- 0:16Speaker 1: buck bus things in the sto good Steve to the mother.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You gotta turn you're going
- 1:11Speaker 1: to do. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your baby, Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will come barted. Everybody you are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do
- 2:13Speaker 1: you understand that? I'm telling you God been big in
- 2:17Speaker 1: my life. I'm not gonna kid you. I'm telling you
- 2:19Speaker 1: in here do the same thing for you. God. God
- 2:23Speaker 1: is a gentleman, you know. I want to I want
- 2:25Speaker 1: to point that out to you. God is an absolute gentleman.
- 2:31Speaker 1: He will not come in unless he's invited. He don't
- 2:36Speaker 1: just barge into your life. He gives us the power
- 2:40Speaker 1: of choice. You know, if you say you got it,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I don't need you. He let you have it. If
- 2:46Speaker 1: you say I need you, come see about me. He
- 2:49Speaker 1: right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man. So
- 2:54Speaker 1: always say to people this if you've gotten yourself into something,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and please know I have. I was stuck. I thought
- 3:06Speaker 1: a couple of times, well, might not make it past
- 3:11Speaker 1: this one. But then if I don't make it past it,
- 3:14Speaker 1: what's gonna happen? And then I held on to this
- 3:18Speaker 1: little thing that my mother kept talking to me about.
- 3:21Speaker 1: She said, sometimes when you ain't got nothing else in you,
- 3:25Speaker 1: just hope, she said, just hope it'll be all right,
- 3:29Speaker 1: you know. And what I've learned in my life is
- 3:31Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. Hope. It's just
- 3:37Speaker 1: is there possibility out there for me? I sure hope
- 3:43Speaker 1: something happened. See hope, hope it's okay, man, Because like
- 3:49Speaker 1: I say, for me, the way I've lived my life,
- 3:52Speaker 1: hope was the beginning of faith. It was just the idea.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's just the thought that something could change from me,
- 3:59Speaker 1: that some thing could be a little bit different from me,
- 4:02Speaker 1: that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason, I could
- 4:07Speaker 1: be saved, I could be rescued. Things could turn around,
- 4:12Speaker 1: it could head any other direction. Maybe I could quit
- 4:15Speaker 1: messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will
- 4:19Speaker 1: just say all right. I don't know, but I can't
- 4:23Speaker 1: count the times I've been in that position. But then
- 4:26Speaker 1: once I hope a little bit, and then I remember
- 4:28Speaker 1: also my mother, because she was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:32Speaker 1: she taught me the most valuable lesson I've ever learned
- 4:34Speaker 1: in my life. Nothing has been greater in my life
- 4:37Speaker 1: than my faith. She taught me to pray. Mamma used
- 4:41Speaker 1: to say, when you get real dark, for your son,
- 4:43Speaker 1: prad changes things. She said, when you seem like you
- 4:47Speaker 1: lost and you can't find your way, stop and pray,
- 4:52Speaker 1: she said, because prad changes things. You know, when you
- 4:55Speaker 1: get a point in your life when you've done all
- 4:57Speaker 1: you can do and you can't do no more, and
- 4:59Speaker 1: you I don't know what to do next, she says, stop, suh,
- 5:04Speaker 1: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:09Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:13Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying that
- 5:16Speaker 1: God come through for you. That will give you confidence
- 5:19Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
- 5:21Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, She's saying, you start believing. She saying,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 5:28Speaker 1: that hope into belief, that hope into faith, the ability
- 5:34Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 5:37Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from
- 5:45Speaker 1: me Now, I'm pretty sure, Like I say oftentimes to
- 5:47Speaker 1: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
- 5:49Speaker 1: a lot better than I can to you, but just
- 5:52Speaker 1: from my side of it, being as real as I
- 5:54Speaker 1: can be rich. See, hope helps man. If you ain't
- 5:58Speaker 1: strong enough to have faith, have hope, and then if
- 6:01Speaker 1: you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
- 6:05Speaker 1: then that hope gains a little confidence and after a
- 6:09Speaker 1: while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't just hoping, but
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 6:26Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 6:30Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 6:34Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 6:38Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 6:43Speaker 1: your faith. See A lot of people get the word
- 6:46Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 6:50Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 6:53Speaker 1: out here, But really an essence Man, when I talk
- 6:55Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
- 7:00Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:05Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:28Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:38Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:41Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:50Speaker 1: started to notice, see it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 1: people think blessings is money and now, man, that ain't it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plan at land safe.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It's every time they predict bad weather and I get
- 8:05Speaker 1: up in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
- 8:12Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 8:16Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know. Somebody say, hey, man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't know, but I sent this to you. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: thought you might be interested in it. Somebody will send
- 8:27Speaker 1: me a scripture, or somebody will send me something that's favor,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and it always comes at a time when I need
- 8:35Speaker 1: it the most. That's favor, that's pouring out blessings. Now
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm also the recipient of a lot of other blessings too.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You know, I've been blessed with health. That's amazing blessing. Man.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I've been blessed with a spirit of not quitting. I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: been blessed with the ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See,
- 9:00Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:04Speaker 1: into God, Once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:09Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:12Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:15Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:18Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:21Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:24Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:26Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:29Speaker 1: Come on, if you're sitting in the cell this morning,
- 9:32Speaker 1: why why would you not change? You have a chance
- 9:35Speaker 1: to turn your life around with a relationship with God.
- 9:38Speaker 1: What you're waiting on. Are you gonna just keep doing
- 9:41Speaker 1: it like that? Huh? Really? Come on, man, why would
- 9:45Speaker 1: you do that to yourself? Why would you not allow
- 9:48Speaker 1: God to be a part of your life so you
- 9:51Speaker 1: can get the way He want you to be. God
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some big plans for you. If he didn't, you
- 9:55Speaker 1: wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, without
- 10:03Speaker 1: further a dude, it is time. It's moaning time. Come on,

- 11:00Speaker 1: talking that talk yeah, and jay walking when I walked.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Sermons ain't gotta have no meaning. They just got to

- 11:19Speaker 1: the bad. Its moaning short you the lad I know

- 11:42Speaker 1: pretty good. My damn self. I had a radio and
- 11:49Speaker 1: I had turned to one station. Come on, I would
- 11:53Speaker 1: pick the same one that you just picked. Yeah, I
- 11:58Speaker 1: know you picked it because I'm on it and you
- 12:03Speaker 1: hear me. Like I said, other choices, But why make
- 12:09Speaker 1: the wrong choice every day? That's right, I'm knowing that
- 12:14Speaker 1: we are healed and they are there. Come on, ladies
- 12:18Speaker 1: and gentlemen, let me introduce him to a man with

- 13:21Speaker 1: road of foolishness, and I didn't know how to get off.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Sometime when you go down the road of foolishness, it
- 13:28Speaker 1: ain't no exit. So we on the road and I'll

- 18:02Speaker 1: This man I will send him something, but he can't
- 18:06Speaker 1: see it, so I never I never send him anything.
- 18:10Speaker 1: What would you send him though? No, you can what
- 18:13Speaker 1: you're gonna send him, he can't see it. Okay. One
- 18:19Speaker 1: time I boughty my dog, and I just had the
- 18:22Speaker 1: dog standing out in the hallway and bark, and then
- 18:24Speaker 1: I took it back to the patch stough. Okay, who
- 18:31Speaker 1: who whoo who? Stephen said, what's that? I said, that's
- 18:34Speaker 1: your dog? And then I took it back and sold it.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Got your funny back. He ain't gonna be able to
- 18:40Speaker 1: see the dog he tried to pay him one time,
- 18:43Speaker 1: stuck him dead in the eye, sitting that. What you're
- 18:45Speaker 1: not gonna do is be cruel to the animals. Peter,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I love me. Yes, me too, me speaking a Peter
- 18:55Speaker 1: you know. I had an answer then with the Peter people,
- 18:58Speaker 1: Oh no, what happens, because you know what's on the
- 19:02Speaker 1: past anniversary? I was a fox stove to church. Oh yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 1: that them, sure. And we was traveling that we had
- 19:10Speaker 1: went to a white church and some white woman walked
- 19:15Speaker 1: up to me and said she was remember Peter. And
- 19:19Speaker 1: I said, well, do you sell it or you know
- 19:22Speaker 1: what is it? I thought it was bread, you know,
- 19:27Speaker 1: Peter bred, Peter Bred. Okay, like dude, I told I
- 19:33Speaker 1: don't really care for Peter Bread. I'm American, I like
- 19:35Speaker 1: wonder okay. And she said, well, I'm thinking about throwing
- 19:43Speaker 1: some red paint on you. I said, well, these white
- 19:46Speaker 1: folks show worship different. I'd never heard that, the white paint.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I've heard the feet washing. Black folk don't do that either.
- 19:52Speaker 1: They have leave Washington, they had communion. But what is
- 19:55Speaker 1: the red paint? Folk? She said, because you was a murderer,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I should wait to me. Who was you calling the
- 20:04Speaker 1: murder in the house of the Lord? You because you
- 20:06Speaker 1: murdered that fox? And I didn't do no such a thing.
- 20:09Speaker 1: The fox was dead in the stoke. Okay, Now what
- 20:12Speaker 1: I did, was I gave it a home. It's what
- 20:14Speaker 1: I did. What you want to do is you had
- 20:18Speaker 1: these people kill the foxes and then you don't you
- 20:20Speaker 1: leave them in the stone that there's your God for
- 20:22Speaker 1: no good reason. Sister, I put him on my shoulders
- 20:26Speaker 1: and bring him to the church. Throw some red paint
- 20:28Speaker 1: on it, to be your last throw of your life. Okay,
- 20:32Speaker 1: throw some paint on me. You might throw your life
- 20:34Speaker 1: out the window. Gets risk in the parking lot. You're
- 20:41Speaker 1: gonna get to Peter. Beat out you. I'll tell you that.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Thank you, sister. I beat you till you Peter. Okay,
- 20:52Speaker 1: nephew told me run that breakback. It's coming up right

- 23:08Speaker 1: the nasty employer of the month because you're coming out
- 23:10Speaker 1: you're not washing your heads. I saw you scratch your
- 23:12Speaker 1: head there and you ain't putting on I always for
- 23:17Speaker 1: gloves on my head, my gloves. We don't know who

- 26:31Speaker 1: but I'm definitely gonna do it in tomorrow. Believe that
- 26:34Speaker 1: was you, ready though I was shell. Yeah, I'm gonna man,

- 26:47Speaker 1: more thing to ask you, baby girl, what what is
- 26:50Speaker 1: the badest radio station in the land. You already know
- 26:54Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show got start right. Yeah, that's
- 27:02Speaker 1: just to the temp power right there, because she said
- 27:04Speaker 1: five forty five. In other words, I'm gonna whoop you
- 27:09Speaker 1: over hand from five forty five to six and be
- 27:11Speaker 1: right on time. I've been an employed you the most
- 27:14Speaker 1: six times, right. She run off the stats again. That's
- 27:24Speaker 1: that no nonsense baby, that's when you call the no
- 27:26Speaker 1: nonsense people. I'm not in the hand. I'm tell you
- 27:29Speaker 1: exactly right now. You've benna get your button to yes,
- 27:31Speaker 1: who knows you call a complaint number on the back
- 27:34Speaker 1: of the received on the back of the receipt. I
- 27:36Speaker 1: don't know what you're calling me for. Yeah, and I
- 27:38Speaker 1: washed my hands all the time, so I still don't
- 27:40Speaker 1: know what you're talking about, right right, But I'm I'm
- 27:44Speaker 1: gonna hoop your ass tomorrow though on wins five forty five.
- 27:49Speaker 1: So I don't even want to interview with my hill. Yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 1: that's when you come to work early to handle some
- 27:55Speaker 1: business ships. About that. So I don't mess my money
- 27:58Speaker 1: up right, I'm our starts making sandwiches that six with
- 28:03Speaker 1: these coins, I do ladders and tomato spreads, and then
- 28:07Speaker 1: I get the onions lined up. I get all everything,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I get all the condiments brought out. I'm not fitting
- 28:13Speaker 1: mess be here quarter to six. Don't nobody fight that
- 28:16Speaker 1: long dog for real? Do Ain't ain't that on the
- 28:21Speaker 1: real dog? Ain't no fifteen minute fights. The fight is
- 28:24Speaker 1: if you go twenty second, that's that's kind of long.
- 28:27Speaker 1: What a thirty second dog? If you're in the fight
- 28:29Speaker 1: for three minutes, oh yeah, you've a fight. You don't
- 28:35Speaker 1: even It's different from boxing because boxing has rules and
- 28:39Speaker 1: they trained to go twelve rounds. If you get in
- 28:42Speaker 1: a fight for three four minutes, you have no idea
- 28:46Speaker 1: because the exertion that are no rules, So now anything go.
- 28:50Speaker 1: He trying to get you in the headlock, trying to
- 28:52Speaker 1: throw you, trying to stomp you, punch at the kicking.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So dog, it's a lot mentally going on in that
- 28:59Speaker 1: three minutes. Dog, That's that's some work right there. I've
- 29:03Speaker 1: never seen a three minute fight out on the street
- 29:05Speaker 1: or for fighting for three minutes. Oh no, dog, And
- 29:09Speaker 1: if you do, okay, let's go. We got an entertainment
- 29:12Speaker 1: and national news coming up at the top. You're listening
- 29:19Speaker 1: Oprah Winfrey. She has reached out to the mother of
- 29:22Speaker 1: ah Mod Aubrey and he is the Africana mail jogger
- 29:26Speaker 1: who was gunned down by two men in Georgia. Miss
- 29:29Speaker 1: Wanda Cooper Jones said she received a surprise phone call
- 29:33Speaker 1: from Oprah on Friday, which would have been a Mod's
- 29:37Speaker 1: twenty sixth birthday. We talked about that. She told Tim
- 29:40Speaker 1: Z that Oprah expressed her condolences and said that she
- 29:44Speaker 1: was thinking of a Mod on the days that should
- 29:47Speaker 1: have been, you know, the day that he was celebrating
- 29:50Speaker 1: his birthday. Oprah also said that she was sending her
- 29:54Speaker 1: something in the mail but wouldn't say what. So that
- 29:58Speaker 1: was really, really, really cool. Yeah, very nice of Oprah.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And then other trending news A mod's mother who we
- 30:03Speaker 1: was just talking about, Miss Wanda Cooper. She talked to
- 30:06Speaker 1: TMZ yesterday and she wants the death penalty for her
- 30:10Speaker 1: son's killers. Take a listen. What do you see as
- 30:14Speaker 1: justice coming out of this? We've heard jay Z, Alicia Keys, Oprah.
- 30:19Speaker 1: A lot of people come forward saying that they want
- 30:22Speaker 1: to see swift justice here. What do you would your
- 30:24Speaker 1: family consider swift justice? I don't like for all hands
- 30:28Speaker 1: that were involved, that played the part, and my son's
- 30:31Speaker 1: murdered to be prosecuted to the highest It's interesting Georgia
- 30:35Speaker 1: has a death penalty. Prosecutors have discretion depending on circumstances.
- 30:42Speaker 1: So with that on the table, is there anything you
- 30:45Speaker 1: think is appropriate here? Coming from the mother's my point
- 30:50Speaker 1: of view, my son died, so they should die as well. Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 1: If her white man gets life gets a death penity
- 31:00Speaker 1: for killing the black man, that would be interesting to see. Yeah, Steve,
- 31:05Speaker 1: a white man killing a black person and getting death
- 31:08Speaker 1: the death penalty, that would be interesting to see. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: think it's possible. What we that's just me look too, Yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I know, I know, I'm gonna be positive about it.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I think it's possible. I mean, you know, watching that
- 31:25Speaker 1: horrific videotape and what we saw, I mean, it's it
- 31:30Speaker 1: seems like it should. Yeah. Ain't it amazing to you
- 31:38Speaker 1: over the years, how we look at the video and
- 31:42Speaker 1: we see something so evidently clear, and when they get
- 31:46Speaker 1: it to a jury behind them closed doors, they don't
- 31:49Speaker 1: see what we saw. No, it's alarming, It's shockingly alarming.
- 31:55Speaker 1: How many times the video tells the story. Yeah, this
- 32:01Speaker 1: video is cut and dry. I am still though, man,
- 32:05Speaker 1: I am still waiting to see other than Chris Cuomo.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I'm waiting to see that that famous, powerful non African
- 32:20Speaker 1: American step forward and say something about this. Yeah. I mean, look, man,
- 32:27Speaker 1: we can't keep marching for this alone ourselves because it
- 32:30Speaker 1: hasn't worked. Not. The last time marches worked for us
- 32:34Speaker 1: was Civil rights movement. That was the last time. Then
- 32:37Speaker 1: they found a way to negate that. So now they've
- 32:42Speaker 1: made that in an affect the protest, the Me too movement. Oh,
- 32:45Speaker 1: we protested, that just went away, you know, you know,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you know, you know, what lives matter, the the kneeling
- 32:52Speaker 1: for the national hand. Now that that went away. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: that's also the other day Steve that said, if your
- 32:59Speaker 1: white friend won't stand up against racism, then you don't
- 33:03Speaker 1: have no white friends. That's pretty simple. Come on, man,
- 33:09Speaker 1: this is if your white friends don't stand won't stand
- 33:11Speaker 1: up against racism, then you don't have no white preens.
- 33:15Speaker 1: That's it. That's it, all right, Steve. Time to move on,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Time to get to today's headlines, Ladies and gentlemen, Miss
- 33:21Speaker 1: Anne Trull, thank you very much. Issues concerning President Trump
- 33:25Speaker 1: where the subject of three cases heard by the Supreme
- 33:27Speaker 1: Court yesterday and by teleconference because of the coronavirus. One
- 33:32Speaker 1: case involves the House Financial Services Committee, which is looking
- 33:35Speaker 1: into possible money laundering, Another involves the House Intelligence Committee,
- 33:39Speaker 1: which is looking at a possible interference in the twenty
- 33:41Speaker 1: sixteen election. And the third case involves Trump's former personal lawyer,
- 33:45Speaker 1: Michael Cohen, who told Congress last year that Trump was
- 33:48Speaker 1: inflating certain records and deflating others, which prompted legislator to
- 33:52Speaker 1: ask for his tax returns, which you know he has
- 33:54Speaker 1: never ever ever turned over. He always has an excuse
- 33:57Speaker 1: for that. Infectious disease expert doctor Anthony Fauci and other
- 34:01Speaker 1: top Trump administration health officials testified before a Senate committee
- 34:05Speaker 1: yesterday about possible advancements in the fight against coronavirus, about
- 34:10Speaker 1: treatments and testing and vaccines and planned reopenings. And they
- 34:13Speaker 1: testified remotely since they were all self quarantined after coming
- 34:17Speaker 1: in contact with infected White House staffers and doctor Fauci
- 34:20Speaker 1: warned against sending people back too soon to work and school.
- 34:24Speaker 1: The idea of having treatments available or a vaccine to
- 34:28Speaker 1: facilitate the reentry of students into the fall term would
- 34:34Speaker 1: be something that would be a bit of a bridge
- 34:36Speaker 1: too far. Bouchie says he's worried that states that reopen
- 34:39Speaker 1: everything too quickly could actually kickstart new outbreaks of the disease.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And now New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says there is
- 34:47Speaker 1: a new problem possibly. He's looking at about one hundred
- 34:50Speaker 1: cases of a rare inflammatory disease that appears to be
- 34:53Speaker 1: linked to the coronavirus, but targeting the young nine and
- 34:57Speaker 1: ten year olds. Signs of it include swollen blood vessels
- 35:00Speaker 1: and very red tongues. He says, a nine year old
- 35:03Speaker 1: boy part of upstate New York with a relatively low
- 35:06Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. Caseload is recovering from this new thing, while
- 35:09Speaker 1: three other children have died. Very sad news. California congressom
- 35:14Speaker 1: Maxine Water says her sister has died of COVID nineteen.
- 35:17Speaker 1: As chairperson of the Financial Services Committee, she shared the
- 35:19Speaker 1: news of her sister's condition last month on the House
- 35:22Speaker 1: floor while holding back the tears. I'm going to take
- 35:24Speaker 1: a moment to dedicate this legislation to my dear sister,
- 35:28Speaker 1: who is dying in a hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri
- 35:31Speaker 1: right now, infected by the corona virus. This legislation provides
- 35:37Speaker 1: one hundred billion for hospitals. And the legislation she was
- 35:41Speaker 1: talking about was the Healthcare Enhancement Act, and again she
- 35:44Speaker 1: was holding back those tears. Maxine Water says that losing
- 35:47Speaker 1: her sister was one of the hardest experiences of her life.
- 35:50Speaker 1: It was not easy, but in many ways, she says,
- 35:52Speaker 1: I'm glad she's out of pain. More sad news, the
- 35:55Speaker 1: roy of Siegfried and Roy in Las Vegas that Tiger
- 35:58Speaker 1: Training Act has also died. Authorities say also died of
- 36:03Speaker 1: coronavirus related illnesses. He was seventy five. Now back to
- 36:07Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show? All right?
- 36:12Speaker 1: So yesterday doctor Anthony Fauci and three other top government
- 36:17Speaker 1: doctors testified before the Senate by video addressing the government's
- 36:22Speaker 1: coronavirus response and the reopening of the economy. Doctor Fauci
- 36:27Speaker 1: is concerned about the states, you know, reopening too quickly,
- 36:31Speaker 1: particularly without seeing a fourteen day drop in new cases.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Take a listen. Even if we get better control over
- 36:39Speaker 1: the months, it is likely that they will be virus
- 36:42Speaker 1: somewhere on this planet that will eventually get back to us.
- 36:46Speaker 1: So my approach towards the possibility of a rebound in
- 36:51Speaker 1: a second wave in the fall is that A it's
- 36:54Speaker 1: entirely conceivable and possible that would happen. But B I
- 36:58Speaker 1: would hope at between now and then, given the capability
- 37:01Speaker 1: of doing the testing that you've heard from from Peneral Gerard,
- 37:05Speaker 1: and the ability of us to stock up on personal
- 37:08Speaker 1: protective equipment and the workforce that the CDC under doctor
- 37:12Speaker 1: Redfield will be putting forth to be able to identify
- 37:15Speaker 1: isolated contact trace, I hope that if we do have
- 37:19Speaker 1: the threat of a second wave, we will be able
- 37:22Speaker 1: to deal with it very effectively. To prevent it from
- 37:25Speaker 1: becoming an outbreak not only worse than now, but much
- 37:28Speaker 1: much less. I have to learn from the mistakes from
- 37:33Speaker 1: before the delay with the President actually taking this seriously.
- 37:38Speaker 1: And that's what some of the Democrats were saying that
- 37:39Speaker 1: President Trump yesterday was more focused on fighting the truth
- 37:43Speaker 1: than fighting the virus, and sadly Americans have paid the
- 37:48Speaker 1: price for that. Well, there's a statistic Nepolder says eighty
- 37:52Speaker 1: four percent of Republicans GOP are an approval of the
- 37:56Speaker 1: way he's handling the coronavirus. He has successfully again told
- 38:01Speaker 1: them that he reacted quickly, that's not true. He also
- 38:06Speaker 1: is blaming the Democrats for fighting the reopening of the
- 38:09Speaker 1: economy for political reasons, stating that you know, look, they
- 38:14Speaker 1: don't want this economy to get back on the feet
- 38:17Speaker 1: because of political reasons, meaning it would hurt him in
- 38:20Speaker 1: the reelection. But isn't that the same reason He's rushing
- 38:23Speaker 1: to open the country so these unemployment numbers can go
- 38:28Speaker 1: down and he can tout that he's bringing the country
- 38:31Speaker 1: back up, but it's at the expense of a lot
- 38:34Speaker 1: of people. So now, look, I understand folks wanting to
- 38:39Speaker 1: go back to work, I understand people needing to go
- 38:42Speaker 1: back to work. I get it, man. And if I
- 38:45Speaker 1: was in a position where I had to risk my
- 38:47Speaker 1: health to save my family, I probably would too. To
- 38:50Speaker 1: be honest with you, I take as many precautions as
- 38:53Speaker 1: I can, but I would have to go and try
- 38:57Speaker 1: to rescue my family from this speed tailspin win. So
- 39:01Speaker 1: I get it, man, I get it. But we got
- 39:05Speaker 1: to be smart, and we got to be careful. You
- 39:07Speaker 1: got to keep washing your hands, you got to wear
- 39:09Speaker 1: your mask, and you got to practice social distancing or else. Man,
- 39:13Speaker 1: it can happen. Yeah, but get tested. Quare all these
- 39:16Speaker 1: damn test they talking about? Yeah, that we don't have
- 39:19Speaker 1: access to all? Right, coming up next, Steve, we're gonna
- 39:22Speaker 1: switch gears. It's time for Ask the CLO, the Chief
- 39:26Speaker 1: Love Officer. Yeah, right after this. Yeah, you're listening to
- 39:32Speaker 1: time now for Ask the CLO, the Chief Love Officer.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You can submit your questions if you have a question
- 39:39Speaker 1: for the Cello at AM dot com. You're ready for
- 39:43Speaker 1: me to ask him, Nephew, This one is from Scared
- 39:48Speaker 1: Christian in Alabama. Scared Christian, Scared Christian in Alabama. So
- 39:54Speaker 1: here we go, Uncle Steve. I need your help. I
- 39:57Speaker 1: am a I am twenty five years old, and I
- 40:00Speaker 1: am sleeping with the first lady of my church. She
- 40:04Speaker 1: is thirty eight, and she loves having wild sex and
- 40:07Speaker 1: weird places all around her house. We've had sex in
- 40:11Speaker 1: the pastor's man cave, in the kitchen, in the laundry room,
- 40:15Speaker 1: and the hot tub. I confided in my best friend,
- 40:18Speaker 1: who is a musician at the church, and he said
- 40:21Speaker 1: that I am as good as dead because the pastor
- 40:25Speaker 1: has cameras all over his house. The first lady and
- 40:29Speaker 1: I are scared as heck waiting to see if the
- 40:32Speaker 1: pastor says anything. I can't believe this is happening. Is
- 40:35Speaker 1: there any way to get out of this? You got
- 40:38Speaker 1: to tell them cameras out the wall, all the cameras
- 40:46Speaker 1: out that wall. I tell you, don't go over there.
- 40:50Speaker 1: But you're twenty five. You're going back. She thirty eight.
- 40:52Speaker 1: You're getting some things done you ain't never have. You
- 40:55Speaker 1: got to get them cameras and to take you got
- 40:58Speaker 1: to get out in the room where the brains is that.
- 41:00Speaker 1: You got to tell all that out. You need the
- 41:05Speaker 1: wire in everything. Then you need to get the pass
- 41:08Speaker 1: code so you can get up in the clouds and
- 41:10Speaker 1: get it. You got to get all that. We ain't
- 41:14Speaker 1: gonna get the past goal from. I don't know she
- 41:17Speaker 1: sleep with the pastor. Now let me explain something to you.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Here's what you can notice. If the pastor knew it,
- 41:27Speaker 1: you would know it. Okay immediately, Oh bro, ain't no
- 41:32Speaker 1: man letting you sleep with his wife and then he
- 41:35Speaker 1: just keep watching tape all over his house? Yeah? Yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: all right. Now, second piece of advice to you, young man.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You ever heard the term quit while you ahead? That
- 41:49Speaker 1: any one that you haven't been busted yet, So now
- 41:58Speaker 1: you're gonna go in him and the first lady scared
- 42:01Speaker 1: at the same time the first lady know where you
- 42:04Speaker 1: cameras that y'all gotta get this camera. Don you can
- 42:09Speaker 1: get arrested for breaking in entering, yeah, and have a
- 42:13Speaker 1: better shot then get busted for sleeping with this man wife.
- 42:22Speaker 1: But I don't I don't recommend you breaking in the
- 42:24Speaker 1: man's house, I said, dog, But when you should quit
- 42:26Speaker 1: while you ahead, because little man, you're gonna get busted
- 42:31Speaker 1: though you can't keep it up. But we got to
- 42:36Speaker 1: find this footage. But dog, y'all, y'all, y'all stupid you're
- 42:40Speaker 1: in the man cave. What's wrong with her? Not to
- 42:42Speaker 1: mention how triphin she is as the first lady bringing
- 42:47Speaker 1: another man into their house in the man cave, the kitchen,
- 42:52Speaker 1: the hot tub, the laundry, the laundry room. I could
- 42:56Speaker 1: see the garage, you know, I could see that. How
- 43:03Speaker 1: about not doing it? You're married? How about that? All right,
- 43:06Speaker 1: let's call there. I go there, three dudes. Well that
- 43:14Speaker 1: ain't an option? Huh? Here? All right? There? Here we
- 43:18Speaker 1: go Anonymous in Maryland. Listen to this, Steve. I am
- 43:21Speaker 1: thirty one year old married man, and I'm in love
- 43:23Speaker 1: with my cousin's ex girlfriend. We bonded over a seven
- 43:26Speaker 1: month period, and we both can't admit that we are
- 43:28Speaker 1: falling in love. I told my cousin, and he gave
- 43:30Speaker 1: us his blessing. My only problem is that I'm married.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'm only I only married my wife because she got
- 43:36Speaker 1: pregnant and I wanted to be in my child's life.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I want out of this marriage so I can finally
- 43:41Speaker 1: have true love with a woman that I love. What
- 43:44Speaker 1: is wrong with that? Is that so wrong? Well, you're
- 43:46Speaker 1: gonna have to get a divorce though you can't be
- 43:49Speaker 1: in love with another woman. You ain't low with your wife.
- 43:51Speaker 1: You have to get a divorce that it's gonna cost you.
- 43:53Speaker 1: You're gonna have to pay the calls. I can't tell
- 43:56Speaker 1: you to stay with it and try to work through
- 43:58Speaker 1: it because you don't want to. You only married a car.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Do you want to be with the family. You met
- 44:02Speaker 1: this other girl, you in love? Going there and tell
- 44:04Speaker 1: her the truth? Divorces happened all the time. You're not
- 44:08Speaker 1: gonna stay with this woman and do right. Yeah, you're
- 44:11Speaker 1: not gonna do it. You're already doing wrong. All right? Well,
- 44:14Speaker 1: thank you? See Elo coming up next. The nephew was
- 44:17Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. Right after this. You're
- 44:22Speaker 1: listening to morning show coming up at the top of
- 44:27Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after today's Strawberry letter.
- 44:31Speaker 1: The subject is my life is about to be a
- 44:35Speaker 1: real Strawberry letter. Okay, all right, but right now the
- 44:42Speaker 1: nephew is here for today's prank phone call. What you got?
- 44:47Speaker 1: What if? What got? A home run? Nor? Can I
- 44:54Speaker 1: borrow your pool? Your pool? A row your pool? There's
- 45:02Speaker 1: not nohing you I asked you. Normally I ask anybody,
- 45:05Speaker 1: but ain't. Nevertheless, can I borrow your pool. Take a listen. Hello, Hello,
- 45:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Dobba, Hey, Dova, how are you doing?
- 45:16Speaker 1: This is Kendrick. I live in the neighborhood. I got
- 45:19Speaker 1: got your number for one of the neighbors. What what
- 45:22Speaker 1: neighbor do you know, Louise that lives I guess a
- 45:24Speaker 1: couple of a couple of doors down from you. Okay, listen,
- 45:30Speaker 1: I got a bit of an issue here. I'm not
- 45:32Speaker 1: actually on your street, I'm the next street over, but
- 45:36Speaker 1: Louise told me that you might be willing to help
- 45:39Speaker 1: me out due to the whole uh you know, p yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 1: all right, due to the pandemic situation. The clubhouse is
- 45:50Speaker 1: actually closed and you know, nobody's able to use the gym,
- 45:54Speaker 1: nobody's able to use the pool or anything like that
- 45:58Speaker 1: until all of this kind of passes over. But my
- 46:01Speaker 1: son's birthday was actually his birthday party is scheduled for
- 46:04Speaker 1: this coming weekend, and we now don't have a pool
- 46:08Speaker 1: to you, and we wanted to see if you didn't
- 46:10Speaker 1: mind letting us bar your pool on Saturday and U
- 46:14Speaker 1: and have my son's birthday party only a couple of hours.
- 46:16Speaker 1: You know what they'd be like fifteen twenty kids nude
- 46:18Speaker 1: sifteen to twenty kids, are you in the United States,
- 46:22Speaker 1: you understand what's going on. I don't know why Louise
- 46:25Speaker 1: told you that. I'm so part I'm just going to
- 46:27Speaker 1: apologize for her. I don't know why she told you
- 46:30Speaker 1: anything like that. But I'm not lending out my pool
- 46:33Speaker 1: to know fifteen to twenty kids that we had a
- 46:35Speaker 1: small gathering the other week, but it was only three people,
- 46:40Speaker 1: and I guess she saw that and I told her that,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you know, it was a birthday party. But I don't
- 46:45Speaker 1: mean I'm lending out my pool to people. That's not
- 46:47Speaker 1: what it be. And that was a family member and
- 46:49Speaker 1: I don't even know you, So for her to even
- 46:52Speaker 1: give you my number was kind of goofy, you know
- 46:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So okay, okay, so so wait, wait,
- 46:58Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait minute. We already know it's is
- 47:00Speaker 1: that we're in the pandemic. I got that. What I mean,
- 47:03Speaker 1: you know my son from the turn tent, you know
- 47:05Speaker 1: what I mean. So I mean, I don't want to
- 47:07Speaker 1: tell my son and we're not gonna have his pool part.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just asking you for a couple hours
- 47:11Speaker 1: and it ain't but twenty kids. Yeah, but you know
- 47:14Speaker 1: what I mean to do with you or your son? Baby,
- 47:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Like you're gonna have to find Why don't
- 47:18Speaker 1: you go to a hotel or something like that and
- 47:21Speaker 1: maybe you can like run out there pool or something.
- 47:25Speaker 1: But I'm not living my pool to anybody. And right
- 47:27Speaker 1: now things aren't cleared up. I don't even know if
- 47:29Speaker 1: I'm allowed to. And you talk about fifteen to twenty
- 47:32Speaker 1: people in my house and I don't. I'm talking about
- 47:36Speaker 1: fifteen to twenty. And is she told me you would
- 47:38Speaker 1: be you know, you would be straight with me using
- 47:40Speaker 1: the using your barbecue grill or whatever, so I could
- 47:42Speaker 1: do some hot dogs for the kids. So well, okay,
- 47:45Speaker 1: well sir, I'm sorry. I think Louise got the wrong idea.
- 47:49Speaker 1: You know what, this this is what this is what's
- 47:51Speaker 1: wrong with black people? Right here? This right here, this
- 47:54Speaker 1: what's wrong with black people. Black people. It's about smart
- 47:57Speaker 1: people who know that this virus is out here, people
- 48:00Speaker 1: killing kids and going rambo on everybody. No, no, because
- 48:05Speaker 1: my thing is you're not gonna put my family at
- 48:08Speaker 1: risk for your little son. Now, you can go ahead,
- 48:11Speaker 1: like I said, and maybe call one of these hotels
- 48:14Speaker 1: or motels. We'll see if they canna let you use
- 48:15Speaker 1: their pool. You're not using my pool, sir. And like
- 48:18Speaker 1: I said, I don't know why Louise gave you my number,
- 48:21Speaker 1: but I'm sorry that you having a part. I don't
- 48:23Speaker 1: know why Louise gave me your number either. You're gonna
- 48:25Speaker 1: sit here in that somebody excuse me, sir. Okay, I
- 48:30Speaker 1: on this note, I'm just gonna end this call because
- 48:32Speaker 1: you're taking it too far. Okay, you have you know
- 48:35Speaker 1: what you know. What I'm gonna do. What I'm not
- 48:37Speaker 1: gonna do is deny my son. I'm just gonna come
- 48:39Speaker 1: over there I get something. I don't have nothing to
- 48:41Speaker 1: do with me. I don't. I'm just gonna you don't
- 48:43Speaker 1: understand I'm coming over that throwing my pool party for
- 48:46Speaker 1: my son. Anyway, I'm not gonna not. Louise already told
- 48:49Speaker 1: me you was cool, and now you're gonna act like
- 48:50Speaker 1: you're not cool. Louise said, I'm cool because I am cool,
- 48:54Speaker 1: Boo boo, but I'm not cool with you. I don't
- 48:58Speaker 1: know you. Okay. So if I told you I'm Kendrick
- 49:01Speaker 1: from One Street, I told you I will don't give
- 49:05Speaker 1: a flying who you are, It doesn't matter. I don't
- 49:09Speaker 1: know you well enough to let you use my pool.
- 49:11Speaker 1: You're not using my pool. And that's the bottom line
- 49:14Speaker 1: to my son, my son justin don't turn ten but
- 49:17Speaker 1: one damn time. We all just turned ten one time.
- 49:20Speaker 1: What are you talking about. I'm gonna do not have
- 49:24Speaker 1: no pool party for my sor so bad. So how
- 49:26Speaker 1: about you try to white people and see if they
- 49:28Speaker 1: let you use the pool. It's other people around here.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You got John across the street from me. Ask him,
- 49:33Speaker 1: see if that white gonna let you use this pool.
- 49:36Speaker 1: You come to me talk about this white black people,
- 49:38Speaker 1: kend and all. This kind of stuff ain't about being black.
- 49:41Speaker 1: It's about being safe. You're not coming in here. I
- 49:43Speaker 1: don't know what kind of anybody's you got. I don't
- 49:46Speaker 1: know if you had COVID. You ain't even saying no
- 49:48Speaker 1: like that. You don't even tell me whether all y'all
- 49:50Speaker 1: been tested, all the kids have been tested? Can you
- 49:53Speaker 1: tell me? Hey, hey, hey, hey, listen, listen. This is
- 49:56Speaker 1: what I'm gonna tell you. I'm near Saaday at noon,
- 50:00Speaker 1: known the twenty kids to come, gonna be for two

- 53:57Speaker 1: My girl, Shirley Strawberry is out. Harvey will read the letter.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'll respond, Steve will respond as usual, all right, here
- 54:05Speaker 1: we go, All right, here we go. The subject is
- 54:09Speaker 1: my life. It's about to be a real Strawberry letter. Man.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Let me just start by saying, if you wrote in
- 54:18Speaker 1: right here we are, yeah, all right, here we go
- 54:25Speaker 1: this Stephen, Shirley. I can hardly believe what I'm about
- 54:28Speaker 1: to tell you, and I need some advice. I've been
- 54:32Speaker 1: with my girl for almost three years, and I proposed
- 54:35Speaker 1: to her. Her family lives out of states, so I'm
- 54:39Speaker 1: not interacted with them much, but her mom comes to
- 54:43Speaker 1: visit often and we get along very well. Her father
- 54:47Speaker 1: is deceased and she's an only child. And since we're
- 54:50Speaker 1: getting married, we've been talking more about family dynamics and
- 54:54Speaker 1: how we were raised. My fiance told me that she
- 54:58Speaker 1: has a family secret that she needed to share with me.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Before we walked down the aisle. My fiance told me
- 55:06Speaker 1: that her great uncle is her real father. She told
- 55:14Speaker 1: me that her mom's side of the family is not close.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So when her mom was twenty six, she started dating
- 55:22Speaker 1: an older man and had no idea was her uncle,
- 55:26Speaker 1: and the uncle had no idea he was messing with
- 55:28Speaker 1: his niece. She told me that when her mom got pregnant,
- 55:34Speaker 1: she told her parents who her boyfriend was, and all
- 55:38Speaker 1: hell broke loose. I know this is confusing, but basically,
- 55:44Speaker 1: my future mother in law had a baby by her uncle.
- 55:51Speaker 1: My fiance told me that her mom is the black
- 55:54Speaker 1: sheep of the family. I can't believe I'm about to
- 55:57Speaker 1: marry into a real Strawberry letter type family. I have
- 56:01Speaker 1: a loving family, and I would love for our children
- 56:03Speaker 1: to be around both sides of the family. My fiance
- 56:06Speaker 1: says that families isn't all that important to her, and
- 56:09Speaker 1: she wants us to start our own family traditions when
- 56:12Speaker 1: we get married and have kids. I'm not sure about
- 56:15Speaker 1: all of this. Is this a big red flag or
- 56:18Speaker 1: should I try to work through this mess? All right, Well,
- 56:24Speaker 1: you know you proposed to your girlfriend. You guys have
- 56:26Speaker 1: been dating for three years. You're cool with her mom.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Her dad is deceased, so now you guys are getting married.
- 56:32Speaker 1: You talked about family, your fiance revealed to you that
- 56:35Speaker 1: her mom's family is not close, and she told you
- 56:39Speaker 1: about a family's secret that back when her mom was
- 56:42Speaker 1: twenty six years old, she dated an older man. She
- 56:45Speaker 1: didn't know he was her uncle. The uncle didn't know
- 56:48Speaker 1: that the mom was his niece. Okay, all right. Anyway,
- 56:55Speaker 1: her mom got pregnant and revealed who the father was.
- 56:58Speaker 1: The family were crazy, and now the mom is a
- 57:02Speaker 1: black sheep of the family. So now I don't know.
- 57:05Speaker 1: You're judging your fiance's mom her past, and you're concerned
- 57:11Speaker 1: about marrying into a real life Strawberry letter family. You
- 57:15Speaker 1: have to start a marriage out by telling the truth,
- 57:20Speaker 1: especially if you want a chance to succeed. And your
- 57:23Speaker 1: fiance did just that by revealing to you her family's
- 57:28Speaker 1: dark secrets. It's not easy. It's so not easy for
- 57:32Speaker 1: your fiance to be known as the daughter whose father
- 57:36Speaker 1: is her great uncle. That's a cloud of shame that
- 57:41Speaker 1: nobody wants. Nobody wants that. However, she wants to start
- 57:45Speaker 1: her own family traditions with you and when you all
- 57:48Speaker 1: are married with kids. But your question to us is this,
- 57:52Speaker 1: is this a big red flag or should you work
- 57:54Speaker 1: through this mess? So the question back to you is
- 57:57Speaker 1: can you handle the lady of being the black sheep
- 58:01Speaker 1: of the family. Can you handle that with your mother
- 58:03Speaker 1: in law and your daughter? And if you love this woman,
- 58:07Speaker 1: then her mom's passed shouldn't matter. It shouldn't matter. See um, Look, man,
- 58:16Speaker 1: I'm just gonna get right to it. What you're tripping for? Dog?
- 58:20Speaker 1: I don't even understand, I really, man, I mean, look,
- 58:23Speaker 1: what what what any of this got to do with you?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Unless you're the only concern you can have here is
- 58:32Speaker 1: some genetic code has gotten passed down to your wife.
- 58:36Speaker 1: She holding and y'all could have a baby with something
- 58:39Speaker 1: wrong with it. But I don't know. But it don't
- 58:41Speaker 1: seem like it happened, because if it didn't happen to
- 58:43Speaker 1: the girl and they and they don't. I just don't know, man, y'all,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I don't get what's wrong here. You you wearried, you
- 58:52Speaker 1: know the mother in law, y'all get along, y'all getting married.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Your fiance got a family secret, so she come and clean.
- 59:00Speaker 1: She needed to share with you. Told me that her
- 59:03Speaker 1: great uncle is her real father. Okay. She told me
- 59:08Speaker 1: that her mom's side of the family is not close,
- 59:11Speaker 1: so her mother was twenty six, she started dating an
- 59:15Speaker 1: older man and had no idea. Was her uncle? Okay,
- 59:18Speaker 1: that's possible. That's possible. And the uncle had no idea.
- 59:23Speaker 1: He was messing with his knees. That's possible. She told me.
- 59:27Speaker 1: When her mom got pregnant. Your mom even went to
- 59:30Speaker 1: her parents and told her who her boyfriend was. You
- 59:34Speaker 1: you really don't know this my boyfriend here a little
- 59:37Speaker 1: bit older, but this my boyfriend. Wait a minute, that
- 59:41Speaker 1: show damn uncle. Yeah, so all hell broke loose into
- 59:48Speaker 1: the family as I would expect it would. But basically,
- 59:54Speaker 1: my future mother in law had a baby by her uncle,
- 59:57Speaker 1: And what the hell do that got to do with
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you and your fiance? What? You're making a whole lot
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: out of this dog. You're making a whole lot out
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: of this m How old are you? Man? You got
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: to be young. You got to be young, man, because
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you trip it. If you really love this girl and
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you've asked her to marry you what her mother in
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: law did her mom twenty six years ago? Man, let
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: me I'll be back. All right, hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response at twenty three
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: after the hour. You're listening, all right, Steve, we're back
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. My life is about to
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: be a real strawberry letter recap. I'm i'm, I'm, I'm confused. Man,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Just this guy writes in this letter and said he
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: proposed to this girl and her family lives out of state,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: so you ain't interacted with him much, but her mom
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: comes to visit. Y'all get along really well. Her father's deceived.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: She's an only child. Since we're getting married, we've been
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: talking more about family dynamics and how we was raised.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: And then she told me she had a family secret
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: she need to tell you about. Before we went down
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: the aisle. My fiance told me that her great uncle
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: is her real father, but not her mother's brother. Right,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: her mother's parents one of her one of them's brother
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: or sistant siblings. Yes, dog, dog dog. We're a little
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: bit away now. And she told me that her mom's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: side of her family is not close. And when her
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: mom was twenty six, she started dating an older man,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: had no idea was her uncle. Who would be her
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: mother's parents brought sibley, yes, one of them, yes, And
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: then she got pregnant. She told her parents to who
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: her boyfriend was and all hell broke loose, and then
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you said, I know this is confusing, but basically, my
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: future mother in law had a baby by her uncle
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and doc, do you really know what has happened in
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: some families? Yea or or I don't know how you
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: think this all of a sudden is the biggest Strawberry
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Letter We didn't head because it ain't. And I'm telling you, man,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: slow your roll down. My fiance told me that her
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: mom is the black sheep of the family. Yeah, of
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: course they gonna blame her. How could you? How could
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: you not? That was a picture of him. Maybe maybe
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: not Nonna. Anyway, I can't believe I'm about to marry
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: into a real Strawberry letter type family. That what you're
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: tripping for. You don't even see these people, you just said,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: they live out of state. You have very little interaction
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: with him. You ain't never met him. You'ven't met the mother.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: She's a beautiful lady. Mistake, it's happening in life, partner,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I got news for you to make something. You're gonna
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: make some more. Yeah, when do people get forgiven? I
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: have a loving family, and I would love for our
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: children to be around both sides of the family. You
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: ain't even around both sides of the family. Yeah, dog,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you want your kids to be around both sides of
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the family. You ain't even around both sides of the family.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: So where you're going with this? You you got so
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: much mustard on this sandwich right here, it can't taste good.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You know, bro, mustard is good. But if you put
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: all the mustard in the jaw on one sandwich, you're
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: not gonna enjoy that sandwich. No, you can't taste it. Bro.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: You you ain't got number mustard on hire. My fiance sayings,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: family isn't all that important to her, and she wants
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: to start our own family traditions. You know why because
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: she comes from a slightly dysfunctional family. That's right. Her
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: mama got banned from the family, so her mama raised
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: her and took her off to the side. She the
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: black sheep of the family, so she was never bought
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: or you. Probably the fiace ain't been around him because
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: they they probably ostracized to mama. So she want to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: start her own family traditions with you when we get
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: married and have kids. I'm not sure about all this.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Is this a big red flag? What is your punk
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: ass talking about a red flag? Faulk, boy, you got
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: the man up. Man, put your arms around this girl
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and embrace her and give her the life she never had.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: What you tripping, faul Man? Is this a red flag?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: You ain't no girl, We're talking about some damn red flags?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: What twitter is your ass talking? Boy? Boy? Or should
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I try to work through this mess? Dog? It's not
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: a mess for you to have to work through. Your
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: girl came to you and told you a family secret. Yeah,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: she was trying to Yes, she didn't want to get married.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: In that beyond the table, she told you. Should I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I try to work through this mess? Hold up, partner,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: let me say this to you. If you get married.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: If you think this is a mess, you ain't seen
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: nothing yet. Love, get married, mess boy, this is nothing, doc,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: This ain't you don't even see them people. Her mother
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: nice to you. Her mother did a great job raising
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: your fiance. The mother made a mistake, she did you
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: know she could have got taken advantage of She might
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: not be telling you all of it. You don't know
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: how that's exactly right, Stephen, what you said to Junior,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: she made a mistake, Unknowingly, she said, she didn't know.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You don't know. Boy, your family, hey man, you're loving
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: ass family, yes, yes, no, loving ass family. Yeah. He
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: got some skeletons too. Boy, the stuff my daddy took
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to his grade. I'm I don't know. Maybe your girl
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: is twenty two, maybe her mom is fifty two, fifty three,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: something like that. Maybe your girl twenty six and she
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: told you twenty six years ago my mom. I'm assuming
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: somewhere like that. Man, Get off this, don't write this letter.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: What that is paper Forget on what you just heard.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Ain't nothing for you to once you're fitting to solve.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You can't change nothing. That's it tripping up something you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: can't change it. Get out of you. I love it. Good. Anybody,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Steve post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve

- 1:08:02Speaker 1: us one. The most lyrically correct written song in the
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: history of love song, the most lyrically intense love song
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: was as Yes, what dude, dude round the side of
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: the up. No, she's revolved boy. Yeah he wrote this song. Yes,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: that is beautiful song. But here go my jam thought
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: one of my favorite team. I got a bunch of them.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Note but go ahead, off but that damn rocket love. Yes,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: beautiful Steve got his head out. This is a song
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: about a dude that was having a relationship with a
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: woman and she broke up with him, and she took
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: him riding on a star and about a half a
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: mile from heaven, she dropped me back down to that cold,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: cold ground. I wouldn't do that to a dog. Beautiful genius,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: right boy, your genius. He got some heaters. Let me

- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Have mercy? Yeah? What we do this? Yes, that's what
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: she was doing. That was the movie My own minds weak. Yes,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: we'll be back. Stephen one the birthday, Happy birthday, boy,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Congratulations are in order for Princeton
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: grad Nicholas Johnson. He's the first black valedictorian in the
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: university's two hundred and seventy four year by right there,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Princeton they league school. Yes, the one and only. Yes, Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Nicholas my coat I got hot? How smart is Yes?
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: He's the first value Victorian. I couldn't been a valve
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Victoria in the third grade. I wouldn't have value Victorian. None,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wouldn't have valid Victorian in wood shop
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: and I could make some stuff. Man, you said, I
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: was saladed up dog and wood shop. Dog, I took metal,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Yeah dog, I was making stuff and I made a
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: crowbarn metal one time. Yeah dog, I made I made
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: a ratchet wrench in metal for my bike. Uh huh
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: know that fit a little inch nut that you tighten
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: up on your black I'm making some stuff, don't what
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: wouldn't have been of nothing? Due to Valvictoria of Princeton,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Princeton Nicholas Johnson, let me tell you what he said.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: He said, being Princeton's first black valedictorian holds special significance
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: to me, particularly giving Princeton's historical ties to the institution
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: of slavery. I hope that this achievement motivates and inspires
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: younger black students, particularly those interested in STEM fields and
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: of course STEM in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Man,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: go ahead, brother, Nicholas Johnson here is from Canada. Yeah.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Nine of nine of the past presidents or slave owner
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: at Princeton, So congratulate Steve. Do you have any advice
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: for graduates of twenty twenties is something you just want
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to say to you know, we were talking about this
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: earlier off the year of what's happening. I mean, no, Look,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it's a monumental accomplishment to graduate from any institution of
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: how learning. I take my head off to anybody who does.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I was unable to do it. I just didn't have
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: what it took at the time, which was I didn't
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: have goals back then. I didn't have understanding back then,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I didn't have a plan back then, So I didn't
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: make it. So I take my hat off to anybody.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: So monumental task. But like I told as one graduating class,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: when you get a diploma, it's like you now have
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: a ticket, but the ticket allows you to get in.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: When you have a ticket, you can get in something.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: You can get in the club. If you got a ticket,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: you can get into dance. You can get in the party.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: You just have a ticket. Now, what you do once
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you get into dance, it's what you do after you
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: get your degree, and the ticket lets you get into dance.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Once you get out of school and you get into
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: the work world in life, what you do in the
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: dance has nothing to do with your ticket anymore, you
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: got to start performing at the dance. And so I
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: implore all graduates chase your dreams before you leave this world,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: even if it's not tied to your diploma. Because in
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: your dreams, man lies what wakes you up in the
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: middle of the night, which won't let you sleep, what
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you fantasize about, it's all in your imagination. It conjures
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: up thoughts of greatness and wonderment. And never lose sight
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: of that. Man. Don't get so locked and bogged down,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: because what life is is not like college. College is.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: We give you some information. We ask for that information back.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: If you recite it back to us and you have
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a good memory, we're gonna give you a good grade.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Well you in life now that ain't high life work.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Life don't give you the information. Didn't ask for it back.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: They just give you the damn information. Now write your
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: answer down. Yeah, you can't study for it, the dog
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: you can't study for it. We don't. We're gonna test you.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Tom All pages nine three level Now now surprise, good advice.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Steve All ain't coming up. We got more of today's
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: trended stories on the Seve Harvey Morning Show at twenty
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: minutes after the hour you're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Here's some tell me something good news. I love our
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: second God. There you go, Steve, jay Z and Meek Mills.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Reform Alliance is sending ten million surgical mask and other
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: personal protective equipment to prisons across the US. Social distancing
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: obviously is nearly impossible, and without enough masks for protection
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: against the coronavirus, many inmates with underlying conditions fear for
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: their lives. So a huge shout out too. We have
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: to give to Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey because he donated
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: ten million dollars for this project, So shout out to Yeah.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: And speaking of Jack, I'm sorry, go ahead. I wouldn't
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: care if you got one or not. But anyway, it's
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: side voice, outside voice. But anyway, speaking of Twitter CEO
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Jack Dorsey, he just announced that his employees at Twitter
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: now have the option of working from home forever. They
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: had that option, Yes, he said. The Twitter officers are
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: not going to open reopen in September and maybe later on,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and so so far they've made this new way, this
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: new norm of working, so employees can work from home
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: forever if they choose to hold them offices down save
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: some money. Yeah, cool, my ass this money saying well
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: and that way and that way, limit tar your something else.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: When you release people in farm, they ain't dead, all right.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: More of the Seve Harvey Morning Show trend what's the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: silver lining? You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Oprah Winfrey
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: she has reached out to the mother of Ahmad Aubrey
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: and he is the Africana mail jogger who was good
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: down by two men in Georgia. Miss Wanda Cooper Jones
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: said she received a surprise phone call from Oprah on Friday,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: which would have been a Mod's twenty sixth birthday. We
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: talked about that. She told TMZ that Oprah expressed her
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: condolences and said that she was thinking of a MOD
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: on the days that should have been, you know, the
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: day that he was celebrating his birthday. Oprah also said
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: that she was sending her something in the mail but
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: wouldn't say what. So that was really really, really cool.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: You have very nice of Oprah. And then other trending news.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: A Mod's mother who we were just talking about, Miss
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Wanda Cooper. She talked to TMZ yesterday and she wants
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: the death penalty for her son's killers. Take a listen,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: what do you see as justice coming out of this?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: We've heard jay z, Alicia keys Oprah, A lot of
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: people come forward saying that they want to see swift
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: justice here. What do you would your family consider swift justice.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I don't like all hands that were involved to play
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: the part, and my sounds murdered to be prosecuted to
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: the highest It's interesting Georgia has a death penalty. Prosecutors
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: have discretion, uh, depending on circumstances. So with that on
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: the table, is there anything you think is appropriate here?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Coming from the mother's my point of view, my son died,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: so they should die as well. Yeah, if a white
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: man gets life gets a death penalty for killing a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: black man, that would be interesting to see. Yeah, Steve,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: a white man killing a black person and getting death
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: the death penalty. I think it's possible. That's just me
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: looking as too. Yeah, I know, I know, I'm gonna
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: be positive about it. I think it's possible. It seems
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: like it should look cut and dried up. YEA. Yeah.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Ain't it amazing to you over the years, how we
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: look at a video and we see something so evidently clear,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: and when they get it to a jury behind them
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: closed doors, they don't see what we saw. It's alarming,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: It's shockingly alarming. How many times the video tells the story. Yes,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: this video is cut and dry. I am still though, man,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I am still waiting to see other than Chris Cuomo.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I'm waiting to see that famous, powerful non African American
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: step forward and say something about this. Yeah. I mean, look, man,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: we can't keep marching for this alone ourselves because it
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: hasn't worked. Not. The last time marches worked for us
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: was civil rights movement. That was the last time. Then
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: they found a way to negate that. All right, when
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: we come back at forty nine, after the hours, Steve
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Harvey's closing remarks right after this you're listening to all right, guys,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: it is the last break of the day right now.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: It was a good Wednesday week, good morning, Yeah, yeah, hurry,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: same same as flat day, hump and flat. You know
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: what I'd like to Stevie wonder part A part I did? Ye? Hey,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: listen in closing today, let me share something with you. Listen.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I understand that this quarantine lockdown virus affects people on
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: so many levels. Worst case scenario, you've lost a loved
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: one to this thing. I think that's at the apex
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: of the situation. Anytime you lose a loved one, Uh,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's devastating. So I'm not really saying
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: anything to those people. I'm I'm talking to people who
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: are having to grapple with other situations. I mean, but
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: even if you have to grapple with death, you have
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: to come to terms with it. You have to. You
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: have to come to terms with it. However that is
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: for you. I'm not telling you how you should feel.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: The grief is rough. Man ain't no manual for it.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: It's just rough. But for those of us who are
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: dealing with the other side of it, the other areas
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: of it, the loss of employment, the sitting at home,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: the quarantine, the tide of being locked down a quarantine um,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: the having to homeschool your kids, the loss of a
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: job and income. And you don't know how you're gonna
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: see your way through this. Let me give you some help.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: This is a good time to get in touch with God.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: God shows some of his greatest works in the middle
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: of a crisis. He has done some of the most
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: miraculous things for people who are in dire situations. I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: mean dire situations. The Bible is filled with stories of
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: redemption and saving and healing and fulfillment. But there's a
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: modern day story that has a chance to be written
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: here too, And you can be a part of this
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: modern day story writing. But you just have to get
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: in touch with God. You know, people, Steve, God and us,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: why God letting this happening? If God is all his Hey, man, Hey,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I don't have answers for all of that. I know
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that God is the solution to every problem I've ever
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: had when I took it to him. I do know
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: that God never told you that life would be problem free.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: He's never said that. God never told you that life
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: wasn't gonna have his ups and downs, his trials and tribulations.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: If the Bible is full of stories of that. What
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: he did promise you that he would never leave you.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: What he did promise is that you could have a
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: very present help in the time of trouble. What he
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: did promise was to never leave your side. What he
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: did promise you that he would always be there. See,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: faith don't make it easy. Faith makes it possible, but
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: you have got to apply some faith, y'all. You've got
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to have a relationship with God. You don't know what
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: God can do until you allow him to do it.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: But you have to invite him in. You have to
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: ask God to be a part of your life. Now. Look,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I know this is gonna be a little odd for
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: some people because you don't go to him that often.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: And then when you do show up talking to him
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: as always when you want something, to need something, but
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: can let me tell you something. He understands that. He
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: makes a lotment for that. He knows that you are
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: that way. And God is a forgiving God. Every time
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I stayed away from him from periods of time, when
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I came back to him, he had his arms wide
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: open and he accepted me in. He'll do the same
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: thing for you. You don't have to handle this thing
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: by yourself. This don't have to just be a crisis.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: You could be in the middle of a miracle. Some
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: people are going to get new career opportunities out of this.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Now you may be forced into the new career. But
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: some people who have been sick of their jobs. Think
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: of how many people are that's so sick of my job. Well,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: you don't have it anymore. Here's a chance for you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to start to turn over a new leaf, to walk
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: up the hallway and go through another door. Some people
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: are finding out things about their family that they didn't know.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Some people have gotten closer to their children. Some people
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: have came to a whole new awareness of their children. Wow,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I didn't know he thought like that. I didn't know
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: he ran like that. I didn't know he talked like that.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: I didn't know he knew all that. Some people are
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: now developing a new appreciation for school teachers because you
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: at the house having to do it yourself. So now
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: while all them complaining you was doing about them teachers, Well,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: now you understand the daunting tasks they have with a
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: class with twenty five thirty people in it. You catching
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: the blues just with this one, just one, But even
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: that can be a blessing too. You just start appreciating
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: people more. We're all looking at nurses and first respond
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: is totally different. Now, how courageous must have person be
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to strap up in just some fabric and go in
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: there and fight this deadly disease so it don't spread
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: to others? And how many of them have lost their lives.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: That is something in this for all of us. So
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: stop for a minute viewing all of the negativity that's happening.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: And I know it's some stuff that's happening that's negative,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: but if you take a real closer look at it
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: and you put them you put them other colored glasses
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: on with the positive tending. It's a lot of good too.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: I expect a lot of good to come out of this.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: It'll never be the same again. Put some faith in
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: your life, put some God in your life. Let him
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: help you get through it. He's available for everybody. Twenty
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: four seven. Those are my closer remarks. Well, I would say,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: have a great weekend, but just have another good day, y'all.
