- 1:46Speaker 1: The water of the mony up looking. Come come on,
- 1:59Speaker 1: you're uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody. You all listen to the voice. Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 5: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 5: radio show. I thank God for it every day. I
- 2:13Speaker 5: try to remember that too, you know. I try to
- 2:15Speaker 5: remember to be grateful. I think gratitude is one of
- 2:20Speaker 5: the things that helps keep me grounded. You can go
- 2:23Speaker 5: as far as you want in life. If you don't
- 2:25Speaker 5: mind who gets the credit. Well that applies to God too,
- 2:29Speaker 5: don't it. I mean, you know, really, if you don't
- 2:32Speaker 5: mind who gets the credit. I'm surrounded by very competent people.
- 2:38Speaker 5: I'm surrounded by a lot of people who work hard
- 2:41Speaker 5: on their jobs on their career, who are dedicated employees
- 2:47Speaker 5: and also just dedicated to their families and you know,
- 2:51Speaker 5: dedicated to their own set of aspirations. I don't expect
- 2:55Speaker 5: anybody to work for me forever. I always look at
- 2:59Speaker 5: my job opportunities as stepping stones because I want everyone
- 3:04Speaker 5: around me really to aspire to be more. I mean,
- 3:07Speaker 5: that's really the.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Way I am.
- 3:09Speaker 5: I'm not any other way. I'm not trying to hold
- 3:11Speaker 5: you to this position. You know, tell you there's no
- 3:15Speaker 5: room for growth any of that. But even though I'm
- 3:19Speaker 5: surrounded by these people, I'm grateful that God placed them
- 3:25Speaker 5: in my path, in my life. But in my mind,
- 3:33Speaker 5: in my spirit, in everything in me, the credit still
- 3:38Speaker 5: belongs to God. I'm sorry, the credit still belongs to God.
- 3:45Speaker 5: See if you would, just for a moment, stop thinking
- 3:50Speaker 5: about yourself, just for a moment. I know that's hard,
- 3:54Speaker 5: but just for a moment, stop thinking about yourself and
- 3:58Speaker 5: realize that maybe you are who you are because God
- 4:02Speaker 5: is who he is. Maybe that's the case. Have you
- 4:05Speaker 5: ever considered that? That's the strongest possibility I can give
- 4:10Speaker 5: to you? You know, how do you think you the
- 4:14Speaker 5: one that made it through? How you think you the
- 4:17Speaker 5: one after all of the ignorant decisions we have made?
- 4:22Speaker 5: And oh my goodness, let's all be honest. Ain't we
- 4:25Speaker 5: made some crazy decisions. I'm talking about man, I have
- 4:29Speaker 5: made decisions so adverse to my destiny and career, my promises.
- 4:35Speaker 5: I've made some decisions man, knowingly you hear me knowingly
- 4:41Speaker 5: do something wrong, and in spite of all that, I'm
- 4:45Speaker 5: still here standing. Okay, come on now, really, really, all
- 4:50Speaker 5: the dirt you'd bene done, everybody done dirt, all the
- 4:55Speaker 5: mistakes you've made, you in the position you in today
- 5:00Speaker 5: because of what? Because you all that? Because you work
- 5:03Speaker 5: harder than anybody else. Look, I work hard, I'll be
- 5:08Speaker 5: the I'll tell you in a minute. I work hard.
- 5:10Speaker 5: But I don't think I'm the hardest working person out there.
- 5:13Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure somebody done work way harder than I have.
- 5:17Speaker 5: So okay, so you work hard? Okay, cool, I got
- 5:20Speaker 5: all that. But man, what about his grace and his mercy?
- 5:27Speaker 5: What about his favor? How many times, man, you done
- 5:32Speaker 5: relied on that, even when you ain't know you was
- 5:34Speaker 5: relying on it? How many times man, God just shown
- 5:38Speaker 5: you mercy You ain't even deserve it? Do you know
- 5:41Speaker 5: how many things I've done wrong? I just ain't get
- 5:43Speaker 5: caught at it? You know, Let me see how simple
- 5:48Speaker 5: I can be?
- 5:49Speaker 1: You speed, you.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Jaywall, You lie to police when you get pulled over
- 5:56Speaker 5: that you wasn't speeding, you go to court and argue
- 5:59Speaker 5: you wasn't eating when you was. You make u turns.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I'm just doing traffic violations. Now, let's get off traffic
- 6:09Speaker 5: for a second. Let's get on human violations. You talk
- 6:13Speaker 5: about people when you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself
- 6:18Speaker 5: in gossip even when you don't really have all the facts.
- 6:22Speaker 5: You pass judgment, You lust for people that don't belong
- 6:28Speaker 5: to you. You say things to people that you're not
- 6:33Speaker 5: supposed to say. So look, all of us, we all,
- 6:40Speaker 5: we're all guilty.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Now.
- 6:41Speaker 5: See I'm not saying you do all of that, but
- 6:44Speaker 5: I'm saying I'm pretty sure I hit you somewhere in there,
- 6:47Speaker 5: just somewhere in there. You donet lied before, you know
- 6:51Speaker 5: you lied recently. I mean, come on, And I'm just
- 6:54Speaker 5: saying so with all that in mind, See, I'm just
- 6:57Speaker 5: looking at the little things that we do that we
- 6:59Speaker 5: don't get busted for. Not to mention the chips you
- 7:01Speaker 5: stole when you was a kid and nobody caught you.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Well that elevated didn't and some of y'all just didn't
- 7:07Speaker 5: stop stealing, and next thing you know you was in
- 7:10Speaker 5: a car. Now you're sitting somewhere you don't want to
- 7:12Speaker 5: be sitting because of a decision you made. But through
- 7:15Speaker 5: his grace and mercy, couldn't it have been worse?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Though? Without his grace and mercy, could not it.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Have been worse. I know two dudes that got caught
- 7:23Speaker 5: in the garage one time trying to break in somebody's house,
- 7:26Speaker 5: and the person in the house they broke into just
- 7:28Speaker 5: happened to have a gun and held them in the garage,
- 7:33Speaker 5: caught them and held them to the garage to the
- 7:35Speaker 5: police car. That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they
- 7:38Speaker 5: had all full right to shoot these two people, but
- 7:42Speaker 5: they didn't. They're Grace and Mercy. See, all of us
- 7:45Speaker 5: have benefited from his grace and mercy. All of us
- 7:49Speaker 5: have done a wrong, committed a sin, broken the law,
- 7:52Speaker 5: and somehow, through his grace and mercy, got by, doing drugs,
- 7:56Speaker 5: buying drugs, slanging drugs, doing something, got by, jumped on
- 8:00Speaker 5: somebody for no reason, got by, you know, So see
- 8:05Speaker 5: how you figure with all that that can go on
- 8:08Speaker 5: in your life? And then hold on, let me throw
- 8:10Speaker 5: a couple more at you. You can't wake yourself up
- 8:13Speaker 5: in the morning, mister big shot, you don't have the
- 8:18Speaker 5: ability to control the breaths that you take. Really, mister
- 8:23Speaker 5: big shot, really, let's get real basic with it now.
- 8:27Speaker 5: You can't wake yourself up in the morning. That's favor,
- 8:33Speaker 5: that's grace, that's mercy, that's Him allowing you to wake
- 8:39Speaker 5: up just hoping we get it right. You know, God
- 8:43Speaker 5: spared me through all the dirt I was doing just hoping.
- 8:46Speaker 5: One day, man, can you just straighten up a little bit?
- 8:50Speaker 5: When I finally straightened up? And I'm gonna just say it,
- 8:53Speaker 5: straightened up a little bit. See, I ain't straightened up
- 8:55Speaker 5: all the way. Say I ain't gonna sit here and
- 8:57Speaker 5: tell you that I just straightened up a little bit.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Start blessing me. So the more blessings I got start going. Man,
- 9:03Speaker 5: maybe I'll try straighten up a little bit more. So
- 9:05Speaker 5: I straightened up a little bit more. I still got
- 9:07Speaker 5: a long way to go, but I'm straighter than I
- 9:09Speaker 5: was now. When people judging me, and as they will,
- 9:12Speaker 5: and they do, because that ain't right, but they do,
- 9:15Speaker 5: and I ain't walking just the way they walk, then
- 9:17Speaker 5: here come to criticism.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I get it all the time.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Stop wanting credit all the time, and give out some
- 9:23Speaker 5: credit where credit is due instead of having somebody patting
- 9:27Speaker 5: you on your back all the time.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Why don't you tell God, tell people it was.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Really was God, man, that you don't really know how
- 9:33Speaker 5: you made it? That really, man, you have no explanation
- 9:35Speaker 5: for your success, or you have no explanation why you
- 9:38Speaker 5: still exist in today. Why don't you tell somebody it
- 9:41Speaker 5: was God today? Don't be ashamed. It's the truth, ain't it.
- 9:45Speaker 5: I mean, really, man, let's give God some credit here.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Give God the.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Credit and the glory and the honor. And like that
- 9:51Speaker 5: plaque said, you can go as far as you want
- 9:54Speaker 5: in life if you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 9:56Speaker 7: All right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 17:10Speaker 11: when he got when he generally when he leaves the house.
- 17:13Speaker 11: Where together? Where did they meet?

- 41:14Speaker 2: Where Carlo's gonna tell us who has suggested a dress
- 41:17Speaker 2: code for their upcoming concerts? Right after this, you're listening
- 41:21Speaker 2: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, so here's
- 41:28Speaker 2: some music news. So Monica was telling me about this
- 41:31Speaker 2: as well. The Boys Mine tour kicks off with Brandy
- 41:35Speaker 2: and Monica next month in Atlanta. So when you know,
- 41:38Speaker 2: when I said, Monica was telling me, not Monica to
- 41:40Speaker 2: singer of Mississippi Monica.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Monica's around here. But anyway, but get this.
- 41:46Speaker 2: The stars of the show, both Brandy and Monica, have
- 41:50Speaker 2: suggested a dress code for their fans. So they want
- 41:54Speaker 2: women in soups to represent strength, power and unity, which
- 41:59Speaker 2: I'll like. Up So Monica, she stated that formal is
- 42:03Speaker 2: not mandatory, so you know, you don't have to come
- 42:05Speaker 2: in there all formal, but make it you It can
- 42:08Speaker 2: be sneakers, and slacks, shorts and boots, white shirt with
- 42:13Speaker 2: a tie with denim.
- 42:14Speaker 3: You know, do you do you?
- 42:16Speaker 2: They also provided a few photos for inspiration on how
- 42:20Speaker 2: the fans should be dressed. So what do you guys
- 42:23Speaker 2: think about a suggestion dress for the girls? Well, you know,
- 42:29Speaker 2: Monica Brandy, I think Kelly Rowland on some of the dates.
- 42:33Speaker 2: You know, this is like girls' night out tours, so
- 42:37Speaker 2: they are empowering women.
- 42:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:40Speaker 1: And did you see that suit?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Remember that suit that Kelly had on when Kamala Harris
- 42:46Speaker 2: campaign Houston?
- 42:49Speaker 7: That yes, yes, yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 1: So strength, powering unity.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I mean I'm cool with that because I don't want
- 42:57Speaker 2: to wear heels to girls night out concert, you know,
- 43:01Speaker 2: so you could be comfortable and rock your business suit
- 43:04Speaker 2: and rock your look. So my question back to you
- 43:06Speaker 2: guys is what do you think about the suggested dress
- 43:10Speaker 2: code for a concert?
- 43:12Speaker 1: I actually think it's classic. Yeah, okay, I think it'll
- 43:16Speaker 1: be cute.
- 43:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I think it'll be cute. It's different, you know,
- 43:19Speaker 7: you get it's a theme.
- 43:21Speaker 2: You know, you feel like you're a part of the show,
- 43:24Speaker 2: you know, and then when you look around, like if
- 43:26Speaker 2: the camera is panned the audience, it's gonna look good.
- 43:29Speaker 7: It's gonna get a look.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:32Speaker 7: So, yeah, it's cute. I'm not mad at that. I'm
- 43:36Speaker 7: not okay.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I've been a some concert.
- 43:40Speaker 14: They had.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I wish they had a dress code. This is just rated.
- 43:44Speaker 1: This is rated. This rated.
- 43:51Speaker 7: Too many booties out?
- 43:53Speaker 1: Is that a whole seed? Throughout?
- 43:55Speaker 7: They're out, they're.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Out, Brandy, Monica and Kelly. You know, they're they're grown women.
- 44:03Speaker 2: They up in the industry. They're all fly. Their mothers,
- 44:07Speaker 2: all three of them are mothers.
- 44:09Speaker 6: You know.
- 44:10Speaker 2: They are aging well, still singing, got a here tan base.
- 44:14Speaker 2: So they say, you know, come in here, let's let's
- 44:16Speaker 2: let's get flying with it. So okay, fellas, would y'all
- 44:19Speaker 2: have a dress code at a comedy show, at the concert?
- 44:22Speaker 2: Would y'all make it, you know, mandatory that people wear
- 44:25Speaker 2: certain things to come and see that.
- 44:27Speaker 1: No, we want you as ignorant as you can.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Be with me.
- 44:31Speaker 7: We need some dress ignorant.
- 44:33Speaker 1: We see, we got something to talk about. So you
- 44:36Speaker 1: can help what they have on.
- 44:39Speaker 9: Especially you want to you were some crazy and want
- 44:41Speaker 9: to sit on the front road too. I'm gonna have
- 44:43Speaker 9: to say something. No, you want that, you don't want
- 44:48Speaker 9: a dress code for that? Okay, so the girls, I
- 44:51Speaker 9: get it, I get it.
- 44:52Speaker 8: But over here, women in a stand up world, when
- 44:54Speaker 8: you come to the comic glove or an arena for comedy,
- 44:58Speaker 8: just where what you think is good, we gonna take
- 45:00Speaker 8: care of rest.
- 45:01Speaker 7: Okay, all right, you see what their taste is.
- 45:03Speaker 9: Yeah, and then you know, when I'm performing with Jodysy
- 45:06Speaker 9: sometimes you know, we wear leather all the time.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Wow. What when I'm performing with Jodasy, we wear leather.
- 45:12Speaker 8: You know this leather and when you and when you
- 45:15Speaker 8: wake up, you in the bed with all this leadreaming.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, no, no, tell me, I'm saying. Only
- 45:20Speaker 1: prime is though. We cannot do this leather in the
- 45:22Speaker 1: summer we be sweating.
- 45:24Speaker 15: Yeah yeah, but you don't do winter concerts with them,
- 45:27Speaker 15: do you? Because you know no, I can't go with all.
- 45:31Speaker 15: I can't go up north with them. Once they get
- 45:33Speaker 15: past Virginia, that's it. I can't go up there. I
- 45:38Speaker 15: can't go past Virginia on Monday. Start talking about Keepsie,
- 45:41Speaker 15: New York, all that New York city. I can't go
- 45:45Speaker 15: that Canadian.

- 52:59Speaker 14: I didn't.
- 53:00Speaker 6: Okay, he was talking to me. But do you know
- 53:02Speaker 6: who I am? No?
- 53:03Speaker 14: I don't and I don't really care.
- 53:06Speaker 6: But do you know Tommy at all?
- 53:09Speaker 14: Do I know Tommy?
- 53:10Speaker 6: No? Do you know tom No? Okay, do you know

- 54:56Speaker 8: my wife is listening, we haven't made any noise in
- 54:59Speaker 8: so long to start out.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Boom oh, but.
- 55:03Speaker 7: Think he thinks we're closer than we are.
- 55:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Made some no.
- 55:11Speaker 7: Yesterday.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Hi, she made me be quiet. She made me be quiet.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Of the dog in the room. Why is the dog
- 55:18Speaker 1: in here? Chopper at the dog's house? I can I
- 55:25Speaker 1: can holler in my room.

- 55:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 55:30Speaker 2: Coming up next, it's the Strawberry Letter and the subject

- 56:45Speaker 1: a Strawberry letter. Thank you for you.
- 56:49Speaker 7: Subject. I didn't mean what I said, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:52Speaker 2: My husband and I have been married for eight years
- 56:54Speaker 2: and we've known each other fifteen years. We have been
- 56:58Speaker 2: through ups and downs like those couples, but when we argue,
- 57:02Speaker 2: it's because of something that my husband has remembered from
- 57:05Speaker 2: the past. I won't say he's insecure, but he's always
- 57:09Speaker 2: worried about me leaving him for my ex boyfriend or
- 57:12Speaker 2: this female I pooled around with one time when we
- 57:15Speaker 2: were separated. I guess it's my fault for him thinking
- 57:18Speaker 2: I would leave him, Because when I get mad, I
- 57:21Speaker 2: say a lot of things I do not mean. I
- 57:24Speaker 2: want to hurt him and win the argument. I always
- 57:27Speaker 2: have to fix it for days after we've made up.
- 57:30Speaker 2: The last fight we had is a lot different because
- 57:32Speaker 2: I was still mad days later, and he overheard me
- 57:36Speaker 2: on the phone with the woman I used to fool
- 57:38Speaker 2: around with. I told her that my husband is mediocre
- 57:41Speaker 2: and dead and she has way better skills than he does.
- 57:45Speaker 7: I told her that my ex boyfriend has been.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Begging for me to meet up with him at a
- 57:49Speaker 2: hotel huh by his house, and I was thinking about
- 57:54Speaker 2: going because he has a lot more stamina than my
- 57:57Speaker 2: husband does. I wasn't paying attention to the camera that
- 58:00Speaker 2: we have on the front porch, or the fact that
- 58:03Speaker 2: it has a microphone on it. My husband was in
- 58:06Speaker 2: the house and heard the entire conversation. Conversation Yeah, I
- 58:13Speaker 2: continue to sit on the porch after my call, and
- 58:16Speaker 2: he talked through the camera to tell me to come inside.
- 58:20Speaker 2: I tried to tell him that I was still upset
- 58:21Speaker 2: and I didn't mean anything I said, but there was
- 58:24Speaker 2: no way to fix it. I really don't think my
- 58:27Speaker 2: side chick has better skills than him. I was talking
- 58:30Speaker 2: bs because I was still salty with him. I've never
- 58:35Speaker 2: cheated on him unless we were separated, so I need
- 58:39Speaker 2: him to believe that it wasn't serious. I wasn't serious.
- 58:43Speaker 2: How do I get my husband to trust me again?
- 58:45Speaker 2: Please help.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Wow.
- 58:48Speaker 7: Hm.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Trust is a hard thing and this is just not
- 58:53Speaker 2: cool what you're doing. Okay, you really, really you need
- 58:57Speaker 2: to grow up. I mean you're very immature. Words hurt,
- 59:01Speaker 2: words lead to actions. That's why your husband is upset.
- 59:05Speaker 2: He thinks, you know because you said it, you did it,
- 59:08Speaker 2: and you need to stop saying stupid stuff that you
- 59:11Speaker 2: don't mean.
- 59:12Speaker 7: You can't take any of that stuff back. You can't
- 59:14Speaker 7: take it back period.
- 59:16Speaker 2: It's common sense that if it's the only thing you
- 59:20Speaker 2: guys argue about, this is what you say. According to you,
- 59:23Speaker 2: is what you've said in the past, that you should
- 59:26Speaker 2: stop talking. Your husband is not insecure, but like most men,
- 59:30Speaker 2: he's got an ego, a fragile ego, and no man
- 59:33Speaker 2: wants to hear that someone else has better skills than
- 59:37Speaker 2: him or more stamina than him.
- 59:39Speaker 1: What is wrong with you?
- 59:41Speaker 7: You really need to stop this.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I mean, even if you say you haven't cheated, he's
- 59:45Speaker 2: not gonna believe you because he heard what you said,
- 59:48Speaker 2: he heard it coming out of your mouth. You're playing
- 59:51Speaker 2: a dangerous game here with your husband, with your marriage,
- 59:53Speaker 2: all of that trust.
- 59:55Speaker 7: That's a big thing in marriage, a very very important thing.
- 59:59Speaker 7: Once it's it's.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Really really hard to get back, if ever, if at all.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: But your husband is still here. He's still there with you,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: so maybe there's a chance. So you got to stop
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: playing with this feelings. You've got to grow up. You're
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: hitting way below the belt. If you don't stop this
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: and work on fixing your marriage and trying to get
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: your husband to come back around. And these are things
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: that you've broken, you're gonna lose him.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: You really are, Steve.
- 1:00:26Speaker 16: Wow, this is really one of the more ignorant letters
- 1:00:32Speaker 16: we've had in a while, and we've had some ignorance.
- 1:00:35Speaker 16: The subject is I didn't mean what I said. The
- 1:00:38Speaker 16: problem is he heard you. This is your whole problem.
- 1:00:44Speaker 16: This whole thing is her. You know, I don't even know.
- 1:00:49Speaker 16: I don't even know how this dude still here. This
- 1:00:52Speaker 16: is one of the worst. Look, y'all been married eight years.
- 1:00:56Speaker 16: Y'all known each other fifteen, she said, we've been through
- 1:01:00Speaker 16: ups and downs like most couples. But when we argued,
- 1:01:03Speaker 16: see now this ain't like most couples. Now nothing not
- 1:01:06Speaker 16: reading this letters like most couples. I want to tell
- 1:01:09Speaker 16: you this right now, this is rare. But when we
- 1:01:14Speaker 16: augur it's because of something that my husband has remembered
- 1:01:18Speaker 16: from the past. And I won't say he's insecure, but
- 1:01:22Speaker 16: he's always worried about me leaving him.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Now why was he worried about him leaving him? Guess
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: what she says for my ex boyfriend? All this female
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: I fool around with one time we was separated. Now,
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: let's just deal with that part right here. Your husband
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: has an awful lot to wear. Anybody what he looking at,
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: what's she looking at? What you're looking at him? Fault?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: What you're looking at her fault.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: Everybody walked by is a potential threat. She can't even
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: really relax. If a guy walked by, that's a threat.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: If a woman walk by, that's a threat. Girl, girl,
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: you you too much see And and she did.
- 1:02:17Speaker 16: She said, I guess it's my fault for him thinking
- 1:02:20Speaker 16: I would leave him, because when I get mad, I
- 1:02:22Speaker 16: say a lot of things I do not mean I.
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: Want to hurt him and win the argument.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Are you stupid? Hurting? Don't mean you win?
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: What is y'all?
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: Y'all having argument trying to one up each other. Listen
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: when you argue with your wife this, this ain't cracking
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: or the joneses.
- 1:02:41Speaker 16: Your mama so fat. Your mama so fat? She she
- 1:02:44Speaker 16: need a belt on the size of the equator. Well,
- 1:02:47Speaker 16: your mama so fat?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: That is what this is.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: Are y'all arguing to one up each other.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: That's not winning an argument?
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: All right, Hold on, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: Subject of today strawberry letter. I didn't mean what I said.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Morning Show, it's time.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: To level up your audio game and explore LG's lineup
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: of x boom portable speakers. We're talking ultra doable speakers
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: with better life that powers your hustle. Plus, all the
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: speakers are order resistant, so you can listen and vibe
- 1:03:31Speaker 9: out worry free.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: But here's the real flex. For a limited time, LG
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: is offering you twenty.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: Five percent off of x boom Grab or x Boom
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: Bounce on LG dot com. Use the code fall twenty
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: five at checkout and tell them Junior sent you. The
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: future of sound is now with LG X boom.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: The subject I didn't mean what I said.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I didn't mean it. Well what you saying it for?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Because y'all are the life fools.
- 1:03:59Speaker 16: First of all, you've been together for fifteen years, but
- 1:04:02Speaker 16: you think your man is insecure because he's afraid you're
- 1:04:05Speaker 16: gonna leave him for your ex boyfriend.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: All a female you fooled around with when y'all are separating,
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: who Who's just a lot to worry about it?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: He can he can't get the man. He can't.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: I'm going out with the girls for happy hour, happy
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: hour with the with the what with who?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: See?
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: He ain't gotta worry about who's gonna be down there?
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: All he gotta worry about it is people are gonna
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: be down there.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Listen, some people.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: See most people we gotta worry about who are all
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: gonna be down there?
- 1:04:43Speaker 16: And the dude wait to hear some other dudes names
- 1:04:47Speaker 16: or woman? Wait to hear some women name. When you
- 1:04:50Speaker 16: say you're going to have it our your first question
- 1:04:53Speaker 16: is is people gonna be there? Because you're everybody? And
- 1:05:02Speaker 16: then I guess it's my fault for him thinking I
- 1:05:04Speaker 16: would leave him. When I get mad because I say
- 1:05:06Speaker 16: a lot of things I don't mean because I want
- 1:05:07Speaker 16: to hurt him and win the argument.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: Hurting a person is how you win an argument. No,
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: you gotta stop thinking of winning an argument and thinking
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: about suddenly an argument.
- 1:05:22Speaker 16: If you're arguing to win, you're not going to do that,
- 1:05:26Speaker 16: So now and then you always got to fix it.
- 1:05:29Speaker 16: For days after we'd been made up in the last fight,
- 1:05:32Speaker 16: we had a lot of which was a lot different
- 1:05:34Speaker 16: because I was still mad days later, and he overheard
- 1:05:37Speaker 16: me on the.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Phone with the woman.
- 1:05:42Speaker 16: I used to fool around when I told her on
- 1:05:45Speaker 16: the phone that my husband is mediocre in bed and
- 1:05:49Speaker 16: she got way better skills than he do.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: And he heard this with the woman you used to
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: fool around.
- 1:05:59Speaker 14: He heard that.
- 1:06:02Speaker 16: That ain't insecurity. That's not insecure. That ain't that's he
- 1:06:07Speaker 16: hurt it. That's a blatant statement. And you wasn't trying
- 1:06:11Speaker 16: to hurt him because you was talking about him without
- 1:06:14Speaker 16: his knowledge.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: So now this ain't how you win.
- 1:06:17Speaker 16: This argument because you talking about the man behind his back.
- 1:06:21Speaker 16: So you can't say that you was trying to win
- 1:06:23Speaker 16: an argument by hurting him. You wasn't even talking to you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 16: Then I told her that my ex boyfriend been begging
- 1:06:33Speaker 16: me to meet up with him at a hotel by
- 1:06:35Speaker 16: his house, and I was thinking about going because he
- 1:06:38Speaker 16: got a lot more stamina than my husband do.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Now, wait a minute, this man is here in the feeling.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: First of all, he ain't got no skills. Now, he
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: ain't got no.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Stamping sta what is he?
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: Man wants to hear that?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Why is he here? See?
- 1:06:54Speaker 16: And then once again, you're talking to you so far
- 1:06:56Speaker 16: on this lad, I don't even know why you still
- 1:06:58Speaker 16: calling me your hugs you right now this and so
- 1:07:02Speaker 16: I wasn't paying attention to the camera that we got
- 1:07:04Speaker 16: on front porch, and he got microphone on him.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: My husbands in the house heard the.
- 1:07:07Speaker 16: Entire come say. I sat on the porch after the call.
- 1:07:10Speaker 16: He talked to the camera told me to come inside.
- 1:07:13Speaker 16: I tried to tell him I was still upset and
- 1:07:14Speaker 16: didn't mean anything I said, but there was no way
- 1:07:17Speaker 16: to fix I really don't think my side chick has
- 1:07:20Speaker 16: better skills than him.
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: Are you listening to what You're right? You're so stupid,
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: you height stupid. I see not only did you say
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: stupid stuff, oh stupid stuff, you height stupid stuff. Yeah,
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: you actually said I don't think my side chick has
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: better skills than him.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: What let have it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 16: I've never cheated on him unless we were separated. What
- 1:07:56Speaker 16: you just y'all wasn't separated when you was in here
- 1:08:00Speaker 16: telling your girlfriend that she had better skills and your
- 1:08:04Speaker 16: ex boyfriend that you was talking about to your side
- 1:08:07Speaker 16: chick because she don't care, because all y'all do everything.
- 1:08:10Speaker 16: And I was talking to bes because I was still
- 1:08:13Speaker 16: salty with him. Uh so I need I need him
- 1:08:17Speaker 16: to believe that I wasn't serious. How do I get
- 1:08:20Speaker 16: my husband to trust me again?
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Please help?
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: Question number one? How is he still your husband?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: See?
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: I'm stuck with just him because you not my wife,
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: because you belong to too many people. You the other woman,
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: You got a side chick cheating with you, you got
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: a boyfriend.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be real. This is one.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: This is a this ain't no marriage trade and quit
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: asking us fixed though, that's unfixable.
- 1:08:53Speaker 16: Y'all need bish jakeson somebody like this because I ain't
- 1:08:55Speaker 16: got nothing for I don't know, just too many people.
- 1:09:00Speaker 16: Ooh lord, he come to waitress. Here, come to make trix,
- 1:09:04Speaker 16: He come to wait Oh the dish washer, Oh the
- 1:09:07Speaker 16: bus boy, Oh look at that, Oh look at this girl?
- 1:09:10Speaker 16: Over here sitting Who was this man just rubbed up
- 1:09:14Speaker 16: against me? It's just two many people live here. I'm confused,
- 1:09:17Speaker 16: I'm hot, I'm all this here. It's just too much
- 1:09:20Speaker 16: going on. Child, I can't even eat. Everybody in here

- 1:12:02Speaker 9: the Aces and the Fever. Were gonna find who's which
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: one of those teams going up. But the Phoenix market

- 1:12:27Speaker 9: you know I ain't mad, Mike. You know they didn't
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: you know how you want to look at it.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: The game ended forty to forty. I was like battle.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: It was a battle. I ain't no cowboy fan at all,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: but my wife.
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: And one junior. My wife and the cowboy faver. She
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: was standing up in the bed like she had money
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: on the game.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: She had money, standing straight up in the bed with
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a bonnet on. I said, can want you sit your
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: butt down? Is getting good skinning good, it's getting good bow.
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: It was a great game, man, because you know, they
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: always talk about players coming back to their former team,
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: and Michael was hyped to be back in because you know,
- 1:13:11Speaker 9: when you get done.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Jerry Jones was the owner. You know, he has a
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: lot to do with that. Jerry Jones the owner.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: He said, you know, hey, we had let him go.
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: We wish him the best, just not when he played
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: the cowboy. Well, Mike came back there with attitude anyway, So.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: He came back in.
- 1:13:28Speaker 15: He said, looking good. Yeah, but I don't I don't
- 1:13:33Speaker 15: like the fact that, you know, it's a tie.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: What we tying?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Folk? Why I got muscles and we tied? They couldn't
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: go off. Didn't call it the referee they call it.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: Great, thank you for sports Talk.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Coming up at the top of the hour, a young
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: woman wants to know why her dad ended her relationship.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, this is
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: from Lamandi in Arlington. Lamandi says, I went to a
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: singles mixer and I met a man that was married.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: We dated for a few months before I found out
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: his wife tried to publicly humiliate me in our social
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: media circle. So I had to expose him for being
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: at a mixer for singles. That backfired on me too.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: How does he get a pass for being a cheater?
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: He knew he was married, but I didn't. Will I
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: ever get past this or will I forever be considered
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: as a home wrecker?
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Ooh, you got the bad end of the deal, didn't you.
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Good, not good? Yeah he didn't know.
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: Yeah, you know what, Sometimes you know, if it's out
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: there like there and his wife had to go that way,
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: maybe you gotta maybe you gotta fight back. Get on
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: social media, explain exactly what happened so people can see
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: your side of the story, because right now you look
- 1:14:58Speaker 8: like the and that's a quote unquote long records. I
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: wouldn't I would put it on since they got it
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: out there, I would put it all the way out there.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: What she did was that a singles mixer? He married?
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Don't nobody know it? All right, I'm thinking everybody in
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: the room single. So what I do wrong? Show me
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: where I'm wrong?
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she she did expose him for being at a
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: mixer for singles, but it backfired on her too.
- 1:15:25Speaker 7: That's the double standard, all blaming a woman, always blaming
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: the woman, always blaming the woman.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: She didn't even know.
- 1:15:33Speaker 7: So, yeah, didn't junior?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Well this is like a pure case of
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: just mind your own business? Why why do you he
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: don't want to be married? The most sound like to
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: me he had to sing that he don't want his wife.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: No more clearly. If I didn't want my wife, I'll
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: be in a singles mixer. I don't see the problem here,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: matter of facts. Go ask why I'm married. I'm in
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: here because I'm looking for somebody else.
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: Tommy, you be quiet.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: When is the next mixing?
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: We could just go and see and see see, Just
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: like buy a new car, you gotta go shop around.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: All right, guys, we have time for another one. We're
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: just gonna left that to stay right there. This is
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: from Shaye and Little Rock. She says, my boyfriend and
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I enjoy threesomes. He wants to get married, so I've
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: asked him if we should stop the threesomes. He said,
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: he does not think our marriage will survive without them.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: It was just a phase we were going through. Am
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I not enough for this man?
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: For life? It's for life.
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:16:47Speaker 8: What I've heard is once you once you start, it
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: is what it is. It does not stop. So however
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: you start, that's really how it's gonna That's how a relationship.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: Don't carry out that.
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: He doesn't think the marriage will survive to.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Put it even to put it in the buyouse surely.
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: Yeah, well how is that gonna go?
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: What is that?
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Shall have? Shall have?
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: In sickness and in health? For Richard before.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Wow, that is crazy?
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: He said, the marriage won't survive without threesome. You're going
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: into it with a problem if you don't want it anymore,
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: I know. And she needs to run, she needs to run.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys, all right, that's why we like honesty.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: See there. Yeah, well, if you don't pick up Tiffany
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: on your way home, I'm telling you we're gonna have
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I know, I know, it's the problem.
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: I know one of these two people is ugly because
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: they need another third person somebody.
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: Are you speaking as a former ugly person?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sexy now till me let me in. So yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you got to have three people. You need somebody else, somebody.
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: Validation now wow?
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, somebody's unattracted because is she more than enough?
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: I think it's her if is you more than enough?
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: Clearly not because it's got to be a threesome.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: But you know what, these got to be young people.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: You're thinking like that, you won't two people.
- 1:18:32Speaker 17: I ain't no way I can have another person in
- 1:18:34Speaker 17: my house. I'm sorry, I can't one well do that? Yeah, yeah,
