- 2:09Speaker 1: oh Man, got a radio show got going for you today.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And it just happened to me. You know, I was
- 2:15Speaker 1: going through something that I've been going through for a
- 2:18Speaker 1: long long time and just weary of it all, and
- 2:21Speaker 1: I was I've been talking to God about it, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: I mean for years. Though. What happened was I had
- 2:29Speaker 1: had to go through some more of it yesterday again
- 2:32Speaker 1: in a situation. But you know what, after it was over,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know, I kind of laid in it for a
- 2:37Speaker 1: little while. You know, how you've been going through something
- 2:40Speaker 1: for so long and then even if it's over, appears
- 2:42Speaker 1: to be over, you still kind of lay in it
- 2:45Speaker 1: a little bit, and you know you have a while. Man,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I can't believe I've been dealing with this this long,
- 2:50Speaker 1: even though even though it was over. I don't know
- 2:53Speaker 1: how you do it, but this was so good for me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Have you ever counted, Steve Harvey, how many times you
- 3:00Speaker 1: made it? And so that's what I started doing yesterday,
- 3:04Speaker 1: And that's what I did this morning. When I woke up.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I was actually taking an inventory account of how many
- 3:11Speaker 1: times I made it? How many times, man, I didn't
- 3:15Speaker 1: have it rent and somehow I came up with it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: How many times I didn't have my house payment and
- 3:20Speaker 1: somehow I came up with it. How many times I
- 3:24Speaker 1: was out of money, did not have enough, didn't didn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: see no way, but somehow I came up with it.
- 3:31Speaker 1: How many times I got sick, thought, well, man, this
- 3:34Speaker 1: one right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 3:42Speaker 1: I have found myself in that was I thought at
- 3:46Speaker 1: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times,
- 3:53Speaker 1: somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 3:57Speaker 1: I've been in, but he kept me. I made it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think about even the simplest times of like stepping
- 4:03Speaker 1: off a curve and almost got hit, but I made it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I was just tripping the other day. I was I
- 4:09Speaker 1: was thinking about the times that I've been hit by
- 4:12Speaker 1: a car and it could have been worse, but it wasn't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And I made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:18Speaker 1: when they count you out, do you know how many
- 4:21Speaker 1: times I've been counted out? He's done? He ain't gonna
- 4:25Speaker 1: be nothing, He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all,
- 4:29Speaker 1: look at over that they counsel this. He offered that
- 4:32Speaker 1: he out of here. He ain't gonna make it. He
- 4:34Speaker 1: didn't got fired. Man, You know how many times I've
- 4:37Speaker 1: been counted out? You know how many times they didn't
- 4:39Speaker 1: wrote me off? How many times have you been written off? Man?
- 4:42Speaker 1: But here you still stand? You know you've a tripped
- 4:44Speaker 1: on it. Taking inventory y'all of how many times? Count
- 4:50Speaker 1: the times you've made it? What about the times man,
- 4:52Speaker 1: when nobody was there to encourage you, but you still
- 4:56Speaker 1: here though you've tripped on that, ain't nobody called and
- 5:00Speaker 1: told you good day? No? Nobody called you and told
- 5:02Speaker 1: you recently, thank you. No one's called you and told
- 5:04Speaker 1: you how much you meant to them, how much you've
- 5:06Speaker 1: done for them. A man, that you can make it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Never give up. Keep your head up, man, keep grinding.
- 5:11Speaker 1: But you still here, even when nobody have you counted
- 5:14Speaker 1: the times man, that you made it anyway. You counted
- 5:20Speaker 1: the times that you felt like quitting, you felt like
- 5:23Speaker 1: giving up, you kept going. How about the time this
- 5:27Speaker 1: is a good one right here? How about the times man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: when everybody's standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't no way. Man.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I can't tell how many times I've heard this, ain't
- 5:35Speaker 1: no way, and then somehow there is a way. You
- 5:40Speaker 1: know why, because he make a way. You understand. You
- 5:44Speaker 1: know how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 1: listen to me, man, Nobody ever before hasn't done that.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You can't do that. How many times you'd heard no,
- 5:54Speaker 1: you aren't you know anybody didn't done that? You can't
- 5:58Speaker 1: do that. No one has ever done that. I made
- 6:01Speaker 1: it anyway. You know they don't normally or we don't
- 6:09Speaker 1: normally allow this, but in this case, for you, we
- 6:15Speaker 1: gonna make an exception. How many times have you heard that? Oh,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I think I'm on to something? How many times have
- 6:22Speaker 1: you heard in your lifetime? We don't normally or they
- 6:27Speaker 1: don't normally allow this, but we gonna make this exception
- 6:31Speaker 1: in your case. How many times you didn't heard that?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Have you ever counted the times that you made it?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Everybody out accept me? Oh? How can that be? You
- 6:47Speaker 1: know you're the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow? Man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 6:58Speaker 1: to people? But man, and y'all don't know how your
- 7:01Speaker 1: name came up, but here you are. Wow, it never
- 7:04Speaker 1: happens like that. You ever counted those times I was
- 7:07Speaker 1: doing it yesterday? I was doing it this morning. I
- 7:10Speaker 1: was just taking an inventory of everybody of how many
- 7:13Speaker 1: times I've made it. So what I learned yesterday was
- 7:18Speaker 1: when God get you through something, when he pulled you
- 7:21Speaker 1: out on the other side, no matter how difficult or
- 7:25Speaker 1: how long it took. When He gets you out on
- 7:27Speaker 1: the other side, why don't you get up, dust yourself off,
- 7:31Speaker 1: and start trotting what you laying there for? Man? Wallowing
- 7:36Speaker 1: in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 7:45Speaker 1: stuff in our mind when clearly it's time to move on.
- 7:52Speaker 1: It's time to let go. It's time to go and
- 7:55Speaker 1: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 7:59Speaker 1: you lost. What you lost was probably not yours to
- 8:04Speaker 1: have in the first in the first place. Do you
- 8:12Speaker 1: know the things I've lost? I'm not talking about losing
- 8:16Speaker 1: the love one, or mother or father, nothing like that.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know
- 8:23Speaker 1: the things I've lost? Man, I look back on it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I wasn't supposed to have him in the first place,
- 8:27Speaker 1: or they was doing me no good? An what wasn't
- 8:30Speaker 1: mine to lose? But I claimed I lost it? Come on, man,
- 8:33Speaker 1: taking inventory, everybody. Start looking at the things man, that
- 8:37Speaker 1: God has brought you through. Start looking at how many
- 8:39Speaker 1: times He allowed you to make it. And get glad
- 8:42Speaker 1: about waking up in the morning. Man, Get glad about
- 8:44Speaker 1: your life. Start feeling something positive about your situation. You
- 8:48Speaker 1: cannot expect God to continue to bless you if you're
- 8:52Speaker 1: not grateful for the things that you have. Why would
- 8:55Speaker 1: God sitting down here looking at you upset ain't greed.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Laying in the waller of what you are not grateful for.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You just can't find the see find no gratitude in
- 9:09Speaker 1: your heart about nothing, but you steady asking God for something.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So now you think God is crazy. You think he
- 9:14Speaker 1: gonna give you some most stuff to not be grateful for.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Why would he do that? He's
- 9:21Speaker 1: too full of too much mercy to send you through that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Over and over and over. The more I give my child,
- 9:27Speaker 1: the more ungrateful they are, the less gratitude they show.
- 9:30Speaker 1: But I'm gonna keep dumping it on them so they
- 9:32Speaker 1: can keep feeling ungrateful and show like a gratitude. God's
- 9:36Speaker 1: not gonna do that to you. Come on, man, have
- 9:39Speaker 1: you ever counted how many times you made it? I
- 9:45Speaker 1: can't count how many times God didn't gotten me through something.
- 9:48Speaker 1: But when He gets you through it, you can't get
- 9:50Speaker 1: up and get on about your business. Don't lay that
- 9:53Speaker 1: in it. It's over, it's done, you made it, you
- 9:55Speaker 1: survived it. Let's go. Let's go. You're listening to morning show,
- 10:03Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. It is upon us to Steve Harvey
- 10:05Speaker 1: Morning show is here. Surprisingly, Yeah, let's just be grateful.
- 10:12Speaker 1: If you woke up this morning like I did on
- 10:14Speaker 1: the frustrated side of the bed, get off of that
- 10:17Speaker 1: side because it ain't gonna work. Just get back, start over.
- 10:21Speaker 1: They ain't no need of being frustrated. Nothing you can
- 10:24Speaker 1: do about it. It's called life. Things happen. Let's move on,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Let's move forward sometimes, Steve Harvey, you have to take
- 10:32Speaker 1: your own advice. It ain't bout you all the time.
- 10:37Speaker 1: What it's you need a wife to remind you of that?
- 10:43Speaker 1: It ain't vouch you all the time. This ain't the
- 10:46Speaker 1: judge shower. Yeah this morning, this ain't the Judge show.
- 10:56Speaker 1: In my mind, my catchy ass come backward. That's what
- 11:00Speaker 1: the hell you think. But you didn't say it, though
- 11:03Speaker 1: I'm saying hell, no say that. Say gentlemen, Shirley Strawberry,
- 11:11Speaker 1: callin for real, Mississippi Monica or junior kids bake and
- 11:15Speaker 1: nephew Tommy juniors on your mind. Let's stay around there.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You know, just because you frustrate this morning, how many
- 11:23Speaker 1: things have you wanted to say to your wife that
- 11:24Speaker 1: you can't say? You have a list of statements that
- 11:26Speaker 1: you keep in your mind. See right there and see
- 11:29Speaker 1: for you you to make that question obviously, because you
- 11:34Speaker 1: don't have a wife. Okay, you don't have a wife
- 11:37Speaker 1: that got friends that listen to the show, that could
- 11:40Speaker 1: go back and go got out. Was on my way
- 11:42Speaker 1: in this morning that your up is so crazy, he said,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you get on his last Damn. Oh he said that
- 11:54Speaker 1: right after I told him this wasn't a Judge show.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Oh theyn't here on the radio talk talking about it. Yeah, see, Junior.
- 12:02Speaker 1: The reason I'm a little smarter than that because I've
- 12:04Speaker 1: benefit for a while and I know not to let
- 12:07Speaker 1: somebody who ain't in this tell me how to be
- 12:11Speaker 1: in this. And you're not in this, so you're not
- 12:15Speaker 1: fitting to get me in this. See, that's what happens
- 12:21Speaker 1: when you're single. You ain't ever thinking. Really, I didn't
- 12:29Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, yeah, you ain't ever thinking sitting and
- 12:32Speaker 1: then and then the other thing that your parents lay
- 12:34Speaker 1: on you, that's what you get for thinking right. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: then the other one I used to get was who
- 12:41Speaker 1: asked you to think? Right? Mama? I thought, well, who
- 12:48Speaker 1: asked you to think? I'm over this mindless ass idiot here.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You keep telling me to get good grades. Now you
- 12:59Speaker 1: don't want me to think? Make your mind up. You
- 13:02Speaker 1: didn't say that either, though. Oh yeah, to my mama,
- 13:07Speaker 1: you see these teeth, yea if my mama. My mama
- 13:12Speaker 1: slapped me so hard one time. She said, I'm gonna
- 13:15Speaker 1: slap you so hard you ain't gonna be able to
- 13:18Speaker 1: get dnches. And you know when you ate, you don't
- 13:21Speaker 1: really know what dnches are. I just knew it was
- 13:25Speaker 1: gonna be a really hard slap, so I avoided that
- 13:27Speaker 1: slap mind time. Like, man, thank you see what you started, junior,
- 13:34Speaker 1: mister single, I ain't got no damn by that coming
- 13:40Speaker 1: up with thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll run
- 13:42Speaker 1: that prank back with the nephew right after this. You're
- 13:45Speaker 1: listening morning show right now, it's time for the nephew
- 13:49Speaker 1: to run that prank back. I want to date your mama.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Well do you man? Run it? Hello? Hello, I'm trying
- 13:58Speaker 1: to reach I'm trying to reach Burns. This is James.
- 14:01Speaker 1: This is her son. How you doing man? My name
- 14:03Speaker 1: is Gordon. Gordon just recently joined the church man within
- 14:07Speaker 1: the last month, and I was trying to get in
- 14:09Speaker 1: touch with with miss Byrne. One of the members gave
- 14:11Speaker 1: me a number, but I guess they they must have
- 14:13Speaker 1: gave me the wrong number. I guess it's is this
- 14:15Speaker 1: a home number or what? Is this a hold of hell? Who? Who?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Who is this again? My name is Gordon Gordon. I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: a new member at the church. Yeah, this is just
- 14:26Speaker 1: your number. Yeah, man, this is my phone number. I'm James,
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm my son. Oh that's your mom. Okay, that's your mother? Right?
- 14:32Speaker 1: All right? Well yeah, my bad man. I was trying
- 14:33Speaker 1: to get in touch with miss Burns. Now is did
- 14:35Speaker 1: you have a sale or home number somewhere I can
- 14:38Speaker 1: get in touch with Miss Burns? Wait to time, time
- 14:41Speaker 1: tell you your name is what Gordon Gordon Gordon? I
- 14:45Speaker 1: just joined the church, man, so I might not have
- 14:47Speaker 1: met you yet. James. Okay, well, God bless you man,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Thank you man. I appreciate it. Is it anyway I
- 14:52Speaker 1: could get your mom's home number from. I mean, you're
- 14:57Speaker 1: just joined the church. I mean I don't I don't
- 14:59Speaker 1: see why you wouldn't be able to talk to it.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I mean, is there anything there a message I could
- 15:03Speaker 1: pass on to it? Though? Uh? Well yeah, I mean
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to see if it's all right for for
- 15:10Speaker 1: me to take her out. I've been seeing them for
- 15:13Speaker 1: the last. Hold up, Hold up, Hold up, hold hold
- 15:17Speaker 1: tell about you. You were just into you a new
- 15:18Speaker 1: member to the church, and somebody gave you, or they
- 15:24Speaker 1: were attempting to give you. My mother's a number, and
- 15:26Speaker 1: you're asking me if you could take her out. Man, Well,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I wasn't asking you. I thought I had her phone number.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I guess they give me your number. Bout mistake. You know,
- 15:34Speaker 1: that's my reason for carl. I thought I was gonna
- 15:36Speaker 1: get her. I want to take her out, you know,
- 15:37Speaker 1: maybe to dinner or something. Well, I'll be quite honest, man,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I just came back home from overseas, from fighting and everything. Man.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And uh, I mean you know my post just passed
- 15:47Speaker 1: away not too long ago. And I ain't you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I ain't too keen or my mama going out with somebody.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And besides you, you don't even sound like you. Hey,
- 15:56Speaker 1: she in the sixties. Man, older you man, I'm thirty six.
- 16:00Speaker 1: The hell out of you? You how old man? I'm
- 16:02Speaker 1: thirty six, I'm thirty four. What is you doing? You
- 16:06Speaker 1: do realize my mom is pushing sixty, right? But you
- 16:09Speaker 1: know what, man, I look at it like James, right, James,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I look at it like it's you know heyes, ain't
- 16:14Speaker 1: number but the number man. This wasn't your heart man?
- 16:17Speaker 1: And how you carry yourself? You know? Yeah? But my mother? Ay,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but my mom ain't no cougar like that. And I
- 16:22Speaker 1: know she ain't coming after you right now. I remember
- 16:25Speaker 1: telling me that she trying some new things at this church,
- 16:28Speaker 1: but going out with some thirty thirty. How do you
- 16:32Speaker 1: you do a baby? Man, I'm thirty. I'm thirty six. Dude. Man,
- 16:36Speaker 1: you like my brother something man ain't nowhere in the world.
- 16:39Speaker 1: My mama gonna be days to say. Okay, okay, than James.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Let me say this man. First of all, I ain't
- 16:44Speaker 1: even know I was calling you. Second of all, I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: calling and speak with her. I'm not calling trying to
- 16:48Speaker 1: get permission from you. Miss Burns is a grown woman.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And whoa, whoa, whoa talking about that. I don't think
- 16:55Speaker 1: you're every man. I just came back from fighting overseed.
- 16:57Speaker 1: My pops passed away not too long. I am the
- 17:01Speaker 1: man of the house. Let's get that straight right now.
- 17:03Speaker 1: All right, I don't care if I'm still living at
- 17:05Speaker 1: home or not. I'm the man of this house, all right.
- 17:08Speaker 1: You calling the ass my mama on a date, you
- 17:11Speaker 1: might as well just stick the church dog, because you know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: as I said, be blessed, But it ain't gonna be
- 17:16Speaker 1: no blessing from me to you. I tell you that
- 17:19Speaker 1: right now. I'm not looking for a blessing from you
- 17:23Speaker 1: at all. Bro. You might no no blessing, but I
- 17:27Speaker 1: respect the fact that you've been overseas and you've been
- 17:29Speaker 1: fighting for this country. Okay, But if I decide I
- 17:32Speaker 1: want to speak to miss Burns about going out, I
- 17:35Speaker 1: think Miss Burns has every right to decide if she
- 17:37Speaker 1: would like to go out with Gordon or not, and
- 17:40Speaker 1: Gordon wants to take her out, I took up. Hold up, look, brother,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't care how old you say you are, all right,
- 17:47Speaker 1: Number one, you're too young. As I already mentioned. All right,
- 17:50Speaker 1: this ain't going down with you and my mom. I'm
- 17:53Speaker 1: straight up, hey man, that's for your mama to decide.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Do you you bringing up my mama. You're letting the
- 17:59Speaker 1: word your mama come out your mouth again. That's gonna
- 18:02Speaker 1: get you up, all right. I don't know where you're from.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I don't give how old you are. I'm pretty sick.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I know what church my mamma go to. And and
- 18:10Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be her and you you ain't gonna
- 18:13Speaker 1: be asking her out, all right. I don't give what
- 18:16Speaker 1: it take. I would show up on Sunday, catch up
- 18:19Speaker 1: in the puorfit or wherever you're gonna be sitting in
- 18:22Speaker 1: the back of the choir. It don't matter. Something is
- 18:24Speaker 1: going down. You are not gonna get with my mama
- 18:27Speaker 1: like that. You got that. That's up for your mama
- 18:29Speaker 1: to decide if your mamma want to go out with
- 18:31Speaker 1: me down dinner. I ain't gonnlong with this, man, I'm
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm deciding it right now. It ain't gonna happen. I
- 18:37Speaker 1: told you before, be blessed or get your whook. You
- 18:41Speaker 1: got two choices, all right. I didn't fight the seeds
- 18:45Speaker 1: three years to come back and also deal with my
- 18:48Speaker 1: daddy did and then come back. I'm suffering from PSD. Dog,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do unless you want
- 18:54Speaker 1: to get it like that, suffering from one a PSD
- 18:58Speaker 1: post traumatic stress syndrome, and I will release all that
- 19:02Speaker 1: on you got that. I don't play, But hey, man, listen,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I don't want no trouble. It don't matter to me.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You can tell you Okay, look, man, listen, I ain't
- 19:11Speaker 1: trying to have no trouble about you. Man. All I'm
- 19:13Speaker 1: gonna say is this right here. I'm I'm gonna I
- 19:15Speaker 1: talk to you mom on Sunday. Okay, you ain't gonna
- 19:17Speaker 1: talk to me? Are you not hearing me? Man? I'm okay,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm crazy right now? Okay? Can I say this? Can
- 19:23Speaker 1: I say one more thing to you? Manfo you explode,
- 19:26Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing else to say. I got one
- 19:28Speaker 1: more thing before you explode. Man, If you're listening, Yeah, Man, James,
- 19:33Speaker 1: what hey? Man? I want to tell you this. Man.
- 19:35Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Your mama, Hi got me the prank phone call? You
- 19:44Speaker 1: get the out of here. This is who Hey man,
- 19:48Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Your mama told me. She's saying, my son been overseas,
- 19:54Speaker 1: he've been fighting. I'm glad to have him home. She said.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We got back in the spirit of a life. Man,
- 20:01Speaker 1: my mama, are you are you kidding me? Man? We
- 20:04Speaker 1: got you good. We listen to this show overseas. Man.
- 20:09Speaker 1: First of all, I got to say thank you for
- 20:10Speaker 1: fighting for this country. I want to ask you one
- 20:13Speaker 1: more thing. What is the baddest and I mean the
- 20:15Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the lane? Man, nothing but the
- 20:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey more than show. Get it overseason in the
- 20:22Speaker 1: States though, thanks man, you always you know you did. Yes,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you played too much already. Well, Mama's me a little too, though,
- 20:34Speaker 1: don't I wish you would talk about dating man. I
- 20:40Speaker 1: might call you next week. I might call you next
- 20:44Speaker 1: coming up next, it is asked the CLO with our
- 20:48Speaker 1: chief love officer in the building, Steve Harvey, ready for
- 20:52Speaker 1: your love questions? Right after this you're listening Steve Harvey
- 20:56Speaker 1: Morning Show. I gotta ask the guys, um, what was
- 20:59Speaker 1: it that summer job you ever had? And what job
- 21:03Speaker 1: would you not do again? No matter how much it paid? Steve?
- 21:08Speaker 1: What job would I not do again, no matter how
- 21:10Speaker 1: much you paid? That found you at Ford Motor Company?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Oh you you wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and I would not do no the worst that you
- 21:22Speaker 1: know they found you. I didn't like it the similar
- 21:26Speaker 1: line at Ford, and I ask some cool people I
- 21:28Speaker 1: work with that wasn't bad going to work? Wasn't what
- 21:31Speaker 1: I was meant to do. But though Lincoln Electric is
- 21:36Speaker 1: the worst job I've ever had, I hated. What did
- 21:39Speaker 1: you do there? What did you do? Then? I wrapped
- 21:41Speaker 1: coil wire? You It's really it's tough. You know what
- 21:46Speaker 1: dies are. Dives are these small round things that you
- 21:50Speaker 1: pull wire through, and every die gets smaller. So the
- 21:54Speaker 1: wire goes through and compresses and shaves down. It gets
- 21:57Speaker 1: thinner and thinner. So let's say the wire starts like
- 22:01Speaker 1: a microphone cord, okay, and what you're trying to get
- 22:05Speaker 1: it down to is a cord wire that goes inside
- 22:12Speaker 1: of inside of speaker wire it is. So you put
- 22:18Speaker 1: it through the die and it goes through this machine
- 22:21Speaker 1: at a high speed, and every diet goes through, every
- 22:25Speaker 1: six eight feet gets small and small, and it wraps
- 22:28Speaker 1: up into a big coil. And then you got to
- 22:32Speaker 1: box it up and put it on the palette. Now,
- 22:34Speaker 1: to break even, you had to make two hundred and
- 22:37Speaker 1: thirty eight boxes a day. Wow, it'd be some days.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I finished. I got eighty s ugly, I mean, you know,
- 22:52Speaker 1: but now you're gonna get a guarantee. H But to
- 22:56Speaker 1: get the bonus you had to make extra and at
- 22:59Speaker 1: the end of the year guys was getting fifty thousand
- 23:01Speaker 1: dollar bones. What you get? I ain't never get the bonus.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Oh you didn't even get a bonus period? Well what
- 23:15Speaker 1: about it? I mean, how could they do it? Why?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Why was you so slow with yours? You just I
- 23:23Speaker 1: hate it, man, I didn't like doing the mechanical work
- 23:26Speaker 1: to keep the line running because you had to change
- 23:28Speaker 1: your dies all the time, because the inspect to come
- 23:32Speaker 1: by and tell you that your wire has a score
- 23:34Speaker 1: in it, which means a little scratch that means one
- 23:37Speaker 1: of the dies is wore out and you don't catch it.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And then the inspect to come by and X out
- 23:44Speaker 1: all your boxes in the box with the scores and
- 23:48Speaker 1: it got to go, so you lose fifteen fifteen boxes
- 23:54Speaker 1: went to inspect it. Come, I hate it. Wow, you're
- 23:59Speaker 1: depressed telling us about it at that. What how old
- 24:04Speaker 1: were you then? Oh? Twenty three m So that was
- 24:11Speaker 1: one of your first like full time jobs. Right after?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Did you quit? Did you quit or they fired you? Yeah?
- 24:18Speaker 1: I quit? I made that story. What did you say?
- 24:25Speaker 1: What is happening? You're not doing any business? Loan king?
- 24:31Speaker 1: Oh the small business? Long open up the carbon cleaning. Come,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I didn't have no loan. I just wanted to walk
- 24:39Speaker 1: out with dignity. Yeah. Look, oh man, we're gonna miss you. Man.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You're a good dude. Man, it was funny. Man. You
- 24:46Speaker 1: kept us live in hire. Man. Yeah, why I have
- 24:49Speaker 1: been whooping your behind? Please, man, so sad. Tell I
- 24:57Speaker 1: was dying, man, and I want midnight ship from mid
- 25:00Speaker 1: I ain't to eat in the morning. I would be
- 25:01Speaker 1: so set coming home I drive by my exit. Wow,
- 25:06Speaker 1: that's how sleepy I would be. I would I miss
- 25:09Speaker 1: my exit at least five times. Okay, so let's switch
- 25:13Speaker 1: it and ask you what was the best summer job
- 25:15Speaker 1: you had, because that depressed us all. Just I got
- 25:19Speaker 1: a job at the swimming pool as a lifeguard, and
- 25:21Speaker 1: can't sweet them that have the best job right in college,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I got a job at the shimming pool of watching
- 25:29Speaker 1: girls has a lifeguarding, just hoping when nobody get in.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Did anybody ever get in in a drastic situation? No,
- 25:41Speaker 1: thank god, you got lucky. Man. I had all them
- 25:46Speaker 1: life some stuff over there everything. I had so much
- 25:49Speaker 1: stuff in the pool. I was throwing furniture in the pool.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I had so much furniture in the pool. One time,
- 25:53Speaker 1: one dude got in trouble and I threw so much
- 25:55Speaker 1: stuff in the pool he could walk out. Threw a
- 25:58Speaker 1: staring phone, cool lot. I had so much first that
- 26:03Speaker 1: he can walk out. So they didn't test you anything
- 26:06Speaker 1: to see if you could swim. They just hired you
- 26:08Speaker 1: on the spot. That's crazy. Well, what it happened was
- 26:12Speaker 1: my name was Steve Harvey. Yes, of course. It was
- 26:16Speaker 1: a white guy to school named Steve Darby. Okay, he
- 26:20Speaker 1: didn't come to work. So I went, oh, and he said,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you see Jarby and I went, yeah, just with no problem.
- 26:30Speaker 1: He said, well here you go handing me that little
- 26:32Speaker 1: red thing said where's your shorts? Okay, so I told
- 26:39Speaker 1: him I have him tomorrow. I just bought my pants
- 26:41Speaker 1: that rolled him up and set up on this chair.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I like told him, my name is Steve Harvey. I
- 26:52Speaker 1: got paid man about six weeks. What so Steve Darby
- 26:57Speaker 1: never came back. The white guy on the I have
- 27:02Speaker 1: no idea what happened to this dude. He ain't show Wow.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey went on and then at the life officer.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Anybody had a drown in their pool, they'd have been dead.
- 27:12Speaker 1: But a god, I can't say. Nobody man, it wasn't
- 27:15Speaker 1: about to jump in that deep and getting trouble in
- 27:21Speaker 1: this five foot and we noticed just when when I
- 27:25Speaker 1: ain't margin tried to get in the water in Hawaii.
- 27:27Speaker 1: You remember that he almost had a bad fit. Yes
- 27:30Speaker 1: he did, Yes, he did. And you did you ever
- 27:33Speaker 1: learn to swim? Steve? Yeah? You know, I know I have.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I have get back back whatever I fell off of,
- 27:44Speaker 1: I can swim good. He got get out, he got
- 27:47Speaker 1: get out that swim crossed down. That ain't gonna I'm
- 27:54Speaker 1: so glad you found your purpose. I'm so glad you
- 27:56Speaker 1: found your purpose. I really need some money, man, that's funny. Wow,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I know, but getting paid. Coming up more of the
- 28:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're gonna talk a little bit
- 28:12Speaker 1: of when we come back to Faster. You're listening to
- 28:20Speaker 1: old school relationship advice means well most of the time,
- 28:24Speaker 1: but some of it is out of touch and should
- 28:27Speaker 1: become a thing of the past. Some of these rules
- 28:29Speaker 1: or tips need to be redefined and clarified for the
- 28:32Speaker 1: time we live in now. This is according to psychologist
- 28:36Speaker 1: doctor Joshua Clapal for example. Clap Clapal for example, Steve,
- 28:45Speaker 1: the old cliche and this is biblical. Don't go to
- 28:47Speaker 1: bed angry. Uh. Doctor Clappal says, we've heard this classic,
- 28:53Speaker 1: but it's unrealistic, and sometimes going to bed mad and
- 28:57Speaker 1: sleeping on it is better. What do you say? Do
- 29:00Speaker 1: you well? I don't know what were you with that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I wish we could go to bed and not be mad.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I really do, right. I don't nobody want to go
- 29:08Speaker 1: to bed mad. You know you got to sleep back
- 29:12Speaker 1: to each other. Somebody rolled over and touch you, you jumping,
- 29:17Speaker 1: get you damn foot off. Nobody wants that. I think
- 29:21Speaker 1: it's better to do that. Now. Is it realistic to
- 29:24Speaker 1: expect not to ever go to bed? Man? Now? I
- 29:26Speaker 1: don't think it is that, but that show ain't clear
- 29:30Speaker 1: to go to bed man. We're gonna or you wake
- 29:34Speaker 1: up mad. Let me tell you something. You know, if
- 29:39Speaker 1: you let a woman go to bed mad, she wake up,
- 29:43Speaker 1: she gonna be just as mad or mad earth because
- 29:47Speaker 1: she'd have thought about some most stuff. Yeah, now, dude,
- 29:50Speaker 1: it's wake up and go hey baby, how are you doing?
- 29:52Speaker 1: How the hell you think? How was our last night?
- 29:55Speaker 1: When you shut your eyes exactly? So ea, I think
- 30:00Speaker 1: he's wrong, not healthy? All right, Doctor clip House says
- 30:06Speaker 1: you can change them, He says. It's a romantic idea,
- 30:10Speaker 1: the old cliche, you can change them. But he points
- 30:13Speaker 1: out it's not your responsibility to change anyone, right. I
- 30:16Speaker 1: agree with it's not your job to change anyone. Nor
- 30:21Speaker 1: don't you nor do you have the ability? Right, that's
- 30:24Speaker 1: something that women have. I mean, we may as well
- 30:26Speaker 1: admit that we're always trying to change. And I think
- 30:29Speaker 1: it's the nurturer in us. We always Yeah, we all
- 30:32Speaker 1: change him, girl, Yeah I change. I know he's like
- 30:35Speaker 1: that right now. But once he gave me six months. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: let me work on a girl. Yeah, I got this.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You're gonna have to work at every day though, every
- 30:45Speaker 1: day I change everything. Yeah, but bore that all right,
- 30:50Speaker 1: here's another one. Some people never change. That's the cliche,
- 30:55Speaker 1: the old school cliche. Doctor clip House says. On the
- 30:57Speaker 1: flip side, the suggestion that's someone is incapable of changing
- 31:01Speaker 1: is wrong and it ignores the fact that we all
- 31:05Speaker 1: have control over our choices. So I absolutely agree with that.
- 31:10Speaker 1: That's one. He's only said one thing I didn't agree with,
- 31:14Speaker 1: and that was the first one. Yeah, I agree with that.
- 31:16Speaker 1: You don't go to bed will change. Yeah, people change man,
- 31:20Speaker 1: all right, all the time. Here's another one. Old school
- 31:23Speaker 1: love will keep you together, love and keep you together.
- 31:27Speaker 1: He says. This works in an old romantic movie, but
- 31:31Speaker 1: in real life it takes a lot more than love
- 31:35Speaker 1: to make it work. Whoa what love got to do? Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: got to do with it? What love? But a second
- 31:48Speaker 1: handed moves? What right? Take it up? Gotta do it.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Ain't got nothing to do with it. Many. Yeah, you
- 31:58Speaker 1: gotta honor that commitment that you got to compromise, understanding,
- 32:04Speaker 1: take the blame, not be right all the time. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: it never worked for me. Never. All right, here's junior. No,
- 32:19Speaker 1: it's that love thing. I told her I love her,
- 32:21Speaker 1: But my replacement was at the donk when you I'm
- 32:25Speaker 1: just like, who is this? Oh this Chris Week going
- 32:27Speaker 1: to dinner? You ain't Chris. I love you though? To
- 32:30Speaker 1: the left, to the left through you. Yeah, it's almost
- 32:37Speaker 1: like what but you've grown up now you're now? Yeah,
- 32:41Speaker 1: you're good now? Yeah that was back. Yeah, I ain't handling.
- 32:44Speaker 1: We've all been through some things up to the game. Yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 1: all right, old school love will I mean know your
- 32:52Speaker 1: role in the relationship. That's old school. Doctor clip House says,
- 32:56Speaker 1: forget this old gender stereotype. And remember there's not a
- 33:00Speaker 1: required way for you to act. Your role in a
- 33:04Speaker 1: relationship shouldn't always be the same. It's constantly shifting. I
- 33:10Speaker 1: missed it. Start over. You know your role in the relationship.
- 33:16Speaker 1: That's old school thinking. Okay, doctor Clapow says, forget this
- 33:20Speaker 1: old gender stereotype, and remember there is not a required
- 33:24Speaker 1: way for you to act. That's new school thinking. He says,
- 33:28Speaker 1: your role in a relationship isn't going to be the
- 33:31Speaker 1: same all the time. It's constantly changing. And that's a
- 33:34Speaker 1: good thing, that's what he's saying. He says, it'll shift organically. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: and that's a good thing. You think your role should
- 33:45Speaker 1: stay the same in a relationship, Well, I mean I
- 33:47Speaker 1: think I think your roles have to be defined so
- 33:53Speaker 1: that everybody has an understanding of positioning. And then I
- 33:58Speaker 1: think there has to be some type of all give
- 34:02Speaker 1: and take or sometimes the other person can do that.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I'm not saying like roles like you do all the
- 34:08Speaker 1: cleaning and eye I'm not talking about that. Yeah, but
- 34:11Speaker 1: if you're good with money, yeah anything, Yeah, I mean,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you know, and if you either side, if you roll playing,
- 34:19Speaker 1: then your roles change like you know, I might be
- 34:22Speaker 1: Batman one night, you know what I'm saying, But then
- 34:25Speaker 1: next night I might be in credible hook. You know
- 34:26Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Your roles do change. I have to
- 34:29Speaker 1: know that organically, right, organ organically and realistically, you're neither one.
- 34:39Speaker 1: All right, here's old school. You should stay with them
- 34:41Speaker 1: for better or for worse, he says. He says. We
- 34:47Speaker 1: all want to think our partner will stick around no
- 34:49Speaker 1: matter what, but if a relationship is unhealthy, you don't.
- 34:53Speaker 1: You don't need to stick it out, all right, we
- 35:00Speaker 1: do have to get out. You're listening to show it
- 35:06Speaker 1: is time for ask the clo with Steve Harvey the
- 35:10Speaker 1: clo in the building. This one is from Willie and Gary, Indiana.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Willie writes, I'm a fifty six year old married man.
- 35:17Speaker 1: My wife found a condom in my work bag that
- 35:22Speaker 1: had been there since twenty nineteen. I told her I
- 35:25Speaker 1: got it from a healthfare in my office building, but
- 35:29Speaker 1: she didn't believe me. I really did have a one
- 35:32Speaker 1: night's stand. Listen to this, guys, I really did have
- 35:34Speaker 1: a one night's stand with a coworker two years ago
- 35:37Speaker 1: after an office Christmas party. But it was only once,
- 35:41Speaker 1: my wife claimed a lady called her and told her everything.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I panicked and confessed, and then my wife says she
- 35:49Speaker 1: made it all up to get the truth. She wants
- 35:51Speaker 1: the name as the number of the lady, but she's
- 35:55Speaker 1: married to a boxer. How can I get my wife
- 35:57Speaker 1: to leave this love? Come on for you to do
- 36:04Speaker 1: fifty six years old and fall for the okid dough.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what you accuse me of.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It's not true. I don't even understand you confess to everything? Yeah, bro,
- 36:20Speaker 1: what's wrong with you? And what what are you doing
- 36:22Speaker 1: with a condom still in your bag? From two nine
- 36:25Speaker 1: twenty nineteen? Oh only have one time? Man? Come on,
- 36:30Speaker 1: an idiot, this truth till I can't have told y'all
- 36:37Speaker 1: about this truth. It's way overrated. It's not what you confessing.
- 36:42Speaker 1: She didn't even bust you. No, you saw me where
- 36:48Speaker 1: Wait a minute, we're who? What? What woman you talking about?
- 36:55Speaker 1: When you talk about you're gonna have to come up
- 36:57Speaker 1: with a name. You got to come up with some cases.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You gotta have a picture, you gotta have something like
- 37:03Speaker 1: the joke I wrote a long time ago. I don't
- 37:06Speaker 1: care if you got a polaroid picture of my butt
- 37:11Speaker 1: jacked up in the air with my social Security number. Oh,
- 37:16Speaker 1: my ass, that is not me. Yeah, And I don't
- 37:23Speaker 1: know how this man got my so security number on
- 37:28Speaker 1: his ass or how he even knew it. I don't know,
- 37:32Speaker 1: but it is not me. That's how strong I am
- 37:37Speaker 1: with it. Pretty convincing, Pretty convincing. Um. Yeah, he's in
- 37:42Speaker 1: a world of trouble on that one. Uh. He wants
- 37:46Speaker 1: to know how can he get his wife to leave
- 37:47Speaker 1: it alone? Though? That's the question. Clo M. Put that
- 37:51Speaker 1: condom on it? Sure it don't fit? Dog U? This
- 37:56Speaker 1: is not O. J. Simpson trial. Oh my oh. If
- 38:01Speaker 1: it doesn't fit, you can't be married and have a condom.
- 38:06Speaker 1: All right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 38:10Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this you're listening to, So Steve,
- 38:17Speaker 1: here's a question from Steve Harvey. F M. All right.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It says, have you ever thought the wrong thing at
- 38:24Speaker 1: the wrong moment? Now? This email is from D He says, Hey, guys,
- 38:29Speaker 1: a comedy booker who I deal with has a new secretary.
- 38:34Speaker 1: The new secretary doesn't love me as much as the
- 38:36Speaker 1: old secretary. Subsequently, I get less booked less often. The
- 38:41Speaker 1: new secretary's brother just died, and I thought, sure would
- 38:45Speaker 1: be nice if the old secretary would come back for
- 38:47Speaker 1: a few weeks and I will get some bookings. Now
- 38:50Speaker 1: I feel bad, Savor Tommy. When was the last time
- 38:53Speaker 1: you thought the wrong thing at the wrong moment? When
- 38:58Speaker 1: was the last time you ever thought something wrong at
- 39:01Speaker 1: the wrong moment? Too many times? I'm trying to clean
- 39:10Speaker 1: it up, But go ahead, Yeah, okay, Well let me
- 39:13Speaker 1: ask you all this hell you ever been in church praying? Yes,
- 39:19Speaker 1: m a offering? And then she walked by doing an
- 39:23Speaker 1: offering prayer. She walked by, Yes, even after she had
- 39:36Speaker 1: dropped her money in you still locked yes, all the
- 39:40Speaker 1: way wrong and you lose your place in the prayer? Man,
- 39:48Speaker 1: who are in heaven hind the world in your name
- 39:56Speaker 1: right here? Or look at all that kingdom? Yeah, looker
- 40:01Speaker 1: hill man, yo will beat Joe all over this earth
- 40:07Speaker 1: all up and down? Yeah? You know you ever done that?
- 40:11Speaker 1: It was just as good. It was my relative lay
- 40:16Speaker 1: in the casket, and she was in there supposed to
- 40:18Speaker 1: save for the family. I forgot who the hell was
- 40:22Speaker 1: laying up there at the funeral at your tear and
- 40:27Speaker 1: then almost as a first day. Once Charon had walked
- 40:30Speaker 1: up there, I forgot who the hell we was here. Fuck, Lord,
- 40:35Speaker 1: that dress was tight, crazy hill. I need to give
- 40:39Speaker 1: a damn who it was. But she was there, my Lord,
- 40:44Speaker 1: all right. I never seen somebody fall, super fine woman
- 40:50Speaker 1: fall and dress blow way up over her. I just
- 40:55Speaker 1: sat there and thought about the wrong thing. Yeah, at
- 40:57Speaker 1: the wrong time time, And is everything you ever thought about?
- 41:02Speaker 1: Really get the wrong thing at the wrong time? What
- 41:07Speaker 1: have you ever been praying? And ask God to give
- 41:10Speaker 1: somebody a stroke? Right so you and kiss him? Yeah?
- 41:16Speaker 1: I know, really stroke. I've asked him to actually shut
- 41:21Speaker 1: down somebody whole left side. You want to hear it?
- 41:26Speaker 1: You want to do the mountain? Hey, hey, this is true.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I left a basketball game after high school one time
- 41:37Speaker 1: and the guy robbed me coming out of business corner.
- 41:40Speaker 1: That was the first time I asking Lord. I asked
- 41:43Speaker 1: God to strike somebody dead. Yeah. I had nine dollars
- 41:51Speaker 1: to nine dollars a chance. I thought that would be
- 41:54Speaker 1: a good time to ask the Lord to do something
- 41:57Speaker 1: for me. As of course, he didn't do it, and
- 42:02Speaker 1: he ran off with the nine. But again, I'm stuck.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Glad you're changed, man, Oh he is he better be
- 42:14Speaker 1: from that. Have you ever thought the wrong thing at
- 42:17Speaker 1: the wrong question? Yea, that wrong? You know? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
- 42:25Speaker 1: the same thing. I didn't been I didn't been naked
- 42:27Speaker 1: and ran out into the living room and didn't know
- 42:29Speaker 1: about it was in there, and asked, could they just
- 42:31Speaker 1: be blind right now? Please just be to not see
- 42:35Speaker 1: all this? I didn't had a six stell crisis, asked
- 42:39Speaker 1: the nurse that came in the room. I asked the lord,
- 42:43Speaker 1: could you please please let her stay because my gown
- 42:50Speaker 1: just too much? Yeah, my gown not suffering? Not? I asked,
- 42:55Speaker 1: DoD she have to? Can she wear head at night?

- 52:46Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Subject Thundercat is on the Prowl. Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 52:55Speaker 1: am a divorced, forty four year old single mom. As
- 52:59Speaker 1: an attract active, curvy and educated woman. I have no
- 53:03Speaker 1: problems meeting men. It's keeping them that's the issue. The
- 53:08Speaker 1: last man that I dated, we were together for almost
- 53:11Speaker 1: three months before we had sex. I made him wait
- 53:15Speaker 1: for a reason, and here's why. When we had sex
- 53:18Speaker 1: for the first time, he passed out afterwards. He was
- 53:22Speaker 1: only out for a short time, and when he came to,
- 53:26Speaker 1: he said his blood sugar was low Barnett, but I
- 53:30Speaker 1: think he was lying because this has happened to me
- 53:33Speaker 1: before with another man. The next time we made love,
- 53:37Speaker 1: I toned down the intensity and I cut out the
- 53:40Speaker 1: extra stuff that I normally do. He told me it
- 53:44Speaker 1: was too much for him and he ended up breaking
- 53:46Speaker 1: up with me. My crazy ex husband was the same way.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Whenever I would try to do something new with him,
- 53:54Speaker 1: he got mad and accused me of cheating on him,
- 53:56Speaker 1: which was one of the reasons we got divorced. So
- 54:00Speaker 1: lately I have been dating a nice Southern gentleman, and
- 54:04Speaker 1: two nights ago we had sex for the first time.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I warned him that I was about to put it
- 54:09Speaker 1: on him, but he must have thought I was just
- 54:12Speaker 1: playing well Shirley during the act, see right there, well Shirley,
- 54:18Speaker 1: during the act, he started screaming like a little girl,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and he was begging me to stop, so I did.
- 54:26Speaker 1: He just he just stared at me for a while.
- 54:31Speaker 1: He just stared at me for a while, and then
- 54:33Speaker 1: he told me that I was way too much for him.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He accused me of being some kind of loose woman
- 54:40Speaker 1: because of my skill set. I was so offended that
- 54:43Speaker 1: I left his house and we have not communicated since Saturday.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I can't help but think there's a man out there
- 54:49Speaker 1: that can handle me, that can handle me. My friend's
- 54:53Speaker 1: nicknamed me Thundercat, and they told me I should teach
- 54:56Speaker 1: a sex class for women. I like to keep it
- 54:59Speaker 1: tight and right, and I really do enjoy sex, So
- 55:02Speaker 1: what should I do Tommy, you hush for I want
- 55:06Speaker 1: to hear from Stephen. Shirley, please advise, Okay I first, Shirley,
- 55:14Speaker 1: I will see I will because I know you think
- 55:16Speaker 1: this letter is about you, right, No, but I'm gonna here.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I have seen this photos. I just got to ask you.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I mean, what are you doing? Really? Not not what
- 55:26Speaker 1: are you doing to the guys? Just what are you doing?
- 55:29Speaker 1: From from a thinking position? Okay, you cannot put all
- 55:34Speaker 1: this stuff that you're doing on someone that you're having
- 55:38Speaker 1: sex with for the first time, especially a man. You
- 55:41Speaker 1: can't do this. You can't pull all the tricks out
- 55:44Speaker 1: of your bag on the first you can't. All right,
- 55:47Speaker 1: you gotta slowly roll this stuff out, if you know,
- 55:50Speaker 1: so they can get used to it. You gotta spoon
- 55:53Speaker 1: feed them, so to speak, because I mean you, I mean,
- 55:57Speaker 1: and look at your track records. You got a man
- 56:00Speaker 1: who passed out, a man who was screaming like a girl,
- 56:03Speaker 1: a man who broke up with you, your husband accused
- 56:06Speaker 1: you of cheating. I mean, you gotta look at what's
- 56:09Speaker 1: going on here and realize that maybe just maybe you know,
- 56:15Speaker 1: slow it down a little bit. Uh, come on, you,
- 56:19Speaker 1: you just you're forty four years old. You you enjoy sex,
- 56:22Speaker 1: you like it. Perhaps you should teach a class. But listen,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you gotta take it easy. You know, you tell somebody
- 56:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it on you. I mean, come on,
- 56:33Speaker 1: just relax, okay, relax a little bit, and and and
- 56:37Speaker 1: ease into these I mean, have you lost your entire
- 56:43Speaker 1: mind details? Yeah, I'm just trying to help. Yeah, we're
- 56:55Speaker 1: gonna take that out. Don't even worry. Yeah. But when
- 57:03Speaker 1: I first read the letter, I thought you were saying
- 57:05Speaker 1: you you were you waited for three months to have
- 57:08Speaker 1: sex because you know, like in Steve's book, act like
- 57:11Speaker 1: a lady, think like a man. He's telling you, you know,
- 57:13Speaker 1: to wait for ninety days. So you but that's to
- 57:16Speaker 1: get to know the person and all of that. You know,
- 57:19Speaker 1: you waited because what you didn't want to kill the
- 57:23Speaker 1: man on the first time. But I just saying you
- 57:26Speaker 1: need to take your time, ease into this stuff. Lighting
- 57:29Speaker 1: up a little bit. I mean, you know, I get you.
- 57:32Speaker 1: You like it in your serious This other man his
- 57:35Speaker 1: blood sugar was low. You're gonna kill somebody. Relax, Steve,
- 57:40Speaker 1: it's your turn, come about it. I am there's a
- 57:48Speaker 1: lot of key stuff in here. I'm gonna point it
- 57:50Speaker 1: out to you all through the damn letter. Okay, olden line,
- 57:54Speaker 1: I am a divorce. This means this, this has been
- 57:58Speaker 1: over with some he said enough. Forty four year old
- 58:03Speaker 1: single woman, good and grown. Ye, I'm an attractive that's
- 58:09Speaker 1: what she said. Curvy that could be anything, you know.
- 58:15Speaker 1: That's what they call him. It's other other words for heaven,
- 58:18Speaker 1: So you could be curvy and educated. I have no
- 58:22Speaker 1: problems meeting men. It's keeping them that's an issue. Last
- 58:28Speaker 1: man I dated, we asked. We was together for three
- 58:31Speaker 1: months before we had sex. I made him wait for
- 58:33Speaker 1: a reason. Here why When we had sex for the
- 58:35Speaker 1: first time, he passed out. He was only out for
- 58:39Speaker 1: a short time, and when he came to, he said
- 58:42Speaker 1: he had his blood sugar was low. He know what
- 58:46Speaker 1: the hell happened? And yeah, but he when he woke up,
- 58:52Speaker 1: he woke up as a diabetic. She gave him diabeting.

- 59:32Speaker 1: it's all because of her sexual acts. First man she
- 59:37Speaker 1: told us about. They had been waiting three months. When
- 59:40Speaker 1: she finally gave him something. He passed out, and when
- 59:44Speaker 1: he came to, he said his blood sugar was low.
- 59:48Speaker 1: He had never said that before ever in his life,
- 59:52Speaker 1: but she gave him diabetes. He woke up with diabetes.
- 59:57Speaker 1: He didn't have it for that. There's something happened to
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: him and he didn't know what it was. But I
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: think he was lying because that happened to me before
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: with another man. The next time we made love, I
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: toned down the intensity and cut out the extra stuff
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I normally do. What the hell is you in here doing?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: When a woman tells you I tuned down the intensity
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and cut out some of the normal stuff I do?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Do you know what the hell happened? In the hell?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: What's going on? This happened to the intensity? Is the Pherocity,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: The pherosity. This hell for too much for any damn body.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Let me tell you what's going on. Let me read
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: a little bit more left and she cut out the
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: extra stuff she normally do. Okay, let me tell something.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: If you cut out the extra stuff that you know me,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I'm toned down the intensity and he still fell out.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: The hell is you do we regulize stuff regular I'm
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: gonna tell you what she's doing in a minute. Though.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: He told me it was too much for him and
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: he ended up breaking up with me. Then my crazy
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: ex husband now seeing now people crazy now na na
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: now to me and crazy with her crazy at it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He was the same way. Whenever I would try to
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: do something new with him. He got mad, accused me
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: of cheating, which one of the reasons we got divorced.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: So LEYL, I've been dating a nice Southern gentleman. Two
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: nights ago we had sex. You have a lot of sex, said,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: this is how many men were already over the three linen.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: He told y'all to talk about it. We wall over

- 1:02:20Speaker 1: screaming like a white girl. He was begging me to stop.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I was too much for him. He accused me of
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: being some kind of a loose woman because of my
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: skills set. I was so offended that I left his
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: house and win communicate. He glad you left. Yeah, and

- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I panicked and confessed, and then my wife said she
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: made it all up to get the truth. She wants
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: the name as the number of the lady, but she's

- 1:16:39Speaker 1: what's wrong with you? And what are you doing with

- 1:17:18Speaker 1: come up with some You gotta have a picture, you
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: gotta have something like the joke I wrote a long
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: time ago. I don't care if you got a polaroid
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: picture or my butt jacked up in the air with
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: my Social Security number? Oh my ass, that is not me. Yeah,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: And I don't know how this man got my so

- 1:17:54Speaker 1: strong I am with pretty pretty convincing. Um. Yeah, he's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: in a world of trouble on that one. Uh. He
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: wants to know how can he get his wife to
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: leave it alone? Though, that's the question. Clo h put
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: that condom on it? Sure it don't fit Hey, dog, Hey,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: this is not O. J. Simpson trial. Oh if it

- 1:18:46Speaker 1: closing remarks. What you got for Steve. I think the
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: best way for me always is to just be open
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and honest about my own experiences and my own uh life.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Somebody asked me yesterday. It said, man, how do you
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: do it? How do you keep going when things seem
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to be going so contrary to I'm sure the way
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: you wanted to go? And of course, you know, I
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: always kind of have an idea of what people are
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: talking about, even though I don't address the majority of it.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: But the question was a sincere question, and they weren't
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: saying it to me to be mean or to get
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: a conversation started, they will seriously ask me, man, how
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: do you keep going? How do you manage to just
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: show up and do your job anyway? When so many
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: things around you seem to be swirling, so many things
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: being said, conversations anything. I said, Well, here's the deal.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I have been able to survive all the things in
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: my life because of my faith. I'm just being honest
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: with you. If God did not love me the way
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: he does, if God did not give me an extend
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: to me his grace and his mercy the way he does,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I don't know how I would make it. But because
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I have this unwavering faith, the belief in things that
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I cannot see, because I understand that He covers me.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I understand that Isaiah fifty four seventeen exists. I understand
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: that Isaiah forty three one in two exists. That I
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: can walk through the waters and rivers and not drown,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: and walk through fire and will not be burned, and
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: norwa kindling set upon my clothing. I understand that no
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: weapon formed against me shall prosper. I understand that there
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: are principalities at work all the time. I understand that
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the Devil's job is to rob me and you of
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: our destiny, and he would challenge that any way he can.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: If he can't get through to you, he will get
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: through to someone you love. If he can't get through
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to you, he will get through to somebody you care about.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: If he can't get through to you, he'll come through
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: a coworker. If he can't get through to you, he'll
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: come through a supervisor. If he can't get through to you,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: he'll use social media and ego find a way to
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: get to you, to shake your faith. The thing that
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: maintains me in all of it is my unwavering faith
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: in him. That God's promises are true. That he promised
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: never to leave me, that he promised that he would
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: be there and ever present presence in my life, that
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: he would always never forsake me, That when it looks
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: like it's going all wrong, that he is behind the
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: scenes working on my behalf and behind the scenes working
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: on your behalf. That relationship that I've formed over the
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: years with God, that I've tightened up this year is
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: the reason I can stand and face all of my
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: trials and tribulations and stand strong and still go to
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: work and keep a smile on my face and keep
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: moving forward. The fact that I handle my triumphs and
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: my tragedies the exact same way. The fact that you
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: can't look at me and see no signs or struggle
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: on me, it is because of my unwavering faith. The
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: reason my faith is able to stay so strong is
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: because I've discovered in my sixty two years of living
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: that God has kept me even in moments when I
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: didn't know how I was going to be able to
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: keep myself. Because when you have a relationship with God
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and you leaning on his promises, and all of his
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: promises are true, what do you have to worry about?
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: What can man do to you? If God is with you,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: who can be against you? Who? What problem or what
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: person can you name or come up with as greater
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: than God? I can't. I can't think of anything. What
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: problem do you have that's bigger than God? I can't
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: think of anything. What situation do you think that God
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: can't bring you through? If you look back on your
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: life and realize that He's brought you through every other
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: one you've ever been in, every situation I've ever been in,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: God has cleared me through that one. He's done the
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: same thing for you. Just look back. Name the one
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: thing that God hasn't brought you through. Name it. If
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: He ain't bought you through it, he's currently pulling you
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: through it right now. You know how I know that's
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: true because you can hear me. God is a very
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: present help in the time of trouble. The reason I
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: have relationship with God is so when I get in
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: moments like these, I don't have to introduce myself to it.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: He has heard me before. I have called Him on
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: a daily basis when it's going good and when it's
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: going bad. So when it go bad and I show up,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: he recognizes me that I am his in his mind.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: That's why I can keep my head up. Y'all do
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: the same. Y'all have a great weekd those are my
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: clothes were remarked. I've already dropped him, Mike, y'all have
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: a great work. Yes, you did? Now did. For all
