- 0:54Speaker 1: My next kiss is giving Wild Her fine jewelry business
- 0:58Speaker 1: was founded on the belief that jewels should be luxurious.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I love that luxurious. That company, however, came to an
- 1:06Speaker 1: abrupt end following her divorce, and the main producer of
- 1:09Speaker 1: the stones was her former husband, who refused to provide
- 1:12Speaker 1: the material for her to continue her venture. Thus she
- 1:15Speaker 1: had to reinvent herself. Vivian stories about being a single mother,
- 1:20Speaker 1: an entrepreneur and bedding on yourself and when you look
- 1:24Speaker 1: at and taking a leap of faith with a plan.
- 1:26Speaker 1: That's key, right there, leap of faith with a plan
- 1:30Speaker 1: and invested every diamond to her new fine jeority venture.
- 1:33Speaker 1: She's on the show to tell her story and would
- 1:35Speaker 1: motivate us with her story. Please work with the money
- 1:38Speaker 1: making conversation. They're fantastic, Vivian Row, thank you so much
- 1:45Speaker 1: for having me. Rashan, it's amazing being here with you today. Well,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, I I really you know in the industry
- 1:52Speaker 1: because I have a good friend. She's in Arizona. She's
- 1:55Speaker 1: in the dining business, and she told me how let's go.
- 1:59Speaker 1: How you know, very few females have h in the
- 2:03Speaker 1: in the jewelry business, especially in the dining business. So
- 2:07Speaker 1: we're talking about an industry and you can always correct
- 2:09Speaker 1: me from wrong that is male dominated and because it's
- 2:14Speaker 1: ma all dominated. Women who come into the business are
- 2:17Speaker 1: find it difficult to break in. Is that true? Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It is a very male dominated industry and when you
- 2:28Speaker 1: are a woman's people look at you like you're not
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna make it. Um It's it's changing a little bit
- 2:35Speaker 1: now with the whole you know, e commerce online world
- 2:40Speaker 1: that's becoming you know, the most prominent uh jewelry uh
- 2:45Speaker 1: market right now because of everything that's going on with
- 2:48Speaker 1: the world. Um so, a lot of entrepreneur world, uh
- 2:54Speaker 1: entrepreneurial minds, females are coming in and are able to
- 2:58Speaker 1: really get theirs in the business. But you were, you know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: it's really and it kind of it's kind of and
- 3:05Speaker 1: I'm glad you're saying that because of technology, because the
- 3:09Speaker 1: way e commerce works now and also when you look
- 3:13Speaker 1: at what the COVID has done, the way it shut
- 3:15Speaker 1: down this country and breaking mortars really had to reinvent
- 3:19Speaker 1: themselves and people are now shopping online more than ever.
- 3:22Speaker 1: In fact, they trust the process more than ever. And
- 3:25Speaker 1: so with that, with that whole shutdown, how did that
- 3:27Speaker 1: affect your approach to business? Did you change your model
- 3:30Speaker 1: or did you, like a lot of people I was
- 3:32Speaker 1: spoken to big corporation and small entrepreneurs have said they
- 3:35Speaker 1: benefited from the COVID shutdown. That's me definitely, because we
- 3:41Speaker 1: never actually had any break and mortar stores. My my
- 3:45Speaker 1: new jewelry line, which is out of this well, actually
- 3:49Speaker 1: launch at the end of last year. So when we launched,
- 3:53Speaker 1: COVID was already like kind of taking place, not you
- 3:56Speaker 1: know much, but it was already like coming to the say,
- 4:00Speaker 1: so everybody already had that concern. Uh. But and when
- 4:06Speaker 1: when we decided to uh launch a sale because I
- 4:11Speaker 1: was actually going to close the store, the store was
- 4:13Speaker 1: going to be closed for good because it wasn't doing well,
- 4:17Speaker 1: we launch a fifty fifty percent off discount, uh a
- 4:21Speaker 1: store closing sale, and then the store exploded. And I
- 4:26Speaker 1: truly believe, I truly believe that the main reason for
- 4:30Speaker 1: that was because of a COVID because we got to
- 4:35Speaker 1: at that specific time, there were a lot of people
- 4:39Speaker 1: that were stuck at home and now we're putting this incredible, incredible,
- 4:44Speaker 1: sustainable eighteen carrot Diamonds jewelry line in front of them.
- 4:49Speaker 1: In also social media and marketing techniques and all of that,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and it's disty percent off now and people are like, Okay,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I need to buy online anyway. So that's that's what
- 4:59Speaker 1: kind e a made us like it. It was, it was,
- 5:04Speaker 1: it was a life saving time for us. Okay, Vivian, Okay,
- 5:08Speaker 1: you sound upbeat, sound like a person who's got good
- 5:12Speaker 1: things happening in her life right now. Was it always
- 5:15Speaker 1: like this? Was it always this upbeat? What were the struggles?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Because when I talk about jewelry, because we said look jurious,
- 5:22Speaker 1: which means already that's that's that's an elevated word, the
- 5:25Speaker 1: word that elevated above another price tag this out there.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So what is your market share? Who are you trying
- 5:31Speaker 1: to reach in your market share and your jewelry business? Yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 1: so for my jewelry, basically I have a luxury jewelry line,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but it was very affordable and attainable prices there. So
- 5:47Speaker 1: when I when I wanted to launch my jewelry line,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I wanted to create a line that I would be
- 5:53Speaker 1: able to create everything that I would like to wear.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So I'm from Brazil, right, I do not wear for
- 6:00Speaker 1: in carry goals, So all of my jewelry pieces are
- 6:03Speaker 1: made in recycled, sustainable eighteen carry goals. I do not
- 6:08Speaker 1: wear natural diamonds. I only wear love grown diamonds because
- 6:13Speaker 1: of all the conflict that comes with mature with mind diamonds.
- 6:18Speaker 1: So all of my jewelry is made with with love
- 6:21Speaker 1: grown diamonds and all of that. So the people that
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach, our women are the modern woman,
- 6:27Speaker 1: the women. They are conscious about what they wear, they
- 6:31Speaker 1: want to they want to pay a fair price, they
- 6:34Speaker 1: want to get good quality, they want to get luxury. Um.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So my business model when I started this jelry line
- 6:41Speaker 1: was like, I could create a brand and then I
- 6:43Speaker 1: could sell, you know to the retail and then I
- 6:46Speaker 1: could go ahead and sell to big wholesale stores. But
- 6:50Speaker 1: why should I? Why would I do that? So what
- 6:53Speaker 1: I what I decided to do, was like, I'm gonna
- 6:56Speaker 1: cut off the middleman and I'm gonna sell this amazing
- 6:59Speaker 1: jewelry too people directly online. So it's a diractrical summer brand.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It's affordable, and it's luxurious. So I'm looking for the
- 7:08Speaker 1: model the woman. I'm looking for the people that are
- 7:10Speaker 1: conscious about quality and their conscious conscious about about how
- 7:16Speaker 1: they spend their money as well, you know, like you said,
- 7:18Speaker 1: crafted from eighteen care gold and ethnically crafted diamonds and
- 7:22Speaker 1: gemstones offers a one of calm jewelry experience designed for
- 7:26Speaker 1: the modern one, as she stated earlier, compromising a unique
- 7:29Speaker 1: series of collection. Each design is inspired by women of
- 7:32Speaker 1: the world, travelers, adventure seekers, and dreamers, with each distinct
- 7:36Speaker 1: piece corresponding to transcendent, elegant journeys. You know, I make
- 7:42Speaker 1: that statement because as a buyer, I'm gonna tell you
- 7:45Speaker 1: right now, be mean. I know nothing about yours, and
- 7:49Speaker 1: it scares me when I look at jewelry because I
- 7:52Speaker 1: don't have a reference. And I know about clothes. I
- 7:55Speaker 1: know my tailor, Bay clothes. I know a boy love
- 7:57Speaker 1: the bags. I know by cars, I know by houses.
- 8:00Speaker 1: When it comes to jewelry, view, you're looking at a
- 8:02Speaker 1: big dummy right here, and that's most people. It's how you?
- 8:08Speaker 1: How can you help me too? Because I'm cherious. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: go into jewel I will walk past. I look at
- 8:15Speaker 1: the watch when it comes to them, those diamonds and
- 8:19Speaker 1: ear rings, and how can you? How can you help
- 8:22Speaker 1: a guy like me that really doesn't as smart as
- 8:25Speaker 1: a whip. Now, when it comes to economics, comes to planning,
- 8:29Speaker 1: comes to building careers, and saying marketing Campcaign. When it
- 8:33Speaker 1: comes to what you're talking about, I'm like, ahhh baby, yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 1: well um, and that's most people. That was me before
- 8:44Speaker 1: I actually got into thank you. And it's it's one
- 8:53Speaker 1: of those things, because you know, the diamonds industry is
- 8:57Speaker 1: controlled by some really big powerful corporations. They don't want
- 9:03Speaker 1: they don't want you to know the boodies, you know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: they don't want you to know that the bad aspects
- 9:11Speaker 1: of it. They only want you to know the diamonds
- 9:14Speaker 1: are beautiful and they should spend a lot of money
- 9:16Speaker 1: on them. They want you to think the diamonds are rare.
- 9:19Speaker 1: They are not rare. Mind, diamonds, They're not rare. That's
- 9:22Speaker 1: all a lie. And and I thought that as well.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I I thought that as well. Um, the diamonds industries
- 9:30Speaker 1: is basically made by uh phenomenal marketing strategy. But the
- 9:37Speaker 1: reality is, diamonds are not rare. UH. Gold mining destroyed communities,
- 9:43Speaker 1: uh in a way that you can't even begin to understand.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And diamond mining destroyed many communities, and and and there's
- 9:51Speaker 1: a massive, massive history of slavery that goes with it,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and child labor and people just I don't know about
- 10:02Speaker 1: it because of the marketing strategies and also because it's
- 10:05Speaker 1: easier not knowing about it right. So when when I
- 10:10Speaker 1: launched you a diviv Um, even though I already had
- 10:13Speaker 1: I had lunch with storms. I was doing amazing with
- 10:16Speaker 1: my first jewelr Religne, which was the one that that
- 10:19Speaker 1: you know, I was a business partner with my ex husband.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And then when I had to read them myself and
- 10:23Speaker 1: create this new jewel Religne that did include diamonds and
- 10:27Speaker 1: gold and all of that, I had to dig in deep.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I had to educate myself to understand exactly what I
- 10:35Speaker 1: was gonna do with my materials and where they were
- 10:38Speaker 1: coming from and what kind of practices were being uh
- 10:43Speaker 1: used on getting them here to my studio for me
- 10:47Speaker 1: to be able to make my jewelry to my clients.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And at that point when I dug in, I learned
- 10:55Speaker 1: how boody and discussing this right and it's it's as
- 11:03Speaker 1: like it's disgusting. So that's when I want I was like, Okay,
- 11:10Speaker 1: if I'm going to do jewelry, I need to find
- 11:13Speaker 1: a way to do it the right way. So for example,
- 11:17Speaker 1: we have a history of you know, gold mining, destroying communities.
- 11:21Speaker 1: And that's that's not just like it Africa, No, that's
- 11:25Speaker 1: also here another state. We have like a massive gold
- 11:28Speaker 1: mine uh in in in Utah that if you if
- 11:32Speaker 1: you look it up, it's like communities around it have
- 11:36Speaker 1: been devastated and people have been poisoned. It's it's incredible.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Um so. I all of our jewelry is made with
- 11:44Speaker 1: actual recycled gold um so. That is basically uh lowering
- 11:52Speaker 1: the need of mining new gold um so that that
- 11:58Speaker 1: was one way that we found to to help with
- 12:00Speaker 1: that issue. Then with the with the mind's diamonds, and
- 12:04Speaker 1: then you know today there's so much availability of a
- 12:08Speaker 1: fine jewelry a line and you go into a lot
- 12:10Speaker 1: of these stores are very affordable and they're gonna they
- 12:12Speaker 1: always have ethical minds diamonds. And when they say say that,
- 12:17Speaker 1: they basically say, um, they use diamonds to have they
- 12:21Speaker 1: Kimberly process certification. But basically, when I started learning about
- 12:25Speaker 1: the Kimberley process, what they do is that they will
- 12:29Speaker 1: certify a batch of diamonds and then you really don't
- 12:33Speaker 1: know where those diamonds are coming from. You don't know
- 12:35Speaker 1: who minded, you don't know how they were minded. You
- 12:39Speaker 1: don't know if he was a child, if he was
- 12:40Speaker 1: an adult. So even though there's a certification that ethical,
- 12:45Speaker 1: is it really ethical? It's if there's no way for
- 12:49Speaker 1: you to know all. So that's when I was like, Okay,
- 12:52Speaker 1: today the etc. Have said that you cannot call a
- 12:58Speaker 1: diamond uh natural or unnatural anymore. It's either mind or
- 13:04Speaker 1: live love grown, because they are the same. If it's
- 13:07Speaker 1: a love grown diamonds, it's a it's a diamonds grown
- 13:10Speaker 1: in a chamber in a in a in a high
- 13:12Speaker 1: pressure chamber, exactly like the one created you know on earth.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So so the thing is we have something that's back
- 13:22Speaker 1: the same thing. Um, people still don't understand that. It's
- 13:25Speaker 1: a challenge actually educating people to understand who outgrown diamonds
- 13:28Speaker 1: are a real diamonds. So why are we using the
- 13:31Speaker 1: diamonds that that that destroy communities, that cure kids, that
- 13:36Speaker 1: use child glavery? While are we using those diamonds? Why
- 13:39Speaker 1: are we using the diamonds that we don't know where
- 13:41Speaker 1: they're coming from. So that's where I started working directly
- 13:44Speaker 1: with the diamond UH makers. Now in a lot grown
- 13:49Speaker 1: diamonds growers should be able to make our diamonds and
- 13:53Speaker 1: with that, we're able to track the diamonds back to
- 13:57Speaker 1: exactly it's the exact uh beginning. So when it was
- 14:02Speaker 1: a little a little seed and it goes into a chamber,
- 14:05Speaker 1: who is working on that chamber, what's the name of
- 14:08Speaker 1: that person, how long it took. We know everything about
- 14:12Speaker 1: that diamonds from from beginning to end. So that gave
- 14:16Speaker 1: us a traceability uh the process that we really feel
- 14:22Speaker 1: comfortable with the products, products that we're selling. But again
- 14:26Speaker 1: I didn't know any of that until I started making
- 14:29Speaker 1: it right, so most people don't, and that's that's one
- 14:32Speaker 1: of the biggest challenges in the industry what we're coming,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you know, when we're talking about sustainable time jewelry, because
- 14:40Speaker 1: we need to advocate people. But it's come a long way.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So I'm actually very confident that in the next few
- 14:46Speaker 1: years we're gonna even go forth further and in that
- 14:50Speaker 1: aspect of things. You know, the thing thing about it
- 14:52Speaker 1: because a lot of people come in mind. So I
- 14:53Speaker 1: rarely have jewelry people on my show because I did
- 14:58Speaker 1: the backstory and that' on a very honest person, a
- 15:01Speaker 1: very person who cares about the community, a person who
- 15:04Speaker 1: makes impactful gestures about her brand and what she tries
- 15:09Speaker 1: to do if success comes away. She shares in infl instance,
- 15:13Speaker 1: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and you can say
- 15:17Speaker 1: off statewide on her website and ten percent of all
- 15:21Speaker 1: October sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. That's what
- 15:26Speaker 1: that's important to me to say to people because my
- 15:29Speaker 1: part of my life since I was eighteen years old
- 15:31Speaker 1: has always been giving back, has always been tied to uplifting.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I don't know why I did it, Vivian, it was
- 15:36Speaker 1: just part of my DNA, and I feel it's important
- 15:39Speaker 1: that we understand that with success it has to be
- 15:42Speaker 1: a shared experience to me, because everybody doesn't not get it,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and everybody is not gonna be a millionaire our thousand.
- 15:48Speaker 1: There are a lot of people out there just going
- 15:50Speaker 1: struggle all their lives, and so the ones we have
- 15:52Speaker 1: figured it out that I figured you're one of those
- 15:55Speaker 1: people who has figured it out. And I'm not saying
- 15:57Speaker 1: you Bill Gates, but you figured it out. An have
- 16:00Speaker 1: to be able to share and be responsible in your
- 16:02Speaker 1: goals of sharing and being a philanthroper when it comes
- 16:06Speaker 1: up fromanthropists, when it comes to being able to share,
- 16:10Speaker 1: your will talk about the importance of October breast cancer
- 16:13Speaker 1: to your brain into you well, Uh, for me, I
- 16:18Speaker 1: have a very personal uh relationship with with breast cancer
- 16:25Speaker 1: because I've had in my life several people that uh
- 16:30Speaker 1: had to struggle with with breast cancer. And to me,
- 16:34Speaker 1: as as you just mentioned, I mean, there's no point
- 16:38Speaker 1: of chasing success in life if when you find it,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you're not going to share with other thingles that needed uh.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And and for me, like since I started my my
- 16:51Speaker 1: jewelry line, you know before it was the Stormcline Dewelry
- 16:54Speaker 1: A knowledge what you know. The first month for Stormsine Jewelry,
- 16:58Speaker 1: we actually donated I like thirty tho dollars to make
- 17:02Speaker 1: a wish uh and to help you know, kids they
- 17:05Speaker 1: need out there, like and we do it all the time. UM.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So I have specific, very specific foundations are very close
- 17:14Speaker 1: to my heart. One of them is make a wish
- 17:17Speaker 1: uh And every time we do a donation, we get
- 17:20Speaker 1: a little clique called the Story of the kids that
- 17:22Speaker 1: we're able to give that wish and it's just it
- 17:25Speaker 1: just fills my heart, uh that we were able to
- 17:29Speaker 1: help with with that. Um. The second one is send
- 17:34Speaker 1: you and what they do for kids with cancer and
- 17:38Speaker 1: critical conditions. There's like I don't even have words to explain, um,
- 17:43Speaker 1: how grateful I am for what they do. And the
- 17:47Speaker 1: third one is when it comes to breast cancer. And
- 17:49Speaker 1: we do support several breast cancer foundations. This one is
- 17:52Speaker 1: the one that we we we picked for this year,
- 17:56Speaker 1: but we try doing, you know, as much as we can. Um.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And yeah, I think that it's important that in October,
- 18:03Speaker 1: you know, smaller and bigger brands come together and bring
- 18:07Speaker 1: awareness to this issue. And it's able to to to
- 18:11Speaker 1: to raise enough money to help with their research. So
- 18:14Speaker 1: maybe possibly one day we can get ahead of it,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you know, and find the cure and and and help.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Uh these women that have to go through it, and
- 18:25Speaker 1: sometimes they're able to beat it, sometimes they're not. And
- 18:28Speaker 1: this woman our mothers, their sisters, they are you know,
- 18:32Speaker 1: their daughters and and it could be me, so mom
- 18:37Speaker 1: and I and my sister. She was a person who
- 18:40Speaker 1: was a victim of breast cancer and a good friend
- 18:42Speaker 1: of mine recently was a victim of it. And you know,
- 18:45Speaker 1: I'm not just saying. I know, I'm a big fan
- 18:48Speaker 1: of Vivian, it's just stuff I'm talking about because of
- 18:50Speaker 1: the fact that it's the fact that you care, the
- 18:52Speaker 1: fact that you think about other than buying a car
- 18:55Speaker 1: or house. That's not at the priority list of your
- 18:58Speaker 1: everyday thought process. It's about running your business, being a
- 19:01Speaker 1: powerful mother, and being also being able to share your
- 19:05Speaker 1: success by offering opportunities for other people to have a
- 19:08Speaker 1: good life. And that's what this conversation is about. And
- 19:11Speaker 1: you know you've been you know, your your your story
- 19:14Speaker 1: has been sharing in Vanity Fair and for Forbes, Town
- 19:18Speaker 1: and Country, your whole life, you know, and it's in
- 19:20Speaker 1: You're the best sustainable jewelry brand you can buy today.
- 19:24Speaker 1: When they say that about your company, I know it's
- 19:27Speaker 1: a big smile come across your face, but it also
- 19:30Speaker 1: has to be I told you, I told you. Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It's like I got good bumps right now because I mean,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I truly believe that, you know, life is at working
- 19:42Speaker 1: in progress. I think that we never we never stopped
- 19:46Speaker 1: growing right And uh, you know a year ago today,
- 19:50Speaker 1: when we were launching these brands, Rushan like it was
- 19:54Speaker 1: a disaster. We did not sell a dime for six months.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I we were like, literally I put a million dollars
- 20:02Speaker 1: of my money every time that we had I put
- 20:05Speaker 1: a million dollars into this brand, and then in six
- 20:08Speaker 1: months we had no sales. We did we had a
- 20:11Speaker 1: massive team, we had a phenomenal team, and nothing was happening.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Into one day that I said, you know what, I'm
- 20:17Speaker 1: just gonna do something else because now I you know,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I have a million dollars year, had five hundred thousand
- 20:22Speaker 1: dollars of that, and and I mean, I'm a serial entrepreneur,
- 20:25Speaker 1: so I've been there several times. I know what I
- 20:28Speaker 1: have to do to get out of the whole. But
- 20:29Speaker 1: you know, you still you still, you still shake when
- 20:33Speaker 1: you get there. And and then that's when I opened
- 20:36Speaker 1: my my other company. I own my financial company as well,
- 20:39Speaker 1: ide a financial Group. And then my other other company
- 20:42Speaker 1: took off like a rocket. And that's when I decided
- 20:45Speaker 1: that I was gonna close you other Vivien, even though
- 20:48Speaker 1: it is my second child for me, it was very
- 20:51Speaker 1: hard because I was like, Okay, this is not working.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna close them, gonna put a fifty percent off discounts,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'll sell everything out, and then I'm going to concentrate
- 20:59Speaker 1: on this company of here because it's doing really well.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And then when the company took off and now to
- 21:06Speaker 1: see how amazing it's doing when we really really really
- 21:10Speaker 1: hit rock bottom and we thought there was no getting
- 21:13Speaker 1: back from that. It's truly it gives me good bumps
- 21:18Speaker 1: to think that. Um, you know, it's all about your mindset,
- 21:23Speaker 1: it's all about how hard you work, it's all about
- 21:25Speaker 1: your believing in yourself. And now when I get these
- 21:29Speaker 1: unbelievable uh you know, brands and media and editors writing
- 21:35Speaker 1: things like we're the best sustainable brand you can buy today,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I have no words to explain how grateful I am
- 21:42Speaker 1: because you started correct. We we we did a soft
- 21:49Speaker 1: lunch in October, um. The actual lunch was in December. UM,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and in it was actually around April. There were are like, okay,
- 22:01Speaker 1: we're closing in and that's and that's when we exploded.
- 22:06Speaker 1: So that's exploded now because whenever I whenever I invite
- 22:10Speaker 1: people on the show, I would like to go to
- 22:12Speaker 1: their websites, because the website tell a story about their
- 22:15Speaker 1: brands and how they market, and there the story they're
- 22:18Speaker 1: trying to tell about their success. The reason I brought
- 22:20Speaker 1: up the fact that she says soft launch in October,
- 22:23Speaker 1: December kind of rolled out April frustration set in, uh,
- 22:28Speaker 1: this time to go to another direction. Now we're talking
- 22:30Speaker 1: and celebrating them and and donating the charities right now.
- 22:35Speaker 1: On her website, she has real reviews from real customers.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Right she said April, it really kind of took off.
- 22:42Speaker 1: She has five hundred and three reviews. Look, did y'all
- 22:47Speaker 1: hear me? Did y'all did y'all hear me? But I
- 22:49Speaker 1: just said five hundred and three. This says she's not
- 22:52Speaker 1: selling toilet paper, She's not selling the ham burgers, she's
- 22:56Speaker 1: not chilling Chick fil a wings. She is luxury jew
- 23:02Speaker 1: line necklaces, rings. You know, five hundred and three reviews.
- 23:07Speaker 1: And the reason I love it is the fact that
- 23:10Speaker 1: you know, like one of them just three hours ago,
- 23:12Speaker 1: one was two days ago, one was five days ago.
- 23:14Speaker 1: So it means that she is bold enough to tell
- 23:18Speaker 1: you when they're coming in. That's our confidence, and she
- 23:21Speaker 1: isn't our brand to let you know. I have no
- 23:23Speaker 1: reason to lae about what I do. I have people
- 23:27Speaker 1: who believe in my brain. They posted by my brain.
- 23:29Speaker 1: They tell them they are positive customers. That is really See,
- 23:33Speaker 1: there's an openness about you viving it. I just love
- 23:36Speaker 1: Where did that come from? Well? I really truly believe
- 23:42Speaker 1: that we need to be a transparent in everything in life,
- 23:46Speaker 1: right and I and I and I think that word
- 23:48Speaker 1: of mouth is still the best market marketing you can have,
- 23:53Speaker 1: so for me and I mean, just so you have
- 23:55Speaker 1: an idea that the percentage of people that actually write
- 24:00Speaker 1: reviews after they receive the product is really only about
- 24:05Speaker 1: five percent. The majority of the people that buy our
- 24:09Speaker 1: jewelry don't write reviews. Right now, we're selling anywhere from
- 24:13Speaker 1: five to seven hundred pieces a month, and the majority
- 24:17Speaker 1: of those items, people are awaiting four to six weeks,
- 24:21Speaker 1: six to eight weeks to receive them because we can't
- 24:23Speaker 1: make them fast enough. Because it's so I know that
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know, and people need to understand
- 24:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying. In April, she was frustrated. So we're
- 24:35Speaker 1: talking really May, June, July, August, September, five hundred and
- 24:41Speaker 1: three reviews. That's roughly a hundred and three people of
- 24:45Speaker 1: a hundred people a month screaming that they love this woman,
- 24:48Speaker 1: love her jewelry, love what she's doing, love her brand.
- 24:53Speaker 1: That's an incredible number. I know you're selling seven hundred
- 24:57Speaker 1: pieces of a a month, but for a hundred people a
- 24:59Speaker 1: month to I'm back one of them just three hours ago,
- 25:03Speaker 1: three hours ago. You know what I'm saying, talking about
- 25:05Speaker 1: how they love this. That is important and I just
- 25:08Speaker 1: wanted to say that because publicly people don't do this.
- 25:11Speaker 1: People don't people don't expose themselves on that. You could
- 25:13Speaker 1: just go, you know, yelp. I'm talking like things like, yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 1: this is the same thing here. You have people go
- 25:17Speaker 1: to the restaurant, they don't like it, they tell you
- 25:19Speaker 1: they don't like it, they tell you they love it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Five three in less than five months. That's all I'm
- 25:24Speaker 1: just saying. I'm just complimenting you. It's all. I'm a fan.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I'm a fan. I'm a fan. To make conversation, so
- 25:30Speaker 1: you have to say I'm a fan, I'm a fan. Yeah.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I love it because it's transparent because people actually get
- 25:38Speaker 1: to write what they feel and then other people and
- 25:40Speaker 1: then it's awesome when people actually post videos and pictures
- 25:44Speaker 1: as well other people see how they look on on
- 25:50Speaker 1: their hands and they're not on everything. So yeah, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: think it's very important that there is that transparency factor
- 25:58Speaker 1: in there so people understand and how the item and
- 26:01Speaker 1: the jewelry is in real life. So so now we're
- 26:05Speaker 1: now we were all we have a level plan field
- 26:08Speaker 1: with this online business. We e commerce type business. What's
- 26:11Speaker 1: the future of your brand? The future is UM. It's amazing.
- 26:17Speaker 1: We are working on a few different things right now.
- 26:21Speaker 1: M I actually just got engaged in Desta, so I'm
- 26:25Speaker 1: very excited. And uh we were launching an engagement ring
- 26:29Speaker 1: collection on which I I'm in the very first one
- 26:34Speaker 1: of them UM, which was made by by my brand
- 26:37Speaker 1: and dying there. Uh So we're launching Increadible engagement ring
- 26:42Speaker 1: collection coming January. Then we're launching another collection of every
- 26:48Speaker 1: jewelry pieces that are a bolder, heavier as well as
- 26:53Speaker 1: well as a collection with assassires and movies and and
- 26:57Speaker 1: and we're creating these in perfect but women and suppliers
- 27:05Speaker 1: that we want to empower and we want to work
- 27:08Speaker 1: with as well as black owned business because it's it's
- 27:11Speaker 1: a very big passion of mine to work with women
- 27:15Speaker 1: and and minorities. I'm a minority, I'm Alaxina. I'm a woman,
- 27:19Speaker 1: and I work very hard and I'm getting where I
- 27:21Speaker 1: want to. So I want to empower as much as
- 27:23Speaker 1: I can. Amazing people around me that are doing the same. Um, so,
- 27:29Speaker 1: so yeah, we have some new collections coming up. We
- 27:31Speaker 1: are working on on on working with some big, big
- 27:36Speaker 1: publications that are gonna be writing and talking about us
- 27:39Speaker 1: as well, and possibly some collaborations with some unbelievable people
- 27:44Speaker 1: that I can't really talk about just yet. But yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 1: the future Rights were very excited. Uh. We think two
- 27:51Speaker 1: thousand twenty one is going to be an incredible year.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And right now we're getting ready for to four for holidays,
- 27:59Speaker 1: Christmas and um and I have a feeling that this
- 28:02Speaker 1: Christmas gone very different than the one last year. Awesome, awesome,
- 28:07Speaker 1: Hey Vivian, Uh, I'm uh, you know, I'm just a marketer.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I don't I want to post your story on my
- 28:14Speaker 1: social media. I want to post your story, uh in
- 28:17Speaker 1: my newsletter that goes out twice a month. And uh,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stand but a big den in your
- 28:24Speaker 1: your self. But I think it's all about branding. It's
- 28:26Speaker 1: all about people letting people know about your story. And
- 28:28Speaker 1: if you don't mind money making conversation, tell your story
- 28:31Speaker 1: to my my my fan base, because I welcome your personality,
- 28:35Speaker 1: welcome who you are, and I want to continue to
- 28:37Speaker 1: be a fan, a fan because of the fact that
- 28:40Speaker 1: you're doing more than just luxury jewy lines. You're recycling.
- 28:45Speaker 1: You're concerned about the health, about young people, about the
- 28:49Speaker 1: future of our environment, and that needs to be re excited.
- 28:53Speaker 1: And also, community involvement is about empowering women, is about
- 28:57Speaker 1: empowering people who are less, who don't have voices, and
- 29:01Speaker 1: more importantly, serving part of your success to people who
- 29:06Speaker 1: need it financially. Applause. I love it, Thank you, thank
- 29:10Speaker 1: you you. I would love that. And yes, I think
- 29:14Speaker 1: that if we all put our heads together and work
- 29:17Speaker 1: together to make the world a better place, we can
- 29:21Speaker 1: do it. You know, one person at a time, one
- 29:24Speaker 1: hands together, you know, two hands together at a time,
- 29:27Speaker 1: and we can really uh make a difference. But we
- 29:31Speaker 1: have to go ahead and do it right. We will
- 29:34Speaker 1: be we will be there. I'm a friend. Uh please
- 29:37Speaker 1: give me some banners. My newsletter goes on Wednesday. Get
- 29:40Speaker 1: some banners to me and uh so I can put
- 29:42Speaker 1: it in there and uh put them on social media.

- 29:47Speaker 1: I know you're gonna do some great times these these
- 29:49Speaker 1: days here, and I want to thank you for blessing
- 29:52Speaker 1: me with this interview and I'm a fan Vivian. I'm
