- 1:01Speaker 6: I love you you. You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 5: To turn the mouth, the turn you've probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 5: turn about, turn out, turn the water the wa aga.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come on, come on, you think that? Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 2: sure will. Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 2: Come on, dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 2: got a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:18Speaker 2: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:22Speaker 2: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
- 2:27Speaker 2: you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:30Speaker 2: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:32Speaker 2: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:36Speaker 2: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 2: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:44Speaker 2: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:47Speaker 2: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:51Speaker 2: displayed in my life, the protection he's given me. Over
- 2:55Speaker 2: the years to being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:58Speaker 2: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 2: all the goodness that I perceive to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 2: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 2: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 2: put out in the space, and what you pray about
- 3:17Speaker 2: is what you receive. You know, and so I've become
- 3:20Speaker 2: better and better at that. It's not to say that
- 3:23Speaker 2: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 2: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 2: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 2: going to do and say, and and all of is his.
- 3:35Speaker 2: That's not to say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But I try to dwell mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 2: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 2: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 2: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:55Speaker 2: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 2: of my life, and I was taking myself in the
- 4:02Speaker 2: directions that I thought would be best for me, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:10Speaker 2: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:14Speaker 2: to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:19Speaker 2: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:23Speaker 2: and my spirit to what God had for me, For
- 4:28Speaker 2: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:31Speaker 2: do in my life, well, for what God wanted for me.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Now he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 2: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 2: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 2: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 2: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 2: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 2: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 2: be nearly as demanding as offsetting as you think it's
- 5:01Speaker 2: gonna be. See. I thought that if I did God's will,
- 5:05Speaker 2: that if I let God tell me what to do,
- 5:08Speaker 2: that it would cause me to not to be able
- 5:10Speaker 2: to do a certain some things I wanted to do well,
- 5:13Speaker 2: which is true. But the stuff I wanted to do
- 5:16Speaker 2: was all detrimental to my well being and my future
- 5:19Speaker 2: and my growth and development as a man. I was
- 5:23Speaker 2: stopping my own growth as a man because See, I
- 5:25Speaker 2: was doing what I thought I should do as a man.
- 5:29Speaker 2: But when you give it over to God. See, God
- 5:31Speaker 2: has a much better plan for you than you can
- 5:33Speaker 2: ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
- 5:36Speaker 2: far better than the one you know. I want you
- 5:38Speaker 2: to believe that. Man. You got to understand that part
- 5:40Speaker 2: of it. And that's the part that I finally got
- 5:43Speaker 2: through my head to let God do it his way
- 5:46Speaker 2: and to show me a better way, and to teach
- 5:49Speaker 2: me a better way and expose to me a better way.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And when I opened up my mind to what God
- 5:55Speaker 2: was talking about, I began to see things totally differently,
- 6:00Speaker 2: started coming to me totally differently. If you've been a
- 6:04Speaker 2: friend of mine or a fan of mine over the years,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I mean, you've had to see it, the change. You've
- 6:10Speaker 2: had to see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge
- 6:14Speaker 2: that every chance I get, because I promised God I would,
- 6:18Speaker 2: and I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
- 6:21Speaker 2: But then again, if I told it all day long,
- 6:24Speaker 2: would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
- 6:26Speaker 2: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
- 6:30Speaker 2: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
- 6:34Speaker 2: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
- 6:38Speaker 2: or I'm complete, because I'm still shock. You can't be him.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:45Speaker 2: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:48Speaker 2: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
- 6:51Speaker 2: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 6:53Speaker 2: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 6:57Speaker 2: of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
- 7:00Speaker 2: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
- 7:03Speaker 2: have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
- 7:05Speaker 2: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See,
- 7:08Speaker 2: you got to get that part right, man, The stumbling
- 7:10Speaker 2: falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
- 7:13Speaker 2: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll,
- 7:18Speaker 2: over lay their languish. That's what God is for. So
- 7:23Speaker 2: when you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because you're
- 7:26Speaker 2: going to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong,
- 7:30Speaker 2: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 2: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:37Speaker 2: going to happen to you the moment you make a
- 7:40Speaker 2: decision to do better the moment you try to be more.
- 7:44Speaker 2: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
- 7:47Speaker 2: controls certain people. He just got people that's on his
- 7:50Speaker 2: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:54Speaker 2: met one or two of men in your life. They
- 7:56Speaker 2: just busy with the business of nothingness. They just busy
- 8:00Speaker 2: about the about the destruction of others. You said, I
- 8:04Speaker 2: know them, you know them. They coming. But here's what
- 8:07Speaker 2: you gotta hold fast too. They can't take away nothing
- 8:11Speaker 2: from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
- 8:15Speaker 2: people who claim to have made you, if they so
- 8:19Speaker 2: in to make you business, why don't they make theyself?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Or if they ain't with you no more? And they
- 8:25Speaker 2: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
- 8:28Speaker 2: they make somebody else? Since you want to get credit
- 8:32Speaker 2: for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
- 8:38Speaker 2: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 8:40Speaker 2: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
- 8:44Speaker 2: careful of that. Don't and don't don't change your course
- 8:48Speaker 2: because somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope man,
- 8:52Speaker 2: that I'm giving it to God the way I said
- 8:54Speaker 2: I would give it to him. That I would unload
- 8:56Speaker 2: every chance I got that I was supposed to without
- 8:59Speaker 2: being you know, or hear he come again? You know.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I try not to be that, but man, I don't
- 9:04Speaker 2: know what else to be for the first twelve minutes
- 9:06Speaker 2: of my show? What else you want me to say?
- 9:08Speaker 2: I got four hours? I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:12Speaker 2: I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:14Speaker 2: let's look at this right here. If you given honor
- 9:17Speaker 2: to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he
- 9:21Speaker 2: gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and
- 9:24Speaker 2: breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes
- 9:27Speaker 2: to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.
- 9:30Speaker 2: What in exchange? What a wonderful life God has given
- 9:34Speaker 2: me in exchange for so small of effort that I
- 9:37Speaker 2: put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put
- 9:39Speaker 2: forth to God seems so dawning that you don't attempt
- 9:42Speaker 2: to do it, because man, it seems like a lot.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
- 9:46Speaker 2: us for real. So if you want a real life,
- 9:48Speaker 2: you want a real shot at what you can be,
- 9:50Speaker 2: what you can have, what you can own, what you
- 9:52Speaker 2: can become who you really are. Go to God, let
- 9:55Speaker 2: him fix you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Man. That's all your listenings with the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. It's a new day, a new beginning,
- 10:07Speaker 2: a new opportunity, another chance, another gift, another moment of
- 10:12Speaker 2: grace and favor from God that He has allowed us,
- 10:16Speaker 2: all of us to still be here. And I'm so
- 10:19Speaker 2: glad about it. Man. I'm pretty sure you know some
- 10:22Speaker 2: people that you love deally that are no longer here
- 10:25Speaker 2: and you miss him and you grieve for him. Understand that,
- 10:30Speaker 2: yes I do. But ain't you glad though that God
- 10:34Speaker 2: gave them to you for whatever amount of time you
- 10:37Speaker 2: had them, and you got some great memories from it, hopefully,
- 10:40Speaker 2: and you've learned some things from it, hopefully, And for
- 10:43Speaker 2: that we say thank you Lord and move on. Welcome
- 10:46Speaker 2: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shelton Strawberry, Colinfreil, Mississippi,
- 10:49Speaker 2: Monica Junior, and the Legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:54Speaker 7: You know what, Uncle heard something that made me think
- 10:56Speaker 7: about you, man.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Somebody said, yeah, it's talking about it in the street.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Somebody told me.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Go ahead, you They said it's not a lie if
- 11:12Speaker 8: you believe it.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I said.
- 11:16Speaker 7: If that ain't, Uncle Steve to the truth. It ain't
- 11:20Speaker 7: a lie.
- 11:21Speaker 8: If you believe it's everybody else, prober, that's what it is.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Well, power, No, junior, that's not a true statement. A minute.
- 11:32Speaker 2: You've never you've never heard me say.
- 11:38Speaker 9: A lie.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Ain't a lie if you believe it. You ain't never
- 11:42Speaker 2: heard me say that, foolish that that's a lie. It's
- 11:47Speaker 2: still a lie that must be told. That's now that,
- 11:56Speaker 2: like Shirley said, due to circumstances, there are lies that
- 12:02Speaker 2: have to be told. But it's still a lie. Though.
- 12:04Speaker 2: What you have to do is have a level of
- 12:07Speaker 2: commitment to the lie so convincing committee that it sounds
- 12:16Speaker 2: like the truth. Yeah, I'll give you an example. Ask
- 12:20Speaker 2: me anything. I'm gonna lie, but watch our lie.

- 12:33Speaker 10: all right.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Well we would never know either way.
- 12:37Speaker 2: No, I don't have.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Why was that a difficult lie for you?
- 12:42Speaker 2: I told him question I was gonna see then I
- 12:47Speaker 2: can't ask another question?
- 12:50Speaker 11: Boy, you can lie your way out of anything.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Sir, let's go.

- 15:29Speaker 15: This is my husband.
- 15:30Speaker 16: But who is who is off of sadans?
- 15:32Speaker 13: I am Officer Daniels Man he's your husband's actually being
- 15:35Speaker 13: pulled over and he's been uh, actually he's in another
- 15:39Speaker 13: officer's car. He's uh, he's a little bit inebriated here
- 15:43Speaker 13: and we're trying to see about getting them picked up.
- 15:45Speaker 13: I'm trying my best not to take him in today,
- 15:47Speaker 13: so I'm trying to be a good Samaritan and I'm
- 15:49Speaker 13: trying to get someone to come and pick him up.
- 15:50Speaker 16: Hold on, hold on, hold on, backup, back up.
- 15:54Speaker 17: You got my husband?
- 15:55Speaker 13: Uh what I got here on the driver's license is.
- 15:58Speaker 16: Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now.
- 16:01Speaker 13: He's actually an Officer Brian's squad car right now. So
- 16:05Speaker 13: he was actually uh bobbing and weaving out on the
- 16:07Speaker 13: road and we pulled him over. He's not creating any problems.
- 16:11Speaker 13: The young lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're truck,
- 16:14Speaker 13: what we're trying to do is get somebody to come
- 16:16Speaker 13: and pick him up.
- 16:16Speaker 16: You have my husband because my husband is at work,
- 16:19Speaker 16: so he can't be in no Officer Brian or in
- 16:21Speaker 16: your car.
- 16:22Speaker 4: And that cooks.
- 16:23Speaker 16: Did you say tim again? Did you say somebody was
- 16:25Speaker 16: with Kenny?
- 16:26Speaker 13: There is there was a young lady in the car man,
- 16:28Speaker 13: we're actually letting her go because she's not inebriated. Uh
- 16:32Speaker 13: from the look over it, somebody she's calling somebody to
- 16:35Speaker 13: pick her up.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Now.

- 18:15Speaker 16: on wait right now, right now, I be there in
- 18:18Speaker 16: a minute.
- 18:19Speaker 15: Well, that took my picked.
- 18:21Speaker 16: Up that the day we done had arguments over this.
- 18:25Speaker 15: It better not be that.
- 18:27Speaker 16: If better not, I bet you it better not be her.
- 18:30Speaker 13: It better not be her.
- 18:31Speaker 16: I'm on my way.
- 18:32Speaker 4: I'll be there in a minute. I be there.

- 22:48Speaker 11: come back until four pm on Saturday. He did not
- 22:51Speaker 11: answer my calls or his son's calls. My stepson said
- 22:56Speaker 11: he thinks he got arrested. My husband said, it's a
- 22:58Speaker 11: long story. Can that be it? And he's ashamed to
- 23:02Speaker 11: tell me? Why won't my husband talk to me?
- 23:06Speaker 2: You better get that long earth Well, long stories always
- 23:13Speaker 2: lead to long conversations, which stems from a long interrogation.
- 23:23Speaker 2: He don't really have the whole story together yet because
- 23:28Speaker 2: it's so many hours he got to account for. If
- 23:31Speaker 2: you leave a house Friday, don't nobody hear or see
- 23:35Speaker 2: you again into Saturday at four. See, that's a lot
- 23:39Speaker 2: of time to come. It's different. It's different from explaining
- 23:43Speaker 2: why you come in at two three in the morning.
- 23:46Speaker 2: If that's a six hour window, you can figure six
- 23:48Speaker 2: hour lives. It's easy to come up with the day. Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 2: if the sunlight comes up on a new day, that's
- 23:57Speaker 2: a whole another life. Now we're talking about nine outs.
- 24:00Speaker 2: You at nine, you were supposed to be back at
- 24:02Speaker 2: six in the morning, sun coming up, and you're just
- 24:05Speaker 2: coming in. That's a whole nother lie. Now you don't
- 24:07Speaker 2: let the whole morning go by and it's for in
- 24:11Speaker 2: the evening. We didn't if itn't do twenty four hours.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Hard to come up with a twenty four hours.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And he's answering phone calls. Don't forget that hurt.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, See what he should have did was he should
- 24:26Speaker 2: have had intermittent phone calls and produce intermitten lies and
- 24:33Speaker 2: he would have been alright in ejail like for an example, Well,
- 24:39Speaker 2: he wasn't in jail, because that's what you ain't even
- 24:41Speaker 2: got to lie. Yeah, he was just in jail for
- 24:47Speaker 2: what whatever it was. It wasn't you know, unless she
- 24:50Speaker 2: was in that for solicitation that we got. It's layers.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Too much.
- 25:00Speaker 2: You've got to say you wasn't picking her over, trying
- 25:03Speaker 2: to help her out. You thought she was just walking
- 25:06Speaker 2: and lead it out.
- 25:09Speaker 11: All right, we're moving on because this is not working,
- 25:13Speaker 11: all right, Adrian in East Texas.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Rights.
- 25:16Speaker 11: I'm taking swim lessons and my instructor happens to have
- 25:19Speaker 11: a great body. My husband saw him for the first
- 25:22Speaker 11: time and he went off on me. He wants me
- 25:26Speaker 11: to find another teacher, and I refuse to. Should I
- 25:29Speaker 11: listen to my husband to keep the peace? Oh fine, yeah,
- 25:35Speaker 11: took the words right out of our mouths that you
- 25:38Speaker 11: got aquaman out the teaching how to swim?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Jason Momore, Yeah you you really you might have
- 25:45Speaker 2: tom and they must be private lessons.
- 25:51Speaker 11: Too, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Oh his hands under the stomach and but sticking about
- 26:03Speaker 2: the water splashing her feet. Oh yeah, yeah, you gonna
- 26:06Speaker 2: have to get a new choice.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Why is her husband so mad because he has a
- 26:10Speaker 1: great body?
- 26:11Speaker 2: Though? She just because her husband ain't because he ain't.
- 26:16Speaker 1: He doesn't, he.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Ain't got no great body.
- 26:19Speaker 1: What's he looking like?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Probably me? You know, yeah, you know, yeah, you sixty
- 26:35Speaker 2: eight though, you know, and wow over there, you know,
- 26:42Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, you know,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I mean you can see I had it really there
- 26:49Speaker 2: one time. Yeah, but you could clearly see something has happened.
- 26:54Speaker 11: It's called aging rich so aging, yeah, aging gracefully all right,
- 27:00Speaker 11: moving on to Clyde Clyde, I haven't had a Clyde.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Wow, they ain't making no Clydes no more.
- 27:08Speaker 11: All right Clyde and Tacoma writes, I messed around with
- 27:11Speaker 11: a married woman over forty years ago. She had a
- 27:14Speaker 11: son that could be mine, but he didn't do all
- 27:17Speaker 11: But we didn't do all that DNA stuff back then.
- 27:20Speaker 11: I'm getting older and I would like to see if
- 27:23Speaker 11: the boy is mine? Is it too late or should
- 27:26Speaker 11: I call her to find out?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Wow? Wow, man, if it's bothering, you call her?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Call the lady? Uh huh?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Wow. What if if it were you, what would you
- 27:42Speaker 1: you would call her?
- 27:46Speaker 2: See if it's a Clyde after party?
- 27:50Speaker 11: Yeah, forty years ago, what are you gonna do with
- 27:56Speaker 11: the boy? Man may go fishing with them.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It's too late to play catch and all this.
- 28:02Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 28:04Speaker 11: But you can have grandchildren and they could co fishing
- 28:07Speaker 11: with them right out.
- 28:09Speaker 15: See.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I don't I don't understand why he waited as long
- 28:13Speaker 2: he didn't just think of anything. Yeah, yeah, but see,
- 28:18Speaker 2: what is a series of events that happened in his life?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Now he had a point where he's trying to get
- 28:25Speaker 2: it together. Forty years ago, I messed with a married woman.
- 28:28Speaker 2: This dude in his sixty minimum. Now he's trying to
- 28:33Speaker 2: go back and fix everything because getting close to the
- 28:37Speaker 2: gate of heaven, I just said, gate.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Them. Yeah, two gates.
- 28:51Speaker 2: You gotta start doing some stuff to get stay out
- 28:53Speaker 2: of the other gate. So I don't know, man, I mean,
- 28:57Speaker 2: you know, he curious to know, But why why wasn't
- 29:02Speaker 2: you curious? You know, when the woman was pregnant. Why

- 29:25Speaker 2: been raised not looking for you, obviously thinking that her
- 29:29Speaker 2: husband is his father. Bro, you probably ought to just

- 29:37Speaker 2: here because you all of a sudden feeling self right,
- 29:39Speaker 2: So you're gonna go turn all these people's lives upside down,
- 29:44Speaker 2: the woman, the son, the husband. Bruh, you should have
- 29:49Speaker 2: thought of this a long time ago.
- 29:51Speaker 1: So okay, he said, he's all just go over.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Or just find out they schedule him when they go fishing.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Just go down there and fish next to them. Just
- 29:59Speaker 2: don't say nothing looks like you. Hey, hey, hey, let

- 38:57Speaker 2: hours to sit there by the phone because I had
- 39:01Speaker 2: to wait on him to get your message and get
- 39:03Speaker 2: to a pay phone himself. Oh, we've burned up a
- 39:06Speaker 2: lot of daylight.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Wait what would.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Constitute a may day?
- 39:11Speaker 17: I mean, so we can't get into that right now.
- 39:13Speaker 4: We can't be.
- 39:16Speaker 17: I know you like to investigate stuff, but that it
- 39:20Speaker 17: should not be discussed ever, ever, ever a day. Yeah.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So August eighth, after all Winery in Atlanta, Georgia,
- 39:35Speaker 2: Anthony Brown got two shows the next night, Saturday night.
- 39:40Speaker 2: He'll be in Chicago.
- 39:41Speaker 17: Where are y'all at the country Club?
- 39:45Speaker 10: Hill?
- 39:46Speaker 17: I can't pronounce that word, and I.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Found it out and found it out.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Go ahead, it's outside, it's outside.
- 39:54Speaker 18: About that, I know that outside.
- 39:56Speaker 4: It's outside.
- 39:57Speaker 17: Yeah, Anthonium, sell it for you, thank you, thank you.
- 40:04Speaker 17: You know, Black people call it the tent then, but
- 40:06Speaker 17: that's okay. We'll just we'll leave it like that, the
- 40:09Speaker 17: t Then I'm at the tenth end on the ninth.
- 40:12Speaker 17: August the ninth gave him williams uh, Mark Curry, Rodney Perry,
- 40:19Speaker 17: Sheryl Underwood, Honest John, and George Wilbur Hopes about yours truly, boy,
- 40:25Speaker 17: I hope they get ready because I'm gonna be update
- 40:27Speaker 17: every time I bring somebody up. I'm doing forty five minutes.
- 40:30Speaker 18: So yeah, yeah, deal.
- 40:35Speaker 2: That's a funny show man, That's a funny show.
- 40:39Speaker 17: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Saturday night at the Country Club in Chicago. It's the Ampatheater,
- 40:46Speaker 2: the Country Club, Ampatheater, Country Club, Amphatheater. On the ninth
- 40:50Speaker 2: of August, and on August eighth, he will be at
- 40:53Speaker 2: the Winery in Atlanta, Georgia. Two shows, Boy if I'm
- 40:57Speaker 2: in town, bron Fall Through.
- 41:00Speaker 10: The Boy, Please rehair right after the show, Hey y'all,
- 41:08Speaker 10: The one and only j Anthony Brown put chads again.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah we love you Jay.
- 41:14Speaker 18: Hang up.
- 41:17Speaker 1: What you're listening, Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:26Speaker 11: Well, ice Cube has come under fire again recently over
- 41:31Speaker 11: the five million dollar offer he made to w NBA's
- 41:35Speaker 11: Kaitlin Clark to join his Big Three league and did
- 41:38Speaker 11: not make that same offer to Angel Reese. Ice Cube
- 41:42Speaker 11: told TMZ Sports that he was able to offer Clark
- 41:45Speaker 11: the unprecedented deal based on support from his sponsors. He said, quote,
- 41:50Speaker 11: Angel Reese is a great player, but the thing with
- 41:52Speaker 11: Caitlin Clark is her stardom. What our sponsors were saying
- 41:57Speaker 11: to us, They didn't tell us the same thing about
- 42:00Speaker 11: Angel Reads. I don't think we can make the same
- 42:02Speaker 11: offer because it won't have the same impact to the league.
- 42:06Speaker 11: Of course, Caitlyn Clark declined the Big Three deal to
- 42:10Speaker 11: focus on her WNBA career and endorsement opportunities.
- 42:14Speaker 1: So here's a question. What do you think about this?
- 42:16Speaker 2: Steve?
- 42:17Speaker 1: How ice Cube handle this? What are your thought?
- 42:19Speaker 2: I mean, he's telling the truth. The truth of the
- 42:23Speaker 2: matter is we have constantly been in a fight for
- 42:26Speaker 2: equal pay just as black people. Because sponsors view us differently,
- 42:33Speaker 2: y'all keep acting like see here's what the matter with
- 42:36Speaker 2: these troll people online, y'all act like sponsors are not
- 42:40Speaker 2: who they are, and they are. They are corporate people. Now,
- 42:45Speaker 2: you take a picture of most corporations in this country
- 42:48Speaker 2: and tell me who you see in the corporation. So
- 42:51Speaker 2: when they have a viewpoint of something, they are pretty
- 42:55Speaker 2: much in alignment with one another. Caitlyn Clark is to
- 43:02Speaker 2: them a bigger star, not a better basketball player, but
- 43:06Speaker 2: a bigger star. And understandably so. Listen, any time any
- 43:13Speaker 2: time a sports can prop up a white player in
- 43:17Speaker 2: a predominantly black sport, you're gonna get it. Larry Bird
- 43:22Speaker 2: came along and he became then icon. Now Larry Bird
- 43:25Speaker 2: was worth every dollar. This boyd was outstanding, But then
- 43:32Speaker 2: so is Caitlyn Clark. She's an outstanding player. But it
- 43:36Speaker 2: was Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Now you got Angel
- 43:39Speaker 2: Reese and Caitlyn Clark. It is what it is. If
- 43:43Speaker 2: you look traditionally throughout the entertainment and corporate world, that
- 43:49Speaker 2: has always been a fight for equal pay, always and
- 43:54Speaker 2: it will continue to be. So it's in the television business, y'all.
- 43:58Speaker 2: You can have the same ratings as a black show
- 44:01Speaker 2: as a white show, and you will not get the
- 44:03Speaker 2: same sponsorship dollars put behind your show because you will
- 44:06Speaker 2: get relegated to the multicultural dollar advertising budget, which is
- 44:12Speaker 2: nowhere near the general market budget.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Tadda. And there's nothing you can do about that, huh,
- 44:18Speaker 1: because that's.
- 44:19Speaker 2: What you gotta try to keep fighting and striving on me.
- 44:23Speaker 2: We've done something. Yeah, Look, man, do you know what's
- 44:26Speaker 2: happening on Netflix today? Have you seen the numbers that
- 44:29Speaker 2: came out on Netflix? They have a thing out, They
- 44:31Speaker 2: have minutes watched. They got all of the top shows
- 44:36Speaker 2: on Netflix. The million one, the highest rated one is
- 44:40Speaker 2: about three hundred sum million minutes watched. That's the number
- 44:46Speaker 2: two show. Do you know what the number one show
- 44:48Speaker 2: is on Netflix? Medea's Destination Wedding. Do you know how
- 44:54Speaker 2: many minutes viewed she got? He got one point three billion? Wow,
- 45:00Speaker 2: there's no one even close.
- 45:02Speaker 1: And that rule still applies even with that.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Netflix does not give Tyler Perry the money to make
- 45:08Speaker 2: his movies that he give those other people, the movies
- 45:10Speaker 2: that got lesser views got bigger budgets than they gave
- 45:14Speaker 2: Tyler Perry to do this movie right here, still in
- 45:19Speaker 2: the dog and he produces way more than they do.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Just pull it up online. I don't know how to
- 45:28Speaker 2: pull it up, but pull it up. Minutes watched on
- 45:30Speaker 2: Netflix the The Ladies Movies and look at look at
- 45:33Speaker 2: Medea's Destination with one point three billion views. But I'll
- 45:39Speaker 2: send it to you.
- 45:40Speaker 11: I'm glad Ice Cube put it out there so you
- 45:42Speaker 11: know we can look at it again and discuss it again,
- 45:45Speaker 11: because it's the travesty, it really is.
- 45:49Speaker 2: We can't get mad at woman.
- 45:51Speaker 1: No, not.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Cube is fighting the same battle we've been all fighting.
- 45:57Speaker 2: This ain't Cube's fault.
- 46:00Speaker 11: You know.
- 46:00Speaker 2: You can offer that money from the sponsors. The sponsors
- 46:03Speaker 2: offered it to Caitlin. They didn't offer it to Angel Reese.
- 46:07Speaker 2: See that ain't cut for us.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Just a racist shame.
- 46:10Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, Uh, ongoing battle coming up next. We'll
- 46:14Speaker 11: switch gears here because the nephew is here with the
- 46:17Speaker 11: prank phone call coming up next right after this. You're
- 46:20Speaker 11: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 46:27Speaker 11: about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry letter
- 46:30Speaker 11: for today, and the subject is he has nothing to
- 46:33Speaker 11: be loud or proud about. We'll get into that, find
- 46:36Speaker 11: out what that's all about.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Just a few. Yeah, she's complaining.
- 46:41Speaker 11: Because right now it is time for the nephew and
- 46:44Speaker 11: today's prank phone call.
- 46:46Speaker 1: What you got for his nest?
- 46:47Speaker 15: Uh?
- 46:48Speaker 10: Cirlin, If you're ready, I got it for you. This
- 46:50Speaker 10: right here, This is the refrigerator. You know, we all
- 46:53Speaker 10: got an issue when we get an appliant, So we
- 46:55Speaker 10: get something dropped off at the house getting delivered, you know,
- 46:58Speaker 10: to give you a four hour window. You know we're
- 47:00Speaker 10: gonna be there. What you want from eight to twelve?
- 47:02Speaker 10: What you want, twelve four? How you want it? Oh,
- 47:05Speaker 10: they eat and then when they they ain't never really
- 47:08Speaker 10: get in the window like they supposed to. Ever, I'm
- 47:11Speaker 10: giving my man a hard time with the refrigerator.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Check it out. Here we go the refrigerator. Cat dog
- 47:17Speaker 2: get you would.
- 47:19Speaker 10: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach out mister please miss

- 47:28Speaker 15: Okay, what's going on?
- 47:29Speaker 10: Okay, listen, I know we had a window that was
- 47:31Speaker 10: from eight to twelve. This morning's it's eleven thirty now,
- 47:37Speaker 10: so we're running a little bit behind schedule. Man, we

- 53:34Speaker 10: what was this I heard that happened at your show?
- 53:36Speaker 2: Man? What happened? That was a lady that you bought up?
- 53:38Speaker 2: What happened?
- 53:40Speaker 10: Does this lady that miss let me say, I can
- 53:42Speaker 10: say the name right on. Miss Kaneta Spragging is her name?
- 53:45Speaker 10: I hope I'm saying, all right, Miss Carneta's bragking this
- 53:47Speaker 10: lady that was actually an accident in Tupelo, Mississippi, and
- 53:52Speaker 10: two cars rain each other. He gets out of her
- 53:55Speaker 10: car and runs and helps get both of these people
- 53:58Speaker 10: out of their cars. And as soon as she got
- 54:01Speaker 10: them out of the way, a train came and hit

- 56:50Speaker 1: All right, neph you. Thank you.
- 56:52Speaker 11: Before we get to the letter, we're going to do
- 56:54Speaker 11: a disclaimer here. Please, if you have small children in
- 56:57Speaker 11: your car or you know you don't want them to
- 57:00Speaker 11: hear this one, now would be a good time to
- 57:03Speaker 11: not let them hear it. Okay, Subject, parents, do what
- 57:06Speaker 11: you do. Subject. He has nothing to be loud or
- 57:10Speaker 11: proud about. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty two years old
- 57:15Speaker 11: and on my third marriage. I have grown children, and
- 57:19Speaker 11: so does my new husband. One of his granddaughters lives
- 57:23Speaker 11: with us so she can go to a special school
- 57:25Speaker 11: for gifted kids. My husband knows she is in the
- 57:27Speaker 11: bedroom next to ours, but he still likes to show
- 57:30Speaker 11: out like we're newlyweds. He is loud and wild, and
- 57:33Speaker 11: I have to cover his mouth and turn the TV
- 57:35Speaker 11: up to drawn out the noise. She told her mom
- 57:38Speaker 11: about and about it, and my husband thought it was funny.
- 57:42Speaker 11: He has no reason to be loud or proud about
- 57:44Speaker 11: anything he's doing sexually. He likes to brag when he
- 57:48Speaker 11: should just be quiet and be grateful that he's getting
- 57:50Speaker 11: some It's something that I have to do as a wife,
- 57:53Speaker 11: so I do it. We had a short engagement and
- 57:56Speaker 11: waited until marriage to have sex. He is definitely not
- 57:59Speaker 11: as passionate as my first husband or packing like my
- 58:03Speaker 11: second husband. I married for love this time, and I
- 58:07Speaker 11: chose the wrong man. Whoever said that love conquers all
- 58:11Speaker 11: was mistaken, because I want to feel the love in
- 58:14Speaker 11: ways that my husband can't give me. The other day,
- 58:17Speaker 11: we were hanging out with some friends and he has
- 58:20Speaker 11: He had his arm around me, telling his friends, and
- 58:22Speaker 11: he put that smile on my face. This morning, his
- 58:25Speaker 11: friends were high fiving him, but my best friend was
- 58:28Speaker 11: so tickled because she knows that I'm considering getting a
- 58:32Speaker 11: side dude.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I am only fifty two.
- 58:34Speaker 11: I need some good back bending sex with a little
- 58:38Speaker 11: mild choking every once in a while. My best friend
- 58:42Speaker 11: jokes about him being shorter than I am and said
- 58:45Speaker 11: that that might be why he's not good in the bedroom.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I don't think height has anything to do with it.
- 58:50Speaker 11: What do I do? I can't cheat on him, So
- 58:53Speaker 11: what am I supposed to do? Put up with bad
- 58:55Speaker 11: sex forever? Well, I mean, you're right, I don't think
- 58:59Speaker 11: height has anything to do with it. Because you're both
- 59:01Speaker 11: lying down, you're both vertical, so you know you should
- 59:05Speaker 11: be the same size lying down. But I'm confused by
- 59:10Speaker 11: this letter. I'm really struggling with what to tell you
- 59:13Speaker 11: because I'm not sure what you want here. I mean,
- 59:16Speaker 11: you basically want a cure for bad sex in your bedroom.
- 59:20Speaker 11: There is no cure. You just have to sit them
- 59:22Speaker 11: down and talk to them or whatever. But you started
- 59:25Speaker 11: off talking about your granddaughter staying in the room next
- 59:27Speaker 11: to your bedroom, and that led to you saying the
- 59:31Speaker 11: noise coming out of your bedroom didn't live up to
- 59:33Speaker 11: what was really going on in there, and your husband
- 59:36Speaker 11: should stop bragging about it so much. Then you compared
- 59:39Speaker 11: him to your two ex husbands. One is passionate, the
- 59:43Speaker 11: other one is packing. Your husband, you said, is none
- 59:46Speaker 11: of those. But you should never do that. You shouldn't compare,
- 59:50Speaker 11: and your husband will never be them. I hope you
- 59:53Speaker 11: know that you're going to have to learn to love
- 59:56Speaker 11: him for him if you stay in this third marriage.
- 59:58Speaker 11: We're not judging you for having three marriages or anything
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: like that, but you can at least try to make
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: this one work. You said you married the wrong man,
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: so you know, I don't know if this one's gonna last.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I mean, I know.
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: You're frustrated, but you can start by telling your man
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: what you like outside of the bedroom, telling him what
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: you really want outside of the bedroom. Because you said
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: you really don't want to cheat or get a side dude,
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: so you know you're trying to stay here and make
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: it work. Try harder, I mean, or else you're gonna
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: be on your fourth marriage.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna tell you right now, you're headed for
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: marriage number four because this whole letter it's about you
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: and him. Now. Is he wrong in this letter? Of
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: course he is. But are you wrong in this letter?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: You most certainly are and you don't even know it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: You're fifty two years old, you're on your third marriage.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: You got grown kids, so does your new husband. One
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: of his granddaughters lives with us so she can go
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: to a special school for gifted kids. Okay, that's fine.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: You know, people killing me what all this gifted kids stuff?
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: You know a lot of times your kids, yo, let
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: me tell y'all something about a gifted kids. Sometimes your
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: kids really ain't that gifted. They're just smarter than your well,
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: that's all it is. Schools kids now, because of technology,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: they appear to be more advanced than we were as children. Well,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: they got more stuff to be advanced towards, and this
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: called technology. The baby probably ain't that gifted at all.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: And if she all that gifted, why she got her
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: own apartment? Anyway, it's you. I don't care. Get tired
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: all this what you how gifted you are? You ain't
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: working nowhere you start making money. I don't want to
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: hear about how gifted? Right now? You're doing them costing
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: us extra money? Are paying all this money for this
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: extra schooling? Why smart kids cost smoke? Get in here
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: and gets some seeds so we can stay in this
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: neighborhood we want. Now, we got to put her in
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: that certain neighborhood because she's making all these aids. If
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: you don't get some seas and come in here so
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: we can stay in this house, we in and you
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: go to school with everybody else. Anyway. My husband knows
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: she's in the bedroom next house, but he liked to
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: show off, like we newly wear. Is he loud and wow?
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I gotta come his mouth and everything drying out the noise.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: She told her mom about me and my husband, and
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: my husband thought it was funny. He ain't got no
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: reason to be loud or proud. About anything you do
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: in sexually. He liked to brag when he ought to
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: be quiet and grateful. He getting some It's something I
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: gotta do as a wife, so I do it. We
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: had a short engagement to wait until we were married,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: till we had sex. Now here's the problem. He is
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: definitely not as passionate as my first husband or packing
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: like my second husband. I married for love this time,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: and I chose the wrong man. Well, let's get to
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: what's really wrong with the letter.
- 1:02:55Speaker 11: All right, hang on because Steve won't have part two
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:03:02Speaker 11: the hour.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it just over with, Yeah, all right.
- 1:03:07Speaker 11: The subject is he has nothing to be loud or
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: proud about. We will get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: planning and hard work to get in the door then
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: make that house a home.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Now, all that effort has.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: Built something hugely valuable.

- 1:03:51Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 11: The subject is he has nothing to be loud or
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: proud about, and there is a disclaimer on this letter
- 1:04:00Speaker 11: for parents with children.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Well, well we got to disclaim on this letter for
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: parents has got children in the car, but it's a
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: child in this letter, So.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Why yeah?
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Who we saveing here for his baby in the letter?
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: And she heavy he and all this miss next though, anyway,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: lady on her third marriage, she fifty two years old,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: married and husband. Both of them have grown kids. One
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: of his granddaughter's got to leave with him because she
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: a special gifted child goes to a special school for
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: the gift. I'm against this type of stuff right here,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: because why I got to cost extra just cause you small.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Get your tail in here and get some seeds on
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: this report car like everybody else, so you can stay
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: in the house with us, and we ain't gotta ship
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: you off and pay this extra money.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Seeve, my grandson is in gifted and talented.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Okay, he ain't finna make no more money than myskey.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: I was in special need class. Look at me, son,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: he gifted what he gonna be? What it's something?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Whatever?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Congratulations boy, and once again now yeah, well we'll see
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: how how gifted you like him? If they got he
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: gotta start living with you so he can go to
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: the special school. We'll see how you feel about this
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: little gifted behind. Then be helping him with homework so
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: he can get back up at that regular school. Anyway,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: demand that she married likes to show off and make noise,
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: and knowing that the grand baby can hear him, and
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: he all loud, she gotta cover his mouth and stuff
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: like they newly wed. The baby that went and told
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: her mother about it. He thinks it's funny because here
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: now he brags about it, and you're saying he has
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: nothing to brag about here, or to be quiet and
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: grateful that he getting some because it's something you got
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: to do as a wife, So I do it. Y'all
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: had a short engagement. Wait until you're married to have sex.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: But he's definitely not as passionate as my first husband
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: or packing like my second husband. I married for love
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: this time, and I chose the wrong man. Whoever said
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: that love conquers all was mistaken because I want to
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: feel the love in ways that my husband can't give me.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: So let's back up on man, why did you marry
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: this man? You say you married for love, which was
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: a mistake, So why'd you marry the other two? See?
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Your problem is you keep married getting married for all
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: the wrong reasons. You married your first husband because he
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: was passionate about love, man. You married your second husband
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: because he was packing. That's for love, man. So now
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: you're done married the third one for love? Now you mad?
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: This is fitting the end because you want to feel
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: love in the ways that your husband can't No, no, no,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: you want to have sex in ways that your husband
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: can't give me. The other day, we were hanging out
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: with some friends. He had his arm around me, telling
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: his friends. He put that smile on my face that
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: morning friends, I five and but my best friend was
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: so tickled because she knows I'm considering getting a side.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Wait a minute, lady, maybe this is why you on
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: your third marriage, your your problem solving skills is shot.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Like probably, problem resolution ain't what you do I'm thinking
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: about getting a side, dude. I'm only fifty two and
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I need some good backbend and sex with a little
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: mind choking every once in a while. What oh, you
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: need to shut.
- 1:07:31Speaker 20: A shock, They settled, crazy.
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I was just trying to be current, all.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Yeah, because you, yeah.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: You're here and here fit and probably I ain't say.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: I don't know if he's backbreaking, but he big.
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: Though, he's strong and muscular, so I'm thinking, you know,
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: good dude right here on.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: My check and everybody you don't even you ain't even
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: if you don't want to do what you're gonna get.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: She's married.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Then she said, my friend jokes about him being shorter
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: than I am, and I said that might be why
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: he's not good in the bedroom. Shirley said, sip hype
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: has nothing to do with it, because y'all be laying down.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: But that's not all the time, though, sometimes you have
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: to stand up. I'm told you right now, if you
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: short stay on your toes for a long time, you're
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: gonna pull a cramp. You're gonna pull a cramp in
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: your calf muscle. Because hard tiptoe if you got tip toe, Yeah,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: if you gotta get a child horse trying tippytoe, trying
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: to reach everything, trying to do with you. But do
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: you short boys?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: A long time since I hurt the words Charlie.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: For now you know, you know now we are people
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: on this show that can tell you the best way
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: to go about it. I ain't never been shot, so
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: I ain't never had it. It ain't never been a
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: problem for me.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: We can lay down on stands, little kid, baby, I could.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I could, I could, I could, I could fly across
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: the room on the trampeze. It don't matter to me.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I would do how you army crawl to you, how
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: you want to do it, you know, hockey your options
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: because I'm calling short people. Short people can't army crawl
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: to you because when they get to the bed, they
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: gotta they gotta get on their knees and stand up
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: a tough shot. Yeah, sometimes you they little short man,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: he got to pull hisself up, put all the covers off.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: You trying to get a rope and get up the top. Anyway,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: what do I do? I can't cheat on him? So
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: am I supposed to do with bad six travels? You
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: just said you was getting the side, dude, Lady you
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: don't need to be mad. You're about to be on
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Madge number four or yeah all right, he ain't all that?

- 1:11:15Speaker 8: uh they got a craft table in there, so that's
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: gonna be an issue.
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: Just got remember what show time is so I can

- 1:11:34Speaker 7: I'm sorry you say what happened?
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: You had put a lot of money on the field.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Yeah I did, but that's not a good beat. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: that's what I did.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: And then you told me to play six and eight too.
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: Yeah I played?
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, six and eight so you can gamble, you play
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: the field. Did you know how you was losing money? Yeah?
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Remember that's because it's not a good bat.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: This is not gamblers one on one.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Well they got a crap table and he played
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: in the field every time. Somebody roll.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: That's here we go.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: You know the last hour we talked about ice que
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: and uh, the w NB players and their money. I
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: want to commend myself. I really wanted to commit myself.
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: I didn't say nothing because last week, soon as I
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: said something about the w n B a money, Shirley
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: and call and nailed me to the cross. And y'all
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: didn't say nothing to c. But I want to say
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: I want to commend me for not saying nothing. Y'all
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: want my out when I said somebody word, but now
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: Q don't have to pay the five million when I
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: said something, Oh no, now that's a prim So therefore
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: I want to commend me for shutting up. You should
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: have known Shirley Carler was listening to this show. I
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: didn't hear y'all say nothing to you because he made
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: Friday Friday after next because he made what all about
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: the Benjamins?
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: He get a.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Pass now you do?
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Yeah? You know, just because he rich. Probably they probably
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: let him go a couple of hell you want him
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: to tell you why they didn't say nothing?
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: No, no, no, no no. Look in my face when
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: we were talking about Q. Did you see my face?
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: And I do love Craig from and I love it
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: was a good day.
- 1:13:11Speaker 8: I tell you what, you give every NBA play a
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: five million that's gonna solve everything.
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: You saw the shirts down at the All Star Game.
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: You pay us with your pay cute, don't cut it off.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: That's all.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I just can't say.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Because you're still excited about that.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: All right, bothered you? That really bothered you? Oh yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: oh yeah.
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: I ain't gotta say nothing.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I was.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I was shocked. I know.
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: I ain't talking about NBA players money and call it shirt.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Ain't said nothing.
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: I know that did. I couldn't see that.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I couldn't see you some money too.
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: Now we'll talk about it, lady. But that's okay. That's
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: all I want to say that my feelings was hurt.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: Did you do?
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: Me?
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: Do everybody?
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I was laughing?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: All right, thank you you? And you're coming up at
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the top of the hour.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: A wife wants to know Steve if it's okay to
- 1:14:00Speaker 11: have a private social media account. We will get into
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: that talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we go.
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: This is from Tika in Germantown. Tika says, I have
- 1:14:17Speaker 11: an Instagram account that's private, and I won't allow my
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: husband or my family to follow that account. I don't
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: have anything to hide, but I don't want to hear
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: their comments. When I'm out with my girls and we
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: post pictures popping bottles and hanging out with ballers, I
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: always wear my rings, so there's never any funny business.
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: I think husbands and wives need to keep something separate.
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: Should I delete my private account because they think I'm
- 1:14:43Speaker 11: being sneaky?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this. If your husband had
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: a private account, how would you feel about it? And
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: you just said something that I found interesting? When we're
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: all popping bottles and hanging out with ballers ballers, Now,
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: reference that's I've always heard ballers used to has always
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: been to men. I've never heard a group of women.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: I'm just hanging out with all these ballers. I've never
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: heard that come from women before. I'm about women. So
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: when you say we are popping bottles and hanging out
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: with ballers, but I always wear my ring, that means
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: you are around men oftentimes. But you think cause you
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: got your ring on it, that don't stop nobody from
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: saying nothing to you. That don't stop nobody from offering
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: you nothing because you got a ring on. If you're
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: in this section doing what everybody else is doing, DNA,
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: let's do what everybody else is doing. So is this
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: shady one hundred percent. Can you be married and have
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: a private account. You can't until they find out about it,
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: and they all know you have it because when they
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: go to it, they can't get in it.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Man, this social media.
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: Sightful of you to say that you know about the ballers.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: Well, and if it was the other way around and
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: he was out with some women popping bottles, having a
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: good time, but I got my way and ring on too,
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: right exactly with dancers or whatever.
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: Yeah, right, So she should delete her private account, is
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: what you're saying.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: I don't know how she don't think it should be there.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: She should be allowed because everybody should have privacy. Look,
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: I think that married people should have things that they
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: do by themselves.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I think that everybody should have some me time. Everybody
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: has the right to be themselves. But if they but
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: if it being yourself infringes on the trust and happiness
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: of your partner, what you're doing.
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: Right exactly exactly, I'm with you, and you're right, all right,
- 1:16:54Speaker 11: we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
- 1:16:57Speaker 11: LaToya and Orlando Uha. Toya says, I'm dating a guy
- 1:17:01Speaker 11: that used to be married, to a close friend of mine.
- 1:17:05Speaker 11: He wants to keep our relationship quiet for now. I
- 1:17:08Speaker 11: have no problem telling my friend that I have an
- 1:17:10Speaker 11: interest in her ex and we want to date each other.
- 1:17:13Speaker 11: I don't care how people think they own a person
- 1:17:16Speaker 11: after they break up.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: He wasn't her soul mate? What if he's mine?
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, gon't tell her, gon't tell her? Watch this? Give
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: it a yeah, gold, tell her watch this y'all.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Through girl code.
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: Yeah, come on, that's go tell her yo. And then
- 1:17:37Speaker 11: what are you saying, Steve, if she tells her.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: And teller and watch this here? I don't know how
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: people think they own people. It wasn't her soul mate,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: It may be mine. All that you're saying, Oh that's cool.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Gon tell her.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: When I was dating him, that best.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Friend, you're gonna be the reason why they broke up.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: You listen to me, Oh so you wanted him the
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: whole time. That's all she's gonna be thinking. And really
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: it sounds true.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:07Speaker 11: And then he wants to keep it on the low.
- 1:18:10Speaker 11: He doesn't want the ex to find you.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Already know y'all want that extra smoke, right y'all, hero,
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: I'm gone you both of y'allen to get it from
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: the wife, from the ex wife and her friends and
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: family and a bunch of stuff.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, don't do that. Don't do that.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: As to his friends, shu, all.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: These men in the world, you got to go with
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: your friend's ex husband girl.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: By because because she thinks he might be her soul mate.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: All right, all right, thanks guys.

- 1:25:38Speaker 2: he came forward to talk about it, and it was
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: a forty two minute press conference and he spent a
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: lot of time elaborator elaborating about it, and he even
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: joked about it, and it got emotional for him when
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: he was talking about how good God really is. You know.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: He told me he was gonna make this announcement because
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: I had been checking on him, man, because I just
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: didn't know what was wrong. I just I had seen
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: some different things, and I just finally I got hold
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: of him and he had new number and everything, and
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: so I finally got hold of him and I said, hey, man,
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: what's going on. He said, I'm gonna tell you, man,
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: but I'm gonna make announcement on Monday. And he told
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: me the situation everything, and we were talking about it,
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: and before we hung up, I told him, I said, hey, man,
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: you understand why. He said, yeah, I do. He said
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: had to be me. I said, yeah, it had to
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: be you, because you the chosen one. You're the one
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: that God knows he can put this on, allow this
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: to happen to and when you come out on the
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: other side, you're gonna give God the glory. Also told
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: him of the millions of lives he would affect when
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: he came out with this story. Because the one thing
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: that rang true throughout this whole thing was he was
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: imploring men to get tested. He said, especially black men,
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: because we don't like nothing to do with doctors. But
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: then he say, my white brothers. Y'all got to go
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: to my Latino brothers, my Asian brothers. Young and women too.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: But you gotta go get checked, but especially men, because
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: men won't go to the doctor unless our wife make
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: us go. And sometimes that's the case. Man, Sometimes you
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: just need that woman in your back to make you
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: go to this doctor. Because we're so good with I'm
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: got it, I'm good. Ain't nothing wrong. I'm handling it.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: But no, man, we gotta start watching our health. Man.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: We got to pay attention to it our time. Look,
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: I'm sixty eight years old. I know for a fact
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: that I've lived longer than I got left. And I'm
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: so grateful for life now every day because I'm in
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: the bonus round.
- 1:27:53Speaker 16: Man.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: I just heard about this Ryan Sandberg, this base a
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: baseball player that just died in his sixties, and then
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: something Malcolm Jamal Warner died in his fifties. Then Ozzie
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: died right behind that, and then another one, and I'm
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: just going, wow, Man, it's everywhere, and you have to
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: realize how blessed you are if you still here. But
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: since you hear, there are some things you need to do.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: Like I was watching this thing on YouTube with Bishop
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: TD Jakes the other day. The greatest preacher of all time,
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: This dude right here is my guy, and he was
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: talking about the road to success is bumpy. He said
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: that he knows a lot of people who's done way
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: better than him in his life, financially, monetarily, all types
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: of stuff. He says, you know a lot of people
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: are more wealthy. Everything he say, But everybody I know.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: The thing that all of them have in common is
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: that their road to get to where they're going was bumpy.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: It was bumpy, and that's the way success is. It
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: requires the bumps and bruises of life to get there.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: But I've also learned so many things about it, man,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: how you got to handle it, and how you got
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: to understand it, and when bad things happen to you,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: you have to underthink understand that these bad things that's
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: happening to you are valuable lessons in life that you
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: will need because when you get to the next level
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: and it happens to you again, you'll know how to
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: handle it and you can smooth through it a little
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: bit better. The first time you face a major problem,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: it's major. The second time you see that major problem,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: it ain't gonna be major. That's why you have to
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: handle and cope with the bad times in your life,
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: because if you look back on your life, you've gotten
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: through and beyond and over every bad situation that ever
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: happened to you. And if you haven't gotten it over currently,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: he's pulling you through it right now. Think about that
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: for a minute. So once you have that in your
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: hip pocket, once you have that bullet in your chamber,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: the next time you run into a hardship, a hard time,
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: a difficult moment, you got that that you can reflect
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: on and say, hey, I've been here before, I've seen this.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: God got me, and it gives you an uncommon type
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: of peace realizing that. So I'm going back to Dion now, Dion,
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: this happened to Dion, and he got real bumpy for him,
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: because let me tell you something, I don't care how
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: much money you got, I don't care how famous you are.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: When your health is at risk, all your focus go
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: to there. It ain't bout your money no more, it
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: ain't about your career. You get real focused on your health. Man,
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: that right there gets your undivided attention. But God puts
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: it on certain people because he know they can handle it.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: It's been on Tommy. Something happened to nephew Tommy his
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: cancer deal, but he put it on him and he
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: came through it because he knew with this microphone that
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: he would be a living witness, that he would be
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: a living, walking, breathing testimony to tell you of how
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: good God really is and the power of prayer, that prayer,
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: pray can be cancer. Pray can be cancer. Ask Tommy,
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: pray can be cancer. As Dion see, y'all's you gotta
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: understand how this works. Man. So I know I was
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: kind of all over the place, but I think I
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: said what I need to say. Hope y'all got something
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: from it. If y'all didn't get nothing from it, tune
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: in tomorrow, God willing, we'll have something that you can
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: get This to. Steve Harvin Martin Show number one, twenty
