- 1:25Speaker 3: Turn to turn the mouth. Turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 3: turn the mouth, turn out the water the monk.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think that. I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 2: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show. Man, oh man, oh man.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You know what, y'all.
- 2:16Speaker 7: I mean, really, the goodness of God is overwhelming if
- 2:19Speaker 7: you think about it. I mean, really really think about it,
- 2:24Speaker 7: even when your circumstance doesn't look so bright, even when
- 2:29Speaker 7: you're going through something that's causing you discomfort, pain.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Even in that, God's goodness.
- 2:39Speaker 7: Is actually overwhelming, because don't forget why you're going through
- 2:45Speaker 7: this moment. First of all, this too shall pass. But
- 2:48Speaker 7: also secondly, remember, man, ain't everything else that you've gone
- 2:53Speaker 7: through that seems so insurmountable at the time, didn't you
- 2:58Speaker 7: get past that too? I mean, it's amazing. If you
- 3:02Speaker 7: really think about it, you don't get stuck on any
- 3:06Speaker 7: one issue your whole life. The only people that get
- 3:09Speaker 7: stuck on an issue. They whole life is people who
- 3:13Speaker 7: won't let it go. That's really all it is. There
- 3:17Speaker 7: are people who exist, and you may be one of them.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Oh please know, I've.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Been guilty of it myself before, but I learned something.
- 3:25Speaker 7: There are things in my past that I just would
- 3:29Speaker 7: not let go of. It was done, it was over with,
- 3:32Speaker 7: I was past it, but I I would not let
- 3:37Speaker 7: go of it.
- 3:38Speaker 2: It was over.
- 3:39Speaker 7: The dude that did it to me didn't exist no more.
- 3:42Speaker 7: The problem that it created didn't exist no more. The
- 3:45Speaker 7: only problem that kept hanging on was I would not
- 3:49Speaker 7: let it go. And man, you can't go forward if
- 3:54Speaker 7: you gonna keep looking in the past. It's an impossible thing.
- 3:58Speaker 7: It's like driving a car. If you keep looking only
- 4:02Speaker 7: in the rearview mirror while you're driving, you're going to
- 4:05Speaker 7: crash pretty soon.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And a lot of people just keep.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Crashing over and over and over and over because you
- 4:13Speaker 7: won't drive your car you keep looking in the real
- 4:16Speaker 7: view mirror at the past. Oh woe, it's me. Oh
- 4:20Speaker 7: you know they did me like that. You know I
- 4:22Speaker 7: ain't been the same since he cheated on me. Oh man,
- 4:25Speaker 7: ever since she stole my money, I ain't been the
- 4:28Speaker 7: same man she played me, and ever since that I
- 4:31Speaker 7: done treated women differently. You may have some deeper stuff
- 4:34Speaker 7: going on, but eventually, guess what. Do you understand that
- 4:38Speaker 7: when you have a relationship God with God, you can
- 4:41Speaker 7: take that to him too and drop it off and
- 4:45Speaker 7: leave it there.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Do you know that He can fix and heal that.
- 4:50Speaker 7: Maybe it's something serious like that that you need fixing
- 4:53Speaker 7: or healing from, a relationship with God can fix and
- 4:57Speaker 7: heal that.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But man, come on, y'all, whatever it.
- 5:01Speaker 7: Is, and I'm not trying to downplay it or make
- 5:05Speaker 7: it act like it wasn't traumatic in your life, because
- 5:07Speaker 7: oh God, you don't want to you know, you don't
- 5:09Speaker 7: want nobody to do that to you because you want
- 5:11Speaker 7: to be the the you know, the post a child
- 5:14Speaker 7: for misery. So please don't let me take that from you.
- 5:18Speaker 7: If that's your position, that's your hall of fame card
- 5:21Speaker 7: you hanging on to. I'm the poster child for misery.
- 5:25Speaker 7: Oh no one is more woe than me than Please
- 5:29Speaker 7: don't let Steve try to take that from you. You
- 5:32Speaker 7: go ahead and hang on to that, But let me
- 5:34Speaker 7: tell you something though. If that's what you're gonna hang
- 5:36Speaker 7: on to. That's what You're gonna always be the poster
- 5:39Speaker 7: child for misery. At one point in time, you're gonna
- 5:42Speaker 7: have to get on and move past it. You sometimes, man,
- 5:45Speaker 7: it's merely a simple thing of taking it to God
- 5:48Speaker 7: and leaving it there. You know, some people don't have
- 5:51Speaker 7: money for therapy. Some people don't even know who to
- 5:54Speaker 7: call for therapy. God is the best psychologist in the world.
- 5:59Speaker 7: He can fix it for you. There is nothing too
- 6:02Speaker 7: hard for God. You know when something seems impossible, y'all,
- 6:06Speaker 7: God does the impossible all the time every day.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You won't know how I know.
- 6:12Speaker 8: I just look at a couple basic things. Do you
- 6:15Speaker 8: know that that sun comes up every day in the morning.
- 6:17Speaker 8: It comes up in the east and it sets in
- 6:19Speaker 8: the west. You can't do nothing about that. All you
- 6:23Speaker 8: can wish because you plant at your flowers on a
- 6:26Speaker 8: certain side.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Of your house. You can wish all you want.
- 6:29Speaker 7: And maybe one day he would bring it up out
- 6:31Speaker 7: the northwest so those flowers would no. Now it's gonna
- 6:34Speaker 7: come up out the east, and once the sun hits
- 6:38Speaker 7: the horizon when you look in the water, like if
- 6:40Speaker 7: you ever out in la and you see the sun
- 6:42Speaker 7: going down. Once the sun, once you can visually see
- 6:45Speaker 7: the sun touching the horizon, you have three minutes. You
- 6:50Speaker 7: have exactly three minutes. You can sit there with your watch,
- 6:52Speaker 7: you can time. Yeah, three minutes and it's gone. Three
- 6:56Speaker 7: minutes is gone. I read that somewhere and then I
- 7:00Speaker 7: went and tried it. It's gone every day if it's
- 7:04Speaker 7: clear enough, not cloudy. Once the sun touches the horizon.
- 7:08Speaker 7: On water, you got three minutes. When the wind blows,
- 7:12Speaker 7: you can't do nothing about it. He can bring it
- 7:15Speaker 7: from the northeast, he can bring it from the west,
- 7:16Speaker 7: he can bring from the south. He can bring it hard,
- 7:19Speaker 7: he can bring it cool, he can bring it hot.
- 7:21Speaker 7: It's certain things that God does the impossible all the time.
- 7:25Speaker 7: How those stars sitting up there, How can you find
- 7:29Speaker 7: these constellations? The big dipp of the Little Dipper, Ryan
- 7:32Speaker 7: the Hunter, Oh, that's God. Ain't nothing you can do
- 7:34Speaker 7: about it. You can't reach them stars, you can't shoot
- 7:37Speaker 7: at them, you can't move them out the way. Or
- 7:40Speaker 7: Ryan the Hunter's belt. There's gonna beat them three stars
- 7:42Speaker 7: out of ankle. You can call it what you want
- 7:44Speaker 7: to call it. Still, that's what it is. See he
- 7:46Speaker 7: does the impossible all the time He created heaven and earth.
- 7:51Speaker 7: You're saying that God can't get you through your past.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Somebody did just to me. It's the worst thing I had,
- 7:58Speaker 7: the worst childhood of any God can't get you past that.
- 8:02Speaker 7: He can move heaven, mountains, Earth, he can form the
- 8:06Speaker 7: Grand Canyon, he can make the water come over Niagara
- 8:09Speaker 7: Falls twenty four seven. He can't fix yo little bitty
- 8:14Speaker 7: past yours. It's amazing how people make their problems bigger
- 8:19Speaker 7: than God. Somebody told me one time, stop telling God
- 8:24Speaker 7: how big your problems are, and start telling your problems
- 8:29Speaker 7: how big God is, and go on with your life.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Quit driving your car looking in the rear view mirror.
- 8:37Speaker 7: Ain't nothing back there but your past. And if it
- 8:39Speaker 7: was hurtful or painful, or something you just felt like
- 8:43Speaker 7: you can't get over, take your problems to God and
- 8:46Speaker 7: leave them there. You hear the old spiritual all you've
- 8:48Speaker 7: heard it, take your birdens to the Lord, leave them
- 8:52Speaker 7: yet all the time.
- 8:53Speaker 2: But you think that applies to everyone.
- 8:55Speaker 7: But you, come on, man, a lot of people out
- 8:59Speaker 7: there going through much worse than you have and have
- 9:02Speaker 7: overcome it all. Why won't you take the step to
- 9:05Speaker 7: overcome your past, so you can get on with driving
- 9:08Speaker 7: your car and see what God trying to take you.
- 9:10Speaker 7: But it's a trick of the enemy. The enemy tricks
- 9:13Speaker 7: you from seeing your future by having you constantly looking
- 9:17Speaker 7: in your past. Man, it's a trick of the devil.
- 9:20Speaker 7: If the devil just let you quit, if he would
- 9:23Speaker 7: just let you get to drive in your car, look
- 9:25Speaker 7: out into your future.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Your future shows hopefulness. You have hope when you see
- 9:32Speaker 2: the future.
- 9:33Speaker 7: But he can keep you in misery if he keep
- 9:35Speaker 7: you looking at your miserable past. God looking for you, man,
- 9:40Speaker 7: God would love to hear from you. Let's spend some
- 9:43Speaker 7: time talking to God today. Hey God, what's happening.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's me.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I know I ain't talk to you in a while,
- 9:49Speaker 2: but feel bad about that. But I need you. He
- 9:53Speaker 2: know that. Everybody should say that prayer all the time.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's cool, all right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 9:59Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:06Speaker 7: It is time to give honorm to give thanks, to
- 10:10Speaker 7: give praise to Almighty for waking us up again. I'm here,
- 10:14Speaker 7: fart man. Appreciate you God, everything you've done for me.
- 10:18Speaker 7: I'm thanking you for all of us as listening man,
- 10:21Speaker 7: you are to join in with that. Just take a
- 10:23Speaker 7: moment and say thank you. It's all good for letting
- 10:26Speaker 7: you last through the night, for waking you up, for
- 10:28Speaker 7: getting you back home safe, for all of that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It's all good.
- 10:31Speaker 7: This is Steve Harvey Morning show Man, Shirley Strawberry Colin
- 10:35Speaker 7: for real, Mouth of the South, Junior Government name kills
- 10:39Speaker 7: frights and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I don't know where we're going with this today, but Junior,
- 10:45Speaker 2: what's on your mind?
- 10:47Speaker 3: Unkle?
- 10:47Speaker 9: I tell you what some of my vision boards talk
- 10:50Speaker 9: about vision boards. You know one thing I need to understand, August,
- 10:54Speaker 9: how often do you have to change your vision board on?
- 10:57Speaker 1: How often do you revisit your vision board?
- 11:00Speaker 7: Well, this is my fourth vision board in six six years,
- 11:07Speaker 7: seven years. This is my fourth vision board in about
- 11:10Speaker 7: seven man, I would say seven eight years, my fourth
- 11:13Speaker 7: vision board.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And you change them.
- 11:17Speaker 7: You change them because the old vision board has come true,
- 11:22Speaker 7: the visions have become realized. Your vision board ain't gonna
- 11:26Speaker 7: stay the same. If you're paying close attention, it's gonna change.
- 11:30Speaker 7: And if you operate in faith. My life is filled
- 11:33Speaker 7: with none but faith. And then God does this amazing
- 11:36Speaker 7: thing along the way. He gives you this incredible gift
- 11:39Speaker 7: called grace. It's unexplainable, it's unmerited. You can't earn it,
- 11:45Speaker 7: you can't buy it. It has no rhyme or reason
- 11:47Speaker 7: to it. Just sometimes you just get some grace and
- 11:52Speaker 7: you throw that in there. Next thing, you know, man,
- 11:54Speaker 7: a lot of your dreams start coming true. So vision
- 11:56Speaker 7: boards are hopefully temporary. They'll always exists, but they will
- 12:01Speaker 7: change as you acquire things.
- 12:03Speaker 2: So that's it.
- 12:04Speaker 7: But the vision boards are necessary. Vision boards are a scripture.
- 12:07Speaker 7: Hebeka two and two. Habeka two and two says, clearly
- 12:10Speaker 7: write the vision and make it plain, so that he
- 12:12Speaker 7: who reads it will run to it, and even though
- 12:14Speaker 7: it tarry, wait for it, for surely it will come
- 12:17Speaker 7: at an appointed time. It's facts. It's not up for debate.
- 12:22Speaker 7: It's not up for what you think. Is not your opinion.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Habeca two and two is facts. It's facts. In any religion,
- 12:31Speaker 7: that's facts. A man is as he think. That's a fact.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It's not an opinion. That's a fact.
- 12:40Speaker 7: You receive what you put out, what your radar, what
- 12:43Speaker 7: your remote sends out. The signal is the signal that
- 12:47Speaker 7: you attract. It's the law of attraction. It's all of that.
- 12:50Speaker 7: These is facts. Habeka two and two is a fact. Man,
- 12:56Speaker 7: Read it, trust it, lean on it, believe it, and
- 13:01Speaker 7: watch your dreams come true.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Boy, what what you ain't? Ask me? Nothing? I don't
- 13:07Speaker 2: know here, No, sir, I'm locked in on this right here.
- 13:13Speaker 7: And and the thing I appreciate about it most is grace,
- 13:17Speaker 7: because it's His grace can't be purchased, giving out freely.
- 13:23Speaker 7: I'm looking for some today in the words of old people.
- 13:27Speaker 7: All I want is a little mold grace, a little
- 13:30Speaker 7: mold grace.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Thank you. All right, I'm.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Gonna say my song tenor I hear you tenor alright,
- 13:39Speaker 1: turn back in the gospel per coming up at thirty

- 14:44Speaker 4: Is this this Beanjie? I'm college? Is this though?
- 14:49Speaker 10: We know she's doing here right now with this her daughter?
- 14:52Speaker 11: Is there a problem?
- 14:53Speaker 4: Oh? No, this this Beanjie. This mam Mama Lowa's nephew. A.
- 15:00Speaker 11: It's bland death, you know.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Mamalloyd is Mamalloyd? Jo?
- 15:04Speaker 11: I ain't it ain't correct Mama Lord's and miss Purpose sisters.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Okay, I'm being you. I'm I'm gonna nephew from the
- 15:11Speaker 4: other side of the family. You say your name?
- 15:12Speaker 10: What not Blandas?
- 15:14Speaker 4: Okay, what time y'all supposed to get in?
- 15:16Speaker 10: We should be there by the afternoon?
- 15:18Speaker 4: Okay? Uh is Missus Purvis is she is your mama
- 15:22Speaker 4: making the dressing.
- 15:23Speaker 11: Yeah, she's making enough for about forty five people.
- 15:26Speaker 10: We actually this was discussed about.
- 15:28Speaker 4: A month ago, right y'all on the y'all they had
- 15:31Speaker 4: the conference call, the conference the family had the conference call, right, yes, sir? Okay,
- 15:37Speaker 4: now listen, what the reason why they got me to call?
- 15:41Speaker 4: They wanted me to go in and call and and
- 15:43Speaker 4: I was trying to get miss Purvis. She's not there.
- 15:45Speaker 10: No, she's not here.
- 15:47Speaker 11: What's wrong?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Oh? Okay, they're not gonna They're not gonna need her
- 15:51Speaker 4: to do the to do the dressing.
- 15:53Speaker 10: And why wouldn't they needed to do this? She would
- 15:55Speaker 10: make it for ten years?
- 15:56Speaker 11: We did.
- 15:56Speaker 6: We just discussed this.
- 15:57Speaker 4: So what do you mean they say that they got
- 16:00Speaker 4: somebody down here that's gonna do the dressing. Les it says,
- 16:02Speaker 4: y'all traveling. Y'all ain't got to bring it, you know,
- 16:05Speaker 4: and be traveling with it. But they got somebody gonna
- 16:07Speaker 4: do the dressing.
- 16:08Speaker 10: Okay, Well, first of all, how are your your beie?
- 16:11Speaker 10: What is your name?
- 16:12Speaker 4: That was not my name, Benjamin, but they called me Benji.
- 16:15Speaker 4: But but but like I say, I'm on the other
- 16:18Speaker 4: side of the fair. I ain't on y'all side.
- 16:20Speaker 10: Okay, Well, I'm still trying to figure out why you
- 16:23Speaker 10: calling me because she's been making the dressing for ten years,
- 16:26Speaker 10: like I said, and I mean, it's been discussed. So
- 16:29Speaker 10: I don't even know why why you're calling me. I
- 16:31Speaker 10: don't even know you.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Okay, Well, what I'm trying to explain to you just
- 16:34Speaker 4: right here is that they got so y'all ain't got
- 16:37Speaker 4: to worry with bringing the dressing. They got somebody gonna bring.
- 16:40Speaker 4: They got somebody down here that's gonna cook it. So
- 16:43Speaker 4: in other word, what you know, if you can tell
- 16:45Speaker 4: men's pervers, she ain't got to worry about the dressing
- 16:47Speaker 4: this year.
- 16:47Speaker 10: Oh so you want me to tell my mama after
- 16:50Speaker 10: she's been making dressing for ten years that y'all say,
- 16:53Speaker 10: y'all ain't worried about She shouldn't have to make it
- 16:55Speaker 10: this year because we're driving now, We drive every year,
- 16:57Speaker 10: So I'm.
- 16:58Speaker 11: Not gonna do that to her.
- 17:00Speaker 10: I mean, and I don't I don't even know who
- 17:02Speaker 10: you are to be calling me anyway. Why getting somebody
- 17:04Speaker 10: calling me that I know regarding it?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, you gunned the right. I am glundas all right, listen,
- 17:10Speaker 4: let me say this because I don't mind saying with
- 17:13Speaker 4: everybody thinking what most people don't want to say. Let
- 17:16Speaker 4: me just say this right here. Really, what's going on
- 17:19Speaker 4: is just right here. A lot of people in the
- 17:21Speaker 4: family you know, don't really don't don't really like miss
- 17:27Speaker 4: Prari dressing.
- 17:31Speaker 10: Benjamin, who else you supposed to be? Let me sprint
- 17:35Speaker 10: something there. My mama gonna make her pressing, you gonna
- 17:39Speaker 10: keep it, and we ain't bringing that on with us,
- 17:42Speaker 10: so you can tell your family that I said that
- 17:44Speaker 10: because you want to see me.
- 17:46Speaker 4: I mean, first of all, you got to understand that
- 17:48Speaker 4: I'm bringing news that that people don't them voted on.
- 17:51Speaker 4: And this is what everybody want to do.
- 17:53Speaker 10: Don't nobody want Nikau, we had a meeting dress, she
- 17:58Speaker 10: be making it ten years. Ain't nobody been saying and nothing?
- 18:00Speaker 10: And guess what one of them up in that house.
- 18:02Speaker 10: Nobody better not be walking up and through that talking
- 18:05Speaker 10: about my mama either, and you gonna gonna eat it?
- 18:08Speaker 4: Okay, Well see right there? Why why if people don't
- 18:10Speaker 4: like the dressing, Glinda, why you want to make some
- 18:13Speaker 4: men everybody to have it to eat it if they
- 18:15Speaker 4: don't like it?
- 18:16Speaker 10: You don't eat this. How I know I don't know
- 18:18Speaker 10: you well, I don't know no Benjamin Benjie who I
- 18:23Speaker 10: want to.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I'm mama Lord's nephew from the other side of the

- 27:48Speaker 7: tomb because I got so much stuff I had to
- 27:50Speaker 7: go in there. Not no Mars and Liam. I'm gonna
- 27:53Speaker 7: need a tomb. I'm gonna need a whole room, like

- 56:48Speaker 2: We got it for you.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Subject. I'm married a groupie.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a twenty nine year old married
- 56:57Speaker 1: makeup artist and my husband is a handsome businessman. We
- 57:01Speaker 1: got married a month ago, and I was hesitant because
- 57:04Speaker 1: I saw signs of him being a groupie. Groupie may
- 57:07Speaker 1: not be the right word, but he is intrigued by celebrities.
- 57:12Speaker 1: When we watch TV, he talks like a woman would,
- 57:14Speaker 1: saying stuff about the actress's hair and outfit. Here's why
- 57:18Speaker 1: I can't understand my husband. We are planning a trip
- 57:21Speaker 1: to LA and he's been calling his cousin, who's a
- 57:24Speaker 1: publicist in LA, to find out what clubs are poppin'
- 57:28Speaker 1: and which restaurant will have the celebrities in it. I
- 57:31Speaker 1: think it is okay to want to get the LA experience,
- 57:34Speaker 1: but that's not for him to set up. That's my job.
- 57:38Speaker 1: He jokes that if he runs into one of his
- 57:40Speaker 1: Hollywood girlfriends like Caruci Tran or Sierra, he will leave
- 57:44Speaker 1: me standing on the street. I have the best sense
- 57:47Speaker 1: of humor, but this isn't funny to me. If I
- 57:50Speaker 1: said that about Michael B. Jordan, he would be very upset.
- 57:54Speaker 1: The other night, we were having dinner and lots of drinks.
- 57:57Speaker 1: He opened up and admit it that he fantasizes about
- 58:00Speaker 1: various black actresses while we're intimate. I went as low
- 58:04Speaker 1: as I could and I admitted that I slept with
- 58:07Speaker 1: a famous comedian three years before we got married. Shocked,
- 58:13Speaker 1: he asked if I was joking and I said no.
- 58:17Speaker 1: He got up from the table and left me sitting there.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I drove so he had to call an uber. It's
- 58:23Speaker 1: been an ongoing argument since that night because he can't
- 58:27Speaker 1: believe I slept with a celebrity and never told him.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I told him it was sex with a normal man,
- 58:33Speaker 1: but he just happened to be famous that made it worse?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Did it hurt his ego more because I had sex
- 58:40Speaker 1: with a celebrity? Please help? Okay, really, really, this is crazy.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Your problem may have started about celebrities, but you all
- 58:49Speaker 1: are just trying to hurt each other now, it seems.
- 58:51Speaker 1: And if you keep that up, your marriage is going
- 58:53Speaker 1: to be in trouble. It's too soon for all of that.
- 58:56Speaker 1: It's only been a month. This is really petty stuff.
- 58:59Speaker 1: You're fighting over celebrities, okay. And rule number one in
- 59:03Speaker 1: case you don't know, is don't try to get back
- 59:07Speaker 1: at your man by telling him you slept with someone
- 59:10Speaker 1: famous or not.
- 59:12Speaker 13: But I don't know.
- 59:13Speaker 1: It seems like since he's so into celebrities, it may
- 59:16Speaker 1: have been okay if you had told him he was famous.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I don't know. But they're not able to get past
- 59:23Speaker 1: when you tell them you slept with someone, okay, especially
- 59:26Speaker 1: if you slept with a lot of people and all
- 59:27Speaker 1: of that. So just you know, word to the wise,
- 59:30Speaker 1: don't do that anymore. It doesn't matter if it was
- 59:32Speaker 1: three years or thirty years ago. That's just not what
- 59:35Speaker 1: you say. And yes, since you asked, you did hurt
- 59:37Speaker 1: his ego, but I know you were hurt too about
- 59:40Speaker 1: his fan boying out over all of his celebrity crushes Caruci,
- 59:45Speaker 1: Tran and Sierra. He said he would leave you standing
- 59:48Speaker 1: on the street if he saw them.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Ouch.
- 59:50Speaker 1: That does hurt. So you hit him back hard with
- 59:53Speaker 1: your sleeping with the celebrity thing. The problem is that
- 59:57Speaker 1: you guys, again, are just fighting over petty st These
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: things are not worth losing your marriage over. He's into celebrities.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You're not that into celebrities. That's the whole problem in
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: your marriage. Celebrities. I mean, you know, you guys can
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: still go to LA have a great time. There's plenty
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: of stuff to see there besides celebrities, but that is
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the LA experience. If you've never been before, you do
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: want to go where the celebrities go and hang out
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: where they go. You know, I don't see this as
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: a major problem, but I see it growing into a
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: bigger problem if you guys don't nip it in the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: bud right now, Steve.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Ugh, this letter is so stupid.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: Yeah, the letter really is her husband though, the problem
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: is him, this twenty nine year old married makeup artist,
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: And you say your husband's a handsome businessman. They've been
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: married a month ago, and she said she was hesitant
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: because she saw sign that he was a groupie, because
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: he's intrigued by celebrities.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Now, this is a tail tale.
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: When we watch TV, he talks like a woman Wood
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: saying stuff about the actress hand outfit. Uh oh, that
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: is called a glitch. That's what's called a glitch in
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: a man. When you, as a woman, say he talks
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: like a woman wood saying stuff about actress hand outfit,
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: then that's a glitch. And then she goes on to say,
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: here's why I can't understand my husband, y'all playing a
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: trip to LA. He been calling his cousin, who's a
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: publicist in LA, to find out the clubs just popping,
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: which restaurant will have celebrities in it.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: I think it's okay to want to go to LA,
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: but that's not for him to set up.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: That's my job.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: He jokes that if he runs into one of his
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: Hollywood girlfriends, like whoever that lady is treying in Sierra,
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: he gonna leave me standing in the street.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: I can't believe he said this.
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: To his wife, and it don't stop that. This is
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: how dumb this dude is. I have the best sense
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: of humor. But this isn't funny to me, And if
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: I said that about Michael B. Jordany, he'd be upset.
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: The other night they having dinner and they had a
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: lot of drinks. He opened up admitted that he fantasizes
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: about various black actresses while we're intimate.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: What wait a minute, he said that to you to
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: his wife, lady, I don't even know why you married
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: this guy.
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: The signs of that you saw early on, they must
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: have been glaring, because for him to sit of being
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: say this and now, I went as low as I could,
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: and I admit that I slept with a famous comedian
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: three years ago. Now that's when I quitn't listening to
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: the letter in the black house. I said, where we're
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: going with this here? But then you said three years ago,
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: and I said, okay, cool, it can't be me. But
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: they scared me though. When you said the famous comedian,
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: I'm pretty sure Tommy locked up in.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: A couple of what was going on?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Hang on, see well two of your response coming up
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:03:07Speaker 1: right after this.

- 1:03:55Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm married a groupie.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: Yeah you did, lady. You got a man that has
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: a glitch When you're watching TV. He talks like a
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: woman who was saying stuff about the actress hand outfit
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: and then y'all playing on a trip to La.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: He got a cousin that's a publicist.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: He been calling him to ask him what clubs is
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: poppet and where do the celebrities hang out? Then he
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: told you if he ran up into one of these
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: celebrity crutches. He'll leave crushes. He'll leave you standing in
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: the middle of the street. I don't know who says
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: this to they wife, but this fool did. Now you
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: said that y'all was having drinks one time, and he
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: opened up and admitted that he fantasizes about various black actresses.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: Why we're intimate. I can't believe this guy right here, man,
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: this boy's stupid. I went as low as I could,
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: and I admitted that I slept with a famous comedian
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: three years before we got married.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Now, immediately the letter, I went into shock.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Because I'm thinking she'dne wrote to Steve Harvey Morning Shore,
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: what could this be about? But then she said three
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: years before we got married and they only been married
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: a month. So the cool that released me. I'm pretty
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: sure Tommy locked up. But Tommy, that releases you too,
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: so shock. He asked if I was joking. I said,
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: hell no, I ain't playing. I slept with him. He
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: got up from the table and left me sitting there.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: What he did say, now, he did say if he
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: saw his favorite female crush, he would leave you in
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: the middle of the street. So his coping skills is
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: leaving he got up from the table. He left you
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: sitting there. I drove so he had to call uber.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: Been inn on argument, ongoing argument since that night. He
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: can't believe I slept with a celebrity and never told him.
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: I told him it was sex with the normal man.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: But he just happened to be.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: That's all. It was just sex with a normal man.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: He just happened to be fantasy. That made it worse.
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: Did it hurt his ego more because I had sex
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: with a celebrity? Please help it hurt his ego because
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: he's stupid. See, he wants to tell you about his
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: fantasizing with other women while y'all intimate. He tells you
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: if he see a certain woman in the street, he'll
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: run to her, leave you standing there. But the moment
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: you open up and you honest about something.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: You did, you crushed it. And the reason you crushed
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: him is because he knows he.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Will never be a celebrity.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: So now in his mind he's stupid because that's what
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: he won't he now know that's what you want. His
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: was a fantasy, yours was reality. Oh Oh, that's a
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: cold slap in the face. Oh, when you thinking about
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: who you can sleep with me, and your wife turn
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: around to tell you who she done slept with.
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: Whoo.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Thinking and doing is two different things. The letter actually
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: turned out to be good. I have no answer for
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: you in this letter because I really don't care. I
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: don't because he has everything that's coming his way, all
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: this getting up, walking from the table, threatened to leave
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: you in the middle of the street if he meets.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Here, and all this here. Hey man, dog, you naw.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Now you got to deal with everything you did.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: And the reason you wrote this letter is because you've
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: been annoyed and upset with him so many times.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Now he upset.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: He got what he got coming. He deserved right to
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: be where he is cause he started this. Sometimes you
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: have to leave a man laying in the bed that
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: he made.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: One more time.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Sometimes you have to leave a man laying in the
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: bed that he made. Stop trying to make the bed up.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Let hear it.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: You can't make a bed of why he in it.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: This is an enjoyable letter. Thank you for writing me.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: It's a teaching moment. It gives us a chance to
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: look at it and thank to ourself. You know what,
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: I better not ever do that.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Yes, famous comedian.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. This is a glorious moment.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: I'm so grateful. It ain't me lords, thank you Lord.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Yeah, now she'd said this letter.
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: I slept with a famous comedian one time, who I
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: would refuse to mention because we on this show then,
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: or we wouldn't even have.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Read this letter.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: We would have picked an Well.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: No, I sent this right over to Ricky Smile and D. L. Hughley.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: He let y'all have it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: Man, somebody sent this letter about y'all. We took y'all
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: name out. W's white out.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: So that's really it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: I don't really have nothing else to say about this
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: letter except this dude is a complete fool and idiot.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: And you know, married.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: It's only been married a month.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and already this then came up.
- 1:09:23Speaker 12: Yeah, that's that's the Yeah.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: So now he's stupid.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: All he gonna try to do is top you now,
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: but he can't because don't know the celebrities want him.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: And again Sierra is with her husband Russell Wilson.
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: Yeah, he gonna be out in the la y'all ain't
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: gonna be able to join y'all, say, he gonna be
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: your nose up against the window, driving down the car
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: like a dog, got his head hanging out the window.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Yeah, doing all of that. Yeah, yeah, why they make it.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: It's only been a month.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: They're not.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: It's disastrous right now, it's over. It's too petty. Yeah,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: all right, we'll post your comments. Thank you Steve on

- 1:11:18Speaker 1: That's a lot of stress. Yeah, oh, this is a
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: good one. My boss is a nightmare. Have you checked

- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, Steve, you have a lot of jobs.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: You have more than anyone I know. Do your jobs
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: keep you up at night?
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: You know? Is it?
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: If they do? Is it constant or just a case?
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: As for my jobs, it's when I run up into
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: stupid it that's the only thing I get exhausted for.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: I don't I've you know, I've really found out over
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: the years. I don't really care for stupid people. I
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: really don't. I can't even I can't even play it off,
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: like if you're stupid, I look at you like you're stupid.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: The whole time you talk.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I don't know what we're supposed to do with that information.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: It's it's important information that you know about me and
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: my job, my job.
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: I love my jobs. Look, I tell jokes for a
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: living and play music. All of my jobs that have
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: an element of meat using my god given talent.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: So I love my work.
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: It's the things that surround my work, like when you stupid.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: I just can't stand that.
- 1:12:47Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Is that like brown?
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: No J good j ignorant.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Stupid?
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: Different from ignorant stupid when you're doing stuff that ain't
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: attached to nothing and just have no rhyme or reason,
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: but you steady.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Doing anyone in particular in mind? Or what to say
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: anyone at the job? No, I didn't think he was
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: gonna say you honestly.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Okay, why would I say this?
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: It's uncomfortable right now? Yes, why you uncomfortable?
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: You're not stupid?
- 1:13:25Speaker 11: I know, I know.
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: You just don't like the way that Tommy goes into
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: the shell when you call him stupid.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: But let him go in there.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: When he going to the shell, he can't say nothing stupid?
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: What was that?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: He's here working? What are you going to do?
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: He's working?
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I'm right Hello everyone, I'm here. I'm right here. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm right here.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: You stop doing it.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Stop talking over and around me. I'm right here. You
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: can't help. All right, let's up. It's DJ Cavin. This
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: your boy, Chris Brother. Hey, this is Keisha Cole. People,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: this is Kirk Franklin was going on.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: This is Kevin Hardy.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Coming up next is the Strawberry Letter. You're listening to
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it's that time,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, this Thanksgiving time, and we have a
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: resident poet in the building. Tell me, why don't you
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: do the honors? Please? If you insist, Shirley, you know,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I really do. Yeah, you know. I'm a most deaf
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: kind of guy myself, you know, but a resident he's
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: he's got that right. So, ladies and gentlemen, get ready.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: This is Jay Rap. That is Junior's ragged poem.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell y'all something.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: It's Thanksgiving, yep, it's a time when people get together
- 1:14:50Speaker 9: and families get together. So I wrote this poem with
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: that in mind. The poem, he sounds like you preached
- 1:14:59Speaker 9: all or something. Yes, the title of the poem is
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: I don't want to see some of y'all from here
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: we go this year, I wanted to keep our Thanksgiving
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: dinner small because I'll be honest, I don't want to
- 1:15:18Speaker 9: see some of y'all. I told my wife to get
- 1:15:22Speaker 9: a small turkey and some dressing, just be with her
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: and our new dog is truly a blessing, but she
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: won't see anybody.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Some people I don't want to see.
- 1:15:32Speaker 9: I don't want them in my house bothering me, and
- 1:15:35Speaker 9: you know they gonna want to take some place home
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: and just like that, all my turkey and dressing will
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: be gone. Listen, I'm telling you now, so you don't
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: have to text me or call.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: I mean it, and I really do.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: I don't want to see some of y'all. Happy Thanksgiving
- 1:15:51Speaker 9: and get it at your own house the end.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: I'm not doing this with y'all.
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: Yeah, whatever y'all know is some people. Y'all don't want
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: to see a child house.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: You know who the people is? Yes? Yeah, okay, so JR.
- 1:16:13Speaker 12: The people that you're talking about, could they be possibly listening?
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: If they is?
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: They know?
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: If they if they they know.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Very possibly.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Fact don't worry about to call it here.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Let me be fixing for you. Darl Jenkins.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Don't come by.

- 1:16:44Speaker 9: We don't need it this year.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: She don't.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Well, we don't.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: We don't know who her boyfriends.

- 1:16:53Speaker 9: All these old players she'd be bringing out here every
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: every year is a new one. I want you to
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: be s invested last cli, mister Marcus.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: There's too many of them. It's way tie. Don't bring
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: any people back here.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: You know what if I see my cousin Michelle again
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: this year and she's pregnant, I'm through. I'm every Thanksgiving everyone,

- 1:17:25Speaker 13: You always pregnant every year.
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: You always you always backed away from the table. You
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: ain't never up over the table, all your food eating
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: on your stomach. You keep missing your plate on your stomach.
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: Were tied and seeing it now anybody else?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: We family?
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I love I love your family.

- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Any not he's my cousin.
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: If I see my cousin Mark, if he if he
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: come in there with one more tattoo, he ain't got
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: no more rule.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: If I see him.
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: One more tat No, we can't even We don't even
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: know if his face and eyes is open.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: We've been looking at the book. We don't have a clue.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I'm tired for you.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: I'm tired Tim.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: Juy.
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: Yeah, man, you can't see his whole face because you
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: don't even know if his eyes is open.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: He did tend to them.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I don't know what. I'm not gonna sit there and
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: play nice this year.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I'm not doing it. You put your foot down, put my.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Day, buddy. I don't want to see that would be
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: great home, all right, Junior, thank you, Happy Thanksgiving and
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: the words of Junior. Coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: the hour, we will have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We're getting it in the holiday spirit,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: of course, and there's a new trend for some, but Steve,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I think you've been doing this for a while at
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: your house. Studies show that only one Christmas tree just
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: isn't enough this year, and homeowners plan to fill their
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: homes with multiple Christmas trees. They core experts wade in
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: and agree that the Christmas joy needs to be spread
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: beyond just the living room. Trees belong all over your home,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: like in the bedroom places like that. So so my
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: question to you is do you agree with this? And
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: how many trees are you guys going to put up
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: this year?
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: Yeah, couldn't have your main tree, and then you can
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: have little trees. Margie's done that before we got the
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: main tree. We have like smaller trees somewhere, maybe two
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: something like that. I've seen. It's just festive you. It
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: just makes you feel good all over. It's just once
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: a year, you know. But if you can't afford to
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: get that one tree and be quiet, you ain't got
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: to read every article and use it.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: And I wish you would.
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: Man told my daddy she's wanting two trees this year.
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: We're gonna buy two trees for.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: What you can us.
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: Well, I really have a long time getting on this
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: little tight hell. You're gonna sit it on porch, No
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: roll one. I'm gonna still if you put it on
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: that porch, because they're gonna think it's some boxes up
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: under there, so we don't need to putting pork.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: All right, So do what makes you feel happy and
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: in the spirit. All right, we'll have more of the
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll play around I would you rather?

- 1:22:24Speaker 7: I didn't know what they were saying. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: do everything. I don't want to sweep, though a little
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: racist to me.
- 1:22:34Speaker 13: We always got an issue.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: We gotta lie.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: I want to be playing the sport. I'm not sweeping,
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: So okay.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Would you rather be an okay looking person but be
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: very funny, very interesting? Or would you rather just be
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: super fine, super hot and very boring? So okay, I'm
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: gonna be all.
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: Y'all just say right now. Except for cutie Pie down
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: there in the corner. He's fine, He's all right the

- 1:23:11Speaker 2: with me and Junior, we.

- 1:23:20Speaker 7: because we describe a again, Shirley.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: All right, he would you rather be okay looking but
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: very funny and interesting or super hot and very boring?
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Which one still a.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: We got to be a what wants to be a be?
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Ain't no, Russ got a chance of being b sooner.
- 1:23:43Speaker 7: I'm interesting hot too, though, Damn you're not hot, boy,
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: you're okay, regularly looking.

- 1:24:05Speaker 7: you all ready to live because you' funny and interesting
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: cause you fine? Yeah, all expensive suits like your uncle.
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: We got a dress expressive because we strange.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Looking, Junior said, if you're hot, turned the air on
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: that you are.
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: Coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Last break of the day, closing remarks. Right after this, Hi,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: this is Felicia was shot. And you're listening to the
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: This is Steve Harvey, Marty show man. Why do we
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: have a radio show? We're gonna do it right.
- 1:24:49Speaker 15: Listen to your that's stupid, stupid, That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Boy, Say that, man, Why do we have say that show?
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: If we're gonna be right, Steve Morris, you'll come it
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: up right after you around the holidays. It's hard to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: find the right gifts, but you know it's even harder

- 1:25:13Speaker 1: perfect solve for both. They have incredible gift bundles. You

- 1:25:25Speaker 1: in needed. You can give a couple away and get
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: yourself one two, or you can keep them all to yourself.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: No one has to know. Stop by your local Verizon Steve.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Now it's time for you to drop some knowledge with
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: our closing remarks. What you got for us today, big dog?
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Yeah, today, I want to remind everybody of something that
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: gets overlooked from time to time. But if you want
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: to be successful and you want to be happy, if
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: your happiness is sometimes as it often is, tied to
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: your success, and if your success oftentimes as it is,
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: it is tied to your happiness, the two kind of
- 1:26:07Speaker 7: go hand in hand almost. But now you have to
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: be using your definition of success and not somebody else's.
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: If you're using someone else's definition of success, you're never
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: going to be happy.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Whether they've aimed too high for you or they've aimed
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: too low for you.
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: If you're using somebody else's aim. You're never going to
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: be happy because those two are, I'm sorry, tied together.
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: I'm happy if I'm successful. If I'm not successful, I'm
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: not going to be happy because I'm going to feel
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: like there's something else I could be doing for my family,
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: as something else I could be doing for my future.
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: It's something else I could be doing to make it work.
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: And so my success is tied to my happiness, and
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: my happiness is tied to my success. Now do I
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: take times off from all of it and just sit
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: around and be grateful and happy for where I am?
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: Of course, all the time. Gratitude is a huge part
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: of the principles of success. That's oftentimes to overlook. Yeah,
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: I often sit around and just smell the roses, just
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: take a breath of fresh air and go mad. I'm
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: awful grateful for where I am God, not meaning that
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: I don't want more, but I oftentimes stop and thank
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: Him for right where I am, because where we are
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: is pretty good compared to where we were. But now,
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: with all that said, let me share something with you.
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: If you want to be happy and successful, you are
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: going to have to put out a massive effort period.
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: Stop thinking it's going to happen any other way. You
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: have got to put out a massive effort. You got
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: to get at it. You got to grind I to
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: want it. It's got to burn a little bit on
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: the inside of you. It's gotta make you uncomfortable not
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: being where you wanna be. You got to have a
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: I'm gonna get it attitude in order for it to
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: get God.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: Period.
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: You gotta have a I'm gonna get it attitude in
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: order for it to get God period. That's the deal.
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: No substitutions, no alternatives. This ain't sugar. You can't use
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: splendor instead. This ain't sugar. This is life. You have
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: to go get it now. All no alternatives. Well, you
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: can pick some alternatives, but you're not gonna be happy
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: and successful. You got to get a little bit of
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: dog in you. I'm sorry. Everybody got to have some
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: dog in you. You gotta have some bite back, you
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: gotta have some fight. You're gonna have to have a
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: little bit of kick, and sometime the kick has to
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: come from yourself.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: You canta quit looking for other people.
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: Always give you that little kick in the rear to
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: get you started, that little jumpstart in the morning.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: To encourage you.
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: What if they need encouraging what if they ain't get
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: they jumpstart for the day and you waiting on they
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: call and their encouraging word. Man, let me tell you something,
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: these are people that you waiting on to help you.
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: People fail all the time. Every person needs the Lord
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: God Almighty. So that might be one of the mornings
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: where they need him and they don't have nothing for you.
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: Take your faith out of man, put your faith in
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: God and get at it. You and God can make it.
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: That'd be great if you had a friend along the way,
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: of course it would be. But sometimes you're in a
- 1:29:32Speaker 7: pattern where you got to learn that it ain't nobody
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: but you and him. Sometimes sometimes you just need to
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: know it ain't nobody but you and God.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: That really ain't a bad place to be. It really ain't.
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: I've got some of my best results out of my
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: life when I just asked God for the help, when
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: I didn't call nobody else to see what they thought
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: about it. When I've went to God, just God, I've
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: gotten my best results. I'm just gonna be honest with you.
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: But you got to get at it, though. Quit expecting
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: God to just bless you with something, and you ain't
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: giving him nothing to put his finger on the touch.
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: You make one step, he'll make two. You got to
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: be a producer out here. You got to go out
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: of here and get out something. Quit asking God for
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: a job and you ain't putting no applications in. Stop
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: wasting his time and yours too. It's like the story.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: The man said, you know, I've been praying. I've been
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: praying to God to hit the lottery. I just been
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: praying to the Lord to hit the lottery. One day,
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: the man just kept hearing him say that. He said, well,
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: do you play the lottery? He said, no, What kind
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: of prayers that you praying to God to hit the lottery?
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: But you're not playing the lottery?
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: What?
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: That don't make no sense. If you want God to
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: touch your life, give him something to touch. An effort,
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: put in a request, be sincere. But I've decided that
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: I'm gonna attempt so many things that's within my gift
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: and in my realm that I'm gonna ask God to
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: bless me with his grace. He got something to blest.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: He just keeps on making stuff happen for me. He
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: just keeps on opening doors for me. He just keeps
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: on putting the right people in.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: Front of me.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: Oh, and it may look like the deal ain't gonna happen.
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: That's oftentimes many of them do. But at the end
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: of the day, it always works out. But man, you
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: got to get at it, y'all. You got to get
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: off your butts and get at it. Ain't nobody finna
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: walk no checks up to you and hand them to you.
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: You got to get out here and get at it.
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: Dreams ain't nothing but dreams. Until you put some work
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: behind them, they become goals. You gotta put some work
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: behind these dreams. That's my clothesing remarks today.
