- 2:18Speaker 1: think I got something that's uh that rings for everybody
- 2:23Speaker 1: here it is did you know? Did you know? And
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm talking to everybody, did you know that there is
- 2:32Speaker 1: a life for you that's greater then you could have
- 2:38Speaker 1: ever dreamed of? Did you know that there is a
- 2:43Speaker 1: life for you better than you could have ever imagined.
- 2:48Speaker 1: There's a life for you better than better than the
- 2:51Speaker 1: one you thought you could have. Did you know that
- 2:54Speaker 1: there's a life for you better than the one you've
- 2:57Speaker 1: ever felt before? Did you know that that was a
- 3:03Speaker 1: life for you greater than the one you saw for yourself?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Did you know that there is a life for you
- 3:15Speaker 1: greater than you had expected? And did you know that
- 3:21Speaker 1: there was a life for you much bigger than the
- 3:25Speaker 1: one you wanted? At? Lastly, did you know that what
- 3:32Speaker 1: I just said is true? Did you know that? Did
- 3:38Speaker 1: you know that the things I just said are available
- 3:41Speaker 1: to you? Yeah? You. It's not just intended for other people.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's not just intended for the rich. It's not intended
- 3:57Speaker 1: for those with college degree ease. It's not just intended
- 4:03Speaker 1: for those who receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah, you too.
- 4:14Speaker 1: It's for you who didn't get your high school diploma.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It's for you who are incarcerated. It's for you who
- 4:27Speaker 1: have two strikes. It's for you who have been sentenced
- 4:33Speaker 1: to life. It's for you who've gotten out and have
- 4:39Speaker 1: a felony record and can't seem to get it together.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It's for you who have an illness. It's for you
- 4:48Speaker 1: who the doctors have given up on. It's for you
- 4:54Speaker 1: this life I'm talking about it's for you. Did you
- 5:00Speaker 1: know that there's a life for you better than the
- 5:04Speaker 1: one you dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined,
- 5:09Speaker 1: a life better than the one you thought of, That
- 5:12Speaker 1: there's a life for you better than the one you've
- 5:14Speaker 1: ever felt before. There's a life for you better than
- 5:18Speaker 1: the one you saw for yourself. There's a better life
- 5:21Speaker 1: for you than the one you expected and even the
- 5:25Speaker 1: one you wanted. Did you know that this is true
- 5:30Speaker 1: for you? See? Here's here's let me give you the
- 5:34Speaker 1: secret to this thing. Now you have to believe that
- 5:39Speaker 1: it is for you. Now, you gotta fight through the doubts.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You gotta fight through the wheel of satan, because the
- 5:46Speaker 1: devil is busy man. The devil wants you to think
- 5:49Speaker 1: that is hopeless. The devil wants you to think that
- 5:52Speaker 1: this is it. The devil wants you to think there
- 5:54Speaker 1: ain't no more to it. The devil wants you to
- 5:57Speaker 1: think that this applies to other people but you, and
- 6:00Speaker 1: you've been dealt the worst hand of them all. What
- 6:02Speaker 1: you ate, but that's what the devil wants you to think.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So you gotta fight through. Now, you gotta fight through
- 6:08Speaker 1: to get to what I just said is available for you.
- 6:11Speaker 1: But what else you got to do? You ain't doing
- 6:13Speaker 1: nothing else, might as well fight. Why just wake up
- 6:16Speaker 1: and just let it be? Why would you wake up
- 6:18Speaker 1: every day and just exist when there's a chance for
- 6:22Speaker 1: you to actually live. See the reason I don't mind
- 6:25Speaker 1: smiling so much now is because I'm no longer existing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm living now. See. See, that's what you want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: get to. You don't want to exist to wake up
- 6:35Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing, not understand and
- 6:40Speaker 1: not having can't can't get this, can't get that, can't
- 6:43Speaker 1: go here, can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait, gota wait,
- 6:47Speaker 1: gota wait till it seems like you never get nowhere.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You can get out of that rut of life, feeling
- 6:53Speaker 1: like when you wake up in the morning, that your
- 6:54Speaker 1: life is whole hum that you're just in a rut.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I drive the same way to work, I do the
- 7:00Speaker 1: same thing on my job. When I get off, I
- 7:02Speaker 1: drive all the way back home. I sit there, I
- 7:05Speaker 1: read the newspaper, I watered the lawn. I'm so sick
- 7:09Speaker 1: of my life. It ain't this ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 7:12Speaker 1: And start wake up and start over do the same thing.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Then the weekend gets in, you gotta mow the lawn,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage
- 7:20Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 7:24Speaker 1: you know, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 7:27Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 7:30Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 7:33Speaker 1: love their life two different to be different. I'm not
- 7:35Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 7:39Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dad to believe
- 7:43Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the
- 7:50Speaker 1: challenge to fight through and see what God got for
- 7:54Speaker 1: you instead of listening to Satan all the time. The
- 7:56Speaker 1: devil is busy, man, Please understand, he's so busy, so
- 8:00Speaker 1: busy trying to trick you, get you into the groove.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know they're doing all kinds of stuff now, man,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you know atheists and already got prayer. Taking out of schools,
- 8:09Speaker 1: excuse me, look at our skills schools, not as a
- 8:12Speaker 1: push by the atheist to get the words in God
- 8:15Speaker 1: we trust. Taking off our money. It's a deal. If
- 8:17Speaker 1: you don't believe in God and you don't want trust
- 8:19Speaker 1: and God just going about your business. But what you
- 8:21Speaker 1: can't do is spill off all into what I'm talking about.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That's the problem I have with all all of them.
- 8:27Speaker 1: If you're gonna do you, didn't do you, but don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: spill off into what I got now. See, if you
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't believe what I'm saying, then I ain't talking to you.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Let's just be clear about the relationship with Steve Harvey
- 8:37Speaker 1: and his crew. I'm only talking to the people that
- 8:40Speaker 1: believe that are looking for something else, that wants something more,
- 8:44Speaker 1: that wants something better, that's gotta be out there searching
- 8:48Speaker 1: and hoping and and trying to do more. That's all
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm talking to now. If you don't believe what I'm
- 8:54Speaker 1: saying it's true, didn't go ahead and try it your way?
- 8:56Speaker 1: Go see write me, email me, let me know how
- 8:58Speaker 1: it's going for you. But I'm telling you of a
- 9:01Speaker 1: way that's tried and true. If you go to God,
- 9:05Speaker 1: if you go to your creator, your makeup, if you
- 9:08Speaker 1: go to him and you go to him for real
- 9:12Speaker 1: and tell him, hey, you know what I want? You
- 9:15Speaker 1: to go ahead and take over from here. I'm done.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I didn't done all I know how to do, out
- 9:20Speaker 1: and out and tried everything I know how to try.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm sick of me right now. Hey, look here, you
- 9:25Speaker 1: created me what you want me to do, and you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: a cool thing about it. When I made that decision,
- 9:30Speaker 1: y'all see, I was so afraid for years that I
- 9:33Speaker 1: was gonna miss out on something if I did that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I couldn't do this no more. But the stuff I
- 9:37Speaker 1: needed to stop doing. I really need to stop the
- 9:39Speaker 1: things I was afraid of not being able to do
- 9:42Speaker 1: anymore with the very same things I really didn't need
- 9:44Speaker 1: to be doing no more in the first place. On
- 9:47Speaker 1: the real man, on the reel, all that temporary fun,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I was having all them temporary outlets. I was using
- 9:55Speaker 1: all them temporary things trying to fulfill myself I was doing.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess man.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I said, hold on, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 10:04Speaker 1: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 10:07Speaker 1: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 10:10Speaker 1: with joy. But it's only because I went and I
- 10:13Speaker 1: faced him. He didn't take me and stop me from
- 10:16Speaker 1: being me. He just made a better version of me. See,
- 10:21Speaker 1: God don't take he because all the stuff he sent
- 10:24Speaker 1: you through, he needed you to go through all him.
- 10:26Speaker 1: He needed you to have him experience and what it
- 10:27Speaker 1: felt like to be locked up. He needed you to
- 10:29Speaker 1: have experience to know what it was to lose everything.
- 10:32Speaker 1: He needed you to have experience to make you tough.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You're just gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough
- 10:39Speaker 1: soldier in his army. That's all I just say. One
- 10:42Speaker 1: of the weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God
- 10:46Speaker 1: didn't take a lot of stuff from except the stuff
- 10:49Speaker 1: I needed. But the stuff he made me to be,
- 10:52Speaker 1: He allowed me to keep it, and he just made
- 10:54Speaker 1: a better me. Do that, y'all, and you can have
- 10:56Speaker 1: what you want. You're morning show ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 11:04Speaker 1: and girls, players, hustles, gangster inmates, those who wire locked away.
- 11:10Speaker 1: We're thinking about you, y'all. Keep your head up behind
- 11:13Speaker 1: the wall. Now. Everybody out there has been a victim.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Keep your head up. If you're a survivor, ain'ty good.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Tell everybody out there to day that's struggling with anything,
- 11:25Speaker 1: be strong. Hang on, This too shall pass, This too
- 11:30Speaker 1: shall pass. Because just like everything else, it'll pass. I'm
- 11:35Speaker 1: saying this to myself today. Sometimes you just gotta remind yourself.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Good morning everyone. What a week? What a week? Who
- 11:52Speaker 1: ain't InTru You still got your job? Yeah? Searched my life? Boy,
- 12:06Speaker 1: take inventory? Yeah, I'm taking my life. You just want
- 12:15Speaker 1: to move on? Moving on? Man? You still here? I
- 12:26Speaker 1: ain't s I ain't do nothing nothing, you know what.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But it's the holiday season, man, the holiday season? Ye
- 12:36Speaker 1: are yeah? Yeah, tree got delivered. Georgia Boys your name, No, no, no,
- 12:47Speaker 1: that's the Georgia Boys combined with the l A crew
- 12:49Speaker 1: to get it. Was some cussing in. Yeah, the trees outside,
- 12:56Speaker 1: not in the house. No, no, no, no, it's in
- 12:58Speaker 1: the house. Whoa, that's what that's the issue. It's big.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It's it's like that with unlike you see it the
- 13:08Speaker 1: mom exactly. That's it's that been. Let me it's in
- 13:14Speaker 1: the house and it ain't been. No, no, you don't know.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Girl from Georgia. Step back, just let us do it.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Let us move back the way or the day was
- 13:32Speaker 1: they was going at it about that treat because okay,
- 13:38Speaker 1: arl Nim chopped the tree and flocked it. You know you, Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 1: they flocked it, did they say, what the flock? The
- 13:50Speaker 1: l A boys put the lights on. You know, you
- 13:53Speaker 1: gotta put the lights on it before you put it
- 13:54Speaker 1: on the truck to bring it. Yeah, because it's too
- 13:58Speaker 1: big to put lights on. And you know what I
- 14:00Speaker 1: mean in the house. So you gotta so you gotta.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know, had a tree where it can be tilted
- 14:05Speaker 1: all the way over, so they wrap all the no, no, no,
- 14:09Speaker 1: he put the streetlights. You know, I like, I like
- 14:12Speaker 1: this white clear lights. Yeah, and so board they are
- 14:17Speaker 1: so now once they chop it down and bring it
- 14:20Speaker 1: and flock it, then they let the l A boys
- 14:24Speaker 1: put the lights on it. Then the Georgia boys will
- 14:27Speaker 1: put it on their truck and bring it into the house.
- 14:30Speaker 1: We'll be back, I guess at thirty two, after something
- 14:38Speaker 1: funny and more of Steve's Christmas tree story. You're listening
- 14:43Speaker 1: to Steve show, all right, it is time for something funny, Steve,
- 14:49Speaker 1: just continue with this tree story. Ever, and it was
- 14:54Speaker 1: it was a cultural divide at my house. It was
- 14:58Speaker 1: the South against the West coast and and Earl Neon
- 15:03Speaker 1: wanting hands down. So they chopped the tree down and
- 15:07Speaker 1: they flocked it. We'll give us an example of the
- 15:10Speaker 1: South coast and West and west of the South and West. Steve, listen,
- 15:15Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. It's gonna be really delightful. You're
- 15:18Speaker 1: gonna love it. Uh, this is Harvey and I've discussed everything,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and we're just gonna make it happen. That the west,
- 15:26Speaker 1: here's the South. We're bringing out the tree at tree
- 15:32Speaker 1: that's well. Look, look listen, we don't dolts. We don't
- 15:38Speaker 1: do that, grace you. We don't do bas We do tree.
- 15:41Speaker 1: We treat people. We we use this tree. People we hanging.
- 15:47Speaker 1: We ain't got no little tendency to go on it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: None of that. We don't do none of that. We
- 15:52Speaker 1: when wet, we don't bring eggnog with us. Nothing. We
- 15:56Speaker 1: brings out trees. We treat my in And so they
- 16:02Speaker 1: chopped the tree down and they flocked it. The boys
- 16:06Speaker 1: in the West coast put the lights on. So when
- 16:10Speaker 1: errol them go pick it up after the lights on,
- 16:13Speaker 1: the arguments started right there. So they're trying to tell them,
- 16:17Speaker 1: this is what you're gonna have to do to protect it.
- 16:20Speaker 1: We don't need you telling them what to do about
- 16:22Speaker 1: no lines say the first tree, we tree people that's
- 16:27Speaker 1: all we do. You've done the lots. You just make
- 16:30Speaker 1: sure we prop it up there. They come out. You
- 16:34Speaker 1: just have your little tastyrself over there, so you have
- 16:37Speaker 1: the lights come on. We know how to cat so
- 16:41Speaker 1: so they wraps the tree up in tarps, tops and cords.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They get it off so the branches don't break, and
- 16:47Speaker 1: they get it all the leaves pointed up and they
- 16:50Speaker 1: loaded on the flat bed trunk. Right, So they bring
- 16:53Speaker 1: it to the house and here they come. Now all
- 16:57Speaker 1: the l A boys has got black T shirts on
- 17:00Speaker 1: their un yeah, blue jeans and black teacher him got
- 17:06Speaker 1: on coverall flannel shirts, jackets, lumber jack clothing, boots, Tim's Jesus.
- 17:15Speaker 1: So they're bringing it, they try, and then the tree
- 17:18Speaker 1: is so it's got eight to ten men bringing this
- 17:21Speaker 1: tree in. Right, So all the dudes and the black
- 17:24Speaker 1: T shirts is going a little bit more to the left. Careful, careful,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I think we're gonna lose a light or two on
- 17:30Speaker 1: this one. Oh, let's tell you what I need y'all
- 17:33Speaker 1: to do. I need y'all can just get on out
- 17:35Speaker 1: to wait. Take him there. Tight T shirts move off
- 17:39Speaker 1: to the left for the right and quick talking to us.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We need no instructions. Where's to treat people. It's gonna
- 17:46Speaker 1: be up in that there like stay, you gonna treat
- 17:48Speaker 1: buzz every year? Ya don't tell you right now, that's
- 17:52Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. It's highs done. And they and
- 17:54Speaker 1: they brought it in and they got it set up
- 17:57Speaker 1: and it fits in there perfect. Because the l A
- 18:00Speaker 1: people measured and told Earl then what size the treat
- 18:04Speaker 1: could be. Well, it was about three ft too tall. WHOA, No,
- 18:12Speaker 1: they had to cut the tip off. So because about
- 18:14Speaker 1: two ft too tall, Boy Errol propped that thing up
- 18:18Speaker 1: and he was too tall. Well, who dad, Day's measurement
- 18:23Speaker 1: two feet off and two inches I got but two
- 18:26Speaker 1: feet I mean, come on, a little tight shirt. You're
- 18:32Speaker 1: the one been talking all the time. How did you
- 18:34Speaker 1: get two feet off? Now we gotta climb up and
- 18:36Speaker 1: cut it off so we can be a put a
- 18:38Speaker 1: stone on top of this thing. And so he said,
- 18:41Speaker 1: we won't be putting us down on the top of
- 18:42Speaker 1: this street. The hell you won't. That's that you're gonna
- 18:48Speaker 1: put that starfre what you think Christmas is? Firm? This
- 18:51Speaker 1: north startling three wise me and then you're gonna put
- 18:54Speaker 1: a stone on this tree. So you put no, it
- 18:59Speaker 1: ain't that. I had to let Earl new get out. Problem.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So I had to let Earl get out. Decorations don't start.
- 19:10Speaker 1: But the tree is it? That's cool, that's good news,
- 19:13Speaker 1: that's good all together? How many people bring this tree?
- 19:16Speaker 1: And really, man about tied and let's just get down
- 19:20Speaker 1: to how much did the tree called? Oh here we go? Yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 1: it was kind of how we had to because they
- 19:29Speaker 1: had come California. It's kind of hot. So this tree
- 19:33Speaker 1: went in a lot somewhere. Come on when they stand
- 19:38Speaker 1: out with a little fire and stuff like that. No, no, no,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you. I'm gonna show you last year's tree.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And this tree is bigger than last years. Wow, I
- 19:46Speaker 1: remember last year. What's going on at the chateau. Last
- 19:51Speaker 1: year's treat is in my pond in Dallas. While fish
- 19:56Speaker 1: it helps had a new fish when they're born in
- 20:00Speaker 1: the Christmas tree underwater and they grow and get bigger
- 20:02Speaker 1: if they don't have them Christmas trees and the water
- 20:04Speaker 1: big fish just either Wow, fishes tree, you got a
- 20:09Speaker 1: good as life, man, Tommy, you heard me? What's going
- 20:13Speaker 1: on at the chateau? I made Christmas as you just Christmas.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Ain't that I ain't. My tree was upen to attic
- 20:21Speaker 1: my tree. I love it. Put that tree out, I
- 20:29Speaker 1: love it? What a bottom part? Three parts right, A,
- 20:36Speaker 1: B and C. You know what I'm putting up? What
- 20:40Speaker 1: are you decorating upside down at the club? I'm putting
- 20:43Speaker 1: so what is that about? It's like just a joke.
- 20:49Speaker 1: But I'm gonna stick presents up on the ceiling to
- 20:58Speaker 1: the fun. He was so graty the club. Yeah, I'll
- 21:05Speaker 1: be there, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, because they
- 21:12Speaker 1: go to your club, they don't come to the show.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Well we do know why do you know why? Whatever?
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'll be there. Also an argument, you just fact somebody
- 21:26Speaker 1: gonna end up in the pond with the old tree up.
- 21:37Speaker 1: All right? Well, uh, I guess I'll be there next week.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Sounds like yeah. Coming up next at the top of
- 21:46Speaker 1: the hour, it's nephew, Tommy's run that prank back right
- 21:53Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 21:58Speaker 1: next to the top of the hour, miss Anne with
- 21:59Speaker 1: our national news and headlines. But first come on, nephew,
- 22:03Speaker 1: it is time for you to run that brank. Back
- 22:06Speaker 1: my comb and brush, my comb, And that's because the

- 22:47Speaker 1: about three and a half months ago. Right. What reason
- 22:50Speaker 1: why I was calling was I'm the person that actually
- 22:54Speaker 1: cut your anker half when he passed away. Okay, So
- 22:58Speaker 1: the reason why I was called um is, uh, the
- 23:01Speaker 1: situation is when I cut his how And I know
- 23:05Speaker 1: you don't know the history about me, but my my
- 23:07Speaker 1: daddy and my granddad was was bablus. We all bob us. Okay,

- 23:13Speaker 1: you tell my uncle Magne And I'm trying to see
- 23:15Speaker 1: what's going on forever, okay, and I'm trying to call
- 23:18Speaker 1: you like this. But what I'm telling you is that
- 23:20Speaker 1: my granddad and my daddy, they dad passed down a
- 23:23Speaker 1: brush and a comb to me. Okay, that is like
- 23:27Speaker 1: a tenimental value. Okay, But for the for the last
- 23:32Speaker 1: two or three months, I ain't been able to find
- 23:35Speaker 1: the comb and the brush that I used what I
- 23:38Speaker 1: had cut here now okay, So okay, go and what
- 23:42Speaker 1: I was trying to call and tell you is it
- 23:44Speaker 1: that I can't find it? And I'm almost certain what
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you what I'm little kid? What
- 23:50Speaker 1: many kid? So? So what can I do you find?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Cob brother father? That's what I'm saying. When I did
- 23:56Speaker 1: miss have and ended it up at the fieldal home,
- 23:59Speaker 1: that's the last time I remember having it due three
- 24:03Speaker 1: months right right, it's about three months ago. What I'm
- 24:06Speaker 1: trying to say is I left the comb and brush
- 24:09Speaker 1: and you know what, went to funeral home and did
- 24:12Speaker 1: his hawk and I talked to the funeral home and
- 24:15Speaker 1: they told me that, you know, if I'm trying to
- 24:18Speaker 1: find a Comba bro, I gotta get permission. What code
- 24:20Speaker 1: is the Comba brush? What's the color of the Comba black?
- 24:24Speaker 1: That both from black, the comban black and hard. You
- 24:27Speaker 1: got all kind of combs that black and man, no, no,
- 24:31Speaker 1: don't see. What I'm saying is the comban brushes black.
- 24:33Speaker 1: And I know I lost it, but I'm almost certain
- 24:37Speaker 1: about where it is. Okay, So if you're saying about
- 24:40Speaker 1: where it is what you called that The reason why
- 24:42Speaker 1: I'm calling you because I'm almost certainly left it with him.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You're listening with my bed. So so I called funeral home.
- 24:51Speaker 1: They told me I need to call you in order
- 24:53Speaker 1: to get permission to get it. Oh call you called
- 24:56Speaker 1: funeral homes, get permission from me that you can go
- 24:59Speaker 1: get the coman brush from left the funeral. You go
- 25:03Speaker 1: down there. They got no no, no, See the comban
- 25:07Speaker 1: brush ain't with the funeral. The coman brush in there
- 25:11Speaker 1: with your uncle. The comb and brush in the cave
- 25:20Speaker 1: on the other stage. You got to say that again.
- 25:22Speaker 1: What what I'm trying to say to you is that
- 25:24Speaker 1: the comb and brush is in I'm trying to say.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You just say what I'm saying it that the Colman
- 25:30Speaker 1: brush is in the casket with your uncle. It since
- 25:34Speaker 1: in that is six feet let's see. See. What I'm
- 25:38Speaker 1: trying to say is that the comban brother is sentimental
- 25:41Speaker 1: value to me, bro it couldn't have been to value.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But if you lost it, what now what it want?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Got value? You know? My work? So I just really
- 25:49Speaker 1: got caught up in my work. If you talk my
- 25:53Speaker 1: left with my uncle that theyd three months ago Mane,
- 25:57Speaker 1: what color is he talking about? On? Bro, all, I'm
- 25:59Speaker 1: trying to do what you would see if if you
- 26:01Speaker 1: don't mind approving for them to bring the body up
- 26:04Speaker 1: so I can get the comb and brush. You know
- 26:10Speaker 1: what's there for comb? But but see, but what I'm
- 26:13Speaker 1: trying to explain this sentimental value. I'm trying to get
- 26:16Speaker 1: you all the brain the body so I can get
- 26:18Speaker 1: my comb and brush out of it. Because, like I say,
- 26:20Speaker 1: my dad and my granddad was boomed. Just one thing
- 26:23Speaker 1: you sentimentally, you talking about my dead uncle man, and
- 26:26Speaker 1: you talking about bringing him up out of the ground
- 26:28Speaker 1: for comb. Man, I just got these to start crying
- 26:32Speaker 1: around here, and and I understand what y'all going through
- 26:35Speaker 1: as as a family and stuff. See now I'm trying
- 26:38Speaker 1: to get my combing. And how are you trying to
- 26:40Speaker 1: go about doing this all? Throw it off on boy,
- 26:42Speaker 1: because ain't nobody digging up, nobody to bring back? No
- 26:45Speaker 1: no brush, man, You got me tist off now, mane,
- 26:48Speaker 1: because you're come on to me talking stupid Mane, you talking.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I put on my mom hunter man, that's man, that's start.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Give me a look, man, I ain't trying to start. No,
- 26:55Speaker 1: you're talking like comban brushman only. But I understand all that.
- 26:59Speaker 1: But just a sentimental value man in the middle of me, man,
- 27:03Speaker 1: just something that my people live. Sentimental relieve. Okay, got
- 27:06Speaker 1: my favorite donc man. Okay, you're talking about putting up

- 30:28Speaker 1: I don't have to ask us and brush? Yeah, so
- 30:36Speaker 1: I won't. Just a little some something, all right. We
- 30:40Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. Coming up at the top
- 30:42Speaker 1: of the hour as promised. Ms Anne will be here
- 30:44Speaker 1: with our national news. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 30:48Speaker 1: Morning Show. Today's show we all know fired Matt Lower
- 30:53Speaker 1: almost immediately after allegations of sexual abuse went public. According
- 30:58Speaker 1: to The New York Times, Laer was fired some thirty
- 31:02Speaker 1: or four after an accuser thirty four hours after an
- 31:05Speaker 1: accuser and her lawyer showed up to NBC headquarters. Sources
- 31:09Speaker 1: say NBC New, Both Variety and The New York Times
- 31:12Speaker 1: we're researching multiple claims against Matt Lauer, and here are
- 31:16Speaker 1: some of the allegations being reported. Lauer once reportedly gave
- 31:20Speaker 1: a colleague a sex toy as a present, with an
- 31:22Speaker 1: explicit note about how he wanted them to use it.
- 31:27Speaker 1: While in his office, he dropped his pants, showed off
- 31:30Speaker 1: his I'll say to a different female coworker. When she
- 31:35Speaker 1: declined to do anything, he allegedly yelled at her, and then,
- 31:39Speaker 1: after being fired. Uh, Matt Lauer finally came out with
- 31:42Speaker 1: a statement. He apologized. He said, I apologized to the
- 31:46Speaker 1: people I've hurt. I'm truly sorry. Um, I mean, yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 1: just you know, it's still devastating, It really really is.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's it's still devastating, you know, many times doing it
- 32:00Speaker 1: today show. Yeah, and I've been watching it, I mean
- 32:04Speaker 1: for years we've watched he was the man, I mean,
- 32:07Speaker 1: cool dude, you really always always had a nice spirit,
- 32:10Speaker 1: cool dude. He was always talking, you know, I mean
- 32:12Speaker 1: because you know, look, look, look you don't know everything
- 32:15Speaker 1: about anybody, you know, because I have a lot of
- 32:18Speaker 1: friends that have made a lot of mistakes. I don't
- 32:21Speaker 1: stop being your friend because you messed up. That's what
- 32:24Speaker 1: friendship is. I mean, I mean friendship. Man, If your
- 32:28Speaker 1: friendship is a non judgmental relationship, then I'm with you
- 32:32Speaker 1: ride or die. You know, I'm I'm I'm with you
- 32:35Speaker 1: to the wheels fall off. I don't have many of those,
- 32:38Speaker 1: but if I'm your friend, I will loyally be your friend. Now,
- 32:42Speaker 1: that don't mean I'm gonna defend what you did right
- 32:45Speaker 1: now that that that ain't what that means. Well, it's
- 32:47Speaker 1: like Steve. When Savannah Guthree found out that's Matt Lowerd's
- 32:51Speaker 1: partner on the air, she said, you know, she's shocked,
- 32:56Speaker 1: she's devastated, she's still processing. She said, this is the
- 32:59Speaker 1: man I love of. He is my friend, my dear
- 33:02Speaker 1: dear friend, my partner. She said, how do you reconcile
- 33:06Speaker 1: you know that with someone you love, with someone the
- 33:09Speaker 1: same person who has acted very badly. That's what she said.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I mean, she had just found out the news, and
- 33:15Speaker 1: you know, you don't have bad friends that anyone to
- 33:20Speaker 1: do bad things. It's possible, that's life, but you know
- 33:25Speaker 1: it's I don't. I don't like people who become hypocritical,
- 33:29Speaker 1: like you know, I ever made him. Oh yeah, That's
- 33:33Speaker 1: what I didn't like about Matt because when he had
- 33:36Speaker 1: wasn't hand he was really given. He was really given
- 33:41Speaker 1: Bill a rally a hard he gave it to it,
- 33:44Speaker 1: and he was guilty of the same thing, the same
- 33:48Speaker 1: thing hid Well, I mean nothing. He was doing his job,
- 33:53Speaker 1: That's what I mean. He was present. Yeah, he still
- 33:56Speaker 1: had to do his job. He still had to do
- 33:58Speaker 1: his job. But at the same I don't think he
- 34:00Speaker 1: was being hypocritical. I think he was laying out the
- 34:03Speaker 1: facts because he said to Bill O'Reilly, you had to
- 34:05Speaker 1: be guilty of something for Fox to get rid of
- 34:07Speaker 1: the top guy. I mean, you were the big money maker,
- 34:11Speaker 1: the big sponsorship and uh, you know, he said. Bill
- 34:14Speaker 1: o'rolly said, well, that's not necessarily true. That were other
- 34:17Speaker 1: businesses is involved too, you know, I mean, there's no look.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Once you get busted on that, and if it's true, dog,
- 34:26Speaker 1: it's not a lot you can say. You know what
- 34:29Speaker 1: i mean, I'm sorry is later after that, you know,
- 34:33Speaker 1: and a lot of women are upset because they're saying
- 34:36Speaker 1: they're saying they're sorry now because they're caught. Yeah, you know,
- 34:39Speaker 1: it's a lot of women in the victims believe. Yeah.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Also Steve def JAM founder Russell Simmons. I don't know
- 34:45Speaker 1: if you've heard, he announced that he stepping down. Yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 1: he's from all of his companies. He's stepping down from
- 34:51Speaker 1: his companies. He's built a lot of businesses, you know,
- 34:54Speaker 1: throughout the years. Uh, he's stepping down due to sexual
- 34:57Speaker 1: misconduct allegations as well. He owned several companies. Yes, he
- 35:05Speaker 1: put he put From what I understand, Tommy, he put
- 35:08Speaker 1: other people in place so it wouldn't reflect badly what
- 35:12Speaker 1: he did. It wouldn't reflect badly, Ladies and gentlemen. She's
- 35:15Speaker 1: here without further ado, the one and only Miss Ann
- 35:19Speaker 1: True very much, everybody, Good morning, Good morning. This is
- 35:22Speaker 1: and trip with the news. Everybody. House Democratic leader Nancy
- 35:26Speaker 1: Pelosi is calling on Michigan represented John Conyers to leave
- 35:30Speaker 1: the Congress. I pray for Congressman Conyers and his family
- 35:34Speaker 1: and wish them well. However, Congressman Knyors should resign. Zero
- 35:40Speaker 1: tolerance means consequences for everyone, no matter how great the legacy.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It's no license to harass or discriminate in fact, it
- 35:49Speaker 1: makes it even more disappointing. Well. According to a report
- 35:53Speaker 1: from a radio station in Detroit, Conyers, the longest serving
- 35:55Speaker 1: congressman on the Hill, has decided not to run again.
- 35:58Speaker 1: The eight eight year old can Years, who is currently
- 36:00Speaker 1: hospitalized for stress, is accused of sexual harassment by more
- 36:04Speaker 1: than one former staffer, although he does deny the allegations.
- 36:07Speaker 1: He's been an important legislative voice not only for African Americans,
- 36:10Speaker 1: but for all minorities. He's been under fire ever since
- 36:13Speaker 1: online news service BuzzFeed report that he'd used taxpayer money
- 36:17Speaker 1: for sexual harassment settlement on Capitol Hill. This week, by
- 36:19Speaker 1: the way, the House that Represents passed a resolution requiring
- 36:22Speaker 1: all lawmakers and staff to undergo anti sexual harassment training.
- 36:26Speaker 1: In the waco what seems like an avalanche of misconduct
- 36:28Speaker 1: allegations rattling the Congress as well as the entertainment industry.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Sticking with that in the hip hop world, now, the
- 36:34Speaker 1: latest powerful man to be accused of sexual mists Russell
- 36:37Speaker 1: Simmons accused of sexually assaulting actress and screenwriter Jenny Lamette
- 36:41Speaker 1: back now Jenny Lament if you recognized the name. Her
- 36:45Speaker 1: father is director of Sidney Lamette. He directed The Whiz
- 36:48Speaker 1: and she's the granddaughter of the great Lena Horn. Another woman,
- 36:51Speaker 1: a model of last week, also accused Simmons of rape.
- 36:54Speaker 1: By the way, he says he's stepping away from of
- 36:56Speaker 1: his business interests for now. Reports out there that President
- 37:00Speaker 1: is about to get rid of Rex Tillerson as Secretary
- 37:02Speaker 1: of State. Their reports and several news outlets, including The
- 37:05Speaker 1: New York Times, to the effect that Tittleson is about
- 37:08Speaker 1: to be replaced by CIA director Mike Poonpeo. White House spokespeople, though,
- 37:13Speaker 1: are giving general statements. Rex Tillson has had a number
- 37:16Speaker 1: of runnings with Trump over foreign policy, you may remember,
- 37:18Speaker 1: since taking the job, and even reportedly referred to the
- 37:21Speaker 1: President as a moron. Scientists say at four point one
- 37:24Speaker 1: mac two earthquake hit Delaware yesterday just before five o'clock.
- 37:27Speaker 1: It was actually felt in a tri state area and
- 37:29Speaker 1: sad news actor Jim Nighbors has died. Remember him? Are
- 37:32Speaker 1: you nurse pile of Private Gomer Pyle usmc kill me.

- 38:47Speaker 1: the things in September. I don't know what do you mean?
- 38:49Speaker 1: Did I started this week? Were you the first week?
- 38:51Speaker 1: Were the first we heard about you in the play? Right?
- 38:59Speaker 1: But most Timmy, Johnny Robbins, Givings, Jackie Harry, they all
- 39:05Speaker 1: love me. Are you just doing certain cities? No, selected cities.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I'm on the whole thing every time. Yes, every single night.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Don't discredit me every day. You just do Tuesday and
- 39:19Speaker 1: Wednesdays or no, and you're doing cooking. Call to well, no,
- 39:24Speaker 1: not exactly. You don't do the curtain. Call well, I
- 39:31Speaker 1: can't do the curtain. If he gonna do the curtain,
- 39:33Speaker 1: he won't let me do. Right, that's right because you
- 39:36Speaker 1: reside in his body and that don't you think that's selfish?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Could not be able to come out of every other day?
- 39:43Speaker 1: Just go out there and leave him backstage? Could you
- 39:45Speaker 1: just do that? That's hard. I've tried to leave him
- 39:48Speaker 1: in many days. It's too hard. I can't leave you.
- 39:52Speaker 1: There's a lot of jokes right there. Well anyway, wh
- 40:05Speaker 1: I don't know if he's like with me at me?
- 40:08Speaker 1: And I don't what what is that? Butterfly? Are you
- 40:11Speaker 1: laughing with me or at me? Doing always with you? No,
- 40:17Speaker 1: it's not always with me, it's not. Let's not. Don't
- 40:19Speaker 1: don't do that if you don't come out of curtain?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Call you said, That's what I said. It was selfish
- 40:29Speaker 1: by time I start this, What did you you wanted
- 40:32Speaker 1: it earlier? Why are we doing? Why don't we have
- 40:34Speaker 1: to get to this that time it was out without
- 40:38Speaker 1: a dollar amount. Butterfly. Right, Normally, if I say I
- 40:49Speaker 1: don't get the credit I deserve on this show, you don't,
- 40:52Speaker 1: I agree with you. Hey, listen, thank you Butterfly. Okay,

- 46:53Speaker 1: on your block gave me the number. Man. We was
- 46:55Speaker 1: we were having a little situation. Wanted to reach out
- 46:57Speaker 1: to tell you, uh, some stuff going on in the neighborhood.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Man who wanted to try to make you aware of it. Well,

- 47:15Speaker 1: a lot of people, I guess since the holiday just passed,
- 47:17Speaker 1: you know a lot of people got their stuff out
- 47:19Speaker 1: on the curve already right right now. The problem is
- 47:25Speaker 1: that that that they're saying, man, is that yo, yo,
- 47:27Speaker 1: trash is actually really really foul. It's smelling and smelling
- 47:32Speaker 1: pretty bad. And we wanted to call you, man. And
- 47:34Speaker 1: if you do not, hold on, hold on, hold on.

- 48:21Speaker 1: go back and I'm not gonna go back. Don't what
- 48:23Speaker 1: you're gonna do. I'm telling you what I paid man
- 48:25Speaker 1: that don't tell me to just over here. Okay, well, listen, man,
- 48:29Speaker 1: aren't you concerned that your trash is thinking and reading
- 48:32Speaker 1: through the whole neighborhood. I don't give a damn who
- 48:35Speaker 1: smell my chances they got a problem with it, telling
- 48:37Speaker 1: them come take it out still then and saying out there, okay,
- 48:40Speaker 1: whether that's the problem. The problem is that you took
- 48:43Speaker 1: it out, and you took it out too early. You
- 48:44Speaker 1: shouldn't have put list out till Tuesday morning. And that's
- 48:47Speaker 1: why I mon fide it. If I put it out
- 48:51Speaker 1: there and saying out yesterday, come get it. I'm not
- 48:53Speaker 1: gonna go back and forth with you many even damn

- 49:05Speaker 1: the street, I don't know for my understanding. It's just
- 49:08Speaker 1: a couple of holes in it, and some food or
- 49:11Speaker 1: something must have got out. I don't know if one
- 49:12Speaker 1: of the roads or dog got in into what the
- 49:14Speaker 1: case may be. But you know, we need to try
- 49:17Speaker 1: to get your trash in the backyard. And my chas

- 49:34Speaker 1: I just going and calling myself. I tell you you
- 49:37Speaker 1: and he you my phone. I'm thinking that there. Okay,
- 49:44Speaker 1: well listen, let's swerve this way. We decide on the
- 49:46Speaker 1: case we got to this situation with you, just that
- 49:49Speaker 1: I just come over there and put the trash in
- 49:52Speaker 1: your backyard, and just Tuesday morning and tunesday morning, I'll
- 49:55Speaker 1: come back over there and take it out that way,
- 49:57Speaker 1: all the smell of being in your backyard and say,
- 50:00Speaker 1: you go what, I'm gonna come over there and put
- 50:02Speaker 1: the trash in your backyard so to so the smell
- 50:06Speaker 1: that I mean, that's that. Let me say, let me

- 50:13Speaker 1: you come over here. Bring all they had a problem
- 50:16Speaker 1: saying my chance, see to come over here and take
- 50:18Speaker 1: it out. You. I mean you you're trying. You're trying
- 50:21Speaker 1: to you're trying to act like it, don't smell the
- 50:23Speaker 1: man you don't give them. If it's man, I'll tell
- 50:25Speaker 1: you what I do. I go out to Polo when
- 50:28Speaker 1: that when that when they helped you out of Look okay,
- 50:31Speaker 1: but see does not want the people in the neighborhood
- 50:33Speaker 1: want we want you to give a damn what take
- 50:35Speaker 1: won't I'm telling you what I'm gonna do? And how
- 50:38Speaker 1: do did you get my phone? Ever? Any down? I'd
- 50:41Speaker 1: already told you, man, I got your number for one
- 50:43Speaker 1: of the neighbors on your street that said they don't
- 50:45Speaker 1: want to get should have left one to the right?
- 50:48Speaker 1: Which one? Listen? Listen, listen, swear won't you get to
- 50:52Speaker 1: the meet of the problem. The problem is your trash?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Think don't How is my chance? How the hell y'all
- 50:57Speaker 1: pickpoint my saying now to everybody else edge on the block?
- 51:01Speaker 1: And how the hell you smell like? I don't know, man,
- 51:03Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I don't know if
- 51:04Speaker 1: you're trads busted, don't open up what the deal is?
- 51:06Speaker 1: But everybody's saying. Everybody's saying it swerve trash, that that streak,
- 51:11Speaker 1: that's too much chands that needs to be going through
- 51:13Speaker 1: time and see what thanks it's by chance out there,
- 51:17Speaker 1: and it's gonna say out there I said the ain't
- 51:19Speaker 1: come get it, and you ain't coming over there. Okay,
- 51:21Speaker 1: now let's see that's where you run swam out. I
- 51:23Speaker 1: ain't coming over there. I'm coming over there, and I'm
- 51:25Speaker 1: gonna take that trance and put it in the backyard
- 51:27Speaker 1: to too. Now you're gonna try to get in my
- 51:29Speaker 1: way whatever, but I got to come and get the sands.
- 51:32Speaker 1: And if I tell you what, bring you over here?
- 51:34Speaker 1: Right now, I'll put on my shoes. I'm standing on
- 51:36Speaker 1: the points right now at the car. Come on reco

- 51:42Speaker 1: and I'm smelling your man trash. Take your chands out
- 51:46Speaker 1: my make smell. But you ain't there to come take
- 51:49Speaker 1: it out and set you that a lift swerves. I'm
- 51:52Speaker 1: gonna say this word that I call of like, excuse me,
- 51:56Speaker 1: tell calling about it? Who in the hell told you
- 51:58Speaker 1: called me swerves? Anything? That? Okay, Well that's what they

- 52:05Speaker 1: You don't call me that name. Now you saying my
- 52:08Speaker 1: chance come over here and take chance out? Hey, man,
- 52:11Speaker 1: I ain't I ain't nobody sitting there, scatter you swim.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to get to get that. Didn't not just

- 52:27Speaker 1: on the fort's right now, come on over and meet
- 52:29Speaker 1: me at about the mask. Thank you trash. You guys,
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'm standing right doing now. Okay, well, I tell you what.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I'm on my way, nah, and guess what I'm gonna
- 52:38Speaker 1: do when I get over there. You ain't gonna do
- 52:40Speaker 1: you're gonna do. I'm gonna tell you my damn name
- 52:43Speaker 1: when I get over that. My name is niph You
- 52:45Speaker 1: tire me from the Steve Harvey Lorny Show. You just
- 52:48Speaker 1: got franked by your cousin or Reese. Oh out of here,
- 53:01Speaker 1: Hey man, I gotta ask you something, dog, What is
- 53:03Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 53:06Speaker 1: show in the land. When they go in many baby,
- 53:14Speaker 1: they go all the way in. Won't let go black
- 53:17Speaker 1: people go in? Peter you know what it really immediately
- 53:20Speaker 1: they go in because there's already enough pressure being Yeah,
- 53:24Speaker 1: you know, we got to talk about trash treating us
- 53:28Speaker 1: out on the phone right here, and then I'm a
- 53:29Speaker 1: little works right, thank you. Genie told y'all earlier. But
- 53:34Speaker 1: I am the star, baby boy. You can catch me
- 53:36Speaker 1: in Cincinnati to night cleaving the Mark, Columbus, Ohio on Sunday,
- 53:40Speaker 1: just letting everybody star baby boy. Man, I'm just this
- 53:43Speaker 1: is bad. Keep us Mama's boy. By the way, thank you.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Was the movie he was acute. That was the story
- 53:59Speaker 1: of his life. No, it's not a Tommy on the
- 54:03Speaker 1: curtain call. Who do they announced last? Johnny? Johnny can't
- 54:08Speaker 1: kill because they don't want people to feel negatively, you
- 54:14Speaker 1: know if they say his name, But then you acted
- 54:16Speaker 1: that ladies and gentlemen, Johnny gil it's from the guts,
- 54:24Speaker 1: keep your fists coming out, ladies and gentlemen. Conny, Tommy
- 54:36Speaker 1: nothing not I get nothing, ladies and gentlemen, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 54:43Speaker 1: Thomas Miles nothing because they didn't clap for Tommy. So
- 54:48Speaker 1: you go with his full name? Is that Steve Nephews.
- 54:54Speaker 1: People happen to two thousand seats dope. All right, in
- 55:01Speaker 1: about an hour, another episode in about an hour, another
- 55:10Speaker 1: episode of bad acting theater, the Chapman's. But up next,
- 55:14Speaker 1: it's the Strawberry Letter Show. You're listening to the Steve
- 55:20Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, get ready, kay, Michelle, our
- 55:23Speaker 1: girl will be our special guest, uh, coming up in
- 55:28Speaker 1: about an hour, about an hour or so. We love her. Alright,
- 55:33Speaker 1: So before we get to today's crazy Strawberry Letter. And
- 55:35Speaker 1: this letter is really crazy today. Did you guys see this? Yesterday?
- 55:39Speaker 1: Wall Street is celebrating another milestone. The Dow and the
- 55:43Speaker 1: SMP five hundred hit record highs. It's Wall Street bets
- 55:47Speaker 1: on strong economic growth. The dal Jones Industrial Average and
- 55:51Speaker 1: S and P five hundred reached all time highs as
- 55:55Speaker 1: investors bet the U. S. Economy's momentum would continue. Goldman
- 55:59Speaker 1: Sachs and J P. Morgan Chase were the best performing
- 56:02Speaker 1: stocks in the doll The financial sector climbed one percent
- 56:06Speaker 1: in early trade to leave the SMP five hundred. The
- 56:09Speaker 1: sector posted its best session since March first on Tuesday.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Uh The U S economy has picked up steam this year,
- 56:16Speaker 1: growing at an annualized rate of more than three percent.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Each of the past two quarters. The boom in the
- 56:21Speaker 1: stock market is clear reflection of improvements in the US economy.
- 56:25Speaker 1: You know, Donald Trump, our president, is taking full credit
- 56:28Speaker 1: for all of it, full credit, right, Yeah, have anything
- 56:33Speaker 1: to do with the new tax reform. Well, it makes
- 56:38Speaker 1: you wonder exactly. So Steve on the show, you're, of course,
- 56:43Speaker 1: are the richest person we know in your opinion, should
- 56:46Speaker 1: we invest in the stock market? Give us some money
- 56:49Speaker 1: tips if you will. Look, you know, the stock market
- 56:53Speaker 1: is not a guaranteed play, right, You gotta understand that
- 56:57Speaker 1: there are safer plays to do. Um. But if you
- 57:03Speaker 1: if you don't mind risk, you know, it's it's it's
- 57:07Speaker 1: a good place to be, you know. But there are
- 57:11Speaker 1: people who just don't you know. I mean, the best
- 57:13Speaker 1: investment you can make, in my opinion is real estate.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Best that's to me. Now I could be wrong, that
- 57:22Speaker 1: could be some economic experts out there and no more
- 57:24Speaker 1: to me. Just for me. Come from where you come from,
- 57:28Speaker 1: realist dirt. The reason you want to buy dirt is
- 57:32Speaker 1: because they're not making no more of that and with
- 57:36Speaker 1: the population state of increasing, somebody gonna need that dirt
- 57:40Speaker 1: and your family very easily. Yeah, man, and so that
- 57:44Speaker 1: that to me. But you know what, if you have,
- 57:47Speaker 1: I think it's good for young people. I recommend to
- 57:49Speaker 1: young millennials and everything to get in the stock market,
- 57:52Speaker 1: you know, with with with a thousand bucks is so
- 57:55Speaker 1: and see what to do because you know you can
- 57:57Speaker 1: get in there for five hundred, four hundred three fifty
- 58:00Speaker 1: and just try if that money doubles in a year
- 58:04Speaker 1: and a half. There's nothing else you can put your
- 58:06Speaker 1: money into where it could double. In it it could
- 58:09Speaker 1: double in six months. You just don't know that, you know.
- 58:13Speaker 1: So I would recommend it, yes, in small increments, not
- 58:18Speaker 1: all of your money, because you could wake up one
- 58:20Speaker 1: morning and just it's gone wiped out. Yeah. Man, it
- 58:24Speaker 1: can happen. But land is definitely the best property. Didn't
- 58:27Speaker 1: get your property hold onto it. That's that's my record
- 58:32Speaker 1: in l A. Oh my goodness. And then let me
- 58:38Speaker 1: tell you something. I'll be looking at prices of houses
- 58:40Speaker 1: and not be going really they want that? I kid
- 58:46Speaker 1: you not, Margine. I looked at the house the other day.
- 58:50Speaker 1: This is better than that. Chris Jenner was on the
- 58:53Speaker 1: show and she says, Steve, I know you and Margin
- 58:56Speaker 1: are going to be looking for another house soon. So
- 58:59Speaker 1: when Soul's houses for sale, I said, really, I didn't
- 59:03Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, his house is for sale. I guess
- 59:07Speaker 1: how much? How much? Then she just threw it out
- 59:09Speaker 1: there like sixty million. Huh, what a million in the
- 59:15Speaker 1: house of sixty million, and threw it out there like
- 59:18Speaker 1: it was what nothing? She said in his house, and
- 59:20Speaker 1: the dude that was would have sitting Now, you don't
- 59:22Speaker 1: want that house that's old, sixty I don't want that house.
- 59:26Speaker 1: That's Oh if it's brand new, a sixty million, I
- 59:28Speaker 1: don't want it. Right, Yeah, six million house ain't coming.
- 59:32Speaker 1: It ain't that you can't afford it. What we tell
- 59:34Speaker 1: met the nut you just take Listen, you can't tell
- 59:44Speaker 1: you well in that house take it with you can't.
- 59:46Speaker 1: You know, I can't take none of that if you
- 59:50Speaker 1: want to leave all that for me saying how about that,
- 59:53Speaker 1: y'all get the house and we'll stay over this and
- 59:56Speaker 1: never see each other. We gotta get to this letter.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Come on, buggle up, hold on time. We got it
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: full hibberties, strawberry letta and it will be answered by
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the rich black man. Thank you Tommy. Subject subject Uncle Steve.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Oh this is gonna make Tommy mad. Uncle Steve, what
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: should I do? Good morning, Uncle Steve and Shirley. First,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: let me say that I am addressing you as Uncle Steve,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: because you are indeed an uncle to me. I don't
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: have many men in my family, and the ones I
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: do have, I wouldn't dare ask them anything because all
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: of their situations are tacked up background. I've been lied to,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: put second and not chosen so many times, never fought
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for what I wanted or even spoke up about how
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I really felt. Always knew my worth, but never live
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: it up to it. I finally made a choice not
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to settle for good enough, so I dated it and
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: if I wasn't, if it wasn't what I wanted, I
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: left it alone without question, from the guy with no
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: job to the guy with it all from twenty five
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to forty one, and no one did it for me.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I am a smart, attractive and independent thirty one year
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: old woman and this is my problem. Five months ago
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I met it. I met this twenty six year old
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: man who just touched my heart. He was a complete surprise.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I really thought that he was the one, and honestly speaking,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I still do. For the first three months we were fined,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: but I had issues of wanting more time. Then, out
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: of the blue, he tells me that he moved back
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: in with his ex girlfriend and he couldn't see me anymore.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Now I know why it didn't get the time I wanted.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I was crushed. Less than a week after he told
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: me this, he called me and told me that he
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: thinks he made a mistake. Well, two weeks after the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: phone call, I saw him and we spent the night together.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I left him in my bed and I wrote a
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: note expressing how I felt. When I returned, I saw
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: where he left me a response and told me that
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: he feels happy and loved when he is with me.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Since then, we did talk and he told me that
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he is not sure of what he wants and that
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: he is working on getting his own place. He was
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: back and forth with his ex and his mom. He
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: said that he is not sure if it will always
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: be this way between us. He's so skeptical of being
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: with me. From what he tells me, his relationship with
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: his ex has always been rocky and unfulfilling, but he
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: keeps coming back, keeps going back. The sex was given
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: early on, sooner than I anticipated, but I made the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: decision to give it based on a personal drought. That's
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: not what moved me, because I felt like he was
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: it before I even shared my body, before the ex
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: situation came about. When we are together, we laugh and
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: talk for hours about anything, um, but we never argue.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: He's not perfect, neither of my but we fit together perfectly.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I'm still seeing him, and I know you're gonna tell
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: me I shouldn't be. I feel I can't walk away
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: from him, Uncle Steve? What should I do? Should I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: stop seeing him? Is he using me? I feel like
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: he's being sincere signed. Not ready to let go, but
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: for my sanity, I will. We'll be right back. You're
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up in about
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: twenty minutes. Bad Acting Theater with the Chapman's. You don't
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: want to miss that. But come on, Steve right now.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter. Oh ma'am,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: you're calling me Uncle Steve. Just let me hip you
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to something. Uh these decisions, Uh, this is on you.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: You're thirty one. The guy that you finally decided to
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: settle on is twenty six. You say that. Okay, First
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: of all, here's the whole gist of the letter. You
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: fail for this twenty six year old man who has
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: touched my heart. He was a complete surprise. I really
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: thought he was the one, and honestly speaking, I still do.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: For the first three months, we will find but I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: had issues of wanting more time. Then out of the blue,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: he tells me that he's moved back in with his
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: ex girlfriend and he couldn't see me anymore. Now I
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: know why he didn't have the time I wanted. I
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: was crushed. Okay, just right there from the outset of
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: you all beginning that you thought was a complete surprise.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: You've always had time issue? How could this have possibly
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: been the man you've waited for, the one You know
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: he's the one, but he has always had time issues
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: When a man is the one, Ladies, I'm gonna share
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: this with you about us. That is nothing that can
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: keep us away, is nothing that can keep us away
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: when we really won't you because you will make time
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: for what's important to you. We will create time. We
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: will designed time. We will rearrange the clock, we will
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: call somebody, we will reschedule, we will put on with
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the hell. We just won't go. That's how men are so.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Now from the very beginning, you've had time issues right there.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: How can you possibly think that was he was a one? Also,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: let me throw this act you now. Somewhere in the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: letter that you read up in to him two weeks
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: later after y'all broke up, he moved. She gave it
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: up early, you know, and then he told you that
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: he moved and moved back in with his ex girlfriend.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Now somewhere in the letter that says that he lives
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: between his ex wife and his mama house. Okay, ladies,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: come on, now, you're dating a man that go is
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: between his ex, his house and his mama house. The
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: ex ignorant and you ignorant. He's not the one. Okay,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: let's just say that he cannot be the one because
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: at this twenty six year old does not have hisself together.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Twenty six year old who do? He is the atypical
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: one who don't have it together, has nothing to offer you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: The ex or his mama, Yeah, there's nothing serious between
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: her and this guy. He ain't got no rent for
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: the mama, for the ex. He ain't gonna handle rent
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: for you. She says. He's trying to get his own place. Lady,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: listen to me when that's gonna happen. See, you're twenty
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: six year old dude, and you're trying to get your
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: own place. What what you mean you're trying to get
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: your own place? Why was you living at Beitfotus? Oh
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: you met him? Why was he living? See, ladies, I
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I hate when y'all do this to yourselves and then
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: want the answer to come outside of yourself, when all
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: these answers lie within yourself. You know, I've often wondered, like, uh,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: we are we almost offer this stranger letter. This lady
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: told me one time. She said, oh, um, you know,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I resent the fact that you keep reiterating that if
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you're a single mother, that you need a man to
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: help turn the boy into a man. If my man
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: was I would never allow him to raise my son
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: because he's a jerk, and all he would have taught
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: my son to be was how to be a jerk.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: We often times overlooked these facts. Ladies. You picked him,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: You decided to have the baby with that man. Now
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: you came to the conclusion he a jerk, he ain't
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: helping out. See, all this gotta be covered before you
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: have the baby. But see, all women want to do?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Is some about this man a dog? This man ain't nothing.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: You pick this one? Somebody picking good men out? I know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: all right, Steve, we gotta get out of here. Email

- 1:16:12Speaker 1: would have never got never a little bit more man
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: a key. But the whole song is off. Kid, Hey,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I'm all key, key But back to back to the
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: writer though, So how many roles is Tommy? We'll see
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: if you kill a role, you have to bring another
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: character back. Oh because office, by the way, put your
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: hands in you know what you know, if this was scandal,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: you wouldn't be talking like that. But since you are
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: not Shonda Rhymes, don't nobody questions nobody right your post
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: minutes of something? Dare you? I can't ask a question
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: trying to get into and he didn't even put himself
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: in the script. This man, I'm really bad. You know,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: bad when you don't want to be in it? All right?
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Coming up, as promised our girls singer, songwriter and business
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: owner the Fabulous Ca Michelle, you're listening to the Steven Show, Hey,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: as promised everybody, I Special guests a singer songwriter. Uh,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the first African American to have a partnership with Jack
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Daniels and got paid for it. I have several friends
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: who have had partnerships with I'm talking about so much
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: got stop ship. But she's the first liquor partnership of
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: this kind. That's I didn't know that. That's amazing, man.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: But more partly though, she's been in the studio and
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: a new album drops December filth, and we're gonna talk
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: to you about the new music and what she's been
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: up to. Ladies and gentlemen, A girl, please welcome to
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: the show one and only Kamschat guys. So upbeat. How
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: are you guys doing this morning? Yeah, we're good girl
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: this morning. See where in the wake? People? Up business?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: We can't come something we have to Well, it's super
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: early here and I have a new album come out.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: It comes out actually December the eight. Yeah, it's called
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Kimberly the people I used to know. It's my fourth
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: album on an anti record, and it seems like time
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: he's just really flown. So um yeah, it's like I
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: just got there. But for me, this fourth album has
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: been really about not being gimmicky or trendy. I just
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: wanted to do the music that I grew up for one,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: and that was where there was live instrumentation and it
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: was great, you know, lyrics and everything. So this album
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: is Kimberly. Okay, that's slick. Now your lead single, can't
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Make a Man. It was certified gold. This is your
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: first goal certificate. Congratulations, Yes, yes, yes. Then that song,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I liked that song long and um it was just
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a mixtape song and it was just saying with women
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: like always relate to and that you can't raise nobody
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: else the sun, you know what I'm saying. Like he
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: got to want to do it on his own, so
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: it hit home to people. So that song, I just
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: got goal on that. And then we just put out
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: a song either Way with Chris Brown and the name
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: we called make this Song Cry, and that kind of
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: offended my fiance, but it was hold on, hold on,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, you can't make this song cry
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: for first of all, will Alway. First of all, what fiance?
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Then let me just go and get there first, because
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I don't know about this. Proud You're like a man,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: act like you Okay, okay, okay, okay, so okay, shill.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Who is this guy who? His name is Cassis Sen.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I've been knowing him for like nineteen years. He is
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: a doctor. And then it and we've been dating now
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: for almost about a year and a half now, but
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: we've been friends that long. I was like, it's high
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: school crushed. You have a great relationship, like you know
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: what they got to stay about my d M enough
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: of this. So I wanted something like that. My parents
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: are together, Um, they're together, So I want I've always seen,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I never laughed what a man is supposed to be.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I had my grandfather. He's still here, he just had
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: his eighty eight birthday. He raised all of the kidson
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: after my grandmother passed. So I wanted a man like
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: that and like my father, you know, I didn't want
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: you know, just a lot of hoop and holler. Oh
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: it's cool for the blogs. It looks cute, but it's
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: really about me growing and you know, really starting a family. Okay,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: so okay, So now you say he got a little
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: upset about the song this song cry, Let's let's talk
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: about that. Why Because sometimes y'all forget what you got?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: You know how you got that beautiful Messrs White we're
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: real fice me, you know, and but mind him. You
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: know that I dropped a lot of dude for you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: and a lot of things, and I'm sacrificed a lot.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: But like and it's like a wake up call, Like
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I'm saying to him, quit playing game boy? How soon
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: do we forget? So now all these girls are fringy
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: to they men, And he just looked at me and
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: just like trying to giggles and shaw just head wow.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: But that's cool though, that's that's that's what. First of all,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: congratulations on that. Then you you know that Memphis girl
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: I had wanted. Do you know Marjorie is don't let
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: the blue Green Eyes food? Because she turned off spin
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: on you. She is beautiful and she's like, y'all like gold.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: You know, I'll be gold. And you know, people don't
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: look like you have any relationship. I love how you
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: always haven't with you by your side, and that's how
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: it's supposed to be. And we're not taught that. In
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: my generation, we're taught to call women out of their
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: names and we're tawed. You know, it's cool to be
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: a side piece or to have a lot of different women.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I still look to the men who all their wife.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: That's that's right, right, Really tell you something that's right,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: because so many young women sadly because of absence of
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: what you've had. You've always had an example of a
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: real man in your life, your father, your grandfather, so
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you've seen what it looks like when a young girl
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: don't have that, she's at a disadvantage. So now songs
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: about being a side piece, threesomes. You there the woman
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you know, you just you the trick and everybody going
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: along with it like this this way, it's just cool.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: It really ain't high I supposed to go not really no, no,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: you can do it, but that ain't highposed to go. Yeah,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: And I just want something different, like you know, like
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: the Jack Dames thing. Like I remember going into Atlantic
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and they said, well, what endorsements do you want? I said,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Jack Daves. They said, well that had happened. Only people
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: they ever endorsed with Frank Sinatra and the Day Matthews band.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: And so after that, the number one buyer of black
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: names honey is African American women. And after that they
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: wanted a woman who really drank it, who's outenes And
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: I had a song, and many songs Jack Daniels is
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the only man I'll love the trust. That's what I
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: come on. Guys now they time back. I had like
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: this contest would be et like three hundred thousand people enter.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: They give some more money to like, you know, another content.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I said, no, I want to ring, and I said, no,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: we don't do that. And I kind of held out
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and talked to them about it. And I'm the first
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: person ever to have their own drink with Jack Daniels.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: In fourteen thousand stores and growing. We'll have more stores
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: in March, and I get paid for every case. So
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: al right, girl doesn't want to take When I stopped
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: from bud to me, I didn't want to say the
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: girl the purcast. Can you hang on, Michelle? Can you
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: hang on all right? You're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: All right, we're back with Kate Michelle. We were talking
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: about we were just discussing the Jack Daniel hardness shield,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and so we kind of got you know, it got
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: good to its cave. Michelle said. Normally they just public
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: eye when I slapped somebody, They yeah, what's your drink
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: with Jack Daniels? An I drink its Southern peach. Jack
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Daniels got a Southern Peach. Yeah, and I tried it out.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I got to pick the flavor, and you know, I'm
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: so irvous. I was like, I want a gold cap.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: And it was like, you know, you had these mandibles,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: any of my RBC any of that. They're like, no,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: we don't do that. I said, I really want to
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: gold cap. They ended up giving me that gold cap
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: the drink. I got to see my drinks leave like
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: the belt where they make it. They gave me land.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I've really been, you know, really great. Yeah that's what
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: you mean. You gotta land. And yeah, they gave me
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: some man that gave me a piece of man to
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: be a part of. Like the Jack Daniels club. Girl
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: down here and started drinking girl right on this drink
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: and the girls. I loving it. So, you know, I
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: opened up my own restaurant and the restaurants pack like
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: on a two hour away and we actually make a
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: Southern Peach funnel cake where we talked to the peaches
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: in the Southern Peach and it's this big, oversized funnel cake.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: So I just love food. So not only am I singing,
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I'm really branching out because there's not an African American
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Martha Steward or things like that, something that I'm really
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: good at. So why now I looked like you're shaping
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: up to be the female Puffy. Yes, that boy doing
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: he hat playing. I really like doing business because so
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: many people counted me out like they didn't understand even
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: though I was on Loving hip Hop or I'll do reality.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I still graduated from Florida and the university, you know,
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: I still it was miss family and I just got
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: the Long Award just this year. Um yeah, I'll be
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: working seeds. I mean, and they don't ever want you
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: all to hear that. But it's okay because I feel
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: like I say to do us for the heart and
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: not the charts. As long as I'm taking care of
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: my family and as long as i study stacking money
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: and you know different, you know income, I'm okay with that.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: They don't have to pat me on the back. It's okay.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: I know that's right, and that's the way you ought
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: to do it too. Have you set a date for
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: the wedding, Well we are. I think we're gonna do
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: like the summertime also, And that was like I didn't
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: with essence, you know, I went through like ibs. I
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: was trying to go ahead and get my eggs out
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: and people have babies all the time. That ain't nothing.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: I never thought that I was gonna have like fertility issues.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: That's something that we've been battling so that we can't
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: start a family. It's up to God if you're gonna
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: have the kids, and it's up to God. You can
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: always adopt. You don't have a son, he doesn't have any.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: So we were able to get like five eggs out
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: and two of them took as embryos. So I'm very
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: excited about it. So don't leave me now. I have
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: one more round and then we're gonna get ready for
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: our wedding. But that's scared of not knowing if you
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: can have kids. Think it's kind of been a lot. Wow, Wow,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Hey y'all listen. Uh. The album is called This Is
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Kimberly all the people I used to know. It's available
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: in stores and iTunes on December eight. Just blow it off.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. You hope I even needing it so
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: that people who want to hear the good music. So
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: I won't let you. Thank you, all right, and we
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: show are gonna look for k Michelle. We love you, girl,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: appreciate you. You're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show. Today's show.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: We all know fired Matt lower almost immediately after allegations
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: of sexual abuse went public. According to The New York Times,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Lauer was fired some thirty or four after an accuser
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: thirty four hours after an accuser and her lawyer showed
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: up to NBC headquarters. Sources say NBC knew. Both Variety
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: and The New York Times we're researching multiple claims against
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Matt Lauer, and here are some of the allegations being reported.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Lauer once reportedly gave a colleague a sex toy as
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: a present, with an explicit note about how he wanted
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: them to use it. While in his office, he dropped
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: his pants, showed off his I'll say to a different
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: female coworker. When she declined to do anything, he allegedly
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: yelled at her, and then after being fired, uh, Matt
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: Lauer finally came out with a statement. He apologized. He said,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: I apologized to the people I've hurt. I'm truly sorry.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, just you know, it's still devastating, it
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: really really is. It's it's STI stating I mean, you know,
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I've many you know, many times doing it today show. Yeah,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: and I've been watching it. I mean for years we've
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: watched he was the man, cool dude, you really always
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: always had a nice spirit, cool dude. He was always talking,
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: you know. I mean because you know, look, look, look
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: you don't know everything about anybody. You know, because I
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: have a lot of friends that have made a lot
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: of mistakes. I don't stop being your friend because you
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: messed up. That's what friendship is. I mean, I mean friendship. Man,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: If your friendship is a non judgmental relationship, then I'm
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: with you, ride or die. I don't have many of those.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: But if I'm your friend, I will loyally be your friend. Now,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: that don't mean I'm gonna defend what you did right
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: now that that that ain't what that means. Well, it's
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: like Steve. When Savannah Guthree found out that's Matt Lowerd's
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: partner on the air, she said, you know, she's shocked,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: she's devastated, she's still processing. She said, this is the
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: man I love. He is my friend, my dear dear friend,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: my partner. She said, how do you reconcile you know
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: that with someone you love with someone the same person
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: who has acted very badly. That's what she said. I
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: mean she had just found out the news, and you don't. Yeah,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: you can't have bad friends. That anyone could do bad things.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: It's possible, that's life, but you know it's I don't.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I don't like people who become hypocritical, like you know,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: I've never made him. Oh that's what I didn't like
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: about Matt because when he hadn't hand, he was really given.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: He was really given Bill a rally a hard he
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: gave it to it, and he was guilty of the
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: same thing, the same thing. Well, I mean nothing. He
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: was doing his job, that's what I mean. Yeah, he
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: was present. Yeah, he still had to do his job.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: He still he had to do his job. But at
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: the same time, I don't think he was being hypocritical.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I think he was laying out the facts because he
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: said to Bill O'Reilly, you had to be guilty of
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: something for Fox to get rid of their top God,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I mean, you were the big moneymaker, the big sponsorship,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: and uh, you know he said, Bill Oroley said, well
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: that's not necessarily true. That were other businesses is involved too,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: you know, I mean there's no look. Once you get
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: busted on that, and if it's true, dog, it's not
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: a lot you can say I'm sorry is later after that,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: you know, and a lot of women are upset because
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: they're saying they're saying they're sorry now because they're caught. Yeah,
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: you know, it's a lot of women and the victims believe.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: Coming up at forty nine after the hour, we'll be
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: back to wrap up the show with just one more thing.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Show. Here we are with the
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: last break of the day the week. This is just
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: one more thing. Oh what I got? I got want
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: to see if me and Junior are gonna race again,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: then I think it's like this, Well, if that challenge happens,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: I think it's fair that Jay and up the Steve
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: race too. I feel like, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: like something like hot soft man. Yeah, I can't let
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: me tell you something. Yeah, that's an ugly race though.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: You don't really want to see two sixty year old
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: dudes running, Steve. Have you seen Jay get up that process?
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: Just get just watching two sixty year old dudes run.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: It's just a slow ass race. It looks at somebody
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: gonna pull up with a muscles. It's ugly. You got
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: another challenge. Now what I will do is I get
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: in the gym part with y'all. I get in the
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: gym with Kei and Tommy though. Yeah, dog, that that's
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: I outlift both of them because you got country strength.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: I've seen you. But time I don't believe that. No, no,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: when you hugged me and you pulled me in, that's
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: against my wheel. Forced ain't got no choice but to
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: come in here. Yeah, I know, man, you shake his
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: hands like whoa, I stopped shaking it. He's got that
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: great up. But the thing with Junior and Junior, you know,
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: I love you. I've just never ever heard you talk
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: about running or anything. I tell you what, three people
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: come on here and just tell you how you see.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about that. But all we
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: know that treadmill shot. Your off for the tread was
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: not yeah, and that's all we that's our only reference
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: point I want to hear. In Junior defense, he had
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: on Air Force War, which is not running not They
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: real flat and cumbersome. Then he had the pair of sweatpasts,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: and he had keys and cell phone, so it was
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: going one way and why he was going the other way,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: and it looked very uncoordinated. That's all. But you know,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: hold minute horse speed was a tread meal on leven
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: point Folk. Now I did the level point Folk, but
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: I only did it for like about about six to
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: eight seconds. Then I had to come on out because
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: I felt things in the pool and Pope, see, I'm
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: gonna do what I can do they can't nobody else do,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: and I can do it. Been to anybody on this show,
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: what out mean everything? I'm out hateful, I'm out? Yeah,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: you got that. Yeah, a real challenge though, I'm a
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: outsick everybody. So, Junior, what are your feelings about it? Well,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you know, I feel as if Tommy always likes to brag.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: That's how he gets you know, he gets everybody on
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: his team because he always talks about what he does
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: doing something you don't have to talk about. Michael Jordan
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: never talks about knocking down the jump shot. That just
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: what he does. That's what Tommy work together. But I'm
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: gonna have to go with team Tommy. I'm going team Toime.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: I expect you because you're out meeting me anyway. What
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: are your feelings. I think I will leave Junior by
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: land slide. Yes, good good. If we're running a fifty,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: let's say we running fifty, I'm gonna beat it. I'm
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: gonna beat Junior at least by team. What did you
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: run with Dan, who didn't look like you were running
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: at all? Show up for? You mean? What did he
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: show up? Supposed to be a foot race? It looks
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: like it looked like a fighter jet was lined up
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: with a mosquito, right man? People still watching that on
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: YouTube watching it? Okay? So but okay, and I think
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: the race should be uh seventy five yards? Okay, okay,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: we put that he really wants us to have. You
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: really want to put some money on the time. Put
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: money happens, It should happen. You put money on you.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: So here's what I think we should do. I think
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: we should do it before Christmas, videotaping Christmas. But let
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: but let the house, let me be the house. You
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: take all the money, right, it's Awf'll just take he
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: just want I'm in l a next week. Let's just
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: get it over next week. Next week? Oh you out
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: here next ready? Yess what I'm would be time in
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: l a hold on, hold, on, hold, on hold, come
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: over there when you're right now, show what you want
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: to do with that. Let's do it. Will you be
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: here next Wednesday? Yes, sir? What did het Wednesday? I'm
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: dark on the TV set. I say, let's do it
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: on Wednesday. Why, oh my gosh, I'm winning. When we're
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: gonna do it, we got do it at your house.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: Nobody in there? No, no, no no, I'll tell you what.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna research where we can do it. Yeah, send
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: me five yards straight away, probably over there on one
