Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Democrats Reinstated after 'Insurrection' in TN House & BUD LIGHT Doubles Down on Woke Beer Move!
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There's a big story that is coming out of my hometown.
- 0:04Speaker 1: An expelled black lawmaker by the last name of Pearson
- 0:09Speaker 1: as returning to the Tennessee House. Now, how did he
- 0:12Speaker 1: get expelled in the first place. He led what democrats
- 0:15Speaker 1: would describe as an insurrection on the floor of the
- 0:19Speaker 1: Tennessee House after he was demanding gun control legislation after
- 0:23Speaker 1: the shooting at that Christian school and those school children
- 0:28Speaker 1: in Nashville. Now, this Tennessee State Representative, Justin Pearson, who
- 0:34Speaker 1: had attended a rally at the National Civil Rights Museum,
- 0:38Speaker 1: also was demanding that the County Commission in Shelby County
- 0:43Speaker 1: put him back into Nashville reinstate. Um. They voted seven
- 0:47Speaker 1: oh to reinstate Pearson as a state representative, even though
- 0:50Speaker 1: he led what democrats to describe, I'm not describing it
- 0:53Speaker 1: that way, what democrats would describe as an insurrection. He
- 0:57Speaker 1: is a second of two black Democrats that were spelled
- 1:00Speaker 1: from the Republican led Tennessee House. He will return to
- 1:05Speaker 1: the legislature after the Commission voted to reinstate him nearly
- 1:10Speaker 1: a week after he was banned from the House, kicked
- 1:14Speaker 1: out of the House, not for supporting gun control measures,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but for leading the protesters to the floor of the Legislature.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Hundreds and hundreds of supporters marched with Justin Pearson, and
- 1:30Speaker 1: they decided this was what they were going to do.
- 1:32Speaker 1: The marches have continued as more marched with him through
- 1:36Speaker 1: Memphis to the Chebby County Board of Commissioners meeting, chanting
- 1:39Speaker 1: and cheering before entering the commission chambers, where officials quickly
- 1:43Speaker 1: voted seven to zero on the Liberal commission to restore
- 1:47Speaker 1: his position. Quote the message for all the people in
- 1:52Speaker 1: Nashville who decided to expel us, you can't expel hope,
- 1:57Speaker 1: you can't expel justice. Set the meeting, his voice rising
- 2:02Speaker 1: as he spoke, you can't expel our voices, and you
- 2:06Speaker 1: sure can't expel our fight. Pearson's expect to return to
- 2:10Speaker 1: the Capitol on Thursday when the House holds its next
- 2:13Speaker 1: floor session. Republicans also expelled Pearson and Representative Justin Jones
- 2:19Speaker 1: last week over their role in the gun control protests
- 2:22Speaker 1: on the House floor. After that Nashville school shooting that
- 2:26Speaker 1: left three children three adults dead. The Nashville Metropolitan Council
- 2:32Speaker 1: took only a few minutes on Monday this week to
- 2:34Speaker 1: unanimously restored Jones, who was one of the two kicked
- 2:37Speaker 1: out to office as well. He was quickly reinstated to
- 2:40Speaker 1: his House seat. The appointments are interim and special elections
- 2:44Speaker 1: for the seats will take place in the coming months.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Just so you understand how this is going to work.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But Jones and Pearsons have said they planned to run
- 2:51Speaker 1: in those special elections, so they're gonna win. Now Here
- 2:56Speaker 1: is the part that really makes me laugh. If you
- 3:00Speaker 1: are African American listening to me, you should be offended
- 3:04Speaker 1: by what you're about to hear. Justin Pearson is two
- 3:08Speaker 1: different people. Justin Pearson has figured out how to go
- 3:13Speaker 1: woke and how to become a Martin Luther King want
- 3:18Speaker 1: to be compared to the man he was in two
- 3:20Speaker 1: and sixteen when he was running for president of the
- 3:23Speaker 1: student body at his college. It's so embarrassing the comparing
- 3:28Speaker 1: contrasts of the two individuals that if you were if
- 3:31Speaker 1: a Republican did this, people would be saying you got
- 3:34Speaker 1: to get out of office because you're a fraud. Saturday
- 3:38Speaker 1: Night Live would be running with us, the news would
- 3:40Speaker 1: be running with us. But instead, because it's an African
- 3:42Speaker 1: American who's a Democrat. You can be whoever the hell
- 3:46Speaker 1: you want to be to get elected. I'm going to
- 3:48Speaker 1: play for you the two sixteen Justin Pearson when he
- 3:52Speaker 1: was running for president of his school, because the Martin
- 3:56Speaker 1: Luther King effect that he was going for in twenty
- 4:00Speaker 1: twenty three wouldn't have flown in twenty sixteen on campus
- 4:03Speaker 1: with the students that knew him. So instead, this is
- 4:07Speaker 1: what he sounded like. Dustin J. Pierson, and I'm running
- 4:10Speaker 1: for president of VSG. There are a few reasons that
- 4:13Speaker 1: we're running this campaign this year. One has to do
- 4:15Speaker 1: with representation. How can we represent all voices in a
- 4:19Speaker 1: conversation how. I wanted to do this by partnering with
- 4:22Speaker 1: organizations from the Boody Democrats to the boodhy Republicans. I
- 4:26Speaker 1: want to bring together different voices, dissenting voices, voices that
- 4:29Speaker 1: may be more liberal or more conservative, in order that
- 4:32Speaker 1: we can reach a point of sort of the radical middle.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Now that see Justin Pearson running for office in two
- 4:39Speaker 1: thousand and sixteen, what happened? He figured it out. I
- 4:45Speaker 1: got to change who I am. I've got to change
- 4:49Speaker 1: the way I speak. I got to change the way
- 4:51Speaker 1: I talk. I got to change the way I yell,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and if I do, I can now be the new
- 4:58Speaker 1: civil rights leader in tennis See. And that's what the
- 5:02Speaker 1: country is getting to hear. Not the two thousand and
- 5:04Speaker 1: sixteen Pearson. I mean this is this is a comedy skit,
- 5:08Speaker 1: except this is real life. And the question I ask
- 5:12Speaker 1: is which Justin Pearson is the real Justin Pearson? Is
- 5:16Speaker 1: it the two thousand and sixteen student who's running and
- 5:21Speaker 1: won successfully for president of his school, or is it
- 5:25Speaker 1: the two thousand and twenty three Pearson who sounds like
- 5:29Speaker 1: this seemed like the n RA and gun lobbyists might win.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But all that was good news for us. I don't
- 5:38Speaker 1: know how long this Saturday in the state of Tennessee
- 5:41Speaker 1: might last, but oh, we have good news, folks, We've
- 5:46Speaker 1: got good news that Sunday always comes. I want to
- 5:51Speaker 1: know how the African American community is not offended by this.
- 6:00Speaker 1: This is what an opportunist looks like and sounds like,
- 6:04Speaker 1: how can you go from the two thousand and sixteen
- 6:09Speaker 1: version to the twenty twenty three version without offending true
- 6:14Speaker 1: African American leaders, true civil rights leaders. I want to
- 6:18Speaker 1: know how African Americans aren't furious of the fact that
- 6:22Speaker 1: this guy is basically playing a role. It's like you
- 6:28Speaker 1: learned a script. Change the way he talks, change his dialect,
- 6:33Speaker 1: turned himself into something completely different than what he was
- 6:39Speaker 1: in two thousand and sixteen. Can you imagine if a
- 6:43Speaker 1: Republican who's a African American did this? Can you imagine
- 6:49Speaker 1: what they would do to him and how they would
- 6:51Speaker 1: ridicule him and attack him and expose him for talking
- 6:55Speaker 1: this way? Yet he's the new leader of the civil
- 7:00Speaker 1: rights movement. The justin of twenty sixteen very different than
- 7:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. Deep person, And I'm running for president
- 7:12Speaker 1: of the BSG. How is that guy? This guy? And
- 7:15Speaker 1: ra and god lobbyist might win? How is that guy? BSG?
- 7:21Speaker 1: There are a few reasons that we're running this campaign
- 7:23Speaker 1: this year. How is that guy? This guy? I don't
- 7:26Speaker 1: know how long? This Saturday in the state of Tennessee
- 7:30Speaker 1: my last? Are we sure that that guy is this guy?
- 7:34Speaker 1: How can we represent all voices in a conversation? How
- 7:38Speaker 1: is that guy? This guy? I just want to know,
- 7:41Speaker 1: Saturday in the State of Tennessee, my last. They're pretty
- 7:45Speaker 1: different people, aren't they? In fact, I think they're very
- 7:49Speaker 1: different people arguing with organizations from the Boody Democrats to
- 7:53Speaker 1: the boodh and Republicans. That's a guy that I can
- 7:55Speaker 1: get along with right there. He wants to get to
- 7:57Speaker 1: along with the Boden Democrats on College Amiston, the bun
- 8:00Speaker 1: Republicans on college campus. But now, good news, folks, We've
- 8:05Speaker 1: got good news that Sunday always comes. I'm just curious
- 8:11Speaker 1: which one this leader really is or is maybe he
- 8:16Speaker 1: playing maybe? Is he playing all of us? Is he
- 8:19Speaker 1: playing the media? Is he playing his constituents? Is he
- 8:24Speaker 1: an opportunist that says and understands a moment like this?
- 8:27Speaker 1: You get more press if you talk like the twenty
- 8:31Speaker 1: twenty three leader and said the twenty sixteen leader. If
- 8:34Speaker 1: I have dinner with Justin Pearson and no one else around,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I want to know which one shows up when he
- 8:44Speaker 1: leaves the floor of the State of Representatives in Tennessee.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Is he the twenty sixteen Justin Pearson's office or is
- 8:51Speaker 1: he the twenty twenty three Justin Pearson that we see
- 8:55Speaker 1: on TV? Which one is this guy representation? How can
- 9:02Speaker 1: we represent all voices in a conversation. I'm gonna guess
- 9:05Speaker 1: that's the guy you get in the office, not this guy,
- 9:07Speaker 1: all right, and god lobbyists might win, but oh that
- 9:11Speaker 1: was good news for us. You'd think somebody in the
- 9:15Speaker 1: media would actually have this conversation about is this the
- 9:19Speaker 1: real guy? Is this the real one? Do we know
- 9:21Speaker 1: who is who? Here? Is this an opportunist mocking the
- 9:25Speaker 1: civil rights leaders who have done so much for this
- 9:29Speaker 1: country and taking advantage of civil rights leaders and what
- 9:33Speaker 1: they've done in this country, the actual work, paying, suffering
- 9:38Speaker 1: and hardship that they have done. Is he mocking them?
- 9:41Speaker 1: Are just jumping on those coattails? All right? Before I
- 9:45Speaker 1: get into that, I want to talk to you real
- 9:47Speaker 1: quick about our friends over at Patriot Mobile. They are
- 9:49Speaker 1: now offering a performance guarantee. If you're not happy with
- 9:53Speaker 1: your coverage, you can switch between the three major carriers

- 10:05Speaker 1: best G four and G five networks, the same at

- 10:12Speaker 1: not only do you get the same great quality that
- 10:15Speaker 1: you're used to, but they actually are a company that
- 10:18Speaker 1: fights to preserve or God given rights and freedoms. So
- 10:22Speaker 1: this year resolved to stop spending your money with companies

- 10:39Speaker 1: to switch. Call them right now, or go online to
- 10:42Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Or call them eight seven eighth Patriot. You're gonna get
- 10:50Speaker 1: free activation with the offer code ferguson that's eight seven
- 10:54Speaker 1: eight Patriot or patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Let me
- 10:59Speaker 1: say one of the things about these democrats being reinstated
- 11:03Speaker 1: in the House of Representatives, they're going to do it again.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It may not be them, but it's going to be
- 11:08Speaker 1: others because now there's precedent for breaking decorum and standing
- 11:13Speaker 1: up against the rules and getting kicked out. It makes
- 11:17Speaker 1: you famous, right, This is what narcissists do. You do
- 11:21Speaker 1: things for your own self instead of the people you're
- 11:25Speaker 1: supposed to be representing. In fact, I would say no
- 11:28Speaker 1: one else knows this better than AOC, and AOC got
- 11:31Speaker 1: into this big fight in Tennessee, making it clear that
- 11:35Speaker 1: we all need to stand up. Here's what the media
- 11:38Speaker 1: had to say and how they're giving her a platform
- 11:41Speaker 1: to defend these insurrectionists. That's what Democrats would call them
- 11:46Speaker 1: in Tennessee. This is about the fascist takeover of our
- 11:49Speaker 1: state houses that Republicans have invested in in the last
- 11:52Speaker 1: several decades. This is about a naked abuse of power.
- 11:55Speaker 1: This is about disenfranchising. This is about disenfranchising democrats in
- 12:00Speaker 1: a state, in states where there is extreme levels of
- 12:03Speaker 1: voter suppression. And it was also about racism. It was
- 12:08Speaker 1: deeply about racism, from the comments, the absolutely disrespectful and
- 12:12Speaker 1: denigrating comments made to the black members of the Tennessee
- 12:18Speaker 1: House to the fact that they that these Republicans voted
- 12:23Speaker 1: to expel after charging three three of these members. They
- 12:27Speaker 1: expelled two blackmail legislators and they voted to a quit
- 12:31Speaker 1: in a way or they voted to not expel um.
- 12:35Speaker 1: The sole white woman representative, Gloria Johnson, who has been
- 12:39Speaker 1: a phenomenal ally raised this issue of race play. Yes,
- 12:44Speaker 1: and they have no defense. There is no defense, and
- 12:48Speaker 1: we have not heard any rational explanation for why that
- 12:53Speaker 1: is and and it's it's so important that we recognize
- 12:58Speaker 1: this for what it is and that we see is
- 13:00Speaker 1: for what it is, because if we do not, then
- 13:03Speaker 1: we will not take the proper actions to stop it.
- 13:08Speaker 1: All right, So let's just recap that if you stand
- 13:13Speaker 1: up for basic rules, if you stand up for basic
- 13:21Speaker 1: things and say you can't do this, and we've all
- 13:26Speaker 1: agreed to these rules, then you're a racist. You notice
- 13:31Speaker 1: she didn't give a single example of racist statements towards
- 13:37Speaker 1: this individual. She just generically said, well, these racist things
- 13:41Speaker 1: said to him. Not one example did she give? Not
- 13:43Speaker 1: one example did they ask for at CNN, right, because
- 13:46Speaker 1: this is what a communist news network looks like. Not
- 13:50Speaker 1: one single example. So can we just really stand back
- 13:56Speaker 1: and understand that for a second what this means, not
- 14:00Speaker 1: one example, not one because you don't need to because
- 14:06Speaker 1: the media is never going to ask you to actually
- 14:10Speaker 1: back up when you call somebody racist. If you're on
- 14:13Speaker 1: the democratic side of things, they love it when you
- 14:18Speaker 1: come on there and you say Republicans are racist. Should
- 14:23Speaker 1: this Democratic representative justin Pearson of Memphis go out, go
- 14:28Speaker 1: back to Nashville if they want to reinstate. I'm sure
- 14:31Speaker 1: and he'll probably win reelection. I have no doubt. Should
- 14:33Speaker 1: there be rules, Yeah, there should be rules. Delano Squires,
- 14:37Speaker 1: who's a research fellow, he is a family guy at
- 14:41Speaker 1: Heritage Foundation African American. He put out a tweet that
- 14:46Speaker 1: I think encompasses all of this perfectly. And he said
- 14:51Speaker 1: in his tweet, and I want to read it verbatim
- 14:54Speaker 1: for you. Check the difference in cadence and presentation between
- 14:59Speaker 1: two sixteen and now, obviously referring to the video that
- 15:03Speaker 1: I've been the audio I've been playing for you, he said.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Then not sure whose nineteen sixties inspired cosplay is faker
- 15:12Speaker 1: Cape's journey from cleancut playboy to black panther or Pearson's
- 15:18Speaker 1: transition from Bowden's student to mlk impersonator. This is a
- 15:26Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live skit. Accept it's real, and no one
- 15:35Speaker 1: in the media is calling him out for this. Make
- 15:39Speaker 1: sure you grab this audio and let it go viral,
- 15:43Speaker 1: because you'll understand just how calculated Pearson is. He was
- 15:48Speaker 1: calculated when he had the blowhorn in his hand. He
- 15:50Speaker 1: was calculated when he led with Democrats referred to as
- 15:53Speaker 1: an insurrection. He was calculated. The way he got kicked out.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He was calculated, knowing that the count of Commissioner would
- 15:59Speaker 1: reinstate him. He was calculated knowing he's going to run
- 16:01Speaker 1: in a special election and get sent back to Nashville.
- 16:04Speaker 1: He was calculated. And how he changed who he is
- 16:09Speaker 1: from two thousand and sixteen to twenty twenty three to
- 16:12Speaker 1: play the African American community which he claims to represent.
- 16:18Speaker 1: He was calculating all of it. And this is who
- 16:23Speaker 1: the media is championing today, because they love championing people
- 16:29Speaker 1: like this, even if they know they're not authentic, even
- 16:34Speaker 1: if they know they're not genuine, even if they know
- 16:38Speaker 1: this isn't actually who he was. Any reporter that had
- 16:43Speaker 1: an ounce of integrity would ask him, hey, there's a
- 16:48Speaker 1: lot of people that are noticing that you sound extremely
- 16:52Speaker 1: different from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty three, Like are
- 16:55Speaker 1: you playing this up? Like who are you? Are you
- 16:59Speaker 1: the guy from sixteen or now? Like which one are you?
- 17:03Speaker 1: We want to know? Who are you? Are you taking
- 17:10Speaker 1: advantage of civil rights air leaders and those have actually
- 17:14Speaker 1: fought hard just to play a role here, to play
- 17:18Speaker 1: a part here. Those are the questions that should be
- 17:23Speaker 1: asked those are the questions that a good and a
- 17:28Speaker 1: solid media would ask, But they're not asking because they
- 17:33Speaker 1: know the answers. Now I want to get to another Oops,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and it's another fake moment. This time it's dealing with
- 17:41Speaker 1: bud Light. Life has gotten a lot worse for the
- 17:46Speaker 1: bud Light executive after photos of her time at Harvard
- 17:51Speaker 1: are now being leaked to the public. Altsa. Gordon, the
- 17:55Speaker 1: vice president marketing at bud Light, reportedly partook in some
- 17:59Speaker 1: awfully quote fratty looking behavior that she's condemned during her
- 18:04Speaker 1: time in college, according to some newly released photos. That
- 18:08Speaker 1: is inspite of the fact that the Harvard alum wanted
- 18:11Speaker 1: to quote do away with a beer's old image, which
- 18:14Speaker 1: she called fratty as she insulted the company's past customer base.
- 18:19Speaker 1: During a recent podcast, this director of marketing the Right
- 18:25Speaker 1: Who's all about this put a dude dressed like a
- 18:28Speaker 1: chick on the can of bud Light. Told the Make
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yourself at Home podcast just two weeks ago that the
- 18:36Speaker 1: low calorie beer had been a hit at party since
- 18:39Speaker 1: the nineteen eighties and had a quote image problem. In
- 18:45Speaker 1: spite of the fact bud Light was last year's best
- 18:47Speaker 1: selling American brew Anheuser Busch's woke executive way to transition
- 18:53Speaker 1: to a new demographic transition. I love that word. The
- 18:57Speaker 1: pr executive sought to do away with budd light It's
- 19:00Speaker 1: lighthearted image in order to attract a quote different kind
- 19:04Speaker 1: of drinker. She said, you got to see people who
- 19:08Speaker 1: reflect you in the work, she told the podcast. In fact,
- 19:13Speaker 1: let me just let you hear from the woke executive
- 19:15Speaker 1: her self. Oh, I'm a businesswoman. Had a really clear
- 19:19Speaker 1: job to do when I took over a bud Light,
- 19:21Speaker 1: and it was this brand is in decline. It's been
- 19:25Speaker 1: in decline for a really long time, and if we
- 19:27Speaker 1: do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand,
- 19:31Speaker 1: there will be no future for bud Light. So I
- 19:33Speaker 1: had this super clear banding. It's like, we need to
- 19:35Speaker 1: evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand. And my what
- 19:41Speaker 1: I brought to that was a belief in Okay, what
- 19:45Speaker 1: does what does evolve and elevate mean? It means inclusivity,
- 19:49Speaker 1: It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign
- 19:53Speaker 1: that's truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different
- 19:57Speaker 1: and appeals to women and to men and representation is
- 20:01Speaker 1: it's sort of the heart of evolution. You've got to
- 20:03Speaker 1: see people who reflect you in the work. And we
- 20:06Speaker 1: had this hangover. I mean, bud Light had been kind
- 20:10Speaker 1: of a brand of fratty, kind of out of touch humor,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and it was really important that we had another approach.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It was kind of important that we had a different approach.
- 20:25Speaker 1: In other words, we're gonna give the middle finger to
- 20:28Speaker 1: everyone that's given bud Light success and we're gonna go fratty. Now,
- 20:33Speaker 1: before I get into more of this story, I want
- 20:35Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 20:36Speaker 1: friends at the Gusts of Precious Metals. You can get
- 20:39Speaker 1: free gold just by learning about gold I raise from
- 20:43Speaker 1: a Gust of Precious Metals. It's important that you know

- 21:35Speaker 1: never drink another bubb Light again as long as these
- 21:38Speaker 1: people are in charge of the company. If they correct
- 21:41Speaker 1: course and it's real and authentic, fine, but I will
- 21:45Speaker 1: never drink that beer again. And there are other products,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and there's a list of products that a lot of people,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I think don't know that Anheuser Busch owns. A lot
- 21:57Speaker 1: of people don't understand exactly what all their products are.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Because if you don't buy a bud light, that's one thing.
- 22:05Speaker 1: But if there's other products out there, then those other
- 22:09Speaker 1: products you need to know what they are, right, you
- 22:12Speaker 1: need to understand. So I'm gonna go through the list
- 22:14Speaker 1: for you because there's a lot of people don't ask, like, oh,
- 22:16Speaker 1: screw by the light, I'm gonna drink michelob Ultra guess what.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Michelob Ultra is owned by Anheuser Busch. This is the
- 22:25Speaker 1: list of beers that, in my opinion, you should be
- 22:28Speaker 1: boycotting because, as they say on their own website quote,
- 22:32Speaker 1: since the eighteen fifties, we have been proud to brew
- 22:35Speaker 1: America's most love beers. Today, our portfolio of amazing brands
- 22:40Speaker 1: continues to lead the industry by delivering what you our
- 22:43Speaker 1: customers want, from flavored extensions like bud Light Lime to
- 22:48Speaker 1: michelobe Ultra Pure Gold, the first major beer to be
- 22:52Speaker 1: USDA Organic Certified. We work tirelessly to deliver the strongest
- 22:57Speaker 1: portfolio of beer brands in the industry. Okay, so if
- 23:01Speaker 1: you're gonna bud Light band right boycott, then you need
- 23:05Speaker 1: to make sure you're not switching to another one of
- 23:07Speaker 1: their brands. So here is the list and share this, Okay. Budweiser,
- 23:13Speaker 1: bud Light, ConA Brewing Company, michelob Ultra, Stella, Bush Beer,
- 23:22Speaker 1: Natty Light or Natural Light, Land Shark Lager, Presidentay Beer,
- 23:30Speaker 1: Hoe Garden Beer, and Shock Top. They also have craft
- 23:36Speaker 1: partners Ten Barrel Brewing Company, Blue Point, Devil's Backbone, Cisco Brewers,
- 23:44Speaker 1: Golden Road Brewing, Goose Island Beer all right, Four Peaks
- 23:49Speaker 1: Brewing Company, Red Hook, Square Mile Cider, Wicked Weed Brewing
- 23:56Speaker 1: with Mere Brothers, and Beyond Beer. They have Abe Cutwater Spirits, Highball, Energy,
- 24:04Speaker 1: Neutral Is a vodka, Seltzer Real Juice, and also the
- 24:09Speaker 1: brand Rita's. These are just some of the labels that
- 24:16Speaker 1: you need to know about when and again, I get
- 24:20Speaker 1: all of this from the Anheuserbusch dot com website. It's
- 24:24Speaker 1: not just bud Light, it's all these other ones. If
- 24:28Speaker 1: they're gonna come out and play this way, then let
- 24:30Speaker 1: them play this way. That's fine with me. But nowhere
- 24:34Speaker 1: you're sending your money. And if you look at what
- 24:39Speaker 1: bud Light has done in a week, destroying a brand, Okay,
- 24:45Speaker 1: that's the only way I can put it, destroying a brand.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And you look at this um this pr executive here,
- 24:56Speaker 1: bud Light's VP of marketing, doubles down on her extreme
- 25:00Speaker 1: woke strategy to promote inclusivity and wokeness. Oh I'm a businesswoman.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I had a really clear job to do when I
- 25:08Speaker 1: took over a bud Light, and it was this brand
- 25:12Speaker 1: is in decline. It's been in decline for a really
- 25:14Speaker 1: long time. And if we do not attract young drinkers
- 25:18Speaker 1: to come and drink this brand, there will be no
- 25:20Speaker 1: future for bud Light. So I had this super clear branding.
- 25:23Speaker 1: It's like, we need to evolve and elevate this incredibly
- 25:27Speaker 1: iconic brand. And my what I brought to that was
- 25:31Speaker 1: a belief in Okay, what does what does evolve and
- 25:35Speaker 1: elevate mean? It means inclusivity, It means shifting the tone.
- 25:39Speaker 1: It means having a campaign that's truly inclusive and feels
- 25:44Speaker 1: lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and
- 25:47Speaker 1: to men. And representation is it's sort of the heart
- 25:50Speaker 1: of evolution. You've got to see people who reflect you
- 25:54Speaker 1: in the work. And we had this hangover. I mean,
- 25:57Speaker 1: bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty,
- 26:03Speaker 1: kind of out of touch humor, and it was really
- 26:07Speaker 1: important that we had another approach fratty and out of
- 26:12Speaker 1: touch humor. So what do we go to? We go
- 26:15Speaker 1: to bud Light, partnering with a dude dressed like a
- 26:18Speaker 1: chick and her telling you how excited she is about
- 26:22Speaker 1: March Madness while also insulting women. Hi impressive carrying skills, right,
- 26:28Speaker 1: I got some bud Lights for us. So I kept
- 26:32Speaker 1: hearing about this thing called March Madness, and I thought
- 26:35Speaker 1: we were all just having a hectic month. But it
- 26:37Speaker 1: turns out it has something to do with sports, and
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm not sure exactly which sport, but either way, it's
- 26:43Speaker 1: a cost to celebrate this month. I celebrated my day
- 26:48Speaker 1: three sixty five a womanhood and bud Light sent me
- 26:51Speaker 1: possibly the best gift ever, a kN with my face
- 26:55Speaker 1: on it. Check out my Instagram story to see how
- 26:57Speaker 1: you can enjoy March Madness with bud Light and maybe
- 27:00Speaker 1: win some money too. Love you, cheers, go team whatever
- 27:06Speaker 1: team you love. I love too, Okay, love yeah, okay,
- 27:12Speaker 1: break a leg. That's a dude dressed like a chick,
- 27:18Speaker 1: mocking women over not knowing what's happening with March Madness. Now.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I also remember that's not the only promotional video that
- 27:30Speaker 1: bud Light did with this dude during March Madness. There
- 27:33Speaker 1: was a part two. Wear this dude dressed like a chick,
- 27:37Speaker 1: wearing makeup and in a bathtub a bubble bath, wearing
- 27:41Speaker 1: some sort of lingerie slash bikini. Said this the estimated
- 27:48Speaker 1: call Tom lost siss. This dude's now dancing in the
- 28:05Speaker 1: bathtub on hole with the whole music. Now she's shaking
- 28:12Speaker 1: and dancing and blowing bubbles at the cameras while drinking
- 28:15Speaker 1: bug light. Now she's throwing her legs are actually he
- 28:22Speaker 1: is throwing his legs up in the air, wearing a
- 28:26Speaker 1: but Kenny top drinking a bug light. Sorry, are you
- 28:35Speaker 1: still there? Yes? Okay, Please hold back to dancing in
- 28:41Speaker 1: an erotic way drinking bug light. That's the entire ad. Now,
- 28:47Speaker 1: if you want to buy beer from a company that
- 28:49Speaker 1: markets to you that way, go for it. You want
- 28:53Speaker 1: to buy beer from a woke company and all their brands,
- 28:56Speaker 1: that's your decision. I will not drink another beer from
- 29:03Speaker 1: people that treat my traditional values this way. I will
- 29:08Speaker 1: not do it. There's no way in hell I'm going
- 29:11Speaker 1: to give them my money. So go look at their
- 29:14Speaker 1: brands again. Go online. Remind your friends don't just switch
- 29:19Speaker 1: from bud Light. You can't drink Budweiser, bud Light, ConA Brewing,
- 29:22Speaker 1: michelob Ultra, Stella, Bush, Natty Light, Land Shark, President Presidential
- 29:28Speaker 1: shot top top. There's and these are just some of them.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Rita's neutrals. Whatever the hell you want to cut cutwater spirits, babe,
- 29:38Speaker 1: all of these brands will make them more money. And
- 29:41Speaker 1: if you're a fratty person with bad humor, bud Light
- 29:46Speaker 1: doesn't want you. Listen to their head of marketing when
- 29:49Speaker 1: she said this, okay, take them at their word. They
- 29:52Speaker 1: don't want you. If you consider yourself to be someone
- 29:56Speaker 1: that likes to tell jokes and was in a for
- 29:59Speaker 1: term unity or went to a southern college, screw you.
- 30:03Speaker 1: By the way, the best part is the pictures that
- 30:05Speaker 1: have come out of her in college show her doing
- 30:08Speaker 1: exactly that. You can't make it up.
