- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all

- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like amazing bus things and it's not me
- 0:20Speaker 1: true good Steve to mother, stay, don't join Jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn hur you got to turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out? Got the turnout? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water y'all come come on your thing, huh. I
- 2:03Speaker 1: show will a good morning everybody. You'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do. Took on me
- 2:14Speaker 1: what I said. But I do like I say always.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It just is a constant reminder of how good God
- 2:21Speaker 1: has been. So my question to you is what's stopping
- 2:25Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? What's stopping
- 2:29Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? I know
- 2:34Speaker 1: a lot of people who have given up on achieving
- 2:38Speaker 1: the life of their dreams, but I know they'd still
- 2:42Speaker 1: want them if they could get to them. But they
- 2:45Speaker 1: just allowed to settle for so many reasons. So who
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'm talking to is you today? What's really at the
- 2:54Speaker 1: core of stopping you? What is that? Is it your
- 2:58Speaker 1: friends or your associates. Is it the fear of what
- 3:02Speaker 1: you think somebody else will think of you if you
- 3:05Speaker 1: decide to change. Is it what I used to call
- 3:08Speaker 1: the call of the while? Is it the fact that
- 3:11Speaker 1: you keep thinking that the thing that you're doing that's
- 3:14Speaker 1: providing you these momentary moments of pleasure that really ain't
- 3:19Speaker 1: really good or healthy for you. You don't want to
- 3:22Speaker 1: stop doing that because you've got just a little bit
- 3:25Speaker 1: more something else you want to do. I call that
- 3:27Speaker 1: the call at a while. You know, it's just out there.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Them streets is calling you, Them lights is calling you.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, them girls is calling you. Them guys that's
- 3:35Speaker 1: on the wrong side keep calling you. You can't seem
- 3:39Speaker 1: to make a decision by the right guy. You keep
- 3:41Speaker 1: picking the wrong guy all the time. What is it
- 3:44Speaker 1: that's stopping you from having the life that you really
- 3:47Speaker 1: want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing, that's
- 3:51Speaker 1: the reason that's stopping you from having the life that
- 3:54Speaker 1: you want to have, it's no good because at the
- 3:58Speaker 1: end of the date, here's the real deal. See, God
- 4:01Speaker 1: is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us. And
- 4:07Speaker 1: God wants to vary best for all of us. That's
- 4:10Speaker 1: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 4:13Speaker 1: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 4:23Speaker 1: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 4:27Speaker 1: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 4:30Speaker 1: wide range of reasons. And misery love company. So usually
- 4:34Speaker 1: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 4:37Speaker 1: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 4:41Speaker 1: going to church. You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 4:44Speaker 1: really want you to go to church. You know, your
- 4:46Speaker 1: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 4:50Speaker 1: as a solution to you. You know, your friends don't
- 4:54Speaker 1: really really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 4:59Speaker 1: people would treat you better. So what's that? So your
- 5:02Speaker 1: friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: to peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 5:09Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 5:11Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 5:14Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 5:19Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 5:23Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 5:25Speaker 1: went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 5:31Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would have had I
- 5:33Speaker 1: listened to the people around me who clearly told me
- 5:37Speaker 1: when I quit my job to pursue this. Boy, don't
- 5:40Speaker 1: you quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't
- 5:43Speaker 1: you do this. You ain't got no bit dad, ain't
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job, Go
- 5:48Speaker 1: down here and get your brothers, go to work over here.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I heard all of that. I didn't let that stop
- 5:55Speaker 1: me from pursuing this. Why would you allow that to
- 5:58Speaker 1: stop you from pursuing your relationship with God so you
- 6:01Speaker 1: can have the best life you could possibly have. You
- 6:04Speaker 1: gang bang because they've convinced you that this is the
- 6:07Speaker 1: family situation and love that you don't have, and they've
- 6:11Speaker 1: convinced you that this is your only way, your only
- 6:15Speaker 1: source of getting over And then you drum up these
- 6:19Speaker 1: ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they sound
- 6:23Speaker 1: so good when you're listening to everybody else you're surrounded
- 6:27Speaker 1: by telling you why we gang banging while we're holding
- 6:30Speaker 1: this blockdown? Why we slanging this thing here right here?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right, you already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wild, that
- 6:48Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:51Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept a way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further they progress. To even prove that you worthy
- 6:57Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of crime to even prove that you're worthy to be
- 7:02Speaker 1: around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:05Speaker 1: what happens to that where your family had? Now they
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't come down there to see you because guess what,
- 7:11Speaker 1: they can't turn an idea to death at a law
- 7:14Speaker 1: enforcements center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 7:20Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Then you learn that what is it to stopping you
- 7:26Speaker 1: from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 7:29Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 7:33Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:42Speaker 1: God a try. Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 7:46Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:00Speaker 1: silly little friends try to make you think that's a
- 8:03Speaker 1: badge of honor. Therein't no badge of honor. Man, that's
- 8:06Speaker 1: one mode. What's one more scratch on that record, That's
- 8:09Speaker 1: one mold, That's one more nail in that coffin. That's
- 8:13Speaker 1: one step closer to that third strike where you ain't
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to that graveyard.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You keep on. Why would you not give God a try?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Why would you not go and see what your life
- 8:26Speaker 1: could really be? What is it that's stopping you? Because see,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I got news for you. There's nothing like waking up free.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. There's nothing like waking
- 8:37Speaker 1: up with the joy in your heart. Now, if you
- 8:40Speaker 1: ain't gonna be free, get the joy in your heart,
- 8:43Speaker 1: the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something with your life,
- 8:47Speaker 1: help somebody behind them, bars, get in the program, show
- 8:50Speaker 1: these young cats when they come in a better way.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But don't you dare sit there man and just ride
- 8:56Speaker 1: it out, and man, just go and get the full
- 9:00Speaker 1: It's life that you can have. What you know what
- 9:03Speaker 1: it feels like to wake up and be on your
- 9:05Speaker 1: way somewhere knowing that you have something to accomplish, that
- 9:08Speaker 1: you can change somebody, that you can stop somebody from
- 9:11Speaker 1: going down the roads you went down. It's a whole
- 9:14Speaker 1: lot of ways to make your life better. But why
- 9:16Speaker 1: would you not go and have the best life you
- 9:18Speaker 1: can have? What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really?
- 9:23Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 9:26Speaker 1: at heart. That Dela thing your mama kept telling you
- 9:29Speaker 1: about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around, It ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together, it ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God, and it ain't ever
- 9:43Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 9:47Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 9:50Speaker 1: Because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. I'm a
- 9:55Speaker 1: witness to that. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

- 25:56Speaker 1: weed instead of a cigarette. You got to go. I'll
- 26:04Speaker 1: tell you. I'll tell you what if every time I'm
- 26:06Speaker 1: sitting alone with you and you say you hear that, Hey, hey,

- 26:28Speaker 1: and you come back at the kitchen and you eat

- 27:26Speaker 1: You and your dog ain't scaring nobody. Cut out these
- 27:30Speaker 1: hard poses out. Ain't nobody scarking your dog leading you.
- 27:41Speaker 1: If you stand in you litally your room and you're
- 27:45Speaker 1: looking at a light bub and you say the sun
- 27:47Speaker 1: is bright today, it's time. All right, thank you guys,
- 27:59Speaker 1: that was good time. I'm to put it down. You're
- 28:01Speaker 1: listening to all right, Steve, you are the resident relationship
- 28:09Speaker 1: expert on the show, no question, uh. And you know
- 28:13Speaker 1: there are some folks involved in a friends with benefits situation.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You know a lot of people you know in those
- 28:19Speaker 1: kind of relationships. But there are boundaries, of course, as
- 28:23Speaker 1: in any relationship, you should still be honest and not
- 28:26Speaker 1: take the situation for granted, though a few mishaps could
- 28:29Speaker 1: land you back in the friendship zone with a quickness,
- 28:32Speaker 1: of course, And even if the arrangement is super casual,
- 28:36Speaker 1: then Tommy becomes the expert. You know, Yeah, yeah, keeper
- 28:44Speaker 1: can so here we go, all right, So if someone
- 28:48Speaker 1: is lying or not being honest about their intentions. Well,
- 28:51Speaker 1: you know it's bad news for you because you know, look,
- 28:56Speaker 1: eventually all everything comes to light, you might as well
- 29:00Speaker 1: if you're just gonna be friends, benefits just being honest. Okay,
- 29:05Speaker 1: that's the money. Here's the money. Let me hit this.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I'm going I'm look yet, I don't love you, Oh
- 29:12Speaker 1: my gosh. I'm just being real about what we're doing
- 29:16Speaker 1: and what we're doing. We're both cool with that. I'm
- 29:19Speaker 1: honest by my intentions. We gonna do this until we
- 29:23Speaker 1: don't want to do this no more. This ain't aboudy
- 29:25Speaker 1: no love. Matter of fact, we're doing it from We
- 29:28Speaker 1: can't even make eye contact because this ain't love at all.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Don't don't gaze at me, but look at me. Don't
- 29:35Speaker 1: look at me, or you look back at me. Don't
- 29:37Speaker 1: look back at me when we're in the moment beforeward,
- 29:40Speaker 1: don't look back. Don't look back. That's that's in the
- 29:43Speaker 1: moment you love. Don't do that. That's just being Yeah,
- 29:48Speaker 1: that's brutally acting jealous, not allowed good. Uh. You know
- 29:57Speaker 1: it's a little tough man when you have have an
- 30:00Speaker 1: arrangement and you know it's just friends. For benefits because
- 30:03Speaker 1: the other person could have somebody, and so being jealous
- 30:07Speaker 1: is just so you post being able to play a
- 30:10Speaker 1: little bit better. Wait your turn. It ain't your turn.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Wait your turn. I show up with my wife. What
- 30:18Speaker 1: is your lip out? That is wrong with you today? Why?
- 30:29Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? And why is you texting me?
- 30:34Speaker 1: You'll see I'm over here. I talked about this. If
- 30:39Speaker 1: you walk past me and my wife one more day,
- 30:43Speaker 1: you gotta get your lip back here paid for what
- 30:48Speaker 1: you got your mom? This boy here? Why? Okay, here's
- 30:57Speaker 1: another one. Guys, assuming yes is for ever instead of
- 31:01Speaker 1: yes for now, play your position. Well. You know, if
- 31:07Speaker 1: if you've agreed to be with somebody for a period
- 31:10Speaker 1: of time and you know that's all it is, and
- 31:13Speaker 1: that's all it is, you really can't expect no more
- 31:15Speaker 1: than that. Nobody always catch feelings and mess every damn
- 31:19Speaker 1: bang up. Oh my god, you know, goodness, Dawn, this
- 31:25Speaker 1: for six months. You know that, you know we're not

- 31:43Speaker 1: be looking for us to break bread hair ticket down.
- 31:45Speaker 1: We're been doing that. Christmas is December twenty six. Now
- 31:49Speaker 1: to deal with it, deal with it, don't okay? Okay?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Moving on? Uh no, dissing aloud, disappearing acts without explaining
- 32:16Speaker 1: what's happening, Okay, I can't do it. Well, you know,
- 32:21Speaker 1: um it's kind of touchy because you know, at the
- 32:24Speaker 1: end of the day, you know, if you say you're
- 32:28Speaker 1: gonna be here, no, you should be here. It's an
- 32:31Speaker 1: agreement and arrangement that we have, true, Yeah, because if
- 32:34Speaker 1: I don't know where you at, you might be outside
- 32:36Speaker 1: my damn house and that could get ugly when on
- 32:43Speaker 1: vacation with my damn what is you? What? What? What?
- 32:50Speaker 1: And no, you don't get a vacation. I can't go
- 32:55Speaker 1: nowhere with you. Yes, those are pictures we took. I
- 33:00Speaker 1: don't want to hear about the disappear Why did I
- 33:02Speaker 1: leave while you was in the shower because she would
- 33:04Speaker 1: calling me. I got to go sitting wait on you
- 33:09Speaker 1: to get out. We thow with what we was doing.

- 33:22Speaker 1: help man we hit the help. Why I can't get
- 33:27Speaker 1: a vacation if she get one? I got facebooks somewhere
- 33:35Speaker 1: as we fissed the girl, And why do I have
- 33:37Speaker 1: to keep having this same damn conversation. You're gonna miss
- 33:42Speaker 1: ground be out disagreement, that's what being you goss around.
- 33:48Speaker 1: We had disagree then, Okay, when we when we said,
- 33:52Speaker 1: you know we're friends with benefits, you knew I had kids,
- 33:54Speaker 1: and you said, you know you would sometimes take them
- 33:57Speaker 1: out occasionally. You know you would be nice to my children.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Now you know your friends were benefits and you did
- 34:05Speaker 1: say you's gonna take kids out. They kids, you know
- 34:08Speaker 1: they have things they go forward to. You got an
- 34:10Speaker 1: out of your obligation at least get them to the park.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Uh huh, gim me your damn you see my profile
- 34:18Speaker 1: on Facebook man with kids, your kids men see you
- 34:24Speaker 1: also where their kids need to match up up and

- 35:29Speaker 1: the high difference was never a big deal to her.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We got divorced, and I'm not having much luck dating.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I prefer tall women, and it's a good thing I
- 35:40Speaker 1: have thick skin, because a lot of tall women have
- 35:42Speaker 1: laughed in my face and called me shorty. I even
- 35:45Speaker 1: tried dating a lady that's five three, and she even
- 35:48Speaker 1: said I'm shorter than the guys she typically dating. What's
- 35:51Speaker 1: a man to do? Little man? Look at him? Name
- 35:57Speaker 1: what Loui? Joe? Lou Man? You know, well, I'm being resort,
- 36:03Speaker 1: little man. He called himself little Joe. At least I'm
- 36:05Speaker 1: calling him a man. I ain't say a little boy.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I'm being okay, cool lord Joe. Look at him. The
- 36:12Speaker 1: fact that you prefer taller women. That's fine. You have

- 36:19Speaker 1: taller women that prefer short of men, well see, And
- 36:25Speaker 1: you know, just based on Thoma's response, I'm thinking you're
- 36:27Speaker 1: gonna have to up yourself esteem. Lord Joe, you're gonna
- 36:30Speaker 1: have to pull yourself up and just keep your head
- 36:33Speaker 1: up and don't let nobody belittle you, you know, so
- 36:37Speaker 1: to speak, don't let nobody talk down to you. You know,
- 36:42Speaker 1: stop people, stop letting people walk over you. This is
- 36:45Speaker 1: not help. You don't not help. Well, we married a
- 36:48Speaker 1: tall woman. There's another tall woman out there that'll have him.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I'm sure, I'm pretty sure it is. Yeah, all right.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Ronita and Marietta, Georgia says, I have four girlfriends and
- 36:57Speaker 1: we went on a girl's weekend in the North Georgia
- 37:00Speaker 1: last week to do an intervention on a girlfriend that's
- 37:03Speaker 1: engaged to a controlling man. We rented an airbnb and
- 37:08Speaker 1: had some wine before we tried talking to her about
- 37:11Speaker 1: her man. She was very defensive, so we let it
- 37:14Speaker 1: go and went to bed. Around two am, her fiance
- 37:17Speaker 1: popped up at our place. He said he couldn't sleep
- 37:21Speaker 1: without her so he drove over an hour and a
- 37:24Speaker 1: half to pick her up. She thought it was sweet.
- 37:27Speaker 1: We told her it was very creepy. She's not getting it,
- 37:31Speaker 1: so should we stay out of it? Wow, that's a mess.
- 37:35Speaker 1: What the old people say. I can't get sick and
- 37:37Speaker 1: tired for you. Right, that's it. But if you think
- 37:41Speaker 1: and this is cute and you fit to marry him,
- 37:44Speaker 1: this cute gonna way off after a while because I
- 37:47Speaker 1: don't care how much you love a person. You need space. Yeah,
- 37:50Speaker 1: you need the ability to breathe and do you and
- 37:52Speaker 1: be you. And if he's that controlling and that overbearing,
- 37:56Speaker 1: and it's gonna get old and then probably got old now.
- 37:59Speaker 1: But you thinking he's cute, Oh he won't be so bad. Okay,

- 38:15Speaker 1: up quickly, comedy Rouletts. Each week, you guys test our
- 38:18Speaker 1: ability to be comedians. We're gonna show you how good
- 38:20Speaker 1: we are. You give us a subject, stop the wheel
- 38:23Speaker 1: on any subject. We can do a riff on it.
- 38:25Speaker 1: That's how good we are. All right, kat, you're ready
- 38:27Speaker 1: with the wheel, let's go. These are the subjects. Number
- 38:30Speaker 1: one ice cream okay? Number two, old music, Oh, come on,
- 38:37Speaker 1: come on, yeah, I know all right. Number three, How
- 38:41Speaker 1: to protect the food in the fridge. That's a pretty
- 38:44Speaker 1: good one. Number four, I'm not the bank that yeah, okay.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Number five, Sometimes I feel like slapping the mess out
- 38:55Speaker 1: of two. Yeah, all right, come on, come on, slopping, slopping, slipping,
- 39:08Speaker 1: slipping a mess out of you? Okay. How to protect
- 39:14Speaker 1: the food in the fridge so people don't steal it? Easy?
- 39:20Speaker 1: What's one is you pick your teeth to they start bleeding, right,
- 39:23Speaker 1: and then you bite your sandwich and wrap that in
- 39:26Speaker 1: sell things and shove that back in there. I'll be
- 39:30Speaker 1: damn anybody pick your teeth real good? Did it not?
- 39:37Speaker 1: Did they believing right? And didn't bite your sandwich? Wrap
- 39:43Speaker 1: that sell thing? But don't be there when you get okay,
- 39:48Speaker 1: go ahead, come on, junior. What's you got her? First
- 39:51Speaker 1: of all? Who fridge we talk about? It ain't nothing mad.
- 39:57Speaker 1: It's very easy to take. My friend, I ain't got
- 40:00Speaker 1: that in there. Better subject would have been how to
- 40:02Speaker 1: put food into free when you really want to protect something? Uh,
- 40:11Speaker 1: what I would do. Get a ziplock, bade okay, all right,
- 40:16Speaker 1: and right, let's see where we had win win seventeen.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Put one one seventeen on that January first seventeen, and
- 40:26Speaker 1: then get one and then right chitlings on the ziplock.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Don't throw away put that. I promise you ain't nobody bothers. Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 1: And the best way to protect sandwich work is to
- 40:44Speaker 1: put it in and sell a frame and then duct
- 40:47Speaker 1: taper so they don't even know what it is. Take
- 40:53Speaker 1: the whole sandwich. How you gonna come back in? Look
- 41:03Speaker 1: just a brick or duct tap. There ain't nobody gonna
- 41:06Speaker 1: open up that damn du tuck tape culs with everything,
- 41:09Speaker 1: but not food. Yeah, protect yeah, put it in. How
- 41:17Speaker 1: to protect the food in the fridge chain. Oh, the
- 41:19Speaker 1: best way to do it is you can put it
- 41:21Speaker 1: way inside. You put it inside future you smash it up.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You take your sandwich and you bawl it up real tight,
- 41:28Speaker 1: just as small as you can make it, and put
- 41:30Speaker 1: it and wrap it in cellar and then stick that
- 41:33Speaker 1: inside the bacon, sold the box. Put it inside the bacon,
- 41:38Speaker 1: sandwich up the sandwich. That's what I'm talking about. But
- 41:43Speaker 1: it will be that when you get tech that again.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I tell you what we're really do it. Go buy
- 41:54Speaker 1: the dog shelter. Get an unhappy pit bull him in
- 41:58Speaker 1: the break when they opened that door on the inside.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Just turn the temperature down just a little bit so
- 42:14Speaker 1: he can survive. He's in the fridge. Put the right
- 42:20Speaker 1: in the brake. They've been walking in there gracefully because
- 42:22Speaker 1: they've been eating your stuff every day. This don't halt
- 42:25Speaker 1: that walk you okay, Junior. Still, I got to put
- 42:29Speaker 1: it back this one because I've done this one before.
- 42:32Speaker 1: My dog name is Chopper. I put it in a
- 42:34Speaker 1: zip lock bag and put Choppers sweet treats on them.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Put it backside on me because my son Jordan and
- 42:43Speaker 1: put some up choppers sweet treats in there and got
- 42:46Speaker 1: out all confusing. I got one right. Put your whole
- 42:54Speaker 1: lunch in a pample. Well back. You're listening to Steve

- 51:33Speaker 1: It is the straw Berry Letter. All right, guys, get ready,
- 51:37Speaker 1: guys on this show, subject and Unattractive Man's plea for Help.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am writing you for advice since
- 51:49Speaker 1: I have heard you guys talk about this on your
- 51:51Speaker 1: show before. I'm in my mid thirties, and I'm an
- 51:55Speaker 1: educated man with a great job, and I'm financially secure.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I was in a ten year relationship that ended a
- 52:01Speaker 1: few years ago, and since that breakup, I have had
- 52:05Speaker 1: problems meeting women. I have been ignored by women when
- 52:08Speaker 1: I try to speak to them or strike up a conversation.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I had considered many possibilities as to why women avoid me,
- 52:16Speaker 1: and I've come to this conclusion it's because I am
- 52:20Speaker 1: an unattractive man, and I have realized that my facial
- 52:24Speaker 1: features aren't the cutest all right. I wanted to put
- 52:38Speaker 1: my theory to the test, so I tried online dating.
- 52:42Speaker 1: But instead of putting my picture on the site my
- 52:44Speaker 1: picture on the site, I chose a picture of another
- 52:46Speaker 1: brother that I thought would be handsome to women. A
- 52:49Speaker 1: lot of women responded to my profile, and I ended
- 52:52Speaker 1: up choosing four of the baddest ones to ask out
- 52:55Speaker 1: on a date. I decided that I would reveal my
- 52:58Speaker 1: true identity to each one of these ladies the day
- 53:01Speaker 1: before our date, so there would be no public surprises.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I send each lady a selfie of me. The first
- 53:09Speaker 1: lady got very upset and threatened to have her male
- 53:12Speaker 1: friends jump me if I ever contact her again. The
- 53:16Speaker 1: other three ladies never responded to my text. One of
- 53:20Speaker 1: them even blocked my number. I know that lying was unethical,
- 53:25Speaker 1: but I needed to see if they liked me for
- 53:27Speaker 1: me and not how I look. My ex girlfriend never
- 53:31Speaker 1: complained about my looks, so why are these women so shallow?
- 53:34Speaker 1: I have deleted my dating profile and I'm giving it
- 53:37Speaker 1: a rest for a while. I still have hope that
- 53:40Speaker 1: there's a woman that will see me face to face
- 53:43Speaker 1: and be interested in me. I've even considered plastic surgery.
- 53:48Speaker 1: How should I do? Come on, let me finish? How
- 53:55Speaker 1: should I deal with it? Got any advice? Please help? Yeah? Wow? Okay,
- 54:01Speaker 1: Well listen, um, there's definitely nothing wrong with wanting to
- 54:06Speaker 1: improve your looks with plastic surgery if it'll make you
- 54:08Speaker 1: feel and look better. Uh. We really, though, have to
- 54:12Speaker 1: see for ourselves what you look like in order to
- 54:15Speaker 1: make a real assessment on this letter. Didn't You didn't
- 54:19Speaker 1: tell us why you broke up with your girlfriend of
- 54:21Speaker 1: ten years. You didn't tell us any of that. And
- 54:23Speaker 1: I gotta tell you that women will often date a
- 54:26Speaker 1: man who isn't attractive if he's a gentleman, if he's nice,
- 54:30Speaker 1: if he if he's financially secure, if he treats her beautifully.
- 54:34Speaker 1: One thing, though, if you're unattractive or any man period,
- 54:38Speaker 1: you have to be clean. You have to be well groomed.
- 54:41Speaker 1: You have to have good hygiene, you have to be
- 54:44Speaker 1: smelling good, you're breast feed you have to have all
- 54:47Speaker 1: of this. Okay, you do. I'm telling you from a
- 54:52Speaker 1: from a woman's perspective. It's not always about the looks,
- 54:56Speaker 1: all right, but it sounds like it sounds like you're
- 55:02Speaker 1: I mean, you said it yourself. You're not the most
- 55:04Speaker 1: attractive man, so so work on your other features. I
- 55:08Speaker 1: would tell you work on your other features. Steve, first
- 55:12Speaker 1: of all, quits saying features, because that's that's a trigger
- 55:16Speaker 1: for you. That's the damn problem. I was told by
- 55:20Speaker 1: this girl in ninth grade why she wasn't going to
- 55:23Speaker 1: the junior problem with me. She said, because I don't
- 55:25Speaker 1: like your facial features. So you call into the right place.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I'm assuming this is what you've heard on. This should
- 55:33Speaker 1: come on the fact that I've tried to tell Timmy
- 55:35Speaker 1: that he's ugly for years and going on death is
- 55:38Speaker 1: it's okay time I'm just gonna use it this once.
- 55:41Speaker 1: This ain't about you, then I'm gonna use myself as
- 55:44Speaker 1: an example, because I have never been an attractive man.
- 55:47Speaker 1: So let's just go from that standpoint. But you need
- 55:50Speaker 1: specialized help because you're in your thirties and you're an
- 55:58Speaker 1: educated man with a great job. You're secure, you was
- 56:02Speaker 1: in a ten year relationship. You're financially secure. You was
- 56:07Speaker 1: in a ten year relationship that ended a few years ago.
- 56:09Speaker 1: And since that breakup, out of hand problem, I've been
- 56:13Speaker 1: ignored by women. I try to speak to them a
- 56:14Speaker 1: stripe from conversation. I've considered many possibilities. That's why women
- 56:18Speaker 1: avoid me. Have come to the conclusion it's because I
- 56:22Speaker 1: am an unattractive man and have realized that my facial
- 56:26Speaker 1: features aren't the cutest. Here's a word you had to
- 56:30Speaker 1: stop using. Cute. Cute is for babies. Now listen to me, sir,
- 56:38Speaker 1: We're gonna have to address this with a little bit
- 56:40Speaker 1: of honesty. You say it's because I'm unattracted and I
- 56:44Speaker 1: have realized that my facial features ain't the cutest. This
- 56:48Speaker 1: is where we need to have a man to man talk.
- 56:52Speaker 1: You don't couldn't hear where you've heard this before? You
- 56:55Speaker 1: quit googling and all this here this you dog, you
- 56:58Speaker 1: heard this before? About time? See when you're in your
- 57:02Speaker 1: thirties and you ugly this ain't your first time heard it.
- 57:06Speaker 1: The first time you hear is at the school with
- 57:09Speaker 1: little kids. Damn yeah, man, you busted. You look like.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Ain't no telling what they and said you look like.
- 57:19Speaker 1: So you decided to put your little theory to the test.
- 57:22Speaker 1: So you went online, Dayton, but instead of putting your
- 57:25Speaker 1: the real picture of you got a picture of another
- 57:29Speaker 1: brother that I thought was to be handsome to women.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Whole lot of women responded to my profile, and I
- 57:38Speaker 1: ended up choosing foe of the baddest ones to ask
- 57:41Speaker 1: out on the day. But then you decided that you
- 57:44Speaker 1: reveal your true identity each one of these ladies the
- 57:48Speaker 1: day before the day. So what no public surprises because
- 57:52Speaker 1: you've publicly surprised a couple of people before. What do
- 57:56Speaker 1: you mean to say? Hey baby? All right? Part new
- 58:00Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up in twenty three after the
- 58:03Speaker 1: hour you're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry
- 58:10Speaker 1: letter h with part two of your thirty year old
- 58:13Speaker 1: man broke up with his ten year relationship that ended
- 58:17Speaker 1: a few years ago, and since that break up, he'd
- 58:20Speaker 1: have had problems meeting women. Uh you know, walk up
- 58:24Speaker 1: to him, to ignore him, to speak to him, strike
- 58:26Speaker 1: up a conversation. And he don't understand why he's considered
- 58:29Speaker 1: a lot of possibilities, why women avoid him, And he's
- 58:32Speaker 1: come to this conclusion, y'all. He says, it's because I'm
- 58:35Speaker 1: an unattractive man, and I realized that my facial features
- 58:39Speaker 1: aren't the cutest. We have told him quit using terms
- 58:43Speaker 1: like cute, because baby's just cute. I gotta ask you something.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Go ahead and ask me right now. Why didn't he
- 58:49Speaker 1: use the word ugly? He just uses unattractive in words
- 58:52Speaker 1: like cute. Well, he don't want to hurt his own
- 58:53Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, So now I'm about to tell him
- 58:56Speaker 1: he hugly okay, because he listened to the show. All right,
- 59:03Speaker 1: you unattracted? Don't you? Ain't the first one? I ain't.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I ain't attracted me, He ain't Jay, I ain't attracted.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Here we go and this turtle he's showing it each other. Look,
- 59:15Speaker 1: look I'm cute, I'm sexy, I'm trying cricket. Look at somebody.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I'm not doing that with y'all be doing a big
- 59:21Speaker 1: light of commercial anyway. So he decided to test his theory,
- 59:28Speaker 1: so he did a dating profile. He put a different
- 59:30Speaker 1: brother pictureall lot of women responded. He decided to pick
- 59:34Speaker 1: the foe badges now to avoid um any public surprises,
- 59:41Speaker 1: which he has had many of in his life. And
- 59:44Speaker 1: you know how that gow? Hey baby, how you doing?
- 59:51Speaker 1: That's ugly? Excuse me? Can I can I step in
- 59:55Speaker 1: front of you? This when he first heard it, This
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: is when he first heard it, trick or treat. That's
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: when he first heard it. But he just thought it
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: was his costume. But he didn't realize his maskket fell
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: off in the drive. He was standing there with his
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: box and his maskket fell off in the drive with
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a little rubber band pop, and he didn't know it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: So this ain't So he's had a lot of public surprises,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: so he didn't figured. In order, before I do this,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: let me send him a selfie of myself. Now the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: danger would take him selfish, Bros. Most dudes don't know
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: how to take selfish. I know I don't. When I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: hold that camera up, man, I look so strange looking.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: You know, I take a self and I look like terrier.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I'm just all head in this damn camera's scary shoulders
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: look real narrow. Yeah, so I'm telling you that this
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: wasn't a good idea, but you sent. The ladies are selfish.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Each lady a selfish. The first lady got upset and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: threatened to have her male friends jump on me if
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I ever counted to her again. See so she a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: bad chick. She used to this, so she got a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: squad of people that would people for doing stuff like this.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: What scared of the most was how you look in
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the selfie. See she thought you was a bank robber
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: because she thought you had on the scheme mask. She
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: didn't know that was just you. The other three ladies
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: never responded to my text. They said you got one,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: didn'tn't even block my number. I know that line was unethical,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: but I needed to see if they liked me for
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: me or how I look. Boy. They liked how you look.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: There's nothing on the dating profile said how you look.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: The rest you fine, you educated, you got all that,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: but they wanted to pitch you. Now, this is what
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: we're getting down to the hard partner letter, My ex
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: girlfriend never complained about my looks. Here we go. This
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the part of the letter that's gonna hurt the mom.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Who is your girl? What she looked like? Oh my god?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: More ugly? How she stayed with you for ten years?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I ain't saying nothing, man, we need to talk about
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: this now. Ten years she stayed with you. Ain't saying nothing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: She ain't never mentioned it to you. You ain't never
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: wonder why she ain't saying nothing in ten years? Hey baby? All?
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Could it have gone like this? Hey baby? Then she snatural? Baby?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Y'all just scaring each other. Maybe, dog, she needed you
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: as much as bad as you needed help. You're probably
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: gonna need to go back the hood and find out,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you know, if she'll have you back. I don't. I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: don't see this going nowhere. Sir Shirley said, you gotta
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: get real clean. You gotta get a lot of swag,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you gotta dress real shop, you gotta get a real
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: stylus coming there. I don't know if you're in the
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: gym and you're in real good shape, but you probably
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: need to get in that gym with them two Africas
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: that jumped on justice money three thousand dollars. I think
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: they can't get you in shape. We gotta get your
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: own program, man, get your body right. Tighten up though.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Now I've considered plastic surgery. That here's another tail tail line. Wow,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: First of all, your girlfriend stayed with your ten years?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: How unless unless she knew, unless she knew this was
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it for her? That she did it ten years. Then
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: she decided I can't play the rain the game. Now,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you said, sir, I've even considered plastic surgery. You didn't
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: say a nose job, but nothing you're really thinking about
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: getting your whole shot took its old faith. Yeah, try
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: this website we ugly too dot com. I like that.

- 1:04:30Speaker 1: What part of your job keeps you young? Or what
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: job would you want to keep you young? I can
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: tell you definitely what keeps me you? You fellas well
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: start first? Oh, go ahead, go ahead, here all my jobs, man,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I love all my job laughing. Yeah, all the laughing
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I get to do all day long, man telling Joe's laughing.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: That's what keep me young. Good answer answer, stupidity, being
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: able to just be stupid, just just you know, just
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: letting it go. Oh, yes, you're strong with that. You're
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: strong with that because you you would think you would
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: want to mature. But I don't want that. Don't be silly, Carlo.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I want this stupid right here. I want when you
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: got it? You got all of that, anybody, that's all
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you boo? All right, Steve? What keeps you fine off
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and ignorance or fine off and ignorance. When I first
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: met you used to say that I love it. I
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: let it out. I don't have high blood pressure, I
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: don't have stress, do all that. I ain't had no
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: ulcers and all that. Oh we cussing, okay, cool. I
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: agree with Junior though, the laughter of it all, I mean,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: laughter is it? Yeah? You know? But I mean, you know,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: we gotta give different answers, Shirley. We can't all say
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: laughter so make us think that Junior is the most
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: brilliant three of us. That's not what well with that question.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I know he tried. I saw him because he didn't
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: have that answer. First day he won, he won that round.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Junior won that round. Steve, Okay, we had it round.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: That keeps we'll keep you yeah. Yeah, and he is
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: the king of that the ladies. Yeah. I mean, like
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I said, I agree with you. Laughter, playing music, just
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: keeping up with what's going on. That keeps you young. Yeah,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: being able to being able to wear whatever you want
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to wear to work and stuff. It's cool. You know
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: you could dress anywhere you want to dress. Fly. You
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: know what Tommy you heard. Let's see a quarterback six sex.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Don't keep you you Okay, we got a job. Yeah,

- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Love Officer. Here we go, and Steve, try to keep
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: your composure on this one. Okay, it's from little Joe
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: in Lake Dallas Tech right there. Already don't like it
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: because it sounded like my homie Louis John And you
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: know we already go ahead with problem. Go ahead, sh
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Little Joe says, I'm in my late forties and i'd
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: love to get your advice on dating women that are
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: taller than me. My ex wife is five nine and
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: you heard what I said, and I'm five seven, but
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: the high difference was never a big deal to her.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: We got divorced, and I'm not having much luck dating.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I prefer tall women, and it's a good thing I
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: have thick skin, because a lot of tall women have
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: laughed in my face and called me shorty. I even
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: tried dating a lady that's five three, and she even
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: said I'm shorter than the guys she typically dating. What's
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a man to do, little man? Look at him? What
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Little Joe, little man? You know? Well, I'm being restored,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: little man. He called himself little Joe. At least I'm
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: calling him a man. I ain't say a little boy.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: I'm being okay, cool, little Joe. Look at the fact
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: that you prefer taller women. That's fine. You have every
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: right to your preference. Now you guys to find taller
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: women that prefer short of men, well see, and you know,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: just based on Time's response, I'm thinking you're gonna have
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to up yourself esteem, little Joe. You're gonna have to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: pull yourself up and just keep your head up and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: don't let nobody belittle you, you know, so to speak,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: don't let nobody talk down to you. You know, stop
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: keeping up, stop letting people walk over you. This is
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: not helping you. Don't not help. Well, we married a
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: tall woman. There's another tall woman out there that'll hap him.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I'm sure I'm pretty sure what he is. Yeah, all right.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Ronita and Marietta Georgia says, I have four girlfriends and
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: we went on a girl's weekend in the North Georgia
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Mountains last week to do an intervention on a girlfriend
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: that's engaged to a controlling man. We rented an Airbnb
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: and had some wine before we tried talking to her
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: about her man. She was very defensive, so we let
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: it go and went to bed. Around two am, her
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: fiance popped up at our place. He said he couldn't
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: sleep without her, so he drove over an hour and
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: a half to pick her up. She thought it was sweet.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: We told her it was very creepy. She's not getting it,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: so should we stay out of it? That's a mess.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: What the old people say. I can't get sick and
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: tired for you, right, that's it. But if you think
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: and this is cute and you fit to marry him,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: this cute gonna way off after a while. Yeah, because
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I don't care how much you love a person. You
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: need space. Yeah, you need the ability to breathe and
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: do you and be you. And if he's that controlling
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: and that overbearing, and it's gonna get old and then
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: probably got old now. But you're thinking it's cute, Oh,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: he won't be so bad. Okay. Coming up next, it's
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and of course we'll
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Harvey at forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, here we are, last
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: break of the day. M boy, A good day, A
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: good day. I think we learned a few things today.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Yeah you know what, Steve, we were talking about. Um,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: you know, we were young making mistakes and things like that.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: So as we get into this closing remarks today, I
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: just want to ask you, you know, maybe there's something
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: you can impart to a young person out there who's
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: twenty one, who's you know, we were all twenty one before,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: we've made mistakes. Let them know that they can come
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: you know here, here's here's a deal. Uh. It is
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: amazing how we how we are sometimes it uh, you know,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: towards one another, and how we are with our own actions.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: It's almost like we we act like we've never made
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a mistake ourselves. We act like, you know, what somebody
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: else has done is more more unforgivable and more unthinkable
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: than they could ever imagine of themselves when an actuality.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: The truth of the matter is, we've all done things.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: And thank god that there was no social media when
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I was twenty one. Thank god there was no Instagram, Snapchat,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: no phone cameras, Helen, It were no phones when I
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: was twenty one. Yeah, yeah, there's no record of the reckless,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: idiotic decisions we made back then. But what happens to
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: these young people today is that they have no way
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: of learning and fixing themselves on their own. They have
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: no time to heal. The destruction of one another is
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: so rampant in our society today that it's frightening. Man.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: It's it's almost like, man, I really really hate to
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: see bad news come out about young people because they
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: are so attached to social media that they is such
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: a part of their world and so many, so many
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: of these young people count on it. There's some grown
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: folks count on it too, though, and it's just a
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: tear down in social media that begins the destruction of
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: a person. Man, Does anybody give anybody uplift on social media?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Does anybody try to say, you know what, I understand,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I understand, I've been there, little girl hanging there. Everybody
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: makes mistakes, but it's such a rush to judgment, and
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: then even as you rush to judgment, that's just a
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: rush to destruction. And I'm really really concerned about young
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: people today because, look, I still make mistakes. Made a
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: mistake this year, I made a mistake this year, a mistake.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I've been ate up. I get beat up all the time. Man,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: But I'm gonna just keep I'm gonna just keep striving.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep going along. You know. I'm just
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I'm just strong enough to understand that. Hey man, I'd
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: have made them before. And like I said the other day,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: one of the cool things is when I look back
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: on all of my rough days, When I look back
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: on all the days I thought I wasn't going to duel,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: my track record for surviving bad days so far is
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: one hundred percent. And that's pretty cool. Anything else, sure, well,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: you know, I mean, thank you for that, Thank you
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: for that. I just want to And how important is
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: it seem like to have a support system, you know what?
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: That's important man, that somebody reaches their hand down to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: pick you up, to give you words of encouragement. And
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you can be that to a person that you see,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: this is getting beat up. See the thing about hate,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: and I've often said it, hate is louder than love,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: but love is stronger, ye see. So you can loudly
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: try to bring somebody down and somebody can come and
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: softly and calmly pick them up and hold and give
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: them time to heal and be okay. But you know,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: there's a loving side to most people, that is a
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: compassionate side to most people. And if you don't get
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: out there and get in the fray and the hate game, now,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: let's assists some people that's just hateful. You know, the
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: devil is busy today, man, The devil has imps that
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: work for him twenty four seven and they on Twitter,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: they own Instagram, and they own whatever. And the devil
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: just pressed the button and here they go to work,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: and they call themselves haters, and that my job is
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: to hate. No, it's not, No, it's really not. Our
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: job really is to love and uplift one another. Because
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: guess what, you're gonna need loving and you're gonna need uplifted.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You can be the
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: world's greatest hater. At one point in time, you're gonna
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: need some loving and some uplift. And when it's time
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: to get yours, you know, that's when the Lord's prayer
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: comes into effect. Give us this day our daily bread,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: forgive us our trust passes as we forgive those who
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: trust pass against us, Or forgive us our debts as
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: we forgive our debt us, which simply means when it's
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: time for you to get your compassion and your love,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: yours is gonna be passed out to you the way
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you gave it out there everybody else. Wow. And you
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: have to remember that, man, and we as people. Man,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you have to tap into your loving side. If you
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: see somebody getting beat up, it ain't nothing wrong with
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you to go over there and just trying to hug him,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: give him my help. That don't make you nothing less
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: than a person because you don't agree with the masses.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta pick a person up, man. They just
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: need a little bit of uplifts so they can get
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: up and keep going. This young girl don't deserve to
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: have her life taken from her because she made a mistake.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: And we should not have though the will to see
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: another young person get broken before they even get built up.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: That's a sad thing, man, it is. Those are those
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: are my remarks. Drop have a great week. Cand for all.
