- 1:06Speaker 5: Love you.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Turn I can.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 6: You probably got to turn mouth turn out, turn a
- 1:47Speaker 6: W the w a jup.
- 1:55Speaker 7: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 7: dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 3: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 7: Why because God, God is in the blessing business. If
- 2:17Speaker 7: you go get in line, he has something for you.
- 2:22Speaker 7: God is amazing. The plan he actually has for you
- 2:27Speaker 7: is so far greater than you can possibly imagine. It's
- 2:30Speaker 7: really mind blowing. And as I look back on where
- 2:36Speaker 7: He's brought me from and what he's currently doing for me,
- 2:41Speaker 7: all I can do is tell you is God. That's
- 2:43Speaker 7: all I can tell you. Because I tell you right now,
- 2:45Speaker 7: I didn't foresee it.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 7: It oftentimes amazes me when I listen to celebrities when
- 2:51Speaker 7: they interview, how they say, you know, I always always
- 2:54Speaker 7: thought that this would happen for me and I just
- 2:57Speaker 7: you know it could be true, but for me it
- 3:00Speaker 7: is not that way at all. I didn't imagine it
- 3:06Speaker 7: this way. I had a dream of becoming famous one day,
- 3:12Speaker 7: but I had no idea it would ever get to this.
- 3:18Speaker 7: It was a very very simple desire for fame. There
- 3:22Speaker 7: is no way I could have seen all this. There
- 3:24Speaker 7: is no way. I am telling you this has been
- 3:29Speaker 7: nothing for me but the grace of God, and all
- 3:33Speaker 7: the times I failed, every time I had fallen, he
- 3:38Speaker 7: picked me up, He dusted me off, and he kept
- 3:42Speaker 7: me moving. It has been an amazing thing to watch
- 3:47Speaker 7: God do what he do. As I look back on
- 3:50Speaker 7: my history and you sometimes look back on your history,
- 3:53Speaker 7: you've got to see, man, wow, what God has done
- 3:57Speaker 7: for you and what He's brought you through to enable
- 3:59Speaker 7: you to be where you are.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It is amazing because really, I mean really real talk.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Now, had he allowed all of the decisions I had
- 4:09Speaker 7: made to play all the way out, I could assure you.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I wouldn't be here today.
- 4:14Speaker 7: But God, through this grace and mercy, who had a
- 4:17Speaker 7: plan for me, who was just waiting on me to
- 4:20Speaker 7: come get in line, and then he was gonna start
- 4:23Speaker 7: emptying Now he was gonna start shipping out all the
- 4:26Speaker 7: boxes in heaven with my name on it. And man,
- 4:30Speaker 7: what a great god he is, What a great god
- 4:33Speaker 7: he is. And you have boxes of blessings with your
- 4:38Speaker 7: name on it that he is waiting to ship.
- 4:41Speaker 3: But he needs you to go down there and get
- 4:43Speaker 3: in line. That's what it is.
- 4:46Speaker 7: It is not that he has more boxes for other
- 4:49Speaker 7: people than he do you. He got boxes with your
- 4:51Speaker 7: name on it who have never been shipped. Because you
- 4:55Speaker 7: will not get in line to go get them. You
- 4:58Speaker 7: will not ask God for him, you will not do
- 5:01Speaker 7: the things necessary to attain them. We stop our own blessings. Man,
- 5:05Speaker 7: I have been the biggest stopper of my blessings than
- 5:07Speaker 7: anybody else. I can't really get mad at nobody. I
- 5:11Speaker 7: got nobody to blame for my existence but me. But
- 5:15Speaker 7: then at the same time, I can't take credit for this,
- 5:19Speaker 7: I really really can. I kid you not. I cannot
- 5:21Speaker 7: take credit for it. And if you ever see me
- 5:24Speaker 7: taking credit for it, tap me on the shoulder, say Steve,
- 5:28Speaker 7: pull up. Remember you said this ain't about you. If
- 5:31Speaker 7: you catch me taking too much credit, you have my
- 5:35Speaker 7: permission to stop me. Now Here is the deal, though,
- 5:40Speaker 7: And This is what I want to get through to
- 5:42Speaker 7: you today. Moving forward while under attack, new level, new devil.
- 5:52Speaker 7: You know, every time you go somewhere, every time you
- 5:55Speaker 7: try to progress, every time you make a decision to
- 5:57Speaker 7: be better, to do better, that's going to be a
- 6:00Speaker 7: confrontation you're going to have because it is the enemy's
- 6:03Speaker 7: job to not see you go forward, do better, want more,
- 6:08Speaker 7: behave yourself. There is a force that is operative out
- 6:12Speaker 7: there that has people working on his behalf twenty four
- 6:17Speaker 7: to seven. You got a computer, Go read a blog.
- 6:20Speaker 7: Just go read a blog. They busy man not knowing,
- 6:24Speaker 7: but just saying evil stuff constantly.
- 6:28Speaker 2: That's the job. Well, here's what happens.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I you.
- 6:34Speaker 7: We have to always keep moving forward while we're under attack,
- 6:42Speaker 7: because the attack is going to always come. If you
- 6:47Speaker 7: allow the attackers to stop you, you will lose that
- 6:51Speaker 7: particular battle. And you cannot afford this.
- 6:55Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:55Speaker 7: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 6:59Speaker 7: to kick body off the ladder, because you got to
- 7:02Speaker 7: take your foot off too, and you might slip. And
- 7:06Speaker 7: so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 7:09Speaker 7: most some of them, the majority of them mayn't even
- 7:11Speaker 7: up own a ladder. They just at the bottom throwing
- 7:13Speaker 7: stuff up at you. They are just shaking your ladder.
- 7:17Speaker 7: They ain't even they ain't even on your level. Really
- 7:19Speaker 7: tell you the truth, they really not. You have moved
- 7:22Speaker 7: on far beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything, but they are
- 7:27Speaker 7: still shaking your ladder and attacking.
- 7:29Speaker 8: You.
- 7:29Speaker 7: Keep moving forward while under attack, because the attacks are.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Going to come.
- 7:34Speaker 7: If you take the time to stop and address it,
- 7:37Speaker 7: you are impeding your own progress.
- 7:41Speaker 2: This is very important to understand.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Go on bout your business and remember Steve Harvey, and
- 7:48Speaker 7: remember those of you out there.
- 7:49Speaker 2: There is a Bible verse that helps me out every time.
- 7:53Speaker 2: And I don't know why.
- 7:54Speaker 7: I got it on six different plaques sitting all around
- 7:56Speaker 7: my offices. Everywhere I go, I can read it Isaiah
- 7:59Speaker 7: fifty seventeen. No weapon formed against me shall prosper that
- 8:04Speaker 7: because this is that he will put me under his
- 8:07Speaker 7: wings or protection. And this is my inheritance as a
- 8:13Speaker 7: servant of.
- 8:14Speaker 2: The Lord period.
- 8:16Speaker 7: I'm his boy, he my man, so so dig so
- 8:20Speaker 7: when you're coming for me, I have to just rest
- 8:23Speaker 7: on that Lord right there, that he got it that
- 8:27Speaker 7: no weapon formed against me show prosper I'm just like you.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Sometimes you know, we know better, but sometimes we don't
- 8:33Speaker 7: do better. Man, let them say what they gonna say
- 8:36Speaker 7: when they get through saying it, when they get through
- 8:39Speaker 7: writing it, when they get through talking about you, when
- 8:41Speaker 7: they get through lying about you. Guess what they're gonna
- 8:44Speaker 7: have to do. They're gonna have to step back and
- 8:46Speaker 7: watch your rise. They gonna have to kick back and
- 8:49Speaker 7: watch what God got for you, because nothing God got
- 8:52Speaker 7: for you. Can't nobody stop it. I don't care what
- 8:54Speaker 7: they do. Keep moving forward while under attack. Yo, something
- 9:01Speaker 7: I tell you something, man. Minister Lewis Fahirkhn taught me
- 9:05Speaker 7: something very important one day, he says, Steve, remember this.
- 9:09Speaker 2: He said.
- 9:10Speaker 7: It is a common thing for a dog to bark
- 9:14Speaker 7: up at the moon. But if the moon barks back
- 9:18Speaker 7: at the dog, the dog becomes famous.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You feel me, the moon was talking to you.
- 9:25Speaker 3: What did you?
- 9:26Speaker 7: How did the moon stop and talk to you? Don't
- 9:29Speaker 7: give them that. Let the dog bark up at the moon.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Don't you be up there? You go where God got
- 9:34Speaker 7: you going. Don't bark back at this dog because the
- 9:37Speaker 7: dog come famous. Because they ain't gonna be able to
- 9:38Speaker 7: get to you. But the dog is famous now They
- 9:40Speaker 7: want to interview the dog. Now the dog guess what
- 9:43Speaker 7: he gonna do? More barking? Guess what about you? Man?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Go on about your biersins.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Y'all. God is in the.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Blessing business all day long.
- 9:50Speaker 7: Man, Go get in line, get you some get them
- 9:54Speaker 7: packages and boxes shipped to you.
- 9:55Speaker 3: They got your name on it.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening morning, ladies and gentlemen. Let me have your
- 10:04Speaker 7: undivided attention. This is the voice of Steve Harvey, so
- 10:07Speaker 7: a little bit different today. I've decided to use my
- 10:10Speaker 7: radio voice today. How long I'll be using this voice,
- 10:14Speaker 7: I'm not really really sure.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It's rather dry and boring to me, but I a'll
- 10:19Speaker 2: attempt to use it.
- 10:20Speaker 7: Strawberry has the best voice in all of radio. I
- 10:24Speaker 7: will never be accused of that. I have been called
- 10:28Speaker 7: country healsworthy. Most recently I found out I was a
- 10:32Speaker 7: country bumpkin.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Well, let me say this, the country bumpkin done made it.
- 10:43Speaker 2: You better. Wish you was this country Use.
- 10:48Speaker 3: What you got.
- 10:49Speaker 7: I heard a preach on Instagram talking about all the
- 10:53Speaker 7: people in the Bible that God had used that was flawed, murderers, adultrous, thieves, prostitutes, womanizers, haters, thieves, cowards.
- 11:10Speaker 7: He used a lot of different people. I just figured,
- 11:14Speaker 7: you know, country Bunking could be one of them.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Two. So here I.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Am hey man together letting him use me.
- 11:25Speaker 7: I laugh at people now, man Steve Mordershaw shutting Strawberry
- 11:28Speaker 7: calling for real Mississippi Monica, Junior and the legend that
- 11:31Speaker 7: is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Hey man, I am so.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Happy that I have discovered the new version of me.
- 11:37Speaker 7: I've been working on it for quite some while. Quite
- 11:40Speaker 7: some time, God has removed me from a lot of
- 11:42Speaker 7: people and put me off in a corner somewhere and
- 11:45Speaker 7: put me on time out so he could talk to me.
- 11:47Speaker 7: And he figured out the best way to talk to
- 11:49Speaker 7: me was to remove distraction and set me over there
- 11:52Speaker 7: by myself.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So I've been alone for.
- 11:54Speaker 7: A little while now, and man o, man o man,
- 11:57Speaker 7: has he been talking to me? And I've been listening,
- 12:01Speaker 7: and man on, man o man, I'm I'm even more
- 12:04Speaker 7: solid than I ever been. Thank you, Lord. I ain't
- 12:07Speaker 7: know what you was doing at first, but I got
- 12:08Speaker 7: it now, how Junior?
- 12:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, you know the country Bumpkin got a
- 12:17Speaker 5: minting camp going on right now. The Country Bumpkin do
- 12:20Speaker 5: And did you ever see your billy self. Yeah, with
- 12:23Speaker 5: your hull billy self. Did you ever foresee yourself on
- 12:25Speaker 5: being this type of mentor? Did you ever foresee this part?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Did you ever see that?
- 12:30Speaker 9: Hell?
- 12:30Speaker 2: No, I needed a mentor.
- 12:33Speaker 7: I thank God for my father Man, because this dude
- 12:36Speaker 7: was the best mentor I ever had. Now, his methods
- 12:40Speaker 7: I've had to adjust because his methods didn't really work
- 12:44Speaker 7: on my sons, and they show ain't gonna work at
- 12:46Speaker 7: this camp. But they were very effective for me in
- 12:49Speaker 7: the time that I grew up as a young young boy,
- 12:52Speaker 7: growing up in the sixties, so I needed that toughness
- 12:55Speaker 7: that he gave me. But I think I think most
- 12:59Speaker 7: of us never know what we're gonna end up. You know,
- 13:01Speaker 7: it kills me when people say that I always knew
- 13:05Speaker 7: i'd be here. Well, really, really, congratulations. Very few of
- 13:10Speaker 7: us know exactly where we'll wind up. But when you
- 13:13Speaker 7: get there, you're all feel grateful that you are. And
- 13:16Speaker 7: that's why I am right now, you know. I was,
- 13:18Speaker 7: like Beyonce knew at fourteen, Matthew Knowles was bringing her
- 13:22Speaker 7: to the hip hop comedy stop down in Houston. She
- 13:25Speaker 7: was fourteen years old. She'd go up on amateur night
- 13:27Speaker 7: her and the girls. Yep, and he knew. He said, Man,
- 13:31Speaker 7: my daughter gonna be a star. I said, OK, well,
- 13:33Speaker 7: I got these jokes to tell, so can you tease me?
- 13:36Speaker 6: All right?

- 36:15Speaker 8: little girls that are receiving treatment at Saint Jude. We
- 36:19Speaker 8: met their fathers. We heard their stories and what stood
- 36:23Speaker 8: out most to me is the amount of support that
- 36:26Speaker 8: Saint Jude offers families of his patients. They provide transportation, housing, meals,
- 36:32Speaker 8: and other resources for the parents of the Saint Jude patient,
- 36:36Speaker 8: all free of charge. They don't charge anything to the families.
- 36:40Speaker 8: Families never receive a bill for treatment or any other assistance.
- 36:46Speaker 6: Well, I met a beautiful little girl, Steve, you would
- 36:49Speaker 6: have loved her. Her name was Yara.
- 36:51Speaker 8: We sat down and painted together and just a sweet
- 36:54Speaker 8: spirited little girl. She and her dad were there. We
- 36:57Speaker 8: all painted together. But she was the flyest little girl
- 37:01Speaker 8: you ever want to see. She had on the cute
- 37:04Speaker 8: little outfit. It was black with bell bottoms.
- 37:07Speaker 10: And I mean she was.
- 37:09Speaker 6: They paired me with the perfect little girl. They really
- 37:12Speaker 6: really did. And here you said your girl was little bossy.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a young lady. She was.
- 37:18Speaker 12: She was.
- 37:18Speaker 5: She was nice, but you know, we had to paint
- 37:20Speaker 5: and everything. And she's from the Minican Dominican Republic. She
- 37:24Speaker 5: was from No, she's from South America and she had
- 37:26Speaker 5: eye cancer. But we were painting right, and she told
- 37:29Speaker 5: me to paint a picture right and told me where
- 37:31Speaker 5: I needed to paint, but every time I had to
- 37:34Speaker 5: go pick a color, she told me no. Now, she

- 50:10Speaker 2: What's your problem?
- 50:11Speaker 9: Okay? Well my problem is this is that, you know,
- 50:14Speaker 9: after purchasing the property, I went downtown to the city
- 50:18Speaker 9: and actually looked at, you know, the layout of this
- 50:22Speaker 9: entire property. And when I look at it, you actually
- 50:25Speaker 9: twenty five close to thirty feet over the property line.
- 50:29Speaker 12: Well, now you look at the wrong map.
- 50:31Speaker 9: No, No, the fifth that separates my backyard from your backyard.
- 50:35Speaker 9: You are thirty feet over that.
- 50:37Speaker 15: That's impossible, you know.
- 50:39Speaker 9: Listen, and I know what is that. Let me let me.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Let me tell you how I.
- 50:42Speaker 9: Looked at you got a jacuzie in your backyard?

- 50:45Speaker 9: See them even spine on me, no harm them inspired
- 50:48Speaker 9: on you, sir. I'm just telling you closer that not
- 50:51Speaker 9: far from that fish line? Don't don't you have a
- 50:53Speaker 9: jacuzie there?
- 50:54Speaker 12: Well?
- 50:54Speaker 9: As a matter of fact, I.
- 50:55Speaker 15: Do, yes, okay.
- 50:57Speaker 9: Now the pools, the Poola's okay. But what if I
- 51:00Speaker 9: if I pushed that fence line back thirty it actually
- 51:03Speaker 9: get the property that I'm supposed to have.
- 51:06Speaker 15: I pretty much own.
- 51:07Speaker 12: Yo yo yo yo jakuz you'll have to I see. Okay,
- 51:11Speaker 12: let me tell you something. I've been in that house
- 51:13Speaker 12: for ten years. We put that fence up when we
- 51:16Speaker 12: moved in, and it was based on the property line
- 51:19Speaker 12: that was that was set when ten years ago. I
- 51:22Speaker 12: don't know what you're looking at, but my fence is
- 51:25Speaker 12: not moving, my jacuzzi's not moving, and there's there's no
- 51:29Speaker 12: changing that.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:31Speaker 9: Well, let me let me let me I'm glad you
- 51:32Speaker 9: just use your voice. What you wanted the boy. Not
- 51:35Speaker 9: not not no you hear you hear a WLD cup
- 51:37Speaker 9: it out.
- 51:38Speaker 15: Let me tell you so.
- 51:39Speaker 9: Uh, Either we're gonna take the fence line and move
- 51:42Speaker 9: where it's supposed to be, or we're gonna put a
- 51:45Speaker 9: gate between I two yards and I'm gonna be able
- 51:48Speaker 9: to come and get in miss Kobe and pool or
- 51:51Speaker 9: whatever I want to.
- 51:52Speaker 15: All right, let's let's let's let's.
- 51:53Speaker 9: Talk about this.
- 51:54Speaker 12: First of all, there's not gonna be a date, okay.
- 51:57Speaker 12: And as far as you just coming over and in
- 52:00Speaker 12: the jacuzzie at will, I got a real problem with that. Uh,
- 52:04Speaker 12: you've called me at work. I'm on the job and
- 52:06Speaker 12: I'm having to listen to this on a future neighbor
- 52:11Speaker 12: who's making weird claims about how he owns part of
- 52:15Speaker 12: my plan. Bad I owned the uzie, sir, No, you
- 52:20Speaker 12: did not pay for that jacuzzie.
- 52:22Speaker 6: You did not pay for that tense.
- 52:24Speaker 15: You just showed up making a He called me at work,
- 52:27Speaker 15: and and and and and then you had me some
- 52:29Speaker 15: story with no evidence. I'll go down to the city
- 52:33Speaker 15: Hall and look at those papers myself, because that owns
- 52:37Speaker 15: the word you're saying. I've been there for ten years.
- 52:41Speaker 15: I've had ten other neighbors in that backyard.
- 52:44Speaker 12: You'll cycle through once a year, I swear, and I've
- 52:47Speaker 12: never had any problems with him until you come along.
- 52:50Speaker 9: This is some okay. Well, I'll tell you what. Here's
- 52:53Speaker 9: something you need to understand. You got a new black neighbor,
- 52:56Speaker 9: and you got a new black neighbor that owns part
- 52:58Speaker 9: owns your chacuzi. Because you're over the fence line, all right.
- 53:02Speaker 9: And as soon as I move in, I'm coming and
- 53:04Speaker 9: I'm getting in my jacuzie.
- 53:06Speaker 15: You will, man, You know what I mean, Just no
- 53:09Speaker 15: move into back. I'm gonna use a jacuzie on Monday,
- 53:13Speaker 15: Wednesday and Friday. You gonna get it on Tuesday, Thursday,
- 53:16Speaker 15: on the weekend. That's it, because body is damn Zakouzie
- 53:19Speaker 15: belongs to me.
- 53:21Speaker 9: Zakuzi is home by a black man and a white man,
- 53:24Speaker 9: and we gonna get along lot of line.
- 53:26Speaker 15: Look here, little listen, hear you too, You to dictate
- 53:29Speaker 15: what days I get to use my jecuzie, because it's
- 53:32Speaker 15: not you're coming over to my desk.
- 53:34Speaker 9: You're not just your crying.
- 53:36Speaker 15: It's our jakuzie because you you built that.
- 53:39Speaker 9: That's the only thing that makes it yours. It's being
- 53:41Speaker 9: on my part of the property I was making mine.

- 54:06Speaker 9: You know who's gonna be in there with me?
- 54:07Speaker 15: Who's gonna be in there?
- 54:09Speaker 9: I'm gonna have cutting hell in the dawn? Jacuz Who
- 54:12Speaker 9: cutting hell?
- 54:15Speaker 3: My coworker.

- 54:58Speaker 8: gears here now and it's time for the Strawberry Letter.

- 55:19Speaker 2: Muggle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 55:21Speaker 2: you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 55:23Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 55:23Speaker 8: Nephew's subject his family never has any money. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:29Speaker 8: I'm married to the sweetest man on earth, and he's
- 55:33Speaker 8: very outgoing and he loves to cook. Because of that,
- 55:37Speaker 8: we never can have a quiet dinner at home. If
- 55:40Speaker 8: he makes pasta. He has enough food to feed the multitude,
- 55:44Speaker 8: and his family knows it, so they automatically drop by
- 55:47Speaker 8: and fix a plate. My husband has styrofoam to go
- 55:51Speaker 8: plates just for his family. I complain about his family
- 55:55Speaker 8: taking advantage of him, but he doesn't see it that way.
- 55:58Speaker 8: I do sneaky little things, like I'll ask his mother
- 56:01Speaker 8: to bring a gallon of milk when she comes, but
- 56:03Speaker 8: she always has an excuse not to do it. She'll
- 56:06Speaker 8: say she wasn't dressed to run in the store, or
- 56:08Speaker 8: she forgot to shop. Same with his brother. He always
- 56:12Speaker 8: shows up empty handed. Since the fourth of July is
- 56:15Speaker 8: coming up, I told my husband to leave the planning
- 56:18Speaker 8: up to me after he ordered a bouncy house for
- 56:21Speaker 8: our backyard so all of his nieces and nephews can play.
- 56:24Speaker 8: So I sent out eight individual emails to his sisters,
- 56:28Speaker 8: his brother, his parents, and his godmother. I told them
- 56:32Speaker 8: what to bring based on their income. I got eight
- 56:35Speaker 8: emails back, and the first thing on each email.
- 56:39Speaker 6: Was did E ask you to send this to me?
- 56:42Speaker 8: Then I got six different excuses about them not having
- 56:46Speaker 8: any money. It's the first of June and they're already
- 56:49Speaker 8: claiming to be broke past the fourth of July. When
- 56:53Speaker 8: my husband found out I sent the emails, he went
- 56:56Speaker 8: off on me. He said I was dead wrong for
- 56:58Speaker 8: asking his family to chip in, knowing they all have
- 57:02Speaker 8: financial issues. I yelled back at him because I'm tired
- 57:05Speaker 8: of him feeding and entertaining those broke grown folks with
- 57:09Speaker 8: our money.
- 57:10Speaker 6: Is his ego taking over and he's trying to impress
- 57:13Speaker 6: his family?
- 57:14Speaker 8: Why does he take care of them like this obviously
- 57:17Speaker 8: because he can, and that's what he wants to do.
- 57:20Speaker 6: He wants to do it.
- 57:21Speaker 8: He's been doing it for so long this way. It's
- 57:24Speaker 8: a hard habit to break. I know this is frustrating
- 57:27Speaker 8: to you as his wife. You're counting the money and
- 57:29Speaker 8: all of that. You see them as using him and
- 57:32Speaker 8: taking advantage of him, and.
- 57:33Speaker 6: They are, and it is.
- 57:35Speaker 3: But he wants to do this.
- 57:37Speaker 8: He wants to cook for them and have them over.
- 57:40Speaker 8: You said he was sweet and very outgoing, and he
- 57:43Speaker 8: loves to cook. He enjoys cooking for his family. Remember
- 57:47Speaker 8: you said he was sweet and outgoing. I really think
- 57:50Speaker 8: you should pick your battles, and in this one you're
- 57:53Speaker 8: losing with your husband.
- 57:54Speaker 3: You just are.
- 57:55Speaker 8: This is the man you married, this outgoing guy who
- 57:58Speaker 8: loves to cook and have family over. You know you
- 58:01Speaker 8: want intimate time with your husband.
- 58:03Speaker 6: I get that.
- 58:04Speaker 8: Maybe you should schedule date nights if you want to
- 58:08Speaker 8: be alone with him. Cooking big meals makes him happy.
- 58:12Speaker 8: I mean, I just say, don't ruin it for him.
- 58:14Speaker 8: Your little email scam to his family backfired, and they
- 58:18Speaker 8: never bring anything when you ask them to, so you
- 58:21Speaker 8: might have to let this one go.
- 58:23Speaker 6: Your house is that house the family house. Everybody comes
- 58:26Speaker 6: over there to eat. He cooks a lot because.
- 58:28Speaker 8: He wants them to come over and dig in. Otherwise
- 58:31Speaker 8: all that food would go to waste. I mean, I
- 58:33Speaker 8: don't think this is as big a problem as you
- 58:35Speaker 8: seem to think it is.
- 58:37Speaker 7: Steve Lady, the subject is his family never has any money.
- 58:42Speaker 7: Who in Hill on this show don't know that sentence?
- 58:50Speaker 7: Who out there in the listening audience don't know that sentence?
- 58:56Speaker 7: Don't ever set to say his You could just say
- 58:58Speaker 7: they fam never has any money, and you can and
- 59:04Speaker 7: you can put the shoe on whatever foot it fit.
- 59:07Speaker 7: Everybody been through that, Everybody know that. Come on now, now,
- 59:12Speaker 7: you're married to the sweetest man on earth. He's very
- 59:16Speaker 7: outgoing and he loves to cook. Okay, you just described
- 59:21Speaker 7: who you're married to. That's who you have. He's yours.
- 59:27Speaker 7: He is the sweetest man on earth. He's very outgoing
- 59:31Speaker 7: and he loves to cook. Okay, tada, what's the rest
- 59:35Speaker 7: of his letter fault? If you state that right up
- 59:39Speaker 7: at the top, what is the rest of the letter fault?
- 59:43Speaker 7: Because all the rest of the letter is is you
- 59:46Speaker 7: countering who you already know this man is. Because of that,
- 59:51Speaker 7: we can never have a quiet dinner at home. If
- 59:54Speaker 7: he makes pasta. He has enough food to feed the multitudes,
- 59:58Speaker 7: and his family knows it.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I see that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: That's a biblical reference. You tried to go holy. He
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: got enough food to.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: Feed the multitudes.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Now you na you mad because he trying to be
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: Jesus five thousand hungry souls.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: He fed.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: Five fish, two loads of bread. That's what that reference is.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: My husband had started from him to gold plates for
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: his family. I complained about his family taking advantage of him.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: But he don't see it that way. You know why
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: he don't see it that way, because he's the sweetest
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: man on earth. That's what you said. But now you
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: mad because he's being the very reason you married him.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: He just didn't know he was married to the wicked
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: witch of the West, and that's the problem. Hang on,
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: he didn't know he had married brune Hilda. Hang on,
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: Cinderellas will have two of your response to step almost.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: The subject of today's strawberry letter is his family never
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: has any money.
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: Morning show, all right, Come on, Steve let's recap today's
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: strawberry letter.
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: The subject is his family never has any money.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: They don't They never have money, and he knows that
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: he grew up in this family. That's where he from.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: You stated that you're married to the sweetest man on earth.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: He's outgoing and he loves to cook. So if that's
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: the case, why did you write this letter? Because everything
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: in this letter you wrote counters exactly what you say.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: We can never have a quiet dinner at home. If
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: he make positive he got enough food to feed the multitudes.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: You try to be religious owners. Five thousand hongry souls
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: he fed, but that's what he do. He even has
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: style foam to go place for his family. I complain
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: about his family taking advantage of him, but he don't
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: see it that way.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: He don't see it that way.
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: Because he is a kind and loving person, the sweetest
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: man on earth. Then you say, I do sneaky little
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: things like I'll ask his mother to bring a gallon
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: of milk when she comes, but she always got an
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: excuse not to. She'll say she wasn't dressed to run
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: to the store and forgot to stop.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Same with his brother.
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: He always show up in behnded and since the fourth
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: of July's coused me. I told my husband to leave
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: the planning up to me. That was after he ordered
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: a bouncy house so all his nephews and nieces could
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: play in the backyard. That's who you married, the sweetest
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: man on earth. But no, so you say I tried
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: to be sneaky. I sent our eight individual emails to
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: his sisters and brothers, his parents, and his godmother.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: I told him what to bring based on their income.
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: I got eight emails back, and the first thing each
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: each email said was did he asked.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: You to send me to.
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: So see, you ain't as sneaky as you think. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: try to do sneaky little stuff. I sent out eight
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: individual email. Well, you ain't as sneak as you think,
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: and I already know he didn't ask you to do.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: This because you blocking.
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: Then I got six different excuses about them not having
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: any money. And your husband know this about this family.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: He grew up in this family. He knows how how
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: they are. This is the first of June and they
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: are already complaining about being broke past to.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Fourth because they already broke.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: These are broke people.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: They plan on being broke, They have no aspirations of
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: plans of prospering.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Who don't know people like that? He got a family
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: full of them.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: Now, it's confusing to you, and it's frustrating to you,
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: and you feel as though you're being taken advantage of.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: I got that.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: They all have financial issues, they always have and they
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: always will. But he loves them. They are his folks.
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: They have some redeeming qualities, but they ain't got no money. Now,
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: if you start getting rid of family members because we
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: they ain't got no money, we ain't gonna have no family.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: I wouldn't have no family. It was based on their income.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: So no, I still love my family. I still help
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: my family. I take care of my family. And I'm
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: gonna tell you why. You said I'm tired of him
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: feeding and entertaining those broke grown folks. No, no, no,
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: they are not broke grown folks with our money.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: They are his.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: Family's his ego taking over and he's trying to impress
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: his family. Why does he take care of him like that.
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you exactly why. It is not his ego,
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: It is his responsibility. And you know why is his
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: responsibility because he is the chosen one. He is the
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: one in the family that made it. He is the
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: one in the family that cut hisself aside and distance himself.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: How do you know how many people out here listening
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: to this letter knows what I'm talking about. You are
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: the one in your family. You it, and you can
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: quit tripping cause you it.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: You can be either a borrower or you can be
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: the lender. Which one you want to be? Your husband
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: is the lender? Now would you prefer that you be
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: married to the lender or the borrower? You can't complain
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: about what all's on your plate when your whole goal
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: was to eat. Y'all eat, and they eat because of you.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I'm the chosen one in my family. You
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: happen to be the chosen one in your family.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Tag you sorry? You ain't like Butcher?
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Nil you it?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Sorry?

- 1:06:10Speaker 3: into that family. They ain't like you.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Sorry, but you're it. You're it. Quit complaining about being
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: it because it is who you are. And I would
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: rather be y'all than.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: To be them.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: What you tripping for? You overlooking the blessing that you
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: can feed them? Many people and still have money. You
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: missing the blessing that you ain't them, that you get
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: to be you. Y'all got money for a bouncy house
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: to put in the backyard. What they can't put a
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: bouncy house back then, they barely got a mattress. A
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: bouncing house. Y'all better go out there and jump off
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: them steps. That's what we did when we was little.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: We wanted to jump. We had to go out and
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: jump off steps.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: We ain't handle damn bouncing house onto the mattress.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: Listen, y'all stop complaining, cause you the one. You are
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: the one sorry. You are the responsible one. You are
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: the one that separated yourself. You're the first one get

- 1:07:25Speaker 7: You it sorry now, normally doing strawberry letters, I take
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: this time to make a fool out of these people,
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: but this is a great moment for us, and I'm.
