- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you and Senator this week has been truly a
- 0:08Speaker 1: crazy week. It's been a crazy two weeks with these
- 0:11Speaker 1: two hurricanes that hit the people of Florida, not once,
- 0:15Speaker 1: but twice. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them
- 0:20Speaker 1: and the recovery efforts that are down happening in Florida
- 0:23Speaker 1: right now. And I think we should obviously take a
- 0:25Speaker 1: moment and just say we are praying for the people
- 0:28Speaker 1: of Florida, We are with you right now and all
- 0:30Speaker 1: of those have been affected by these last two hurricanes.
- 0:33Speaker 1: But there was also something else that happened that was
- 0:36Speaker 1: extremely important, and it got overshadowed because of the weather, obviously,
- 0:42Speaker 1: and that was the one year anniversary of the attack
- 0:45Speaker 1: on the people of Israel.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly right, and let's start by saying to
- 0:52Speaker 2: the people of North Carolina that are still suffering from Helene.
- 0:56Speaker 2: And Helene was a horrific hurricane. There was enormous death
- 1:01Speaker 2: and devastation. And to the people of Florida that are
- 1:04Speaker 2: suffering from Hurricane Milton, and I know there are there.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We we've had I think the latest death count is
- 1:10Speaker 2: nine people have lost their lives. There has been massive suffering.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I will say you and I are both Texans. Texas
- 1:19Speaker 2: understands full well the misery of hurricanes. We faced hurricane
- 1:23Speaker 2: after hurricane, we face suffering and death. And I just
- 1:27Speaker 2: want to say we are praying for the people of
- 1:30Speaker 2: North Carolina and Florida and everyone in harms Way, but
- 1:33Speaker 2: especially those two states which which bore the brunt of
- 1:35Speaker 2: these two hurricanes.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:38Speaker 2: We are praying for the first responders we know are
- 1:41Speaker 2: still rescuing people in harms Way and and and and
- 1:45Speaker 2: for the federal relief efforts from from FEMA and and
- 1:49Speaker 2: HUD and the Small Business Administration. There are enormous resources
- 1:53Speaker 2: that become available to those who were hurting. And I
- 1:56Speaker 2: will say, having come through Hurricane Harvey, which devastated Houston,
- 2:01Speaker 2: you're in my hometown, in the entire Gulf Coast, and Rita,
- 2:05Speaker 2: a Nike, and all all of the different hurricanes Texas
- 2:08Speaker 2: has faced. Our prayers are with the people who are
- 2:11Speaker 2: suffering from these two hurricanes. This podcast, we wanted to
- 2:15Speaker 2: do something different, which is this past week was the
- 2:20Speaker 2: one year anniversary of October seventh and October seventh was
- 2:23Speaker 2: truly a horrific day. I believe it's an historic day.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I believe one hundred years from now we will be
- 2:30Speaker 2: talking about the horrors and evils of October seventh, and
- 2:34Speaker 2: so on October seventh in Dallas, I gave a speech
- 2:39Speaker 2: memorializing and recognizing what happened on October seventh, but also
- 2:43Speaker 2: acknowledging the positive benefits that ironically came in the wake
- 2:50Speaker 2: of October seventh and that have made a real difference.
- 2:54Speaker 2: So in this podcast, rather than talk about the news
- 2:57Speaker 2: of the day, which which is important and we'll talk
- 2:59Speaker 2: about again on Monday, we wanted to give you an
- 3:02Speaker 2: opportunity to hear the remarks that I gave on October seventh,
- 3:06Speaker 2: because I think they're important. And so that's what's about
- 3:10Speaker 2: to follow.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Right now, Before we get to that, I want to
- 3:13Speaker 1: tell you about our friends over at Blackout Coffee. And
- 3:16Speaker 1: if you're a coffee drinker like me, and you want

- 3:36Speaker 1: coffee companies out there. When I said that, you probably

- 4:34Speaker 1: let's play this important speech. Uh, just to put into
- 4:38Speaker 1: perspective what has happened over the last year since the
- 4:41Speaker 1: horrific attack on the people in Israel.
- 4:45Speaker 2: God bless Texas and God bless the state of Israel.
- 4:58Speaker 2: We're here today on a solemn occasion.
- 5:04Speaker 3: We're here today to remember one year ago the horror
- 5:10Speaker 3: that the world saw unfold.
- 5:14Speaker 2: On October seventh, three hundred and sixty five days ago,
- 5:21Speaker 2: genocideal Hamas terrorists entered southern Israel. They went from kibbutz
- 5:31Speaker 2: to kibbutz and from home to home, murdering virtually everyone
- 5:39Speaker 2: they found, deliberately targeting civilians, targeting the elderly, targeting women,
- 5:49Speaker 2: targeting children, and even toddlers and infants. And they murdered
- 5:56Speaker 2: them for one reason, because they were wish. October seventh
- 6:04Speaker 2: is the single worse mass murder of Jews in a
- 6:09Speaker 2: day since the Holocaust. Eleven hundred and ninety five people
- 6:18Speaker 2: were murdered on October seventh. Two hundred and fifty one
- 6:23Speaker 2: people were taken hostage.
- 6:26Speaker 3: On October seventh.
- 6:30Speaker 2: We saw terrorists using rape as a deliberate tool of terror,
- 6:40Speaker 2: raping women, raping young girls. I will tell you I
- 6:51Speaker 2: have had the horrible displeasure of watching videos of what
- 6:58Speaker 2: unfolded on that day. Videos from security cameras in Israel,
- 7:07Speaker 2: videos from body cameras and cell phones that the Hamas
- 7:11Speaker 2: terrorists took. Understand what they did that day. They were
- 7:15Speaker 2: not hiding, they were proud of. They were there to
- 7:21Speaker 2: murder and rape, and their only regret of the day
- 7:26Speaker 2: is that they did not murder more. When you watch
- 7:32Speaker 2: those videos, I spent nearly an hour watching videos in
- 7:38Speaker 2: the Senate. Roughly half of the US Senate came to
- 7:41Speaker 2: watch it. I saw in those videos one hundred and
- 7:45Speaker 2: thirty seven people being murdered. I will tell you it
- 7:50Speaker 2: makes you violently sick. It's not like watching a Hollywood
- 7:57Speaker 2: shoot them up or to make believe these are real
- 8:02Speaker 2: people being murdered for racist and genocidal purposes. It was
- 8:12Speaker 2: striking also listening to the Hamas terrorists, to the utter dehumanization.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Of Jews.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You saw them severing the heads of Jews, you saw
- 8:29Speaker 2: them mutilating the bodies. You saw them referring repeatedly to
- 8:36Speaker 2: the Jews they were murdering, not as he and not
- 8:39Speaker 2: as she, but as it, as something less than human.
- 8:49Speaker 2: One of the most chilling aspects of watching those videos
- 8:54Speaker 2: was listening to an intercepted phone call of one of
- 8:58Speaker 2: the Hamas terrorists calling home to his parents, and he
- 9:03Speaker 2: was thrilled. He was overjoyed to report how many Jews
- 9:09Speaker 2: he had murdered that day. And his father cries out
- 9:13Speaker 2: in great celebration. And what does he say, Call your mother,
- 9:18Speaker 2: Tell your mother about this wonderful act you have done
- 9:27Speaker 2: in the wake of the Holocaust. Never forget and never
- 9:35Speaker 2: again was said many times. It should be said the
- 9:41Speaker 2: same for October seventh. Now October seventh was Nazi ends
- 9:53Speaker 2: carried out using Nazi purposes. Will say, though, as horrific
- 10:03Speaker 2: as what happened on that day was, we also know
- 10:08Speaker 2: that God is a good God.
- 10:11Speaker 3: The Book of.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Genesis, after Joseph has been sold into slavery by his brothers,
- 10:19Speaker 2: years later, he encounters his brothers again, and his brothers
- 10:22Speaker 2: are terrified for what they have done to their brother
- 10:29Speaker 2: and Joseph says to them in the Book of Genesis,
- 10:32Speaker 2: what you have intended for evil, God intended for good.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And I will say, as horrific as evil as what
- 10:45Speaker 2: happened on October seventh was, there have been at least
- 10:50Speaker 2: two seriously important and profoundly beneficial consequences that have unfolded
- 11:03Speaker 2: in the year that followed October seventh. Number one was clarity.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Clarity is important with what is unfolding in Israel. In
- 11:17Speaker 2: my view, there are no shades of gray, there is
- 11:22Speaker 2: no ambiguity. This is a contest between good and evil.
- 11:26Speaker 2: This is a contest between civilization and barbarism.
- 11:35Speaker 3: And that clarity is important.
- 11:38Speaker 2: It's important in Israel, it's important in Europe, it's important
- 11:44Speaker 2: in America. And I'll tell you it's important in the
- 11:47Speaker 2: political sphere. Now listen, this is by design not a
- 11:52Speaker 2: political event, But I will say this October seventh and
- 11:58Speaker 2: each day that followed is an opportun tunity for everyone
- 12:01Speaker 2: holding elected office to.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Make a choice where do you stand?
- 12:13Speaker 2: And everyone in a position of leadership can decide do
- 12:18Speaker 2: you stand with Israel or do you stand with the terrorists?
- 12:26Speaker 2: Well as for me and my house, we will stand
- 12:29Speaker 2: with Israel. That clarity is profoundly important throughout elected offices.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I will tell you in Congress there are too many
- 12:44Speaker 2: of my colleagues that cannot figure out which side of
- 12:49Speaker 2: that divide.
- 12:50Speaker 3: We should stand on.
- 12:54Speaker 2: There are too many of my colleagues whose immediate response
- 12:58Speaker 2: following these horrors, we need a cease fire. Now, I
- 13:05Speaker 2: will tell you. On the night of October seventh, at
- 13:08Speaker 2: three in the morning, the State Department sent out a
- 13:12Speaker 2: tweet from the Office of Palestinian Affairs, and it said
- 13:19Speaker 2: Israel must not respond, there must be no military response whatsoever.
- 13:27Speaker 2: My team and I saw that at three in the morning,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and we responded on Twitter immediately and said this is disgraceful.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Whoever wrote it should be fired and it should be
- 13:38Speaker 2: deleted immediately. Within minutes, the State Department deleted the tweet.
- 13:52Speaker 2: The next day, October eighth, we discovered that the tweet
- 13:57Speaker 2: was not an anomaly sent by some low level staffer,
- 14:02Speaker 2: because Tony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, on October eighth,
- 14:07Speaker 2: sent out a tweet and said, I have just finished
- 14:11Speaker 2: speaking with the Turkish Foreign Minister and we have agreed
- 14:15Speaker 2: that Israel must not retaliate and there must be no
- 14:18Speaker 2: military response whatsoever. Again, I responded and said this is
- 14:23Speaker 2: utterly disgraceful and should be deleted.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Again, they deleted it within minutes.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Every day since then, elected officials have had a choice,
- 14:34Speaker 2: where are you, Who are you? Who do you stand with?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Some have risen to the occasion, and others have not.
- 14:48Speaker 2: There's also been clarity on college campuses. I know that
- 14:55Speaker 2: every one of us here has been utterly horrified that
- 15:00Speaker 2: October seventh has revealed the vicious anti semitism on so
- 15:06Speaker 2: many of our campuses. And I point out to you
- 15:11Speaker 2: that I will use the word revealed on purpose, because
- 15:16Speaker 2: nobody with any sense could possibly maintain that that anti
- 15:20Speaker 2: semitism wasn't there on October sixth, but a whole lot
- 15:25Speaker 2: of people had difficulty seeing it. And we've seen across
- 15:31Speaker 2: our country, we've seen viciously anti Israel, anti Semitic protests,
- 15:41Speaker 2: many of which are unequivocally Prohamas. Columbia University one of
- 15:50Speaker 2: the first places these protests started. It got so bad
- 15:55Speaker 2: that the Orthodox Rabbi at Columbia sent an email to
- 15:59Speaker 2: two hundred seventy Jewish students at Columbia advising the Jews
- 16:03Speaker 2: who are students there, stay home, do not come to class,
- 16:08Speaker 2: do not come to campus, because Columbia University cannot and
- 16:12Speaker 2: will not protect your safety. I got to say that
- 16:19Speaker 2: is utterly and completely disgraceful. If you watch the videos
- 16:26Speaker 2: of those protests, you listen to what they're chanting. Protesters
- 16:31Speaker 2: at Columbia were chanting, among other things, we love Hamas.
- 16:39Speaker 2: To understand the viciousness of it. Some Columbia students were
- 16:48Speaker 2: bravely standing up waiving American flags in Israeli flags Jewish
- 16:53Speaker 2: students who had the courage to face the mob. There
- 17:01Speaker 2: was a picture on Twitter of a woman wearing a mask,
- 17:09Speaker 2: because these protesters are oh so brave. They hide and
- 17:13Speaker 2: are terrified for the world to know who they are.
- 17:17Speaker 2: But she was wearing a mask and holding up a sign,
- 17:20Speaker 2: a cardboard sign that she had hand lettered. The sign
- 17:25Speaker 2: said al Cassam's next targets, with an arrow pointing at
- 17:31Speaker 2: the Jewish students behind her. Al Casam is the military
- 17:35Speaker 2: arm of Hamas. I'm going to tell you something amazing.
- 17:42Speaker 2: The Internet being what it is, the mask did not
- 17:45Speaker 2: serve to hide this young woman's identity. She was not Palestinian.
- 17:54Speaker 2: She was a young blonde girl from Atlanta, Georgia. Those
- 18:00Speaker 2: parents are multi millionaires and they set her off to
- 18:02Speaker 2: the Ivy League to go learn something. And she was
- 18:07Speaker 2: taught that it is perfectly acceptable and even praiseworthy to
- 18:13Speaker 2: call for the murder of your fellow students because they
- 18:16Speaker 2: are Jews. If you don't understand the poison that is
- 18:24Speaker 2: being taught to our students. It was powerfully, powerfully illustrated
- 18:32Speaker 2: the University of Washington. The protesters chanted to Jews, go
- 18:38Speaker 2: back to the ovens.
- 18:43Speaker 3: This is not ambiguous.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And I will tell you I was visiting with a
- 18:46Speaker 2: friend of mine on the left, very successful tech entrepreneur.
- 18:55Speaker 2: He's been a democrat his entire life, and he expressed
- 18:59Speaker 2: from frustration, bewilderment, where is this vicious anti Semitism coming from?
- 19:08Speaker 2: And I told him it is the consequence of the
- 19:10Speaker 2: poison that has been poured into the minds of our
- 19:12Speaker 2: children at so called elite universities now for many years.
- 19:19Speaker 2: This is the fruits of cultural Marxism. This is the
- 19:25Speaker 2: fruits of a leftist ideology that divides the world into
- 19:28Speaker 2: two categories, oppressors and victims. And for the modern day leftists,
- 19:36Speaker 2: they have defined Palestinians as victims.
- 19:42Speaker 3: And Jews as oppressers.
- 19:48Speaker 2: And I want you to note that I didn't say Israelis.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I said Jews, because the target of their enmity is
- 19:55Speaker 2: not just those who live in Israel, but any Jew
- 19:57Speaker 2: anywhere on the face of the planet.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And to the academic Marxist.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Once you have someone defined as an oppressor and as
- 20:08Speaker 2: a victim, our children are taught to favor the violent
- 20:14Speaker 2: revolutionary overthrow by the victims of the so called oppressors,
- 20:19Speaker 2: to cheer on the violence, to celebrate it. If you
- 20:28Speaker 2: don't understand that, take a look on October eighth at
- 20:34Speaker 2: the Chicago chapter of Black Lives Matter that tweeted out
- 20:39Speaker 2: a meme said we stand with Palestine, and in the
- 20:46Speaker 2: meme was an image of a paraglider. Now understand, they
- 20:51Speaker 2: were not saying we think geopolitically, we ought to approach
- 20:54Speaker 2: it to state solution. The paragliders, as you know, is
- 20:59Speaker 2: how the Hamas terrorists came to the music festival to
- 21:04Speaker 2: murder young people. And the Chicago chapter of Black Lives
- 21:10Speaker 2: Matter was not being ambiguous on where they stand. They
- 21:13Speaker 2: stand with Hamas because they were murdering Jews. That clarity
- 21:22Speaker 2: is important. And I will say some commentators have said, well,
- 21:27Speaker 2: it is terrible that this is happening all over the country,
- 21:34Speaker 2: and I have to say, in the interest of accuracy,
- 21:36Speaker 2: that facts matter. It is not happening all over the country.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It is happening in bright blue states where the elected
- 21:50Speaker 2: officials agree with the protesters. It's happening in New York.
- 21:56Speaker 2: It's happening in Pennsylvania. It's happening New Jersey, happening in Illinois.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It's happening in Washington State. It's happening in Connecticut. It's
- 22:04Speaker 2: happening in Massachusetts. It's happening in California. You know where
- 22:09Speaker 2: it's not happening. It's not happening in Florida. You know
- 22:13Speaker 2: where it's not happening. It's not happening in Texas. In Texas,
- 22:16Speaker 2: we saw protesters at the University of Texas and within
- 22:21Speaker 2: hours the police arrived and arrested them.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I talked about clarity.
- 22:29Speaker 2: This is an opportunity for everyone in leadership, every elected official,
- 22:34Speaker 2: every university president, every dean of a faculty, every professor,
- 22:39Speaker 2: to say where you stand. But I'll tell you what
- 22:41Speaker 2: the answer should be, which is that no one has
- 22:44Speaker 2: the right to threaten the safety of another student. And
- 22:47Speaker 2: if you threaten an harass another student because they are Jewish,
- 22:52Speaker 2: you should be arrested, you should be prosecuted, you should
- 22:55Speaker 2: be expelled, and if you're a foreign student, you should
- 22:58Speaker 2: be deported.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I want to take a moment to talk about sathing
- 23:02Speaker 1: that's incredibly important, and that is this, do you have
- 23:05Speaker 1: a firearm? Do you carry a firearm? Well, are you
- 23:09Speaker 1: protected if you ever have to use that firearm. I
- 23:12Speaker 1: asked that question because I know exactly what happens when
- 23:16Speaker 1: you're involved in a shooting. I had to use my
- 23:18Speaker 1: firearm to save my life, and I can tell you
- 23:22Speaker 1: the way that I was treated after I use that
- 23:24Speaker 1: firearm was like, maybe I was a criminal, Maybe I
- 23:27Speaker 1: was a murderer. Now, thankfully the system worked the way
- 23:30Speaker 1: it was supposed to, but it doesn't always work that way,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and you may need real legal defense, and that is
- 23:37Speaker 1: where delta defense comes in. Everyone thinks they're keeping their
- 23:42Speaker 1: family safe, but are you really And that's the question
- 23:45Speaker 1: you have to ask yourself when it comes to our
- 23:47Speaker 1: twisted legal system and DA's that have become activists that
- 23:52Speaker 1: like to let criminals walk free, and they do not
- 23:55Speaker 1: like Second Amendment advocates gun unners like yourself, and that
- 24:00Speaker 1: is where things have changed. You have the risk of
- 24:03Speaker 1: losing everything if you actually protect yourself with your Second
- 24:07Speaker 1: Amendment rights, and that is exactly why there are eight
- 24:12Speaker 1: hundred thousand Americans that are members of the USCCA because
- 24:17Speaker 1: not only will they get you access to their Protector
- 24:20Speaker 1: Academy to learn vital skills like precision shooting and how
- 24:24Speaker 1: to fortify your home against criminals, but you also get
- 24:27Speaker 1: access to the twenty four to seven Critical Response Team
- 24:31Speaker 1: and the included benefits of self defense Liability insurance to
- 24:37Speaker 1: make sure you and your family are prepared for anything.
- 24:40Speaker 1: And for a limited time, text the word America to
- 24:44Speaker 1: eight seven two two two. That's eight seven two two two.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Text the word America and get the uscca's free Life Saving,
- 24:56Speaker 1: Concealed Carry and Family Defense Guide and a chance to
- 25:00Speaker 1: seventeen hundred dollars to buy any self defense gear you
- 25:04Speaker 1: need before it's two eight. Texta word America right now
- 25:07Speaker 1: to eight seven two two two right now.
- 25:13Speaker 2: At MIT, Jewish students reported that they were afraid to
- 25:17Speaker 2: go to class because of threats of violence. The president
- 25:22Speaker 2: of MIT said, well, we cannot discipline the people threatening
- 25:26Speaker 2: the Jewish students because if we discipline them, they'll lose
- 25:31Speaker 2: their student visa and be deported. You need to understand
- 25:38Speaker 2: the ideological rot.
- 25:43Speaker 3: That has infused so much of.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Our elite academy. And by the way, it's been a
- 25:52Speaker 2: year since October seventh, have you noticed the protests on
- 25:59Speaker 2: the campus. They're not springing up organically, They're not spontaneous.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Am I the only one who's noticed that the tents
- 26:09Speaker 2: all match? There is real money funding these anti Israel,
- 26:17Speaker 2: anti Semitic, anti American protests, and that money is coming
- 26:23Speaker 2: from Iran, That money is coming from Cutter, and that
- 26:28Speaker 2: money is coming from prominent leftists in this country who
- 26:34Speaker 2: are also funding prominent politicians in this country. I want
- 26:41Speaker 2: to ask you, in a year, has there been a
- 26:46Speaker 2: single investigation by the Department of Justice or the FBI
- 26:50Speaker 2: to follow the money. Under Title six of our Civil
- 26:55Speaker 2: Rights Law, a university cannot create an environ that is
- 27:00Speaker 2: threatening to the safety of a student based on race
- 27:03Speaker 2: or ethnicity. Has there been a single university in America
- 27:11Speaker 2: who's had their federal funding cut off because they refused
- 27:15Speaker 2: to protect Jewish students on campus? Answers, No, not one.
- 27:22Speaker 2: That's not an accident. We need a Department of Justice
- 27:31Speaker 2: that stands with our students.
- 27:35Speaker 3: By the way, I.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Will note the protesters that were arrested in the University
- 27:40Speaker 2: of Texas, roughly half of them had no connection to
- 27:43Speaker 2: ut They weren't students there. They just came in to
- 27:51Speaker 2: agitate and threatened violence. The same was true at Columbia,
- 27:57Speaker 2: the same was true at fordom that when people have
- 27:59Speaker 2: been arrested, about half of them are either radical Islamist
- 28:05Speaker 2: or Marxists or just anti American.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Paid violent thugs.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Clarity matters, and by the way, I will say that
- 28:22Speaker 2: clarity is not entirely delineated on partisan bases. I will
- 28:28Speaker 2: say one of the most astonishing things to me has
- 28:31Speaker 2: been the courage my colleague John Fetterman has shown on
- 28:34Speaker 2: this topic. I'll confess when Senator Fetterman was elected from Pennsylvania,
- 28:43Speaker 2: I had no reason to anticipate that he would show
- 28:46Speaker 2: that kind of courage. But he has been astonishing. And
- 28:52Speaker 2: I will say when giving a commencement address, when he
- 28:56Speaker 2: removed his hood from Harvard University as a fellow Harvard grad,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I was proud that he was willing to stand up
- 29:07Speaker 2: to the shameful behavior of his and mi alma mater.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Clarity is an opportunity for everyone on each and every
- 29:19Speaker 2: day to decide where do I stand. There is a
- 29:23Speaker 2: second enormously beneficial outcome of the horror and evil that
- 29:30Speaker 2: was October seventh, which is that Israel has stated its
- 29:35Speaker 2: commitment to utterly and completely eliminate Hamas and now eliminate Hesbelah.
- 29:48Speaker 2: And I have to say, eliminating Hamas and eliminating Hesbela
- 29:53Speaker 2: is unquestionably in the national security interest of Israel and
- 29:57Speaker 2: unquestionably in the national security in interest of America, and
- 30:06Speaker 2: US policy should very simply be we stand unequivocally with
- 30:11Speaker 2: Israel for as long as it takes. I listened to
- 30:21Speaker 2: colleagues of mine in the Senate, in the House for
- 30:26Speaker 2: their only response to what happens at Israel is we
- 30:29Speaker 2: need a cease fire.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Now.
- 30:34Speaker 2: What is it that leads American politicians to say our
- 30:38Speaker 2: view should be please, please, please stop killing the terrorists.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 30:46Speaker 2: When I got on Southwest Airlines this morning and flew
- 30:49Speaker 2: from Houston to Dallas to come here today, a woman
- 30:52Speaker 2: standing in the line came up to me and said, please,
- 30:54Speaker 2: we need to cease fire now on the one year
- 30:59Speaker 2: and of nursery of October seventh. I'll tell you, month
- 31:07Speaker 2: after month after month, every Saturday morning at seven am,
- 31:11Speaker 2: I had anti Israel, antisemitic protesters in my front lawn, screaming, yelling,
- 31:18Speaker 2: ringing cowbells, blowing whistles, screaming expletives at the top of
- 31:24Speaker 2: their lungs, waking up my daughters, waking up my neighbors
- 31:30Speaker 2: and their young children, week after week after week. And
- 31:37Speaker 2: I'll tell you when I encounter, as I do with
- 31:40Speaker 2: some regularity, people on airplanes who will yell at me,
- 31:46Speaker 2: we need to cease fire now, and I ask them, really,
- 31:50Speaker 2: tell me, why is it that you side with genocidal
- 31:54Speaker 2: maniacs carrying out Nazi ends? How do you look at
- 31:59Speaker 2: what happened and say the murderers and rapists are the
- 32:04Speaker 2: ones we stand with. But part of it is a
- 32:08Speaker 2: lot of people are lied to. They don't know the
- 32:10Speaker 2: truth they are being told. The victims, in our definition
- 32:16Speaker 2: are the good and the oppressors are the evil. That's
- 32:21Speaker 2: why that clarity needs to continue. I will say, if
- 32:26Speaker 2: you look at Israel's distribution of pagers, I've got to
- 32:44Speaker 2: say that is one of the most extraordinary intelligence and
- 32:47Speaker 2: military operations I have ever seen when I saw it
- 32:57Speaker 2: on the news. When I read about it, it read
- 33:00Speaker 2: like a James Bond novel. If I don't know if
- 33:06Speaker 2: any of y'all are fans of the show, Fouta Fouda
- 33:08Speaker 2: is phenomenal. If you tried to write it in a
- 33:13Speaker 2: plot of Fouta, they wouldn't publish it because they would
- 33:15Speaker 2: have said, this is ridiculous. And I will say what
- 33:24Speaker 2: is what was truly elegant about it is the people
- 33:31Speaker 2: who received the pagers were decided by the leadership of Hesbela.
- 33:41Speaker 2: The leaders of Hesbela said, all right, you are enough
- 33:44Speaker 2: of a genocidal murderer that I want you on page.
- 33:49Speaker 2: They selected every person.
- 33:56Speaker 3: And then they got their page.
- 34:10Speaker 2: And then a few days later they said, let's go
- 34:12Speaker 2: to walkie talkies, and the walkie talkies blew up. And
- 34:20Speaker 2: then at the head of hesbel has said, let's go
- 34:22Speaker 2: to a basement bunker and meet in person. And then
- 34:25Speaker 2: the basement bunker blew up. And if you want to
- 34:34Speaker 2: understand where someone stands, look to their reaction to that.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Let me tell you, I think it is beautiful that
- 34:42Speaker 2: psychopathic terrorists are terrified now to pick up the phone
- 34:46Speaker 2: and pick up the pager and go meet with another terrorist.
- 34:55Speaker 2: That is unequivocally good for Israel. In America, we are
- 35:03Speaker 2: saying forces across the globe arrayed against the people of Israel.
- 35:09Speaker 2: And I will tell you in particular, if you want
- 35:14Speaker 2: to prevent another October seventh, if you want to save
- 35:19Speaker 2: innocent lives in Israel and America, then you've got to
- 35:26Speaker 2: start by focusing on the nation of Iran.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Iran is the head of the stake.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I will say, in the last four years, the US
- 35:42Speaker 2: government has funneled over one hundred billion dollars to Iran.
- 35:53Speaker 2: We all know about the six billion that got the
- 35:55Speaker 2: most attention. That was six billion in ransom for five Americans,
- 36:00Speaker 2: and many others at the time said that's a terrible policy.
- 36:03Speaker 2: It will only encourage more Americans to be taken hostage.
- 36:07Speaker 2: It effectively puts a bounty of one point two billion
- 36:10Speaker 2: per hostage. Tragically, when we said that, I didn't realize
- 36:14Speaker 2: it would be just a couple of months before we
- 36:16Speaker 2: would see more Americans taken hostage. Some of you may
- 36:21Speaker 2: also know about the ten billion in funds that were
- 36:23Speaker 2: frozen in Iraq from electricity receipts that the administration unfroze
- 36:28Speaker 2: to flow to Iran. Both of those, however, pale in
- 36:34Speaker 2: comparison to the real source of revenue. Iran derives the
- 36:41Speaker 2: bulk of its revenue from oil and gas sales. When
- 36:46Speaker 2: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris came into office four years ago.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Iran was at the time selling roughly three hundred thousand
- 36:55Speaker 2: barrels of oil a day. That was a consequence of
- 37:00Speaker 2: the previous administration vigorously enforcing oil sanctions. I had spent
- 37:07Speaker 2: hundreds of hours urging President Trump to vigorously enforce oil
- 37:11Speaker 2: sanctions on Iran. He did so, and their oil sales
- 37:15Speaker 2: plummeted from a million barrels a day to three hundred
- 37:18Speaker 2: thousand in January of twenty twenty one. The Iranian economy
- 37:24Speaker 2: was in shambles, the Iranian regime was teetering and near collapse,
- 37:32Speaker 2: and the current administration came in and immediately stopped enforcing
- 37:36Speaker 2: those oil sanctions. What are the consequences of that? Iran's
- 37:42Speaker 2: oil sales went from three hundred thousand barrels a day
- 37:44Speaker 2: where they were in January of twenty twenty one.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Do you know what they are today?
- 37:49Speaker 2: Roughly two million barrels of oil a day, primarily sold
- 37:57Speaker 2: to communist China. What is the delta between three hundred
- 38:02Speaker 2: thousand barrels a day and two million barrels a day?
- 38:05Speaker 2: It is more than eighty billion dollars that came in
- 38:12Speaker 2: like a lifeline to save the regime. I told you
- 38:19Speaker 2: this is a battle between good and evil. The Ayatola
- 38:22Speaker 2: Kamehni is unambiguously evil. He leads mobs in chants of
- 38:30Speaker 2: death to Israel and death to America. Now, if history
- 38:36Speaker 2: teaches anything it is that when somebody tells you they
- 38:39Speaker 2: want to kill you believe them. And you need to
- 38:45Speaker 2: understand this is not just a threat to Israel. There
- 38:51Speaker 2: is a reason the Ayahtola refers to Israel as the
- 38:55Speaker 2: little Satan and America is the great Satan. The enemies
- 39:01Speaker 2: of Israel are enemies of America. Those who hate Jews
- 39:06Speaker 2: hate Christians. And I have to say, if any sanity
- 39:15Speaker 2: comes from the aftermath of October seventh, it is that
- 39:22Speaker 2: we should agree to come together and cut off all
- 39:26Speaker 2: of the funds for Iran. Two statistics that are important
- 39:40Speaker 2: to know. Over ninety percent of the funding for Hamas
- 39:46Speaker 2: comes from Iran. Over ninety percent of the funding for
- 39:52Speaker 2: Hesbola comes from Iran. If you are giving one hundred
- 40:00Speaker 2: million dollars to Iran, you are giving the money to
- 40:05Speaker 2: the terrorists who are committing these atrocities. I got to say,
- 40:11Speaker 2: regardless of your politics, it should not be a complicated
- 40:16Speaker 2: proposition to say, do not give money to people who
- 40:22Speaker 2: want to murder you. And yet somehow in Washington that's
- 40:26Speaker 2: deemed a controversial statement. Look, I want to thank all
- 40:31Speaker 2: of y'all for being here. I want to thank the
- 40:33Speaker 2: unity we see. It's easy if you look at the
- 40:37Speaker 2: viciousness on a campus to think that's where America is.
- 40:42Speaker 2: And one message, I'm glad we have reporters here. I'm
- 40:47Speaker 2: glad we have TV cameras here. If there's one message
- 40:49Speaker 2: that I want people to hear, it's that the people
- 40:53Speaker 2: of Texas stand with the State of Israel, and the
- 40:59Speaker 2: people of a Maria, Erica stand with the State of Israel.
- 41:04Speaker 3: May justice prevail, May Israel prevail.
- 41:08Speaker 2: May God continue to bless the people of Israel and
- 41:11Speaker 2: the people of America, and may God's mercy and blessings
- 41:15Speaker 2: be upon all of us.
- 41:17Speaker 1: We're spending a lot of time talking about obviously protecting
- 41:20Speaker 1: women and especially young girls going to school, and I
- 41:25Speaker 1: want you to know about BURNA because I have bought
- 41:29Speaker 1: this less lethal option that can help protect you. For
- 41:33Speaker 1: virtually every single woman that is in my family, whether
- 41:37Speaker 1: it's my mother in law or my mom, or my sister,
- 41:40Speaker 1: or my wife or my sister in law. They all
- 41:43Speaker 1: now have a BURNA. Why Because burna is a less
- 41:48Speaker 1: lethal option to protect and defend yourself and de escalate
- 41:52Speaker 1: a situation without the irreversible consequences of deadly force. The
- 41:56Speaker 1: question is, look, sometimes you have to use deadly force.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I understand that I had to use my firearm to
- 42:02Speaker 1: save my life one night, but I also understand that
- 42:05Speaker 1: there are options and moments where less lethal can save
- 42:09Speaker 1: someone else's life and maybe even yours. Don't compromise on
- 42:13Speaker 1: your peace of mind. And that is where the BURNO,
- 42:16Speaker 1: less lethal pistol launcher comes in. A burner can save,
- 42:19Speaker 1: like I said, two lives. It is a great compliment
- 42:22Speaker 1: to owning a firearm. And if you have a student,
- 42:26Speaker 1: a college student, someone who's eighteen or older, maybe they're
- 42:29Speaker 1: not allowed to have a firearm on campus, maybe they're
- 42:33Speaker 1: not allowed to have a firearm where you go to work.
- 42:35Speaker 1: This is another great option. It is legal in all
- 42:38Speaker 1: fifty states, no permits or background checks are needed. I
- 42:42Speaker 1: own these myself and they're great for family members. Berna
- 42:46Speaker 1: is the answer and is designed for easy use by
- 42:49Speaker 1: all age groups eighteen and older. The Burner Launcher has
- 42:52Speaker 1: powerful deterrence that it shoots like tear gas in kinetic
- 42:56Speaker 1: rounds with a sixty foot range, putting more range between
- 43:00Speaker 1: you and an attacker then you can ever imagine if
- 43:03Speaker 1: you're using mace or a taser. That's the other reason
- 43:06Speaker 1: why I love the Burner Launcher. It is powerful. One
- 43:10Speaker 1: shot can incapacitate an attacker for up to forty minutes.
- 43:13Speaker 1: It's used by government agencies and law enforcement around the
- 43:17Speaker 1: country as well, and more than five hundred thousand units
- 43:20Speaker 1: have been sold. That's pretty amazing. Now I want you
- 43:23Speaker 1: to check out burnout. Go to by RNA dot com
- 43:27Speaker 1: slash verdict. That's by RNA dot com slash verdict. You're
- 43:33Speaker 1: gonna get ten percent off your purchase. So if you

- 43:40Speaker 1: if you have women in your life that maybe don't
- 43:43Speaker 1: feel comfortable with a firearm or cannot carry a firearm somewhere,
- 43:47Speaker 1: that is another reason why you should go to Burner
- 43:49Speaker 1: by RNA dot com slash verdict and get ten percent off.
- 43:53Speaker 1: That's by r NA dot com slash verdict. Don't forget
