- 0:20Speaker 1: good it sting together. Please, I don't join jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turn hur you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come, come on your thing.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shall well a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, this one today.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I want to share with you. It is for all
- 2:17Speaker 1: of us, and here it is. There is a solution
- 2:25Speaker 1: to all of your problems in situations. If you don't
- 2:30Speaker 1: know what your next move is, that to go, I
- 2:34Speaker 1: don't I don't care what it is. If if the
- 2:36Speaker 1: relationship you're in it's all wrong and you don't know
- 2:41Speaker 1: how to get out of it, it doesn't matter. There's
- 2:45Speaker 1: a solution to all your problems and situations, that solution
- 2:52Speaker 1: to all your problems, that way to make all your
- 2:54Speaker 1: dreams come true, the way around a lot of this
- 2:59Speaker 1: and to the weakness that you feel at times. It's prayer, prayer,
- 3:06Speaker 1: a connection with your creative Could that be the thing
- 3:11Speaker 1: that's missing in your life. I'm just asking because whenever
- 3:16Speaker 1: I get a little bit off track, all I gotta
- 3:20Speaker 1: do is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been
- 3:25Speaker 1: have you been praying? Man? Have you been connecting with
- 3:28Speaker 1: your creator? I know you're busy, man, I know you're busy,
- 3:32Speaker 1: and I know at the end of the day you're done.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You're done, and sometimes crawling into bed is all you
- 3:38Speaker 1: can manage to do. I've said this, it happened to
- 3:42Speaker 1: me last night. Again. I did all of this. But
- 3:46Speaker 1: when I look and when I see things not moving,
- 3:50Speaker 1: or I don't feel like things are going in the
- 3:53Speaker 1: right direction, or I have a sense of being stagnant,
- 3:56Speaker 1: all I got to do is retrace it. Because I'm working.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's no doubt about that. I'm working. But I'm i
- 4:05Speaker 1: staying connected. Am I using that weapon that's available to
- 4:09Speaker 1: all of us? And I pray? And the answer is
- 4:12Speaker 1: usually no? And so I know, okay, okay, man, I'm
- 4:16Speaker 1: getting off track him because see, let me tell you something, man.
- 4:19Speaker 1: The reason the reason I constantly talk to God is
- 4:24Speaker 1: because life constantly changes. People who said they was going
- 4:28Speaker 1: to do something for you one day have changed their mind.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The next somebody you thought was gonna show up that
- 4:35Speaker 1: day called in late, had an accident and couldn't make it.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That changes the parameters of everything. The meeting you had
- 4:44Speaker 1: set up that had to be canceled because somebody was ill,
- 4:48Speaker 1: That changes the parameters the time frame of everything. Because
- 4:52Speaker 1: it's all connected. So if I don't stay in constant
- 4:56Speaker 1: prayer and stay connected to the Creator when this thing happened,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm not put in my bed, I've not talked to
- 5:04Speaker 1: him about how to handle it, or I'm just not
- 5:06Speaker 1: aware of it and what to do next. And the
- 5:09Speaker 1: next thing you know, it becomes a little stagnant that
- 5:11Speaker 1: has happened to me. I gotta get back because prayer
- 5:17Speaker 1: is the solution to all of my problems and situations.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I have found that to be the case now. The
- 5:24Speaker 1: only reason I'm telling it to you is because I
- 5:26Speaker 1: know if you anything like me slash human being, then
- 5:31Speaker 1: there are times that you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You have moments of uncertainty. That are times when you
- 5:40Speaker 1: feel like you've lost your way or your purpose is
- 5:45Speaker 1: a little blurred. You're not show anymore. Or you don't
- 5:49Speaker 1: know what your next move is, or the relationship you
- 5:51Speaker 1: in or the relationships you're dabbling in. They're just all
- 5:55Speaker 1: wrong for you. Man, there is a solution to all
- 6:01Speaker 1: your problems and situations, and its prayer. If you're suffering
- 6:06Speaker 1: from any of the things I just listed, or any
- 6:08Speaker 1: other thing you could think of, just check your prayer.
- 6:11Speaker 1: What has your prayer been lately? About it? And this
- 6:15Speaker 1: is for everybody. I often find when I get that disconnection, man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: my prayer and slipped off. I started feeling a little
- 6:26Speaker 1: bit less, so I gotta jump back on it. I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: just offering you a solution to it. Man, and and
- 6:32Speaker 1: and and and I'm giving you a solution that works
- 6:34Speaker 1: one of a thousand percent. Fust shout see. I ain't
- 6:39Speaker 1: guessing at this one. I'm telling you what has happened
- 6:42Speaker 1: in my life, how I did it, and it'll do
- 6:45Speaker 1: for you. God has filled with mercy and grace. He
- 6:49Speaker 1: knows we all messed up. He knows all of us
- 6:52Speaker 1: have done some jacked up things that don't nobody know about.
- 6:55Speaker 1: He know all about our past. Man, he know all
- 6:59Speaker 1: of that. But He is so full of grace and mercy,
- 7:03Speaker 1: so full of fifty fifth chances. But you know the
- 7:07Speaker 1: thing about your life though, and the thing I had
- 7:10Speaker 1: to come to terms with, and the reason I don't
- 7:12Speaker 1: let out of the reason I don't let my past
- 7:15Speaker 1: bury me, the reason I don't let my past define
- 7:18Speaker 1: me is because my past I found out or just
- 7:24Speaker 1: the ingredients needed for me to make this cake I'm
- 7:31Speaker 1: eating now. My past is just my ingredients. See, you
- 7:37Speaker 1: don't get rid of your pass. They ain't gonna where
- 7:42Speaker 1: they are the ingredients, but when you put them with
- 7:44Speaker 1: something else, they look better, they taste better, it is better.
- 7:50Speaker 1: All of our past are just the ingredients that have
- 7:53Speaker 1: become the cake we eating now. Now, if you don't
- 7:56Speaker 1: like the way your cake tastes, then you gotta stop
- 7:58Speaker 1: putting some other ingredients in there. Just because you started
- 8:02Speaker 1: off and your cake was messed up don't mean you
- 8:05Speaker 1: can't straighten out the flavor of your cake. You gotta
- 8:07Speaker 1: put some different ingredients in there. So let's say your
- 8:12Speaker 1: cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake is bitter, Well,
- 8:16Speaker 1: you got to dilute the bitterness. You gotta put some
- 8:19Speaker 1: more goodness in there. So you gotta put some goodness
- 8:22Speaker 1: ingredients to take away the taste of the bitterness. So
- 8:28Speaker 1: you gotta put some different ingredients in there. You gotta
- 8:30Speaker 1: start living your life a little more kindly, a little
- 8:33Speaker 1: more thoughtful, a little more sharing, a little more caring.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And then after a while, man, those new ingredients combined
- 8:40Speaker 1: with that bitter it starts overshadowing the bitter taste because
- 8:44Speaker 1: the bitter taste is further behind you. Now see something
- 8:48Speaker 1: that happened to you twelve fifteen, thirty, twenty five, sixteen
- 8:52Speaker 1: years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's in
- 8:55Speaker 1: your mouth now less you let it be. It's the ingredients. Man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: If you're sick, it away your cake taste and change
- 9:04Speaker 1: your ingredients. Put something else in your cake mix so
- 9:09Speaker 1: you can get a better taste. If you don't like
- 9:13Speaker 1: the way your life taste. Pray. I've been here my
- 9:16Speaker 1: mama saying for years. Boy, prayer changes things, don't My mama,
- 9:21Speaker 1: you said to me all the time. I said to
- 9:23Speaker 1: my TV artist, is when they come see me on
- 9:25Speaker 1: the talk show, before I walk on stage, I tell
- 9:28Speaker 1: them these words, my mother said, I said. My mother
- 9:31Speaker 1: used to always tell me this, and it's bailed me out,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and it might do the same thing for you. I
- 9:37Speaker 1: say whatever I get in trouble, I hear her words.
- 9:40Speaker 1: She says, son, don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 9:44Speaker 1: to pray, and don't be too proud to pray, because prayer,
- 9:49Speaker 1: prayer changes things and you better believe something. It one
- 9:54Speaker 1: hundred percent showed. Do you're listening tow ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: get your mind right, wrap it up, getting situated. You
- 10:07Speaker 1: know what it is. It's morning. It's time for gratitude.
- 10:11Speaker 1: That will affect your attitude, that will determine your altitude.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It all rhymes because it goes together. Gratitude, attitude, altitude.

- 14:14Speaker 1: word that we we are temptations hateation. In this situation,
- 14:31Speaker 1: we are here to darn ourselves to the quiet or
- 14:35Speaker 1: not quiet? What one of us saying we are here
- 14:38Speaker 1: to darn ourselves from the complaints of this congregation of
- 14:42Speaker 1: ungratuitiveness as we measure ourselves against the holy improsities of tartness.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Go ahead before start preaching. Yeah, all right, all right,
- 15:00Speaker 1: we got an issue. Brother Willie Samuels says gas is
- 15:04Speaker 1: too high and he had to let his caba go.
- 15:09Speaker 1: He's been seen watching TV at the gas pump since
- 15:13Speaker 1: his cable is off, and he's asking if the church
- 15:18Speaker 1: can carry his cable back on. But you'll passed by
- 15:21Speaker 1: at night and he's sitting out there at the pump
- 15:23Speaker 1: watching TV because he can't get his cable was completely
- 15:25Speaker 1: no back. He's come up with a wonderful idea. I
- 15:33Speaker 1: think he solved his problem. So quadrag us into it. Great.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You know, we need more church members with this type
- 15:42Speaker 1: of engenuity watching TV at the pump. Talk about killing
- 15:49Speaker 1: two birds with one stone. What the money guard? We
- 15:56Speaker 1: should a man knew it to go ahead, brother with
- 16:01Speaker 1: it all right, sister read the manual. Now listening to
- 16:07Speaker 1: this pastor. She came to the church land stairs and
- 16:09Speaker 1: asking could she go in there, uh and pray in
- 16:12Speaker 1: the sanctuary. Nah. She went in there and prayed and
- 16:16Speaker 1: asked the Lord to make all side pieces disappear. While
- 16:22Speaker 1: she was praying, she vanished in mid al. Pastor, Please,
- 16:28Speaker 1: we can't alive this prayer to happen again, Padder. We
- 16:32Speaker 1: cannot because people don't know who they are. And but

- 16:49Speaker 1: dig two, cause one gonna be for you. Whoa she
- 16:58Speaker 1: was praying to read the world other side piece, not
- 17:03Speaker 1: realizing that she horse was a piece on the side.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Or you might have been the chicken, but you were
- 17:18Speaker 1: a love chicken cook. Look see you you you want
- 17:24Speaker 1: to refer to sides as slow pater sat greeds, But
- 17:34Speaker 1: when you discover that the other side is the other
- 17:39Speaker 1: piece of chicken that's on the other side of the plate.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Cause you a side don't mean you a vegetable. Sometimes
- 17:49Speaker 1: a side it's just another piece of meat pushed over
- 17:53Speaker 1: on the other side of the plate. For low. You
- 17:58Speaker 1: don't hear me, I'm preaching the day. Let me start
- 18:03Speaker 1: our past amen. That's right there. That's the message, sermons,

- 21:32Speaker 1: got a room at a hotel by the airport and
- 21:34Speaker 1: stayed overnight together. Her shirt ended up in my bag
- 21:40Speaker 1: by mistake. I didn't find it, my wife did. I'm
- 21:43Speaker 1: not a convincing liar, so I pretended to get angry.
- 21:47Speaker 1: What can I tell her? Okay, boy, let me first

- 22:00Speaker 1: How do you bringing evidence to your house and hush

- 22:13Speaker 1: your shirt is a shirt, and no way around the blow.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I didn't find it, my wife found it. Now, I'm
- 22:24Speaker 1: not a convincing lie where your ass is dead? But
- 22:29Speaker 1: help him out? What can he tell us? What did
- 22:32Speaker 1: he tell her? He got mad? What can he tell us? Yeah?
- 22:37Speaker 1: I can tell a lot of things. Best I could
- 22:41Speaker 1: tell you At this point, I don't know how in
- 22:47Speaker 1: the hell these maids then bought somebody's laundry into my
- 22:54Speaker 1: damn room and now it's in this bag. How else

- 23:42Speaker 1: in a play. I just wanted to surprise you. This
- 23:45Speaker 1: is part of my uniform, this part of my constant.
- 23:47Speaker 1: That's what this is. This ain't I'm in a play.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It's coming out the next year. Sometimes we didn't rehearsal,
- 23:53Speaker 1: that's all. Yeah, yeah, play. You don't even go to church.
- 24:01Speaker 1: So the sloppy packing that he did her, that's how
- 24:05Speaker 1: the blouse got in there to slopping. That's why you're
- 24:08Speaker 1: mad at his packing. You know, I'm mad well the package. Yes,
- 24:15Speaker 1: first of all, dog together in the hotel. Y'all just
- 24:18Speaker 1: met on a plane. What uh do you got to
- 24:24Speaker 1: do some type of background research? So this is this

- 24:35Speaker 1: just dumb. All right, Here we go, Anna and Atlanta says,
- 24:40Speaker 1: we have new neighbors, and my husband and I think
- 24:43Speaker 1: they're swingers. They have a lot of company that stays
- 24:46Speaker 1: at their house all night on the weekends, and we
- 24:48Speaker 1: figured either they're swingers or renting out room. We don't
- 24:52Speaker 1: like the extra traffic in our neighborhood, So do we
- 24:56Speaker 1: have the right to ask what they're up to? Hell? No,
- 25:00Speaker 1: that ain't your house, That ain't your business, That ain't
- 25:03Speaker 1: your man. You ain't his women have who they want
- 25:07Speaker 1: at their house? Strong with you? Just those the ass
- 25:16Speaker 1: neighborhood watch let me pay so No, forget the extra
- 25:26Speaker 1: traffic in the neighborhood and all that. Just forget everything out.
- 25:29Speaker 1: What are they talking about? Extra chest? Some people spend
- 25:31Speaker 1: the night at their house all the time. They can
- 25:33Speaker 1: do what they want to do. They ain't disturbing the peace.
- 25:36Speaker 1: They ain't in your y'all. Da ain't throwing trash in

- 30:54Speaker 1: that nobody wants to steal nobody else's problem. So nonetheless,
- 30:58Speaker 1: I love you guys. Sounds just like Mini. So in
- 31:03Speaker 1: other words, she's not a husband's steel husband's steelers. She's
- 31:07Speaker 1: you know, she's saying, that's a lot going on in
- 31:08Speaker 1: the world. I'm not doing this. Yeah, and this is
- 31:12Speaker 1: the same thing that happened to Fantasia when she met
- 31:15Speaker 1: and started dating her husband. Fantasia won that case. The
- 31:19Speaker 1: lawsuit is legal in the state of North Carolina, where um,
- 31:23Speaker 1: this woman's husband is from. So that's why the woman
- 31:25Speaker 1: sued because it's legal. You can do this. Oh, because
- 31:29Speaker 1: Nini lives in Georgia, but this woman is from is
- 31:32Speaker 1: from North Carolina. Steve who sad pieces in North Carolina state,

- 32:07Speaker 1: is being called out by critics who feel her newly
- 32:10Speaker 1: announced skincare line, Skin by Kim is very, very similar
- 32:14Speaker 1: to the line of skincare that Laurie Harvey launched last year.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Now skin by LH Okay skin by LH, that's what
- 32:22Speaker 1: Laurie's skin line is called. Kim Ka's nine Step product
- 32:27Speaker 1: line is set to drop on June twenty first, eight
- 32:30Speaker 1: months after Laurie debut her five step system. Though the
- 32:34Speaker 1: color palettes of the packaging differ, Kardashian opted for her
- 32:39Speaker 1: go to neutral hue, while harvey set is a bright
- 32:43Speaker 1: teal color. Fans feel the actual packaging of the products
- 32:46Speaker 1: bear strong resemblance. Both of the skincare lines come and
- 32:50Speaker 1: sleek cylinder bottles of varying varying sizes and short round jars.
- 32:56Speaker 1: So skin by LH and Skin by Kim that's where
- 33:01Speaker 1: the problem is. SKM by l H m H. Yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I'm team sk we who we get it all the
- 33:11Speaker 1: way we all should be and you know probably legal matter.

- 33:22Speaker 1: around her, so you know, she's got a lawyer, so
- 33:26Speaker 1: it'll be handled, all right. Moving on to this story.
- 33:29Speaker 1: According to for let's not run over that. Let's not
- 33:32Speaker 1: run Do we need whooping about the ass? Were good?
- 33:34Speaker 1: You needn't, but we ain't just running over to see no,
- 33:40Speaker 1: see time me your cousin in good shape. I'm here
- 33:44Speaker 1: for the other side, for the other side. Lawyers. If yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: they don't fix it, dark car. If they don't fix it, though,
- 33:55Speaker 1: the lawyers not fix it, don't at least somebody gonna
- 34:00Speaker 1: if they don't feax there in the court of Tommy. Oh,
- 34:05Speaker 1: come on, judge, get your nephew. All right, let's get
- 34:09Speaker 1: to this story quickly. According to Forbes magazine, thirty seven
- 34:12Speaker 1: year old Lebron James is now the first active NBA
- 34:16Speaker 1: player to become a billionaire, that is, billionaire with a
- 34:20Speaker 1: bat with an estimated net worth of one billion dollars,
- 34:24Speaker 1: he made it. The only other NBA baller billionaire is
- 34:27Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, who joined the billionaire club after his NBA career.
- 34:31Speaker 1: During his NBA career, Lebron has generated more than three
- 34:36Speaker 1: hundred and eighty five million dollars in income, being the
- 34:39Speaker 1: league's highest paid active player. CBS News reports that Lebron
- 34:43Speaker 1: has a minority stake in Liverpool of the Premier League,
- 34:46Speaker 1: bringing in ninety million dollars as an investor. Some of
- 34:49Speaker 1: Lebron's assets include three properties worth an estimated eighty million,
- 34:54Speaker 1: and he's also invested one million in the Blaze pizza chain.
- 34:58Speaker 1: King Jabulation Lebron. Yeah that strong, Yeah, it actually playing. Yeah,
- 35:08Speaker 1: so congratulations that strong, Yeah it is. It is coming
- 35:12Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Well, Steve, you
- 35:14Speaker 1: had an exciting big weekend with your frat brothers at
- 35:19Speaker 1: your brand new ranch. Can we talk about that? You're
- 35:22Speaker 1: supposed to say, yes we can. That was your cue?
- 35:28Speaker 1: What'd you talk about it? Right? We'll talk about it
- 35:36Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to all Right, So, Steve,
- 35:42Speaker 1: I don't know, you've kind of been out of it,
- 35:45Speaker 1: you know, out of the loop a little bit over
- 35:47Speaker 1: the weekend. Uh, it's been out that Laurie and Michael b.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Jordan have broken up. Um, did you hear about it?
- 35:55Speaker 1: Did you know about it before. We told you what's
- 35:58Speaker 1: the deal it's turned to and how it is? Yeah,
- 36:01Speaker 1: what's happening? You want to talk about it? Yeah, we
- 36:05Speaker 1: can talk about Okay, So what's going on right now? Yeah?
- 36:10Speaker 1: I feel fine. I'm fine. Ain't changing my life now.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I still got to go to work. I still got
- 36:20Speaker 1: to turn the corners. Still gotta take care of my family.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I still got to keep putting his money. Soide of
- 36:26Speaker 1: these grandkids. That's the trouble I'm troubling with right there. Wise,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I'm taking care of the grandkid. What did the parents do?
- 36:31Speaker 1: I didn't take care of the parents. Now I gotta
- 36:33Speaker 1: take care of the grandkids. Who said, oh no, man,
- 36:39Speaker 1: I've heard about it. You know well, you know, I
- 36:42Speaker 1: mean I'm team Laurie. So I mean I'm team Laurie
- 36:45Speaker 1: one thousand percent. You know my daughter, I love him,
- 36:49Speaker 1: I support him. You know, as long as and and
- 36:52Speaker 1: you know, like I tell everybody, you know, things happen.
- 36:55Speaker 1: It's hard to be young and and and in the
- 36:59Speaker 1: lime like and have a successful relationship and as look
- 37:04Speaker 1: as as long as everybody can walk away in peace,
- 37:08Speaker 1: be friends. I guess, I guess because you don't haven't
- 37:11Speaker 1: heard any you know. You know, I'm like that. You know,
- 37:15Speaker 1: I ain't heard nobody say they busting no windows or nothing.
- 37:18Speaker 1: So yeah, as long as you wanta put your hands
- 37:20Speaker 1: on my door, I don't give it. Damn what you do.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And that's why I was gonna come in if you did.
- 37:24Speaker 1: You need me on that Tom No, No, you know
- 37:33Speaker 1: he see he's still a cool guy, you know. I mean,
- 37:37Speaker 1: you know so, I mean, it's it's it's a break up.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You know, people break up all the time. Her dad,
- 37:46Speaker 1: her daddy survive major. I just wish I could have
- 37:53Speaker 1: broke up without the cost factor with it about you.
- 38:00Speaker 1: We're trying to make sure Laura learning from my children.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Get out here about you. Oh it cost you something.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Oh it's damaging you. Gotta go. Oh I waited way
- 38:14Speaker 1: too late. I got something to out. Yeah, sometimes people
- 38:23Speaker 1: do grow apart. I'm gonna to get awile. I'm gonna
- 38:25Speaker 1: have to start breaking up on ig because it's going
- 38:27Speaker 1: to court. Is costly, so stupid. All right, coming up,
- 38:38Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at
- 38:41Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to
- 38:44Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show New York's legislature voted Thursday
- 38:50Speaker 1: to ban anyone under age twenty one from buying or
- 38:54Speaker 1: possessing a semi automatic rifle. Now, that is a major
- 38:58Speaker 1: change to state fire arm laws, pushed through less than
- 39:01Speaker 1: three weeks after and eighteen year old used one of
- 39:04Speaker 1: the guns to kill ten people at a supermarket in Buffalo.
- 39:08Speaker 1: The bill raising the age limit is the most significant
- 39:12Speaker 1: part of a package of gun control measures announced earlier
- 39:16Speaker 1: this week by Democratic legislative leaders. Other new legislation will
- 39:21Speaker 1: restrict civilian purchases a bullet resistant armor, which was worn
- 39:26Speaker 1: by the killer in Buffalo, and require new guns to
- 39:29Speaker 1: be equipped with microstamping technology that can help law enforcement
- 39:33Speaker 1: investigators trace bullets to particular firearms. So that's some good news.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Thank you to the concerning New York dun control. Dun control, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 1: it is in the right direction, for sure. May do something, yes,
- 39:53Speaker 1: just all of this spots and prayers and no action
- 39:57Speaker 1: after yeah, just sitting back, sitting, waiting for another tragedy.
- 40:02Speaker 1: How many states is it? How many states in the
- 40:06Speaker 1: United States? Fifty? We got forty nine, Motorico. Yeah yeah. Meanwhile,
- 40:15Speaker 1: Texas governor lowered the age Oh, yeah, and when Abbot
- 40:21Speaker 1: got insolved, that's that's it doesn't make any sense. Yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 1: you can you can buy a gun, damn there before
- 40:31Speaker 1: you can vote over there, uh huh, before you can
- 40:34Speaker 1: probably buy a cigarette, alcohol, all of that. Yeah, but
- 40:38Speaker 1: you can buy a gun. You can buy a gun
- 40:43Speaker 1: before you twenty one. A matter of fact, boy, come
- 40:47Speaker 1: on these things. It's a step. But it's forty nine
- 40:52Speaker 1: states has got to come on. Yeah, yeah, and then
- 40:56Speaker 1: that right there is just lord's the age. Don't stop
- 41:01Speaker 1: the sound of nothing. No, I come here in New
- 41:06Speaker 1: York for taking a step. But New York is considered
- 41:09Speaker 1: a liberal state, and so of course New York is
- 41:12Speaker 1: a liberal in any other place because it has to be,
- 41:15Speaker 1: because if it has to deal with more cultures and
- 41:17Speaker 1: people of all different walks and ways of life, which
- 41:20Speaker 1: you should be. This is America's a melting pot. We
- 41:23Speaker 1: should be that way. But we're not very very hypocritical
- 41:28Speaker 1: nation we live in. So yeah, there was a shooting
- 41:33Speaker 1: in Phoenix this past weekend at them all what oh boy, yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 1: I didn't hear about that one. What happened Phoenix? There
- 41:43Speaker 1: was a shooting at Ara in Phoenix. A teenage girl
- 41:47Speaker 1: was killed. I mean, you know, it's no boy, it's
- 41:51Speaker 1: so sad. Also, another mass shooting in Philly, a mass
- 41:55Speaker 1: shooting in Chattanooga over the weekend. We gotta pray, we
- 41:59Speaker 1: gotta and vote. It's so sad. What's going on? Why
- 42:03Speaker 1: can't we have national gun reform laws? I don't understand
- 42:07Speaker 1: these senators and and it's it's you know, it's not
- 42:11Speaker 1: all of Congress. The House is past that bills are
- 42:14Speaker 1: that the House is passed, are on the desk of
- 42:17Speaker 1: the president. We need the Senate to come on in
- 42:21Speaker 1: and pass these bills to prove these bills. That's what
- 42:24Speaker 1: the hold up is. You know, they're not And that's
- 42:27Speaker 1: the part we can stop crying. The fifty one senators
- 42:31Speaker 1: that are controlled by the NIA are not because those
- 42:37Speaker 1: donations that they make determine if they stay, keep their position,
- 42:42Speaker 1: their power, and their money. And they don't care who
- 42:46Speaker 1: you shoot. What you're not fit to do is shoot
- 42:49Speaker 1: my career from under me, and you can kill whoever
- 42:54Speaker 1: you loan. We don't care. That's exactly what they're saying.
- 42:58Speaker 1: That is, you're right, Yeah, I don't. I don't don't.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I don't know how else to put it. Yes, we
- 43:06Speaker 1: don't care. You're making a very plain. We gotta beat them, though,
- 43:11Speaker 1: we gotta vote and beat them. We got the only
- 43:13Speaker 1: way to do it because right now they're saying they're
- 43:16Speaker 1: not our kids. That's it. That's it, Steve, we don't
- 43:19Speaker 1: know these kids. Yeah, all of that. Well, this is
- 43:24Speaker 1: an election year, so um you know extra, Oh okay,
- 43:32Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna switch gears here and coming up
- 43:36Speaker 1: next it is the Nephew and the Prank Phone call
- 43:38Speaker 1: for it today. Right after this you're listening to. Coming
- 43:45Speaker 1: up at about four minutes after the hour, it's my
- 43:47Speaker 1: Strawberry letter for today. The subject is cute but clueless.
- 43:51Speaker 1: We'll get into that in just a bit. Right now,
- 43:53Speaker 1: it's time for the Nephew and the prank Phone call.
- 43:55Speaker 1: What you got for us? Nav It happens to us
- 43:58Speaker 1: quite often, Shirley, All it happens. The title today is
- 44:04Speaker 1: he left his drawls. He left his draws, okay, And
- 44:12Speaker 1: it's happened on so many different occasions, and I think
- 44:16Speaker 1: it's happened for all of us, whether you whether you
- 44:18Speaker 1: have found somebody's draws that they left at the house,
- 44:21Speaker 1: or you are the person that left the drawls. All right.
- 44:26Speaker 1: He left his drawls cat dog. If you would hello, yes, mister, yes, hey,
- 44:36Speaker 1: this is the doorman mark of your building. Okay, I
- 44:40Speaker 1: have a mistress in here who is trying to get
- 44:43Speaker 1: buzzed up to your unit. Are you Are you at
- 44:46Speaker 1: home right now? Sir? No? No, no, sir, I'm not
- 44:49Speaker 1: a who yeah, a mister, um, let's say, I'm sorry,
- 44:53Speaker 1: you say, mister? And he wants he buzzed up? Supposedly
- 44:57Speaker 1: he left some articles in the room. Are in your
- 45:00Speaker 1: unit a couple of days ago? And that was out
- 45:03Speaker 1: of town a couple of days ago. What day are
- 45:05Speaker 1: we talking about? Uh? So you actually instead Wednesday, Thursday
- 45:10Speaker 1: and Friday? He was there all three days. You guys
- 45:15Speaker 1: let him into my apartment for three days. He was
- 45:17Speaker 1: in my place, Missip. We don't let anybody in and
- 45:21Speaker 1: let someone in the unit allows them to be buzzed up.
- 45:24Speaker 1: That's the rules here of the building. So we definitely
- 45:26Speaker 1: didn't do anything. So who let him in? Who buzzed
- 45:29Speaker 1: him Monday? Sir? I hate to say it, but I'm
- 45:31Speaker 1: assuming your wife musts to bust him up. You mean
- 45:34Speaker 1: my wife was not there three days ago. She was
- 45:36Speaker 1: on a business trip. She was not at the apartment
- 45:38Speaker 1: three days ago. No, sir, your wife was here. I've
- 45:41Speaker 1: actually seen your wife come in and out. Okay, to
- 45:44Speaker 1: do this there right now, he's downstairs. He's here right
- 45:47Speaker 1: now with me, Sir. What did he leave him? Okay,
- 45:50Speaker 1: one second, miss, hang on, what did he actually leave?
- 45:55Speaker 1: Fair pant and what else? He says he left a
- 46:00Speaker 1: pair of pants of underwear and a two prush shirt. Sir,
- 46:03Speaker 1: chill kill hill. He's there right now. Let me talk
- 46:08Speaker 1: to him. Put him on the phon phone, let me
- 46:09Speaker 1: talk some guards, you know. And miss. Right now, we're
- 46:12Speaker 1: listening to you, and I'll rate the way you're saying.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I don't want to put this car on the phone. Mark.
- 46:16Speaker 1: If you want to keep your job at the building,
- 46:19Speaker 1: you gonna put him on the phone now, sir. Sorry, miss,
- 46:25Speaker 1: he's actually leaving out of the building. Now he's leave,
- 46:30Speaker 1: he's walking out. Should put him on the phone. He's
- 46:33Speaker 1: your problem. You got videos to veilance, right, You got
- 46:38Speaker 1: video footage that everybody that comes in and out of
- 46:40Speaker 1: the building, right, Um, yes, sir, but you know if

- 51:22Speaker 1: it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter, subject She's
- 51:26Speaker 1: cute but clueless. Dear Stephen Shirley. My uncle is sixty
- 51:30Speaker 1: four years old and he's still got a lot of
- 51:33Speaker 1: life in him. He recently got engaged and the family
- 51:36Speaker 1: didn't know he was that serious about this woman. She's cute,
- 51:41Speaker 1: but she's clueless. She's fifty seven years old and she
- 51:45Speaker 1: got divorced about four years ago and doesn't know how
- 51:48Speaker 1: to do anything for herself. She's never paid bills, bug grocery,
- 51:53Speaker 1: or put gas in her car. My uncle thinks it's cute,
- 51:56Speaker 1: but as he gets older, it won't be practical. My
- 51:59Speaker 1: mother and I went to visit them after their engagement
- 52:01Speaker 1: and she was dressed in something that looked like lingerie.
- 52:05Speaker 1: She knew we were coming, so my mother and I
- 52:07Speaker 1: were wondering why she chose to entertain us like that.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I asked her if she was going to do a
- 52:12Speaker 1: wedding registry and she said she doesn't need anything, but
- 52:16Speaker 1: people could give her gift cards to Neiman Marcus or
- 52:19Speaker 1: Sacks because she had no use for kitchen appliances and vacuums.
- 52:23Speaker 1: My mother looked over at my uncle and he was
- 52:26Speaker 1: smising like that was okay. That led us to know
- 52:31Speaker 1: that he's sprung. She has two grown sons that did
- 52:35Speaker 1: everything for her after her divorce, and they've even complained
- 52:38Speaker 1: to me and my mom that their mother has lived
- 52:40Speaker 1: a very sheltered life. Why am I so concerned? Because
- 52:44Speaker 1: my uncle sits on several boards of civic organizations, and
- 52:49Speaker 1: he's the local president of his fraternity. He has gala's
- 52:53Speaker 1: and social events where my deceased aunt used to go
- 52:57Speaker 1: with him, and she could hold a conversation with anyone
- 53:00Speaker 1: and represent my uncle with class. She was educated and accomplished.
- 53:05Speaker 1: But his new fiance is just pretty All we want
- 53:08Speaker 1: is his happiness. So if you tell me he's happy,
- 53:12Speaker 1: I'll leave it alone. But what if he's making a
- 53:14Speaker 1: huge mistake? Should my mom and I have a heart
- 53:17Speaker 1: to heart with him? Wow, go ahead and have a
- 53:20Speaker 1: heart to heart with him. If you want to cause
- 53:23Speaker 1: a major rift slash fight in your family, mind your business, ladies,
- 53:28Speaker 1: This has nothing to do with you. This is who
- 53:32Speaker 1: you're sixty four year old uncle has chosen to marry,
- 53:36Speaker 1: and that's that. I mean, who are you to judge him?
- 53:38Speaker 1: And who are you to judge her? He will not
- 53:41Speaker 1: thank you for pulling him to the side and talking
- 53:44Speaker 1: to him about her. He will resent you, and please
- 53:47Speaker 1: stop comparing her to his late wife. His new fiance
- 53:52Speaker 1: is not her, and now your uncle wants someone different apparently,
- 53:56Speaker 1: whatever that looks like. So leave them alone. Welcome her
- 54:00Speaker 1: to the family, make her feel comfortable, let them live
- 54:03Speaker 1: and be happy. I mean, you guys are being really
- 54:06Speaker 1: petty and and and messy right now. So what are
- 54:11Speaker 1: they happy? Are they happy? It sounds like they are.
- 54:14Speaker 1: You said your uncle was smiling. He was smising. You
- 54:17Speaker 1: know he thinks it's cute. Yes, I said, get out
- 54:21Speaker 1: of their relationship and let them live their lives. Steve, Well, well, well,
- 54:27Speaker 1: seeing as high I'm in an uncompromising position, I'm gonna
- 54:32Speaker 1: have to approach this letter from a well, you know,
- 54:34Speaker 1: I don't have a print to where I am. I'm
- 54:37Speaker 1: at a very remote location. I'm on the air live.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I can't do nothing that I want to do. I
- 54:45Speaker 1: can't pull nothing up. I'm barely talking to y'all. So
- 54:49Speaker 1: the way I'm gonna have to do this letter is
- 54:51Speaker 1: it give me the subject of the letter again, Shirley.

- 55:43Speaker 1: true has just occurred for your sixty four your old uncle,
- 55:51Speaker 1: who is one year younger than me. So this I
- 55:54Speaker 1: am right in this realm of expertise. Again with this
- 55:59Speaker 1: left matter of fact, nobody can speak to this man's heart, intentions,
- 56:04Speaker 1: wishes more so than I, because Lord Hammercy, I'm a
- 56:09Speaker 1: year older than him, but so much further up the road.

- 56:32Speaker 1: She's fifty seven years old and she's got divorced. She

- 57:16Speaker 1: problem that I'm starting to detect in this letter is
- 57:22Speaker 1: your uncle, with all his prediction, well known in the
- 57:28Speaker 1: social circle, sits on the boards of so many things. Yeah,

- 1:06:28Speaker 1: dancing lane, none of that. So man, it was a
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: great game. I can't wait. Man, this series is really good.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: It's really good. Game three will be Wednesday night. We're
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: gonna see it's gonna be in Boston. Yeah, it's gonna
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: be in Boston. Man, So we're gonna see what happens.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Hopefully hopefully got a response. Now. Don't get me wrong,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Jason Tatum is really good. But last night it's hard
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: to fight three on one. You have been in the fighting.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: It's thrill on one. You gotta keep your head moving.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I can't just keep looking at one person. Bob and
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: we Bob and Weed. So first poor Sure, all right, junior,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next, more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to the Stave
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right. A group of teenage girls
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: showed up to fight a sixteen year old girl at
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: her home and allegedly attacked her mom instead, leaving the
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: woman with a concussion a broken nose and two black eyes.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: The mother's name is Michelle Audiu, and she said that
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: she and her husband were asleep when their two daughters
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: woke them up. Instead, a carload of girls were outside
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: their home in Blue Springs, Missouri, and they wanted to
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: fight the sixteen year old daughter. The forty eight year
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: old mother went outside and told the girls to leave,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: but the girls refused and kept demanding that her sixteen
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: year old daughter come out and faced them, and then
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: two of them jumped out of the car. One of
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: them allegedly punched the mother in the face, and then
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: both of the girls ended up on top of the
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: mother on the ground. After the girl left, one of
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: them reportedly posted a snapchat story that detailed the incident,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: with the messages saying, imagine letting your mom get her
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: butt beat but they said, ass and tell your mom
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: to come clean her blood off my window. Cops later
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: spoke to both girls and learned that they were as
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: young as thirteen, and we're all charged with simple assault
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and face prosecution in youth court. This is a horrible story. Okay,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: didn't you say that mom and daddy was sleep? Did
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: you say I did? Daddy did not get up, mom,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: So where in the hell was daddy yet? Well, you
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: you let your wife go outside in the middle of
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the night and get jump front a car load of people. Young,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you're not the first person walking out the dough to
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: make sure you know what's happening in outside your house
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: of people. It's called to beat up my daughter. And
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I let my wife get up and go out there
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: and talk with what and car load or nothing coming
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: up here? I'm little girls, little girls, find yourself something
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to do. Now. I'm not gonna jump on the little girls.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: But y'all not jumping on my daughter either. And y'all
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: find something to do. And who sends their daughter out
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: to fight? You ain't snick carving? Now, my daddy would
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: have walked my ass right on back out there. Yeah,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: because somebody dropped them. So somebody was old enough to drive, right.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: But as the mother, I'm there like so my husband
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: and my daughter is inside watching me getting my ass whooped.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: That's what happened. But I mean, yeah, it's terrible that
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: the dad didn't get up. You're absolutely right. Something has
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: to happen to these girls. See these kids now, man,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: if you don't check them, they have to learn consequences,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: but their actions these consequences behind your actions. I don't
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: care who you are. You're some vigilante group. You're gonna
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: get in the car and go over your threatened to
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: beat up a girl? What in the middle of the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: night and then jump on her mama? What on her mom?
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: You need to come and hit your lass down in
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Julie before a little while. Yeah, they broke her mother's nose,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: gave her two black eyes, gave her a concussion. She's
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: out there, They're out there jumping on this girl's mom.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: This is craziness right here. This really is. But let
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: me tell you something. These weren't no real little lass curious.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: You can't tell your mama to come get your blood
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: off my window. You don't drove a car Ford out
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: right right right? Ain't that? So? They had no remorse,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: no remorse, no nose. If you went back and posted something,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: yeah you all on snapchat with it. So yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: imagine letting your mom get her butt beat that's what
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: they said, and tell your mom to come clean her
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: blood off my window? What this is? Yeah? And I'm
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: mad at the dad too, of course, you know I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: understand the mom going out there, you know, and yeah,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: did she tell the husband I'm gonna go out here
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and talk to these girls or yeah, I don't know.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: But still though, Tom, but you don't even Yeah, you're
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: a mom, this is your baby. You're going to protect
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: your child. I mean, that's you just go by instinct
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: at that point, you know, even going out there. They'd
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: just been out there. This is crazy. Oh my god. Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: this is a really really horrible story. Blue Springs, Missouri. Well,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: the girls were charged, like I said, they were charged.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: They were youngest thirteen. They were all charged with simple assault.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: And they do faith prosecution in you court. That is
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: now the hen is that? Yeah, oh that's assault without
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: a weapon, without a weapon. Yeah, all right, coming up
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: at a in twenty minutes. We'll have more of the
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to show.

- 1:13:33Speaker 1: There you guys, Sheley girl. All right, thank you, Carla.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show with
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll do a round
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: it would you rather? Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now guys for would
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: you rather? Would you rather be tall and fat or
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: short and well built. I'm already shot and Will I'm
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: already tall in fact, so so I don't even really
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: appreciate you bringing this up, Shall because it can't neither
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: one of us do a damn thing. But where we
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: had right now, Tommy Shart Will building, I'm talking fat,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: so what what? And I don't appreciate the question, all right?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Would you rather? Because he can't do nothing about himself
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: being short, and I can't do a damn thing by
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: moon being talld and I can't seem to accomplish this
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: getting rid of it fat either, So it's just a
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: very depressing question, all right. Next question, would you rather
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: live with someone you hate or sleep in a tent
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in the backyard? Sleep in a tent in the backyard? Yes, yes,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: it is better to live on the corner of a
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: roof that inside the home of a quassing moment. That
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: is all the Bible scripture. And I haven't done it. Happy,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: we're gon, we're gonna be and climbed right up on
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: that rooftop, set on the corner, raining on my ass,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: and everything just cool with it not going down in
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: that damn house, all right, I'm talking. I'd have set
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: up on the corner of my house in a hailstorm
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: and was just whatever we get it, you made? Can't cool? Next?
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Would you rather only age from the neck up? Or
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: would you rather only age from the neck down? Face
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: their body, face their body. That's that's a tough one.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: If it's hard, yeah, Because I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: there's an aging from the nick down. It's problematic. Really
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: wish I could get that twenty four year old dude back,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: because that boy right there, back twenty seven, that boy
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: right there was at work. Frash shaw I was steady,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: fresh shaw. I never knew. I never knew naked could
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: look so bad, But it really can. It could really
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: look bad. So and well built. What's happening. Well, let
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: me say this to you. Naked is good when you
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: first get out the shower and you went and you walking, Yeah,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: don't drive off cut once you dry off and turn sideways,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you will not record you are looking at in that
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: damn mirror. I don't know who that is. You all
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: still didn't answer that one. All right, coming up, it
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: is our last break of the day. And of course,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour, we'll got some
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show all right, Steve, here
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: we are last break of the day. Yeah, you know,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I got several things on my mind for closing today
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: because I'm thinking, you know, first of all, when it
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: comes to people talking about you, either behind your back
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: on social media, however as a rumor, however you want
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: to call it, y'all, listen to me. Stop taking time
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: out of your day to address everything about yourself that
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you know it's not true. Listen, these people, these haters,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: they have one design, and that is to slow you
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: down or to make you think you ain't who you
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: really are, because the problem is they see what you're doing,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: they can't and they're jealous of it. So now it's
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: gonna be something wrong with who you are and what
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: you're doing or what you've accomplished. Stop taking time out
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: your day to address everything somebody say about you, especially
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: if you know it ain't true. Just move home. Just
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: it's not even worth it, man. I'm gonna tell you man,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I used to spend some time taking into consideration what
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: people said about me. It wasn't true, trying to explain myself,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: figuring out what was the politically correct way to approach it,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: getting the PR team together. How can I shut this down?
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Can I get a cease and desist? Can we do
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: this right here? Do you know I don't do nothing
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: that no more? And do you know what has happened?
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: My life is so much easier. It's just so much
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: easier because it don't matter what they say, and what
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: they say don't matter really at the end of the day,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: y'all think about it. When somebody's talking about you and
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: it's not true, or when somebody's talking about you trying
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: to throw shade or hate, what difference does it make.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: It doesn't stop anything in your life unless you stop
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: to address it, keeping moving, keeping moving, and let them
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: watch the show because it ain't nothing they can do
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: about it. Because the truth about the hater is they
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: are not decision makers. They are not power brokers. They
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: are not they are not shakers and movers are They
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: are none of that. You know, when when people talk
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: about you, look, listen to me, man, these people that
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: won't let stuff go. You got you gotta take people
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: like this into consideration. You see a person that God
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: constantly gives an opportunity to make a comeback. A god
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: gives you an opportunity to take the high road. And
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: you see these people out here on social media who
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: refuse to take the high road no matter what, who
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: can't seem to let a certain situation go, who are
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: just out here every time you turn around, is involved
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: in some type of mess. And then on top of that,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: they always the victim. You know, everybody's grandmama, the soul
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: of this all y'all's grandmother. Mine included every old person
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: and heard this. Everybody ain't gonna tell the same lie?
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: How many times you've heard that? Didn't you know how
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: true that is? You know, if you keep being in
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: a situation and it's always the other person's fault, where
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: are you gonna turn them? Three? For? Was around us
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: looking at you when you got that index finger pointing
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: it too, and realize it's probably you. It's you, sweetie,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: It ain't nobody else, it's you. Now, come on, people
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: can't keep cheering for that and you and you could
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: attach all of the false or narratives to it that
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you like. You can try to make it about women.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: You could try to make it about blacks. You could
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: try to make it about the Me Too movement. You
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: could try to make it about anything you want to.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, if it keeps resurfacing,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: it's probably just you. And after a while, people gonna
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: get hip to Hagar's. People are gonna get hip to
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: people that keep crying the skies falling, the skies falling.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: It's not The sky will never fall. You can holler
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: at all you want, but it won't. Y'all. I have
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: decided I've had to talk to my children about this,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: and it's hard because it's been hard for me sometimes.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: But listen to me. Yeah, here we go. Listen to me.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Stay on the wall. That's hard to do, I know
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: it is, but y'all, stay on the wall. I know
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: when people is throwing rocks and arrows at you, you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: want to climb down and deal with them. But if
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: God has blessed you and moved you forward, upward and onward,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: stay up there on the wall. Them rocks really don't hurt.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If you weigh up on
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: the wall and somebody throw a rock up there, even
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: if it hits you, how bad it hurt? A rock
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: thrown up doesn't have forward momentum. After a certain point,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I get a lot of rocks thrown at me while
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'm on the wall. Some of them hit me, but
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: they have no impact. Man. But if I come down
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: off that wall and get our level with these haters
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: and these low level people, these bottom feeders, guess what
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: them rocks can have power. Stay on the wall, keep
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the faith, don't wear an about it, and note that
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: if God blesses you, it ain't a dog gone thing.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Nobody can do about it. And that's the real truth.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Keep on shining, man. Hey, y'all, have a great day.
