- 2:04Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only see Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 2: radio show man. God is in a blessing business. I'm
- 2:15Speaker 2: in the receiving line, man. That's a good feeling. I
- 2:21Speaker 2: thank God for waking me up in the mornings, I
- 2:24Speaker 2: really really do. I thank God for the spirit that
- 2:27Speaker 2: he wakes me up with because I finally, but I
- 2:31Speaker 2: finally figured it out. Such a blessing that shouldn't be
- 2:35Speaker 2: taken for granted. The fact that you are up today,
- 2:38Speaker 2: the fact that you just got off working, you driving home,
- 2:41Speaker 2: the fact that you got a job to come home from,
- 2:44Speaker 2: the fact that you got a job to wake up too.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Whatever it is, the fact that you can see, think, here, smell, walk, talk, rhyme, reason,
- 2:55Speaker 2: whatever it is, it's a blessing Man. I was talking
- 2:58Speaker 2: to a partner mine last night and an analogy came
- 3:02Speaker 2: to me last night of what my life has been like.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Just going over my story with a friend of mine,
- 3:08Speaker 2: some of the things I had gone through, and he
- 3:10Speaker 2: never knew it because he said, man, you never told
- 3:13Speaker 2: me that. We were just talking. One of the things
- 3:16Speaker 2: I remember, and it's kind of equated to my life,
- 3:21Speaker 2: was when I was a little boy, as she go
- 3:25Speaker 2: to the store with my mom and she would let
- 3:29Speaker 2: me buy a jigsaw puzzle. Now, for those of you,
- 3:33Speaker 2: a jigsaw puzzle comes in a box. There are no instructions.
- 3:38Speaker 2: It just comes in a box and it's simple. You're
- 3:42Speaker 2: gonna dump the pieces out in a pile and you're
- 3:46Speaker 2: gonna try to put the pieces together until it looks
- 3:50Speaker 2: like the picture that's on the cover of the box.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's as simple as it is. Here is the deal.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I would select a jigsaw puzzle based on the picture
- 4:08Speaker 2: that I liked and if I thought I could do it. Now,
- 4:15Speaker 2: if the picture looked too crazy, if it looked too intricate,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I didn't want that puzzle, you know. And the thing was,
- 4:23Speaker 2: back in the day, you got a jigsaw puzzle you
- 4:25Speaker 2: had a hundred piece puzzles. Four hundred piece puzzles, man,
- 4:28Speaker 2: then they say a thousand piece puzzle. You go ooo.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So those were a little difficult for me when I
- 4:36Speaker 2: was a little boy, so I didn't want that. As
- 4:39Speaker 2: I got a little bit older, I had more challenging puzzles,
- 4:43Speaker 2: you know, four fifty five hundred piece puzzles. But I
- 4:49Speaker 2: always picked a picture of something I liked. So it's
- 4:54Speaker 2: very simple. You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it home,
- 4:57Speaker 2: you open it up, you dump it out on the table.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and then I would try to sort them based on
- 5:07Speaker 2: the colors on the box. If it was like a
- 5:10Speaker 2: black section, I'd take all the black pieces and slide
- 5:13Speaker 2: them over there. If it was some flowers, I'd try
- 5:16Speaker 2: to find all the pictures with little jigsaw pieces with
- 5:19Speaker 2: the little floor, and I separate them and then i'd
- 5:22Speaker 2: start putting it together. And the way I started was
- 5:24Speaker 2: i'd try to build a border first, because I knew
- 5:27Speaker 2: all the straight edges had to be side by side
- 5:30Speaker 2: at one point. And it was funny, man, because it's
- 5:33Speaker 2: related to my life. I would start putting the pieces
- 5:37Speaker 2: together of the picture I saw that I liked, and
- 5:43Speaker 2: that would be my picture. A lot of people didn't
- 5:47Speaker 2: like jigsaw puzzles. As a matter of fact, none of
- 5:51Speaker 2: the boys on the street liked jigsaw puzzles but me,
- 5:54Speaker 2: because they just didn't want to go through the intricate
- 5:57Speaker 2: details of figuring that out really go outside and run
- 6:01Speaker 2: or something like that. And so what happened was, as
- 6:05Speaker 2: I got older, I wanted more difficult and challenging puzzles,
- 6:10Speaker 2: but I wouldn't go too far. I wanted some nice
- 6:13Speaker 2: stuff to happen. I had a picture of what I
- 6:15Speaker 2: wanted for my life, but I didn't want to go
- 6:18Speaker 2: too far because it was so challenging and difficult. I
- 6:23Speaker 2: couldn't see myself with all of that, and I didn't
- 6:25Speaker 2: have the time, the knowledge, the expertise, the figuring all
- 6:29Speaker 2: the intricate details. And I discovered something when I was
- 6:33Speaker 2: talking last night. That's what happens in life to a
- 6:38Speaker 2: lot of people. You get bogged down with the details
- 6:42Speaker 2: of coming up and trying to create the picture that
- 6:44Speaker 2: you want for yourself. You put it to the side,
- 6:47Speaker 2: you say, ah, that puzzs are crazy. Next thing you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: you crumble it. Up and put it back in the box.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So you go halfway and you get stuck, and you
- 6:54Speaker 2: get to the part where it ain't a lot of
- 6:56Speaker 2: different colors. It's all the same, and that's a little
- 6:58Speaker 2: bit more challenging. So that may stop you. But it's
- 7:01Speaker 2: somewhere in the jigsaw puzzle that it gets very difficult
- 7:05Speaker 2: and challenging. The bigger the picture you want, but then
- 7:09Speaker 2: what all happened in your life, It's just like what
- 7:13Speaker 2: happened in the jigsaw. Once you get comfortable and you
- 7:17Speaker 2: don't mind the challenge, you could get a bigger picture.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But here's the key to it, though, if you put
- 7:26Speaker 2: God in your mix. See the picture that I saw
- 7:30Speaker 2: for myself as a boy is not the picture that
- 7:33Speaker 2: has happened to me as a man. Because along the
- 7:37Speaker 2: way from boyhood to manhood, from the time I was
- 7:41Speaker 2: teeing you understand what happened along the ride in there
- 7:45Speaker 2: was I started putting God in the mix. And so
- 7:49Speaker 2: now the picture that I have now is not the
- 7:52Speaker 2: picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw. So
- 7:56Speaker 2: what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you have
- 8:02Speaker 2: may be difficult to complete, but if you were to
- 8:05Speaker 2: include God in your life. Put God in your jigsaw puzzle.
- 8:11Speaker 2: God will not only help you complete the puzzle, and
- 8:14Speaker 2: he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
- 8:18Speaker 2: he gonna show some mercy, and you gonna look up
- 8:21Speaker 2: and the picture that you're able to end up with
- 8:23Speaker 2: will be totally different and much more complete, much more beautiful,
- 8:28Speaker 2: a bigger picture than the one you had, Because there's
- 8:31Speaker 2: no way that I could have sought a life that
- 8:33Speaker 2: I have today back when I was a boy. And
- 8:37Speaker 2: it amazes me when I hear people say I always
- 8:39Speaker 2: saw this for myself. Ah, I didn't do that. I
- 8:42Speaker 2: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
- 8:45Speaker 2: you can have the ability to see what God really
- 8:48Speaker 2: has for you. But man, he's a master for jigsaw. Man,
- 8:52Speaker 2: he's an incredible puzzle completer. So if you got a
- 8:56Speaker 2: puzzle that's challenging to you, maybe you need to see
- 8:59Speaker 2: what's the picture sure that God has for your life.
- 9:02Speaker 2: If God were in your life, if you complete it
- 9:06Speaker 2: to puzzle, what would it look like. It'll be a
- 9:10Speaker 2: far more extensive puzzle, and it would be a far
- 9:14Speaker 2: more beautiful piece of scenery than you could have ever imagined.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Tears come in my eyes because I can't believe God
- 9:21Speaker 2: bought me this far. I can't believe that when I
- 9:24Speaker 2: opened up and accepted him and started talking to him,
- 9:27Speaker 2: that he would add all these piecels to my jigsaw puzzle,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and my jigsaw puzzle would look like this. And I
- 9:34Speaker 2: can tell you I ain't got a whole lot to
- 9:36Speaker 2: do with with with what out and turned into. It's
- 9:39Speaker 2: mostly favor and blessings and grace and mercy of God.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And I looked up and I just got a much
- 9:45Speaker 2: bigger jigsaw puzzle completed. And guess what, He ain't through
- 9:49Speaker 2: with me yet. That's what's amazing and exciting about a
- 9:53Speaker 2: relationship with God. God could take your jigsaw puzzle and
- 9:56Speaker 2: fix it. Show, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come
- 10:04Speaker 2: for us to give thanks, anh and praise to Almighty
- 10:07Speaker 2: God for another day, another opportunity, another chance, another crack
- 10:11Speaker 2: at it. Man. I woke up this morning in a
- 10:13Speaker 2: good move.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I did my gratitude prayer. I told him what I
- 10:17Speaker 2: was looking for, you know, I told him how grateful
- 10:19Speaker 2: I was, how I appreciate everything He's done for me.
- 10:22Speaker 2: And my biggest change is I've just given him control
- 10:26Speaker 2: of the situation. It has reduced anxiety, worry, and fear
- 10:31Speaker 2: if you let God do it. And that's kind of
- 10:34Speaker 2: hard to do, you know, to just say, okay, God,
- 10:37Speaker 2: take the wheel, take control, because you so used to
- 10:40Speaker 2: doing it yourself. But I'm telling you, if you can
- 10:43Speaker 2: understand that He has your best interest at heart, if
- 10:46Speaker 2: you understand that he has a plan for you to prosper,
- 10:50Speaker 2: it's really an act of faith to do it that way.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And you can take yourself out to figure it out business,
- 10:57Speaker 2: because that's the hard part, figuring it out. If you've
- 11:01Speaker 2: ever sat and tried to figure it out, you know
- 11:04Speaker 2: how difficult that is. I spent years doing it. I'm
- 11:07Speaker 2: telling you, I understand where you're at. But if you
- 11:10Speaker 2: can ever come to the point and measure you faith
- 11:12Speaker 2: and say, hey, God, just order my steps, take control,
- 11:18Speaker 2: fill me with your spirit, tell me what you want
- 11:20Speaker 2: to do today, and I'll follow that right there. I'm
- 11:24Speaker 2: telling you, man, if you can muster that up right there,
- 11:26Speaker 2: it's a game changing for you. Steve har Marter Show,

- 28:27Speaker 5: What? What? What?
- 28:28Speaker 2: What you want?
- 28:29Speaker 9: You want?
- 28:30Speaker 2: This ain't no magic trick, Dog, They're gonna be mad

- 29:12Speaker 11: the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:15Speaker 11: after this.
- 29:16Speaker 14: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:21Speaker 11: A Texas lawyer named Tony Buzby held a press conference
- 29:24Speaker 11: to announce he is one hundred and twenty clients accusing
- 29:28Speaker 11: Ditty of multiple crimes. They provided texts, photos, and videos
- 29:34Speaker 11: as evidence. Busby intends to file civil suits against Ditty
- 29:38Speaker 11: this month, alleging sexual assault, false imprisonment, dissemination of home
- 29:42Speaker 11: sex tapes, and sexual abuse of miners. Medical exams detected
- 29:46Speaker 11: that several alleged victims were drugged with the horse tranquilizer
- 29:51Speaker 11: xylazine and a few of them, yeah, horse tranquilizer.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Who did that?
- 29:57Speaker 11: This is what the medical exams detected several of the
- 30:00Speaker 11: victims that are accusing Diddy were drugged with a horse tranquilizer.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Okay, wait wait, wait, is buzz the same guy? Call
- 30:10Speaker 2: him yes Texans with yes. Oh, he's full of it, man,
- 30:16Speaker 2: he's full of it.
- 30:18Speaker 1: That the same Sorry, I'm.
- 30:20Speaker 10: Sorry, that's that, dude. There's a trip he full of
- 30:23Speaker 10: He just all about bringing some that that. I don't
- 30:25Speaker 10: I don't believe this one.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I don't believe that. What what what makes you the
- 30:30Speaker 2: reason we ain't got no football team now? And then
- 30:36Speaker 2: we taking this mess right here, Damn Puffy Brown. That's
- 30:40Speaker 2: why we got no football game now, charged Sean Washington.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He then dug up to girls, man get this boy
- 30:49Speaker 2: so he can throw this damn football buzz.
- 30:53Speaker 1: That's a lot of accusations of all.
- 30:55Speaker 15: That's a lot, but minors though. That's serious minors alligation
- 30:59Speaker 15: minus so stranquilizers all that.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So that's what he's saying.
- 31:05Speaker 11: So well, some of the victims have been interviewed by
- 31:10Speaker 11: the FBI. Did He's defense attorneys claimed that did He
- 31:13Speaker 11: is innocent and they look forward to vindicating him in court.
- 31:19Speaker 11: All right, now check this out and other also this
- 31:22Speaker 11: is according to page six Denzel Washington allegedly once confronted
- 31:27Speaker 11: Didty at one of his parties. Denzel was there with
- 31:30Speaker 11: his wife Pauletta back in two thousand and three. A
- 31:34Speaker 11: source said Denzel confronted Ditty and screamed, you don't respect
- 31:39Speaker 11: anyone and stormed out of the party. Did He is
- 31:42Speaker 11: currently facing charges. You know what, He's facing sex trafficking, racketeering,
- 31:46Speaker 11: transportation to engage prostitution. He's pleaded not guilty on all counts.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Wow, once you make Denzel man this yeah, well, but
- 31:57Speaker 2: you know, man, I mean, you know, like we've talked
- 31:59Speaker 2: about it. Everybody get the warning, man, everybody gets a warning.
- 32:05Speaker 2: It's very few one time offenders gone, you know, unless
- 32:08Speaker 2: you kill somebody. But and just stuff what leads to
- 32:15Speaker 2: further and for where you get more and more demented,
- 32:19Speaker 2: you get more and more evil, more and more sadistic.
- 32:22Speaker 2: You get a warning for that early. Everybody does. If
- 32:26Speaker 2: you decide that I'm gonna be I'm gonna be a
- 32:28Speaker 2: yanky person, you get a warning about being janking. If
- 32:32Speaker 2: you just keep on, then you got to pay the costs.
- 32:35Speaker 2: And this is obviously, man, what has happened. I have
- 32:39Speaker 2: nothing that I can say in defense of anybody on
- 32:42Speaker 2: this when clearly, man, it's too much at this point
- 32:45Speaker 2: because you were warned. You were warned. But if you
- 32:49Speaker 2: take it upon yourself that I'm this way and this
- 32:52Speaker 2: what I'm gonna do, no matter what, at the expense
- 32:55Speaker 2: of anybody else, then bruh, you got to deal with that.
- 32:59Speaker 2: The concept coinstance is real. Yeah, and his lawyer can
- 33:03Speaker 2: say all his want, he is innocent. We're gonna fight.
- 33:06Speaker 2: You supposed to say that. But right now, though, br
- 33:10Speaker 2: his lawyer needs to be quiet that all creating that
- 33:14Speaker 2: live abaut why he had the thousand balls of baby on.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Costco came out and said, we won't even sell baby on. Yeah,
- 33:21Speaker 2: so you ain't bought nothing that bulk in Costco?
- 33:24Speaker 11: Where were you gonna stay?
- 33:25Speaker 14: Tell me?
- 33:26Speaker 2: I know what you can get at Costco? Is a
- 33:28Speaker 2: lot of man that he's doing.
- 33:33Speaker 10: Okay, okay, let me just let me just let me
- 33:36Speaker 10: try to throw this out there and play Devil's Advocate.
- 33:38Speaker 10: Can I if I can play that for a moment
- 33:40Speaker 10: and Steve.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Just just hear me out. Let's go, what is the
- 33:45Speaker 2: difference between this and Hugh Hefner.
- 33:49Speaker 12: Uh.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a huge difference. It's called charges. Uh, they're
- 33:53Speaker 2: called chargers. Do I believe Hugh Haveter got away with
- 33:59Speaker 2: some dirt? Yes? I do, okay, But I also think
- 34:04Speaker 2: Hugh Hefner saw the warning shot and took it.
- 34:09Speaker 11: That's the difference.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Then.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Now, was it a lot of crazy mess going on
- 34:13Speaker 2: back then? Oh? Hell yeah, I mean, I mean this
- 34:16Speaker 2: Me Too movement came in and shut a whole lot
- 34:19Speaker 2: of mess down.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Man.
- 34:20Speaker 2: But it was real and it was going down. It
- 34:23Speaker 2: was real, and it was going down. And the whole
- 34:25Speaker 2: Playboy thing situation was very real. That was very real.
- 34:30Speaker 2: That that documentary out that that uncovered a lot of stuff.
- 34:34Speaker 2: But now you know you dead too?
- 34:36Speaker 1: So wow, all right, Now, if he was live.
- 34:39Speaker 2: His ass be sitting up in there with puffy product.
- 34:42Speaker 11: Finally, and entertainment news, we're moving on. The daughter of
- 34:47Speaker 11: Good Time star the late John Amos, her name is
- 34:51Speaker 11: Shannon Amos, is sharing that despite her father reportedly having
- 34:54Speaker 11: passed away in August, she only heard the news on
- 34:57Speaker 11: Tuesday through the media, like the the rest of the world,
- 35:01Speaker 11: after her brother Casey Amos announced it. Shannon Amos posted
- 35:05Speaker 11: on ig quote, we are devastated and left with many
- 35:08Speaker 11: questions about how this happened forty five days ago, learning
- 35:11Speaker 11: about it through the media like so many of you.
- 35:14Speaker 11: She went on to say, many fans consider their TV father.
- 35:19Speaker 11: Many fans consider him their TV father. He lived a
- 35:22Speaker 11: good life. His legacy will live on in his outstanding
- 35:25Speaker 11: works in television and film as an actor. So here's
- 35:29Speaker 11: a question. Why does death bring out the worst in
- 35:31Speaker 11: people and involve family conflict?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Obviously there's some issues, and think about that.
- 35:38Speaker 11: Yeah, think about that, all.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Right, think about it? What is she talking about this for?
- 35:45Speaker 2: I would have told nobody I found out my mama
- 35:48Speaker 2: passed on social media.
- 35:50Speaker 11: Well she is though, Yeah, she's devastated, she says. Coming
- 35:54Speaker 11: up at twenty minutes after the hour, October is the
- 35:58Speaker 11: new November. Early voting has started. We'll talk about it
- 36:01Speaker 11: right after this. You're listening, Hardy Morning Show. Mexico now
- 36:06Speaker 11: has his first female president. Claudia Scheinbaum was sworn into
- 36:11Speaker 11: office on Tuesday. She's a former climate scientist who recently
- 36:15Speaker 11: jumped into the world of politics and is now the

- 40:17Speaker 9: That's all It is just humor. When you sick, you
- 40:20Speaker 9: gotta have a joke about it. Just keep it in
- 40:22Speaker 9: real and that's all you're doing.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Keep me real.

- 40:52Speaker 2: You know what man? You're I just want to apologize
- 40:56Speaker 2: to the radio audience because you know, I just have
- 40:59Speaker 2: a life. You had somebody call you why you at
- 41:03Speaker 2: work and know you at work? But be texting you
- 41:06Speaker 2: and just be dumb. I can't stand that. That's what
- 41:09Speaker 2: that was. That that's what that blackout want. Yeah, No,

- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I appreciate what you're saying, brother, and I
- 41:27Speaker 2: am gonna continue to go down this road. It is humor. Look,
- 41:31Speaker 2: if we don't joke about it, what you want us
- 41:32Speaker 2: to do? That's what comedians do. You know what I mean?
- 41:35Speaker 2: Somebody called me a big promoter and I ain't gonna
- 41:40Speaker 2: tell that because I'm not gonna do it. So you
- 41:44Speaker 2: want to do a show, yeah, And I said, yeah
- 41:47Speaker 2: you should. The show said no because I don't feel
- 41:52Speaker 2: you know, comedy didn't change, man. It ain't the saying
- 41:54Speaker 2: no more.
- 41:55Speaker 9: You know.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I look at like Tommy out there, Junior out there,

- 42:03Speaker 2: doing some basically good, good, good good stuff, you know, either,
- 42:07Speaker 2: But you got some cats out here, man, whose mission
- 42:11Speaker 2: on stage is to is to destroy and to be evil.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And that ain't what comedy is, man. I just think
- 42:19Speaker 2: comedy doesn't turn man. And then the ones who are
- 42:22Speaker 2: able to say controversial stuff because don't nobody know them
- 42:25Speaker 2: and they ain't got no sponsorships behind them, they ain't
- 42:28Speaker 2: saying nothing worth hearing. I just think, man, comedy has
- 42:32Speaker 2: really really changed, man. And it's hard. It's hard to
- 42:36Speaker 2: find just funny ass people out there anymore.
- 42:40Speaker 10: But still, Steven, it hasn't changed you expressing your viewpoint,
- 42:45Speaker 10: where you're coming from, what's going on in your life.
- 42:47Speaker 10: That's why I keep it focused on that my viewpoint,
- 42:50Speaker 10: what I'm going through, what I've been through. I keep
- 42:52Speaker 10: it on that if I try to juggle what everybody
- 42:55Speaker 10: else is doing, I'll fall apart.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I got to stay on what timing going on, my journey.
- 43:01Speaker 8: Watching watching Tommy dude, after this whole thing with cancer.
- 43:04Speaker 8: Tommy is an excellent comedian. I mean, but he tells
- 43:07Speaker 8: the great story about what he went through. It's funny too,
- 43:11Speaker 8: like watching him do it.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Man, I mean, well, you sound like a documentary right now,
- 43:14Speaker 2: so we don't know what are you playing with? What
- 43:17Speaker 2: you're doing?
- 43:19Speaker 14: Serious talking?
- 43:23Speaker 2: Just tell me he's doing he's telling a story. But
- 43:25Speaker 2: it's funny though it's not even it's not like a journey.
- 43:29Speaker 2: It's a journey. I laugh with him, you know, I
- 43:33Speaker 2: laugh with him. I laugh with you, you know when
- 43:35Speaker 2: you can hand it, you know, laugh.
- 43:39Speaker 5: I mean, I.

- 43:44Speaker 2: talking about when you once you come out. I don't
- 43:48Speaker 2: know it's funny and you call me that is when

- 54:07Speaker 11: All right, thank you, nephew. Subject When can I be
- 54:10Speaker 11: myself around him? Dear Stephen Shirley. I relocated for work
- 54:14Speaker 11: and I rented a house. I used an agency to
- 54:17Speaker 11: help me locate the home, and a nice religious man
- 54:20Speaker 11: ended up showing me around. When my furniture arrived, he
- 54:23Speaker 11: offered to help me get my house in order. He
- 54:26Speaker 11: showed me around the city one day, and then he
- 54:28Speaker 11: surprised me by asking me out on a date. I
- 54:31Speaker 11: was eager to get to know him better. I learned
- 54:34Speaker 11: a lot about him. Like he likes proper women, as
- 54:37Speaker 11: he calls it. He said he likes a woman that
- 54:39Speaker 11: is classy at all times, even at home. He said
- 54:44Speaker 11: he loves a woman that still smells good after an
- 54:47Speaker 11: eight hour work day, and she can command attention without
- 54:50Speaker 11: saying a word. I told him the type of men
- 54:53Speaker 11: I'm attracted to, and I assured him that he's my type.
- 54:57Speaker 11: It had been it has been three months so now
- 55:00Speaker 11: at the point where we spend the night with each other,
- 55:03Speaker 11: but no sex yet. I've been so stressed out and
- 55:06Speaker 11: sleepy every day because I cannot rest when he's in
- 55:10Speaker 11: the bed with me. I fight hard not to go
- 55:12Speaker 11: to sleep because I'm trying to lie a particular way
- 55:15Speaker 11: so I don't mess up my hair. I don't want
- 55:18Speaker 11: to wear my bonnet around him. I also don't want
- 55:21Speaker 11: him to hear me snore, so I try my best
- 55:24Speaker 11: not to fall into a deep sleep. This is not
- 55:27Speaker 11: good for my new job because I'm too sleepy to function.
- 55:31Speaker 11: I bought pajamas and sheets and new perfume to please him.
- 55:35Speaker 11: He sleeps silently and his feet are buttery soft. He
- 55:39Speaker 11: seems perfect, but maybe he's just trying to impress me.
- 55:42Speaker 11: I'm not trying to pass gas around him or anything foul.
- 55:46Speaker 11: But when can I start being myself around him? I'm
- 55:49Speaker 11: twenty nine and he is too, so I need help.
- 55:53Speaker 11: Is this how women act to get a good man?
- 55:55Speaker 14: Wow?
- 55:56Speaker 11: I really thought this was going to be an older
- 55:58Speaker 11: man the way you were talking about him. But you ask,
- 56:02Speaker 11: is this how women act to get a good man? No,
- 56:05Speaker 11: real women get their rest, they get their sleep. But yes,
- 56:08Speaker 11: we do to try to sleep cute at first. I mean,
- 56:11Speaker 11: like instead of a bonnet, we might sleep on a
- 56:14Speaker 11: satin pillow case. To keep our hair together. I mean,
- 56:16Speaker 11: we're not white women, so we do have to take
- 56:19Speaker 11: care of our hair. Our hair needs maintenance. And yes, definitely,
- 56:22Speaker 11: don't you do anything foul or you know, or anything
- 56:26Speaker 11: like that around him. You can go to another room
- 56:28Speaker 11: or whatever if you have to, and for his information.
- 56:31Speaker 11: If a woman has class, if she's classy, she's classy
- 56:33Speaker 11: everywhere period, outside the home. Inside the home, class is class.
- 56:38Speaker 11: And just because you wear a bonnet or you snore
- 56:40Speaker 11: or whatever does not mean you're unworthy or you don't
- 56:44Speaker 11: have class. I just wanted to let you know that.
- 56:46Speaker 11: So please don't mess around and lose your job trying
- 56:50Speaker 11: to please this man because you're sleep deprived. And trust me,
- 56:53Speaker 11: buttery soft feet and sleeping silently does not mean he's perfect.
- 56:57Speaker 11: You said that you think he's perfect.
- 57:00Speaker 14: Uh, he's got.
- 57:00Speaker 11: Flaws, just like every other human being. You just got
- 57:03Speaker 11: to learn how to be comfortable with yourself and who
- 57:06Speaker 11: you are, then you could be comfortable around him and
- 57:08Speaker 11: anyone else.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Steve, who Lord, I don't know what the letter or
- 57:16Speaker 2: you said. I'm very I heard everything you said. I
- 57:22Speaker 2: just you know, you know, Shirley, you're so nice in
- 57:25Speaker 2: these letters you're trying to help people when you're gonna
- 57:28Speaker 2: come to the realization that I have that there are
- 57:31Speaker 2: some people that we can't help. We can't help her
- 57:37Speaker 2: this Stephen Shirley. I really relocated for work and I
- 57:40Speaker 2: readed a house. I used an agency to help me,
- 57:45Speaker 2: and a nice religious man showed up, show ended up
- 57:50Speaker 2: showing me around. What nice religious man? You didn't met?
- 57:55Speaker 6: What?
- 57:55Speaker 5: What? What?
- 57:57Speaker 2: When you met him? What about him? Was religious? He
- 58:00Speaker 2: have a call on? He had priest roll over there
- 58:03Speaker 2: want of in big tall cardinal hats. What did he
- 58:07Speaker 2: pull up in the popmobile? Did you see bulletproof windows?
- 58:10Speaker 2: Was he standing up in the car when he pulled up?
- 58:12Speaker 2: Was he standing up holding on to the edge of
- 58:15Speaker 2: the window. I'm just trying to figure out how how
- 58:18Speaker 2: you met this really nice religious man. When my furniture arrived,
- 58:23Speaker 2: he offered to help me get my house in order.
- 58:25Speaker 2: He showed me around the city one day, and he
- 58:28Speaker 2: surprised me by asking you to go out on a date. Now,
- 58:30Speaker 2: you were anxious to do this because you really wanted
- 58:33Speaker 2: to get to notice, and you learned a lot about him, like,
- 58:38Speaker 2: for example, he likes proper women, as he calls it proper.
- 58:43Speaker 2: I'm thinking bushy is the word you're looking for. We
- 58:47Speaker 2: have that on our show, so you know that's what
- 58:52Speaker 2: you want. That's what you want. But you know that's
- 58:55Speaker 2: what he likes. He said, he likes a woman now here.
- 58:58Speaker 2: What threw me a little bit. He likes a woman
- 59:00Speaker 2: that is classy at all times. I like that even
- 59:04Speaker 2: at home. He said. He loves a woman that still
- 59:07Speaker 2: smells good after eight hour workday. Now depends on what
- 59:13Speaker 2: her job is. Though you know, she a bus driver
- 59:18Speaker 2: that that you know that ain't that ain't fitna happen.
- 59:22Speaker 2: If she were she a mail carrier, that's not fitting
- 59:25Speaker 2: to happen. I'm just telling you, though she worked down
- 59:29Speaker 2: there at Ford, but it ain't finna help. If she
- 59:33Speaker 2: run a daycare, that ain't fit to happen. Now you're
- 59:37Speaker 2: gonna have to date a woman that's somewhere sitting still
- 59:40Speaker 2: for eight hours on her job, with a bottle of
- 59:44Speaker 2: perfume in her cubicle and just steady spraying her damn
- 59:47Speaker 2: self too much so and then she and she can
- 59:53Speaker 2: command attention without saying a word. What the hell?
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: You on a date?
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: A mind, that's what you want to date? You want
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: to date a black man with a white face with
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: white gloves on that can command the room without saying
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: a word. Okay, hang on, hang.
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: On, Steve. We'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today Strawberry
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: letter subject when can I be myself around him? We'll
- 1:00:30Speaker 11: get it back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: hard Morning show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:37Speaker 11: today's Strawberry letter. The subject is when can I be
- 1:00:40Speaker 11: myself around him?
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: See? This woman relocated for her job, got an apartment
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: through an agency. The man that was an agent was
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: a real religious man, she said. I don't know how
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: she knew that. I asked her. Did he have on
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: a collar or did was he wearing when a real
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: tall pope hatch that tall one, it looked like, you know,
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: a candy coin.
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I'm just trying to figure out what he did that
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: made you think he was real religious? Or was he
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: did y'all? Was y'all first date on Saturday? Knocking on
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: doors with watchtower. I'm just trying to figure out how
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you knew he was real religious as soon as you
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: saw him. But anyway, he showed you around. Then he
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: asked you to go out. You really wanted to get
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: to know him. He told you he like classy women.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: That's classy all the time. Proper woman said, he loves
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: a woman that steal smells good after eight hour work day,
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: that's gonna be limited. You know, don't nobody smell the
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: same if they've been out the house for eight hours.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: You might be out there smelling like grass. You know,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: you can smell like outdoors. You ever leaned up against
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: a tree and just smell like bark?
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: I have.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I did it all the time when I was a
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: little boy. My mama when I came in the house
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: always knew what I was doing outside because I came
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: in the house and I smelled like it. But you
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: want a woman that keeps the same odor for eight
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: hours and she can command attention without saying the words.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: So we found out now he wants a date of mind.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: And then he says I told him that she told
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: him she was the type of man she was attracted to,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: and assured him he was his her type. It's been
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: three months now. Here we go ninety day rule. It's
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: been three months now and we at the point where
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: we spend the night with each other, but no sex yet.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: All right, I don't know why you put this in
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: the letter, and who you trying to fool. We at
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: the point where we spend the night together, but no
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: sex yet, and he twenty nine. It's about to happen.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: Girl.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I've been so stressed out and sleepy every day because
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: I cannot rest when he's in the bed with me.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: I fight hard not to go to sleep because I'm
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: trying to lie a particular way so I don't mess
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: up my hair. Okay, that strike one. I don't want
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: to wear my bonnet around him. That strike two. I
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: don't want him to hear me snow. That strike three,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: so I try my best not to fall into a
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: deep sleep. That strike four. This is not good from
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: a new job, because I'm too sleepy to function. I
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: bought pajamas and sheets and new perfume to please him.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: He sleeps silently and his feet are buttery soft. He
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: seems perfect. But maybe he's just trying to impress me.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: You ain't trying to impress you. I'm not trying to
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: pass gas around him or anything foul. But when can
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I start being myself around him? I'm twenty nine and
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: he is too, so I need help. It's this how
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: women act to get it with. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: You're gonna have to go on and be yourself because
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: you're not gonna be able to keep it up. One
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: day he gonna see you with no makeup. One day
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: he gonna see that bonnet on your head.
- 1:03:50Speaker 12: Eh.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: One day you're gonna blow him, blow one off up
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: under them sheets like you. Obviously wants to do what
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: he need to change your die. That what you need
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: to do, baby girl, you need it, but you need
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to look you're twenty nine. Just go on and start
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: being yourself so you can see what he so you
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: can see what they're operating with you can't. But but
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: make sure that he has feelings for you before you. Sometimes, ladies,
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: you give him it. You give them the real you
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: too early, and you gotta remember now you gotta act
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: like bait. We trying to trap you, but you gotta
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: act like bait. So you gotta keep the facade up
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: until you get what you want. You know, it's it's
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: just part of it. Now, you want to be yourself, youon'
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: you want you want to snore, you want to wear
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: a bonnet and you want to pass gas. I'm not
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: gonna want you after that, Steve. I'm just telling her
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: that when can I be myself? What is you fit
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: to do?
- 1:04:58Speaker 11: Why?
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Why is this being classy? As obviously is bothering you?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: And you see, here's what's wrong calling sure.
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: What I like?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: He likes a woman that's classy at all times? Well
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: you you obviously you don't want to do that. You
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: want to sleep how you want to sleep, You want
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: your hair to be messed up, you want to put
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: this bonnet on.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: You.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: You don't want to be classy. You want and all
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: this here and you snow now you got a bonnet
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: on your old snowing and you pass the gas under
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: the sheets were breaking up. We do this here? Not
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: signing up for this rest of my life? So when
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: can you relax and be yourself? Probably with him, I
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: don't think you're gonna be able to because he told you.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: What he likes.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Now he told you and she likes she likes him? Yeah,
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: she said, is this how women act to get a
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: good man? Yeah? They play the game. You tie of
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: playing the game him at the thirty days, I want
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: to snore put his bonding on past this gas and
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: I don't. I don't brush my teeth every day. Okay,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Oh you're mad.
- 1:06:13Speaker 11: I'm just telling that is not in the letter.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Well, I mean that is not in there. That ain't
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: the worst thing you can do now.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:06:24Speaker 11: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harby
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: FM on Instagram.
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: Book.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: You see how he tried to jump in that Strawberry
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: letter and I shut him off. That's how you.

- 1:06:38Speaker 2: I just don't let him in the segment Junior.

- 1:06:50Speaker 11: comes Junior with sports talk.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Right, but that's what he thinks.

- 1:06:57Speaker 11: It is time out for Junior and sports talk.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: You got hell?

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: DeVonta Adams wants out of Las Vegas writers.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I got that out.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Why because they ain't winning. They ain't winning.
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: He want to go play for the Saints or the Jets.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now, don't come up here.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: To Cleveland because we ain't got nobody throw it to you. No, no,
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: it's not even that matter of fact.
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: Make a pick right now night Thursday Football Buccaneers Falcon Falcons.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: I just thought you'd be torn because Baker Mayfield, we
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: just played for Cleveland and then you have.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: A home in Atlanta. I thought you'd be torn. I
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: just picked the Falcons.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: What is I'm torn for?
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: Yeah, that's how I need to ask you something. I
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: need to ask you this for me. Need to be
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: honest about this and just be honest. Do you have
- 1:07:49Speaker 8: something against me and Tommy because we sick people?
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Or do you have something we're not claiming to be sick.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Stop that ady. But what he's saying on ain't the Bible,
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: and no stop, well no it's not the Bible. But
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: it is hard working with sick ass people because you
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: don't never know when they're coming, you know, always gotta
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: go somewhere. I got i's appointment, then emergency. We'll be
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: on the radio and I can hear the ambulance coming,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: and it is this stuff like that. I'm just that's
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: hard hard to tell jokes and you go, whoa you
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: hear that, and then then you you. You be talking
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: sometimes you and then you just go and.
- 1:08:28Speaker 16: Wrong with you.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Well, he asked me, was it hard? And it is hard.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Tommy can't come sometime because he gotta go someor in
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: you and you know Tommy here Jeremy Ferbick. And then
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: he tried to act real secretary he had it, and
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: then he ain't gonna tell us he had it. Then
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: he just gonna go down there and get it treated.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Now he ranging balls that we all supposed to be happy.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: So I went on ring bell with him and everything.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I prayed for him. I was happy for him. But
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: he could have told me the beginning he had it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: We could have been and prayed for We probably could
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: have been had that bell rang six seven months before that.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: And we've been praying really no but about the time
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: we got on the prayer band wagon, and then we
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: we had to wait a year before we rang the bell.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Now we got to go down there, rang the bell.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: Can you U, can you just tell us if we
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: the other people, what's your prayer be?
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: You know, be broad though, because I don't really know
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: specifics like pray for us. I think he hates y'all.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I pray for you, but it don't be like what
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: you think. I just say, Lord, help him get out
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: of the hospital so we can do it. And then
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: I asked the Lord to heal Thomas so he can
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: get back to work so I can get there off.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: You know, I like praying with a purpose, you know,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: I praying for just anything.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: All right, pray with the purpose.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: It is hard work with sick ass people. Man is
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: think I think ought to get a parade or something.
- 1:10:00Speaker 11: We don't get anything. We're here every day.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: This woman needs to work like I do.
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: This man on social media needs some advice about his daughter, Steve.
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: She's an adult, so we don't need to call her. Uh,
- 1:10:14Speaker 11: we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:16Speaker 14: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: This is from B on Steve HARVEYFM. B says, the
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: relationship between my wife and my stepdaughter, her daughter has
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: taken a turn. Our daughter is in her second year
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: of college and is sharing a house with three of
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: her friends on campus. We pay her rent and her tuition,
- 1:10:37Speaker 11: but she's forbidden my wife, her mother from reaching out,
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: saying hello and checking on her because quote, she's an
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: adult and doesn't need to be checked upon. It's really
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: hurting my wife's feelings. My response is, quote, well, she's
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: an adult. She can pay her own tuition and rent,
- 1:10:55Speaker 11: which doesn't sit too well with my wife. Any advice, Yes, we.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: All get that. Who have children calling, that's gonna be
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: coming your way in a minute. Tommy has experienced it, Wow,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: surely I have. They all want to claim they are
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: an adult, but they taking your assistance.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, money, money.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: But like you can't make no demands on me, and
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: you're taking this money. Matter of fact, you can't say sugar, honey,
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: ice teathing me? Then no, for real, man, not you
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: taking this money? Damn I'm an adult. No, no, let
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: me tell you what adults do. Adults take care of
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: themselves and everybody that they responsible for. They don't take
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: care of yourself or are you responsible for yourself? So
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: you put your ass right on back in the dependent
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: category because that's what your ass is on the tax
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: for us.
- 1:11:53Speaker 11: But that's what the daddy said. But the mom it
- 1:11:56Speaker 11: doesn't sit well with her. She's upset about it. So
- 1:11:59Speaker 11: he's asking any advice that he can handle this with
- 1:12:02Speaker 11: his wife. Yeah she does, that's what he wants to do,
- 1:12:06Speaker 11: But the wife is not you know she's not with it,
- 1:12:09Speaker 11: she's not ready.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: To cut off and all that.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: I mean, you know, if she's ready to sit there
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: and take that type of abuse and orders from your daughter,
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: didn't go ahead and let your daughter take charge? Not
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: a good idea. Hard to have a person in charge
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: is somebody that's older. If you're younger than me, it's
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: kind of hard for me to let you be in
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: charge of me. And you ain't been while being done
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: what I done. So if you, if your wife is
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: cool with that, then let her go on his stomach.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: But you should have a conversation with the daughter and
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: just go, hey, you know what, huh you gonna thank
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: you being really really out of line and rule with
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: your mother.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, good point.
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: Yeah that's not what being away at college means.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to pull up.
- 1:12:50Speaker 11: Look, yeah, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:12:54Speaker 11: This is Lillian on Steve Barb FM. Lillian says, my
- 1:12:58Speaker 11: husband's brother, my brother in law, has a new girlfriend
- 1:13:01Speaker 11: that he's getting really serious with. She's smart and good looking,
- 1:13:04Speaker 11: which makes me question her interest in him. Although he's nice,
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: he's not the best looking and isn't real bright, but
- 1:13:12Speaker 11: he does have a lot of money because my husband's
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: parents were well off and left all their children financially secure.
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: I'm afraid she's going to use him for his money.
- 1:13:21Speaker 11: How can my husband and I help to protect him?
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: Or should I butt out?
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Tom? Is you going to handle Wow? I don't know why? Well, Okay,
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Shurey read the first full lines.
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: Okay, Lillian and Steve Harvey writes, my husband's brother, my
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: brother in law, has a new girlfriend that he's getting
- 1:13:43Speaker 11: really serious with. She's smart and good looking, which makes
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: me question her interest in him. Although he's nice, and
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: this is a line I know you wanted to hear.
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: Although he's nice, he's not the best looking. And is
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: it real?
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: You always? John, I don't know nothing about that. I
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: don't know nothing about not looking good.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: I don't know nothing. I don't know nothing we do.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: That's why we directed it towards you. You directed towards me.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: I don't know nothing about not being sexy. So like
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: ugly stuff, I'm not with the ugly stuff. I'm not
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: in You don't even looking at your zoom. You don't

- 1:14:27Speaker 2: let me talk to the latest. I'm not gonna talk
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: to y'all. Ladies, y'all looking at the zoom. It's Timmy

- 1:14:36Speaker 10: What y'all y'all looking at the zoom, y'all looking at Tim?
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: I mean, I mean, do you see all this sexy?
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: I mean, do you see it? I mean, what do
- 1:14:43Speaker 10: you see?
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Nothing? A turtle?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: What is the hush over? Jeruvalo?
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: What is that?
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: I see? Like a commercial for corwax or ink pit.
- 1:14:55Speaker 11: We'll have more of today's turtle after light right after this.
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: You're listening.

- 1:20:02Speaker 14: Morning show.
- 1:20:03Speaker 11: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:06Speaker 11: day Steve. Before we get out of here, we had
- 1:20:08Speaker 11: another phone call for you. It's a guy from Baltimore.
- 1:20:11Speaker 11: He left a message about defending you at the barbershop.
- 1:20:14Speaker 11: Take a listen.
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: Jamal Green from out of Baltimore. I was I was
- 1:20:18Speaker 6: listening to see you to talk to union about taking
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: up when you're in the barber stop and you know
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: I met you fist fight in the barbershop about you
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: not doing nothing for nobody, right because I said, I'm
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: going to cut my head ball like my man, see right,
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: and they don't do nothing, you know this and that.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: Then he gets to a big debate about what you do.
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: What I know you did?
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: You know because I listen to you every morning, right,
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: you know how you got your kids, your lictoric parents
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: and stuff like that. You know, people's just so healthy
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: because because you got a little something and they don't,
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: you know. But still I don't look at it like that,
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: you know, I look at it like you can help me,
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: just like you do every morning with with your little
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: ten minutes stuff. You know, words are with us. You
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: know what you're doing, what you're doing. Man, we got
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: a little, we got a little left in. But I
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: got to rights this.
- 1:21:08Speaker 14: Fighting.
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: You know I carry people got their phone. It's just bad.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: What kind of phone service there? Everybody phone? I can't
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: understand the damn thing when they call you.
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: Also, go ahead, I'm gonna say, you know when you
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: when you get fifty eight and damn near sixty.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: Hearing go first?
- 1:21:28Speaker 12: Mm hmm.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: How come everybody has heard of your as.
- 1:21:35Speaker 10: All listen, junior, is because you man that you be
- 1:21:39Speaker 10: coming every morning with these prayer meeting questions.
- 1:21:46Speaker 11: Go ahead, it's awesome back at the beginning.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Go ahead. Yeah, it's kind of interesting, man, to watch
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: your comedians go at it, especially when we're on the
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: same show, you know, and.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I think, yeah, you think, yes, crazy, really.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Want me to be honest, I suffer more than they do,
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: but I have to suffer though. I got to pick
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: up slack when y'all ain't him. Oh you know, you
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: ever think that God would put me in your path?
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Sick as hell? I don't know why he did. I don't.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't ask for this right here
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: because I don't know nothing about it. And really, you know,
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: but I've watched you handle it. You've been in inspiration
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: to me with the way you handle the crisis when
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: they happen, which shows me how strong a person can show.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: You know, Tommy. Tommy impressed me with his overcoming cancer.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: You know that fight right there, that's a that's a
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: fight that's within yourself. You and God got to get
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: in that one because other people can't do it. I'm
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: pretty sure his wife stood by him like a soldier.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure you need it, you know, but uh, overall, man,
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: it's just hard being on the show with two sick
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: ass people just don't come back down. I just always
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: always got to wait to see what it is now
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: you know, then you know, you know, like you know,
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: then he you know, even they foundations is sick. You know,
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: he all have a wounded warriors and then but then
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: he want to be one. And then Junior kids hoping
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: and you gotta walk for circle sell. Then somebody have
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: crisis in the middle of the walk. Now he comes
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: from damn ambulance and it's just and then they you know,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: they be walking. They try to walk into summer where
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: it's hot, but then that don't stop it somehow, and
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: then you know your foundation just healthy. Yeah, we just
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: have we have like you know, mentoring, you know, but
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: when you sit, you got you gotta go with what
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: you is. You know, he wounded warriors and and then
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: you gotta get you know, sick could tell people everything.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: You know, were you going to respond to respond to that?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: No, I was just saying, how I'm think him for it?
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: You know, I know Junior can't defeed me at the
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: barber shop because they all in there trying to figure
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: out why he in here anyway, a lot of that
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: being so he in there mostly answering questions about why
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: he is here everything because his boble trying to figure
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: out what you want me to do? Now, don't you
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: take a little off the top, little off the side?
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: But but but what what where you want me to
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: start this line?
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: That this.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: You know, like right now and so you know you
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: just got to.
- 1:24:41Speaker 13: Deal with that.
