- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It is Verdic with Center, Ted Cruz, and it's Ben
- 0:02Speaker 2: Ferguson with you. It's so nice to have you with us,
- 0:05Speaker 2: and certainly if you're listening on radio right now as well,
- 0:07Speaker 2: we love having you with us as well. And this
- 0:10Speaker 2: is going to be a really fun show tonight Center,
- 0:13Speaker 2: because we're gonna get to have a good friend of
- 0:14Speaker 2: ours on take a pause sort of from politics for
- 0:18Speaker 2: a moment, talk about a cool new book that is
- 0:20Speaker 2: out and what was behind writing this book, and I'll
- 0:23Speaker 2: let you take it from there.
- 0:24Speaker 3: You know, Ben, I got to say, we try to
- 0:27Speaker 3: count on being honest and candid with our viewers and listeners,
- 0:31Speaker 3: and yet you just claim that we're going to take
- 0:33Speaker 3: a break from politics, and this is about as far
- 0:37Speaker 3: away from taking a break from politics as I can
- 0:39Speaker 3: possibly imagine.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Today.
- 0:42Speaker 3: We are very pleased to welcome our friend Eric Trump,
- 0:45Speaker 3: President Donald Trump's son, who has a brand new book.
- 0:48Speaker 3: A brand new book came out this week. The book
- 0:50Speaker 3: is entitled Under Siege, My Family's Fight to Save Our Nation.
- 0:55Speaker 3: He is in the midst of his nationwide book tour
- 0:57Speaker 3: right now, and in classic Trump fashion, he's on the list.
- 1:02Speaker 3: And there's only one place to be on the list,
- 1:04Speaker 3: and that is at number one. It's the number one
- 1:06Speaker 3: best selling book in America right now. And Eric, this
- 1:10Speaker 3: is your first book. It ain't bad debuting at number one.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Congratulations and welcome.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Mister senator.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Now it will probably be my last book as well,
- 1:17Speaker 6: because we're not I'm not doing this again. You know,
- 1:19Speaker 6: the return, the return on time of books is especially
- 1:21Speaker 6: when you put your heart and soul into it. But yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 6: we're number one on Amazon, We're number one on all
- 1:25Speaker 6: the lists, and it's I mean, it just went viral.
- 1:28Speaker 5: I think. You know, people in this country are pissed off.
- 1:30Speaker 6: And mister Centater, you you've done a better job fighting
- 1:32Speaker 6: against a weaponization of government than I would say just
- 1:34Speaker 6: about anybody other than maybe Donald Trump, right, who's had
- 1:37Speaker 6: to face all of this. And you know, I became
- 1:39Speaker 6: the pinata in this whole fight because I was the
- 1:41Speaker 6: one guy who didn't have constitutional protections. I was a civilian,
- 1:45Speaker 6: you know, I was a guy that was running the
- 1:46Speaker 6: Trump organization. I was the guy that ran everything that
- 1:48Speaker 6: was outside of Washington, DC for my father when he
- 1:51Speaker 6: went into the White House. And what they tried to
- 1:54Speaker 6: do to us, what they tried to do to our family,
- 1:56Speaker 6: what they tried to do to this nation, what they
- 1:58Speaker 6: tried to do to you and and all your viewers
- 2:01Speaker 6: on this show is unthinkable, and somebody had to materialize
- 2:03Speaker 6: it because there's the greatest governmental corruption this nation has
- 2:07Speaker 6: ever seen.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Well, you're right, and they launched everything they had at
- 2:12Speaker 3: your father, at your family, four separate indictments. On top
- 2:17Speaker 3: of that, the asinine case from the New York Attorney
- 2:19Speaker 3: General trying to argue that somehow global international banks are
- 2:27Speaker 3: innocent wifes who are deceived and are apparently are unable
- 2:31Speaker 3: to value real estate because you know, giant banks have
- 2:34Speaker 3: never had to value real estate in the past. I
- 2:37Speaker 3: will confess, for me, maybe the most absurd moment of
- 2:42Speaker 3: all of it was when the idiot judge in New
- 2:45Speaker 3: York valued bar a Lago at eighteen million dollars, which
- 2:50Speaker 3: I'll confess I saw it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I would have bought it for that.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I saw your dad not shortly after that, and I
- 2:55Speaker 3: offered it on the spot. I said, miss President, I'll
- 2:58Speaker 3: give you twenty million right now. Well they too, I mean,
- 3:03Speaker 3: as you as you know, you can't buy a hot
- 3:05Speaker 3: dog stand in Palm Beach for eighteen million dollars, and
- 3:08Speaker 3: that notion that to me, it was the most ludicrous.
- 3:12Speaker 3: It was a relatively small detail of what was a
- 3:16Speaker 3: pile of idiocy upon idiocy. But you guys were the
- 3:19Speaker 3: targets of it, and and it it cannot have been fun.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Mister Center.
- 3:25Speaker 6: I became the most openied man in American history for
- 3:27Speaker 6: doing absolutely nothing wrong. I'm not Hunter Biden. I never
- 3:31Speaker 6: had a speeding ticket in my life. I've lived a
- 3:33Speaker 6: very straight, very good life, hard working guy, no games,
- 3:36Speaker 6: never even approached the line, you know, raised right, you know,
- 3:40Speaker 6: and and they tried to destroy us. I was the
- 3:42Speaker 6: one those gang calls from the FBI. You remember the
- 3:44Speaker 6: Russia hoos very well because you were probably the best
- 3:46Speaker 6: person in fighting against it. Eric, I hear you have
- 3:48Speaker 6: secret servers in the basement of Trump Tower communicating directly
- 3:51Speaker 6: with the Kremlin. I go, excuse me, I literally started,
- 3:53Speaker 6: mister Center. I started laughing. I started laughing. I go,
- 3:55Speaker 6: First of all, you don't keep servers in basements because
- 3:58Speaker 6: basements flood. Second of all, were like largely cloud based.
- 4:01Speaker 6: And they did it so a greedy woman could get
- 4:03Speaker 6: about three extra votes, right, And they used that as
- 4:06Speaker 6: their explanation as to why she lost. And then it
- 4:08Speaker 6: was at peachment number one, and then it was a
- 4:09Speaker 6: peachment number two, and then it was them attacking Cavanaugh,
- 4:12Speaker 6: and then it was one hundred and twelve subpoenas that
- 4:14Speaker 6: I received for again doing nothing wrong. And then it
- 4:16Speaker 6: was a weaponization of every attorney general and district attorney
- 4:20Speaker 6: in this country, whether it be Latitia James or Alvin
- 4:22Speaker 6: Bragg or Cy Vance or Fanny Willis and her boyfriend
- 4:26Speaker 6: in Fulton, Georgia, you know, or Jack Smith or Comy
- 4:30Speaker 6: and everything that they did. Then they spied on her campaign.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Then they did the weaponization of Faiza. Then they took
- 4:36Speaker 6: my father off the ballot in Colorado, and then they
- 4:38Speaker 6: took him off the ballot in Maine. And when that
- 4:41Speaker 6: didn't work, they tried to silence his voice and get
- 4:43Speaker 6: rid of his First Amendment right.
- 4:44Speaker 5: So what did they do?
- 4:45Speaker 6: Took him off of YouTube, took him off of Twitter,
- 4:47Speaker 6: took him off of Facebook, took him off of Instagram.
- 4:50Speaker 6: And when that didn't work, when we popped up true social,
- 4:53Speaker 6: what did they do? They had every judge imposed gag
- 4:55Speaker 6: orders on him and.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Then they rated mar Lago.
- 4:58Speaker 6: I was the guy that got the call when third
- 5:00Speaker 6: FBI agents were outside screaming in a phone to me
- 5:03Speaker 6: turn off the security cameras at m R A Lago.
- 5:07Speaker 6: They did everything they could, and then they de banked us,
- 5:09Speaker 6: and then they deplatformed us. They tried to bankrupt us,
- 5:13Speaker 6: they tried to imprison us. And I'll never forget walking
- 5:16Speaker 6: out of that jail cell with my father in New
- 5:18Speaker 6: York after the thirty four felony accounts right which have
- 5:20Speaker 6: all been overturned, and I said, Dad, we either win
- 5:23Speaker 6: the White House or you and I are in jail
- 5:25Speaker 6: for doing absolutely nothing wrong. That's how diabolical the pendulum was.
- 5:31Speaker 6: And they were doing it to the people in this
- 5:32Speaker 6: country as well. They were debanking them. They were going
- 5:35Speaker 6: after their pastors, they were going after their churches. They
- 5:38Speaker 6: were weaponizing the irs.
- 5:40Speaker 5: You know.
- 5:40Speaker 6: They were skipping great people who had worked their butts
- 5:43Speaker 6: off their entire year because of DEI hires and literally
- 5:46Speaker 6: ruining upward mobility of people across the country. They were
- 5:50Speaker 6: corrupting their children. They were teaching them revisionist history. This
- 5:53Speaker 6: siege wasn't just against the Trump family, it was against
- 5:56Speaker 6: all of us.
- 5:57Speaker 5: It was against both of you, it was against.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Every person watching us right now, and people are pissed
- 6:02Speaker 6: off in this country, and that's why this book went
- 6:04Speaker 6: to number one.
- 6:06Speaker 2: You mentioned mar Lago a second ago and getting that
- 6:09Speaker 2: phone call. Can you just explain how insane that day
- 6:13Speaker 2: must have been, because I know people we saw it
- 6:15Speaker 2: on TV, but you were on the inside. And when
- 6:18Speaker 2: you're getting a phone called, they're telling you to turn
- 6:20Speaker 2: your cameras off.
- 6:22Speaker 4: So like, what time of day is it, what are
- 6:24Speaker 4: you doing?
- 6:25Speaker 6: It was about seven fifty eight o'clock in the morning
- 6:27Speaker 6: when I got a call from my team. They say,
- 6:29Speaker 6: the thirty FBI agents and they have a search warrant.
- 6:31Speaker 6: I go, what are they searching? I'm not sure if
- 6:32Speaker 6: I understand, Like we have like such a great relationship
- 6:34Speaker 6: with law enforcement. It was bizarre at the time. I go,
- 6:37Speaker 6: how would I not know about this? From Secret Service?
- 6:39Speaker 6: How would I not know? I mean, they didn't give
- 6:40Speaker 6: anybody warning. And I'll never forget, I said. I finally
- 6:44Speaker 6: figured out what they were doing, and I said, did
- 6:45Speaker 6: anybody let my father know? And it was my team,
- 6:47Speaker 6: really and they said no, And I go, we'll call
- 6:49Speaker 6: him right now, and we met in his office and
- 6:51Speaker 6: that's when he wrote up that beautiful tweet, as you remember,
- 6:53Speaker 6: And the FBI was so damn pissed that we sent
- 6:56Speaker 6: out that tweet. They wanted to have the narrative, they
- 6:59Speaker 6: wanted to be able to release a story, and instead
- 7:01Speaker 6: my father writes that beautiful tweet. You know, right now,
- 7:03Speaker 6: the FBI is raiding the famous Mara A Lago, my home,
- 7:07Speaker 6: you know, And the world went crazy. The world couldn't
- 7:10Speaker 6: stand it. It was the worst decision that they ever made.
- 7:13Speaker 6: And remember, Senator, they said it was on behalf of
- 7:15Speaker 6: Nara right National Archives. Does anybody I went on Hannity
- 7:18Speaker 6: that night, I go, does anybody actually believe with glorified
- 7:21Speaker 6: library send thirty FBI agents to invade Mara A Lago
- 7:26Speaker 6: with firearms?
- 7:28Speaker 5: Give me a break, right?
- 7:29Speaker 6: And then sure enough it comes out there was Joe Biden,
- 7:30Speaker 6: and it was Merrick Garland, and it was the whole
- 7:32Speaker 6: host of criminals that weaponized the entire system. But I'll
- 7:35Speaker 6: never forget that call. Thirty FBI agents outside of mar
- 7:39Speaker 6: A Lago. They searched Milania's room, they search Baron's room.
- 7:42Speaker 6: They took attorney client privileged documents, they took hippa documents.
- 7:47Speaker 5: You can't make it up.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Many of you may not know this.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I've actually owned two different barbecue restaurants, one right now,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and the quality of meat when you want to make
- 7:57Speaker 2: amazing food is so vitally important. Now you've heard a
- 8:00Speaker 2: big pharm up, But have you ever heard a big ag?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Did you know that eighty five percent of American beef
- 8:06Speaker 2: is controlled by just four major companies. Just because you
- 8:10Speaker 2: buy American doesn't mean you're buying healthy and buying organic
- 8:14Speaker 2: only means they control what the cattle eat, not how
- 8:17Speaker 2: they live. Well, that's why I want you to know
- 8:20Speaker 2: about backyard butchers. It is Texas steer steaks that come
- 8:24Speaker 2: directly from a real Texas ranch where the cattle are raised,
- 8:29Speaker 2: process and ship from the same location. Completely bypassing big AG.
- 8:34Speaker 2: These Texas steers are ninety eight percent grass fed and
- 8:38Speaker 2: then two percent natural grain finished. That's how you get
- 8:42Speaker 2: amazing steaks with no growth hormones, no antibiotics, and no preservatives.
- 8:48Speaker 2: The quality and flavor are just straight up exceptional. Making
- 8:52Speaker 2: America healthy again. Yes, that is a big deal, and
- 8:55Speaker 2: it starts with going back to our roots and eating
- 8:58Speaker 2: real meat from the hard working ranchers who raise cattle
- 9:02Speaker 2: the right way. So try it. You're gonna love it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: So go to Backyard Butchers dot com. Enter the promo
- 9:09Speaker 2: code verdict for up to thirty percent off, two free
- 9:13Speaker 2: ten ounce ribbis and free shipping when you subscribe. So
- 9:17Speaker 2: fight back against big ag with your fork. Support American ranchers,
- 9:22Speaker 2: support Texas, and you're gonna get a great meal Backyard
- 9:25Speaker 2: Butchers dot Com promo code Verdict to get up to
- 9:29Speaker 2: thirty percent off and two free ten ounce ribbis plus
- 9:32Speaker 2: free shipping.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Right now.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I know you're going to try to terrorize in New
- 9:36Speaker 2: York Times a little bit. That's the hardest thing is
- 9:38Speaker 2: just to screw with them and be at the top
- 9:40Speaker 2: of their list. So everyone listening, I hope you'll buy
- 9:43Speaker 2: the book just so we can screw with them a
- 9:44Speaker 2: little bit. Center you've been at the top of that list,
- 9:46Speaker 2: it's hard to get there.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Well, I will say, Eric, you should brace yourself. It
- 9:50Speaker 3: doesn't matter how many copies of the book you sell.
- 9:53Speaker 3: The New York Times is going to insist that like
- 9:56Speaker 3: left Handed Transgender Witches, is the number one book in America,
- 10:00Speaker 3: and to be fair, in the New York Times newsroom,
- 10:02Speaker 3: it probably is the number one book in America. But
- 10:04Speaker 3: but if you get outside the New York Times and
- 10:07Speaker 3: to the rest of America, there are a lot of
- 10:09Speaker 3: people right now that are going to Amazon. Go to
- 10:11Speaker 3: Amazon right now by Eric truck Trump's book Keep It
- 10:14Speaker 3: at number one, Annoy a Liberal by two, buy one
- 10:17Speaker 3: for yourself, and buy one to give a liberal just
- 10:19Speaker 3: to drive them crazy. And and and to say, explain
- 10:22Speaker 3: to me again how you think weaponization is a bad thing.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Because because your you're liberal friends, to the extent you
- 10:30Speaker 3: have any that they haven't defriended you, They're not going
- 10:33Speaker 3: to have an answer to that. Eric, tell me what
- 10:35Speaker 3: was your dad's reaction when you went in and and
- 10:37Speaker 3: told them, okay, the FBI agents are here. I assume
- 10:41Speaker 3: he was pissed, But like, what was his immediate reaction
- 10:44Speaker 3: when you tell him that It.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Was actually remarkably calm.
- 10:47Speaker 6: You know, it's it's you know, I've seen my father
- 10:49Speaker 6: pissed many times, but he doesn't get pissed off and
- 10:51Speaker 6: in situations of kind of like great anguish and stress. Right,
- 10:54Speaker 6: it's no different than Butler. But you know, almost foreshadow
- 10:56Speaker 6: Butler is the same thing. It's it's I probably would
- 10:58Speaker 6: have been pissed in Butler and I think he was
- 11:00Speaker 6: actually remarkably calm, especially in the aftermath of what happened.
- 11:04Speaker 6: And you know he was always his commist in the
- 11:06Speaker 6: worst moments, always, I mean and center. You saw many
- 11:09Speaker 6: of them. I mean you were there for many of them,
- 11:11Speaker 6: in so many different ways. You know, he never let
- 11:14Speaker 6: emotion fly. It was it was a very he goes,
- 11:17Speaker 6: you gotta be kidding me, all right, honey, meet me
- 11:19Speaker 6: in my office. You know, we're going to write up
- 11:20Speaker 6: a statement. And that's when he let that truth fly,
- 11:22Speaker 6: and you know, the rest is history. I mean, for
- 11:24Speaker 6: the next month, they had helicopters buzzing over mar a
- 11:26Speaker 6: Lago and you know the scenes of that front gate.
- 11:29Speaker 6: You remember this, the cop car from the front gate
- 11:31Speaker 6: of mar Lago. I mean, mar Lago became, not that
- 11:33Speaker 6: it wasn't probably already, but he became the most famous
- 11:35Speaker 6: property in the world. Based on on that raid and
- 11:38Speaker 6: what they did, and then the aftermath of all of it,
- 11:39Speaker 6: we find out Jack Smith was bringing in classified folders
- 11:42Speaker 6: and effectively staging photo shoots on the.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Office floor of my father's office.
- 11:48Speaker 6: But you know, as I said before, guys, I mean
- 11:50Speaker 6: they were going through Malania's closet they were going through
- 11:52Speaker 6: Baron's room. They literally they took his medical records, right
- 11:57Speaker 6: like hipA related records. That pissed off the judge. I
- 12:00Speaker 6: can only tell you they took attorney client documents right.
- 12:03Speaker 6: That also really pissed off Eileen Cannon, the judge on
- 12:07Speaker 6: the case. You just you couldn't believe it. And then
- 12:10Speaker 6: you know, again, all of this was stage. You think
- 12:11Speaker 6: Donald Trump just leaves classified folders fanned out perfectly on
- 12:15Speaker 6: the floor. I mean, it was all staged. It was
- 12:17Speaker 6: all set up. They wanted to imprison him. They wanted
- 12:20Speaker 6: to take his voice. They wanted to imprison him. They
- 12:22Speaker 6: wanted him behind bars. They didn't want him to be
- 12:25Speaker 6: able to campaign. They wanted to weaponize a system in
- 12:28Speaker 6: any way, shape or form, and they weren't able to
- 12:30Speaker 6: do it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: A lot of people remember the deplatforming, and you mentioned
- 12:34Speaker 2: that earlier, and you go back to the end of
- 12:37Speaker 2: his first term in office. But one of the things
- 12:39Speaker 2: you mentioned earlier on was they tried to ruin your
- 12:42Speaker 2: businesses by d banking. You can you explain for people
- 12:46Speaker 2: that don't understand just how critical that was in a
- 12:49Speaker 2: time and the Trump organization you've been handled the family
- 12:52Speaker 2: business to run it. And now you're finding out you
- 12:54Speaker 2: can't even have banking the way that you need to
- 12:56Speaker 2: have banking to literally run businesses, whether your big business
- 12:59Speaker 2: are small business. A lot of people listening right now.
- 13:01Speaker 2: If you don't have a bank, you don't have a business.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Yeah, Ben, it was that times one hundred.
- 13:05Speaker 6: I mean they they literally it was coordinated by the administration,
- 13:09Speaker 6: There's no question about it. And they called up and
- 13:11Speaker 6: they said, listen, congratulations, you cancel the account. I was
- 13:13Speaker 6: getting these letters. I got one from Capital One. They
- 13:15Speaker 6: had three hundred bank accounts. And these aren't like baby
- 13:17Speaker 6: bank accounts. These are massive commercial buildings that have hundreds
- 13:21Speaker 6: of tenants, you know, thousands of people working in these buildings,
- 13:25Speaker 6: hundreds if not thousands, of vendors, heavy real estate taxes.
- 13:29Speaker 6: I mean people, hundreds and hundreds of people depend their
- 13:33Speaker 6: livelihoods depend on on these businesses. They've got complicated lock
- 13:36Speaker 6: box provisions and loan you know, loan documents, thousands of
- 13:40Speaker 6: inputs coming in like this, you know, and they just
- 13:42Speaker 6: called up. You know, your accounts are going to get closed.
- 13:44Speaker 6: You've got one or two days to move them, and congratulations,
- 13:48Speaker 6: you're done. All because we wore a hat that said
- 13:50Speaker 6: make America great again.
- 13:52Speaker 5: That was read.
- 13:53Speaker 6: These were commercial buildings, these were condominium associations, these were
- 13:56Speaker 6: small golf courses, these were you know, residential shops, were
- 14:00Speaker 6: scrow accounts, things that had nothing to do, nothing to
- 14:03Speaker 6: do with politics whatsoever. And they canceled us like we
- 14:06Speaker 6: were dogs. Capital One was the worst.
- 14:08Speaker 5: JP.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Morgan was horrible. Bank of America was horrible. First Republic
- 14:13Speaker 6: was terrible. But it wasn't just the banks. It was
- 14:15Speaker 6: platform Shopify. Shopify literally gave us a notice they do
- 14:20Speaker 6: all the e comm platforms in the middle of the night,
- 14:22Speaker 6: turned off our accounts like we were nothing right. We
- 14:24Speaker 6: were selling golf polos that we have, you know from
- 14:27Speaker 6: mar A Lago. And they did everything they could took
- 14:30Speaker 6: to hurt us, to turn off the rails right again.
- 14:33Speaker 6: They wanted our voice gone, They wanted us bankrupt, they
- 14:36Speaker 6: wanted the name off of every building. They wanted us
- 14:39Speaker 6: thrown out of New York. You had Letitia James, I
- 14:41Speaker 6: was trying to repossess our assets. I mean it was
- 14:43Speaker 6: almost like forfeiture. It was not constitutional. Hence the reason
- 14:46Speaker 6: the appellate courts throughout the case five zero and we
- 14:49Speaker 6: got a resounding victory two weeks ago or three weeks ago.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Guys, they tried everything they could.
- 14:54Speaker 6: And because I was the guy outside of Washington, DC,
- 14:56Speaker 6: because I ran the company, it all fell on me.
- 14:59Speaker 6: That's how I became the most opened person the history
- 15:01Speaker 6: of this country, having never done a damn thing wrong.
- 15:04Speaker 6: They wanted to get to my father coming through me.
- 15:07Speaker 3: That Now, were these business accounts personal accounts both? I mean,
- 15:11Speaker 3: how many accounts are we talking about?
- 15:13Speaker 4: Roughly like what.
- 15:14Speaker 6: Five five hundred? You know, lots of those being business accounts,
- 15:18Speaker 6: all of them being us. You know, my wife has
- 15:21Speaker 6: a like athletic clothing line. You know, JP Morgan Chase
- 15:24Speaker 6: wouldn't open up an account, so you know, for her,
- 15:26Speaker 6: she's not Donald Trump, She's not the Trump organization. They
- 15:30Speaker 6: did this to everyone in the family. If you even
- 15:32Speaker 6: came close. You know, if you even came close. I
- 15:35Speaker 6: have a little farm with a couple buddies. They canceled
- 15:38Speaker 6: that account. Doesn't wear a Trump name, it can't. They
- 15:42Speaker 6: were indiscriminate. If it was six degrees of sep in
- 15:45Speaker 6: narration from Trump, they canceled us. And honestly, guys, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 6: I'm an outspoken you know, a big fan of you know, cryptocurrency.
- 15:53Speaker 6: That's how I found crypto because I realized how quickly
- 15:56Speaker 6: financial institutions can be weaponized against the American people and
- 16:00Speaker 6: realize that there's nothing that can be done on you know,
- 16:02Speaker 6: using traditional financial institutions that can't be done better, faster, cheaper, safer,
- 16:07Speaker 6: and more efficiently using cryptocurrency.
- 16:10Speaker 5: And I'm the biggest proponent of it.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Did did they even even purport to give you any
- 16:14Speaker 3: explanation or do they just say no, it's canceled like
- 16:17Speaker 3: like that that they didn't was there any details or
- 16:21Speaker 3: you just get phone calls or get an email and say, okay,
- 16:24Speaker 3: this account's done.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Other other than a lot of those, you know a
- 16:27Speaker 6: lot of the people that worked in the in the
- 16:28Speaker 6: banks who otherwise said this is the most I can't
- 16:31Speaker 6: believe it. I can't believe what my bank's doing. This
- 16:33Speaker 6: is all political. That's what they're saying in the corridors
- 16:35Speaker 6: every day. They canceled you for political reasons. There's no
- 16:38Speaker 6: other explanation they're telling us, you know, they're telling us
- 16:41Speaker 6: we can't talk to you ever again. I was unbelievable,
- 16:44Speaker 6: and I would not wish that on my worst enemy,
- 16:46Speaker 6: to take the rails of being able to pay employees.
- 16:50Speaker 6: These are housekeepers, these are janitors, these are engineers, these
- 16:53Speaker 6: are security officers, these are drivers, hospitality workers, to not
- 16:58Speaker 6: be able to pay them a salary, all because somebody
- 17:01Speaker 6: wanted to politicize a system against a candidate because they
- 17:05Speaker 6: happened to be a conservative and they believed in making
- 17:07Speaker 6: America great again.
- 17:10Speaker 2: SATA, this is a story that we're hearing about the
- 17:14Speaker 2: weaponization of the private sector, not the government, the private
- 17:18Speaker 2: sector against the Trump organization. The moment that he just said,
- 17:23Speaker 2: five hundred bank acounts just shut down, I'm shocked by that.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I think you were as well.
- 17:28Speaker 4: That number.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I'd never heard anything remotely close to that. I mean,
- 17:32Speaker 3: that really is stunning. So you're running your families outside businesses,
- 17:37Speaker 3: you get these calls. What do you do when you're
- 17:40Speaker 3: given what you said, twenty four hours forty eight hours notice, Like,
- 17:44Speaker 3: were there banks that were willing to welcome your business
- 17:48Speaker 3: or what did you do with with five hundred accounts
- 17:50Speaker 3: being canceled.
- 17:51Speaker 6: You're a lot of attorney generals, and you had a
- 17:53Speaker 6: lot of government institutions that were going to these banks
- 17:55Speaker 6: and don't even think about don't touch that account. You know,
- 17:58Speaker 6: Letitia James was doing that to the bonding companies when
- 18:00Speaker 6: we had to after the initial ruling, when we had
- 18:03Speaker 6: to post a six hundred million dollar bond by the way,
- 18:06Speaker 6: that that was like five times the size of the
- 18:09Speaker 6: Boeing bond. That that made them, you know that literally
- 18:12Speaker 6: it was it was it was the biggest bond ever
- 18:14Speaker 6: seen in the country, you know. And she was going
- 18:17Speaker 6: to the very same institution saying, don't even touch that bond.
- 18:20Speaker 6: So we had to post the bond based on the
- 18:22Speaker 6: court before we had everything overturned, and she was going
- 18:24Speaker 6: to the biggest assurance company saying, you don't touch that bond.
- 18:27Speaker 6: You know, you're you're registered in New York and if
- 18:29Speaker 6: you touched that bond, I'm going to think less favorably
- 18:31Speaker 6: on you. That's how badly they weaponize the system. What
- 18:35Speaker 6: do you do when you get those letters? You want
- 18:37Speaker 6: to crawl under your desk. And honestly, I had I
- 18:39Speaker 6: had probably one hundred people in the company that didn't
- 18:42Speaker 6: sleep for a six month period of time who were distraught,
- 18:45Speaker 6: and thank god we had enough little local banks you
- 18:48Speaker 6: know that that you move all the accounts unthinkable, right
- 18:50Speaker 6: to these little local branches who want to take your money.
- 18:53Speaker 6: But these weren't the JP Morrigans, these weren't the Bank
- 18:56Speaker 6: of Americas. They were still a little They were a small,
- 18:59Speaker 6: little mom and pop regional banks that did the right
- 19:01Speaker 6: thing and honestly probably saved us based on the fact
- 19:03Speaker 6: that they were willing to do the right thing. This
- 19:05Speaker 6: didn't just happen to us. I was on the campaign trail,
- 19:08Speaker 6: I'd hear from people every single day. You know, my
- 19:10Speaker 6: bank canceled me. Why well, my company makes a spring
- 19:14Speaker 6: and the spring goes in a fishing reel, and that
- 19:16Speaker 6: fishing reel sold at bass pro shops, and bass pro
- 19:18Speaker 6: shops sells twelve games duck hunting ammo, and they thought
- 19:22Speaker 6: the affiliation. I heard this everywhere I went. I heard
- 19:25Speaker 6: it from the crypto guys. I believed in bitcoin. I
- 19:27Speaker 6: believed in stable coin. I believe in the future of
- 19:29Speaker 6: kind of modern finance. And because I believed in crypto currency,
- 19:34Speaker 6: my banks canceled me. Well, COVID canceled me, Bank of
- 19:36Speaker 6: America canceled me.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Guys.
- 19:38Speaker 6: I heard this all over the place. You know, we
- 19:41Speaker 6: need to make this illegal, and it is it's illegal
- 19:43Speaker 6: in a lot of states and under a lot of
- 19:46Speaker 6: banking clauses. But the fact that you can literally, I mean,
- 19:49Speaker 6: could you imagine if if AIGHTE and t or of
- 19:51Speaker 6: Rise and just decided to cancel all conservative cell phones.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:56Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:56Speaker 6: If you can't bank, you can't survive. If you can't bank,
- 20:00Speaker 6: you can't eat. If you can't bank, you can't pay employees.
- 20:03Speaker 6: And yet they turned us off like we were dogs.
- 20:06Speaker 2: How much money do you think that trump when you
- 20:08Speaker 2: guys were out during the four years and under siege
- 20:11Speaker 2: like this, How many business deals got blown up because
- 20:14Speaker 2: people were afraid even to just do business with you,
- 20:16Speaker 2: because they're afraid their business will be affected negatively and
- 20:19Speaker 2: they could be targeted. I'm assuming that was a reality
- 20:22Speaker 2: for quite some time.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Well, I talk a lot about it in the book.
- 20:24Speaker 6: I mean the reporters that just made their whole livelihoods.
- 20:27Speaker 6: David Farrenholdt from the Washington Post and and and others,
- 20:31Speaker 6: you know, made their entire livelihoods calling up you know,
- 20:34Speaker 6: vendors of ours, calling up our employees, calling up brides
- 20:37Speaker 6: and grooms that were gonna get married.
- 20:38Speaker 5: At one of the properties, one of the hotels.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And they were harassing people that were getting married at
- 20:44Speaker 2: Trump resorts.
- 20:45Speaker 6: Oh I have I have more emails than you can
- 20:47Speaker 6: possibly imagine. You know, I hear you're gonna go get
- 20:50Speaker 6: married at at Mr Lago. Oh really, you know this
- 20:53Speaker 6: might have to make the front cover of of our
- 20:55Speaker 6: respective paper. You know, can you please get me comment?
- 20:58Speaker 6: And these brides and grooms are saying, I just want
- 21:00Speaker 6: to get married in peace, you know, I just you know,
- 21:02Speaker 6: there's a beautiful property. I'm not a political person. I
- 21:05Speaker 6: just you know it's it's it's a five star property.
- 21:07Speaker 6: I love the place. It's convenient, my family lives nearby.
- 21:11Speaker 6: Whatever the hell of the reason they were doing that.
- 21:13Speaker 6: They were extorting employees, They were going up to employees.
- 21:16Speaker 6: They frankly tried to do it to me. Hey, you
- 21:18Speaker 6: tell us anything about Donald Trump, will let you go.
- 21:20Speaker 6: You know all the problems.
- 21:22Speaker 1: They tried to turn you against your own father.
- 21:25Speaker 6: Alvin Bragg, Are you kidding me? Cyrus vance all of them.
- 21:31Speaker 6: They they weaponized every da in and AG to try
- 21:34Speaker 6: and flip every single person to say anything negative, to
- 21:37Speaker 6: get any negative testimony against Donald Trump for their own
- 21:40Speaker 6: political purposes. Absolutely, that was the whole game. They played,
- 21:44Speaker 6: and no one in our company broke. Guys, this was
- 21:47Speaker 6: the siege that I dealt with every single day, right,
- 21:49Speaker 6: I mean it was it was all of these factors
- 21:51Speaker 6: that came together, all at once, all the time, doing
- 21:55Speaker 6: anything they could to to to just chop us off
- 21:58Speaker 6: at every single I mean, when they made up the
- 22:01Speaker 6: dirty dossier, when they made up right, I mean they
- 22:04Speaker 6: have stories about prostitution in there, about golden you know,
- 22:07Speaker 6: what's right? What do you think they were trying. They
- 22:09Speaker 6: were trying to divorce my father. They were trying to
- 22:11Speaker 6: destroy his marriage. They were trying to break up our family.
- 22:14Speaker 6: That's what they were trying to do. Also, a greedy
- 22:17Speaker 6: woman could get, you know again, two more votes. These
- 22:20Speaker 6: people are sick, These people are deranged, and there's been
- 22:22Speaker 6: zero accountability for any of it. And as a son
- 22:26Speaker 6: who fought by my father's side every single day during
- 22:29Speaker 6: this battle, somebody had to tell this story. Somebody had
- 22:32Speaker 6: to tell the inside perspective of the lens that a
- 22:35Speaker 6: corrupt government will go to besides just spying on campaigns
- 22:39Speaker 6: and despite just you know, raiding homes, you know, all
- 22:43Speaker 6: the things that they did to try and destroy us,
- 22:45Speaker 6: to try and destroy make America great again and try
- 22:47Speaker 6: and destroy conservatives all across the country.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Look, it was unmitigated evil, and it was driven part
- 22:54Speaker 3: of it was driven by hate. Today, the defining characteristic
- 22:57Speaker 3: I think of the Democrat Party is they hate your father. Yeah, uh,
- 23:01Speaker 3: and they hate your family. I mean that anything connected
- 23:04Speaker 3: to your father they hate. And I think it also, though,
- 23:08Speaker 3: was a deep contempt for democracy. I think every one
- 23:11Speaker 3: of these indictments, I think the weaponization that we saw
- 23:14Speaker 3: their underlying terror is that the voters would do what
- 23:18Speaker 3: they did in November of twenty twenty four and vote
- 23:20Speaker 3: to re elect your father. And this was all about
- 23:23Speaker 3: undermining democracy and preventing the voters from doing that. You know, Eric,
- 23:28Speaker 3: you mentioned earlier that you described yourself as as the
- 23:30Speaker 3: most subpoena man in America. How many subpoenas did you get?
- 23:34Speaker 3: And and and and did you testify a lot of times?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Were they demanding documents? What subpoenas were coming?
- 23:39Speaker 6: In one hundred twelve subpoenas. I sat in more depositions
- 23:43Speaker 6: than any human being in the history of of of
- 23:45Speaker 6: of depositions. And by the way, these are like big
- 23:47Speaker 6: boy subpoenas, right, They're all coming from you know, your
- 23:49Speaker 6: close friend Elizabeth Warren as we like to call our Pocahontas.
- 23:52Speaker 6: And in many and many others we turned over. I mean,
- 23:55Speaker 6: they would ask for document discovery, you know, please give
- 23:58Speaker 6: us every email in the company, and they would a
- 24:00Speaker 6: thousand words. But aside from that, they would list national
- 24:03Speaker 6: and international. Well, all our hotels are Trump International Hotel,
- 24:06Speaker 6: and all our golf courses are Trump National Golf Course.
- 24:08Speaker 6: You could probably see where this is going. Every email
- 24:11Speaker 6: signature of every person in the company either has the
- 24:14Speaker 6: word national or international in it. That's their fishing expedition.
- 24:17Speaker 6: I actually brought this to the Supreme Court, and the
- 24:19Speaker 6: Supreme Court specifically told them you can't fish right, and
- 24:22Speaker 6: they they did it anyway. The judges didn't give a damn.
- 24:25Speaker 6: They wanted to find any comma that was out of place,
- 24:28Speaker 6: and they couldn't. I mean, in the Letitia James trial,
- 24:32Speaker 6: literally Deutsche Bank was on the stand saying that Trump
- 24:34Speaker 6: was the best lender that they've ever had.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Right.
- 24:36Speaker 6: We made them hundreds of millions of dollars, paid off
- 24:38Speaker 6: every loan, paid it off ahead of time, never missed
- 24:41Speaker 6: a payment. Even in the darkest days of COVID, when
- 24:44Speaker 6: they made a shutdown our properties. We never missed, we
- 24:47Speaker 6: never defaulted, we never breached a covenant. And then one
- 24:50Speaker 6: day I wake up to the nightmare of your fine
- 24:52Speaker 6: six hundred million dollars for doing nothing wrong with banks
- 24:56Speaker 6: that loved us, that testified that they loved us. I
- 24:58Speaker 6: mean it was you know, and that's because you had
- 25:00Speaker 6: a crooked judge again, got overturned five zero at the
- 25:03Speaker 6: next court. But they rigged out the entire system. And
- 25:07Speaker 6: you're seeing them do that right now, right, You're seeing
- 25:09Speaker 6: them do that in Washington, DC, where ninety four percent
- 25:11Speaker 6: of the cases that go in front of the lower
- 25:13Speaker 6: Course are literally, you know, going against the administration, and
- 25:17Speaker 6: then they all have to go up on a po
- 25:19Speaker 6: and get overturned. But guys, the beautiful thing about the
- 25:21Speaker 6: story is we won, right. I mean, the media loss,
- 25:25Speaker 6: The media lost their credibility. No one likes the mainstream media.
- 25:29Speaker 6: I mean, my wife is on Fox News on a
- 25:31Speaker 6: Saturday and nine pm, and she's getting four expra ratings
- 25:35Speaker 6: of CNN on the same time slot on a Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 25:39Speaker 6: Thursday in primetime slots. Right, no one likes the mainstream media.
- 25:43Speaker 6: ABC's dead, NBC's dead, CNN's dead and independent voices like
- 25:48Speaker 6: these podcasts are winning the day.
- 25:51Speaker 3: And by the way, she is doing an awesome job.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I had a chance to be on her show, and
- 25:55Speaker 3: she's she's a great interviewer because she's relaxed, she's having fun,
- 25:58Speaker 3: she's asking real quiest questions and and it's night and day.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Uh you know, I I will occasionally do do CNN.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Poor Ben was on CNN for six seven years. I
- 26:08Speaker 3: actually think he has a padded room and he like
- 26:11Speaker 3: like puts on a straight activity remembers those.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Times fighting comedies for seven years.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Hey, listen, I just came off Caitlyn Collins about twenty
- 26:17Speaker 6: minutes ago, right, So it's not some prayers.
- 26:23Speaker 3: You know, it's it's so bad. Let me ask you
- 26:28Speaker 3: when all of this was coming in. And it is
- 26:31Speaker 3: not exaggeration to say there has never been a political
- 26:34Speaker 3: leader subject to more weaponization, more assaults, more insanely unfair
- 26:44Speaker 3: attacks than that than your father has been.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Was there ever a time that.
- 26:48Speaker 3: That that you felt yourself giving in to despair and
- 26:52Speaker 3: and and do you think your dad ever did?
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 26:54Speaker 6: Honestly, it's like we're like masochistic, We like we like
- 26:57Speaker 6: pain or something along those lines or it's like a
- 26:59Speaker 6: weird a weird trade, right, And I think it served
- 27:02Speaker 6: us well. But now I think we were so pissed
- 27:04Speaker 6: off at that point. We wanted to fight, and we
- 27:05Speaker 6: wanted to win. And we want to save the Constitution.
- 27:08Speaker 6: We want to save the American flag. We want to
- 27:09Speaker 6: save religion in society. We want to save the Second Amendment.
- 27:13Speaker 6: We want to end end wokeness. We wanted to stop
- 27:16Speaker 6: the dei nonsense. You know, men my size swimming in
- 27:20Speaker 6: women's sport. We wanted to save the greatest country in
- 27:23Speaker 6: the world against absolute lunacy.
- 27:27Speaker 5: And so we never gave up. We never stopped fighting.
- 27:29Speaker 6: We went out there and we punched back every single day,
- 27:31Speaker 6: and we did that as a family. I never left
- 27:33Speaker 6: that stage, and honestly, I've never been more proud of
- 27:35Speaker 6: a human being in my life.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Every so often something happens that reminds us just how
- 27:40Speaker 2: fragile our freedoms are. We can't afford to take our
- 27:44Speaker 2: rights for granted. We must draw a line in the sand,
- 27:47Speaker 2: and our friends at Patriot Mobile have been doing just

- 29:29Speaker 1: All right, So, our guest with us is Eric Trump, Senator.
- 29:32Speaker 2: You and I were just talking with him about this
- 29:35Speaker 2: really his family being under siege. You talked about these
- 29:38Speaker 2: big boy subpoenas part of that is to financially hurt you.
- 29:44Speaker 2: What did you, guys, spend just doing the fighting of
- 29:48Speaker 2: all the lawsuits against you during that four year period?
- 29:52Speaker 1: How much did it cost you?
- 29:54Speaker 5: Roughly four hundred million?
- 29:56Speaker 6: Yeah, guys, I laugh when people I, oh, Trump is
- 29:59Speaker 6: profiting off of go man, I go, wha wait?
- 30:01Speaker 5: Excuse me.
- 30:02Speaker 6: If you want to come in, I'll break down the finances.
- 30:04Speaker 6: You want a Trump's profit. We spent four hundred million
- 30:09Speaker 6: dollars to defend ourselves against nonsense, the fact that we
- 30:11Speaker 6: did not have secret servers communicating with the Kremlin, the
- 30:14Speaker 6: fact that Don wasn't a Russian agent.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Remember you had Adam Schiff out there every single day.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Donald Trump Junior is a Russian agent, guys, if he wasn't.
- 30:25Speaker 6: If he wasn't protected by the speech and debate laws,
- 30:28Speaker 6: you would have, honestly, the guy would have been worth
- 30:30Speaker 6: a zero. He would have been living in a shoe
- 30:31Speaker 6: box based on the fact that you would have sued
- 30:33Speaker 6: him for slander and taken everything that he ever had.
- 30:37Speaker 6: It was all made up lies. They did everything they
- 30:40Speaker 6: possibly could to take us down. We spent over four
- 30:42Speaker 6: hundred million dollars between that. You know, Letitia, you know
- 30:45Speaker 6: Alvin braggsy Vance, you know Fanny.
- 30:49Speaker 5: I mean, I could go on and on the raids
- 30:51Speaker 5: the Mara alive.
- 30:51Speaker 4: What was the worst to deal with?
- 30:52Speaker 3: Between Alvin Braggs, Sye Vance, Letitia, James jack Smith, who
- 30:56Speaker 3: was the worst?
- 30:57Speaker 5: Probably Letitia, if you want to know the truth. I mean,
- 31:01Speaker 5: it was so corrupt.
- 31:03Speaker 6: And I don't know Alvin Braggby's you had Breshawn, I
- 31:05Speaker 6: mean Judge Barshawn's daughter is like that, the head digital
- 31:08Speaker 6: fundraiser for the Democratic Party. And the guy wouldn't recuse himself,
- 31:12Speaker 6: and literally you'd be sitting in these courtrooms guys, and
- 31:14Speaker 6: I would not leave my father's side. I sat next
- 31:16Speaker 6: to him every single day. If he was there, I
- 31:19Speaker 6: was gonna be there as a son to support him,
- 31:21Speaker 6: you know, and most of the time, some of these
- 31:23Speaker 6: cases I wasn't gagged in so normally I was the
- 31:25Speaker 6: guy in the courthouse steps, you know, shouting and yelling
- 31:27Speaker 6: at the cameras as to what the hell was actually
- 31:29Speaker 6: going on, because that's the only way you could communicate
- 31:31Speaker 6: a message. But guys, I mean, you had liberal and
- 31:34Speaker 6: I mean liberal reporters who were in that courtroom shaking
- 31:37Speaker 6: their head saying none of this makes any sense. I mean,
- 31:40Speaker 6: they shut down all of Manhattan, Lower Manhattan for a
- 31:44Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollars payment that my father didn't even make,
- 31:47Speaker 6: made by a lawyer. They indicted him thirty four times.
- 31:51Speaker 6: I mean, you know, al Capone had had one fell
- 31:53Speaker 6: in the indictment. They indicted my father thirty four times
- 31:56Speaker 6: for one hundred thousand dollars payment, by the way, by
- 31:59Speaker 6: a district attorney who ran on the premise, you know,
- 32:02Speaker 6: of reducing what you know, just decriminalizing just about anything.
- 32:06Speaker 6: You know, you can shoot somebody in the face in
- 32:07Speaker 6: Times Square and it was decriminalized, and you're gonna let
- 32:10Speaker 6: them out, and you know, you're gonna have community policing
- 32:12Speaker 6: and all sorts of nonsense. I mean, he ran on
- 32:14Speaker 6: the premise of literally emptying Rikers Island, so you had
- 32:17Speaker 6: no criminals in there. Yet you know, thirty four felonies
- 32:20Speaker 6: in six month period of time is shutting down New
- 32:22Speaker 6: York in the FDR drive every day over one hundred
- 32:24Speaker 6: thousand dollars.
- 32:24Speaker 5: I mean, it wasn't believable.
- 32:26Speaker 3: If only your father were mugging people in Times Square,
- 32:30Speaker 3: then Alvin Bragg would never have prosecuted him. But instead
- 32:34Speaker 3: he committed the unspeakable sin of not only being president
- 32:37Speaker 3: of the United States, but being an extraordinarily successful and
- 32:40Speaker 3: bold president of the United States, which is an unpardonable sin.
- 32:45Speaker 3: All right, we don't have much much time left, but
- 32:47Speaker 3: I want to take it a little bit lighter and
- 32:50Speaker 3: ask what was it like?
- 32:52Speaker 4: Like?
- 32:52Speaker 3: Your father is unique. I've never in my life have
- 32:56Speaker 3: I met anyone remotely like your father. He and I
- 33:00Speaker 3: have spent a lot of time together. He has extraordinary courage.
- 33:03Speaker 3: But before he was president, what was it like growing
- 33:06Speaker 3: up as a kid with Donald Trump as your father?
- 33:09Speaker 4: Like? Like, like, how what was he like as a
- 33:11Speaker 4: dad when you were ten?
- 33:13Speaker 6: Honestly, the greatest dad you can ever imagine, expected big
- 33:16Speaker 6: things from us, right, I mean every day I go
- 33:18Speaker 6: give him kiss before I went to school. Honey, no
- 33:20Speaker 6: drink drinking, no drugs, no smoking. You better get good grades.
- 33:23Speaker 6: And by the way, never trust anybody. Right he did
- 33:25Speaker 6: once in a while I had that he never never
- 33:26Speaker 6: trust anyone. Hey, that's probably that was going to be
- 33:29Speaker 6: I said, I probably benefited us pretty well, so amazing guy.
- 33:33Speaker 6: You know, listen, we're spoiled as hell. And that we
- 33:35Speaker 6: lived in you know, Trump Tower. We had a beautiful
- 33:36Speaker 6: roof over our head. We were always well fed. We
- 33:38Speaker 6: we had the best education, but we were never handed money.
- 33:42Speaker 6: We're never handy cash. If we wanted something. If I
- 33:44Speaker 6: wanted a fishing road, congratulations, you're working for it. I
- 33:47Speaker 6: got on our construction sites when I was eleven years old,
- 33:49Speaker 6: doing demo, doing electrical HVAC you know, running back hose excavators.
- 33:54Speaker 6: You know, I grew up working with my hands on
- 33:56Speaker 6: our construction sites with many of the guys that work
- 33:58Speaker 6: for me today. And you know what, he wanted us
- 34:01Speaker 6: to learn a trait. He wanted us to learn the
- 34:03Speaker 6: value of a dollar. And by the way, he wanted
- 34:05Speaker 6: us to be tired as hell at the end of
- 34:06Speaker 6: the day. You know, because listen, don't give type A
- 34:09Speaker 6: kids or any kid, but don't give type A kids
- 34:11Speaker 6: money or free time, because bad things happen.
- 34:14Speaker 5: And he was an amazing father. He is an amazing father.
- 34:17Speaker 6: And everything we've ever done, we fought together, whether it's
- 34:20Speaker 6: real estate, whether it was The Apprentice. I was on
- 34:22Speaker 6: that for seven seasons, and then in politics. I mean
- 34:24Speaker 6: when he decided to run, he said to us, he goes,
- 34:27Speaker 6: you know, kids, let's do this. You know, I was
- 34:29Speaker 6: on Megan Kelly. I didn't know what the hell immigration was.
- 34:31Speaker 6: I mean, Senator, this was not my world. I built,
- 34:34Speaker 6: you know, hotels, and all of a sudden, I'm in the.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Middle of box, I a wall, and now you're on TV.
- 34:39Speaker 6: I've got ninety illegal immigrants around me, and I'm battling
- 34:42Speaker 6: all of them, and I don't know the first damn
- 34:43Speaker 6: thing about illegal immigration, right. I mean, like, this is
- 34:46Speaker 6: not the world that we came from. But my father's
- 34:49Speaker 6: a remarkable guy. My mother was an amazing powerhouse and strict,
- 34:53Speaker 6: demanded manners, demanded respect, demanded work ethic and either the
- 34:57Speaker 6: greatest parents you can ever imagine. I spent a lot
- 34:59Speaker 6: of time in underseaged talking about you know, being raised
- 35:01Speaker 6: by them, and you know it is unique in so
- 35:03Speaker 6: many ways, but they they did everything they could in
- 35:06Speaker 6: this strange world that we lived in, uh, to ground
- 35:09Speaker 6: us and make sure we turned out to be hard workers,
- 35:11Speaker 6: normal uh, you know, and didn't have any of these
- 35:14Speaker 6: kind of Hunter Biden esque problems. I don't have a
- 35:16Speaker 6: laptop from hell, you know, I don't do finger paintings
- 35:19Speaker 6: selling it to you know.
- 35:20Speaker 5: Foreign nationals all over the world.
- 35:22Speaker 6: You know, never married my you know, my brother's ex wife, Like,
- 35:25Speaker 6: never did that kind of stuff. No drugs, no, you know,
- 35:28Speaker 6: no perversion. I was always a good kid who believed
- 35:30Speaker 6: in God and believed in hard work and you know,
- 35:33Speaker 6: lived an honest life.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Eric, I can't tell you how many times, dozens, if
- 35:37Speaker 3: not hundreds of times people have commented that one of
- 35:40Speaker 3: the things they admire most about your dad.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Is is you and your brothers and sisters.
- 35:46Speaker 3: And listen, it is hard for for any successful person
- 35:50Speaker 3: to to raise good kids.
- 35:52Speaker 4: It's challenging. There's a lot of pressure and.
- 35:54Speaker 3: And you know, I, I know, know your entire family,
- 35:58Speaker 3: and I will say literally people early on throughout the process,
- 36:03Speaker 3: they'll comment, well, you know, somehow his kids are like,
- 36:06Speaker 3: like not messed up and incredibly successful and put together
- 36:10Speaker 3: and and I mean it's all right, let me ask you.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Let's let let's say we have some young parents that
- 36:14Speaker 3: are listening to this podcast. Are there any lessons a
- 36:18Speaker 3: young parent by the way, uh, you know Ben, Ben
- 36:21Speaker 3: has young kids, I have teenage Are there any lessons
- 36:24Speaker 3: any lessons from your dad that that young parents should
- 36:27Speaker 3: know or lessons that you've tried to apply.
- 36:30Speaker 6: Yeah, keep them poor and make them start working early. Honestly,
- 36:34Speaker 6: I mean that's what it is. Keep them poor. Don't
- 36:36Speaker 6: don't give type A kids money and don't give them
- 36:39Speaker 6: endless time. That's just a bad recipe, right, And and
- 36:43Speaker 6: you know, I can't tell you, guys how many friends
- 36:44Speaker 6: I had, you know, who were who were peers who
- 36:46Speaker 6: went to school with me, And you know, three quarters
- 36:48Speaker 6: of them ended up in rehab and and a lot
- 36:51Speaker 6: of them went down bad roads. And guess what they
- 36:52Speaker 6: were getting ferraris you know when they're you know, sixteen
- 36:55Speaker 6: years old, Like, what what do you ever want to
- 36:57Speaker 6: aspire to to to get? If if that's that's how
- 37:00Speaker 6: you're being raised? I mean, does it surprise you that
- 37:02Speaker 6: those people don't have work?
- 37:03Speaker 5: Ethic.
- 37:04Speaker 6: Does it surprise you that they go down bad roads?
- 37:06Speaker 6: And my father would never let that happen to us.
- 37:08Speaker 6: And you know, he made us work our butts off.
- 37:10Speaker 6: And believe me, if I wasn't good at what I
- 37:12Speaker 6: did real estate wise, I would not be in this chair.
- 37:15Speaker 5: I mean, forget about bapotism for a second.
- 37:17Speaker 4: It.
- 37:18Speaker 6: You know, if we weren't incredibly capable, believe me, I
- 37:20Speaker 6: wouldn't be running one of the largest real estate empires
- 37:22Speaker 6: anywhere in the world. And he made us work, and
- 37:25Speaker 6: he made us prove that we were good at what
- 37:26Speaker 6: we do, and we fought every single day. And we're
- 37:29Speaker 6: an incredibly tight family. And he's a remarkable person. He's
- 37:31Speaker 6: my best friend. I love him to death, and I'm
- 37:34Speaker 6: so proud of him, especially in a week where he's
- 37:36Speaker 6: accomplished as much as he had. I am so damn
- 37:39Speaker 6: proud of he, of what he did and what he's accomplished.
- 37:42Speaker 6: And the hell of a journey, guys, it's all worth it.
- 37:45Speaker 6: This is all worth it. The siege is all worth
- 37:47Speaker 6: it based on you know, the great things that are
- 37:50Speaker 6: happening to our country, in our world.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Grab the book Under Siege Amazon right now. Eric a pleasure.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Have you on, don't forget, grab the podcast, share wherever
