We have often prayed like orphans begging God to have mercy on us. At times we quote Ex 33:19 where God said to Moses - “...I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy...” Whilst God’s mercies are His prerogative alone, the bible declared that New Covenant believers have already receivedGod’s mercies (1 Pet 2:10). God the Father has already freely given us all things (Romans 8:32). We are therefore entreated to come with boldness to God’s throne of grace and obtain –that is to take–mercy. Heb 4:16.
