- 0:15Speaker 1: the million buck things in its tubbing me through good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve Hay listening to movie together for STU. Please, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join joining me. You gotta turn you, you gotta
- 1:24Speaker 1: turn turnout. Got the turnout? Then turn the water to
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water. Got me come come on your back. Huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will a good part. And everybody y'all listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on big me, now go on
- 2:08Speaker 1: it only see Harvey got a radio show. Um. Five
- 2:12Speaker 1: things that I know successful people have to do to
- 2:16Speaker 1: be successful. The principles are the same. You can apply
- 2:20Speaker 1: it to anything, you know, if you want to be
- 2:23Speaker 1: happily married, you know, whatever it is. The principles of
- 2:26Speaker 1: success are the same. There are a series of things
- 2:29Speaker 1: that you have to do. You cannot skip the steps
- 2:31Speaker 1: of success. If you do, you're going to have to
- 2:34Speaker 1: go back and step on them anyway. So here's here's
- 2:38Speaker 1: here's here's a part man that I want you all
- 2:41Speaker 1: to understand about me and and and about how to
- 2:45Speaker 1: look at it. You know, you cannot underestimate faith and prayer.
- 2:57Speaker 1: You just can't. You cannot underestimate the power of faith
- 3:04Speaker 1: and the power of prayer. See for me, this is
- 3:09Speaker 1: just for me. Now, This is ain't in the scripture nowhere.
- 3:12Speaker 1: This is just something I discovered. What prayer did for
- 3:15Speaker 1: me was was it tied me to my creator. It
- 3:21Speaker 1: gave me a sense and I'm describing it this way,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but I'm telling you it's deeper than this. But it
- 3:29Speaker 1: gave me a sense that I wasn't alone and an actuality.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I wasn't. But prayer helped connect me to the power
- 3:40Speaker 1: source that was available to me to get through, get around,
- 3:48Speaker 1: or get over whatever it was that was in a way,
- 3:52Speaker 1: whether it was just a period I stretched, I had
- 3:54Speaker 1: to go through hard work. It had a period I
- 3:57Speaker 1: had to go through to learn some lessons, some periods
- 4:01Speaker 1: I had to go through from having to pay for
- 4:03Speaker 1: some of the mistakes I've made. Whatever the case may be,
- 4:07Speaker 1: prayer gave me a decided advantage, especially oh here we go,
- 4:17Speaker 1: Especially over my enemies. Now, the majority of people in
- 4:23Speaker 1: my life that were my enemies, I didn't want them
- 4:25Speaker 1: to be my enemies, Make no mistake about this. But
- 4:29Speaker 1: through the thing called life, some things went down, Some
- 4:33Speaker 1: things happened from here and then went over here or
- 4:35Speaker 1: that way, and a person became my enemy. The majority
- 4:40Speaker 1: of enemies I have came out of nowhere. I have
- 4:44Speaker 1: no reason to even see why they are my enemies.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But you know, life goes on, man. It happens from
- 4:51Speaker 1: time to time. Some people just won't let it go.
- 4:54Speaker 1: See some people, in their quest to do something to
- 4:59Speaker 1: you or to make you pay, they just won't let
- 5:02Speaker 1: it go. What it may cause you some discomfort, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: some of them may be lies about you, and all
- 5:08Speaker 1: of this and all of that, but you that that
- 5:11Speaker 1: that can't prohibit you from going forward. So what I'm
- 5:14Speaker 1: saying his prayer gave me the strength, wisdom, understanding the
- 5:19Speaker 1: carriage to either go through it, go around it, or
- 5:24Speaker 1: go over it. But it happened. I do not know
- 5:29Speaker 1: how I could have made it. Without faith and without prayer.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It would have something would have got me. You two
- 5:39Speaker 1: would have got me. The bloggers would have got me.
- 5:46Speaker 1: My partners that I grew up with, that we used
- 5:49Speaker 1: to laugh behind my back. They would have got me.
- 5:54Speaker 1: My friend that would over my mother's house one time
- 5:56Speaker 1: and told her. You know what Steve's problem is? He
- 5:59Speaker 1: ought to telling them jokes. He just lazy, he don't
- 6:01Speaker 1: want to work. That would have got me. They didn't know.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I ain't really mad at him because they were just
- 6:10Speaker 1: All they was doing was basing their conversations and passing
- 6:14Speaker 1: judgment based on what they knew, based on what they believed.
- 6:19Speaker 1: They didn't believe I was gonna make it. But that's
- 6:23Speaker 1: them though. If it was not for the faith, which
- 6:27Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see, I
- 6:29Speaker 1: wouldn't have made it because I would have listened to
- 6:33Speaker 1: everybody else who didn't see me getting here and went
- 6:37Speaker 1: along with it. And then prayer. Oh my goodness, man,
- 6:43Speaker 1: how many times has prayer bailed me out? Prayer has
- 6:46Speaker 1: bailed me out, prestil belling me out. Tell you the truth, man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: quiet as its kelt. Prayer. That connection to your health, Father,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that connection to your creator, that connection to that source
- 7:04Speaker 1: of power and inspiration, that connection of never feeling that
- 7:08Speaker 1: you were alone. You know. I was watching a Bishop
- 7:10Speaker 1: Jakes on the TV yesterday and it was a repeat
- 7:15Speaker 1: and one of the things he was talking about, well,
- 7:19Speaker 1: let me just get to the gist of it. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: was going through a portion of my life and I
- 7:27Speaker 1: and I went through it for some years, y'all. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: had gotten myself into a jam that lasted for years,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you, for years, with some serious consequences to follow.
- 7:40Speaker 1: For years. And I was so busy looking at who
- 7:48Speaker 1: I was at. I was sulking sometimes, Man, I'd get
- 7:53Speaker 1: on the radio, Man, I'd be just done. I was sulking.
- 7:58Speaker 1: My my spirit had gotten low. I had gotten tired
- 8:03Speaker 1: of the fight, and I would I would come on
- 8:07Speaker 1: some mornings, man, and I will try try not to
- 8:10Speaker 1: let on, but I was hurting. I was because I
- 8:12Speaker 1: had been in it for years. Man, I had been
- 8:14Speaker 1: in this thing for years. And one thing I was doing.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was so busy looking at where I was at.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And when I was watching Bishop Jake's, he preached this sermon.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was talking about so busy looking at where you
- 8:34Speaker 1: at that you don't even realize that God has been
- 8:42Speaker 1: with you the entire time. And you know what, man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: just yesterday, just yesterday, I heard this and I text him.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I text Bishop Jake's and I thanked him because it
- 8:55Speaker 1: was an old message I could tell. And I called.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I texted him up and I said, Man, thank you
- 9:01Speaker 1: so much. I was just watching you on TV and
- 9:03Speaker 1: you told me, man, something that I that I'll always
- 9:07Speaker 1: remember that whatever you're going through, that he's there with
- 9:11Speaker 1: you the whole time. But see when sometimes when you're
- 9:15Speaker 1: so busy looking at where you at, you don't even
- 9:17Speaker 1: notice where he is. And see sometimes, man, that that
- 9:21Speaker 1: helped me and that's going to help me in the
- 9:23Speaker 1: future to realize that what I'm going through, that he's there.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He's there with me, and he gonna protect me, and
- 9:29Speaker 1: he ain't gonna let my enemies overcome me, and he
- 9:32Speaker 1: ain't gonna let nobody overtake me, and he ain't gonna
- 9:34Speaker 1: let me go under because he's there. It's just you
- 9:38Speaker 1: can't be so busy looking at where you at that
- 9:40Speaker 1: you don't take notice or where he at. God is
- 9:42Speaker 1: always there, He's always available, And the best way to
- 9:46Speaker 1: tap into that and know it is you got to pray.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Prayer has changed my life. Prayer can change your life.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You can become something if you just pray. You're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: to show today today is the day that the Lord
- 10:06Speaker 1: has made. Let us rejoice and be glad to hit it.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And today Steve Harvey is glad in it. Man. I'm
- 10:14Speaker 1: inviting y'all to do the same thing. Listen, if you
- 10:17Speaker 1: one of those people that wakes up in the morning
- 10:19Speaker 1: then says I am not a morning person. I want
- 10:22Speaker 1: you to stop doing that immediately. Man, stop breathing that
- 10:26Speaker 1: negativity into the opening of every single one of your days.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Why would you claim to not be a morning person
- 10:34Speaker 1: when the whole goal is to wake up in the morning.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I am a morning person. I look forward to God's
- 10:42Speaker 1: goodness of waking me up. You woke up today. Why
- 10:45Speaker 1: would you not be a morning person. Don't mess around
- 10:48Speaker 1: and get that blessing took for you because you to
- 10:50Speaker 1: talk to yourself out of it. This is a great
- 10:52Speaker 1: day to day. Let's get it gone. Let's get it cracking.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I don't personally care what they do in Washington, DC,
- 10:59Speaker 1: because you know what, I've already got to figured out.
- 11:02Speaker 1: God is in control of this thing him. Man, you
- 11:05Speaker 1: can talk about you ain't moving, you ain't leaving. You're
- 11:08Speaker 1: gonna fight the process. Fight it, partner, when you get
- 11:12Speaker 1: through fighting it. It is good to have friends that
- 11:16Speaker 1: have trucks, because on moving day is good. He got
- 11:23Speaker 1: a lot of friends with trucks, all them Trump trucks.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Is good to have friends with trucks. He ain't got
- 11:29Speaker 1: the high Pinsky, you haul none of that rider. He
- 11:32Speaker 1: can just call his friends. They can pull up with
- 11:35Speaker 1: them flags and everything. Okay. So I took a good
- 11:38Speaker 1: message and turned it into that message. And for that, Lord,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I asked you to forgive me. But you made me
- 11:45Speaker 1: the food that I am, and I thank you for it.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Sirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning. Your head is nice and
- 11:52Speaker 1: shiny today, looking good on zoom. Hi calling for Rell.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Good morning? What's up crew? Happy peas day, nephew, Tim
- 12:01Speaker 1: it top top but it dude, baby, that's ship. We're
- 12:05Speaker 1: here here. I'm yeah. I'm on a group text with
- 12:12Speaker 1: some sixty year old men and I gotta tell you, man,
- 12:16Speaker 1: it's interesting. It is really really interesting. Uh what's y'all
- 12:22Speaker 1: be talking about? Mostly health in the election, and they
- 12:27Speaker 1: all text uh very badly. Like what I got one
- 12:33Speaker 1: partner who loved a cuss He my favorite when he texted.
- 12:37Speaker 1: All his texts is all cussing. Well, how do they
- 12:40Speaker 1: feel about the election? How did they feel about the election? Ah?
- 12:46Speaker 1: They were the last texts morning is where it's this
- 12:48Speaker 1: country headed? And then one of my brothers said, only God,
- 12:53Speaker 1: No God in small letters and no with no ass
- 12:58Speaker 1: on it. Wait, are you correcting someone's grammar? You know?
- 13:09Speaker 1: If you know if I'm entertained this bad? Now I
- 13:12Speaker 1: get why you say it was interesting man if he's
- 13:17Speaker 1: a grammar teacher. Yeah, yeah, But it's good to continue
- 13:25Speaker 1: having your friends, you know. Oh I got I got
- 13:28Speaker 1: twelve friends from back in the day. Boy. Yeah, that's
- 13:31Speaker 1: pretty strong. That's what's up A good thing? All right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: get ready to go rogue with ask the clo. That's
- 13:40Speaker 1: a thirty two minutes as to the hour right after this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. Okay, let's talk about
- 13:49Speaker 1: risks that reached rewards. In other words, when going rogue
- 13:53Speaker 1: goes right? How about that powered by the super stylish
- 13:56Speaker 1: twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue. So, Steve, we gotta ask
- 14:00Speaker 1: you please, you have such a great stories. Tell us
- 14:02Speaker 1: about when going rogue went right for you. My whole
- 14:06Speaker 1: life been rolled. Yes, life, I've always gone against the grade.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I've always traveled the unbeaten path. I take the rough road.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I haven't had a machette in my head. My whole
- 14:23Speaker 1: life been rolled. Everything I do, I have made a
- 14:28Speaker 1: decision that had caused me to go through a rough
- 14:32Speaker 1: road and come out on another side smooth. Yes, and
- 14:39Speaker 1: you can win without going roll. Let's suck that. I
- 14:47Speaker 1: like it. Well, let's keep it going, Steve. Let's go
- 14:49Speaker 1: Rogue with your favorite segment. It's called Ask the Clo.
- 14:52Speaker 1: The Chief Love Office of the Cloe is the Nephew
- 14:55Speaker 1: calls it. It's being sponsored today by the all new
- 14:58Speaker 1: twenty twenty one Niece on Rogue. Now, this one CLO
- 15:02Speaker 1: is from Tucker in DC. Tucker says, I'm in my
- 15:05Speaker 1: mid fifties and I'm dating a woman that is thirteen
- 15:08Speaker 1: years younger than I am. She is very outgoing and
- 15:11Speaker 1: likes to be the life of the party wherever we are.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I am more reserved, so I let her do her thing.
- 15:17Speaker 1: But she's got to have it of flirting with men
- 15:19Speaker 1: in my face. She loves the attention and she doesn't
- 15:23Speaker 1: see it as flirting. I've talked till I'm blue in
- 15:26Speaker 1: the face, and I get irritated when she says I'm jealous.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's sort of emasculating to me. Am I overthinking this? Hey,
- 15:34Speaker 1: don't won't you date somebody else? It doesn't flirt in
- 15:39Speaker 1: your face? Listen to me, man, it's not hard to
- 15:41Speaker 1: find some women out here. Why don't you date somebody else?
- 15:45Speaker 1: She thirteen years younger than you. You know, obviously she
- 15:49Speaker 1: into you for some other reason, and so now she
- 15:53Speaker 1: all in all these other men's But I'm not gonna
- 15:55Speaker 1: beg no woman not to get in no man's face.
- 15:57Speaker 1: If I got to beg you to stay out somebody's face,
- 15:59Speaker 1: how about you just get out of mine and you
- 16:00Speaker 1: can get in all the faces. You won't. You're dripping doll.
- 16:04Speaker 1: She ain't debt fly. You can't get another one of them. Doc,
- 16:08Speaker 1: have you been on Instagram? Get the scrolling and change
- 16:16Speaker 1: your life and get with young since you thank you
- 16:19Speaker 1: young anyway, She thirteen years learn how to DM man
- 16:22Speaker 1: change your life around. Come on, Tucker, that was good advice, Steve,
- 16:27Speaker 1: all right, This is from Angora, an iHeartRadio app listener.
- 16:30Speaker 1: She says, I've been dating a man for a little
- 16:33Speaker 1: over four months, and I may have to break up
- 16:35Speaker 1: with him because his house is so nasty. When you
- 16:39Speaker 1: walk in his back door, shoes are all over the
- 16:42Speaker 1: floor because he steps out of them as soon as
- 16:44Speaker 1: he walks in. In the kitchen, you can smell something
- 16:47Speaker 1: that isn't quite right, and the din area looks like
- 16:51Speaker 1: a war zone. I've only been to his house twice
- 16:54Speaker 1: in four months, and I make up excuses so I
- 16:56Speaker 1: don't have to go back. I joked about him being
- 16:58Speaker 1: a bachelor and offered to get his place clean, but
- 17:02Speaker 1: he declined. How do you tell someone that they're just nasty? Hill? Hey, baby,
- 17:08Speaker 1: coming over tonight. I don't want to come by your house.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Why because I don't like stepping over shoes at the
- 17:16Speaker 1: back door, and I don't know what that smell is
- 17:19Speaker 1: in now and before I find out it's the last
- 17:22Speaker 1: one of your exes that complained about this house, and
- 17:25Speaker 1: now she buried under the kitchen cabinet. I don't want
- 17:28Speaker 1: to come over there. She's there, she's buried. It's a smell.
- 17:34Speaker 1: She don't know what it is. Somebody else is saying
- 17:37Speaker 1: something about this fun house and you don't know what
- 17:42Speaker 1: that smell is. The smell that you don't know what
- 17:45Speaker 1: it is. Usually it costs, that's what it is. Simple. Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I ain't really with that, man, I gonna know. Yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 1: nobody got to tolerate that. It's only been four months.
- 18:00Speaker 1: That's a deal breaker for me. Well, you know, you
- 18:02Speaker 1: know now if a man is willing to allow you
- 18:06Speaker 1: to come in and help him, you know, and straighten
- 18:08Speaker 1: his life out. Because dudes, we could be trifling at times. Now, Yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 1: that's true. Even the great germophobic nephew Tommy can be
- 18:17Speaker 1: trifling at times, the great germophobe. Yeah, everybody's slipping in ninety.
- 18:24Speaker 1: All right, we're moving on. Marissa in Chicago says I'm
- 18:27Speaker 1: dating the most immature forty year old on the planet.
- 18:30Speaker 1: He's got a great job, and he's very professional until
- 18:34Speaker 1: he gets around his ignorant friends and they start talking nonsense. Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I found out after the fact that he voted for
- 18:41Speaker 1: Kanye for president. Since from Chicago, please, he said, it's
- 18:48Speaker 1: nobody's business but his, and he wanted to show Kanye
- 18:52Speaker 1: that his home team had his back. I was so
- 18:55Speaker 1: mad that I almost called it quits right there and
- 18:57Speaker 1: right then and there. I love this man, but I
- 19:00Speaker 1: I don't like how he thinks and how easily influenced
- 19:03Speaker 1: he is. Should I reevaluate this relationship before I consider marriage. Yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: you have to. You have to. Anybody that voted for Kanye,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you have to reconsider the relationship. It's a dude that
- 19:16Speaker 1: I didn't quit speaking to I don't see just this
- 19:22Speaker 1: is called this a rogue story. Right here, a dude
- 19:28Speaker 1: told me I'm voting for Kanye because he's the only
- 19:32Speaker 1: one I like on the ticket. I went, what, Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I should have went, Uh, he's the only one you
- 19:43Speaker 1: like on the ticket. Well, hold on, bro, bro, bro,
- 19:48Speaker 1: bro bro, this election, we ain't voting for who we
- 19:50Speaker 1: like on this ticket. We're voting for who the hell
- 19:54Speaker 1: we don't like. Yes, that's what we're doing on this
- 19:57Speaker 1: head ticket. You need to find another way to explain it.
- 20:00Speaker 1: And your old ass is way too old to be
- 20:03Speaker 1: thinking like this. Sixty Yeah, wasted votes. Yeah, you don't
- 20:08Speaker 1: even know two Kanye songs. Hello show, old ass. Yeah,
- 20:17Speaker 1: this is not a joke. Our lives are not jokes.
- 20:20Speaker 1: This is real. You got to reevaluate this guy right here,
- 20:24Speaker 1: because that type of thought process is going to carry
- 20:26Speaker 1: over into some other lines of areas of the relationship
- 20:31Speaker 1: immaturity stuff. Yeah yeah, yeah, And he's forty. Steve, your
- 20:36Speaker 1: friend is sixty too, like the sixty ye old friends,
- 20:39Speaker 1: no exception. Yeah, to let his hometown know, to let
- 20:43Speaker 1: him know that his hometown has his back, Kanye, Kanye
- 20:48Speaker 1: didn't get no damn election results. Ain't nobody mentioned Kanye
- 20:54Speaker 1: this whole damn time. Have you heard Kanye name since Sady,
- 20:57Speaker 1: since November three? Have you heard his week ago? A
- 21:01Speaker 1: wee man? Come on, man, what's wrong without He may
- 21:06Speaker 1: have voted for Kanye, but Illinois it was blue. Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and we got some business to take care of in Georgia. Yes. Now,
- 21:17Speaker 1: for all those people that think that it was a fluke,
- 21:20Speaker 1: what happened in Georgia, I want you to pay very
- 21:23Speaker 1: close attention because we're going to show you something about
- 21:26Speaker 1: this vote in Atlanta to cab County in Fulton. We
- 21:29Speaker 1: finish show you something, all right, run that prank with
- 21:32Speaker 1: the nephew. Right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 21:36Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:39Speaker 1: In national news romance between Trump and Fox News. Oh
- 21:44Speaker 1: might just be over uh doctor byeah Yeah, Doctor Ben
- 21:49Speaker 1: Carson is the latest Trump official to test positive for
- 21:53Speaker 1: COVID nineteen plus. An entertainment news Cardi Bat claps back
- 21:57Speaker 1: at conservatives. We'll talk about all these stories at the
- 22:00Speaker 1: top of the hour, but right now, the nephew, it's
- 22:02Speaker 1: here to run that break back. What you got for
- 22:04Speaker 1: his nav your wife in the limo. Your wife in
- 22:13Speaker 1: the limo. Let's go stupid. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:19Speaker 1: h I'm trying to read Rob Robert, Robert. What's up? Boss? Hey? Hey?
- 22:25Speaker 1: How you doing? Hey? Hey, listen, man, my name is
- 22:28Speaker 1: Field Dog. I know you threw some other people. Your brother, right, yeah,

- 30:18Speaker 1: and who knows who could pop up? Thanks Nephew Entertainment
- 30:22Speaker 1: and National News. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 30:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Support of Donald Trump from Fox
- 30:32Speaker 1: News has changed just a little bit. On Monday, the
- 30:36Speaker 1: network cut away from a press conference in which White
- 30:38Speaker 1: House Press Secretary Kaylee mcinanny accused Democrats of welcoming illegal
- 30:44Speaker 1: voting in fraud. As a network cut away from the
- 30:47Speaker 1: press conference in DC, Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto said
- 30:52Speaker 1: she is charging that the other side is welcoming fraud
- 30:56Speaker 1: and welcoming illegal voting. Unless she has more details to
- 30:59Speaker 1: back it up, I can't and good continents continue showing
- 31:03Speaker 1: you this. Wow, that is a switch on from foxing.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You know what, man, Yeah, listen, you know mister mccollin,
- 31:13Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham that came out talking about this election was
- 31:15Speaker 1: stolen on a fraud. You you didn't gonna norway at
- 31:19Speaker 1: the whole democratic system here. There's nothing wrong. Look, man,
- 31:24Speaker 1: you may find a dead person, got a ballot in
- 31:27Speaker 1: somewhere or something like that. That happens every election, but
- 31:30Speaker 1: nothing that can affect the change. When you lose by
- 31:33Speaker 1: thirty thousand votes, ain't nobody fitting to find No, damn
- 31:36Speaker 1: thirty thousand votes, ain't nobody fitting the fine ten dog,
- 31:40Speaker 1: this is hundreds when you're talking about Florida was changed
- 31:44Speaker 1: because of five hundred some votes that time, and then
- 31:49Speaker 1: you're not fitting find tens of thousands of no damn votes.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Nowhere Republicans and Democrats count the same ballot. Each ballot
- 31:57Speaker 1: is counted by a Republican and a dem crap and
- 32:01Speaker 1: most of them have an independent person there. And you
- 32:03Speaker 1: got the supervisors and you gotta put stuff in the computer. Man,
- 32:07Speaker 1: miss me with that, I don't get this process. And
- 32:10Speaker 1: in January, man, your ass got to move. But before
- 32:13Speaker 1: you move, we have a parting gift for you in Georgia.
- 32:17Speaker 1: We are going to let you move with two Senate
- 32:21Speaker 1: seats gone with your ass. You when you leave in January,
- 32:26Speaker 1: take these two Senate seats with your ass. That's I
- 32:29Speaker 1: want that to be our gift to Donald Trump in Georgia.
- 32:34Speaker 1: And we're gonna show up in Georgia. Man, you thought
- 32:36Speaker 1: it was a fluke, but we got news for you. No, sir,
- 32:39Speaker 1: we really did vote. And yes, sir, it really came
- 32:43Speaker 1: down to Atlanta, it really came down to Savannah. It
- 32:47Speaker 1: really came down to Columbus, Georgia. It really did. Dog.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It came down to the cab County, Fulton County. It
- 32:54Speaker 1: really did, man, it really did. Black lives don't matter,
- 32:58Speaker 1: but I better do now to you. But jos saying
- 33:01Speaker 1: in the White House cause us right, I was Urban
- 33:07Speaker 1: Development Secretary Head secretary Doctor Ben Carson testified tested positive
- 33:13Speaker 1: for coronavirus yesterday. He's in good spirits and went to
- 33:16Speaker 1: Walter Reed Hospital for treatment. So another one. Um, I
- 33:22Speaker 1: like being Carson. You make a lot of mistakes, but
- 33:26Speaker 1: he do. He got a good heart. He just make
- 33:29Speaker 1: a lot of mistakes. I like being Carson, and I
- 33:34Speaker 1: wish him well man, nice guy, really nice. I don't
- 33:37Speaker 1: wish COVID on nobody. No, well, I can't. I can't
- 33:41Speaker 1: say you know what you can't. We're moving on. Finally,
- 33:47Speaker 1: an entertainment is Cardie b is clasping back at conservative critics. Uh.
- 33:53Speaker 1: These critics tried to claim that Cardie b is just
- 33:55Speaker 1: a pawn for Joe Biden after she interviewed the now
- 33:59Speaker 1: President elect Joe Biden. Cardie be posted on Instagram a
- 34:03Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago, I was getting chewed up by
- 34:05Speaker 1: Trump supporters over this interview. Republicans made fun of me,
- 34:08Speaker 1: talk so much trash about me and my song wop.
- 34:12Speaker 1: They said Biden used me as a pawn CARTI went
- 34:15Speaker 1: on to say, I'm so proud of all these celebs
- 34:17Speaker 1: who use their platform and for the people who went
- 34:20Speaker 1: out and voted, we did it. Don't let anybody downplay
- 34:24Speaker 1: you for what you're doing. That's how they try to
- 34:27Speaker 1: take away your power. Your power is your voice. This
- 34:30Speaker 1: is from cart Listen to me. It's a pond as
- 34:35Speaker 1: long as as long as it's against you, ain't. Nobody
- 34:40Speaker 1: said nothing about these buttholes that's supporting Trump. You know,
- 34:45Speaker 1: it's celebrities that support Trump. Oh yeah, plenty of them.
- 34:49Speaker 1: You know his friend that runs to UFC. Yeah, he's
- 34:53Speaker 1: a big Trump boy and you only said nothing to him.
- 34:58Speaker 1: James Woods, that actor, Yeah, you know, uh, Clint eas Wood,
- 35:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'll think of a Yeah, Ray Donovan's daddy.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I can't think it's really Republican. Yeah, it's a lot
- 35:16Speaker 1: of that. They not pawns. Listen to me, man, you
- 35:20Speaker 1: have a right to want who you want, and if
- 35:22Speaker 1: you're a celebrity, don't stop you from wanting who you want.
- 35:26Speaker 1: That's the Republicans, man. Listen, Harriet, up with these damn lawsuits.
- 35:32Speaker 1: What you've got money, you use lawsuits, right the president?
- 35:38Speaker 1: That not be the taxpayer's money. One. Yeah, and Biden's
- 35:44Speaker 1: team is considering legal action because they won't, you know,
- 35:47Speaker 1: give him money for the transition, and they won't recognize
- 35:50Speaker 1: that he's a president elect and help with the transition
- 35:55Speaker 1: of their own. I don't expect Donald Trump to do
- 35:59Speaker 1: anything correct. Just let's get him out and as a
- 36:04Speaker 1: parting gift, let's sending them two Senate seats from Georgia
- 36:09Speaker 1: with his ass. Ye. See that that's how you really
- 36:12Speaker 1: do it. M that is so very true. That's very true.
- 36:17Speaker 1: And these Republicans that are talking about Mitch McConnell yesterday
- 36:21Speaker 1: about the ballots, and your name was on the same
- 36:24Speaker 1: ballot that people voted on. So something wrong with the ballot.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Prove it. Yeah, this is one lie that the president
- 36:31Speaker 1: has to tell and he has to have proof. Once
- 36:35Speaker 1: you file a lawsuit, you have to have proof. Yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 1: that's truly. Yeah, that's true. But you know what they're
- 36:42Speaker 1: doing right now. They're trying to pay some people off,
- 36:47Speaker 1: dig something up. And if you don't think that, the
- 36:50Speaker 1: Arizona vote then slowed down because his machine is over
- 36:54Speaker 1: there slowing it down. Oh man, y'all need to come on.
- 36:58Speaker 1: But when you get through the true gonna in on
- 37:00Speaker 1: this right here, stay all right, coming up Carla's rogue attitude.
- 37:06Speaker 1: And we're going to the phone's eight seven seven twenty nine,
- 37:09Speaker 1: Steve call us right after this. You're listening to the
- 37:12Speaker 1: stew all. Right, everybody, it is time to go rogue. Carla.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I know you got a great rogue story. When did
- 37:20Speaker 1: you go rogue? Let's hear it, girl, Okay, girl, let
- 37:24Speaker 1: me see. Let me tell you, y'all. It was back
- 37:25Speaker 1: in two thousand and five. I was living in New
- 37:28Speaker 1: Orleans and I got a phone call from this famous comedian,
- 37:34Speaker 1: King of comedy. He called me and told me to
- 37:39Speaker 1: come and work for him so we could have the
- 37:43Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. I was already working
- 37:48Speaker 1: in radio, you know, I had a crime job, and
- 37:50Speaker 1: everybody was like, you're gonna leave your job to go
- 37:54Speaker 1: work for the King of comedy Steve Harvey. Yes, I am, baby,
- 37:59Speaker 1: And that was seen years ago. We are the baddest
- 38:04Speaker 1: radio showing the last go rogue. I told him. I
- 38:08Speaker 1: tried to toll them, Hey, Carlins, they should have went
- 38:11Speaker 1: rogue with you. Hello. That's right, Steven. Here we are
- 38:17Speaker 1: still killing it in the game. The all new twenty
- 38:20Speaker 1: twenty one Nissan Rogue is built for adventure. I just
- 38:24Speaker 1: told you about my adventure with five different drive modes
- 38:28Speaker 1: that could take you anywhere. Let's go rogue. Yeah, all right,
- 38:33Speaker 1: thank you, Carla. Now let's go rogue. From going rogue,
- 38:36Speaker 1: We're gonna go to the phones. Call us eight seven
- 38:39Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve, eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Let's go to line one and talk to Gavin out
- 38:45Speaker 1: of Dallas. Hey, Gavin, Hey, how you doing, Steve? What's
- 38:50Speaker 1: going on, Gavin? What's on your mind? Well, I'll tell
- 38:54Speaker 1: you what. We're all doing good right now. But I
- 38:57Speaker 1: just wanted to drop a few points about this whole
- 38:59Speaker 1: situation you got. You gotta really look at the situation
- 39:04Speaker 1: and Adma Trump because this is probably arguably one of
- 39:08Speaker 1: the most powerful people we've seen in decades. The fact
- 39:13Speaker 1: that he got away with everything that he got away
- 39:17Speaker 1: with and half the country still almost put him back
- 39:21Speaker 1: in office is amazing. It's amazing because he did everything wrong.
- 39:27Speaker 1: He was He actually promoted racism. The guy I didn't
- 39:33Speaker 1: want to be president. He wanted to bet right. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 1: well see, I give I give, I give you all
- 39:42Speaker 1: of that, but but let me put a little spin
- 39:45Speaker 1: on what you say. No, brother, he bullied his way,
- 39:50Speaker 1: he intimidated people, he played on the cowardice of the masses,
- 39:57Speaker 1: and then he unpeeled the banes an. That is a miracle.
- 40:04Speaker 1: That's all he did. What you're saying, Yeah, he just
- 40:07Speaker 1: unpeeled the banana that he is America. We always knew
- 40:10Speaker 1: it was there, right, they just wouldn't unpeel it. Right.
- 40:13Speaker 1: He just peeled it back and we found out what
- 40:16Speaker 1: it was. But love is stronger than hate. Seventy five
- 40:19Speaker 1: million people said no, sir. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 40:23Speaker 1: more calls after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 40:27Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up next hour. Atlanta's mayor Kesha Lance Bottoms.
- 40:34Speaker 1: We love her. She will be our special guests. Can't
- 40:37Speaker 1: wait to have her because they're still more voting to
- 40:40Speaker 1: do in Georgia. Yes, we have not completed our mission.
- 40:45Speaker 1: But right now, let's talk to the people. Steve. Let's
- 40:47Speaker 1: go to the phones. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 40:50Speaker 1: Let's go to line two and talk to Anne from Jacksonville, Florida. Hello,
- 40:55Speaker 1: Anne out of Florida. Hey, how you doing, Steve? Good
- 40:59Speaker 1: morning everybody. I just wanted guy and I want you
- 41:04Speaker 1: to help give me help me to give a shout out.
- 41:07Speaker 1: But my Duke Balian, we turned du ball bloom and
- 41:13Speaker 1: it hadn't been bloom. Jimmy Carr, whoa. We didn't take them,
- 41:24Speaker 1: but we did take goo b welcongratulations. That's big. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 1: you know. I like it when I hear people are engaged. Yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: that's that's so big for us, man. I think, and
- 41:42Speaker 1: I think this election really showed us that that if
- 41:45Speaker 1: we get engaged, we can change things. I sat there
- 41:48Speaker 1: and watched it. I watched them go to Wayne County
- 41:51Speaker 1: in Detroit. I watched them come down here to food

- 55:14Speaker 1: the way, just letting you know. Thank you, nephew. Subject.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I have to watch my back now. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I'm a thirty year old black man and I grew
- 55:22Speaker 1: up in a middle class family. But I had a
- 55:25Speaker 1: lot of friends. A lot of my friends were from
- 55:27Speaker 1: different backgrounds because I'd meet them playing sports or hanging out.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I went to college and came back home and realized
- 55:35Speaker 1: I'd outgrown a lot of my friends because they were
- 55:37Speaker 1: still living at home with their parents and didn't have
- 55:40Speaker 1: a real plan for their lives. I had one best
- 55:44Speaker 1: friend since the seventh grade, and he was from the
- 55:47Speaker 1: hood and always loved to brag about it when we
- 55:50Speaker 1: were younger. He was always fighting when we were young,
- 55:53Speaker 1: and he was nice with his hand, so I never
- 55:56Speaker 1: wanted to make him mad back then. Although we're very
- 55:59Speaker 1: different now. We used to hang out often until a
- 56:02Speaker 1: month ago. We got into a big debate over something stupid,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and he said he was tired of talking, and he
- 56:08Speaker 1: punched me in the face. I hit the ground hard,
- 56:12Speaker 1: and I stayed there for a minute to catch my breath.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Then I got up and I put in work on him.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I slammed him to the ground and went crazy on him.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I walked away and left him lying on the ground.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I was hurt pretty bad myself, so it took me
- 56:28Speaker 1: a few days to come to my senses and realize
- 56:31Speaker 1: that we were too old to be acting like that.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I tried calling him to work it out, but he
- 56:36Speaker 1: didn't answer. His mom called me back and she was
- 56:39Speaker 1: angry with me. Her exact words were, he ain't friends
- 56:43Speaker 1: with you no more because you whipped his ass and
- 56:48Speaker 1: everyone around here knows it, and they're looking for you.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I was shocked and afraid. I don't know what kind
- 56:55Speaker 1: of goons he's got looking for me, So I have
- 56:57Speaker 1: to watch my back. How can I settle things with
- 56:59Speaker 1: him like a man before I get jumped on? Well,
- 57:03Speaker 1: I think it's too late for that, I really do.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I don't think you're gonna be able to settle this
- 57:08Speaker 1: like a man right now, because this guy won't. You know,
- 57:12Speaker 1: he doesn't want to do anymore talking. He didn't want
- 57:14Speaker 1: to hear what you had to say when he clocked
- 57:16Speaker 1: you the first time. And yeah, I think you shocked
- 57:21Speaker 1: him though, when you fought back and beat him down.
- 57:24Speaker 1: And that's the problem. I'm sure he was embarrassed, and
- 57:27Speaker 1: now he's out for blood and the next time it
- 57:29Speaker 1: won't be such a clean fight. He told his mama though,
- 57:33Speaker 1: what that's kind of Yeah, I bet he didn't tell
- 57:40Speaker 1: that he made the first move, that he started all
- 57:42Speaker 1: of this. I say, yeah, you definitely need to watch
- 57:46Speaker 1: your back now. This doesn't sound good for you. I mean,
- 57:48Speaker 1: I don't want to see anybody get hurt or worse
- 57:51Speaker 1: or anything like that. But you fought him fair and square,
- 57:54Speaker 1: sounds like. But obviously he doesn't see it that way.
- 57:57Speaker 1: He knows that if he fights you by himself, he
- 57:59Speaker 1: can't when that's why his boys are looking for you too.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I just say, be careful and watch your back for sure, Steve.
- 58:09Speaker 1: You know this is my kind of letter right now,
- 58:13Speaker 1: and that's what I'm was gonna go on and get
- 58:15Speaker 1: into a thirty ye old black dude grew up in
- 58:18Speaker 1: a middle class family, had lots of friends right there
- 58:24Speaker 1: as sweating. See see this way your letter starts, you
- 58:29Speaker 1: start learning the lessons in life. You thirty had a
- 58:33Speaker 1: lot of friends. Ain't nobody got a lot of friends?
- 58:38Speaker 1: And you find that out in your own damn letter.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So you ain't got a lot of friends, bro. You
- 58:44Speaker 1: might have grew up middle class and all that know
- 58:46Speaker 1: a lot of people. You know a lot of people.
- 58:48Speaker 1: You do not have a lot of friends, right, A
- 58:51Speaker 1: lot of friends from different backgrounds. You meet them playing
- 58:53Speaker 1: sports and hanging out. That's cool. Went to college and
- 58:56Speaker 1: came back home. Realize you just outgrew a lot of
- 59:00Speaker 1: your friends because they were still living at home with
- 59:02Speaker 1: their parents and didn't have a real plan for their lives.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Now you thirty, now, so I'm assuming that you just
- 59:10Speaker 1: telling me you had outgrew your friends back in the day.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Even you knew that when you came home from college.
- 59:16Speaker 1: So I'm assuming you're not thirty and just now coming
- 59:19Speaker 1: out of college. But you you have gone back home
- 59:22Speaker 1: and you live in the area, and all this here
- 59:24Speaker 1: right anyway, And you had one best friend since seventh grade.
- 59:30Speaker 1: He was from the hood and he loved a brag
- 59:32Speaker 1: about it when we were younger. All right, I got
- 59:34Speaker 1: that I'm from the hood. You don't miss with me.
- 59:37Speaker 1: He was always fighting when we was young, and he
- 59:39Speaker 1: was nice with his hands, so I never wanted to
- 59:42Speaker 1: make him mad back there. Oh you were nice. That
- 59:46Speaker 1: was my favorite line in this whole letter. He was
- 59:49Speaker 1: nice with his hands. See those days are gone, though. Yeah.
- 59:54Speaker 1: They ain't nice with their hands no more. They quick
- 59:57Speaker 1: on the trigger, which is really sad, man, because it's
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: less it's it's less macho. You know, you could be
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: friends and have a fist fight with your buddy and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the next day y'all speak all my guys that I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: grew up fighting. We're still cool because we fist fall.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: We had nice hands, so I understand that. But anyway,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: things is very different now because you're thirty. Yeah, y'all
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: used to hang out often until about a month ago.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You got into a big debate over something stupid. Don't
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: know what that was. He said, he was tired of talking.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: He punched me face. That's all what we're hugging. Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: we arguing. We're back and forth. I know exactly what happened.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: And you got tired of arguing. They punch you in
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: the face. Let me tell you what happened. The cussing
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: term F you. F you can only go back. It's
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a maximum of three times, and then it changes. You
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: could go f you, then your partner can say f you.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Then you could say f you one more time. After that,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: somebody got to get their ass knocked out. Oh it's three.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: It's only Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: after tell you What more Strawberry Letter. After you're listening
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to show, all right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. The subject I have to watch my back now. Well,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: the brothers said, I gotta watch the thirty year old dude.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Man grew up in a middle class family, had a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: lot of friends. That's his problem, thinking you got a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: lot of friends. Nobody has a lot of friends, but
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they're from different backgrounds. You meet them playing sports and
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: hanging out. You went to college, came back home, realized
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you'd outgrown a lot of your friends because they were
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: still living the home with their parents and didn't have
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a real plan for their life. Okay, cool, bro, Right,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: there is the problem. You've outgrown your friends. Sometimes people
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: in your life just for a season. Man, you everybody
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: come with you can't go, Which'll have said just one
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: hundred times on the show. You young brother. Now you're
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: running into this thing we call life. I had one
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: best friend for the seventh grade. He was from the hood,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: and he was always fighting when we was young because
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: he had nice hands. Okay, so he could fight. Should
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: have been a boxing might have turned in the hundreds
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: of millions of dogs. No stupid as stayed at the house,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: so I never wanted to make him mad back then.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: And although we are very different now, we used to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: hang out often until a month ago. Now here's what happened, y'all.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: We got into a big debate over something stupid. Now
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. Could have been politics
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: going on right now, could have been something t I said.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: And you know, one of them, they probably arguing about
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: ice cube or fifty cent. You never know what they
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: was aguing about. It was something stupid, but they Yeah,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: they got into it. He said he was tired of talking,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: and he punched me in my face. I know exactly
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: what the apple I'm telling you, man, because dudes can't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: argue that long. The f you had gone back and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: forth maximum three four times max. Then after that the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: punch got thrown. So he sucker punch your dude because
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he ignorant and you've outgrown your friends and you're different now,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: and now your friends ain't. So he just sucker punch
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you in your face. You hit the ground pretty hard,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: stayed there, caught your breath. Then when you got up,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: this is why I'm proud of you. Went to work.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I put it in work on him. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: slammed him to the ground. When crazy on him, I
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: walked away, left him laying on the ground. Was hurt
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: pretty bad myself, So it took me a few days
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to come to my senses and realize we too old
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: to be acting like that. Yeah, so you he tried
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: calling him to work it out, but he didn't answer.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: And as mama called me back, and she was angry
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: with me, and her exact words where he ain't friends
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: with you no more because you whipped his ass? What man,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: his mama, y'all thirty? His mama called you back and
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: said he not friends with you no more because you
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: whooped his hands. Now, first of all, I know why
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: is mama called back? Because he stayed with her. Yeah,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: he stayed at his mama's house. So you just said
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: a lot of your friends are stuck in that position.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I got some advice for you in the minute, young man.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: So now, as mama called back, he mad at you.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: But see what you don't know is the mama mad
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: at you too. Yeah. Uh, he ain't friends with you,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: know more, because you whipped his ass. And everybody around
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: here know it, and they're looking for you. Excuse me,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: let me, let me, let me, let me rest to
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: show it for your son. First of all, they don't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: know how this actually went because he told the one
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: side of the story. And see he didn't had to
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: explain his black owl, he busted lip or whatever, and
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that he didn't you jumped on him from behind. It's
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the story he told he came up behind me. He
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: didn't even tell the story about he sucker punched you
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and knocked you down, and then you got up and
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: put it at work, because see, he's a bully, and
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: bully's not gonna tell the truth. So you have to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: get the truth out. This is the first thing I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: would do. I would call his mother, explain to mother
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: what happened, and then I would post what happened y'all
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: into social media. I would post what happened, but saying
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: in a regretful ray a friend of mine and I've
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: learned and I've grown up, and as a man, I
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: regret what I've done, but we let our old ways
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: get into the new people that we become. And so
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I would post it because ce let me tell you something.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Don't nobody help the bully. Nobody helps the bully. So
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: all these his friends is looking for you for what now.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Back in the day, that wouldn't have happened because soon
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: as we said our partner, he punched Earl in the face.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Earl whopped his ass A hold up dog so you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: punched Earl. Yeah, but we're gonna jump on Earl. Nothing,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Hold up, dog, You punched Earl first, and then Earl
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: whopped you. Hey, bro, we're good. We're good with Earl
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and all this here, Now that's the old way. I
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: don't know how young dudes handled it right now because
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the old way is lost. Now. He had nice hands
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: till he found out he knocked down the grown ass man,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: and now your hands as nicer than his old When
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: time changes things after it flies a while. So now
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Mama then told you they're looking for you. I was
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: shocked and afraid. I don't know what kind of goons
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: he got looking for me. So now I got to
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: watch my back. How could I settle things with him?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: With him man, before I get jumped off? All right, now,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: like I told you, you got to post this, but
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: you gotta get this thing settled. But not The real
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: advice to your young man is this right here. You're
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: thirty years old. You've outgrown that neighborhood, You've outgrown the
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: people that stay there, and it's time for you to move. See,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: you can't come out your dough wearing about what somebody
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: down the street gonna do you went to college. It's
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: too much. It's time for you to move on and
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: move along. They are not your friends. You're not gonna
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: regain his friendship. Friend. It's only for seasons. Man. There's
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: some people you was cool with you're just not cool
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: with no more. That's it. Moved Steve, and move on.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: By right now. Coming up at after Moto, Atlanta's Mayor
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Kesha Land's Bottoms will be our special guests. She's gonna
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: talk about the two key Georgia Center runoffs. We'll talk
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: to the mayor right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: it is that time. Please take them away, folks. We
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: got really really special guests this morning. Uh. She is
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the distinguished Mayor of our beautiful city of Atlanta, Georgia.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: She's a graduate of the Mighty HBCU Florida A and
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: l Rattlers. She is also UH my sister. She is
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: a member of Delta Sigma, thetus Sorority Incorporated. UH. Glamor
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Magazine named hers one of their Women of the Year
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: for twenty twenty, and we can't agree with that more.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: She's a very powerful sister, very very smart woman, and
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: we're happy to have her on the show. Please welcome
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: back to the show family member, our very old mayor,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Kesha Lance Bottoms. I feel like I need to give
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: you an ooh but strike, rattling strike. Welcome to Itama,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: all of it up. So thank you for having me. Beautiful,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: beautiful Matt. Happy you're here, Glad you're healthy and everything,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: the family and all. How'd you feel about this? You
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: know you are on the front lines, are pulling for
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Biden and Harris. What was it like for you when
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you finally heard the election results? You know what? It
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: was surreal for me and like so many moments, important moments.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I'm in the kitchen cooking on Saturday morning. I'm making
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: the kids sandcakes. But I'll tell you when it really
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: sunk in for me when my kids saw the TV screen,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: when they saw the television and they just jumped up
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and they started cheering and clapping, and it was just
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: such a release for them, because you know, our kids
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: have been carrying so much anxiety over the past few years,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: and especially with us. He liked him. My ten year
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: old son had come in one day and asked me,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: he said, Mommy, what's gonna happen to us? If Donald
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Trump is president again. So that's that's when it really
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: hit me just how big this moment is. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you know I think that that that same feeling resonated
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: across the country. I knew it resonated with a van
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: breaking down on CNN on television. I just watched you
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: and Stacy Abrams as too, really really powerful and influential
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: sisters in this thing. We're all we got I want
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to get into this with you. We got to go
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to break right quick. But Georgia is gonna be hosting
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: a runoff election for two key separate races on January fifth.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: The balance of power in the Senate hinges on the
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: outcome of this election, and the candidates are we'll discuss that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: But Republican incumbent senator to David Purdue going up against
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: the challenger, John Oscarf, Republican senator to Kelly Lawfler going
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: to Democratic newcomer Raphael Warning. And we'll talk about this
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: when we come back with Mayor Kesha last Bottoms. What
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: we can do to make this a reality. We gotta
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: win Georgia. Yes, absolutely, back after this. You're listening to
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Day Morning Show. All right, all right, Jay's on edge.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have heard about this as we
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: awaited the results of today's election. A non scalable fence
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: also known as an an okay show That was a mistake. Yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: because Shirley, I'm on Zoom looking at you and go
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: but her mouth fame movie. Our special guests this morning,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: this Mayor Kesha Lance Bottoms, and we're here talking about
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the upcoming election. Georgia is gonna host a runoff election
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: for two key Senate races on January fifth. The balance
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: of power in the Senate hinges on the outcome of
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: this election. The candidates are Republican incumbent Senator David Purdue
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and Democratic challenger John Ausa, Republican Senator Kelly Laffler, and
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Democratic newcomer my man Raphael Warnick. So, now, what is
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: your message to those of us in Atlanta and Georgia
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: overall concerning this Senate race, Mayor Bottoms, My message is simple,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: is not over and to put it in the contact,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you know, for people who aren't all in the politics.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: If you remember the end of Obama's term, he was
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: paralyzed because the Senate wouldn't let him get anything done.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: That's the same thing that Joe Biden is facing. If
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: he does not have the votes in the Senate. He
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: can have all of the great ideas in the world,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: he can put all of the executive orders in place
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: that he wants to, but another president can come behind
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: him and undo it in the same way Donald Trump
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: did unless it gets codified, unless it goes through and
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: gets voted on by the Senate. So people have to
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: show back up and vote. It was great that we
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: showed up to vote. There's more of us in our
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: households who didn't show up to vote, who can come
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: out and vote. This time we have to have the
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Senate and everybody is looking to Georgia to make the difference.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: You know what, Let's talk about that for a second,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: because you said something important. There were still some people
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: who didn't come out to vote, and you were talking
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: off the air. Tell us again how you felt about
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: all set and and and and the message that you
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: got from all set statement. So I was so moved
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: when offset came to the last event that Biden had
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: in Georgia, which was extraordinary that Joe Biden was here
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: the week of the election. Obama was here, Kamala Harris
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: was here, Offset talked about not knowing that he could
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: be a part of the process, when he didn't know
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: that he had the right to vote, and how much
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: it touched him to know that he could be a
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: part of the process, and it was like getting a
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: testimony in church. And what people have to recognize is
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen, the election was so close because of
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: just a few states Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. What Trump
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: did in twenty sixteen was suppressed the vote, meaning he
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: told people your might ain't gonna be better under Democrats.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Just stay home. You don't even have to show up
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and vote. Well, when you stay home, that's the same
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: thing as voting for a Republican. So unless you want
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: to vote for Republicans, you have to go out and
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: cast your vote for Democrat candidates. So the sea Offset
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: taught as a black man and speak to what it
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: meant to him to know that he could help control
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: the destiny of his country. I think speaks to so
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: many men across this country. A lot of people think
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: they votes won't matter, or they think if they owe
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: child support, or if they don't have a job, or
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: if they've been convicted of a felony, that they can't
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to be a part of this process. Our ancestors built
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: this country. This is as much our America as as
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: anybody else. Over the past several months. Our votes are
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: our boys. So if you don't go out and vote,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: your voice is not being heard. Wow, Mayor Bottoms, thank
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: you so much, everybody. Election day is January fifth. Early
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: voting is December fourteenth through the thirty first. You must
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: be registered to vote by December seventh of this year
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: in order to vote in this new election. For the runoff,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: we need more people to register, more people to show
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: up at the polls, and we're gonna show out ladies
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: and gentlemen, show you love. Maya Keisha last box. Thank you,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Maya Keisha, thank you. You're listening to the Stave Harvey
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, Tommy, here's a trending story you found
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: out of London. This man had placed this huge wager
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: that Joe Biden would win the US presidential election at
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: the Betfair Exchange. Right, that's the world's largest online betting exchange.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: He bet that Joe Biden would win the election. But
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: the better or gambler can't collect their winnings, can't get
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: their money what what has happened? Can't get your money
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: because it's not considered official yet. Yeah, official yet? Yeah?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I want though? He want how much? How much? Seven
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars? Though, that's a lot of money.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Bet a million? Yeah yeah, like a million three or something.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: But yeah, so if you bet one hundred thousand, you
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: win seventy five thousand. So can we bet ten grand
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: that the Secret Service gonna have to drag his ass?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I can? We've been put ten on that and let
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: it ride? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, that ain't a good bet, though,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: give me a fetal base that bet. If anybody give
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: your odds to hear be out before inauguration, you can
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: take that bet. Oh yeah, yeah, I bet you he's
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: not even sitting at the inauguration. That's more of the
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three after
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: All right, guys, you know I'm always ready to go
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: rogue in the brand new Versatile twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: It is perfect for someone like me, perfect I'm always
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: on the go, and it has five different drive modes
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: that fit whatever kind of mood I'm in when I'm
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: behind the wheel. Check out the twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: And while you do that, I'll tell you about my
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: rogue attitude I once had when I was cooking. Okay,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I got okay, I got a new crock pot, right,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I wanted to go rogue. I see people on TV
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: all the time just taking meat and potatoes and all
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: this stuff and throwing it in the crock pot. So
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I did the same thing. I threw some steak in there,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: some rice in there, a can of mushroom soup in there,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and let it look huh it was you know, we
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: gotta ask you was it? Well? I can't remember, but anyway,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I threw it in there. I was so happy. I
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: was so happy. It smells so good. You know. We
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: were newly weds then, Nesto and I. So anyway, he
