- 3:37Speaker 6: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Story number one, Cashpattel seems to be cleaning house at
- 3:46Speaker 5: the FBI.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Yes, that's exactly what is happening now.
- 3:49Speaker 7: Is Patel has decided it is time to make sure
- 3:52Speaker 7: he has good people working there. We're into Divine went
- 3:56Speaker 7: on Maria Bartiromo's show on Fox News Sunday and had
- 3:59Speaker 7: this to say about what's going on at the FBI.
- 4:04Speaker 7: You also hear some audio from Dan Bongino and Cashpertel
- 4:07Speaker 7: in an earlier interview they did at the very beginning,
- 4:10Speaker 7: I want you to listen carefully to what they're saying
- 4:12Speaker 7: about what we're doing now.
- 4:13Speaker 4: To get to the bottom of something like January sixth,
- 4:16Speaker 4: in the pipe bomber case, for example, you need three things.
- 4:19Speaker 4: You need people, you need information, and you need people
- 4:22Speaker 4: with information. I'll allow the public to put that together
- 4:25Speaker 4: and just wait and you'll see nothing we're doing. Nothing
- 4:30Speaker 4: is by accident.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Dan and I have already told the FBI every employee
- 4:33Speaker 2: that acted appropriately, we are going to defend you to
- 4:36Speaker 2: the hill, literally, no matter the consequences. And that was
- 4:40Speaker 2: FBI Director Cash Burtel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino with
- 4:43Speaker 2: me and my exclusive on the FBI back in May
- 4:46Speaker 2: earlier this year. As more heads rolled at the FBI
- 4:49Speaker 2: this past week, former FBI Acting Director Brian Driscoll and
- 4:53Speaker 2: special Agent Walter Giardina were forced out, among others forced out.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Driscoll oversaw the January or a sixth investigation, while Giordina
- 5:02Speaker 2: worked on cases against President Trump and Peter Navarro, the
- 5:06Speaker 2: trade executive in the White House who was ultimately convicted
- 5:09Speaker 2: and sent to prison. Joining me now with more on
- 5:12Speaker 2: all of this is near close Palmist and Fox News
- 5:14Speaker 2: contributor Miranda Devine. Miranda, great to see you. Literally, it's
- 5:18Speaker 2: been a decade of scandals led by the Democrats. But
- 5:21Speaker 2: first get you you want to get your take on
- 5:23Speaker 2: these FBI changes. First they promoted Driscoll and then they
- 5:28Speaker 2: asked him to leave.
- 5:29Speaker 8: Yes, and also Stephen Jensen and Walter gr Dina, and
- 5:33Speaker 8: these people were all involved in the politicization of the
- 5:37Speaker 8: FBI under Joe Biden and Christopher Ray, attacking and persecuting
- 5:44Speaker 8: Trump allies and people who had worked for Trump, including
- 5:49Speaker 8: the Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon being jailed for contempt
- 5:54Speaker 8: of Nancy Pelosi effectively and the January sixth defendants.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Steve even Jensen was in charge.
- 6:03Speaker 8: Of the most over zealous prosecution, persecution investigation of these
- 6:10Speaker 8: Trump allies, and so I think it was long overdue really.
- 6:15Speaker 8: I was surprised that they lasted as long as they did,
- 6:19Speaker 8: but I think it's great that finally Cash Patel has
- 6:23Speaker 8: cleaned house. And I assume and your interview with Patel
- 6:28Speaker 8: and Dan Bongino is the only record of this. But
- 6:33Speaker 8: there was method in the madness that there was a
- 6:35Speaker 8: reason to keep them close for the first six months
- 6:39Speaker 8: and now to remove them summarily.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Marie, do what's your chake and what we're seeing? Are
- 6:44Speaker 2: we finally seeing some signals of some accountability. We've been
- 6:48Speaker 2: waiting for accountability, from the Russia collusion nonsense to the
- 6:52Speaker 2: impeachments of Trump, the laptop from how how do you
- 6:55Speaker 2: see things now?
- 6:56Speaker 8: That's a really good question, Maria, and I think we're
- 6:59Speaker 8: seeing reallyitive signs. There just seems to be a systematic,
- 7:04Speaker 8: very orderly procession of investigations and subpoenas and grand juries.
- 7:13Speaker 8: We saw on Friday that Leticia James, the Attorney General
- 7:17Speaker 8: of New York, who prosecuted Trump every which way she
- 7:21Speaker 8: could find, as well as the notorious Adam Schiff, who
- 7:26Speaker 8: of course was now is a Senator but then was
- 7:30Speaker 8: a congressman who led a lot of the Russia hoax nonsense.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Back in Trump's first term.
- 7:37Speaker 8: And is really somebody like Letitia James who continues to
- 7:42Speaker 8: mouth the refrain no one is above the law.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Well, they've found out that they're not above the law.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Because Pam Bondi, the Attorney General appointed on Thursday night
- 7:55Speaker 8: Ed Martin as the special Attorney to investigate these two,
- 8:01Speaker 8: he can bring up grand juries wherever he likes, and
- 8:05Speaker 8: he's done so. Grand Juries are looking at Adam Schiff
- 8:09Speaker 8: and Leticia James in Maryland and in Virginia on allegations
- 8:14Speaker 8: of mortgage fraud, also bank fraud and wire fraud, and
- 8:19Speaker 8: these charges if convicted on them, they would serve up
- 8:23Speaker 8: to thirty years in jail.
- 8:26Speaker 3: So it's a serious accountability.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to ask.
- 8:29Speaker 7: You more, a serious accountability. That is all that we're
- 8:33Speaker 7: asking for here is that you take a look at
- 8:36Speaker 7: all of this and you say, were their actual laws
- 8:39Speaker 7: that were broken? That is what Miranda Devine is saying,
- 8:42Speaker 7: is a real possibility that there are real laws that
- 8:45Speaker 7: were broken, real corruption that we can clearly see. And
- 8:49Speaker 7: because there is real corruption, there are real laws that
- 8:54Speaker 7: may have been broken, there should be accountability.
- 8:57Speaker 6: This is all that.
- 8:58Speaker 7: The President United States and mayor has been asking for,
- 9:02Speaker 7: which is, Hey, FBI, do your job. Take a look
- 9:06Speaker 7: at all of these things, see what happened, and if
- 9:09Speaker 7: there is something there, hold those accountable for their actions. Now,
- 9:15Speaker 7: you look at the weaponization of our government, the weaponization
- 9:18Speaker 7: of our deep state. You look at how it was
- 9:20Speaker 7: weaponized to take out political opponents.
- 9:23Speaker 6: You'll get Letitia James. You look at those in around Biden.
- 9:26Speaker 7: You look at so many that were just involved in
- 9:29Speaker 7: incredible levels of corruption, and they all thought they could
- 9:33Speaker 7: get away with it because no one would ever come knocking.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Remember it.
- 9:36Speaker 7: They were the ones that were knocking on the doors,
- 9:39Speaker 7: raiding people's homes, even going into the President.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Of the United States of America's house. Never ever forget that.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Next story number two, in a bombshell report, a Democratic
- 9:52Speaker 7: whistleblower has come forward a long time staffer on the
- 9:56Speaker 7: House Intelligence Committee and told the FBI back in December
- 10:01Speaker 7: of twenty seventeen, during Donald Trump's first year in office,
- 10:06Speaker 7: that then Representative Adam Shift authorized the leaking of classified
- 10:12Speaker 7: information during the Russia Gate investigation to discredit President Donald Trump,
- 10:19Speaker 7: believing that he would be appointed CIA director under a
- 10:23Speaker 7: potential Hillary Clinton presidency. In meetings Adam Shift allegedly stated
- 10:29Speaker 7: the leaks would be used to indict President Trump. When
- 10:32Speaker 7: the whistleblower objected, others reportedly reassured him that they would
- 10:38Speaker 7: not quote be caught. The whistleblower described a system where
- 10:43Speaker 7: sense of material was funneled to Shift and then selectively
- 10:47Speaker 7: leaked to the press. One document allegedly seen by a
- 10:51Speaker 7: small group including Shift and Representative Eric Swalwell, you remember
- 10:56Speaker 7: the congressman that was literally sleeping with a Chinese spy,
- 10:59Speaker 7: was leaked almost verbatim within a day. The whistle blower
- 11:04Speaker 7: labeled these actions unethical and potentially treason US and sought
- 11:09Speaker 7: FBI involvement that the Department of Justice reportedly declined to
- 11:13Speaker 7: pursue the investigation further. The White House Press secretary calling
- 11:17Speaker 7: the report a bombshell, signing the newly released FBI documentation
- 11:22Speaker 7: about the whistleblower's account. Here's more of what Caroline Levitt
- 11:25Speaker 7: had to say when she was asked about it in
- 11:27Speaker 7: the White House briefing room BEKA.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Thanks Caroline. My question involves Russia Gate. A whistleblower alleges
- 11:33Speaker 1: that the Congressman Adam Schiff approved leaking classified information to
- 11:38Speaker 1: smear President Trump's image during the Russia Gate out scandal
- 11:41Speaker 1: as the President planned to investigate Adam Schiff and what
- 11:44Speaker 1: would accountability look like if more information.
- 11:47Speaker 9: Confirms this support. The President has already said he wants
- 11:50Speaker 9: to see Adam Schiff held accountable for the countless lies
- 11:53Speaker 9: he told the American people in relation to the Russia
- 11:56Speaker 9: Gate scandal. I brought Tulsey Gabbert out to this podium
- 11:59Speaker 9: to talk to you about all of that, and this
- 12:01Speaker 9: administration is taking accountability very seriously. As for this new
- 12:05Speaker 9: FBI whistleblower report, I understand cash Pttel last night declassified
- 12:09Speaker 9: a three h two FBI document showing that a whistleblower
- 12:13Speaker 9: who is a Democrat, a career intelligence officer who worked
- 12:17Speaker 9: for Democrats on the House Intel Committee for more than
- 12:19Speaker 9: a decade, repeatedly warned the FBI in twenty seventeen that
- 12:24Speaker 9: then Rep. Adams Shiff had approved leaking classified information to
- 12:29Speaker 9: smear then President Donald Trump over the Russiagate scandal. This
- 12:34Speaker 9: is obviously a bombshell whistleblower report. Hopefully more people in
- 12:38Speaker 9: this room will cover it as such. And I have
- 12:40Speaker 9: a quote from the FBI director for all of you.
- 12:43Speaker 9: He has said this for years, certain officials use their
- 12:46Speaker 9: positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives.
- 12:50Speaker 9: It was all done with one purpose, to weaponize intelligence
- 12:53Speaker 9: and law enforcement for political gain. Those abuses eroded public
- 12:57Speaker 9: trust in our institutions. The FBI will now lead the charge,
- 13:00Speaker 9: with our partners at DOJ and Congress will have the
- 13:03Speaker 9: chance to uncover how political power may have been weaponized
- 13:07Speaker 9: and to restore accountability. That's what the administration is focused on,
- 13:10Speaker 9: and hopefully we'll see some more media reports on this
- 13:14Speaker 9: whistleblower allegation. If this were reversed, if if this were
- 13:20Speaker 9: allegations against the President or any of these cabinet officials,
- 13:23Speaker 9: I'm sure everyone in this room would cover it.
- 13:25Speaker 7: As such, this is obviously a major story that the
- 13:28Speaker 7: media doesn't want to cover, but we're going to keep
- 13:30Speaker 7: you informed on it, and we're going to make sure
- 13:32Speaker 7: you know exactly what's happening every step of the way.
- 13:35Speaker 5: And finally, story number three.
- 13:37Speaker 7: Donald Trump has done something that's truly incredible, allow law
- 13:41Speaker 7: enforcement to do their jobs, and now Americans are signing
- 13:45Speaker 7: up in record numbers to get in on law and order.
- 13:48Speaker 7: We now have found out that over one hundred thousand
- 13:52Speaker 7: Americans have submitted applications for jobs at the US Immigration
- 13:56Speaker 7: and Customs Enforcement known as ICE, follow the launch of
- 14:00Speaker 7: a Department of Homelanned Security hiring campaign in late July.
- 14:04Speaker 7: The Trump administration initiatives seeks to add ten thousand more
- 14:08Speaker 7: ICE personnel. Because of the tens of millions of illegal
- 14:11Speaker 7: immigrants that are in this country, ICE agents are needed,
- 14:14Speaker 7: and now they're offering major perks as well and even
- 14:18Speaker 7: easing some of the qualification restrictions to make sure that
- 14:21Speaker 7: we get incredible people that are willing to work within ICE.
- 14:25Speaker 7: This is one of the best parts of all of
- 14:27Speaker 7: what Donald Trump has done. In a statement, the Department
- 14:30Speaker 7: of Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nomes stress the significance of
- 14:34Speaker 7: the hiring push, saying, quote, this is a defining moment
- 14:37Speaker 7: in our nation's history. Your skills, your experience, and your
- 14:41Speaker 7: courage have never been more essential. Together, we must defend
- 14:44Speaker 7: the Homeland No emphasize that ICE agents are responsible for
- 14:48Speaker 7: deporting the worst of the worst criminals from the United
- 14:51Speaker 7: States of America. To draw in applicants, ICE is providing
- 14:55Speaker 7: sign on bonuses as high as fifty thousand dollars along
- 14:58Speaker 7: with programs for re paying or for giving student loans
- 15:02Speaker 7: and additional perks. This hiring campaign occurs amid DHS statistics
- 15:07Speaker 7: showing an eight hundred and thirty percent surge in attacks
- 15:12Speaker 7: on ICE agents, a number that no medicated has now
- 15:15Speaker 7: climbed to one thousand percent because the radical left demonizing
- 15:21Speaker 7: law and order. The acting ICE Director Todd Lyons has
- 15:24Speaker 7: drawn also attention to the difficulties ICE agents are enduring
- 15:28Speaker 7: and encountering in the public Because of the open border
- 15:31Speaker 7: policies of the former Biden Harris government. The dedicated men
- 15:35Speaker 7: and women of ICE now face unprecedented challenges and removing
- 15:39Speaker 7: millions of criminal legal aliens from our country, and that's
- 15:42Speaker 7: exactly why they're trying to hire ten thousand new individuals now.
- 15:47Speaker 7: The ICE hiring portal features various positions such as deportation Officer,
- 15:53Speaker 7: criminal investigator, and general attorney, and it also clearly responds
- 15:57Speaker 7: to the occupational has noting that agents are quote expertly
- 16:02Speaker 7: trained and that all possible measures are implemented to protect them.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Every candidate for law enforcement position will be subject to
- 16:09Speaker 7: health evaluations, substance screenings, and fitness tests during recruitment. This
- 16:15Speaker 7: is exactly why they've received more than one hundred thousand
- 16:18Speaker 7: applicants because so many people are willing to fight to
- 16:21Speaker 7: protect this country when they know the commander in chief
- 16:24Speaker 7: is backing them up. And that's exactly what you're getting
- 16:26Speaker 7: from President Trump.
