- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time. If y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them more,
- 0:14Speaker 1: just like theming buck bus things. And it's tough, y'all
- 0:19Speaker 1: to be true. Good to tea Steve, how guy listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to me together for still listen Moby, I don't join,
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah yeah boy joining. Men say you gotta turn out,
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah you run, you got to turn turn turn lobby,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got the turn out to turn water wanter go, comey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back at it. Uh huh, I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: a well a good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now. But one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You know, um, I thought I think of my life
- 2:17Speaker 1: in terms of blessings. You know, I take mostly a
- 2:20Speaker 1: positive approach and a positive spin to my life. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: hardly ever dweil on. Uh you know the what's well.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I can't say that I don't think about the what's
- 2:31Speaker 1: wrong in it because I have to, because I have
- 2:33Speaker 1: to address problems as they arise. But I try not
- 2:37Speaker 1: to let them consume me. I let the consumption part
- 2:42Speaker 1: be about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred
- 2:46Speaker 1: in my life, the good things that God has done
- 2:48Speaker 1: for me, the power that He's displayed in my life,
- 2:53Speaker 1: the protection he's given me over the years, to being
- 2:56Speaker 1: tucked under his wings. I focus on the things that
- 3:00Speaker 1: He promises me. I think of all all the goodness
- 3:03Speaker 1: that I perceived to come my way, and I think
- 3:06Speaker 1: that has a lot to do with me learning more
- 3:09Speaker 1: and more about the law of attraction in terms of
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know, what you think and what you put out
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the space, and what you pray about is what
- 3:17Speaker 1: you receive, you know, and so I've become better and
- 3:21Speaker 1: better at that. It's not to say that I'm I'm
- 3:24Speaker 1: not human and I don't have moments where I think
- 3:28Speaker 1: a little bit too long about what's going wrong and
- 3:30Speaker 1: what enemy is is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 1: gonna do and say and and all of is his.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of you, all of us, We
- 3:49Speaker 1: can have incredible lives if we just let God drive See.
- 3:55Speaker 1: The problem that I had years ago was I was
- 3:59Speaker 1: the dry of my life, and I was taking myself
- 4:03Speaker 1: in the directions that I thought would be best for me,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:15Speaker 1: to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:20Speaker 1: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:24Speaker 1: and my spirit to what God had for me, for
- 4:29Speaker 1: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:32Speaker 1: do in my life, well, for what God wanted for
- 4:36Speaker 1: me now he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:45Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you gotta make to
- 4:48Speaker 1: really get it. Now, Listen to me. What I don't
- 4:51Speaker 1: want you to do is do like me. Don't be
- 4:53Speaker 1: afraid of the what for of the what he wants
- 4:56Speaker 1: you to do part see, because that ain't gonna be
- 4:59Speaker 1: nearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think it's
- 5:02Speaker 1: gonna be. See. I thought that if I did God's will,
- 5:06Speaker 1: that if I let God tell me what to do,
- 5:09Speaker 1: that it would cause me to not to be able
- 5:11Speaker 1: to do a certain some things I wanted to do well,
- 5:14Speaker 1: which is true. But the stuff I wanted to do
- 5:17Speaker 1: was all detrimental to my well being and my future
- 5:20Speaker 1: and my and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man, because see,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:29Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:31Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:36Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:41Speaker 1: part of it. And and that's the part that I
- 5:43Speaker 1: finally got through my head to let God do it
- 5:46Speaker 1: his way and to show me a better way, and
- 5:50Speaker 1: to teach me a better way and exposed to me
- 5:53Speaker 1: a better way. And when I opened up my mind
- 5:55Speaker 1: to what God was talking about, I began to see
- 5:59Speaker 1: things totally differently, And things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:04Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:06Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:10Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I mean, and I and I acknowledge that every chance
- 6:16Speaker 1: I get, because I promised God I would, and I
- 6:19Speaker 1: hope that I'm not falling short in that category. But
- 6:22Speaker 1: then again, if I told it all day long. Would
- 6:25Speaker 1: he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough time
- 6:28Speaker 1: to really explain thoroughly what he's done for me, because
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's such a continuous growth in me. But now that's
- 6:36Speaker 1: not to say that I'm finished or I'm done or
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm complete, because I'm still short. And that's the cold
- 6:44Speaker 1: thing about it. Man. See, no matter how good you
- 6:46Speaker 1: get at it, you ain't gonna ever be the best
- 6:49Speaker 1: you can be. You're just not because you're gonna fall short.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You can't be him. You can strive for perfection. I
- 6:56Speaker 1: hear people saying it all the time. I applaud you
- 6:58Speaker 1: for saying you want to be perfect, but you ain't
- 7:01Speaker 1: and you can't and you're not and you aren't and
- 7:04Speaker 1: you won't and you will not. And so you quit
- 7:08Speaker 1: saying it. You quit saying it to me, quit saying
- 7:10Speaker 1: it to other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but it's something that you cannot have because he said
- 7:17Speaker 1: you can't do it. But that's what he'd asked for,
- 7:20Speaker 1: he'd have for the moments when you stumble and you fall,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and you go stumble and fall, So you gotta get
- 7:25Speaker 1: that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But see, you get God in your life and it
- 7:30Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over,
- 7:35Speaker 1: laid their languish. That's what God is for. So when
- 7:39Speaker 1: you stumbling fall, you get back up because you're going
- 7:43Speaker 1: to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong. You're
- 7:46Speaker 1: going to come under attack, You're going to be lied about,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you are going to be falsely accused. That's going to
- 7:54Speaker 1: happen to you the moment you make a decision to
- 7:57Speaker 1: do better, the moment you try to be more, the
- 8:00Speaker 1: moment you try to get it right. The devil got
- 8:03Speaker 1: to send his attackers man, and he controls certain people.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He just got people as on his side. Seven. You
- 8:10Speaker 1: know him too. You you've all met one or two
- 8:13Speaker 1: of me in your life. They're just busy with the
- 8:16Speaker 1: business of nothingness. They're just busy about to do about
- 8:20Speaker 1: the destruction of others. You said, I know him. You
- 8:23Speaker 1: know him. They're coming. But here's what you gotta hold
- 8:26Speaker 1: fast too. They can't take away nothing from you that
- 8:30Speaker 1: God gave you. They didn't make you. See, people who
- 8:34Speaker 1: claim to have made you, if they're so in to
- 8:38Speaker 1: make you business, why don't they make theirselves, or if
- 8:41Speaker 1: they ain't with you no more and they're so busy
- 8:44Speaker 1: in them. I made you business, why don't they make
- 8:47Speaker 1: somebody else? Since just since you want to get credit
- 8:50Speaker 1: from making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
- 8:56Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 8:59Speaker 1: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
- 9:02Speaker 1: careful of that, and don't and and don't don't change
- 9:05Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: keep doing what you're doing. I just hope, man, that
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm giving it to God the way I said I
- 9:14Speaker 1: would give it to him, that I would unload every
- 9:17Speaker 1: chance I got that I was supposed to without being
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know, or here he come again? You know. I
- 9:22Speaker 1: try not to be that, but man, I don't know
- 9:24Speaker 1: what else to be for the first twelve minutes of
- 9:26Speaker 1: my show. What else you want me to say? I
- 9:28Speaker 1: got four hours. I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I mean for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:34Speaker 1: let's look at this right here. It's like, for example,
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's like detox in your body, which is one of
- 9:40Speaker 1: the most healthy things you can do for your body
- 9:42Speaker 1: is to detox your system and clean out the pipes
- 9:44Speaker 1: and the liver and the blood and get it all together,
- 9:47Speaker 1: give your kidneys a break and all like this. Okay, right, okay,
- 9:50Speaker 1: But to detox it properly it takes twenty one days, right.
- 9:54Speaker 1: And I hear a lot of people telling my twenty
- 9:56Speaker 1: one days I ain't got. But see, hold up, man,
- 9:58Speaker 1: if the twenty one day easy out of three hundred
- 10:02Speaker 1: sixty days a year, you ain't got twenty one to
- 10:05Speaker 1: straighten yourself out. You ain't got twenty one days to
- 10:08Speaker 1: give yourself a better shot at health. I mean that
- 10:11Speaker 1: that's crazy to me, once you wrap your mind around it. See,
- 10:15Speaker 1: And so like, if you're giving honor to God just
- 10:17Speaker 1: twelve minutes out the day, dog, he gave you twenty
- 10:21Speaker 1: four hours of luxury and life and breath and hope
- 10:25Speaker 1: and promise that you ain't got twelve minutes to give
- 10:27Speaker 1: him out the day. That don't make no sense. What
- 10:30Speaker 1: an exchange, What a wonderful life God has given me
- 10:34Speaker 1: in exchange for so small of effort that I put forth.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Don't let the effort you gotta put forth to God
- 10:39Speaker 1: seems so dawning that you don't attempt to do it
- 10:42Speaker 1: because man, it seems like a lot. It ain't nothing
- 10:44Speaker 1: compared to what he'd be given us for real. So
- 10:47Speaker 1: if you want a real life, you want a real
- 10:49Speaker 1: shot at what you can be, what you can have,
- 10:51Speaker 1: what you can own, what you can become who you
- 10:53Speaker 1: really are. Go to God. Let him fix you. Man,
- 10:56Speaker 1: that's all You're Ladies and gentlemen, bars and girls, people
- 11:03Speaker 1: from all around the world listen to this. Here you
- 11:07Speaker 1: are listening undoubtedly unmistakably to the greatest morning show ever invented.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now we give credit to the first morning show and
- 11:20Speaker 1: it was a delightful morning show and it added on
- 11:25Speaker 1: w c a V E we Cave Radio and uh
- 11:32Speaker 1: to the top cave Man Knee and Andrew Thal was
- 11:36Speaker 1: the morning drive DJ, and they came out and it
- 11:40Speaker 1: was wonderful, man, and the way they started it, and
- 11:43Speaker 1: it just last, you know, it just got around to
- 11:46Speaker 1: all the caves and it's a glorious morning show. You
- 11:48Speaker 1: should come out on the morning the mountaintop and just
- 11:50Speaker 1: do the show. And in light of that, so we
- 11:53Speaker 1: do give credit to w c a V Radio for
- 11:57Speaker 1: the first morning show ever. But after that it's us.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You just got it. You just got it. But back
- 12:07Speaker 1: then where no women loud, though, Shirley, you and Colin
- 12:10Speaker 1: got got a bless it because where no women than you. No,
- 12:14Speaker 1: they couldn't even talk on the radio. But we can
- 12:18Speaker 1: now and won't stop and boss at bosses too, actually,
- 12:28Speaker 1: rictors and all that. Somebody's got to reel you in. Yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 1: so Sureley, how you doing it? Oh, thank you, Steve,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm doing very well. Thank you. Good morning morning, Hello Darling,
- 12:44Speaker 1: Hello Steve Crew. What's happening Wednesday? Hello? And the words
- 12:49Speaker 1: of week radio? That my uncle? What do top of
- 12:57Speaker 1: the morning? Baby, ain't nothing just over here just keeping
- 13:01Speaker 1: it straight, pimping? How about the mass stroke? How about how?
- 13:08Speaker 1: How about it? How about it? Let's go? World Series
- 13:11Speaker 1: kicked off last night, Game one, Get ready, let's get ready,
- 13:15Speaker 1: A long way to go. I'm not really a baseball fan.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I just like the fact that Houston is in it.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I'm not really a used fan. Yeah, it's great for
- 13:23Speaker 1: the city, great, it's real good for they love it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Why aren't you a huge baseball fan? You like other
- 13:30Speaker 1: sports better played baseball as a kid. But it's get
- 13:35Speaker 1: what it's born unless you at the game. To me,
- 13:39Speaker 1: it's boring that you well that you got that big
- 13:41Speaker 1: hot dog in your hand. All the hot dogs to you.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Even today, Tommy quick baseball because after he got thirteen,
- 13:53Speaker 1: he had to use a regular side back. O. That
- 13:58Speaker 1: couldn't happen. They're different. You know. In the league you
- 14:03Speaker 1: could play with a little it's a smaller bat, but
- 14:05Speaker 1: when you go to the other league, you had to
- 14:07Speaker 1: use a regular side back and it was bigger than
- 14:09Speaker 1: he worked. So, oh he could never play basketball or football.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Then I know he didn't play basketball, Tommy. That still
- 14:21Speaker 1: what is what is wrong with you? Even today, Tommy
- 14:26Speaker 1: has never touched the knit before y'all. Hey, coming up,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I've got something. I've never seen him touch the nit
- 14:35Speaker 1: Right now, I've got a story for you, Tommy, coming
- 14:37Speaker 1: up in something funny. We'll be back at thirty two
- 14:40Speaker 1: after the hour. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve,
- 14:45Speaker 1: this story is for Tommy. Listen to this. The guy
- 14:48Speaker 1: in Canada got really lucky one day when he won
- 14:51Speaker 1: six million dollars in the lottery. Okay, and then he
- 14:55Speaker 1: tried to press his luck by hiding it from his
- 14:58Speaker 1: wife and then making a run for for it down familiar.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Tommy just just four days after Maurice t secretly won
- 15:10Speaker 1: the six million dollars, he packed his bag, took his
- 15:13Speaker 1: passport and left home. All right, that's the problem, that's
- 15:17Speaker 1: the problem. Yeah, let me finish, Let me finish. The
- 15:26Speaker 1: couple had at that point been living together for over
- 15:29Speaker 1: two years now. In court, in court, Maurice's wife said
- 15:34Speaker 1: that she and Maurice together dreamed about winning the law lottery.
- 15:38Speaker 1: They planned on buying cars together and an estate in
- 15:42Speaker 1: the country. His wife also remembered that Maurice did about
- 15:46Speaker 1: fifteen loads of laundry of all his clothes the night
- 15:50Speaker 1: before he took off, as if he were preparing to
- 15:53Speaker 1: pack up and leave. Yeah, okay, question what was her name?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Her name was Denise Robertson. Oh yeah, oh yeah. They're black.
- 16:08Speaker 1: They're black with Maurice. Oh yeah, he's just blae. Okay,
- 16:17Speaker 1: let me ask some shill. Did he cast the check?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah he had the money, Yeah he had it. He
- 16:23Speaker 1: oh he got it. Yes, he won he won six
- 16:29Speaker 1: all six at one time. It's not broken up six
- 16:31Speaker 1: million dollars. They don't go into that much detail, but yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 1: he got six million dollars. He did before Maurice fifteen
- 16:44Speaker 1: rounds of lunch. Just I don't even understand that, Maurice,
- 16:49Speaker 1: because you got six meals, get some clothes. What are
- 16:55Speaker 1: you packing for because he let me tell you something,
- 16:58Speaker 1: Maurice ain't gonna do good because Maurice, thanks polt loads
- 17:06Speaker 1: of lune. It's some stuff you ain't you shouldn't wear
- 17:11Speaker 1: after you get look about fifteen loads of Let me
- 17:20Speaker 1: tell you something. Six million I didn't took two hundred
- 17:24Speaker 1: thousands and created the greatest drive by you have ever seen.
- 17:31Speaker 1: While I'm standing in the front yard, I'm telling you
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm going down in front of everybody right now. They're
- 17:38Speaker 1: gonna around the cold of two cars. Skin. I got
- 17:42Speaker 1: got a boat, I'm down, carry me out of there.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you you got to get away clean. You
- 17:48Speaker 1: gotta fake your death, yeah, to be gone. I think
- 17:55Speaker 1: faking the death is impossible because you know, we gotta
- 17:58Speaker 1: have a funeral. You ain't gonna be to be know
- 18:01Speaker 1: what the body. I think I can text something for
- 18:05Speaker 1: six million. Not only can I make it through the funeral,
- 18:08Speaker 1: y'all can't get to the dirt. Let's go to the
- 18:11Speaker 1: cemetery to the throw this dirt on here. I promise
- 18:18Speaker 1: you I'm coming home, tom because time have me in
- 18:21Speaker 1: on it. Why everybody leaving? I'm sitting there in the
- 18:23Speaker 1: chests from open the cigar for you and then I
- 18:26Speaker 1: wait on you to knock on the cash. They go,
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't you be involved in this foolishness? No, no, no, seekers,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I'm an cut the deal this Timmy. Open the cask
- 18:41Speaker 1: and I'm in it. Huh, open the cask and I'm ready.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Now listen to me, tom listen. Okay, okay, Tommy, that
- 18:52Speaker 1: reenact me. You're in the casket. I'm at the funeral.
- 18:56Speaker 1: All right, let's go. Is they going up? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: there you go. Okay, cool, come on, let's do like
- 19:03Speaker 1: we said, gonna go open this thing up. Women, I
- 19:06Speaker 1: need to talk to you from what we we we talked.
- 19:09Speaker 1: When I get out, manhen the do dog get hot
- 19:12Speaker 1: in it? No? No, I think we need to talk now.
- 19:16Speaker 1: No man, hey, to quit playing dog now come on now,
- 19:19Speaker 1: look I ain't playing Okay, So it's getting hot and
- 19:25Speaker 1: this soup and got tight. Come on now, I know
- 19:28Speaker 1: I know. Well, where's the money. Tell me I got
- 19:33Speaker 1: the money. It's safe. Just hey, man, what you're doing now?
- 19:36Speaker 1: I need where it is before our open this it's
- 19:42Speaker 1: just serious. I'm bad SI you know putting. They didn't
- 19:57Speaker 1: put those shoes on me or nothing. Listen, come on now,
- 20:00Speaker 1: listen to me. Tell me where the money is so
- 20:02Speaker 1: I can get my cut. Now. Then as I get
- 20:06Speaker 1: my cut, I'm gonna come back and let you out.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You can't go and come back now. I can't make
- 20:13Speaker 1: it that long. We just go. That's probably why you
- 20:16Speaker 1: need to hear him. Tell me where this money. That
- 20:20Speaker 1: wasn't a plan. The plan was you're gonna let me
- 20:21Speaker 1: out and then we come on. That wasn't your plan.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Now we're doing my plan. Tell him listen quick, here
- 20:34Speaker 1: comes to grave diggers. What hey, bros, what's happening? How
- 20:40Speaker 1: y'all y're all ready to throw the dirt on him?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Hey man, could just give me a couple of more
- 20:46Speaker 1: minutes with him before you do that? Thank you, brother.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm grieving. I'm stricken. Yeah, thank you, bro, Steve. They
- 20:57Speaker 1: got another funeral? Yeah yeah, and I do that. I
- 21:00Speaker 1: take the pictures, which ain't no problem. I give you
- 21:02Speaker 1: a pictures recognize. Yeah, you're taking pictures still, that's good.

- 21:40Speaker 1: gonna stay tuned to chat time. All right, we'll be
- 21:49Speaker 1: back with more. Right there. Man, you're listening to Steve
- 21:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, folks, you know, normally that music
- 22:02Speaker 1: could mean about having an episode of The Chapmans. He
- 22:06Speaker 1: was narrated normally by Shirley Strawberry, but due to shirley
- 22:11Speaker 1: strong religious convictions, she's unable to play along with this
- 22:15Speaker 1: fake your death plot. So I've taken over as the
- 22:19Speaker 1: narrator or this one because I ain't got no problem.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So we are at the grave site Tommy has faked
- 22:26Speaker 1: his death. Remember Tommy won over six million dollars in
- 22:30Speaker 1: the lottery as reported in a news story about Shirley.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Concerned with Shirley, we've taken this and doing a re
- 22:37Speaker 1: enactment because Tommy decided to fake his death to leave
- 22:41Speaker 1: his family doing the fake death process. Because he is
- 22:46Speaker 1: the great actor that he is, he has managed to
- 22:49Speaker 1: stage an entire funeral service and all. And now we
- 22:54Speaker 1: are at the grave site where they are about to
- 22:56Speaker 1: lower him in the ground. His wife and children have
- 22:59Speaker 1: gone on to grieve, and Uncle Steve has stood over
- 23:03Speaker 1: the casket smoking a cigar. Who is in on the
- 23:07Speaker 1: whole thing and taking We resumed where Uncle Steve was
- 23:15Speaker 1: taking itself. It is with the grave digger who had
- 23:19Speaker 1: walked up on him and saw him talking. Yeah, man,
- 23:23Speaker 1: y'all go ahead, hey hey man, like I said, tell
- 23:26Speaker 1: you mom and there my said, hey, I appreciate you
- 23:28Speaker 1: all watching. Just give me a few more minutes while
- 23:30Speaker 1: I grieve a little bit more with my nephew. Thank you, brother,
- 23:35Speaker 1: all right, yeah, yeah, nigg and Grandma, I got you.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I mean, why are you playing on top of my grave?
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm not playing, I'm playing it off to your mouth? Boy?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Do you want him to hear you in here? Not?
- 24:01Speaker 1: And then everybody know you ain't dead and the gig
- 24:03Speaker 1: is up, and then you'll be splitting the money with
- 24:05Speaker 1: your family like you post to. Okay with you, what
- 24:09Speaker 1: I need to. I've told you, tell me where the
- 24:12Speaker 1: money is so I can go get my cut. Then
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'll come back and let you out this. How know
- 24:20Speaker 1: how I know you're coming back. How you do that?
- 24:24Speaker 1: You're here all you got? You don't. But I tell
- 24:28Speaker 1: you who is coming back? The grave diggers. That's for show.
- 24:33Speaker 1: It's a it's it's the grave difference. It's the grave
- 24:37Speaker 1: dealer's close. It's there over there, man, somebody else looked
- 24:42Speaker 1: like about three holes out here. It's a busy dad,
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's a busy day. The third hole of the fourth hole. Hole. Boy,
- 24:52Speaker 1: hold l e. That's what I'm saying, yourself, something else,
- 24:58Speaker 1: my bad long before they get to me. Well, it
- 25:02Speaker 1: could be amount of time I could hold them off
- 25:04Speaker 1: if you're just go on and tell me where the
- 25:05Speaker 1: money is. Why I'm gonna get my cut. You're gonna
- 25:09Speaker 1: that boy, I'm okay, okay, you're just gonna get your
- 25:16Speaker 1: party come back right, yeah, yeah, we'll take my part. Okay,
- 25:26Speaker 1: the money. The money is at my house, in my shoe,
- 25:30Speaker 1: in my in my sock draw. All right, cool, that's
- 25:38Speaker 1: the undertakele Now, I just left the funeral food. You
- 25:43Speaker 1: ain't back yet here nine back yet because you're talking.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I had to back up to hear what you're saying.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Fun Tommy, I was leaving to you open about all right,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm back it's ants here, it's it's antswing stuff here,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you're in the ground and worms and there? Yeah, what
- 26:27Speaker 1: you think down now? It worms? I want you're crying photo.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I'm back now, I got my money. Now listen to
- 26:37Speaker 1: me when you get out, How are you going to
- 26:40Speaker 1: explain to your family? Where are you going? Tell me
- 26:45Speaker 1: what you're playing is I'm getting all the plane and
- 26:48Speaker 1: leave and I'm not going home. Did you leave my
- 26:53Speaker 1: part of the money? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. What what kind
- 26:56Speaker 1: of plane you getting on? Oh? No, just a plane?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Wait out the cat you open the door first and
- 27:07Speaker 1: we get to I need to know what your plan is,
- 27:09Speaker 1: what type of plane you planing? You plan on getting
- 27:12Speaker 1: because I heard you, Remember you was talking about getting
- 27:13Speaker 1: the private jet. No, I'm getting on Southwest. I just
- 27:17Speaker 1: didn't stupid. You can't get on Southwest and show him
- 27:22Speaker 1: your I D and the ensures company find out your
- 27:26Speaker 1: stupid self. Now you said you just gonna get on
- 27:29Speaker 1: a private jet. True, We'll just go along with this. Remember, well,
- 27:35Speaker 1: how how much as the private jet? Though? Well that's
- 27:38Speaker 1: what I wanted to talk to you. But can we go?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Why don't you open the door? Well, I just I
- 27:45Speaker 1: want you to be prepared. You probably gonna be getting
- 27:48Speaker 1: no private jet with your cut. But wait, wait it
- 27:53Speaker 1: was six million. How much did you take? How much
- 27:56Speaker 1: did you how much was ideal? I proposed again? How much?
- 28:00Speaker 1: I know what? No, I should have at least four
- 28:03Speaker 1: million dollars left because two hud grand to kill himself,
- 28:10Speaker 1: have himself, you know, killed the fakes debt. Well, I
- 28:13Speaker 1: had to take two hundred out because I had paid
- 28:15Speaker 1: him right and then what's funny did you take? Well?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Why I opened this door and talking. I think it's
- 28:27Speaker 1: best we talked about me and I can't scratch him.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I need to open the dough. Well, I kept five
- 28:36Speaker 1: and halving me. That's man, I spent two hundred thousand.
- 28:43Speaker 1: That's five point to what you got two. That's why
- 28:49Speaker 1: I asked you where you was going. You couldn't call
- 28:51Speaker 1: your wife because see, you need to have a better
- 28:55Speaker 1: plan than the one you had, cause things just changed.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I could have kept my raging family view was gonna
- 29:01Speaker 1: do this. Hold on one second right here, by following you,
- 29:05Speaker 1: I'll be with you and Jamison shortly. Who is that?
- 29:10Speaker 1: That's my drive and my butler. They standing on top
- 29:16Speaker 1: of me right now. Day over there hit in the
- 29:20Speaker 1: new limo. You got a limo? Yeah? Yeah? Oh my god?
- 29:33Speaker 1: What is this? What is it? What is something sliding
- 29:38Speaker 1: under me? I don't know. It ain't a dope, It's
- 29:46Speaker 1: a lead and stop calling it a dope. Open crap.
- 29:54Speaker 1: We'll be back next week for the bonus edition of
- 29:58Speaker 1: The Chapmans finds out what happened to f D? Who?
- 30:04Speaker 1: What D? Faking your death? I should have killed my family.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Facing mounting criticism, the Pentagon explained what happened in the
- 30:22Speaker 1: year earlier this month, when four US soldiers were killed
- 30:26Speaker 1: in an ambush. According to General Joseph Dunford, the United
- 30:29Speaker 1: States Africa Commands investigation into the incident didn't show any
- 30:34Speaker 1: signs of, at least at least initially, that the soldiers
- 30:37Speaker 1: involved had taken unnecessary risk. In a news conference, General
- 30:42Speaker 1: Dunford said that twelve US soldiers went along with thirty
- 30:46Speaker 1: Nigerian forces on a reconmission near the village of Tongo
- 30:50Speaker 1: Tongo on October three. When they were returning to their
- 30:54Speaker 1: base the next day, they were attacked by about fifty
- 30:56Speaker 1: fighters who apparently were from a local ISIS affiliate. Since
- 31:02Speaker 1: the mission was relatively low risk, there was not air
- 31:05Speaker 1: cover and the soldiers didn't call for air support until
- 31:08Speaker 1: an hour into the fight about an hour early. About
- 31:11Speaker 1: an hour later, French air support arrived, but since the
- 31:14Speaker 1: fight was so close, the planes couldn't attack and instead
- 31:17Speaker 1: circled overhead. General Dunford said, I don't have any indication
- 31:22Speaker 1: right now to believe or to know that they did
- 31:25Speaker 1: anything other than operate within the orders they were given.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And this is an ongoing investigation. I'm sure as the
- 31:32Speaker 1: days go on, we'll know more and more about this.
- 31:35Speaker 1: We still don't know UM why Sergeant Johnson, Ladavid Johnson's
- 31:41Speaker 1: body was found two miles from the rest of UM.
- 31:45Speaker 1: The officers we don't we don't know any of that yet,
- 31:47Speaker 1: but we'll we'll find out. This is an ongoing investigation,
- 31:50Speaker 1: like I said, And Masha Johnson, the widow of a
- 31:54Speaker 1: fallen soldier, Sergeant la David Johnson, who was at the
- 31:57Speaker 1: center of the controversy over what isn't a Trump said
- 32:00Speaker 1: or didn't say during a condolence phone call, UH spoke
- 32:05Speaker 1: publicly for the first time, and this was during an
- 32:07Speaker 1: interview at ABC UM. She said that the thing that
- 32:10Speaker 1: upset her the most was the phone call, uh, and
- 32:14Speaker 1: the tone of the president's voice and that he couldn't
- 32:18Speaker 1: remember her husband's name, Uh, Sergeant La David T. Johnson.
- 32:22Speaker 1: That's what upset her the most and made her cry.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And other news just he tweeted, yeah he did right
- 32:30Speaker 1: after that that he was a respectful phone call. That
- 32:34Speaker 1: was respectful and he said his name from them the beginning. Yeah.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I just think, man, if our president humble himself, well
- 32:44Speaker 1: that's not going yeah. Yeah, you can quit asking for humbleness,
- 32:49Speaker 1: and you can quit expecting an apology. Yeah, but and
- 32:55Speaker 1: you just want, you know, just hey man, some decency,
- 32:58Speaker 1: you know. But the president, how many of us have
- 33:02Speaker 1: said things. We didn't mean him that way, but the
- 33:04Speaker 1: other person took it that way. You know. We didn't. Yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 1: we didn't mean for it to come out that way,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but it did. So what do you do? You apologize
- 33:12Speaker 1: to that person. I'm sorry if you took it that way.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I certainly didn't. Actually, when they're grieving and they lost
- 33:17Speaker 1: their husband who is fighting for this country, you take
- 33:21Speaker 1: the high road. Even if she misunderstood whatever it was,
- 33:25Speaker 1: you don't attack that was horrible. That was horrible. He
- 33:30Speaker 1: doesn't and John Kelly as well. Yeah, at first she
- 33:33Speaker 1: was going great, yeah the first time because he was
- 33:36Speaker 1: talking about his own son. But when he went after
- 33:40Speaker 1: the congresswoman, that was a mistake. Now the congresswoman has
- 33:45Speaker 1: given them all types of banter because she said that
- 33:49Speaker 1: the White House is has a lot of white supremacists
- 33:53Speaker 1: in it. Yeah, that gave them what they needed to now,
- 33:58Speaker 1: you know, fireback, I'm back. And so it has turned
- 34:01Speaker 1: into something that it really should not have. From the
- 34:05Speaker 1: very beginning, I was watching Don Lemon man and he
- 34:07Speaker 1: had a great open letter to the president that he
- 34:10Speaker 1: read and I thought it was pretty much on point.
- 34:13Speaker 1: And Don Lemon addressed and it was pretty good. It
- 34:17Speaker 1: was pretty heartfelt, a great letter. You know, the fighting
- 34:22Speaker 1: that you do can't be at the expense of your constituents.
- 34:25Speaker 1: But it can't be fighting though. He has to lead
- 34:30Speaker 1: at some point, you know. Well, President Obama said it best.
- 34:33Speaker 1: He said, you can't campaign on divisiveness and then expect
- 34:39Speaker 1: to governor because you're not gonna be able to governor. Right,
- 34:43Speaker 1: you can't do that, man, after you've been campaigning on divisiveness,
- 34:47Speaker 1: you can't all of a sudden governor because all they
- 34:50Speaker 1: know is you didn't divide. It was okay, So here
- 34:52Speaker 1: we are when the last time you see a president
- 34:56Speaker 1: when the presidency and that many people take to the
- 34:58Speaker 1: streets to pick it after the vote is in, right,
- 35:02Speaker 1: right man? Yeah? Not in the march time that same weekend.
- 35:06Speaker 1: But here's the dangerous part. Can I tell you this.
- 35:10Speaker 1: If the Democrats don't get theirselves together, Yeah, they're gonna
- 35:14Speaker 1: make the same mistake that the Republicans made. If they
- 35:17Speaker 1: don't get themselves instead of spending the next four years
- 35:20Speaker 1: trying to knock him down and tear him apart and
- 35:23Speaker 1: not prepare a candidate, a viable candidate for the repeat,
- 35:30Speaker 1: he'll run again and he could win again as we speak.
- 35:36Speaker 1: That's what all those rallies are about. To me. Well,
- 35:41Speaker 1: let me say this before I answer that question. Did
- 35:44Speaker 1: you hear Mark cuban or the other day said that
- 35:46Speaker 1: he might throw his hat in the ring, but he's
- 35:48Speaker 1: going to run as a Republican though, Yes, Mark, and
- 35:51Speaker 1: then Zuckerberg from Facebook said he might run. Yeah, that
- 35:56Speaker 1: he could win because then millennials would get him in.
- 36:00Speaker 1: But you know what, you know what I'm against now though,
- 36:03Speaker 1: after seeing this president. I'm against. I think a non
- 36:07Speaker 1: politician taking that. Yeah, you have to have some knowledge
- 36:13Speaker 1: of government and how government runs and all you have
- 36:16Speaker 1: to you have to at least be a governor or something. Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 1: I agree. But here's the thing though, I think a
- 36:24Speaker 1: non political guy could go in there if you went
- 36:27Speaker 1: in there with the intent to act presidential, like I
- 36:32Speaker 1: think I could do it, Steve. You, well, she is
- 36:38Speaker 1: like this. Here's what I thought that. You know, you
- 36:43Speaker 1: couldn't go in with multiple divorces. Well he did it. Yeah, Hey, listen,
- 36:48Speaker 1: we have to go m Yeah, you would get my vote, though,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I'll say that. All right. The butterfly is coming up
- 36:58Speaker 1: at twenty after your listen Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 37:03Speaker 1: come on, introduced the butterfly. Do you know the butterfly? Louder?
- 37:10Speaker 1: We can't hear you come on a little coming say
- 37:14Speaker 1: it like you mean, you know, come on, say it?
- 37:18Speaker 1: You know? But why do you depressed? Yeah? That was
- 37:28Speaker 1: terrible anyway, Good morning, Everyone's Steven. Tommy Shirley called June
- 37:32Speaker 1: your good morning to the entire crew. How are you
- 37:33Speaker 1: all this morning? Good morning. I am in Game two
- 37:40Speaker 1: of the World's Softball Series you know, I played for
- 37:43Speaker 1: the Pink Cornets and we've been playing against the Dragonflies,
- 37:46Speaker 1: so I just wanted it's good. You know, I'm the catcher. Um,
- 37:51Speaker 1: I'm my team as far as the Pink Hornets are concerned,
- 37:54Speaker 1: and the dragon Flies are really, really a good team.
- 37:56Speaker 1: So we're looking to go seven games in this whole thing.
- 38:00Speaker 1: So I just want you guys to root for me,
- 38:01Speaker 1: and if you have time, come out and see me play.
- 38:03Speaker 1: But I'm a very very good softball player. Really, Okay,
- 38:09Speaker 1: As I catcher, I can't can't do anything. This pitched
- 38:12Speaker 1: to me. Okay, So m Junior and Stevens Gloria left
- 38:22Speaker 1: about a long time. I've been in the league for
- 38:24Speaker 1: a long time, but this is right. Yeah, I got
- 38:28Speaker 1: in the league years ago and I've been playing for
- 38:31Speaker 1: at least fifteen years. Now. Are you left or right handed?
- 38:34Speaker 1: I'm am my dextrous. I go either way. Yeah, you
- 38:42Speaker 1: know what I mean. Anyway left alright. I can talk
- 38:45Speaker 1: with both hands, which is very odd, so people like
- 38:47Speaker 1: that part. But I'm always catching. You don't never pitch,
- 38:53Speaker 1: I don't know. So you catch with your left or
- 38:56Speaker 1: right hand. I catch with my left hand and I
- 38:58Speaker 1: throw with my right. That's very talented. Catch with your
- 39:02Speaker 1: left hand and sew with your right. Boy, how do
- 39:05Speaker 1: you think it? Just posting? But I could. What I'm
- 39:08Speaker 1: saying is special, but I could. But about my left hand.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I felt with my right. I'm am. Now what I'm
- 39:19Speaker 1: saying is the glove on the left hand. But listen
- 39:27Speaker 1: to me, Stephen. My powerful arm is the left so
- 39:30Speaker 1: I can actually take the glove out and throw the
- 39:32Speaker 1: bout with the wasting time. Everybody's safe now, don't have
- 39:37Speaker 1: time to catch you with your left Take your glove off.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I promise you, Stephen, if you was on first base
- 39:42Speaker 1: and ran the second, I can take that glove out
- 39:44Speaker 1: and throw you out with that left hand. I bet
- 39:46Speaker 1: you couldn't. I bet you I can. I promise you.
- 39:50Speaker 1: You don't know nothing about some good south by. But anyway,
- 39:52Speaker 1: the peak corners were down right. Now you're supposed to squat,
- 39:57Speaker 1: But while you're squatting, you could Um. This is butterfly. Um.
- 40:06Speaker 1: When we come back from the break, are you talking? Listen,
- 40:12Speaker 1: when we come back from the break at thirty four
- 40:14Speaker 1: after we're gonna talk about music. We all love music,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and we're going to talk about death. You're listening to
- 40:20Speaker 1: the Steve in England, Plymouth Argyles soccer fan Tony Kemp
- 40:27Speaker 1: had undergone an eighteen hour brain operation after he suffered
- 40:31Speaker 1: a mini stroke. However, he lapsed into a coma after
- 40:34Speaker 1: the operation and was battling for his life in intensive care.
- 40:38Speaker 1: His family was told to expect the worst and warned
- 40:41Speaker 1: his life support machine would be switched off in forty
- 40:44Speaker 1: eight hours if he did not show signs of recovery.
- 40:47Speaker 1: All attempts to bring him back failed until his devoted
- 40:51Speaker 1: wife Dana came in played his favorite the Janner song
- 40:56Speaker 1: on her iPod, and amazingly, Tony opened his eyes. Wow. Wow,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm not familiar with the Janner song, but anyway, it's
- 41:07Speaker 1: it's a song I think from the soccer league, their fans,
- 41:10Speaker 1: they get into it. They had a part in this
- 41:12Speaker 1: song too as well. Okay, alright, so he opened his eyes.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I mean they had counted him off in two days.
- 41:18Speaker 1: They said, you know, they were gonna take the life
- 41:21Speaker 1: support machines and turn them off. But yeah, she played.
- 41:25Speaker 1: His wife played his favorite song and he opened his eyes. So, Steve,
- 41:29Speaker 1: here's the question I asked for him for him. It
- 41:33Speaker 1: got him out for him, yeah, So Steve, what songs
- 41:37Speaker 1: would would you like to hear played? If you were
- 41:38Speaker 1: in a comic that would make Yeah, I knew that one. Yeah.
- 41:43Speaker 1: And if I don't get you up, then what we're
- 41:45Speaker 1: supposed to play? I'm not going to sit there and
- 41:48Speaker 1: play music all day night. If you're going, you're going,
- 41:50Speaker 1: what what give me the list of music we need
- 41:52Speaker 1: to go through? So after that, if you ain't got up,
- 41:55Speaker 1: we know it's over. I think Tommy's still a little salty,
- 41:58Speaker 1: but up. Yeah, yeah, he just that on. Yeah, well,
- 42:02Speaker 1: you know we need five songs and if you ain't up,
- 42:06Speaker 1: no problem. That's the way of the world. Every winning
- 42:08Speaker 1: five can't hide love winning five. Okay, uh after the
- 42:13Speaker 1: morning after Maize, Uh, you can play Reach for It,
- 42:19Speaker 1: George Duke, even in the hospital right now you can. Yeah,
- 42:25Speaker 1: and then you can play Tom Brown Jamaica fun Bam,
- 42:30Speaker 1: coming back here, coming back play We're losing ro room
- 42:44Speaker 1: room boom. Well that's it. I'm going that's the world
- 42:59Speaker 1: quick and I need jeezesous key me wow, umm, all
- 43:16Speaker 1: this tedious? Ja oh hold on? Is that his movie?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Hold On? Come on to fight us, sank to Jesus
- 43:36Speaker 1: like your toast thank to Jesus who want to do it?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Oh boy, that was a close one. Steve. Glad to
- 43:49Speaker 1: have you back. Yeah yeah, nothing like the funking bud
- 43:57Speaker 1: bring you back to life some girl. I ain't mad
- 44:00Speaker 1: at that base though, Steve, I ain't mad. That's the jam.

- 44:29Speaker 1: in a coma hearing a song and an amazing leaf.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I know. Can you imagine his wife? I mean I
- 44:35Speaker 1: would have dropped to my knees and just been thanking

- 46:42Speaker 1: a plastic bag or something and have it. Have it?
- 46:47Speaker 1: Can you repeat what was left in there? Again? Well,
- 46:51Speaker 1: like I said, we got a Uh, it's like right

- 47:05Speaker 1: What else was left right? I'm trying to tell you
- 47:08Speaker 1: about all the business cards. I don't I'm not interested
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the business card because you said something else. Okay, No,
- 47:13Speaker 1: there's a coup link that we can't We can't find
- 47:15Speaker 1: the other coup link if it's here. We're looking all
- 47:18Speaker 1: over the bag to see if we can find it,
- 47:20Speaker 1: but we don't see that either. What else is in
- 47:22Speaker 1: this pocket? Like I said, you got a you got
- 47:25Speaker 1: a hundred dollars in here? There's some No, no, no, no,
- 47:29Speaker 1: you have said something to me. Yes, there's business cards.
- 47:34Speaker 1: There's an insurance card, some business cards. She said something else,
- 47:38Speaker 1: a couple link. Now there's a coup link in here
- 47:41Speaker 1: that we can come. Oh, okay, what the last there's
- 47:46Speaker 1: two condoms in here? Hello? What did did you say? Uh?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Like I said, there's a hundred dollars in here. Did
- 47:56Speaker 1: you say did you say there was some condoms in there?
- 48:00Speaker 1: There's two there's two extra large comments in here. Hello,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I'm here. I'm just trying to dodge this all the
- 48:08Speaker 1: stuff that you had just said that that was in
- 48:12Speaker 1: my husband's pocket. Now you sure that this is my husband? Chris? Uh? Well,
- 48:19Speaker 1: it has I mean maybe you know the itols man,
- 48:22Speaker 1: this is there's a there's a gray suit. There's also
- 48:25Speaker 1: a solid blue suit. That's that sounds from that sounds familiar,
- 48:29Speaker 1: But I'm not understanding that was some condoms. The phone number,
- 48:36Speaker 1: the phone number that I called, the number that attached
- 48:39Speaker 1: to this actual order. So I mean, this is the
- 48:42Speaker 1: number we have on file? Is this is this his number?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Or your home number? Was your sal what the number
- 48:47Speaker 1: is this? This is our house number? I just don't

- 49:16Speaker 1: I know he ain't cheating on me, Well not not,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I mean not necessarily. I mean, you know they could
- 49:21Speaker 1: have been there. Why why he was in his pocket?
- 49:25Speaker 1: I just don't make any damn sense. If we're married
- 49:28Speaker 1: and we don't use condor doesn't want to, what do
- 49:30Speaker 1: you have kindos in his pocket? I don't know, ma'am.

- 50:12Speaker 1: to um. If you want me to put him to
- 50:15Speaker 1: the side, I won't clean them. I'll just put him
- 50:17Speaker 1: to the side and I leave him in the same
- 50:18Speaker 1: laundry bag. Yet when you dropped them all, don't Chris,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I don't believe this. I didn't give this man good
- 50:24Speaker 1: years of my life and he's gonna turn around cheat
- 50:26Speaker 1: on me. You make sure you don't clean up, because
- 50:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it. Side on my damn self. You
- 50:33Speaker 1: put all that in the bag. I'm gonna call my
- 50:35Speaker 1: job and let him no, I'm not coming in today.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Slow down. I don't want you to get to get

- 50:50Speaker 1: up there. Who Chris is gonna get? That's all I
- 50:54Speaker 1: got to say. You make sure you have all that
- 50:56Speaker 1: stuff not clean. I don't want you to clean it.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I want you to put all that other that you
- 51:00Speaker 1: said that you found in the pocket. You put all
- 51:03Speaker 1: that in the bag because Chris is I don't know

- 51:09Speaker 1: me to call Chris, I don't want you no, no, no, no, Bobby,

- 51:26Speaker 1: just put everything in the back side like I had
- 51:28Speaker 1: ask you to. I am all my way down there
- 51:32Speaker 1: and Chris, no, this ain't going down this way. We've

- 51:50Speaker 1: Here's here's something else in the pocket too. There's a
- 51:52Speaker 1: note in here. What does this day? Okay? Man, you
- 51:56Speaker 1: know what? This has gotten way way out of hand.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I don't want to. I don't want and you need
- 52:01Speaker 1: a quick tell, Mandie Rocket, what did you need that
- 52:05Speaker 1: to me? Not a fact? I want that in the
- 52:07Speaker 1: bad too. The more evidence I have the beads is
- 52:11Speaker 1: gonna be from me. What did the note say? The
- 52:15Speaker 1: note says, this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Horbin
- 52:18Speaker 1: Morning shows. Your husband Chris got me to play ball
- 52:22Speaker 1: called shoot what Oh god, Chris was going to die tonight.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I was We was going to have a barbecue in
- 52:36Speaker 1: his honor. Do you hear Tommy, do you hear me?

- 53:27Speaker 1: to prank, you know, and prank the right way. It's
- 53:31Speaker 1: the way to prank. It's it's not for amateurs. It's
- 53:34Speaker 1: not for amateurs. You don't do it at home. Not
- 53:39Speaker 1: try this at home. What would your first lesson be?
- 53:41Speaker 1: Your first thing at the gate? Oh, always go for
- 53:49Speaker 1: what the most passionate about wife? Husband, It's pretty good time.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I thought your first lesson would be was dial the
- 53:57Speaker 1: phone number. Yeah, so it's a method who is madness?
- 54:01Speaker 1: That's all I mean. You know that's just pranked one
- 54:03Speaker 1: on one right now, when it get it gets, it
- 54:06Speaker 1: gets a little technical as we move up into ranks.
- 54:10Speaker 1: All right, well, thank you, nephew. Hey, what I want
- 54:18Speaker 1: you to do is not say that you're angry, all right,
- 54:23Speaker 1: that you're not gonna say no more? Coming up next,
- 54:26Speaker 1: Coming up next, a good friend of the show family member.
- 54:29Speaker 1: We love her, Gabrielle Union. Has been some interesting words

- 54:42Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Gabrielle
- 54:46Speaker 1: Union says, don't be ashamed to eat? But what what
- 54:52Speaker 1: did you say? Shirley? What say that again? I don't

- 55:21Speaker 1: She says, all right, she's she's She says, she's all
- 55:24Speaker 1: about equality and reciprocity, especially in the bedroom. Okay, she's
- 55:30Speaker 1: married right here? What what? What? What? What are you
- 55:39Speaker 1: talking about? What? What's wrong with you? What is wrong
- 55:43Speaker 1: with you? Eating it you're talking about? Okay, Gabrielle spoke
- 55:50Speaker 1: candidly about eating. But was y'all talking? But on your show?
- 55:54Speaker 1: Maybe the way Gabrielle You're not gonna know, but the
- 55:59Speaker 1: way Gabrielle else sees it. If a woman receives it,
- 56:02Speaker 1: she should give. She says that sex should be equal
- 56:06Speaker 1: pleasure for both partners, and a woman shouldn't be ashamed
- 56:09Speaker 1: if she's tossing her man salad. You ain't got the
- 56:15Speaker 1: I don't care about them being your friend. You ain't

- 56:22Speaker 1: On my show, Tommy told her book. She talked about,
- 56:27Speaker 1: did you go to the butt? Chapter? The boy? That's
- 56:31Speaker 1: got to be a butt chapter. If she's talking about it,
- 56:37Speaker 1: is it chapter seven? Chapter? Ain't wester butt chapter? He called,
- 56:40Speaker 1: I don't know. You ain't gonna had no damn famous friends. Okay,
- 56:49Speaker 1: that's fine, but she brought the butt out. I didn't
- 56:54Speaker 1: you want me to butt out. I'm not butting out.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I'm butting in. She brought the I mean the out,
- 56:59Speaker 1: didn't you? I mean, can you can you watch a
- 57:03Speaker 1: game and look at the wade to say, would he
- 57:07Speaker 1: go for I'm not You're not gonna have a butt
- 57:10Speaker 1: on your man. You see, the told us he shouldn't
- 57:16Speaker 1: have told us this. I'm just asking, first of all,
- 57:19Speaker 1: first all, first of all, first of all, first of all,
- 57:23Speaker 1: let's slow down, guys. Where does she supposedly say this year?
- 57:27Speaker 1: She said it on you know Sway right, He has
- 57:29Speaker 1: a radio show radio sk Absolutely, yeah, yeah, she was
- 57:36Speaker 1: on his radio show and they talked about it. He
- 57:39Speaker 1: brought the ass out on them. Shut up Tommy with him.
- 57:46Speaker 1: She broke the ass out, didn't she? Is this? What
- 57:53Speaker 1: did she say? Sway? She said, why they wouldn't give
- 57:58Speaker 1: you your own show? She said, if they give it
- 58:01Speaker 1: to me and I bring her own and she bring
- 58:04Speaker 1: this butt out? What I'm posed to say? Nothing? Oh?
- 58:08Speaker 1: Look at the time. Yeah, let's go on to the
- 58:11Speaker 1: let's go to the letter. Everybody is booty offended in
- 58:16Speaker 1: here now. It's just too much. This story stinks, you know. Yeah,
- 58:26Speaker 1: but out, Tommy, come on, but okay, all right, talking
- 58:34Speaker 1: about cause he ain't but booty hat and he has
- 58:39Speaker 1: a high Okay, all right, buckle up, hold on tight.
- 58:48Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is level. Subject. Yeah,
- 58:53Speaker 1: you're like a lot in the market. Please, good one.
- 59:01Speaker 1: All right, subject fifty five year old white man. See
- 59:05Speaker 1: right there. Race is my specializing. All right, here, here
- 59:19Speaker 1: we go, come by Steve and the show family. I
- 59:21Speaker 1: have a situation that needs an immediate resolution. I'm a
- 59:25Speaker 1: thirty eight year old African American woman who is a
- 59:28Speaker 1: single parent. I'm independent, hard working, attractive, and successful. My
- 59:34Speaker 1: problem is this, I'm at a fifty five year old
- 59:37Speaker 1: white man at the airport. We exchange business cards and
- 59:41Speaker 1: began a friendship. I started out really liking him, but
- 59:45Speaker 1: now I am not sure if I like him or
- 59:48Speaker 1: the things he does for me. He asked me to
- 59:51Speaker 1: tour Europe with him this spring. He constantly sends me gifts.
- 59:55Speaker 1: He has given me nearly three thousand dollars in the
- 59:58Speaker 1: time that we have no on each other, because he
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: says that he wants to take care of me and
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: show me that he is a good man. He says
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: that his only purpose is to ensure my happiness. I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: had to finally tell him that I did not need
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: him to take care of me because I wanted to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: want him for him and not what he can offer me.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: He says that he understands, but I know that it
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: bothers him that I continually deal with him at arms length.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: We have only met the one time at the airport,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: but speak daily. He lives in Wisconsin and I live
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: in Georgia, but the distance is not an issue because
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: he has pleaded for the last three months to fly
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: in to see me, and we both have the ability
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to travel regularly. I have continually put him off because
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I am not sure that I am ready to meet him.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I have not sorted out how I feel about both
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the race issue and the age issue. Additionally, I feel
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: that he is way too needy and clinging. I do
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: not think I don't think that he has much of
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: a life outside of marrying me. At least several times
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: a week he asked about the type of wedding I want,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: what type of ring do I prefer, or some other
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: related topic. I asked him what does he do with
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: his free time and when he does he um and
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: when does he spend time with friends? He says that
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: because of his job, he does not have time for
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: many outside activities. But I feel if he would not
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: contact me so much, he could use that time to
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: have a life outside from focusing on me. I do
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: not know how to handle the situation. He is becoming persistent.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I have told him that I need time and if
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: he wants back anything that he has given me, he
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: is welcome to it. He says that he gives from
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: his heart and would never take back anything. He is
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: a great guy, but there are times when hearing his
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: voice makes me want to scream. The cultural differences are
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: becoming more and more prevalent. The age issue is a challenge,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and his neediness is bothersome. There are moments when I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: try to envision and sleeping in bed with this man,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and I nearly lose my lunch thinking about it. Wow,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: what do I do? Please, dear, what do I do?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: This letters stress me. I'm just reading it. I just say,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: if you don't want this man, you know who you've
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: admitted as a great guy. You're an independent woman. Tell him,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: tell him just that and let it go. You know
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you've got issues with this man. Twelve minutes after we
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: don't have time. I got termed, so I'll tell you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: when we come back. Yeah, yeah, this is what your
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: boy do. And man, you're listening to the Steve Hardy
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on with your response
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to part two of this strawberry letter. Let's go. This
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: is what I do. Let him about a man, which
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I'm an expert at, and race, which I'm the other
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: expert at. I'm an expert on race and man. Who
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Let's go. I've had my own experiences. I know how
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: to feel about him, I know how to react to him.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: I've handled him. I've been trying to go through my
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: family treat and see if one of my grandmama's this
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: white got to be a check involved in this, So
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: please God, here's a letter fifty five year old white man.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Good morning, Stephen the Family Show. I have a situation
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: that needs an immediate resolution. I'm a thirty eight year
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: old African American woman who is single parent. I'm independent,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: hard working, attractive and successful. My problem is this, I'm
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: at a fifty five year old white man at the airport.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: We exchanged business cards and began a friendship. I started
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: out really liking him, but now I'm not so sure
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I like him or the things he does for me.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: He asked me to tour Europe with him this spring.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: He constantly sends me gifts. He has given me nearly
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: three thousand dollars in the time that we've known each other,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: because he says he wants to take care of me
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and show me that he's a good man. He says
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that his only purpose is to ensure my happiness. I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: had to finally tell him that I did not need
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: him to take care of me, because I wanted him
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: for him and not for what he can offer me.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: He says that he understands, but I know that evothers
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: him that I'm can senually deal with him at arms lift.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: We have only met the one time at the airport,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: but speak daily. He lives in Wisconsin, I live in Georgia,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: but the distance is not an issue because he has
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: pleaded for the last three months to fly into Sea Man.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: We both have the ability to travel regularly. I have
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: continutely put him off because I'm not sure that I'm
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: really am ready to meet him. I have not sorted
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: out how I feel about the race issue and the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: age issue. Additionally, I feel that he is way too
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: needy and clinging. I don't think that he has much
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: of a life outside of marrying me. At least several
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: times a week he asked about what type of wedding
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I want, what type of ring do I prefer, or
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: some other related topic. I asked him what he does?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Was this three times? And when he when does he
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: spend time with his friends? He said that because if
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: his job, he does not have time for many outside activities.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: But I feel he would not contact me so much
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: if he used the time to have a life aside
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: of focusing on me. I do I know how to
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: handle the situation. He's becoming persistent. I've told him that
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I need time, and if he wants back anything that
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: he's given me, he's welcome to it. He says that
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he gives from his heart and he would never take
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: anything back. He's a great guy, but there are times
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: when hearing his voice makes me want to scream. The
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: cultural differences are becoming more and more prevalent. The age
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: issue is a challenge, and his neediness is bothers HI.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: There are times when I try to envision sleeping in
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: bed with this man, and I nearly lose my lunch
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: thinking about it? What to do? Please? All? Right, here
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: we go, what to do? Please? You need to really
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: quit lying so much. See, lady, first of all, let's
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: just tell the truth. You really into this man because
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: of what he do for you. See, you can save
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: all this mess you started with me. I'm an African
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: American woman who was a single parent. That's the sympathy part.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Then here comes the I am independent, hard working, attractive
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and successful. Okay. Then if all that's happening and you
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: live in Georgia, what's the white man fault? So? Really,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I mean, let's just go. You got you pop it
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: off like you say you is in this letter? Where's
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the white man three thousand miles in Wisconsin, George, Georgia. Well,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: first of all, let's deal with Wisconsin. Very few black
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: people Georgia, damn near all black people. See, let's just
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: talk about this. So now here we go. Now you're
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: sitting up in here, you have met this fifty five.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: You're a white man at the airport. Y'all exchange business
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: caused one more time, letting us know you got your
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: thing going on. Then you started out liking him. Now
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you ain't so shoe if you like him or the
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: things he does for me. Well, we know for show
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: you like the things he do for you, because you
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: steady taking him as hard working independent all that. Come
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: to find out he's given you nearly three thousand dollars.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But see all this this is just a part of
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a lot. Because later on, she says in the letter,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: he's becoming persistent. I have told him that I need time,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: and if he wants back anything that he's given me,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: he's welcome to it. You ain't fitting to give back cash,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: So let's stop that. So left out, miss single independent.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: It's what all else he didn't bought you. I'm thinking
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: furniture and car. These are the things that you would
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: welcome a man back to. Furniture and a car. See
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: he bought your clothes because he don't know your size, right,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Your man ain't good at that. You don't bought your
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: own clothes with three thou dollar you and the baby.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: See what you didn't got yourself and some furniture, and
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you haven't got yourself a car. That's what you didn't got.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Now you want to give a couch back and the
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: car back, But you just told him he was welcome
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: to it back you didn't send it. You just said
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: he was. But he trying to show you here a
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: good man because she don't mean it. I offered, if
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: you don't want something, you know how to give anything back.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: See lady, come, when you get through the man, you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: put all kinds of stuff out on the tree lawn,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: he gonna get shipped something. Stanley and nephew Ray now
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: to bring it. Thank you, Steve. You know we gotta
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: get out of here. Email us or instagram us your

- 1:18:38Speaker 1: he say, you know, call me after dog? I say,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: why do people say after dog? They should say tell
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: me this, un Steve. Shouldn't they say after light because
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: light is what's leaving, ain't it lightning? You should say
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: after light because light's gonna be trying to work this
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: out in your mind. You shouldn't be after dark. It
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: should be after light. You don't want people to say
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: after dark. You're saying after light. See, they just leave
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: a word out there, just shortened. Timmy called me after
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: it gets dark. That's why they call it. Called me
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: after dark, after dark? Ain't that after night? But ain't
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: that after light? Though? Not necessarily pen on what time
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: it is? Okay, I don't get that one. Yeah, or
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: that one? Yeah, you're wrong, Tommy. If you got pink
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: eye and then get into a fight and get a
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: black guy, ain't that a future? Yeah? You know what
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I'm saying. Yeah, does that work for you? Yeah? You want? Yeah?
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right, tell Junior. Caesar is
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: the first person to eat a salad, and then after
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: that the Romans started eating. And that's where you get
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: romania from. You see what I'm saying. You gotta know
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: how your salad's break back? Yeah, I don't, I don't,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: don't make no sense. Caesar is the first person to
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: eat salad, and then after that the Romans started eating it,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and then that's where the romane and salad comes from.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: You understand. No, no, y'all don't see that. I don't
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: and you know right or wrong? Oh I was with you,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not finish. You have me though with
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Caesar in the first before season, but you couldn't do
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: it after he ate the salad. Damn boy, come up, Tommy,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: redeem yourself. You can't. You just you don't get it?
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: All right. So here's another thing. If a deaf child
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: gets caught cursing doing sign language, don't they mama's wash
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: their hands with soap? Oh, because they wash their mouth,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you normally want to they watch they watch their mom fier.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: So I'm telling Junior, if you're a kid and you
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: sign language and you're cussing their mama, go wash their hands.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Like what's so? Does that make any sense? No? We don't. No,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: but nice try man, y'all. Yeah, please get Oh my god,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: yeah it was so much seven minute? Yeah yeah right now,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: harding's one of my favorite segments. Tommy, you just want

- 1:23:39Speaker 1: most of us were fans of the show. I mean
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: we can say that most of us loved Sex in
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the City. Uh. Well, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte may
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: have been famous best friends, but the actresses that played
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: them were not. They said they were not friends. Kim Catrell,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: who played Samantha Tommy uh said, said we've never been friends. Yeah,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: she said, We've never been friends. She says, we've been colleagues,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: and in some way it's a very healthy place to be.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: She also denied that she made outrageous demands because you know,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: they said she wanted so much money to come back
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and do sex in the City movie Part three. You're
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. My doctors are
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: finding that the number of middle age, middle aged men
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: who injure themselves while having sex is on the rise. Guys, okay,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: and they say adventurous sex is to blame for the spike.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: I just hurt myself the other night, did see you're
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: part of the statistics. My right leg be cramping all
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the time when pretty bad, I had to stand out. Yeah,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: and you all have comfortable with sharing that information. I
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: had so much baby all on my hand. I was
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: getting out to be and had my hand on the
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: edge and the knife then snipped off, bust my whole Joe.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I feel like I thought it. Yeah. Most of the
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: injuries are occurring in the showers, Steve. That includes oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: that ain't what they happen. One time, like a couple
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: of weeks ago, I was coming out the bed room fast,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: coming out the bath from Real Fair and I dove
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: on the bed but we had satin sheet and shot
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: my ass straight to the out side sham dead into
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: that day. Well, had too much speed, too much was
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: trying to make it, trying to make them glorious, and
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: like maybe I'll come right across the sheet. Is hard
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: to fall against the wall when you it's always a performance, man, Huh.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: You gotta perform huh. And then one time across the
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: walking across the bottom of the footboard, you know, trying
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to do like I was a balance being, because sometimes
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I do like individual performances before I start right now,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: you know, I was walking across the bottom of the
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: football like a balance beam my foot I slipped off
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: like I was on damn balance me. Well, I'm with
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: robot ruining my life. You just fell off. That's where
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: these stats is coming from. Well, anyway, don't worry about
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: that story. And then the other and the other time
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I was. I was diving off the doknob, which is
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: like one of my specialties on the dough knob, and
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: dive off the doknob, and I come off in the
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: swan dive and I bust that into a jackknife, and
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: I messed around and had locked the door. But I
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: had better on my hand when I locked it dough
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: and I got off from the top of the dough
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: knob with my right foot and tried to push off
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: and it slipped and I never made it to the
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: dad injury right there. I failed to knock your face
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: over cutting of chess over you bleed. I it wasn't bad,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: you know, just a little couple of scars, you know. Uh.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: This past when I tore all the drapes down in
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: the bed room, I had put a baby all on
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: both of us. Said. We was up against the wall
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: and we started sliding, and I tried to stop to
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: fall and grab the drapes, but we kept falling, and
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: so I tore down two sections of drapes. Treatments are ruined.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: So you're never in pain or anything so much so
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: that you can't you know that you have to cancel
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: the night or anything. Huh. You know, you know sometimes
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I had to get, you know, glass of scotch, you
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: something to get. Yeah, sometimes you gotta be willing to
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: try those shirts. But I didn't know all this about Steve.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Yeah a lot, doesn't it at Yeah, yeah, a lot
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: of baby all over them. I'm getting out the bath tub.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: One time foot slipped on that snick ass tie. Flow
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: of I tow so much stuff down off of that
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: vanity term. Everything was in. Are you following, dude? I
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: told a hot and cold falset right after dope it
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: all right, more of this show coming up right after
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: these jams. You're listening to the Steve Show, all right.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Facing mounting criticism, the Pentagon explained what happened in the
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: year earlier this month, when four US soldiers were killed
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: in an ambush. According to General Joseph Dunford, the United
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: States Africa Commands investigation into the incident didn't show any
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: signs of, at least at least initially, that the soldiers
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: involved had taken unnecessary risk. In a news conference, General
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Dunford said that twelve US soldiers went along with thirty
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Nigerian forces on a reconmission near the village of Tango
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Tango on October three. When they were returning to their
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: base the next day, they were attacked by about fifty
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: fighters who apparently were from a local ISIS affiliate. Since
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: the mission was relatively low risk, there was not air cover,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: and the soldiers didn't call for air support until an
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: hour into the fight. About an hour early. About an
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: hour later, French air support arrived, but since the fight
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: was so close, the planes couldn't attack and instead circled overhead.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: General Dunford said, I don't have any indication right now
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: to believe or to know that they did anything other
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: than operate within the orders they were given. And this
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: is an ongoing investigation. I'm sure as the days go on,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: we'll know more and more about this. We still don't know, UM,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: why Sergeant Johnson David Johnson's body was found two miles
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: from the rest of UM. The officers we don't we
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: don't know any of that yet, but we'll we'll find doubt.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: This is an ongoing investigation, like I said, And Misha Johnson,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: the widow of the fallen soldier, Sergeant La David Johnson,
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: who was at the center of the controversy over what
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: President Trump said or didn't say during a condolence phone
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: call UH, spoke publicly for the first time, and this
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: was during an interview at ABC UM. She said that
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: the thing that upset her the most was the phone
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: call UH and the tone of the President's voice, and
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: that he couldn't remember her husband's name, UH, Sergeant La
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: David T. Johnson, That's what upset her the most and
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: made her cry and other news just yeah, he did
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: right after that that he was a respectful phone call.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: That was respectful, and he said his name from the
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: from the beginning. Yeah, I just think, man, if our
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: president humble himself, well that's not Yeah, yeah, you would
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: asking for humbleness, and you can quit expecting an apology. Yeah,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: but and you just want, you know, just hey man,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: some decency, you know, but from a president, how many
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: of us have said things. We didn't mean him that way,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: but the other person took it that way. You know.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: We didn't. Yeah, we didn't mean for it to come
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: out that way, but it did. So what do you do?
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: You apologize to that person. I'm sorry if you took
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: it that way. I certainly didn't. Actually, when they're grieving
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: and they lost their husband who was fighting for this country,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: you take the high road. Even if she misunderstood whatever
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: it was, you don't attack that was horrible. That was horrible.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: He doesn't. And John Kelly as well. Yeah, at first
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: she was going great, yeah the first time because he
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: was talking about his own son. But when he went
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: after the congresswoman, that was a mistake. Now the congresswoman
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: has given them all types of banter because she said
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: that the White House is has a lot of white
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: supremacists in it. Yeah, that gave them what they needed to. Now,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: you know, fireback, fire back, and so it has turned
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: into something that it really should not have from the
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: very beginning. Thank you, Steve. We'll be back with just
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: one more thing to close out the show. You're listening
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: last break of the day with just one more thing. Uh,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: here's a question or or a statement I should say,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: why friends and money don't mix. This is according to
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: the Bank of America. Now a Bank of America's study
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: found that more than half of respondents said that they
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: had seen a friendship dissolve over money borrowed and not
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: paid back, and said they would be willing to end
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: a friendship if a friend hasn't paid them back. And
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: we're not talking about big bucks here. One and three
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: people said they would end a friendship for one hundred
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: dollars or less. Owed people said it took between one
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: hundred and five hundred old to end a friendship. So,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: of course, here's the question for you guys. How much
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: would it take to end a friendship. That's how much.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: That's amazing that that really is amazing. You would end
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: a friendship over a hundred dollars or less. Five you
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: would end a friendship over five dollars, Junior, Because if
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: I asked you for the five and you're talking about
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it to you, we get into an
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: argument that we don't need to be friends. I don't
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: care if it is. It's how how much would you
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: get the moneyship over money? But never over loaning? If
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: you take my money, if you steal it from me, Yeah,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: that's good. That's it. I've never loaned money and lost
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: your friendship over a loan, you know, Yeah, but I
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: mean I see what you're saying. Money. Yeah, that makes
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: sense because you can't trust them after that, they're gonna
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: steal from you. You can't take my money, right, you
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: can't take my money. It's a round and Melvin, if
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you're listening, I still want the five dollars Jr. Hey
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: sure I'm talking. But if I loaned you some money,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: what's the number? What's the number for you? Tim? If
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: you loan somebody five hunted? If five hunted, you got
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: my undivided attention on not fooling with you though. Wow,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: yeah it got This is before I had started making money.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: So you know, if I'm being a comedian when you're
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: coming up you and had a hundred dollars and if
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: I give you five out that hunt that I needed
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: and you don't get that back, that's a problem. Well,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I mean, do they have attitude? Do they just act
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: like that's what hurts you? Loan some people some money
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: and then you know they don't come to you with
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: the same attitude that they asked for. Well, all right
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: here it is the last time I loaned somebody, Somebodey
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: the mind got in some trouble and he needed a
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: hundred thousand. Wow, I hunted down. Yeah somebody they gonna
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: go to tell me people be needing that money like that.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Well no, no, you gave in the jail. But he
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: money he had though, so what wasn't really you know?
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: So so, and that is the rule. Don't lend more
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: than you can expect to lose or you can afford
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: to lose. Right, I mean, you know he was in
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: the jail and needed That's how I gave it to him.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: And in time he was supposed to give it back
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: to me. He didn't give it back to me. Now
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: I didn't know because I had forgotten. But he called
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: He called me and said, hey, man, I don't have it.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: Can of Can I get a little more time? And
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: what was I supposed to say? No, I need it?
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Now you just said it ain't got it? Junior. Can't
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: get past the fact that you forgot, that you lent
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: somebody and how you loaned a hundred because man, I
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: have got to get that life. If I loan you
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: a hune of thousand, you can believe how much nerve
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna get on. But you know what I mean.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: You know it's all relevant, but it's a different levels.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: So eventually, uh, probably six months after he was supposed
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: to give it to me, he gave it to me.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: So you know, we're good. Now we're going along in life.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: Something happened and I look up, man, and this dude
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: has sent me something that was so valuable. He sent
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: a gift to me out of the country. And the
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: gift that he sent to me was over a half
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: million dollars. Can what he sent me? A gift that
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: was over a half million dollars because he was so
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: grateful that you helped. Who was here? Wh what's the point?
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: How do you go give somebody a hunted down? Like
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: if you go down to the banks and I'd be
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: right back because you know, like you asked me for
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: when I got to go to the ATM machine get
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: the money? Get to him? The last time he's been
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: to the A t M. Where do you go and
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: get a hunted thousand? Just write a check? He ain't
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: You couldn't get a hunt thou last time I checked? Yeah,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: ain't get Yeah, if you ain't get about three grand
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: I was going to Jamaica, sh and we was in
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: the airport and he said I need some cash and
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: went to the A t M. I went for where
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: you're going? Yeah, we all go to the A t M.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: He was the only rich person I knew that went
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: to A t So you don't have no p N
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: number nothing? No, what do you do at Huh? I
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: don't have a pin number? I don't. I don't know
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: if I have a card that would go in an ATM.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: You do. How irregular you are? You don't have no
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: card on you at all? Ever, I got a credit
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: card car. It's like an account like you don't have
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: none of that. Okay, you don't have none of these.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: Let me see you like a debit card, he's card.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: It called them two bank account just debit cards. You
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: just and you know you're gonna get charge. You don't
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: have none of them. He don't. Okay, So what are
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: we looking? Quickly? What have we learned here? Card? We've
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: learned that he got a hunter grand if we need
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: a bar, Tommy, thank you, take us home. Six. We
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: know he got a grant that all right, y'all have
