- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 7: one and only.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Oh man, oh man?
- 2:14Speaker 7: How many times I got to say that before I
- 2:17Speaker 7: get tired of it. I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:21Speaker 7: I gotta be real with you, because boy, that's Steve Harvey.
- 2:24Speaker 7: Got a radio show man. Clear indication of how God
- 2:30Speaker 7: can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he
- 2:35Speaker 7: leads your life in directions that you never ever saw coming.
- 2:39Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:39Speaker 7: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:42Speaker 7: were talking about how man, they were young, and they
- 2:44Speaker 7: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:47Speaker 7: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:53Speaker 7: help help form who they were today as an adult.
- 2:56Speaker 7: This guy is fifty years old, and you know the
- 2:59Speaker 7: same thing for you. If you look back on your
- 3:02Speaker 7: life and all of the things that you've done, it
- 3:05Speaker 7: helped shape you into who you are now. This is
- 3:09Speaker 7: provided now that you take the positive approach. Now, when
- 3:13Speaker 7: I say look back at your life and see what
- 3:15Speaker 7: you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:20Speaker 7: because the misfortunate moments were necessary.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I know it.
- 3:23Speaker 7: It's hard to see that when it's happening to you,
- 3:26Speaker 7: but the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really
- 3:31Speaker 7: makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 7: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach is when
- 3:39Speaker 7: it's cold.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Is rain in our side.
- 3:41Speaker 7: What really makes you appreciate when you're up, it's because
- 3:46Speaker 7: you've been down. See if you were up all the time,
- 3:51Speaker 7: just the nature of us as human beings, we would
- 3:53Speaker 7: lose our appreciation for it because it becomes case arrah,
- 3:57Speaker 7: whatever it is, well, it is what it is. I'm
- 4:00Speaker 7: just what you take it for granted, it becomes expected.
- 4:04Speaker 7: But what happens in life s is it has so
- 4:06Speaker 7: many twisting turns and then you learn how to deal
- 4:10Speaker 7: with those twisting turns, which makes you now a more
- 4:13Speaker 7: experienced person. And then when the sunny days come, man,
- 4:16Speaker 7: you go wild. It's really nice outside. You really want
- 4:19Speaker 7: to appreciate how warm weather. Just stay in a bunch
- 4:22Speaker 7: of cold weather all the time. You know what I'm saying.
- 4:25Speaker 7: I'm just this is really simpler now loud analogies, but
- 4:28Speaker 7: it helps you along the way. Now here's what I
- 4:32Speaker 7: came to say today to everybody out there. And this
- 4:35Speaker 7: has helped me in my life. I can't tell you
- 4:38Speaker 7: what it's done for me, but a lot of people
- 4:42Speaker 7: are struggling with moving forward with their future, their future plans,
- 4:48Speaker 7: their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes, their
- 4:54Speaker 7: future dreams, just simply that your future wants a lot
- 4:58Speaker 7: of people trying to have have a hard time mapping
- 5:01Speaker 7: out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm
- 5:04Speaker 7: gonna be, what I'm gonna make, how I'm or go
- 5:08Speaker 7: about it? What do I do next? I want to
- 5:11Speaker 7: share something with you that I had to come to
- 5:13Speaker 7: terms with. The quickest way to lose focus on your
- 5:18Speaker 7: future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You know, It's like I said at the beginning.
- 5:23Speaker 7: You know when I say it's wonderful to look at
- 5:26Speaker 7: your life and review it, because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 7: it'll tell you it really helped shape inform you today
- 5:34Speaker 7: as the person you are now. If you look at
- 5:37Speaker 7: it in a positive sense. But if you dwell in
- 5:40Speaker 7: harp on the negative that's happened to you, then that
- 5:44Speaker 7: keeps you from seeing the good in the incident, every
- 5:47Speaker 7: bad thing that's happened to you, that was a silver
- 5:50Speaker 7: lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 5: I know people who were on.
- 5:53Speaker 7: Drugs who finally, man, just got sent to prison for
- 5:57Speaker 7: stealing because of their habit. I don't cat dope. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 7: he went to prison, he told me one time, he
- 6:04Speaker 7: says Steve. He said, man, this is the best thing
- 6:06Speaker 7: ever happened to me to save my life. Now, most
- 6:09Speaker 7: people would think, how in the world is going to
- 6:12Speaker 7: prison helpful for you? The brother said, it saved my life.
- 6:17Speaker 7: First of all, it got me clean. He said, I've
- 6:19Speaker 7: been clean for five years from sitting in here. That's
- 6:23Speaker 7: for starters. I'm clean. I ain't stealing no more. I
- 6:26Speaker 7: ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else.
- 6:30Speaker 5: He said.
- 6:30Speaker 7: Now, man, I done went to college. Ou done, got
- 6:33Speaker 7: a college degree while I'm in here. Then he was
- 6:37Speaker 7: released from prison, and the brother's life was completely turned around.
- 6:41Speaker 7: He married, he got a family, he got a great job.
- 6:45Speaker 7: He go to work every day. He's a productive citizen.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 7: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:56Speaker 7: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 7: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 7: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 7: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 7: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 7: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 7: a purpose for the missteps.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Every time you fail, there was a reason for the failure.
- 7:20Speaker 7: See what I had to do was I had to
- 7:22Speaker 7: learn that all of my failures taught me how to
- 7:25Speaker 7: get back up. So I became a very strong and
- 7:28Speaker 7: tough person in getting back up. And then I was
- 7:32Speaker 7: down and out so long that it taught me how
- 7:35Speaker 7: to really appreciate the up. And so I've taken all
- 7:39Speaker 7: of that and used it those experiences that happened to me,
- 7:43Speaker 7: and I became a more experienced person. So next time
- 7:47Speaker 7: when people talk about me who don't know me. It
- 7:50Speaker 7: don't shake me, cause everybody not gonna like you. Man,
- 7:54Speaker 7: you might as well go and get on this train
- 7:55Speaker 7: right now. And so what I'm saying to you out
- 7:58Speaker 7: there is the wickest way to lose focus on your
- 8:01Speaker 7: future is to keep focusing on your past. Let it go.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, he left. Sometimes the breakup is the blessing.
- 8:10Speaker 7: I know it's hard to break up because now you're
- 8:12Speaker 7: loaneling you by yourself. But man, but weren't you in
- 8:15Speaker 7: misery when you was in that? Weren't you in complete
- 8:19Speaker 7: misery in that? Now you kept asking God to fix it.
- 8:23Speaker 7: But it takes two people to fix a relationship. It
- 8:25Speaker 7: don't just take one. It take two to make a
- 8:29Speaker 7: thing go right. It take two to make it out
- 8:32Speaker 7: of sight. You really do have to have two people
- 8:35Speaker 7: wanting a relationship to work. It can't just be one
- 8:38Speaker 7: person want a relationship, so you can pray about the
- 8:40Speaker 7: relationship all you want. If the other person don't want
- 8:44Speaker 7: you no more and ain't gonna act right, you can't
- 8:46Speaker 7: make him do that or you can't make her do that.
- 8:49Speaker 7: But you steady asking God for a new relationship. But
- 8:54Speaker 7: you are yet to be grateful that you are in
- 8:58Speaker 7: a position to have a relationship. And you keep harping
- 9:01Speaker 7: on the past. You don't think you hear that. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 7: just a dude with a show and I hear it
- 9:05Speaker 7: all the time. Let it go go forward.
- 9:09Speaker 5: It's over.
- 9:10Speaker 7: You made it, He brought you through it, you conquered,
- 9:14Speaker 7: you survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and
- 9:18Speaker 7: making it the cross around your neck when clearly he
- 9:22Speaker 7: had removed it for you. Now, all you got to
- 9:25Speaker 7: do is come on. So if you sit behind them walls,
- 9:28Speaker 7: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man,
- 9:32Speaker 7: you just got to get it right. All this repeat
- 9:35Speaker 7: offender business, that's for.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Who is that for?
- 9:38Speaker 7: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 9:41Speaker 7: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 9:45Speaker 7: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 9:48Speaker 7: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 9:50Speaker 7: a job? Are you serious?
- 9:52Speaker 4: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all, let
- 9:55Speaker 5: it go.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's move he.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Shall.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the ride Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 10:14Speaker 5: to be alive.
- 10:15Speaker 7: And well today we would discuss it all, but we
- 10:18Speaker 7: first of all got to just say thank you, Heavenly

- 16:37Speaker 6: Two years? Okay, now prior to being married three years?
- 16:41Speaker 6: How long did you guys know each other before you

- 16:44Speaker 3: Oh, stay baby, about five and a half, five six years?
- 16:47Speaker 6: About six years okay, you guys have been knowing each
- 16:49Speaker 6: other pretty close to nine years now all together.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Are you actually from the same hometowns? You grew up
- 16:55Speaker 6: in the same hometown?
- 16:57Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we grew up. I mean, is I'm sorry,
- 17:01Speaker 10: is this question?
- 17:02Speaker 6: I mean, is this about the insurance or well, I mean,
- 17:05Speaker 6: there's a few things that's actually puzzling Karmen that we
- 17:09Speaker 6: need to this. This is some news I actually didn't
- 17:14Speaker 6: want to bring you, guys. I mean we have to.
- 17:17Speaker 6: I have to actually give you this news. Looking at
- 17:19Speaker 6: our records, looking at all the test results, and let
- 17:22Speaker 6: me be the person to tell you that we run
- 17:23Speaker 6: these results over and over and over trying to make
- 17:26Speaker 6: sure we are completely one hundred and fifteen to twenty
- 17:29Speaker 6: percent right, Okay, it's.
- 17:30Speaker 3: A problem with the test.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Well, looking at our test guys, Harvey Carmen, it's indicating
- 17:37Speaker 6: that you guys are related and nine times out of ten?
- 17:41Speaker 6: You are you guys are siblings? What?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Hold on?
- 17:45Speaker 6: Man?
- 17:46Speaker 5: What?
- 17:48Speaker 6: And I understand the shop.
- 17:50Speaker 3: It took me.
- 17:51Speaker 6: It took everything I had to make this phone call.
- 17:53Speaker 6: I did not want to make it. But looking at
- 17:55Speaker 6: our records and we went over these records over and
- 17:58Speaker 6: over and the blood work tells us that you guys
- 18:01Speaker 6: are actually siblings.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Kid? Are you serious?
- 18:12Speaker 6: Wife? You know what this is not that this is
- 18:14Speaker 6: not a laughing matter, not a joking matter. You know,
- 18:17Speaker 6: Like I said, I did not want to call with
- 18:19Speaker 6: this information?
- 18:20Speaker 3: What you did make the call? Man?
- 18:23Speaker 6: Look, I don't know what.
- 18:25Speaker 11: You need to go back and and and double check
- 18:28Speaker 11: your records or something because you've been married three.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Brief check with the lab. Man, can you check with
- 18:35Speaker 3: the lab?
- 18:35Speaker 6: And like paul us back and I and I and

- 24:38Speaker 7: And your sister wanted you to confront your husband, but

- 29:39Speaker 1: You can do that anytime, not on Gallantine Night.

- 33:35Speaker 9: all all of it.
- 33:37Speaker 5: What is social media saying?
- 33:39Speaker 9: You know, the part about Samuel Jackson playing Uncle Sam
- 33:43Speaker 9: was a message.
- 33:45Speaker 1: So there was a lot of mess.
- 33:49Speaker 9: Yes, yeah, they were saying that when Samuel Jackson warned him,
- 33:55Speaker 9: you know, when he was talking about playing the game
- 33:57Speaker 9: of White America, that your performing this might be too
- 34:01Speaker 9: ghetto and all these things. It was just like little
- 34:04Speaker 9: messages and his dancers having on rare white and blue
- 34:07Speaker 9: and making the American flag flag.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yes, so it was some.

- 34:32Speaker 10: When people sang on social media. You asked about social
- 34:35Speaker 10: media Steve that it was too deep. If you didn't
- 34:37Speaker 10: get Kendrick Lamar's performance, it was too deep for you.
- 34:40Speaker 1: It was over your head. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were
- 34:43Speaker 1: saying that.
- 34:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm persons shallow, he said, what.
- 34:57Speaker 5: You know, I saw the flag got that.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah.

- 35:06Speaker 7: but I knew it had to be something meaningful. But
- 35:09Speaker 7: you're not not up on the culture that way. The
- 35:12Speaker 7: whole song that what's wrong, I wasn't understanding it. I
- 35:16Speaker 7: needed captures. And then I think the major thing was
- 35:23Speaker 7: I didn't know. I didn't know no songs except they
- 35:28Speaker 7: not like us. Yeah, okay, and then when Luther came on,
- 35:33Speaker 7: I set straight up for no damn reason that I
- 35:39Speaker 7: just would not be there. Here goes something. I know.

- 56:23Speaker 1: Subject.
- 56:24Speaker 10: He's not handsome, but he's blessed. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 56:29Speaker 10: thirty four years old and I'm dating a pastor that
- 56:32Speaker 10: is forty two years old. We are both divorced and
- 56:36Speaker 10: we met online. I'm ready for children, and although he
- 56:39Speaker 10: already has two from his first marriage, he said he'd
- 56:42Speaker 10: have another child with me. He wants us to have
- 56:45Speaker 10: sex before we get married, but I prefer to wait
- 56:49Speaker 10: until the.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Night of our wedding.
- 56:51Speaker 10: I love to tease him and sexy lingerie, and he
- 56:55Speaker 10: always jokes about ripping my nightgown off and taking whatever
- 56:58Speaker 10: he wants.
- 56:59Speaker 1: I love this man, and.
- 57:01Speaker 10: We have a great time together, but I don't like
- 57:03Speaker 10: the way he looks. He has a hard face and
- 57:07Speaker 10: a permanent frown in his forehead. He has short teeth,
- 57:12Speaker 10: but they're pearly white. My aunt and my mother warned
- 57:15Speaker 10: me against having children with him because they said my
- 57:17Speaker 10: baby will look like a grimlin. This man is anointed,
- 57:21Speaker 10: and he has been a perfect gentleman. He's a man
- 57:24Speaker 10: of God for sure, and he's blessed where it counts.
- 57:28Speaker 10: Just because I am not partaking of his blessings, I
- 57:31Speaker 10: still know what he's working with and I can't wait
- 57:34Speaker 10: to make him and it all mine. I've never been
- 57:38Speaker 10: into looks, and I think less handsome men are sexy
- 57:42Speaker 10: because they are rough looking. This man can walk around
- 57:46Speaker 10: me in nothing but his underwear and I will be
- 57:49Speaker 10: a happy woman for the rest of my life.
- 57:52Speaker 1: But my aunt and my mother.
- 57:54Speaker 10: Said I need to try it out before we get engaged,
- 57:58Speaker 10: just in case he is terrible in bed. How can
- 58:01Speaker 10: he be terrible when when he's.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Working with all of that. I need your advice on
- 58:05Speaker 1: this one.
- 58:06Speaker 10: Should I sample the goods now or wait until marriage? Okay,
- 58:13Speaker 10: just because someone as blessed as you call it doesn't
- 58:16Speaker 10: mean they know you know what to do with what
- 58:18Speaker 10: they have, So you know that's that's kind of a
- 58:23Speaker 10: funny question that you're asking. I gotta say this, so, huh,
- 58:28Speaker 10: I am.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I am.
- 58:31Speaker 10: The first thing I learned out the gate from this
- 58:33Speaker 10: letters that pastors are on dating sites and he's single.
- 58:36Speaker 10: So I'm not judging or anything, just a little surprised.
- 58:40Speaker 10: And that's not what this letter is about. It's about
- 58:42Speaker 10: should you give him a test drive before you buy
- 58:44Speaker 10: this car? So to speak? And you know what most
- 58:48Speaker 10: people do. Most people do have sex before marriage. You know,
- 58:52Speaker 10: it's admirable that you want to wait until your wedding night,
- 58:55Speaker 10: and you got to decide what's right for you.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I find it odd that you never mentioned and how
- 59:00Speaker 1: he treats you? Is he good to you?
- 59:02Speaker 10: All you're talking about is how he looks and what
- 59:05Speaker 10: he's blessed with. I think if you're holding out on
- 59:07Speaker 10: him because you truly don't want to have sex before
- 59:10Speaker 10: marriage until your wedding night, because you think God is watching,
- 59:13Speaker 10: and you mentioned that this is a man of God,
- 59:16Speaker 10: then stick.
- 59:16Speaker 1: To your beliefs. Stick to your beliefs.
- 59:18Speaker 10: But you have to stop teasing the man with your
- 59:21Speaker 10: sexy lingerie and all of that, because it doesn't sound
- 59:25Speaker 10: like the pastor can hold out much longer.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Now.
- 59:28Speaker 10: If you want to do it just because you know
- 59:30Speaker 10: your mom and your honor pressuring you, that's still not
- 59:33Speaker 10: a good reason to have sex with him. If you
- 59:35Speaker 10: don't want to, you want to wait. You know, they
- 59:39Speaker 10: don't need to be in your bedroom business anyway. So again,
- 59:43Speaker 10: this is your decision. You know, this is your decision.
- 59:46Speaker 10: If you don't mind being with and having children by
- 59:49Speaker 10: an unattractive man, as you call him a hard face
- 59:52Speaker 10: and little baby teeth, well that's up to you.
- 59:55Speaker 1: It's your life.
- 59:56Speaker 10: You say he's packing, and that seems to be all
- 59:58Speaker 10: that's important to you from this letter, then go for it.
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: Stop listening to all these other people who are into
- 1:00:04Speaker 10: your business.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: You gotta do what's right for you.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: Steve, Well, I'm gonna just tell you this right off
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: to dribble. Probably need to go on and listen to
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: Charlene on this one, because what I'm about to tell
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: you ain't nothing but truth. All I'm finna tell you
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: is nothing but truth. I'm gonna give you some facts
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: and then you have to make your own decision because
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: I can't tell you how to live your life.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: Now. You thirty four, he forty two. That's an eight
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: year difference.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: Both of y'all are divorced, and people are divorced for
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: a reason.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: Y'all met online. You ready for kids?
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: He got two from his first marriage. He said he'd
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: have another child with me. You know how many times
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: he had to say that? And you know why, because
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: he's not handsome. Ugly ass men had to hair up
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: and get in agreement with a woman. We got to
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: get on the same page because he ugly.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: You ain't.
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: You said he's not handsome, but we know what that means.
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: His ugly ass got to hair up and agreeed with
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: everything women won't because his ugly ass ain't got no
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: whole lot of options. Now, like I told you, you
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: probably need to just go on with Sherley's answer, because
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: I ain't finna give you nothing but facts. He wants
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: to have us to have sex before we get married.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: That's got a lot to do with him being ugly.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: He can't run the risk, and you waiting and starting
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: to ask questions about him and looking at him closer,
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: sitting over there, starting analyve stuff.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: You know you already got some stuff.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: I'll tell you about that in a minute, because you
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: love to tease him. In section Lnderray, he always joke
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: about ripping my nightgown off and taking whatever he wants.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: I love this man.
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: We have a great time together, but I don't like
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: the way he looks right there. He got a hard
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: face and a perfect frown in his full hits.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: But a man, got a hard face.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: That's the time to look like a rock.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: I have seen a pretty ass rock.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I've never heard that before. You look like a rock.
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: He just looked like a rock. Got a hard ass face.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: You know what, even when he smiled, he looked like
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: he crying. Just got a hard ass face. He'd be
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: telling the joke and everybody be scared.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Hold that thought. Part two.
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: Steve Harvey's response is coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: after the hour. Today's strawberry Let let her subject is
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: he's not handsome, but he's blessed.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:50Speaker 10: Well, the super Bowl was great, and you know how
- 1:02:52Speaker 10: we always watch the Super Bowl for the commercials.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: But did you guys see that Rocket commercial? Wasn't that great?
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: I was good?
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: I love that really good singing along the song.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: Yes, oh man, you don't even understand how that song
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: touched me.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: Western Virginia's and.
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: That's where I'm from. And they was talking about home ownership. Boy,
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: I said, Rocket, you better stop getting My emotions were
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: all riled up in here. I was crying with the
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: soldier on the plane and everything.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: It was really, really touching and really good.
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: It's reminding us that a big part of the American
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: dream is home ownership.
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: That moment of signing that paperwork and walking out with
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: that key.
- 1:03:33Speaker 10: Come on, man, come on, yes, home ownership the American dream.
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: Thank you Rocket.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: That's what rocket is, all right?
- 1:03:43Speaker 10: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: he's not handsome, but he's blessed.
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: Yeah, well, we'll get into that in a minute. But
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: this a man is forty two years old. Both of
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: y'all got divorced for a reason, for a reason. I'm
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: ready for children. Although he had two from his first man.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: He said he have another child with me. He can't
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: believe you want one with him. He know how he looked.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: He's so ugly. You wrote about it. You don't think
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: he heard this before. He'd heard this his whole life.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: This ain't no new information. You justin rode in on
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: the National Radio show. He's not handsome, but he played
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: because he ugly.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: I love this man. We have a great time together,
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: but I don't like the way he looked.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: He got a hard face and a permanent frown in
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: his forehead, just.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: Over that looking like a rock. Keep be telling jokes.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Ain't nobody laughing.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: Everybody had that little grimace on their face like they
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: kind of back up a little bit. You ever met
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: somebody so ugly when they talk to you, just keep
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: leaning out the way. Next thing you know, you don't
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: said even in your chair no more because you're trying
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: to deal with all.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: Listen in front of you.
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: What is this hard ass rock ass looking man got
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: a bo and then you send him be dumb about
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: he got short teeth, but they pairly white. Hell, it's
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: easy to take care of little lamb teeth. Tell ay shot,
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: he probably threw brushing his teeth in no time. You
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: can have pearly white teeth. When they shot, I got
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: all that curt coin in his head. He got his
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: whole mouth looked like a row of coin. And you
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: talking about they pearly white. Hell, it don't take him
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: no time to brush. He ain't got nothing to brush.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: And I'm telling you what. Let me tell you what
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: this woman that when she say they shot, she means
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: just coming up out the gums. That's what you're talking about,
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: that type of short jes coming up out the gums.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: So now he got pearly white, and they shot my aunt.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: My mother wore me against having children here because they
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: said my baby gonna look like a grimlet.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: They're not lying, teeth, they're not lying. This baby you
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: fit to have.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: If the baby don't look just like you, ma'am, you
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: better hope you really. Now, let me ask you this.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: You're gonna have to be honest because we don't know this.
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: Are you extremely attracted? Because you're gonna have to offset
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: with this baby? What's gonna and and and and like
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: chances are I'm just going out on the limb. I'm
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: gonna say you're not extremely attracted.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna just go out on the limb.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: I think you're an attractive woman, but you may not
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: be attractive enough to have an uglass man and have
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: a baby with an uglass man, because you gotta be
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: damn near beautiful to offset and get his baby a
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: chance of being regularly looking. See now, this baby does
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: he not gonna have a chance? He gonna grow up
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: with the little last teev that hard ass look on
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: his face, that God forbid it. Don't be a girl, Lord,
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: have mercy Jesus. This man is annoying it and He's
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: been a perfect gentleman. He's a man a god for sure.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: He's blessed where it counts. Just because I'm not partaking
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: of his blessings, I still know what he's working with
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: and I can't wait to make him and it all mine.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: Now you need to think.
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: About something now, Why is him still available? Why is
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: him online looking for love? If he's a past man
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: of the club, see something? You need to have some
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: more conversation with this man. I've never been into looks.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: I think less handsome men are sexy because they rough looking. Well, Jackpot,
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: where you're sitting on top of gold Man? If that's
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: the case, because you can't look no rougher than a rock.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: I'm telling you that right now. Here's the hard face
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: that's about as rough as you. This man could walk
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: around if you nothing but his underwear, and I'll be
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: a happy woman the rest of my life.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: But my aunt and mother said, I need to try
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: a whitman. Philip at you?
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: So?
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: Who is your aunt?
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: Yo?
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: Mama? Who is he? He's help us? Do they have men?
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: Why are you listening to them?
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: And r Mama need to try it out before we
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: get engaged, just in case he's terribly bad. How can
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: he be terrible when he's working with all that? Oh
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: me personally, I'm betting on him.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: See, he ugly, he's had to learn how to perform.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: Oh he fin he finna do everything with his power
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: because he ugly, he know hes not gonna get another shot.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: And he know the line ain't long because everybody ain't
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: seen you walking around in the draw.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Most people that are looking at that hall, they're faith doubly.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: Lafe and most people just trying to figure out how
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: I'm gonna get through marrying flavor. Flav That's what a
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: lot of them. Now you can sit there and man
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: this man with this clock around his neck, then go ahead.
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: I need your advice on this one. Should I sample
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: the good now or wait till marriage? Please help me.
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: I listen to me. If you wait ninety days and
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: you can still talk to him up close, If you
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: can wait ninety days and that hardness, that rock hard face,
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: with that permanent frown, friend, it's still not repulse in you,
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: then go ahead, all right, Steve, did this baby gonna
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: be us?
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: Hell?
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Though?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: That point now coming up?
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: We know yesterday with Super Bowl Sports Talk with Junior
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: coming up right after day.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: that can alert you the potential dangers around you.
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:10:07Speaker 11: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety Awards from two thousand
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:10:14Speaker 11: twenty four.
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: All right, Junior, it is time now for sports talk
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: with Junior's Super Bowl.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Wanting to twenty two Eagles over the Chiefs come home.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: It was fly.
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: Sing it boy.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Look Jr.
- 1:10:36Speaker 8: Domins of the first half twenty four of nothing that
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: half time.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: They had to be looking crazy.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: On the second half.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: You know when Patrick Mahon threw that touchdown pass, you
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: can see the hope on the Kansas City sideline and
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: then you can see how short that hope will was.
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: I needed Kansas City to take this whooping and visibly
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: show it was a couple of great moments here.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: I didn't have to see Taylor Swift that much.
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: I get tied on head and you know, to me,
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: Patrick Holmes is one of the greatest quarterbacks I've ever seen.
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: But now y'all can quit talking about what Jalen hurt.
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: Ain't y'all can stop that conversation right now, because with
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: Saint Kwan Barkley when they closed in on him and
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: had had a game plan for him, who you think
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: it was after that? It was Jalen hurt And that's
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: why he won the MVP. He was dropping dime. He
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: made one bad throat that whole game. Oh, he was
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: dropping dimes on them things. Man, That boy Jayleen's hurt.
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: And not to mention.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: He is a cute Did you say he's cute or
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: he's a cue?
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: Oh he was gonna miss that?
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You said rocking a purple suit? Did you see that
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: seward to the game.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: Hell yeah.
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: Now, I ain't got no egles, jersey or nothing, but
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: I did wear my paraphilia this morning. One of my
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: frat brothers that I know was pulling for Kansas City.
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: I can't tell.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: You the evening. He had.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: All texting him the whole time.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Oh, bruh, you don't even understand. I was my frad.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: It was like we had never met. Congratulations to Philly.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Congratulations to the Philly Eagles. I mean, man, them boys
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: played that game.
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: You specially out to the Philly defense man Cooper de
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: Jon and the Super Bowl perfect day.
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: He threw two interceptions in a row, and all of
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: them was defense related. Because man, if that guy hadn't
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: crashed into that offensive line and then threw him into
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: Patrick Mahone's hip, that second interception wouldn't happened.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: Yes, he fairly enjoyed that ass whooping.
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: Show coming up right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:13:30Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show. This one is from Torren in
- 1:13:34Speaker 10: Los Angeles. Steve Torren says, I'm a twenty four year
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: old single female and I have a roommate. She loves
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: to go out and sometimes she stays out all night.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: Her boyfriend calls me, and I usually lied to him
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: and say she's in her room passed out. Well, the
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: other night he showed up and said he knew I
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: was lying. And he wanted to talk. All I had
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: on was a T shirt and panties, and I've been
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: drinking wine all night. He sat on the couch and
- 1:13:59Speaker 10: I sat on him and we had sex. I don't
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: feel bad about it because she treats him like crap.
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: He wants to do it again. Should I keep pleasuring him?
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: What did you get anything from this?
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Okay, nothing's the question?
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: Should I keep pleasuring him? Does that go to the lady?
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: Let me ask your question. Does that go to the
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: woman's need to feel nurturing? Let me help him? Yeah,
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: she wanted him anyway, and she don't like her roommate.
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: I think it's a little bit of both, Steve, I
- 1:14:36Speaker 10: honestly do, because we are nurturers by nature, and you know,
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: to see other people happy and the pleasure them that
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: makes us feel good.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: You know, I'm over.
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: Here looking for her, hurting me. I wish I didn't
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: see all this.
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: Yes, where were these women when I was coming up?
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: Showed up for me?
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Oh, my girlfriend's friends couldn't stay in my ass. It's
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: not what you want to do that you had they still, Yes,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: she's out, Yeah, they tell the truth. So she keep
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: pleasuring him.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: That's what she It's not about it's not about that.
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: She gonna do it anyway what she write us for, Yeah,
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: she gonna do it anyway.
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: Yeah, she knew she don't like her mate, and she
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: and she liked this. We ain't got it. Come on,
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: Shirley next.
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, we have time for another one. See
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: this is from Teresa in Fort Myers. Teresa says, I
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: have a fifteen year old daughter and an eight year
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: old son. My son's dad has raised my daughter and
- 1:15:49Speaker 10: been the only father figure she's had in her life.
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: For her sixteenth birthday, I want to give her a
- 1:15:55Speaker 10: big sweet sixteen party, and I've asked him to be
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: a part of it. He said that he's going to
- 1:16:01Speaker 10: have to pull back from my daughter because his fiance
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: doesn't think he should focus so much on a child
- 1:16:06Speaker 10: that's not his. Do I tell my child that he's
- 1:16:09Speaker 10: no longer a part of her life? Or should he
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: tell her?
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: No, it's not it's nothing. It's not a discussion to have.
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: You don't tell, and he don't. They got to wait
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: and see how this all play out. Yeah, you know,
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: you don't go to a child and say, look, I
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: ain't finna be around no more.
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: That ain't not a fiance.
- 1:16:29Speaker 7: Yeah, you know it's trying to you know, claim her territory,
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: cut down on some of them.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: What a fiance you you're getting ready to marry a
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: good guy?
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: Yeah, man, See this is what people don't know. This
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: is who you're going to get to a child, that
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: man is He's being extra to the child, not to
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: the mother.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: Man, if she had a brain in her head, she
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: will support the kindness of the kind part of this
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: guy's heart. Because this is who you're getting, right. So
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: something of a word happened to y'all. You see, he
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: just don't abandoned.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Kids, right right.
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: Sometimes, women, when you when you meet and men, when
- 1:17:14Speaker 7: you meet a person who has a past, that past
- 1:17:18Speaker 7: can't just go away because you're in the picture.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Now right right right exactly.
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: And you shouldn't ask him to dissolve being a father
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: figure to a girl. You shouldn't ask him to do that.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: If he's still sleeping with the mama, you can request
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: that you stop.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: Sleeping with the mama.
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: You can't say that, right, But let this man, you know,
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: had this relationship with this girl.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: Man, it's important, that's important.
- 1:17:49Speaker 10: Yes, As a person who didn't have that. It is
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: extremely important. Extremely Carlo, you didn't either, so we know
- 1:17:57Speaker 10: it's important. That's important. It's so and a woman's in
- 1:18:01Speaker 10: a girl's life.

- 1:25:02Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the
- 1:25:05Speaker 10: day on this Monday after the super Bowl.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Wow, we're all exhausted.
- 1:25:11Speaker 10: I think we're all we all need Yeah.
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: Y'all, before we go too far, let me do these
- 1:25:19Speaker 7: clothes and remarks because I thought of something that I
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: think could be helpful to a lot of people. And
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: it's a thing that I've subconsciously done for a long time,
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: and I'm just not deciding to put it into words
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: or theory. You know what, Folks, if you could understand
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: that losing and winning is the same thing, it can
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: help you. Now, let me be clear, Losing isn't pleasant,
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: Losing is not what we're shooting for, But.
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: Losing often happens.
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: Basketball Players become better when they lose critical games and
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: critical moments. Boxers become better after they get beat. Teams
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: become better after they suffer a loss. The same thing
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: applies to you, because the most valuable lessons I've learned
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: in life has been behind a loss. I cannot tell
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: you the things I have come away with after a loss.
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: That's why I say, if you can get yourself to
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: understand that winning and losing is the same thing, that
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: when you.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Win, you win, but when you lose, you win.
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: Also because in that loss is oftentimes the most valuable treasures, moments, memories,
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: and lessons.
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: That you'll ever have, you will ever have.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: I have grown to learn to appreciate the losses, the disappointments.
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: Most of my disappointments and let down have pushed me
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: to the next level. I suffered a loss recently over
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: the past two weeks, and the first day that had happened,
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: it threw me into something because I really was expecting.
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: I was told by everybody, I had the paperwork to
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: back it up, it was all systems go. I had
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: got to consent from everybody around me. Everybody I was
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: doing the deal with was okay with it, and on
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: the day of the final decision, it went completely the
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: other way. I mean, it just did the most unexpected
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: turnaround it could have made. And it threw me because
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: it was a loss. So it took me a day
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: to recover. I even mentioned it on the radio a
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: couple of weeks go. It took me a minute to recover.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: But then all of a sudden I started thinking of it,
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: and my wife reminded me. She says, Steve, take your
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: own advice. She said, what do you say on your
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: radio show to people when the door closes? You said,
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: when someone closes a door in your face, don't stand
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: there beating on that door. Walk up the hall. God
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: got some more dos see. Let me tell you something, y'all.
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: When people or businesses or a deal shuts down an
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: opportunity that you consider a door that you was about
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: to walk through them people, do you know who God
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: really is? God was the creative of that opportunity. And
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: if God don't allow that opportunity to have, could it
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: be that He has a bigger and a better opportunity
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: for you. But it's going to require that you stop
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: standing there beating on the door. Open the door, open
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: the door, let me in. No no, no, no, no, turn around,
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: walk up the hall. It's some more. Doze up the hall.
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: To me.
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: This one thing that you're going through is never the
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: end all. If it was, you would be ended. You
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: Remember when you lost your job and it felt like
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: the end all? You got up you got another one.
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: Remember when they fired you you got up, You got
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: another one. Remember when you didn't graduate, you recovered.
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: You.
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: Remember when you didn't get the passing grade, you recovered.
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: Remember when everybody voted against you, you recovered. Remember when
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: everybody sided against you, took the other side, You recovered.
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: Remember when everybody was laughing at you? Who's laughing now?
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: I can't count the times that has happened for me,
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: And if you really think about it, I'm pretty sure
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: you can't count the times it's happened to you. So
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: I'm saying this to say this, Folks developed the attitude
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: that winning and losing is the same. There's a poem
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: by rudgyer Kippling and it says something, if you can
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: there's a line in the song that said, if you
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: impostors just the same, because listen to me, man, Triumph
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: and disaster they're really impostors because neither one of them
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: lasts forever. They're momentary moments. Triumph, he's an impostor because
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: you can't win all the time.
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: That's fake.
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: That's an impost Disaster is an impostor because you're not
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: gonna be in a disastrous situation all the time.
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: Winning and losing are both wins.
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: If you look at it, it's just nobody likes Nobody
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: likes the losses nobody. But I've said this how many
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: times on this show. Behind every moment of adversity, two
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: things happen. There is a lesson and there is a blessing.
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: And if you don't wallow in it, you can come
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: away with sult.
