- 1:58Speaker 3: Come on, you think I sure? Well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 6: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. You
- 2:12Speaker 6: know this week, I just been on it, So today
- 2:15Speaker 6: is no different. I'm telling you, I've just reinvigorated myself.
- 2:20Speaker 6: I'm more determined to share the principles of success. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 6: more determined to help and guide and teach as many
- 2:29Speaker 6: people as I can the things that I've learned. And
- 2:32Speaker 6: I mean, man, I've been through it. I have really
- 2:34Speaker 6: been through it. I kid you not.
- 2:36Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:36Speaker 6: I used to say, Okay, God, you know, why is
- 2:39Speaker 6: all this happening to me? But as I've gotten older,
- 2:42Speaker 6: I understand that was the ingredients. I needed the ingredients
- 2:47Speaker 6: to be this cake. I needed all those ingredients stirred up.
- 2:51Speaker 6: I need all of that different flavors, the stuff that
- 2:54Speaker 6: I didn't think tastes so good. All that stuff had
- 2:57Speaker 6: to come into the bowl in order for me to
- 3:00Speaker 6: get to where I am today. As much as I
- 3:03Speaker 6: did not like the taste of the ingredients.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Little did I know God was making this cake, not me.
- 3:10Speaker 6: But what he did was and you've heard the old
- 3:13Speaker 6: saying God could turn lemons into lemonade, Well that's what
- 3:18Speaker 6: he was doing now. At the time, it all had
- 3:23Speaker 6: a little funky lemonade lemony flavor to it, with some
- 3:27Speaker 6: other stuff in it too.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I didn't care for it.
- 3:30Speaker 6: But little did I know that I needed everything that
- 3:33Speaker 6: happened to me, that happened to me in the exact
- 3:35Speaker 6: order that it happened, and the exact array of things
- 3:39Speaker 6: that happened for me to have the knowledge I have today,
- 3:42Speaker 6: the experience, the attitude, so I could turn around and
- 3:48Speaker 6: share that information. Okay, got that out the way. This
- 3:52Speaker 6: is what I want to give to you today. I
- 3:55Speaker 6: want you to understand something that discipline determines your destiny,
- 4:01Speaker 6: not your desire. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:08Speaker 6: You've heard me say this how many times on the show. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 6: here we go again, Steve, I got it. Faith without
- 4:14Speaker 6: works is dead. But let me tell you something. To
- 4:18Speaker 6: be a hard worker, you got to be disciplined. That's
- 4:21Speaker 6: one of the hardest lessons I'm trying to get through
- 4:23Speaker 6: to my sons. You're gonna throw yourself down a cliff
- 4:28Speaker 6: if you're not a young man or a man that
- 4:30Speaker 6: possesses discipline. Because they got something for undisciplined people. They
- 4:35Speaker 6: got some street laws for undisciplined people, and they got
- 4:39Speaker 6: some federal laws and state laws for undisciplined people. So
- 4:44Speaker 6: that's why them signs is outside on the freeway, We're
- 4:46Speaker 6: gonna let you go fast, but seventy is the limit.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Seventy fast enough.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Really, if you're disciplined enough of a person to leave
- 4:55Speaker 6: your house at the time you're supposed to leave your house,
- 4:58Speaker 6: seventy miles per hour is absolutely enough. But if you're
- 5:02Speaker 6: an undisciplined person, if you don't have the wherewithal to
- 5:06Speaker 6: leave your house on time, to get ready to go
- 5:09Speaker 6: where you wanna go, see the desires where you wanna go,
- 5:13Speaker 6: the discipline is how you get there.
- 5:16Speaker 3: You understand, you can wanna go to see your family.
- 5:19Speaker 6: In California all you want, but the flight leaves at
- 5:23Speaker 6: one eighteen, You leave your house at twelve thirty. They
- 5:27Speaker 6: told you you must check in one hour before your flight. Now,
- 5:33Speaker 6: if you ain't got the discipline to get to the
- 5:35Speaker 6: airport to check in one hour before your flight, leaving
- 5:39Speaker 6: your house forty five minutes before the flight departs, what
- 5:42Speaker 6: you think gonna happen?
- 5:43Speaker 3: Your desire to go see.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Your family in la is going to be thwarted because
- 5:50Speaker 6: you lack the discipline to prepare yourself and get yourself
- 5:54Speaker 6: ready to do the things that you have to do
- 5:57Speaker 6: to make your desires come true. I'm telling you discipline
- 6:01Speaker 6: determines your destiny, not your desire. You can write down
- 6:05Speaker 6: a list of stuff you wanna do all day, but
- 6:07Speaker 6: if you don't produce and show the discipline necessary to
- 6:11Speaker 6: get there, what you think gonna happen?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Huh? Okay?
- 6:16Speaker 6: I wanna be rich, Okay, I wanna make four hundred
- 6:20Speaker 6: thousand a year. Okay, I wanna be the best player
- 6:25Speaker 6: that they is. Okay, but you don't want practice. See
- 6:29Speaker 6: the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at practice,
- 6:32Speaker 6: that's shooting jumpers when everybody gone home. That's the guy
- 6:36Speaker 6: that's gonna be the best. The guy that's never late
- 6:38Speaker 6: for practice. The guy that studied the playbook, that's the
- 6:41Speaker 6: guy that's gonna make it, not the guy that's talking crack,
- 6:45Speaker 6: got stalking that smack. I'm gonna make the Pro Bowl,
- 6:47Speaker 6: I'm gonna make the All Star Team, I'm gonna be
- 6:49Speaker 6: All American. That's just what you're saying. But discipline determines
- 6:55Speaker 6: your destiny, not your desire. So now let's talk about
- 6:58Speaker 6: this discipline. What is that, really, Steve. That's your work ethic,
- 7:03Speaker 6: that's your hunger, that's your wheel. Discipline is how hard
- 7:08Speaker 6: you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and the traits to
- 7:16Speaker 6: be what you want to be.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Did you hear me?
- 7:19Speaker 6: It is your willingness to conduct yourself in a manner
- 7:23Speaker 6: that is above and beyond what they say is necessary.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Now, this is a good example right here. Now.
- 7:31Speaker 6: You can wanna be in the NFL all you want,
- 7:34Speaker 6: But they got this thing called the NFL Combines where
- 7:37Speaker 6: they bring in some of the top players at every
- 7:40Speaker 6: position to come in and they gonna run a forty
- 7:43Speaker 6: yard dash, They're gonna do a standing broad jump, they're
- 7:47Speaker 6: gonna do a standing vertical leap, they gonna do.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Drills, running drills, cutting drills.
- 7:55Speaker 6: They can determine if a lineback of God stiff hips
- 7:59Speaker 6: by making him back pedal, point him in one direction
- 8:01Speaker 6: and throw the football in another direction.
- 8:03Speaker 3: How does he turn his body?
- 8:05Speaker 6: Now you can say you can tell everybody at your
- 8:07Speaker 6: college you want to play pro football. You tell everybody
- 8:10Speaker 6: at your high school. You can tell them in pee
- 8:11Speaker 6: wee you wanna play pro football. But they got tests
- 8:14Speaker 6: for you though. It's called the combines. Now you get
- 8:17Speaker 6: out here and you have a bad combine day, ain't
- 8:20Speaker 6: nobody trying to hear that. Let me tell you how
- 8:22Speaker 6: excuses don't work with people when they just trying to
- 8:24Speaker 6: get when they trying to win in the NFL.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The fact that you had a bad day.
- 8:29Speaker 6: At the combine and you don't run your best forties
- 8:32Speaker 6: and you keep telling them you could do better, they
- 8:34Speaker 6: don't want to hear that. Because see, what ain't nobody
- 8:37Speaker 6: gonna pay you for is to play on Sunday. And
- 8:39Speaker 6: that's one of your bad days. We paying you to
- 8:43Speaker 6: play on Sundays. But because you keep having these bad days,
- 8:48Speaker 6: because you ain't disciplined enough to put in the work
- 8:51Speaker 6: to make sure that your maximum can be called upon
- 8:53Speaker 6: at any time now you at to combine with some
- 8:56Speaker 6: slow times that go on your record. At to combine
- 9:00Speaker 6: you don't jump as high as you did when you
- 9:02Speaker 6: was at the gym class. Well, hold up, man, this
- 9:05Speaker 6: is show day now in the NFL, Sunday is show day.
- 9:09Speaker 6: What they can't run the risk of is paying you
- 9:11Speaker 6: your money and your bad day happen to be on
- 9:14Speaker 6: Sundays after we.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Didn't cut your check.
- 9:17Speaker 6: No, no, no, We looking for people who limit them
- 9:20Speaker 6: bad days, who got the discipline to work hard, to
- 9:23Speaker 6: make an effort for it. You understand what I'm saying
- 9:25Speaker 6: to your folks, Please understand this. Discipline determines your destiny,
- 9:30Speaker 6: not your desire.
- 9:32Speaker 3: If you can want it all you want, But if
- 9:35Speaker 3: you ain't working, if you ain't grinding, if you ain't hurting,
- 9:39Speaker 3: if you ain't sweating real bad, if you always somewhere,
- 9:43Speaker 3: got to chill, you got to have a cold one,
- 9:46Speaker 3: you got to smoke one, You got to do all
- 9:48Speaker 3: them things.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Can I tell you something you ain't gonna make it?
- 9:53Speaker 6: Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, anybody whatever you call yourself.
- 10:13Speaker 3: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:16Speaker 6: This is a show that starts the day every morning
- 10:21Speaker 6: by just simply reminding you how good God.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Is, man, what a blessing it is to be alive today.
- 10:29Speaker 6: You know, it is a really different I got a
- 10:32Speaker 6: phone call early this morning before I started, and it
- 10:36Speaker 6: was one of the most unexpected phone calls I've gotten
- 10:39Speaker 6: because a person lives far away from here who I
- 10:44Speaker 6: thought was just against me, not saying an enemy, but
- 10:51Speaker 6: just spoke ill of me several times. Caused me to
- 10:56Speaker 6: have to explain a couple of things. It wasn't true.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Call today and he was saying how wrong he was
- 11:04Speaker 6: about me and how he asked for my forgiveness and
- 11:08Speaker 6: moving forward. Man, could we do better and possibly do
- 11:11Speaker 6: a little business. I being the smart person that I
- 11:15Speaker 6: am today because I've learned. You know, Oh so you
- 11:19Speaker 6: was wrong about me? Oh yeah, okay, so now you know? Yeah, okay,
- 11:24Speaker 6: I told you the whole time. No, I didn't go
- 11:25Speaker 6: that route. I want you to know what, brother, Let's
- 11:28Speaker 6: do that. Man, Let's start over fresh from scratch. Let's
- 11:31Speaker 6: see what we can make happen. Man, I appreciate the
- 11:33Speaker 6: phone call man. He said, Hey, man, I'm just asking
- 11:36Speaker 6: you for forgiveness. I said, brother, that's done. That's done.
- 11:40Speaker 6: I am at an age now, man, Well, I ain't
- 11:43Speaker 6: got no time to burn bridges, hold grudges and just
- 11:49Speaker 6: keep on with some nonsense.
- 11:53Speaker 8: Man.
- 11:53Speaker 6: I let that stuff go right there. So that's how
- 11:55Speaker 6: my day started. And you know what, it proved to
- 11:57Speaker 6: me that God is always working on my behalf. He
- 12:03Speaker 6: moving stuff around. I had no idea he was moving, man,
- 12:07Speaker 6: Thank you God. I just wanted to share that with
- 12:09Speaker 6: you all this morning. Shirty Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Mississippi Monica
- 12:13Speaker 6: Junior or the Comeback Kid and the legend of Nephew
- 12:17Speaker 6: Temmy come Back. What's on your mind today?
- 12:20Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:20Speaker 9: You know you forgive now, that's who you is now. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 9: what was you like when you wasn't as forgive? You know,
- 12:28Speaker 9: when you didn't forgive as much?
- 12:29Speaker 3: What was that Steve like?
- 12:31Speaker 1: How hard was he?
- 12:36Speaker 6: You know, Junior, I'm really surprised that you bring him up.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I hear all that other stuff.
- 12:44Speaker 3: When what year?
- 12:46Speaker 1: What year did you turn?
- 12:50Speaker 3: There?
- 12:50Speaker 1: You go yesterday last birthday?
- 12:57Speaker 6: Well let me tell you what, man, I arted the
- 13:01Speaker 6: conversion about twenty one years ago. Oh wow, I tried
- 13:08Speaker 6: it thirty years ago and just failed at it. But
- 13:13Speaker 6: about twenty one years ago I started learning, and over
- 13:19Speaker 6: the years I got better and better.
- 13:20Speaker 3: This year though, I crossed over.
- 13:23Speaker 6: You know, it's just a process, man, I've been growing
- 13:25Speaker 6: up this whole time.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but Junior, don't.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Press me though, Okay, don't poke right, ain't tell me up.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Thirty two minutes after, we'll hear from the nephew as
- 13:41Speaker 7: he runs that prank bag. Right after this, you're listening
- 13:46Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:52Speaker 9: Rocket and red Finn found that most of us want
- 13:55Speaker 9: stronger connections in our neighborhoods. What about a quarter of
- 13:58Speaker 9: us worried we're bothering someone if how to start a conversation.
- 14:01Speaker 9: The thing is, real connection doesn't come from big gestures.
- 14:05Speaker 9: It comes from everyday moments, small stuff like grabbing a
- 14:08Speaker 9: package for your neighbor or holding the door. So don't
- 14:12Speaker 9: overthink it, Wade, smile, say hi, because it's the small
- 14:16Speaker 9: things that end up adding up to something much bigger.
- 14:20Speaker 9: Find a neighborhood you'll love at redfin dot com.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Nephew, tell me is here to run that prank bag?
- 14:26Speaker 7: What you got for his nef.

- 15:17Speaker 11: know how long. The therapy is going pretty good though,

- 16:13Speaker 11: really right now, and they told me not. I can
- 16:15Speaker 11: do nothing all right now.
- 16:17Speaker 8: You do know the rules are that you're not supposed
- 16:18Speaker 8: to do anything to jeopardize your back, correct.
- 16:22Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm straight. I'm straight. I ain't been

- 21:16Speaker 11: always will be. Especially y'all don't got me like this
- 21:19Speaker 11: here and there.
- 21:21Speaker 3: You have it.
- 21:22Speaker 10: I would be back in another hour with the same
- 21:24Speaker 10: ignorance as you just heard right here.
- 21:26Speaker 7: Okay, all right, coming up next and ask the COLO.
- 21:31Speaker 7: Our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building
- 21:34Speaker 7: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:42Speaker 9: Rocket and Redfinn found that most of us want stronger
- 21:45Speaker 9: connections in our neighborhoods. What about a quarter of us
- 21:48Speaker 9: worry we're bothering someone if we try to start a conversation.
- 21:51Speaker 9: The thing is, real connection doesn't come from big gestures.
- 21:55Speaker 9: It comes from everyday moments, small stuff like grabbing a
- 21:58Speaker 9: package for your neighbor within the door.
- 22:01Speaker 1: So don't overthink it.
- 22:02Speaker 9: Wait, smile, say hi, because it's the small things that
- 22:07Speaker 9: end up adding up to something much bigger. Find a
- 22:10Speaker 9: neighborhood you'll love at redfinn dot com.
- 22:13Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 22:17Speaker 7: former President Barack Obama has reacted to that viral video
- 22:21Speaker 7: depicting he and Missus Obama as apes. The debate continues
- 22:25Speaker 7: on whether or not hip hop should be part of
- 22:28Speaker 7: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and sax Global
- 22:31Speaker 7: is bankrupt and downsizing. That's all coming up at the
- 22:35Speaker 7: top of the hour. I know, I know, my heart
- 22:37Speaker 7: stopped for a second. But now it's time to ask
- 22:41Speaker 7: the celo. We're going to get into it, all right, Colo.
- 22:46Speaker 7: This is from Marie and Edison. Marie writes, my mother
- 22:49Speaker 7: in law talks to my husband like he's a child,
- 22:53Speaker 7: and I nicely asked her to stop doing it. My
- 22:56Speaker 7: husband came for me and told me to stay out
- 22:59Speaker 7: of it. Am I wrong for speaking up?
- 23:02Speaker 8: Uh?
- 23:03Speaker 3: It's sort of weird. You know, that's a different dynamic,
- 23:07Speaker 3: you know.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Uh.
- 23:08Speaker 3: She been talking to him like that his entire life. Yes,
- 23:13Speaker 3: and he has accepted it.
- 23:16Speaker 6: I mean, it's admirable that you want to you want
- 23:19Speaker 6: everybody to speak to your husband in a respectful fashion.
- 23:23Speaker 6: That's admirable. But I think what you should do is
- 23:27Speaker 6: maybe just go to her and just say, hey, uh,
- 23:31Speaker 6: Mama Tigue, I just need your favor. However you talk
- 23:34Speaker 6: to Darius, that's fine with me. But just in front
- 23:39Speaker 6: of me, could you just speak to my husband in
- 23:42Speaker 6: a respectful way? Because I don't. I don't speak to
- 23:46Speaker 6: him that way. I don't allow any other people around
- 23:49Speaker 6: me to speak to him that way. And I can't
- 23:51Speaker 6: get in a way of what y'all got. But just
- 23:53Speaker 6: when I'm in his presence, could you just not speak
- 23:56Speaker 6: to him that way? I would really appreciate.
- 23:59Speaker 7: You know, Mama Te is not trying to hear any
- 24:01Speaker 7: of that.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Well, Mama te gon mess mound get cussed out. No,
- 24:09Speaker 3: you know, Mamma Te.
- 24:11Speaker 7: You know, Mamma Te. All right, we're gonna move on.
- 24:17Speaker 7: But all right, this is from d and Memphis. D writes,
- 24:21Speaker 7: I'm not surprised, but my husband didn't get me anything
- 24:25Speaker 7: for Valentine's Day. We ran Aaron's on Valentine Valentine's Day
- 24:30Speaker 7: and picked up Mexican food all day. I waited for
- 24:33Speaker 7: a surprise gift. Should I start overlooking sex like he
- 24:37Speaker 7: overlooked Valentine's Day?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Well you went't got that?
- 24:40Speaker 7: Fish's the Mexican food.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Oh you ain't. Won't listen, I don't. I can't tell
- 24:51Speaker 6: you what to do. And you know, listen, Fellas, it
- 24:55Speaker 6: is just the way it is, man. It's not balanced.
- 25:00Speaker 6: It's not a balanced thing that we're involved in. When
- 25:02Speaker 6: we involved with a woman, it's not balanced. It's not
- 25:05Speaker 6: fifty to fifty. They require more. They got Christmas. Your
- 25:12Speaker 6: Christmas gift ain't ever equal today Christmas gilt.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Get used to it.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Then here come Valentine's Day, that is strictly for them.
- 25:20Speaker 6: It is a man showing a woman affection on it.
- 25:23Speaker 6: And we don't get nothing on Valentine's Day. Then here
- 25:26Speaker 6: come the anniversary. The anniversary is you got to make
- 25:30Speaker 6: a big deal out the anniversary for her again, Fellas,
- 25:33Speaker 6: Then you got her birthday, you got to make a
- 25:37Speaker 6: big deal out of that, Then you got Mother's Day.
- 25:40Speaker 3: It's just always sunk.
- 25:42Speaker 7: You just seem like just we just want attention, that's all.
- 25:48Speaker 3: That's all it is.
- 25:50Speaker 6: And you're gonna have to accept that, because the whole
- 25:54Speaker 6: year is set up for you to pay them attention.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Mostly becalled a lot of us ain't paid them no attention.
- 26:02Speaker 6: The rest of the sole other go there to create
- 26:05Speaker 6: all the legal holidays and reasons.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Why you have to.
- 26:09Speaker 7: We're gonna get our attention.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Okay, it's five times a year where you have to Christmas,
- 26:15Speaker 6: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, her birthday, and anniversary. It's probably
- 26:21Speaker 6: one more in here, sweetest Day, sweetest day, ain't nothing.
- 26:26Speaker 1: We don't need that.
- 26:27Speaker 7: Ain't better get something?
- 26:31Speaker 3: You can throw any holiday you won't.
- 26:34Speaker 6: Monday Juneteenth, you better go on my get here saying
- 26:41Speaker 6: this Negro national anthem?
- 26:48Speaker 3: All right?
- 26:48Speaker 7: Moving on, Moving on to Dell in Louisville. Dell writes,
- 26:53Speaker 7: my side chick took a selfie of us while I
- 26:55Speaker 7: wasn't paying attention. I told her to delete the photo
- 26:59Speaker 7: and she cried. I had no idea she was so sensitive.
- 27:03Speaker 7: I'm afraid she's catching feelings and it scares me. We've
- 27:07Speaker 7: gone too far to turn back.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Now what do I do?
- 27:11Speaker 3: I don't know you you turn back? You got to
- 27:15Speaker 3: get that phone?
- 27:18Speaker 7: Wait?
- 27:18Speaker 3: What feel or what?
- 27:19Speaker 6: You got to get that phone? The next time she
- 27:22Speaker 6: laid that phone down. You think she cried when you
- 27:25Speaker 6: asked her to delete that photo? She really gonna cry
- 27:28Speaker 6: when she can't find her phone. That phone when we
- 27:32Speaker 6: drowned this phone?
- 27:33Speaker 7: Ye, steal her phone, that's sure, advice, got to get
- 27:37Speaker 7: that phone.
- 27:42Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 27:43Speaker 1: What did he say when she started crying?
- 27:47Speaker 3: What'd you crying for? Who the hell got a sensitive
- 27:52Speaker 3: side piece?
- 27:52Speaker 4: We do that?
- 27:54Speaker 3: Oh they?
- 27:54Speaker 1: Oh?
- 27:55Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 27:58Speaker 7: Well yeah, all right? Last one, Steve, Last one. This
- 28:05Speaker 7: is from Aramis and Richardson. Aramis writes, I met a
- 28:10Speaker 7: woman online and she invited me over to watch a movie.
- 28:14Speaker 7: Her living room was filthy, and the blanket she put
- 28:18Speaker 7: over us smelled like her twenty eight pound dog. I
- 28:21Speaker 7: was so uncomfortable that I left. Here's his question? Is
- 28:26Speaker 7: this fixable? Or is a nasty house always a deal breaker?
- 28:30Speaker 8: No?
- 28:30Speaker 3: I'm out, dog. I did it. I did it? You did?
- 28:34Speaker 5: What?
- 28:34Speaker 6: Ford?
- 28:34Speaker 3: Motor Company?
- 28:35Speaker 8: Man?
- 28:35Speaker 3: I dated this beautiful girl?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, she was beautiful, beautiful, her house, her house?
- 28:44Speaker 6: Man?
- 28:45Speaker 3: Was sheal madness?
- 28:48Speaker 7: What does that mean?
- 28:50Speaker 6: I never let me tell you something. I've never been
- 28:52Speaker 6: over a woman house. That trifle really really plates with
- 28:58Speaker 6: old food on it, dishes in the sink. She ain't
- 29:03Speaker 6: do no dishes. Man, this woman's house was ripe.
- 29:08Speaker 3: How you that fine and all that come out of
- 29:11Speaker 3: that beautiful? I don't know, dog, I don't know. I
- 29:13Speaker 3: don't know.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Did you make it to the bedroom?
- 29:16Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 29:17Speaker 3: Oh you went for it. Yes, I just quit. I
- 29:23Speaker 3: just quit looking at all.
- 29:25Speaker 7: I didn't see nothing.
- 29:27Speaker 3: This ain't none of my business.
- 29:31Speaker 1: How old were you, Steve twenty? Oh?
- 29:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I had to get up, saying, man, I was
- 29:38Speaker 6: I was in that working when I got in that bedroom.
- 29:40Speaker 6: I don't mean in activity. I'm talking about helping get
- 29:42Speaker 6: stuff off the bed. I was in course, it's too
- 29:47Speaker 6: much labor. Oh it was not sexy at all, he was.
- 29:53Speaker 3: No, No, I was just in that. I was in
- 29:55Speaker 3: that work. One time. I was over there and said,
- 30:00Speaker 3: because I went back several times. She was definite.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I went back or what I said, Oh, she was beautiful.
- 30:07Speaker 6: If you if you would clean up a little bit,
- 30:10Speaker 6: you got a nice house if you would just clean up,
- 30:12Speaker 6: she said, would you help me, help.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Help washing dishes?
- 30:21Speaker 7: We gotta go see a little thing coming up there.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Dog, that's a deal breaker.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Run entertained. Right after this.
- 30:30Speaker 3: You did some an ass.
- 30:31Speaker 7: This you're listening Hardy Morning Show. In a recent podcast interview,
- 30:41Speaker 7: former President Barack Obama finally addressed the AI generated video
- 30:46Speaker 7: that Donald Trump shared on his true social account. It's
- 30:49Speaker 7: a video that depicted the former president and former First
- 30:52Speaker 7: Lady Michelle as apes. President Obama said that the shame
- 30:59Speaker 7: and decor that once guide in public officials has been
- 31:02Speaker 7: lost and is no more than a clown show on
- 31:05Speaker 7: social media and TV now. He noted that the majority
- 31:08Speaker 7: of Americans find the behavior deeply troubling, and he emphasized
- 31:13Speaker 7: that most people still believe in decency, courtesy, and kindness.
- 31:18Speaker 7: Obama said the bad behavior is ultimately a distraction from
- 31:22Speaker 7: more pressing issues. Basically true.
- 31:27Speaker 6: I mean, he's just a special guy. He's just a
- 31:30Speaker 6: special guy. They just know how to handle stuff. Reason
- 31:34Speaker 6: number one. I can't be president because I don't know
- 31:38Speaker 6: how to handle your wife. You ain't gonna believe, is it?
- 31:49Speaker 6: Oh hell yeah? Oh hell yeah.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 7: But He's right. Most Americans find this troubling, don't like it.
- 32:01Speaker 7: We do still believe in decency and courtesy and kindness.
- 32:04Speaker 7: We do.
- 32:06Speaker 6: You know, even at family few, when I'm talking to
- 32:08Speaker 6: the audience on commercial breaks, I know it's a lot
- 32:10Speaker 6: of Trump supporters in there, you know, not necessarily Maga.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Maga is different from the Trump supporters, two different fan base.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Even they laugh at it because I say, hey, man, how.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Many Trump supporters in here? And you know the strongers
- 32:26Speaker 3: raise their hands. Listen.
- 32:28Speaker 6: I have no problem with you. I have no problem
- 32:30Speaker 6: with who you voted for, you being conservative anything, I say.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I have some conservative viewpoints from my own I say.
- 32:37Speaker 6: But I'm very liberal too, I say, so whatever, there,
- 32:41Speaker 6: I said, But you have got to admit you have
- 32:44Speaker 6: got to be how many times have you been at
- 32:46Speaker 6: your house watching TV, eating and looked over that TV
- 32:49Speaker 6: and said, what the hell did he say? Or they
- 32:53Speaker 6: bust out laughing because they know, man, he's just not
- 32:57Speaker 6: a He's not presidential at all.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I go a little bit deeper than that, but you know, yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 3: all right.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Moving on, the debate continues over whether hip hop, whether
- 33:08Speaker 7: or not hip hop belongs in the rock and Roll
- 33:11Speaker 7: Hall of Fame. Famous bass guitarist Gene Simmons of Kiss
- 33:15Speaker 7: has had a long standing opinion that hip hop has
- 33:18Speaker 7: nothing to do with rock and roll. Recently, in an interview,
- 33:21Speaker 7: Simmons reignited the debate by stating that rap is a
- 33:25Speaker 7: quote spoken word art rather than rock. Simmons says that
- 33:29Speaker 7: he respects artists like Ice Cube, but maintains rappers should
- 33:34Speaker 7: have their own hall of Fame. TMZ caught up with
- 33:37Speaker 7: Chuck D from Public Enemy, and Chuck D said the
- 33:40Speaker 7: gene Simmons should be reminded that soul, reggae, and rap
- 33:45Speaker 7: are natural evolutions of the genre. He noted that rock
- 33:48Speaker 7: itself owes its roots to black music.
- 33:51Speaker 6: What do you think, Steve, I mean, that's absolutely true. Yes,
- 34:01Speaker 6: it doesn't really make a difference to me. I mean,
- 34:04Speaker 6: you know, in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
- 34:05Speaker 6: as Aretha Franklin. You know, it's a Chaka Khan. You know,
- 34:10Speaker 6: it's uh, you know, stuff like that.
- 34:13Speaker 7: Rock artists, is what you're saying.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, but if you you can't put none
- 34:17Speaker 6: of them in there, you know, Richard, uh little Richard, Yes,
- 34:24Speaker 6: all of that, all of them, all of it, Man
- 34:29Speaker 6: and brou It's just been a travesy the way we've
- 34:33Speaker 6: had to go through. I think hip hop should get
- 34:37Speaker 6: you know, they own stuff started too. But then at
- 34:41Speaker 6: the same time, I would have no problem none if
- 34:46Speaker 6: they put a Public Enemy in the rock and roll
- 34:49Speaker 6: Hall of Fame if they put up because this dude.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Richard what's his name.
- 34:56Speaker 1: In charge of it, Richard Simmons, you know he did nothing.
- 35:01Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I mean there are hip hop artists in
- 35:04Speaker 5: the rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as it should be.
- 35:06Speaker 5: You know, this is a genre of music and a lifestyle.
- 35:11Speaker 3: One hip hop artist is in the rock and roll home.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Grand Master Flash.
- 35:15Speaker 6: I think, yeah, well here and quit complaining because we're
- 35:20Speaker 6: in there. Next Well, well they in there. I'm not really,
- 35:27Speaker 6: but it's in Cleveland though, so you have somewhat of
- 35:30Speaker 6: a connection.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Yeah, So we do what we want to do up there.
- 35:35Speaker 4: The bill.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Yes, Gene, you keep running your mouth, You're gonna be out.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Your tongue back in your mouth to take that bakeup off.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Some of it. All right.
- 35:48Speaker 7: Finally, Sex Global, Okay, Carlo, we need to hold hands.
- 35:52Speaker 1: On this one. Yes, on my hand when you're doing
- 35:56Speaker 1: the story.
- 35:56Speaker 7: I know that's what I just said. We need to
- 35:58Speaker 7: hold hands.
- 35:58Speaker 8: Yes.
- 35:59Speaker 7: Sex Global, parent company of Saxsmith Avenue stores and Neeman
- 36:03Speaker 7: Marcus stores, have announced the closure of eight Sacks with
- 36:07Speaker 7: Fifth Avenue locations and one Neeman Marcus store as part
- 36:11Speaker 7: of a Chapter eleven bankruptcy restructuring. Okay, yeah, yeah. The
- 36:18Speaker 7: closures represent the initial initial phades of settling to close
- 36:23Speaker 7: five billion dollars in total debt from the twenty twenty
- 36:26Speaker 7: four merger of the two retailers. SAX stores in Birmingham, Alabama, Columbus, Ohio,
- 36:32Speaker 7: East Rutherford, New Jersey, New Orleans, Louisiana, Philly, Phoenix. Yeah
- 36:38Speaker 7: yeah yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Hotels yeah.
- 36:47Speaker 7: In there many times. Yes, yeah, they're closing soon a Richmond, Virginia,
- 36:55Speaker 7: and Tulsa, Oklahoma, they're all closing soon. But Boston's NeiMa
- 37:00Speaker 7: Marcus is the only name in Marcus store schedule to
- 37:02Speaker 7: close at this time.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You know, I would have passed out time.
- 37:12Speaker 7: That coming up at twenty minutes after today, guys is
- 37:16Speaker 7: ash Wednesday. We want to know what you're giving up
- 37:18Speaker 7: for lent. We'll talk about it right after this. You're

- 41:09Speaker 9: All right?
- 41:12Speaker 7: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour. There
- 41:14Speaker 7: is a new trend called sleep divorce and couples are
- 41:18Speaker 7: loving it. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 41:21Speaker 7: listening Hardy Morning Show. This has been trending on social media, guys,
- 41:31Speaker 7: and it's really a thing now. It's called sleep divorce.
- 41:35Speaker 7: Sleep divorce is when couples choose to sleep in separate
- 41:39Speaker 7: beds or bedrooms to improve sleep quality. They want to
- 41:43Speaker 7: reduce conflicts and improve their overall relationships, so they get
- 41:47Speaker 7: in what's called sleep divorce. Sleep divorce is often driven
- 41:50Speaker 7: by snoring. If you have a snoring partner, differing schedules
- 41:55Speaker 7: or temperature preferences. You know, some women like it cold,
- 41:58Speaker 7: Some men like it hot, you know. Reddick users noted
- 42:01Speaker 7: that they enjoy physical intimacy, they enjoy cuddling, all of that,
- 42:05Speaker 7: and then they separate for sleeping.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:09Speaker 7: Some comments viewed sleep divorce as a sign of a
- 42:12Speaker 7: failing relationship, while others say it is the best thing
- 42:16Speaker 7: they have done to save their relationship. What do you
- 42:19Speaker 7: guys think? Would you try it?
- 42:21Speaker 8: What?
- 42:22Speaker 3: I'm not leaving out the room. I gotta have my wife.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you what I did. I fell asleep
- 42:26Speaker 3: in the other room watching TV. One time. She came
- 42:29Speaker 3: in in the middle of the night and said, oh,
- 42:31Speaker 3: so this is what we're doing. M h exactly. Yeah,
- 42:34Speaker 3: I hate been back in this sense, so I'm not
- 42:37Speaker 3: gonna do that.
- 42:39Speaker 7: Got ituddle? Yeah, But you know, some couples do complain
- 42:42Speaker 7: about their their spouses snoring too loud. They can't stand
- 42:46Speaker 7: the snoring all of that.
- 42:48Speaker 8: You know.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Some men say it's too cold in the face.
- 42:51Speaker 3: My wife got a freezer. It's free yeah an arctic yes,
- 42:56Speaker 3: antarctic time. I just found it. I got menopause too.
- 43:00Speaker 3: I didn't know it. What Yeah, I got it too.
- 43:04Speaker 1: When she had I'm hot. When she called it on
- 43:07Speaker 1: board get on board with this third. I ain't got
- 43:09Speaker 1: no control of the THRM set.
- 43:10Speaker 7: I bed not touch it.
- 43:13Speaker 10: I bought a space heater, Jordan, that's what it's on
- 43:18Speaker 10: my My side of the bridge, My side of the
- 43:20Speaker 10: bed looked like summer. Hustle looked like winter. I mean,
- 43:24Speaker 10: it's it's two different world.
- 43:26Speaker 7: What about the snoring that doesn't bother you? What about you, Steve?
- 43:29Speaker 3: No, I don't snore no more. I got sleep aptery,
- 43:32Speaker 3: so I don't snore no more.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, I got Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Thank God for that. Because I had severe sleep avenue.
- 43:38Speaker 6: I was sleeping on the uh seatpacked machinem Oh yeah, yeah.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I bothered. Did that bother your wife when you had
- 43:47Speaker 1: the machine?
- 43:49Speaker 6: It bothered her when I didn't have the machine because
- 43:54Speaker 6: I was snowing and then quick breathing, And she said, Steve,
- 43:57Speaker 6: do you know at night you stopped breathing. I stopped, man.
- 44:00Speaker 6: I went to the hospital and did that sleep after
- 44:02Speaker 6: your test? Spent tonight in the hospital. They said, sir,
- 44:05Speaker 6: you're a twenty nine. Thirty is severe. You're twenty nine.
- 44:10Speaker 6: So I started sleeping on a seapack machine. You sleep better.
- 44:13Speaker 6: But I could not stand that so I wanted off
- 44:15Speaker 6: of it. So you can get off of sea pack machines.
- 44:18Speaker 6: There are things you can do. The holistic methods you
- 44:21Speaker 6: can do to get off seat take about seventy days,
- 44:23Speaker 6: but you can get on of it.
- 44:25Speaker 7: How do you feel about if it were in reverse,
- 44:28Speaker 7: if your wife was the heavy snore?
- 44:31Speaker 3: I can't My wife can't be that. But I can't
- 44:38Speaker 3: because I just feel like you're laying up that next

- 45:23Speaker 1: We got the air and the fan on, don't touch nothing.
- 45:26Speaker 3: I got the weighted blanket on my side.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, good for you. Wow, Yeah, there you go.
- 45:38Speaker 7: What have we learned from this story?
- 45:41Speaker 1: You don't like married to Steve. You can't snore.
- 45:44Speaker 3: I mean you.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Cannot snore because you're sounding like a man and you're.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Not going to do that. I'm not finn to play
- 45:50Speaker 3: this game.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Tommy needs multiple blankets in the bedroom.
- 45:55Speaker 7: It's summer on the inside of and he has a
- 45:57Speaker 7: space heater.

- 47:05Speaker 10: it just gave me more confirmation.
- 47:08Speaker 3: You know that I'm certified.
- 47:09Speaker 10: You know a lot of people ain't certified, you know,

- 48:03Speaker 1: I had a check.
- 48:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I wrote the check knowing because you know, you
- 48:07Speaker 6: used to could check, used to could cast a fifty
- 48:09Speaker 6: dollars check at a grocery store in Texas. I'd write,
- 48:13Speaker 6: go write two checks that I knew I didn't have
- 48:16Speaker 6: the money for. That would give me one hundred dollars
- 48:18Speaker 6: so I could go out on the road. And I
- 48:20Speaker 6: take the hundred dollars and get ready to go get
- 48:22Speaker 6: some gas so I could go to my gig. Then
- 48:25Speaker 6: I come back the check and bounce. So now that
- 48:29Speaker 6: fifty dollars got a twenty five dollars on top of that.
- 48:34Speaker 6: So I got a hundred, but I had to pay

- 54:18Speaker 12: I got no, I'm a call pastor. No, you should
- 54:20Speaker 12: have talked with pastor before you call me with this information.
- 54:23Speaker 12: I got one more thing I need to say that
- 54:25Speaker 12: You ain't got nothing to say to me. You donna
- 54:27Speaker 12: upset me with this talking about I bounced a check.
- 54:30Speaker 12: You should have went to pastor before you called me
- 54:32Speaker 12: with it.
- 54:33Speaker 10: I talk Pastor one I get, but I got one

- 54:39Speaker 8: To me.

- 54:46Speaker 10: You just got prayed by your girlfriend?
- 54:52Speaker 12: What did you say?
- 54:54Speaker 1: Baby?
- 54:55Speaker 4: This is.
- 54:57Speaker 12: What did you say?

- 55:07Speaker 12: He just left here flying.
- 55:10Speaker 3: She didn't let me ask you one more thing though, baby?
- 55:15Speaker 3: What is the baddest radio show in the land.
- 55:19Speaker 12: The Steve Harvey Morning.
- 55:25Speaker 3: That boy is stupid? Yes, you play too much?
- 55:38Speaker 7: Go ahead, nephew, thank you. Strawberry letter coming up subject?
- 55:42Speaker 7: Did he really figure it out? We'll get into it
- 55:44Speaker 7: right after this.
- 55:46Speaker 9: Rocket and Red Finn found that most of us want
- 55:48Speaker 9: stronger connections in our neighborhoods. What about a quarter of us? Word,
- 55:52Speaker 9: we're bothering someone if we try to start a conversation.
- 55:54Speaker 9: The thing is, real connection doesn't come from big gestures.
- 55:58Speaker 9: It comes from everyday moment, small stuff like grabbing a
- 56:02Speaker 9: package for your neighbor or holding the door. So don't
- 56:05Speaker 9: overthink it, wait, smile, say hi, because it's the small
- 56:10Speaker 9: things that end up adding up to something much bigger.

- 56:45Speaker 3: you here. It is strawberry lot.
- 56:48Speaker 7: Of thanking that for you. Subject? Did he really figure
- 56:52Speaker 7: it out? You're Stephen Shirley. I've been married for almost
- 56:55Speaker 7: three years and my husband keeps me on my toes
- 56:58Speaker 7: because he's a cheater. We're not speaking right now, and
- 57:02Speaker 7: he's threatening to divorce me. What I did was wrong,
- 57:05Speaker 7: but he flipped it on me. What I did was
- 57:09Speaker 7: I had one of my prettiest coworkers slide into my
- 57:11Speaker 7: husband's DMS. The first thing she did was ask if
- 57:15Speaker 7: he was married. He said he was in a long
- 57:17Speaker 7: time relationship, but things aren't going good. He said he
- 57:21Speaker 7: needed a new friend. They texted back and forth for
- 57:24Speaker 7: a few days before he went right in and asked
- 57:27Speaker 7: her to send a picture of her chest. I sent
- 57:31Speaker 7: her a picture I found online, and she sent it
- 57:33Speaker 7: to him. She asked him to send a picture of
- 57:36Speaker 7: his chest, and he said he'd send something a lot
- 57:39Speaker 7: better than his chest. When she got the photo, I
- 57:42Speaker 7: confirmed that it was definitely my husband. He wanted to
- 57:46Speaker 7: meet up with her, but she kept giving him excuses.
- 57:49Speaker 7: He got bored with texting her and he asked if
- 57:53Speaker 7: he could come by her job. She agreed to meet
- 57:56Speaker 7: him at the restaurant across from our job. We were
- 57:59Speaker 7: both waiting for him, and he was busted. He looked
- 58:02Speaker 7: shocked when he saw both of us there, and then
- 58:06Speaker 7: he started laughing really hard. I was cursing at him
- 58:09Speaker 7: and making a scene, and he told me to calm
- 58:12Speaker 7: down because I was the one that was busted. He
- 58:15Speaker 7: said he figured it out right away. He said he
- 58:18Speaker 7: knew I had set him up, and he went along
- 58:21Speaker 7: with it. I didn't buy it at all, because he
- 58:23Speaker 7: sent her a picture of his manhood. He said, that
- 58:26Speaker 7: is the risk I took by trying to set him up.
- 58:29Speaker 7: Now he's mad and he won't speak to me. I
- 58:32Speaker 7: don't know if he really really figured it out or
- 58:34Speaker 7: if he quickly outsmart at me. How can he be
- 58:37Speaker 7: mad at me for something he did? Okay, honestly, I'm
- 58:42Speaker 7: a little confused. Was your husband cheating before you decided
- 58:46Speaker 7: to trap him in this little game with your coworker.
- 58:50Speaker 7: I'm just not clear on that, or were you trying
- 58:52Speaker 7: to find out if he was a cheater, Because either way,
- 58:55Speaker 7: it backfired on you. That's the bottom line. This backfired
- 58:59Speaker 7: on you, and you said at it. He flipped it
- 59:01Speaker 7: on you, simple as that. Now he's got you doubting
- 59:04Speaker 7: yourself and questioning whether.
- 59:06Speaker 3: You saw what you saw.
- 59:07Speaker 7: You said you saw a picture of his manhood that
- 59:10Speaker 7: he sent to your partner in crime co worker. Anyway,
- 59:14Speaker 7: how and why does she have time for any of
- 59:17Speaker 7: this with you? You know it was your husband, and
- 59:21Speaker 7: you confirmed it now because he was able to think
- 59:24Speaker 7: fast and come up with a quick lie that sounded
- 59:27Speaker 7: good when he walked in on you. Guys, you're not
- 59:29Speaker 7: so sure anymore. He has you wondering, and he's all
- 59:33Speaker 7: in with the story. He's giving you the silent treatment
- 59:36Speaker 7: and everything. That silent treatment when you flip it on
- 59:40Speaker 7: somebody like that, that's the ultimate flip move, and he didn't. Well,
- 59:45Speaker 7: didn't you say that he's threatening to divorce you. Listen
- 59:51Speaker 7: if he's a cheater. If he's a cheater, like you say,
- 59:56Speaker 7: you don't want that, right, you don't want that. So
- 59:59Speaker 7: in this instance, divorce may be the best option for you.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: I don't know. I just think this is all crazy.
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: What you did with the friend. It's just really crazy,
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: this whole letter.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Steve all Right.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: I normally.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: Try to play the role of maybe he did this,
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: maybe not, brother, but I don't feel like that today.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I'm just gonna tell you the truth. Lady. Listen to me.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: You've been played, got played. This ain't none of.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: This the way it worked, I can tell you exactly
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: how this happened. Now, I appreciate your brother now, oh
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: nice try line. And it worked because my brother told
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: me one time when I made a mistake with these
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: two girls. I was about eighteen years old. He said,
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: little bro, the best defense is a good offense, and
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: that's how you got her. And my brother taught me
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: a lot that day. But that only works for a
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: short time. It just buys you time. Because women are
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: too smart, and this lady in this letter needs to
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: get to the part where she's smart, because right now
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: I don't know what's wrong with you. You've been married
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: three years, your husband keep you on your toes because
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: he's a cheater, and he's not talking to you right
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: now and threatening to divorce you.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Okay, So if your husband, if you got to stay.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: On your toes because your husband is a cheater, but
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: he ain't talking to you right now threatening to divorce.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: You, or why not take him up on it?
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: Why not?
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: So now you say what I did was wrong, but
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: he flipped it on me.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: You had one of your little fine coworkers to go
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: to your husband's DM. The first thing she did ask
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: if he was married, and he told her he was
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: in a term relationship, but things ain't going good, which
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: is true. Which is true. He said he needed a
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: new friend. They text back and for a few days
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: before he write in and asked her to send a
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: picture of her chest. So you went on line and
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: found a picture of a chest, gave it to girl.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: She sent it to him. She asked him to send
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: a picture his chest. He said he's seending something a
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: lot better than his chest. When she got the photo,
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: I confirmed it was definitely my husband. He wanted to
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: meet up with her, but she kept giving him excuses.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: Then he got bored with the Texas and all that said,
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: he wanted to come by her job. She agreed to
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: meet him at the restaurant across from my job. We
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: were both there waiting on him, and he was busted.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: He looked shocked when he saw the both of us,
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: and then he started laughing really hard.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Steve Thank, I'll tell you what have right after.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: We'll have part two of your response coming up stem
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: at twenty three minutes after the hour today Strawberry letter

- 1:03:13Speaker 7: into it right after this. You're listening to the Steve

- 1:03:54Speaker 7: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: is did he really figure it out?
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: Well, lady danswers, No, he didn't figure it out. You've
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: been playing. You've been married for three years with this guy.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: He keeps you on his toes because he's a cheater,
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: and you know this. So you decided, you say, one
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: day I did something I know I was wrong, but
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: he flipped it on. So you had one of your
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: fine coworkers slide into his DM start up a conversation.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: First thing, she asked him what he married. He said, nah,
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: but I'm in a long term relationship and it ain't
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: going good. That's a true statement. Your husband, who is
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: a cheater, is in a long term relationship. That's your massage,
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: and it ain't going good because he cheating.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: They started talking in all this here. A few days
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: he asked for a picture of her chest.
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: You went online, found a picture of some breasts and
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: sent it to the girl to send your husband. She said,
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: can I see a picture your chest? He said, I
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: send you something better than that. He sent his private
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: Citi lady lady showed the lady. She said, that is
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: definitely my husband. So he got tired all the Texans
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: and said could he come to her job. She played
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: him off, and then he asked her could they meet,
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: So she said, let's meet at this restaurant.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: But the restaurant was across the street from his wife's job.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: He didn't care, so he walked in the restaurant and
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: now you and your friend is sitting there. He looked
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: shocked when he saw both of y'all, but then he
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: started laughing really hard. But let me tell you something,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: if you had listened to that laugh real careful, you'd
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: heard the crying in it.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: That's how it was.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: So you was cussing at him and making a scene,
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: and he told you to calm down because you you
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: the one that's busted. He said he figured it out
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: right away. He said he knew you had set him up,
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: and he went along with him.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: I didn't buy that all because he sent a picture
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: of his man who he said, that's the risk you
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: take by trying to set him up. Wow, my man,
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I gotta tell you some point. I'm proud to tell you.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: It was some fast thing. Boy, that laughing. And then
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: but you sent a picture of your package. Yeah, but
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: that's the risk you take for trying to set me up. Boy,
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: you better be strong.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: That was strong.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: Now in words of my brother who told me at eighteen,
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: the best defense with a woman is a good offense.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: But he also told me on that day, he said, son,
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: and let me tell you something. This offense only gonna
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: buy you some time because women too smart for that.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: So this lady needs to get smart. He said, that's
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: the risk you took by trying to set him up.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: Now he's mad and won't speak to me. I don't
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: even know if he really figured it out off He
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: quickly outsmarted me. How can he be mad at me
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: for something he did? And you allowing this, lady, I
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: don't even see how you sitting in this house talking
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: about he ain't speaking to me because he mad. He mad,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: He mad because he got busted. He mad because you
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: tricked him. Now he trying to reverse it on you
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: and talking about I want a divorce. Okay, let's get one,
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: but let me explain something to you. What you're gonna be.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Paying for me?
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: Because all these dms we have screenshot at them screenshots.
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: But listen to this though. Do you know I was
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: talking to an attorney one time. He said, seventy five
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: percent of all divorces today have a social media element
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: to it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: So he busted.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: The crazy part is how you let him flip it
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: on you though, and you know that's what he did.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: But you're sitting up here talking about he mad at me?
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: How can he be mad at me for something he did?
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Bishop Barna, I keep that this is one of my
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: favorite because this really this helped me out. Bishop Bronner
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: passed in Atlanta. He said, be careful of people who
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: are victims of circumstance they created. He created these circumstances.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Now he's a victim, but he's a good actor.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Oh that boy right there. I'm actually proud of him.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: But now the part of it is, though, is the
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: fact that but you're still allowing it. And that's the
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: crazy part because you're letting it go on too long. See,
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: when you get something flipped you, all you gotta do
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: is flip it back. Because one thing about women that
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: I know you cannot out mad a woman. Boy, let
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: me tell you something. When Nate put on that I'm
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: mad at you whatever you mad about it, it's finished something.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Forget all that, flip it back on him.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: And get yourself in the upper hand where you need
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: to be.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: And the only reason you set him up with your
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: friend and work is because you already knew he was
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: a cheatering you. Was just trying to get confirmation. Then
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: when you get confirmation, he tried to cheat you out
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: of that. Yeah, So lady, just got to tell you
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: the truth. You're getting played, but you got to get
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: yourself value up, you know. Listen, Judge told her said
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: this on my show. Don't let a man have to
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: tell you twice he don't want you.

- 1:11:01Speaker 9: Leggers have Leaftter Comedy Tour. We really enjoyed y'all. Thank
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: y'all so much for the support. Okay, let's talk about it.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Okay, Canada music dog.
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: Yeah, this is the Olympic Report, the story of the
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: Olympics so far as the curling team of Canada has
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: been accused of cheating. I've never seen a fight breakout
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: ever at the Curling Championships, but we need a kind.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: It's one of the most gentile sports ever played. Oh
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: White folks is mad at each other. Now there is
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: a player on the Canadian team. The rule in curling
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: is your hand can never touch the stone. The only
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: part of the stone depart that they throw down the
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: ice and turn it is the handle.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: The Canadian player.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Had his hand.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: He was a sweeper and then he was trying to
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: guide the stone, but he pushed it with his finger.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: That's against the rules.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Only problem is in Curland there is no instant replay
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: and they cannot go to the films.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: So the sweden boy accused him of cheating. He told
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: him to go fall. He's never been seen in Curlon.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: He told him to go fall.
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: The Swedish dude took it just like a Swedish dude
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: should and said it's okay. I'll show you the film
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: after the match is over. Black Mude would have returned
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: his f off with his own f off. Difference between
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: us and then all right, So that now that's a
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: big thing right there.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: Nobody want to play junior.
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: What I'm just saying, I didn't know that you can
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: touch the stone no more.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: That's what he can't touch the stone them the rules
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: checking me bout. So what did you come in and fulk?
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: So we got to get on up in here.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: Congratulations to the US ladies Bob's slid team. The white
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: lady won that's married to the black dude and got
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: the two black kids.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: She from Duglasville, Georgia. Who the hell? Even though they
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: had a bob slid out there, she won her first
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: gold medal, and so the American women have won gold
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: and bronze.
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: At this year's Olympics. That's been the first. Also, congratulation
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: of Mexico. Mexico was the first time ever having a
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: participant in cross country skill.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: We ain't know they had snow in Mexico.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: Mexico and Haiti that somehow found somebody to know how
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: to ski in their country.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: So congratulations of boath y'all.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: I have more of this, Americans doing good in the
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: medal count the black dude and in Canada fail.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: I couldn't believe. Get your tallet up and.
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: Be back, Junior and Steve coming up at the top
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: of the Hour of Men, it's Valentine's Day to teach
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: his wife a lesson. He needs advice. We'll get into
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: that right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: Morning Show. All right, this is from Cleveland in Naples.
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: Cleveland says, I usually give my wife money for Valentine's
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: Day and she buys whatever she wants. Last year, she
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: planned a girl's weekend in Miami with the money. She
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: and three of her girlfriends stayed in a suite that
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: she paid for. She also paid for the food and
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: the uber rides and did not ask for their money.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: She tried to impress her broke girlfriends with my hard
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: earned money. So this year I gave her roses and
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: a pair of boots. She kept asking for her money,
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: and she's been mad all weekend. I hope she learned
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: a lesson. Did I do the right thing?
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Not bright, You didn't do the right thing. See, here's
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: what you can't do. Man.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: You give your girl the gift of money. But she
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: did what she wanted to do. She spent it on
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: the trip, took her girlfriends, paid for the food, the room,
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: and all the ubers to impress her girlfriends. Maybe it
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: was to say, hey, look what my husband did for me.
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: Now you're gonna teach her a lesson because you don't
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: want her girlfriends benefiting from it. So now you to
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: boss up some little ugly boots she ain't want, and
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: some little flowers just.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: Already died, you know, the boots ugly dog dog, he
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: don't know how bad.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: That's why he's been giving her money because see what
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: had happened in the past, was he gave us stuff
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: she ain't like, so he said, man, let me just
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: give her money. She been happy now she was waiting
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: on the money so she could get to what she
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: wanted to do what she wants. Why would you try
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: to teach her a lesson?
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: What lesson? What's the lesson?
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: And when you give someone a gift, isn't it their
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: gift so they can do with it whatever?
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so what do you want her to do with
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: the money? Buy some boots and some flowers?
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: Yeah, she's upset. All right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: This is from Samaya and Stanford. Samaya says, I overheard
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: my husband telling our twelve year old daughter that boys
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: only want one thing from her. I think it's a
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: harsh conversation for a twelve year old. She had a
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: crush on a boy at school, and my husband has
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: ruined it for her. Her older cousin just had a
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: baby at age seventeen, so now she's scared it will
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: happen to her. My husband says it's his job as
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: a dad to say things like that to her. Was
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: he wrong or not?
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: He did the exact thing he's supposed.
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: To do as a dad. Absolutely, so now she's scared.
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: Yeah, o father, and I want my daughter to be scared,
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: because if you're not scared, what lit seventeen year old
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: girl does having a baby in high school?
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: That could be you see, I don't just see all
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: this open parenting. Just let them go and do what
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: they want to do. Have a bunch of people, have
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: a bunch of people in your house.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: I have a bunch of people, and that's the father's job.
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: That's what men do me and want their daughters me
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: and tell them because that is what they want.
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: As a former young boy, you should.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I wanted. Didn't know what to do
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: if I had it, but do.
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: So. The mom should get on board with her husband and.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: Stop stop stopping these men from bringing to the table
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: the value that men can bring because we know something
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: about them. Boys you don't, and I'm gonna tell you
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: to get out the way at some point. So you're saying,
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: you know, we want it both ways.
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: You want the man to be there to be the
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: father and then when he's there doing fatherly advice.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, why didn't you want your daughter to be so
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: accommodating of this. Twelve year old boy.
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: Says she thought the conversation was harsh. She she, you know,
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: maybe it was too harsh, but you know what too rough.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: Take The harsh conversation is when you had to take
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: your daughter to the doctor and doctor say your your
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: daughter pregnant?
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: Exactly. Yeah, So let the let the husband handle it
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: how he sees it in this particular situation. If it's harsh,
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: it's harsh, yes, harsh time. Yeah, hell, and the daughter
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: got it because she's scared. Now, Yeah, all right, thank you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: Coming up at twenty minutes after we will have more
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. A Slovakian hockey
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: fan traveled to Milan for the Olympics and was captured
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: after living sixteen years as a fugitive. Back in twenty ten,
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: he was wanted for a string of burglaries, and he
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: managed to elude authorities until recently. Forty four year old
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: man's luck ran out. After he checked into a guesthouse
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: on the outskirts of Milan, officers quickly tracked him down
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: and took him straight to prison. The fugitive reportedly said
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: he was excited to watch his country's opening match against
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: Finland in the Olympics, but he missed it. He did
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: not expect to be arrested after sixteen years, but he
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: was a fugitive though.
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: There had all that Slovakian outfit on, had his whole
- 1:19:48Speaker 9: gear read it.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: It didn't make it.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Got your whole country home. Yeah, he was represented.
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: He was togive, all in here for this hockey game. Yeah, god,
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: damn all high dude, stay home watch on TV.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh my goodness, he was.
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: They took him straight to prison.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he had the skull cap on and scall
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: flag sweater.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Tickets, he said, sweater.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Yeah all that old boy, you knew who he was for?
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: Was him like after all the Yeah, they just they
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: tracked him down. Yeah, all right, coming up, we'll play
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: around of Woodie rather right after the domes. Stay home, Junior.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:50Speaker 9: Rocket and Red Finn found that most of us want
- 1:20:52Speaker 9: stronger connections in our neighborhoods. What about a quarter of
- 1:20:55Speaker 9: us worry we're bothering someone if we try to start
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: a conversation.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: The thing is real.
- 1:21:00Speaker 9: Connection doesn't come from big gestures. It comes from everyday moments,
- 1:21:04Speaker 9: small stuff like grabbing a package for your neighbor or
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: holding the door. So don't overthink it, Wait, smile, say hi,
- 1:21:12Speaker 9: because it's the small things that end up adding up

- 1:25:45Speaker 9: and you say.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: It was just accepted. You just accepted it, you know.
- 1:25:48Speaker 9: And what's the great part about the forgiveness part? You
- 1:25:51Speaker 9: had no bitterness about the forgiveness of nothing. You just said,
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: it's all good.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: Well, Junior, I have a couple questions for you. You know,

- 1:26:16Speaker 6: Let me ask you a question, Judy, what has been
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: one of the most valuable lessons you've learned as an adult?
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: Just one?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: Not not to quit?
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Not the quit.
- 1:26:31Speaker 9: This most important thing I've learned is not to quit.
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: You know, considering everything that I've been through and I'm
- 1:26:36Speaker 9: still here, I just learned not to quit.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: Okay, Okay, what's the most important thing you've learned about
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: women since you've been married?
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Mm hmm, oh, just give her what she wants so
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: she be quiet.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Ye, remember I tried to and you told me you're
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: doing it the wrong way.
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: You're gonna lose that. It's not a.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: Have you have you figured out, uh, the percentage that
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: you that your wife and your relationship is operating under.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: Yeah, ninety five to five. I'm assuming you got the five.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I got I got something.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, go ahead, man, you can ask me
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: a question now.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: Yeah, he did ask you a question.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: Well, I forgot what it was, sir, I was saying, answer.
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: Let me just ask you again.
- 1:27:43Speaker 9: You got the phone call this morning from somebody who
- 1:27:45Speaker 9: says they want your forgiveness, and you just said you
- 1:27:47Speaker 9: forgave them, we can start fresh, and you had no
- 1:27:51Speaker 9: bitiness about it. But what what was the important of
- 1:27:53Speaker 9: forgiving him after all things he did to you, after
- 1:27:56Speaker 9: everything he's done.
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: Well, But you know what I discovered though, If you
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: don't forgive, if you hang on to it, show me
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: the benefit for you to hang on to something. Show
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: me how if you continue to hold that against this person.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: If you don't forgive them if you keep belaboring the point,
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: if you keep allowing what he did to be a
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: part of your day whenever his name is brought up,
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: Just tell me the one benefit it is to you.
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: Just show me just any benefit. Does it make you
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: feel better? Do you have a sense of power?
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: Is it?
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: Is it enlightening? Do you feel a sense of control?
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: Because when I don't forgive a person all I feel
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: every time their name comes up, every time this subject
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: comes up, it just hundreds a sickening feeling in me.
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: It brings back all the reasons I don't like them.
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: But when it does that, I had to finally ask
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: myself what is the benefit?
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: See?
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: I stopped holding grudges a long time ago because I
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: found out, Man, there's just no benefit in it to me.
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: Can I tell you something. The person that you hate,
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: that you don't forgive that doundone you wrong? They don't
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: hardly think about it, man, They just in their life,
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: living their life. However they gonna live it. You over
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: here with all these deep concerns and all this here
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: getting mad every time they name come over, rehashing it,
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: retelling it, reliving it. Man, and them people sometimes have
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: moved on. Don't even remember what they did to you.
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: They probably have moved on doing something to somebody else.
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: And after the end of the day, man, it's just
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: you as the non forgiver. It has no benefit to you. Now,
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: I'll tell you what. When you do forgive him, guess
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: what it does.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: It frees you.
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: It allows you no longer when they name is bought up,
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: that you have to conjure up the incident again, that
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: you have to relive the moment, that you have to
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: rehash the feeling. You actually free yourself. So for me, man,
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: I don't even care. I'm gonna tell you somebody else
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: recently called me and asked me for something.
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: And the thing of it is is.
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: This guy has gotten into several situations and called me
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: and I've always assisted him. But this time I just said, hey, man,
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: I'm gonna play this fool right now. Man, I'm going
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: through a lot of stuff. And he went into the Oh,
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: so you remember what I did for you? Oh, never
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: no money, just a favor he did for me when
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: I was forty. This guy did a favor for me
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: when I was forty. Do you know he still brings
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: that favor up every time he wants something, he brings
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: that favor up. He did for me twenty nine years ago.
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: And I used to feel guilty in sending him a
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: little something. And the other day I just didn't want to.
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: I say, hey man, I'm full. I'm going through some
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: things right now. Also when I was there for you, brother, heymen,
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: do me a favor. Stop reminding me of that. You know,
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: it's just people. And but but you know what, I
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: even let him go. I just said, okay, he said,
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: so I'm gonna delete your number.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: Man, do you promt?
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: Bye?
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: Bye, Hey, y'all have my birthday today. I'm sorry from
- 1:31:55Speaker 6: what I said to y'all. Talk to God. He loved
