Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:05Speaker 2: you and Senator Uh. I got to say, this is
- 0:08Speaker 2: an email I feel like should be sent out every
- 0:10Speaker 2: single week.
- 0:11Speaker 1: What did you do at work last week?
- 0:12Speaker 2: That is an actual email sent out from doges to
- 0:15Speaker 2: government employees.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You even responded to it, well, it's it's amazing. Uh.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Every day, it seems we see the same story playing out.
- 0:25Speaker 3: We see Elon Musk holding the federal government to account.
- 0:29Speaker 3: We see Donald Trump standing up to the swamp in Washington,
- 0:33Speaker 3: and we see the media and the Democrats losing their mind.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Elon Musk with the most basic question any any boss,
- 0:41Speaker 3: asks of what did you accomplish this week? And and
- 0:44Speaker 3: somehow that is deemed shocking and unbelievable and and it
- 0:48Speaker 3: really is a sign of of of what needs to happen.
- 0:51Speaker 3: We're going to break that down and break down the
- 0:53Speaker 3: response to it as well. We're also going to talk
- 0:56Speaker 3: about a back and forth between President Trump and the
- 0:59Speaker 3: governor of Maine, where the governor of Maine, a Democrat,
- 1:03Speaker 3: is continuing what a lot of the Democrats are doing,
- 1:04Speaker 3: which is massive resistance. And in this case, boys and
- 1:08Speaker 3: Girls Sports, it turns out the Democrats they want them
- 1:11Speaker 3: some boys and girls sports, and they're willing to stand
- 1:14Speaker 3: and fight and do anything. And Trump made clear Maine
- 1:17Speaker 3: is at risk of losing hundreds of millions of dollars
- 1:21Speaker 3: in federal funds if they continue to defy the executive
- 1:25Speaker 3: orders on boys and girls sports. And the Democrat governor
- 1:28Speaker 3: is eager for that fight because that is apparently what
- 1:31Speaker 3: today's Democrat party is all about.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a really important one. We're going to talk
- 1:36Speaker 2: about that in a moment. I want to tell you
- 1:37Speaker 2: real quick about our friends over at the IFCJ. After
- 1:40Speaker 2: more than a year of war, tear and pain in Israel,
- 1:43Speaker 2: there is still a great demand for basic humanitarian aid.

- 2:01Speaker 2: dollars will provide critically needed aid to communities in the

- 2:06Speaker 2: ongoing war. Your generous donation each month will help deliver
- 2:11Speaker 2: to those in need, including evacuees and refugees from the
- 2:14Speaker 2: war torn areas, first responders and volunteers, wounded soldiers, even
- 2:19Speaker 2: elderly Holocaust survivors and families who have lost everything, plus
- 2:24Speaker 2: so many more that are in need, and you can
- 2:26Speaker 2: provide hope during this time of great uncertainty. I want
- 2:30Speaker 2: to say thank you because so many of you have
- 2:31Speaker 2: been helping and that's why we keep telling you about
- 2:34Speaker 2: the IFCJ, because you're having a real impact on the

- 2:46Speaker 2: support if CJ dot org. You can also call to
- 2:51Speaker 2: give eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight
- 2:56Speaker 2: eight eight four eight eight IFCJ eight to eight four
- 3:01Speaker 2: eight eight four three two five or support IFCJ dot organ.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Thank you for checking out their incredible work. They're doing
- 3:09Speaker 1: all right.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Before we get into the big story, Senator, I gotta
- 3:13Speaker 2: say two things. One to this audience, You guys are incredible,
- 3:17Speaker 2: and thank you for hitting that subscribe and auto download button.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And making sure you save the show.
- 3:23Speaker 2: They have changed the algorithms to actually hurt podcasts like
- 3:28Speaker 2: this one, So we want to remind you make sure
- 3:30Speaker 2: you hit that subscriber auto download button and save each
- 3:33Speaker 2: episode so that we can continue to grow the audience
- 3:37Speaker 2: and find other people out there and help give them
- 3:39Speaker 2: the important news we give you every single day. But
- 3:42Speaker 2: we also got to say thank you because this podcast.
- 3:46Speaker 2: They put out a list of the best one hundred
- 3:49Speaker 2: election podcasts, and I got to say, because of the audience,
- 3:53Speaker 2: Senator you and I, this podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz,
- 3:57Speaker 2: was ranked number one political podcasts in America for the election,
- 4:02Speaker 2: and that's amazing.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Well, that's right. This is a list that is done
- 4:06Speaker 3: by million Podcasts dot com, Millionpodcasts dot com and they
- 4:10Speaker 3: rank podcasts. They rank them based on their content, and
- 4:13Speaker 3: they put out a ranking of the best one hundred
- 4:17Speaker 3: election podcasts, and I got to say it was pretty fantastic.
- 4:20Speaker 3: But Verdict was number one in the entire country, the
- 4:23Speaker 3: single best election podcast in the country, according to Millionpodcasts
- 4:27Speaker 3: dot Com. And so that that I want to say
- 4:29Speaker 3: thank you, as Ben did to all of our listeners,
- 4:32Speaker 3: because the content we're putting out day after day is
- 4:37Speaker 3: very hard to get there. There is not another place
- 4:39Speaker 3: you can get it, and so thank you, and that's
- 4:42Speaker 3: a big win.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, huge win there, and you want to talk about
- 4:47Speaker 2: another big win you mentioned in a moment ago. I
- 4:50Speaker 2: got to say, there's certain emails that happen in headlines
- 4:53Speaker 2: right now with this administration that center I find great
- 4:57Speaker 2: joy in.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I smile.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I think a lot of people listening to show we're
- 5:01Speaker 2: going to smile at this story we're about to tell
- 5:04Speaker 2: you about, which is there was an email that went
- 5:06Speaker 2: out to all government employees saying, what'd you do last week?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Tell me the top five things you did in your job.
- 5:12Speaker 2: And the left and the unions and the woke people
- 5:15Speaker 2: in the government are just like crying and losing their minds.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Well.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Elon Musk tweeted out this week quote, consistent with President
- 5:24Speaker 3: Trump's instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email
- 5:29Speaker 3: requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure
- 5:33Speaker 3: to respond will be taken as a resignation. Very simple,
- 5:39Speaker 3: five bullet points, tell me what you got done in
- 5:42Speaker 3: the past week. Now, the media and the Democrats, they
- 5:46Speaker 3: are freaking out. A classic example is Senator Tina Smith,
- 5:51Speaker 3: senator from Minnesota, very liberal Democrat. She tweeted out the
- 5:55Speaker 3: following quote, this is the ultimate dick boss from Musk,
- 6:01Speaker 3: except he isn't even the boss, He's just a dick.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So that's the Democrats response. Asking someone what did you
- 6:09Speaker 3: get accomplished this week at work? Is unacceptable because they
- 6:14Speaker 3: live in a world where apparently meritocraty doesn't exist, where
- 6:18Speaker 3: government workers aren't expected to do anything positive for the voters,
- 6:24Speaker 3: for the taxpayers. And Elon responded to Tina Smith a
- 6:27Speaker 3: very simple question, what did you get done last week? Now,
- 6:32Speaker 3: I got to say I read that, and my reaction
- 6:37Speaker 3: immediately was, Okay, this is something, frankly, bosses do all
- 6:42Speaker 3: the time. It's a very reasonable thing. I've been in
- 6:44Speaker 3: a lot of jobs where my bosses have asked for
- 6:47Speaker 3: a weekly report at the end of the week, what
- 6:49Speaker 3: did you get accomplished. I've submitted hundreds or thousands of
- 6:53Speaker 3: weekly reports over the year of what's been accomplished during
- 6:56Speaker 3: the past week. That's something a lot of very productive
- 6:58Speaker 3: workplaces do. So I responded on Twitter. Here's what I
- 7:02Speaker 3: tweeted out in response to Elon A fair question, Elon Musk,
- 7:07Speaker 3: Here's mine. One passed out of the Senate to Take
- 7:12Speaker 3: it Down Act to Protect Kids from Deep Fake Porn.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Two confirm cash Pattel at FBI and Lutnike at Commerce. Three,
- 7:23Speaker 3: pass the Budget Resolution to secure the border, rebuild our military,
- 7:29Speaker 3: and unleash energy. Four char it a hearing on freeing
- 7:34Speaker 3: up six hundred Megahertze spectrum for commercial development so the
- 7:39Speaker 3: US will beat China to six G and five met
- 7:45Speaker 3: with twenty African ambassadors on strategies to combat China in Africa.
- 7:53Speaker 3: So that's what I did last week. And I got
- 7:56Speaker 3: to say, you know, it's an interesting thing. Why does
- 7:59Speaker 3: it all hundred senators report back on what they accomplished
- 8:04Speaker 3: last week. I think it's a perfectly fine thing for
- 8:08Speaker 3: federal employees to do it. But at the end of
- 8:10Speaker 3: the day, I've got thirty one million bosses. I work
- 8:13Speaker 3: for every man, woman, and child in the great State
- 8:16Speaker 3: of Texas, and I try on a regular basis. In fact,
- 8:20Speaker 3: this podcast is an aspect of that accountability. It's an
- 8:22Speaker 3: aspect of sharing with the men and women I work for,
- 8:27Speaker 3: what it is that I'm doing, what I'm fighting for,
- 8:29Speaker 3: and what we're able to get accomplished. And it really
- 8:32Speaker 3: does say something about the current surreal expectations of Democrats
- 8:42Speaker 3: and federal government workers that asking what did you do
- 8:44Speaker 3: last week?
- 8:45Speaker 2: You know when the woke left was like, oh, we
- 8:47Speaker 2: got to have like safe spaces for people in colleges
- 8:50Speaker 2: and kids. That's in essence what their response is here.
- 8:54Speaker 2: They came out hardcore and they're like, how dare you?
- 8:57Speaker 2: This is harassment to ask what we did last week?
- 9:00Speaker 2: You're making us stressed out. This is making people worry
- 9:05Speaker 2: and fearful for their jobs. Yeah, if you're not doing
- 9:09Speaker 2: your job, you should be fearful. If your job is
- 9:12Speaker 2: something that you can't even explain, you should be fearful
- 9:15Speaker 2: you're going to lose your job. But this idea that
- 9:18Speaker 2: this is quote harassment, We had unions that came out
- 9:21Speaker 2: saying you can't harass our union members this way, all
- 9:25Speaker 2: by asking a simple question.
- 9:27Speaker 1: What did you do?
- 9:28Speaker 3: Let me ask you, Let me ask you, Ben, you've
- 9:30Speaker 3: worked in a white house in comms, is this a
- 9:33Speaker 3: strange question to get?
- 9:34Speaker 1: What did you accomplish last week?
- 9:36Speaker 2: No? And especially when you work, for example, on campaigns,
- 9:40Speaker 2: you know there's accountability every ten, twelve, fifteen, twenty four hours.
- 9:43Speaker 1: What did you do to respond to this? What are
- 9:45Speaker 1: you doing this?
- 9:46Speaker 2: Here's the next project? What have you done with this?
- 9:48Speaker 2: Like that is a very normal way of doing things.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And I can tell you whether it was on the
- 9:54Speaker 2: campaign or we were working on Social Security reform, you
- 9:57Speaker 2: had deadlines and you had meetings every day, and if
- 10:00Speaker 2: you came in unprepared, it could cost your job, no
- 10:03Speaker 2: doubt about it.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Look, it's the basic idea of having deliverables. But there's
- 10:09Speaker 3: a very strange dynamic in Washington right now. The average
- 10:14Speaker 3: federal office building, up until a few weeks ago, was empty.
- 10:20Speaker 3: The attendance is five to eight percent. More than ninety
- 10:26Speaker 3: percent of federal workers are not going to the office now.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Now that is bizarre. Look, I get in the height
- 10:33Speaker 3: of COVID, there was a period where everyone stayed home.
- 10:36Speaker 3: But you know what happened. The rest of the world
- 10:37Speaker 3: went back to work. Like everyone's gone back to work.
- 10:40Speaker 3: And in the private sector, I don't know a place
- 10:43Speaker 3: where people don't go into the office anymore except the
- 10:46Speaker 3: federal government. And I got to say to Democrats this
- 10:49Speaker 3: is treated as an entitlement that they are owed this,
- 10:54Speaker 3: and to see people freaking out, well, if we have
- 10:57Speaker 3: to go to work, that makes it very hard to
- 10:59Speaker 3: figure out child care. Well, guess what that that's called work? Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 3: it is hard to figure out childcare. I mean every parent,
- 11:07Speaker 3: that's real. Look, every parent who has a job has
- 11:10Speaker 3: to figure out childcare. Why do federal employees get to
- 11:14Speaker 3: stay at home in their pajamas and bunny slippers when
- 11:17Speaker 3: everyone else has to.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Go to work?
- 11:19Speaker 3: And and and it. I think these two are intertwined.
- 11:23Speaker 3: That this this expectation. I am entitled to a federal
- 11:27Speaker 3: paycheck for the rest of my life. I don't have
- 11:30Speaker 3: to produce anything, I don't have to ever go to
- 11:33Speaker 3: the office. And I can do my job simply by
- 11:38Speaker 3: diverting funds to radical left wing groups. All of this
- 11:42Speaker 3: is intertwined. It is the politicization of government. It is
- 11:49Speaker 3: the lack of respect for the taxpayers, the lack of respect. Look,
- 11:54Speaker 3: this is intertwined. We've talked about this as well with
- 11:57Speaker 3: how Joe Biden behaved the last three months of his
- 12:00Speaker 3: presidency after the election. I have never in my life
- 12:03Speaker 3: seen a president behave like Joe Biden did, because he
- 12:07Speaker 3: behaved with absolute contempt. He spent three months trying to
- 12:11Speaker 3: do everything he could to stop Donald Trump from delivering
- 12:14Speaker 3: on the promises that he made to the American people
- 12:17Speaker 3: that the voters said overwhelmingly we want. Most presidents when
- 12:21Speaker 3: they leave, when they lose, they're like, okay, fine, all right,
- 12:23Speaker 3: the next guys are coming in. We're going to transition over.
- 12:26Speaker 3: The voters have spoken. You know, I may not like
- 12:28Speaker 3: what the voters say. I was on the other side,
- 12:30Speaker 3: you know, if you if your side loses. But the
- 12:33Speaker 3: absolute arrogance, the lack of regard for the voters and
- 12:41Speaker 3: the taxpayers, it is also intertwined. Name a Democrat, an
- 12:46Speaker 3: elected Democrat who has said once, thank god doj just
- 12:51Speaker 3: pointing out all of this waste, fraud and abuse. Thank
- 12:54Speaker 3: god we have stopped sending millions of dollars for transgender
- 12:58Speaker 3: surgeries in Guatemala. I haven't heard a single Democrat, not
- 13:01Speaker 3: one of them. And it's because they don't think they
- 13:05Speaker 3: owe anything to the taxpayers or the voters. For them,
- 13:10Speaker 3: it's about power. It's not about honoring the commitment you
- 13:13Speaker 3: made to the men and women who elected you.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know.
- 13:16Speaker 2: The other part about this is there was a lot
- 13:18Speaker 2: of people that were trying to spend this email as
- 13:21Speaker 2: like this was a national security risk because it went
- 13:24Speaker 2: out to all employees and there was guidance that came
- 13:27Speaker 2: back very quickly from certain departments going hey, like, you
- 13:30Speaker 2: can't necessarily say what you did this week, so hold
- 13:33Speaker 2: on before you respond back. And yet the media tried
- 13:37Speaker 2: to spin this into oh my gosh, all these rules
- 13:39Speaker 2: were about to be broken, and you were putting people's
- 13:41Speaker 2: lives at risk, Elon must by sending out this email.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I think it's important that we clarify. Look, there were
- 13:47Speaker 2: some positions that it was totally fine to say, hold on,
- 13:50Speaker 2: we can't do this.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, look, of course, and so there were natural places
- 14:00Speaker 3: where employees were told don't respond to this email. For example,
- 14:05Speaker 3: cash Betel told FBI agents, don't respond to this email.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Un run through your management to respond to this email.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Why because when you're dealing with classified and confidential law enforcement,
- 14:18Speaker 3: there are national security and intelligence operations where you can't
- 14:23Speaker 3: have this kind of report going and going through non
- 14:26Speaker 3: classified channels. So of course that's the case. But if
- 14:30Speaker 3: you're a run of the mill employee in the FED
- 14:32Speaker 3: federal agency, those constraints are not there, and those employees
- 14:37Speaker 3: are are obligated to respond, no.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Doubt about it. Also, let's talk a little bit about
- 14:43Speaker 2: c pack. You at a meeting with Elon Musk right
- 14:46Speaker 2: after he was given this chainsaw. You even got a
- 14:49Speaker 2: picture I was there with the chainsaw that we tweeted out.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It was actually really fun and Elon Musk is loving
- 14:56Speaker 2: this new opportunity to make a difference in this country.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say. And in addition to the five
- 15:02Speaker 3: things that I tweeted that I accomplished last week, I
- 15:05Speaker 3: did did follow up with one more tweet and said,
- 15:08Speaker 3: oh yeah, and six, I got to hold a really
- 15:10Speaker 3: badass chip chainsaw. And and and this is okay, you
- 15:15Speaker 3: got to understand. So Javier Malay, the President of Argentina,
- 15:19Speaker 3: showed up with a gold and silver chainsaw for Elon Musk.
- 15:24Speaker 3: And this is not a run of the mill chainsaw.
- 15:27Speaker 3: This is a gold plated chainsaw. It had Elon Musk's
- 15:30Speaker 3: musk on it. It had Viva la Libertad on the blade.
- 15:34Speaker 3: The blade was long, it was it was a massive chainsaw.
- 15:38Speaker 3: It had uh, brass spikes coming coming out of the
- 15:44Speaker 3: main body of the chainsaw, like something out of Mad
- 15:47Speaker 3: Maxim Thunderdome. And and and and the pull cord where
- 15:51Speaker 3: you started was a set of brass knuckles.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I mean, it was just that was just so cool.
- 15:57Speaker 3: It was seriously bad ass and and and and it was,
- 16:01Speaker 3: I told Elon. So you and I spent the afternoon
- 16:04Speaker 3: at Seapack last week and we did Friday's podcast. We
- 16:08Speaker 3: did from Seapac on Thursday, and we interviewed Pambondy. We
- 16:13Speaker 3: interviewed Pambondy live on the stage. We've done done Verdict
- 16:16Speaker 3: live on the stage of Seapac several times. Let me
- 16:19Speaker 3: encourage folks, by the way, if you didn't listen to
- 16:21Speaker 3: Friday's podcast interviewing Pam Bondy, it was one of the
- 16:25Speaker 3: very first major interviews of the new Attorney General that
- 16:28Speaker 3: has happened. Pam and I have been friend friends a
- 16:31Speaker 3: long time, and so we had a really good and
- 16:33Speaker 3: candid conversation about what she's doing, what she's accomplishing, what
- 16:37Speaker 3: her objectives are. So if you didn't listen to Friday's podcast,
- 16:40Speaker 3: go back and listen to it, because it was an
- 16:42Speaker 3: interview that I think was really worthwhile. But afterwards, you
- 16:47Speaker 3: and I hung out. Afterwards, I spent about twenty minutes
- 16:50Speaker 3: with Elon and Javier and Malay delivered this chainsaw to Elon.
- 16:55Speaker 3: By the way, Malay brought it up on stage while
- 16:59Speaker 3: you and I were doing the podcast. I gotta say
- 17:01Speaker 3: my security guys were freaked out. They're like, a guy
- 17:05Speaker 3: is running on stage with a chainsaw, and and never
- 17:08Speaker 3: mind that it was ahead of state running on stage
- 17:11Speaker 3: with a chainsaw. That that's just a little surreal, Like
- 17:14Speaker 3: you have guys that whose job it is to keep
- 17:16Speaker 3: you safe. It is despite the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre,
- 17:21Speaker 3: we rarely deal with people running at us with chainsaws.
- 17:24Speaker 3: And yet yet that happened at Seapack, and yet somehow
- 17:27Speaker 3: it was okay, Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It really was.
- 17:29Speaker 2: There was also another bad A moment, since we're talking
- 17:32Speaker 2: about bad A moments at the White House, that happened
- 17:35Speaker 2: while we were.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Come on, Benjamin and Benjamin, if you're gonna do it,
- 17:38Speaker 3: to do.
- 17:39Speaker 1: There is a badass moment there we go.
- 17:41Speaker 3: There was a bad right, I'm trying to rest I'm
- 17:45Speaker 3: trying to rescue your dignity because because a bad A
- 17:49Speaker 3: moment is just a weeny way of putting this.
- 17:51Speaker 1: All right, well go with bad house.
- 17:52Speaker 2: There's a badass moment the White House where the President
- 17:56Speaker 2: straight up called out a governor who was in attendance
- 18:01Speaker 2: for the governors that a bunch of governors come to
- 18:02Speaker 2: the White House.
- 18:03Speaker 1: They had their big governors at meeting.
- 18:05Speaker 2: They invited these governors come to the White House, and
- 18:07Speaker 2: the President just straight out called out or the governors
- 18:11Speaker 2: for the plan that had leaked in essence that he
- 18:14Speaker 2: was going to defy the directive from the federal government
- 18:19Speaker 2: about protecting women from men playing in their sports transgendered
- 18:24Speaker 2: you know, individuals claiming that their chick and the President
- 18:27Speaker 2: just said like, I don't.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Care, you're here, Glad you're here. Are you going to
- 18:31Speaker 1: not go along with what I told you do?
- 18:33Speaker 2: And it was one of those flashpoint moments, just showing you.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I think the difference is time and the mentality of
- 18:38Speaker 2: this president.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's exactly right. Trump is not backing down.
- 18:42Speaker 3: And I got to say the Democrats that seems they've
- 18:44Speaker 3: learned nothing from the election. Here, give a listen to
- 18:47Speaker 3: the exchange betwtween the governor of Maine and President Trump.
- 18:50Speaker 4: The NCAA has complied immediately, by the way, that's good,
- 18:54Speaker 4: But I understand Maine is the main here, the governor
- 18:58Speaker 4: of Main are you not going to comply with it? Well,
- 19:05Speaker 4: we are the federal law. Well you better do it.
- 19:08Speaker 4: You better do it because you're not going to get
- 19:09Speaker 4: any federal funding at all if you don't. And by
- 19:11Speaker 4: the way, your population, even though it's somewhat liberal orlough,
- 19:14Speaker 4: I did very well there. Your population doesn't want men
- 19:18Speaker 4: playing in women's sports, so you better you better comply
- 19:21Speaker 4: because otherwise you're not getting any federal funding. Every state. Good.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I'll see you in court. I look forward to that.
- 19:28Speaker 4: That should be a really easy one. And enjoy your
- 19:32Speaker 4: life after governor, because I don't think you'll be an
- 19:34Speaker 4: elected politics.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I mean, the trush talking.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I just got to say, looking at the female governor,
- 19:40Speaker 2: maintained like, hey, the people there want this too. You
- 19:43Speaker 2: should listen to people. I'll see you in court, all right, great,
- 19:46Speaker 2: look forward to it. I don't think you're in me
- 19:48Speaker 2: in politics much longer either, if you keep this up.
- 19:51Speaker 2: This is just a different Donald Trump this time around.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Well it is, and by the way, there's also real
- 19:59Speaker 3: teeth to it. So simultaneously with this exchange, the US
- 20:03Speaker 3: Department of Agriculture announced that it had initiated a compliance
- 20:06Speaker 3: review of the University of Maine, and the state could
- 20:10Speaker 3: be in jeopardy of losing one hundred million dollars in
- 20:13Speaker 3: federal USDA funding over non compliance with the Executive order
- 20:17Speaker 3: on keeping males out of female sports. And at the
- 20:21Speaker 3: end of the day, and and and by the way,
- 20:23Speaker 3: this is not hypothetical that this is happening in in Maine.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Uh in Maine, that there was a transgender boy who
- 20:33Speaker 3: identifies as a girl who took first place in the
- 20:37Speaker 3: girls pole vaulting at Maine's Class B state championship. And
- 20:42Speaker 3: and it's a win that helped helped the high school
- 20:44Speaker 3: take first place overall. And and and so you know,
- 20:48Speaker 3: how would you feel if it if it's your daughter
- 20:51Speaker 3: who's in second, and she's the best pole vaulter in
- 20:55Speaker 3: her in the state, who's a girl, but there's a
- 20:59Speaker 3: dude who says, no, I'm a girl who beats her
- 21:02Speaker 3: and dominates. It's just fundamentally unfair. And I got to
- 21:06Speaker 3: say overwhelmingly eighty to ninety percent of Americans agree with
- 21:11Speaker 3: that proposition. And what's striking is this is not Democrats
- 21:17Speaker 3: fighting on some issue where where the voters are with them.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I promise you, even in Maine, the voters don't want this.
- 21:25Speaker 3: They're not happy about this. And today's Democrat party this election.
- 21:32Speaker 3: If there is an elected Democrat who learned anything from
- 21:36Speaker 3: this election, I don't know who it is, because not
- 21:39Speaker 3: only are they this has.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Become like the new Littus Test though of the extreme
- 21:43Speaker 2: left right.
- 21:44Speaker 3: They're also doubling down in open borders. They're also doubling
- 21:47Speaker 3: down on anti Israel. Look that the Democrats in the
- 21:50Speaker 3: Senate voted against sanctioning the ICC, the International Criminal Court,
- 21:55Speaker 3: which has gone after Benjamin et Yahu in Israel. Every
- 21:58Speaker 3: Democrat but one Democrat but John Fetterman, voted against Israel.
- 22:03Speaker 3: And they did that after the election. They did that
- 22:04Speaker 3: just a few weeks ago. I mean, that's where the
- 22:07Speaker 3: Democrats are right now, is they're still open border, they're
- 22:11Speaker 3: still anti Israel, They're still pro boys and girls sports.
- 22:15Speaker 3: And it's look, look, this is the same issue we
- 22:18Speaker 3: started with fundamentally. I think, you know, the Democrats love
- 22:23Speaker 3: to prattle on about democracy, but when they prattle on
- 22:26Speaker 3: about what democracy, what they really mean is they want power,
- 22:32Speaker 3: and they don't care what the voters want. They don't
- 22:35Speaker 3: care about respecting the will of the voters. Instead, they
- 22:39Speaker 3: want to fight against the will of the voters. It's
- 22:42Speaker 3: why they indicted Trump not once, not twice, not three times,
- 22:45Speaker 3: but four times. It was designed to stop democracy It's
- 22:49Speaker 3: why you had multiple Democrats, judges, and state officials trying
- 22:55Speaker 3: to remove Donald Trump from the presidential ballot because nothing
- 22:58Speaker 3: says defending democracy like stopping the damn voters for voting
- 23:02Speaker 3: for your opponent and making it impossible. This is all intertwined,
- 23:06Speaker 3: which is it is a lack of humility, a lack
- 23:11Speaker 3: of understanding that you have a boss, and the boss
- 23:18Speaker 3: is the men and women who elected you.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a great point, and it goes back, I
- 23:24Speaker 2: think to the core issue of he's listening to the people,
- 23:29Speaker 2: as you mentioned, and he's doing what the people said
- 23:32Speaker 2: with a mandate, and that is what this election was about.
- 23:37Speaker 2: And it's also I think it's clear the reason why
- 23:40Speaker 2: he's doing things which.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Moves me to the FBI.
- 23:43Speaker 2: You got to go to the squaring end of cash
- 23:45Speaker 2: Fortell at the FBI. But it's clear that the presence
- 23:48Speaker 2: not just like checking a box at the top and
- 23:51Speaker 2: saying okay, now, business as usual. We also found out
- 23:55Speaker 2: today that he has decided to name Dan Bongino, who
- 24:00Speaker 2: many that listen to show probably listen to his show
- 24:03Speaker 2: his podcasts as well, and knowing from Fox News Channel,
- 24:06Speaker 2: former Secret Service agent, former police officer in New York City,
- 24:09Speaker 2: a very outspoken critic of the deep state. He's now
- 24:13Speaker 2: the deputy director of the FBI. I mean he is
- 24:17Speaker 2: truly draining the swamp and bringing in people that are
- 24:20Speaker 2: all about reform.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 3: On Friday, I was at Cash Betel swearing in, and
- 24:25Speaker 3: it was a terrific moment. I think Cash is going
- 24:27Speaker 3: to bring fundamental reform to the FBI, and I think
- 24:30Speaker 3: it is desperately needed.
- 24:31Speaker 1: The FBI is an institution.
- 24:34Speaker 3: It is an institution with a long and storied history,
- 24:37Speaker 3: and I don't think there is any institution in America
- 24:40Speaker 3: that has lost more respect, that has had its integrity
- 24:44Speaker 3: compromised more than the FBI has. Actually, the CDC may
- 24:47Speaker 3: be rivaling it. FAUCI may have done as much damage
- 24:50Speaker 3: to the credibility and respect of government health sciences as
- 24:57Speaker 3: James Comey and Christopher Ray did did to the FBI.
- 25:01Speaker 3: But both institutions are sorely in need of reform. I
- 25:04Speaker 3: think Cash Hotel's going to come in and do that.
- 25:06Speaker 3: And I got to say, Dan Bongino, he's a good
- 25:08Speaker 3: friend of mine, he's a good friend of yours. He
- 25:11Speaker 3: is a strong conservative, he is a reformer and that
- 25:13Speaker 3: combination of Cash Motel and Dan Bongino, I think.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Is going to be really.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Potent to bring the FBI back to its core mission,
- 25:25Speaker 3: and its core mission is stopping bad guys. It's stopping
- 25:28Speaker 3: violent crime. It's catching the very worst criminals. It's stopping terrorism.
- 25:32Speaker 3: It's putting terrorists in jail. It's keeping America safe. It's
- 25:36Speaker 3: not being a politically woke enforcer for left wing ideology,
- 25:43Speaker 3: or for that matter, for right wing ideology. I don't
- 25:45Speaker 3: expect the FBI to suddenly be a right wing inforce.
- 25:49Speaker 3: So I want the FBI to lock up murderers. And
- 25:51Speaker 3: to be clear, I want him to lock up murderers
- 25:54Speaker 3: whether they're Republicans or Democrats. I don't care if you're
- 25:57Speaker 3: killing people, if you're raping women, if you're hurting kids,
- 26:00Speaker 3: if you're human trafficking, if you're drug trafficking, if you're
- 26:03Speaker 3: a terrorist, I want the FBI to go after you
- 26:07Speaker 3: and lock you up. And that's what their core more
- 26:10Speaker 3: mission is. And I'm very confident that Cash Mattel and
- 26:13Speaker 3: Dan Bongina, with Pam Bondy as Attorney General, that they're
- 26:17Speaker 3: going to bring the FBI right back to that.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Let's give a quick update about where we are with
- 26:21Speaker 2: all these cabinet positions. You guessed that you thought all
- 26:25Speaker 2: the big ones were going to get through so far
- 26:28Speaker 2: that has been exactly the case. And look, they didn't
- 26:31Speaker 2: want Pam, they didn't want Patel, they didn't want several
- 26:35Speaker 2: of these others. They went after Christy Noame. We saw
- 26:37Speaker 2: a lot of them at SEAPAC this weekend. The big,
- 26:41Speaker 2: big positions are getting filled with the people that Donald
- 26:45Speaker 2: Trump promise the American voter. How encouraged are you by
- 26:50Speaker 2: I would also say the Republicans that are in Congress
- 26:53Speaker 2: right now seeming to stick together pretty well.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Look, I think the Republicans in the Senate and the
- 26:59Speaker 3: Republicans and the House are aware that that that we've
- 27:02Speaker 3: got an historic mandate from the election in November, and
- 27:06Speaker 3: we've got an obligation to deliver on our promises. We
- 27:08Speaker 3: can't screw around. Failure is not an option. And I
- 27:11Speaker 3: do think that is something in both the House and
- 27:15Speaker 3: Senate that that that that Republicans get. I'll tell you
- 27:19Speaker 3: when it comes to confirmations, we we are moving at
- 27:23Speaker 3: the fastest pace in twenty five years. We're moving at
- 27:26Speaker 3: a much faster pace than than cabinet nominees were confirmed
- 27:29Speaker 3: under Biden or in the first Trump term. I predicted
- 27:33Speaker 3: on this podcast that that that all of President Trump's
- 27:36Speaker 3: cabinet nominees would be confirmed. And that's been the path,
- 27:39Speaker 3: that's that's been the ones they went after. They went
- 27:41Speaker 3: after Pete Hegseth. Hegseth was confirmed. They went after Toolsei
- 27:44Speaker 3: Gabbard Tulci was confirmed. They went after Bobby Kennedy Bobby
- 27:47Speaker 3: was confirmed. Uh, and and so other than Matt Gates
- 27:51Speaker 3: who withdrew very early and and and Gates would have
- 27:53Speaker 3: faced a very rocky path. But other than that, once
- 27:59Speaker 3: once once Gates withdrew, and I made the prediction after
- 28:02Speaker 3: Gates withdrew, that's exactly what happened, which is every cabint
- 28:06Speaker 3: nominee has been confirmed.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's incredible.
- 28:10Speaker 2: What do we have on the horizon when it comes
- 28:12Speaker 2: to what's next when it comes to confirmations.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Well, next week the confirmations that are coming up, we're
- 28:18Speaker 3: going to do the Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll uh.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And then we'll be voting on Jamison Greer to be
- 28:23Speaker 3: the United States Trade Representative. Both of those are expected
- 28:26Speaker 3: next week, and then we're going to go after some
- 28:29Speaker 3: of Biden's failed energy policies in the Senate. We're going
- 28:33Speaker 3: to go after rules and regulations that drive up the
- 28:36Speaker 3: cost of energy and make it harder to to heat
- 28:39Speaker 3: your home, harder to to that that drive inflation and
- 28:44Speaker 3: so that So that's going to be the priority in
- 28:46Speaker 3: the Senate this coming week.
