- 0:01Speaker 1: Now I'd like to see that, and it's a ridiculous
- 0:03Speaker 1: war would have never started if I were president, that
- 0:06Speaker 1: war would have never started. Putin would not have started
- 0:09Speaker 1: that war if I were president. And by the way,
- 0:11Speaker 1: you wouldn't have had October seventh if I was president either,
- 0:14Speaker 1: that miss would not have started.
- 0:16Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning to you, Ben Ferguson with you, and
- 0:23Speaker 3: these are some of the stories that you may have
- 0:26Speaker 3: missed that we talked about this week on the forty
- 0:28Speaker 3: seven Morning Update. First up, Donald Trump goes to war
- 0:32Speaker 3: with us AID, saying it turned out to be a
- 0:35Speaker 3: radical left lunatic filled organization wasting taxpayer dollars. It has
- 0:41Speaker 3: now been in essence shut down and the lunatics have
- 0:44Speaker 3: been not allowed back in the building. I'll have the
- 0:48Speaker 3: details on that in just a moment. Up next, the
- 0:51Speaker 3: National Guard has been granted authority to make immigration arrests
- 0:56Speaker 3: in Texas. What does this mean and how is it
- 0:58Speaker 3: going to change the game and fighting illegal immigrants. We'll
- 1:01Speaker 3: have that as well. And finally, Zelenski, now, is I
- 1:05Speaker 3: guess becoming a whistleblower now? Claiming that less than half
- 1:10Speaker 3: the money that the US has sent has ever actually
- 1:13Speaker 3: showed up. It's a forty seven morning up date and
- 1:16Speaker 3: it starts right now.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:18Speaker 3: When Donald Trump was running for the presidency the second time,
- 1:22Speaker 3: he made a very clear promise the American people he
- 1:25Speaker 3: was going to go into this government and save your
- 1:28Speaker 3: tax hours from fraud, waste, and abuse. Well, apparently an
- 1:33Speaker 3: awful lot of our tax dours have been going to
- 1:36Speaker 3: all of those categories when it comes to us AID,
- 1:39Speaker 3: A program that Donald Trump actually liked when he was
- 1:42Speaker 3: president back in twenty sixteen. So what do they find
- 1:46Speaker 3: this time after it was radicalized by the Biden Harris administration.
- 1:50Speaker 4: The first trim the USA was something that you liked
- 1:53Speaker 4: in some respect.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I love the concept. Yeah that's the program. Sure, I
- 1:57Speaker 1: love the concept. But they turned out to be radical
- 1:59Speaker 1: left lunatics and the concept of it is good, but
- 2:03Speaker 1: it's all about the people.
- 2:05Speaker 3: President Donald Trump making it clear USA turned out to
- 2:08Speaker 3: be radical left lunatics. So what did he do? In response?
- 2:12Speaker 3: USAID staffers were told to stay out of the DC
- 2:16Speaker 3: headquarters after Elon Musk said that Trump agreed to shut
- 2:20Speaker 3: it down, calling it just a ball of worms. The
- 2:24Speaker 3: workers received an email Monday telling them to stay out
- 2:27Speaker 3: of the agency's DC headquarters. Now Staffords or the US
- 2:30Speaker 3: Agency for International Development were actually ordered quote it the
- 2:34Speaker 3: direction of agency leadership to work remotely except for personnel
- 2:38Speaker 3: with essential on site and building maintenance functions individually contracted
- 2:45Speaker 3: by senior leadership. This according to an agency wide email
- 2:50Speaker 3: that was sent out. Further guidance will be forthcoming, is
- 2:53Speaker 3: what the email said at the end. Now you may
- 2:56Speaker 3: ask yourself why such a massive reaction from the White House. Well,
- 3:01Speaker 3: the media, of course said this was an overreaction, and
- 3:04Speaker 3: Democrats went to USA and storm the building almost like
- 3:08Speaker 3: it was an insurrection. Well, they brought receipts at the
- 3:12Speaker 3: White House, as the White House Press secretary let the
- 3:14Speaker 3: American people know exactly why they decided it's time to
- 3:18Speaker 3: shut it all down.
- 3:20Speaker 4: And here's the reason why Elon Musk and others have
- 3:22Speaker 4: been taking a look, because if you look at the
- 3:24Speaker 4: waste and abuse that has run through USAID over the
- 3:28Speaker 4: past several years, these are some of the insane priorities
- 3:31Speaker 4: that that organization has been spending money on one point
- 3:34Speaker 4: five million dollars to advance DEI in Serbia's workplaces, seventy
- 3:39Speaker 4: thousand for a production of a Dei musical in Ireland,
- 3:43Speaker 4: forty seven thousand for a transgender opera in Colombia, thirty
- 3:47Speaker 4: two thousand for a transgender comic book in Peru. I
- 3:51Speaker 4: don't know about you, but as an American taxpayer, I
- 3:53Speaker 4: don't want my dollars going towards this crap, and I
- 3:55Speaker 4: know the American people don't either. And that's exactly what
- 3:57Speaker 4: Elon Musk has been tasked by President Trump to do
- 4:00Speaker 4: to get the fraud, waste and abuse out of our
- 4:02Speaker 4: federal government.
- 4:03Speaker 3: And that, my friends, is what you call bringing the receipts.
- 4:07Speaker 3: The list of just some of the waste and abuse
- 4:11Speaker 3: at USAID that DOGE had been working on eliminating. That
- 4:16Speaker 3: list is just some highlights. They apparently are finding even
- 4:19Speaker 3: more abuse of your tax dollars being used for the
- 4:23Speaker 3: most ridiculous things. You could imagine that forty seven thousand
- 4:27Speaker 3: for a transgender opera in Colombia. No one, whether Republican
- 4:32Speaker 3: or Democrats, should be in favor of that. Thirty two
- 4:34Speaker 3: thousand for transgender comic books in Peru. None of our
- 4:38Speaker 3: money should be going to comic books. In Peru ever period,
- 4:42Speaker 3: and the one point five million to advance DEI in
- 4:45Speaker 3: Serbia's workplaces. The real question now people should be asking
- 4:50Speaker 3: is who was on the take when the money went
- 4:53Speaker 3: to these different countries. Where did the money actually end up?
- 4:57Speaker 3: Did seventy thousand actually really go production of a DEI
- 5:01Speaker 3: musical in Ireland or with someone just taking that money,
- 5:06Speaker 3: funneling that money that I have a feeling is what
- 5:09Speaker 3: Elon Musk is going to dig into next. But let
- 5:12Speaker 3: me say this, It's clear that Trump administration is not
- 5:15Speaker 3: just stopping with DEI. They're not just stopping with USAID.
- 5:20Speaker 3: They're not stopping with anywhere in the government where they
- 5:24Speaker 3: see waste and abuse and the abuse of our tax
- 5:27Speaker 3: dollars that we work so hard for being sent all
- 5:30Speaker 3: over the world.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Now, story number two.
- 5:33Speaker 3: There's nothing more exciting than getting to tell you about
- 5:35Speaker 3: major breaking news and trends that will probably expand outside
- 5:39Speaker 3: of an original story. Well, that is one of those
- 5:42Speaker 3: stories you're about to hear right now, and that is
- 5:45Speaker 3: this news. The Texas National Guard has now been granted
- 5:49Speaker 3: authority to make immigration arrests. In a memo of understanding
- 5:55Speaker 3: between the Customs and Border Protection known as the CBP
- 5:58Speaker 3: and the State of Texas. Texas will immediately grant the
- 6:02Speaker 3: Texas National Guard soldiers. The memorandum, which has not yet
- 6:06Speaker 3: been disseminated to all Texas border sectors, will allow the
- 6:10Speaker 3: soldiers were being told to perform roving patrols and exercise
- 6:15Speaker 3: all the duties of an immigration agent so long as
- 6:18Speaker 3: a US immigration officer or border patrol agent accompanies them.
- 6:24Speaker 3: What does this mean? They are going to imbed US
- 6:28Speaker 3: Customs Enforcement, immigration officers or border patrol agents within the
- 6:33Speaker 3: National Guard, and everyone with them will have the same
- 6:36Speaker 3: authority to arrest. This is going to change the entire
- 6:40Speaker 3: game at the southern border in Texas. According to the
- 6:44Speaker 3: memo of understanding, the ratio of soldiers to immigration officers
- 6:49Speaker 3: is preliminarily listed as one officer to four soldiers. The
- 6:54Speaker 3: title eight United States Code Arrest authority was granted to
- 6:58Speaker 3: multiple federal law enforcement agencies just days after President Trump's
- 7:03Speaker 3: inauguration on January the twenty third, The Department of Homeland
- 7:06Speaker 3: Security also authorized federal law enforcement agents to quote, investigate,
- 7:12Speaker 3: determine the location, of, and apprehend migrants in an illegal status.
- 7:18Speaker 3: The details of that memorandum obtained and released in a
- 7:21Speaker 3: recent news report by CBS News are similar to the
- 7:24Speaker 3: memo of understanding reviewed also now by Breitbart Texas. The
- 7:29Speaker 3: duties of the Texas National Guard soldiers are law enforcement related,
- 7:34Speaker 3: generally reserved for agents assigned to specific agencies under the
- 7:38Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security. Now, this latest granting of immigration
- 7:43Speaker 3: arrest authority, what it means for boots on the ground
- 7:47Speaker 3: is this, This is going to add at least three
- 7:51Speaker 3: thousand Texas Army National Guard soldiers to the number of ATF,
- 7:57Speaker 3: FBI and United States Reputy marshalls who are now assisting
- 8:02Speaker 3: the Department of Homeland Security and enforcing federal immigration law.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Simply put, the President clearly is finding ways and his
- 8:10Speaker 3: staff around him to allow for a maximum number of
- 8:13Speaker 3: people to go to the southern border in Texas to
- 8:16Speaker 3: get the southern border back under control. This is going
- 8:20Speaker 3: to be a game changer. I would also expect, based
- 8:24Speaker 3: on sources that I've talked to around the White House,
- 8:27Speaker 3: that you're going to see this same plan rolled out
- 8:30Speaker 3: in other border states as well. Moral of the story,
- 8:34Speaker 3: if you earn an a legal immigrant, you better watch
- 8:36Speaker 3: your back in Texas and very soon other states around
- 8:41Speaker 3: the country.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And lastly, story number three.
- 8:43Speaker 3: If you've ever studied Ukraine, you know that the country
- 8:46Speaker 3: is insanely corrupt. The leadership's corrupt, the oligarchs are corrupt,
- 8:50Speaker 3: and when you send money to Ukraine, it disappears very quickly.
- 8:54Speaker 3: It's also saying something that even people in Russia say, Yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 3: we know our country is corrupt, but you've seen nothing
- 9:02Speaker 3: until you've seen Ukraine. Well, just how bad is it? Well,
- 9:06Speaker 3: Zolensky is now claiming the Ukraine received quote less than
- 9:10Speaker 3: half of usaid and they don't know where all the
- 9:13Speaker 3: money went. Yes, Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that his
- 9:18Speaker 3: country has only received around seventy eight billion in aid
- 9:21Speaker 3: from the United States, despite America authorizing around a one
- 9:25Speaker 3: hundred and seventy five billion to quote support the war
- 9:29Speaker 3: torn country, meaning one hundred billion dollars is missing now.
- 9:34Speaker 3: In an interview with the Associated Press published Zolensky said
- 9:38Speaker 3: he doesn't know where most of the money the United
- 9:40Speaker 3: States allocated under the Biden administration the Ukraine has gone.
- 9:44Speaker 3: When I hear both in the past and even now
- 9:47Speaker 3: from the US that America has provided Ukraine with hundreds
- 9:50Speaker 3: of billions as the president of a nation at war,
- 9:53Speaker 3: I can tell you we've received no more than seventy
- 9:57Speaker 3: five billion, he said. We're talking about tangible things because
- 10:01Speaker 3: this a didn't come as cash, but rather as weapons,
- 10:05Speaker 3: which amount to about seventy billion dollars. But when it's
- 10:08Speaker 3: said that Ukraine received two hundred billion to support the
- 10:11Speaker 3: army during the war, that's not true. I don't know
- 10:15Speaker 3: where all that money went, Zelenski admitted. So they got
- 10:19Speaker 3: the money, but now it's missing. Perhaps it's true on paper,
- 10:23Speaker 3: he went on to say, with hundreds of different programs,
- 10:27Speaker 3: I won't argue, and we're immensely grateful for everything. But
- 10:31Speaker 3: in reality, we received about seventy six billion. It's significant aid,
- 10:36Speaker 3: but it's not two one hundred billion. The Ukrainian leader
- 10:40Speaker 3: suggested that perhaps the additional funds went to humanitarian programs,
- 10:44Speaker 3: which he said he was uninformed about except for knowing
- 10:48Speaker 3: of their existence. Now, the question that you're obviously asking
- 10:52Speaker 3: yourself right now is, okay, did the money even leave America,
- 10:55Speaker 3: And if it did leave America, who has it now? Well,
- 10:58Speaker 3: there have been long noted concerns in Washington over sending
- 11:02Speaker 3: billions of dollars to Ukraine. Given its corruption issues. In
- 11:06Speaker 3: twenty twenty three, Transparency International ranked Ukraine as the second
- 11:11Speaker 3: most corrupt European nation, only behind Russia, with a score
- 11:17Speaker 3: of thirty three out of one hundred. In fact, the
- 11:20Speaker 3: Oversight Committee in the US House of Representatives found that
- 11:23Speaker 3: Ukrainian government officials allegedly engaged in bribery, used government vehicles
- 11:29Speaker 3: for personal use, and purchase inflated food supplies for Ukrainian forces,
- 11:35Speaker 3: padding their own pockets. Now, despite previously downplaying the widespread
- 11:40Speaker 3: corruption in the former Soviet state, The New York Times
- 11:44Speaker 3: even reported in twenty twenty three that unnamed Ukrainian officials
- 11:48Speaker 3: admitted US taxpayer money intended for military contracts had quote
- 11:53Speaker 3: failed to produce weaponry or ammunition, and that some money
- 11:58Speaker 3: has well just vanished. Borrow the story. It's probably time
- 12:02Speaker 3: for Elon Musk and his team to take a look
- 12:05Speaker 3: at Ukraine.
