Joshua BoydWhat does it mean practically to fear the Lord? Jesus said “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15) There’s the definition of loving God. You cannot love God and consistently disobey or ignore His commands. When we refuse to obey, we become an enemy of God. James 4:4 says that if we are friends with the world what they do, we become the enemy of God. God won’t force us to obey, we have a choice in the matter.
