- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like amazing things, and it's not doing me good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to mother, start joy. You gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: then turn the water the water, y'all. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby. Uh huh, I sure will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 2:19Speaker 1: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So I had to let you see how I let
- 2:30Speaker 1: that one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you
- 2:37Speaker 1: realize without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just
- 2:45Speaker 1: complain about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't know why they're still letting that lady work there. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: If they don't fire this woman, man, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. She driving me, She always got
- 3:03Speaker 1: something to say. I bet to day though, the way
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'm feeling right now, I bet she'd been not saying
- 3:11Speaker 1: nothing to me today. M yeah, yeah, because day it
- 3:17Speaker 1: today it I'm sick of her running her mouth. Last
- 3:22Speaker 1: time she says something to me, I should have said
- 3:25Speaker 1: something to it. You know what I'm saying. I'm just
- 3:27Speaker 1: giving you a small example of how it starts to
- 3:31Speaker 1: snowball once you start to complain. It's it just carries
- 3:38Speaker 1: over into so many things. Man, Stop complaining about your car,
- 3:42Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your bus pass, Stop complaining about your
- 3:46Speaker 1: kids can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining about
- 3:49Speaker 1: your man can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have you noticed
- 4:00Speaker 1: that in all of your complaining, it has provided not
- 4:05Speaker 1: one solution? The reason I'm telling you to stop complaining
- 4:11Speaker 1: because God is able, Because God is capable. He is
- 4:19Speaker 1: capable and able of fixing anything, capable and able of
- 4:25Speaker 1: curing anything, capable and able of allowing you to get
- 4:32Speaker 1: too adjusting to things, and capable and able to strengthen
- 4:40Speaker 1: you to get through and change anything. But the key
- 4:47Speaker 1: here is God is capable, and God is able. A
- 4:51Speaker 1: lot of times I find myself complaining because I have
- 4:56Speaker 1: not used my greatest asset and my relationship with God.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You all have one now, you may not have nurtured it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But you have one because God created you as you
- 5:07Speaker 1: as his child. He's available to you now. The fact
- 5:10Speaker 1: that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again, who
- 5:14Speaker 1: fathers that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your relationship with
- 5:21Speaker 1: God and formulate this relationship. You don't have enough weapons.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You ain't got a big enough shield to fight this
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man, And unless
- 5:37Speaker 1: you develop a relationship with God, you need a partner
- 5:40Speaker 1: in all of this. Maybe you got another route you're
- 5:43Speaker 1: gonna take. But every successful person I know personally has
- 5:52Speaker 1: a relationship with God. I have some really really some
- 5:59Speaker 1: people that's kind of up there in the success term
- 6:02Speaker 1: in terms of business and money and statue. I'm just
- 6:06Speaker 1: talking about that portion of success. And then I have
- 6:09Speaker 1: a lot of people who are very successful in their
- 6:13Speaker 1: spiritual life, who have become great men of God and
- 6:17Speaker 1: women of God. But look at all of them, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: all of them have substantial amounts of you know, possessions
- 6:27Speaker 1: and things like that. Also, most successful people I know
- 6:32Speaker 1: have that even if you saw them never with a
- 6:35Speaker 1: big lot of house and a lot of money or
- 6:38Speaker 1: stuff like that, they had so much respect, so much love,
- 6:44Speaker 1: so much power. Was given them from people that their
- 6:49Speaker 1: life was rich in that area, you know, like a
- 6:54Speaker 1: man Nu the King or something like that, or Gandhi
- 6:57Speaker 1: or somebody who lived their life in service or Nelson
- 7:00Speaker 1: Mandela who came out and just man, people put stuff
- 7:04Speaker 1: at their feet because of their service. So all successful
- 7:07Speaker 1: people I know have that, Every last one of these
- 7:09Speaker 1: people that I know, they have relationship with God. They
- 7:14Speaker 1: used the tool that was available to them to give
- 7:18Speaker 1: them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings, the
- 7:22Speaker 1: shield to fight this thing called life and have the
- 7:25Speaker 1: most valuable partner right there by their side. They heavily
- 7:29Speaker 1: father God because he will help you get through this
- 7:31Speaker 1: thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time. It's
- 7:34Speaker 1: not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a favor
- 7:38Speaker 1: and strengthen your relationship with God? Man, why can I
- 7:41Speaker 1: never get over? Well you have not because you ask not. Man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: how come I always got problems? Well, you keep trying
- 7:47Speaker 1: to solve them yourself and taking them to your friends.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You keep trying to do them with your own thought process.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Who are you? I keep telling you, man, you're going
- 7:56Speaker 1: through stuff you ain't got no business going through. And
- 8:01Speaker 1: if it's you going through something over and over and
- 8:03Speaker 1: over and over, and the same problem keep coming back
- 8:06Speaker 1: to bite you again. All that's saying is you still
- 8:10Speaker 1: ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship. He's
- 8:14Speaker 1: not gonna make you have one with him. He is
- 8:16Speaker 1: a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life when
- 8:20Speaker 1: you invite him in. But for those who do invite
- 8:25Speaker 1: him men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 8:28Speaker 1: to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it without him.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Trust me, you can. How far you get. I can't
- 8:37Speaker 1: promise you nothing, how well you handle it when you
- 8:40Speaker 1: arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how long you're
- 8:44Speaker 1: gonna stay there. I can't promise you nothing. How difficult
- 8:49Speaker 1: it's going to be without him. I can't give you that.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's going to be far more difficult. But you can.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Something can happen, and you know, receive a measure of success,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and you think, is you and this move you made,
- 9:02Speaker 1: And you can describe it as I got lucky. I
- 9:04Speaker 1: happened to be in the right place at the right time.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I got lucky. Lucky is usually how other people describe
- 9:12Speaker 1: other people's success. Poor he was lucky. He was right there. Well,
- 9:16Speaker 1: let me tell you what luck is. Luck is when
- 9:17Speaker 1: hard work bumps up into opportunity. If you've been working
- 9:22Speaker 1: hard at something, an opportunity presents itself that comes a match.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's not luck. But now, if you haven't done that
- 9:30Speaker 1: on a repetitive enough basis, that opportunity could present itself
- 9:34Speaker 1: one time. You got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on,
- 9:39Speaker 1: listen to me. Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single
- 9:42Speaker 1: thing in your life. And if you're a chronic complainer,
- 9:45Speaker 1: it's because you really really have not fixed your relationship
- 9:49Speaker 1: with God. He'll smove it out for you. That I
- 9:51Speaker 1: can tell you for a fact. I know that for
- 9:53Speaker 1: a fact he's moved mine out. All right, let's go,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Can I have your attention please? And
- 10:06Speaker 1: the reason I'm asking for it is because when I
- 10:08Speaker 1: get it, I'm gonna do something with it. Now now
- 10:12Speaker 1: that I have your attention, here we go. You're about
- 10:16Speaker 1: to be enlightened, a little bit frightened, educated, but then
- 10:23Speaker 1: sometimes a little miseducated. You're gonna be entertained, while at
- 10:28Speaker 1: the same time start the process of being interchanged. Then
- 10:34Speaker 1: we're gonna stimulate but we're not gonna try to annihilate.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And in other words, when you summon all this up,
- 10:42Speaker 1: in the words of one of my dear, dear friends,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show is about to tad a
- 10:48Speaker 1: mouth file. And the word is mouth m ou fl mouth.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's how we say it, That's how we spell it.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Welcome to the show, surely, straw band. That is what
- 11:02Speaker 1: we do. Steve Harvey, Good morning for real, Good morning.
- 11:08Speaker 1: What's happening crew? Hey, hey, hey hey Junior morning unc
- 11:12Speaker 1: you latchet mouse ever nephew Tommy, have your mouth out,
- 11:21Speaker 1: just take it? Yeah, hung and all gums, all that
- 11:27Speaker 1: thing in there. You have gental work like a fool
- 11:31Speaker 1: that out. Got some more money. Feeling you're gonna need
- 11:35Speaker 1: some more work. Yeah? Yeah, you look good today, Steve.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You're feeling all right there? Yeah yeah, you don't feel
- 11:44Speaker 1: pretty good man. I've changed my attitude and I feel
- 11:49Speaker 1: really great. I've taken everything, everything that I used to
- 11:53Speaker 1: have to do, I've turned it around and said I
- 11:56Speaker 1: get to do it. Has made a world of difference.
- 11:58Speaker 1: My days are going much smoother. I've implemented the thought
- 12:02Speaker 1: process of gratitude and everything I do and I'm just
- 12:06Speaker 1: watching God to see what he got from me next,
- 12:08Speaker 1: because He's always taken care of me, and I lived
- 12:11Speaker 1: my life in the expectation that there's some greater things
- 12:14Speaker 1: on the horizon, and I'm just watchful. Come on, man,
- 12:18Speaker 1: watch thank you George. Yeah. Now, what I always try
- 12:23Speaker 1: to make sure I do now is I try to
- 12:25Speaker 1: give something for God to put his finger on. You know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: God can touch it for you. I just try to
- 12:32Speaker 1: give him something to touch, you know, I put it.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I got a lot of balls in there. You know
- 12:39Speaker 1: for sure he can take any one of them balls
- 12:42Speaker 1: he wants to and just blow it up. That's right
- 12:46Speaker 1: to do that. But now he did. He did this,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and turns out it's better. Surely. I can't really tell
- 12:53Speaker 1: you how many times what I wanted and what he
- 12:56Speaker 1: gave me was two different things. Absolutely, how I wanted
- 13:00Speaker 1: and how he gave it to me it was different,
- 13:03Speaker 1: and it was way better than what I want. Way,
- 13:07Speaker 1: because his thoughts are not our thoughts. Man, such a
- 13:11Speaker 1: blessed man to come to the realization of how this
- 13:14Speaker 1: actually works. Man, I wish I could teach people how
- 13:17Speaker 1: it works without sounding preaching, because I'm not really qualified
- 13:21Speaker 1: to do that, but I wish I could share with
- 13:24Speaker 1: people how how it works. Man, let's do it for
- 13:27Speaker 1: you can do that all the time. Yeah, all right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: well you can teach here. Well I'm gonna try it
- 13:34Speaker 1: in my closing remarks, all right, and you could do
- 13:37Speaker 1: it in the clo that's coming up next to Ask
- 13:39Speaker 1: the Cello at thirty two minutes after the hour. Right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show all right, time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: for ask the Clo. This one clo is from Jolie
- 13:52Speaker 1: in Lexington, Kentucky. Jolie writes, I'm in my early fifties
- 13:56Speaker 1: and I'm married to a woman that has gotten super
- 13:58Speaker 1: holy since the pandemic started. If she's not a church,
- 14:02Speaker 1: she's watching it on TV. This is billed over to
- 14:05Speaker 1: our sex life, and she says freaky sex is out
- 14:08Speaker 1: because sex is only for pro creation. I want to
- 14:12Speaker 1: put her. I want to I want her. I want
- 14:16Speaker 1: to put her in all the positions she used to
- 14:18Speaker 1: love because she won't but she won't allow herself to
- 14:21Speaker 1: get into it. How can I get her Bible off
- 14:24Speaker 1: the nightstand and get her into this pretzel position like
- 14:27Speaker 1: the dog? I can't, really, I can't. Richie, guide you
- 14:34Speaker 1: on this room right here, because you asking me to
- 14:36Speaker 1: get the Bible off, nice thing in and get her
- 14:39Speaker 1: foot back over there up there by that lamp. And
- 14:42Speaker 1: I don't. But this is wife dost well see she tripping, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 1: CC tripping And you know you didn't got real holy
- 14:51Speaker 1: because you didn't have them. Something happened to you doing COVID.
- 14:54Speaker 1: But sex is for pre creation, but sex is a
- 14:58Speaker 1: lot of it's for pleasure. See, I'm not having no
- 15:02Speaker 1: more kids to stop. So I don't know what you're
- 15:08Speaker 1: asking me to do. But I'm in here clunding to
- 15:11Speaker 1: the best of my ability. I'm I'm showing out when
- 15:14Speaker 1: I can't you know what I'm saying, you know, So
- 15:17Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you to sell bro.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I know she gonna have to do something though, because
- 15:22Speaker 1: what you can't do. You know, it's changed on this
- 15:25Speaker 1: man and have him sitting up in here now you
- 15:28Speaker 1: didn't cut him off. I don't know what you think
- 15:29Speaker 1: he gonna do. But if he if he don't go
- 15:32Speaker 1: down there and get the same same I don't know, converging,
- 15:39Speaker 1: he don't get that, he gonna go somewhere else later,
- 15:43Speaker 1: everybody on this shop, then we're COVID. Everybody been clumbed,
- 15:51Speaker 1: everybody speaker. I don't know why you try to drag
- 15:55Speaker 1: these ladies into just stayed over here with me, guys Montavius.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Montavius and say that again in Baton Rouge says, I
- 16:07Speaker 1: got my EMT certification and I need to move to
- 16:10Speaker 1: a bigger city to get a job. My girlfriend just
- 16:14Speaker 1: had a baby, girl, and she doesn't want to leave
- 16:16Speaker 1: our hometown because she needs her mom's help with the baby.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to prepare a good future for my family,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but she's tripping about me leaving. If I stay in town,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I could continue to manage the restaurant where I work,
- 16:29Speaker 1: but that's not my dream. Do I make the sacrifice
- 16:32Speaker 1: for my girlfriend and stay, or do I make the
- 16:34Speaker 1: bigger sacrifice for my family and go. Well, you could
- 16:39Speaker 1: go ahead and get it all set up, and then
- 16:42Speaker 1: when she get a little bit better handle on the baby,
- 16:45Speaker 1: bring the family to you, and then you on weekends,
- 16:49Speaker 1: of course, drive back. I don't know how far the
- 16:52Speaker 1: city is that you got to move to, because he's
- 16:54Speaker 1: in I don't know what city he is. He's in
- 16:58Speaker 1: Baton Rouge. You got some a lot about your luge
- 17:01Speaker 1: Baton Rouge, great city. You gotta go to New Orleans
- 17:05Speaker 1: or you're gonna have them or Houston. Not how far
- 17:08Speaker 1: is Houston from Baton Rouge. Yeah, so you can go
- 17:11Speaker 1: on up there and just drive back on the weekends
- 17:15Speaker 1: if you ain't gonna call, or you can go to
- 17:18Speaker 1: Loui Louisiana. I mean, I mean little New Orleans that
- 17:22Speaker 1: they're busy. Whoa is all day? Loan down there? Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to you. They probably need you
- 17:33Speaker 1: down now. And then you know, it's kind of tough
- 17:38Speaker 1: because this man is trying to provide. Yeah, and that's
- 17:41Speaker 1: his dream to do emt He on the tie of
- 17:44Speaker 1: managing the restaurant. That's why he went. Now I know
- 17:46Speaker 1: she tripping, but y'all got to sit down and talk
- 17:49Speaker 1: about what's best for the family. You'll be able to
- 17:51Speaker 1: sit back way more money than manage it. Yeah all right,
- 17:55Speaker 1: um wow man, you know, but but girlfriend though not
- 17:59Speaker 1: wipe so yeah, exactly. Moving on Amazing in Riverdale, Georgia.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Amazing says I did a weight loss challenge with my
- 18:09Speaker 1: co workers and we took before and after pictures. It
- 18:14Speaker 1: was four ladies and four guys. We wore biker shorts
- 18:16Speaker 1: and sports bras for the before pictures, and the men
- 18:20Speaker 1: were shirtless in biker shorts. My husband was snooping through
- 18:23Speaker 1: my phone and saw the pictures of me with my coworkers.
- 18:26Speaker 1: He got upset because my male co workers saw me
- 18:29Speaker 1: and a BRA. I lost six pounds in a week
- 18:32Speaker 1: and I won the challenge. But he's ruining the whole experience.
- 18:35Speaker 1: How can I get him to understand? Dog, Dog, it
- 18:40Speaker 1: was a bra sports brawl and some spandex dog best
- 18:46Speaker 1: equivalent to a bikini less than a bikini, right, yeah?
- 18:51Speaker 1: So bro, come on, man, I mean dog, they all
- 18:54Speaker 1: did it for the challenge, So I mean, Bra, your
- 18:58Speaker 1: wife in the house, she just lost. It was for
- 19:01Speaker 1: a challenge, before and after picture sports brawl spannedex short
- 19:05Speaker 1: that was it. But Steve, but dog, shudn't she a
- 19:09Speaker 1: toll him first? Though? He shouldn't find that by just man,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I don't know why she didn't tell him. You keep
- 19:16Speaker 1: your phone unlocked, Tommy, So oh no, NBI can't get
- 19:20Speaker 1: in this phone right here, Hall, I first read this
- 19:23Speaker 1: that l and lbs for pounds. I thought it was
- 19:26Speaker 1: sixty one pounds in a week. Yeah, that's she's been
- 19:33Speaker 1: up for seven days and she ain't eight. That's she's
- 19:36Speaker 1: been running round a yard. Wait a minute, what she loves?
- 19:40Speaker 1: How many pounds? All right, all right? Reggie in New
- 19:44Speaker 1: Jersey says, I'm a forty four year old married man
- 19:46Speaker 1: and I think my wife is cheating on me. She's
- 19:48Speaker 1: been staying out late after work and her phone is off.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I retired military, and I put a tracking device on
- 19:54Speaker 1: her car so it's always at the place she said
- 19:56Speaker 1: that she's going. But um, I think she's your car
- 20:00Speaker 1: and getting in with someone else. Um. I don't want
- 20:03Speaker 1: to sound paranoid, but I am. We were home together
- 20:06Speaker 1: for months last year, and now she said she treasures
- 20:09Speaker 1: her time with her friends. Why does she need to
- 20:11Speaker 1: turn her phone off? Though? I don't know, Bro, I
- 20:16Speaker 1: don't want to start nothing because you're a man and
- 20:18Speaker 1: we have a tendency to be ignorant. But you know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: she turned her phone off, but she got the tracking
- 20:25Speaker 1: device and her cars always where you say it is.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So I don't know what to tell you, bro, because
- 20:29Speaker 1: I don't want to incite the ride or get you
- 20:31Speaker 1: all worked up about nothing. So you know, just talk
- 20:35Speaker 1: to your wife and see what's going on, you know,
- 20:38Speaker 1: but don't jump to conclusions and do nothing crazy because
- 20:40Speaker 1: I can't say nothing to get your staughtered in that direction.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Don't tell her, don't tell him. Steve coming up next,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it is the nephew would run that brank back right
- 20:50Speaker 1: after this you're listening show coming up at the top
- 20:56Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Hannah standing by with today's national
- 20:59Speaker 1: news and an entertainment news celebrity baby news from Fantasia.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That is our girl, She's a new mommy, and Quincy
- 21:08Speaker 1: Jones says Elvis was a racist. We'll talk about all
- 21:12Speaker 1: of these stories that we all ready to do that. Yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is here, would run that prank back.
- 21:24Speaker 1: What you got for us, nef yo check bounce, yo,
- 21:28Speaker 1: check bounce. Let me tell y'all used to write bad
- 21:31Speaker 1: checks at the church back in the day, way back
- 21:34Speaker 1: not at the church. Yeah, well, you know, not not intentionally,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but you know, as my aunt used to say, per se,
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know, it used to amaze me. The church would
- 21:46Speaker 1: get that check on Sunday and I don't know how
- 21:49Speaker 1: ain't cleared Monday morning. It'd be gone. The love worked
- 21:52Speaker 1: it out, just like yeah everything else. Okay, yo, check bounce.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Let's go Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a Monica system.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Monica please, who's calling? This is Brother de Sean. I'm
- 22:07Speaker 1: calling Actually I'm a member Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How
- 22:11Speaker 1: can I help you? Calling you actually about the offering? Now?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Did you? I know you paid your ties every Sunday? Okay,
- 22:19Speaker 1: Now you paid a love offering as well? Right? Yes,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I do? Okay, Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at
- 22:25Speaker 1: a check that you left us with the bank, right right,
- 22:29Speaker 1: I sure did. I wrote a check Sunday. Okay. Now
- 22:32Speaker 1: the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars? Am
- 22:36Speaker 1: I correct? Right? Right? I wrote two checks for my
- 22:38Speaker 1: ties and the love offering? Right? I wrote one for
- 22:41Speaker 1: two fifty for the love offering? Okay? Now what is
- 22:44Speaker 1: this call regarding? Why are you calling me? What I
- 22:47Speaker 1: wanted to tell you is that I hate to be
- 22:49Speaker 1: a bar of bad news, but your check that you
- 22:52Speaker 1: wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And wait a minute,
- 22:57Speaker 1: you said my check bound for two hundred dollars. Your
- 23:01Speaker 1: check bound. So what I'm doing is calling you about
- 23:04Speaker 1: recouping the two fifth as well as you know you
- 23:07Speaker 1: you cost us thirty dollars uh in bank fees. But
- 23:12Speaker 1: wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks. I wrote
- 23:14Speaker 1: a check for one hundred dollars. Did that one bounce?
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't see to it that that that one bounced.
- 23:18Speaker 1: All I know is the one that the love offering
- 23:20Speaker 1: has bounced. What did you put them in at the
- 23:22Speaker 1: same time? Because I wrote them at the same time.
- 23:24Speaker 1: They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now I didn't
- 23:27Speaker 1: put them in at the same time. I've been putting
- 23:29Speaker 1: them in for the last two or three years. The
- 23:30Speaker 1: problem is why would people write that is your name,
- 23:34Speaker 1: m brother Deshaun at Sunday I was. I don't think
- 23:38Speaker 1: it matters. And when I was there, man, the problem
- 23:40Speaker 1: is that I didn't put these checks in. And I
- 23:42Speaker 1: don't understand why y'all write these checks to the track
- 23:45Speaker 1: knowing that they're gonna bound. Because a lot of people
- 23:48Speaker 1: write that good well not check one clear? Why the
- 23:52Speaker 1: other one didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have enough money
- 23:54Speaker 1: for both of them to clear? What what did you
- 23:57Speaker 1: just say? Maybe you didn't have enough money in the
- 24:00Speaker 1: ain't for both of them to clear. I don't understand
- 24:01Speaker 1: why people write the planning money in the bank and
- 24:04Speaker 1: all my checks clear. I don't write no rubber checks. Well,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you wrote one on Sunday, and that's the problem. How
- 24:10Speaker 1: are you gonna try to give a look? You wait
- 24:12Speaker 1: a minute. I think you got me confused with somebody else.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I don't write no bad checks. You didn't wrote that
- 24:17Speaker 1: to be nice to you. I'm trying to be nice
- 24:18Speaker 1: to you. Win. Can we expect the two fifty plus
- 24:21Speaker 1: the thirty dollars? So thirty dollars? That's the bank feeds
- 24:25Speaker 1: man for the dog gonna check bouncing. My check didn't bounce.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I don't check my bank. And if my check clear,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you're gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me harassing
- 24:33Speaker 1: me about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't write no Why would you write check? What?
- 24:39Speaker 1: You want to sit up in the church and write
- 24:40Speaker 1: these big number checks when you know you ain't got
- 24:42Speaker 1: it in the bank. What did you say? I said,
- 24:45Speaker 1: why would you write these checks when the money ain't in? Now,
- 24:49Speaker 1: let me tell you that's one thing. I don't write
- 24:51Speaker 1: no bad checks. And you got a lot ners calling
- 24:55Speaker 1: me telling me my check bounce. Y'all check is the
- 24:57Speaker 1: one that has bounced and you tell you what you do.
- 25:00Speaker 1: It's my check bounce you paid them since you got
- 25:02Speaker 1: all the money, and don't call me with this again. Hello,
- 25:09Speaker 1: don't you hang up on me no more? Why don't
- 25:11Speaker 1: we gonna get this two fifty and this thirty dollars?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Somebody from the church to my I wrote a bad check?
- 25:18Speaker 1: I write you did write a bad check. I didn't
- 25:20Speaker 1: write no bad Yes, dad, Why are you calling me?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Why the treasure? Don't call me at church? The treasure
- 25:27Speaker 1: is business. I ain't never know the deacon called nobody
- 25:29Speaker 1: about no bad check. You're fully thank you you got
- 25:35Speaker 1: the money I ain't got. Who in the hell is
- 25:38Speaker 1: that in the background? Who is that a mind? Who
- 25:40Speaker 1: it is? We're both going to the same church, and
- 25:42Speaker 1: you're gonna call me to my I wrote a bad check.
- 25:45Speaker 1: You don't you call me no more? And if the
- 25:47Speaker 1: check bads, you paid? Okay? Passed to know you talking
- 25:51Speaker 1: like this? You pass to No you calling me? Can
- 25:53Speaker 1: you ask for that? Look? When are we gonna get this?
- 25:56Speaker 1: Two hundred and eighty dollars? Is what we're looking for
- 25:58Speaker 1: from you? I wrote a check for two fifty and
- 26:01Speaker 1: not get two eighty. You puts with it. You put
- 26:04Speaker 1: two fifty in there. It bounced. Thirty dollars cost us
- 26:08Speaker 1: on bake fees. That's two eighty. Where can the church
- 26:11Speaker 1: expect their money? Never not, No, two eighty. You will
- 26:15Speaker 1: never get to eighty. You're gonna make me come by
- 26:17Speaker 1: your and my check in But what did you say.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna do what You're gonna make me come by
- 26:21Speaker 1: your house and get this money, bring it own, bring
- 26:24Speaker 1: it bring you what is the address on this check? Check?
- 26:28Speaker 1: I got it off the check, bring your own. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: bet you you'll be limping back and I'm watching you.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You bet not be spending no money nowhere. You bet
- 26:36Speaker 1: not spend nothing until I get this two fifty plus
- 26:38Speaker 1: thirty whatever I want to Okay, No, you you know
- 26:42Speaker 1: where I am. And you don't call me no more
- 26:44Speaker 1: with this because my check did not bounce. I don't
- 26:47Speaker 1: see how one check went through and the other bounce.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Let me say this to you, we cannot accept you
- 26:52Speaker 1: back into the House of the Lord no more until
- 26:55Speaker 1: you are not don't you come in the sunday until
- 26:58Speaker 1: we get coming up in the sunday, and I'm gonna
- 27:01Speaker 1: make sure I find your because you the person I
- 27:04Speaker 1: want to see yours, and you know what, I'm gonna
- 27:06Speaker 1: call the pastor right now and asked him because I
- 27:09Speaker 1: don't believe my check bounce. You fully let me say
- 27:11Speaker 1: this before you called pastor. I got no, I'm gonna
- 27:14Speaker 1: called pastor. No, you should have talked with pastor before
- 27:16Speaker 1: you called me with this information. I got one more
- 27:19Speaker 1: thing I need to say. You ain't got nothing to
- 27:21Speaker 1: say to me. You don't upset me with this I
- 27:23Speaker 1: talked about I bounced a check. You should have went
- 27:25Speaker 1: to pastor before you called me with you. I tall
- 27:28Speaker 1: a pastor one I got, but I got one more
- 27:30Speaker 1: thing to say before I leave. Did you listening? What
- 27:33Speaker 1: are you about to say to me? What do you
- 27:35Speaker 1: have to say now that you're gonna pay the check?

- 30:22Speaker 1: in this. Quincy Jones has worked with almost every big
- 30:25Speaker 1: name in music, but he refused refused to work with
- 30:29Speaker 1: Elvis Presley. He shared the story with the Hollywood Reporter, saying,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I was writing for bandleader Tommy Dorsey back in the
- 30:36Speaker 1: fifties and Elvis came in and Tommy said I don't
- 30:41Speaker 1: want to play with him. Quincy said he was a racist. MF.
- 30:44Speaker 1: I'm going to shut up now, Okay, So Tommy Dorsey,
- 30:50Speaker 1: when else Elvis came in, said I don't want to
- 30:53Speaker 1: play with him because Quincy said he was a racist.
- 30:55Speaker 1: MF mother f That's what he said. I'm going to
- 30:58Speaker 1: shut up now. The Hollywood know what all these initials mean.
- 31:01Speaker 1: You see, you don't custom like with me, so you
- 31:03Speaker 1: think you gotta explain. We know what you know. You
- 31:06Speaker 1: ain't got to say mother elf. We know what that is.
- 31:10Speaker 1: If you thought we think shirley, you thought we thought malfunction?
- 31:12Speaker 1: What you thought we thought legal term. The Hollywood Reporter
- 31:21Speaker 1: series is called Icon and in the article, Quincy opened
- 31:24Speaker 1: up about his candid takes on Hollywood racism and he
- 31:27Speaker 1: reflects on his career. Quincy Jones is eighty eight years old.
- 31:30Speaker 1: He's won twenty eight Grammys. Twenty eight. You know a
- 31:35Speaker 1: lot of people twenty eighty eight. He ain't got fixed nothing.
- 31:39Speaker 1: He said, let it go. Yeah, he's saying whatever he
- 31:43Speaker 1: wants to say. Pust that little song on the movie
- 31:45Speaker 1: frost the Frosty of Frozen, let it go. The movie
- 31:52Speaker 1: is Frosty. It'srozen, that's A and D. It's not Frosty
- 31:59Speaker 1: the Snowman. Right. And I just learned all this the
- 32:04Speaker 1: other damn family. Yeah, because the little girl on the
- 32:08Speaker 1: show named Anna, what I call it Anna, but it
- 32:11Speaker 1: wasn't Anna Anna. Then she said Anna liking of frozen? Well,
- 32:19Speaker 1: what the hell is that? I don't even know what
- 32:22Speaker 1: that is? She said, you don't know where a frozen
- 32:25Speaker 1: is an? I said no, But I said, what is
- 32:31Speaker 1: the little girl's name that's on the billboard? She said,
- 32:36Speaker 1: on what field board? Because I kept getting it mixed
- 32:40Speaker 1: up with Frosty and you know, Wendy's Wendy's hass Frosty boy,
- 32:51Speaker 1: that little girl thought I was. She was just looking
- 32:53Speaker 1: at me. Her mother was open. She was just shaking
- 32:55Speaker 1: her head. Mister Harvey, go, I'm ripping off information now.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Let go, Letty go, let go. Let's get to the headline. Steve,
- 33:16Speaker 1: here she come. Whoamies? Oh thank you very much that introduction.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, This is Antrip with the news. Well,
- 33:30Speaker 1: today marks the one year anniversary of the horrific murder
- 33:33Speaker 1: of George Floyd, and members of the Floyd family have
- 33:35Speaker 1: been meeting in Minneapolis and they were met there by
- 33:39Speaker 1: racial justice activists over the weekend, actually celebrating and remembering
- 33:42Speaker 1: the life of the forty six year old father, a
- 33:44Speaker 1: white now ex police officer we know his named Derek Chauvin,
- 33:47Speaker 1: murdered mister Floyd by pressing his knee into Floyd's neck
- 33:50Speaker 1: for over nine minutes. There's a panel discussion yesterday which
- 33:54Speaker 1: included the families of other African Americans killed by white cops,
- 33:57Speaker 1: and at a rally, the Revenel Shopton reminded the crowd
- 34:00Speaker 1: that the fight's not over. Convicting Chauvin is not enough.
- 34:05Speaker 1: We need federal legislation, and that legislation is called the
- 34:09Speaker 1: George Floyd Justice and Policing Act, which would ban chokeholes,
- 34:13Speaker 1: among other things, and make it easier to prosecute homicidal cops.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Derek Chauvin was convicted of both murder and manslaughter. He's
- 34:21Speaker 1: going to be sentenced next month. George Floyd's brother, Terrence Floyd,
- 34:25Speaker 1: says that his brother's murder did force people to see
- 34:28Speaker 1: and to believe. The world woke up finally open to
- 34:33Speaker 1: what we already knew, that's right and always said, oh,
- 34:36Speaker 1: by the way. Members of the Floyd family also scheduled
- 34:39Speaker 1: to meet with President Biden later aren't today at the
- 34:41Speaker 1: White House. Several states now either prohibit or limit the
- 34:44Speaker 1: use of chokeholes and neck restraints by police, and more
- 34:46Speaker 1: and more individual cities are taking steps to reign in
- 34:49Speaker 1: bad cops and make them accountable for their actions. Meanwhile,
- 34:52Speaker 1: the mostly right leaning US Supreme Court refusing to consider
- 34:56Speaker 1: a case examining liability for police shootings in suburban Cleveland.
- 35:00Speaker 1: In one case in twenty seventeen, a white officer named
- 35:02Speaker 1: Michael Rhodes shot and killed an African American man named
- 35:05Speaker 1: Luke Stewart, and by shooting him in the chest and
- 35:08Speaker 1: neck at close range. Stewart's family father federal civil rights lawsuit.
- 35:12Speaker 1: The Israeli Hamasses fire is still holding across your fingers, folks.
- 35:16Speaker 1: So Secretary of State Anthony B. Lincoln is traveling to
- 35:19Speaker 1: the Middle East. He's probably there and now it's probably
- 35:20Speaker 1: just arrived where he's expected with Egypt's assistance to gain
- 35:24Speaker 1: the cooperation of other countries in the region, Jordan, the
- 35:27Speaker 1: United Arab Emirates, and the Palestinding Authority that's Hamas's main
- 35:31Speaker 1: rival in the Godza Strip. He's going to be apparently
- 35:33Speaker 1: speaking to them. He says he's not going to have
- 35:35Speaker 1: anything to say to Hamas. Finally, a suburban Atlanta restaurant
- 35:38Speaker 1: that I told you about yesterday issuing an apology to
- 35:41Speaker 1: NBA Hall of famer Dominique Wilkins, who was turned away
- 35:44Speaker 1: Sunday by the staff. They are claiming there were no tables,
- 35:47Speaker 1: and then when he said what there are, he said, oh, well,
- 35:49Speaker 1: you're not dressed properly. Yeah, I'm trying to tell you
- 35:52Speaker 1: a story. Yeah, somebody's telling the story not dressed properly.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Right now, back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening. Well,
- 36:02Speaker 1: the grass isn't always greener. On the other side, twenty
- 36:05Speaker 1: four year old Minnesota NBA player Malik Beasley publicly apologized
- 36:09Speaker 1: to his wife after leaving his family for forty six
- 36:13Speaker 1: year old Larsa Pippen, Scottie Pippen's ex wife. Malik posted
- 36:17Speaker 1: on his ig yesterday, I want to say sorry for
- 36:20Speaker 1: putting you in the situation you were put in the
- 36:23Speaker 1: last few months. My head wasn't where it was supposed
- 36:26Speaker 1: to be, Beasley wrote, alongside a throwback photo of himself
- 36:31Speaker 1: and his wife cradling their son McKay, who's now two,
- 36:35Speaker 1: in the hospital after he was born. I was looking
- 36:38Speaker 1: for more when it was right here the whole time.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I'm telling the world and you that there's nobody like
- 36:44Speaker 1: you for me. His wife, Montana filed for divorce back
- 36:48Speaker 1: in December, and she publicly called the apology a step
- 36:51Speaker 1: forward in healing for her family. Wow. Now he's twenty four,
- 36:58Speaker 1: Larsa Pippen was forty six. He left his family for her. Yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 1: Warso was out there bad with this thirst is I
- 37:10Speaker 1: don't understand that at all. You broke your thoughts, Steve.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You're you're awfully quiet right now, you're processing. Yeah, come on,
- 37:22Speaker 1: bring it, baby, bring it and publicly apologize he humiliated her. Yes,
- 37:28Speaker 1: I mean what he's doing is the perfect thing to
- 37:31Speaker 1: do to try to make a right now. Okay, I
- 37:39Speaker 1: know all these people I don't know know them, I
- 37:41Speaker 1: know they are. Yeah, and you've met them as well. Well,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I've never you can't talk about and you know too
- 37:55Speaker 1: much that I can't. Come on, give me something, give
- 37:57Speaker 1: me a little something. I understand. I understand. I understand
- 38:02Speaker 1: the temporary lapse of judgment. Okay, okay, we've all had that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: but he that temporary loss of judgment. He came on
- 38:10Speaker 1: back like he's posted to. But I do understand the
- 38:13Speaker 1: temporary lapse of judgment. Well, she broke his wife's heart. Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: she said, it's a step forward. And see that's that's
- 38:22Speaker 1: what's crazy, old man. You can't that you broke your
- 38:24Speaker 1: girl's heart over what and and how is uh twenty
- 38:30Speaker 1: four he's twenty four and Larsa is forty six. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 1: he lost his mind. Well that out like looking at pictures,
- 38:44Speaker 1: like like everybody else found out. But you know, yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: that's that's the cold part right there. Yeah. But but Steve,
- 38:52Speaker 1: you say this often, just as he said, I was
- 38:55Speaker 1: looking for more when it was right here the whole time.
- 38:58Speaker 1: He went outside of his home to try to fix something,
- 39:02Speaker 1: you know, don't trust and believe. Yeah, all right, well,
- 39:11Speaker 1: we wish them the best. Coming up at thirty four
- 39:14Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 39:16Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to this
- 39:20Speaker 1: day show. Well, Congress is set to miss President Joe
- 39:25Speaker 1: Biden's deadline today to pass George Floyd's Justice in Policing Act.
- 39:30Speaker 1: It's a police reform bill as negotiator to decide how
- 39:34Speaker 1: far the federal government should go to root out law
- 39:37Speaker 1: enforcement misconduct and violence against black Americans. It was one
- 39:41Speaker 1: year ago today that George Floyd was murdered by former
- 39:45Speaker 1: Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin after he pressed his knee
- 39:49Speaker 1: into Floyd's neck for more than nine minutes. Congress as
- 39:53Speaker 1: yet to exert its power to change American policing, and
- 39:56Speaker 1: according to CNBC, by partisan negotiators have worked for weeks
- 40:01Speaker 1: to tweak the House pass George Floyd Justice and Policing
- 40:04Speaker 1: Act to win enough Republican support to get it through
- 40:07Speaker 1: the Senate. A provision to curve qualified immunity, which shields
- 40:11Speaker 1: police officers from most civil lawsuits, poses the biggest remaining
- 40:16Speaker 1: obstacle toward reaching a deal. And today is the day
- 40:20Speaker 1: that President Biden will have a private meeting in person
- 40:23Speaker 1: with George Floyd's family. Look, if you don't get rid
- 40:27Speaker 1: of that unity is qualified immunity. This is all for nothing.
- 40:33Speaker 1: That's the loophole. The qualified immunity says that if a
- 40:38Speaker 1: police officer cannot be held accountable if he's performing in
- 40:42Speaker 1: the act of duty, well, if he got his badge
- 40:46Speaker 1: out and and he talking, he in the act of duty,
- 40:49Speaker 1: so that so that puts him back into safety's own
- 40:53Speaker 1: Listen to me, why is it that black people have
- 40:57Speaker 1: to constantly beg and march and plead and ask for
- 41:04Speaker 1: the same rights that you have. Y'all need to quit
- 41:08Speaker 1: acting like justice is pie. Like if we get a
- 41:12Speaker 1: big slice, that's less for yours. Justice ain't pie. Justice
- 41:16Speaker 1: is a flavor, y'all won't even do a simple act
- 41:20Speaker 1: of give it to us. And why you won't give
- 41:22Speaker 1: it to us because your ass is straight up racist,
- 41:26Speaker 1: because you think the way you're treating black people is
- 41:29Speaker 1: sufficient for them. But if you were getting treated the
- 41:32Speaker 1: same way, you wouldn't accept it for yourself. You would
- 41:36Speaker 1: never allow for your children to be murdered the way
- 41:39Speaker 1: we got to watch our sons and fathers and daughters
- 41:43Speaker 1: and husbands and nephews and uncles get murdered. But you
- 41:48Speaker 1: sit up here in there and you constantly want to
- 41:50Speaker 1: say America ain't racist, but you keep doing racist stuff
- 41:53Speaker 1: like this. You won't even pass a simple act to
- 41:57Speaker 1: give us a chance at justice, not for the bigger
- 42:00Speaker 1: slice of justice, but the same flavor that y'all getting.
- 42:04Speaker 1: We want the same damn spoon. Your ass is eating
- 42:07Speaker 1: your justice all for justice ain't pie, y'all. Where if
- 42:10Speaker 1: you give us a bigger slice, you get less. That
- 42:13Speaker 1: ain't what this is. Justice is a flavor, and we
- 42:17Speaker 1: ain't been tasting the same thing since our ass got here.
- 42:20Speaker 1: And that's what we're sick of, and we're sick and
- 42:22Speaker 1: tired of it. And you're gonna keep messing around. Okay, now,
- 42:25Speaker 1: let me tell you this here, you're gonna keep messing around. Man.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Black folks tired it is. Black folks is sick and
- 42:32Speaker 1: tired of being sick and tired. Were sick and tired
- 42:35Speaker 1: of you just sitting up in here, man, expecting us
- 42:38Speaker 1: to be patient. How much longer we got to wait?
- 42:42Speaker 1: Why are we waiting on justice? Ye give us the constitution,
- 42:47Speaker 1: the same constitution you got. Why are we different? We
- 42:50Speaker 1: built this country? Or you don't want to tell that truth?
- 42:53Speaker 1: That would be in the history, but you'd have to
- 42:54Speaker 1: rewrite too much for too many adventions we've done, waiting
- 42:57Speaker 1: too much from this country. You're not gonna tell that truth. Okay,
- 43:02Speaker 1: sot talking about the truth. Okay, See, so let's just
- 43:05Speaker 1: not talk about that for a minute. Ain't nobody asking
- 43:08Speaker 1: you for no damn reparations. Let's stop that for a minute.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Can we just get basic human dignity and rights? Every
- 43:18Speaker 1: story you hear is about a black being treated unjust
- 43:23Speaker 1: by the police. Ain't no stories of white people getting
- 43:26Speaker 1: killed at the hands of the police unjustifiably, and stop
- 43:30Speaker 1: using that little b s that y'all talk about. It's
- 43:34Speaker 1: just as many whites getting shot by police, not unjustifiably.
- 43:38Speaker 1: It ain't now, So if it's more whites being shot
- 43:41Speaker 1: by police, that must mean there's more white's committing crimes.
- 43:45Speaker 1: But when it comes to unjustifiable deaths, we are one
- 43:49Speaker 1: hundred percent in front of that. And we're sick and
- 43:51Speaker 1: tire of y'all with this monkey mess. But I'll tell
- 43:55Speaker 1: you what, We're gonna keep voting. You watching C. You
- 43:57Speaker 1: watching C. We didn't have enough for this here. You
- 44:00Speaker 1: will never go back to what we were. We're gonna
- 44:02Speaker 1: vote all y'all out in a minute. Come all, y'all
- 44:04Speaker 1: gonna be gone here, last one of y'all as long
- 44:07Speaker 1: as I got a Mike, y'all gone, sir. We'll be
- 44:11Speaker 1: back with more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 44:14Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning
- 44:18Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 44:21Speaker 1: about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today
- 44:24Speaker 1: and the subject is in between lovers. Okay, we'll get
- 44:30Speaker 1: to that in just a little bit. But right, yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 1: I'm not gonna knock it between lovers, okay, in between cars.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Right now, the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:46Speaker 1: You're here. I'm what you got for us now? A
- 44:49Speaker 1: stolen car. A stolen car. Let's go cat do Hello Hello,
- 44:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach it a Trevor police Sir. You
- 45:05Speaker 1: purchased a two thousand and one Navy blue from a
- 45:11Speaker 1: used car lot dealership called a car Lot, I don't know,
- 45:15Speaker 1: maybe six or seven months ago, am I right? Okay?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Now you've been paying notes on this car, I know,
- 45:23Speaker 1: for the last six months, and you know, I hate
- 45:27Speaker 1: to be a burden of bad news. Actually my name
- 45:30Speaker 1: is uh, Detective Justin, and I'm giving you a call
- 45:34Speaker 1: to let you know that the actual vehicle, this two
- 45:36Speaker 1: thousand and one Navy Blue that you purchased, is actually
- 45:42Speaker 1: a stolen vehicle. And we've actually been looking for this
- 45:45Speaker 1: car for the last I've been pretty much close to
- 45:48Speaker 1: a year now, maybe a little over a year, we've
- 45:50Speaker 1: been looking for this I work in the auto theft division,
- 45:53Speaker 1: and say you argue, Detective Justin, sir, and I'm in
- 45:59Speaker 1: the auto theft division. Here at the police department. Let's
- 46:04Speaker 1: don't h I think you got the wrong. I think
- 46:09Speaker 1: you got the wrong, god man, because um no, sir,
- 46:15Speaker 1: it's it's it's it's and I've done the trace on
- 46:17Speaker 1: on and I know this is probably a shock to you,
- 46:20Speaker 1: but you we're right on point with this thing. You's
- 46:22Speaker 1: got a two thousand and one Navy blue. You did
- 46:24Speaker 1: buy it. You did buy it at the car lot dealership,
- 46:27Speaker 1: and that uh, and it's the exact one in the
- 46:30Speaker 1: license plate, sir, they do match up. And uh. I
- 46:34Speaker 1: know this is a bit of a shock to you,
- 46:36Speaker 1: but your car is actually a stolen car. So the dealership, sir,
- 46:41Speaker 1: actually sold you a stolen car. And I know you
- 46:45Speaker 1: did not know that. I know that it was not
- 46:47Speaker 1: any information that you already knew. And I know you
- 46:50Speaker 1: thought that you were just purchasing a legitimate car. But
- 46:53Speaker 1: you have a stolen car, mister Trevor. And no, man, no,
- 46:58Speaker 1: I think you got the wrong because this this car
- 47:01Speaker 1: is not stolen for real, and this is not stolen, sir.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I can go all day with you and try to
- 47:06Speaker 1: make you understand what's going on here, and I know
- 47:09Speaker 1: it's probably some some blurry information that's not clear to you.
- 47:13Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, your car is stolen.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I am gonna have to either get someone to come
- 47:18Speaker 1: out and impound it or you No, no, I think
- 47:23Speaker 1: y'all might need to go back over y'all records, man,
- 47:25Speaker 1: because I think y'all on the real, I think y'all
- 47:27Speaker 1: got the wrong person, sir, for real, I'm gonna tell
- 47:31Speaker 1: you once and I'm gonna tell you again. You have
- 47:34Speaker 1: a car that's stolen that I have to have in
- 47:36Speaker 1: my possession by the end of the day. Now, by
- 47:40Speaker 1: the end of the day, for real, man, you got sir,
- 47:42Speaker 1: you have a stolen car, and you're gonna need to
- 47:45Speaker 1: bring that car into the police station so we can
- 47:48Speaker 1: get this thing rectified. I'm man, for real. Man, hold on,
- 47:52Speaker 1: let me talk about this. Man. I don't know about
- 47:55Speaker 1: all this she's telling me. For real, Sir, I understand
- 47:57Speaker 1: what you're saying, But do you realize you're talking to
- 48:00Speaker 1: a police officer here. I am detective. I am detective Justin.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I am who you are, man, I'm sill. Hold it's
- 48:10Speaker 1: no longer, sir. We've had to actually shut them down
- 48:14Speaker 1: for the time being until we get a quite a
- 48:16Speaker 1: few cars rectified that I've got more than just your vehicle, Sir,
- 48:20Speaker 1: that's been that that has auto theft tied to it.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Hold on, that's two things. Either you're gonna bring it
- 48:29Speaker 1: to me or I'm gonna come get it now. Which
- 48:30Speaker 1: one do you want to do to You ain't coming
- 48:32Speaker 1: to get for real, sir. I don't want to have
- 48:35Speaker 1: this to have to get go to a level of
- 48:37Speaker 1: where it doesn't need to be. But I need to
- 48:39Speaker 1: get that card in my possession. Okay, look, look, look
- 48:42Speaker 1: listen while I'm telling you. Okay, you're listening. I'm listening, sir. Okay, look,
- 48:47Speaker 1: un listen, somebody's gonna take me my three hundred thirty
- 48:50Speaker 1: third at fifty two cents I've been paying for the
- 48:53Speaker 1: last six months unless you're gonna tall me that give
- 48:56Speaker 1: me back my trade ins that get this. Man, I
- 49:00Speaker 1: ain't out here you're talking about for real? No, this
- 49:03Speaker 1: is you're coming at me with. Man, I went too
- 49:05Speaker 1: hard to be keeping up see notes like here, Man,
- 49:08Speaker 1: I got that and my rist to take care of,
- 49:10Speaker 1: and you come to talk about you saying take my
- 49:12Speaker 1: car because something that happened before I bought it, and
- 49:16Speaker 1: what I don't even know if this is true. Like
- 49:18Speaker 1: I said, I thank you missing. I think you've got
- 49:20Speaker 1: me mixed with somebody else. What y'all just not coming
- 49:23Speaker 1: at me talking this. I ain't heard nothing about this before. Sure,
- 49:26Speaker 1: it's taking us a while to actually track down the
- 49:28Speaker 1: car and actually find out exactly where it was. I've
- 49:31Speaker 1: I've tracked this car so for the last eight nine months,
- 49:34Speaker 1: and I finally found it. You are the one that's
- 49:36Speaker 1: actually has it in your possession. It happens all the time.
- 49:39Speaker 1: It's an unlikely situation, but I gotta get you to
- 49:42Speaker 1: bring it in, and I'm not. I ain't bring you,
- 49:45Speaker 1: hear me, I ain't brilliant. Y'all got coming to get
- 49:48Speaker 1: from me unless somebody give me my three hunting at
- 49:51Speaker 1: seventy seven dollars fifty two cents I've been paying for
- 49:54Speaker 1: the last six months plus in my back. Sure, I'm
- 49:58Speaker 1: sure you're probably long gone by now. It's problems. I'm stopping. Okay,
- 50:03Speaker 1: then then y'all can need at least just come with
- 50:05Speaker 1: the money. Come with the money. I just don't get
- 50:07Speaker 1: another roster somewhere, em sir, I'm not. I can't sit
- 50:10Speaker 1: here and negotiate with you. I'm just a detective that's
- 50:12Speaker 1: on this actual case. And I know it's a trying situation,
- 50:16Speaker 1: but I am going to have to send some officers
- 50:19Speaker 1: out there that that do this type of thing. They
- 50:21Speaker 1: pick up these cars and bring them into the I
- 50:24Speaker 1: wish you would send somebody out here to get my car.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And if you can't neg go here with me. You
- 50:28Speaker 1: need to find somebody can. And no, you know, you
- 50:33Speaker 1: bring somebody out here if you want to, don't bring somebody.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I got some book here. I've been working too. Oh man,
- 50:40Speaker 1: I'm working a grand ship. I'm putting all the time.
- 50:43Speaker 1: They got to stay late so that man, I'm I'm
- 50:45Speaker 1: working to order and try to get this car. Man,
- 50:47Speaker 1: it's gonna bring God here if you want to for real, sir, sir, sir, calm,
- 50:53Speaker 1: I gotta get you calm down. I mean, you get
- 50:55Speaker 1: a little out to me here and told me my
- 50:57Speaker 1: car stolen, and y'all talking about time to get it
- 50:59Speaker 1: from me. Sure, I know this is a surprise, and
- 51:04Speaker 1: I understand that, and you gotta great. You got an
- 51:06Speaker 1: honest living, an honest job, and I understand that. But
- 51:08Speaker 1: some people have done some dishonest things and that's what's
- 51:11Speaker 1: happened here. Somebody that is my problem right there? That
- 51:15Speaker 1: ain't the problem was dead when I first got it,
- 51:19Speaker 1: so right from the problem. Now I'm not understanding that.
- 51:21Speaker 1: All I'm staying is is your cub with my car.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I'm on, y'all. Look, that's all I'm saying. You know what,
- 51:27Speaker 1: I don't want to go any further. Can I say

- 52:04Speaker 1: that Steve Harvey Morning Show. Because what I do, it's
- 52:11Speaker 1: what I do. All I'm saying, Trevor, Man, Man, somebody

- 53:52Speaker 1: You never know. Buggle up and hold on tight. We
- 53:54Speaker 1: got it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Thank enough you subject in between Lovers. In between Lovers
- 54:03Speaker 1: is our subject. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty four
- 54:06Speaker 1: year old woman and I'm married. I found the man
- 54:08Speaker 1: of my dreams and he's treated me like a queen
- 54:12Speaker 1: since the beginning of our courtship. We've been married almost
- 54:15Speaker 1: a year. Until recently, my life and marriage were great.
- 54:20Speaker 1: He's in his late forties and he's having issues with
- 54:23Speaker 1: high blood pressure, so his doctor put him on a
- 54:25Speaker 1: high dose of medication. Because of all the medicine, our
- 54:29Speaker 1: sex life sucks. He has to get really worked up
- 54:34Speaker 1: to get it started, and then it's over for him
- 54:37Speaker 1: at the blink of an eye. I lost all hope
- 54:40Speaker 1: when his doctor said he need to be on the
- 54:42Speaker 1: medication indefinitely. He has the medication for erectile dysfunction, but
- 54:47Speaker 1: he refuses to take it because he's gotten excited at
- 54:51Speaker 1: the wrong time. I had to suffer without sex for
- 54:56Speaker 1: a while, but then the unthinkable happened. My husband's twenty
- 55:01Speaker 1: eight year old son is a personal trainer and he's
- 55:04Speaker 1: got muscles that pop out all over his creamy chocolate body.
- 55:08Speaker 1: He also has twists in his hair, and since I
- 55:12Speaker 1: was a hairstylist for years, I help him by retwisting
- 55:15Speaker 1: his hair when needed. He'd usually come over in the
- 55:18Speaker 1: morning after his dad went to work. He's always been
- 55:22Speaker 1: a little firtatious, and I'm sure he could sense that
- 55:24Speaker 1: I was attracted to him. He finally admitted that he
- 55:28Speaker 1: fantasizes about his sexy stepmother seducing him, and he suggested
- 55:32Speaker 1: we role play. I was so turned on and in
- 55:36Speaker 1: need of sex that I played along with him. We
- 55:40Speaker 1: have the most amazing sex and have been sneaking around
- 55:44Speaker 1: for two months. I've got the best of both worlds,
- 55:47Speaker 1: with a husband that spoils me and my stepson that
- 55:50Speaker 1: pleases me. I'm just doing this until my husband gets
- 55:54Speaker 1: his mojo back. Do you think I should have a
- 55:56Speaker 1: talk with my stepson or do you think he's just
- 55:59Speaker 1: in it for the sex to please advise? Well? Talk
- 56:03Speaker 1: to him about. What what are you talking to him about?
- 56:07Speaker 1: And yes, of course he's just in it for the sex.
- 56:10Speaker 1: You're you're his dad's wife, and what does it matter
- 56:13Speaker 1: what the reason is anyway, I mean, you're sleeping with
- 56:17Speaker 1: your stepson. Okay, hello, you're sleeping with your stepson. You
- 56:21Speaker 1: can't rationalize this, you can't excuse this. You can't act
- 56:25Speaker 1: like this is a normal affair. You're not even having
- 56:28Speaker 1: a normal affair. You're sleeping with your husband's son. Come on,
- 56:32Speaker 1: both of you. Both of you are really low for
- 56:34Speaker 1: doing this to your husband and his father. Your man
- 56:41Speaker 1: has a medical issue. Okay, that's what that is, and
- 56:44Speaker 1: this is how you help him. This is your version
- 56:47Speaker 1: of being the supportive wife to sleep with his son
- 56:51Speaker 1: and gloat about it to us. My husband spoils me.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Oh no, she said, I have the best of both worlds.
- 56:58Speaker 1: My husband spoils me and my step son pleases me.
- 57:02Speaker 1: That sounds crazy and how selfish of you. I mean,
- 57:05Speaker 1: this is not a movie, this is real life. Well,
- 57:08Speaker 1: what you're doing is really not cool. You know, if
- 57:11Speaker 1: you guys slipped up and your husband found out about this,
- 57:13Speaker 1: this would tear him apart. He's already going through enough.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I think he would be as mad. I don't think
- 57:20Speaker 1: he would be as mad. I should say, if you
- 57:22Speaker 1: did go out and had like a normal affair, of
- 57:25Speaker 1: course he'd be mad. But with his son, that's unthinkable.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I'm not telling you to do that, of course, to
- 57:31Speaker 1: go out and have any kind of affair. But what
- 57:33Speaker 1: I'm saying is that you should encourage your husband maybe
- 57:36Speaker 1: to get a second opinion, get a third opinion, you know,
- 57:40Speaker 1: seek some natural methods or something, some alternative solutions to
- 57:44Speaker 1: get your husband's blood pressure down. In the meantime, you're
- 57:47Speaker 1: gonna have to break it off with Junior, because that's
- 57:50Speaker 1: a go nowhere situation that's going to hurt everyone. Steve, Wow,
- 57:58Speaker 1: this letter is feel with nothing but triflingness. I mean,
- 58:06Speaker 1: there's no there's no redeeming quality in this letter at all.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I've never been so disappointed at well. I can't say
- 58:14Speaker 1: that I'm just the whole letter. It's just trifling. First
- 58:20Speaker 1: of all, she's thirty four, her husband is in his
- 58:24Speaker 1: late forties. Let's say forty eight is late forty nine.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Forty eight forty nine, that's late forty You the man
- 58:34Speaker 1: of your dreams, treat you like a tween a queen.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Since the beginning of our court, we've been married almost
- 58:41Speaker 1: a year a year one year, and until recently my
- 58:47Speaker 1: life in marriage were great. It's just been a year.
- 58:52Speaker 1: You go digging low down, no good winch a year. Man,
- 59:02Speaker 1: it's just is winch, but winch is when you're from
- 59:09Speaker 1: the country, just no good woman. You know, without using
- 59:15Speaker 1: no other words, just to no good chick. You get
- 59:18Speaker 1: treated like a queen and up and you've been the
- 59:21Speaker 1: beginning that care. We've been married almost a year and
- 59:23Speaker 1: until recently, my life in marriage were great. He's as
- 59:27Speaker 1: late fearn as. He's having issues with high blood pressure,
- 59:29Speaker 1: so it's doctor to put him on a high dose
- 59:31Speaker 1: of medication. Because of all his medication, our sex life sucks.
- 59:35Speaker 1: He got to get really rucked up to get his
- 59:37Speaker 1: started and then it's over him at the blink of
- 59:40Speaker 1: an eye. I lost all hope when the doctor said
- 59:43Speaker 1: he'd been needed a medication and definite. So you lost
- 59:46Speaker 1: all hope in a year. Why was you in it
- 59:48Speaker 1: in the first place? Yo, yo, vials ain't death do
- 59:53Speaker 1: us part meant? Nothing? Seeking his health meant Now it
- 59:56Speaker 1: ain't even been a year and your trifling behind. I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: ain't even told the people what you did. Yes, he
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: got a reptile dysfunction. Oh boy, old. We'll get back
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to the wine all right. We'll have part two of
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up in twenty three minutes after be
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: our today's Strawberry letters. Subjects in between lovers. That's all
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: she cares about. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: today strawberry letter. The subject is in between lovers. This girl,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: thirty four year old, trifling woman married. Now, she hadn't
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: wrote this letter. She didn't found the man of her dream.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Treat her like a queen, and it's been the queen
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: since the beginning by a core show. Now they've been
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: married almost a year, and then your life and marriage
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: were great. He's in his late forties and he's having
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: issues with high blood so the doctor put him on
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: a high dose medication. Because of all the medicine, our
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: sex life sucks. It's been a year, it's been one year,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and this trifling woman right here, he got to really
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: get worked up to get his start, and then it's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: over for him at the blink of an eye. I
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: lost all hope when the doctor said he needed to
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: be on the medication indefinitely. That's not true. High blood
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you can. You can help change your high blood with food.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You can change high blood with food. I know for
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: a witness, I am a living witness to this that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I was given a diagnosis of going into high blood
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and I was put on a low dose of high blood.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I no longer take it, and I did it with
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: food and exercise. You can. You don't have to be
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: on that. I'm not saying. You know, high blood is
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: not incurable, but you have to make some drastic steps.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: You gotta get real holistic. His medication and so the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: doc said he be on medication and deva. He has
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a medication for erectile dysfunction, but refuses to take it
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: because he's gotten excited at the wrong time. What wait
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a minute, You got some medicine for erectile dysfunction and
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: you don't want to take it because you get in
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: direction at the wrong time. Where the wrong time is
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: now the right time for us to get on any hill? Yeah?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: See now, yeah, time to check the time is now.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: All that stuff come with instructions, yes, but they got
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: some stuff out there. Now, man, you can take in
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: this instant. You ain't got to wear about no timing. This,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: this don't make no sense, this twenty twenty one. But
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: now he don't want to take it because it gets
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: sex after get excited at the wrong times. I've had
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to suffer without sex for a while. But then the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: unthinkable happened. Now I see first right here. It wasn't unthinkable.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: This what I'm about to share with y'all was not unthinkable.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You thought of this before. My husband's twenty eight year
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: old son is a personal trainer, and he got muscles
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: that pop out all over his creamy chocolate body. He
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: also has twist in his hand, and since I was
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: a half stylist for years, I used to help him
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: by retwisting his halt when needed. He usually come over
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: in the morning after his dad that went to work.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: He's always been a little flirtations and I'm sure he
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: consents that I was attracted to him. Well, then, when
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: you said earlier that the unthinkable happened, who was you
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: trying to fool in a letter? Because it wasn't unthinkable
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: because Jeff, from twisting his hair, he could tell that
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you was attracted to him, see because you're thirty four
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and twenty eight year old dude and his late forties.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: He finally admitted that he fantasizes about his sexy stepmother
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: seducing him, and he suggested we rolled. You ain't have
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: no problem. I was so turned on and didn't need
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a sex that I played along with him. We had
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the most amazing sex and have been sneaking around for
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: two months. I got the best of both worlds, with
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a husband that spoils me and my stepson that pleases me.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I'm just doing this until my husband gets his mojo back.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: What wait a minute, see, let me let me say
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: it to you. Trifling. Yeah, you just said it was
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: gonna be in definitely and you've lost all hope. So
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: you're not doing this until your husband get his mojo back.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I don't know who you thought you wrote this letter. Team.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: You're doing it because you're trifling. You're doing it because
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: it's already been just a year and your life is ruined. See,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you can't be a trifling person and put a time
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: limit and a set of circumstances on when the trifles
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: is gonna surface. Trifling people do trifling things all the time,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: all the time. You can't put it time when your
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: husband getting back. That's not gonna stop you from being trifling.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I got news for you. You was trifling before your
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: husband had the rectile problem. You've been trifling. See this
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: just bought it out. You married him because you was trifling,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: because you was getting small and getting treated right. I'm
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: doing this until my husband getting him. Do you think
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I should have a talk with my stepson? Like Sherley said,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: what you've been talking about? What is you're talking about?
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Y'all ain't been talking y'all schooling? So what you want
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: to talk to him about? Do you think we should
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: have talking about stepson? Or do you think he's just
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in it for the sex too? In it for the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: sex too? What you think it was? He told you,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: fantasized me. What you see? What you think is, I'm
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: just doing this my husband. Do you think I should
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: have a talk with my stepson or do you think
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: he just sent it for the sex? Please avide, lady,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: listen to me. See what else could he be in
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: it for? Or do you think this could be more?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I'm telling you this, chip, thanks, it could be more.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: That's why she want to have a talk with him
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: to make see if he's just in it for the
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: sex too, or is he starting to hand some feelers well,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: because she gonna go with him, so she would leave
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: her husband. Exactly exactly became all hope is gone. His
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: son ain't sugar honey iced tea, and his wife ain't
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: sugar honey iced tea. Bye for Alicia. All right, thank you, Steve.

- 1:10:13Speaker 1: What have you believe that men don't have any feelings
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: or show any emotions? But in fact, men are as
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: much emotional beings as women are. The power of the
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: spoken word is healing or detrimental, depending on how you
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: use it. The men have spoken, and here are nine
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: things they want you to hear. All right, So guys
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: please pay attention to jump in and comment. All right,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: these are some things that the guys want you to hear.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: So they're talking to us women. They want Number one,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I'm proud of you. Yes, yes, yes, you want to
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: hear that why is that? Yeah, say yeah, because you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: bust your butt the whole time. You want to lease
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: a little pat on the back. I mean it's validation.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: You got to remember that me and are all boys
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: at heart, and what we always want is validation. We
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: want our mothers to be proud of us and our
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: fathers to be proud of us. Just goes from boyhood. Okay,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Yeah, yeah, thank you? Your dog
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: going right. Yeah, I'm out here like Tommy say, we're
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: busted our tail and y'all just taken. Ain't no thank you.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Now this is not to say women don't want these things.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: We just talk about me and my men right now,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: just me and yeah, thank you would be nice, okay,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: because all men don't get that, and they deserve it
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: at to a lot of times. So yeah, because yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: you don't give it to us. All right, here's another one.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I see you, I see you, I see you. This
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: is for you, know, like if you've been to the
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: gym and you're working out and stuff and you're taking
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: care of yourself, you want your wife to say, or
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: your girl or your partner or whatever, I see you,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: give me some I ain't been getting that either Yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you know, I know I ain't going but here fat
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: ass over there? About that? Wait? What what you know?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I know I ain't what I used to be, but
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: look at his fat ass over there. You know you
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: have that, you know, give me something, you know? Really? Yeah? Okay, okay,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I trust you. How about that one? I ain't hear none. Yeah,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you know, if you got something, if you're doing some
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: makeup work, you can't live fire. Trust. I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: we don't even talk about. How about this one? I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: don't care about your past. I don't have to hear that.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I think women like that one. Yeah, but I don't
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: care about your bed what? No, that ain't because I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: don't believe that. I mean, I don't care about your bed. Well,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I mean we're married now, so your past bed nights,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: your pass don't need to come up. That's you're saying
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: that as a as a man, your past doesn't need
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to come up. So for the woman to say I
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: don't care about your past everything, no, I'm saying. I'm
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: saying my one, my wife passed, and one don't need
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: to come up. Yeah, woman's pass That's what I'm trying
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: to Yeah, okay, yeah, women like to hear that. I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: think more than men. Okay, here are two. I support you,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: gotta have that. I support you. Yeah, that's a that's
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: a month. And look, I support you. I know what
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: you're doing. Maybe a little, you know, to the left
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: or thinking out the box, but hey, look you know
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you're trying. I support the effort. Okay, that gives me fuel.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: That gives me fuel when you get to get up
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: and do it again. Yeah, I appreciate you, man, that's
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: that's so and that's beyond thank you, you know, because
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: she's already said thank you. That's that's appreciation. It's like
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: almost number one. Okay. How about this when you make
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: me happy? Yeah, I mean that's helpful, you know, even
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: though that's not our jail Jakes told me that one time.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: It's not your job to make another person happy. To
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: know it, Shoot, you make at yours. But if we
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: all and you're happy, that's a very nice thing to say,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: and you want her to be happy and if you
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: have absolutely role in that of course. Yeah. Okay, how
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: about this one? You look handsome, you just lie on

- 1:16:01Speaker 1: We had never played a white artist because white stations
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: didn't play our music, so we had our own stations.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: He was the first white artist in nineteen seventy three,

- 1:16:57Speaker 1: and she says, freaky sex is out because sex is
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: only for procreation. I want to put her. I want to.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I want to. I want to put her in all
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: the positions she used to love because she won't but
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: she won't allow herself to get into it. How can
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I get her Bible off the nightstand and get her

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: can't reach you guide you on this one right here,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: because you asking me to get the Bible off nice

- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you didn't got real holy because you didn't have this.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Something happened to you doing COVID. But sex is for
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: pre creation, but sexs a lot of it's for pleasure
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: for a lot of it. See, I'm not having no
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: more kids, so I don't know what you asking me
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: to do. But I'm in here clunding to the best
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: of my ability. I'm I'm showing out, but I can't
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? You know, so, I don't
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: know what to tell you your self. Bro. I know
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: she gonna have to do something though, because what you
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: can't do? You know, it's changed on this man and
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: have him sitting up in here now you didn't cut
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: him off. I don't know what you think he gonna do.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: But if he if he don't go down there and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: get the same same I don't converging you. He don't
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: get that. He gonna go somewhere else later. Everybody on
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: this show, ain't you Yeah, the COVID everybody been clumb
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't know why you try to drag these ladies
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: into She just stayed over here with me. MOUs Montavious
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: say that again in Baton Rouge Uh says, I got
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: my EMT certification and I need to move to a
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: bigger city to get a job. My girlfriend just had
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: a baby girl, and she doesn't want to leave our
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: hometown because she needs her mom's help with the baby.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to prepare a good future for my family,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: but she's tripping about me leaving. If I stay in town,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I could continue to manage the restaurant where I work,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: but that's not my dream. Do I make the sacrifice
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: for my girlfriend and stay, or do I make the
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: bigger sacrifice for my family and go. Well, you could
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: go ahead and get it all set up and then
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: when she get a little bit better handle on the baby,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: bring the family to you, and then you on weekends
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: of course, drive back. I don't know how far the
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: city is that you got to move to, because he's
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: in I don't know what city he is coming up.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day and at
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour, of course, hardly all right, guys,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: here we are at the end of the show, the
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: last break of the dare listening. Come on tomorrow weekend?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Come onbecum, won't come on? Come on? Yeah? Yeah, and
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: then I'll tell y'all Monday. No, you shouldn't tell me.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Go ahead, Did I tell y'all that I have been
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: granted two more seasons? Or Ready to love? That will
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: be shot in Washington, DC. That is a blessing congratulation.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: That is beautiful man. Yeah, that's big man for shore good.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: It's such a great show, it really is. Yeah, I
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: love hey, Tommy, what do you think is a success
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: of the show? You know, what I think is the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: fact that it's it's it's not your normal dating show.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: It's not people that's twenty years old and their life
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: just getting started. I think it's people that's thirties, forties, fifties.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: You know, they didn't they've been divorced, people that's been
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: career driven and they haven't taken time for up. And
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it's it's interesting to watch those kind of people. So
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: and you get to see black love at its best,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: and you get to see it for real, and you
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: get to see it hosted by you know what's truly
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: who's been taught by the best. Now what I say
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: it wrong? Since I've been talking Hello was one I say,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I know you're self conscious about it, but get it
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: pretty good. At that time, I was surprised, stunned. Actually, yeah,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: tell me a great job as host on the show
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and guiding them and leading them, you know, into the
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: different maneuvers and because every week they're presented with the
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: task they have to vote someone off, and you know,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: he guides them into telling them what he needs. Listener
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: on the show got all of them. Yeah, Tommy is
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a good listener on that show. That show. Lord, When
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: did that happen. It's so shocking to see it. I'd
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: be damn boy, that boy right here. I'd hit it
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: as hail. Yeah, but we got you. We got you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: with support. Watching very good and a lot of them,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you see why they're single, and a lot of them
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you're like wow, because when they first get on, they're
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: so beautiful or they're so handsome, and they're very successful,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and you're like wow, why you know, Yeah, and you're
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: talking for a minute. As a show goes on, you
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: get okay, yeah, well, lord Jesus hanging there. It's sad
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: when they get voted off. Some people do need to
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: get voted off. But yeah, there's a lot going on. No,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: watching a great show, Ready to love, but there's a
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: lot of serious things going on in the world too. Yeah.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: The President will meet with the Floyd family today at
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: the White House. Well, hey, you listen, y'all my clothing remarks.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'm just gonna replay something I said earlier that I
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: feel about them taking their time passing as George Floyd
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Bill here it is right here. Why is it that
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: black people have to constantly beg and march and plead
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: and ask for the same rights that you have. Y'all
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: need to quit acting like justice is pie. Like if
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: we get a big slice, that's less for yours. Justice
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: amet pie. Justice is a flavor, y'all won't even do
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: a simple act of give it to us. And why
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: you won't give it to us because your ass is
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: straight up racist, because you think the way you're treating
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: black people is sufficient for them. But if you were
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: getting treated the same way, you wouldn't accept it for yourself.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: You would never allow for your children to be murdered
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the way we got to watch our sons and fathers
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: and daughters and husbands and nephews and uncle was getting murdered.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: But you sit up here and there and you constantly
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: want to say America ain't racist, but you keep doing
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: racist stuff like this. You won't even pass a simple
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: act to give us a chance at justice, not for
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: the bigger slice of justice, but the same flavor that
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: y'all getting. We want the same damn spoon. Your ass
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: is eating your justice all for justice ain't pie, y'all.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Where if you give us a bigger slice, you get less.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: That ain't what this is. Justice is a flavor, and
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: we ain't been tasting the same thing since our ass
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: got here. And that's what we're sick of, and we're
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: sick and tired of it. And you're gonna keep messing round. Okay, now,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: let me tell you this here, you're gonna keep messing around. Man.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Black folks tired it is. Black folks is sick and
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: tired of being sick and tired. Were sick and tired
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: of you just sitting up in here, man, expecting us
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: to be patient? How much longer we got to wait?
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Why are we're waiting on justice? Yeah? Much? The constitution,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: the same constitution you got. Why are we different? We
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: built this country? Or you don't want to tell that
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: truth that will be in the history. But you that
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: to rewrite too much, with too many adventions. We've done
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: way too much for this country. You're not gonna tell
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that truth. Okay, So don't start talking about the truth. Okay. See,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: so let's just not talk about that for a minute.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Ain't about asking you for no damn reparations. Let's stop
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: that for a minute. Can we just get basic human
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: dignity and rights. Every story you hear is about a
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: black being treated unjust by the police. Ain't no stories
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: of white people getting killed at the hands of the
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: police unjustifiably, and stop using that little b s that
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: y'all talk about. It's just as many whites get shot
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: by police, not unjustifiably. It ain't so if it's more
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: whites being shot by police, that must mean it's more
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: white's committing crimes. But when it comes to unjustifiable desk,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: we are one hund in front of that and we're
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: sinking tie of y'all with this monkey mess. But I'll
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: tell you what, We're gonna keep voting. You watching C,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: You watching C. We didn't have enough for this here.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: You will never go back to what we were. We're
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: gonna vote all y'all out in a minute. All y'all
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: gonna be gonne here, last one of y'all. As long
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: as I got a mike, y'all gone. You're gonna get
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: a body, sir. Hey, that's it, y'all. I hope you
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: have a good one. Take care of yourself. Don't forget
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: talked to God. He'd love to hear from you. Bye
