Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest. Jesse Eisenberg stars in
- 0:04Speaker 1: his very first mini series, Fleischman Is in Trouble. After
- 0:07Speaker 1: quite a long and a steam career and film, he
- 0:09Speaker 1: realized soon after production began how different film and TV
- 0:12Speaker 1: are as storytelling mediums, and how much he had to
- 0:15Speaker 1: learn telling Slam magazine. I just kept thinking, these scenes
- 0:18Speaker 1: are so long, and I would be reassured that we're
- 0:21Speaker 1: making eight episodes. If you're doing a movie, if a
- 0:23Speaker 1: line doesn't serve a purpose, it's not in the movie.
- 0:25Speaker 1: With a mini series, there's side storyline. So I just
- 0:28Speaker 1: kept asking about it because I don't have experience in
- 0:31Speaker 1: that world. I thought it was great, but as an
- 0:33Speaker 1: actor I had to uncensor myself because normally every scene
- 0:36Speaker 1: is vital. There was a calmer approach to the structure.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I really liked it. It's very appealing, the words of
- 0:42Speaker 1: Jesse Eisenberg. Jesse had it makes TV characters so rich,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and he'd love to do it again. Fleischman Is in
- 0:47Speaker 1: Trouble is on Hulu that's direct from Hollywood.
