- 2:07Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Man oh man got a radio shop,
- 2:15Speaker 1: kid you not? Because this is coming purely from self experience, purely,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and it just happened to me. It just happened to
- 2:24Speaker 1: me just yesterday. I lived this on yesterday. You know,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was going through something that I've been going through
- 2:32Speaker 1: for a long long time and just weary of it all.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And I've been talking to God about it, and I
- 2:38Speaker 1: mean for for years though, for years, and I've been saying, Okay,
- 2:42Speaker 1: enough is enough, you know God, I'm really I'm really
- 2:46Speaker 1: tired and so what happened was I had had to
- 2:52Speaker 1: go through some more of it yesterday again in a situation.
- 2:56Speaker 1: But you but you know what um after it was over,
- 3:03Speaker 1: You know, I kind of laid in it for a
- 3:05Speaker 1: little while. You know how you've been going through something
- 3:07Speaker 1: for so long and then even if it's over, appears
- 3:10Speaker 1: to be over, you still kind of laying it a
- 3:13Speaker 1: little bit, and you know you have a while. Man,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I can't believe I've been dealing with this this long,
- 3:19Speaker 1: even though even though it's over, this is really good
- 3:23Speaker 1: for me. I don't know how you do it, but
- 3:25Speaker 1: this was so good for you for me. Have you
- 3:29Speaker 1: ever counted, Steve Harvey, how many times you made it?
- 3:34Speaker 1: And so that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's
- 3:37Speaker 1: what I did this morning when I woke up, was
- 3:39Speaker 1: getting ready, I was actually taking an inventory account of
- 3:45Speaker 1: how many times I made it. How many times man,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I didn't have the rent and somehow I came up
- 3:53Speaker 1: with it. How many times I didn't have my house
- 3:56Speaker 1: payment and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 4:00Speaker 1: times I was out of money, did not have enough,
- 4:02Speaker 1: didn't didn't see no way, but somehow I came up
- 4:06Speaker 1: with it. How many times I got sick? I thought, well, man,
- 4:12Speaker 1: this one right here, I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 4:14Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 4:22Speaker 1: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 4:26Speaker 1: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 4:37Speaker 1: I've been in, but he kept me. I made it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I think about even the simplest times of like stepping
- 4:44Speaker 1: off a curve and almost got hit, but I made it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I was just tripping the other day. I was I
- 4:50Speaker 1: was thinking about the times that I've been hit by
- 4:52Speaker 1: a car and it could have been worse, but it wasn't.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And I made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: when they count you out, do you know how many
- 5:01Speaker 1: times I've been counted out? He's done. He ain't gonna
- 5:06Speaker 1: be nothing, He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Look at over that they counsel as he offered that
- 5:13Speaker 1: he out of here, he ain't gonna make it. He
- 5:15Speaker 1: didn't got fired. Man, you know how many times I've
- 5:18Speaker 1: been counting out? You know how many times they didn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: wrote me off? How many times have you been written off? Man?
- 5:24Speaker 1: But here you still stand. You know you have a
- 5:25Speaker 1: tripped on it. Take an inventory, y'all of how many times?
- 5:30Speaker 1: Count the times you've made it? What about the times man,
- 5:34Speaker 1: when nobody was there to encourage you? But you still
- 5:37Speaker 1: here though you've tripped on that? Ain't nobody called you
- 5:41Speaker 1: and told you good day? No nobody called you and
- 5:43Speaker 1: told you recently thank you. No one's called you and
- 5:46Speaker 1: told you how much you meant to them, how much
- 5:48Speaker 1: you've done for them? A man, you can make it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Never give up. Keep your head up, man, keep grinding.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But you still here, even when nobody have you counted
- 5:56Speaker 1: the times man, that you made it? Anyway you count
- 6:01Speaker 1: at the times that you felt like quitting? How about
- 6:04Speaker 1: that one you felt like giving up you kept going?
- 6:09Speaker 1: How about the time this is a good one right here?
- 6:11Speaker 1: How about the times? Man? When when when when everybody
- 6:14Speaker 1: is standing around saying, ain't no way, ain't no way,
- 6:18Speaker 1: Steve Man, I can't tell you how any times I've
- 6:20Speaker 1: heard this ain't no way, And then somehow there is
- 6:23Speaker 1: a way. You know why, because he makes a way.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You understand, you know how many you know, how many
- 6:30Speaker 1: times I've heard this one right here, Steve, Listen to me, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: nobody ever before hasn't done that. You can't do that?
- 6:40Speaker 1: How many times you've heard no, you wan't? You know
- 6:43Speaker 1: anybody then done that? You can't do that? No one
- 6:47Speaker 1: has ever done that. I made it anyway? You know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: they don't normally or we don't normally allow this, but
- 7:00Speaker 1: in this case for you, we're gonna make an exception.
- 7:04Speaker 1: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm onto something? How many times have you heard in
- 7:11Speaker 1: your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally allow this,
- 7:17Speaker 1: but we're gonna make this exception in your case. How
- 7:21Speaker 1: many times you'ven't heard that? Have you ever counted the
- 7:27Speaker 1: times that you made it? You know everybody out accept me?
- 7:37Speaker 1: How how can that be? You know you're the only
- 7:41Speaker 1: one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man, I don't
- 7:46Speaker 1: I don't hardly see this too many times. But do
- 7:48Speaker 1: you realize that normally this is what happened to people.
- 7:51Speaker 1: But man, y'all don't know how your name came up,
- 7:54Speaker 1: but here you are. Wow, it never happens like that.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You have accounted those times I was doing it? Yesterday,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I was doing it this morning, I was just taking
- 8:04Speaker 1: an inventory everybody of how many times I've made it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So what I learned yesterday was when God gets you
- 8:12Speaker 1: through something, when he pulled you out on the other side,
- 8:16Speaker 1: no matter how difficult or how long it took. When
- 8:19Speaker 1: He gets you out on the other side, why don't
- 8:22Speaker 1: you get up, dust yourself off and started trotting what
- 8:27Speaker 1: you laying there for man wallowing in it, going over it,
- 8:32Speaker 1: recycling it in your mind. So many people can't move
- 8:35Speaker 1: forward because we keep recycling stuff in our minds when
- 8:42Speaker 1: clearly it's time to move on. It's time to let go.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It's time to go and see what God has for you.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Stop looking at what you lost. What you lost was
- 8:58Speaker 1: probably not yours to have in the first in the
- 9:03Speaker 1: first place. Do you know the things I've lost? I'm
- 9:10Speaker 1: not talking about losing the love of one or mother
- 9:12Speaker 1: or father, nothing like that. I'm talking about innate objects
- 9:16Speaker 1: or situation. Do you know the things I've lost? Man,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I look back on it. I wasn't supposed to have
- 9:21Speaker 1: him in the first place, or they was doing me
- 9:23Speaker 1: no good. I wasn't even what wouldn't mine to to lose,
- 9:26Speaker 1: But I claimed I lost it Come on, man, taking
- 9:29Speaker 1: inventory everybody. Start looking at the things man, that God
- 9:33Speaker 1: has brought you through. Start looking at how many times
- 9:35Speaker 1: He allowed you to make it, and get glad about
- 9:38Speaker 1: waking up in the morning. Man, Get glad about your life.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Start feeling something positive about your situation. You cannot expect
- 9:45Speaker 1: God to continue to bless you if you're not grateful
- 9:49Speaker 1: for the things that you have. Why would God sitting
- 9:52Speaker 1: down here looking at you upset, angry, laying in walla
- 10:01Speaker 1: of what you are not grateful for? You just can't
- 10:04Speaker 1: find the scene to find, no gratitude in your heart
- 10:07Speaker 1: about nothing, but you steady asking God for something. So
- 10:10Speaker 1: now you think God is crazy. You think He's gonna
- 10:12Speaker 1: give you some most stuff to not be grateful for.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Why would he do that. He's
- 10:19Speaker 1: too full of too much mercy to send you through that.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Over and over and over. The more I give my child,
- 10:25Speaker 1: the more ungrateful they are, the less gratitude they show.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But I'm gonna keep dumping it on them so they
- 10:30Speaker 1: can keep feeling ungrateful and show let of gratitude. Guy's
- 10:34Speaker 1: not gonna do that to you. Come on, man, have
- 10:38Speaker 1: you ever counted how many times you made it. I
- 10:44Speaker 1: can't count how many times God didn't got me through something.
- 10:48Speaker 1: But when he gets you through it, we can't get
- 10:50Speaker 1: up and get on about your business. Don't lay that
- 10:52Speaker 1: in it. It's over, it's done, you made it, you
- 10:54Speaker 1: survived it. Let's go. Let's go show. Ladies and gentlemen,

- 13:41Speaker 1: I have missed my call twice. Knoxville as knox Ashville, Tennessee,

- 14:13Speaker 1: He was missing every Monday days of work. No, no, no, no, no,
- 14:18Speaker 1: you used to miss every month. Okay, hold on, hold on,
- 14:23Speaker 1: we gotta do but we come back for thirty something funny.
- 14:26Speaker 1: We're just go and take a poll. Oh, we have
- 14:29Speaker 1: something else for you to Steve. Okay, we want to
- 14:31Speaker 1: take a short pole. Just show up pole. When we
- 14:33Speaker 1: come back, we'll be We're gonna sit here and just
- 14:35Speaker 1: a lot of we'll be right back. I ain't got
- 14:37Speaker 1: the lot. We're back at two after with questions for
- 14:40Speaker 1: Steve too. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show right now.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's time for something funny Steve. And before we do
- 14:48Speaker 1: that show, okay, I just want to take a poll.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Let's start with Carla. Yes, Between Tommy and your honest opinion,
- 14:59Speaker 1: who do you think has missed more days unexcused absence.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I'm not talking about vacation. I'm talking about calling. I
- 15:07Speaker 1: can't make it. I'm late, I ain't gonna be. Let's
- 15:11Speaker 1: let's just use yourself though. Hold on, hold, let's stop,
- 15:16Speaker 1: let's stop, let's move on. We've been doing this show
- 15:18Speaker 1: for thirteen years. Tommy nextes, Okay, we have Yeah, Tommy,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you've been the latest and you've missed Shirley. Would you
- 15:26Speaker 1: agree that Tommy has been later than more than anybody
- 15:29Speaker 1: on the show. Well, it's funny, Steve that you brought
- 15:31Speaker 1: up the Mondays, because remember my mom, who was an
- 15:34Speaker 1: having listener of our show, always said, well, it's Monday,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you know there don't count. Don't count Monday. Ain't before
- 15:43Speaker 1: other days took count. We're here on Mondays. Don't count Monday.
- 15:49Speaker 1: All right, I rest my case. What y'all got? We
- 15:51Speaker 1: have some fun questions for you, Steve. You know you
- 15:54Speaker 1: love it when we asked Steve. So this is part
- 15:56Speaker 1: of asked Steve and I have the first question, how
- 15:59Speaker 1: do you instantly no, instantly your instincts kick in. How
- 16:04Speaker 1: do you instantly know that someone is just an idiot?
- 16:08Speaker 1: How do I know somebody. It's usually by the center structure.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I usually know usually about you know, like if they're
- 16:19Speaker 1: talking in a paragraph about three sentences in if it
- 16:24Speaker 1: ain't connecting and you a person is talking to you
- 16:28Speaker 1: and in three sentences, you don't know what it's about.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You don't get an angle, or you can't figure out
- 16:36Speaker 1: a subject. You're talking to an idiot. Example, Man, this
- 16:43Speaker 1: is what I'm just trying to say. SENI fore y'all
- 16:46Speaker 1: say something, look a here already know what you'all gonna
- 16:49Speaker 1: do about this. So this is all I'm saying. And
- 16:53Speaker 1: and why is y'all feeling this way about it? And
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm sentire going, okay, okay, I don't have a subject.
- 17:06Speaker 1: It's not tied to anything. I don't know where the
- 17:10Speaker 1: hell this is going. This is an idiot, all right, Carla?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Come on? Next question? What items or products are found
- 17:22Speaker 1: only in a rich household? Oh? He can run, it's
- 17:26Speaker 1: gonna take the break right here. What okay? Say? Asked
- 17:29Speaker 1: me again? What items or products are only found in
- 17:33Speaker 1: a rich household or rich households? Oh? What do you
- 17:38Speaker 1: have in your house? Basically that we don't have, yea,
- 17:44Speaker 1: relics from high end stores For example, if you shop
- 17:50Speaker 1: at a Okay fix it mostly in rich people houses
- 17:58Speaker 1: is boxes from stores where when you walk in the store,
- 18:03Speaker 1: they only sell that one brand. Okay, you know Louis Vitton,
- 18:08Speaker 1: just saill Louis Verton, Gucci, just Seill Gucci. You walk
- 18:12Speaker 1: Stefinal Reach, you just sell Stefano Reaching. All their boxes
- 18:17Speaker 1: and closets has stuff in it from there. Okay, okay, okay. Boxes.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Also you'll have things that match that, like your cigar
- 18:34Speaker 1: case will match your shoes. I'll tell you another thing
- 18:45Speaker 1: you'll finding rich people's house furnishings are from brands that
- 18:51Speaker 1: you did not know offered furnishings. For example, there is
- 18:58Speaker 1: an office that is completely made by Bentley, the carboard,
- 19:06Speaker 1: the car people. So so there's Bentley furniture. That's Cindy
- 19:19Speaker 1: has furniture. Yeah, Findy has furniture. Findy makes televisions. What
- 19:30Speaker 1: Findy makes carpet. Yeah, that's some stuff that's in their
- 19:38Speaker 1: houses that you don't want my te from. Somebody make carpet.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I don't want to see. But Tommy, here's the deal.
- 19:46Speaker 1: When you look at it, it's not a television. Is
- 19:50Speaker 1: the carpet on the tvsion. No, it's not a television.
- 19:54Speaker 1: It's an alligator or Ostrich wrap mirror. Whoa boom, get
- 20:04Speaker 1: your life, and then when you cut it on, it
- 20:06Speaker 1: transforms into a television. When it's off, you have no idea.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Come on, okay, come on, you have one junior. Let's
- 20:17Speaker 1: go all right, this is ask Steve. We're just asking
- 20:23Speaker 1: you this. Okay, you know I got some scars, But
- 20:27Speaker 1: what scares do you have? And how did you get them? Like?
- 20:29Speaker 1: What would you? What did you do? I got one
- 20:32Speaker 1: scar that goes from right under the cup of my
- 20:38Speaker 1: butt down to the back of my knee. I got
- 20:43Speaker 1: that ain't number a little the claiming go ahead. I
- 20:45Speaker 1: got hung on the fence climbing it and you know
- 20:48Speaker 1: the little you know, a little chain link fences and
- 20:52Speaker 1: at the top of the fist they criss crossed with
- 20:54Speaker 1: the little points on. I got my thigh hung up
- 20:57Speaker 1: on that fence and fell off and ripped me from
- 21:01Speaker 1: my butt cheek down to the back of my knee.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Can you just say out that I got some stretch marks?
- 21:08Speaker 1: Oh but from play agin, I think we all have those.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I got stress marks. Surely has real stretch marks. Was
- 21:22Speaker 1: induceful and they and all I have all several things
- 21:29Speaker 1: that looks like black DUTs. That's book shot. Your body
- 21:33Speaker 1: is interesting sounding. Okay, you didn't get the coming up next? Uh,
- 21:44Speaker 1: it's nephew Tommy. Is his time to run that prank back.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And also you're going to get a question in for
- 21:49Speaker 1: your uncle and asked Steve. We'll be back right after this.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show coming up at the
- 21:57Speaker 1: top of the hour. You know, Mrs Anna is going
- 21:58Speaker 1: to be here with today's national news and it's time
- 22:02Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prankback. But before we
- 22:04Speaker 1: get to that, we started off the show with asking
- 22:07Speaker 1: Steve some fun questions just that we wanted to ask
- 22:10Speaker 1: him about. And nephew you you didn't get a chance
- 22:12Speaker 1: to ask yours. So now I got one. That's right,
- 22:14Speaker 1: that's right, I got one understaged. Let me sit up. Okay, yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: come on, what do you miss the most about being
- 22:22Speaker 1: a kid? Oh? Let's question? Yeah, ride my bike? Freedom?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Like how I felt ride my bike? Man standing up
- 22:37Speaker 1: on my pedals? Man, come on, man, got my tide on?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Now see this before your time tom Me, so just
- 22:46Speaker 1: stay out, just come say what you're by yourself? You
- 22:50Speaker 1: noticed that, doesn't y'all understand y'all y'all wasn't players in
- 22:54Speaker 1: the game? Y'all didn't know? Good question. Ask me what
- 22:57Speaker 1: I missed most about this fame? What I missed? What
- 23:01Speaker 1: I wish I could do? I wish I could go
- 23:04Speaker 1: to a movie. I wish I could go to a
- 23:06Speaker 1: movie man at a theater and just watch a movie
- 23:10Speaker 1: whenever I wanted to. And I wish I could go
- 23:13Speaker 1: and sit down in a food court because I used
- 23:17Speaker 1: to love people watching. Sit in the food court and
- 23:20Speaker 1: eat some damn pandixpread coordination, give me some pand express
- 23:32Speaker 1: and sit back. But be slumped in my seat and
- 23:34Speaker 1: had to play up against my chest. Be just eating
- 23:38Speaker 1: and watching people. But ain't nobody know me? Oh man,
- 23:41Speaker 1: those are the days, man, I missed that. All right, well,
- 23:47Speaker 1: we'll ask you more questions throughout the morning, Steed, But
- 23:49Speaker 1: right now it is time for the nephew to run
- 23:51Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got. We're gonna bounce and
- 23:54Speaker 1: check this morning, Sherton. That's what we're gonna do. You
- 23:56Speaker 1: bounced a check? It is hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 24:01Speaker 1: reach your Monica system. Monica. Please, this is Brother de Sean.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I'm calling Actually I'm a member of Greater Commissionary Baptist Church.
- 24:11Speaker 1: How can I help you? Calling you actually about the offering? Now?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Did you? I know you paid your ties Sunday? Okay?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Now you paid a love offering as well? Right? Okay,
- 24:23Speaker 1: now this past Sunday. Um, I'm looking at a check
- 24:26Speaker 1: that you left us with the bank, right, right, I
- 24:29Speaker 1: sure did. I wrote a check Sunday. Okay. Now the check,
- 24:33Speaker 1: ma'am was two hundred and fifty? Am I correct? Right? Right?
- 24:37Speaker 1: I wrote two checks for my ties and the love offering. Right,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I wrote one for two fifty for the love offering? Okay?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me?
- 24:47Speaker 1: What I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 24:49Speaker 1: to be a bar of bad news, but you your
- 24:52Speaker 1: check that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And wait a minute, you said my check bound for
- 24:59Speaker 1: two fifty. Your check bound. So what I'm doing is
- 25:03Speaker 1: calling you about recouping the two fifth as well as
- 25:06Speaker 1: you know you you cost us thirty dollars uh in
- 25:11Speaker 1: bank fees. Now I wrote two checks. I wrote a
- 25:14Speaker 1: check for a hundred dollars did that one bound? I
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't see to it that that that one bound. All
- 25:19Speaker 1: I know is the one that the love offering has bounced.
- 25:21Speaker 1: What did you put him in at the same time?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Because I wrote him at the same time. They all
- 25:25Speaker 1: go in on Monday, ma'am. Now I didn't put them
- 25:28Speaker 1: in at the same time. I've been putting them in
- 25:29Speaker 1: for the last two or three years. The problem is
- 25:32Speaker 1: why would people right there? Brother Shaun was I don't
- 25:38Speaker 1: think it matters. And when I was there, man, the
- 25:40Speaker 1: problem is it that I didn't put these checks in.
- 25:42Speaker 1: And I don't understand why y'all write these checks to
- 25:45Speaker 1: the track knowing that they're gonna bound. There's a lot
- 25:48Speaker 1: of people right well, why the other one didn't clear?
- 25:53Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't have enough money for both of them
- 25:55Speaker 1: to clear? What what did you say? Maybe you didn't
- 25:59Speaker 1: have enough money in the bank for both of them
- 26:00Speaker 1: the clip. And I don't understand why people in the
- 26:03Speaker 1: bank at all? My checks clear. I don't write no
- 26:07Speaker 1: rubber checks. Well you wrote one on Sunday, and that's
- 26:09Speaker 1: the problem. How are you gonna try to give a look?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I think you got me confused with
- 26:14Speaker 1: somebody else. I don't write no bad checks you wrote
- 26:17Speaker 1: to you. I'm trying to be nice to you. When
- 26:19Speaker 1: can we expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars?
- 26:22Speaker 1: So that's the bank fees, ma'am for the doll gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: check bouncing? My check didn't bounce. I don't check my bank.
- 26:30Speaker 1: And if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty
- 26:32Speaker 1: dollars for calling me harassing me about a two hundred
- 26:35Speaker 1: and fifty dollar check bounce. I don't write no Why
- 26:38Speaker 1: would you write check? What you want to? Sit up
- 26:40Speaker 1: in the church and write these big number checks when
- 26:42Speaker 1: you know you ain't got it in the bank. I said,
- 26:46Speaker 1: why would you write these checks when the money ain't
- 26:48Speaker 1: in there? Let me tell you one thing. I don't
- 26:51Speaker 1: write no bad checks. And you got a lots calling
- 26:55Speaker 1: me telling me my check bounce. Y'all, check is the
- 26:57Speaker 1: one that has bound. And you tell you what you
- 26:59Speaker 1: do since my check bounce, you paid them, since you
- 27:02Speaker 1: got all the money, And don't call me with this again. Hello,
- 27:09Speaker 1: don't you hang up on me no more? When don't?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Why don't we gonna get this two fifty and this
- 27:13Speaker 1: thirty dollars? Somebody from the church to my eye, wrote
- 27:17Speaker 1: a bad check. Check. I didn't write no bad Yes,
- 27:23Speaker 1: why are you calling me? Why the treaser don't call
- 27:26Speaker 1: me at church? The tras iss I ain't never know
- 27:29Speaker 1: the deacon called nobody about no bad check. You're fully
- 27:34Speaker 1: thank you? You got the money I ain't got. Who
- 27:38Speaker 1: is that in the background? Who is that for mine?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Who it is? We're both going to the same church,
- 27:42Speaker 1: and you're gonna call me to my I wrote a
- 27:44Speaker 1: bad check. You don't you call me no more? And
- 27:47Speaker 1: if the check bads, you paid? Okay, keep passed to
- 27:50Speaker 1: know you're talking like this. You passed to know you're
- 27:53Speaker 1: calling me? Can you after that? Look? When are we
- 27:56Speaker 1: gonna get this? Two eight dollars is what we're looking
- 27:58Speaker 1: for from you? I wrote a check for two fifties
- 28:01Speaker 1: and not get to eighty. You you put two fifty
- 28:06Speaker 1: in there. It bounced. Thirty dollars cost us on bake fees.
- 28:09Speaker 1: That's to eighty. Where can the church expect their money? Never?
- 28:14Speaker 1: Not no to eight? You will never get to eight.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You're gonna make me come by your and my check
- 28:18Speaker 1: in what you say, I'm gonna do what you're gonna
- 28:21Speaker 1: make me come by your house and get this money.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Bring it, bring it, bring it. What is the address
- 28:27Speaker 1: on this check? Check? I got it off the check.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I bet you you'll be living back and I'm watching you.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You bet not be spending no money nowhere. You bet
- 28:36Speaker 1: not spend nothing until I get this two fifty plus
- 28:39Speaker 1: thirty whatever. I want to know you don't you know
- 28:42Speaker 1: what I am? And you don't call me no more
- 28:44Speaker 1: with this because my check did not bounce. I don't
- 28:47Speaker 1: see how one check went through and the other bound.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Let me say this to you, we cannot accept you
- 28:52Speaker 1: back into the House of the Lord no more until
- 28:56Speaker 1: you are not. Don't you come in and sunday until
- 28:58Speaker 1: we get on there. And I'm gonna make sure I
- 29:02Speaker 1: find your because you the person I want to see you.
- 29:05Speaker 1: And you know what, I'm gonna call the pastor right
- 29:07Speaker 1: now and asked him because I don't believe my check bounce.
- 29:10Speaker 1: You feel Let me say this, before you called pastor,
- 29:13Speaker 1: I got no, I'm a called pastor. No. You should
- 29:15Speaker 1: have talked with pastor before you call me with this information.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say. You
- 29:20Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to say to me. You don't upset me.
- 29:22Speaker 1: With this I'm talking about I bounced a check. You
- 29:25Speaker 1: should have went to pastor before you call me with you.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I tall pastor one I got, but I got one
- 29:30Speaker 1: more thing to say before I leave that you're listening,
- 29:33Speaker 1: What are you about to say to me? What do
- 29:35Speaker 1: you have to say now that you're gonna pay the check?
- 29:37Speaker 1: This is Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Martyn Show.
- 29:42Speaker 1: You just got pragged by your girlfriend? What did you say? Baby?
- 29:50Speaker 1: This is what did you say? I'd say? This is
- 29:55Speaker 1: Nephew tell me, baby, brother Steve Harvey Morning to Show.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Your girlfriend has franked you. She just left. Let me
- 30:10Speaker 1: ask you one more thing though, baby, what is the
- 30:12Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land? Steve Harvey? I don't
- 30:22Speaker 1: need your listen? Did I go too far? Every time?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Every time? All right? Thank you? Never coming up at
- 30:30Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Miss Anna is gonna be
- 30:32Speaker 1: here with our national news and we're going to talk
- 30:34Speaker 1: about this survey, UH concerning the Second Amendment. One in
- 30:38Speaker 1: five Americans once the Second Amendment repealed. You're listening to
- 30:44Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Retired Supreme Court Justice John
- 30:50Speaker 1: Paul Stephen. Steve published an opinion editorial and up ed
- 30:54Speaker 1: in the New York Times titled repeal the Second Amendment,
- 30:57Speaker 1: But according to a recent poll, he'll have to change
- 31:00Speaker 1: a lot of minds to get that done. Back in February,
- 31:03Speaker 1: the Economists and you gov asked Americans if they supported
- 31:07Speaker 1: such a proposal. Said they were okay with repealing the
- 31:11Speaker 1: Second Amendment, but sixty percent said they were opposed to
- 31:15Speaker 1: such a plan. Now, if you break the poll down
- 31:17Speaker 1: further and reveals it reveals that thirty of Democrats support
- 31:21Speaker 1: a repeal, but only eight percent of Republicans support such
- 31:25Speaker 1: a complete repeal. I'm I don't see any surprise here.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I mean, you know nothing. It's all tied to money, folks.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's nothing else. It's just money and profit, and they
- 31:40Speaker 1: care more about that than they care about the lives
- 31:42Speaker 1: of these people who are being gunned down. The Second
- 31:46Speaker 1: Amendment was written when people had must get guns. You
- 31:52Speaker 1: could file for around every thirty forty seconds, that is automatic.
- 32:00Speaker 1: They have assault weapons out here now, from stock magazines,
- 32:05Speaker 1: military style assault lifers to assault and now you have
- 32:11Speaker 1: to make some amendments. I don't think they should repeal it.
- 32:15Speaker 1: That's gonna be too hard of a war. But they've
- 32:18Speaker 1: got to amend it greatly. This constitution is too old,
- 32:25Speaker 1: it's dated. If you put back everything in the Constitution
- 32:31Speaker 1: that was originally there, people would be flabbergas. First of all, y'all,
- 32:36Speaker 1: women could not vote, Black people could not vote. Then
- 32:45Speaker 1: when you did count for anything, the black person was
- 32:50Speaker 1: considered three fifths of a human being. That's in your constitution.
- 32:56Speaker 1: That's that damn piece of paper they keep hanging on
- 32:58Speaker 1: to like it's a Bible of some Yeah, so the
- 33:03Speaker 1: amendment needs an addendum, amending amending. YEA, absolutely right, because
- 33:10Speaker 1: it's not gonna happen. But I mean some change I'm
- 33:14Speaker 1: definitely needed. But you know, I don't see I just
- 33:17Speaker 1: don't see it happening. And I'm not being pessimistic or anything.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I just don't see it see it happening, because you know,
- 33:23Speaker 1: they fiercely, fiercely protect the Second Amendment more than it
- 33:26Speaker 1: seems any other amendment or any anything in the Constitution,
- 33:30Speaker 1: because this is the amendment that's tied to their profit
- 33:34Speaker 1: and their power, and nothing, nothing means more to them
- 33:41Speaker 1: than their profit and their power. Not loss of life,
- 33:46Speaker 1: not school shootings, not church shootings, not not theater shootings,
- 33:53Speaker 1: not massive shootings up at event in Vegas. Nothing matters
- 34:00Speaker 1: more to them than their power and their profit, and
- 34:04Speaker 1: they will prove it to you. You can quit talking
- 34:07Speaker 1: to these men because they've not given that up. Is
- 34:11Speaker 1: it safe to say it's gonna happen. It just won't
- 34:14Speaker 1: happen til maybe the millennials take over. I think it
- 34:16Speaker 1: will happen once they take over. Oh, these millennials are
- 34:19Speaker 1: going to make some changes. But it's gonna be a
- 34:22Speaker 1: dog fight. Yeah, it's gonna be a dog fight. All right, Steve,
- 34:27Speaker 1: we gotta move on. Miss Anne is here. Please introduce you,
- 34:30Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, without further ado ms and yeah, Steve
- 34:42Speaker 1: so crazy. Thank you very much, everybody. Good morning. This
- 34:45Speaker 1: is a troop with the news. Okay, let's get serious.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Funeral services are being held later today in Sacramento, California
- 34:52Speaker 1: for Stefan Clark. Reverend Al Sharpton is going to be
- 34:55Speaker 1: delivering the eulogy. Stefan Clark is a twenty three year
- 34:57Speaker 1: old father who was shot to death and his grandparents
- 35:00Speaker 1: the backyard by white cops who say they thought he
- 35:03Speaker 1: was the man reportedly breaking into car windows and that
- 35:05Speaker 1: they thought he had a gun, they shot Stephan Clark
- 35:08Speaker 1: twenty times. It turns out that Clark was merely holding
- 35:11Speaker 1: a cell phone. Sacramento Police Chief Daniel Hahn is the
- 35:14Speaker 1: first African American to hold a post of of chief
- 35:17Speaker 1: and Sacramento. He's asked the California Attorney General's office to
- 35:20Speaker 1: play an independent role in the investigation. New York Congresswoman
- 35:24Speaker 1: Nitya of Alaska says that the Trump administration's idea of
- 35:26Speaker 1: adding a question on citizenship on the upcoming census of
- 35:30Speaker 1: the political plot. The congressman says asking people about their
- 35:33Speaker 1: immigration and status is gonna scare certain people into not
- 35:36Speaker 1: answering and then drive down the population numbers, and that
- 35:39Speaker 1: will lead to New York and so many other states Texas,
- 35:42Speaker 1: California and others losing federal funding and seats in Congress.
- 35:45Speaker 1: So that's why Alaska says, the situation so serious. We
- 35:48Speaker 1: are going to fight this in the streets, We're going
- 35:52Speaker 1: to fight this in the courts, and we are going
- 35:55Speaker 1: to fight this in the youth. Representative Alaska's is already
- 35:59Speaker 1: co sponsoring a bill that would require the U. S.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Commerce Department they other people who handle this sense of
- 36:03Speaker 1: stuff to get congressional approval before changing the census questionnaire.
- 36:07Speaker 1: The tri administration has put an end to a program
- 36:10Speaker 1: that allowed as many as four thousand librarians to legally
- 36:13Speaker 1: reside in the United States. The cancelation of the program
- 36:16Speaker 1: was called a Deferred Enhanced Departure Program, or d e D.
- 36:19Speaker 1: It affects not only the thousands of d e D holders,
- 36:22Speaker 1: but also, of course, their families, some of whom have
- 36:24Speaker 1: lived in the U s and c early nineties because
- 36:27Speaker 1: of the civil wars and raged in that African country
- 36:29Speaker 1: four decades. Beneficiaries of the program now have twelve months
- 36:33Speaker 1: to leave the country. Many say they have very little
- 36:36Speaker 1: to go back to, maybe very little, and their children
- 36:39Speaker 1: have never even known the country. The former Subway Sandwich
- 36:42Speaker 1: pitchman Jarrett Fogles in the news again focals trying to
- 36:45Speaker 1: get out of jail. He argues that his conviction on
- 36:48Speaker 1: child pornography charges was based, he says, on an illegal
- 36:51Speaker 1: conspiracy charge and should be thrown out. Jared Fogle is
- 36:55Speaker 1: serving a fifteen year, eight months sentence after pleading guilty
- 36:58Speaker 1: to distributing child pornography fee UH and traveling for paid
- 37:01Speaker 1: sex with miners. The people of Facebook working on ways
- 37:04Speaker 1: to keep users information private. First of all, that can
- 37:07Speaker 1: users can now see which data of theirs is being shared,
- 37:10Speaker 1: and they can now either delete their information or prevented
- 37:12Speaker 1: from being shared. A white woman in South Africa sentenced
- 37:15Speaker 1: to two years in prison for racially abusing a black
- 37:18Speaker 1: police officer verbally authority day. The copp was trying to
- 37:21Speaker 1: help her after a car was burglarise, and her racist
- 37:24Speaker 1: rant was caught on video and widely circulate on social media.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Prosecutes calling the prison sentence verbal racism on precedent of
- 37:30Speaker 1: the woman says she intends to appeal. Finally, today is

- 41:38Speaker 1: we'll get serious when we come back. You're listening to
- 41:40Speaker 1: the Steven Show. Well, Tuesday, the Louisiana Attorney General of
- 41:45Speaker 1: Louisiana said um that the two Baton Rouge police officers
- 41:49Speaker 1: will not be prosecuted for shooting and killing thirty seven
- 41:52Speaker 1: year old Alton Sterling back in two thousand sixteen. You
- 41:56Speaker 1: remember that story, Steve, when the Alton Sterling was standing
- 41:59Speaker 1: out side of the liquor store selling CDs and stuff
- 42:05Speaker 1: and that, Uh yeah, here we go again. I mean, yeah,
- 42:15Speaker 1: this cannot be our norm. You know, we cannot become desensitized. Yeah,
- 42:22Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. All right. Well, then
- 42:25Speaker 1: yesterday a group of protesters took over the Sacramento City
- 42:29Speaker 1: Council meeting, which was held to let residents voice their
- 42:31Speaker 1: concerns about the death of Stefan Clark, the two year
- 42:35Speaker 1: old unarmed man who was shot by police on March eighteen.
- 42:39Speaker 1: During the meeting, Clark's brother, Stevante Clark, jumped up on
- 42:43Speaker 1: the council member's table and demanded to speak. He led
- 42:47Speaker 1: a chance of his brother's name, Stefan Clark, Stefan Clark
- 42:50Speaker 1: they were saying, and expressed his doubts that anything would
- 42:54Speaker 1: be done to seek justice for the officers who shot
- 42:56Speaker 1: his brother. Now, the California Attorney General will invest gave
- 43:00Speaker 1: this shooting. I think the chief of police call them
- 43:02Speaker 1: in so they can oversee you know, what they were
- 43:05Speaker 1: doing as far as this case is concerned. Yeah, here
- 43:09Speaker 1: we go again. Look until that has to be laws
- 43:16Speaker 1: put in place for police officers who murder people in
- 43:22Speaker 1: the line of duty. See, but see what they keep
- 43:26Speaker 1: Here's what they're getting us at. In the line of
- 43:29Speaker 1: duty simply means what is supposed to mean in the
- 43:35Speaker 1: in the line of doing your job, your duty as
- 43:37Speaker 1: a police officer. What they're interpreting at is when a
- 43:42Speaker 1: police officer kills you in the line of duty, it
- 43:45Speaker 1: just simply means if he if he was at work. Yeah,
- 43:49Speaker 1: that's all its meaning, right, Yeah, if he was at work,
- 43:54Speaker 1: he's killed you in the line of duty. All an
- 43:58Speaker 1: officer has to say, was he felt threatened, feared for
- 44:02Speaker 1: his life? I thought it was a gun. But here's
- 44:06Speaker 1: the problem. Where is the halt? Show me your hands?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Hard for him to shoot with a cell phone. If
- 44:18Speaker 1: you hop out some instructions, put your hands in the
- 44:21Speaker 1: air where we can see them, get on your knees,
- 44:26Speaker 1: put your hands behind your head. You don't have to
- 44:28Speaker 1: shoot him in But if you're going in the backyard
- 44:32Speaker 1: to shoot the black target that you've been practicing on
- 44:36Speaker 1: on the range, because all the targets is on white
- 44:40Speaker 1: paper with black silhouettes, and everything is to kill shot.
- 44:45Speaker 1: So we're not apprehending nobody. We don't apprehend black people, no, sir, no, no,
- 44:51Speaker 1: we kill black people and arrest all others. But what
- 44:58Speaker 1: you do here is turn your microphone off. That's what
- 45:01Speaker 1: you do, muture mic so they don't hear the truth.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Come on, man, that's cover up. You know. They pay
- 45:14Speaker 1: and they pay more attention to the President's sleeping with
- 45:17Speaker 1: the pawn star and the playboy bunny. They try to
- 45:20Speaker 1: get to the bottom of that mode and they do
- 45:22Speaker 1: these killing yeah yeah, hello, yeah, sad, But truth, Steve, No,
- 45:28Speaker 1: it's it's a damn shame. It's a damn shame, and
- 45:34Speaker 1: it's happening to no one else, and far too frequently
- 45:39Speaker 1: it's happening to no one else. You're absolutely right over
- 45:45Speaker 1: and and and we all have a right to be outraged.
- 45:49Speaker 1: We do. We have a right to be outraged. This
- 45:52Speaker 1: is not going to change until two things happened. The
- 45:56Speaker 1: police have to be outraged with their own behavior, and
- 46:01Speaker 1: a lot of white people are going to have to
- 46:04Speaker 1: be outraged. Slavery didn't stop being slavery because black people
- 46:10Speaker 1: was tired of being a slave. Yes, yeah, all right, Uh,
- 46:15Speaker 1: coming up, we're gonna switch gears again. Nephew Tommy has
- 46:18Speaker 1: a prank phone call coming up right after this. You're
- 46:21Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 46:25Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 46:28Speaker 1: It's Today's Strawberry Letter, the subject, I don't have time
- 46:31Speaker 1: for these games. I don't, but right now it is
- 46:35Speaker 1: time for the nephew and his prank phone call. We
- 46:37Speaker 1: certainly have time for that. What you got, nev, Your
- 46:40Speaker 1: wife is having a black baby, man? She black? Not right?
- 46:50Speaker 1: I'm confused. Your wife is having a black Get on board.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Do you remember that scene? In life when they were
- 47:05Speaker 1: holding that baby. I'll been locked up before. You ain't
- 47:16Speaker 1: gonna probably make no adjustment. Dean Bernie back Bernie was classic.
- 47:24Speaker 1: It is your wife having a black baby. Hello. Hello,
- 47:29Speaker 1: I'm looking for a William. How you doing? Listen? My
- 47:35Speaker 1: name is Simmons. I was I don't know how to uh.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Oh man. My wife and I evidently go to the
- 47:43Speaker 1: same um fertility specialists that you and your wife go to.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Dr Doctor. You know, are you familiar with doctor? I'm
- 47:51Speaker 1: familiar with doctor, but as supposed to be confidential. Yeah,
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'm aware of that as well, sir. My wife is
- 47:56Speaker 1: out on business right now. She's she's gone for I
- 47:59Speaker 1: won't be back until Tuesday. But I got a call today,
- 48:03Speaker 1: very disturbing phone call, and wanted to you know, I
- 48:06Speaker 1: looked your number up. They did tell me what was
- 48:08Speaker 1: going on and kind of somebody told you my number
- 48:12Speaker 1: you got you got my number from somebody. No, I
- 48:14Speaker 1: looked up your number here here here it is the
- 48:19Speaker 1: nutshell My wife and I evidently you you and you
- 48:21Speaker 1: and your wife have been going through the same type
- 48:23Speaker 1: of problems of trying to get pregnant and so forth
- 48:26Speaker 1: and so on and uh for my understanding, your wife
- 48:29Speaker 1: is what four or five months pregnant? I'm not sure.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Wait a minute, my wife is exactly five months pregnant.
- 48:36Speaker 1: But I'm still confused on how you're getting in touch
- 48:38Speaker 1: with me and what this has to do with me. Well,
- 48:40Speaker 1: I mean, all this stuff that we've gone through is
- 48:42Speaker 1: totally confidential, and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I understand that. Well, what's what's happening is, um, I
- 48:48Speaker 1: got a phone call from the doctor's office today. It
- 48:50Speaker 1: seems like there's been a huge mistake by the doctor's office.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Evidently your wife has been artificially inseminated with my seed.
- 49:01Speaker 1: And I was I mean, I'm just as disturbed as
- 49:06Speaker 1: you are. You know what I mean, because I mean
- 49:08Speaker 1: me and my wife. You know, my wife is two
- 49:10Speaker 1: months pregnant, and finally, how can they do something like that?
- 49:14Speaker 1: I mean that that doesn't make any sense. So I
- 49:16Speaker 1: have no idea. All I know is is that, you know,
- 49:20Speaker 1: I hate to use the expression, but I'm I'm I'm
- 49:24Speaker 1: your wife's baby's daddy. And and no, okay, wait a minute, no, no, no, no, up,
- 49:34Speaker 1: that that didn't happen. That doesn't happen no way. So
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to make sure I bring the news to
- 49:39Speaker 1: you and see if there's anything that we can do
- 49:40Speaker 1: to I mean, I mean, after being five months pregnant
- 49:43Speaker 1: is kind of hard to rectify the problem. So Okay,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I don't want this to sound rude, and I don't
- 49:47Speaker 1: want to sound wrong. You said, baby daddy, are you black? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 1: yeah yeah black? And my wife is gonna have a
- 49:56Speaker 1: black baby. Well yeah, your wife, he is gonna have
- 49:58Speaker 1: a black baby. But what I want you to know
- 50:00Speaker 1: is I'm not paying no support. That's what you're about
- 50:04Speaker 1: child support, and my wife is having some of the
- 50:07Speaker 1: Blackfrid's kid. Are you crazy? No, I'm not out. No,
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'm not out of my mind. I'm just saying I
- 50:14Speaker 1: didn't lay down and conceive a child with your with
- 50:17Speaker 1: your wife. So I'm making sure I'm not going to
- 50:20Speaker 1: be paying enough child support. But I'm not even worried
- 50:22Speaker 1: about the child support. I'll pay the talk support. I'm
- 50:25Speaker 1: worried about some doctor making a huge mistake. And and
- 50:29Speaker 1: and oh my god, your wife is having going to
- 50:33Speaker 1: have a black baby. I can't believe that this is unbelievable, believable,
- 50:37Speaker 1: And I can't believe you to give me the doctor
- 50:41Speaker 1: should give me this? What don't you want it? It
- 50:44Speaker 1: doesn't matter who gives you the news, as long as
- 50:46Speaker 1: you get the news. Now what I want you to
- 50:48Speaker 1: do with this? Please don't be giving the baby no
- 50:50Speaker 1: white names and stuff white. I can't believe that. This
- 50:56Speaker 1: is incredible, incredible, Oh my god, oh calling me, I'm
- 51:02Speaker 1: trying to give me that. I'm ready to go crazy.
- 51:05Speaker 1: This is crazy. Okay, this, this is this is no
- 51:08Speaker 1: reason to be violent, sir. You see what I'm saying
- 51:11Speaker 1: that's already made to be violent. You're worried about me,
- 51:13Speaker 1: about paying child support and talking about your seed and
- 51:17Speaker 1: your baby's daddy. And oh man, this is this is
- 51:20Speaker 1: bringing the best out of me. I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Let me let me ask you something, sir. Do you
- 51:27Speaker 1: think you may need angle management? I mean, you're not
- 51:29Speaker 1: gonna are you're gonna You're not gonna You're not gonna
- 51:33Speaker 1: beat my child? Are you? Oh? Man? Do you know
- 51:40Speaker 1: how to push man's buttons? I can promise you, man,
- 51:42Speaker 1: that's crazy. No, I ain't gonna beat nobody's baby. I
- 51:46Speaker 1: don't want you being violent to me and your wife's baby,
- 51:52Speaker 1: spend this thing around? Huh man, what do you live? Man?
- 51:56Speaker 1: This is this? Because? Oh man, well here's what I'm
- 52:02Speaker 1: gonna ask. Do you think you might want to be
- 52:04Speaker 1: the godfather to the child to my own kid? No?
- 52:10Speaker 1: If I guess, it wouldn't be my kid, because there's
- 52:12Speaker 1: me and your wife's child. Don't you say that, you crazy?
- 52:16Speaker 1: Don't you say that I even thinking about something like that.
- 52:22Speaker 1: It's me talk about something like that, but it's me
- 52:24Speaker 1: and your wife's child. So don't you even talk like that.
- 52:29Speaker 1: You're crazy? Tear a hole in your head. Don't you
- 52:32Speaker 1: talk like that? Okay, okay, you're gonna tell a hold
- 52:35Speaker 1: and who hey, in your head? You're crazy? See that?
- 52:37Speaker 1: This is this is the kind of thing. I don't
- 52:41Speaker 1: want my child around this time, this type of talk,
- 52:45Speaker 1: this type of violence to your wife. Folks getting mad
- 52:47Speaker 1: and want to kill everybody in the room? What you kill?
- 52:49Speaker 1: Who you mad at? Why do y'all do that? This? Man?
- 52:54Speaker 1: Can I can? I? Can? I say one more thing?
- 52:56Speaker 1: Do you can I do that? I don't I I
- 53:00Speaker 1: can take any more news to me? Man jumped to
- 53:02Speaker 1: the phone. I got one more thing to say to you.
- 53:04Speaker 1: This is nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 53:08Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your wife. Oh, I'm gonna
- 53:18Speaker 1: kill that man. Oh it took a song and try
- 53:23Speaker 1: to get play a game like this. That's wrong. Got me, man,
- 53:27Speaker 1: you freaking got me? Man. Yeah, we listened to Steve
- 53:30Speaker 1: Harvey radio show all the time. Man, that's awesome. Guys

- 53:59Speaker 1: many words. But did you like it? Though? Yeah? I'm
- 54:04Speaker 1: gonna pray for you though I am. They're praying for
- 54:07Speaker 1: me all over the hard harder. How do you like
- 54:11Speaker 1: something you got to pray for because it's funny. I
- 54:15Speaker 1: don't know, man, You don't be nervous and none. He
- 54:18Speaker 1: just had public just shopping, that's his job. I'd be
- 54:21Speaker 1: nervous in public. I'd be nervous. I had a few
- 54:24Speaker 1: people run up on me to run up you have
- 54:28Speaker 1: a feel like coming. You have a field one. Yeah, yeah, nothing,
- 54:34Speaker 1: but I have a kid better than that. You have

- 56:50Speaker 1: I don't have time for these games. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:55Speaker 1: My husband and I have been married for eleven years,
- 56:58Speaker 1: and one of our main problems his fourteen year old daughter,
- 57:02Speaker 1: my stepdaughter, to put it nicely. She is a liar
- 57:06Speaker 1: and a manipulator. I have always treated her as if
- 57:10Speaker 1: she was my own child, and honestly, I treated her
- 57:13Speaker 1: better than her own mother does. I often made sacrifices
- 57:16Speaker 1: to make sure she has what she needs and wants.
- 57:20Speaker 1: My issue is, as long as I was spending my money,
- 57:24Speaker 1: she loved me to death. The moment I told her
- 57:26Speaker 1: no and I had to discipline her, she turned on me.
- 57:30Speaker 1: It's March and this child has not spoken to me
- 57:34Speaker 1: since December. She even put a very hurtful post about
- 57:38Speaker 1: me on her Facebook page. I showed the Facebook post
- 57:41Speaker 1: to her daddy and he blew me off. Now he
- 57:44Speaker 1: allows her to walk around our house and not speak
- 57:47Speaker 1: to me. If I say anything to her, she acts
- 57:49Speaker 1: as though I don't exist. She recently texted her daddy
- 57:53Speaker 1: lies about me, and he had the nerve to come
- 57:55Speaker 1: home and blow up at me. She's daddy's baby. Then
- 58:00Speaker 1: now I have just checked out and when it comes
- 58:02Speaker 1: when it comes to her, I have blocked her number
- 58:04Speaker 1: in my phone, and when she comes to our house,
- 58:07Speaker 1: I stay in my room. My husband doesn't understand why
- 58:10Speaker 1: I'm so upset. I feel used and disrespected. How can
- 58:14Speaker 1: I resolve this issue and get my husband to see
- 58:16Speaker 1: the truth. I'm at the end of my rope. Please help. Yeah,
- 58:21Speaker 1: this is a bunch of disrespect right here, and it's
- 58:26Speaker 1: it's on her part, the fourteen year old. You shouldn't
- 58:28Speaker 1: be in this kind of a uh you know, a
- 58:32Speaker 1: standoff and impass with a fourteen year old child. You
- 58:35Speaker 1: shouldn't be. You're a grown woman. You've been married to
- 58:37Speaker 1: her dad, your husband for eleven years. It's time for
- 58:41Speaker 1: him to step up and be a man and put
- 58:43Speaker 1: his fourteen year old daughter in her place and let
- 58:45Speaker 1: her know that she has no right or reason to
- 58:48Speaker 1: be disrespecting you, because as long as he lets it
- 58:51Speaker 1: go on, she feels you know, um, she has a
- 58:55Speaker 1: right to continue to disrespect you. So you don't have
- 58:58Speaker 1: to play her games. You saved you don't you say
- 59:00Speaker 1: you don't have time for these games. Don't play her games.
- 59:03Speaker 1: That's not just her dad's house, is your house too,
- 59:06Speaker 1: So you have to let her know that when she
- 59:08Speaker 1: comes to the house, she has to speak, not be
- 59:10Speaker 1: disrespectful to you and you you need to have a
- 59:13Speaker 1: conversation with your husband. I mean a conversation, not one
- 59:17Speaker 1: where you blow up and get mad and all of that.
- 59:19Speaker 1: You gotta tell him. You know, this is your house,
- 59:21Speaker 1: and you guys have to present a united front to
- 59:24Speaker 1: this fourteen year old child. How is she able to
- 59:28Speaker 1: just walk around your house and and do all these things?
- 59:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's completely disrespectful. You gotta let her know.
- 59:33Speaker 1: You gotta let him know, and you guys got to
- 59:36Speaker 1: talk about this situation and put this fourteen year old
- 59:38Speaker 1: child in a child's place where she should be. Steve,
- 59:43Speaker 1: you know, this is simply when adults have allowed a
- 59:48Speaker 1: child to get away with something and act a certain
- 59:53Speaker 1: way without consequence. Far too long she fourteen? Who does this?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: First of all, I know exactly where you're coming from
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: with this. As long as you're spending money, you cool.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: But then you don't. I've seen that before. But let
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: me help you out with a couple of things. First
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: of all, this is on the father. He cannot let
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: nobody come into your house and disrespect you. That cannot happen.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: As a man, he should not allow that to happen.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: The fact that it is March and she ain't spoken,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: she hasn't spoke to you since December? Really, are you
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: kidding me? I wish you would come in my house
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and don't open your mouth to me. I promise you
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you wish you wasn't standing in there. I'm gonna tell you, man,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: you're not gonna You're not gonna. You're not gonna come
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: in my house and disrespect me. You shouldn't have to
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: go to your room because a child is over at
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: the house. Now, you're dumb ass husband. Let's just talk
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: about who's sitting up in here. Man and gonna lose
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: his wife over his child. Now, if it were reversed,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I would understand a woman could lose her man over
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: a child. If a man is disrespectful to the child
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: or to her, then a woman is different. But this
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: man right here, it's listening to everything she say. Ain't
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: listen to nothing you say. Now you're in your house, unhappy.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: They downstairs eating grin or cheese. Man, what you are?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You should not allow anyone to come in your house
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and make you have to run for cover. You shouldn't
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: have to do this. I promise you, I'm not gonna
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: be the only one uncomfortable in my house. I bet you,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I am, I bet you I'm a I'm gonna say
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that for the second half of the left. I'm gonna
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: just come up with a list of stone tightened everybody
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: up in here. But hear what you're not gonna do though,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You're not going to ruin my day. And her father
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: should step in and say, you know what, enough enough.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: You don't come in here and disrespect a woman and
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: her first. She just said, that's just common courtesy. Skip
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: whatever she feels. You can't come to another person's home
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: and disrespect them in their home. That's basic one o one.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: If you don't like the rules of a person house
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: like my father, Mom always told me, if you don't
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: like what's happening down the Ricket house, don't go down
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to Ricket House. That's because it's popping off down there.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Don't come back up here and time out. She hollered
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: at me, rickey mama, saying we had to stop playing
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Marvels and took out marvels. Don't go to Ricket House
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: playing Marvels no more, because that's that woman house. You
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: should be the same way. Now you're not, so this
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: fourteen year old is disrespecting Run all up now. She
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: didn't text him at work. He come in and blow
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: up at you over something. She texts and she lies.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You can fix that. Come in here and blow up
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: in me again. It ain't a woman in here can't
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: fix that. He come in the house and blow up
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: at you over something. She said, come in here one
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: more time, snapping off on me with some yoler line,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: as baby then said one more time, Come in here
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: one more time and snap off with me with some
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: yolow line, and see what happens. You're a help, don't.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you how to end this. You can end
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: this with some direct conversation sitting up in here disrespecting
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: me and my house. When we come back, I'm gonna
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: have a list of things you can do where you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: ain't got the only woman be tightened. This happen, all right,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: we'll be back in twenty three after the hour you're
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, Steve, come on, let's get
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter. I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: don't have time for these games here. This fourteen year
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: old girl comes over to this woman's house who's married
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to her father for eleven years, and it's just a problem.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: She hasn't spoken to this woman, syste Simile. She's very
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: disrespectful to her when she comes over. Now the woman
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: goes her room until she's gone. A fourteen year old
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: coming to my house and I'm going in my room.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: That's not being help. Can I'll tell you somebody didn't
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: tell y'all before her mama behind her mother. Her mother
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: is blaming this woman in the letter. The reason why
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: her and her dad ain't got Wow, because listen to me,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: they've been married eleven is she let's do some math.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: They've been married eleven years. The girl ain't be four
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: team one of them years of her fourteen, her mama
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: was pregnant. Hello, some time before that the baby had
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: to be conceived. Oh hello, don see Now do you
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: understand why I'm going with this? Now, you had the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: conception period, the dating period, you had the pregnancy. We're
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: only looking at at max. At max a year and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: a half that we can't exactly explain. And during that
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: year and a half, I can promise you he was
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: dating the woman he's married to. Wow, that woman had
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: just had this baby or pregnant. Now she gets the
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: ring and her ass left with the photeen year. Huh
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: So now while she in the hole, when she go
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to visit that health over there is the reason me
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and your dad ain't together. She bringing it. She's poisoning
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the girl's mind. That's your problem. It ain't the girl,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: it's her mamma. I promise you that's behind now. Whether
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: it's behind it or not. But you ain't going to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: come up in my house and do it's disrespecting me.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be the only one in here tight
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: what's happening. So I got a few things you can
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: do here. Now here's the most the one that requires
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the less guts on your part, because you don't want
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: hiding in your room from this child every time she
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: come over. Leave for two days and don't call your hood.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Just leave for two days. No no, Just go somewhere
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: two days, enjoy yourself, get your spy treatment, going somewhere
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: in chill, go to work every day. Don't answer his
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: call nothing. Don't as asking too something. That's for one.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Here's the next thing you should do. When they put
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: their cereal on the table, or put any plates on
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: your kitchen table, turn the damn table. Ain't nobody damn
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: thing you ain't speaking to me, ain't nobody eating a
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: death Turn the damn table, ball of seal everybody's forget
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: it whatever, turn it down table. That's right. Yeah, I
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: wish I had time before we go walk right up
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to her. As soon as you get right in her
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: kiss day her damn mouth which some tune that I loved?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Did you Okay? And then no, we're gonna go. We
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: gotta yeah, we got. That's how you throw a person
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: into something, certainly to me in that's something that's alright. Please,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Email us or Instagram
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: and your thoughts that my girls, Shirley and don't forget

- 1:09:05Speaker 1: King of Wakanda is now the major figure in the
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Avengers poster. I've been seeing him and the center of
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the poster. That's right, because they know O dollars got power, right,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Brothers and sisters, and then that is what I'm talking
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: about right now. Tiffany Hattish you my girl, I love you.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: But when you part in with Beyonce, stop telling that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Listen to me. I've been around a lot of parties
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and when they asked me what happened, I wasn't there.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: But isn't that I wasn't there. But when you know
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: that I wasn't there, it didn't happen. Snitches gets just
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: stop talking. Now. This is the start of Resurrection weekend.

- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Atlanta Child got to see Kenya Moore's husband daily. Finally, finally,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: she had a well, I guess a party of screening
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: party if you will, for her domestic violence p s A.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Remember she put this ps A, very powerful p s
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: A together with all of the ladies, some of the
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: ladies from the show, and she wanted to have this
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: premiere party, so she invited uh, some domestic abuse survivors.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: She invited them down and had a day of glam
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: for them with hair and makeup and evening gown dresses
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: for the premiere. And the party was very, very nice
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: what Kenya did, and it was a big night for
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: her and some of the ladies and the cast mates.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: They wondered why Kenya's husband. He wasn't there at the
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: event to support his wife on her big night. Well,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: while Kenya was introducing the p s a screening getting
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: ready for it. In her speech, she thanked the ladies
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: and then she saw her husband Mark. He surprised her
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: and she thanked her loving husband. And it was a
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: big surprise for Kenya. She didn't think he was coming.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: He was able to make the event, and uh, it
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: was good. It was good to see him. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: all the ladies, the cast members that were there, they
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: got to meet her husband. So it was cool. Which one? Okay,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: all of Steve, come on, Commy gets your boy? Come on?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Which one? What was your question, sister? Right? Which water
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to win a shrip? Well, you know, Cynthia was very
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: excited to meet Mark in charade. She was cool. Nini
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: kind of threw a little little shade. He didn't hear
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the shade, but yeah, she said it earlier. But and
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Candy and her husband, they welcomed him to the to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: the group and I asked when he was going to
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: move to Atlanta. Things get in the group. He he
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: doesn't want to, right, Carl, He's the one that didn't
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: want to be on TV, right No, he didn't. You
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: could tell he was a little uncomfortable about being on
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: TV as well. But Kenya was very happy and that
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: was cool for her husband to show up and support
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: his wife or her big night. Moving on. Oh wait, wait, wait,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: one more question, Carl, I have to ask you this.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: What was it the big thing about about the ring
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: in his nose or did they make a big deal
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: about that? He who had a ring? Were they making
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: a big mark? He has a nose pierce noses pierce,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: remember like tupodcast back in the day, like stud a stud,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the diamond stud earring. But were they making a big
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: deal out of that though? Yeah, they were making an
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: issue about that nose piercing. Okay, a little bit little shade.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Okay you called onto that? Yeah, absolutely so. Now let
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: me tell you this, Junior, your girl arre she was
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: on the phone with her prison bay Tyrone and she
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: was discussing the man cave. And we have to give
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: a shout out to Michael Michael, who is a designer
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: and friend to the show. Here's Steve Harvey show on
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: the set. He's interior designer. He's redoing Shearay's basement. Anyway,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: say was on the phone with her man and she's
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: making all these plans for this destination wedding and talking
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: about it. He would be gad to give him there. Well, well,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: he said he was gonna be released very soon, and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: they're planning on him coming to the house and kicking
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: it and getting married. And guess what. Some of the
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: blogs are reporting that uh Say's prison bay Tyrone will
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: not beginning out of prison early. He is serving a
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty month sentence for securities. Come on,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: was locked up. So basically his schedule release date is
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: November four, twenty twenty two. To be exact, Big Boss
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Davia head full life sentence. That was timmy serious. He
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: kept getting time and he was just killing. He went
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: to prison for killing two white folks and they found
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: out we have to go, Sister Rod, thank you. We'll
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: be back with more of this craziness right after this.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Stormy daniels
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: attorneys filed emotion in California overnight. He was seeking to
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: force President Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen to testify
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: under oath. Okay, uh Stormy Daniels was paid. We all
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: know a hundred and thirty thousand dollars by Cohen right
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: before the two thousand and sixteen election in exchange for
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: her keeping quiet about her alleged affear with Trump back
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: in two thousand and six. Okay, her lawyer, Michael Avanetti
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: wants to question Trump to find out if he knew
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: about the payment. Okay, it's not so much what he
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: did with Stormy Daniels, but it's about the payment and
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: the cover up and and all of that. Now. He
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: also wants to question Cohen about whether he knew about
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: the physical threat that Daniels claimed she received in a
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Los Angeles parking lot. The motion filed requests a jury
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: trial to begin within the next three months. So they
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: want this to begin rather quickly. But what are they
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: wanting a trial for. I'm not understanding what are the charges? Okay,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: the physical threat that she talked about in sixty minutes
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: with an he listened to me. Here's the problem with
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: the physical threat. Let's say it happened. If you do
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: that to me and my baby, why would I not
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: go to the police and go Do you have this
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: guy on camera somewhere in its parking lot? That's the
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: first thing I'm gonna do she did, she doesn't have
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: a police report. It sounds like she was scared, and
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: I think she may have. She believes that they were
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: more powerful than the police anyway, right, you gotta do
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: you see what I'm saying. So running to the police,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: I don't think she felt like that's gonna do anything. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: so that could be part of it too. I mean,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I don't know, but it's going to be very, very
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: very difficult if you don't have this guy prove we
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: get that. Yeah, so now without proving it, all they're
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: really trying to do is get Trump in that deposition,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: deposition to find out if they knew about the payments.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: And all they know Coen knew about the payment they're
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: trying to find if the President did. Here's all they're
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: really trying to do. They are trying to get him
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: to get say that they're going deposition so they can
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: get a settlement. Period. What do we need to give
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: you to make this go away? And they'll be an
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: undisclosed settlement, never allowed to mention a nothing. That's what
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: this is all about. If it's not about money, why
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: why does she have this lawyer and why is he
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: making such a big steam to clear her name. Really,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: we haven't heard anything from the president, and he hasn't
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: made any public appearances. Uh and several days be not
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: open anything. That's what they're saying. For once he's he
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: can't because it's eight more. I don't know where he
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: got that number from. But you can be sure that
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: Trump's lawyers are already working to make sure this doesn't happen.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Trump's team isn't paying much attention to the story Stormy
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Daniel story. They're probably just waiting for it to go away.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: But her attorney is not backing on Why did the
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: playmate come out and start interviewer? What does she says?
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: She want some charges to the same reason I think
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: she she didn't. She wanted to tell her story. She
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: wanted her story out there because and they they had.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: She said they had a full fledged affair, not just
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: a one time deal like Stormy he's in the church.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Well that could happen, that could happen. We all have
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: a past, that could happen. They buy her story. They
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: bought her story, the playmate. Oh well, we'll see every
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: day something new you all right, we'll have more of
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Retired Supreme Court
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Justice John Paul Stephen Steve published an opinion editorial and
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: up ed in The New York Times titled repeal the
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: Second Amendment, but a court into a recent poll, He'll
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: have to change a lot of minds to get that done.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Back in February, the economists and you gov asked Americans
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: if they supported such a proposal. Said they were okay
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: with repealing the Second Amendment, but sixty percent said they
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: were opposed to such a plan. Now, if you break
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: the poll down further and reveals it reveals that thirty
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: of Democrats support a repeal, but only eight percent of
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: Republicans support such a complete repeal. I'm I don't see
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: any surprise here. I mean, you know nothing. It's all
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: tied to money, folks. It's nothing else. It's just money
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: and profit, and they care more about that than they
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: care about the lives of these people who are being
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: gunned down. The Second Amendment was written when people had
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: must get goods, you could file for around every thirty
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: forty that's automatically they have assault weapons out here now
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: from stock magazines military style assault lifers that to assault.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: And now you have to make some amendments. I don't
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: think they should repeal it. That's gonna be too hard
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: of a war. But they've got to amend it greatly.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: This constitution is too old, it's dated. If you put
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: back everything in the Constitution that was originally there, people
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: would be flabbergast. First of all, y'all, women could not vote,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Black people could not vote. Then when you did count
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: for anything, the black person was considered three fifths of
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: a human being. That's in your constitution. That's that damn
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: piece of paper they keep hanging on to like it's
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: a vibe on the song. Yeah, so the amendment needs
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: an addendum, amending, amending, Yeah, absolutely right, because it's not
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: gonna happen. But I mean some change I've definitely needed.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: But you know, I don't see I just don't see
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: it happening. And I'm not being pessimistic or anything. I
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: just don't see it see it happening. Because you know,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: they fiercely, fiercely protect the Second Amendment more than it
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: seems any other amendment or any anything in the Constitution.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: Because this is the amendment that's tied to their profit
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: and their power. And nothing, nothing means more to them
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: than their profit and their power. Not loss of life,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: not school shootings, not church shootings, not not theater shootings,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: not massive shootings up at event in Vegas. Nothing matters
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: or to them than their power and their profit. And
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: they will prove it to you. You can quit talking
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: to these men because they're not giving that up. Is
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: it safe to say it's gonna happen. It just won't
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: happen to maybe the millennials take over. I think it
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: will happen once they take Oh, these millennials are gonna
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: make some changes. But it's gonna be a dog fight. Yeah,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: it's gonna be a dog fight. All right. We will
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: be back with our last break of the day, Steve
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Harvey's closing remarks. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. Wants to
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: get It's about sharing, Uh, the things that I've learned
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: along the way. One of the things I think is
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: very important that we should talk about. We should talk
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: about blame and excuses. Um, blame and excuses. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: they serve no purpose ex excuses, first of all, are
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: only good for the person that's providing it, does nothing
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: for the person who receives it. Have you ever had
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: somebody tell you a reason why they do didn't do
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: something and you were counting on them to get it
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: done and they gave you an excuse as the wife. Okay,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: here's somebody is supposed to pick you up in the
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: car pool for work. Now you didn't gave your car
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: to your spouse so they could go do what they
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: want to do. Now you're sitting there waiting on the
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: car pool to come pick you up. They don't pick
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: you up. Not a late man, I had a hard
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: time getting up this morning. Man, I'm glad, but i'm
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: here though. Whoa man, that's an excuse? What do you
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: mean you're late? You had a hard time getting up.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: I'm sitting up here waiting on you to pick me up,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: and you come forty five minutes later. Nominate for work?
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: See that excuse? That does okay for I was sick
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: this morning. I didn't fill up to it. Excuse works
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: wonderful for you, but the person receiving the excuse gets nothing.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: You've got to remove excuses from your vocabulary and your
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: walk in life. See, I don't really accept excuses from
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: anybody in my camp. If you're an employee, you work
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: for me. I don't do excuses because I don't give none. Today,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: for example, I'm not feeling real well. You know, my
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: sionist Systant kicked in. I had a troublesome night last night.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: I'm not feeling well. But guess what, I came to
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: work on the radio today and I'll do these two
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: shows I got to do today because I NBC. My heart.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: Don't care up about my excuses. People who are looking
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: for me to wake him up in the morning, give
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: him a laugh, for give them a thought starter. They're
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: not looking for my excuses. They're just looking for the results.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: Excuses don't do me no good. Now, that's some days.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: All of us are not up to part. We're not one,
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: but I'm not. I don't care about the excuses. I
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: don't accept excuses because I don't give excuses. The other
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: thing I removed from my life is blame. And once
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: you blame another person, man, this is what happened with blame,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: blaming excuses. Listen to me. Finger pointing does nothing because
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: you've heard old saying every time you point your finger
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: in the person, you notice that's three of them pointing
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: back at you. Once you're in the blame business and
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: the excuse business, you forfeit your chance for growth. I
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: give you an example. If you're always talking about is
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: somebody else's fault, and you're always have an excuse why
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: something didn't get done or accomplished, guess what now? You
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: can't grow. You can't grow, you can't fix it because
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: the reason why it didn't happen, or the reason why
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: you didn't accomplish it is because you blame someone else
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: and you have an excuse. Once you start accepting blame
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: and excuses, you forfeit your chance for growth. You killed
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: any chance for change. Sometimes all you have to do
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: as a person is searched within yourself and find out
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: what it is about you that you could change that
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: could start producing a better results. But if you always
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: blaming somebody else and providing it and accepting excuses from
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: yourself and other people, guess what you've done. You've killed
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: your chance for change. Sometimes you could be doing a
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: whole lot better in life if you would just change,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: If you would search yourself and change something about you,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: you would be doing so much better if you just
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: search yourself, stop allowing excuses to be a part of
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: your makeup, and stop allowing blame to be a part
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: of it, and you would discover a lot of this
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: suggestion you it could be you another thing to blame
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: an excuse. It does us. It allows you to fail favorably.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: You know, man, you can just get all right with failing.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: You can fail favorably because it ain't my fault and
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: I didn't do it because it was cold outside. So
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: till you allow yourself to fail favorably, that's an ugly
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: spot to be in. But blaming excuses allows you to
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: fail favorably, Like it's okay to fail because it ain't
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: my fault because I have an excuse. And if they fault,
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: blaming excuses, man is a very very dangerous thing out there. Also,
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: blaming excuses promotes a climate of failure. It just premeates
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: man throughout your life. And next thing, you know, you
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: ain't accomplishing nothing because if blaming, blaming excuses a part
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: of your makeup, you now have promoted a climate for failure.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: It's okay, it's okay because I have a reason why
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: why you didn't finish school because because it was too
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: cold to go. Why you didn't finish school because that
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: test was too hard? I didn't studied them two pages.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: I thought they said the first chapter. She questions us
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: on the first three chapters. I didn't hear that that's
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: the only reason I failed. And you get all right
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: with it. When you're no longer the reason why something happens.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: You no longer have control over what happens. Let me
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: say that to you one more time. When you're no
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: longer the reason why something happens, you ain't gonna take responsibility.
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: You're not the reason. Stop allowing blame and excuses to
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: end into your makeup. They served nobody any good, especially you.
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: Those are my closer right now. Day, have yourself a
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: good week. You better love Clap for I'm trying. That's
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: what the president does. Yes, that's all I'm saying. For
