Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / KAMALA DISASTER: Unhinged VP Screams at Bret Baier
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, there's only one way to describe the interview last night.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It did not go well for Kamala Harris. She sat
- 0:10Speaker 1: down with Fox News Channels Brett Baer to do a interview.
- 0:14Speaker 1: You could argue, honestly, this is the first interview that
- 0:18Speaker 1: she has done that was with an actual journalist that
- 0:21Speaker 1: was going to be tough. All the other interviews have
- 0:24Speaker 1: been puff pieces, have been kind of a joke, and
- 0:29Speaker 1: you lose your edge when you're only talking to people
- 0:34Speaker 1: that don't ask you tough questions. I witnessed this as
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was at the debate between Colin Alred and Ted
- 0:42Speaker 1: Cruz last night two nights ago, I should say, technically now,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and we prepped for that debate. I spent a lot
- 0:50Speaker 1: of time getting ready for that debate with Center Cruz
- 0:55Speaker 1: doing debate prep. And it was shocking how bad Holland
- 1:00Speaker 1: already did during that debate. And it was really, I think,
- 1:03Speaker 1: because he had not had any tough questions. He had
- 1:07Speaker 1: done all of these interviews with friendlies, with people that
- 1:11Speaker 1: were not really asking you hard questions, and she had
- 1:15Speaker 1: done the view, but they weren't going to hurt her.
- 1:17Speaker 1: They weren't going to ask her a tough question. They
- 1:19Speaker 1: were going to challenge her. She had done Charlemagne, the Gods,
- 1:23Speaker 1: she had done, call her Daddy, podcasts, she had done,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you know, all of these different just the Oprah interview
- 1:31Speaker 1: for example, there was nothing that she had really had
- 1:35Speaker 1: to deal with.
- 1:36Speaker 2: It was tough.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Now Donald Trump, on the other hand, has to do
- 1:38Speaker 1: tough interviews every day, and he asked, there's questions from
- 1:43Speaker 1: the media who are just spitting fire at him every day. Well,
- 1:47Speaker 1: Harris is stagnated in the polls, and they're watching these
- 1:52Speaker 1: polls and they're watching her fall behind. And so they
- 1:54Speaker 1: made a decision, Okay, maybe we do a real interview
- 1:59Speaker 1: and maybe that can help us turn the tide because
- 2:02Speaker 1: all these other fluff interviews with a view aren't working.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It looks like propaganda. The American people clearly are looking
- 2:07Speaker 1: at it that way. Let's change it up, right, Let's
- 2:11Speaker 1: do something a little bit different. So they agreed because
- 2:15Speaker 1: there was enough downside, I want to make that clear
- 2:19Speaker 1: happening in the election. There was not enough upside, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: they were stagnating. The campaign was stalling out. All right,
- 2:27Speaker 1: let's see if we can shake it up a little bit.
- 2:28Speaker 1: We'll do an interview with Brett Baer, and they did it.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It was at one point so bad.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Apparently there was four staffers in the room jumping up
- 2:40Speaker 1: and down, swinging their arms around in a circle, telling
- 2:44Speaker 1: them to wrap the interview like we're done. End it,
- 2:48Speaker 1: get it like we're done. Because Kamala Harris has not
- 2:52Speaker 1: had tough interviews, so when kid gloves are coming after you,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and that's what happened. This was the kid glove interview
- 3:01Speaker 1: that she's been doing for weeks on ends since she's
- 3:03Speaker 1: been coronated, right, and no one voted for her, she
- 3:07Speaker 1: didn't know how to handle it. Now, I'm going to
- 3:09Speaker 1: play this interview in its entirety because I think it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: important that people hear it. I think it's incredibly important
- 3:15Speaker 1: that people hear exactly what she is having to say,
- 3:17Speaker 1: why she's sang it, and understand just how tough this
- 3:21Speaker 1: interview was for her. And it's not a tough interview
- 3:24Speaker 1: like this. That's the part I think is that these
- 3:27Speaker 1: were just real tough questions that any candidate should answer,
- 3:30Speaker 1: the questions that Trump is having to answer every single day.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Listen, President, thank you for the time.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Thank you, it's good to be with your Brett.
- 3:39Speaker 5: You know, voters tell polsters all over the country and
- 3:42Speaker 5: here in Pennsylvania that immigration is one of the key
- 3:45Speaker 5: issues that they're looking at this election, and specifically the
- 3:48Speaker 5: influx of illegal immigrants from more than one hundred and
- 3:50Speaker 5: fifty countries. How many illegal immigrants would you estimate your
- 3:57Speaker 5: administration has released into the country over the last three
- 4:00Speaker 5: and a half years.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Well, I'm glad you raised the issue of immigration because
- 4:04Speaker 4: I agree with you. It is a topic of discussion
- 4:07Speaker 4: that people want to rightly have. And you know what
- 4:11Speaker 4: I'm going to talk about.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Yeah, but you're just a number. Do you think it's
- 4:14Speaker 5: one million? Three million?
- 4:16Speaker 4: But let's just get to the point, Okay. The point
- 4:19Speaker 4: is that we have a broken immigration system that needs
- 4:23Speaker 4: to be repaired.
- 4:24Speaker 5: So your Homeland Security secretary said that eighty five percent
- 4:27Speaker 5: of apprehensions.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I'm not finished.
- 4:28Speaker 3: We have a refreshment of.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Six million people have been released into the country.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And let me just finish. I'll get you the question.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I promise you I was beginning to answer.
- 4:37Speaker 5: And when you came into office, your administration immediately reversed
- 4:41Speaker 5: a number of Trump border policies, most significantly the policy
- 4:45Speaker 5: that required illegal immigrants to be detained through deportation, either
- 4:49Speaker 5: in the US or in Mexico, and you switched that policy,
- 4:53Speaker 5: they were released from custody awaiting trial.
- 4:56Speaker 3: So instead included in those.
- 4:59Speaker 5: Were a large number of single men, adult men who
- 5:02Speaker 5: went on to commit heinous crimes. So, looking back, do
- 5:06Speaker 5: you regret the decision to terminate remain in Mexico at
- 5:10Speaker 5: the beginning of your administration.
- 5:12Speaker 4: At the beginning of our administration, within practically hours of
- 5:17Speaker 4: taking the oath, the first bill that we offered Congress,
- 5:22Speaker 4: before we worked on infrastructure, before the Inflation and Reduction Act,
- 5:29Speaker 4: before the Chips and Science Act, before any before the
- 5:32Speaker 4: Bipartisan Safe Communities Act, the first bill practically within hours
- 5:39Speaker 4: of taking the oath, was a bill to fix our
- 5:41Speaker 4: immigration system.
- 5:42Speaker 3: This, ma'am.
- 5:43Speaker 5: It was called the US Citizen Citizenship Act of twenty
- 5:47Speaker 5: twenty one.
- 5:47Speaker 3: It was essentially ide.
- 5:49Speaker 6: A citizenship for the I finished. I finished responding for you.
- 5:54Speaker 4: You have to let me finish.
- 5:55Speaker 6: You had the.
- 5:55Speaker 3: White House and the House and the Senate, and they
- 5:57Speaker 3: didn't bring.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Up responding to the point you're raising, and I'd like
- 6:01Speaker 4: to finish. We recognized from day one that to the
- 6:07Speaker 4: point of this being your first question. It is a
- 6:10Speaker 4: priority for US as a nation and for the American people,
- 6:15Speaker 4: and our focus has been on fixing a problem. And
- 6:18Speaker 4: from day one then we have done a number of things,
- 6:22Speaker 4: including to address our asylum system and put more resources,
- 6:27Speaker 4: getting more judges, what we needed to do to tighten
- 6:30Speaker 4: up penalties and increase penalties for illegal crossings, what we
- 6:34Speaker 4: needed to do to deal with points of entry between
- 6:39Speaker 4: border entry points. That's the work we did, and we
- 6:43Speaker 4: worked on supporting what was a bipartisan effort, including some
- 6:47Speaker 4: of the most conservative members of the United States Congress,
- 6:51Speaker 4: to actually strengthen the border. That border bill would have
- 6:55Speaker 4: put fifteen hundred more border agents at the border, which
- 6:58Speaker 4: is why I believe the border patrol agents supported the bill.
- 7:01Speaker 4: It would have allowed us to stem the flow of
- 7:03Speaker 4: fentanyl coming into the United States, which does a scourge
- 7:06Speaker 4: affecting people of every background, every geographic location in our country,
- 7:11Speaker 4: killing people. It would have allowed us to put more
- 7:13Speaker 4: resources into prosecuting transnational criminal organizations, which I have done
- 7:18Speaker 4: as the attorney general former attorney general.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Of a border state.
- 7:22Speaker 4: A couple of executed trafficking of drugs, guns, and human beings,
- 7:25Speaker 4: and Donald Trump, but let me just finish.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Democrats voted against that.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Learned about that bill and told them to kill it
- 7:33Speaker 4: because he preferred to run on a problem instead of
- 7:36Speaker 4: fixing a problem. And in this election, this is rightly
- 7:39Speaker 4: a discussion that the American people want to have, and
- 7:44Speaker 4: what they want are solutions, and they want a president
- 7:46Speaker 4: of the United States who's not playing political games with
- 7:49Speaker 4: the issue but actually is focused on fixing.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Six Democrats voted against that bill. It would have allowed
- 7:54Speaker 5: one point eight million illegal immigrants into the country a year.
- 7:58Speaker 3: A lot of conservatives had a proper them with it.
- 8:00Speaker 3: These are the six.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Democrats, but more importantly back to the original premise, Joscelyn Hungary,
- 8:07Speaker 5: Rachel Morin, Laken Riley. They are young women who were
- 8:11Speaker 5: brutally assaulted and killed by some of the men who
- 8:13Speaker 5: were released at the beginning of the administration, well before
- 8:17Speaker 5: a negotiated bipartisan bill.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm going to hit pause here because I don't want
- 8:22Speaker 1: to rush this, because I think you notice what her
- 8:25Speaker 1: strategy was on that question. Her strategy is to run
- 8:28Speaker 1: out the clock. That is her strategy. It is to say, well,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I was a prosecutor. I mean, you just heard it.
- 8:36Speaker 1: She didn't answer the question. By the way, she didn't
- 8:39Speaker 1: answer the question, and Brett Baer is not letting her
- 8:44Speaker 1: get away with what she normally does because he's an
- 8:47Speaker 1: actual journalist who's asking real questions, and he asked us
- 8:51Speaker 1: question about these girls that have died. Now, they didn't
- 8:55Speaker 1: expect they were going to have to have a real interview,
- 8:58Speaker 1: so they didn't train her for this. They didn't get
- 9:01Speaker 1: hurt ready for this. That is a problem. Okay, it's
- 9:04Speaker 1: a real big problem. And this interview was a disaster
- 9:12Speaker 1: for one reason. I want to be clear on the
- 9:15Speaker 1: issue of policy. It was a disaster on policies. That's
- 9:20Speaker 1: the problem here. She couldn't defend her record. She was
- 9:25Speaker 1: asked a question about the border. She tried to filibuster,
- 9:29Speaker 1: that didn't work. Then Brett came back at her with, Hey,
- 9:32Speaker 1: there are real women that are being murdered because of
- 9:35Speaker 1: y'all's policies and told their stories.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Listen that bill.
- 9:38Speaker 5: It would have allowed one point eight million illegal immigrants
- 9:41Speaker 5: into the country a year.
- 9:42Speaker 3: A lot of conservatives had a problem with it.
- 9:45Speaker 5: These are the six Democrats, but more importantly, back to
- 9:48Speaker 5: the original premise, Joscelyn Hungary, Rachel Morin Lincoln Riley. They
- 9:54Speaker 5: are young women who were brutally assaulted and killed by
- 9:57Speaker 5: some of the men who were released at the beginning
- 9:59Speaker 5: of the deministration, well before a negotiated bipartisan bill. Former
- 10:04Speaker 5: President Clinton actually referred to Lake and Riley Sunday campaigning
- 10:07Speaker 5: for You and Georgia, saying, if those men had been
- 10:09Speaker 5: properly vetted, Lake and Riley probably would not have been killed.
- 10:13Speaker 5: So if it wouldn't have happened, this is well before
- 10:16Speaker 5: any negotiation, This is well before Donald Trump got involved
- 10:20Speaker 5: in the politics. This is a specific policy decision by
- 10:23Speaker 5: your administration to release these men into the country.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So what I'm saying to you, do you know those
- 10:28Speaker 3: families really I think an apology.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Let me just say, first of all, those are tragic cases.
- 10:35Speaker 4: There's no question about that. There's no question about that.
- 10:39Speaker 4: And I can't imagine the pain that the families of
- 10:43Speaker 4: those victims have experienced for a loss that should not
- 10:47Speaker 4: have occurred. So that is true. It is also true
- 10:54Speaker 4: that if a board of security had actually been passed
- 10:57Speaker 4: nine months ago, it would be nine months that we
- 11:01Speaker 4: would have had more border agents at the border, more
- 11:05Speaker 4: support for the folks who are working around the clock
- 11:08Speaker 4: trying to hold it all.
- 11:09Speaker 6: Together, Madam Vice President, ensure that no future harm would occur.
- 11:15Speaker 4: And this election in twenty days will determine whether we
- 11:19Speaker 4: have a president of the United States who actually cares
- 11:23Speaker 4: more about fixing a problem, even if it is not
- 11:26Speaker 4: to their political advantage in an election.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Because there was a solution, Bret.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Madam Vice President, it was a policy decision in the
- 11:33Speaker 5: early part of your administration.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I will let one of the mothers talk about it.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Take a listen.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Because of the Biden Harris administration open border policies catch
- 11:44Speaker 7: and release, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program.
- 11:48Speaker 7: This meant that they were released into the United States.
- 11:51Speaker 7: It was not even a full three weeks later that
- 11:53Speaker 7: they would take my daughter, Jocelyn Nungerray's life. I believe
- 11:57Speaker 7: the Biden Harris administration open border policies are responsible for
- 12:01Speaker 7: the death of my daughter.
- 12:03Speaker 3: That's the early days. So do you owe them an apologies?
- 12:07Speaker 4: When I shall tell you that I am so sorry
- 12:09Speaker 4: for her loss. I'm so sorry for her loss, sincerely.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Notice she's not gonna say I'm sorry, She's saying politically,
- 12:20Speaker 1: I am so sorry for her loss. This isn't my fault,
- 12:25Speaker 1: This isn't my problem. I created the problem. I allowed
- 12:28Speaker 1: for the open borders, but I don't care. This is
- 12:31Speaker 1: a disconnect. You just heard that mother's story, and she
- 12:36Speaker 1: is refusing to admit that she made a mistake. She
- 12:39Speaker 1: is refusing to admit that her policies have caused people
- 12:44Speaker 1: to die, allowing dangerous criminals, those convicted of rape to
- 12:51Speaker 1: be released into America not deported, those that are convicted
- 12:55Speaker 1: of murder to be released into America not be deported.
- 12:59Speaker 1: When we caught them, and they knew they were catching rapists,
- 13:02Speaker 1: convicted rapists, they knew by the thousands and murders. Remember
- 13:06Speaker 1: when Venezuela released like like like emptied out their jails.
- 13:12Speaker 2: That's a fact. And where do they come.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Many of them came to the United States of America
- 13:16Speaker 1: and we let them in under her administration. And so
- 13:21Speaker 1: when she's asked this question, like, hey, do you want
- 13:23Speaker 1: to say you're sorry, She's like, I'm sorry, Like you know,
- 13:27Speaker 1: I hate their loss, but I don't care.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I'm not saying i'm sorry.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna give you Brett what
- 13:33Speaker 1: you want, which is a hey, I have a policy
- 13:37Speaker 1: that didn't work. Well, I'm not doing that, like I'm
- 13:42Speaker 1: here to fundamentally change this country. And you have to
- 13:45Speaker 1: understand there is no compassion there. She's angry. She's having
- 13:48Speaker 1: to answer this question because what her plan is, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: what Biden's plan is, and what the Democratic Party's plan
- 13:54Speaker 1: is is to overrun this country of the legals, then
- 13:57Speaker 1: give them amnesty, then they vote for them forever. And
- 13:59Speaker 1: if you die in the process, or your kids are
- 14:02Speaker 1: kidnapped or raped, or your wife is raped, they don't care.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You are collateral damage in their ultimate grand plan. That's
- 14:13Speaker 1: what you are. You are collateral damage. I'm going to
- 14:17Speaker 1: play for you a mother whose child was murdered by
- 14:21Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant, and this is what she said before Congress,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and then listen to how defiant Nancy Pelos Excuse me,
- 14:31Speaker 1: Kama Harris is.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Listen carefully.
- 14:33Speaker 7: As of the Biden Harris administration open border policies catch
- 14:38Speaker 7: and release, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program.
- 14:42Speaker 7: This meant that they were released into the United States.
- 14:45Speaker 7: It was not even a full three weeks later that
- 14:47Speaker 7: they would take my daughter, Jocelyn Nungray's life. I believe
- 14:51Speaker 7: the Biden Harris administration. Open border policies are responsible for
- 14:55Speaker 7: the death of my daughter.
- 14:57Speaker 3: That's the early days. So do you owe them an apologies?
- 15:01Speaker 4: I shall tell you that I am so sorry for
- 15:04Speaker 4: her loss. I am so sorry for her loss, sincerely.
- 15:09Speaker 4: But let's talk about what is happening right now with
- 15:14Speaker 4: an individual who does not want to participate in solutions.
- 15:18Speaker 6: Let's talk about that as well.
- 15:20Speaker 4: In all fairness, I told you I feel awful for
- 15:24Speaker 4: what she and her family have experienced.
- 15:26Speaker 5: During that time. You said repeatedly that the border was secure.
- 15:30Speaker 5: When in your mind did it start becoming a crisis.
- 15:34Speaker 4: We've had a broken immigration system transcending by the way
- 15:37Speaker 4: Donald Trump's administration even before. Let's all be honest about that.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I have no pride in saying that this is a
- 15:45Speaker 4: perfect immigration system.
- 15:46Speaker 6: I've been clear. I think we all are that it
- 15:50Speaker 6: needs to be fixed. We need more.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I was just down at the border talking with border agents.
- 15:56Speaker 4: And they will tell you, and I'm sure you probably
- 15:58Speaker 4: I know you investigate in your are a serious journalist.
- 16:02Speaker 4: They will tell you we need more judges.
- 16:05Speaker 1: We need by the way, I love how she says,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and you're a serious journalist. That tells you why she's
- 16:11Speaker 1: sitting there with Brett Baer. She's sitting there with Brett
- 16:15Speaker 1: Baer because she desperately needs this interview. She desperately needs
- 16:23Speaker 1: an interview where people will look at her differently. You're
- 16:30Speaker 1: a serious journalist.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I mean that.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I mean she just said you're a serious journalist. That's like,
- 16:38Speaker 1: why would she say that? Because she's desperate. I just
- 16:44Speaker 1: went down to the border. I'm the borders are I
- 16:47Speaker 1: never went for years, but now that I'm running for
- 16:49Speaker 1: president and no one's voted for me, I'm serious and
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'm at the border. I don't know if that plays
- 16:54Speaker 1: with America. I'm not sure it plays at all.
- 16:59Speaker 4: We need more I was just down at the border
- 17:02Speaker 4: talking with border agents. And they will tell you, and
- 17:05Speaker 4: I'm sure you probably I know you investigate and you
- 17:07Speaker 4: are a series journalist. They will tell you we need
- 17:11Speaker 4: more judges. We need to we need to process those
- 17:15Speaker 4: cases faster. We need this support for those cases that
- 17:18Speaker 4: should be prosecuted. They need more resources, and Congress ultimately
- 17:23Speaker 4: is the only place that that's going to get fixed.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Brett. That's how the system works.
- 17:28Speaker 3: That's the premises question.
- 17:29Speaker 5: There're ninety plus executive orders that were rescinded in the
- 17:32Speaker 5: first days. Many of those were Trump border policies. I'm
- 17:35Speaker 5: not going to stay here because there's other things to
- 17:38Speaker 5: talk about. But you frequently talked to the Border Patrol
- 17:41Speaker 5: Union for support of that bipartisan bill, and they did,
- 17:44Speaker 5: they supported it, but they also just endorsed Donald Trump
- 17:47Speaker 5: and said, you've been quote a failure with border security.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Why do you think they said that.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I think they're frustrated, and I get it. They want support,
- 17:57Speaker 4: they want support, and that's what that Border security bill
- 18:00Speaker 4: would have done. These guys down at the border, these
- 18:03Speaker 4: men and women, they're working hard, they're working around the clock.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I get it.
- 18:09Speaker 5: There's a lot of people that look back at what
- 18:10Speaker 5: she said at twenty nineteen when you first ran for president,
- 18:14Speaker 5: and there have been changes, and you've talked about some
- 18:16Speaker 5: of them. When it comes to immigration, you supported allowing
- 18:19Speaker 5: immigrants in the country illegally to apply for driver's license,
- 18:23Speaker 5: to qualify for free tuition at universities, to be enrolled
- 18:26Speaker 5: in free healthcare. Do you still support those things?
- 18:29Speaker 4: Listen, that was five years ago, and I'm very clear
- 18:32Speaker 4: that I will follow the law. I have made that
- 18:34Speaker 4: statement over and over again, and as Vice president of
- 18:37Speaker 4: the United States. That's exactly what I've done, not to
- 18:39Speaker 4: mention before.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Notice she didn't answer that question. She's telling you her
- 18:44Speaker 1: policy a five years ago which turned this into a disaster,
- 18:47Speaker 1: the policy that she advocated for that then she turned
- 18:50Speaker 1: into reality.
- 18:51Speaker 2: She just said to Brett Baer, I'm going to follow
- 18:54Speaker 2: the law. No you're not.
- 18:55Speaker 1: If you follow the law, people that come in this
- 18:57Speaker 1: country illegally don't get to stay in this country indefinitely
- 19:00Speaker 1: and then get them amnesty. If you're following the law,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you don't let legal immigrants get American documents to make
- 19:07Speaker 1: it easier for them to stay here, like drivers' licenses.
- 19:15Speaker 1: That's what people need to understand about her. And she
- 19:19Speaker 1: just said this to Brett Baer, like, Oh, well, you know,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I follow the law. I'm a person law and order.
- 19:24Speaker 1: If that was true, convicted rapists and convicted murders wouldn't
- 19:28Speaker 1: be among us right now. Released by Kamala Harris as
- 19:31Speaker 1: the borders are in her policies.
- 19:34Speaker 5: If that's the case, you chose a running mate Tim Walls,
- 19:37Speaker 5: governor of Minnesota, who signed those very things into state law.
- 19:42Speaker 3: So do you support that?
- 19:45Speaker 4: We are very clear and I'm very clear, as is
- 19:49Speaker 4: Tim Walls, that we must support and enforce federal law,
- 19:54Speaker 4: and that is exactly what we will do.
- 19:57Speaker 5: So decriminalizing border crossings, like you said in twenty nineteen,
- 20:01Speaker 5: I do not.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Believe in decriminalizing border crossings, and I've not done that
- 20:06Speaker 4: as vice president. I will not do that as president.
- 20:08Speaker 3: So these are that you've had.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Well, let's be very clear.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I'm the only person who's running for president who is
- 20:14Speaker 4: prosecuted transnational criminal organizations, from the Sinaloa cartel to the
- 20:20Speaker 4: Guadalajara quote cartel to people who have trafficked and guns, drugs,
- 20:25Speaker 4: and human beings. I have spent a significant part of
- 20:28Speaker 4: my career going after people who present a threat to
- 20:33Speaker 4: the safety of the American people and cross our border
- 20:37Speaker 4: with the intent of doing US harm and cross our
- 20:40Speaker 4: border illegally, and I will do that work as vice president.
- 20:44Speaker 4: I take that work quite seriously.
- 20:46Speaker 2: This is a time when voters, by the way, why
- 20:49Speaker 2: hasn't she done it?
- 20:49Speaker 8: Then?
- 20:51Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's the only way I know how
- 20:53Speaker 1: to describe this is that's a lie. Like that's just
- 20:55Speaker 1: a lie. And I think everybody knows that that's a lie.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Everybody understands that that is a lie. She's lying. And
- 21:04Speaker 1: you can sit there and and he even was trying to,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I think, be like nice and put it in a
- 21:10Speaker 1: different way. Did you notice that where He's like, so
- 21:13Speaker 1: you've had an evolution on this, meaning you flip flopped,
- 21:17Speaker 1: you changed, you did a bait and switch. And she's like,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm the only one that's prosecuted. I'm the only one
- 21:24Speaker 1: that's that went after the cartels in this in this race.
- 21:28Speaker 1: The best thing that ever happened to the cartel. The
- 21:32Speaker 1: best thing is that Kamala Harris was the vice president
- 21:36Speaker 1: and is now the and Joe Biden was the president
- 21:38Speaker 1: and she's now the leader of the Democratic Party. Because
- 21:43Speaker 1: they're making billions of and billions of dollars sex trafficking,
- 21:47Speaker 1: human trafficking, child trafficking, and fetnyl coming into this country
- 21:51Speaker 1: across our southern border. You want to know the easiest
- 21:56Speaker 1: job right now, And I'm not kidding when I say this,
- 21:59Speaker 1: The easiest job, the easiest job right now in Mexico
- 22:03Speaker 1: is to human traffic people. It's big money. It's a
- 22:06Speaker 1: multi billion dollar industry. You don't have to be licensed
- 22:10Speaker 1: for it either. It's a massive, massive amount of cash,
- 22:15Speaker 1: just sitting there with illegal immigrants. I was sent a
- 22:18Speaker 1: video a couple days ago from a rancher and they
- 22:22Speaker 1: got it to me, and it was a rancher showing
- 22:25Speaker 1: four children, including a toddler okay, under a year old,
- 22:30Speaker 1: who were dropped off on their land by traffickers, no parents,
- 22:36Speaker 1: no one to take care of them. They were found
- 22:38Speaker 1: sleeping on a pile of dirt by the farmers. They
- 22:43Speaker 1: didn't care if they were and I'm not kidding when
- 22:46Speaker 1: I say this, eaten by an animal in the middle
- 22:47Speaker 1: of the night. They were not old enough to defend themselves.
- 22:50Speaker 1: They didn't care if no one found them and they died,
- 22:54Speaker 1: they didn't care. They got them across the border. Pay
- 22:57Speaker 1: me the money. There were no adults with them, anyone
- 23:01Speaker 1: could abuse them. And then when they get thear to
- 23:04Speaker 1: this system, they can be abused by anybody else as well.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. Anyone can abuse these children. They can
- 23:13Speaker 1: disappear into society the same exact way that there have
- 23:17Speaker 1: been seventy thousand kids at the Harris administration has lost
- 23:22Speaker 1: Kama Harris clearly, and this is a bigger theme that
- 23:25Speaker 1: I think people need to understand. Set up a support
- 23:28Speaker 1: system for illegal immigrants in this country. She and her
- 23:34Speaker 1: policies set up a support system to make it easier
- 23:38Speaker 1: on illegal immigrants once again in this country.
- 23:41Speaker 2: That is the point that Brett Bear is making.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You come into this country, and Kamala Harris's view is,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I will help you. I will help you come into
- 23:52Speaker 1: this country and live in this country. I will give
- 23:55Speaker 1: you documents that make you feel like you belong here,
- 23:59Speaker 1: that you should stay here. I will give you what
- 24:02Speaker 1: you need to live a life here. That doesn't say
- 24:06Speaker 1: run away? What does that say? That says run to America.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That doesn't say we're going to make it hard on you,
- 24:11Speaker 1: doesn't say you're breaking a law.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It's the complete opposite of that.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It says, run into America right now, and we will
- 24:19Speaker 1: take care of you.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That's what it's saying. Keep listening, especially.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Here in Pennsylvania or inundated with commercials and ads. They
- 24:27Speaker 5: just wanted to stop because it's every commercial but many
- 24:31Speaker 5: of them add noise, but a few of them seem
- 24:34Speaker 5: to break through. This particular one from the Trump campaign
- 24:38Speaker 5: has gotten a lot of attention.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Kamala supports taxpayer funded sex changes for prisoners.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Surgery for prisoners, every transgender the inmate in the prison
- 24:50Speaker 4: system would have access.
- 24:52Speaker 5: So are you still in support of using taxpayer dollars
- 24:55Speaker 5: to help prison inmates or detain the illegal aliens to
- 24:58Speaker 5: transition to.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Another gen I will follow the law, and it's a
- 25:03Speaker 4: law that Donald Trump actually followed.
- 25:06Speaker 6: You're probably familiar with.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Now.
- 25:08Speaker 6: It's a public report.
- 25:09Speaker 4: That under Donald Trump's administration, these surgeries were available to
- 25:15Speaker 4: on a medical necessity basis to people in the federal
- 25:20Speaker 4: prison system. And I think, frankly that ad from the
- 25:23Speaker 4: Trump campaign is a little bit of like throwing stones
- 25:27Speaker 4: when you're living in a glasshouse.
- 25:28Speaker 5: The Trump aids say that he never advocated for that
- 25:31Speaker 5: prison policy and no gender transition.
- 25:34Speaker 4: To take responsible for what happened in your administration.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Yeah, no surgeries happened in this pregnancy. Would you still
- 25:40Speaker 5: advocate for using task payer dollars for gender reassignments?
- 25:43Speaker 4: I will follow the law, just as I think Trump
- 25:47Speaker 4: would say he did.
- 25:48Speaker 3: You would have to say as president, like.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I said, I think it's real. He spent twenty million
- 25:52Speaker 4: dollars on those ads trying to create a sense of
- 25:56Speaker 4: fear in the voters because he actually has no plan
- 26:00Speaker 4: in this election that is about focusing on the needs
- 26:03Speaker 4: of the American people, whereas at twenty million dollars in
- 26:07Speaker 4: that ad on an issue that as it relates to
- 26:11Speaker 4: the biggest issues that affect the American people, it's really
- 26:15Speaker 4: quite remote. And again his policy was no different. Look
- 26:19Speaker 4: at where we are, though they have plans for the
- 26:21Speaker 4: American people. I'm offering a plan to deal with affordable housing.
- 26:25Speaker 4: I'm offering a plan to deal with what we need
- 26:27Speaker 4: to do to strengthen small businesses, which are the backbone
- 26:30Speaker 4: of America's economy. I am offering a plan that is
- 26:33Speaker 4: about taking care of young parents and giving them the
- 26:36Speaker 4: support they need. My plans for the economy will strengthen
- 26:40Speaker 4: the economy, as have been reviewed by sixteen Nobel Laureates, Goldman, Sachs, Moody's,
- 26:46Speaker 4: and recently the Wall Street Journal, which have all studied
- 26:49Speaker 4: our plans and have indicated MY plans for our economy
- 26:52Speaker 4: would strengthen our economy. His would make them weaker, with
- 26:55Speaker 4: ignite inflation and invite a recession by the middle of
- 26:59Speaker 4: next year.
- 26:59Speaker 5: A fact, why do you think more people say they
- 27:01Speaker 5: trust him on the economy than they trust you.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I think that when you look at an analysis of
- 27:08Speaker 4: our plans for what we would do as president of
- 27:11Speaker 4: the United States. It has been clear to those who
- 27:14Speaker 4: study and understand how economic policy works that moving forward
- 27:19Speaker 4: because I do believe the American people are ready to
- 27:22Speaker 4: turn the page on the divisiveness and the type of
- 27:26Speaker 4: rhetoric that has come out of Donald Trump. People are
- 27:28Speaker 4: ready to chart a new way forward, and they want
- 27:30Speaker 4: a president who has a plan for the future and
- 27:33Speaker 4: a plan that is sound and will strengthen our country.
- 27:37Speaker 4: My plan for the economy does exactly that. His plan
- 27:42Speaker 4: would be again to give tax cuts to billionaires and
- 27:45Speaker 4: the biggest corporations in our country and blow up our deficit.
- 27:48Speaker 3: It's interesting you said turn the page. Man and Vice President.
- 27:50Speaker 5: You were asked on two different shows last week, what
- 27:52Speaker 5: if anything, you would do differently than President Biden.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Hear what you said.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Would you have done something differently than President Biden in
- 28:00Speaker 4: the past four years? There is done a thing that
- 28:03Speaker 4: comes to mind in terms of and I've been a
- 28:06Speaker 4: part of most of the decisions that have had impact.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Under a Harris administration. What would the major changes be
- 28:15Speaker 3: and what would stay the same? Sure?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I'm obviously not Joe Biden and so
- 28:22Speaker 4: that would be one change in terms of But also
- 28:26Speaker 4: I think it's important to say with you know, twenty
- 28:28Speaker 4: eight days ago, I'm not Donald.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Trump, what an answer. I'm not Donald Trump. We know that.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So what would you change policy wise? Well, I don't
- 28:38Speaker 1: look like Joe Biden, so apparently that's good enough. Right, Like,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm not Joe Biden, but all this policies are the same.
- 28:46Speaker 1: But I'm not Joe Biden and I'm not Donald Trump.
- 28:48Speaker 2: So there you go. Vote for me.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm Kama Harris. Like that's how dumb she thinks you are.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's how stupid she thinks you are. I want to,
- 28:57Speaker 1: by the way, just take a pause for a second
- 29:01Speaker 1: on playing this interview, and now you understand why the
- 29:05Speaker 1: news came out that Brett Bear said, Hey, there were
- 29:09Speaker 1: four Harris staffers. They're basically jumping up and down behind
- 29:12Speaker 1: the camera, waving their arms with the circle, which is
- 29:17Speaker 1: when you do that, it's telling you wrap the interview, right,
- 29:22Speaker 1: wrap it up.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Let's go wrap it up.
- 29:24Speaker 1: The staffers were waving their arms pleading to end the
- 29:27Speaker 1: interview because the interview was going so bad, so bad
- 29:33Speaker 1: for Kamala Harris. And it's not because Brett Bear was like,
- 29:38Speaker 1: insanely tough. This is what journalists do, this is normal.
- 29:41Speaker 1: This is what Donald Trump faces every day, every single day.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Republicans running for office answer these types of questions. And
- 29:52Speaker 1: I would actually argue that this was an easier interview. Okay, Like,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm not kidding when I say that, an easier interview.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And the reason why I say easier, right, I mean truly,
- 30:05Speaker 1: the reason why I say easier interview is because, like,
- 30:11Speaker 1: go and watch interviews that other candidates, conservative candidates have done,
- 30:16Speaker 1: like it's tough and that's just part of life. But
- 30:21Speaker 1: Kamala Harris had not experienced any of that in this
- 30:24Speaker 1: presidential election. Like, none of it, folks, none of it.
- 30:28Speaker 2: That is a problem.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So when you don't ever experience a tough interview, you
- 30:35Speaker 1: don't have practice, and you're used to giving bad answers
- 30:39Speaker 1: that work. An example of a bad answer is blaming
- 30:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump for everything, right, Like that doesn't always work.
- 30:47Speaker 1: She couldn't explain her positions, she couldn't explain why she
- 30:51Speaker 1: made certain decisions, and then she says, well, I'm different,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I'm not Donald Trump, so that's why you should vote
- 30:59Speaker 1: for me. I don't know if that works with Americans.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Keep listening.
- 31:02Speaker 5: So you're not Joe Biden, you're not Donald Trump, but
- 31:05Speaker 5: but nothing comes to mind that you would do differently.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Let me be very clear, my presidency will not be
- 31:11Speaker 4: a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency.
- 31:14Speaker 6: And like every new president.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Brother, let's just pause there. That's that's that's that's newsworthy. Okay,
- 31:20Speaker 1: let me be clear.
- 31:21Speaker 2: She just said it. Let me be clear. Let me
- 31:24Speaker 2: be clear.
- 31:26Speaker 1: My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden.
- 31:32Speaker 1: So it's either going to be more moderate than Joe
- 31:35Speaker 1: Biden's presidency, or it's going to be more radical and
- 31:38Speaker 1: more liberal. Which one is it? I think we know
- 31:41Speaker 1: which one it is based on her policies. What she's
- 31:43Speaker 1: saying is, let me be clear, I am going to
- 31:45Speaker 1: be more radical, right like that.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's that's what she's saying. I'm going to be more radical.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm going to be more extreme right like that, That's
- 31:56Speaker 1: what she's saying.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'm not Joe Biden. I'm than Joe Biden.
- 32:02Speaker 1: My policies are more radical than Joe Biden. I am
- 32:06Speaker 1: going to be a full blown socialist. I'm the one
- 32:09Speaker 1: that's coming in here telling you that I'm going to
- 32:11Speaker 1: do price controls. I'm going to do price controls on
- 32:17Speaker 1: groceries so that you'll have no choices on the shelves,
- 32:21Speaker 1: but at least what you do have an opportunity to buy,
- 32:23Speaker 1: will quote be cheaper. She's not lying to you in
- 32:27Speaker 1: that answer. What I did with Joe Biden was moderate.
- 32:31Speaker 1: What I'm about to do if I'm elected is so
- 32:33Speaker 1: extreme that grocery stores are going to close all over
- 32:36Speaker 1: the country.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Cident that comes in to office. I will bring my
- 32:42Speaker 4: life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I represent a new generation of leadership. I, for example,
- 32:51Speaker 4: am someone who has not spent the majority of my
- 32:53Speaker 4: career in Washington, DC. I invite ideas, whether it be
- 32:57Speaker 4: from the Republicans who are supporting me, who were just
- 33:00Speaker 4: on stage with me minutes ago, and the business sector
- 33:05Speaker 4: and others who can contribute to the decisions that I
- 33:08Speaker 4: make about, for example, my plan for increasing the supply
- 33:11Speaker 4: of housing in America and bringing down the cost of housing.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Addressing the issue of small businesses, which is about working
- 33:18Speaker 4: with the private sector to bring more capital and access
- 33:21Speaker 4: to capital to our small business leaders, including my plan
- 33:25Speaker 4: for a twenty five thousand dollars down payment assistance for
- 33:29Speaker 4: first time home buyers and for small businesses, extending the
- 33:32Speaker 4: tax deduction from five thousand dollars to fifty thousands.
- 33:35Speaker 5: I've heard a lot about those plans in recent days.
- 33:38Speaker 5: Your campaign slogan is a new way forward, and it's
- 33:40Speaker 5: time to turn the page. You've been vice president for
- 33:43Speaker 5: three and a half years, So what are you turning
- 33:46Speaker 5: the page from.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Well, first of all, turning the page from the last
- 33:51Speaker 4: decade in which we have been burdened with the kind
- 33:56Speaker 4: of rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that has been designed
- 33:59Speaker 4: and implemented to divide our country and have Americans literally
- 34:04Speaker 4: point fingers at each other.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Rhetoric and an approach.
- 34:08Speaker 4: To leadership that suggests that the strength of a leader
- 34:10Speaker 4: is based on who you beat down instead of what
- 34:13Speaker 4: we all know. The strength of leadership is based on
- 34:15Speaker 4: who you lift up. The strength of an American president,
- 34:19Speaker 4: which is one who understands that the vast majority of
- 34:22Speaker 4: us have more in common than what separates us.
- 34:28Speaker 3: People.
- 34:29Speaker 6: That is about.
- 34:29Speaker 4: Turning the page on rhetoric that people are frankly exhausted
- 34:33Speaker 4: of breat.
- 34:33Speaker 5: More than seven Petley tell the country is on the
- 34:36Speaker 5: wrong track. They say the country is on the wrong track.
- 34:39Speaker 5: If it's on the wrong track, that track follows three
- 34:43Speaker 5: and a half years of you being vice president and
- 34:46Speaker 5: President Biden being president. That is what they're saying, seventy
- 34:50Speaker 5: nine percent of them. Why are they saying that? If
- 34:52Speaker 5: you're turning the page. You've been in office for three
- 34:55Speaker 5: and a half.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Years and Donald Trump has been running for.
- 34:59Speaker 6: Office, So you've been the person.
- 35:03Speaker 4: You and I both know what I'm talking about.
- 35:05Speaker 6: You and I both know what.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I'm I love this. She's like, you and I both
- 35:08Speaker 2: know what I'm talking about. Like, you know what I'm
- 35:10Speaker 2: talking about. Brett.
- 35:11Speaker 1: You notice there she's starting to get so angry. She's yelling, right,
- 35:15Speaker 1: she's getting really irritated. And Brett Baer, by the way,
- 35:18Speaker 1: right there, didn't take the bait. He's like, I'm not
- 35:20Speaker 1: taking this bait.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I actually don't. What are you talking about?
- 35:22Speaker 4: What I'm talking about is that over the last decade,
- 35:26Speaker 4: people have become But listen, over the last decade, it
- 35:31Speaker 4: is clear to me and certainly the Republicans who are
- 35:34Speaker 4: on stage with me. The former chief of staff to
- 35:38Speaker 4: the President Donald Trump, the form of Defense secretaries, National
- 35:43Speaker 4: Security advisor and his vice president one, that he is
- 35:46Speaker 4: unfit to serve, that he is unstable, that he is dangerous,
- 35:51Speaker 4: and that people are exhausted with someone who professes to
- 35:55Speaker 4: be a leader, who spends full.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Time demeaning and engage in.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Personal grievances and it being about him instead of gross
- 36:04Speaker 4: American people.
- 36:05Speaker 6: People aren't tired.
- 36:06Speaker 5: Of this, that's the case. Why is half the country
- 36:08Speaker 5: supporting him? Why is he beating you in a lot
- 36:10Speaker 5: of swing states. Why if he's as bad as you say,
- 36:14Speaker 5: that half of this country is now supporting this person
- 36:17Speaker 5: who could be the forty seventh.
- 36:19Speaker 3: President of the United States. Why is that happening.
- 36:21Speaker 1: By the way, she doesn't know how to handle this
- 36:23Speaker 1: because she hasn't had to deal with it. That's why
- 36:27Speaker 1: she's getting so angry. This was what happens to a
- 36:32Speaker 1: candidate when they never have to answer tough questions.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Keep listening.
- 36:37Speaker 4: This is an election for president of the United States.
- 36:40Speaker 4: It's not supposed to be easy. I know, but it's
- 36:43Speaker 4: not supposed to be It is not supposed to be
- 36:46Speaker 4: a case misguided are I would never say that about
- 36:52Speaker 4: the American people. And in fact, if you listen to
- 36:54Speaker 4: Donald Trump, if you watch any of his rallies. He's
- 36:57Speaker 4: the one who tends to demean and be little and
- 37:00Speaker 4: diminish the American people. He's the one who talks about
- 37:04Speaker 4: an enemy within, an enemy within, talking about the American people,
- 37:11Speaker 4: suggesting he would turn the American military on the American people.
- 37:15Speaker 5: We asked that question to the former president. Today, Harris
- 37:18Speaker 5: Faulkner had a town hall, and this is how he responded.
- 37:23Speaker 8: I heard about that. They were saying I was like threatening.
- 37:25Speaker 8: I'm not threatening anybody. They're the ones doing the threatening.
- 37:29Speaker 8: They do phony investigations. I've been investigated more than Alphonse
- 37:33Speaker 8: Capponi was the greatest.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Next. No, it's true.
- 37:35Speaker 6: We don't be thinking of it. It's called the weaponization
- 37:37Speaker 6: of government.
- 37:38Speaker 3: It's a terrible thing.
- 37:39Speaker 4: So Brett, I'm sorry, and with all due respect, that
- 37:43Speaker 4: clip was not what he has been saying about the
- 37:46Speaker 4: enemy within. That he is repeated when he's speaking about
- 37:50Speaker 4: the American people.
- 37:51Speaker 6: That's not what you just showed.
- 37:52Speaker 3: He was asking.
- 37:53Speaker 4: No, no, no, that's not what you just showed. In
- 37:55Speaker 4: all fairness and.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Respect to you, the question that we asked him, he.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Didn't show that. Here's the bottom line. He has repeated
- 38:02Speaker 4: it many times. And you and I both know that.
- 38:05Speaker 4: And you and I both know that he has talked
- 38:07Speaker 4: about turning the American military on the American people. He
- 38:10Speaker 4: has talked about going after people who are engaged in
- 38:13Speaker 4: peaceful protest. He has talked about locking people up because
- 38:18Speaker 4: they disagree with him. This is a democracy and an
- 38:22Speaker 4: inner democracy. The president of the United States, in the
- 38:25Speaker 4: United States of America should be willing to be able
- 38:29Speaker 4: to handle criticism without saying he'd lock people up for
- 38:34Speaker 4: doing it. And this is what is at stake, which
- 38:37Speaker 4: is why you have someone like the former chairman of
- 38:39Speaker 4: the Joint Chiefs of Staff saying what Mark Milly has
- 38:43Speaker 4: said about Donald Trump being a threat to the United
- 38:48Speaker 4: States of America.
- 38:50Speaker 5: He's quoted in the Bob Woodward book that way. Yes,
- 38:52Speaker 5: let me ask you this matter, Vice President.
- 38:54Speaker 6: You call Donald Trump significance, That called.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Donald Trump he's misguided. You say, now.
- 39:02Speaker 1: He's by the way, this is when the staff is
- 39:08Speaker 1: freaking out, inspiraling because she's now lost control. She's no
- 39:13Speaker 1: longer able to control the interview. She's extremely angry.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I love it this moment that she's saying that he
- 39:20Speaker 1: is unstable while literally she is losing her mind. She's angry,
- 39:27Speaker 1: she knows she's losing. In this interview, she's becoming what
- 39:30Speaker 1: you would describe as unhinged. And she's trying to tell
- 39:34Speaker 1: you while she's yelling at Brett Baer and her staff's
- 39:37Speaker 1: saying wrap up the interview that somehow Donald Trump's the
- 39:40Speaker 1: one that's unhinged, Like this is an amazing moment where
- 39:44Speaker 1: you understand she's had not a single tough interview because
- 39:49Speaker 1: if she had, and this is what happens when you
- 39:52Speaker 1: protect candidates. It's it's what happens when you only get
- 39:57Speaker 1: friendly questions. You don't have the pro of how to
- 40:01Speaker 1: deal with tough questions, and you don't know how to
- 40:03Speaker 1: take criticism.
- 40:04Speaker 2: So what you do is you.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Become angry, like Kamala Harris is right now, keep listening.
- 40:08Speaker 1: It doesn't get better for her.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Well, you say he's mentally not stable. Let me ask
- 40:14Speaker 3: you this.
- 40:14Speaker 5: And you told many interviewers that Joe Biden was on
- 40:17Speaker 5: his game, that ran around circles on his staff. When
- 40:21Speaker 5: did you first notice that President Biden's mental faculties appeared diminished?
- 40:27Speaker 4: Joe Biden, I have watched from the Oval Office to
- 40:32Speaker 4: the situation room, and he has the judgment and the
- 40:36Speaker 4: experiment and experienced to do exactly what he has done
- 40:40Speaker 4: in making very important decisions on behalf of the American people.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Joe Biden is.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Not on the ballot.
- 40:47Speaker 6: I understand Donald Trump. Donald Trump, but he talked about
- 40:50Speaker 6: it and Donald.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Trump George Clooney said within a few minutes of talking
- 40:53Speaker 5: to President Biden at a fundraiser that he thought this
- 40:56Speaker 5: was not the same Joe Biden that we.
- 40:58Speaker 6: Saw on the debate stage on the bout.
- 41:00Speaker 5: I understand you met with him at least once a
- 41:03Speaker 5: week for three and a half years. You didn't have
- 41:05Speaker 5: any concerns.
- 41:08Speaker 4: I think the American people have a concern about Donald Trump,
- 41:11Speaker 4: which is why the people who know him best, including
- 41:15Speaker 4: leaders of our national security community, have all spoken out.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Even people who worked for him in the Oval Office,
- 41:23Speaker 4: worked with him in the situation room, and have said
- 41:26Speaker 4: he is unfit and dangerous and should never be president
- 41:32Speaker 4: of the United States again, including his former vice president,
- 41:36Speaker 4: which is why the job was open for him to
- 41:40Speaker 4: choose another running mate.
- 41:42Speaker 6: So that is a fact. That is a fact, Madam
- 41:48Speaker 6: Vice President.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Two more things.
- 41:52Speaker 2: That is a fact. Do you hear.
- 41:55Speaker 1: HER's This is when they're saying, you've got to wrap this,
- 42:01Speaker 1: she can't answer the questions. And that's where Brett Bahar
- 42:05Speaker 1: comes in and says two more questions to final things.
- 42:08Speaker 5: Listen, you were asked on sixty minutes about the biggest
- 42:11Speaker 5: threat the world faces that the US faces.
- 42:15Speaker 3: This is what you said. Which foreign country do you
- 42:19Speaker 3: consider to be our greatest adversary?
- 42:22Speaker 4: I think there's an obvious one in mind, which is Iran.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Iran has American blood on their hands. Okay, this attack
- 42:30Speaker 4: on Israel two hundred ballistic missiles. What we need to
- 42:35Speaker 4: do to ensure that Iran never achieves the ability to
- 42:41Speaker 4: be a nuclear power.
- 42:43Speaker 6: That is one of my highest priorities.
- 42:45Speaker 5: A number experts thought you would say China. The FBI
- 42:49Speaker 5: director had said that, but you said Iran. If that's
- 42:51Speaker 5: the case, what do you say to critics who look
- 42:54Speaker 5: at the actions of your administration and say you're not
- 42:57Speaker 5: acting like Iran is the number one threat?
- 43:01Speaker 4: Well, I will tell you most recently, whether it was
- 43:05Speaker 4: in April or in October, in the several hours on
- 43:10Speaker 4: each occasion that Iran posed a threat to Israel, I
- 43:17Speaker 4: was there most recently in the situation room, in the
- 43:21Speaker 4: most recent attack, working with the heads of our military
- 43:26Speaker 4: and doing what America must always do to defend and
- 43:30Speaker 4: to support Israel in its requirement to defend itself and
- 43:36Speaker 4: to give American support to be able to allow Israel
- 43:41Speaker 4: have the resources to defend itself against attack, including from
- 43:46Speaker 4: Iran and Iran's terrorist proxies in the region. And that
- 43:51Speaker 4: is and my commitment to that is unyielding and unwavering.
- 43:57Speaker 5: Critics just say that you either relaxed or failed to
- 44:00Speaker 5: to enforce sanctions on Iran, allowing all of this money
- 44:03Speaker 5: to flow into Iran.
- 44:04Speaker 9: Like Billings, Let's go back to Donald Trump, who pulled
- 44:08Speaker 9: out of who pulled out of a deal that would
- 44:10Speaker 9: have actually put Ron in check during Donald Trump's administration, that.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Ronen that we had an American military base that was attacked,
- 44:23Speaker 4: where American soldiers suffered traumatic brain injuries, and Donald Trump
- 44:28Speaker 4: dismissed them as headaches.
- 44:30Speaker 6: Not to mention how.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Donald Trump has has treated and talked about America's military
- 44:35Speaker 4: and military service people, calling them suffers and losers, has
- 44:40Speaker 4: diminished the significance of each other. I apologize, and I
- 44:45Speaker 4: would like that we would have a conversation that is
- 44:49Speaker 4: grounded in full assessment of the facts, which includes I
- 44:54Speaker 4: think this interview is supposed to be about the choices
- 44:58Speaker 4: that your viewers should be presented about this election, and
- 45:01Speaker 4: the contrast is important, yes, ma'am. And on the subject
- 45:04Speaker 4: of Iran, I am offering what should be an important
- 45:10Speaker 4: contrast that is presented for folks to make a decision.
- 45:15Speaker 5: Look at what the administration did and say and think differently.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Man a vice president, they're wrapping me very hard here.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I hope you.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Got to say what you wanted to say about Donald Trump.
- 45:25Speaker 5: There are a lot of things. There are a lot
- 45:28Speaker 5: of things that people want to learn about you and
- 45:31Speaker 5: your policies, and that's why I invited.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Everyone to go to Kamala Harris dot com and you
- 45:37Speaker 4: will see that I have eighty pages of policies that
- 45:41Speaker 4: are quite comprehensive and should be accessible to anyone who
- 45:45Speaker 4: would like to read them. And it includes what I
- 45:48Speaker 4: intend to do about affordable housing, what I intend to
- 45:50Speaker 4: do about small businesses, what I do.
- 45:52Speaker 3: And that's why in our to see where you were
- 45:55Speaker 3: in twenty nineteen.
- 45:55Speaker 4: And where you are now, America's military ustrure. We have
- 45:58Speaker 4: the most lethal and best fighting force in the world.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Mon a vice president and giving me a hard rat.
- 46:04Speaker 4: Well, I thank you for the time.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Thank you for the time, Thank you very much, thank you.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Kamala Harris campaign describing this interview as a quote ambush.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Kamala Harris's senior campaign advisor complained that this interview with
- 46:22Speaker 1: Harris was quote an ambush after Brett bayrypeatedly press Harris
- 46:26Speaker 1: to directly answer questions. Former President Barack Obama's campaign mastermind,
- 46:32Speaker 1: who joined Harris's presidential campaign in August, made the charge
- 46:35Speaker 1: after a half hour interview in which Harris seemed to
- 46:38Speaker 1: grow frustrated after being unable to answer Bear's questions about
- 46:41Speaker 1: her record. Kamala Harris handled an ambush Fox interview light
- 46:48Speaker 1: years better than the hash the hash Donald Trump Unstable
- 46:54Speaker 1: made of the Fox interview and they disguised as a
- 46:58Speaker 1: town hall that that's what he said about this interview ambush.
- 47:02Speaker 1: So answering tough questions while you're running for president, that
- 47:05Speaker 1: no one has voted for you, by the way, and
- 47:07Speaker 1: that you just walked into is now described by her
- 47:11Speaker 1: campaign as an ambush.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Let that sink in
