- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit looking back to back,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bu things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve hard to mother, ste don't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn very You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn, got to turn them out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water the water. Come come on your thing,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now wanting on its Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man old man, got a radio show. Yeah, I do.
- 2:13Speaker 1: God so big to me, man, I just have to
- 2:15Speaker 1: tell you about it. I can't help it. It's rather
- 2:19Speaker 1: obvious to me how big, how good God is. He's
- 2:23Speaker 1: absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain, you know, man, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: want to share something with you today. You know, if
- 2:32Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today. Why don't we
- 2:37Speaker 1: all decide together better yet? Let's just kill that because
- 2:41Speaker 1: you don't that just individually. Look you listening, everybody's got
- 2:46Speaker 1: something that's that's on the table that they haven't yet
- 2:50Speaker 1: attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your mission today?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Stop the procrastination now and if you. And if you
- 2:58Speaker 1: allow practical man, if you allow procrastination to set in,
- 3:03Speaker 1: then that that allows then which is a weakness, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: but that allows the devil then to just really do
- 3:11Speaker 1: his thing, because an idle mind is the devil's playground.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So if you ain't working on your goal's dreams, aspirations
- 3:18Speaker 1: or visions, and you you just waking up seeing how
- 3:21Speaker 1: today gonna go, or the devil he got plenty for
- 3:24Speaker 1: it for you to do. See. But if you get
- 3:26Speaker 1: your mind right on your goal and your focus and
- 3:29Speaker 1: your purpose, then you can go on about your business.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Then when the distraction comes, you can catch yourself. Now
- 3:35Speaker 1: that don't mean you ain't gonna fall privy or fall
- 3:37Speaker 1: prey to some of your distractions, because you will, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: you will have a goal in mind, an aspiration that
- 3:44Speaker 1: makes you go hold on, man, I got to stay
- 3:46Speaker 1: focused here because what I really want while I'm really
- 3:49Speaker 1: trying to go the thing that I'm really after, this
- 3:52Speaker 1: new little thing that's being introduced, this don't fit into
- 3:56Speaker 1: the equation. Man, Let me keep it moving, or you
- 3:59Speaker 1: may step off the line for a little while. You know,
- 4:02Speaker 1: like I said yesterday, your thing about God is he's
- 4:04Speaker 1: so forgiving that if you get out of line, he'll
- 4:07Speaker 1: hold your place. See that's the real cool thing. A
- 4:09Speaker 1: lot of people to do that for you too. Like
- 4:11Speaker 1: I said, if you're the movie theater, or you're at
- 4:13Speaker 1: the amusement park and you're in the line and you
- 4:14Speaker 1: forget something, if you politely ask the person behind you, hey, man,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I gotta run to my car left something, would you
- 4:20Speaker 1: hold my place? Most people say, fine, you gotta go ahead,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and when you come back, they don't have a problem.
- 4:25Speaker 1: See your problem is is you want to get out
- 4:27Speaker 1: the line, go do something, then come back and just
- 4:30Speaker 1: get up in the line further up than you were,
- 4:32Speaker 1: or cut somebody. Now you got a problem because see
- 4:35Speaker 1: everybody looking at you now, like Roy Wall partner, where
- 4:37Speaker 1: you come from. You know the line start back here.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But see the thing with God is God don't do that.
- 4:43Speaker 1: God don't say the line start back here. God holds
- 4:47Speaker 1: your place. When you make a mistake and you fall
- 4:49Speaker 1: off the line, God holds your place. But if you
- 4:52Speaker 1: ain't got no dreams, aspiration, if you ain't got no place,
- 4:56Speaker 1: what he holding for you? See I mean he got
- 4:59Speaker 1: a play for you, but you gotta come to it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: See some people if well, here's what I'm saying. If
- 5:05Speaker 1: you got a goal or aspiration, a dream and you
- 5:08Speaker 1: fall off track momentarily, you can get back to that
- 5:13Speaker 1: because God know where you're left off. Now you may
- 5:17Speaker 1: have to accomplish a few more things since you stop
- 5:19Speaker 1: for a long period of time, but God know where
- 5:21Speaker 1: you left off, you can get back on track. I look, man,
- 5:25Speaker 1: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 5:28Speaker 1: and it got off track. Now it got off track.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I just kept it as one of the dreams. And
- 5:34Speaker 1: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 5:37Speaker 1: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on to was
- 5:40Speaker 1: just a hope that one day it could. But that's
- 5:43Speaker 1: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 5:47Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
- 5:51Speaker 1: confidence to keep hoping. Man, sometime it just keep hope alive.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said, just keep hope alive.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Sometimes times, man, it's just the hope. I was hanging
- 6:03Speaker 1: on the hope. And I'm talking about when it got
- 6:07Speaker 1: real ugly and funky out there for me, when it
- 6:10Speaker 1: looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it, and all
- 6:13Speaker 1: of the facts was in and everything pointed in the
- 6:16Speaker 1: direction You're not gonna make it. You didn't really messed
- 6:19Speaker 1: up this time. Then I sat there and I just
- 6:22Speaker 1: hung on to the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying.
- 6:26Speaker 1: If you got a dream on aspiration of vision or something,
- 6:30Speaker 1: when you fall off track and you want to go
- 6:33Speaker 1: get back in line, God holds your place. He knew
- 6:37Speaker 1: I was off tracking how the line, but he said, okay,
- 6:40Speaker 1: here's where we stopped. You want to be on TV
- 6:42Speaker 1: that when you get it together and you quit tripping
- 6:44Speaker 1: and you come in your turn to me, I'm gonna
- 6:46Speaker 1: hold your place, put you back in line. Then we're
- 6:48Speaker 1: gonna finish your journey. That took me a lot longer
- 6:50Speaker 1: to get here than I wanted to, but then it
- 6:53Speaker 1: was necessary because I needed all of the mishaps to
- 6:56Speaker 1: happen to me along the way. So when I got
- 6:58Speaker 1: on the radio one day, which I did not see coming,
- 7:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all. That's why I said,
- 7:04Speaker 1: every day, see because of this radio show that I
- 7:06Speaker 1: didn't see coming. Now I have stories to tell, and
- 7:10Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 7:12Speaker 1: tell you about anybody, and I haven't been through enough
- 7:16Speaker 1: whereas relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that happened
- 7:19Speaker 1: to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I
- 7:25Speaker 1: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 7:31Speaker 1: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me. But
- 7:33Speaker 1: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 7:39Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 7:44Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 7:49Speaker 1: there and died wrong. He forgave me, he said, because man,
- 7:53Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 7:56Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 8:04Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick on me, good and
- 8:07Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And then God started working. And here I am today now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: See threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived yet? Nope?
- 8:20Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is? Cool? And then you
- 8:24Speaker 1: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
- 8:26Speaker 1: like in life. If you don't walked off the cliff
- 8:29Speaker 1: in life, and you ain't got no God in your life,
- 8:33Speaker 1: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:36Speaker 1: cliff and you just free falling. We all now that
- 8:40Speaker 1: fall gets you closer to the grave, right see, we
- 8:43Speaker 1: all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 8:45Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 8:48Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 8:51Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 8:54Speaker 1: nice ride. You guide and you're glad, and you're softly,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you enjoying your looking around, you're smiling, You're meeting other
- 9:01Speaker 1: people along the way. You're floating over here to Skiale
- 9:05Speaker 1: a little while. You over there at the beach for
- 9:08Speaker 1: a little while, you mess around over here, you get
- 9:11Speaker 1: to go out the country a little bit on your parachuting.
- 9:13Speaker 1: All that and God just helps your your descent appear
- 9:17Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Instead of not having no God in your life and
- 9:24Speaker 1: you're just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, you steady pulling, you hauling the
- 9:31Speaker 1: whole way because you to mess around with yourself and
- 9:34Speaker 1: ain't let God come into your life and provide a
- 9:36Speaker 1: parachute for you. I would rather have a parachute since
- 9:40Speaker 1: I got to jump every day, than to not have one.
- 9:44Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 9:47Speaker 1: why where that came from. I can't tell you, But
- 9:51Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 9:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him. You're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, your attention is much required. At this point,
- 10:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey morning shows about to begin. I happened to
- 10:12Speaker 1: be one called Steve. I all always dreamed of this opportunity,
- 10:21Speaker 1: even as a small child and Baker's Field of Chisconsin,
- 10:30Speaker 1: where my father was a dairy farmer, and we used
- 10:34Speaker 1: to milk cows to earn money for school, and as
- 10:38Speaker 1: I would go to school selling cheese sticks, just hustling
- 10:43Speaker 1: my way through life. One day I hitch hyped up
- 10:48Speaker 1: to Green Bay, went and tried out for the Green
- 10:52Speaker 1: Bay Packers that failed. Miser because vislam barready called me colored,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I immediately drove off, went to Cleveland, got shot, and
- 11:11Speaker 1: then took off to Houston and began my comedy career
- 11:16Speaker 1: out on the road, where I met the first black
- 11:19Speaker 1: act name Jay Anthony Brown, at a place called Nicks
- 11:23Speaker 1: in Bloomington, Indiana. He is on our show today. That's
- 11:28Speaker 1: my story. I'm sticking with it. It's refreshing. I've never
- 11:33Speaker 1: told that before, and it just felt good to say
- 11:36Speaker 1: something different, especially the day from apart. Thank you very much,
- 11:40Speaker 1: Shelly Strawberry Milking cows Y. No, I didn't I know
- 11:50Speaker 1: a lot about you. I didn't know that. That's right,
- 11:52Speaker 1: Calin Forrell, try it out for ye. So how old
- 11:57Speaker 1: are you? I'm sixty three? Okay, obviously I was way
- 12:03Speaker 1: too early of an eight year old track yet, junior'all
- 12:10Speaker 1: my favorite part. Vince Lumbardy called you color and so
- 12:13Speaker 1: I drove off j Anthony Brown what Steve left out
- 12:20Speaker 1: of the story, and he will contest this because I
- 12:23Speaker 1: don't have to lie to be on the show. I
- 12:26Speaker 1: was a beekeeper at that particular time he met me.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I was your old wings in my room, in your room,
- 12:34Speaker 1: in my room. You're a beacon and selling honey on
- 12:38Speaker 1: the side to make money to send back to my
- 12:41Speaker 1: parents who were living in Columbia. South Carolina. They were
- 12:44Speaker 1: actually locked up at the time, so I was taking
- 12:46Speaker 1: the honey money, I remember, and put it on their bullets.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And I remember that because I remember that first time
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm knocked on your door and I opened. All the
- 12:59Speaker 1: day will be hell, But you had all the honey
- 13:06Speaker 1: you needed. The thing put your go back to your
- 13:14Speaker 1: parents being in jail and you're putting money on their books.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They went, they weren't jail, and I put money on
- 13:20Speaker 1: their books. Yes, my father was. My father was or
- 13:25Speaker 1: the head guard at the jail they killed at the farm.
- 13:29Speaker 1: We met, they met, they met, and I kept the
- 13:33Speaker 1: jails all right? Coming up, asked the cello. At thirty
- 13:41Speaker 1: two minutes after right after this, you're listening to the
- 13:45Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, see now time for ask
- 13:49Speaker 1: the Clo, your favorite segment, Chief Love Officer. Are you ready, sir?
- 13:54Speaker 1: All right? This one is from Percy and Charlotte. Percy says,
- 13:58Speaker 1: I've been divorced for eighteen years and I wasn't a
- 14:01Speaker 1: good husband at all, But I think I'm ready to
- 14:03Speaker 1: get married again and act right. The only problem is
- 14:06Speaker 1: that my woman's ninety six year old mean blank, mama
- 14:10Speaker 1: mean but mama lives with her. If I marry this woman,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I have to live with this hateful old woman too,
- 14:18Speaker 1: even though I might not have to deal with this
- 14:20Speaker 1: old lady much longer. She's unbearable now. She curses at
- 14:24Speaker 1: me and she calls me a sorry N word whenever
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm around. Should I suck it up and deal with mama?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Or wait a while till she's gone she's It could be,
- 14:35Speaker 1: you know, just after Christmas. It could be you know,
- 14:40Speaker 1: just you know, right at the top of the new year.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You know, you never know, it's just any day. Yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 1: but I think she nailed it though when she called
- 14:47Speaker 1: you a sorry N word. She can feel something in there,
- 14:51Speaker 1: and it's a reason why you've been divorced eighteen years
- 14:54Speaker 1: and just decided to get married. So, person, I don't know,
- 14:57Speaker 1: how are you. Let's say you in your fifties or sixties.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I think based on this, if you've been divorced eighteen
- 15:05Speaker 1: years her mama ninety six, let's say it tops her
- 15:08Speaker 1: mama had at forty. That would make y'all about fifty six. Oh,
- 15:14Speaker 1: let's just say she had her at thirty, y'all would
- 15:16Speaker 1: be forty six. Yeah, you're too old for that. She
- 15:19Speaker 1: shed them peeped your game. Dog, Mama gonna be around
- 15:23Speaker 1: for a long time. Me and ask people live alone
- 15:27Speaker 1: a long time, and they'd be hateful for a long time.
- 15:30Speaker 1: You couldn't be all types of SI in words for
- 15:33Speaker 1: quite some time. All you can just learn to embrace that.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Just deal with it all. Just walk in, just morty,
- 15:40Speaker 1: miss Mayle SI in word here, Okay, all right? Ose
- 15:50Speaker 1: in Tallahassee says, I'm a fifty year fifty four year
- 15:53Speaker 1: old man and I'm dating a fifty nine year old fox.
- 15:56Speaker 1: She's my everything, and she knows that I gave her
- 16:00Speaker 1: access to my bank account, and I let her drive
- 16:02Speaker 1: my Escalade and I drive my Honda. I believe in
- 16:05Speaker 1: spoiling my woman. But she's been doing too much lately,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and it is bragging to her friends that she's got
- 16:11Speaker 1: a good one. She let a friend borrow five hundred
- 16:14Speaker 1: dollars of my money and didn't ask me up front.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I told her for a big withdrawal like that, we
- 16:19Speaker 1: should discuss it first. I told her that I'm a gentleman,
- 16:22Speaker 1: not a sucker. After that, she said we should take
- 16:25Speaker 1: a break. What did I do wrong here? You ain't
- 16:28Speaker 1: do nothing wrong? With five hundred dollars, obviously breaking point
- 16:31Speaker 1: for you. So you know, I got to respect that.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You know what I mean, take out a large withdrawal
- 16:36Speaker 1: like that, don't clear with me, well and give it
- 16:40Speaker 1: to her friend. Come on now, no, I mean really, dog,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I mean that's that's the breaking point for you. Ye
- 16:45Speaker 1: gave it to your friend without asking. She say you
- 16:47Speaker 1: think y'all need to break, take a break. Then say, okay,
- 16:49Speaker 1: let's take a break. You don't change, you know, change
- 16:53Speaker 1: that bank account, get that escalade back. See how long
- 16:55Speaker 1: she won't break, and you're right, change the bank account.
- 16:59Speaker 1: My favorite line here, Steve is I'm a gentleman, not
- 17:02Speaker 1: a sucker. I wish that was my planulation, But you
- 17:08Speaker 1: don't do this. But it's all I respect where you're
- 17:11Speaker 1: coming from. You don't do that to people, all relative,
- 17:14Speaker 1: if you're right? All right, Connie and Saint Louis says,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm married to a cheater and I've put up with
- 17:19Speaker 1: it for the past three years. I've reached my breaking
- 17:22Speaker 1: point last week after I got a voicemail message from
- 17:25Speaker 1: a woman that said she has COVID nineteen and my
- 17:28Speaker 1: husband should go get tested. He came home that day
- 17:31Speaker 1: and I had already changed the lots high five. I
- 17:37Speaker 1: let him hear the message through the screen door, and
- 17:39Speaker 1: he lied and said he didn't know that lady. He
- 17:42Speaker 1: got tested and he tested positive. I took a test
- 17:46Speaker 1: and mine was negative. Thank god. He said, I can't
- 17:49Speaker 1: prove he got COVID nineteen from her, and he wants
- 17:52Speaker 1: to come home. Should I believe him or not? Well,
- 17:54Speaker 1: he can't prove he didn't get it from her. That's
- 17:58Speaker 1: the problem. You know. You don't don't let anybody if
- 18:01Speaker 1: you can't prove I got it from her. Well, wait
- 18:04Speaker 1: a minute. Proved to me that you didn't get it
- 18:06Speaker 1: from her. That's all you need. See. Don't let nobody
- 18:09Speaker 1: flip the scrib You got COVID. She said she had
- 18:13Speaker 1: COVID and you ought to get tested. You got tested
- 18:15Speaker 1: and you got it. Now, dog on it. Partner one
- 18:18Speaker 1: and one is always too Now. If you're gonna let
- 18:21Speaker 1: a man tell you one the one is eleven, then
- 18:23Speaker 1: you stupid. You let him here through the screen. Dude screamed,
- 18:29Speaker 1: don't love her? And what's her name? Connie? He's grown
- 18:36Speaker 1: as people. They nobody name their baby Connie, and constant
- 18:41Speaker 1: Conny and old semi good and grown. Yeah, and it
- 18:49Speaker 1: ain't nobody got screamed, don't no more? Harley screamed that
- 18:57Speaker 1: that screen don't name Connie. Yeah. Wow, he wants to
- 19:03Speaker 1: come home though. Huh. Should she believe him or not?
- 19:09Speaker 1: You already know where the lady get you on the
- 19:11Speaker 1: Why would she call you with that? Yeah? Yeah, that's right.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Should I believe him or her? She's doing tracing for you.
- 19:20Speaker 1: She's tracing, yeah, contact tracing. Yes, yeah, girl, yep, saving
- 19:25Speaker 1: you some money and time and everything. But she she
- 19:28Speaker 1: must have believed her anyway, don't you think, Steve, because
- 19:31Speaker 1: she already had changed a lot. Oh, she already know. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: she knows you. You said you're married to a cheetah
- 19:38Speaker 1: and you couldn't take it no more to this and
- 19:39Speaker 1: this woman called you so how many? How many more
- 19:43Speaker 1: red flames you need? Yeah? That's why he keeps doing it,
- 19:46Speaker 1: because you keep taking him back. No consequences, right, yeah right,
- 19:50Speaker 1: get out for you? Catch something now? Yeah, man, get
- 19:57Speaker 1: out now for you? Well you kids something else that
- 20:01Speaker 1: don't have a vaccination? No time? So yeah, she's been
- 20:08Speaker 1: with him for the past three years. He's been cheating.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Enough enough enough enough, Yeah, trying to kill all this
- 20:16Speaker 1: dead ass time when they go too quick. And now
- 20:18Speaker 1: we had this odd ass movie. Right, well, what's your jay,
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's your Yeah, you can. I don't want to drag
- 20:25Speaker 1: it out, no mode, You're gonna mess around and get
- 20:27Speaker 1: something else. And now we need to move on. We
- 20:32Speaker 1: had a full minute. We could have done another one,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but y'all just be getting three because that's the average.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And then when we give above average answers, now we

- 29:14Speaker 1: Remember the press conference with Rudy Giuliani when he Giuliani,
- 29:17Speaker 1: when he had the hair dye running down the side
- 29:19Speaker 1: of his face, he looked crazy. Yeah, well, oh, Rudy
- 29:24Speaker 1: is at it again the other night in Lansing, Michigan,
- 29:27Speaker 1: during a Michigan election fraud hearing. Okay, Rudy Giuliani was
- 29:33Speaker 1: there trying to overturn presidenting like Joe Biden's election result.
- 29:37Speaker 1: And while he was speaking this is so grossy and
- 29:42Speaker 1: he passed guests twice twice while he was speaking. Yes,
- 29:47Speaker 1: Rudy's co counsul looked at him like, I know, I
- 29:52Speaker 1: know you didn't just pass guests twice, old an old one,
- 29:57Speaker 1: like real old that, Like you gotta go change after
- 30:04Speaker 1: that one. Oh no, Jay, normally we don't. Can I
- 30:12Speaker 1: just say, we normally don't do this type of humor
- 30:15Speaker 1: on it. Just don't do it. But you could hear it.
- 30:18Speaker 1: The ladies sitting next to him looked at him like, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I know, you just didn't sit up here and do
- 30:24Speaker 1: what I know. It did sound like face story. I
- 30:31Speaker 1: just yeah, Oh my gosh, you gott it's terrible. Oh yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: yes yeah. And then his his star witness. Did you
- 30:43Speaker 1: see her, the whistle blower? She looked high or drunk
- 30:48Speaker 1: or something that's wrong with her, and she was being combative,
- 30:52Speaker 1: you know with the people asking the questions. She she
- 30:56Speaker 1: was as non credible as you can get. Let's just
- 30:59Speaker 1: say that. Okay. Um, she looked a mess. Her hair
- 31:02Speaker 1: was all disheveled. It was a mess. And then it
- 31:05Speaker 1: was just a mess. Okay between the passing gas and
- 31:08Speaker 1: this this drunk looking witness, get out, just to get out,
- 31:13Speaker 1: but this crude. Yeah, this is your lead attorney. This
- 31:18Speaker 1: is your dog right here. Yeah, I know, okay, switching gears.
- 31:25Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, a volunteer Carol Baskin's Big Cat
- 31:29Speaker 1: Animal Rescue in Tampa is in the hospital and is
- 31:33Speaker 1: in danger of losing her arm after she was viciously
- 31:36Speaker 1: attacked by one of the tigers she was caring for.
- 31:39Speaker 1: The Internet. Occurred yesterday at the Tiger Sanctuary. The staffer,
- 31:43Speaker 1: whose name is Candy Cowser, reached into a tiger's enclosure
- 31:47Speaker 1: to open the door, and the tiger bit down on
- 31:51Speaker 1: her hand. It then tugged at her and nearly pulled
- 31:54Speaker 1: her entire arm off. Emergency workers rushed her to the hospital,
- 31:59Speaker 1: where she is being treated. Doctor says she is expected
- 32:02Speaker 1: to survive. Anybody with the Lion King with anybody surprised,
- 32:09Speaker 1: check that nobody on Dancing with the Stars. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: if you put your hand in the in the lion cage.
- 32:19Speaker 1: At what point do you just stop expecting the line
- 32:22Speaker 1: to be a line? Right? Oh yeah, But I'm just
- 32:26Speaker 1: saying they forget that that they're um, you know, animals,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and that they will eat you. I think, I really do.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I think it can't be your friends with one damn arm.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You just can't do it, Tiger, because then you either
- 32:43Speaker 1: got to pick the chair or the whip. Yeah, but
- 32:49Speaker 1: you can't go in here with both of them. The whip.
- 32:53Speaker 1: We gotta move on time, Steve. Now for us today's headlines.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Chair or the whip should join me? You got one now?
- 33:02Speaker 1: You can't have a good sir. No, hello, animal tamer,
- 33:06Speaker 1: not the killer. Would you take us to Methans supposed
- 33:08Speaker 1: to be tamed? You can't shoot him? Charit the whip guy,
- 33:11Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss and trip. Okay, good morning, everybody.
- 33:16Speaker 1: This is answer put the news well as British health
- 33:18Speaker 1: officials prepared for the distribution of FIS's anti COVID vaccine
- 33:22Speaker 1: in this country, there are many voicing skepticism over the
- 33:25Speaker 1: rather quick way that the newest vaccines are being developed
- 33:28Speaker 1: and Okay, However, in Washington health and Human Services. Alex
- 33:31Speaker 1: Azar says he's inspired. The approval of another independent regulatory
- 33:36Speaker 1: body should give Americans additional confidence in the quality of
- 33:41Speaker 1: such a vaccine. Well, the food and recoministration has a
- 33:44Speaker 1: week to go before public meeting is scheduled for next Thursday,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and approval of the vaccine should come shortly after that.
- 33:49Speaker 1: We're talking about this country, of course, officials say that
- 33:51Speaker 1: December fifteenth is the date they picked. That's when the
- 33:54Speaker 1: first doses could arrive in the fifty States. Meanwhile, a
- 33:57Speaker 1: big Trump supporter who donated two and a half million
- 34:00Speaker 1: to help expose and prove Trump's claims of election fraud,
- 34:04Speaker 1: he wants his money back. Frederick Eshelman, a North Carolina businessman,
- 34:08Speaker 1: says he gave the group True to Vote all that money. However,
- 34:11Speaker 1: true the voters stopped his legal actions and discontinued to
- 34:14Speaker 1: hold validate the vote campaign. Yet, Eschelman says the folks
- 34:18Speaker 1: that True to Vote are refusing to return his phone
- 34:20Speaker 1: calls or his money. Early on, he said they offered
- 34:22Speaker 1: to give him a million dollars if he'd forget about
- 34:24Speaker 1: suing him. He refused. Eschelman says, I want my full
- 34:27Speaker 1: two and a half mill back. Kyle Rittenhouse, the seventeen
- 34:31Speaker 1: year old white gunman charged with killing two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin,
- 34:35Speaker 1: who were taking part in a Black Lives Matter protest
- 34:38Speaker 1: in the wake of yet another police shooting of an
- 34:40Speaker 1: unarmed black man. Rittenhouse faces charges a possession of a
- 34:43Speaker 1: dangerous weapon and fell in the attempt at homicide, among
- 34:46Speaker 1: other things. He was in court yesterday. He's been out
- 34:48Speaker 1: on two million dollars bail thanks to right wing groups,
- 34:51Speaker 1: racist groups and former child actor Ricky Schroeder remember him
- 34:55Speaker 1: from the eighties TV shows Silver Spoons. He donated a
- 34:57Speaker 1: lot of money also to get Rittenhouse out on the street.
- 35:01Speaker 1: According to the Huffington Post, they now former Louisville copp
- 35:04Speaker 1: involved in the police killing of Brianna Taylor now being
- 35:07Speaker 1: sued for sexual assault. Brett Hankinson, one of the three
- 35:10Speaker 1: white cops involved in poor Brianna's murder, is being sued
- 35:13Speaker 1: by a woman who claims that he used his power
- 35:15Speaker 1: as a police officer to pray and later sexually assault
- 35:19Speaker 1: her two years ago. Several other women describe what they
- 35:22Speaker 1: say has been Hankinson's predatory behavior and testimonials they'd say
- 35:25Speaker 1: he's he's very much like that. According to BuzzFeed, a
- 35:28Speaker 1: black man in La who witnesses say was just trying
- 35:31Speaker 1: to flag down a patrol car after a crash was
- 35:34Speaker 1: suddenly surrounded by four La Sheriff's deputies and tazed to
- 35:38Speaker 1: the ground for no reason. Footage of the incident posted
- 35:41Speaker 1: on Twitter. The La County Sheriff's Department says it's launching investigation.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You know, finally, today's National Cookie Day. That guy loves cookies,
- 35:53Speaker 1: No kidding. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Mourning Show. Okay, Steve,
- 36:01Speaker 1: it's time for you to um introduce your friend. You
- 36:05Speaker 1: hired him, Jay Anthony Brown. Gentleman ain't gonna need it
- 36:09Speaker 1: going through it here he is Jathony Brown. Okay, I
- 36:13Speaker 1: have an announcement to make that. You know that last
- 36:16Speaker 1: week I was working on The Big Black Nutcracker. Well,
- 36:19Speaker 1: things just went crazy. So we're out of production. I'm
- 36:23Speaker 1: done with dad contracts. It just went nuts. It just
- 36:27Speaker 1: totally went nuts. I'm working on a new production now.
- 36:30Speaker 1: It's called How the Grinch Got His Ass Whoop, and
- 36:33Speaker 1: so it's gonna Disney movie they really Yeah, Disney movie.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I'm talking to people at Disney and it stars mc
- 36:43Speaker 1: hammer And so mc hammer is in the house and
- 36:46Speaker 1: you know how the Grinch comes in this deal the stuff.
- 36:49Speaker 1: And when he comes in, he starts to sing. This
- 36:52Speaker 1: is the first song of the movie of the thing.
- 36:54Speaker 1: He starts singing, can't touch that, you can't touch that.
- 36:56Speaker 1: So he stops the Grinch from taking stuff. You can't
- 36:59Speaker 1: touch that again. Now here's the thing right here. I'm
- 37:03Speaker 1: looking for different people to play the part of Cindy
- 37:06Speaker 1: lou who and I'm going with two people, the little girl, right,
- 37:10Speaker 1: I'm going with two people. I want somebody light skin
- 37:13Speaker 1: because when you put that green paint on it, I
- 37:16Speaker 1: can't use a dark skinned person. So I'm looking for
- 37:19Speaker 1: a light skinned person with green eyes because the play
- 37:22Speaker 1: the part with the play the part when we do
- 37:25Speaker 1: the close ups, now when we do the ass whooping part.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Question is the reason you have to found the light
- 37:31Speaker 1: skinning person because you put the green makeup on them,
- 37:34Speaker 1: it'll be purple, no, it'll go green, but black, dark,
- 37:37Speaker 1: dark people can't take that that green paint. Steve George Wallace, Yeah,
- 37:42Speaker 1: it's so, it's a it doesn't work, so I gotta
- 37:45Speaker 1: have light skin. So yeah, so anyway, anyway, so the
- 37:53Speaker 1: part of the the action part, all the action part
- 37:56Speaker 1: of the ass whooping part, because I need somebody who
- 37:59Speaker 1: can really whoop ass, who could really whoop the Grinch's ass,
- 38:03Speaker 1: is gonna be played by Sheryl Underwood because she really
- 38:09Speaker 1: she will really put foot in the Grinch's ass. And now,
- 38:14Speaker 1: like before, Kurt Franklin is in this. He played Jesus.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I know, I know the baby Jesus is not in there,
- 38:22Speaker 1: but as he said, he'd do it for in my part.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Now here's the most important part, the part of the Grinch.
- 38:28Speaker 1: The part of the Grinch just is very very The
- 38:31Speaker 1: part of the Grinch will be played by Nate Robinson
- 38:35Speaker 1: because don't know what I know. Yeah, nobody knows how
- 38:42Speaker 1: to take a serious ass swooping like name. So tongue
- 38:50Speaker 1: to the Disney people is gonna be on on ice
- 38:53Speaker 1: production when it's not gonna be movie, it's gonna be
- 38:55Speaker 1: on ice. So the Grinch gets his ass whoop on ice.
- 38:59Speaker 1: So look out for Nate Robinsons. We'll paid party Grinch.
- 39:02Speaker 1: He will definitely get it. As I'm taking auditions. Now
- 39:05Speaker 1: that's what I'm working on. Thank you, Jake, coming up
- 39:07Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:15Speaker 1: All right. So while many couples have been at each
- 39:19Speaker 1: other's throats during the lockdown, George and Amal Clooney have
- 39:23Speaker 1: been having a grand old time, it seems, he tells people.
- 39:26Speaker 1: He tells People Magazine. You know, everybody's been slammed together
- 39:29Speaker 1: because of the coronavirus and lots of friends. Relationships have
- 39:33Speaker 1: been tested. For us, it's been really easy. We haven't
- 39:38Speaker 1: ever had an argument. Um, And that's cool. Yeah, this
- 39:42Speaker 1: is what George Clooney said. That's just damns. We love
- 39:47Speaker 1: George Clooney. George Clooney, damn. But we love him though
- 39:54Speaker 1: for so many reasons. Remember the story that he gave
- 39:57Speaker 1: fourteen of his friends a million dollars, had each one
- 40:00Speaker 1: of them a suitcase filled with one million dollars worth
- 40:03Speaker 1: of twenty dollars bills. That's something. Wow, I want to
- 40:06Speaker 1: ask the question that you don't You don't think him
- 40:09Speaker 1: and his wife had an argument that yea, but that
- 40:12Speaker 1: was before you want to ask ye I want to
- 40:17Speaker 1: ask a question about that to uh CLO officer the
- 40:23Speaker 1: chief then, because I couldn't get in because that was
- 40:26Speaker 1: a very ships. But here here's a question. Do you
- 40:28Speaker 1: think there'll be any way you'll be giving us like
- 40:32Speaker 1: each person? Um, maybe not a million, because I don't,
- 40:36Speaker 1: you know, want absolutely money absolutely now, I'm not finished.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I'm not finished, not finished. But maybe I take a
- 40:42Speaker 1: hundred thousand and then I'm sure everybody else will be
- 40:44Speaker 1: happy with just fifty because I'm like a real close
- 40:48Speaker 1: friend and I've known you fucking longtown. What do you
- 40:50Speaker 1: think about that? Yeah, I think it'd be great as
- 40:53Speaker 1: long as you get the girls agree with it. I
- 40:54Speaker 1: worked that out. Just no, No, we won't the same amount.
- 41:00Speaker 1: He didn't differentiate, George didn't. Okay, Okay, Then if we
- 41:05Speaker 1: don't get that much, how much do you think go
- 41:08Speaker 1: down the line? How much? I know we're not gonna
- 41:10Speaker 1: get it, But what do you think I know it's
- 41:13Speaker 1: not gonna happen. Speak for your worth worth Okay, okay, okay,
- 41:18Speaker 1: So just give me the name. Yeah, okay, uh Tommy,
- 41:23Speaker 1: Tommy first, Timmy seventeen hundred, cool seventeen a million, Steves okay,
- 41:36Speaker 1: seven all right, all right, Junior, what would Junior get? Junior? Wow, Junior?
- 41:48Speaker 1: That what you you? Yeah? You bet? You bet? Not
- 41:53Speaker 1: tell Timmy you gave me? Don't give it. I'm gonna
- 41:55Speaker 1: write up a note out right in front of everybody.
- 42:04Speaker 1: All right, how much is Carla gonna get? Carl Collar
- 42:07Speaker 1: gona get? What you college? Three seventy five three hund
- 42:11Speaker 1: five thousand, I take it all right? Uh, Shirley Strawbary,
- 42:21Speaker 1: what suna familiar? How she's been with me to hate? Though?
- 42:31Speaker 1: I know? All right here, come, all right. We've been
- 42:39Speaker 1: knowing each other for a long time, long time. We
- 42:42Speaker 1: met back when my you know what I was doing
- 42:45Speaker 1: selling be honey in my room to make money, and
- 42:48Speaker 1: we started off together. You wouldn't mean what what would be?
- 42:54Speaker 1: What would you give me? That's what? Okay? Now, before
- 42:57Speaker 1: you said that I was gonna give you sixteen I
- 43:03Speaker 1: used the last person on the show and you hardly
- 43:05Speaker 1: ever here. But I do have to consider the fact
- 43:12Speaker 1: that you taught me comedy. You really did see me
- 43:15Speaker 1: on this wing and taught me the coming. Yeah yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Until you said that right there, I was just gonna
- 43:22Speaker 1: be You did have me, and so I probably had
- 43:26Speaker 1: to give you jail the real dog sixteen. For what
- 43:33Speaker 1: I've earned in my lifetime and what you did for me,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I probably had to give you ten million. Let me,
- 43:43Speaker 1: is there anyway? Is there any way you're gonna call
- 43:46Speaker 1: me when the others are not around? And maybe we
- 43:49Speaker 1: did work that out so that we just had them
- 43:51Speaker 1: out of it altogether, like they don't know. He man,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I'm not even looking at your ten mill. I gotta
- 43:59Speaker 1: hurt all right. Coming up next, Junior is in for
- 44:05Speaker 1: the nephew with the frank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:08Speaker 1: you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 44:13Speaker 1: top of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's
- 44:16Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters subject Election day was the worst day
- 44:22Speaker 1: of my life? What can you hear this letter? But first,

- 52:02Speaker 1: metropolitan it really is, especially Johannesburg and Derby and Kate beautiful,
- 52:08Speaker 1: der is beautiful. It's unbelievable. Unbelievable, man, it's crazy. Johannesburg, man,
- 52:16Speaker 1: the dog Gone restaurants, just unbelievable, man, unbelievable food. And
- 52:22Speaker 1: that's what people think. That's what people think. That's exactly
- 52:26Speaker 1: what it's primitive and all of them walking around and
- 52:30Speaker 1: elephants just walking around. And yeah, now when you go
- 52:34Speaker 1: way out three hours outside of town. Oh yeah, oh
- 52:39Speaker 1: you knew what you want out there? Now, what do

- 54:29Speaker 1: All Right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry Letter. Well,
- 54:31Speaker 1: my good friends, Shirley straw Theory, thank you, junior subject.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Election Day was the worst day of my life. Dear
- 54:39Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty seven year old woman and
- 54:42Speaker 1: I have three children by my ex boyfriend. I say
- 54:46Speaker 1: X because we just broke up on election Day. We
- 54:50Speaker 1: had been together for nine years and started a family together,
- 54:53Speaker 1: but things started going downhill recently. A few years ago,
- 54:57Speaker 1: we moved to a new city and we both had
- 54:59Speaker 1: great job and we opened a small business together. We
- 55:02Speaker 1: were finally getting the financial freedom that we needed for
- 55:05Speaker 1: our family, so I thought it was a perfect time
- 55:08Speaker 1: for us to get married. I was so wrong. I
- 55:12Speaker 1: found out on election day that he was cheating on
- 55:15Speaker 1: me with one of our employees, and I was shocked
- 55:18Speaker 1: but not surprised. I told him to get out and
- 55:21Speaker 1: I put all of his clothes outside on the porch.
- 55:25Speaker 1: The next day, he went public with his new girlfriend.
- 55:28Speaker 1: He didn't take my feelings or the kid's feelings into consideration.
- 55:32Speaker 1: He moved in with his new girl and her child.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He thinks I should accept everything and move on, but
- 55:38Speaker 1: I already have a problem with the co parenting, and
- 55:41Speaker 1: he left me with our shared bills and living expenses.
- 55:44Speaker 1: We have three children that no longer have a father
- 55:47Speaker 1: in the home, and he expects them to come stay
- 55:49Speaker 1: with him at this other woman's house. This is this
- 55:52Speaker 1: all just happened on election day, and he's already pressing
- 55:55Speaker 1: me to see the children. I told him, no, it's
- 55:58Speaker 1: too soon, and he went off me. My question to
- 56:01Speaker 1: you is what do I do now. It's the best
- 56:03Speaker 1: way to co parent in this situation. I want to
- 56:06Speaker 1: remain civil with him, but this is too much. Yeah,
- 56:10Speaker 1: this is way too much. First of all, I am
- 56:12Speaker 1: sorry that this happened on election day, and I hope
- 56:15Speaker 1: this does not mean you're not going to go out
- 56:17Speaker 1: and vote and everything. We gotta get that straight. It
- 56:20Speaker 1: just happened on that day, Okay, but don't let election
- 56:23Speaker 1: day be you know, traumatic for you or anything like that.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Go ahead and go and go vote. And I'm sorry
- 56:30Speaker 1: that he did this to you and the kids. I
- 56:32Speaker 1: really am, Yeah, Steve, I said that because you know,
- 56:36Speaker 1: the election day, whenever she thinks about it. Now, she's
- 56:38Speaker 1: going to think about the breakup. You know that association.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I guess the first thing I would do. The first
- 56:46Speaker 1: thing I would do is file for child support because
- 56:49Speaker 1: he's out, he's living with someone else and their child.
- 56:53Speaker 1: File for child support. Because he's right, you should move on.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You said, you guys had great jobs, You have a
- 56:59Speaker 1: business us and all of that. So you know, file
- 57:02Speaker 1: for child support. Make him start paying now, and you
- 57:06Speaker 1: need some kind of financial help with the children. If
- 57:09Speaker 1: this is how he treats you after nine years and
- 57:11Speaker 1: three kids, he would have been a crappy husband anyway.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know, so it's it's a good thing
- 57:18Speaker 1: you didn't marry this guy. He's disrespectful, and you're right,
- 57:21Speaker 1: this is all too soon. He moved in with this
- 57:24Speaker 1: woman the next day, and this woman is your employee.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I can see what I would be shocked and surprised
- 57:32Speaker 1: this This woman is out of control and out of order.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You haven't had time to process any of this because
- 57:40Speaker 1: he's already moved in and moved on. Thank God you
- 57:44Speaker 1: didn't marry him. He's a loser. I just think, and
- 57:47Speaker 1: just remember when it comes to the kids, don't let
- 57:50Speaker 1: them stay away from their dad too long. Okay, don't
- 57:52Speaker 1: punish him by using the kids. You know some women
- 57:56Speaker 1: do that when they're bitter. Please don't do that. Go
- 57:58Speaker 1: through the court system, get full or joint custody, and
- 58:01Speaker 1: just try to make this as painless and as possible
- 58:05Speaker 1: for the kids. You know, if you didn't have three
- 58:07Speaker 1: kids involved, it would probably be maybe a different response
- 58:11Speaker 1: for me. But you gotta be mindful of the children.
- 58:14Speaker 1: You really really do in this situation. But first of all,
- 58:17Speaker 1: make sure that he's gonna pay some child support. That's
- 58:20Speaker 1: number one for me. Steve. Wow, this letter right here
- 58:27Speaker 1: is really a trill because I'm gonna have to tell
- 58:31Speaker 1: you something. System. You're twenty seven years old with three
- 58:34Speaker 1: kids by your ex boyfriend because y'all broke up on
- 58:37Speaker 1: election Dick that day, y'all been together nine years and
- 58:41Speaker 1: started a family together. Now, let me stop right here.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Three kids, nine years, You waited too long for a commitment. Now,
- 58:52Speaker 1: I know this is water over the damn but I'm
- 58:55Speaker 1: just talking to women out there who are in similar situations.
- 59:01Speaker 1: You can't just play house with these men like this,
- 59:04Speaker 1: because when you get to the point where it's time
- 59:06Speaker 1: to make a decision where he did, where he gonna
- 59:08Speaker 1: just go his own way, there has to be a
- 59:11Speaker 1: consequence for that. Seeing. One thing about marriage is it
- 59:15Speaker 1: makes you fight a little bit harder. It makes you
- 59:19Speaker 1: have to consider way with decisions adverse actions. Marriage causes
- 59:27Speaker 1: you to pause and think about the cost or the repercussions.
- 59:33Speaker 1: But you don't have that because you waited too long
- 59:36Speaker 1: to get it. You know, you just I'm sorry, y'all.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Moved to a new city, great jobs, got the financial
- 59:43Speaker 1: freedom you needed. So you thought, and you thought it
- 59:47Speaker 1: was a perfect time for us to get married. This
- 59:49Speaker 1: the first time you thought it was a good time
- 59:50Speaker 1: to get married. Nine years and three kids later, this
- 59:54Speaker 1: is the perfect time. See, that's what I mean. You know,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and you say I was so wrong, And then you
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: found on election day he was cheating, and we'll get
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: into that. Well, yeah, we'll have heard too if Steve's
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Today's subject election day was the worst day of my life.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Subject Election Day was the worst day of my life.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: This is a letter about this twenty seven year old
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: woman who I really feel for the past three kids
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: by her ex boyfriend, and she say X because they
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: broke up on election Day. Now they've been together nine
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: years and they started a family. I said early, and
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I'll reiterate three kids nine years. You waited too long
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: to get a commitment. See, guys can just walk away
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: from you when they no commitment when you're married is different.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: You got to figure it out. You got to do
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: some arithmetic for you leave. You gotta get stuff figured out.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You got to file it's consequences. You can't play house
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: with people like this man. You just can't. I'm sorry,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: that's not the way it's really set up. And then
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: you run into a guy like this. Now, after y'all
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: moved to a new city, you got the financial freedom
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: you thought, and you thought it was a perfect time
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for y'all are getting married, three kids and nine years
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: later this. I know this is not the first time
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you bought this subject up. I know it's not the
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: first time you thought it was a perfect time. Oh,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: he'd been telling you, not chet, not chet, not chet,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: we gotta get it together, we gotta get together. Well,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: now you got it together, and you thought it was
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: perfect time. And then you said I was so wrong.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You found out on election day that he was cheating
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: on me with one of our employees. I was shocked,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: but not surprised. Shocked and surprised kind of sound like
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the same thing to me. So I don't know what
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you meant by that. I don't know if you were
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: shocked when you found out, but you wasn't that shocked.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Obviously felt something was going on between them. Obviously there's
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: been some infidelity before. Yeah, yeah, obviously for you to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: be shocked but not surprised because obviously probably I'm saying this,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I don't know this, but he's probably done it before.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I told him to get out, put all his clothes
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: outside on the porch. Next day he went in public
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: with his new girlfriend. He's so he'd been just waiting
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: on the house. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Oh you put me out.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I'm in boom. He didn't take my feelings on the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: kid's feelings any consideration, No, he didn't. He moved in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: with his new girl and her child. He thinks I
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: should accept everything and move on. And that's hard to
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: do because you were shocked, but you wasn't surprised. So
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: I already have a problem with coparing and he left
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: me with our shared bills and living expenses. We have
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: chio children, no longer have a father at home, and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: they expect him to come and stay with him at
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: this other woman's house. Okay. See, I don't know what
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: states that's happened in, but in most states there's this
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: thing called common law, and if you've been together with
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: somebody and you take them to court, you not only
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: can get some type of child support, but you probably
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: qualify for some type of spousal support, even though you
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: weren't legally married. But no man can leave you with
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: a set of shared bills and living expenses and just
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: go on about his way. That's not a court in
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the world that's gonna let a man get away with that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I can promise you that. So you have a lot
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: of angles you can take, and you should take them,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: because now he expects them to come and stay with
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: him at the other woman's house. Now, Shirley got a
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: point about you don't want to use the kids as
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: pawns and keep the kids working their father. But hold up, dog,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you can't have you can't can eat it too. Now
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you didn't want the family, remember, now all of a
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: sudden you want the family. So now women women, women
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: gonna and you ain't paying no bills around here. You
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: ain't helping out. It's kind of hard dog. Yeah, and
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: this all just happened on election day. That's the yeah. Now, Sirley, say,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: just keep voting no matter what. We don't even really
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: give a damn about the election in this way. She
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: mentioned election, well, she mentioned it, Sherley, and I just
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: wanted you to tell hoody that vote it. What's important here.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: They don't have an election that unless stay in Georgia.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Her ass ain't got to vote for me. It's always
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: imp she and Georgia. She gotta get ass back down
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: there because you got it from Georgia. You know. I
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: told him, no, it's too soon, and he went off
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: on me. He's been pressing me about seeing the kids.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: My question you you is what do I do now?
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: What's the best way to compare it in this situation?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Shirley was right about it. You got to let him
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: see the kids. But I want to remain civil with him.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But he wasn't civil to you. What see, y'all, y'all
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: see you you're being civil, But sometimes you have to
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: make the other person be civil. See, if he was
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: civil to you, he'd pay his part of the shared bills,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: he would pay his part of the living expense. I'm
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: assuming y'all. Room, y'all got a house, y'all got a
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: house together something. He just a'm bouncing now he living
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: with this other girl and this other baby. No, you
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: have to help him be civil. You have to take
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: him to car for child support and sposal support. And
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: once your lawyer explains that he up and left with
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: another woman and a child, didn't, he gonna have to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: pay all these bills. Okay, So now that's what I
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: would do if I would. You and you do have
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to move on because he's gone. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: That's the reality of it. He is gone. He ain't
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: coming back. He move in with her. Yeah, all right,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: It's Steve HARVEFM on Instagram and Facebook, and please don't
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Now.

- 1:06:36Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: sports talk with Junior. What you got for its? Junior A. Shirley.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: The NBA offseason is starting to heat up. The free
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: agency is picking up, and I wish my last name
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: was A Davis because Anthony Davis agreed to a five
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: wile hundred and ninety million dollar deal with the Los
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Angeles Lakers. This is one night play basketball for five years.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I could do it. I could do it now. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I think a lot of money. There's a lot of
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: one hundred ninety billions. But man, Lebron James has signed
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: a two year extension for eighty five million dollars lower.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: And they did something that's really interested. They broke down
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Lebron James money. This is crazy. This man makes one
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: dollar and thirty six second one dollars and thirty six
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: cent every second. Every minute, he making eighty two dollars
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: every hour. He making four thousand, eight hundred and ninety
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: one dollars every day. The man make one hundred and
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: seventeen thousand, three hundred ninety seven dollars a month, he
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: making three point five seven and every two years eighty
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: five point seven million. I ain't mad at you, Lebron,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: go ahead for two more years, and then you know
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the Russell Westbrook has been traded from the Houston Rockets
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to the Washington Boo, yeah he did. He on man
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: to the water. Damn bullet. Who y'all got now, John, Yeah,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: they're taking they are taking played in two years. Well,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I know, but we need somebody. We just need somebody.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I hope he healthy, though, But John Waller band for
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: he is. He ain't no damn Westbrook though that well,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you know, we still got James Harden so hard and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: meanwhile play well, but he is James and the ass
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: he didn't ask to be out. Y'all got people in
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: here leaving it and people that don't want to be
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: there because your damn fucking little owner as a Trump supporter, Well,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: well he there right now though until he leaves, he
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: still played for the Rockets. Now, how good he gonna play?
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: We don't know he gonna do well for eighty two games,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: but then we get the playoffs. Who have a problem.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I know, I know that now he's he'd be shorting
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: himself out. You know, he'd be tired that time player.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: He didn't shot at that thing. Throw to him. Well,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: but in Houston though, he's open. The restaurant change has
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: the call thirteen. He's open, restaurant call thirt hard part restaurant.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: That's his number. It's needed another name. That's his number.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: That's his number, restaurant people. That's all. That's where was
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: your question? Jay? Oh? The three ball Well, we don't
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: have enough time. The three ball boys are playing? Are
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: they that good? Because I are they really that good?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: You don't make an NBA team unless you can do something. Okay,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: the one that just got drafted is supposed to be excellent,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: supposed to be busy. All right, thank you, guys. Coming

- 1:16:33Speaker 1: he Giuliani. When he had the hair dye running down
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: the side of his face, he looked crazy. Yeah, well, oh,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Rudy is at it again. The other night in Lansing, Michigan,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: during a Michigan election fraud hearing Okay, Rudy Giuliani was
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: there trying to overturn presenting like Joe Biden's election result,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: and while he was speaking this is so grossy, he
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: passed guests twice. Wife speaking yes, Rudy's co console looked
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: at him like, I know, I know you didn't just
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: pass gas twice old, like an old one, like real old.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: What the hell was that? Like, you gotta go change
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: after that one? Oh no, get up, Jay. Normally we don't.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Can I just say, we normally don't do this type
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: of humor on it. Don't do it, but you could
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: hear it. The ladies sitting next to him looked at
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: him like, yeah, I know, you just didn't sit up
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: here and do what I know it did sound like
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: and face, I didn't hear this story. I just yeah,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you got got it's terrible. Oh yeah,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: yes yeah. And then his his star witness, did you
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: see her the blore? She she looked high or drunk
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: or something that's wrong with her, and she was being combative,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you know with the people asking the questions. She was
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: as as non credible as you can get. Let's just
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: say that, okay. Um, she looked a mess. Her hair
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: was all disheveled. It was a mess. And then it
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: was just a mess. Okay, between the passing gas and
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: this witnes, this drunk looking witness, get out, just get out.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: But this your crude. Yeah, this is your lead attorney.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: This is your dog right here. Yeah, I know, okay,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: switching gears. In other entertainment news, a volunteer Carol Baskin's
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Big Cat Animal Rescue in Tampa is in the hospital
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: and is in danger of losing her arm after she
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: was viciously attacked by one of the tigers she was
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: caring for. The incident occurred yesterday at the tiger sanctuary.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: The staffer, whose name is Candy Cowser, reached into a
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: tiger's enclosure to open the door, and the tiger bit
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: down on her hand. It then tugged at her and
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: nearly pulled her entire arm off. Emergency workers rushed her
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: to the hospital where she is being treated. Doctor says
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: she is expected to survive. Coming up, it's our last
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: break of the day. It is the last break of
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: the day. Damn it, deal with it, okay. And of
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: course we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: our fearless leader, the captain of this ship right here.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And I did say ship. Steve Harvey's closing remarks at
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. While the countdown
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: is on for the Georgia's Senate runoff races. Please you
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: gotta request your ballot now because December seventh is the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: voter registration deadline. We want everyone to get registered to vote. Okay.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: There's a major election coming up in Georgia and we
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: need to be a part of that. Okay. December seventh
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: again is the registration deadline. December fourteenth through the thirty
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: first is early voting. Okay, do not wait till the
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: last minute. Please go ahead and early vote. And then
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: January fifth, of course, twenty twenty one is election day.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: We're voting for Raphael Warnock and John Assaf because we
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: need them in Washington, d C. In the Senate so
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: they can help Joe Biden. You know, he has a
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: big agenda. He's inheriting a mess. He needs all the
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: help he can get, you know, a hot yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: So come on, Georgia, we need you right now. Phase
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: two of this voting scenario for this year. All right, hey, y'all,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: we do we have to vote. We've got to turn
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: this thing around. You know what's really gotten me about
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: this whole thing, my clothes remarks, is just this right here.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: You know, when Trump first came up with the term
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: fake news, and what he did was anybody who wrote
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: anything that was against him, counter to him, and unflattering
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to him, no matter what it was, no matter how
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: factual or truthful it was, it simply got called fake news,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to the point where fake news has become a term.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: It's an actual term now. I hear Republicans use it
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: all the time. People they say fake news. But what
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: he did was even more cunny. He went on Fox.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: And since he's labeled every other liberal or mainstream media
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: company fake news. When he goes on Fox, anything he says,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: no matter how untruthful, no facts behind it, or just
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: flat out lies, that's not fake news. What's really tripped
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: me out. Is the number of people who don't say
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: see that, who have just fallen gullible to that man.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: It's I've never seen more people follow people blindly. It's
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: like when you're driving down the freeway and you get
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to an exit and all of a sudden it slows
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: down and you're driving along and you see people for
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: a mile and a half in this single file line
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: waiting to get off this exit, waiting on my turn,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: And I go, man, who are these people that's a
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: mile and a half from the exit that's just sitting
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: in this line like this? Well, it's them. It's sad
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: that a lot of people don't know how to think
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: for themselves and will actually listen and believe anything that
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: somebody else tells them to. It's just been alarming the
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: sheer number of people to the point where this man
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: has lost the election and now he's saying it's a
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: complete fraud, so he's willing to bring down the whole
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: democratic system because he lost in the election. Now, when
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Hillary lost the election by way less of a margin
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: in these battleground states, and she won the popular vote
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: by three million, she didn't say a word. She just
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: went on and took it. He has lost. Now it's
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I think it's over seven million votes. He's losing the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: popular vote by he's lost the elector vote by the
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: same count. He beat Hillary Clinton by three hundred and
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: sixty electron and he said it was a landslide. Well,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: now that this landslide has turned into his own personal
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: ass whipping all of a sudden, it's a problem with
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the election. The part that's really troubling me is not him.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: It's the people who believe him, who go along with him. Now,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: when Donald Trump is out of office, and he will
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: be out of office on the twentieth of January, I
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: really want to deal with these power politicians who are remaining.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Are they gonna forever be afraid of Donald Trump. I've
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: never seen a larger group of so called Christian people
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: be more afraid of another man, and consider the man
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: that they're looking at bigger than the God they claim
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: to serve. I've never seen it in an alarming number
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: like this, because that's the Republican agenda with God fearing
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: conservative Christian people. And I don't doubt that you are,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: and I don't have a problem with you be in that,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: But when you follow a man more than you follow
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: your God. When you let that man way of thinking
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: override what you learned as a person about being a
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Christian in the first place. I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: I don't get it. That's the saddest thing. And it's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: tens of millions of them out there. That's the sad
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: part of all this. And even though Joe Biden won
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: the election, he's left with a huge mess. This country
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: is more divided. Like President Obama said when we talk,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: it's more divided than ever before. He's never seen it
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: like this, and it's because this guy at the top,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: he loves division. He loves conflict. That's his specialty, and
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: he creates the conflict just to get people on his side.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Doesn't matter that he's gonna lay all these people by
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: the wayside. Y'all, y'all Trump supporters, listen to me. He
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: ain't said a word about the stimulus package. Don't y'all know,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: y'all suffering just like Democrats. He ain't said a word
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: about the pandemic. Don't y'all know that we're getting sick
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: and we're dying, just like the Democrats, Republicans. You're getting sick,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: and you're dying just like Republicans. You're unemployed, just like
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: the Democrats, you really are. And the dude that you
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: are afraid of that you worship board and you will
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: then you do your own faith. He don't care. He
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: don't care. Man, this is a sad thing. Man. I've
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: never seen it like this before. But I will never
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: let him man be bigger than my God. I give
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: you my word on that. I don't care who he is.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: That's it. See y'all Monday. Amen. Amen for all Steve
