- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 5: the water of the moat looking come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you'll think, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and only Steve Harbin got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show, keep saying it can't stop. Man, oh man,
- 2:14Speaker 7: oh man, what a journey it has been. I thank
- 2:17Speaker 7: God for every single step of the way. I learned
- 2:19Speaker 7: to thank him for the bad times too, because it
- 2:23Speaker 7: taught me something. All the bad times, all the failures,
- 2:26Speaker 7: they became valuable experiences in my life. Every time I failed,
- 2:30Speaker 7: I learned a little bit more about getting up. Every
- 2:33Speaker 7: time I was told no, it moved me one step
- 2:36Speaker 7: closer to yes. It made me stronger, It toughened my skin.
- 2:40Speaker 7: It made me learn how to deal with haters. It
- 2:42Speaker 7: made me learn how to deal with people who don't
- 2:45Speaker 7: have your best interest at heart. Man, ain't y'all all
- 2:48Speaker 7: out there feeling me on this one right here. It
- 2:51Speaker 7: teaches you who is who in your life. It shows
- 2:54Speaker 7: you who you can depend on and who you came.
- 2:57Speaker 7: And at the end of the day, what has taught
- 2:59Speaker 7: me more of all my hardships in my life?
- 3:02Speaker 2: And it's really about me and God.
- 3:04Speaker 7: That is the one factor that has been never changed
- 3:08Speaker 7: in my life. God has always been the same for
- 3:12Speaker 7: me and for you and for all of us. His
- 3:16Speaker 7: word is true. It don't waiver, it don't shake. You
- 3:20Speaker 7: can shape it, readjust it if you want to. It
- 3:23Speaker 7: is really the way it's written, It really is. You
- 3:26Speaker 7: have your version of it if you want to. But
- 3:28Speaker 7: if you just read it the way it is, it's
- 3:30Speaker 7: real clear. Ain't no loopholes in it. Every time you
- 3:34Speaker 7: jump through a loophole, there's something over there written that
- 3:36Speaker 7: that count as that. So is what I want to
- 3:39Speaker 7: get to today. Listen to me. You got it within you?
- 3:44Speaker 7: Oh it's there, Just use it. Listen to me close.
- 3:49Speaker 7: You got it within you. Oh it's there, Just use it.
- 3:55Speaker 7: If you hear me clearly, I'm really finn to show
- 3:57Speaker 7: you something this morning. You got it within you?
- 4:01Speaker 6: Oh?
- 4:01Speaker 7: Is that just use it, Steve, what you're talking about. See,
- 4:06Speaker 7: here's what's wrong with a lot of people. Here's what's
- 4:09Speaker 7: stopping so many people. You keep looking. We keep looking
- 4:15Speaker 7: for others to save us. We keep looking for someone
- 4:20Speaker 7: else to rescue us. We always looking for some group
- 4:25Speaker 7: of people or somebody to accept us. We keep looking
- 4:29Speaker 7: for someone else's approval. We always looking for some group
- 4:35Speaker 7: or somebody to deliver us, somebody, some group of people
- 4:39Speaker 7: to give us credibility, somebody or some group of people
- 4:45Speaker 7: who says we matter. We spend so much time right there,
- 4:50Speaker 7: and when the cavalry don't come over the hill, when
- 4:53Speaker 7: it ain't no saving, it ain't no deliverance, And hey,
- 4:56Speaker 7: you don't get accepted, and don't nobody really come to
- 5:00Speaker 7: save you, and there're nobody vouching for you and giving
- 5:02Speaker 7: you credibility and throw you into something naw, you into
- 5:06Speaker 7: this little state of man.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm gonna do. Oh you got
- 5:10Speaker 2: it within you, Oh it's there. Just use it. You
- 5:14Speaker 2: want to know what the real deal is, y'all? It's
- 5:17Speaker 2: you and God, and it's the God in you. Man.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I wish I could explain this right to you today.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I want you to fill me on this right here, and.
- 5:29Speaker 7: When you shake everything out the way, get rid of
- 5:32Speaker 7: all your expectations of people. The relationship you thought was
- 5:35Speaker 7: gonna last forever that didn't make it, the child that
- 5:38Speaker 7: you wanted to be, this that turned out to be that,
- 5:41Speaker 7: your friend you thought was your friend, that stabbed you
- 5:43Speaker 7: in the back.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You found out they wouldn't.
- 5:45Speaker 7: The job you thought was gonna keep you and you'd
- 5:47Speaker 7: retire on they didn't closed down, gave you a pink slip.
- 5:51Speaker 2: All of this.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Man that promised that somebody told you they was gonna
- 5:54Speaker 7: loan you this money, and on loan day they say
- 5:56Speaker 7: they ain't got it. Oh man, oh man, oh man.
- 6:00Speaker 7: This money you thought was gonna come through on this check,
- 6:02Speaker 7: The check ain't there? Oh man. How many disappointments in
- 6:06Speaker 7: life can you get? You thought you had enough credit
- 6:09Speaker 7: hour was to graduate. You found out two weeks before
- 6:12Speaker 7: you didn't. You can't graduate. Oh listen here, man, what's
- 6:14Speaker 7: gonna helpen man? Look at the disappointment in my life
- 6:17Speaker 7: right now? But let me explain something to you. When
- 6:21Speaker 7: you get rid of all of that, guess what you
- 6:24Speaker 7: really got? You got God, that's the whole enchilada. Baby,
- 6:28Speaker 7: that's the ball of wax. That's the monkeys in the barrel,
- 6:30Speaker 7: that's the bag of chips. Listen to me. If you
- 6:34Speaker 7: got God, do you understand that that's sufficient? That that
- 6:38Speaker 7: say all you need? Can you feel me now? You
- 6:42Speaker 7: and God and the God in you, it's really what
- 6:46Speaker 7: you need. Stop looking for all these outside sources for approval,
- 6:51Speaker 7: to gain acceptance, to get credibility, somebody to save you.
- 6:55Speaker 7: The calvari coming over the hill. Why won't they recognize me?
- 6:58Speaker 7: Why won't they give me close you? Why they fired me?
- 7:02Speaker 7: Why they forek closing on my house? Don't they know
- 7:04Speaker 7: I'm laid off. When you get through it, all of
- 7:07Speaker 7: that whining, it's gonna come down to you and God
- 7:11Speaker 7: and the God in you. If God created man in
- 7:15Speaker 7: his own image, God is a part of you, that
- 7:19Speaker 7: is a piece of you that's godly.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I don't care who you are. I don't care what
- 7:24Speaker 2: mistake you made.
- 7:26Speaker 7: The murderer that's sitting in jail today because of a
- 7:29Speaker 7: moment in his life that he's now paying for, has
- 7:33Speaker 7: God in you?
- 7:35Speaker 2: The biggest criminal When.
- 7:37Speaker 7: He gets through criminalizing or whatever you want to call it,
- 7:40Speaker 7: he's sitting there by his self, that is a piece
- 7:43Speaker 7: of God in him that lets him know this ain't
- 7:46Speaker 7: the way. It's wrong. You can love his money if
- 7:49Speaker 7: you want to put you out of line, and you
- 7:51Speaker 7: gonna pay. At the end of the day, when I
- 7:54Speaker 7: get through on this microphone, on this TV, all these articles,
- 7:57Speaker 7: when I get through it, all of that, you know
- 7:59Speaker 7: what it comes down to. Because see, it ain't always
- 8:01Speaker 7: been this way for me. You know, I've been trying
- 8:04Speaker 7: to get here, trying to get that.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Listen to me. It's been me and God, and it's
- 8:09Speaker 2: been to God in me.
- 8:10Speaker 7: When I woke up a few years back and I
- 8:13Speaker 7: realized that's really what it was, it changed my whole life.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It changed my whole life. Your whole life can get
- 8:21Speaker 2: changed when you realize that it's really you and God
- 8:24Speaker 2: and the God in you.
- 8:25Speaker 7: Really man. People disappoint you, You argue with people, You
- 8:29Speaker 7: fall out with people, You break up with people, You
- 8:31Speaker 7: divorce people. You got people who you thought was friends,
- 8:34Speaker 7: all of a sudden you find out they talking about
- 8:36Speaker 7: it's crazy out of here. You been going, what's going on?
- 8:39Speaker 7: What's really going on? But that's cause guess what you
- 8:43Speaker 7: got all yours banked on them when you going bank
- 8:46Speaker 7: it on the one thing that you can count on.
- 8:49Speaker 7: God's word ain't changed since we got here. It's solid.
- 8:53Speaker 7: If you pray, believe, work hard, don't doubt you'll get
- 8:56Speaker 7: whatever you ask for. That's the fact that ain't no rumor.
- 9:00Speaker 7: People out here doing.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It every day.
- 9:01Speaker 8: Now.
- 9:01Speaker 7: If you ain't trying that, listen to me. You got
- 9:04Speaker 7: it within you. Oh it's there.
- 9:06Speaker 2: You just gotta use it. There is a weapon available
- 9:09Speaker 2: to man called prayer. Use that.
- 9:12Speaker 6: See.
- 9:12Speaker 7: I look at my life, man, whenever I get a
- 9:14Speaker 7: little shaky, I look back. Oh hey, man, I ain't
- 9:17Speaker 7: really talk with him too much yesterday. Oh, tighten up.
- 9:21Speaker 7: I'm just telling you real. You got a better answer.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Oh oh oh, I know what.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Oh my bad, Steve. Now, Steve, I ain't winning costs.
- 9:29Speaker 7: They ain't get me the loan all now, Steve, I
- 9:31Speaker 7: ain't winning costs.
- 9:32Speaker 2: She left me. He left me.
- 9:34Speaker 7: I ain't winning, Steve, because I got stuck with these kids.
- 9:36Speaker 7: I got a divorce. They fired me. They foreclothes on
- 9:39Speaker 7: my own. That's why I ain't winning. You ain't winning
- 9:42Speaker 7: cause you ain't praying. You got to pray and believe
- 9:44Speaker 7: in work. That's the key.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Come on.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Man, you got it within you. Oh it's there. You
- 9:51Speaker 7: just got to use it. It's just you and God,
- 9:54Speaker 7: and it's to God in you. And what y'all gonna
- 9:56Speaker 7: do about that?
- 9:56Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, boys, girls, monkey trainers, zoologists, anybody that's

- 10:26Speaker 7: into Jerusalem.
- 10:29Speaker 2: To those of you.

- 10:45Speaker 2: Man. Why did I start it like that today? I
- 10:48Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know. You know, sometimes you just
- 10:51Speaker 2: wake up on one, so own one.
- 10:54Speaker 7: It is Ladies and Jennifer Shelley Strawberry, Calin for real, Mississippi,
- 10:58Speaker 7: Monica Junior and the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Going on today.
- 11:04Speaker 9: Man, Hell, let me ask you some other Have you
- 11:08Speaker 9: ever applied for a job you know you weren't qualify for?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:12Speaker 8: Yeah, what was you saying in the interview?
- 11:16Speaker 2: What I thought they wanted to hear?
- 11:19Speaker 7: Yeah, yes, trustworthy, Yes, compunctual work.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Here's the one who the biggest works well with others.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Every time I said that, I knew, I knew that
- 11:36Speaker 7: was going to be the problem to work well with others. Yes,
- 11:38Speaker 7: I'm a team player, yes, yes, knowing good and well
- 11:45Speaker 7: I'm not. I'm not a good employee, man. I just
- 11:48Speaker 7: was never cut out to be a great employee. I
- 11:51Speaker 7: always knew that. I always knew that. I never wanted
- 11:54Speaker 7: to work for somebody.
- 11:57Speaker 1: How did you know that?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Well?
- 12:00Speaker 7: I knew it when I didn't like I didn't like
- 12:04Speaker 7: nobody telling me what to do. Yeah, and started with
- 12:09Speaker 7: my parents, but due to the way we were raised,
- 12:12Speaker 7: I was unable to voice that opinion. So I held
- 12:15Speaker 7: that in until I until both of them passed. So
- 12:20Speaker 7: but after that, that applied to everybody else, and I
- 12:25Speaker 7: took it out on everybody too, since I got to
- 12:28Speaker 7: do what my mom and daddy say, do.
- 12:32Speaker 2: What everybody else?
- 12:33Speaker 7: Gonna get what it is everybody else, And so I
- 12:38Speaker 7: was never cut out to bill a good employee.
- 12:42Speaker 2: That wasn't you know?
- 12:44Speaker 9: And now you're an employer, but yeah, you know, you've
- 12:49Speaker 9: you've you've mastered that.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Though I don't think you have a boss. Now.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Yeah, the word team if you break it down, Uh,
- 12:58Speaker 7: there's an M and an E.
- 12:59Speaker 2: In it me. Yeah, then there's a T E A
- 13:07Speaker 2: in it, which is T which I don't take none of.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I don't do tea.
- 13:18Speaker 7: And then the reason I don't really fool it around
- 13:21Speaker 7: with the team, it's because I ain't no eye in it.
- 13:24Speaker 7: So I already knew that wasn't gonna be for me.
- 13:27Speaker 7: I don't need me being a team player, because why.

- 28:24Speaker 8: and I. My wife said, I'm too playful with the
- 28:26Speaker 8: stylists that work in our salon. I try to be
- 28:30Speaker 8: a peacemaker because they love to argue with each other,
- 28:33Speaker 8: even my wife. How do I get her to be
- 28:36Speaker 8: more pleasant with the stylist and less authoritative? She's a meanie?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Wow, who's a meaning his wife?
- 28:44Speaker 3: Can you believe that?
- 28:45Speaker 5: That ain't your job?
- 28:46Speaker 12: Though?
- 28:48Speaker 7: So you're going to be extra nice to the stylist
- 28:51Speaker 7: because your wife? Yes, Lord, he tried to keep the peace.
- 29:00Speaker 7: He's saying, no.
- 29:11Speaker 1: When she's cutting or shampooing, no smock.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Jeans.
- 29:19Speaker 8: What are they in there arguing about?
- 29:22Speaker 2: I don't know. I ain't had hand so long I
- 29:25Speaker 2: help that.
- 29:26Speaker 7: Oh the wife don't work there? She might though, because yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 7: I thought they was the owners.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Yeah, they are the owners. He says.
- 29:35Speaker 8: He tries to be a peacemaker because They love to
- 29:37Speaker 8: argue with each other, even my wife. So how do
- 29:41Speaker 8: I get her to be more pleasant with the stylists
- 29:43Speaker 8: and less authoritative?
- 29:44Speaker 1: She's a meaning quez.
- 29:47Speaker 2: So okay.
- 29:52Speaker 8: The stylists do work in their salon. They do own
- 29:54Speaker 8: the salon.
- 29:58Speaker 7: You married her, You know how she is. What she
- 30:00Speaker 7: seemed to do, she mean to you sometimes I had
- 30:08Speaker 7: one of them get out though.
- 30:12Speaker 2: New salon. All that gets.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Out, that's their business, all right.
- 30:18Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, guys, we'll
- 30:20Speaker 8: have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Yo, this is Jamie Fox.
- 30:26Speaker 3: This is Kim Whitley.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You already know what it is.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Measure match, go Beanie. You are now listening to the
- 30:30Speaker 2: Steve Horvey morning shows.
- 30:32Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Well, Steve, you said you didn't care because you loved him.
- 30:42Speaker 8: But Lebron James had fans on edge when he teased
- 30:46Speaker 8: online recently that he was about to make the decision
- 30:49Speaker 8: of all decisions. Everyone thought Lebron was about to make
- 30:54Speaker 8: a major decision about his career, like when he announced
- 30:57Speaker 8: that he would be leaving the Miami Heat to play
- 30:59Speaker 8: with the Klee Cavaliers. You remember that but this time,
- 31:03Speaker 8: Lebron's big announcement had nothing to do with basketball at all.
- 31:07Speaker 8: It was an announcement for his partnership with an alcohol brand.
- 31:11Speaker 8: We have a clip of that. Take a listen, Lebron
- 31:14Speaker 8: fans want to know where you're taking your talents this year.
- 31:17Speaker 2: What's your decision? And it's fall. Man, this is tough
- 31:21Speaker 2: and it's fall.
- 31:23Speaker 6: I'm gonna be taking my talents to Hennessy VSOP VSOP.
- 31:29Speaker 2: And this was the conclusion you woke up with this morning.
- 31:31Speaker 2: That was a conclusion I woke up with this morning.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Ah wah wah.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So what do you think of that?
- 31:42Speaker 8: Steve steal a Laker?
- 31:43Speaker 7: I told you all yeah, you did stop caring.
- 31:52Speaker 2: You said your man, he you ain't got nothing to.
- 31:55Speaker 9: Do with Lebron, Say somebody, I'm going to Houston, fool
- 31:59Speaker 9: talking about his vs.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so, man, Lebron was coming.
- 32:05Speaker 8: To Hought Junior.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Ain't nobody else that? I mean Kevin Durant already I
- 32:15Speaker 2: thought he was going back to Cleveland too. So so
- 32:17Speaker 2: now what.
- 32:19Speaker 12: Both?
- 32:20Speaker 2: So much hope? All right?
- 32:26Speaker 8: Moving on to a comedian and talk show host, Sherry Shepherd, Well,
- 32:29Speaker 8: Sherry took time out of her show on Monday. Recently
- 32:33Speaker 8: to send a message to NBC and Saturday Night Live,
- 32:38Speaker 8: Sherry urged SNL and its producers to immediately.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Hire a new black, black female cast member.
- 32:44Speaker 8: She called it a quote break glass in case of
- 32:47Speaker 8: emergency moment, and recalled past instances where male cast members
- 32:52Speaker 8: portrayed black women in skits. For instance, Keenan Thomas Keenan
- 32:56Speaker 8: Thompson played Roopy Goldberg and he's a Sherry herself was
- 33:00Speaker 8: impersonated once by a male comic on the show. Cherry said, quote,
- 33:04Speaker 8: it's twenty twenty five. Don't tell me you can't find anybody.
- 33:07Speaker 8: There's so much talent out there. This shouldn't even be
- 33:10Speaker 8: a debate. So do any you agree with her? Do
- 33:13Speaker 8: any female comedians come to mind?
- 33:16Speaker 2: Ain't nobody told Cherry? Ain't no mo d I. Ain't
- 33:18Speaker 2: nobody told me?
- 33:21Speaker 1: So they don't have to.
- 33:22Speaker 7: She talked about this twenty twenty five. It's project twenty
- 33:25Speaker 7: twenty five. That's what happened in this get here. Yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 7: see y'all, y'all listen to me. They cutting out everything,
- 33:34Speaker 7: you know. Can I make a comment.
- 33:36Speaker 2: On Dee I too.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Here's here's the problem with d I Charlie Kirk said
- 33:42Speaker 7: one time he was talking to a young African American
- 33:45Speaker 7: and Charlie Kirk said to him, he didn't like DEEI
- 33:49Speaker 7: because it lowers the standards. And then he said, like,
- 33:54Speaker 7: suppose the NBA had DEI in it and you had
- 33:58Speaker 7: to have X amount of white players?
- 34:00Speaker 2: How would you all feel about that? See?
- 34:03Speaker 7: But that mask what DEI really is. And I've given
- 34:07Speaker 7: this some thought. DI is for equity and inclusion and diversification.
- 34:16Speaker 7: What DEI does is it forces people behind the scenes,
- 34:22Speaker 7: in board rooms, in HR departments, and in interview rooms.
- 34:27Speaker 7: It forces them to consider other people that they would
- 34:32Speaker 7: not consider because they normally take the stance of hving
- 34:37Speaker 7: their friends and people that look a lot like them.
- 34:40Speaker 7: That's why DEEI came about to force them. DI does
- 34:45Speaker 7: not lower standards at all. All it does is it
- 34:49Speaker 7: forces you to consider someone else.
- 34:52Speaker 2: See.
- 34:53Speaker 7: The reason there is no need for DEI in the
- 34:56Speaker 7: NBA is because everything is upfront. We all know the
- 35:00Speaker 7: quarter is ninety four feet long. We all know the
- 35:03Speaker 7: free throw fifteen feet from the basket. We all see
- 35:06Speaker 7: that the basket it's ten feet high. We all know
- 35:08Speaker 7: what traveling is, we know what charging is. We know
- 35:12Speaker 7: where the file is and it's played in front of everybody,
- 35:16Speaker 7: So it's hard to do what y'all been doing in
- 35:20Speaker 7: board rooms HR and interview rooms because it's all out front.
- 35:26Speaker 7: On the football field, we see it. All the rules
- 35:29Speaker 7: is on display for everybody. So if you dishonor the
- 35:32Speaker 7: rules cause the person's color, we can see it. DEEI
- 35:37Speaker 7: was created to force you behind the scenes to consider
- 35:42Speaker 7: other people that don't look like you. So that old
- 35:45Speaker 7: statement he made about it, if I get on the pilot,
- 35:48Speaker 7: if I get on the plane I see a black pilot,
- 35:50Speaker 7: I'm be concerned. When you get on the plane you
- 35:52Speaker 7: see a black person up there, go in your seat,
- 35:55Speaker 7: put your seat belt on, buckle up, get your iPad,
- 35:59Speaker 7: start playing games, and relax because you are now in
- 36:02Speaker 7: the hands of one of the most qualified people in
- 36:05Speaker 7: the world up there. Because if you thank them, white
- 36:08Speaker 7: gave him the keys to that plane without dragging him
- 36:13Speaker 7: through the requirements and then the other stuff we got
- 36:17Speaker 7: to put up.
- 36:19Speaker 2: You got to relax as being constant what he had
- 36:22Speaker 2: to do to become that.
- 36:23Speaker 5: We all have to work.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Ever since we were kids.
- 36:27Speaker 7: Black people, it's an entertainment in all the entertainment contracts
- 36:34Speaker 7: that y'all don't see. If you knew what the counterparts
- 36:38Speaker 7: were making, you would be stunned, sick.
- 36:43Speaker 8: But yeah, I was just gonna say, any female comedians
- 36:47Speaker 8: come to mind that you that you think should be essentate?
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah, surey shephard, I like it. I like it. I
- 36:56Speaker 2: don't like that, sister.
- 36:57Speaker 6: They have.
- 37:00Speaker 8: All right, guys, les, Yeah, your root off all right?
- 37:06Speaker 8: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour. When asked
- 37:08Speaker 8: about our current political climate, former Vice President Kamala Harris,
- 37:12Speaker 8: have you guys heard about this?
- 37:13Speaker 1: Said yes, mfs, they're crazy.
- 37:17Speaker 10: Well, right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:28Speaker 9: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving, planning,
- 37:31Speaker 9: and hard work to get in the door. Didn't make
- 37:33Speaker 9: that house a home. Now, all that effort has built
- 37:35Speaker 9: something hugely valuable, equity. It's the portion of your home
- 37:39Speaker 9: you truly own that can be tapped to fund what's next.
- 37:41Speaker 9: And Rocket Mortgage is here to help you turn your

- 37:56Speaker 8: Former Vice President Kamala Harris said a fireside chat at
- 38:00Speaker 8: a summit on Monday, and during the conversation, v P.
- 38:03Speaker 8: Harris reflected on her loss to Donald Trump in the
- 38:06Speaker 8: twenty twenty four election. When asked about the current political
- 38:09Speaker 8: climate with Donald Trump as president, Here's what she had
- 38:13Speaker 8: to say, helping people just put a laying on it,
- 38:18Speaker 8: even if it doesn't change, because there's so much about
- 38:25Speaker 8: trying to make people feel like they've.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Lost their mime.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Wow, come on, come do politics. Yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 8: I did say it that we just had to be.
- 38:52Speaker 1: She then explained, uh, v she kept it one hundred.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Yeah. She said she couldn't articulate anything else. She kept
- 39:00Speaker 8: saying over and over again, quote, my god, my god.
- 39:04Speaker 8: I have never felt that level of pain and grief
- 39:06Speaker 8: like that, except when my mother died and it was
- 39:09Speaker 8: grieving for the country.
- 39:11Speaker 10: So yeah, she said, we're in a difficult spot.
- 39:16Speaker 7: The problem that we haven't as usual is that people
- 39:20Speaker 7: don't see we're in the difficult spot because they wear
- 39:23Speaker 7: the mask so well and they think see when Project
- 39:29Speaker 7: twenty twenty five really plays itself all the way and
- 39:32Speaker 7: we ain't even finish one year with this. No, when
- 39:34Speaker 7: it plays itself all the way out, this will benefit
- 39:38Speaker 7: the well off the way and it will sacrifice the poor.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And if you don't believe that, watch that. Now.
- 39:46Speaker 7: The sad thing about the MAGA community is they are
- 39:50Speaker 7: in the latter category, the less fortunate, the underserved, and
- 39:56Speaker 7: they gonna.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Get hit too. How they don't see this though.

- 40:02Speaker 7: it blinded right now.
- 40:04Speaker 2: See.
- 40:05Speaker 7: White supremacs are experts at making you think it's about
- 40:09Speaker 7: all white people, and it's really not.
- 40:12Speaker 2: It's about all well off white people.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Oh that's the trip.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Ain't nobody understanding.
- 40:25Speaker 7: But they need the masses so they can get the
- 40:29Speaker 7: votes for the rich, so they include you in little stuff.
- 40:34Speaker 7: We against gay marriage, A lot of people are. We
- 40:38Speaker 7: against welfare, A lot of people are. We against uh,
- 40:42Speaker 7: illegal immigration, A lot of people are.
- 40:45Speaker 2: But they got it mass like it's just them.
- 40:49Speaker 7: We against transgenders participating in male sports.
- 40:53Speaker 9: Okay, a lot of people are, but they do less
- 40:59Speaker 9: that they throw out.
- 41:00Speaker 7: But back to what the vehicles make all them think
- 41:04Speaker 7: they include and they hate because they really rich people
- 41:08Speaker 7: don't really care about none of them groups.
- 41:09Speaker 8: All right, coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour,

- 56:50Speaker 1: Let up, all right, neph you thank you. Subject.
- 56:52Speaker 8: Should I give this man a second chance? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:57Speaker 8: I'm thirty three and I'm having a hard time dating
- 57:00Speaker 8: black men. I'm running into the wrong one, so I
- 57:03Speaker 8: won't say that all black men are a trip. I
- 57:06Speaker 8: was dating a guy that I met on a blind date.
- 57:08Speaker 8: He was married to a white woman for four years,
- 57:11Speaker 8: and I could see why he's divorced. I shouldn't have
- 57:14Speaker 8: kept dating him after our first date. He's very confident
- 57:18Speaker 8: and cocky. He brags about working out all of the time,
- 57:21Speaker 8: and he loves talking about his two cars and his
- 57:25Speaker 8: new small home. The house has nothing to brag about,
- 57:29Speaker 8: but I was happy for him and helped him decorate
- 57:31Speaker 8: the house. Three months into dating, he wouldn't talk when
- 57:35Speaker 8: we went on dates. He said that I overtalk him
- 57:38Speaker 8: and it's always mindless conversation. That was quite offensive, but
- 57:43Speaker 8: I kept dating him. We started having sex, and I
- 57:46Speaker 8: had to limit it to a few days a week
- 57:48Speaker 8: because I felt like we shouldn't even be having sex
- 57:51Speaker 8: before marriage. He said, that's exactly why black women get
- 57:56Speaker 8: left behind, because we have too many hang ups and
- 57:59Speaker 8: rules and we're dating. He's also commented on my attitude
- 58:04Speaker 8: and basically referred to me as an angry black woman.
- 58:07Speaker 8: After a waitress filled a glass of water on me
- 58:09Speaker 8: by mistake. I was shocked, but not mad, and I
- 58:13Speaker 8: was not rude to that woman. I cut back on
- 58:15Speaker 8: the time I spent with him, and then he ghosted me.
- 58:19Speaker 8: Weeks later, he was dating another woman and he posted
- 58:22Speaker 8: her on Facebook. I was jealous because I never got posted,
- 58:26Speaker 8: so I called to tell him that. He said he
- 58:29Speaker 8: posted her to get my attention. He said he misses me,
- 58:33Speaker 8: and he asked if he can get a second chance.
- 58:35Speaker 8: I was excited at first, and then I remembered how
- 58:38Speaker 8: he treated me. Is it a bad idea to give
- 58:41Speaker 8: him a second chance? Yes, it's a bad idea. I
- 58:45Speaker 8: think you need to reread your own letter that you
- 58:47Speaker 8: wrote us so you can really hear what you've said
- 58:51Speaker 8: about this man, especially the angry black woman part. This
- 58:55Speaker 8: is even more offensive coming from a black man.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I'm sure with.
- 58:59Speaker 8: The stupid stuff that was coming out of his mouth
- 59:01Speaker 8: on a regular he gave you plenty of stuff to
- 59:04Speaker 8: be angry about. I bet his ex was an angry
- 59:07Speaker 8: white woman with him. You got to ask yourself, how
- 59:11Speaker 8: has he changed from the first time around? Because you
- 59:14Speaker 8: don't post yourself with another woman. If you want to
- 59:17Speaker 8: get back with someone, you call her, you apologize, you
- 59:21Speaker 8: ask for forgiveness, you come bearing gifts. Anything other than
- 59:25Speaker 8: what he did. I think this guy is immature. I
- 59:27Speaker 8: think he's disrespectful and if you take him back, it's
- 59:30Speaker 8: going to be more of the same. He has shown
- 59:32Speaker 8: you who he is.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Believe him.
- 59:35Speaker 7: Steve, Well, I agree with you, Shirley. The problem I
- 59:41Speaker 7: had with this letter is near everything, just.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Every line in it.
- 59:48Speaker 7: Should I get this man a second chance? Okay, Well
- 59:51Speaker 7: let's see if you should. I'm thirty three. I'm having
- 59:54Speaker 7: a hard time dating black man. All right, Well get
- 59:57Speaker 7: a white man. So get a Latino man, Get Asian man.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: Go ahead, go ahead. I don't know what y'all think.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: Fitna happened?
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: We are all the same, were the same, But go
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: ahead and try it.
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: I'm running there, I'm running into the wrong one, So
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: I won't say that all black men in our trip,
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: you attract the wrong one, and you picked the wrong one.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I was dating a guy I met on a blind date.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: He was married to a white woman for four years,
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: and I could see why he's divorced. So you're having
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: trouble dating black men. You go get a black man
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: that's having trouble dating black women. So he's married to
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: a white woman, and you thought, well, since he married
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: a white woman, let me give it a shout.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: What was your planet? Was you getting? Was you go
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: gonna act more white?
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: What?
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: What?
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: What was?
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: What was the thought process here? I'm just trying to
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: figure out what what what this got to do with anything?
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: I shouldn't have kept dating him after that first date?
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: Well why ain't you stop? See I told you I
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: just have a problem with everything. In this letter, he's
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: confident in cocky. He brags about working out all the time,
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: and he loves talking about his two cars and his
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: new small home. Well, you know, he probably come from
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: one raggedy car, and he probably had an apartment, brun
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: the gym all the time. He cocky talking about working out,
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: and now he got two cars in a little house.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: Ain't no wrong time. The house has nothing to brag about.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: But I was happy for him, and I helped him
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: decorate the house. Oh now you out there decorating a
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: little tiny home. Okay, oh okay, what you want?
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: What?
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: You had to buy one pair of curtain? That's all? What?
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: What?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: What we do?
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: You just bought one rug and you take your toe,
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: and when you use the toilet, you take your toe,
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: and you start cooking, you take your toe and you
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: slide the rug over in front of the stove. And
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: then when you go sit on the toilet, you slide
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: the rug back in front of the toilet.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: That's how you decorate a tiny home. You can save money.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: You ain't got the buyble, you know one you've been
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: one pair of curtains decorate turning on.
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: Okay, anyway, here we go and we'll come back and
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: I'll just finish up with what's.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Wrong with the whole less? All right?
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: All right, we'll have part two of your response to
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: today's strawberry letter Steve at twenty three minutes after the hour.

- 1:02:59Speaker 2: This is your boy Sandy Entertainer.

- 1:03:52Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: The subject is should I give this man a second chance?
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: Well, since I started this letter, I found nothing redeeming
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: in this letter. So let's just go through it real
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: quickly and to get to the end. Should you just
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: give him a second chance?
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Thirty three?
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: You're having a hard time dating black man, okay, I said, so, well,
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: go get another one, white Latino Asian. Just go get another.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: I won't say that all black men in the trip.
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: I was dating a guy met on the blind day.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: He was married to a white woman for four years,
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: and I can see why he's divorced.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Oh okay, So since you having trouble dating black men.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: You decided to date another black man that didn't like
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: black women, and that's that.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Maybe he found love in this white lady. I don't know.
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: You can find love anywhere. I guess so, but I
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: don't know why you put this in the letter. So okay,
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: nice try. Oh I shouldn't have kept dating him after
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: our first date right there? Why did you keep dating him?
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: Then?
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: He's confident in cocky brags about working out all the time.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: He loved talking about his two car, his new small home.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: He got a tiny house and got two cars. Okay, saying,
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: but you you were happy for him, and you help
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: them decorate the house. Don't take long. Don't take long.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: Tiny houses just need one throw rug and you just
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: pull it with your toe around the house and let
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: it be the rug. Whoever you are, like you, you
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: want a rug to get out the bed, just pull
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: it with your toe from about me in front of
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: the toilet and you can step out on the floor
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: in the bed. You could take that same toe and
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: drag it in front of the shower, and now you
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: step out on that same rug right after the shower,
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: and then you go in there to cook just take
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: your toe and pull that rug right over in front
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: of that stove and start cooking. And then it's time
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: to eat. Take the other toe and drag it by
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: your chair, and now you could eat bath foot by
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: the table. It's so beautiful. There's a lot of advantages
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: of tiny houses. You're crazy, but you're gonna have to
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: get your toes worked on. You're gonna have to get
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: your toe stripped up because that's how you pull that
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: rug around.
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: Work your toes.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Need to go to the gym.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: Yeah, that big toe. You got to make that big
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: toe strong because you get a cramp in it if
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: you ain't canting. And anyway, and then I told him,
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: y'all was going out for three months and he wouldn't
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: talk on the dates. He said you over talked to
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: him in that and with mindless conversation and that was offensive.
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: But you kept dating him and I started having sex
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: with him, and I had to limit it to a
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: few days a week because I felt like we shouldn't
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: even be having sex before marriage. Did you tell him
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: that or this is just something you came up with,
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: because because he was busy, seemed like you had to
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: cut him down. And then anyway, He said, that's exactly
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: why black women get left behind, because we got too
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: many hang ups and rules when we dating. But he
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: was married to the white lady and he got a divorce,
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: So maybe it's him. Yeah, maybe it's him. He also
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: commented on my attitude and basically referred to me as
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: an angry black woman. After waitress spilled a glass of
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: water on me by mistake. I was shocked, but not
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: mad and was not rude to that woman. I cut
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: back on the time I spent with him, and then
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: he ghosted me. One week's later, he was dating another one.
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: He put another lady. He put that on Facebook. I
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: got jealous. I called him and I told him, you
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: ain't never post me. He said he posted her to
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: get my chick. Well, when did he lose your phone number?
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: Exactly?
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: He said he misses me and asked if he can
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: get a second chance. I was excited at first, and
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: then I remembered how he treated me. Is it a
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: bad idea to give him a second chance? A second
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: chance to do what you did? Not give this man
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: one redeeming quality in this beoo. He cocky and confidence.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: He brag about working out, He brag about them two cards,
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: bragging about that tiny house.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: You stitt up in that tiny house, trying to act
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: like it ain't tiny. You can see the TV from
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: everywhere in the house.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: You in bed watching TV, cooking, watching the same TV show.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Can't put two TVs and it ain't in no walls
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: in the tiny house.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: For no two TVs. We all got to watch this
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: one TV. Now you're in the bathroom watching the same TV.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: I'm over here trying to fight his chicken, and you
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: were in here with that dough crack looking at this.
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: If you don't shut this though, so.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Lady, I don't know a second chance to do what right?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: But you got excited and then you remembered. You remember
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: that it didn't work. Did you remember that you should
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: have stopped dating him after the first day. Did you
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: remember that he called you an angry black woman.
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: Did you remember that he told you that's why black
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: women get left behind, because y'all got too many rules
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: and hang ups. He gonna bring them same concerns back
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: with him. Stop listen to me, ladies. Stop being tired
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: of being alone. Not being tired of that makes you desperate,
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: because in your alone time is your repair time. In
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: your alone time is your.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Time to receive everything else God had for you that
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: you was blocking by being in.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: The wrong relationship. Preach, God got something fun you. You
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: just got to be able to let something go. That's true,
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: and you know the hardest thing to let go of
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: your past. Amen to that, all right, And that's the
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: one thing that.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Will keep you from having a bright future. So going
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: back there and get a little mister.

- 1:11:18Speaker 9: heard what she said about the leaders?
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: She called out the league.
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: She called it the WNBA for their lack of leadership, accountability,
- 1:11:24Speaker 9: the officiating, the way they treat the players. She called
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: out the atalire w NBA, even the commissioner, Kathy Ingelbert.
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: They were supposed to have a meeting yesterday, but FISA
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: she canceled. She said, nah, no, she told the commission
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: Now you say you respect the players, then you get
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: up there on the stand and say I lied about
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: everything I said, and now you don't have no accountability.
- 1:11:44Speaker 13: This is when she talked about so she don't want
- 1:11:45Speaker 13: to have a meeting no more and she's tired of it.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: All the players are tired of yet.
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: Matter of fact, when she told her, she said, you
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: know what, it's a shame that Kaitlyn Clark and Andel
- 1:11:54Speaker 9: Reese are the two prominent people in this league and
- 1:11:56Speaker 9: they got to make all their money off the court.
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: And she says, yeah, well, you know, Kaylyn and Angel
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: need to be happy because they would have an MWA.
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: But if they'd had a WNBA, they would be able
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: to make this type of money off the court. And
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: she said, oh really, so we got to go off
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: the court to make our money. Well, everybody in the
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: NBAWNBA can't do that, and that's one of the problems.
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: She said, Hey, look, I don't even want to meet
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: with y'all since y'alln't even acknowledge that we are underpaid.
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: You won't even acknowledge that y'all have not given us
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: the best treatment. You won't acknowledge the officiating is poor.
- 1:12:23Speaker 9: Why would I sit there and meet what you did?
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Well, now, see, listen to me. You can only bring
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: about change by sitting down. People say.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: People have a lot of sayings that don't make no sense.
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: I don't break bread with the enemy. The only way
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: to have pieces to sit down with your enemies. It's
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: the only way and the only way to bring about
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: change is you have to meet with people that have
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: a different viewpoint than you. That's the only way to meet.
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: And I understand what the young sisters saying. That is
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: a disparity in pay in the NBA and the w NBA,
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: but there's also a game a number of games played.
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: There's also an attendance disparity, and there's also a cost
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: of ticket prices disparity. And everybody can't make what Angel
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: Reaes and Caitlin Clark mates. But have you ever thought,
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: could it be? Could it be maybe that your brand
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: that you portray on and off the court is not
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: a marketable brand. See if the first thing, the only
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: thing you can change immediately is yourself.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Sometimes, man, you gotta look within to make the change.
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: W ain't being nothing to pay y'all, no more money
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: right now, But in seasons to come, it's going to
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: have to change. Because of Angel Reas, because of Kitlyn Clark,
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: there are more people attending games. But I'm gonna tell
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: you right now, if all women supported women's sports, y'all
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: wouldn't have no problem.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: All right, Junior, Wait, thank you.
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man's
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: puzzles after his wife called him the wrong name during sex.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 12: All right, here we go.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: This is from Travis in Valdosta.
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: Travis says, my wife is not a big drinker, and
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: when she gets tipsy, she's a wild woman in the bedroom,
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: and she likes to talk nasty.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: But the other night she.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: Called me Teddy during sex, and my name is Travis.
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: She tried to say that she called me teddy bear,
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: and I searched the context, context in her phone, and
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: all of her followers are on social media, and I
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: couldn't find a Teddy. Is it safe to assume she
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: was really calling me a teddy bear?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Yeah? Yes, probably You probably gonna have to go with
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: that withem. You ain't been no teddy, come on, yeah, you're.
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: Probably gonna have to go and to go with that
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: teddy Back then, you didn't find Teddy in the context,
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: And you know, I'm pretty show she ain't stupid enough
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: to put his name, So yeah, I think you're gonna
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: have to go on with Teddy, Beth.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: So you rate her lie? If it was a lie,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: how do you rate it?
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I mean it's outstanding.
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: It's a good lie because Teddy is probably under a
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: code name in the phone.
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: Oh definitely, So that's good.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: He said, that's good.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: See, let me explain something to you.
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: But a lie is a success once it creates reasonable doubt,
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: and that Teddy or Tyrone, whatever the real name is.
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: Travis then had to write in to us because of
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: what reasonable doubt. So her lie was an outstanding lie.
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: All you want is reasonable doubt. That's gotta take her back.
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: You had another drink and that's big. I tay to
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: come back out.
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: Eddy really is?
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: All right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: from Rava in Long Island. Rava says, my best friend's
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: husband is a ladies man and there's a rumor that
- 1:16:20Speaker 8: he is a longtime girlfriend and he spends a lot
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: of time with her. I've known my best friend for
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: thirty plus years, but I don't know how to talk
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: to her about these rumors. My friend group said I
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: should be the one to tell her, and it's stressing
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: me out a lot.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: How do I tell my friend this, tell your friend
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: a rumor?
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: Yeah, that her husband it's rumored that her husband has
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: a longtime girlfriend. Exactly, Oh mom, oh yeah, but her
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: group told her she should be the one to tell her,
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: so she's known of her.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Soul well to friend group. Mind, they be as.
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: Rumored.
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: Suppose this rumor it's just gossip. Yeah, and it's untrue.
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: Now you take this to this woman and this man
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: ain't got no long term girlfriend. Look, if you don't
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: have pictures of him coming out the hotel.
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: Room with her, you don't.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: You don't have room nothing.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: There's no way you can get me on.
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: That one thoughts. Yeah, but thirty years, where's the proof.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: It's rumored that he has a long time girlfriend.
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: And that he spends a lot of time with her.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: But this woman, her best friend, is stressing out because
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: her friend group is pressuring her to tell the best
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: friends that's you know why this, Yeah, because because they
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: sing and that's our best friend, and they feel that
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: she should tell her.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: That we're gonna tell her then gonna tell her. No,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: tell her what exactly? Okay, hold on it.
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: I know your best friend, I know your girl talk
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: about all the time. She's a wonderful person. You heard
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: a rumor that her her husband. Let's say she's married,
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: her husband has a girlfriend somewhere.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: He spends a lot of time. How would you go
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: about telling that? I would tell I heard the brooman
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: toy is like my sister. Our mothers were best friends.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: I would tell her.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I would tell her, she knows that her man is
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: staying out.
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: This woman knows that her man has been gone there
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: saying she's he spends a lot of time away.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: She knows something, is the wife.
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: Yeah, she's intuition, all right, Yeah, she knows.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: All right, guys, should he spends less time with the other?

- 1:22:58Speaker 2: No, I don't. I ain't never had no punking. I've
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: had it. I don't like it because I like sweet

- 1:23:25Speaker 7: it's really punkin pie, that it's.
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: The same, that's not the same.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: You be looking around.
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: I remember, man, my first Thanksgiving away from home. I
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: was performing in West Palm Beach, Florida. My first Thanksgiving
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: ever away from home in my life, never being at
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: my mama's house for Thanksgiving. And when I got through
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: performing West Palm Beach, I walked to a Denny's so
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: I could have a Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: They had a big turkey dressing special.
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: That's when I discovered, really, really how white people make Thanksgiving.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: They had turkey, but everything else.
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: First of all, the dressing was stove top, had apples
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: in it, The gravy was light. The win potatoes was
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: in an ice cream ladle. They just gave you one PLoP.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: It was perfectly circle and it came with a slice
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: of punkin pie. Hurry up. I cried the whole time.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I was in, just tears running down.

- 1:25:19Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: the day before we get out of here. With Steve
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: Harvey's closing remarks. Thank you once again to our audience
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: for listening. We appreciate it every day every day.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: Hey, here's here's something a piece of advice I could
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: share with people in your climb to become successful. Once
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: you understand that success, first of all, is a process.
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: Nobody gets to be it right away. You don't set
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: a goal today and accomplish everything you want tomorrows. This
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: doesn't work that way unless you have very very small goals,
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: you know, Like, if your goal is simply tomorrow, I'm
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: gonna write down some.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Things I want.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: Okay, all right, well, if God wake you up, go ahead,
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: let me see how hard you try to make that happen.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: That's pretty easy. But I'm talking about your real goals.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: That's after you've written your stuff down to accomplish those things.
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: It's a process, and in this process, you have to
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: be prepared to take the necessary steps, and sometimes those
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: steps are small steps. Every step you take is not
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: gonna be leaps and bounds.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: Every move you make.
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: Is not gonna be catastrophic. Everything that happens to you
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: is not gonna be earth shaking or consequential, or.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: This really moved the needle.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: Sometimes, man, you just gotta remember that inch by inch,
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: anything's a cinch. Sometimes you're gonna inch your way along.
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: Sometimes you got to crawl your way along. Sometimes you're
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: gonna walk your way along, and sometimes you're gonna get
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: to break out running. But the key is to understand
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: that it's all a process and be prepared for those
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: tiny steps.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: Be prepared for it not to go your way.
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: Get ready for days where you just have to stand
- 1:27:32Speaker 7: still and hope you survive it. Get ready for the naysayers,
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: get for the lack, get ready for lack of encouragement.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: You know what it is, folks, especially those of us
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: and those of you out there who are the first
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: ones in your family to try to amount yourself to anything.
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: And now a lot of people can relate to this.
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: Now there are people who come from like my one
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: of one person that works with me was an attorney.
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: His father was a doctor. I mean, this cat with
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: the more house, brilliant gud, he came from that background.
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: The majority of us don't get that shot. The majority
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: of us don't get that viewpoint of success. A lot
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: of us are the first ones in our family to
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: try to amount to anything. And without those pictures, those
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: clear pictures, you gotta understand the process. And here's one
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: of the things you gotta understand. Stop expecting your family
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: for their full support, cause, man, you really ain't gonna
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: get it from them because they don't get it.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: They don't get it.
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: It's hard to tell a person you want a whole
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: lot that ain't ever had a whole lot. It started
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: hard to tell a person that you're gonna climb higher
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: than the realm of expectation in our family, that you're
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: gonna break the ceiling in our family, that you're gonna
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: break the chains in our family.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: And theyve been sitting up there locked up their whole life.
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: What stop expecting support from people who can't give it
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: to you. I don't you know how many times have
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: you walked in there and told your family, this is
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: what I'm about to do.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: And they sat there quietly and listened to you, and
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: then he guess what. I don't see how you gonna
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: do all that? That don't make no sense to me,
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: seeming to me like y'all to just get a regular job.
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: You know, you got some bills you got to pay.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: I don't see it. Listen to me.
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: Stop expecting them to see it. You know why they
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: can't see it because God didn't show it to them.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: He showed it to you.
- 1:29:46Speaker 7: God places everything he has for you in your imagination.
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: It's that thing that keeps you up at night. It's
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: why you can't sleep at night. It's what makes you
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: toss and turn. It's what makes you daydream. That's why
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: you're sitting on your job, still thinking about opening that business.
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: It's why you're sitting on your job trying to figure
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: out how you gonna become the supervisor. It's how you
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: on that job, see how you gonna become team leader.
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: That's cause God shows you what he has for you
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: in your imagination. But you go in there and you
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: share it to your family and friends, and they can't
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: see it. It's because God didn't show it to them.
- 1:30:24Speaker 7: He showed it to you. See the problem with sharing
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: big dreams with people is if you want to kill
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: a big dream, tell it to a small minded person.
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: You got people in your life that have a problem
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: for every solution you come up with. Did you hear
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: what I said? You have people in your life who
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: have a problem for every solution you come up with. Hey, y'all,
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: I got a way that the family gonna get rich
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: with the problem. Yeah, but you're black, though you ain't
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: got no money supposed to bank down loan it to you. Yeah,
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: you'll have people like that that's got a problem for
- 1:31:11Speaker 7: every solution you come up with.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: See. You know, for example, when I'm talking to my
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: employees and we're sitting around and I come up with
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: a new idea, you know what, I don't allow them
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: to do.
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: Tell me how it won't work. I'm not paying you
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: for that. I want you to put your heads together
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: and tell me how we can get it done. Already,
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: Know how it ain't gonna work already. Know the nay
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: sales is coming already, Know the haters is coming, already.
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: Know the pitfalls and trappings of trying to be successful.
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: I face them my whole life, So don't tell me
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: about them. Tell me how we can make it work,
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: how we can get it done, how we can make
- 1:31:48Speaker 7: it happen. I don't need a problem for my solution.
- 1:31:53Speaker 7: I just need a solution for the solution. Now figure
- 1:31:57Speaker 7: that out, y'all have a great day to day. Talk
- 1:31:59Speaker 7: to God.
