- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve har listening to move together for stelesey,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining you doing me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn be hurting. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your baby daddy. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show man, o man, o man.
- 2:14Speaker 1: How many times I got to say that before I
- 2:17Speaker 1: get tired of it. I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I gotta be real with you, because, boy that Steve
- 2:24Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show man, clear indication of how
- 2:29Speaker 1: God can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how
- 2:35Speaker 1: he leads your life in directions that you never ever
- 2:38Speaker 1: saw coming. You know. I was talking with somebody the
- 2:40Speaker 1: other day and they were talking about how man, they
- 2:43Speaker 1: were young, and they were doing things, and they never
- 2:46Speaker 1: knew that the things that they were doing as a
- 2:48Speaker 1: youngster would come and helped form who they were today
- 2:55Speaker 1: as an adult disguise fifty years old. And you know
- 2:59Speaker 1: the same thing for you, if you look back on
- 3:01Speaker 1: your life and all of the things that you've done,
- 3:05Speaker 1: it helps shape you into who you are now. This
- 3:09Speaker 1: is provided now that you take the positive approach. Now
- 3:13Speaker 1: when I say look back at your life and see
- 3:15Speaker 1: what you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:20Speaker 1: because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: hard to see that when it's happening to you, But
- 3:26Speaker 1: the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really makes
- 3:31Speaker 1: you appreciate summer vacation is when to work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 1: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach, it's when
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's cold, it is raining outside. What really makes you
- 3:43Speaker 1: appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down. See
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you are up all the time. Just the nature
- 3:52Speaker 1: of us as human beings, we would lose our appreciation
- 3:54Speaker 1: for because it becomes case urah, whatever it is, well,
- 3:58Speaker 1: it is what it is. I'm just what what what
- 4:02Speaker 1: you take it for? Granted, it becomes expected, But what
- 4:04Speaker 1: happens in life's is it has so many twisting turns,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:11Speaker 1: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:15Speaker 1: when the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's
- 4:17Speaker 1: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm weather.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Just stay in a bunch of cold weather all the time.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm you know what I'm saying. I'm just this is
- 4:25Speaker 1: really really simple and now analogies, but it helps you
- 4:29Speaker 1: along the way. Now here's what I came to say
- 4:32Speaker 1: today to everybody out there. And this has helped me
- 4:36Speaker 1: in my life. I can't tell you what it's done
- 4:39Speaker 1: for me. But a lot of people are struggling with
- 4:44Speaker 1: moving forward with their future, their future plans, their future goals,
- 4:49Speaker 1: their future aspirations, their future hopes, their future dreams. Just
- 4:56Speaker 1: simply that your future wants a lot of people trying
- 4:59Speaker 1: to have a hard time mapping out their future. Even
- 5:03Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what I'm
- 5:06Speaker 1: gonna make ham or go about it? What do I
- 5:09Speaker 1: do next? I want to share something with you that
- 5:12Speaker 1: I had to come to terms with. The quickest way
- 5:15Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 5:20Speaker 1: on your past. You know, it's like I said at
- 5:23Speaker 1: the beginning. You know when I say it's wonderful to
- 5:26Speaker 1: look at your life and review it, because if you
- 5:29Speaker 1: look at it, it'll tell you it really helps shape
- 5:33Speaker 1: inform you today as the person you are now if
- 5:37Speaker 1: you look at it in a positive sense. But if
- 5:39Speaker 1: you dwell in harp on the negative that's happened to you,
- 5:43Speaker 1: then that keeps you from seeing the good in the incident,
- 5:47Speaker 1: every bad thing that's happened to you that was a
- 5:50Speaker 1: silver lining behind it. I know people who were on
- 5:53Speaker 1: drugs who finally, man just got sent to prison for
- 5:57Speaker 1: stealing because of their habit. I know cat old Dope, Well,
- 6:01Speaker 1: he went to prison. He told me one time, he said, Steve,
- 6:05Speaker 1: he said, man, this is the best thing ever happened
- 6:07Speaker 1: to me to save my life. Now, most people would think,
- 6:10Speaker 1: how in the world is going to prison helpful for you?
- 6:14Speaker 1: The brother said, it saved my life. First of all,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for
- 6:20Speaker 1: five years from sitting in him. That's for starters, Uncleaned.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself
- 6:27Speaker 1: in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said, Now, man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I met him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go, man, go forward. It's over.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You made it, you got through it, You're beyond it.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, he left. But like I told us
- 8:14Speaker 1: lady on my TV show the other day, sometimes the
- 8:17Speaker 1: breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard to break
- 8:20Speaker 1: up because now you're loaning you by yourself. But man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: but when you in misery, when you was in that,
- 8:25Speaker 1: weren't you in complete misery in that? Now you kept
- 8:30Speaker 1: asking God to fix it. But it takes two people
- 8:32Speaker 1: to fix a relationship. It don't just take one. It
- 8:35Speaker 1: takes two to make a thing go right. It takes
- 8:39Speaker 1: two to make it out of sight. Say you know
- 8:42Speaker 1: that's that's that's a song. But man, that's so true.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You really do have to have two people wanting a
- 8:48Speaker 1: relationship to work. It can't just be one person want
- 8:51Speaker 1: a relationship. So you can pray about the relationship all
- 8:54Speaker 1: you want. If the other person don't want you no
- 8:56Speaker 1: more and ain't gonna act right, you can't make him
- 8:59Speaker 1: do that or you can't make her do that. So man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: the relationship, the break up. Sometimes it's a blessing. It's over.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Let it go go forward. Quit looking at how much
- 9:11Speaker 1: time you wasted. Man, that kills people from getting the
- 9:15Speaker 1: next if you're constantly dwelling on how much time I
- 9:18Speaker 1: gave him and how much time I gave her and
- 9:21Speaker 1: now here I am lost it alone, or you ain't
- 9:24Speaker 1: wasting no time. Some of the times was good, a
- 9:28Speaker 1: lot of them was bad. So what you're gonna do now,
- 9:31Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have no future because you're gonna keep
- 9:35Speaker 1: focusing on your past. Are you serious? So now you're
- 9:39Speaker 1: asking God to give you another relationship when you don't
- 9:43Speaker 1: even have enough sense to appreciate the fact that you
- 9:47Speaker 1: are now available for another relationship. But you steady asking
- 9:53Speaker 1: God for a new relationship, but you are yet to
- 9:57Speaker 1: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 10:00Speaker 1: a relationship, And you keep harping on the pass. You
- 10:03Speaker 1: don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude with
- 10:06Speaker 1: a show, and I hear it all the time. Let
- 10:08Speaker 1: it go, go forward. It's over. You made it, He
- 10:13Speaker 1: bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it. Why
- 10:18Speaker 1: are you dwelling on it and making it the cross
- 10:21Speaker 1: around your neck when clearly he had removed it for you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Now all you got to do is come on. So
- 10:28Speaker 1: if you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters, I'm
- 10:31Speaker 1: talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got to
- 10:34Speaker 1: get it right. All this repeat of fitting the business
- 10:37Speaker 1: that's for? Who is that for? How ignorant can you
- 10:40Speaker 1: be to keep giving your life back to the penal system?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Be free, man, walk the streets, do the right thing.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Ask God to help connect you. He could do anything.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You think he can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 10:56Speaker 1: it go. Let's move Harpy morning show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:04Speaker 1: we are gathered here today uh to perform, to reenact,
- 11:14Speaker 1: to act out, and to be about. We are here

- 13:29Speaker 1: Oh you know, realizing uh, everything that's going on, which
- 13:38Speaker 1: you mean, it's hard to put it in because he
- 13:39Speaker 1: has so many good points that what we are, we're
- 13:44Speaker 1: not a culture, We're a kingdom, and that you got
- 13:48Speaker 1: to realize that help is gonna come to you in
- 13:52Speaker 1: in in sources that you don't are not aware. It

- 14:54Speaker 1: it can be if we wanted to be right, Steve, Uh,
- 14:57Speaker 1: it's all on what you expect. Control your attitude, You
- 15:02Speaker 1: control your altitude. That's just the true statement, folks. I
- 15:06Speaker 1: love it and I'm in control of my attitude. You know,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you can get me all balanced jazz for a minute,
- 15:13Speaker 1: but I collect myself real quick though. I'm back. Yeah
- 15:18Speaker 1: the light. Walk toward the light. Yes, And the best
- 15:23Speaker 1: way to walk towards light is quit paying attention to
- 15:26Speaker 1: people that keep coming out the dog Okay, all right,
- 15:30Speaker 1: that's the best way to do it. Man. Yeah, I mean, look,
- 15:33Speaker 1: if somebody is spreading darkness, don't walk that direction. Those haters,
- 15:37Speaker 1: those negative people, that bad energy, stay away from it. Yeah, man,
- 15:42Speaker 1: light is the other way. Let's do that today. Walk
- 15:47Speaker 1: towards the light. Yes, yes, let's see how long? Okay, cool? Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 1: well we know who ain't gonna last. Well, let's go.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Let's see how long on this show the light I'm walking.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I tell you what. I'll tell you. I'll tell what everybody. Somebody,
- 16:10Speaker 1: if somebody looked like they ain't gonna like they walking
- 16:12Speaker 1: towards the light, let's point it out. Okay, we see
- 16:15Speaker 1: somebody going down the dog path pointed out? All right, Okay, okay,
- 16:20Speaker 1: first dog statement pointed out. Jas still good, clean slate.
- 16:29Speaker 1: We're starting with the clean slate. M hour, bitter man. Okay,
- 16:36Speaker 1: late in me, you're starting out that's not how you
- 16:39Speaker 1: start already already right, pointed out Steve. That's right, clean slate. Okay,
- 16:47Speaker 1: negative into the show right now, point a minute. You
- 16:57Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it, make ja. This is not social media.
- 17:03Speaker 1: This is real life right here, this is y'all. Go
- 17:06Speaker 1: ahead on any questions. Anybody wants some advice, knowledge, some
- 17:14Speaker 1: help lift, some courage your words and situations. Okay, go ahead, Carlinson.
- 17:20Speaker 1: She had a question. Go ahead, Carlin. Since we're talking
- 17:22Speaker 1: about being positive this morning, why don't you give some
- 17:27Speaker 1: advice to Jay Anthony Brown bitter man about how turning
- 17:32Speaker 1: that negative attitude into positive? Yeah, thirty thirty year friend,
- 17:38Speaker 1: thirty five year friend. If I would Jay Anthony Brown,
- 17:42Speaker 1: go ahead, I would realize that where I am today,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I've exactly thought myself to that exact position, that he's
- 17:49Speaker 1: in a good position. Yeah, he just doesn't look at
- 17:52Speaker 1: how far he's come from where he started. And if
- 17:56Speaker 1: he would do that, well, I know why he bit
- 17:59Speaker 1: up because you know, he don't take rejection. Well. See,
- 18:03Speaker 1: Jade is like this. You know, if he in a
- 18:05Speaker 1: relationship and he loves the honeymoon phase, the beginning of
- 18:10Speaker 1: the relationship, but as soon as it turned into what
- 18:13Speaker 1: did you say? That's the beginning of the are you saying?
- 18:18Speaker 1: They can't even ask a question? Girl? He said, okay, here,
- 18:24Speaker 1: let me give you an example. Ask me some questions.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm okay, Well, you said you wanted to have dinner tonight.
- 18:32Speaker 1: What time are you gonna pick me up? So damn
- 18:36Speaker 1: you're just gonna bother me by what time? Now? I
- 18:42Speaker 1: just need to know. Yeah, I just needs to know
- 18:45Speaker 1: so i'll know when to be ready. I'll be there
- 18:48Speaker 1: when I get there. Okay, Well baby, well are we
- 18:55Speaker 1: going to a fancy restaurant or is it going to
- 18:58Speaker 1: be casual? Just why we are? He's got to go
- 19:00Speaker 1: somewhere fat fast? You know, why can't we just go
- 19:04Speaker 1: somewhere like regular people? So we're just gonna spend all
- 19:09Speaker 1: the money? What should I wear? What? What do you
- 19:14Speaker 1: think I should close? To? Hell? You what you want
- 19:17Speaker 1: to go to? Nigga? Well, I mean, okay, so are
- 19:23Speaker 1: we driving or are we going to take a car?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Because sometimes you think how you think we go in
- 19:28Speaker 1: a car? Well? I know that, but sometimes you know,
- 19:30Speaker 1: we may have a couple of cocktails or something, and oh,
- 19:33Speaker 1: so now you're gonna drink a lot too. I'm just
- 19:36Speaker 1: saying I don't want you to drive if you you've
- 19:39Speaker 1: been drinking, that's all. I'm drive, spoke weed, I don't drive.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That got all this stuff legalized that you still want
- 19:53Speaker 1: to drink? So is that? Is that what you're gonna wear? Oh?
- 19:57Speaker 1: You don't like what I got on? I just asked
- 20:01Speaker 1: if you were gonna wear that. If you're wearing a suit,
- 20:03Speaker 1: then maybe I'll put on anti dress and know what,
- 20:07Speaker 1: this ain't gonna work? Can we at least get to dinner?
- 20:17Speaker 1: I don't see how this could possibly let because I
- 20:21Speaker 1: was gonna say if we went to dinner, I was
- 20:22Speaker 1: gonna let you order for me. You pick it? Now
- 20:25Speaker 1: you want me to order your food? So you be mad?
- 20:28Speaker 1: And what I don't know? Nobody know what you want
- 20:30Speaker 1: to eat? Okay, well, you don't even know where we're going.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'll pick you gonna Well that's why I asked. Well, okay,
- 20:36Speaker 1: well I gotta ask you this. I have to ask
- 20:39Speaker 1: you this now. Will you be upset? Is it okay?
- 20:41Speaker 1: If I order a dessert? Wow? So you're gonna just
- 20:47Speaker 1: sit up there? You don't care how you gonna look
- 20:50Speaker 1: in ten years. Huh judge. So we just got to dessert. Honey,
- 20:58Speaker 1: I was being considerate because I know you have diabetes.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh but you're gonna order dessert while I'm sitting over
- 21:06Speaker 1: here just looking, which is why thoughtful. That's why I
- 21:11Speaker 1: got diabetes causing you. Well, if if we go to
- 21:19Speaker 1: the restaurant out by the by the water is it okay?
- 21:22Speaker 1: What are we driving all the way down there by
- 21:24Speaker 1: the waterfall? Well, I thought it'd be nice, you know,
- 21:26Speaker 1: romantic walk after dinner. Maybe you're not romantic walking out
- 21:30Speaker 1: cold and be on that beach at night. Damn. Now
- 21:33Speaker 1: you want to eat, get the flat now you see,
- 21:37Speaker 1: take off work. Now I got to come by and
- 21:39Speaker 1: bring soup by the house. You know, I got down
- 21:43Speaker 1: beating church complaints with reverend back down and jam water
- 21:50Speaker 1: like you don't want to be bitter man. I'll be
- 21:55Speaker 1: back right after you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right,
- 22:02Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, and entertainment news.
- 22:05Speaker 1: We can box office report. We'll tell you how media
- 22:09Speaker 1: did at the movies. Oh yeah, but right now it
- 22:12Speaker 1: is Monday, and you know what that means. Reverend Motown,
- 22:14Speaker 1: Deacon death Jammer here with today's church complaints. We are
- 22:24Speaker 1: here to d Calvin Ye at the building at preparing
- 22:34Speaker 1: to heal what enrolled. Now, yeah, go ahead, Deacon I passed.
- 22:42Speaker 1: We got a situation. The singles ministry had a fight
- 22:46Speaker 1: at media's movie at mcdilla's family funeral, Brother Van Belton
- 22:51Speaker 1: better known this Big Van about a kitty popcorn and
- 22:55Speaker 1: a kitty icy and then tried to get a refill
- 23:00Speaker 1: I had wanted it and jump about sides. I guess
- 23:03Speaker 1: that set him out about his popcorning because they didn't
- 23:07Speaker 1: want to give it to him. And now it's two
- 23:09Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Didn't damage that the Lowe theater and they
- 23:11Speaker 1: want the church to pay for it. Tell me the
- 23:16Speaker 1: name of our pariship brother an old big Van. Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 1: well everybody knows that Big Van has the mind of
- 23:28Speaker 1: a seven year old. Really, so, I don't know why
- 23:33Speaker 1: mama wouldn't win him at this movie theater. But once
- 23:37Speaker 1: he told a place up with his bigg ass, we
- 23:39Speaker 1: are not responsible for that as a church because there's
- 23:45Speaker 1: so many things going on. He's fifty one fifty, I
- 23:51Speaker 1: think that's what it called him. Well, we didn't call him,
- 23:53Speaker 1: we didn't call him crazy. He loosed minded right, Well,
- 24:00Speaker 1: he ain't even closed in his right mind downfore we
- 24:05Speaker 1: can't be responsible for him. And if we that's all
- 24:08Speaker 1: I couldn't see. But no, you had to talk about
- 24:11Speaker 1: the two thousand dollars that the movie wants us. I
- 24:14Speaker 1: just told you that's all we got to say about that.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You gonna keep worrying about it, and we ain't. We're
- 24:20Speaker 1: not sending them two thousands. So when we still talking
- 24:23Speaker 1: about dutiful. But the minister didn't get to see the movie.
- 24:26Speaker 1: So that's another situation. Who didn't see the movie? The
- 24:30Speaker 1: singles ministry, they didn't get to see the movie because
- 24:32Speaker 1: the fight broke at the popcorn play. Why I was
- 24:35Speaker 1: big van at the single man. I just told you
- 24:37Speaker 1: how to matter who wants who wants to date? Baby
- 24:42Speaker 1: hut He forty nine years old, still wear a dibble,
- 24:52Speaker 1: and I don't mean it depends either. Don't play it.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Benis out, ain't there? Well you need to know this.
- 24:58Speaker 1: The man still went to be the tool you gotta
- 25:00Speaker 1: mud to simul. Yeah, all right, well, moving along the
- 25:06Speaker 1: usher board, would like to have a they're putting the
- 25:10Speaker 1: weight living on the shouters. Uh. They want you to
- 25:13Speaker 1: weigh in before you come into the service that decides
- 25:17Speaker 1: if you can shout. Are not because this is too much.
- 25:20Speaker 1: These people are throwing their backtop these ushers out do
- 25:24Speaker 1: something about these heavy people shouting paths? Are they gonna
- 25:26Speaker 1: We don't want to stop the heavy people from shouting
- 25:30Speaker 1: completely because they is tide gibbles, Oh Lord said, come
- 25:36Speaker 1: as you are, But we do want y'all to refrain
- 25:39Speaker 1: from shouting on the right aisle, which has several loose
- 25:43Speaker 1: flow boats, and that's where the most of the damages occurring.
- 25:48Speaker 1: That so want you to stay on the left side
- 25:51Speaker 1: of the church, closer towards the real door. M pass
- 25:58Speaker 1: they shot with the spirit hits them. You know, well,
- 26:01Speaker 1: we're trying to get them to lay down and shout.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You can do the same motion. Just lay a horse
- 26:11Speaker 1: on them. Lay the same motion you have just saved
- 26:18Speaker 1: on the way and tail the floor shot up laying that.
- 26:24Speaker 1: We're gonna bring in a sister, our gayl that's gonna
- 26:27Speaker 1: give a class on pew shouting. How you can do
- 26:31Speaker 1: it without jumping up, because once you come back down,
- 26:34Speaker 1: that's where our problems is. Shout go up and then
- 26:38Speaker 1: they don't mind you're going up if you just keep on,
- 26:40Speaker 1: but it comes back down with you knocking those so
- 26:44Speaker 1: many things, all right, And we have another issue that
- 26:49Speaker 1: is a problem with these big hats black path. It's
- 26:52Speaker 1: getting out of control. I little people are complaining they
- 26:56Speaker 1: can't see during the servants and they are threatening to
- 26:59Speaker 1: leave and joined little Saviors Gingerbread Baptist Cathedral on the
- 27:04Speaker 1: other side of the top. You don't want to lose them.
- 27:07Speaker 1: And I have told the Little People congregation that all
- 27:11Speaker 1: of these seats is on the front row in the
- 27:14Speaker 1: balcony that way. Ain't nobody in your way, and you
- 27:20Speaker 1: feel tall. It's hard for them to see over the
- 27:27Speaker 1: balcony as well. Now on on on the front road, Deacon,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I was drilling holes in the wall. You two blank
- 27:39Speaker 1: pe hole. I don't think anybody wants to spend a
- 27:45Speaker 1: service peeping through a hole and to watch the entire
- 27:49Speaker 1: service path. Well, until our building fund picks up and
- 27:53Speaker 1: we can put seat through reelings up, that's what we
- 27:57Speaker 1: left with, huh. And that's just gonna be it, or
- 28:02Speaker 1: unless we could get the little people to shout and
- 28:05Speaker 1: then when they jump up they can see some then
- 28:10Speaker 1: look up and then they see a little bit and
- 28:13Speaker 1: then they see a little bit. You see what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 28:17Speaker 1: move on. We have a serious istory pass and the
- 28:21Speaker 1: extra board emergency hearing is tomorrow morning. We are yes,
- 28:25Speaker 1: it's an emergency hearing. We are missing two baskets of
- 28:28Speaker 1: money from the tithe and offering. Brother Caesar Jenkins has
- 28:34Speaker 1: a new used car. Uh. He's our primary suspect that
- 28:37Speaker 1: we are in tech and unterrogating tomorrow. Well, um, it's
- 28:42Speaker 1: that's brother Caesar. Jacob got a used car. It looks
- 28:48Speaker 1: like I'm a whoop Caesar ass because that was the
- 28:52Speaker 1: the Love Offering collection. Yeah, that was to come to me.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And I'll be exactly how much is missing, Deacon. I
- 29:06Speaker 1: think it was around twelve dollars Paths, you know what.
- 29:10Speaker 1: That's a season was with me when I was down
- 29:13Speaker 1: at the lock the other day looking at that car.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Really twelve hundred black beut black beat damn. But they
- 29:24Speaker 1: gonna they're gonna be talking to him the same way
- 29:28Speaker 1: they did Kaberanaugh Path and so that he's gonna be
- 29:30Speaker 1: in the hot seat. I'm gonna talk to him like,
- 29:36Speaker 1: who are you talking about? Deacon? All of the deacons,
- 29:39Speaker 1: old old George Cabanaugh like, yeah, oh, I thought you
- 29:44Speaker 1: was talking about I thought you were talking about Cabanaugh Kaepernick.
- 29:49Speaker 1: That's cold is his parents names? I get him confused
- 29:55Speaker 1: all the time. Now, wasn't that dead boarded Neil? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 1: lost her job, got his check. You ain't heard from me?
- 30:07Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. Pastor and Deacon, thank you
- 30:11Speaker 1: all so very much. Coming up at the top of

- 51:58Speaker 1: your letter live on the air like we're gonna read
- 52:01Speaker 1: this one right here, right now here we go dark lady,
- 52:05Speaker 1: buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 52:07Speaker 1: ye here it is the strong. My hair is light. Okay, listen,
- 52:14Speaker 1: subject Can't Keep living a lie. Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 52:18Speaker 1: married my husband by mistake. He is in law enforcement
- 52:22Speaker 1: on a special drug task force. But I'm starting to
- 52:25Speaker 1: think that he is involved on the wrong side of
- 52:28Speaker 1: the law. We have a nice, big, lavish house, and
- 52:32Speaker 1: he just bought me a very expensive car that's so
- 52:36Speaker 1: nice I can't even drive it to work. It just
- 52:39Speaker 1: doesn't add up. After asking him millions of questions and
- 52:43Speaker 1: getting half wit responses, I threatened to leave him. I
- 52:46Speaker 1: feel like I was definitely tricked into this marriage. It
- 52:50Speaker 1: happened so quickly. He took me to dinner on New
- 52:53Speaker 1: Year's Eve, proposed to me and told me the next
- 52:57Speaker 1: day we'd be in Bermuda. I flew to Bermuda with
- 53:00Speaker 1: him and had a fairytale wedding three days later. Stephen Shirley,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I got caught up. Now the gifts and surprises keep
- 53:08Speaker 1: coming and it's not adding up. We dated for only
- 53:12Speaker 1: six months before the wedding, and I do love him,
- 53:15Speaker 1: but feel like I don't know everything I should know
- 53:18Speaker 1: about him. He started getting mean when I make comments
- 53:22Speaker 1: about the gifts. When I threatened to leave him, he
- 53:25Speaker 1: said that would never happen. How should I handle this?
- 53:29Speaker 1: I can no longer live a lie. Please help what
- 53:36Speaker 1: I'm scared. I'm scared for you. I'm scared for you. Yeah,
- 53:42Speaker 1: I understand you could get you caught up in a
- 53:44Speaker 1: world wind of romance and everything, but getting married in
- 53:48Speaker 1: three days. And you know, this is definitely what happens
- 53:53Speaker 1: when you move too fast and don't get to know
- 53:55Speaker 1: a person before a marriage. I got to ask you.
- 53:58Speaker 1: You said your guys were together for six months. What
- 54:00Speaker 1: were you guys doing and what were you doing in
- 54:02Speaker 1: those six months? Were you just enjoying the gifts? Were you?
- 54:05Speaker 1: I mean you said you asked him a lot of questions,
- 54:08Speaker 1: millions of questions, getting half wit responses. Well, seems like
- 54:12Speaker 1: some red flags should have gone up then, I mean, really,
- 54:16Speaker 1: you know, if you really believe that he's on the
- 54:20Speaker 1: wrong side of the law, do you have any proof?
- 54:23Speaker 1: I mean, do you have any legit, concrete proof. And
- 54:27Speaker 1: who are you gonna tell? You know? I don't know.
- 54:31Speaker 1: This sounds crazy to me. Are you questioning the price
- 54:35Speaker 1: of the gifts? Are you questioning the number of the
- 54:37Speaker 1: gifts or the types of the gifts that he gives you?
- 54:40Speaker 1: You say, he starts to get mean when you comment
- 54:42Speaker 1: on the gifts. You got to stop commenting on these gifts.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know what to tell you. I mean,
- 54:49Speaker 1: if he is on the wrong side of the law,
- 54:51Speaker 1: you're in trouble. This marriage is in trouble if he's
- 54:54Speaker 1: on the wrong side, because seriously, who are you going
- 54:57Speaker 1: to tell you can't go to the law if he's
- 55:00Speaker 1: on the wrong side of the law and they're working together.
- 55:02Speaker 1: But I mean, I know just from watching movies that
- 55:04Speaker 1: sometimes when these guys are on these special task forces,
- 55:08Speaker 1: you know, they have to look the part, act the part,
- 55:11Speaker 1: and all of that. So it could be that you know,
- 55:14Speaker 1: you just moved too fast. Um, And that's all I
- 55:18Speaker 1: can tell you, because if it's true what you think,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I have no idea how you can get out of this.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I really don't. Because you told him that you were
- 55:26Speaker 1: threatening to leave him, and he said that would never happen.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Dunt dune done. You know this is serious, Steve Hell
- 55:34Speaker 1: I'm scared too. This is what. I don't even know what.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I don't want to answer this matter because he can
- 55:40Speaker 1: find me because you're he knows where I am. I
- 55:45Speaker 1: really don't want to even get involved with it. I
- 55:47Speaker 1: don't even know what you're even talking about, what you're
- 55:50Speaker 1: tripping for, because he all he isn't man O. Look,
- 55:58Speaker 1: I don't know what run right. You need to lead
- 56:05Speaker 1: this country. You gotta passport witness protection because you just
- 56:10Speaker 1: got involved with a man that he are you and
- 56:12Speaker 1: you know he is a law enforcement on a special
- 56:16Speaker 1: drug task force. But I'm starting to think he's involved
- 56:20Speaker 1: on the wrong side of the law. Why because y'all
- 56:24Speaker 1: got a big ass house, even bought your special car.
- 56:26Speaker 1: You can't even try to work. Quit your job. Didn't
- 56:31Speaker 1: try the car, car quit. You ain't got no job.
- 56:37Speaker 1: I'm driving the car to be a housewife. Like, I
- 56:43Speaker 1: don't know what the hell going on. Now, let's just
- 56:46Speaker 1: get into the meeting. You say you married him by mistake? Really? Yeah,
- 56:52Speaker 1: how you married by mistake? You mistakenly got on the planet,
- 56:57Speaker 1: you went to Bermute to by mistake, You had the
- 56:58Speaker 1: fantasy fantasy when Bama's take, you said, I do Byma's take. Now,
- 57:04Speaker 1: you didn't marry him, You didn't know who you was mad,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and you didn't matter him. Now I think it's early
- 57:10Speaker 1: enough for you. Might you can get this a nub. M.
- 57:15Speaker 1: You can probably get this a nub Did you excuse me, Stephen?
- 57:19Speaker 1: Did you not hear read the line where it says
- 57:22Speaker 1: when I threatened to leave him, he said that that
- 57:24Speaker 1: would never happen. That's different he got different. You can
- 57:28Speaker 1: get this done without him. No, No, I'm listen. You're
- 57:33Speaker 1: gonna have to this. You have an option. You're scared
- 57:36Speaker 1: of his ass. You ain't never heard witness protection program.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Change your name, leading stake. You're gonna be leaving at
- 57:42Speaker 1: Omahau somewhere. You black, They're gonna turn you into a
- 57:48Speaker 1: white woman, three white kids and white husband. You're just
- 57:51Speaker 1: going about your liar. You got some do this hitting
- 57:55Speaker 1: on what to tell him. But dam I'm scared. I
- 58:00Speaker 1: k threatened to leave him. He said that it never happened. Now,
- 58:03Speaker 1: let's talk about this right here. What could really have
- 58:06Speaker 1: happened when you're in drug enforcement. Three things could be happening.
- 58:11Speaker 1: You could be taking payoffs drug boys stay alive because
- 58:16Speaker 1: you let him exist. You could be going into building
- 58:21Speaker 1: and you could be taking a cut, or you drug
- 58:26Speaker 1: busting people and you ain't turning it in. All the
- 58:28Speaker 1: money okay, ain't all the way runs? Then you don't
- 58:35Speaker 1: got this card, this big house here in drug enforced.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Then you got yourself in a little situation. What you
- 58:43Speaker 1: gotta do is create a paper trail that says you
- 58:45Speaker 1: don't know what the hell going? All right, So when
- 58:49Speaker 1: we come back. It's gonna be are in that now.
- 58:59Speaker 1: This is gonna be easy because Shirley, you're going to
- 59:03Speaker 1: ask me, Yeah, the drug enforcement dude, a series of
- 59:08Speaker 1: questions that a wife would have to ask the man
- 59:13Speaker 1: that's the drug enforcement Okay, thure you the one Shade
- 59:17Speaker 1: to be the wife because he plays a great wife.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Jay will be the wife. Okay, you talk about it. Yeah,
- 59:26Speaker 1: we'll let part two of Steve's response and a reenactment
- 59:30Speaker 1: with Jay playing the wife at twenty three after the
- 59:33Speaker 1: hour that's coming up right after this. You're listening to show,
- 59:38Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Subjects can't keep living a lie. She can't keep living
- 59:46Speaker 1: a line. Me and Shirley can't keep opening ourselves to
- 59:50Speaker 1: exposure just because we can't get involved in this hill.
- 59:55Speaker 1: You're married to a man that's in the drug enforcement agency.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Y'all got a big house and he about you an
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: expensive car. You can't even try to work then what
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: to hear? We posted to do? You haven't told him? Man,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you think of the stake you set up being trying
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to figure out how y'all live in this large on
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: his paycheck. You didn't told him you think about leaving.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He told you it had never happened. I believe him.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. The best thing
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you can do is good than know. But you got
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to start. You got to start making your suspicions numb.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You can't report it to the police because the police
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: usually be in on stuff like this. Exactly. No, hell no, hell,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: who she gonna tell you can't go to the police department.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: It's never just one corrupt police officer. He's got to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: be working in tandem, because if you're on a drug
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: enforcement you gotta be down there with more than one person.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: You ain't walking in the housing by yourself. Right, You
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: have seen enough of these moves. I know, gonna hear
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: where they got to split the money up. Exactly. So
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: here's your problem to me, is that's right, here's your
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: problem if you now have to find a way to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: tell him that you leaving. And let's see how you
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: would bring it up to the I'm the drug enforcement ages, Jay,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you the wife. Let's go, ready, Samuel, Samuel, can I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: talk to you for a minute? Show show show baby?

- 1:01:26Speaker 1: when I came into the bedroom, there's another fur coat.

- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you like for I love. Ain't it cold outside? It's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: very cold? Okay, what you're tripping fold in, I'm not tripping.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I'm just asking where are you getting his fur coats?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: And I got a box of diamond rings rings. You
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: like diamonds. I love diamonds. Diamonds's girl, best friend. I'm
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: never gonna wear all these Gucci suits, No way in it.

- 1:02:20Speaker 1: look here? Mean when you ask him look here, you
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: won't live a nice life. That's what I'm trying to provide. Okay,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: now what you're tripping form We don't have the room.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: You ain't got the room. Oh you need a bigger house, Hey,

- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Help you, hey, listen to them, Listen to me, Listen

- 1:03:28Speaker 1: drug enforcement, I'm in forcing these drugs. People. People can't
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: be living all that, you know, we out here being
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: the law and everything they live in how they want

- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Let's go, Tommy girl, let's go. We have a special
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: edition now breaking news, breaking news like Carla Farrell is
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: here with reality Update. All right, thank you, nephew. Yes,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: this is a special edition on Monday. I hope everybody
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: had a chance to check out Real Housewives of Atlanta
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: shot Yes, Jay, Yes, all right, so check this out, guys. Niny.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: She decided to have a bye wig party, just saying
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: bye bye to so come. She wanted all of the
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: girls to come to the party without wearing a wig,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: we any hair extensions, hair, just your natural hair coming.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Who does that? Yeah, and so you had to rock
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: your own hair anyway, party, shut up? Yeah, and then
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I don't even I didn't even get the theme of that,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: because I mean, as women, you can still have long
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: hair and rock weave and wigs, and I didn't even
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: get all that. But anyway, Shamari da Vote, this is
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Ronnie d Vote's wife. She was there at the party,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: and she invited two friends. I don't want invite two
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: friends to somebody else's party. But anyway, Yeah, she came
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to Nani's house two friends, and this girl got drunk. Shamari,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: she was really really intoxicated. And Porsche and Marlowe they
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: were late to the party, and Marlowe came about six
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: hours later to the party. Right, So Nini was you know,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: she was thrown shots at Porsha and Marlow for being
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: laid or whatever. But then marlow got sick of it,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: and so Marlow was basically saying that Greg who was
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: in the hospital, he had surgery, he had to go
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: back to the hospital. Anyway, Marlow's point was that Greg
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: text text her text Marlowe to say, check on Ninie,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: check on my wife, and he also texts the same
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: message to Cynthia. So Marlowe's point was the day before,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: she was all concerned about Ninie checking on her. She
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: was afraid that Nini was going through something because it
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: was really serious what was happening with Greg. And so
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Ninie broke down. I mean, she had a mental breakdown
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: at this party, crying, just falling apart. Candy everybody was
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: trying to comfort her. Candy was even saying, you know,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: you've never seen Ninie breakdown like that. So I guess
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: it just came out all of that or what she
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: was dealing with with Greg, with her husband, and Marlowe
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: was like, look, I'm your friend, I'm your sister, I
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: care about you. I called your son. So it just
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: all came out then later on, so it seemed like
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: they squashed that right. Everybody came together. They were all
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: still there hanging out. Shamari she still was intoxicated. She's
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: vomiting in the bathroom all on Eva's shoes. It was
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: a mess. Yeah, it was just bad. It was just
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: it was just not sexy. It's just not a good
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: look for you to get like that, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: like boa what you're doing. You gotta, you know, pull
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: yourself together. So Marlowe, all of them, they're upstairs. They
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: checking on Ninie. Okay, you've calmed down, now you're cool.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: And then Porsha and Candy said, hey, you know y'all
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: were all up here. You forgot about us. We want
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to check out your closet, Ninie, what's up with your closet?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Because you know Nini always talks about a closet in
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: our house. Need the girls want to go look at
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: the closet. This is Porsche Candy. Now take a listen
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to what happened Stiff. They go get Devin bringing about
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: my closets? All right? Who this is? Where right here?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Y'all gonna bade me get fight? No, let your friends?
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: So these are your friends? I try you. I'm gonnacause
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: y'all not about y'all have my closet because all y'all
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: trying to be nosy this goal. Yeah, at the end
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: of the day, don't go what happened my closet? Playing
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: with me? I want you up. I don't take my
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: who went off. She just went off. She grabbed the cameraman,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the photographer, she pulled him by his shirt. She pulled
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: them back. She did not want them in the closet
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: trying on. She ran after them, and it was like
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: the end. Obviously this would be a cliffhanger for next week.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: But at the end it sounds like that was Porsche saying,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you know, take this off of me, take this Micau's
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Porsche's pregnant, so you know, you running charging at her.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: This man has a camera. It was just it was
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: just unbelievable that she did all of that about them
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: looking at her closet. That sounded crazy. You see over
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it sounded crazy. Did you see anything in the close
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: not mean that they don't already have, Yes, somebody off
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: like that, Yeah, I think it something I don't know.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: And then you know what they did, Marlow or Sina
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: did bring her cocktail after she had her first breakdown
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: side you know, no, no cocktail. You don't need nothing mixed.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: You know, when you go off like that, you can't
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: mix it with with juice and stuff. You need something
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: or just on rocks. So is this because of the
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: stress she's going through with greg Or is this about
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: something else? I don't know this combination of things. I
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: think it's we didn't Yeah, we got to go and
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: take a field next time. We got to see what's saying? What? Yeah,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: might have just been hand man, just a hand you know,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: just a half clones. This is crazy. If you watch
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: it last night, hit me up at lips of Carlo.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: We can continue to talk about the ladies. Wow, thank you, Carla.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, the guys
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: are gonna talk about two of the newest biggest contracts
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: in sports history. Wow. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: morning show? All right time, let's talk sports guys. Junior,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: what's you god? What's going on? Oh my gosh? This
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: money is for real out here in this baseball Why
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: we didn't play? What? I need to stand? What the
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: hell are we doing on radio? We need to be
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: filled ban I mean. Bryce Harper signed a contract to
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: play for the Philadelphia Phillies for thirteen million, three hundred
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: and thirty million. Wow, thirteen million, three hundred and thirteen years,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: three thirty million, Junior, is these numbers two big two
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: big thirteen hundred million, three the man thousand dollars or
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: there's a lot of money. Thirteen years, three hundred and
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: thirty million dollars. Thirteen years, three hundred thirty millions. God,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: and then Manny Machado signed a deal with the Padres
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: for ten years, three hundred million. What what is we
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: do doing with this baseball? How hard he is? Baseball?
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: You ain't gotta be sucess with thirty percent of the time.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: It's hard. It's hardball every day. What Jake for that
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: much money to hit me in the head every day?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't even swing. I just get hit. Three million,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: three hundred million over ten years or thirty million year
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: at thirteen thirteen years. Wow, think I think Manny's got
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the better deal. Yeah, for ten years on them, but
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: either one shining bonus, but that comes with that. But
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: seeing baseball, they money because it's guaranteed. Yeah yeah, oh
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: it's done. So if they get hurt, if they get hurt,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: they in if they have a bad year, they get paid.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: The an't working. Football, they cut you. You your your
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: contract over. Yeah, football, you donna play you a Baseball
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: is April to October. Yeah, it's long. They started. Baseball
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: play a lot of games. Yeah, they do spring training
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: right now. Man, hundred million. I'm out there every day.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I'm answering questions for three three and thirty million dollars.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I'm answering question. Ask me anything about baseball. I'm laying
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: that top down. When you have that helping cover the
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: field up, I'm raking during the seventh end and stretch.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I'm raking dirt, y'all. Ain't got don't worry bout I
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: got that. I got time. I'm selling a hot dog. Hey,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: not confessions. I played left field, but I call somebody
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: out at first. I could throw the ball from my
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: car over the stage for I'm driving them in. That's
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: that's some money. Man, with that money. Well, I'm an
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: equipment manager. I'm watching jockey straps up. I'm talking, but
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I'm talking about in there just picking them up with
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: my hands. Man. Yeah, I don't have that right here.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: That is crazy. Still went on glove. Nope, thirty meal,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: you catching the ball back handed handed, dog. That's a
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: lot of money. That's a lot of paper right there. Question.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: You guys are spots people. Why don't they do this
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: in football to make these ball players have guarantee money? Well,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: first of all, first of all, it's a sixteen game
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: season versus one hundred and sixty. Yeah, it's sixteen games
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: versus one hundred and sixty sixteen games in football. Yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: sixteen games in football if you don't make the playoffs,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty games in baseball if you don't
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: make the playoffs. The other thing is football teams have
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: fifty three players. I believe it's way more brutal than baseball.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Though it's higher turnover, your expects the lifespan of a
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: baseball players much longer. Yeah, and you know, they just
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: got more ways of getting it done in baseball, So
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of course to the numbers are gonna be high because
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: it's less people. There's not fifty three baseball players on
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: a team, so you got longer seasons, less players. It's
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: on twenty five people. People that go to baseball games
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: and watch baseball like that. Oh yeah, yeah, it's some
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: some some cities don't do well. For Chicago, Cubs got
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: those afternoon games. Y yeah, Yankee Stadium is full. Yeah,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: you know, Atta Atlanta too, yeah yeah, or the Astros
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: since they won it. I know in Houston, Oh yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: they want day day they won it would be thirty
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: people at the game. For they wanted at minimum. That's
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: a lot of much. With staff, that's a lot of money.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: And there's a lot of money, man, a lot of money.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: If I had a son, he'd be on the baseball
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: like like you, Tommy, Jordan needs to have bat and
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: glove in his hand. You already do. That's all we need.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Do you already got? I tell him, y'all should play baseball.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: That's man money. Yeah, I just hope it stick with
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: it good. Also, y'all. Also here about Jason Window. What
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: are coming back? He coming back to the Cowboys? Wow,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: thirty seven year old. He ain't getting three hundred and
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: thirty me. He got like a one year deal, like
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: three million to go back to play for the Cowboys.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: And it's been a minute, that's been a scene. He
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: gonna retire for one year. He came right back. He
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: just wait. I want to hear some more about what
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: you are would do what I would do for three
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: hundred and thirty million. I'm taking tickets. I'm actually playing naked.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: You ain't gonna give me no uniform, none of man,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: he gonna keep that blurred patch on you. Huh. Come on,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: let's go. Here's I'm biaka. I can't say that what
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: he said. Don't ask you can't ask you next moment,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: don't ask me. I'm just I'm just making my statements.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: And y'all just gold Tommy, you're naked on the field,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: and just come to me when you want to. After
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the game. I'm chewing all the bases clean. We have
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: one time we go, I'm wiping all the umpires between Yeah,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: all right, look, we gotta get out of here. We'll
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: let more of to Steve harpybody, y'all right after them.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: You're listening to morning show, all right? Guys. Before we
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: went to break un you came up with some incredible,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: unbelievable money that these players have signed for in baseball.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Three hundred million and three hundred thirty million. Yeah, that
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: is hard. But we just talked about what we would
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: do if you paid us this much better to play baseball, right,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and we left off with Steven. Can you remind us,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Steve what you said before? I told them I'm wiping
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: all the They all readers that ignorant. I got you.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I got you, sir. If you're doing that, then I'm
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: washing balls. The one they played with, the one play with. Yeah, yeah, yes,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: made by rawlings. Yeah yeah, yeah baseball. Yeah, because you
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: know I like baseball. My favorite part of the game. Yeah,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: A fight breaks out and they come from under that
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: dug out. Clear, they ain't even got to come out.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I'm fighting everybody, come up like I'm everybody for three
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: and thirty minute. When they do clear the dug out,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I'm mopping it. They out that fight. I don't have
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: to spit on the ground, spit in my hand. I'm

- 1:27:09Speaker 1: but it's not how to Train Your drag that boy?
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Was it? That part of the second part of the

- 1:27:40Speaker 1: In other entertainment newsdia To made so much damn money.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: I want to come out as Medilla's sister, and other
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: entertainment news, like I was saying, Valencia P Love, this
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: is the woman now who paid for r Kelly's bail.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Remember last week he's reportedly received a bomb threat at
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: her one time workplace, which just so happens. I hate this.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: That just so happens to be a daycare all right, Yeah,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: that's really sad. Chicago police confirm the details of the
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: bomb scare, saying multiple calls came in Saturday reporting a
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: bomb threat. Law enforcement sources, well, we can't hurt no kids. No, no, really,
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: that makes no sense at all. We can't hurt children. Yeah,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: law enforcement sources Steve say that authorities did not find
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: an explosive device at the daycare center. That was great
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: news and luckily no one. Let's just home threat mimic
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: that we debating. Really, man, you you doesn't work there time?
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Former Yeah, come on, Valencia P Love you'll recall posted
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars bond for our Kelly. She also
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: posted a lengthy statement afterwards, saying r. Kelly wasn't a
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: monster and that she was inclined to believe he's innocent
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: of the charges he's facing. What maybe she didn't see
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: the movie Surviving. Maybe she's uh and some sad news
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: to report. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: of former contestant of the Reality of the Voice. Thirty
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: three year old Joyce Freeman, passed away from an extreme case. Yeah,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I saw this on the Instagram from an extreme case
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: of pneumonia and a blood clot. Joyce was a fan
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: favorite and Miley Cyrus really really really loved her. Yeah
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: yeah she could saying yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: stars are doing tributes just fans all over social media.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: So man, and she was on Miley Cyrus's team, so yeah,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: yeah she was. Yeah, yes, I remember that. Jay Yeah,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: all right, yeah, really sad three years old? Yeah, just
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: ye all right, coming up the last break of the
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: day and Steve's closing remarks. You don't want to miss
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to. All right, Steve,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this Monday.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: It's been a good day. We've had some fun today.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Thank you, and now it's time for you to take
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: us home get back to work. With some closing remarks.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: You know, something, as I get older and I go
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: through things in my life, one of the things I've
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: become really comfortable with is sharing my own personal experiences
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: with people and hope that they can learn from some
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: of the experiences I've had, some of the mistakes I've made,
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: and so, you know, one of the things I wanted
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: to help people with out there because everybody has their
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: share of haters out there, and so I just want
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: to talk to you for just a second about the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: people that you surround yourself with. It's important that you
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: take constant inventory in your life to make sure that
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: you don't have dead weight attached to you. It's important
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: that you don't have people or who are in a
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: relationship with you that's just one sided. It's important that
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: you know that everybody in your life is important to
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: you and would be there for you in the moment
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: of the rest. Now, if these people don't fit that bill,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: then I'm sorry. You got to do something else. But
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: you got to watch people. You got to constantly monitor
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: people because people change, especially as you elevate in life.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: As you elevate in life, people have a different perception
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: of you. Seeing what I found in getting more and
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: more and more successful. It is not that you change
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: as you becomes more and more successful. It's that people's
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: perception of you changes. So now it becomes all now
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: they think they all that are now they think they
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: It is because of that when an actuality, you can
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: very well be the same person. You're just at a
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: different level. But it's amazing, man, when you get to
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: this other level, in order for people to throw rocks
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: at you, it ain't level no more. They got to
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: throw their rocks up at you. And it kind of
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: disheartens you from time to time as you're just minding
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: your business and going through your life and doing what
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: you do to get people throwing rocks up at you.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: And now a lot of people out there that can
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: relate to what I'm saying. It's not that you think
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: you better than somebody, but it's just that you've gotten
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: yourself in another level. You've just leveled up. And when
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: you level up, you can't be concerned with the people
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: that ain't up there with you, because a lot of
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: people ain't up there with you because they wouldn't even
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: fit up there with you. Know how. The majority of
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: people ain't up there with you, because if God wanted
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: them to be up there, he to put them up there,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: but he didn't. He put you up there. And it's okay,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: that's just what it is. You up there. It's not
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: for everybody this place that you've reached. I'm just sorry, man,
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: it's just not for everybody. And you gotta understand that
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and don't get disheardened. Man, when when when when you
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: get up at the top and it starts to feel lonely.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: I was talking with somebody the other day. You know
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: the problem with being at the top is like being
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: on the pyramid. It's a sharp point at the top
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: of that pyramid. Ain't a lot of friends up there,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: ain't a lot of company up there because guess what,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: it just ain't a lot of room up there most people.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: And then now when you do have friends, they write
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: up under that pyramid. They there and you know what
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: they do. They to support system for you. And you
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: find that in people all the time. But man, if
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you're not careful, if you're not really really careful, and
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: you're not monitoring people along the way, it's not you.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: The changes. They change, their perception of you changes. So
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: once their perception of you changes, they attitude towards you changes.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: I can't count the people, man, I can't count the
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: people in my life, man who for one reason or
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: another felt like it should have been them, or for
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: one reason another they just got jealous of you because
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: of what you had. I was talking to Jamie Fox
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: at this party the other night, and Jamie Fox. I
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: showed him something that he had posted on Instagram. He said, wow, man,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I'm glad that meant something to you. And what he
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: posted was some people only hate you because of the
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: way other people love you. Y'all, remember that some people
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: only hate you because of the way other people love you.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: Do you know that That's simply all it takes for
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: some people to hate you. You ain't got to have
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: done nothing to them. But people get sick of your success.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: People get tired of you. God always blessing you, How
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: you always why they get another call from why they
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: keep getting a promotion? What they doing over there? They
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: always brag my day, baby did this, they baby did that? No, no, no,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: no no. Some people only hate you because the way
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: other people love you. So you got to constantly monitor
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: people in your life, man, because, like I said, you
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: get more and more successful. It's not you who changes.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: It's the people's perception of you who changes. And if
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: they can't make the adjustment, then you have to make
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: the adjustment. You got to get rid of people who
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: don't mean you ill. You got to get rid of
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: people who are non supportive. You got to get rid
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: of the people that's always bad news. You got to
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: get rid of the people that you always got to help,
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: but they ain't got no help for you. Am I
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: talking to you? And are you listening? You can't help everybody.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Drop it, that's all you can do it for three
