- 0:38Speaker 5: I want to joy. Yeah, joy, you got to use
- 1:06Speaker 5: love you.
- 1:24Speaker 2: You gotta turn we.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Got to turn the mouth turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 5: turn the mouth, turn out the money.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on you think that, Uh huh, I sure
- 2:03Speaker 6: will A good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Oh come on now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: dig me if you will.
- 2:10Speaker 6: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 6: one of the things about being successful. And I was
- 2:18Speaker 6: sharing this just the other day with a young man
- 2:23Speaker 6: and he asked me. He said, hey, man, I just
- 2:26Speaker 6: don't see how you get up that early in the morning.
- 2:31Speaker 6: I just don't see how, man, it would kill me
- 2:33Speaker 6: to get up this early in the morning. Well, I
- 2:36Speaker 6: sat down and I'm listening to it because it's just
- 2:38Speaker 6: a thousand times I've heard it, you know, And my
- 2:41Speaker 6: life is, you know, not too different from a lot
- 2:44Speaker 6: of people's lives. There's a lot of people out there
- 2:46Speaker 6: that rise early. And I just sit there, man, because
- 2:50Speaker 6: I mean, first of all, I'm grateful to be able
- 2:53Speaker 6: to have a job. I'm so grateful to be able
- 2:55Speaker 6: to do one and sevil that I happened to enjoy doing.
- 2:58Speaker 6: I mean, you know it's work and it's difficult at times,
- 3:01Speaker 6: but I mean, you know I wanted this.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You know you got it.
- 3:05Speaker 6: You know you can't ask God for nothing any give
- 3:07Speaker 6: it to you and be mad that you got it.
- 3:08Speaker 6: Don't make no sense.
- 3:09Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:10Speaker 6: The problem with asking God for stuff is a lot
- 3:13Speaker 6: of times we ask it for stuff we don't really
- 3:15Speaker 6: know what all it encompasses, what all it really is.
- 3:17Speaker 6: And I ask for this now along the way, I've
- 3:21Speaker 6: gotten far more than I asked for. I want you
- 3:23Speaker 6: to do understand that, and you know that's His grace
- 3:27Speaker 6: at work in my life. But I get up early
- 3:30Speaker 6: and I go to work because I do understand something
- 3:33Speaker 6: that it is not walking up to you. Nobody walks
- 3:36Speaker 6: up to people normally and just hand them checks all
- 3:40Speaker 6: the time, and enough checks to sustain your life, and
- 3:43Speaker 6: not only sustain it, but to have a life that
- 3:46Speaker 6: where you could enjoy and do some of the things
- 3:48Speaker 6: you want to do. I don't know the person that
- 3:50Speaker 6: walks out hands out that money just to be doing
- 3:53Speaker 6: it and then with a lifestyle though, where you can,
- 3:56Speaker 6: you know, give your kids a Christmas, you know, take
- 3:59Speaker 6: your fan. I'm on vacation, you know, a year. Once
- 4:02Speaker 6: a year. I don't know nobody passing out to kind
- 4:04Speaker 6: of money. So I get up early in the morning.
- 4:06Speaker 6: I get at it. I was taught to get up
- 4:09Speaker 6: early in the morning by my father because my father says,
- 4:13Speaker 6: ain't nothing gonna come to you while you lay in there.
- 4:16Speaker 6: And you know what, It's just true, man, it's just
- 4:19Speaker 6: a little common sense. Look, old people smart, man, they've
- 4:22Speaker 6: been around a long time. You don't get old. You know,
- 4:24Speaker 6: some old foods out there, but you know you don't
- 4:25Speaker 6: have to deal with them. But old people are pretty smart, man.
- 4:28Speaker 6: They've learned a lot along the way. And waking up
- 4:31Speaker 6: early and getting at it is one of them things.
- 4:32Speaker 6: And I ask everybody man to think about this scenario
- 4:36Speaker 6: of your life. If a day has twenty four hours
- 4:39Speaker 6: in it, and let's just say you choose to sleep
- 4:42Speaker 6: eight of those hours because they tell you you need
- 4:46Speaker 6: eight hours sleep, so you sleep eight hours, that's a
- 4:50Speaker 6: third of your life asleep. Already, just a third of
- 4:54Speaker 6: your life is spent asleep. If you're gonna do eight
- 4:58Speaker 6: hours a day, Now, let's say you have a job
- 5:01Speaker 6: that you work eight hours, and it is not the
- 5:03Speaker 6: job of your dreams. It's not your dream career, your
- 5:06Speaker 6: dream profession. It's just the one you took, like all
- 5:09Speaker 6: of us, to get it started. And then, like all
- 5:12Speaker 6: of us, some of us end up having this state
- 5:14Speaker 6: at because we've created these bills because we checked and check.
- 5:17Speaker 6: So we can't leave it because we'll lose what we've
- 5:20Speaker 6: worked for. So let's just say you got a job
- 5:22Speaker 6: that you go to work to for eight hours. That's
- 5:25Speaker 6: another third of your life. That's two thirds of your life.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Feel how you want to feel about your two thirds? Well,
- 5:31Speaker 6: I like sleep. Okay, cool, there's a scripture about that too.
- 5:34Speaker 6: But now you spent two thirds of your life one
- 5:36Speaker 6: on a job you don't care for if you're not
- 5:38Speaker 6: happy that, or one that just pays the bills, and
- 5:41Speaker 6: it's not your dream job or career. Another third of
- 5:43Speaker 6: your life is sleep. Oh now, let's hold on. Let's
- 5:45Speaker 6: talk about the one hour of preparation that it may
- 5:48Speaker 6: take to get to the job. That's seventeen hours. Let's
- 5:52Speaker 6: say your drive time. Let's say getting to your job
- 5:55Speaker 6: for the average person is anywhere between thirty to an hour.
- 6:00Speaker 6: That's an average of what it takes to average person. Now,
- 6:02Speaker 6: some people out there hustling way harder than that. But
- 6:04Speaker 6: let's just say your average is an hour getting to work.
- 6:08Speaker 6: You add another hour to that going to work. You've
- 6:11Speaker 6: now spent eighteen hours out of the twenty four doing
- 6:16Speaker 6: something that's either nonproductive, you're not happy with, you're not
- 6:21Speaker 6: pleased about. It is not your dream job, it's not
- 6:23Speaker 6: your dream profession. And rest of the time you sleep.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Eighteen hours. Now you got to come from the job,
- 6:28Speaker 6: so let's just say it's another hour to get back home.
- 6:31Speaker 6: That's nineteen hours. Nineteen hours out of a twenty four
- 6:33Speaker 6: hour day. You now have five hours left in your day. Oh,
- 6:38Speaker 6: you watch TV two hours a day. Okay, excuse me.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Let's put now you put two hours of TV on
- 6:43Speaker 6: that you've just spent twenty one. You now have three
- 6:46Speaker 6: hours in the day to do something super productive for
- 6:51Speaker 6: the development of yourself and the future of your family
- 6:55Speaker 6: and your future as a person and what you can
- 6:58Speaker 6: provide for your family. Uh Oh, I need to chill.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I need to smoke one. Uh Oh, I needed some
- 7:07Speaker 6: time at happy. I seem like all I do is
- 7:09Speaker 6: dry to work and go to work. I'm gonna go
- 7:12Speaker 6: out with the fellas drink one. Okay, Let's say you
- 7:16Speaker 6: spend two hours at Happy I don't nobody go to
- 7:19Speaker 6: a Happy Hours yet for a hour. Let's say you
- 7:21Speaker 6: spend two hours at Happy I'll all smoke in all
- 7:23Speaker 6: some video games. Let's throw that in there. Two hours
- 7:26Speaker 6: of smoking, chilling video games. That's twenty three hours of
- 7:30Speaker 6: your day gone. Don't you see how your day slips
- 7:32Speaker 6: away from you? So why would you get up early?
- 7:37Speaker 6: You get up early to get a jump. You get
- 7:40Speaker 6: up early to produce, to plan, to become productive. You
- 7:44Speaker 6: get up early in the morning to care about every
- 7:47Speaker 6: single minute of your day. You wake up early in
- 7:50Speaker 6: the morning because you have a plan, a mission, You
- 7:54Speaker 6: have something you want to accomplish. The earlier you get up,
- 7:56Speaker 6: the more time you have just for you to devote
- 7:59Speaker 6: to your plan, and you map it out, you make
- 8:02Speaker 6: some send some emails, whatever it is you need to
- 8:04Speaker 6: do to get your dream under way.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Then you go get ready. Then you get in your
- 8:10Speaker 2: car and go to work.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Then you go to your job, but on your job,
- 8:13Speaker 6: instead of sitting at your lunch break messing around with
- 8:16Speaker 6: a bunch of people laughing and talking about nothing, playing dominoes.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Why don't you take that hour to do some more research,
- 8:22Speaker 6: to send out some more emails, to put some feelings
- 8:25Speaker 6: out there, to see what can get you in the
- 8:27Speaker 6: place that you want to be. Then when you get off,
- 8:30Speaker 6: instead of driving straight home, why don't you go somewhere
- 8:33Speaker 6: in a meeting, you take in a session with some
- 8:36Speaker 6: people in a positive mental state, group of people that
- 8:39Speaker 6: get together. Network for business, not drink at happy hour.
- 8:42Speaker 6: I set network for business. So after you've done that
- 8:45Speaker 6: eight that you don't really care for on a job,
- 8:48Speaker 6: you spend some more time pursuing, looking into researching, working towards,
- 8:53Speaker 6: sending out some more applications, putting in some more time
- 8:57Speaker 6: to build your new app discussing some more new working ideas. Okay,
- 9:01Speaker 6: that's your happy hour. Then when you go home, instead
- 9:04Speaker 6: of chilling drinking one, having a cold one, smoking one,
- 9:08Speaker 6: playing a video game, why don't you take that two
- 9:11Speaker 6: hours and devote that to that business idea. You got
- 9:15Speaker 6: to that family that you talk about, you really want
- 9:17Speaker 6: spend some time with your children, put something into them.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Do something.
- 9:21Speaker 6: Man, with all these precious hours that God gives all
- 9:25Speaker 6: of us in the course of a day. Take advantage
- 9:28Speaker 6: of every minute of that. No human being has more
- 9:31Speaker 6: than twenty four hours a day, including myself.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But if you care about every single minute of that.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Day, you'll be amazed at how much you could get
- 9:41Speaker 6: accomplished in a twenty four hour day. But you can't
- 9:45Speaker 6: get none of that happening because you sleep, and you
- 9:48Speaker 6: chilling and you smoking. Okay, what has that done for you,
- 9:53Speaker 6: your family or your future? Care about every minute of
- 9:57Speaker 6: your day.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 10:28Speaker 6: best part.

- 13:14Speaker 6: I don't care how many of y'all it is. I
- 13:17Speaker 6: went to a new assembly one time. I was surrounded
- 13:21Speaker 6: by two hundred oops. When I walked in, I was
- 13:24Speaker 6: that Q and they knew it. That's all I have
- 13:27Speaker 6: to say. Long we will make as I fire congratulations
- 13:31Speaker 6: to the brothers to the day I die.
- 13:35Speaker 9: Coratulation coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,

- 13:53Speaker 9: Around the holidays, it's hard to find the right gifts,
- 13:56Speaker 9: but you know, it's even harder getting the right gift.

- 14:17Speaker 9: you could keep them all to yourself. No one has
- 14:19Speaker 9: to know. Stop by your local Verizon. All right, nephew,
- 14:24Speaker 9: it's time for you to run that prank back.
- 14:26Speaker 1: What you got for us?
- 14:27Speaker 10: HI break you today? Your son is two fat. Let's
- 14:30Speaker 10: go get doc.
- 14:32Speaker 11: Hello.
- 14:32Speaker 12: Hello, I'm trying to reach Kathy. Please.
- 14:35Speaker 11: This is her.
- 14:36Speaker 12: Hi, Kathy, this is Kirby. I'm actually the owner at
- 14:39Speaker 12: the daycare for mine's daycare when your son comes. Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 12: all right, I'm sure you're familiar with my wife, Anita. Yes, sir,
- 14:46Speaker 12: all right, how you doing today?
- 14:48Speaker 11: I'm good?
- 14:49Speaker 12: Oh how little little Divan? How's he doing?
- 14:52Speaker 11: He's good. He's laying down taking the nap.
- 14:54Speaker 12: Okay, you guys have been coming here. I guess about
- 14:56Speaker 12: a year now, right, yeah, since he was one. Okay,
- 15:00Speaker 12: I wanted to give you a call. I'm looking at
- 15:02Speaker 12: some information I was I was Divonne doing at home?
- 15:06Speaker 12: Is he is he eating properly at home?
- 15:08Speaker 11: When you say eating, what do you mean?
- 15:10Speaker 12: I mean? Is he getting meals every time he's supposed
- 15:14Speaker 12: to get them while he's at home?
- 15:15Speaker 11: Yeah, he's doing pretty good.
- 15:19Speaker 12: Okay, Now there's there's there's no situation where you guys
- 15:21Speaker 12: may be a shortage of food or anything like that.
- 15:25Speaker 12: Are you uh.
- 15:27Speaker 11: Short as the food? No, sir, my husband works real good.
- 15:30Speaker 11: We don't have a problem with as short as the food.
- 15:32Speaker 11: Is there a problem with him?
- 15:34Speaker 12: Well, you know, we're looking at the records and little
- 15:37Speaker 12: divs too, Yes, sir, have you looked at the comparison
- 15:41Speaker 12: of two year olds the majority of two year olds
- 15:44Speaker 12: in comparison to I guess I should say size in
- 15:47Speaker 12: comparison to Divond's side.
- 15:49Speaker 11: You mean like in body way body size. I mean
- 15:52Speaker 11: he's a little tall. You know, he wasn't a small
- 15:55Speaker 11: chap when he's born. He was ten pounds. But no,
- 15:57Speaker 11: he's on the scale of right where he's should be.
- 16:00Speaker 11: He's just a little you know, taller to his daddy
- 16:03Speaker 11: is tall.
- 16:03Speaker 12: But he's doing okay. So you you don't think he's
- 16:07Speaker 12: anywhere in the in the ballpark of of of of
- 16:11Speaker 12: obesity at two?
- 16:13Speaker 11: You mean fat?
- 16:14Speaker 12: I mean, I didn't want to be blunt, but but
- 16:16Speaker 12: but miss Cathy, you're I mean, I mean your son.
- 16:21Speaker 11: Let me just say on a Sunday, I'm relaxing and
- 16:24Speaker 11: we're talking about you think my son is a little
- 16:26Speaker 11: overweight or what he's what's the problem?
- 16:29Speaker 12: Well, I mean I think he's fat, you know. And
- 16:33Speaker 12: and the problem I'm gonna happen here is that I'm
- 16:35Speaker 12: noticing the records of everything as we wait.
- 16:38Speaker 11: We need to back up to you think he's fat.
- 16:40Speaker 11: I've never spoken to you mister Kirby, Is that what
- 16:43Speaker 11: she said?
- 16:43Speaker 12: My name is Kirby.
- 16:44Speaker 11: Okay, So every morning that I dropped him off for
- 16:47Speaker 11: a year and I give my daycare money. Miss Benita
- 16:50Speaker 11: has never said anything about his eating habits. So you're
- 16:53Speaker 11: telling me that you think my son is fat?
- 16:55Speaker 12: What with him?
- 16:56Speaker 11: You deal with him on a daily basis.
- 16:58Speaker 12: I don't deal with him on a daily basis when
- 16:59Speaker 12: I look at yet as records that are showing me
- 17:01Speaker 12: that he's eating way more than the rest of anybody
- 17:04Speaker 12: at the daycare. And not only that, he's drinking probably
- 17:07Speaker 12: a gallon of milk a day.
- 17:09Speaker 11: A gallon of milk. Y'all only get snacks two times
- 17:12Speaker 11: a day and he's there only for breakfast in lunch,
- 17:15Speaker 11: And how in the hell is he drinking a gallon
- 17:16Speaker 11: of milk? And if he answer, ma'am, But all I
- 17:21Speaker 11: know is this, No, No, I'm blown away by this
- 17:23Speaker 11: because you calling me on a Sunday color of my
- 17:24Speaker 11: child fat. That's the problem. And your wife has never
- 17:28Speaker 11: said a thing. Never has she said one thing to
- 17:31Speaker 11: me in a year? Was she collecting my daycare money?
- 17:33Speaker 11: She ain't said my son is eating y'all at a
- 17:35Speaker 11: house at home.
- 17:36Speaker 12: Okay. Well, you know, my wife's a different person and
- 17:38Speaker 12: she tries to be cordial with everyone.
- 17:39Speaker 11: He's the one who deals with me. Mister Kirby, I've
- 17:42Speaker 11: never met you, never met you, especially all of a Sunday.
- 17:45Speaker 12: The reason why I'm calling you on a Sunday, ma'am,
- 17:47Speaker 12: is that I know tomorrow if you're going to be
- 17:50Speaker 12: trying to drop your.
- 17:50Speaker 11: Son off, I am gonna drop him off.
- 17:52Speaker 6: I am don know.
- 17:53Speaker 12: No, that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now,
- 17:55Speaker 12: here's what we can that's what you want. Furniture is here.
- 17:58Speaker 12: Either you can keep him at home.
- 18:00Speaker 11: No, I'm not keeping him at home. My husband works
- 18:03Speaker 11: and I work. I'm dropping my son off at six
- 18:06Speaker 11: thirty like I do every morning.
- 18:07Speaker 12: Okay, now, ma'am, listen, if we can't get.
- 18:11Speaker 11: Him, you really want to get this banita on this side,
- 18:14Speaker 11: because obviously you ain't the one that need to be
- 18:15Speaker 11: talking to me, because if you're not there every day
- 18:18Speaker 11: and I deal with your wife.
- 18:19Speaker 12: I'm telling you that your son is too big to
- 18:22Speaker 12: be his is.
- 18:24Speaker 11: Coming every morning if that's the case, and if he's
- 18:27Speaker 11: eating at a house and home, I send him some
- 18:29Speaker 11: extra But what I pay my money for. Is what
- 18:32Speaker 11: you're gonna feed him for two four meals and two snacks,
- 18:35Speaker 11: and if he needs extra, I'll put some in his bag.
- 18:37Speaker 12: But he's drinking a gallon of milk a day.
- 18:41Speaker 11: Are you you care? I don't care. There's no way
- 18:43Speaker 11: possible that he can drink a gallon of milk a day, y'all, ma'am.
- 18:46Speaker 12: Here's the deal. I don't want you to have to
- 18:48Speaker 12: stop bringing your son now, and I'm not and I'm not.
- 18:50Speaker 12: Here's my second alternative. I will put him on a diet. Okay,
- 18:54Speaker 12: I'll give him an apple in the day.
- 18:56Speaker 11: You ain't, No, you ain't, are you from the I will.
- 19:01Speaker 12: I will give him an apple and a glass of
- 19:03Speaker 12: water in the morning, and I'll give him an apple
- 19:04Speaker 12: and a glass of water in the evening. And then
- 19:06Speaker 12: you guys can feed him when he gets wrong.
- 19:08Speaker 11: You must be certified in the food program, especially if
- 19:10Speaker 11: you sitting up here telling me my son is going
- 19:12Speaker 11: on a diet and he's not drinking no water and
- 19:15Speaker 11: no apple. He needs a full snack. If the other
- 19:19Speaker 11: kids is having an apple and water, then neugh that
- 19:21Speaker 11: you better be serving him. But if that ain't the case,
- 19:23Speaker 11: of hell, No, he better get the full snack. So
- 19:25Speaker 11: if that's Graham crackers and apple juice, well that's what
- 19:27Speaker 11: my son better be getting. And if he won't ask her,
- 19:29Speaker 11: he better get it.
- 19:30Speaker 12: Listen, all I'm trying to tear you in. Your son
- 19:32Speaker 12: drink too much?
- 19:37Speaker 11: WHOA well, you need to back the stop. I know
- 19:39Speaker 11: you did not cussing me.
- 19:40Speaker 12: I know I did not cuss that.
- 19:42Speaker 11: You got ready to cut to me. Let me tell
- 19:45Speaker 11: you what say. You ain't got to worry about it.
- 19:47Speaker 11: We don't have nothing else to talk about. My husband, me,
- 19:50Speaker 11: your wife, and everybody that works at they care better
- 19:54Speaker 11: be there in the morning because that's six thirty. We
- 19:56Speaker 11: gonna be there. And my son he's coming on week
- 20:00Speaker 11: and he gonna eat all week. If he WoT two
- 20:03Speaker 11: gallons of milk, he gonna drink it. If he want
- 20:06Speaker 11: twolplates of food, he gonna get it. Because I tell
- 20:09Speaker 11: you what, we pay good money to come to that daycare.
- 20:11Speaker 12: So bring your child up there. But I'm gonna have
- 20:15Speaker 12: to put him on some swim fast. Now, I will
- 20:18Speaker 12: put your child on slim fast. I was trying not
- 20:20Speaker 12: to give him to suspective, but I will give.
- 20:23Speaker 11: Him some slim fast, and you're gonna get a slim
- 20:25Speaker 11: fast whooping. I'm gonna whoop yos. And whoever gave it
- 20:28Speaker 11: to him, whoever gave it to him, they gonna get
- 20:30Speaker 11: a slim fast whooping. All the little kids that have
- 20:33Speaker 11: some slim fast. If he getting some, he better eat
- 20:35Speaker 11: whatever they eating. If they eat steak, would he better
- 20:37Speaker 11: have some too.
- 20:38Speaker 12: If we had steak, he probably eat the whole cow.
- 20:40Speaker 11: I don't care. I pay for it, but he better
- 20:43Speaker 11: not getting a climp fast. I will shut it down
- 20:46Speaker 11: about my child.
- 20:47Speaker 12: Okay, I got something else you need to know about
- 20:49Speaker 12: your son.
- 20:50Speaker 11: What the else do I need to know? Besides you
- 20:52Speaker 11: think my son is overweight?
- 20:55Speaker 3: What the stuff?
- 20:56Speaker 11: Can you tell me today?
- 20:57Speaker 12: I need to tell you this. I need to tell
- 20:59Speaker 12: you this. His nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:04Speaker 12: Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to prank phone call you.
- 21:08Speaker 11: What did you just say? I'm gonna be said to this?
- 21:13Speaker 11: She No, I don't play aboy my son at all.
- 21:17Speaker 11: That's my only son. Don't play about him. I'm gonna
- 21:20Speaker 11: be is she there? No, it's on after this, it
- 21:24Speaker 11: is all.

- 21:52Speaker 9: They have incredible gift bundles. You get the latest phone

- 22:06Speaker 9: or you can keep them all to yourself.
- 22:08Speaker 1: No one has to know. Stop by your local Verizon.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:14Speaker 9: In entertainment news, traditional TV shows are losing viewers to
- 22:18Speaker 9: YouTube and TikTok, and reportedly homes will have more than
- 22:22Speaker 9: one Christmas tree inside this year. We'll also tell you
- 22:26Speaker 9: which pie is the most popular pie for Thanksgiving and
- 22:30Speaker 9: it's debatable.
- 22:31Speaker 1: We'll talk about it.
- 22:32Speaker 2: That's all going up.
- 22:38Speaker 9: At the top of the hour right after it is
- 22:42Speaker 9: time now to ask the Colo. All right, we're going
- 22:46Speaker 9: to talk about it though. Right after Clo. This is
- 22:49Speaker 9: from Andre and Indianapolis. You ready, Colo?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yes?
- 22:53Speaker 9: Andrea writes, I live two hours from my girlfriend and
- 22:56Speaker 9: I love having a long distance relationship. She wants to
- 22:59Speaker 9: discuss moving in together. But I don't think it's a
- 23:02Speaker 9: good idea. Should I be honest? Or do I agree
- 23:05Speaker 9: to live with my girlfriend so I don't end up
- 23:07Speaker 9: losing her?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Should he? No, don't do that, bro, don't do that.
- 23:16Speaker 12: That.
- 23:17Speaker 2: He don't do that. The rules have changed, you don't.
- 23:22Speaker 2: You don't have to go live with a person.
- 23:25Speaker 6: You don't have to. You could actually wait till y'all
- 23:28Speaker 6: decide to get married. You could do that, you know,
- 23:32Speaker 6: but you know it, don't it. Don't take that just
- 23:35Speaker 6: and we can tell you don't love her. The way
- 23:37Speaker 6: you're sending is hand you really don't.
- 23:42Speaker 1: In a long distance relationship.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Really, that's what he liked. He like him over here exactly.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that freedom?
- 23:51Speaker 7: We like that?
- 23:52Speaker 1: So should he be honest and tell her the truth?
- 23:54Speaker 1: Are you saying that?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, and listen to me. She stayed two hours away, right, Yeah,
- 24:03Speaker 2: you ain't got to tell her nothing.
- 24:07Speaker 1: But she wants them to move in together. He's got
- 24:09Speaker 1: to say something.
- 24:11Speaker 6: But if you keep driving to her and then driving off.
- 24:15Speaker 6: It's gonna be hard to move in. Don't say nothing.
- 24:20Speaker 2: She's just and just keep it as this, keep it.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Leave it like I'm looking at some property across the street, not.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Married up.
- 24:32Speaker 2: If I can move across the street, I'm telling.
- 24:35Speaker 10: You, and just come over here and visit kids when
- 24:38Speaker 10: we get ready and go back to my plane, that'd
- 24:41Speaker 10: be our stand for her, especially.
- 24:46Speaker 8: I remember them days. Freedom was a good time.
- 24:51Speaker 1: So it's the freedom for him with the long distance.
- 24:55Speaker 9: Okay, well, you're married. Did you hear what your nephew said?
- 25:01Speaker 9: You act like you have no response to that. He's
- 25:03Speaker 9: looking at a house across the street right now.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Looking at some land across the street.
- 25:07Speaker 10: If I can be all over there, or just come
- 25:12Speaker 10: over here and eat one hundred kids for dinner and
- 25:14Speaker 10: cary my butt back to my I promise you I'll
- 25:17Speaker 10: do it.
- 25:18Speaker 1: What you holding up your coffee bunk, Steves cheers.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Off.
- 25:25Speaker 9: But yeah, because he's got sense enough not to say
- 25:28Speaker 9: that stuff.
- 25:32Speaker 1: All right, we're moving on because this is ridiculous. All right,
- 25:35Speaker 1: let's move on to Mel and Austin. Okay, Mel's Mel.
- 25:40Speaker 9: Mel writes, my bestie's husband picked me up from work
- 25:43Speaker 9: and I had a dress on. He commented on how
- 25:46Speaker 9: smooth my skin looked, and he rubbed my sigh. I
- 25:50Speaker 9: got a chill and a thrill. It's awkward af with us.
- 25:54Speaker 9: Now do I bring it up to him or act
- 25:56Speaker 9: like it didn't happen?
- 25:58Speaker 6: What't have to bring it up with him. It's on
- 26:01Speaker 6: his mind. You ain't got to ever mention it to him.
- 26:04Speaker 6: He could he been he didn't wanting to rub your leg.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Girl, he liked it.
- 26:11Speaker 10: Huh.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the problem and a thrill now she said
- 26:16Speaker 6: her besties husband picked her.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, this is so wrong.
- 26:19Speaker 12: God, I know.
- 26:22Speaker 6: We got problems now, yeah, you do. I gotta I
- 26:27Speaker 6: got a chill and a thrill.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Help, that's what you're thinking. You don't think this is
- 26:33Speaker 1: my besties husband. You don't think that. Girl?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Why would why would she? Why would she write a
- 26:39Speaker 2: letter in if that? If that was it?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Exactly? The thrill part made her.
- 26:45Speaker 2: She wants to know if she should bring it up
- 26:47Speaker 2: to him.
- 26:48Speaker 1: To him, yeah, not to her right right?
- 26:51Speaker 2: She liked it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: She's in, she is here for it. Yeah, she's not
- 26:57Speaker 1: a friend.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I all right.
- 27:01Speaker 9: Moving on to Kashmir in Rochester, Kashmir writes, My nickname
- 27:05Speaker 9: is Kashmir. I've been dating a woman for almost two years,
- 27:09Speaker 9: and she gets mad at the way my female friend
- 27:12Speaker 9: say it. She wants me to stop using that name.
- 27:15Speaker 9: I'm fifty five years old, so should I change my
- 27:18Speaker 9: persona to please her?
- 27:21Speaker 6: Now?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Hey, Kashmir? Hey, what as.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Soft and silky? Smooth? Yeah? Expensive, swimming to the touch? Yeah?
- 27:37Speaker 1: But why do they call him Kashmir?
- 27:39Speaker 12: Tom? Yeah?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Stop hating.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Brother Carter.
- 27:48Speaker 13: It's his conversation. Ah, yeah, Kashre. She hates the way
- 27:55Speaker 13: the females say his name. Yeah, I understand that, all right,
- 28:01Speaker 13: So he changed.
- 28:04Speaker 2: His name now. Hell no, you know they call me
- 28:06Speaker 2: butter for years? So you know what why? I said?
- 28:12Speaker 2: They called me butter?
- 28:14Speaker 1: And I said why.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Why? Yeah?
- 28:17Speaker 6: Because I'm everything come out of here with smooth? Yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 6: and everything better with butter on it. Who don't like butter?
- 28:36Speaker 6: I don't know what did popcorn without butter? What is
- 28:39Speaker 6: toast without butter? What is cord without butter?
- 28:43Speaker 10: This letter?
- 28:43Speaker 1: This question?
- 28:45Speaker 6: What is mass potatoes without butter? What's a baked potato
- 28:48Speaker 6: without butter? If you ain't got no butter on it?
- 28:51Speaker 14: What?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Hello?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Can you help? Cashmir?
- 28:56Speaker 11: Though?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Can you help him.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, cash Man, I'm not feeling. I'm finishing. I'm feeling.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Not change my name. Okay, girl, that's why you won't meet.
- 29:07Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Yeah? What was yeah?
- 29:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 29:09Speaker 2: What was his name?
- 29:10Speaker 8: What was his best name?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Little Tommy?
- 29:14Speaker 2: Hey, Shirley, it don't mess at don't you mess with myself.
- 29:23Speaker 1: You don't do that to his best name?
- 29:25Speaker 11: Was his name?
- 29:27Speaker 12: No?
- 29:27Speaker 2: She said a little to.
- 29:30Speaker 1: A little to right. Let me disagreed.
- 29:36Speaker 2: So what did they call you?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Tommy? They just took a little off. I know the
- 29:40Speaker 1: answer to all of these questions.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Tommy.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I didn't jump in now, and he was a little
- 29:49Speaker 1: Tommy when he was little.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna let you make it, Shirley, keep him now.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Okay, what was it, Dan?
- 30:02Speaker 2: If it wasn't a little to make it going on?
- 30:05Speaker 1: Come on, keebler, l.
- 30:11Speaker 2: We go fine, I just take shots now.
- 30:17Speaker 1: She didn't want to told us it was a little Tommy. Tommy.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Love you all right? Coming over at the top of
- 30:26Speaker 1: the hour, Thank you, Cila.
- 30:28Speaker 9: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after that.
- 30:31Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve, you and
- 30:39Speaker 9: Tommy both have TV shows, so here's some new research
- 30:42Speaker 9: about traditional TV, that's what we call regular TV. Now
- 30:46Speaker 9: traditional TV, forty percent of gen zers that's ages nineteen
- 30:50Speaker 9: or eighteen to thirty four would rather watch YouTube or
- 30:54Speaker 9: TikTok content than watch regular TV or paid streaming services.
- 30:59Speaker 9: The reason and behind the shift is a new trend
- 31:02Speaker 9: called micro dramas. Now, the micro dramas are short scripted
- 31:06Speaker 9: episodes that might be of a fight or some kind
- 31:09Speaker 9: of other engaged, engaging drama to keep viewers watching. Close
- 31:14Speaker 9: to twenty eight million adults prefer these short clips over
- 31:18Speaker 9: TV shows.
- 31:19Speaker 1: So here's the question.
- 31:20Speaker 9: Do you guys think watching traditional TV and streaming services
- 31:24Speaker 9: will continue to decline over the years?
- 31:26Speaker 1: Wow, yep, you thinks.
- 31:29Speaker 6: So it's declining. That's the whole problem with regular TV.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Law its declining. Yeah, you gotta start thinking at one
- 31:38Speaker 6: point of reinventing yourself.
- 31:41Speaker 1: And why why is it? The attention span they just
- 31:44Speaker 1: don't have, well, the attention.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Span, the options.
- 31:46Speaker 6: You know, people don't sit at home anymore because you
- 31:48Speaker 6: don't have to, because you can watch anything on your
- 31:51Speaker 6: phone now, and them kids ain't got no problem watching
- 31:54Speaker 6: the show on their phone.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I can't stand it.
- 31:58Speaker 6: A big screen yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I've been trying
- 32:04Speaker 6: to watch your watch.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I'm sorry, yeah yeah, yeah, but you right, And.
- 32:09Speaker 6: I like sometimes on my streaming I try to watch
- 32:12Speaker 6: the game on my phone, but then I can't see
- 32:16Speaker 6: the football. Yeah right, I don't know who got it.
- 32:23Speaker 6: He fade back to throw. He might well just keep fading. Yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 6: it's it's it has changed, you know, and it's not
- 32:31Speaker 6: going to go back going to it. You know, it's
- 32:34Speaker 6: just not man.
- 32:35Speaker 9: Well, I think I would still watch family feud and
- 32:38Speaker 9: celebrity family feud and of course Ready to Love. So
- 32:42Speaker 9: we still watch those shows. You guys are doing all right?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, hold it, holding on.
- 32:49Speaker 14: I still think some of the younger generation, like my daughter,
- 32:53Speaker 14: they watch certain shows.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the streaming app so they do watch. But like
- 33:00Speaker 1: you said, it is a decline.
- 33:02Speaker 9: Yeah, gone out of the days when the family gets
- 33:04Speaker 9: together and sits and watches one TV show.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah sure, I never liked that in no way.
- 33:12Speaker 1: You didn't like watching good times together and good times.
- 33:16Speaker 6: And because see I wanted to laugh at it and
- 33:22Speaker 6: way you know, when I was watching good Times, I
- 33:25Speaker 6: wanted to react that they o't mind, won't be there
- 33:27Speaker 6: with nobody.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You couldn't do that with your mom in the room.
- 33:32Speaker 2: They almost come in home. I had a reaction to.
- 33:36Speaker 1: All right, Moving on.
- 33:40Speaker 9: According to popular Christmas retailer Balsam Hill, forty Americans plan
- 33:45Speaker 9: to put up a tree, put up three or more
- 33:48Speaker 9: Christmas trees this year, turning their homes into winter wonderlands.
- 33:53Speaker 9: The living room remains the top spot, but dining rooms
- 33:55Speaker 9: and hallways or getting in on the action too. Many
- 33:59Speaker 9: say they're spending more time and money on decorating this
- 34:02Speaker 9: year than they did in years past, and said it
- 34:04Speaker 9: makes them happier.
- 34:05Speaker 1: People want to be happy now.
- 34:08Speaker 9: It creates a welcoming space for loved ones, and the
- 34:10Speaker 9: trees make their homes look better in photos.
- 34:13Speaker 1: So have you put have you guys put your trees
- 34:15Speaker 1: up yet?
- 34:16Speaker 2: And how many?
- 34:17Speaker 6: Not yet?
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:19Speaker 12: Not yet?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Got to have Thanksgiving first.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Thanksgiving, that's when you put them up.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:25Speaker 1: How many trees are you going to put up this year?
- 34:28Speaker 2: That's not my job. I don't know.
- 34:30Speaker 1: But it might be more than one, you're saying.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I know, good. Hell, well, it's motive one.
- 34:34Speaker 1: So it's more than one in my house.
- 34:40Speaker 8: Be just one tree, everybody go around one tree.
- 34:42Speaker 1: One tree.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all you have and ain't a junior? How
- 34:47Speaker 2: many trees?
- 34:48Speaker 1: How many? How many?
- 34:49Speaker 5: Two?
- 34:51Speaker 15: Where she has to have because she's been talking to
- 34:56Speaker 15: the neighbors. They got moti one tree. That's why we
- 34:58Speaker 15: got moti one tree. Now it's keeping up the jinger stuff.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I'm not Jones. My name is.
- 35:08Speaker 8: I don't like none of this, junior.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Do you have a barbecue grill? Yeah, where I'm in
- 35:14Speaker 2: the backyard?
- 35:16Speaker 1: What but what else would it be?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Is it go out? Go see if it's still there? Why?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Because they know what he's trying to think of?
- 35:31Speaker 2: Because what I think? Think?
- 35:32Speaker 11: What?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Because you ain't got no fence?
- 35:35Speaker 8: They were still barbecue grill.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Hell yeah, he's a nice neighborhood.
- 35:41Speaker 2: You're not going to have to come by and visit.
- 35:43Speaker 8: Mister Harvey.
- 35:44Speaker 2: There you go, all right.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Hard to sit in the backyard and smoke a cigarette
- 35:51Speaker 6: when your backyard is an open field. I've come to
- 35:55Speaker 6: your house and sitting in the backyard smoking cigarettes like
- 35:57Speaker 6: sitting on the prairie smoking the cigaute.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Finally, all right, guys, this is up for debate. Debate.
- 36:03Speaker 9: Let's let's get into this. The most ordered Thanksgiving dessert

- 49:52Speaker 10: Well, what we're trying to do is show a good
- 49:53Speaker 10: example to the youth that we got there.
- 49:56Speaker 17: Okay, you can show a good example about me being
- 49:59Speaker 17: there paying my time as an offer.
- 50:01Speaker 10: Well, that's another thing that's been brought down attention that
- 50:04Speaker 10: that we're gonna be calling a lot of members about it.
- 50:06Speaker 2: People not paying the tithe and where they fold.
- 50:08Speaker 10: I pay my task.
- 50:10Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 50:10Speaker 17: I don't know who told you that, Deacon Mars. I
- 50:13Speaker 17: don't even know, first of all, who you are, and
- 50:15Speaker 17: I'm not trying to be mean to you, and I
- 50:17Speaker 17: don't I don't even understand why you how you even
- 50:20Speaker 17: got my phone number. I pay my task, I pay

- 50:26Speaker 17: your secretary or whoever.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Let me let me, let me ask you this, ss me.
- 50:30Speaker 2: If you do you pay your tithes according to what
- 50:33Speaker 2: you make?
- 50:35Speaker 17: Yes, I do check the books.
- 50:38Speaker 10: Now, what it is that we can't check the books,
- 50:40Speaker 10: that we don't know exactly what you make?
- 50:43Speaker 2: Is what I'm saying.
- 50:45Speaker 17: What I make is my bustiness between me and Jesus.
- 50:50Speaker 17: I give him his ten percent and that's all Mars.
- 50:53Speaker 17: He'll need to know.
- 50:54Speaker 2: And I understand exactly where you're coming from.
- 50:56Speaker 10: But the main issue on the table is about to
- 51:00Speaker 10: boards and and and being you know, disrupted the way
- 51:03Speaker 10: to here.
- 51:03Speaker 2: They don't want that to be to bleed over into
- 51:06Speaker 2: the youth quad.
- 51:07Speaker 17: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, And first of all,
- 51:09Speaker 17: I would appreciate if you would have Pastor to tell
- 51:12Speaker 17: me this hisself. And then, second of all. If somebody
- 51:16Speaker 17: kids is having trouble in the world or whatever, y'all
- 51:18Speaker 17: supposed to play for them, not put them after church
- 51:21Speaker 17: or they Mama, Well.
- 51:22Speaker 10: I'm I'm what I'm we're gonna we're gonna pray for
- 51:25Speaker 10: and we're gonna pray for you too, But we don't
- 51:27Speaker 10: want to shad over to the youth that we got
- 51:30Speaker 10: that doing.
- 51:30Speaker 17: Good with this man, I'm gonna keep coming. Y'all can't
- 51:34Speaker 17: stop me from coming to the church. I'm gonna keep coming.
- 51:37Speaker 17: So I don't know who you talking to. And you
- 51:40Speaker 17: tell a pastor to call me himself and tell me
- 51:43Speaker 17: I can't come to Heal and you have nobody calling
- 51:46Speaker 17: me telling me that I can't come to Hell.
- 51:49Speaker 11: That is a free church.
- 51:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna get the pastor call up.
- 51:53Speaker 17: Why you get the pastor to call me, because you
- 51:55Speaker 17: have no business calling me telling me that I can't
- 51:58Speaker 17: come to.
- 51:59Speaker 10: God's House, Mayfield, I don't want you to get in
- 52:01Speaker 10: the roll with me now.

- 52:06Speaker 12: I work.
- 52:06Speaker 17: I don't work eighteen sixteen hours today. I don't have
- 52:10Speaker 17: half nobody calling me telling me that I can't come
- 52:12Speaker 17: to a church that I pay my task and offering
- 52:14Speaker 17: are not that I own the church. I pay my
- 52:17Speaker 17: task because that's that's due to God. But y'all really
- 52:20Speaker 17: making me upset by telling me I can't come there
- 52:23Speaker 17: because of my kids in their troubles.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Mayfield, where was you this past Sundery? You wasn't that.
- 52:29Speaker 17: I wasn't that church because I had over step? And
- 52:32Speaker 17: why is that any of your business?

- 56:50Speaker 9: Thank you, nep you subject the jump off jumped on him.
- 56:53Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm thirty two years old and I've
- 56:56Speaker 9: been dating this guy for almost eight months, and we've
- 57:00Speaker 9: had fun getting to know each other. He was honest
- 57:03Speaker 9: in the beginning and told me he had some loose
- 57:05Speaker 9: ends to tie up before we got serious, and I
- 57:08Speaker 9: appreciated that honesty. The fact that he didn't hide his
- 57:12Speaker 9: phone or turned his ringer off made me feel that
- 57:15Speaker 9: he was ready to be in a relationship with me,
- 57:17Speaker 9: so I didn't trip all. We went out all over town,
- 57:22Speaker 9: and I stayed at his home all of the time.
- 57:24Speaker 9: The only thing that made me suspect suspect he was
- 57:29Speaker 9: up to something was a few nights I couldn't reach him,
- 57:32Speaker 9: but I let it go. I invited him to visit
- 57:35Speaker 9: my parents with me. My parents live about two hours
- 57:38Speaker 9: from us, so we went on an overnight trip to
- 57:41Speaker 9: visit them. They cooked dinner for us, and after dinner,
- 57:45Speaker 9: my man and I went out to a hookah spot
- 57:47Speaker 9: to unwind. My boyfriend got a phone call and walked
- 57:51Speaker 9: away to take it. He got upset and he was
- 57:54Speaker 9: ready to go back to my parents' house. We got
- 57:56Speaker 9: to his car and there was a car blocking us in,
- 58:00Speaker 9: and he asked the car to move, and the lady
- 58:02Speaker 9: flipped him off. I didn't think anything of it. When
- 58:05Speaker 9: we got to my parents' house, that same car pulled
- 58:08Speaker 9: up in the driveway. This same lady got out and
- 58:12Speaker 9: ran up and start started hitting on my man. My
- 58:15Speaker 9: dad heard the commotion and came outside to pull her
- 58:18Speaker 9: off my man. The lady said she's been seeing my
- 58:23Speaker 9: man for a few months, and she followed us. I
- 58:25Speaker 9: was very embarrassed and reluctantly took him to the er
- 58:29Speaker 9: to get stitches. In her words, she told police says
- 58:34Speaker 9: she knew she was the jump off, but she fell
- 58:37Speaker 9: in love with him and he would leave me for her.
- 58:42Speaker 9: He said, he got caught up slept with her, but
- 58:45Speaker 9: he wants me. Can I trust this man and continue
- 58:48Speaker 9: this relationship despite just what happened, what just happened, Well,
- 58:54Speaker 9: he certainly has no control over what crazy did. I mean,
- 58:58Speaker 9: she did that all on her own, game him stitches
- 59:00Speaker 9: and all of that, But the crazy part is that
- 59:03Speaker 9: this really happened. I mean, she's fatal attraction crazy like
- 59:07Speaker 9: the movie. You do know that, right, And now she
- 59:10Speaker 9: knows where your parents live. She stalked you guys from
- 59:13Speaker 9: the restaurant, beat your man so badly that he needed stitches.
- 59:17Speaker 1: And she's only been seeing him for a few months. Well,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I'm sure your.
- 59:22Speaker 9: Parents would tell you to run, and I'm probably go
- 59:25Speaker 9: I'm going to tell you the same thing.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I mean, your safety is way more important.
- 59:29Speaker 9: Even though she didn't do anything to you, she just
- 59:31Speaker 9: did it to your man, But you don't want to
- 59:33Speaker 9: wait around and see how crazy she really is.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Again, I think your safety is very important.
- 59:39Speaker 9: And even if you were to keep seeing him, you
- 59:41Speaker 9: would always be looking over your shoulder wondering if crazy
- 59:45Speaker 9: could be lurking in a corner somewhere. So you know,
- 59:48Speaker 9: I'm going to say it's a no for me for
- 59:51Speaker 9: you as far as this relationship goes, because this woman
- 59:54Speaker 9: is too crazy. She's just too crazy.
- 59:56Speaker 6: Steve, Well, I don't have the letter in front of
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: because of my whereabouts again, so we're going to have
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: to deal with this letter just a little bit differently.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: The title of the letter again surely.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Is to jump off jumped on him.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: Jump off jumped on him. The jump off didn't jump
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: on you. He didn't jump on you. His daddy jumped
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: on the jump off. It's just a lot of jumping
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: going on. I appreciate it. Ay none to me like

- 1:00:35Speaker 6: I specialize in this cause I have been jumped on
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: before by the jump off, the jump ee, and the jumper.
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: I've had all three whoopers in my life, the jumper,
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: the jump ee, and the jump off, and then I
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: ended up as the.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Jump So it's all all so relative here.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: The wonderful thing about having a famous radio show hods.

- 1:01:27Speaker 6: with you a lot? Of course it makes for more

- 1:11:49Speaker 6: to get out. Now, surely gave you good advice. My
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: take is different. Shirley was almost there with me, but
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: then she switched. He told you it was some problems
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: he had. The problem he dating the crazy. Now he's
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: probably a good man, but he dated a crazy and
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: he put it on the crazy person too good. See,
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: when you're dating a crazy person, you can't give them
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: your all in all, but he don't know that because
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: he's young, y'all, in your thirties, he don't know that. See,
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: you have to portion it out based on sanity.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: You can only what.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: You have to portion it out based on sanate. See,
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: crazy people, you can't give them your all. You have
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: to wait until you meet a calm, sensible woman for
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: you start giving it your all. You give it all
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: to a crazy person. They already crazy. Now you in
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: here touching spots and causing chemical reactions and stuff and
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: they already crazy. Now you're just set up. Here a
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: slept did bipolar heffel. Now here come hell stitches, Steve stitches.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: That's how good it is to bust you outside your
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: head and give you stitches. Jas mss Sullivan was breaking
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: our cardboard and she was busting faces.
- 1:13:13Speaker 18: It's all the same. I push the windows out your car.
- 1:13:20Speaker 18: I put some stitches on your head. I spin open
- 1:13:27Speaker 18: your phone.
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: Hey, send you to the doctor, may cause you to
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: stay in bed.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: I put some stitches in your head.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Sing it too much?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Yes, based on what you said.
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: Leading coming from Today's letter Instagram and Steve Harvey FM
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: dot com.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Check out the Summary Letters podcast on demand.
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: Hi, my name is Carlos Miller and I'm Chico Bean,
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: and I'm the food with the tattoo.
- 1:14:02Speaker 19: And you are now listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:05Speaker 19: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:12Speaker 19: This is from Veronica in Fort Worth. Veronica says, I
- 1:14:16Speaker 19: owned a boutique with a friend. We had a water
- 1:14:18Speaker 19: leak that damaged a lot of the merchandise and it
- 1:14:21Speaker 19: was covered by insurance. My friend is still selling some
- 1:14:25Speaker 19: of the merchandise and I think that's illegal. Do I
- 1:14:28Speaker 19: ask her to split the profits or steer clear of
- 1:14:31Speaker 19: this in uh? In case it's illegal?
- 1:14:35Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: Yes, splitter?
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: Yeah, why weren't you splitter?
- 1:14:38Speaker 10: Well?
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Is she selling it and ringing it up or she
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: just selling it?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she didn't say how she was selling it. She's
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: just selling it.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: They ain't got nothing to ring up with.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Yeah, way, we can't water damage.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: It is illegal. But what is what's wrong is that
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: that's a recent illegal right there?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: That was wrong?
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Man? What if y'all y'all just bee y'all? Do you
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: know how miracle was built? Yeah?
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: We do, Okay, we definitely do.
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: So you think she should steer clear of this in
- 1:15:20Speaker 9: case it's illegal? So she's not not participate in the profits?
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Okay? Not participate in the profits?
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Is your stuff? Why would you not participate in? Really?
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Always want to white? Answer? Go ahead, go ahead, answer.
- 1:15:34Speaker 12: That's right.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, this is not a racial question.
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: If they go to court, it's gonna have something to
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: do with color in here.
- 1:15:44Speaker 12: Now. Yeah.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: The question is do I ask her to split the
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: profits or steer clear of this in case it's illegal?
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: You're saying it's illegal, so should she participate take in
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: the profits or just.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: You not do that?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: You're clear?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: All right, you're still clear of it? Did yes? Please? Yeah?
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Today safe free.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: There was no conviction in that answer.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: She all on vacation, saving for a KI everything you
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: he obey in law? Huh?
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: All right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: from Sunjay and Telsa. Snjay writes, My husband and I
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: talked about having a threesome and I never gave him
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: a definite yes on it. The other day I asked
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: if he had a female in mine and he said
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: that he did. But he's changed his mind and he
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: doesn't want to do the threesome. That makes me skeptical.
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: He's not willing to tell me who he wanted to
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: do the threesome with, So I think he's having an
- 1:16:54Speaker 9: affair with the lady. If he's having an affair, is
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: it my fault for entertaining the idea of being with
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: another female?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Wow? That's loaded.
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: Well yeah, you know, if you was okay with the threesome,
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: then he went cool. Now he having a threesome. It's
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: just you ain't there, he's yeah, it's you here matter her?
- 1:17:23Speaker 12: Yeah, it's.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: So it's her fault for bringing to it in the
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: first place.
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: You're saying, well, I'm not saying is your fault. He
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: wanted to do it when he found out you was
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: kind of considering it. He went on and did it,
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: and he got somebody in mind. But the problem is
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: he'd have probably been with this woman and nine when
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: y'all get together, she gonna say something real messed up
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: while y'a do it like you did the other day,
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: you know, something like that. That's what's gonna happen. That's
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: why he trying to He don't want to do it
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: now because stand the man that actually ask it again?
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: Why she keeps saying again.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Not the other part.
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: Fun.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I'm glad she changed her mind.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: You're the best I ever had. How she knows you're
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: a mess.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: So so you're saying, yeah, she's asking is it her fault?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: You're saying, it's not that it's her fault, but she
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: should have never entertained it.
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: Well, look, you can't. You just can't introduce foolishness into
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: your marriage.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: That's so I can't do it.
- 1:18:45Speaker 9: All right, all right, Sanjay and Tulsa coming up at
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:20:17Speaker 13: Yes, we got attitude winning because he had put some
- 1:20:22Speaker 13: story on the radio about me one time.
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: When do you used to talk about me like a
- 1:20:26Speaker 6: dog on the radio? Till I went to the office
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: and say, hey, man, you do know I'm y'all's morning
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: drive guy.

- 1:25:28Speaker 6: We have fun at a fier day to the brothers
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: over Maka sci five one motime. So you know what,
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: just a couple of fun statements about it. I guess
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: you know you pledge what you relate to, whether you're
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: an alpha sigma, capro q iota, whatever you are. I
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: guess you got a pledge with what you relate to.
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: And then it's the time period that you grew up here.
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: These are my closing remarks, by the way, and which yeah,
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: where where you pledge? Way you chose to accept the call.
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: You know, it's it's a it's a it's a strange thing.
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: You can interject anything.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: You want to times.
- 1:26:07Speaker 10: I just want every Greek organization to know that there's
- 1:26:10Speaker 10: nothing wrong with your Greek organization and you're not going
- 1:26:13Speaker 10: to hell for being in one.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: That's all I want to say. Thank you.
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought that was that was one of the
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: most ignorant things I've ever heard. And uh, you know, look,
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: if you want to denounce being in the frat when
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: you get older, that's you. You ain't active, no way,
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: but just go ahead on. But don't write off hundreds
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: of millions of people because they're in a fraternity or
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: sorority and tell them that they go on to hell?
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: What ass at?
- 1:26:40Speaker 12: What?
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: Where? Where is that?
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: And it don't make no sense. Do you know how
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: many great ministers are in the poor pit who are
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: in a Greek organization? Do you know how many great
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: members are on deacon boards, usher boards, in politics, in teaching,
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: in sports, on the radio, and all because they in
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: a group that you not in. You done wrote everybody
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: off and they got to go to hell now for
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: what It doesn't make no sense, you know. And like
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: I was saying, you know, everybody, you get to be
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: whatever you want to be. Man, all of them cool,
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: all of them cool. I was watching some offers stepping
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: on on our Instagram the other day. They was getting it.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: I saw some sigmas.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: They was, They was getting it. You know, it's hard
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: for me.
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: I ain't really good at complimenting other frats. I'm just
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: gonna be real with y'all's just really not that good
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: at it.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I just try to.
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: I try to be open minded and complimented. I just
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: ain't good at it because I guess because you chose
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: what you chose for a reason. Tommy is a Cappel.
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: I'm a cue, That's it. J Anthony Brown is a Sigma.
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: But I will say this about Radio q's controlled adways.
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: That's all I'm saying. I'm just I'm just gonna throw
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: that out come Black radio run things. Q's running things
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: up in here. But can I tell you something, man,
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: one of my best friends I ever met is a Cappel.
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: A guy that took care of me at college, the most,
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: that taught me the ropes was a dude named John Tolliver.
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: He was an alpha, the coldest singers I ever heard, saying,
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: up under a street light, what's some sigmas? Them sigmas
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: at Kent State is seventy four Sunday five, Sunday six.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Oh Lord, have mercy. The boys was cold.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: So you know, it's just a matter of what you do.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: I don't the sororities, all of them cool with me.
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: I like all of them, you know, And so frst man,
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: I'm just talking. It ain't nothing, junior. Let me ask
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: you a question. Man, if you had pledged, what would
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: you have pledged in college? That'd be an interesting question.
