- 3:00Speaker 2: Be about it?
- 3:02Speaker 6: What's it all?
- 3:02Speaker 7: For?
- 3:03Speaker 5: Get at it today now, Steve, you're making some some
- 3:08Speaker 5: some some big statements here.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Uh huh yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 5: But oh you know I'm gonna clean it up for you,
- 3:13Speaker 5: don't you Cause you know I don't just throw it
- 3:15Speaker 5: out there without without the how two part. See the
- 3:18Speaker 5: how two part is usually where most people stop, they
- 3:22Speaker 5: tell you this, what you gotta do is, what you
- 3:23Speaker 5: gotta do, is what you gotta do. Then they don't
- 3:25Speaker 5: tell you how to That's why I don't. I don't
- 3:29Speaker 5: get off the boat right there.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:33Speaker 5: If you're trying to figure out if you're trying to
- 3:35Speaker 5: get your life a mission, and you're trying to figure
- 3:38Speaker 5: out the purpose and what the high calling is, and
- 3:40Speaker 5: you want to be about something, and you're trying to
- 3:43Speaker 5: figure out what's it all for, and you want to
- 3:45Speaker 5: go get at it today, here's the trick. God knows.
- 3:52Speaker 5: God knows the answer to all those questions. He knows
- 3:58Speaker 5: what your mission in life is. He already know what
- 4:01Speaker 5: your purpose is. He already know what the higher calling is.
- 4:04Speaker 5: He already know what you got to be about. He
- 4:07Speaker 5: already know what is all for. He already know what
- 4:10Speaker 5: you need to go get at. God knows, you know why.
- 4:14Speaker 5: He knows because He created you. And God created all
- 4:19Speaker 5: of us with a purpose in mind. Irregardless as to
- 4:23Speaker 5: how we were created, we were all created with the
- 4:26Speaker 5: purpose in mind. He got a mission for us, He
- 4:30Speaker 5: got something he wants from us, he got something he.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Expects of us.
- 4:34Speaker 5: He has a life of abundance prepared for each and
- 4:38Speaker 5: every one of us that will lay claim to it. Now,
- 4:41Speaker 5: if you don't want that, then gone and start making
- 4:44Speaker 5: decisions on your own, possibly like you have. Now, let
- 4:48Speaker 5: me ask you something. Since you've been making all the
- 4:50Speaker 5: decisions on your own, Where you at, where you at
- 4:54Speaker 5: with it? How you feel about it every day? How
- 4:57Speaker 5: locked in on your mission?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Are you?
- 4:59Speaker 7: What?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Are you on a good purpose? Plan?
- 5:02Speaker 8: You know?
- 5:02Speaker 5: Do you feel like your life is in a higher calling?
- 5:05Speaker 5: Do you know what you about? Do you have an
- 5:08Speaker 5: understanding of what it's all for? Are you up every
- 5:12Speaker 5: day going and getting at it?
- 5:15Speaker 2: See?
- 5:16Speaker 5: Come on now, So now I'm asking you if you've
- 5:20Speaker 5: done this without talking to God or without checking in
- 5:23Speaker 5: with your creator?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Can you answer all those questions? I can flat I'll
- 5:28Speaker 2: tell you you can't. I know for a fact you
- 5:31Speaker 2: can't because you can't know how good your life can.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Be, and you won't have a life as good as
- 5:41Speaker 5: you want it to be until you have connected with
- 5:44Speaker 5: the one that created you. You better understand this one now.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Please understand. This ain't Steve just over here ranting and raving.
- 5:52Speaker 5: This is Steve after having years of figuring this one out.
- 5:57Speaker 5: But it's all in the Bible, it's all in holy writings.
- 6:03Speaker 2: But you know I ain't got time for that.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Don't go church like I'm posed to. Don't read the
- 6:09Speaker 5: Bible or the scrolls or the Koran or whatever your
- 6:13Speaker 5: faith is. You don't read all that it's in there.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Though it's in there. But we're humans, so we go
- 6:24Speaker 5: get at it the way we see it. Let me
- 6:26Speaker 5: tell you what happened to me. See while I was
- 6:30Speaker 5: getting at it the way I saw it, or to
- 6:32Speaker 5: be got at You understand me. When I was defining
- 6:36Speaker 5: my purpose, when I was creating my own mission, when
- 6:40Speaker 5: I was laying claim to what my calling is in life,
- 6:44Speaker 5: let me tell you what I was doing. I was deferring.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I was deferring the abundance that He really had for me.
- 6:53Speaker 5: I'm just now listen to me. I'm just now getting.
- 6:57Speaker 2: At it for real.
- 6:59Speaker 5: I've been working towards it all my life. I didn't
- 7:02Speaker 5: know it though, But see, because God is so merciful
- 7:06Speaker 5: and so full of grace, he allowed me to make
- 7:08Speaker 5: all the mistakes I made, And then when I finally
- 7:12Speaker 5: came to him, he said, all right, now I'm gonna
- 7:14Speaker 5: take all of them. Is to tell you how cold
- 7:16Speaker 5: I am. Now this this God. Now I'm gonna tell
- 7:18Speaker 5: you how cold God is. He takes all the mistakes
- 7:23Speaker 5: you made, all the failures you made while you was
- 7:26Speaker 5: making your own decisions. He takes all of that and
- 7:30Speaker 5: uses them as valuable gained and learned experiences. And he
- 7:35Speaker 5: takes that and allows you to be who you are today.
- 7:38Speaker 5: See God, God ain't gonna let you forget what you did.
- 7:43Speaker 5: But here's something cold too. He ain't gonna let what
- 7:46Speaker 5: you did go for not.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Oh, oh, what you say to see.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Let's see that's what's cold.
- 7:53Speaker 5: See all the mistakes I made, every lie I told,
- 8:00Speaker 5: every traumatic experience I went through, I put anybody through.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Any time.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Man, I was out there tripping trying to justify it
- 8:10Speaker 5: as right. He said, all right, okay, But now because
- 8:14Speaker 5: of my mercy and my grace, what I'm gonna do
- 8:20Speaker 5: is I'm gonna allow all this to happen. You're gonna
- 8:23Speaker 5: waste a lot of time, you gonna forfeit a life
- 8:26Speaker 5: of abundance that you could have been and had. But
- 8:29Speaker 5: I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take
- 8:31Speaker 5: all of that and I'm gonna turn it into some good.
- 8:33Speaker 5: So I'm gonna let all of these lessons that you've learned,
- 8:37Speaker 5: all of these hardships, all of these moments are despaired,
- 8:40Speaker 5: come back and you'll use them and you'll wear them
- 8:43Speaker 5: on your head like a crown.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You gonna it's gonna be jewels in your head.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Man. I'm gonna take all of that stuff and make
- 8:50Speaker 5: you knowledgeable. I'm gonna take all that stuff and make
- 8:53Speaker 5: you wise.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Man.
- 8:55Speaker 5: I'm gonna take all of that stuff and I'm gonna
- 8:58Speaker 5: put it in your mission. I'm gonna take all that
- 9:01Speaker 5: stuff and make that a part of your purpose. I'm
- 9:03Speaker 5: gonna take all that stuff and create that to be
- 9:06Speaker 5: a part of your higher calling. I'm gonna take all
- 9:09Speaker 5: that and let you be about that right there. I'm
- 9:11Speaker 5: gonna take all of that, and i'm gonna let you
- 9:14Speaker 5: find out what it's all been for. I'm gonna take
- 9:17Speaker 5: all of that, and with all of that mess you've
- 9:19Speaker 5: made of your life, I'm gonna let you now take
- 9:22Speaker 5: all that and go get at it. See, but that
- 9:25Speaker 5: only happens when you come to God. Because God is
- 9:29Speaker 5: the only one that knows what you've been through and
- 9:32Speaker 5: how to take what you've been through and turn it
- 9:34Speaker 5: into something to help you get through what you're going through.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Hey, the only one can do that. Ain't nobody else
- 9:40Speaker 2: like him.
- 9:41Speaker 5: There's nothing like him on this world available to you, man,
- 9:44Speaker 5: So quit tripping yourself out, get over there and talk
- 9:48Speaker 5: to God.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Man, quit waste in your life like I was doing. Stop.
- 9:51Speaker 5: I'm telling you He'll let you get at it and
- 9:53Speaker 5: can't nobody let you get at it like him.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, let's ride.
- 9:57Speaker 5: You're listening, Harymore, ladies and gentlemen. He's done it again.
- 10:04Speaker 5: God Almighty produced another great day. I'm a participant in it.
- 10:10Speaker 5: You're participant in it. We should all be grateful in it.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Today is the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 10:16Speaker 5: us rejoice and.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Be glad in it. Man.
- 10:18Speaker 5: My mom used to say that to me on the
- 10:20Speaker 5: way out to school. I ain't quite get it. I
- 10:22Speaker 5: got it now, Mama, Thank you.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Yeah. I ain't nobody making days, but God Almighty. Ain't
- 10:30Speaker 5: nobody making days but God Almighty. Man, I show appreciate it.
- 10:35Speaker 5: I am a participant and a willing participant too. I'm
- 10:40Speaker 5: gonna share something else with you too. I was having
- 10:42Speaker 5: a little lack of motivation getting in the gym for
- 10:44Speaker 5: a little short period here, I just didn't find the motivation.
- 10:47Speaker 5: I was looking for accountability partner. But then I discovered
- 10:51Speaker 5: I ain't got no friends with my age that can
- 10:53Speaker 5: come and work out at the time I need to
- 10:55Speaker 5: work out. I can stop looking for that, said, well,
- 11:00Speaker 5: why don't you work out with your sons, because well,
- 11:02Speaker 5: my son's doing a little bit different workout than me,
- 11:04Speaker 5: because if I did that workout, See, they get to
- 11:07Speaker 5: go and do their life. I got to do my
- 11:09Speaker 5: workout in the morning. I got to go to work,
- 11:11Speaker 5: so I need different type of workout because I got
- 11:12Speaker 5: to stand up all day. So anyway, I was looking
- 11:15Speaker 5: for the motivation, and then finally it dawned on me.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Steve Harvey, why don't you pray about it?
- 11:21Speaker 4: You're right?
- 11:22Speaker 5: So you know what I did Saturday? I prayed about it.
- 11:26Speaker 5: You know what I did Sunday morning, got up and
- 11:28Speaker 5: went to the gym by myself. I'm sitting up here
- 11:32Speaker 5: looking for all this external help to get me through something.
- 11:36Speaker 5: When God says, pray without ceasing and bring all things
- 11:41Speaker 5: to me, so I took it to it. I went
- 11:44Speaker 5: to the gym yesterday morning. As soon as I get
- 11:47Speaker 5: off the down. I'm gonna go in this gym and
- 11:48Speaker 5: then I'm gonna go to family feud. I was looking
- 11:51Speaker 5: for motivation when all I had to do is go
- 11:53Speaker 5: to God. He'll give you anything. Now I'm looking at
- 11:56Speaker 5: all the stuff he could go. Man, why ain't a motivation?
- 12:00Speaker 2: He a've me this life?
- 12:01Speaker 5: I can't get no motivation, man, Miss Me, Steve Hagia,
- 12:05Speaker 5: Lady Back Sharlote Strawberry, call it for real, Mississippi Monica
- 12:11Speaker 5: Junr will the wedd a Hell, Tommy Junior?
- 12:14Speaker 2: What's on your man?
- 12:15Speaker 9: I set next to a lady on the plane yesterday
- 12:17Speaker 9: and she was talking about her life, and she said,
- 12:19Speaker 9: you know when I go to God, Now, I don't
- 12:21Speaker 9: go to God asking for things no more. I'm already grateful.
- 12:25Speaker 9: But she said, I do pray for more faith, more love,
- 12:29Speaker 9: more joy, and more understanding. And then you look at me,
- 12:32Speaker 9: said do you understand what I'm saying? I said absolutely,
- 12:34Speaker 9: I said, my boss talk about it all the time.
- 12:36Speaker 9: She said, I don't have to pray for my family more.
- 12:38Speaker 9: He got my family. I need more faith, I need
- 12:41Speaker 9: more love, and I need more joy. Did you would
- 12:44Speaker 9: you be agreed with that?
- 12:45Speaker 2: I would agree with that, and then I would add
- 12:47Speaker 2: I also have some things though.
- 12:54Speaker 3: What you gonna do?
- 12:55Speaker 5: Yeah? I need some more faith, you know, I need
- 12:59Speaker 5: some more motivation. Whism be all of God now once
- 13:05Speaker 5: I put that request in. Yeah, so I'm finna keep
- 13:12Speaker 5: it one hundred with you.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You agree to add on.
- 13:17Speaker 2: With everything? She said? Yeah, yeah, some things.
- 13:23Speaker 5: He'll be putting the new suits, no ask for suits, No,
- 13:31Speaker 5: my listen, a little bit bigger than suit.
- 13:33Speaker 8: I got.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, thank you. Junior coming up at thirty two
- 13:38Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, Junior is in for the nephews.
- 13:41Speaker 1: He runs that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 13:46Speaker 1: morning show. It is time now for the nephew to
- 13:49Speaker 1: run that prank back? What you got for his nest?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Can I have yo? Kid?
- 13:54Speaker 10: Man?

- 26:11Speaker 5: that was in there and I didn't even see that shirt,
- 26:14Speaker 5: but then it came up in there.
- 26:15Speaker 2: You might also like sex, and I said, well, i'd

- 26:36Speaker 1: Why you have why?
- 26:38Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I seen your picture what I had on yesterday?
- 26:42Speaker 1: All right, last one, Steve, last one. This one is
- 26:47Speaker 1: from Ronda and Honolulu. Okay, wow, Ronda says.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Ronda says, I'm thirty seven and lonely. Lonely. I work
- 26:54Speaker 1: and I go home, so I tend to go on
- 26:56Speaker 1: dates with people I meet at the grocery store. Or
- 26:59Speaker 1: coffee shop. I have a high paying job, but the
- 27:02Speaker 1: men I meet do not. Is it cool to lower
- 27:05Speaker 1: my standards? Or should I wait for the right man?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:09Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Go there's a grocery store.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Keep shopping. You're not buying a head of letters. Now

- 27:19Speaker 2: Have you lowered your status? Do you have any Well?
- 27:24Speaker 2: If he down here trying to eat, I guess he cool.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Most people go to the grocery store. You ain't met
- 27:31Speaker 2: nothing down that lady.
- 27:34Speaker 1: She's thirty seven and lonely.
- 27:35Speaker 5: She says, Okay, well you ain't gonna stay down there
- 27:39Speaker 5: at the grocery store meeting men. Hey, if that doesn't
- 27:42Speaker 5: work out for you, I got an idea, why don't
- 27:43Speaker 5: you go over the quick Tree.
- 27:46Speaker 6: It's across the street.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Go to quick Oh, I have an idea, why don't
- 27:52Speaker 2: you go to a truck stop?
- 27:53Speaker 13: Hey?
- 27:54Speaker 2: What are you saying to her?
- 27:55Speaker 1: Really?
- 27:56Speaker 2: All the minute?
- 27:56Speaker 3: Work?
- 27:57Speaker 5: Stop hunting for men, because it's not what you all do.
- 28:03Speaker 5: You are not hunters.
- 28:05Speaker 1: So should she go online? What should she wants to
- 28:08Speaker 1: meet people?
- 28:09Speaker 5: Online? Dating works? You know they got dating sites that
- 28:12Speaker 5: will match you up. I had a couple on their
- 28:14Speaker 5: family feud last week who met online. Let me tell
- 28:17Speaker 5: you what this dude did. Black couple. He's an anesthesiologist,
- 28:21Speaker 5: his nurse. His wife is a nurse practitioner. They met
- 28:25Speaker 5: at work. He liked her at work, but he decided
- 28:29Speaker 5: not to date her at work or say nothing to
- 28:32Speaker 5: her because they worked together and he thought it wasn't professional.
- 28:37Speaker 5: They both on the same Dayton site. The Dayton site
- 28:42Speaker 5: recommended them to each other. Oh wow, So they re
- 28:46Speaker 5: met on the Dayton site. They married today.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Wow, that's crazy.
- 28:52Speaker 1: A coming up at the top of the hour, We'll
- 28:55Speaker 1: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 28:58Speaker 1: listening morning show. Amigo's co founder, Quavo, will level up
- 29:06Speaker 1: his anti gun violence efforts in the coming weeks by
- 29:09Speaker 1: creating Spark grants to benefit groups dedicated to that cause.
- 29:14Speaker 1: In Atlanta. The Rappers Rocket Foundation will divide one hundred
- 29:18Speaker 1: thousand dollars among ten local groups that he chose after
- 29:22Speaker 1: a meeting with Vice president Kamala Harris. Quevo started the
- 29:25Speaker 1: foundation a few months after to honor his bandmate and nephew, Takeoff,
- 29:30Speaker 1: who was shot and killed Back in twenty twenty two,
- 29:32Speaker 1: during a dispute that arose during a dice game in Houston,
- 29:36Speaker 1: Quevo said, in part quote, I am honored to launch
- 29:39Speaker 1: this grant program to honor take and the countless families
- 29:43Speaker 1: that have been affected by gun violence. Grant recipients will
- 29:47Speaker 1: be announced on June eighteenth, which would have been Takeoff's
- 29:49Speaker 1: thirtieth birthday. So it's a good thanks for doing.
- 29:54Speaker 2: News.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yep, anything that's violent all.
- 30:01Speaker 5: The government isn't going to do a damn thing because
- 30:06Speaker 5: the Republican Party will not allow gun control in this country.
- 30:12Speaker 5: The Republican Party will not allow gun control in this country.
- 30:20Speaker 2: We see. That's over and over and over. We see.
- 30:23Speaker 5: That's who it is that is stuck on this Second Amendment.
- 30:28Speaker 5: It is the Republicans, and they are stuck on it
- 30:31Speaker 5: because the n r A is the largest contributor to
- 30:34Speaker 5: the Republican Party.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Simple math.
- 30:37Speaker 2: That's all. It's nothing else.
- 30:39Speaker 13: I just I just don't like the fact that they
- 30:41Speaker 13: can't be brought down. I just don't like that they bigger, bigger,
- 30:45Speaker 13: so big. Nobody can bring them down and break that up.
- 30:48Speaker 13: Who who Thomas, Yeah, yeah, the n r A, that
- 30:55Speaker 13: they so big that they that powerful. Nobody can bring
- 30:58Speaker 13: them down.
- 30:59Speaker 2: No, they're not.
- 31:01Speaker 5: But see what they've done is they make so many
- 31:06Speaker 5: contributions to individual candidates and they threaten them with if
- 31:13Speaker 5: you do not keep the Second Amendment live, or if
- 31:16Speaker 5: we hear you talking about girl laws, we're gonna pull
- 31:19Speaker 5: back our financial support and dump it on your opponent.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Now the opponent will be another Republican who will stand
- 31:28Speaker 5: for the Second Amendment. They're not gonna go into the
- 31:31Speaker 5: Democratic Party. They're gonna dump it on another candidate. So
- 31:35Speaker 5: there's always one of them boys standing in line talking
- 31:38Speaker 5: about I'll take the money.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I want the power.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Everybody got a price.
- 31:43Speaker 2: So it's not that they're so powerful.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Is that the Republican parties need for power, control and money.
- 31:52Speaker 5: There are so many weak men and women that they
- 31:56Speaker 5: will do anything and sacrifice any number of lives for
- 32:00Speaker 5: their own personal game because this helps.
- 32:03Speaker 2: This has not helped the country, it helps the Republican Party.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 32:08Speaker 5: What's gonna happen is you go run up in one
- 32:10Speaker 5: of these schools and a bunch of Republicity.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Now, when all when they were doing, when they went up.
- 32:14Speaker 5: There and they shot all the people at that softball
- 32:16Speaker 5: game when all the congressman was.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Up there, they got shot.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. See
- 32:23Speaker 5: then they started talking about some gun control. Then then
- 32:26Speaker 5: I came in and said, what y'all talking about? When
- 32:30Speaker 5: we was only talking for a minute, that's what we thought.
- 32:33Speaker 5: And then that went away. Everybody, it's so sad.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Moving on to other entertainment news. J Zelle Bunchen is
- 32:41Speaker 1: in a relationship with her new trainer boyfriend, but she
- 32:44Speaker 1: insisted it was all platonic before her divorce from Tom Brady.
- 32:48Speaker 1: She tells The New York Times quote, this is something
- 32:51Speaker 1: that happens to a lot of women who get blamed
- 32:53Speaker 1: when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship
- 32:56Speaker 1: and are labeled as being unfaithful. Official story is that
- 33:00Speaker 1: she and her man started dating back in June of
- 33:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. However, they were seen vacationing together in
- 33:07Speaker 1: Costa Rica in November of twenty twenty two, just weeks
- 33:10Speaker 1: after Giselle and Tom's divorce. So, Steve, here's a question
- 33:14Speaker 1: for you. So many people struggle with the decision to
- 33:17Speaker 1: leave or stay in a marriage relationship. Experts say here
- 33:21Speaker 1: are a few signs that you should know when your
- 33:23Speaker 1: marriage is over. Here are a few signs. There are
- 33:26Speaker 1: signs of isolation. The relationship is full of conflict, you
- 33:30Speaker 1: start to see the relationship in a different way, lack
- 33:33Speaker 1: of desire. Anything you want to add to that?
- 33:37Speaker 4: Yeah, what is the talk?
- 33:40Speaker 3: What is all that?
- 33:41Speaker 1: No, that's kind of out.
- 33:42Speaker 5: You can throw all out the window when y'all don't
- 33:44Speaker 5: stop liking each other no more. This is finna be
- 33:46Speaker 5: a rap, that simple, huh. That's you know, when you
- 33:51Speaker 5: walk in the room and you when he walk in
- 33:53Speaker 5: the room, you walk out the room.
- 33:55Speaker 6: Isolation if you stick your.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Head around the corner, seat them in.
- 34:00Speaker 1: The room and you don't go in the room.
- 34:04Speaker 5: If if one of them walking you do this here,
- 34:11Speaker 5: that's all to it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: And let me tell y'all something else to get this
- 34:15Speaker 2: through your head.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Stop getting mad at Jasell because a month after divorce
- 34:20Speaker 5: you saw her in Costa Rica. The divorce is simply
- 34:24Speaker 5: the date that the court system says it's officially over.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Marriages are usually over years before you get to the
- 34:35Speaker 5: park where the court gave you a date.
- 34:38Speaker 2: First of all, you got the file. Then you got
- 34:40Speaker 2: to go through a little separation.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Then you got to go through court date, waiting at
- 34:44Speaker 5: amendmenttioning and filers. Man, it takes a year and a half,
- 34:48Speaker 5: two years. You can't sit around without no life, wait
- 34:51Speaker 5: on that. So you saw what you say?
- 34:54Speaker 2: Tell you what I know?
- 34:58Speaker 5: You surf in there talking about me each center bre
- 35:00Speaker 5: talking about No Dad was quick. That wasn't quick.
- 35:02Speaker 3: It was time.
- 35:04Speaker 13: Well, I can tell you is they wouldn't. They wouldn't
- 35:06Speaker 13: train it in Costa Rica. I can tell it they wouldn't.
- 35:08Speaker 13: They wouldn't.
- 35:09Speaker 4: You don't know that.
- 35:12Speaker 2: In Costa Rica. No, they wouldn't. But who gives it?
- 35:16Speaker 2: Dal would Giselle do?
- 35:18Speaker 14: Right?
- 35:19Speaker 2: I don't.
- 35:21Speaker 1: She was in that relationship for a long time and
- 35:23Speaker 1: now she's out. You know, people have a lot to
- 35:25Speaker 1: say relationship. Yeah, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:33Speaker 1: Michael Jackson's youngest son, Blanket, is suing his grandmother Katherine. Jackson.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Will tell you why right after this your grandmama, dog, Granny, yo, granny.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. All right, So Michael Jackson's
- 35:50Speaker 1: youngest son, Blanket, is suing his grandmother Katherine. Now this
- 35:55Speaker 1: is all according to tm Z. The family's allegedly been
- 35:58Speaker 1: locked in a battle with the executors of Michael's estate,
- 36:02Speaker 1: reportedly over removed to sell half of Michael's catalog for
- 36:05Speaker 1: six hundred million dollars, and now Mss Catherine wants to
- 36:09Speaker 1: use part of the estate's money to fight a court
- 36:12Speaker 1: decision on appeal, a move Blanket does not support. Blanket
- 36:17Speaker 1: believes the appeal isn't going to win in court, and
- 36:20Speaker 1: he wants his inheritance left alone and not drained by
- 36:24Speaker 1: these legal proceedings. That's why he's suing his grandmother because
- 36:28Speaker 1: he's like, she's using his inheritance.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Blanks down, down, I'm gonna take you. Listen to come on, Blanket,
- 36:42Speaker 2: listen to me. No, it's not no, it's not this
- 36:51Speaker 2: hey hey, hey, no, no, No.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Is the daughter saying anything. No, prayer is saying anything.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Pair is prince saying anything? Because they know, and they
- 37:06Speaker 5: the oldest ones they know. Listen to me, y'all. There
- 37:10Speaker 5: is a thing called an irrevocable trust. When your money
- 37:15Speaker 5: is in there, it ain't nothing they can do about it. Now,
- 37:18Speaker 5: Katherine Jackson got plenty money and they know it, and
- 37:24Speaker 5: they know it. She got to say, so you ain't
- 37:28Speaker 5: heard none of them. Jackson's complaining them one fights Amongster Jackson.
- 37:39Speaker 5: They love and honor.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Listen to me, they love and honor Miss Catherine Jackson.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Man.
- 37:46Speaker 5: Y'all people need to sit down and shut up talking
- 37:48Speaker 5: about people. If you don't know, stop talking about people.
- 37:52Speaker 5: Ain't nobody in the whole Jackson family said nothing now here,
- 37:56Speaker 5: come blinking. You cannot see a person who is the
- 38:01Speaker 5: recipient of an irrevocable trust. Listen to the word ire revocable.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Nobody can go against that.
- 38:11Speaker 1: But this is your mother though.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Come on right there, see blank that's the white side.
- 38:18Speaker 5: That's the white side there that's trying to let your
- 38:24Speaker 5: white side get talk.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but I know you're twenty two years old, Blanket, to.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Get my allowance from you, I want all my money.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I'm tired of you would think to suit their grandmother.
- 38:36Speaker 6: Come on, yeah, Blanket sueing quilt.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Come on, black people, don't sue a grandmama. Y'all know
- 38:44Speaker 5: where you gonna go eat.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, We're
- 38:51Speaker 1: gonna check your voicemailed Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve right after this
- 38:59Speaker 1: you're listening morning show. It is time now to check
- 39:04Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, if you
- 39:07Speaker 1: would like to leave a message for Steve, please do.
- 39:10Speaker 1: We would love to hear from you, and you can
- 39:11Speaker 1: hear your call on the air. Maybe Steve, you ready, yes, Yes,
- 39:15Speaker 1: here we go. This is a question about a relationship breakup.
- 39:21Speaker 14: Hey, it's so Harfio is calling to see if you
- 39:25Speaker 14: break up with your fiance.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Is he got your furniture in the house.
- 39:28Speaker 11: Should you get your furniture back or should you.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Just leave it in there with her?
- 39:35Speaker 5: Well, let me say this to you, doog. It depends
- 39:39Speaker 5: on why y'all broke up. It has a lot to
- 39:43Speaker 5: do with calls and effect. Whose fault it was. So
- 39:47Speaker 5: if it was your fault, probably need to leave that
- 39:51Speaker 5: furniture in there. If it was her fault, how you
- 39:57Speaker 5: gonna get in there? See that the question of your furniture,
- 40:03Speaker 5: my furniture, her furniture, it's kind of a little shaky,
- 40:08Speaker 5: so to me, it depends on who calls the breakup.
- 40:12Speaker 2: It wasn't no mutual understanding.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Somebody did something and therefore it's off and just based
- 40:19Speaker 5: on the intensity and your voice and a phone call.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I think it was you. I did something, dog. Can
- 40:28Speaker 2: I get in there and get the furniture?
- 40:30Speaker 3: Now?
- 40:32Speaker 5: See first of all, in there, that ain't your house.
- 40:36Speaker 5: See that problem ain't your house. And it's been clear,
- 40:40Speaker 5: it's been clear that you got put out.
- 40:44Speaker 6: What kind of fund you trying to get back up?
- 40:46Speaker 6: Get out the house?
- 40:47Speaker 5: It's you know that that that flash green? You know
- 40:50Speaker 5: me and always want that flash green and in that
- 40:54Speaker 5: bedroom set them the two things we invest in.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And sleepy.
- 41:04Speaker 1: All right, help you out? Helped you out, all right, Steve. Next,
- 41:09Speaker 1: a young listener named Hannah who's from Indiana needs advice
- 41:12Speaker 1: on when everything seems like it's falling apart.
- 41:16Speaker 14: Hi.
- 41:16Speaker 12: See, my name is Hannah from forty, Indiana, and I
- 41:20Speaker 12: just one of your great advice is about when everything
- 41:24Speaker 12: seems like it's falling apart and it seems like the
- 41:28Speaker 12: lowest once again, I just want your advice on how
- 41:33Speaker 12: you keep a positive monkset and basically trust in the Lord.
- 41:39Speaker 12: Because we all know your story, so I would love
- 41:43Speaker 12: to hear what you have to say.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Thank you well, you sound young, So I'm going to
- 41:49Speaker 5: tell you what I wish I knew back then that
- 41:52Speaker 5: I know now and I got I heard Tom Hanks
- 41:56Speaker 5: say this in an interview and it was so impactful.
- 42:01Speaker 5: This too shall pass. See this little dark moment that
- 42:06Speaker 5: you're going through, this is temporary. All you got to
- 42:10Speaker 5: do is see, here's what people forget a lot, and
- 42:13Speaker 5: as I've often done it myself when we're going through
- 42:16Speaker 5: some stuff, we forget that of all the prior things
- 42:21Speaker 5: we've ever gone through prior to this period, our track
- 42:26Speaker 5: record for surviving those time periods has been one hundred percent.
- 42:32Speaker 2: You have a one hundred survival rate up until this point.
- 42:38Speaker 5: You will get through this, and then you have to
- 42:41Speaker 5: understand that this is the part of it that's just
- 42:44Speaker 5: called life.
- 42:46Speaker 2: You are not the only one.
- 42:48Speaker 5: Everybody has these periods where it gets dark and you
- 42:51Speaker 5: can't see that. You know how people say, you know,
- 42:53Speaker 5: there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I've
- 42:55Speaker 5: been in some tunnels where it wasn't no light. I
- 42:58Speaker 5: just ain't seen now.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Kind of like this boy on zoom right now anyway, and.
- 43:07Speaker 5: You don't and you don't see no light at the
- 43:09Speaker 5: end of the tunnel, and but you have to keep
- 43:13Speaker 5: putting one foot in front of the next because eventually
- 43:16Speaker 5: you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Nobody lives in complete darkness unless you allow the darkness
- 43:25Speaker 5: to define not only where you at, but it's your future.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Your darkness you are in today is not your future
- 43:32Speaker 5: of tomorrow. All you gotta do is keep waking up.
- 43:35Speaker 5: You're gonna look up and the sun gonna shine again.
- 43:38Speaker 5: This too shall pass. Keep your faith in God, stay prayerful,
- 43:42Speaker 5: and know you ain't the only one.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Okay, that's it, all.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Right, all right, thank you for the call, Hannah. Coming
- 43:50Speaker 1: up next, we'll hear from the nephew again with today's
- 43:53Speaker 1: brank phone call. Right after this you're listening morning show
- 44:00Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:02Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: the subject is why is my mom sharing my daddy?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 44:11Speaker 1: We'll find out what that's all about. Yeah, shut the
- 44:15Speaker 1: room down on that one. Why is my mom sharing
- 44:19Speaker 1: my daddy? We'll find out in just a few because
- 44:22Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. Nephew,
- 44:28Speaker 1: what do you have for us?
- 44:29Speaker 4: Uh?
- 44:30Speaker 2: You know what I got? I got stupid and ignorance.

- 46:19Speaker 8: So you're the owner of the damn pizza place.
- 46:21Speaker 11: Yeah, I owned the damn pizza place. And on these

- 53:43Speaker 1: never know, it could be yours.
- 53:45Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight
- 53:47Speaker 2: we go. Had it ful you Here it e Strawberry Letter, Thank.
- 53:50Speaker 1: You, nephew. Subject why is my mom sharing my daddy?
- 53:54Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm thirty three years old and I
- 53:57Speaker 1: moved back to my hometown two months ago. My dad
- 54:00Speaker 1: is ill and my mother is doing the best she
- 54:03Speaker 1: can to take care of him, at least that's what
- 54:06Speaker 1: she told me. I kicked right in and started taking
- 54:09Speaker 1: Daddy to the doctor and to get his medication. When
- 54:11Speaker 1: I couldn't do it because of work, Daddy had another
- 54:14Speaker 1: woman taking him, and I thought she was some kind
- 54:16Speaker 1: of nurse or assistant that his insurance provided. My Mom
- 54:20Speaker 1: said it was just a lady that my dad knows well.
- 54:24Speaker 1: One day, Dad called me and asked me could I
- 54:26Speaker 1: drop him off at a restaurant and he would get
- 54:29Speaker 1: a ride home. I took him and walked him inside.
- 54:32Speaker 1: He met with the lady that I thought was his
- 54:35Speaker 1: home health nurse. He said it was her birthday, so
- 54:38Speaker 1: I told her Happy birthday. I called Mama and asked
- 54:42Speaker 1: if she was going to join them. I didn't care
- 54:44Speaker 1: if I was being messy by alerting my mom that
- 54:47Speaker 1: my dad was having dinner with the woman. Mama said
- 54:50Speaker 1: it's a special occasion for her, so she was allowing
- 54:53Speaker 1: my dad to spend some time with her alone. I
- 54:57Speaker 1: went by my mom and dad's house to wait for
- 54:59Speaker 1: Dad with her. He got home three hours later and
- 55:02Speaker 1: he had a milkshake. He said they went for a
- 55:04Speaker 1: birthday treat. My Mom had already gone to bed, so
- 55:07Speaker 1: I asked him if the woman is a nurse or
- 55:09Speaker 1: his girlfriend. He said she's a little bit of both,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he said to talk to my mom about it.
- 55:14Speaker 1: The next morning, Mama told me that she lets dad
- 55:18Speaker 1: entertain himself in that way because he's sick. My dad
- 55:21Speaker 1: isn't terminally ill, So why is my mom allowing this?
- 55:25Speaker 1: She seems so sad about it. Should I confront my
- 55:28Speaker 1: daddy about cheating on my mom? Look, these are your parents,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and you can ask them. It's nothing wrong with that.
- 55:37Speaker 1: But you talk to them already, and they both gave
- 55:40Speaker 1: you their answers. The woman is a nurse and a
- 55:43Speaker 1: girlfriend to your dad, and your mom lets him see
- 55:47Speaker 1: her because he's sick, And as weird as it sounds,
- 55:50Speaker 1: that's what they told you. Obviously, your mom and dad
- 55:53Speaker 1: have some sort of crazy arrangement going on here. Your
- 55:56Speaker 1: dad also told you to ask your mom, which meant
- 56:00Speaker 1: that your mom is well aware of what's going on
- 56:02Speaker 1: in this situation. This is not a secret between them.
- 56:05Speaker 1: You can ask her if this is making her sad,
- 56:08Speaker 1: why is she allowing your dad to see this other woman?
- 56:11Speaker 3: But again, she.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Told you because he's sick. She knows what he's doing.
- 56:16Speaker 1: She didn't even stay up and wait for him to
- 56:17Speaker 1: get back. She was in bed before he got home
- 56:20Speaker 1: from his date with the other woman. So is she
- 56:22Speaker 1: really sad about it like you say? And your dad
- 56:27Speaker 1: might not be that sick either, not if he has
- 56:29Speaker 1: the energy to have a wife and a side chick.
- 56:32Speaker 1: You said, he's not terminally ill, so this just must
- 56:35Speaker 1: be something they've decided to do. I know you care
- 56:38Speaker 1: about what's going on with your parents, but as strange
- 56:41Speaker 1: as it is, it's their business. And don't be shocked
- 56:43Speaker 1: if you do confront them that they may or may
- 56:46Speaker 1: not give you what you want.
- 56:48Speaker 5: But yeah, this is crazy, Steve, ain't no secrets. Why
- 56:52Speaker 5: is my mom shared my daddy? Well, you Shaddy, So
- 57:01Speaker 5: let's just get into it. You thirty three, You to
- 57:05Speaker 5: move back to your hometown a couple months ago. Your
- 57:10Speaker 5: dad is ill. Now, y'all ain't saying what he got,
- 57:13Speaker 5: So I just come up with something on my own.
- 57:16Speaker 5: Lad On, my mother's doing the best she can to
- 57:21Speaker 5: take care of him, at least that's what she's saying.
- 57:24Speaker 5: So you jumped in and helped out taking Daddy to
- 57:27Speaker 5: the doctor to get his medicine. And when I couldn't
- 57:30Speaker 5: do it because of work. Daddy had another woman taking him,
- 57:35Speaker 5: and I thought she was some kind of nurse or
- 57:37Speaker 5: assistant that his insurance provided. Well, it ain't that the
- 57:43Speaker 5: nice cove up he got, y'all thinking or you thinking
- 57:48Speaker 5: it's potentially a nurse.
- 57:50Speaker 2: That the insurance has provided.
- 57:53Speaker 5: My mom said it was just a lady that my
- 57:56Speaker 5: daddy know, which means you're the other thing is aware
- 58:00Speaker 5: of this. Well, one day Daddy called me in to
- 58:04Speaker 5: ask if I could drop him off at a restaurant
- 58:07Speaker 5: and he would get a ride home. Now, I'm assuming
- 58:13Speaker 5: since you came into town and you done jumped in
- 58:15Speaker 5: the kick in to take and get his medicine, take
- 58:17Speaker 5: him to the doctor, that you do it when your
- 58:20Speaker 5: mama came. I'm assuming maybe your mama is at work
- 58:25Speaker 5: with the car. See, because I thank your daddy and
- 58:30Speaker 5: mama got a car. But I think mama got the car.
- 58:34Speaker 5: She's overwhelmed with going to work and taking him places.
- 58:37Speaker 5: So now you done jumped in and kicked in. So
- 58:40Speaker 5: this one day he asked you if you could call
- 58:42Speaker 5: you and ask you if you drop him off at
- 58:44Speaker 5: a restaurant, he'll get a ride home. This is hustling
- 58:50Speaker 5: too hard for me. All he getting to ride home,
- 58:54Speaker 5: got a lift apple huber app. But he fixed all
- 58:58Speaker 5: that because he got this woman. So I took him
- 59:02Speaker 5: and walked him inside. He didn't ask you for that.
- 59:07Speaker 5: All he did was so how sick is he? Where
- 59:10Speaker 5: you got to walk him inside? But you took your
- 59:13Speaker 5: nosey ass in that to walk him inside this restaurant
- 59:16Speaker 5: because you wanted to know what was going on.
- 59:20Speaker 2: He met with the lady that I thought was his
- 59:22Speaker 2: home health care.
- 59:23Speaker 7: And she is.
- 59:26Speaker 2: That's what she is.
- 59:28Speaker 5: She is the home healthcare provided. Yes, he said it
- 59:37Speaker 5: was her birthday, so I told her happy birthday. Oh oh,
- 59:41Speaker 5: now to mama, No, did daddy know? Now you done
- 59:44Speaker 5: join the in talking about happy birthday? So now yo,
- 59:47Speaker 5: you involved too now cause you at the birthday party.
- 59:53Speaker 5: I called Mama and asked if she was gonna join him.
- 59:56Speaker 5: And I don't care if I was being messy by
- 59:58Speaker 5: a learning my mom to my day Dad was having
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: dinner with the woman. When we come back, I'm gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: tell you the rest of them, and it ain't gonna
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: be that shocking.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: why is my mom sharing my daddy? Right after this,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you're listening Morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter, the subject why is my mom
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: sharing my daddy?
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: First of all, this ain't your business, but since you
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: want to make it yours, it's time for you to
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: have a grown folk.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Come to Jesus. Now, your daddy's sick, you to move
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: back home. You started helping out, taking it to the doctor,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: getting his medicine.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: Obviously, your mama is still working, or and your mama
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: and they got one car, and your mama stay in
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: the car. So now when she can't do it, you
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: got to do it. And then sometimes you got to
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: go to work yourself. And so then he had another
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: lady come back. You thought this lady was the home
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: care health provider. The mama know about the lady. That
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: dad didn't know about the lady, And now you know
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: about the lady. So his mama was at work and
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: couldn't take him somewhere. So your daddy called you and
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: asked you if you could drop him off at a
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: restaurant and he would get a ride home.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Well, your little nose the ass. Take him down to
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: the restaurant. You walk inside.
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: Now if he is he is, I don't know what
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: his sickness is, but he didn't need walking inside. But
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: you took it in there. And now the lady was
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: there you thought was the nurse. So then he said
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: that it was her birthday, so I told her happy birthday.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: So now you done joined. Then you participating in it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: The mama know he knows it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: So then you went home with your little messy self
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: and called Mama and asked if she was gonna join him.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I didn't care if I was being messy by alerting
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: my mom that my dad was having dinner with the woman.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Mama said it was.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: A special occasion for her, so she was allowing my
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: dad to spend some time with her alone. I be, damn,
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: I have got to get me a sickness. What work off, Junior?
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: This got to be right in your ass, boy, it's
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: finna be. This is one glorious occasion. She told you
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: that it's a special occasion, so she was allowing my
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: dad spend some time with her.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: Loan.
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: I went by mom and Dad's house to wait for
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: my daddy with her He got home some three hours later,
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: and he had a milkshake. He said, they went for
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: a birthday treat. I know that's right, And the milkshake
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: was just to cover who's sure, guy hot in here,
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: swain by steak and shake. Girl, let me get that
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: chocolate shirt going. So he walked in the house, swirled
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: in the cup. They went by for a birthday treat.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Now they got to be old. So now Ruby, you
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: sitting in the house with Ruby? He done just left
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Estale down at the motor end and swinging by the
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: steak and shape.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Now you, Joscelyn, you sitting in the house with Ruby
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: and a staler. Just tighten your.
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Daddy up with a special birthday treat. And he come
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: back in with a milkshake to cover for it. Three hours,
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: there's plenty of time. And then so I asked him
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: if the woman is a nurse or his girlfriend. He
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: said she a little bit of both, and he said,
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: go talk to your mama about it. So now the
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: next morning, Mama told me that she lets dad entertain
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: himself in that way because he's sick.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: We got two sick ass dudes on the show right here.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: We got one that's clear and we got one that's survived.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: So now fellas see, y'all ain't been using y'all illnesses
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: the right way. Y'all could have had you an in
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: home nurse care provider. Boy, boy, boy, Now, Tommy, I
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: know your wife. You ain't gonna be able to sell
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: that one. So you sit your ass down to be quiet. Junior,
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: you show better not say nothing, so y'all can take
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: y'allself out of the little we sick two categories.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: It's too late for me. I know better than this.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: Right here, my dad isn't terminally ill. So why is
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: my mom allowing this? She seems so sad about it.
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: Should I confront my daddy about cheating? No, Mama, what
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: are you gonna confront him?
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: For?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Everybody know.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: Your mama said, because your daddy is sick, she allows this. Now,
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: your daddy is not terminally ill.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: So what do your daddy? Well, let's talk about it. Oh, okay,
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: do your daddy have diabetes?
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: He got sugar. People with sugar need a lot of
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: other sugar. So maybe maybe it's that right there, Maybe
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: your daddy got a like a heart murmur. Maybe your
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: daddy uh oh, here we go. Maybe your daddy been
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: with your mama so long that your mama that got
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: tired of your daddy and she don't service your daddy
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: no more. And because he's sick, she really don't feel
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: like it. So she done give him permission go get
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: service where he won't to. I was like, mm, because
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: I done lost my desire for it. So I told
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: your daddy. And then your daddy came in here and
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: told me whatever time he got left, he won't to
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: enjoy hisself. So your daddy got a little girlfriend, and
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: I ain't going nowhere, but I ain't servicing him as
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: she do. All right, Steve, you can confront your daddy
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: if you want to, But your daddy told you going
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: in and ask your mama and your post.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: He told you she allowed post your comments on Today's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter at Steve HARVEFM on Instagram and Facebook, and

- 1:06:40Speaker 1: in forty six minutes after the hour, we got Junior
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: and Sports Talk right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: The federal agents descended on Diddy's properties on multiple coasts.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: On Monday, a home in Los Angeles and as Miami
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: residents were both rated by Homeland Security investigators, who confirmed
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: that law enforcement actions were taken as quote part of
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: an ongoing investigation. The raids are believed to be connected
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to sex trafficking allegations made against Ditty and his associates
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: by multiple individuals. One Los Angeles news station captured aerial
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: shots of what appeared to be Ditty's two sons, Justin
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: and King Colms, handcuffed outside the home. Photographers in Miami
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: captured photos of armed agents arriving by land and boat
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: with guns drawn, ready to execute the search warrant. Ditty's
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: private jet has also been tracked to antigue with the Caribbean.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Cassie's lawyers meanwhile released a statement saying, quote, we will
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: who have violated the law. Hopefully this is the beginning
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: of a process that will hold mister Colmes responsible for
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: his depraved conduct. Fifty cent also posted his reaction on
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: ig as he captured sugar Honey iced tea, just got
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the Feds and all the cribs. They got the kids
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: in cuffs and another he wrote Now, it's not Ditti's
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: didn't do it. It's Diddies done. They don't come like
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: that unless they got a case.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Any time though government agencies, FBI, ATF Homeland Securities. They
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: got them letters on the back of their jackie and
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: that jacket blue. It's serious. There are no charges right.
- 1:08:29Speaker 15: Now, Okay, gathering, you know, but they're not guessing, you're saying,
- 1:08:35Speaker 15: they're not going on a hunch. They have some concrete
- 1:08:38Speaker 15: evidence that made them want to raid his homes like that, right.
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: When they send that many people guns they spend that
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: kind of money on.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: They serious.
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: Now Diddy's plane being in antiquity, they don't They didn't
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: know if he was on it or not yet, right,
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: but it doesn't matter at this point. The only thing
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: that can be happening right now to me is Diddy's
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: lawyers got to be talking to them right now.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Find out where we're going with this. What's the basis
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: of the warrant?
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: What?
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Uh what?
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: What are what are they looking for? What can they substantiate?
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: And I mean, I mean, what's the end game? Because
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: at one point in time somebody got to go down
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: and talk and so you know, they can arrange for
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: for Diddy to come in and talk voluntarily. Yeah, but
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: right now, I mean all, I mean, you know they there,
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: So it's it's it's really really serious.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Yes, ongoing. You're right, it's an ongoing investigation. And we'll
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: keep you posted.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Telly up.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, stee,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: This is from Lisa on Steve Harvey FM. She needs
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: some advice, she says. My coworker, who I've I worked
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: with for two years, has always been really nice to me,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and I thought he might have a crush on me.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: My last boyfriend and I broke up a couple of
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: months ago, and I've been kind of kind of flirting
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: with my coworker, dropping little hints that i'd be open
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to asking to him asking me out. But he doesn't
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: seem to be taking the hint. Should I take it
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: as a sign that he's just nice and not really interested,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: or should I be blunt with him and make the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: first move.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: Well, you can go and be blunt, but you might
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: get blunt back. I remember this a new day now,
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: so go ahead and be blunt. He might be blunt too.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Oh gosh, if she might ask me, well, you know.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: The rejection, you know, it could be you know, pronoun
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: could be anything. You never know, got to be aware
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: of its twenty fifth night. Yeah, all you.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Because someone's nice to you doesn't mean they're interested in
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: that way.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Well, not no more, not no more. He used to,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: but not no more, not no more, Not in twenty twenty. Folks.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: There's too much going on out here. You just never know.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: All right, So she shouldn't, you're saying. If she does,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I still go ahead.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: But get ready, though, be prepared your feelings together.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you have, you know, you know, you know,
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: make sure you're mentally capable of handling what you're fit
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: to hear.

- 1:12:11Speaker 1: got engaged. I know we didn't love one another, but
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: for some reason, I'm having a really hard time accepting
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: that he's getting married after us only having stopped sleeping
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: together a few months ago. Maybe I felt more for
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: him than I wanted to admit. Even though we weren't dating,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: it was the best relationship I've had in a few years.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Is it normal to feel jealous over a lost hook
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: up even though it was never going anywhere? Do I
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: just need to get back out there and start dating
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: to help get over this feeling?
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Wow?

- 1:13:30Speaker 1: start dating.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: You don't need to get back out there because you stupid.

- 1:19:44Speaker 16: Hey, it's me again, Standard. Oh my god.
- 1:19:48Speaker 14: I know you're probably tilling me saying this, mister Steve Hagges,
- 1:19:52Speaker 14: But when I say, you were born for this, you
- 1:19:55Speaker 14: were born just for this, this beautiful.
- 1:20:00Speaker 16: Blue, black, purple wave soup man, you rocket with that shirt,
- 1:20:07Speaker 16: in that tie and a beautiful China shoes.
- 1:20:10Speaker 14: Oh my god. You know I becan't wait for you
- 1:20:14Speaker 14: to come out. I can't wait for you to come
- 1:20:16Speaker 14: out ran that corner so I can see what color
- 1:20:18Speaker 14: suit you got on. When I say, you've got men
- 1:20:22Speaker 14: looking at you, every race, every color, they just want
- 1:20:26Speaker 14: to wear they suit like you wear yours. I am
- 1:20:30Speaker 14: so proud of you, and you done made me laugh
- 1:20:33Speaker 14: ever since I turned to the family few you make
- 1:20:35Speaker 14: me laugh so hard. Okay, keep on being blessed in
- 1:20:38Speaker 14: Jesus name, Thank you, bye bye.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Thank you. Right, sure, don't need to keep being blessed
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: in Jesus.
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: That junior one she said, Oh, Steve Harves, I know me.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: She din call here multiple time looking for you.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Yeah, all the way down.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: No clue what she talked about. That's nothing. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: you know it is such a blessing, man. I just
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: you know, I did.
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: I did a period, man, while I was asking God
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: for so much, and I was getting a little frustrated
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: because it wasn't happening when I wanted it to, and
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: I couldn't figure out why, because I had done everything
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: I was supposed to. But there was a lesson in
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: it for me to learn, because what had happened was
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: I kept asking him for this, and I kept going, Lord, why,
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: I mean, I've done everything you've asked me to do.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Why why?
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: And then he said, go home. So he arranged it
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: where the deal didn't happen, and he sent me home
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: and I'm homegoing. Man, these deals didn't happen. I did
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: everything I was supposed to do. Blah blah blah blah,
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: blah blah blah. He said, yeah, but you forgot though
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: in your quest for asking me for so much, you
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: forgot what all I've done for you. You keep forgetting that, man,
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: and I know you want more. And you got more
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: dreams and aspirations because the Bible says a man without
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: a dream or visions your parents I got.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: I told you to have dreams and vision. But you
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: should also be grateful. See you forget.
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: Sometimes when you get so focused on what you don't have,
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: you lose focus of what you do have. And when
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: you lose focus of what you do have, you lose
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: the major component to success. It's gratitude, because why would
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: God give you more empower on some more when you're
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: not great for what you already have. I mean, I've
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: used this analogy a hundred times. It's one of your neighbors.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: Let's say people come by, Remember remember peoples to come
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: out and boll a couple of sugar? Can I get
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: a cup of sugar from? And you gave them a
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: cup of sugar, And then next week they came and
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: got another cup of sugar. Man, I'm out of sugar again.
- 1:23:17Speaker 5: Can you give me another cup of sugar? And you
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: give them another cup of sugar, and they take sugar,
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: they just walk away. How many times could that person
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: come to you and ask for a cup of sugar
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: without you checking them and going, hey, you know what, man,
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: you keep coming by here asking me for a couple
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: of sugar. You don't ever say thank you. Huh, you
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: don't ever say thank you?
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: What you mean?
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: Now?
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: I keep giving you a cup of sugar and you
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: don't ever say thank you? Oh man, you tripping? Well,
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: I tell you what, since I'm tripping, don't come by
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: here and ask for no more sugar.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: I'll show you. Well.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: That's the human way of dealing with it. But let's
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: think about God for a second. Let's think about all
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: the stuff he does for you on a daily basis
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: that he don't get thanked for. How many times has
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: God awakened you and you didn't say thank you? You
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: know how many breaths you take during the course of
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: a day. Do you realize, man, that God allows you
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: to take these breaths every step you take. There are
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: people who are immobile, man. There are people who need
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: ventilators to breathe. There are people who need hearing aids.
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: There are people who need van lifts just to get
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: up in the car and get transported somewhere. There are
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: people man on respirators. There are people man who need
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: hover rounds. There are people using walkers, There are people
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: on crutches. There are people who can't move at all.
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: But yet instilled these things that you take for granted,
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: you never say thank you for. And I had to
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: catch myself. I said, wow, So what he did was
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: he made me come home and look around and look
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: at all He's done for me. Now, however, meager your
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: place of residence may be, have you realized that it's yours?
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: That there is a joy that you get being able
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: to say, no matter how it's going for you out there,
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: I'm going home.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: I'm getting ready to go home.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: And somehow sticking your key in that door and shutting
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: it and locking it back gives you a sense of security.
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: I used to didn't have that. That was a period
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: in my life where I couldn't say I'm going home.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: I just had to go get in that car. Man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: when you lose that, that's something special. So I got
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: to thinking about my life and I realized what all
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: God had done for me, and I got overjoyed with
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: all he'd done for me, to the point where I
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: quit asking for something. I was just so busy thinking him,
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: and then lo and behold, out of nowhere, he gave
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: it to me because I had learned the lesson. So
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: instead of getting taught the lesson, why don't we all
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: just learn the lesson be grateful today because God has
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: done a lot for you.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: He really really has. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:26:13Speaker 5: That's it, God, William, We'll see you all tomorrow. Hey,
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: y'all talk to God today. He'd absolutely love to hear
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: from you.
