- 2:08Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yoh man. God is in the blessing business all day
- 2:17Speaker 1: every day. God got hundreds of millions of blessings that
- 2:22Speaker 1: he passes out every day. All I want to do
- 2:27Speaker 1: is be the recipient that I'm the recipient of what
- 2:31Speaker 1: He has for me. That's all I want. I just
- 2:35Speaker 1: want God's favor, and I go. I want God's blessings.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know, of course I need his mercy and his grace,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but I just want his blessings and his favor. I want.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I want that in my life because it does things
- 2:53Speaker 1: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And I've been a recipient of many of those, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 3:06Speaker 1: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 3:09Speaker 1: a blessed. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 3:13Speaker 1: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 3:17Speaker 1: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 3:19Speaker 1: because this is the part that messes people up a
- 3:21Speaker 1: great deal. What happens when you get off track? What
- 3:26Speaker 1: is that? What does that mean? When you get off track? See,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I've been off track. I can't tell you how many times,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and it happens in so many aspects of your life.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But what is it that makes getting off track so
- 3:44Speaker 1: debilitating to some people? You know, there are some people
- 3:47Speaker 1: who want stay off track, They off course, they off
- 3:51Speaker 1: the dream, they own to something else. And you cannot
- 3:54Speaker 1: allow the fact that you've gotten off track to stop
- 3:59Speaker 1: you can. I tell you something. Everybody gets off track.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Nobody does a diet exactly, meal per meal, calorie by
- 4:12Speaker 1: calorie exactly. Everybody makes mistakes. But somehow, that are people
- 4:19Speaker 1: who have made a success of themselves. That are people
- 4:23Speaker 1: who are living their life's dreams. That are people who
- 4:29Speaker 1: lose weight in spite of getting off track. See what
- 4:33Speaker 1: happens when you get off track. Here's the simple thing
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do. The simple thing is just to get back
- 4:39Speaker 1: on track. Now that that's but that's easier said than done,
- 4:42Speaker 1: ain't it, Steve Yeah, Because see people, when you get
- 4:46Speaker 1: off track. Here's some of the things that happen. See
- 4:49Speaker 1: you get the here come to they sayers, some of
- 4:53Speaker 1: them from the outside, some of them internally. Here's what
- 4:57Speaker 1: gets said when you get off track. See I told you,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I told you. You know you you start hearing that
- 5:09Speaker 1: it's not for you. Okay, this is all just because
- 5:15Speaker 1: you got off track. It's not for you. Okay. Here's
- 5:19Speaker 1: another one. It ain't meant to be. You can hear it,
- 5:23Speaker 1: or you could said, well, I guess it's just not
- 5:26Speaker 1: meant to be. These are all things that people say
- 5:30Speaker 1: to themselves once they get off track. You can't do it, well,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I don't guess I can do it. Here's another one.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I thought you said that you was gonna make it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You know, I was showed hoping I could have made it.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It comes external or internal. But these are just some
- 5:51Speaker 1: of the things that's that I thought you said you
- 5:54Speaker 1: was gonna lose weight. Well, you know I had tried
- 5:58Speaker 1: to lose some weight. I'm just going down the list
- 6:02Speaker 1: of some of the things that goes through a person's
- 6:05Speaker 1: mind when they get off track. But let me ask
- 6:08Speaker 1: you a question, though, Who made the rule that when
- 6:13Speaker 1: you get off track you can't get back on? Who
- 6:18Speaker 1: made that rule? Where has that written that once you
- 6:21Speaker 1: get off track you can't get back on? See, because
- 6:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule.
- 6:29Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. See,
- 6:35Speaker 1: everybody in pursuit of a dream, a goal, and aspiration
- 6:40Speaker 1: or a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're going to get derailed. They are going to be
- 6:47Speaker 1: days where you're not going to get it right. That
- 6:50Speaker 1: are going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 6:52Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 6:55Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 6:59Speaker 1: tell you something. Every successful person that I know, ever met,
- 7:02Speaker 1: talked to, set out and chopped it up with, have
- 7:05Speaker 1: shared one thing in common. We all get off track.
- 7:10Speaker 1: We all get it wrong along the way. I don't
- 7:13Speaker 1: care who the person is. The president got it wrong
- 7:16Speaker 1: along the way. Your pastor got it wrong along the way.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Qui Director Gui got it wrong along the way. The
- 7:25Speaker 1: principle at your school got it wrong. Along the way.
- 7:28Speaker 1: The valor victoria of your class got it wrong. Along
- 7:32Speaker 1: the way. The star of the team got it wrong
- 7:37Speaker 1: along the way. They've all been off track. Your boss
- 7:42Speaker 1: down at your job, he got it wrong along the way.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Your immediate supervisor got it wrong along the way. Everybody
- 7:52Speaker 1: I know that has any measure of success in every
- 7:56Speaker 1: level that you call success, however you want to label it,
- 7:59Speaker 1: has got out and off track. As a matter of fact,
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's impossible. Listen to me, it is impossible not to
- 8:10Speaker 1: get off track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that
- 8:22Speaker 1: they got through life unscathed, that they made it because
- 8:25Speaker 1: they was just so determined and I would let nothing
- 8:28Speaker 1: turn me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing
- 8:31Speaker 1: turn you back because you hear all but you thought
- 8:34Speaker 1: about it. Oh, you thought about it on days when
- 8:38Speaker 1: you was off track. But see, people don't like to
- 8:40Speaker 1: tell the whole story. They just want you to think
- 8:43Speaker 1: as much as you can about them. So when they
- 8:46Speaker 1: tell you their story, they leave out the stuff alone,
- 8:50Speaker 1: the way it was just hard work and determination that
- 8:52Speaker 1: got me here. No it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It
- 8:56Speaker 1: was the fact that you got off track and the
- 8:58Speaker 1: grace and mercy of God allowed you to get back on.
- 9:02Speaker 1: His forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you
- 9:05Speaker 1: would not believe what some of the people have done.
- 9:08Speaker 1: So when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers
- 9:12Speaker 1: outside and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell
- 9:16Speaker 1: you something, the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 9:21Speaker 1: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 9:24Speaker 1: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 9:26Speaker 1: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, but I
- 9:31Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 9:35Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 9:38Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 9:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 9:48Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, Because,
- 9:51Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 9:53Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Stop Stop, being yourself from getting it right. So what
- 10:04Speaker 1: you started to diet at the beginning of the year,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and you already off start another one, start over, try
- 10:12Speaker 1: it again, don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying,
- 10:16Speaker 1: you can't make it. But if you never give up
- 10:19Speaker 1: the effort, if you never give up and say it's over,
- 10:22Speaker 1: it ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over
- 10:25Speaker 1: to the fat ladies, saying I never invite her. She's
- 10:29Speaker 1: not invited. It ain't over, to the fat ladies, saying
- 10:34Speaker 1: I don't know where the fat ladies stay. I am
- 10:37Speaker 1: not sending her an invitation to none of my events.
- 10:40Speaker 1: She's not welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple
- 10:44Speaker 1: of times. How come I never get invited? Because you're
- 10:47Speaker 1: gonna start saying it and I ain't got time for that.
- 10:51Speaker 1: All right, stop inviting the fat lady to all your events.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Thank you, you're listening. Show ladies and gentlemen, let me
- 11:04Speaker 1: have your attention. Please. This is to be a special show.
- 11:07Speaker 1: This is a show where Steve Harvey flies by the
- 11:11Speaker 1: seat of his pants. Were short handed today, and that
- 11:15Speaker 1: just gets me all the opportunity I need. Be as
- 11:18Speaker 1: ignorant as I mean is then that's Finn pop off today.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I ain't gonna what of all call and telling me
- 11:24Speaker 1: what to say, Tommy jumping all the day and Jay
- 11:26Speaker 1: out call, ain't here, Tommy ain't here, Jay ain't here.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Ain't nobody sitting over here to me, Julior, Shirley, watch
- 11:33Speaker 1: this here, Hey Shirley, all right? No, you know I'm
- 11:37Speaker 1: not gonna stand for all of your foolish well you
- 11:40Speaker 1: know I'm not finished. I'm not finished. I'm not finished.
- 11:45Speaker 1: But embarrassed me today, make me ashamed? Surely, I give
- 11:51Speaker 1: you my word. I give you if you got two
- 11:53Speaker 1: subjects for me to talk about. I promise you I'm
- 11:57Speaker 1: gonna humiliate you today. And I gotta a little bit
- 12:00Speaker 1: of help or humiliate me. Just embarrassed, make me embarrassed
- 12:07Speaker 1: that I am. Julie, Yes, sir, morning up, I can't wait.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I know who do you go? Do? Yea? And no cusin?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh what we do? Have rules? All right? And you
- 12:26Speaker 1: know better? No? No, how about a no cuss day? Steve?
- 12:32Speaker 1: Remember that? Remember when you try to do that? That
- 12:34Speaker 1: last about what one break? Are you trying to do? What?
- 12:38Speaker 1: You didn't know that? Oh that was before you joined us. Junior.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Remember that day stay, Yeah, he was so miserable. He
- 12:47Speaker 1: almost started crying because I felt so locked up. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: contained pain. Say what you really feel fenced in? No custing, Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I never had. I just thought I'd just go for it,
- 13:07Speaker 1: shoot for it. You never know. Yeah, Tommy and Carl
- 13:10Speaker 1: are out today. They will be back tomorrow. And of
- 13:13Speaker 1: course Tommy's out on a short leave. He aly. He
- 13:21Speaker 1: needed a little bit of a break. Yeah. Yeah. So
- 13:28Speaker 1: how is your day to day, Steve. You have a
- 13:30Speaker 1: good day. Well, it hasn't even started yet. Huh. Well, no,
- 13:33Speaker 1: it ain't start. How do you think it's going to be. Oh,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I expect great things to happen. Yeah, that's out of doubt.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I expect really, really great things that happened. I did
- 13:42Speaker 1: my morning meditation this morning. Huh oh, don't forget you'all
- 13:46Speaker 1: Psalms five and three, very very helpful. It's just a
- 13:50Speaker 1: great way for me to start my day. I'm just
- 13:52Speaker 1: suggesting it to you. Don't have to do it. You know,
- 13:56Speaker 1: people normally take your advice, Steve, sometimes they do. You know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm surprised how many people do am I Am I
- 14:03Speaker 1: going to regret ever asking you to do this well
- 14:07Speaker 1: when you normally ask me, have I will let you down?
- 14:09Speaker 1: You have? You have never let me down. You have
- 14:12Speaker 1: never let me down. I do that on this next
- 14:15Speaker 1: break then, Okay, okay, but before we get there, let
- 14:18Speaker 1: me just say Psalm five three before we get to
- 14:20Speaker 1: the ignorance, since you brought it up for the next
- 14:25Speaker 1: break though in the morning, Lord you hear my voice
- 14:28Speaker 1: in the morning, I lay my request before you and
- 14:31Speaker 1: wait expectedly. Okay, expect, thank you. All right, all right,

- 29:48Speaker 1: of Sussex. They have welcomed their first child, and ladies
- 29:52Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it is a boy. The new baby is
- 29:55Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth's eight great grandchild and the seventh in law
- 30:00Speaker 1: into the British throne. The royal baby boy was born
- 30:03Speaker 1: at five twenty six am Monday morning, weighing in at
- 30:07Speaker 1: seven pounds and three ounces. I ain't getting none of that.
- 30:11Speaker 1: When I was born the Royal baby boys here, my
- 30:14Speaker 1: daddy went this big live pauns. He didn't like set
- 30:18Speaker 1: up in here, man, no good hell will. We weren't
- 30:20Speaker 1: trying to have more damn kids. Oh yeah, because you're
- 30:24Speaker 1: the baby of how many brothers and sisters? I wish
- 30:27Speaker 1: five of us, but was five? Yeah. It don't make
- 30:30Speaker 1: no sense, don't man. So no, I I ain't getting ne
- 30:33Speaker 1: of his head. I'm not gonna sit here and talk
- 30:34Speaker 1: about day baby all morning all either Harry yesterday. How
- 30:41Speaker 1: any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But
- 30:44Speaker 1: we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the
- 30:47Speaker 1: love and support from everyone out there. It's been amazing.
- 30:51Speaker 1: The new Royal parents will likely share the name of
- 30:53Speaker 1: their baby boy tomorrow. That would be Wednesday. Of course.
- 30:57Speaker 1: When name, it ain't gonna be like no hood that Dante,
- 31:07Speaker 1: Jack Quiz, none of that. Peter we'll be looking for
- 31:13Speaker 1: or George or you know, Thomas William, James Henry, anybody
- 31:20Speaker 1: Henry Henry is going to be big Steve. Yeah. Well anyway,
- 31:26Speaker 1: oh yeah, like king more syllable. Well, anyway, they're going
- 31:34Speaker 1: to probably name the baby tomorrow or make their reficial name.
- 31:39Speaker 1: All right, So guys, Yesterday, House Democrats moved closer to
- 31:43Speaker 1: holding Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress. A
- 31:48Speaker 1: second possible confrontation looms as Democrats discuss a possible contempt
- 31:53Speaker 1: citation for Donald McGann, President Trump's one time lawyer. According
- 31:58Speaker 1: to multiple Democratic official, the former White House counsel, a
- 32:01Speaker 1: major figure and special counsel Robert S. Muller's investigation into
- 32:06Speaker 1: whether Trump obstructed justice faces a Tuesday debtline, which is
- 32:10Speaker 1: what today to turn over thirty six types of documents
- 32:15Speaker 1: subpoena by the House Judiciary Committee, most relating to Mueller's
- 32:19Speaker 1: nearly two year probe of Russian interference sixteen election. Yeah. Now,
- 32:25Speaker 1: they might be able to do something to bar because
- 32:29Speaker 1: he did lie on the stand. But all is trying
- 32:32Speaker 1: to get Trump's tax from He's not gonna do it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: They get it, He's not. I mean, if he hasn't done,
- 32:41Speaker 1: he's the least of our worries. This country is allowing
- 32:46Speaker 1: too much to go unchecked. That if it were if
- 32:49Speaker 1: Barack Obama had done any of us any of this, yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 1: oh my god, any of baged yeah, any of this
- 32:59Speaker 1: any But they said up and they make concessions for
- 33:02Speaker 1: this guy, excuses allotment and the morality in the White House.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's about as bad as I've ever seen it. To me,
- 33:10Speaker 1: this is worse than Nixon. At least Nixon lied about
- 33:15Speaker 1: Watergate what it was, and he refined, Yeah. Yeah, but
- 33:19Speaker 1: this dude here, man, that ain't what he doing. He
- 33:21Speaker 1: doing way more every everybody he bought into the White
- 33:23Speaker 1: House in jail. Michael Cohen went in yesterday. Yesterday he
- 33:27Speaker 1: started a three year sentence. Huh yeah, all right, Well,
- 33:32Speaker 1: let's get to the national news, Steve. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:35Speaker 1: miss Anne Tripp, Thanks Steve. Good morning everybody out there.
- 33:40Speaker 1: This is a troop with the news. Well, President Trump's
- 33:43Speaker 1: former personal lawyer and fixer was trotted off to jail
- 33:46Speaker 1: yesterday for three years. Michael Kohen was convicted of tax
- 33:49Speaker 1: evasion and campaign finance violations related to his payment of
- 33:53Speaker 1: hush money on Trump's behalf to women who said they
- 33:56Speaker 1: had affairs with the married president, and as Cohen left
- 33:59Speaker 1: his Manhattan apart, and yesterday morning he took one last
- 34:02Speaker 1: not to veil swipe at mister Trump. I hope that
- 34:05Speaker 1: when I rejoined my family and friends, that the country
- 34:09Speaker 1: will be in a place without xenophobia, injustice, and lies
- 34:15Speaker 1: at the helm of our country. There still remains much
- 34:19Speaker 1: to be told, and I look forward to the day
- 34:22Speaker 1: that I can share the truth. And he said thank
- 34:24Speaker 1: you very much and went about his business. President Trump
- 34:27Speaker 1: awarded Tiger Woods with the Presidential Medical Freedom yesterday. Trump
- 34:30Speaker 1: announced his intention to honor Tiger after he won last
- 34:33Speaker 1: month's Master's tournament overcoming years of painful injuries. And he's
- 34:37Speaker 1: got a long relationship with the star golfer. Trump got
- 34:40Speaker 1: Tiger Woods to show up at his taj Mahal casino
- 34:43Speaker 1: in Atlantic City for publicity right after Tiger's first Master's
- 34:47Speaker 1: Toorney win in nineteen ninety seven, and then golf is
- 34:50Speaker 1: at Trump's club in De Ralph, Florida can stay at
- 34:52Speaker 1: something called the Tiger Woods Villa. Also, Tiger Woods has
- 34:55Speaker 1: even designed an eighteen hole golf course for Trump and Dubai.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Tiger Woods is the fourth professional golf for to receive
- 35:00Speaker 1: the Medal of Freedom if he follows Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicholas,
- 35:03Speaker 1: and Charlie Stifford. Charlie Sifford is considered the Jackie Robinson
- 35:07Speaker 1: of golf. The US Treasury Department says, yeah, it's not
- 35:10Speaker 1: going to comply with the congressional request to turn over
- 35:13Speaker 1: a six years worth of President Trump's tax returns. They
- 35:15Speaker 1: say now. The Houseways and Means Committee says it needs
- 35:18Speaker 1: to see Trump's taxes in order to conduct proper oversight
- 35:21Speaker 1: of elected officials. Of Treasury Secretary Stephen Manusian calls the
- 35:24Speaker 1: request unprecedented and presents serious constitutional questions. He says, one
- 35:30Speaker 1: more real said example of how dangerous it is for
- 35:32Speaker 1: so many black and brown children to just go about
- 35:35Speaker 1: their lives on the week when testimony begins in the
- 35:37Speaker 1: case of Junior Gosman, a Bronx teenager in New York
- 35:40Speaker 1: who was dragged out of a bodegan and brutally stabbed
- 35:42Speaker 1: to death by gang bangers in a case of mistaken identity,
- 35:46Speaker 1: now comes worthy that a thirteen year old athletics standout
- 35:48Speaker 1: in Allinois, thirteen years old, shot and killed by a
- 35:51Speaker 1: stray bullet as he and a friend left a weekend party.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Please say Jalon Mackenzie, who Sports Illustrated called one of
- 35:57Speaker 1: the sixteens who would rule the future of sport. So
- 36:00Speaker 1: that's how good this kid was. He was just about
- 36:02Speaker 1: to enter at East Saint Louis High School as a
- 36:04Speaker 1: star football player. Thirteen years old. Dead, family and friends
- 36:10Speaker 1: and dignitaries attended the private funeral yesterday for groundbreaking black
- 36:13Speaker 1: filmmaker John Singleton. Those in attendants include a Congress Fiman,
- 36:16Speaker 1: Maxine Waters, Stevie Wonder, Tyrese Ice Cube, actress Nia Long,
- 36:20Speaker 1: Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, her husband, actor Richard Lawson, being Rames,
- 36:24Speaker 1: just to name a few day all there black Hollywood
- 36:26Speaker 1: in evidence A Singleton stuffered a stroke on April seventeenth
- 36:30Speaker 1: and never recovered. He was only fifty one. Finally, today's
- 36:32Speaker 1: National Teacher Appreciation Day. Yes you do, Yes, you do.
- 36:38Speaker 1: And if any teacher ever left the positive impression on you,
- 36:40Speaker 1: remember that person today. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:43Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. All right, guys, it
- 36:49Speaker 1: is time for asked Steve. We have a question. Yeah,
- 36:53Speaker 1: now listen to this. Yeah, A one question one yeah, yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 1: Well this is from a twenty two year old This
- 37:02Speaker 1: is from a millennial so um and his name is
- 37:06Speaker 1: also Steve your namesake, he says, Hi, mister Harvey, I
- 37:09Speaker 1: work full time and I'm currently in school to become
- 37:12Speaker 1: a psychiatric mental health nurse. My faith is strong and
- 37:16Speaker 1: I know that with God, anything is possible. So my
- 37:19Speaker 1: question to you is, on your path to become an entertainer,
- 37:23Speaker 1: did you ever doubt yourself, think your dream was too
- 37:26Speaker 1: big or think about giving up? And how did you
- 37:29Speaker 1: strengthen your connection to God and never lose hope that
- 37:32Speaker 1: your prayers and hard work would pay off. That's a
- 37:35Speaker 1: great question. Well, you know, look, no matter who you are,
- 37:40Speaker 1: we're human and you're gonna have moments of doubt because
- 37:45Speaker 1: it's so difficult to make a success of yourself. So
- 37:48Speaker 1: that's gonna be times. Man, what you're going to be
- 37:51Speaker 1: faced with the man that I make the right Oh? Man,
- 37:54Speaker 1: it's this working man. Ever, is it gonna change? Is
- 37:57Speaker 1: it gonna get better? I mean you know I'm even
- 38:00Speaker 1: in that congoing Man. Is it gonna get better? Man?
- 38:02Speaker 1: Did I make the right move? Man? Should I go
- 38:05Speaker 1: back home? Man? I mean, you know you're gonna have
- 38:08Speaker 1: doubts along the way. Sometimes you're gonna doubting, or let
- 38:13Speaker 1: me say it to you this way, it's gonna be
- 38:15Speaker 1: so daunting at times that you're going to be faced
- 38:18Speaker 1: with some things that appear to be insurmountable. But here's
- 38:23Speaker 1: what I always had to do. Whenever I got to
- 38:26Speaker 1: moments like that, I thought of the ultimate dream that
- 38:31Speaker 1: I had for myself and my family. What am I
- 38:36Speaker 1: really shooting for? And I think what people have to
- 38:40Speaker 1: do is you have to be conscious of the size
- 38:43Speaker 1: of your dreams. You have to have dreams so big
- 38:49Speaker 1: that not getting your dream is unacceptable because the consequence,
- 38:54Speaker 1: the alternative, the alternative to not receiving your dreams is unacceptable.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And you've just got to dreams so big that your
- 39:03Speaker 1: dreams are bigger than whatever problem you're having. So dreaming
- 39:08Speaker 1: big is not the problem because God is all out
- 39:12Speaker 1: there in them big dreams. God is in to make
- 39:14Speaker 1: your dream come true. Business. So I want you to
- 39:17Speaker 1: just stay. You have to stay prayerful man throughout the journey.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Prayer changes things, and prayer gives you a relationship with
- 39:25Speaker 1: your creator that allows you to have the strength that
- 39:27Speaker 1: you don't have in your weakest moments, allows you to
- 39:31Speaker 1: be your strongest because it connects you closer to him.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Your weakness is where he gives you the strength. Hey man,
- 39:39Speaker 1: go ahead, all right, Steve, all right. Coming up at
- 39:41Speaker 1: thirty four after the hours, Fame director John Singleton was
- 39:46Speaker 1: funeralized yesterday. We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening. Well.
- 39:53Speaker 1: A private funeral, guys, was held for Hollywood director John Singleton.
- 39:57Speaker 1: It was held yesterday, that's Monday, in Los Angele at
- 40:00Speaker 1: Angela's funeral home, and only his family and his closest
- 40:04Speaker 1: friends were in attendant. But Ludacris was there, Ice Cube, Tyrese,
- 40:09Speaker 1: Jim Brown, Tina Knowles, and Congresswoman Maxine Waters were just
- 40:13Speaker 1: a few of the guests who attended. It is reported
- 40:15Speaker 1: that Singleton's family will hold a larger memorial in a
- 40:19Speaker 1: few weeks. They're going to celebrate his life there. If
- 40:22Speaker 1: you recall, Singleton, of course, died last week at the
- 40:24Speaker 1: age of fifty one. He suffered a stroke. Yeah, on
- 40:28Speaker 1: fifty one young, fifty one years young. He suffered a
- 40:31Speaker 1: stroke on April seventeenth. Shot to everyone. John Singleton's impact
- 40:36Speaker 1: will continue to be felt on one of his favorite projects.
- 40:40Speaker 1: On As You Know, Singleton co created Snowfall that comes
- 40:44Speaker 1: on FX Love that show. He was extremely hands on
- 40:47Speaker 1: and his roles as director and producer on that series
- 40:51Speaker 1: and Snowfall. Sources have reported that production on season three
- 40:54Speaker 1: is almost done and there are no plans to replace
- 40:57Speaker 1: John as executive producer. Wow Love Snowfall. Yeah, and he
- 41:03Speaker 1: might be missed. His impact in the industry. Steve was
- 41:07Speaker 1: no John Singleton. Man. Gave us so many great moments
- 41:10Speaker 1: and so many jobs. He created for so many it is,
- 41:14Speaker 1: there's so many entertainers and actors that owe him a
- 41:22Speaker 1: debt of gratitude for being very, very instrumental in their careers.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I mean, he oftentimes gave people spots who couldn't get
- 41:30Speaker 1: him any place else. He was just a trend setter.
- 41:34Speaker 1: He was so gifted. You never heard anything bad about him.
- 41:39Speaker 1: His word was his bond. He was just a gorgeous
- 41:43Speaker 1: human being. Man. He was just one of them brothers.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Man that was just a solid dude. And you didn't
- 41:49Speaker 1: hear none crazy about him. He just he did his work. Man.
- 41:52Speaker 1: He was dedicated to his work. Man. I love the dude. Man.
- 41:55Speaker 1: He's a great brother. Man. I wasn't real close to him,
- 41:59Speaker 1: but every time my soul. We shared a smile and
- 42:01Speaker 1: laugh and a hug, you know. And I think last
- 42:04Speaker 1: time I physically saw him was in Neiman Marcus over
- 42:07Speaker 1: in Beverly Hills. Time I saw him physically. Wow, that's
- 42:11Speaker 1: a great brother man, and Steve, you echo would So
- 42:14Speaker 1: many people who knew him in Hollywood have said, I
- 42:17Speaker 1: haven't heard one bad word to him. Everyone says glowing things.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Yeah about because you know what, go ahead, Oh no,
- 42:27Speaker 1: I was just going to say that. You know, he
- 42:30Speaker 1: suffered from this came out after his passing from high
- 42:33Speaker 1: blood pressure, and his family, uh did were they were
- 42:37Speaker 1: encouraging people, especially black men, to go and get tested

- 43:40Speaker 1: an enjoyable time without all them stupid ass comments coming
- 43:43Speaker 1: out of left field. I get tired of just correcting
- 43:46Speaker 1: him and listening to that ignorant miss. I like a
- 43:48Speaker 1: day without just dumb ass statements and high level ass igness.

- 45:27Speaker 1: you know, they go to school. I mean it used
- 45:29Speaker 1: to be that it was more difficult for them to

- 45:34Speaker 1: Tommy was the only one in his only one and
- 45:39Speaker 1: still fail the W class. It was hard for Tommy
- 45:42Speaker 1: to learn because of the size of him desk. Tommy
- 45:48Speaker 1: ass had trouble getting up in that chair and putting
- 45:51Speaker 1: his arm up there high enough to write the damn

- 54:16Speaker 1: Subjects listen speaking your friends, Junior. We're just friends, but
- 54:20Speaker 1: we could be so much more. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm
- 54:24Speaker 1: in a bad situation and I need your advice. A
- 54:28Speaker 1: few months ago, I was in a great relationship and
- 54:31Speaker 1: my man and I were happy. I had a male
- 54:34Speaker 1: neighbor that I only talked to on social media. My
- 54:39Speaker 1: man found out about us sending each other messages and
- 54:41Speaker 1: he accused me of messing around with the guy. He
- 54:45Speaker 1: said it was inappropriate and I needed to stop, so
- 54:48Speaker 1: I did, but my neighbor kept on. He just kept
- 54:51Speaker 1: on liking my pictures and leaving comments every time I
- 54:55Speaker 1: posted a picture on Instagram. Then, shortly after I stopped
- 55:00Speaker 1: talking to my neighbor, I found out that my man
- 55:02Speaker 1: was cheating on me, and I was devastated. I was
- 55:06Speaker 1: so angry that I sent a message to my neighbor
- 55:09Speaker 1: and I invited him to work out with me and
- 55:12Speaker 1: go for a run. The run and good workout helped
- 55:17Speaker 1: me blow off a little steam, and afterwards I went
- 55:21Speaker 1: to my neighbor's apartment to cool down and talk for
- 55:24Speaker 1: a while. Everything was going good until he got all
- 55:27Speaker 1: weird and told me that he has always liked me
- 55:31Speaker 1: and would love to take me out. I told him
- 55:34Speaker 1: that it was a bad time and I went home.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Later that day, I told my man that I went
- 55:39Speaker 1: running with the neighbor, and he got very upset and
- 55:42Speaker 1: truly believed that I cheated on him, so he broke
- 55:46Speaker 1: up with me. I'm single now and I have been
- 55:49Speaker 1: talking to my neighbor and working out with him a lot.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I'm starting to really like him, but I am skeptical
- 55:55Speaker 1: about dating him because I don't want my ex boyfriend
- 55:58Speaker 1: to think we were messing around all along. What if
- 56:01Speaker 1: my ext just need a little break and he comes
- 56:04Speaker 1: back and wants us to get back together. Should I
- 56:06Speaker 1: hold out and wait to see or move on with
- 56:08Speaker 1: the man that I'm starting to like a lot? Please help? Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 1: I think you kind of know the answer to your question,
- 56:18Speaker 1: even though you wrote us to ask us. I think
- 56:21Speaker 1: you kind of know. You're waiting around for what for
- 56:26Speaker 1: your man to maybe try to make up his mind
- 56:28Speaker 1: to see if he wants to get back with you.
- 56:30Speaker 1: So you're just wasting your time waiting on him. I mean,
- 56:35Speaker 1: come on, he's the one who accused you of doing
- 56:37Speaker 1: something you weren't doing to begin with, and it was
- 56:40Speaker 1: him that was cheating all along. So I say this
- 56:44Speaker 1: to you, this is your life. You got to move
- 56:46Speaker 1: on with your life and do what makes you happy
- 56:50Speaker 1: and have joy. And if this if seeing you know
- 56:53Speaker 1: this other man your neighbor and working out with him,
- 56:56Speaker 1: if that makes you happy and you're starting to like
- 56:59Speaker 1: him and he treat you well and everything, and you
- 57:02Speaker 1: know you don't have any more feelings for your ex,
- 57:06Speaker 1: then keep moving forward. Move in the direction that makes
- 57:10Speaker 1: you happy. Don't wait around for this other guy who
- 57:13Speaker 1: was cheating on you and you found out and he
- 57:15Speaker 1: was lying to you all this time. Come on now,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you want to make your next move your best move.
- 57:21Speaker 1: And like I said, if this guy makes you happy,
- 57:24Speaker 1: and if he treats you really well, you know, keep
- 57:27Speaker 1: see how it goes with this guy. You don't have
- 57:29Speaker 1: to jump in bed with him right away, but get
- 57:31Speaker 1: to know him, continue to work out with him, you know,
- 57:34Speaker 1: become friends and maybe this will lead to something. But
- 57:37Speaker 1: just sitting around waiting for this other guy to maybe
- 57:40Speaker 1: decide to come back with you. Did you forget that
- 57:42Speaker 1: he cheated on you? Did you forget that hello, he
- 57:45Speaker 1: cheated and accused you of cheating. Usually people who are cheating,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you know, like to take the attention off of them
- 57:52Speaker 1: and accuse the other person. So no, don't wait around
- 57:55Speaker 1: for him. Keep your life moving in a good and
- 57:58Speaker 1: positive direction with someone you like and who likes you
- 58:01Speaker 1: and treat you well. Steve, Okay, I'm gonna have to
- 58:06Speaker 1: get to this letter in a different way. This woman
- 58:11Speaker 1: is in a bad situation only because she's thinking about
- 58:14Speaker 1: it in a bad way. A few months ago, you're
- 58:18Speaker 1: in a great relationship with my man. Y'all was happy.
- 58:21Speaker 1: You're the male neighbor that I only talked to on
- 58:23Speaker 1: social media. My man found out about us sending each
- 58:26Speaker 1: other message. He excused me and messing around with the guy.
- 58:28Speaker 1: He said it was inappropriate and I needed to stop,
- 58:31Speaker 1: so I did. The neighbor kept on liking my pictures
- 58:35Speaker 1: and leaven comments every time I posted on Instagram. Okay, oh,
- 58:38Speaker 1: let me ask y'all something nothing to message? When you
- 58:42Speaker 1: was talking to the guy just on social media? What
- 58:45Speaker 1: y'all be talking about? I mean, y'all talking on social media?
- 58:51Speaker 1: You live with a dude or and he's single? What?
- 58:55Speaker 1: What what y'all talking about? Hey? Hey, Hey, I'm feeling
- 58:59Speaker 1: you ain't come up. I like all your pictures. Man,
- 59:02Speaker 1: You're so beautiful to me. You can't tell me that
- 59:05Speaker 1: it ain't come up. That's impossible, because y'all just on
- 59:10Speaker 1: that talking to a guy on social media. Y'all socializing
- 59:14Speaker 1: on the media. That's why they called it social media.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Got it? But then, Charlotte, you socializing on the media,
- 59:27Speaker 1: and that's why it calls it social media. Got it.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Then shortly after I stopped talking to my neighbor. It
- 59:34Speaker 1: wouldn't it wouldn't let it get stupid. I found out
- 59:38Speaker 1: my man was cheating on me, and I was deva
- 59:43Speaker 1: stated because I was so angry. This is how she
- 59:50Speaker 1: handled the devastation. I was so angry. I sent a
- 59:54Speaker 1: message to my neighbor and invited him to work out
- 59:57Speaker 1: with me and go for a run. Yeah, what, you devastated?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: So I called my neighbor. I'm punishing him. I show
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: your ass to have been here and do something to me.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna call my neighbor and work out and go
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: for a run and help me blow off a little steam.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: So then I went to my neighbor's apartment to cool
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: down and talk for a while. Your first date and
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: you go over that sweaty running, jogging, just sweaty. Everything

- 1:00:39Speaker 1: what I want to what's weird about this? Told me
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: he always liked me, and he would love to take me.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: The hell that's weird. You're sitting over that at his
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: damn house. You just got through running the jogging, got

- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And then you found out that your boyfriend cheated on
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you after you stopped. So now you were so angry

- 1:02:13Speaker 1: media friend and asked him to come work out with
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you and go for a rug. And that's exactly what
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: y'all did. And then after you went for the run

- 1:02:25Speaker 1: apartment and everything was going You take your sweaty self
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: over there, took yourself over there, and then said everything
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: was going cool. And then he got all weird on
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: me and told me that he always liked me, and
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: with loud to take me out. I told him that
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: was a bad time and I went home with your
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: nutty ass? What kind of nutty ass person to shoot? You?
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Sent up? Hi? What's devastated because he cheated on you?
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: And then you go out with the man and you

- 1:03:06Speaker 1: just booted just all over the damn side, just but
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you the knock tree back off. He behind you, going
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: lord lord looking man. Now you told him it was
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a bad time, and then you went home. Then later
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: that day here where you get real looking at that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I told my man that I went running with the neighbor.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: He got so very upset and truly believed that I
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: cheated on so he broke up with me. Wait a minute,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: did I miss something? He got mad at you for
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: thinking for cheating on him. He break up with you.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: You got mad at him thinking he cheat on you.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Your ass went to work out and went on for

- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I think it's you. So he broke up with me.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I'm single nine. I've been talking to my neighbor, working
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: out with him a lot. I really started liking him,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: but I'm skeptical about dating him because I don't want
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend to think we were messing around all along.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Who gives a damn what your ex boyfriend think. He
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: wasn't thinking nothing when he was cheating on you either.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: But now you're sitting up here. I'ms I don't want
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend think we was messing around all along.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: What if my ex just needed a little break and
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: come backs and wants us to get back yell, okay,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: now let me ask you a question. Are you slow?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: What are you slow? It's just a slow person because
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: of its because you are. I mean, if she's slow,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: tell me if she's slow, because I need to talk
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to difference. This has got to be a slow person.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I don't know what is the word that we can
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: use that's politically correct to describe a slow person, because
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you ain't supposed to call him stupid because challenge mentally challenge,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you can't call let me see special? Is she special?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: What is she? Because this can't be this can't be regular.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: This is this is start. I'm starting to really like him,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: but I'm skettered about dating here because I don't want
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend think we was messing around all along.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: What if my ex just needs a little break and
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: he comes back and just wants us to get back
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: together again. He don't need a break. He was taking breaks.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: He was with another girl. He's just taking breaks. He
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: was taking breaks and then coming back to you. He
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: been on breaks, he do breaks? Should I just hold
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: out and wait and see? Yeah? There you go? Yeah?

- 1:05:59Speaker 1: she she all sounds crazy. She's look nutty, she whipped out.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Oh god, Should I just hold out to wait and see?
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Or move on with a man that I'm starting to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: like a lot. You've been liking him. You liked him
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: when you called him up right away, You liked him
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: when you was talking to him social media. You got
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to get in touch with your own feelings, your own feelings,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: say that, yeah she likes him? Oh yeah, definitely get
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: mad and go run with somebody. Hey, she had a
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: blossom steam stops. That's how you Because she was mad
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: when she found out that her her boyfriend had cheated
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: on her. He accused her of cheating. He was the
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: one that was cheating all along with you. Yeah, I
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: went on Macau. I see most people, but no time
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: that like running. Yeah, she caught the short bus to school.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I'm almost certainly you're you're really embarrassing. No, I really do, man.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I think she spent a lot of time down at
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the counselor's office in school. I think I think she's
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: been what they called it or reassigned before. She has
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: been in school and been reassigned before. Yeah, she's had
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to because what if my ex just needed a little
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: breaking he come back and want us to get back together.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Should I hold out and wait and see, because I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: don't want my ex boyfriend think we just messed around

- 1:08:36Speaker 1: up in ten minutes. We'll review the headlines and some
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: trending ladders right after this crazy you're listening show. Well,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: it looks like Jesse Smallett's Empire co stars that includes
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Taraji p Henson and Terrence Howard are not satisfied with
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Fox's plan to keep Jesse's character off the upcoming season.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: They are lobbying network exec to bring him back full time.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: It's reported that the cast feels that Jesse's character was
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: an incredibly important part of the show and they don't
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: think that his return to Empire will hurt the writings
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: one of them and he's been exonerated. He clear, Yeah,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: he's clear. What is Fox tripping for? Yeah, man, y'all, Man,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: y'all act cleck y'all always played his self righteous role.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: The man is clear. All charges dropped, that's it. Yep. Yeah,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: so you know the Fox News off the damn Man.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: But in one of the day line ass over there
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: if you gonna pull something, man, pull that damn News show,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: y'all got because they ain't over there doing nothing but Lyne. Hey,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: that's the President's favorite station. Come on now. In one
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: of the final episodes of season five of Empire, Jesse's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: character Jamal got married. This was in the first gay
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: black wedding prime time on TV. Okay, So I guess
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: we'll just have to wait until next season to see
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: what happens. But I'm with Taraji and Terrence. Bring them
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: back and Steve bring them back. We love Jamal on
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the show. Yeah, bring him back. Also, the biggest celebrity
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: event of the year happened last night. It was the
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: met Gaylub. It was held in New York's Metropolitan Museum
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: of Art. This year's theme was camp, so the celebrities
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: there show up in their own interpretation of camp attire,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you know, like over the top type stuff. Lady Gaga
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Harry Styles hosted the event and the tickets reportedly were
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: thirty five thousand dollars each and three hundred yes, thirty
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: five well wait that's just for tickets, yeah, and three
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars for a table. And this was an
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: invitation only event. Lady Gaga made a big entrance at
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: the met by parachuting onto the red carpet in a
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: supersized Brandon Maxwell dress. That's the designer. Then she changed
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: into several more dresses and finally showed up. Hey, forget
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: about it. She finally showed up wearing nothing but a
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: shiny bra, underwear, fishnets and heels. All right, let's get
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a crack in a right lady. I know. Serena Williams
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: stunned everyone in a neon yellow floral gown. It was
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: beautiful too. She wore matching neon yellow nikes with her dress,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: and the dress is long. She's tall. You don't know
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: whether she has on heels or sneakers or whatever, but
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: she had on some nikes and they matched, and I'm
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: sure she was comfortable for the entire night. Chris Jenner
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: wore a navy blue strapless jumpsuit with a blonde bob wig,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and of course Corey was with her on the red carpet.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Our girl Tiffany Hattish wore a zebra striped, sequined bell
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: bottomed pantsuit and she had on a blonde wig with that.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian wore the super low lots of clear, even
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: low cut yellow Versachi gown and with her hair was
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: just beautifully wavy. It looked wet. It was really pretty
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: in her face. Her face was beat. The weirdest outfit
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: by far for me was Jared Ledo his outfit. His
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: outfit was beautiful, but he wore a long, high neck
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: red Gucci gown. It had a crystal harness, but he
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: accented his outfit Steve with a life size replica of
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: his own head. What you gotta go online and see
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: pictures of this, because okay, it's him walking down and
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: he's holding his head on the stick or something weird.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: He walked around with it all night, didn't put it down,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: just him and this big old head, his head, all right.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: It was crazy though, But Marjorie Steve. She posted some
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: pictures she went on the gram. She went to the
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: met Gala last year in a two thousand eighteen so um,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I mean, have you ever gone? And would you go?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I never asked me. I don't know. I don't even
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: know what it really you know, I mean I would go,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I guess, but I ain't never been asked. My girl went.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: She was a guest of a dosche Cabanas last year.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, I've ever liked tried to go to anything.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: It's thirty. Well, it's fashion, Steve, and you know how
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you love fashion and everything, so it would have it
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: would have been, but I wouldn't suggest Kanye. I wanna
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: just go just angry as black dude off smiling what Kanye.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I was there with Kim of course. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: saw Kim Kardashi. Yeah, I mean she was. Yeah, she's
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: beautiful girl. She's really beautiful. I mean, you know, say
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: what you want to say. She's beautiful now, you know,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: but she's actually doing some incredible stuff. Yeah. You know,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: people talk about her, but what has she done to anybody? Right?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: And they're nice? I mean, you know, she's she's lived
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: her life. You may not like the decisions she's made,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: but she ain't made none of them counter to you. Yeah.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: The only thing, the only issue, my only issue I
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: ever had with them was early on in the show, Steve,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: when they first started, they would just be so mean
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: to their mom, so disrespectful. I even heard that, you know,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: they looked back at some of those episodes and like,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: we're embarrassed at how they used to treat their mom.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: But now they've grown, they matured, you know, they respect
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: and love their mom and they do pranks and stuff now,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: but nothing like they used to do. And I mean
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I like the girls. They've evolved. Everybody grows, you know, hopefully. Yeah,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: she's beautiful, beautiful, and I saw the picture. They ain't
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: gonna be that damn reaction you had. I just had
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: that when I'm very smart. Man. Oh, no, I promise you.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Oh that's right. Yeah, No, I's sorry. I didn't you
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: forgot moment, Junior. Oh, I got to you, and Junior,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: you know, the rumors are still out there, so they
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: don't try to start anything. No, you better. According to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: the Internet, the papers have already been signed. When would
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you leave? Would you go? Tail me? It's just a
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: matter of time. Steve, all right, coming up at the
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: top of the hour, Uh, Steve, did you see this?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Tiger Woods, your favorite golfer, got a major award. And
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: we'll talk about some more trending topics as well. That's
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening to the President.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Trump bestowed Tiger Woods with the nation's highest civilian honor,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: the Presidential Medal of Freedom, on Monday evening this was
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: going on in the White House Rose Garden. He hailed
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Tiger as a global symbol of American excellent. Uh, The
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: president says Tiger inspired millions of Americans with his thrilling
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: victories on the golf course and for his incredible comeback
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: after all of the physical ailments he's dealt with over
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: the years. Tiger thanked his kids, his mom, his girlfriend,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and he shouted out the people who stuck with him
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: through the good and the bad, the highs and the lows.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: So good moment for Tigers. Really good moment for time
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: and very deserving as well. I mean, you know, look,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: people mad about that. Why would he give Tiger presidential Look? Man,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: it's what the dude knows about. He knows about golf, golf,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: So that's it, answer, Steve. He know about golf. He
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: don't know about a lot, but he know about golf.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Let him have at Yeah, something he didn't have to
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: lie about, you know. Yeah, he lied. He gave somebody.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I actually liked Tiger Woods getting somebody, huh. And some
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: more Derby news. Steve, you were at the Derby over
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the weekend for the very first time. Yeah, looking fly
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: in that pink hat. I saw you, all right, But anyway,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: an appeal by the owners of Maximum Security was denied yesterday,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission has denied an appeal by
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the owners UH to reverse his disqualification. A maximum security
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: finished first. We all know that finished first in the race,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: but Stewards at the Churchill downs a rule that he
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: veered into another horse's path and slowed that horse's race.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: The appeal, filed by Gary and Mary West, reads the
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: steward's acts in reviewing the one hundrety fifth running of
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the Kentucky Derby were arbitrary and capricious and did not
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: comply with applicable administrative regulations. I don't know what. I
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: don't mean a damn thing. Listen. Were basically I don't
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: know what they were saying at doll No. Number seven
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: one race. Now, they made a mistake in saying that
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: he veered off into If you look at the tape,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: man was all the way behind him. His horse's front
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: legs was up in that booty or the other horse. Now,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: who'll put their ass in the way of your foot?
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I'm just ash do that. Who'll do that? Especially when
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: your foot is a hoof rolls over and goes. Here's
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the crack the center point of my booty. You got
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: shoes on and a hoof stick one of them up
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: in him while we running at top speed. But now
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: they're talking about they want to reverse it, but they
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: can't reverse it because they paid out all that money.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: That money, all that money go out, So now you
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: pay that money out, falling long shots. Now, guess what
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: everybody with a seven ticket like me, because I had
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: seven win place in show and I had seven for
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: the in Wow, I had some money out there. But
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you know what when they I was mad when they
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: reversed it. But what I came away with after the
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: derby was way more more than that money right there
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to me. You know, I formed some new relationships down
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: what happened? Yeah, no, no, no, I met some cool people,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: form some new relationships. I'm done. I'm so good man.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: You're going back. You're gonna go about dog dog. I
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: gotta put this on my list, man, I know you
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: need to put on your list. No, here we go.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I just I'm just saying, hey, hey, hey, you let
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: me spay something. If you want to go to the derby,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: listen to you got three hundred and sixty three days
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: to get yourself ready for the derby. You can start
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: looking for your outfit. You can get your little hat
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: and everything. So we're going. We're going. No, I'm going.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: It's not like if he wants to go, he need
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: he gonna get ready. Now see what what Junior gonna
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: quit playing? It's like he ain't got no damn. But
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I ain't saying that that Steve. No, that's not what
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I'm saying. He wants to go with you saying, mean
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: what because you know how to ball and he wants
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to be in there with you so you can teach.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: You just learn, continue to mentor him. You mean watch
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: about yeah, go down now on the infield right, walk around.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: He doesn't want to go by himself, I thought. I
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: mean imagine you know how many women he could get
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: and all of that if he shows up with you.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: You know what your name means out there for me?
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Thank you? Is? Is? That's the herb? Yeah, that's that's
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: h And then you look over that boy, I'm in
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: hats own flows has own flows. You got to say,

- 1:21:06Speaker 1: flew delta. Oh no, we didn't come in at that airport. Yeah.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I flew in on delth Oh no, no you didn't. Boy,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: If you flew do you know how much that would
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: be on CN if you were indeterminal you was at
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: terminal three at Lax. Do you know TIMS would have
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: caught your ass somewhere? You dog, you at the terminal?
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Oh no, we go bout it. But you know, you
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: know how many baggers hands would have called me dog

- 1:21:45Speaker 1: people up there at depth. We know. I got a
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: feeling you're gonna go next year, Junior. I got a feeling. Yeah.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So back to this Derby story. To wrap things up,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: The Commission maintains that this is basically the biggest race
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: at the most same track in North America. Those stewards
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: are the best in the business. Stars ain't the best
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: indefence they made. This is what they're saying they I'm
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: telling you, I believe you. I'm just telling you what
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: their defense is. They always say that them that's the
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: same damn referees. That's why the damn Saints ain't in it.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: The best, the best of the business. Yeah, they have
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to stand by, they have to double down on their lives.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Hell yeah, secure the confidence of the p A man,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: the coach for the Rams came up to me, Sean mcvayh. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 1:24:09Speaker 1: They're helping up in the mess hall. They're all eating,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: they're having a wonderful time. Not sassy, but what's the
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: little girl, white girl with the white hair. Colisee Collis
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: sitting there looking upside John Snow's head, wondering why all
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: the men gathered around him. I'm the damn queen, right,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: but they don't know that he the real queen, that's right.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: So they're sitting up down, they're all all was talking

- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Cast here an alcoholic. Now, he's such an alcoholic that
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: they tried to give him some coffee between brakes and
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: left the damn cup on the table. They were trying
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to sober up Tyrion so he could do his damn scene. Well,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: police goes in the back with John Snow and they're
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: coming there with the pack that he bags her that
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: he has to tell them the truth. He finds his family,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: his brother and his sister. He tells it, I'm not
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: really John Snow. I am the Lord. I am the
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: rightful as to the iron throne that threw him off. Course,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: didn't a little or the little blind boy to be
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: looking all up in the air at the bridge and everything.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: He knowed it. So he was saying that your choice.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: He knowed it. He know that. Now I'm trying to say,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to stand English active, but I want to
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: go hood. You gotta go back to black. I want
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: to go hood now. I want to switch in and
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: out and then lo and behold a man with the
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: iron hand. I don't know his name, Jamie Jamie, Jamie
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Lanister hits on the Big Game of Thrones, Babe, the
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: one that looked like the girl at work out the
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: radio station. It was all and cracking Brianna Toddle. Yeah,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: I called a Tarz for Sean. He got in that
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: bed with Tarza and they knew not to show all
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: that because there was a lot fare was all in
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: his mouth every time I looked on that ball. That
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: iron hand was putting some monocles every time I looked out,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: and the ass she was asleep. Oh my god, she
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: sleep again. But then she ain't never had none. If
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: I was something, how the asse? She know what's good?
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: You probably just real regular, But she ain't never had none.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Wait a minute, your grace, that was surprising to me.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: I didn't know that about her. Throw me we're off. No,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: she never had none. Who gonna get it? Look who
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: you're not gonna go get an ass for something? Scared
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: to get the damn head cut off? So then everything
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: went everything, And then on they went went over there,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: look at the castle where Ciss was, and cs ass
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: pushed a little fine black chick off that thing, and
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: that little Unich dude he mad at hell, he gonna
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: kill everybody in there, And they cut that girl's head off.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: That big old lass dude cut that girl's head off
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: and threw off that wall that was a damn shade. Yeah,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: So now Klisi walks off, she gonna get on that
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: damn dragon. It's gonna be some hell the pills when

- 1:31:30Speaker 1: last break of the day, just the three of us today,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: just three of us. Yeah, we can make it if
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: we try. Just the three of us. Will be back tomorrow.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: And of course our prayers are still going up for Jay. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: you know. I um want to share something with you
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: all about your trials and tribulations. I want to talk
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: to you about when things are not going the way
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: you want them to in life. I've often said this
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: many on different occasions in different ways, but I have
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: something I'm going to read to you that might help
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: you understand what you're going through. The thing that I've
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: had to come to in my life was everything you're
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: going through is preparing you for what you ask God for,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: and everything that you're going through is God preparing you
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: for what He has for you. It's two different things. Now,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: I want you to understand something. Everything that happened to
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: you ain't from God, and everything that happened to you
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: ain't from the devil. Sometimes God is allowing things to
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: happen because there's a lesson you need to know and
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: sometimes the devil just business and he just throwing his
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: imps at you, forty going off. They're coming from everywhere.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: But if I could get you to if I could
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: get you to not address those imps, if I could
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: get you to not waver in your commitment to God,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: if I could get you, as hard as it is
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: now to ignore them, it will serve you well. I
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: ask God for insulation. You know what I found is,
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: you know, because you're famous and you see a person,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: you see a thousand comments. Let's say, okay, let's say this.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: Let's say, as a famous person, you see eight hundred
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: negative comments about you. That's eight hundred people who don't
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: know you. That's eight hundred people who ain't got nothing
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: else to do. They're not indicative of the masses. The
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: masses don't even know that. They typing or their own line.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: Real people don't don't even know that. So in the
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: total scheme of things, what would that mean to you?
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: So let's talk about you if you're not famous and
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: sixty people say something bad about you that don't know you.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Because if there's sixty people that can say something bad
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: about you that don't you, what does that mean? It
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: means nothing. It means nothing. Stop letting that stuff sway
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: your day. Man, hate is loud, but love is stronger.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: So I'm gonna read something to you about that has
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: helped me deal with a lot of stuff that happens
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: from time to time. Anything that annoys you is teaching
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: you patience. Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: to stand up on your own two feet. Anything that
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion. Anything that
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: has power over you is teaching you how to take
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: your power back. Anything you hate is teaching you unconditional love.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Anything you fear is teaching you to the courage to
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: overcome your fear. And anything you can't control is teaching
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: you how to let go. I'm gonna read it again
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: because this fits into somebody's life today, and especially at
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: the end. The things you can't control, you gotta let
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: them go. I was reading the scripture this morning that
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: says I was talking about worry. If by worrying, you
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: cannot add one hour to your life, which is a
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: very very important thing to be able to do. If
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: you can add time, but if through worrying you cannot
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: do one the one single thing is to extend your
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: life by an hour. If worrying will not allow you
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: to extend your life by one hour, and you can't
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: do that one thing, then why are you worried about
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: the rest of it? Why? Why are you worried about
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: the rest of it? Are you for real? You can't
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: do nothing about that? Look, man, you got to learn
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: how to let stuff go. You gotta let some of
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: the stuff. Anything that annoys you is teaching you patience.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how to stand
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: up on your own two feet. Anything that angers you
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: is teaching you forgiveness and compassion. Anything that has power
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: over you is teaching you how to take your power back.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: Anything you hate is teaching you unconditional love. Anything you
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: fear is teaching you the courage to overcome your fear.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: And anything you can't control is teaching you how to
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: let it go. Those things have benefited me because in
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: my life I've had to deal with every last one
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: or all annoying people, people abandoned me, people who are
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: things that have angered me, stuff that used to have
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: power over me. I used to hate some things. I
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: used to have fear of some things, and I used
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: to try to control everything. Boy, when I got to
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: understand what all that was, its simplified my life. It
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: really really did, and I wanted to simplify yours. Anything
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: that annoys you is teaching you patience. Anyone who abandons
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: you is teaching you how to stand on your own
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: two feet. Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness
