- 0:00Speaker 1: Today show is pre recorded.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Y'all know what time y'all don't know y'all.
- 0:09Speaker 1: At all at all, So.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Don't given a million bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Listening to.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Hand I don't. Joy, Yeah, Joy, you gotta do that
- 1:01Speaker 3: turn you love you, you. You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 4: To turn the mouth the turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 4: turn out to turn out, turn the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Come come on you think that?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me
- 2:08Speaker 5: now on and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Man, oh man, oh man? How good is God to me?
- 2:16Speaker 5: And part of the mission and the reason that I
- 2:18Speaker 5: have a radio show is to become a share of
- 2:23Speaker 5: more and more of a share of you know. I
- 2:26Speaker 5: used to hear my mother say it to me all
- 2:28Speaker 5: the time. But God blesses you to become a blessing.
- 2:31Speaker 5: And I think the more you understand that about yourself,
- 2:34Speaker 5: I think the more blessings will.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Flow your way.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I think that once you understand the principle.
- 2:40Speaker 6: That you know.
- 2:42Speaker 2: But it's kind of tied together with some other scriptures.
- 2:44Speaker 5: And I'm not too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual,
- 2:48Speaker 5: but I do know what I've heard you know, and
- 2:52Speaker 5: you know if you look at something simple as do
- 2:54Speaker 5: unto others as you would have them do unto you,
- 2:58Speaker 5: wouldn't you want somebody to help you if you needed help.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I just know how to get it down there to
- 3:04Speaker 5: where I've been able to understand it. If there's a
- 3:08Speaker 5: scripture similar that it says do unto others as you
- 3:12Speaker 5: would have them do unto you, or if that's you know,
- 3:17Speaker 5: in a prayer, would not you want somebody to help
- 3:21Speaker 5: you if you needed help? You've heard you reap what
- 3:27Speaker 5: you sow? Do you understand that if you so discord,
- 3:33Speaker 5: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
- 3:37Speaker 5: hate gonna come your way. If you blog nothing but
- 3:41Speaker 5: negative comments about people, your life will be filled with negativity.
- 3:46Speaker 5: If all you do is talk about people, then guess
- 3:49Speaker 5: what somebody got to turn that gun around and talk
- 3:51Speaker 5: about you. See, it just stands to reason. So what
- 3:57Speaker 5: I've learned in my life and through all the trials
- 4:00Speaker 5: and tribulations that I've had, is to take those lessons
- 4:05Speaker 5: and share them with people in case you ain't heard
- 4:08Speaker 5: it from somebody else. See sometimes and the reason it
- 4:12Speaker 5: seems like I'm redundant at times. Is what I am
- 4:16Speaker 5: is because I'm always trying to find a different way
- 4:19Speaker 5: to say the same thing. Because it's a funny thing. Man,
- 4:22Speaker 5: you got to hear it a certain way for it
- 4:24Speaker 5: to click with you. How many times have I heard
- 4:30Speaker 5: a saying and then I heard it a different way
- 4:35Speaker 5: that it clicked with me? You know I've heard this
- 4:39Speaker 5: saying right here? Remember this now, everybody's not happy for you.
- 4:44Speaker 5: We've all heard that, right everybody's not happy for you. Well,
- 4:49Speaker 5: that's very simple. Yeah, I don't need no explanation. That
- 4:52Speaker 5: simply means of all the people you know or do
- 4:56Speaker 5: not know, when something happens to you and you celebrate,
- 5:00Speaker 5: everybody not gonna join in on the celebration.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That's all that is.
- 5:06Speaker 5: But then you take it one step further. My father
- 5:08Speaker 5: used to say something to me all the time. He said, son,
- 5:10Speaker 5: everybody come with you can't go with you. I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 5: get that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you
- 5:15Speaker 5: can't go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some
- 5:18Speaker 5: of these friends you got along the way. But I
- 5:21Speaker 5: don't care where you get in life. Know this right here,
- 5:25Speaker 5: everybody can't go with you if you are constantly trying
- 5:28Speaker 5: to improve yourself, You constantly have to take assessment of
- 5:32Speaker 5: the people around you, because if you are going to
- 5:35Speaker 5: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
- 5:39Speaker 5: you got to have people that's on the goal and
- 5:41Speaker 5: willing to grow, or else, guess what you're gonna learn
- 5:47Speaker 5: the valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
- 5:51Speaker 5: I was talking with Butcher Lewis one time, and man
- 5:55Speaker 5: with a good brother.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Man.
- 5:56Speaker 5: He say, every successful man is due on what I
- 6:00Speaker 5: call he got rope work to do. He got rope
- 6:03Speaker 5: work to do. He got to put in work on rope.
- 6:07Speaker 5: And I'm sitting there listening to Butch Lewis and all
- 6:10Speaker 5: the money he had made and all the people's lives
- 6:12Speaker 5: he had changed, and all of the moves he was making.
- 6:15Speaker 5: And he's an incredible skills as a negotiator on behalf
- 6:18Speaker 5: of some very very wealthy people. He was just an
- 6:21Speaker 5: amazing man with no education, but he read everything. He
- 6:25Speaker 5: Butch Lewis read all the papers, all the periodicals. That
- 6:29Speaker 5: brother knew everything. He said, you got to put in rope.
- 6:33Speaker 5: And I was sitting there listening. He said, here's the analogy,
- 6:36Speaker 5: little brother. He said, you are on rope. There's a
- 6:40Speaker 5: thick rope. You have on no shirt, you have on
- 6:44Speaker 5: some tattered clothes. You have on no shoes. Your shorts
- 6:48Speaker 5: is cut off just below the knee, and they tatted,
- 6:51Speaker 5: and you got dirt on you and your sweating. There's
- 6:54Speaker 5: this huge, huge raw rope over your shoulder. There's burn
- 6:59Speaker 5: marks on all the your shoulder. Connected to that rope
- 7:02Speaker 5: is a wagon. That wagon has all your weight on it,
- 7:07Speaker 5: all your responsibilities, all the people you're responsible for, all
- 7:11Speaker 5: your children, your wife, your family members, your employees, your coworkers,
- 7:18Speaker 5: your friends. They all on that wagon. Man, they just
- 7:22Speaker 5: sitting there. He's saying, what you gotta do is you
- 7:24Speaker 5: gotta pull that wagon up the heel.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Now.
- 7:27Speaker 5: The only thing with it is, can't nobody help you
- 7:29Speaker 5: pull your wagon? You pull your wagon alone.
- 7:34Speaker 3: He say.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Now, what you can do along the way of pulling
- 7:37Speaker 5: your wagon is you can find yourself a good wife,
- 7:40Speaker 5: a good woman.
- 7:41Speaker 2: He say.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Now, what that woman does is she get down off
- 7:44Speaker 5: the wagon. She fan you while you pull it. She
- 7:47Speaker 5: put water on you while you pull it. She puts
- 7:49Speaker 5: stuff in your mouth while you pull it. She kicked
- 7:52Speaker 5: rocks out the weight while you pull it, but she.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But she pull it for you.
- 7:56Speaker 5: But she is equally as important as you are on
- 7:59Speaker 5: the pull the rope. He say, you hear me clearly now,
- 8:02Speaker 5: young soldier, He said, nah, I get this here, He says,
- 8:05Speaker 5: people on your wagon that you're responsible for. But you
- 8:08Speaker 5: want the people on your wagon to help you get
- 8:12Speaker 5: your wagon to the top. So what you hope is
- 8:15Speaker 5: that they got their foot hanging over the side pushing,
- 8:18Speaker 5: They got one leg over the back, or maybe both
- 8:21Speaker 5: legs over the back pushing. They got they might have
- 8:24Speaker 5: their butt on the wagon, but they push you with
- 8:26Speaker 5: both legs, they back facing your back, maybe some of
- 8:29Speaker 5: them facing you when one of them got left leg
- 8:31Speaker 5: hanging over trying to push. And you hope that all
- 8:34Speaker 5: them people on the wagon you pulling is back there
- 8:37Speaker 5: at least trying to help the wagon get to the
- 8:39Speaker 5: top of the hill. He go, Your problem though, everybody
- 8:42Speaker 5: ain't pushing, Everybody ain't pulling. Ain't everybody ain't pulling, Everybody
- 8:47Speaker 5: ain't kicking rocks out the way. You got some people
- 8:50Speaker 5: on your wagon that's just laying on the wagon, drinking lemonade,
- 8:55Speaker 5: looking at you, talking about how long it's taking you
- 8:58Speaker 5: to get your wagon up to the top looking at you,
- 9:00Speaker 5: talking about why this wagon is so slow. Then when
- 9:03Speaker 5: you start picking up picking up speed, they want you
- 9:06Speaker 5: to pull harder, you to pull faster, you to pull more.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Then they want you to throw what you then earned
- 9:12Speaker 5: on the way up the hill backed on the wagon
- 9:14Speaker 5: so they can have MO. But guess what, they ain't
- 9:17Speaker 5: helping you get more. But they got a sense of
- 9:19Speaker 5: entitlement that since you've got MO, they should have MO.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Everybody come with you can't go with you. Sometimes you
- 9:27Speaker 5: gotta kick the people off the wagon that ain't pushing
- 9:29Speaker 5: and pull it and say, hey, man, I'm sorry. I
- 9:32Speaker 5: thought I could do this with you, and I thought
- 9:34Speaker 5: you was going with me. But it's clear to me
- 9:36Speaker 5: you ain't nothing but dead weight. And it ain't my
- 9:39Speaker 5: responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried you
- 9:42Speaker 5: as long as I have to carry you. You are
- 9:45Speaker 5: no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family, my wife,
- 9:49Speaker 5: my children. I'm not responsible for you. You got to
- 9:52Speaker 5: get off my wagon because I'm a man on rope.
- 9:55Speaker 5: I'm on a mission, baby, I'm pulling.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening into the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, Today is a new day. Get your
- 10:08Speaker 5: mind right, get yourself together. Today is the day that
- 10:12Speaker 5: the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad
- 10:15Speaker 5: in it. Man, oh man, oh man. You listen to me, y'all.
- 10:21Speaker 5: If you can't do nothing, if you can't think of
- 10:25Speaker 5: nothing else to do.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Here is my suggestion. Just be grateful.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Just be grateful for all He's done for you and
- 10:35Speaker 5: all he's brought you through. Now you might be still
- 10:38Speaker 5: tripping on a few things got you, but Lord have mercy.
- 10:44Speaker 5: The stuff he'dne brought you through and the stuff he'd
- 10:48Speaker 5: haven't done for you. It's pretty.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's immense.
- 10:55Speaker 5: That's a word you've never heard me say before. That's
- 10:59Speaker 5: another thing I'm working on in twenty twenty six. I'm
- 11:01Speaker 5: going to attempt to increase my vocabulary. That might not
- 11:08Speaker 5: mean much to y'all, but it would be major for
- 11:13Speaker 5: me to increase my vocabulary because it's been very limited
- 11:17Speaker 5: over the years. I admit it. I let admit it.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I admit it, Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Steve
- 11:24Speaker 5: Harvey Morter Show. Shelley Strawberry Calling for Real Mississippi, Monica Junior,
- 11:29Speaker 5: and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junior, y'all, what's on
- 11:33Speaker 5: your mind today?
- 11:34Speaker 7: Man?
- 11:34Speaker 5: Got your head on forward today? Had it on back
- 11:37Speaker 5: with yesterday. You done picked up the pace a little bit.
- 11:39Speaker 5: You're feeling better, Go ahead here.
- 11:43Speaker 8: I don't feel like I could understand you picking up
- 11:46Speaker 8: your vocabulary because I probably wouldn't undermand Timmy wouldn't understand you.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You like, we need you to keep the way you
- 11:52Speaker 2: were talking.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Like Tommy got a degree, show first black person graduated
- 12:02Speaker 5: from theater.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm semi quincentendan You what semi quint centendon? I just
- 12:10Speaker 2: looked it up. I don't know what it is.
- 12:11Speaker 6: I just.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Well, the key word in there that I picked up
- 12:15Speaker 5: on was semi So I'm pretty sure that's going to
- 12:20Speaker 5: keep you semi Yeah. I don't know what the rest
- 12:25Speaker 5: of that he is, but I'm pretty show you ain't
- 12:28Speaker 5: all love it?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Can you talk about this?
- 12:33Speaker 8: Can you talk about and make us understand this what
- 12:36Speaker 8: it's like if we don't be grateful, If you can't
- 12:39Speaker 8: understand how I'm potant being grateful is when we wake.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Up in the morning.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Well, he's well, here's the deal. If you go next door.
- 12:48Speaker 5: I've used this analogy before and and you ask somebody
- 12:54Speaker 5: to borrow let's just say, you know, five dollars, I'm
- 12:58Speaker 5: on hard times, and they give it to you, and
- 13:00Speaker 5: you take the five dollars and say, man, I'm gonna
- 13:02Speaker 5: do the right thing with this, and you gonna handle
- 13:04Speaker 5: your bitsin's. Then a week lady, you need five again,
- 13:06Speaker 5: and you go back in there and you say, hey, man,
- 13:08Speaker 5: can a ball five dollars again? I know I just
- 13:11Speaker 5: got it from you, man, but I'm in a trap again.
- 13:14Speaker 5: And then he had it to you, and then you
- 13:16Speaker 5: just take it and walk it away. How many times
- 13:18Speaker 5: you think you can go to that man and ask
- 13:20Speaker 5: for five dollars without saying thank you?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:25Speaker 5: Now, the way it work with God is real simple
- 13:27Speaker 5: is if you don't thank God, he assume you don't
- 13:30Speaker 5: really need it or appreciate it, so he might just
- 13:33Speaker 5: quit giving it to you.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I can't take that chance.
- 13:37Speaker 9: Amen to that, all right, guys, coming up at thirty
- 13:40Speaker 9: two minutes after the hour, we're gonna run that prank
- 13:43Speaker 9: back with the nephew.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:52Speaker 9: It's a new year, and to leave us here to
- 13:55Speaker 9: help you keep your new year's resolutions. On track, whether
- 13:58Speaker 9: it's a daily walker, spending time with friends and family.
- 14:01Speaker 9: A leave's got your back with up to twelve hours
- 14:04Speaker 9: of body pain relief per dose. A leave keeps you
- 14:07Speaker 9: moving with long lasting body pain relief so you can
- 14:10Speaker 9: achieve your goals. Don't let body pain slow you down.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Keep going with the leave because this year is your year.
- 14:16Speaker 9: Use as directed for minor aches and pains. It is

- 14:35Speaker 10: When you get to the gym and you use the equipment,
- 14:37Speaker 10: we would like for you to wipe the equipment down. Okay,
- 14:40Speaker 10: all right, you can brought your little nancy behind and
- 14:42Speaker 10: then you can work that. Now you're sweating, only now

- 15:15Speaker 7: they give you my number? You work at the gym? No,

- 15:40Speaker 7: I don't know who his name? My name is Chams.
- 15:41Speaker 7: I didn't tell you three times who I am. So
- 15:44Speaker 7: what I'm telling you is this is that you know
- 15:46Speaker 7: you come to the gym. Matter of fact, how long
- 15:49Speaker 7: you been coming to the gym? Man, I've been going
- 15:52Speaker 7: to that gym for like five ten years, brou five
- 15:55Speaker 7: ten years. That's a biggy camp. Okay, So anyway, the

- 17:46Speaker 7: Are you gonna watch it before you get here? Yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 7: I'm gonna watch something. I'm gonna watch my foot up
- 17:50Speaker 7: your when I get there. That's what I'm gonna watch. Okay, okay, cool,

- 18:02Speaker 7: I got it. No, I'm just letting them know. I'm
- 18:05Speaker 7: just letting know. No, somebody had to tell it. Who

- 18:10Speaker 7: don't even worry about it. No, she would help that.
- 18:12Speaker 7: I got something to say that. Want to forgive it out?
- 18:15Speaker 7: You ain't fin to say that. She hasn't been vocuing

- 27:32Speaker 9: Still that's a true story.
- 27:35Speaker 5: I had a partner. Mama made him go to the

- 29:07Speaker 9: He feel like the woman in our relationship if I
- 29:10Speaker 9: ever pulled my gun out to defend us. I don't

- 30:26Speaker 1: thank you.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Colo.
- 30:27Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:29Speaker 9: some entertainment news and some training headlines right after this.
- 30:33Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. A woman that is.
- 30:41Speaker 9: Dead after a Federal Immigration Agent ICE agent opened fire
- 30:45Speaker 9: on her inside a vehicle in Minneapolis yesterday morning. The
- 30:49Speaker 9: Department of Homeland Security says agents were conducting targeted operations
- 30:54Speaker 9: when protesters started blocking them. One of the protesters, a
- 30:58Speaker 9: thirty seven year old woman inside, and SUV allegedly tried
- 31:02Speaker 9: to ram her vehicle into the officers, prompting an officer
- 31:05Speaker 9: to open fire, fatally striking the woman. Some witness accounts,
- 31:09Speaker 9: local officials, and video of the incident appeared to dispute
- 31:14Speaker 9: the DHS narrative. More than two thousand federal immigration agents
- 31:19Speaker 9: were recently sent to Minnesota to crack down on illegal immigration.
- 31:23Speaker 9: Governor Tim Waltz has urged Minnesotas to remain calm as
- 31:28Speaker 9: the investigation continues. Meanwhile, protests have grown throughout the morning yesterday.
- 31:34Speaker 9: Some demonstrators through snowballs at ICE agents, and law enforcement
- 31:39Speaker 9: responded with tear gas and pepper spray. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob
- 31:44Speaker 9: fray Or Fry said in a statement, the presence of
- 31:48Speaker 9: federal immigration enforcement agents is causing chaos in our city.
- 31:52Speaker 9: We're demanding ICE to leave the city immediately. We stand
- 31:56Speaker 9: rock solid with our immigrant and refugee communities.
- 32:00Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 32:00Speaker 5: They sent the ICE agents to Minnesota to deal and
- 32:05Speaker 5: back up Trump's allegations about the Somalians.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Uh huh, that's all this is, man, Yeah, really, this
- 32:14Speaker 1: is really sad.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Man.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Everybody should be just should be outraged by this. Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 1: he still has a big cheering squad, No matter what
- 32:25Speaker 1: he does, he could, he.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Gets, he gets anything, I'm telling you, man, And there's
- 32:32Speaker 5: no uproar from the right. There is no uproar, no
- 32:37Speaker 5: checking balance, no accountability. The megabase has the political party
- 32:46Speaker 5: hijacked in that if you don't go along with him,
- 32:49Speaker 5: we we you're not gonna be in power or position anymore.
- 32:53Speaker 2: And it's just as simple as that. And that's what
- 32:55Speaker 2: we have here, man.
- 32:57Speaker 5: And that's really really a sad thing because this country
- 32:59Speaker 5: steer should operate off that constitution that they wrote. M hm,
- 33:05Speaker 5: the one that they talked so much about. Yeah, that
- 33:09Speaker 5: constitution they're willing to man. I knew we was in
- 33:13Speaker 5: trouble when they were willing to not go by that
- 33:17Speaker 5: no more.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's called do your own thing now.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Dude over here talking about we're gonna take over Greenley. Oh,
- 33:26Speaker 5: we're gonna eat, We're gonna buy it.
- 33:32Speaker 1: You can't judge your dog food is going on?
- 33:36Speaker 2: They must have or something too.
- 33:38Speaker 9: What was happening, Yeah, all right, switching gears and entertainment news.
- 33:43Speaker 9: Nick Reiner made no plea Wednesday in a Los Angeles
- 33:47Speaker 9: courtroom where he was expected to be arraigned on murder
- 33:50Speaker 9: charges in connection with the fatal stabbing of his parents,
- 33:54Speaker 9: Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Reiner. Instead,
- 33:58Speaker 9: Reiner's high profile attorney, Alan Jackson, asked the judges' permission
- 34:02Speaker 9: to withdraw as counsel, and the public defender took over,
- 34:05Speaker 9: asking for a later arraignment date. Thirty two year old's
- 34:08Speaker 9: arraignment is now set for February twenty third. Nick Reiner
- 34:12Speaker 9: is charged with two counts of first degree murder in
- 34:14Speaker 9: connection with the fatal stabbing of his parents' last month.
- 34:18Speaker 2: He killed them.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Lord.
- 34:21Speaker 5: The reason when your high priced lawyer walk away is
- 34:24Speaker 5: cause y'all had talked. Okay, now when we get in here,
- 34:29Speaker 5: what's gonna be your plea? We're gonna say, We're gonna
- 34:31Speaker 5: say not guilty. Oh, We're gonna say guilty by reason
- 34:34Speaker 5: of insanity. We're gonna and well we're ready set go Okay,
- 34:39Speaker 5: Rob or how do you plead rob it?
- 34:41Speaker 3: You mean Nick?
- 34:42Speaker 2: Nick? Our system is crazy anyway, this is terrible.
- 34:46Speaker 3: He did it, killed you, He did it.
- 34:50Speaker 2: He killed his mom and his dad. We've really not
- 34:53Speaker 2: had no trial.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well they're going. I'm sure his defense will
- 34:58Speaker 1: be mental illness and it has to be. It has
- 35:02Speaker 1: to be. Yeah, yeah, because you have to beat.
- 35:06Speaker 5: I'm trying to think of one black person that I've
- 35:11Speaker 5: heard of that used that and it worked.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Insanity, Yeah, guilty reason.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I ain't seen one.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. That's really well. Yeah, it's just.
- 35:25Speaker 5: He's gonna be talking about how he got beat as
- 35:28Speaker 5: a child and they whooped him, and yeah.
- 35:32Speaker 1: This is horrible. It's really horrible. It's so shocking. It
- 35:36Speaker 1: was so shocking to hear. All Right, switching gears. Now

- 39:35Speaker 1: tell me family.
- 39:37Speaker 9: It has my dear sweet late mom who pointed that out.
- 39:41Speaker 9: Remember she's like, when Tommy works on Sunday, he does
- 39:45Speaker 9: he can't make it to work on Monday. Yeah you
- 39:51Speaker 9: know what, Mom, You're right? Yeah, so you don't have.

- 40:10Speaker 5: you he you know how hard you must have been
- 40:13Speaker 5: hoping for that.
- 40:15Speaker 9: Now, Steve, you always say if you're sick. Don't take
- 40:18Speaker 9: those days off. Take days off when you're not sick,
- 40:21Speaker 9: but sick.
- 40:23Speaker 5: Day when you sick. Wait a minute, you don't take
- 40:30Speaker 5: a sick day.

- 50:53Speaker 7: They are complaining, saying that that the church Vand was
- 50:57Speaker 7: spending like weed when they got on that. Excuse me,

- 51:24Speaker 13: I mean I have before, but I don't smoke weed now,
- 51:26Speaker 13: and I would smoke weed before picking some people up
- 51:29Speaker 13: to go to.

- 51:44Speaker 6: See this just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 51:46Speaker 13: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 51:49Speaker 13: last week they came in me talking about that I
- 51:52Speaker 13: was using the van to go places that I wanted
- 51:54Speaker 13: to go to on my personal time.
- 51:55Speaker 6: Now, I don't do that.
- 51:56Speaker 13: I don't do stuff like that now I have had
- 51:58Speaker 13: a past. I had a history, but I don't do
- 52:00Speaker 13: stuff like that and I wouldn't smoke.
- 52:02Speaker 6: A no church van. So are you seriously.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Talking to what we're trying to We're trying to get

- 52:16Speaker 7: I don't know?
- 52:16Speaker 13: They love me every Sunday then people tell me they
- 52:19Speaker 13: love me. They say I'm one of the most respectful
- 52:21Speaker 13: young gentlemen they've ever met in their life. And so
- 52:23Speaker 13: I really find that hard to believe that you get
- 52:26Speaker 13: these type of complaints about me.
- 52:28Speaker 7: Okay, what I'm saying, see like who we I don't
- 52:31Speaker 7: know what that means or nothing like that.
- 52:33Speaker 6: Look, brother, I.
- 52:35Speaker 13: Don't know you too well, and I know you don't
- 52:37Speaker 13: know me. But I've been driving this vans as a
- 52:40Speaker 13: point to try to change my life and where I
- 52:42Speaker 13: come from. So this was something that I wanted to
- 52:45Speaker 13: volunteer even though I'm getting paid to give my.
- 52:47Speaker 6: Time to do this for the church.
- 52:49Speaker 13: And now this is like the second instance where y'all
- 52:51Speaker 13: and came at me on some stuff about like I'm
- 52:54Speaker 13: trying to do something with this vand now why would
- 52:56Speaker 13: I disrespect the church van by smoking weed in it
- 52:59Speaker 13: and then.
- 52:59Speaker 6: Letting the weed staying there so other people could slill it?
- 53:02Speaker 7: Okay, so let me tell you what we're gonna do.

- 53:07Speaker 7: we're gonna go out here today and open it up. Now,
- 53:09Speaker 7: if we see any seeds or anything around the driver

- 53:22Speaker 13: to that church, my grandma, see, go to that church.
- 53:25Speaker 13: See the reason we even all left that church. And
- 53:27Speaker 13: you think I'm gonna mess up they name by driving
- 53:30Speaker 13: around in the band full of elderly people.
- 53:34Speaker 7: Smell like weed dead. I don't know why such band smell.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Like weed, man, Now I don't.

- 53:46Speaker 7: there with just smell it?
- 53:47Speaker 6: I ain't had no weed on me.
- 53:49Speaker 13: Stop trying to say like I had weed on and
- 53:51Speaker 13: you ain't gonna give me nothing'd no, and we ain't
- 53:54Speaker 13: had no weed on me. Okay, Now, you ain't gonna
- 53:56Speaker 13: mess up my name or my family's name in this
- 53:58Speaker 13: church and disrespect us like this. Now, We've been helping
- 54:01Speaker 13: this church for years, and I'm trying to tell you
- 54:03Speaker 13: that I ain't riding around in no band, smoking no
- 54:06Speaker 13: weed with no elderly people.
- 54:07Speaker 6: Did you ask any of the elderly people if they
- 54:09Speaker 6: had any weed on them? No?
- 54:12Speaker 7: No, no, I didn't think about no people having no weed.
- 54:17Speaker 6: So you just assume it's me what one of them got,

- 54:24Speaker 12: Who?
- 54:24Speaker 7: I think?
- 54:24Speaker 6: What?
- 54:25Speaker 7: Did you know? Who I think the weed belonged to?

- 56:49Speaker 3: Here.
- 56:49Speaker 2: It is strawberry letter.
- 56:52Speaker 9: Thank your nephew. Subject to double standards are a thing
- 56:55Speaker 9: of the past. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for
- 56:59Speaker 9: eight years and I have a girlfriend that I've been
- 57:01Speaker 9: with for the past three years. My wife has a girlfriend,
- 57:05Speaker 9: and I told her that it's still cheating even if
- 57:08Speaker 9: it is a woman. She expected me to accept it
- 57:10Speaker 9: and think it was cool, but I can see that
- 57:13Speaker 9: she's really in love with the woman. We never talk
- 57:15Speaker 9: about my girlfriend, but I'm sure she knows that I
- 57:18Speaker 9: have someone on the side. To add to the madness
- 57:21Speaker 9: of our marriage, my wife's younger sister has moved in
- 57:25Speaker 9: with us. She's only eight She's only eighteen, and she
- 57:30Speaker 9: was sent to live with us after her dad walked
- 57:32Speaker 9: in on her in his house with a grown man.
- 57:36Speaker 9: I kept my father in law from busting her head.
- 57:39Speaker 9: Now that she's living in my house, it's hard to
- 57:41Speaker 9: talk to her about morals because she can see her
- 57:44Speaker 9: sister's relationship with the woman, and she's seen me out
- 57:48Speaker 9: with my girlfriend before. She's still talking to the older man,
- 57:51Speaker 9: and I told her that man better not come to
- 57:54Speaker 9: my house. She's also seeing a guy that she works with.
- 57:57Speaker 9: She tells me everything because she considered me the saane
- 58:01Speaker 9: grown up in the house.
- 58:03Speaker 1: This morning, she.
- 58:04Speaker 9: Told me that she's interested in a girl she works with,
- 58:07Speaker 9: but she can't pursue the girl because she's dating the
- 58:09Speaker 9: girl's boyfriend. It's a mind blowing It's just mind blowing
- 58:14Speaker 9: talking to her because she has no boundaries. I talked
- 58:17Speaker 9: to her about double standards and having a bad reputation.
- 58:20Speaker 9: My wife overheard our conversation and came into the kitchen
- 58:23Speaker 9: with a lot of bad advice. She told her sister
- 58:26Speaker 9: that double standards are a thing of the past. I
- 58:29Speaker 9: wanted to curse her out. It's her bad example that's
- 58:32Speaker 9: making her sister think she can sleep with whoever she
- 58:34Speaker 9: wants to do. I send this girl back to her
- 58:37Speaker 9: dad's house, or keep trying to help. Well, first of all,
- 58:40Speaker 9: of course, your wife is wrong. Double standards are alive,
- 58:45Speaker 9: and well, okay, there's no way of getting around that.
- 58:49Speaker 9: Men and women just have different rules and how they move. Okay,
- 58:53Speaker 9: And I think her father handled this situation all wrong.
- 58:56Speaker 9: I mean, you, as the brother in law, had good
- 59:00Speaker 9: intentions of taking the sister in, but you can't protect
- 59:04Speaker 9: her from herself. Whatever you're doing is not working, and
- 59:08Speaker 9: you and your wife are just horrible examples.
- 59:11Speaker 3: The thing is.
- 59:13Speaker 9: Is that she's grown now, she's eighteen, and she's not
- 59:16Speaker 9: equipped to handle herself in this real world. She should
- 59:19Speaker 9: have gotten that lesson from her father, but he contributed zero.
- 59:22Speaker 9: I mean he wanted to bust her head, you said,
- 59:25Speaker 9: and now under your roof, she's still learned nothing. We
- 59:28Speaker 9: all know that young people respond to what they see,
- 59:31Speaker 9: not what you say to them. This girl has no values,
- 59:34Speaker 9: no morals, no concept of right and wrong, loyalty, no
- 59:38Speaker 9: self respect. But she doesn't know any better. The adults
- 59:42Speaker 9: in her life do know better, and no one's teaching
- 59:47Speaker 9: her anything. And here's a question, why are you and
- 59:51Speaker 9: your wife still married? I mean, where's the love here?
- 59:53Speaker 9: Except for the people that you both are cheating with.
- 59:56Speaker 9: This eighteen year old needs some real attention, some real
- 59:59Speaker 9: help and guidance so she can learn about self esteem, self.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Love, and just learn about her value.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: Steve, I'm I'm so tripped out with this letter right here,
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: it's something is something in every line of this letter.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: First of all, let's start with the beginning. Double standards
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: are a thing of the past. That shouldn't even be
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: the title. The tie to this letter is morals are
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: a thing of the past. This every line in here
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: is any immral issue that we some of us, have
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: to unpack now.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: But okay, now I'm gonna get in trouble for some
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: of this.
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: But here we go. Did Stevens Shell I've been married
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: for eight years. I have a girlfriend that I've been
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: with for the past three years. You know, you just
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: throw this out there like you know, y'all just be
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: y'all be typing these letters man like this regular y'all. Y'all,
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: y'all be normalizing this crazy mess man, and then you
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: send it to us. And I'm nothing to do this
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: in twenty twenty six, y'all nothing to wear me with
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: this type of letter right here.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: This is crazy.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: I've been married for eight years, I have a girlfriend
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: that I've been with for the past three years. And
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: then here we go.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: My wife has a girlfriend and I told her that
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: that's still cheating.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: What man?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: What this letter right here? Just I'm married for eight years.
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: I had a girlfriend for three, my wife got a
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: girlfriend two and I told her that's still cheating. When
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: did she tell you it wasn't. I'm so confused here.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I told her that's still cheating if it even if
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: it is a woman. What your wife got a woman?
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: What she expected me to accept it and think it
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: was cool?
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: How?
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: How?
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: How did she expect you to accept that I'm chipping
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: because man, this letter.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Crazy and expect you to accept it and think it
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: was cool?
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Now, hold up, didn't. But I can see that she
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: really in love with the woman.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You can see that.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: We never talk about my girlfriend.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Dog.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: None of us can talk about our girlfriend if we
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: got one dog. You throwing this information out like you
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: got some surprise. We never talk about my girlfriend. None
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: of us can talk about our girlfriend. But if you're
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: talking about men and you the road, that messying to
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: me and Shirley. It's too early in the year for this.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: But I'm sure that she knows I have someone.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: On the side.
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: I can't even say that. I'm sure my wife. No,
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: I got somebody on the side and we still living.
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, all right. I need you to take a
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: break and breathe and calm down. Okay, we have a
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: part too coming up.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: Then the White's younger sister that moved in with him
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: and she got sent to live with her because that
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: daddy caught her to bed with the old man.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Where we going with? Isn't that it right?
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: Hey, it's Carla Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.

- 1:03:54Speaker 9: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: is double standards are a thing of the PA asked.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Let's change the name of this letter to morals are
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: a thing of the past, and listen to this here sugar, honey,
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: ice teeth.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: All right, here we go.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: This man been married for eight years, got a girlfriend
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: that he didne had for three years, But his wife
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: got a girlfriend too that she's been cheating with, even
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: if it is a woman. What do you know how
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: much is in that statement? Do you know how much
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: is packed in there? I'm married, I got a girlfriend
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: for three years, and my wife got a girlfriend too,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: and it's a woman.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: And I told her, I told her that's cheating even
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: if it is a woman.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: When did you find out what? She expected me to
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: accept it and think it was cool. How what type
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: of person are you where your wife can bring you
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: this information and she thinks it's cool. Then he said,
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: but I and see she really in love with the woman?
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: Did he We never talk about my girlfriend?
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Boy? Stop man, old love dog? Did you just say
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: we never talk about my girlfriend?
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: That's the one that got you?
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: That?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: That really just like that?
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: We none of us, No married man can talk about
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: their girlfriend?
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: What? What?
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: What?
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: How does.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: We shouldn't even say? But man, but I'm sure she
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: knows that I have someone on the side. Why because
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: you cool with the wife with the girlfriend. To add
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: to the madness of our marriage. My wife's younger sister
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: had to move in with hers. She only eighteen. She
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: was sent to live with us because her dad walked
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: in under in his house. She was with a grown man.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: I kept my father in law from busting her head.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: Now she living in my house, and it's hard to
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: talk to her about mores because she can see her
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: sister's relationship with a woman. And she's seen me out
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: with my girlfriend before. Horrible, You got that right. You
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: can't say nothing to her because she done seen your
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: wife with hug girlfriend and then seeing you out with
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: show girlfriend. And she's still talking to the older man.
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: And I told her that that man better not come
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: to my house. Oh, now you got some rules now.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: Oh I don't know where that rule came from, but
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: thank you. Hey man, I'm like that. That's one of
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: my favorite dudes on the internet. Hey y'all, look at
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: this here. The dude they poor folks. That's my cat.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: I ought to send this letter to him. Hey y'all,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: look at this here and read this ignorant letter right here.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: And now you met.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: You done told her she's seeing the older man, and
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: you told her he better not bring her to your house.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: But then she's also seeing a guy that.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: She works with and she wants to see.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: She tells me everything because she considers me the same
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: grown up in the house.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Bor.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: She ain't got no options for moraleity, You the same
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: one in the house. This morning she told me that
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: she's interested in a girl that she worked with, but
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: but she can't pursue the girl because she dating the
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: girl's boyfriend. All y'all going to hell. All y'all, everybody,
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: just hold yetta go here. You're a matter of fact man.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Why don't all y'all go the same church? I did
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: write that letter in all y'all should go to the
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: same church. That's the only thing that was the only
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: thing that could make this even mold. If you just
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: say and we all go to the same church, that's
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: all she could say. It's a mind blowing talking to
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: her because she has no boundaries.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Wait a minute, hold.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Of don't she ain't got no boundary, none of you.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: You ain't got no boundaries. Your wife ain't got no boundaries.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: Where is she boundaries.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: That y'all don't have that.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: All y'all in the same house, and all y'all like
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: everybody right, boys, girls, girls, girls, girls, got boys like
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: another girl. Hey man, hey, hey, hey, now listen, that's
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: listen you. You're free to do what you want to do.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: That just ain't my thing.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: So how you want me to? How you want me to?
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: And then two of y'all married, So y'all, y'all compounded
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: the problem. So I look, okay, now, let's go over ahead.
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: Then you was trying to tell her about double standards
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: and having a bad reputation. My wife overheard our conversation
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: came into the kitchen with a lot of bad advice.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: She told her sister that double standards are a thing
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: of the past. I wanted to cuss her out, but
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: she didn't because all she did was go over to
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: her girlfriend's house. So when you when you start cussing
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: her out, when because obviously it's her bad example that's
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: making her sister thinks she can sleep with whoever she
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: wants to. I don't know why y'all wrote me in Shirley,
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: but it's too early in the year for this. And
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: let me make my statement for twenty twenty six.
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: What is it?
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Steve, I don't care?

- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Oh Man, another head coach in the NFL and lost
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: their job. They fired them. Man, it's that kicker, Tommy
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: is that kicker we have?
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: We lost John Harbaugh, he lowed They fired him eighteen
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: years man the second longest ten and behind Mike Thomas
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: at one giant.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Man, you understand how good that is for him. Yeah, yeah, brud.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Do you know he's gonna be one of the most
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: sought after, highest paid coaches in the league.
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: Absolutely absolutely he got and he got a Super Bowl too,
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, New York looking at him pretty much everybody
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: pretty much he got called when he got fired from
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: all of them.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Clear.
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: But you know, man, but when we find uh, hey, man, amen,
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: we fined Stefanski when we fired him. He's highly sought after.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: He he ain't a bad coach, he just can't coach
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: us no more. Now, all of the all of the
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: sports shows is said, Cleveland is not the ideal place
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: to go for one of these highly sought after coaches
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: because they don't have a quarterback. But they never gave
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: Shuedule a fair shot in the beginning. And the Brown's
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: got a lot of draft choices. Man, you know, I

- 1:12:46Speaker 2: college football playoffs.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: Have you been watching it?
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Because it's game to night and tomorrow it's game tonight?
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: Man, Miami, Old Miss day the night and Oregon Indiana
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: is tomorrow.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: I just can't pull for old Miss Miss stand for Mississippi.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: I just can't.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: It's look, I just cannot. What is it about Old
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Miss You can't root for us?
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: It's Mississippi. I just can't Mississippi burning. It's the Freedom
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: rise and dead down.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I just can't. I can't.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: I just can't forgive the state. I love the people
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: in Mississippi about give the stamp. I love Monica, I
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: love Jackson State, I love the Sonic Boom, I love
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: Pole Mississippi. I just cannot forgive the state. A lot
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: of them people still living and until they die. I
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: cannot support anything with this sip on it. The only
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: reason I like Jackson State is because it don't say
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: Mississippi State.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: We won't ask you about Mississippi no more.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: All right, junior, thank you. I'm coming up at the
- 1:13:53Speaker 9: top of the hour. Woman on social media needs some advice.
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: She says, how do I stop being so sensitive? We'll
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: talk about it, all is, oh miss, you're listening to
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. KK on Steve HARVEYFM. Says,
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: I've always taken things to heart, but lately it feels
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: like even small instances where people are inconsiderate or rude
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: completely derail me. If someone is kurt, dismissive, or slightly unkind,
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: I'll repay it, replay it in my head for days,
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: and let it change my mood for a lot longer
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: than it should. Recently, a very brief but unpleasant interaction
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: with a customer service rep online stuck with me all day,
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: even though I know it shouldn't have. It just shouldn't
- 1:14:43Speaker 9: have mattered that much. I want to be able to
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: brush things off and not give strangers so much power
- 1:14:48Speaker 9: over how I feel. Here's a question from KK. How
- 1:14:52Speaker 9: do people learn to stop internalizing every negative interaction when
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: they're naturally sensitive?
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: What what I would suggest? You probably not gonna be
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: able to do. I'll give it right back to you soon.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: If you get it to me. I'm not gonna be
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: the only one having to replay everything. We all gonna
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: have MEMORYX button on this altercation right here, you on line?
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: So for instance, yeah, for instance, what do you want, sir?
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Hurry up? I got other calls on the line.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: No, what the hell you want? You got other calls
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: on the line, like you ain't the only one could
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: talk to him?
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: Then click?
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, how about anybody else?
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: You feel better?
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Sir?
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Sir, you can't bring this back. You don't have a receipt,
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: and so I need to help. Who's next in line?
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: Next?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: It's back, but it's back though, tell all this what
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: I can't. You can't bring this back here? It is
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: right here. Now, let's get to getting this refund out here.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: We don't do refunds, sir, We just do Reddit.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Yeah you know, no, no, no, you didn't take the supervisor?
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Is that supervisor?
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: I like it?
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Tom who you're talking? Supervisor? I can talk to, But
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: I am the supervisor. Put you in jud Wait, it's
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: other stoves, you know. Make this your last.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Time to this.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Hen So you was just giving right back and just
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: going by that that.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: Way, you you can see when you replay that you you.
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: You get to replace what you said to them?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: What junior? Yeah, here we go.
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: Let me.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: I'm just gonna say this.
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: I don't know how to hide you because your attitude
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: is real stake in here, that's what that's what's really on.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: I know it is.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: I know it is, and I stunk it on you.
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: Not now what you're gonna do about that?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: What you need little man customer service? Yeah, so that's how.
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: That's how she stops internalizing every negative interaction.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: And that's why I told you that she's not gonna
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: do that. So I can't help her.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: No, can't she just ignore it though? Just ignore it
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: behaving you're rude.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: I'm not gonna leave hip because I can't.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: Ignore all right?
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: What? Oh? All right?
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: We have time for another one quickly.
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: Shelle on Steve Harvey f m H says, my boyfriend
- 1:17:48Speaker 9: is really jealous and it's always accusing me of cheating,
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: even though I've never done anything to give him a
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: reason to think that. He'll question where I've been read
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: way too much into totally normal interactions and stuff arguments
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: over small stuff. I'm constantly having to defend myself and
- 1:18:04Speaker 9: it's getting exhausting. I wonder if this is just as insecurity.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: But another part of me words is projection, and he's
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: the one cheating although I've never accused him, Is it
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: unreasonable for me to expect this to ever change.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: No, If if you.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Don't train a person how to treat you, he will
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: treat you how you allow him to. So if you
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: don't do that, if you don't put on some boundaries,
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: he gonna keep doing what he's doing. He could be
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: right about the second part. It could be him in security,
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: but you know, or he's cheating.
- 1:18:40Speaker 9: Well, yeah, thank you, yeah, yeah, all right, all right,
- 1:18:46Speaker 9: thank you. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: up at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening

- 1:19:13Speaker 9: but was later captured. Authorities believe he was stolen from
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: a nearby farm. Wow yeah, from a nearby.

- 1:20:03Speaker 1: he was later captured. They said, yeah, that is funny.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: But yeah, but.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Might not have been a monkey? Hold all they show
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: about that.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: No, they're sure it was a monkey.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Yeah you think, Oh no, a monkey broke in the stone.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, damage several instruments.

- 1:21:16Speaker 9: live a long, boring life or would you rather live
- 1:21:20Speaker 9: a short, meaningful life?
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Which one?
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: As you approach your birthday? Steve, Oh, I'm gonna go
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: with a just want to be here? Yeah? Long and boring,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Yeah and boring.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: But we're here.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: We hid all right?
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: This boring though?
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: Would you would you rather do plank for five minutes
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: or cold plunge for seven minutes?
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: Huh?
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Plank for five minutes. I'm gonna take the plate.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Okay, plank see if you cold plunge a lot one.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: I've done eight minutes in the cold.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Okay, So you could do the cold plunge. Oh, Junior,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: can't though I can.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: I'm not even know. That's why I said I can't
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: do that.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, Junior, because once.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: I unplunged, we going somewhere else.
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: So as I unplunge, unplunge. All right, guys, would you
- 1:22:22Speaker 9: rather have a personal chef or would you rather have
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: a personal driver?
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Looking at me? Wants the driver, Steve. We're waiting, so
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: come on the air, Come on, come on you let
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: me let me think. Come on, if you had to choose. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: think back.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Uh, come on, I'd rather have the driver.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Me too, Me too, Junior, I'm gonna have a shift. Okay,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: you could drive yourself. Okay, I'll do that, all right,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: all right.
- 1:23:14Speaker 9: Would you rather be a coach at the Super Bowl
- 1:23:16Speaker 9: game or would you rather, uh be a coach at
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: the NBA Finals game?
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Which one? I'll be NBA Finals? Yeah, not the Super Bowl.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'd rather be the basketball coach. I don't
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: have no football players.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Oh okay, So, and you know how to coach national basketball?
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Well, it's easy enough. They ain't doing nothing but shooting threes.
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: Oh hey, man, do you when the last time you've
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: seen a post up play ran in the NBA game
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: when they dumping into the big man and then somebody
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: cutting and he dumping off to him.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: When the last time you seen nothing? You don't see that.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: It's really not that enjoyable to watch, unless I'm watching
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: Golden State, because when you watch STEPF. Curry, you see
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: somebody who really has the business of shooting a three,
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: and I don't like that. Now they do all these
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: little symbols when they hit the three, like holding up
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: the little three.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Fans and calm man.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Whatever the game has changed?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Huh yeah, eight.
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: Feet tall, show it under the basket.
- 1:24:27Speaker 9: Right, let's this round and would you rather coming up next?

- 1:25:22Speaker 9: who listens to us every morning.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: We certainly appreciate it. We love you guys so much.
- 1:25:26Speaker 9: Junior, year after your year, year after year, Yes signing
- 1:25:31Speaker 9: with us, right, they do?
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: Sure?
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: So let me ask you something you know you about
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: to be sixty nine. But I just noticed something, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: how do you maintain your integrity? With your integrity when
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: all your peers be talking about you, colleagues, Internet be
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: talking about you. How do you maintain your integrity even
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: when it's hard?
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: Well, them talking about me has nothing to do with
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: my integrity. See, my truth is my truth. What you
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: say about me has nothing to do with that. What
- 1:26:03Speaker 5: you print about me, the story you come up with me,
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: has nothing to do with that. My integrity is that
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: that's a story online right now. Me and Marjorie getting
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: a divorce. That's the furthest thing from the truth. Me
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: and my girl good Man, Man, we still laugh, we
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: still walk and hold hands, we still go places together,
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: we still have dates. No, me and my girl good
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: I don't even care. It's so much on there about me, man,
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: that I could care less about because I don't feel
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: as though and I've gathered now I haven't always been
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: this way about the Internet, but I know the truth
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: about me. And now most people know what the Internet is.
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: Most people know what it is. Real people who got
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: real lives ain't studying that Internet. Now you got some
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: people that banking their whole existence on it. I know
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: he liked that. He make me sick. That's why I
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: can't stand him.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: You don't even know me.
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: You don't even know me, and you not being able
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: to stand me has no effect on me. And this
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: can even help that caller that we had earlier today.
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: How does she let stop letting every negative thing affect him?
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: She carries it over and over.
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: No, man, I'm not gonna allow you to do this
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: to me. I do not give a person permission to
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: ruin my day. You don't have the authority to dictate
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: to me how I think or feel. You know nothing
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: about me. You don't even know who I am. So
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: how you gonna talk about how I am? If you
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: don't know who I am? How you talking about how
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: I am? That don't make no sense. It don't make
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: no sense.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: People.
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: Stop giving people permission. I've said this one hundred times
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: on this show. Martin Luther King had a quote. He said,
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: a man can't ride your back unless you bend over,
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: stand up, straighten up. Stop allowing people to disrupt your peace.
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: That's a big part of it.
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: Man, my piece is important to me. Look, I got
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: life coming at me, just like everybody else. I gotta
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: deal with grief from time to time. I got to
- 1:28:40Speaker 5: deal with bad news. I got to deal with family
- 1:28:43Speaker 5: members that suffering through illnesses. You know, I got things
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: that disappoint me. You know, I'm trying to help people
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: in my life. I'm always feel like I'm responsible for
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: helping somebody. I got a lot going on, and on
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: top of all that, I'm just trying to live my life.
- 1:29:04Speaker 5: I don't have time to allow people in my space
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: to disrupt my peace. You don't have that permission anymore.
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: And as I approach this newest birthday, Lady's birthday, God
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: will and not make it.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: Hey, man, I'm.
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: Gonna care even less, even less, And I'm gonna tell
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: y'all something, Man, that's a great place to be in.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: When you take concerted efforts and measures to stop allowing
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: people to disrupt your peace. When you make concerted efforts
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: and you take the measures to rid yourself of people's
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: opinion of you that don't even know you, man, you
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: can start relaxing. Look, man, I'm on the internet like
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: everybody else. Because I scrolled now, my feed is flooded
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: with the you know, inspirational quotes, stuff like that that's
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: what comes up on my timeline workout stuff.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: But every now and then you'll be flipping through it.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Here come some.
- 1:30:12Speaker 5: Soon as I see it, I just go right on
