- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show today? Is it? Everybody? Okay?
- 2:14Speaker 1: On a real positive note? Today? Is it? Today? Is
- 2:19Speaker 1: the day? You know, when I was in high school,
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, my mother's Sunday school teaching until she passed.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I would walk out the door every morning on my
- 2:29Speaker 1: way to school, and my mother used to say, listen
- 2:33Speaker 1: to me something, hey, don't forget. Today is the day
- 2:35Speaker 1: that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be
- 2:38Speaker 1: glad in it. And you know, I don't think much
- 2:40Speaker 1: of it. You know, it's just my mama being religious,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you know, my spiritual woman. So you know, I just
- 2:46Speaker 1: took it as that. But as I've gotten older, man,
- 2:48Speaker 1: you know that's registered more and more with me. You know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: today is the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 2:54Speaker 1: us rejoice and be glad in it. That's pretty cool, man,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I mean, what the blessing will you get throughout the
- 3:02Speaker 1: day than the fact that he allows you to live
- 3:06Speaker 1: and see another day? See sometimes, man, when you're young,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you don't pay no attention to that. But all you
- 3:13Speaker 1: got to do is keep living, keep watching some people
- 3:16Speaker 1: that you know not be here anymore, go to class
- 3:21Speaker 1: reunions and they're smaller. See people that you really loved.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It meant a lot till you leave this world, and
- 3:29Speaker 1: all of a sudden, man, immortality starts to matter a
- 3:34Speaker 1: great deal to you. Some of us learned this lesson
- 3:38Speaker 1: sooner than others. But I know, when you're young, man,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you know, you think you're gonna be here for a while.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You think you've got time to play around, You think
- 3:45Speaker 1: you've got time to get it together, you've got time
- 3:47Speaker 1: to make the mistakes, and you've got time to chill.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But man, oh man, I almost every full blown adult
- 3:54Speaker 1: that I know will tell you and have said these
- 3:57Speaker 1: words right here many times, and I want to to
- 3:59Speaker 1: read what I'm saying is because I want you to
- 4:01Speaker 1: hear him, because you're gonna use them. Man, if I
- 4:05Speaker 1: only knew then what I know now. Do you know
- 4:08Speaker 1: how many people have said those words right there? Because
- 4:13Speaker 1: in time, man, you gained so much wisdom. Oh but
- 4:16Speaker 1: it ain't like nobody didn't tell you though. See that's
- 4:20Speaker 1: the hooker. Somebody told you back then. Hey man, it's
- 4:23Speaker 1: best to buckle down now. He said, Hey man, you
- 4:26Speaker 1: better quit wasting time. Hey man, don't stop taking your
- 4:29Speaker 1: foot off the gas pedal. Hey look, do your best
- 4:32Speaker 1: at all the times. You know, stop stop worrying about that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm telling your son. In a minute, them clubs ain't
- 4:38Speaker 1: gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute, they're going
- 4:40Speaker 1: out all the time, ain't gonna mean nothing to you.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I heard all
- 4:46Speaker 1: of it. I can't tell it to you. I can't
- 4:48Speaker 1: tell you how many times I repeat it to my kids.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But man, today is a different day, because the day
- 4:55Speaker 1: is the day that the Lord has made. So he
- 4:58Speaker 1: gave you a shot today. If you if you woke
- 5:00Speaker 1: up this morning, or if you're finishing your day, on
- 5:02Speaker 1: your shift. He gave you a new day, nothing bigger
- 5:07Speaker 1: than the fact that he woke you up today. Now,
- 5:11Speaker 1: why don't you do something about that? Why don't you
- 5:13Speaker 1: take advantage of it? How about today? How about if
- 5:16Speaker 1: you start today? How About if you stop hesitating today?
- 5:19Speaker 1: How about if you stop delaying it today? How about
- 5:22Speaker 1: if you stop procrastinating today? How about if you make
- 5:25Speaker 1: today to day that you go forward. I mean, man,
- 5:27Speaker 1: let's all just decide today, Let's go forward. Let's put
- 5:31Speaker 1: forth a maximum effort today. How about today? I mean, really, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: what you're doing? You look, man, take advantage of this
- 5:39Speaker 1: blessing of waking up. Do something today. So many people
- 5:45Speaker 1: are in the indulge ms of life, or living in
- 5:48Speaker 1: a rut, or just merely existing instead of thriving simply
- 5:53Speaker 1: because of one one thing. You just won't do it today?
- 5:58Speaker 1: If you would just start the process, man, Start that
- 6:01Speaker 1: business you always dreamed of. Go looking to that other
- 6:04Speaker 1: job you always yearn for. Go get the training you
- 6:07Speaker 1: need to get the promotion. Man, going back to school. Man,
- 6:11Speaker 1: go see what you need to do to lift yourself
- 6:13Speaker 1: to the next level. Stop waking up every day seeing high.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's gonna go and start waking up and do something
- 6:20Speaker 1: about how it goes. If you make one step, he'll
- 6:23Speaker 1: make two. But you can people people talk about all
- 6:25Speaker 1: the time. Man, it seems like you're always getting a blessing.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh man, when you're talking to a person, listen to this.
- 6:31Speaker 1: If you're talking to a person and it seems like
- 6:34Speaker 1: there's always a blessing coming his way, let me tell
- 6:37Speaker 1: you what that person doing. That person is putting one
- 6:39Speaker 1: foot in front of the next. That person is putting
- 6:42Speaker 1: forth some efforts out there. And that's the only way
- 6:45Speaker 1: God can bless you. God can only bless you with
- 6:48Speaker 1: your efforts. He can only put his finger on the
- 6:52Speaker 1: thing that you are doing or attempting. That's all he
- 6:57Speaker 1: can help you with. He that are no jobs walking
- 7:00Speaker 1: up to your door, knocking on your door. But if
- 7:03Speaker 1: you're beating the payment, if you're sending in the apps,
- 7:05Speaker 1: if you online scouring somewhere to work, somewhere to get
- 7:08Speaker 1: a job, then God can touch somebody's hard to hire you.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But if you're sitting at the house every day, smoke everyday, drinking,
- 7:16Speaker 1: but you wonder why you just can't get a job.
- 7:18Speaker 1: A couple of times you don't want out there. You
- 7:20Speaker 1: gotta if you ain't got a job, you gotta look give,
- 7:22Speaker 1: go get one. Every day. You got to go look
- 7:25Speaker 1: for one every single day. You can't take no days off.
- 7:28Speaker 1: How about today? How about today? If we decide today
- 7:32Speaker 1: is the day that we're gonna make the move. Today
- 7:35Speaker 1: is the day that we stopped delaying, hesitating, procrastinating. Today
- 7:39Speaker 1: is the day that we take a step in the
- 7:40Speaker 1: direction to do something for ourselves, for our lives, for
- 7:44Speaker 1: our family, for our wives, for our children, for our community,
- 7:47Speaker 1: for our school. Do something today, for crying out loud, man,
- 7:52Speaker 1: stop sitting in your own life in just a stew
- 7:56Speaker 1: of misery in your own life. I'm a saying something.
- 8:00Speaker 1: If you are in a state of confusion, if you
- 8:03Speaker 1: are troubling, if you're stuck on what to do next,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you let me tell you what's happening. You're not doing enough.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That's what it is. Man. See when I get in
- 8:13Speaker 1: a place, man where I don't know what the next
- 8:16Speaker 1: move is, it's because I unusually stalled out. See, this
- 8:21Speaker 1: is the way God works. This is the way He's
- 8:22Speaker 1: worked for me. Every time I'm busy and I'm about
- 8:26Speaker 1: the business of always trying to live my creed, which
- 8:30Speaker 1: is ABC. My My motto is ABC always be closing.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm always working on something, something to close something. When
- 8:39Speaker 1: you're so busy with the business of improving yourself and
- 8:43Speaker 1: doing with yourself and becoming the best you you can be,
- 8:46Speaker 1: God is always working on your behalf, behind some scene
- 8:52Speaker 1: or something that you're in the process of tempting to close.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But because you're not doing all you can do, you're
- 9:00Speaker 1: limiting you. You are because if your decision not to
- 9:03Speaker 1: give you all in all, you're limiting the opportunities for
- 9:07Speaker 1: God to put his finger on things and touch them
- 9:09Speaker 1: on your behalf. I don't know if the average person
- 9:14Speaker 1: really understands or knows what it takes to truly be
- 9:19Speaker 1: successful or whatever level you're talking about. But whatever that
- 9:23Speaker 1: level is, I don't care what a dollar amount you've
- 9:25Speaker 1: got attached to it, what level you got, if you
- 9:28Speaker 1: have made the decision that you're going to be successful.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I think that a lot of people, the average person
- 9:34Speaker 1: does not know what that means. Whatever level you've decided
- 9:38Speaker 1: to be successful on, See, that's your level of faith,
- 9:41Speaker 1: that's where you see your life at. Well, guess what
- 9:45Speaker 1: you got to maximize your efforts to even get to
- 9:48Speaker 1: that level. So listen to me. If you want to
- 9:51Speaker 1: be successful at your church, if you want to be
- 9:54Speaker 1: successful in your relationship, if you want to be successful
- 9:56Speaker 1: down at the day caissing, if you want to be
- 9:59Speaker 1: successful at your college, if you want to be successful
- 10:02Speaker 1: on your job, guess what it's gonna take all you
- 10:06Speaker 1: got in that world to become a success. I don't
- 10:10Speaker 1: know why people think that. If you don't want to
- 10:13Speaker 1: be where somebody else said, you ain't gonna put forth
- 10:16Speaker 1: that effort. Now, no, I ain't wrong. You've got to
- 10:19Speaker 1: put forth your maximum effort at whatever role you're trying
- 10:22Speaker 1: to accomplish. Lord have mercy. Man. How about today, though, y'all?
- 10:27Speaker 1: How about today? Today is a good one. Let's make
- 10:30Speaker 1: today today. Let's get out of that. Let's get on
- 10:33Speaker 1: with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinate, start today.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Watch God have something to put his finger on there.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And that's all you're trying to do. Man, to line
- 10:45Speaker 1: yourself up with God's grace, you gotta put out a
- 10:47Speaker 1: lot of effort so God can put his finger on something.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You feel me today, I shall hope you do, because
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm on one today. Let's go. You're listening to ladies
- 11:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Boys and girls may have your attention please.

- 13:37Speaker 1: I need to be clean. I need to be clean.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Again again, Where you yet? Who yellow? You gotta come back?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I want foods in there. Jake, you ain't gonna be
- 13:56Speaker 1: at rand boy Never never is not No, ain't me
- 14:00Speaker 1: never the one you like? Oh? Never? Yeah, I like him,
- 14:03Speaker 1: but he only really like me Never. Don't really like
- 14:05Speaker 1: me one When they call him, he says never. Never
- 14:11Speaker 1: won't be my son and Jimmy calling my son that
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's your daddy. Hang the phone up, your father, hang
- 14:20Speaker 1: it out, Hang it out, so sad, hang the damn
- 14:31Speaker 1: phone up. Anyway, don't be ignorant to me. I think so.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's Friday, it always is. Yeah, all right, we'll be
- 14:41Speaker 1: back at thirty two after the hour. You're listening to
- 14:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve, you know, we just came
- 14:48Speaker 1: up with some questions. We you know how you love
- 14:51Speaker 1: asked Steve, and we love asking you questions. This ain't
- 14:54Speaker 1: CEO or nothing, just regular station some random questions. Yeah
- 14:58Speaker 1: all right, Uh well you can just take this one
- 15:02Speaker 1: and run with it. Actually, this is an a state
- 15:05Speaker 1: we're going to ask Steve. You know how you love
- 15:07Speaker 1: this ask There should be a level of appreciation from
- 15:14Speaker 1: the upper management for the job you all have done it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But I'm looking around the rule and I don't really
- 15:20Speaker 1: see nothing that special going on. One person, I don't
- 15:24Speaker 1: really see nothing that special going on. So you know,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I mean, you're in here because there's a check. The
- 15:29Speaker 1: moment I cut these checks, I would expect none of
- 15:31Speaker 1: you to come back the next day. I would come
- 15:33Speaker 1: for free. All those a lot we're so now, now
- 15:39Speaker 1: that we've got that out the way, I have come
- 15:42Speaker 1: to the conclusion that your loyalty is a catch to
- 15:46Speaker 1: a check. Therefore, my desires for perfection from you should
- 15:53Speaker 1: be reflective of that check. All right, So now as
- 15:57Speaker 1: you all ask your questions today, I will also give
- 16:01Speaker 1: you not only the answer, but the rebuttal to that.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So y'all can begin anytime you like. All meeting is
- 16:07Speaker 1: open in a journey, all right, Steve, if you had,
- 16:12Speaker 1: let's see, if you made your goal one billion dollars,
- 16:16Speaker 1: would you break us off and how much? Yeah? If
- 16:21Speaker 1: I made a billion dollars and I I left the
- 16:24Speaker 1: radio show early, yeah, I will give y'all so well
- 16:28Speaker 1: what would that mean? I probably everybody get a million?
- 16:33Speaker 1: How can we how can we look at your books
- 16:36Speaker 1: to know that you I don't know it. I don't
- 16:42Speaker 1: even know that you when you close to that being,
- 16:45Speaker 1: because what I don't want is for you to get
- 16:47Speaker 1: there and we don't know you were working for years
- 16:52Speaker 1: and then we can't find him. If I got a billion,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm not getting up and want to do to radio.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I so he here, so you know, I'm now clue
- 17:04Speaker 1: clue number one, number one, and now you can't look
- 17:08Speaker 1: at my book. And when you get like a hundred
- 17:11Speaker 1: thousands from that billion, I'll let your boar so I
- 17:15Speaker 1: can make that deposit over in there and you will
- 17:18Speaker 1: be there because I know to me and you're coming back.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. Million. Yeah, I'm gonna get
- 17:24Speaker 1: you in there. Oh one at the step cration know that? Okay,
- 17:36Speaker 1: next quart, sure, all right, okay, And you got a question,
- 17:41Speaker 1: go ahead. What do you think you were good at
- 17:44Speaker 1: but you are actually quite bad at it? That's what
- 17:50Speaker 1: do I think I was good at? But I'm actually
- 17:53Speaker 1: quite bad at golf? I hit a shot one time.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I thought I was somebody. Right after that I found
- 18:05Speaker 1: out I would Golf has been a challenged for me. Uh.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I was I was headed to be a pretty good
- 18:17Speaker 1: piano player. At one point. I could have been oh
- 18:24Speaker 1: but I could have been really good at the piano,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and then poverty struck. There was no money for lessons,
- 18:31Speaker 1: so that we don't have money for a lesson all piano.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So this question, what did you do that? Did you
- 18:39Speaker 1: do with other people that are better than you? Would
- 18:41Speaker 1: that be golf? What are doing now? What is it
- 18:44Speaker 1: you played the other people are better than you? What
- 18:46Speaker 1: you're playing anywhere? It would that be golf? Yeah, I mean,
- 18:48Speaker 1: like I played with the same foursome all the time,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and because we have such a great time. Uh my boy,
- 18:55Speaker 1: blue dry that golf all way down that bad way.
- 18:58Speaker 1: If I could hit that, if I could hit my driver,
- 19:00Speaker 1: they couldn't touch me. But I put better, putting, chip
- 19:03Speaker 1: better in all of it because I ain't never on
- 19:06Speaker 1: greens and regulations. So I got to get okay pretty
- 19:09Speaker 1: good at that. Yeah, here's the next question, Steve. If
- 19:17Speaker 1: you lost all of your money, if you just woke
- 19:20Speaker 1: up tomorrow morning and you were broke again, or your
- 19:23Speaker 1: bank account was wiped out all of that, could you
- 19:27Speaker 1: do you think you could rebuild and how quickly? Definitely
- 19:32Speaker 1: I will. I may not be able to get back
- 19:34Speaker 1: to where I am right now, but I could rebuild
- 19:39Speaker 1: my income. I could become a millionaire in a in
- 19:41Speaker 1: a year. Right back to me, right back, because it's
- 19:44Speaker 1: a state of mind. Yeah, I could become a millionaire
- 19:48Speaker 1: within a year easily, easily because I understand what it takes.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I know the principles, and I know what I'm willing
- 19:56Speaker 1: to do. I know what I'm willing to do. So
- 19:58Speaker 1: would it wouldn't a year years, I'd be a millionaire
- 20:02Speaker 1: before the year was up. Easy. That's that's quite profile comedy.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Just you go back on the road. Oh, I'll be
- 20:12Speaker 1: on I'll be on that stage forty five days from
- 20:16Speaker 1: the moment I got nothing, forty five days later. Steve
- 20:20Speaker 1: Harkey live at the Fox. It's a different it's a
- 20:23Speaker 1: different Chicken page. But it's all right to be homeless
- 20:26Speaker 1: when you're living out of your road rock. That's cool,
- 20:30Speaker 1: all right, that's a nice homeless. I have a serious question.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Since we get here, we get here and we do
- 20:40Speaker 1: the show, there's no time that we have a lunch break.
- 20:44Speaker 1: What I would like to know when it is lunch,
- 20:48Speaker 1: when you're not talking, you can eat your nunch right
- 20:52Speaker 1: you quit talking, you could be beatty. I have to
- 20:58Speaker 1: have lunch. We have covered that. And your orange juice

- 34:51Speaker 1: Miss and Trip, Good morning everybody. This is a trip
- 34:55Speaker 1: with the news. A lot to talk about. President Trump.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Let's get with him first. He arrived in the Okay
- 35:00Speaker 1: yesterday for meetings with Prime Minister Theresa May and the
- 35:02Speaker 1: Queen and Trump was greeted by hundreds of demonstrators and
- 35:06Speaker 1: a huge balloon that depicts him as a big baby.
- 35:08Speaker 1: The protesters, which represents several groups of promising more demonstrations
- 35:12Speaker 1: today against several of Trump's policies and actions, even though
- 35:15Speaker 1: relate even those related to a guy named Colin Kaepernick
- 35:19Speaker 1: and Trump's criticism of Kaepernick's calling attention to police brutality
- 35:23Speaker 1: in this country. Long boil is a surmised demo will
- 35:29Speaker 1: be when weight on masks take our nil to the
- 35:31Speaker 1: American National anthem. Because there's one solidarity I'm loving gonna
- 35:35Speaker 1: give up on is with black American. That's right, they're
- 35:38Speaker 1: gonna take a neil today. That was Merod Kanesha to
- 35:40Speaker 1: Stop the War Coalition, who says that tens of thousands
- 35:43Speaker 1: of protests are expected to march through central London today.
- 35:46Speaker 1: In fact, the huge crowd has already assembled watching some
- 35:48Speaker 1: live pictures there. The Trump administration says it can only
- 35:51Speaker 1: reunite fifty seven or or the one hundred so very
- 35:54Speaker 1: young children who were separated from their parents at the border.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Officials say it's because of concern for those youngsters. They
- 35:59Speaker 1: say some other remaining parents have either been deported or
- 36:02Speaker 1: they're in state of federal custody, or they have criminal histories,
- 36:05Speaker 1: or they've been determined not to be the parents at all.
- 36:08Speaker 1: FBI Special Agent Peter Shuck was grilled by members of
- 36:11Speaker 1: the Council of the House Oversight Committee yesterday. He told
- 36:14Speaker 1: him that a text message that he sent to his
- 36:16Speaker 1: then girlfriend saying that quote will stop the election of
- 36:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump was written in response to a series of events,
- 36:21Speaker 1: he says, including Trump's insulting the family of a fallen
- 36:24Speaker 1: American soldier. Struck says his text was meant to reflect
- 36:27Speaker 1: his belief that the country would never elect someone who
- 36:30Speaker 1: would behave like that. But Struck says he always remained
- 36:32Speaker 1: detached when it came to his job, unequivocally and under oath.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Not once in my twenty six years of defending our
- 36:40Speaker 1: nation did my personal opinions impact any official action. I
- 36:45Speaker 1: took Republicans looking to see if there was any biased
- 36:47Speaker 1: motivate in the original probe into the Trump campaign and
- 36:50Speaker 1: its alleged collusion with the Russians to put dirt out
- 36:52Speaker 1: in fake news on Hillary Clinton. US Justice Department reopening
- 36:56Speaker 1: the murder investigation of Emmettil, the fourtn year old boy
- 36:59Speaker 1: who was brew rely, beaten, shot and tortured to death
- 37:01Speaker 1: on a visit to his family and money Mississippi, over
- 37:04Speaker 1: sixty years ago. Just recently, well about a few maybe
- 37:07Speaker 1: five years ago. It came out there to the woman
- 37:10Speaker 1: who said that he flirted with her. The wife lied,
- 37:13Speaker 1: and a lot of people want to see her try
- 37:15Speaker 1: because her lied left left to let to a very
- 37:18Speaker 1: very brutal death of a young person. Her lie. Today's

- 50:57Speaker 1: got a trip, man. Then if you was my bro,
- 50:59Speaker 1: you my people, you know, maybe we could do a
- 51:01Speaker 1: little something. I can understand that, But bro, you ain't
- 51:04Speaker 1: gonna get me no two fifty when I'm getting the

- 55:43Speaker 1: Please buck loop hold on you here. It is the
- 55:47Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter subject. She is making me want to fight her.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Here's Stephen Shirley. I am a wife and a mother
- 55:55Speaker 1: of two children. I've been married for eleven years to
- 55:58Speaker 1: my wonderful have been but I recently found out he
- 56:02Speaker 1: had been cheating on me for a year. I found
- 56:04Speaker 1: out when the woman started calling me. She told me
- 56:07Speaker 1: that she was taking good care of him. When he
- 56:10Speaker 1: is away from home with her. I confronted him about it,
- 56:13Speaker 1: and of course he denied it. I prayed to the
- 56:16Speaker 1: Lord to show me the truth. As time went on,
- 56:19Speaker 1: I never told him that I was still receiving calls
- 56:22Speaker 1: from the woman. She even sent me pictures of my
- 56:24Speaker 1: husband naked, so there was my proof. He finally came
- 56:28Speaker 1: clean and apologized. I was so hurt and angry. I
- 56:33Speaker 1: loved and trusted him. He told me um that he
- 56:36Speaker 1: had been trying to stop seeing her, but she was
- 56:39Speaker 1: threatening him the whole time. Well after she sent the
- 56:42Speaker 1: pictures to me, he finally left her alone. I forgave
- 56:45Speaker 1: him and we're working on our marriage. But we still
- 56:49Speaker 1: have our moments. The problem is now this heffa won't
- 56:52Speaker 1: leave him alone. We have been We've both changed our
- 56:56Speaker 1: numbers and blocked her on all of our social media pages.
- 56:59Speaker 1: My husband made it clear that he does not want
- 57:02Speaker 1: this woman. He said he was just in a bad
- 57:06Speaker 1: place at that time. What should I do? Now I've
- 57:09Speaker 1: already beat his behind? Should I beat hers too? I'm
- 57:12Speaker 1: tired of her. How can I get her to leave
- 57:14Speaker 1: us alone? Please help? Well, that's one way, maybe if
- 57:18Speaker 1: you do beat her behind? Since you beat his behind.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I'm not opposed to it at all, but and I
- 57:24Speaker 1: have to tell you this, it's really not your responsibility entirely. Okay,
- 57:29Speaker 1: I'm not mad at you, and I do understand if
- 57:31Speaker 1: you want to fight her. She's s paunting you, she's
- 57:34Speaker 1: stalking you. She's throwing her affair with your man up
- 57:37Speaker 1: in your face. Uh. You have forgiven your husband and
- 57:40Speaker 1: taken him back. Uh So what is he doing to
- 57:43Speaker 1: stop all of this? Is he just reaping the benefits
- 57:45Speaker 1: that you know, he slid by this affair and he
- 57:49Speaker 1: was able to, you know, slide back in with you.
- 57:51Speaker 1: What is he doing to stop at all? I mean,
- 57:53Speaker 1: you know there's things called restraining orders. Is he helping
- 57:57Speaker 1: you at all? Or is he just turning his back
- 57:59Speaker 1: to the whole thing. I blame him for a lot
- 58:02Speaker 1: of it, especially the fact that you know now that
- 58:05Speaker 1: you've taken him in, he's back in your good graces
- 58:07Speaker 1: and he's doing nothing. So to me, he needs to stop.
- 58:10Speaker 1: You guys need to need to do it together a
- 58:13Speaker 1: united front. Let her know that this is uh definitely
- 58:17Speaker 1: not the way you want to continue in this situation.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Steve Shirley, I think you missed a piece of information here, darling.
- 58:25Speaker 1: She said that album gonna go back over the letter.
- 58:28Speaker 1: But she said that what he doesn't know is that
- 58:32Speaker 1: she's still contacted, so he don't even know about all this. Well,
- 58:39Speaker 1: he knew he slept with her, he knew he had
- 58:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna get into that, miss, which makes you hold
- 58:46Speaker 1: him responsible for all this, So nothing he can do.
- 58:50Speaker 1: He's gonna fix it for you because you have you have.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Damn Surely sure this man ain't cheated on you. I
- 58:59Speaker 1: know you're taking it on as though he's cheated on you.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Let's be forgiving. No, surely, you just sent me a
- 59:08Speaker 1: scripture this morning. This morning, your scripture was to forgive
- 59:12Speaker 1: people the way that Christ in Heaven forgives us. But
- 59:17Speaker 1: there's no forgiveness in your heart for this letter whatever.
- 59:20Speaker 1: So let me take another approach to my wonderful husband,
- 59:25Speaker 1: this woman says, found out he had been cheating on her,
- 59:29Speaker 1: Not a wonderful husband. That's just at the top of
- 59:31Speaker 1: the letter. After that, he didn't bat out of hell.
- 59:35Speaker 1: He might as well just gone somewhere. I found out
- 59:37Speaker 1: when the woman started calling me. She told me she
- 59:41Speaker 1: was taking good care of him when he was away.
- 59:43Speaker 1: From home. See, this is a daddy hell for hell,
- 59:47Speaker 1: she ain't got to do that, but she trying to
- 59:50Speaker 1: pry him loose from you. This is a skank move.
- 59:55Speaker 1: See she number two trying to be number one, number
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: one for number two. Number two's very rarely ever get
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to be number one. It can happen, but rarely. What
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: this is for you? She told me she was taking
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: good camera when he was away from home. I confront
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: him about it, and of course he denied it. Yes, yes,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you he had to. You first got to deny because
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you gotta balance yourself. The first line that we always
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: tell you, ladies is to gather ourselves. We got to
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: gather use because first of all, you surprised that you've
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: been caught. Claudia been calling me. What Claudia? She says,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: she takes good care of you when you Claudia cook
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: cook cook? Who the Alice Claudy? You know who the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: hell Claudie is? I don't know, No, damn Claudie, she said,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: what not? She'd be taking good care of you when
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you over there? What you tell counting? I don't know
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: her name is Claudie? She right there? I don't know
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: this health right? So now, I prayed to the Lord
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: to show me the truth, and as time went on,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I never told him. He denied. I prayed the Lord
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: show me the truth. So as time went on, never
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: told she was sho. She even sent me pictures of
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: my husband niked. This is where now we got to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: come to the realization that we know Claudia, because why
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: is you over that necking? But see he fell asleep
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: at the spot. Come on for audio work at the spot, right,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: get that light, go to sleep. Ship to the pitch
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: of me while I was naked because I drank some
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: of that green tea and I didn't know I went
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: to the doctor. I'm alleging to green tea. Yeah, it
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: puts me out. I'm the only person living that green
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: tea makes some conscious. So I fell out naked. Too
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: many lives, so that was my proof. He finally came
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: clean and apologizing. Will continue to letter right at all Right,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response to this crazy
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: letter at twenty three After you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Morning show. He gave a Walmart has three two days
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: shipping on online orders of thirty five bucks. Yeah, well,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Amazon Prime just went up to a hundred and nineteen bucks.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, can you believe that we paid that much
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: just for free shipping. That's a lot of shipping, a
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: lot of shipping. How about instead of paying a hundred
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: nineteen bucks for free shipping, we go to walmart dot
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: com and pick up whatever without a membership been thirty
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: five bucks and shipping is free to business day shipping
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: minimum thirty five dollar order restrictions applied. All right, Steve,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: come on, let's go with part two of your response.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: And his wife and mother to have been married eleven years.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Wonderful husband found out he was cheating on a woman.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Was calling her, telling this woman, I take good care
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: of your husband when he away from home. She trying
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to pry him loose. She number two, trying to become
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: number one. Uh he She confronted him. He denied it
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: as he shooting because there is no proof. You cannot
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: come clean right away. You must gather yourself. He didn't
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: call calling what you're calling her phone? You know what
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: this once? You knew I was mad, but you're calling
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: hu phul. He didn't have it out with He denied it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I prayed, never told him to. I was still receiving
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: calls from what She even sent pictures of my husband
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Nick where the walls your answers neck it. But of
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: course you're not at her house and you a you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: have just come out of the steam room and that
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: steam treen, that steam room and green Peak, it had
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: knocked your ass. They have towels and rogues at the spot.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I drank that tea. I couldn't get to that time,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: So Steve, when your lady pushed the phone in your
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: face and say is this you? What do you do?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Is not? I don't care if my ass is jacked
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: up in the air with my so security number stamp.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: That ain't me. That's you're just denying it. That's just
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: that's that's photo shop. They got that now, they got
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: that nuw that ain't even my thing. Look at U
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: cut enough stamped on my A. That's not me. So
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: now here let me go on with the letter. Uh
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: so that was the proof. He finally came clean and apologize.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I was hurting, angry. I loved and trusted him. He
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: told me to hit the part where he got good.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: He told me that he had been trying to stop
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: seeing her, but she was threatening him. The whole time.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's the truth, and that's a good one. Yeah, you're
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: trying to stop this. Every time she was gonna tell,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: so I kept on going by there so she wouldn't tell.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: And you know she was telling the truth, because didn't
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: she called you. I tried to avoid that. Yeah. So anyway,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that was the man in me trying to stop. So finally, uh,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: after she sent the pictures to me, he finally left
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: her alone because now we know this hell for crazy
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: together now see the number two crazy now but crazy
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: sexiest is good. That's what's wrong with It's good. So
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I forgave him and we're working on our marriage. But
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: we still have our moments to him now, is just help,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: won't leave him alone? We changed our phone number's blocked
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: on all our social media page. My husband made it clean.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Is not won't this woman? He really don't, He really don't.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: He just made a mistake. He getting together. He said
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: he just had a bad place in time, been a
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: bad place at the time. I've been I've been that
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: for a year for a year. Yeah, I have a
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: bad place for about ten Yeah, you it can happen.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I've had a bad place about that whole year. I
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: was in a bad place for damn. Yeah, it can happen.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I was winning for hold. Yeah, now what I just
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: had a bad place. I've already beat his behind whatever
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: she beat yeah whatever? How they ain't going You should
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I beat her too? I'm tired of How can I
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: get her to leave us alone? Now? Should I beat
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: her too? I think you shoot? Yeah? Yeah, see, I
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: think you should. Here's some smarter ways to do it. No,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you're getting in jail. The group just saying now listen
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: to me. Here's a d Facebook up posted on her
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Facebook page that she is a cheatah and a husband stilling.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Oh man. That's posted on her job in social media
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: that she yeah, this is how you get rid of somebody,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: that she is a husband stiller and a home recorrect
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and it's ruining the lives of two bakers. There's a
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: term for that. Go ahead, start would it be? No? No?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: When you're when you shame someone publicly like that, can
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you get in trouble for that? No? Hell no, I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: think you could do that. This shirt email her employers,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: oh man, see notify her shirt. That's that's posted in
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the in the they don't read it in the church
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: and Nats. Yeah, yeah, because it's easy. It's easy. It's
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: easy to have a church sister. They gotta go a firewall.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: You could just drop this information in that sister Bernie
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Ferguson is a cheetah, a home record. It's ruining the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: lives of two babies trying to take their father from me. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and just you could get on social media. You do
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: her on social media. She has stopped. She can't stop
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: all in post. See go on her face, find all
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: her friends. Now you're sending everything to her friends. Has
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: this happened to you? But just somebody just sending stuff.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm on tabloids, I'm on grocery show. You
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: ain't gotta gonna your check out. The damns want to
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: see you're going to just want a candy. Bam, I
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: ain't seen your got open up your damn Facebook. Just
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: go down. He just he just off the hook. She did.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Ain'tybody did that? Took me on social media? You ain't
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: got it. I'm just up in there there. I'm down
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: to slow dogs down. You want some dumb man. I
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: just sick of my sister's calling me with the old lass.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: But my sister mown is she good. I'm praying for you, baby.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Ain't nothing of that true. We don't leave about that, baby, bro,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: we know how you is. I'm gonna stump that hell
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and what I'll see it on my sister moaning. Man,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: he's off the hook. Uh, he's off the hook. She
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: took him back to him back, Well it happens to him, Well,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: something that has already happened to him. He's paid, Shirley. See,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: you're y'all want to keep making a man pay. But
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: the man pay. The man is paying to her. You're
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: out of my life with cheating on her. And he
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: didn't take a year your life. You were still living,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: know your life was going on. You just ain't know
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: what was going on. He didn't take a year. Now
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: that I do. Sure the man did not take a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: year out of your life by cheating on you. You
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: had that whole year. But now that still shopping. You
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: don't get it back. Surely, see you evil, read your scripture.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Let's go to break. You think you're listening to Steve
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show to the Strawberry Letters, and yeah, look
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I don't think he's getting his just do this woman
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: had to go through all this? Yeah, maybe she didn't
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: know about it. She knew something we haven't intuition. Of course. Well,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: she's been married to her, she's been married to him
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: for eleven years. He cheated on her, and now this
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: woman keeps taunting her, stalking her. And yeah, the number
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: two as you called her, and nothing happens to him. Him,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: she forgave him. He's good, but she doesn't. Still deal
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: with Shirley. A lot happens to a man. First of all,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: not enough he got busted. He got busted, He didn't
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: lose any lamps. She didn't need the man up. She said,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: she whooped his behind. The man got to hit it.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: This ain't and what he catching at the house behind
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: this because in the letter that lady said, but we
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: still have our moments. Oh and who you think is
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: providing when they come from see? So that's her. He
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: ain't off scott free. But you are unforgiving, Shirley and unrelenting,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: and you are the last two scripted Shirley sent me
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: on Sunday. Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: That's John. Yeah, I'm just going to wasn't problem, But
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I'm just going to look at your scriptures you've been
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: sending me. She's not going by none of them. Man, man,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: just a hypocrite. Thank you, Carla, I am not a hypocrite.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: The time about read your scripture and he gets off
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Scott free. She forgave Scott free, Sure gave him. But
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: the woman still bothering her. But that's the right as
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: a result of what he did to her. Let me
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: back up and throw something in the mix that ain't
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: out here yet. What fault in this? Could the woman?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: The wife? This is not her fought he had to
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: go on. I didn't say it was hard, ju Junior.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: But let me ask you a question. Let me ask
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: you a question. And I don't think that women should
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: take on the blame of husband's and men who cheat us.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: That's not I'm asking you this question, though. But there
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: are times because let me explain something to you, as
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I did in the book that sold so many commons
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that help and once again being hypocritical, so let me
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: say this to you. That is a section in there
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: that I write that the three things a man has
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: to have loyalty and love. You have to be loyal
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: to me, You have to love me. Number two is support,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and number three is to cook you. Now, let's just
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: say at your house, you're not getting one of those three.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Pick which one you like to discuss your loyal So
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you're not being loyal anymore. So you're dogging him behind back,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: or you cheating on him. You could have cheated on
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: him in the past, or you talk about and behind
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: his back. You don't support the man. So that means
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: you should go out and cheat with another woman who's
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: ends me naked pictures of you. That's what's that. It's
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: not a solution. But if you are trying, if you're
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: not getting something at home, I'm just telling you the truth.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I can't believe you're trying to make this out. I'm
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: not making it out. You're not getting something at home.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You gonna go get it somewhere. Well, okay, he did that,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: she took him back, she forgave him. But now this
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: woman is still bothering her. So that says that's because
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: of what he did to her. Absolutely okay, so then
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: he needs to pay. He needs to pay. Hey, how
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: she needs to beat his behind, she needs she beat
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: his behind, she beat she beat her, she needs to
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: be her behind. I'm not mad if she does that. Group.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: What else? And neither are you? And neither are you,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Shelly, I haven't another group. I can't believe
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you're making this out to be the woman's fault. No,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm making it out a cheater. He
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: just a cheater. I just threw out what if to you?
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: It don't justify what he did. But I'm telling they
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: do it. But when you say that, it sounds like
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: you're justifying it. Sounds like you're really a strawberry letter.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: That's not justifying for cheating. There's no justifica it is.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: It is a just for cheating. There is a justification
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: for cheating, Shirley. It's a justification for cheating when women
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, yes, of course it is. Excuse me,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: excuse me? Did you just say there's a justification for
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: when women cheating? Yes, because but they can't be a
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: justification for when me and cheat. That right there? Are
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you kidding me? It's a double standards, Steve, It's double
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Do you agree that they're double standards? Double standards? Okay?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Then I rest my case. What is going wrong? You're
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: trying to go in and argue with me a woman.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I'm so sleepy tomorrow about this. I'm so sorry, thank you.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: He's wrong. He's wrong. He is wrong, and they've been
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: married for eleven years. Is wrong to contacting this wife
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: and trying to make her miserable and remind her of
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the affair that her husband had. She needs hot behind
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: and shack and she wouldn't have done it for him
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: cheating with her. This is all his fault. Yeah, I
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: got texture creating scriptures that I that I sent to you.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: And ere you ain't being you're not being understanding of
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: this situation. You not and I and I'm not understanding unapologetic.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Surely I just told a woman how to fix it Facebook.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: This woman on home, tell all her friends where she did,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: posted on her job. Well, maybe she'll write us back,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Steve and email on her employer and said notify her
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: church evangelist. Oh nor she not, because she don't do none.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: She tell im that is not true. Take a week
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: off from sending me get yourself together. You need to
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: go up in the mouth. Whatever, man, just make sure
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: you read the Lord have Mercy when I read it
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: back to you. You don't want to hear it. We'll
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: be right back after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: this is what I'm calling everybody the Steve Harvey Fitness
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and Wellness Segment. Both money, body, mind, and spirit. We're
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: gonna be talking about all those things in the Steve
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Harvey Fitness and Wellness Segment. This is it now and
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: back again with us. Is my friend. He's uh, my
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: personal physician, uh and Margie goes to him also. Uh.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: He's the co founder of the Bee Hive of Healing
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Integrated Medical Center. It's based in l A. He's a
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: family medicine instructor at Western University of Health Sciences. He's
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: also an accomplished author and he's got a new book
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: and we've been talking about it. It's called The Clarity
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Cleans and what it does everybody that outlines a transformative
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: approach to live a more peaceful and healthy life. Well,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: he's back today with the follow up Force Bas. Welcome
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: to the show. Dr habib Sadiki, Welcome, Welcome doc. How
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: be How you doing? Man? I'm feeling so blessed and
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: it's uh, it's wonderful to be asked to be back.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: That means I'm doing something right. So thank you're being generous.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Let me tell you what it was. The crew here
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: was so captivated with some of the things you were
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: telling them. They're all into it now. You know, you've
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: gotten four brand new clients out of this still too,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: because they all are gonna come see you. But in
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: this book, let's talk about this. The book is amazing
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: by the way, Clarity and Clean surely has some questions
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: about it. Well, you outline a ninety day process to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: establish clarity in the mind, body and spirit. And that's
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: exactly what I've taken as a part of the Steve
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Harvey Health and Wellness segment. I always I want to
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: talk about the mind, the body, and the spirit, but
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: there's twil steps to the process. Tell us a little
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: bit more about that. How How how does the person
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: get started in the twil step process? You know, I
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Mrs Strawberry and I when I came in, they mentioned
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: a particular person and I said, oh, yeah, I was
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: walking by and I saw the TV and some of
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the things that you know that they were talking about,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and I could feel myself getting angry and opinionated, you know,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: and look, the book is about, um. How I was
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: able to walk away with them having a terminal illness,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: and you know, even or not, I'm just really happy
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: that you guys are all healthy. But look, people are
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: sick out there. I mean, you look at the rate
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: of obesity, you look at the rate of diabetes, cancer. Look,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: one in three women are getting hypertension. Um, when in
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: three women are getting are getting cancer, whenning two men
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: are getting cancer. So a way to give back was
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: really to to um to write this book. And what
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: really saved my life, UM wasn't really all that which
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I learned in medical school. It wasn't, to be very frank,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: some of what I learned in medical schools can easily
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: kill me, right, and there are a lot of the
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: doctors out there. So what I'm telling you, Look, our
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: profession has one of the highest rate of divorce. Um.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: You know that when you look at the doctor's children,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: they're some of the most arrogant, you know, delinquent children.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: You know, the highest one of the highest rate of
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: drug abuse. Okay, why why is that? Why is it?
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: How could you be a healer and and have all that? Right,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I'll tell you what saved my life was my auntie.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I think I was about maybe ten and a half eleven,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: and my auntie lived in a little village and she
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: had chickens. And I remember one day I realized that
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: my auntie was like getting pepper and rubbing pepper underneath
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: the belly of chickens. Or Confused at that really young age,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I'm like, well, what is my auntie doing, you know,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: peppering up the chicken. Initially I thought, you know, they
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: were gonna kill the you know, chicken, and we're gonna
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: have chicken for dinner for dinner. Yeah, that's not what
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: she was doing. I kept asking, and she kept smiling,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: and eventually, you know, she said, I'm peppering up the
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: chicken because you know, when I rubbed the pepper underneath
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: their belly, it makes them horny, and they will allow
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: the rooster to have sex with them so that the
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: eggs that they lay will be fur line, so we
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: can get more chicks. Let me tell you something, that
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: piece of information saved my life because because when they
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: gave me the diagnosis, I published my entire medical records
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: from City of Hope in this book. Look, they gave
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: me thirty percent chance of survival. Literally, it's in there
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: they say seventy chance of micrometastasis, which is really a
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: cuss word. It means you're screwed. Look, let me tell
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: you something. What I'm you're out here. It's what saved
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: me was at that moment when the doctor looked me
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and you said, listen, here's what's happening. I realized what
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: my auntie had taught me. I didn't want anybody to
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: pepper me up. I didn't lose control. I said, wait
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: a minute, God gave me life, and I need to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: go back, and I need to center myself and I
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: need to choose from that place of being. And that's
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: what really saved my life. So right now, what is
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: that book about? You know? God bless her. She's so sweet.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: She said, listen, just be more specific because I know
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you're naive a this, but they're in radio, they can't
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: see you. Look, the book is about not getting peppered up.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: The book and how how do we how do we
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: human beings are getting peppered up. Maybe they're maybe they're
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: not getting a medical diagnosis that says they're screwed. You know,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: they might still you know, stick a fork and then
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: turn them over. Maybe their addiction is anger. Do you
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: realize how how many times we are peppering ourselves up.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: We're driving and we're having full conversations inside our head. Okay,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: so hold on, So so let me kind of put
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: this out there for people. So, what you're saying is
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: a person has to get back to the core of
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: who they really are and and look internally. And yet
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you have the capability a lot of times to self
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: heal yourself by ridding yourself of emotional toxics. Absolutely, but
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you've got to realize if you're being peppered up. I'm
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: talking about what it means to be a fully mature
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: human being, and I'll tell you it's a scarce commodity.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: That's why we're here. Coming up, it's more of the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Hey,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: we've got part two of my health and Willness segment
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: which I've missed, called Fitness and Willness. I don't think
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: what talk your babes today, ladies and gentlemen, whatever, it's
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: coming out, it's not me, it's it's the renowned Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Bring it out, bring it out of you. Yeah, there's
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: work for everybody, except time. I just can't get through
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: to him. It's like what does it mean to be
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: a fully you know, willy, mature human being. What does
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: it mean for us to hear something that we don't
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: like and we don't lose control and we get to
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: choose from a place of surrender, you know, if I
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: will be done? What does that mean? What does it
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: mean to come from a place of centeredness? That's what
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: we're talking about. That's what this book is. It's an
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: empty cup off the cover. Listen, ladies and gentlemen, it's
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: an empty cup. If you can come from a place
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: of emptiness into your relationship. It could be your wife,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: it could be your husband, it could be your son,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: it could be your boss. So that's why we say
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: people bring a baggage to relationship. Finger. Okay, I'm gonna
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: pour Jamaica Blue Mountain in your cup, but if you
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: already got some ammonia in the cup, you're gonna get poisoned.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: This is not gonna taste right now. I'll give you
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: an example, Steve, I got pulled over. This is today.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Here's what I did. The minute I got pulled over.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: I lowered my window. I stuck both hands outside. The
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: guy comes around and he says, boy, aren't you paranoid.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: I looked at the guy who said, you know, officer,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: I have a lot of compassion for you. Your job
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: is very stressful, and anything I can do to make
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: it easy, it would be my privilege. I swear to God,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: I could see tears welling up in this man's eyes.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: He looked at me and he says, you know what,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: slowed down, I have a great day. If my cup
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: was filled up and I'm sitting I'm going that's it. Oh,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: look I got there because I'm one iebro Iranian man,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: and he's that's why he's pulling me over. And did
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: I say one eyebrow Iranian man? Whatever? I look. If
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: my cup was filled up and the guy by at
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: the time he comes in, I'm just like about to explode.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: It's like, Wow, that's what we're talking about. Every morning
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: you wake up, before you start your day, get a pie,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: some papers, sit down somewhere where you don't have to
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: be disturbed for twelve minutes. Take a survey of your cup.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Here's the question. You start writing. You say, what what
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: are my thoughts? What are my low hanging fruits of
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions. Look, last night I
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: had I had disagreement. I had a fight with my beloved.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: We really did. We were talking for two and a
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: half hours. We went in the car because we didn't
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: want to disturb the kids. But we sat there and
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: we talked. We screamed, we laughed, we cried, we loved,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: we hugged until we worked it out. That's it. That's
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: what mature human beings do. They don't have. Oh yeah,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: climb out the world, man wil Car Mover though, hope
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: miss Marge is not listening, Jesus. But you do talk
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: about that in your book, The Clarity Klints twelve men.
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: It's each morning. Yeah, it's called PU twell Purge Emotional
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Writing PU twelve PU twelve purged emotional writing twelve minutes
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: a day. You start with that and you write it.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: You come back and we talked about my little one
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: rejecting me the night before, but I ain't got passed.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Dr hubbabs a Daggy. We love you, Thank you so much.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: It's you make the room brighter when you when you
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: come in. Thank you so much. You're listening stry morning show.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: All right, Jay, it is time for comedy Roulette. Here
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: we go with comedy roulette. Very simple. Give us five subjects.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Put them on a wheel. Fund the wheel. Stay it
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: with me, Sherley, fun fund the wheel, fund the wheel.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: We're not gonna spend it. We're gonna spund the wheel.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Stop on it. We'll do the damn thing. What you
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: got al right, here we go. Number one, you know
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: you can go to jail for that. I just stop, alright,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: umber T number two, you need to cut that off.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Need to cut that, okay. Number three, I don't know
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: what she looks like without a wig or I don't know.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Number four, really, ja number four, get your butt out
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: of my refers. And number five, you know you went
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: too far with the joke. Win we go, cat funnet
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: cat gail for that? What I would stop to Number five?
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: You know you went too far with That's a good one,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: right all right, guys know you went to you too
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: far with the joke. Win that that that that that
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: that you know you went too far? Would joke when
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: you see the fruits talking to you and said, my brother,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: can I speak to you about that joke? Hey, my brother,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: we have a time. You need to really stop. It's
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: surrounded by botas surround you. You know you went too
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: far with the joke. Win. Oh, it's very simple. When
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Sureley caller takes off because when we didn't went to fun,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: they won't never let him go far to y'all stop,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: we do that every day. Nothing When y'all you know
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: you didn't went too far with the joke. When your
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: wife pack a bag and said I'd be at my mama.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: All right, come on, you know you went too far
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: with the joke. When all your friends say damn dog, Yeah,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: damn dog right there. You know you know I went
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: too far with the joke. When someone says he's not
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: looking at you because he's blind. How about that he
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: that's why I'm not looking at dog. I'm over here.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: I'll tell you know when you went too far the joke.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: If you tell the joke the only one leg your
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: boy that wrote it. Yeah, come on, you know you
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: didn't win too far with the joke. When the person
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: sitting in the audience say I'm on my way up there,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: I know you don't went too far with the joke.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: When she says, no, I'm not expecting a baby coming up.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks at forty nine after the hour, gather round,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: everyone you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey for
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: my closes remarks that dad choose to keep encouraging people,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: uplifting people, and enlightening you all to some of the
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: things I've had to learn on my journey. And I'm
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: not claiming to know more than anybody else. I'm just
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: talking to people from a standpoint of just trying to
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: be an encouraging person from my own standpoint, my own viewpoint.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: You don't have to agree with anything I say. You
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: have to write to your own opinion, your own line
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: of thinking. So this is not a forced thing. This
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: is just, you know, words of encouragement at the end
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: of the show. So you're starting your day and you're
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: thinking about your road to success and happiness. I've had
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: a lot of challenges along the way that I've had
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: to learn how to overcome, and I've had to find
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: different methods and learn from more successful people than myself
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: how to get it done. One of the major things
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: that I learned, and this is very difficult for me
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: to do because of the most useless emotion in the
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: human spirit, which is guilt. Guilt serves no one, but
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: because of guilt, I found it hard to implement this
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: that I'm about to share with you. You've heard the
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: old saying birds of a feather flock together. You've heard
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: association brings on participation. What that simply means is, if
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: you have a goal in mind uh and the aspiration
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: somewhere you're trying to get to, to get there better, quicker, faster,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: more peacefully, you have to surround yourself with like minded people. Now,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: this is hard to do, and I'm going to tell
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: you why it's hard to do for me because I
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: was held to a certain amount of accountability by people
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: who just didn't want to see me leave them. So
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: as I began to change my life, change my direction,
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: leave Cleveland, move up, try to come up, do more,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: try to become more. Try not to be the person
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: that I used to be. They have words to hold
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: you to them, like, man, you gotta keep it real. Man,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: hey man, don't forget where you come from. Now, not
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: forgetting where you come from is important, but they're saying
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: it from the fact of What they really mean is
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: keep it real. Don't forget where you come from. A
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: lot of those people simply means don't leave us, and
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: it's not your obligation to take everybody with you. You've
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: got to understand that. Don't get held to the emotion
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: of guilt and keep associating with people who don't mean
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: you well. Now, look that goes to something my father
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: told me a long time ago. He says, son, everybody
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: come with you, can't go with you. Some people are
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: in your life for certain periods of time, and that's
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: just it. You have to move on from him. Some
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: of your friends you just grew apart from some of
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: your associates. You just can't keep associating with him all
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: the time. Some of your people. You can meet him
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: at the gym and play ball, but you can't do
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: not announce with him. That's okay. Stop thinking that because
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: a person labels you their friend, that you now owe
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: them awry. You don't stop thinking like, I hurt myself
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: so many years hanging on to people suffering from guilt.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: What's gonna happen to the family, What's gonna happen Today's
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: ability to get another job? And I've had people used
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: me for years and for years and for years. I
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: finally gotten to the point where I'm done with that.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: I finally gotten to the point I started learning it
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: a while back, but at sixty one, I'm telling you,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: I'm so through with that. I'm so through with feeling
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: obligated to people who ain't really obligated to me. And
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: don't y'all all have them people in your circle right now? Oh,
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: you so obligated to them, but are they really obligated
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: to you? You always looking out for their best interests,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: but do they ever look out for your best interests.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: Association brings on participation. If you hang with a bunch
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: of people that cuss all the time, eventually you're gonna
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: be cussing. If you hang with a lot of people
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: who do drugs all the time, every time they get
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: together and you just gotta be with them, eventually you're
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: gonna be into drugs. It's just a part of it.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: Association brings on participation. If you're somewhere and people playing
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: ping pong every day, you don't think you're gonna pick
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: up the padder one day, at least give it a shot.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: It's how this works, man. So you owe it to
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: yourself to prune the treat. You owe it to yourself
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: to take inventory. You owe it to yourself to surround
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: yourself with like minded people. To find people who are
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: going the same direction you're going, who want the same
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: same things you want. It's nothing wrong with that, And
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you something else too. It will show make
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: your life a little bit smoother. Now, that's not gonna
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: make it easier, but it will make it smoother. Wouldn't
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: it be good to have somebody talk to that wasn't
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: always telling you why it won't work? Y'all? Can't stand
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: to have an idea and take it to somebody in
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: the first word out their mouth is why it won't work.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: So then when they come up with howard will work?
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: All of a sudden, now it's the idea. Man, how
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: many times I've been around people like that. Birds of
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: a feather flock together. If you hang with people who
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: don't do nothing, eventually you're gonna think it's okay not
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: to do nothing. To take inventory, prune the tree, separate yourself,
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: and remember it ain't your job to give nobody a
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: free ride. It is not your job. They will slow
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: your progress down. All right, those are my clothing, mom,
