- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Hardy got a radio show today? Is it? Everybody?
- 2:12Speaker 1: On a real positive note? Today? Is it? Today? Is
- 2:17Speaker 1: the day? You know, when I was in high school,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, my mother was a Sunday school teaching until
- 2:22Speaker 1: she passed. I would walk out the door every morning
- 2:26Speaker 1: on my way to school, and my mother used to say,
- 2:29Speaker 1: listen to me, son, hey, don't forget. Today is the
- 2:31Speaker 1: day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and
- 2:34Speaker 1: be glad in it. And you know, I ain't think
- 2:36Speaker 1: much of it. You know, it's just my mama being religious,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, my spiritual woman. So you know I just
- 2:42Speaker 1: took it as that. But as I've gotten older, man,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know that's registered more and more with me. Today
- 2:48Speaker 1: is the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 2:50Speaker 1: rejoice and be glad in it. That's pretty cool, man.
- 2:53Speaker 1: What better blessing will you get throughout the day than
- 2:57Speaker 1: the fact that he allowed you to live and see
- 2:59Speaker 1: it another day. See sometimes, man, when you're young, you
- 3:03Speaker 1: don't pay no attention to that. But all you got
- 3:05Speaker 1: to do is keep living, keep watching some people that
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know not be here anymore. Go to class reunions
- 3:12Speaker 1: and they're smaller. See people that you really loved. It
- 3:15Speaker 1: meant a lot till you leave this world, and all
- 3:18Speaker 1: of a sudden, man, immortality starts to matter a great
- 3:21Speaker 1: deal to you. Some of us learned this lesson sooner
- 3:25Speaker 1: than others. But I know, when you're young, man, you
- 3:28Speaker 1: know you think you're gonna be here for a while.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You think you got time to play around, You think
- 3:31Speaker 1: you got time to get it together, you got time
- 3:34Speaker 1: to make the mistakes. And but man, oh man, almost
- 3:37Speaker 1: every full blown adult that I know will tell you
- 3:40Speaker 1: and have said these words right here many times. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would see the reason I'm saying this because I
- 3:45Speaker 1: want you to hear them, because you're gonna use them.
- 3:47Speaker 1: If I only knew then what I know now. Do
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know how many people have said those words right there?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Because in time, man, you gain so much wisdom. Oh
- 3:57Speaker 1: but it ain't like nobody didn't tell you. Somebody told
- 4:01Speaker 1: you back then. Hey man, it's best to buckle down now,
- 4:03Speaker 1: he said, Hey man, you better quit wasting time. Hey, look,
- 4:06Speaker 1: do your best at all the times. You know, stop
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop worrying about that. I'm telling you, son, in a minute,
- 4:12Speaker 1: them clubs ain't gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute,
- 4:14Speaker 1: they're going out all the time. Ain't gonna mean nothing
- 4:17Speaker 1: to you. I can't tell you how many times I
- 4:18Speaker 1: repeat it to my kids. But man, today is a
- 4:22Speaker 1: different day, because today is the day that the Lord
- 4:24Speaker 1: has made. So he gave you a shot today. If
- 4:27Speaker 1: you woke up this morning, or if you're finishing your
- 4:30Speaker 1: day on your shift, he gave you a new day.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Nothing bigger than the fact that he woke you up today. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: why don't you do something about that? Why don't you
- 4:40Speaker 1: take advantage of it? How About if you start today?
- 4:43Speaker 1: How About if you stop hesitating today. How About if
- 4:46Speaker 1: you stop delaying it today? How about if you stop
- 4:48Speaker 1: procrastinating today. How About if you make today to day
- 4:51Speaker 1: that you go forward. I mean, man, let's all just
- 4:54Speaker 1: decide today, let's go for it. Let's put forth a
- 4:57Speaker 1: maximum effort today. I mean, really, man, what you're doing
- 5:00Speaker 1: you look, man, take advantage of this blessing of waking up,
- 5:04Speaker 1: do something to day. If you would just start the process, man,
- 5:08Speaker 1: start that business you always dreamed of. Go looking to
- 5:12Speaker 1: that other job you always yearn for. Go get the
- 5:14Speaker 1: training you need to get the promotion. Man, going back
- 5:17Speaker 1: to school. Man, go see what you need to do
- 5:20Speaker 1: to lift yourself to the next level. Stop waking up
- 5:23Speaker 1: every day seeing high it's gonna go, and start waking
- 5:26Speaker 1: up and do something about how it goes. If you
- 5:29Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. But you could people
- 5:32Speaker 1: talk about all the time, Man, it seemed like you're
- 5:34Speaker 1: always getting a blessing. Oh man, when you're talking to
- 5:37Speaker 1: a person, Listen to this. If you're talking to a
- 5:39Speaker 1: person and it seems like there's always a blessing coming
- 5:43Speaker 1: his way, let me tell you what that person doing.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That person is putting one foot in front of the next.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That person is putting forth some efforts out there. And
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's the only way God can bless you. God can
- 5:54Speaker 1: only bless you with your efforts. He can only put
- 5:57Speaker 1: his finger on the thing that you are doing or attempting.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That's all he can help you with. He that are
- 6:05Speaker 1: no jobs walking up to your door, knocking on your door.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But if you're beating the payment, if you're sitting in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the apps, if you own line, scouring somewhere to work,
- 6:14Speaker 1: somewhere to get a job, then God can touch somebody's
- 6:16Speaker 1: hard to hire you. But if you're sitting at the
- 6:19Speaker 1: house every day, smoke every day, drinking, But you wonder
- 6:23Speaker 1: why you just can't get a job. The a couple
- 6:25Speaker 1: of times you don't want out there, you got to
- 6:27Speaker 1: If you ain't got a job, you gotta go get
- 6:29Speaker 1: one every day. You got to go look for one
- 6:31Speaker 1: every single day. You can't take no days off. How
- 6:34Speaker 1: about today? How about today? If we decide today is
- 6:38Speaker 1: a day that we're gonna make the move. Today is
- 6:41Speaker 1: the day that we stop delaying, hesitating, procrastinating. Today is
- 6:45Speaker 1: today that we take a step in the direction to
- 6:47Speaker 1: do something for ourselves, for our lives, for our family,
- 6:50Speaker 1: for our wives, for our children, for our community, for
- 6:53Speaker 1: our school. Do something today, for crying out loud man,
- 6:58Speaker 1: stop sitting in your own life in just a stew
- 7:02Speaker 1: of misery in your own life. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If you are in a state of confusion, if you
- 7:08Speaker 1: are troubling, if you're stuck on what to do next,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you let me tell you what's happening. You're not doing enough.
- 7:14Speaker 1: That's what it is. Man. See what I get in
- 7:17Speaker 1: a place man where I don't know what the next
- 7:21Speaker 1: move is. It's because out unusually stalled out. See, this
- 7:25Speaker 1: is the way God works. This is the way He's
- 7:27Speaker 1: worked for me. Every time I'm busy and I'm about
- 7:31Speaker 1: the business of always trying to live my creed, which
- 7:34Speaker 1: is ABC. My motto is ABC always be closing. I'm
- 7:39Speaker 1: always working on something, something to close something. When you're
- 7:43Speaker 1: so busy with the business of improving yourself and doing
- 7:47Speaker 1: with yourself and becoming the best you you can be,
- 7:50Speaker 1: God is always working on your behalf behind some scene
- 7:56Speaker 1: of something that you're in the process of tempting to close.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But because you're not doing all you can do, you're
- 8:04Speaker 1: limiting you. You are because if your decision not to
- 8:07Speaker 1: give you all in all, you're limiting the opportunities for
- 8:10Speaker 1: God to put his finger on things and touch them
- 8:13Speaker 1: on your behalf. I don't know if the average person
- 8:18Speaker 1: really understands or knows what it takes to truly be
- 8:22Speaker 1: successful on whatever level you're talking about. But whatever that
- 8:26Speaker 1: level is, I don't care what a dollar amount you've
- 8:28Speaker 1: got attached to it, what level you've got, if you
- 8:31Speaker 1: have made the decision that you're going to be successful.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I think that a lot of people, the average person
- 8:37Speaker 1: does not know what that means. Whatever level you've decided
- 8:41Speaker 1: to be successful on. See, that's your level of faith,
- 8:44Speaker 1: that's where you see your life at. Well, guess what
- 8:48Speaker 1: you got to maximize your efforts to even get to
- 8:51Speaker 1: that level. So listen to me. If you want to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be successful at your church, if you want to be
- 8:56Speaker 1: successful in your relationship, if you want to be successful
- 8:59Speaker 1: down at the day kissing, if you want to be
- 9:01Speaker 1: successful at your college, if you want to be successful
- 9:05Speaker 1: on your job, guess what it's gonna take all you
- 9:08Speaker 1: got in that world to become a success. I don't
- 9:13Speaker 1: know why people think that if you don't want to
- 9:15Speaker 1: be what somebody else said, you ain't got to put
- 9:18Speaker 1: forth that effort. NA I ain't wrong. You've got to
- 9:21Speaker 1: put forth your maximum effort at whatever role you're trying
- 9:24Speaker 1: to accomplish, Lord have mercy. Man. How about today, though, y'all,
- 9:29Speaker 1: how about today today as a good one. Let's make
- 9:32Speaker 1: today today. Let's get out of that. Let's get on
- 9:34Speaker 1: with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinating, start today.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Watch God have something to put his finger on there.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And that's all you're trying to do. Man, to line
- 9:46Speaker 1: yourself up with God's grace. You got to put out
- 9:49Speaker 1: a lot of effort so God can put his finger
- 9:51Speaker 1: on something. You feel me today, I shall hope you
- 9:54Speaker 1: do because I'm on one today. Let's go. You're listening morning,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, down some possibilities today, and I want
- 10:06Speaker 1: to inform you that you are a part of all
- 10:08Speaker 1: those possibilities in your life. There's a possibility for you
- 10:12Speaker 1: to get it right today. There's a possibility for you
- 10:16Speaker 1: to progress today. There's a possibility for you to build
- 10:20Speaker 1: and continue your dreams. There's a possibility for you to
- 10:24Speaker 1: formulate some There's a possibility for you to succeed today.
- 10:29Speaker 1: All that depends on your mind set. You must want
- 10:34Speaker 1: to accomplish all of these things in order for the
- 10:37Speaker 1: process to start. It's up to you now what you're
- 10:40Speaker 1: gonna do with that information? Welcome to today. Uh man,
- 10:46Speaker 1: God is good. If you don't understand that, you need
- 10:49Speaker 1: to get the understanding that part of it right there.
- 10:51Speaker 1: God is good. Now what y'all gonna do with that information?
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna take mine and run with it. I'm going
- 10:58Speaker 1: to go forward with today and expect some great things
- 11:01Speaker 1: to happen in the event that something negative were too occurred.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Guess what, I know that this tool shall pass, and
- 11:10Speaker 1: I know that that will all work for the good
- 11:12Speaker 1: of me. It must be a lesson that I have
- 11:15Speaker 1: to learn or something. He's using me to show somebody
- 11:18Speaker 1: in my life how good he is. That's all it
- 11:21Speaker 1: ever is with me. So when you watch me falling,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you start laughing, keep laughing, because I'm fit to get up.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Then what you're gonna do? Maybe I'm here to teach
- 11:31Speaker 1: some people to quit laughing. You better know what you are.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm all righting perfectly, All right? Well what I just said,
- 11:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvard mart Show. You're a comedian man? What yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I didn't have some very unfunny things happened in my life.
- 11:52Speaker 1: But you laughing if you want to? Who watched the comeback, baby,
- 11:55Speaker 1: because in the end I'm gonna be smiling. Lady and gentlemen.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Shelley Strawberry Califf a real mouth to the South, that
- 12:01Speaker 1: boy Junior and the legend that that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Welcome back, Thank you, uncle man, Thank y'all, miss y'all. Man,
- 12:10Speaker 1: how y'all doing? Man? Everybody good man. J Let me
- 12:14Speaker 1: say somebody's saying all you to nobody, Happy New Years time.
- 12:25Speaker 1: First time I've seen it, Yes, sir, uh huh going
- 12:31Speaker 1: through what I had just went through. Man, I'm angry.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'm I'm angry about what you you just went through. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 1: what I just went through. Some things happen, but I'm
- 12:45Speaker 1: angry though, But how do I move forward? Because see
- 12:47Speaker 1: some things I want to say. Well, let me ask
- 12:50Speaker 1: you something. I know you may not want to share
- 12:54Speaker 1: what you went through, but you went through something that
- 12:56Speaker 1: you didn't agree with m hm. And you and you're
- 13:01Speaker 1: bitter about it. M okay. So now let me ask
- 13:05Speaker 1: you something. Are you bitter about the fact that he
- 13:08Speaker 1: brought you through it? Are you bitter about the fact
- 13:11Speaker 1: that you went through it? That's a question, that's a question. See. See,
- 13:16Speaker 1: so which one you want to be bitter about because
- 13:19Speaker 1: both of the things just happened. You went through it
- 13:22Speaker 1: and he bought you through it. Which one you want
- 13:25Speaker 1: to be bitter about? Oh? Well, five fold three? We
- 13:34Speaker 1: just pick one you want to be bitter about. You
- 13:37Speaker 1: want about what you went through. We'll be back. We'll
- 13:40Speaker 1: find out which better Junior pick when we come back.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening to show it is time now to start
- 13:48Speaker 1: your morning off with the nephew and run that brank
- 13:50Speaker 1: back what you got for his neff? You ain't no sigma.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Let's go Hello. Oh I'm trying to reach all greg please, Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: this is he? How you doing? My name is Bernard
- 14:03Speaker 1: five beta sigma. I'm over pledged RELATIONSHS giving you a
- 14:06Speaker 1: call to day man. You attended privew a m University.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah? Am I right? You attended per okay,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and from my understanding, you pledge five beta sigma and
- 14:20Speaker 1: fall of ninety one. That's correct, All right, that's the
- 14:23Speaker 1: the beta chapter. Correct. Yes, here's where we're having some
- 14:27Speaker 1: problems here going through the records, going through the records,
- 14:29Speaker 1: actually looking at the records that we have here at headquarters.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You're not actually an official member of five Beta SIGNA.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I don't know what has taken place. But wait a minute,
- 14:40Speaker 1: what what you mean? No, not a member? Looking at
- 14:42Speaker 1: our records here at national headquarters, it's indicating that you're
- 14:45Speaker 1: not an official member of five Beta Sigma. I don't
- 14:48Speaker 1: know what could have gone wrong with this? Now, Now
- 14:52Speaker 1: that ain't right, man, That ain't right, because see, depth
- 14:54Speaker 1: of data is recognized nationally, so why wouldn't I be
- 14:57Speaker 1: nationally recognized. I'm not certain, sir. Maybe it's something that
- 15:00Speaker 1: took place on that that actual line of Fall ninety one.
- 15:04Speaker 1: We're actually going to have to do some research on
- 15:06Speaker 1: everything that's going on with your line as well as
- 15:09Speaker 1: the chapter. But how is that possible? If they gave
- 15:11Speaker 1: if they gave me a certificate in the in the
- 15:13Speaker 1: plaque and I got my pen and I mean I'm
- 15:16Speaker 1: a segment what you mean? Okay, sir, I don't know
- 15:19Speaker 1: what I'm looking at here, and and and please understand,
- 15:22Speaker 1: I want to try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:25Speaker 1: we need to do this matter. Who else? Is there
- 15:27Speaker 1: somebody there like a oversee, uh maybe the head president
- 15:32Speaker 1: or your branch or something I can talk to or something. Well,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm actually I am actually over pledged relations, and I
- 15:37Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call personally so we can
- 15:40Speaker 1: try to rectify the matter. And it's going to take
- 15:42Speaker 1: us some time to hron this thing out. But what
- 15:44Speaker 1: I need you to do as at this point. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: And you know what the problem is that I'm noticing
- 15:49Speaker 1: is that all of the people that were on your
- 15:51Speaker 1: line they are official for some reason. Mister Gregg is
- 15:55Speaker 1: an official, so I want to I don't understand that
- 15:58Speaker 1: because I was the line president. So how how is
- 16:01Speaker 1: everybody else able to be a signa and not me
- 16:04Speaker 1: when I did all the paperwork that it takes to
- 16:08Speaker 1: for the process to be right. I don't understand it, sir.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You know what, brother, I can't call you brother for
- 16:14Speaker 1: the fact that you're right now. I'm trying me brother,
- 16:16Speaker 1: because I'm a Sigma. So here's what we're gonna have
- 16:18Speaker 1: to do. Greg. We're gonna have to get you to
- 16:21Speaker 1: first of all, if you're dealing with anybody alumni wise,
- 16:24Speaker 1: we're asking that you don't go to any meetings right now.
- 16:27Speaker 1: We're also asking that you don't wear any five beta
- 16:30Speaker 1: Sigma pal for noll you PA. At this point, we
- 16:33Speaker 1: want to make sure and get clarity that you are
- 16:35Speaker 1: definitely a brother. Amn. Man, I am definitely a brother.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Do you know what I had to go through to
- 16:41Speaker 1: get where I am today? To be a signal all
- 16:44Speaker 1: the do y'all, y'all took y'all dudes whatever to that.
- 16:47Speaker 1: If you're taking my dudes, you should be able to
- 16:49Speaker 1: tell me yo. Man um, we got this going on.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Certain things that going on with your line. We need
- 16:54Speaker 1: to we need to check you. You took our money.
- 16:56Speaker 1: That's the thing. I'm seeing checks that have gone through
- 16:59Speaker 1: for other people on that line. I don't say, man,
- 17:02Speaker 1: And to this day, I'm like a lifetime member, So
- 17:04Speaker 1: what the hell are you talking about? I have no
- 17:06Speaker 1: records indicating that your lifetime memember. That's what I'm saying, sir.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We got that dog. Somebody needs to tell me something today.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We're gonna try to get to the end of this
- 17:15Speaker 1: by the end of the week. It's gonna take no no, no, no,
- 17:17Speaker 1: but no, but no, you're not understanding what I'm saying, man,
- 17:19Speaker 1: because I'm a signal to the heart. Dude. You know
- 17:21Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Y'all playing with my heart right now? Man,
- 17:24Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna do that? And get away with I
- 17:26Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. You know, here's what we
- 17:28Speaker 1: can do. We can bring you back in and do
- 17:31Speaker 1: another pledging process. Pledge. Did you understand what you just
- 17:34Speaker 1: said to me? No? Man, that ain't happen. Dog, I've
- 17:37Speaker 1: been through this already. Man, I'm not pledging. I'm not
- 17:40Speaker 1: signing my name on nothing else because I have pledged.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I need to get somebody on
- 17:46Speaker 1: the phone that can answer my question. I want to
- 17:48Speaker 1: know what's going on, okay right now? And I understand
- 17:51Speaker 1: you know, the disbelief of what's going on, I really do.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You obviously don't. So you're the brother. Brother, We're gonna
- 17:57Speaker 1: try to what year did you grow across? Did you
- 18:00Speaker 1: off the saying? I mean, tell me what's going on? Brother?
- 18:02Speaker 1: I'm fall eighty nine, brother. And now what we're gonna
- 18:05Speaker 1: have to do right now is, first of all, no pairaphernalia. No,
- 18:10Speaker 1: you're trying to tell me that I can't well what's
- 18:13Speaker 1: nearest and dearest to my heart, next to my wife
- 18:15Speaker 1: and my child. You're telling me that I can't go
- 18:17Speaker 1: around and proclaim what I am. That's like telling me
- 18:20Speaker 1: I can't be black. What the hell you're saying. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: another thing we're going to get you to do. Understand,
- 18:24Speaker 1: you have a brand, a Sigma brand that's going to

- 18:48Speaker 1: that I've been wearing for almost fifteen years? Are you crazy?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Come on, man, that's some crazy. So we gotta get

- 20:28Speaker 1: Are you liking to say what you got to say?
- 20:30Speaker 1: You ain't getting this. This is nephew, Timmy from the

- 20:44Speaker 1: Let one more thing, man, What is the baddest radio
- 20:46Speaker 1: show in the land? Greg? What is it? Steve Harvey
- 20:49Speaker 1: Morning Show? Ain't all right? Thank you, nephew. Coming up next,
- 20:55Speaker 1: it is asked to selo with our chief Love Officer,
- 20:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. Right after through this, you're
- 21:01Speaker 1: listening to show. Coming up at the top of the
- 21:05Speaker 1: hour and entertainment news, Prince Harry drops his memoir. The
- 21:09Speaker 1: book is called Spare. It's out today and he is
- 21:12Speaker 1: spilling the tea. In Celebrity couple News, Yeah, chadow Chosinko
- 21:17Speaker 1: is engaged, and in Celebrity Divorce News, Real Housewives of
- 21:22Speaker 1: Atlanta reality star Kenya Moore says that she is in
- 21:25Speaker 1: the world's longest divorce. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:29Speaker 1: stories at the top of the right. Now it's time
- 21:35Speaker 1: to ask the clo all right. First up is Trip.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Trip is in Columbus. Out of Columbus, he writes, My
- 21:43Speaker 1: wife and I are in our mid sixties and she
- 21:45Speaker 1: isn'to getting massages and wants to go to the spa
- 21:48Speaker 1: a couple of times a month. Now. I went with her.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I went with her one time, and I don't like
- 21:54Speaker 1: people rubbing on me like that. I don't like that
- 21:57Speaker 1: she prefers for men to do her massages, and I
- 21:59Speaker 1: don't think that's appropriate. Is there a way to stop
- 22:03Speaker 1: her from going? No, no, stop, dog, it ain't no way.
- 22:10Speaker 1: You and your sixty you don't like nobody rubbing on
- 22:12Speaker 1: you. You You you've been stopped rubbing on her. She's going
- 22:16Speaker 1: to the massage parlor. Now, I'm with you. I don't
- 22:19Speaker 1: care for massages either. I've only had one. I liked
- 22:22Speaker 1: woman or man, male or female. What ain't no man for?
- 22:29Speaker 1: That's not that's a professional though. Give a damn what
- 22:33Speaker 1: a professional act? That's what he does, Shelly. I don't
- 22:38Speaker 1: want a professional boxer punching me in the face. So
- 22:40Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if you're a professional, but
- 22:44Speaker 1: you're going to get a massage. I don't want a
- 22:47Speaker 1: professional wrestler throwing my ass over his head. Back. Yeah,
- 22:52Speaker 1: that you a perfession. I don't want a professional police
- 22:56Speaker 1: stopping me. What the heir profession got to do it?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Ain't no man, you know, man put it all on
- 23:02Speaker 1: his hand and start rubbing me. What what the hell? Man?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Please not Steve Harvey. Now you call that whatever you
- 23:09Speaker 1: want to call it, and you can get to call it,
- 23:11Speaker 1: y'all can get the texting and and and and and
- 23:14Speaker 1: and twittering and Steve you whatever you I said that
- 23:20Speaker 1: and I mean that, that ain't happening. So there's no
- 23:25Speaker 1: way he can stop his wife from going and getting
- 23:27Speaker 1: massages from now. And if you do massage me, I
- 23:32Speaker 1: wanted to be a very very unattractive woman. That's what
- 23:36Speaker 1: I want, all right. I want want. I want your
- 23:39Speaker 1: name to be Huger, moving on, Brune Hilda. I want
- 23:44Speaker 1: something like that. We have moved on. Lenita and Memphis says.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm a twenty seven year old single mother of twins
- 23:52Speaker 1: and the daddy and I recently broke up because he
- 23:54Speaker 1: cheated on me. He told me that he and the
- 23:57Speaker 1: girl are in love and U I call her so
- 24:00Speaker 1: she could hear the trends crying at the same time. Yes,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I did that. I called her. She fell out of
- 24:06Speaker 1: love with him and apologize to me. Now he's saying,
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'm evil. Was I wrong for that? That's pretty that's
- 24:13Speaker 1: a pretty slick move here. Yeah, that's me. Yeah, do
- 24:17Speaker 1: you love what you did? I know you love him,
- 24:20Speaker 1: but do you know what your love has caused us
- 24:22Speaker 1: to do? First of all, he's young. You don't tell
- 24:27Speaker 1: a woman you're breaking up with that you in love
- 24:30Speaker 1: with the other woman just to let dog. Gon't go
- 24:33Speaker 1: where you're going, don't don't try to rub salt in
- 24:36Speaker 1: the woman's wound. And all this him making and how
- 24:40Speaker 1: she got the other girl number? You call and ask
- 24:42Speaker 1: if I'm in love with you? Stupid? Yeah, he got,
- 24:45Speaker 1: he got what coming he got, He got exactly what
- 24:48Speaker 1: was coming to him. Yeah, yeah, were you were perfectly fine.
- 24:52Speaker 1: What do you want to call you? Evil? For evil's
- 24:54Speaker 1: telling you I'm in love with somebody else, and that's
- 24:58Speaker 1: that's evil. And she's sitting there, the baby and each chance,
- 25:01Speaker 1: yeah it just had twins, and then you're gonna tell
- 25:04Speaker 1: her not now all of a sudden you ain't in
- 25:06Speaker 1: love with it? That was evil? Right, Yes, no, baby,
- 25:10Speaker 1: you was all right? Then let me hit the kids crying,
- 25:14Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Shiwana and Nashville, Chiwanna writes,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I've got a problem with a co worker that likes
- 25:20Speaker 1: to grab on me and hit me when she talks.
- 25:23Speaker 1: The more detailed her stories are, the more she likes
- 25:26Speaker 1: to touch me. I'm very sarcastic, but she's not good
- 25:30Speaker 1: at picking up hens. So should I come right out
- 25:33Speaker 1: and tell her or punch her really hard the next
- 25:36Speaker 1: time she grabs me? Yeah? I like option B. That's
- 25:39Speaker 1: why I like that. One like that. That's First's gonna
- 25:44Speaker 1: be a surprise. But then when you do it, when
- 25:49Speaker 1: you see the shock on her face, then you bust
- 25:51Speaker 1: out laughing. Yeah, I promise you would have stopped then.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I mean, I prefer option BE. Yeah, sarcasm hasn't worked.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I like option BE. Tell the story from a distance
- 26:08Speaker 1: what you can be doing right right exactly? Junior? All right,
- 26:12Speaker 1: last one, Steve, here's the last one. Mackenzie and Tampa says.
- 26:16Speaker 1: My father married a woman that moved into the house
- 26:19Speaker 1: I grew up in when my parents got divorced. I
- 26:22Speaker 1: went with my mom and it irritates me to see
- 26:25Speaker 1: her two children in my house. My dad is so insensitive?
- 26:30Speaker 1: Are my feelings justified? Should I stop visiting? Well, you
- 26:34Speaker 1: feel what you want to feel, but that's the house
- 26:38Speaker 1: you grew up grew up in. That ain't your house.
- 26:40Speaker 1: You ain't made one house payment. Your dad adn't bought
- 26:43Speaker 1: that house now when your mama left you, when with
- 26:46Speaker 1: your mama, I ain't got nothing to do with that dad.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Ain't what this question is about. And you gonna continue
- 26:50Speaker 1: to feel some kind of way because that's the house
- 26:53Speaker 1: you grew up in. But in the words of my daddy,
- 26:57Speaker 1: you can either get over it or dad, man, your choice.
- 27:02Speaker 1: What you want to do. You want to get over
- 27:05Speaker 1: or you want to die? Man? What you want to do?
- 27:10Speaker 1: That's I can't do nothing else. I can call a law.
- 27:12Speaker 1: What you want me to do it? I'm Raymond on
- 27:16Speaker 1: the side of the bed all I can't come and
- 27:18Speaker 1: down now. I call in law. What you want me
- 27:21Speaker 1: to do? Here? That's all I got for you. So
- 27:24Speaker 1: question Steve, you and you're hypothetical. Of course, you get divorced,
- 27:30Speaker 1: your wife gets the house in the divorce, she remarries
- 27:34Speaker 1: her new husband and his family moves into that house.
- 27:37Speaker 1: What house the house that she got in the divorce?
- 27:42Speaker 1: I know, but you left out the park. I know
- 27:44Speaker 1: you got the house in you talk me one, I
- 27:46Speaker 1: just fall I'm talking about the house that she had
- 27:51Speaker 1: won in the divorce. That's the one I'm talking about.
- 27:53Speaker 1: But now he's moving into what though, he's moving into
- 28:01Speaker 1: the house that your ex wife got in the divorce
- 28:04Speaker 1: when you guys got divorced. Yeah, yeah, she got a
- 28:07Speaker 1: ward at the house and justifiably can leave that. Yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Well if I know a man that's been moving now,
- 28:16Speaker 1: you walking around on all them floors I pay for Yes, Yes,
- 28:21Speaker 1: courting on light switches that I put in there, sitting
- 28:25Speaker 1: up in my office. Yeah. No, see that that home
- 28:32Speaker 1: no longer exists. To the ground I'm talking about to
- 28:40Speaker 1: the ground, and no, I'm going to jail. They can
- 28:43Speaker 1: roll this tape back on this show to burning it
- 28:49Speaker 1: up from all eight corners. Yes, I've counted the corners
- 28:52Speaker 1: on the house. It's eight corners. I'm taking five both
- 28:55Speaker 1: corners and one in the middle of the roof and downstairs. Everybody,
- 28:59Speaker 1: when the police get here, I'm gonna be at the
- 29:02Speaker 1: gate shooting. By the time department, it's gonna be red hot.
- 29:12Speaker 1: All right. We have to move on now. Coming up
- 29:15Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we will have some
- 29:17Speaker 1: entertainment news for birds is dying in trees next to
- 29:21Speaker 1: They're done. You're listening to show well. Prince Harry is
- 29:30Speaker 1: dropping his brand new memoir today. It's titled Spare and
- 29:33Speaker 1: Just in case you didn't know, a common phrase with
- 29:36Speaker 1: the British Royal family is that you want an air
- 29:38Speaker 1: and a spare, meaning you have secured the bloodline with
- 29:41Speaker 1: an air and just in case something happens to the air,
- 29:45Speaker 1: you have a spare. Anyway, Harry is spilling a lot
- 29:48Speaker 1: of tea about the Royal family. Harry revealed how his
- 29:51Speaker 1: brother Prince William hid him as they came to blows
- 29:54Speaker 1: over Harry's wife, Megan Marcle. Harry claimed that the Prince
- 29:57Speaker 1: of Wales grabbed him by the collar and threw him
- 30:00Speaker 1: on the floor during a fight, which left him with
- 30:02Speaker 1: visible injuries. Meanwhile, the hashtag shut up Harry is starting
- 30:07Speaker 1: to trend in England because people are tired of Prince
- 30:10Speaker 1: Harry complaining about his privilege life. We know the Duke
- 30:13Speaker 1: of Itingham is here. Oh there he is, I don't notice.
- 30:22Speaker 1: How about Oh my god, it's been so long, hime, hey, hey,
- 30:26Speaker 1: how are you? Oh my god, I'm here. Finally I'm
- 30:30Speaker 1: here to talk about this. I was like morning, morning, Happy,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I be here, I'm here. To discuss. Go ahead, time,
- 30:44Speaker 1: I kneel like down down, I've got a bed black hemmet.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Some things I just summoned off from country in their country.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I'm here. What is your question? You're asking me all night? Well,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I mean, what what is your take on Prince Harry's
- 31:02Speaker 1: book It's called Spirits out today? And then the fact
- 31:05Speaker 1: that the royals over there want him to shut up
- 31:08Speaker 1: because he is spilling a lot of tea. Tell it,
- 31:11Speaker 1: tell it all, damn it, tell the truth. I don't know.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Shut up, Harry, Harry has inside information. Tell it. You
- 31:22Speaker 1: need to know that this thing is not what they
- 31:25Speaker 1: say it as. The royal family is a bunch of them,
- 31:29Speaker 1: a bunch of them. They're not justified and what they're doing.
- 31:33Speaker 1: They didn't like Megan because of her scan color. I
- 31:37Speaker 1: wish I could write the book. But if I write
- 31:40Speaker 1: the book, it's over. Yeah. When is your book coming out? Dude,
- 31:45Speaker 1: I'm not surrounded. I'll being a bunch of tea bags.
- 31:47Speaker 1: If im and my mom, oh the strongest form of
- 31:54Speaker 1: black tea, You'll have a hand in your life. So
- 31:58Speaker 1: happy when they just go ahead and tell the truth.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Megan is a fine young woman, and they have to
- 32:03Speaker 1: lay because the love of his life was never been
- 32:06Speaker 1: accepted by those racists people over there in the palace,
- 32:10Speaker 1: all of them. The brother. Yeah, he and his brother
- 32:13Speaker 1: got into a fifth fight. Did you see the fight, Duke?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Were you there when the wind was now? Of course
- 32:19Speaker 1: I was there. I saw the entire thing. William and
- 32:22Speaker 1: Harry brother's going to blows. What happened? William really knock
- 32:26Speaker 1: carried down William waiting, his ugly ass, did everything in
- 32:30Speaker 1: his power. Because Harry's the mall attractive one. William has
- 32:35Speaker 1: always been the ugly one, and they struggled with it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: That's how he got megan, because he was flying, always
- 32:43Speaker 1: been the fly one. I was sadden. Now hein't knocked
- 32:47Speaker 1: hit him from behind, That's what he did. He's not
- 32:49Speaker 1: telling you that I saw it. I started to jump
- 32:52Speaker 1: in and help Harry, but I said, oh my god, hello,
- 32:55Speaker 1: that'll be the end of my black ass. I was
- 33:04Speaker 1: quietly in the corner, acting like I was peeling a potato. Oh,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I don't make anything. I don't really do a damn thing.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I just always appeared to me. Look, I just stay well.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I haven't worked in thirty five year. I don't do anything.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I just hang out because they know they need a
- 33:28Speaker 1: black to say that they're not racist. So I am
- 33:31Speaker 1: that black or whatever. Reporters come through, they want someone
- 33:37Speaker 1: standing close by the go and get hell and I'll
- 33:41Speaker 1: come out and take a picture just up here. Did
- 33:44Speaker 1: you ever talk to Megan? She's I pulled it to
- 33:48Speaker 1: the side a couple of times. I tried to wander,
- 33:50Speaker 1: what was gonna happen. Gosh, she denied it. No, it's
- 33:58Speaker 1: gonna be fine. It's gonna be fine. Oh black ass, No, Edwalk,
- 34:02Speaker 1: It'll never be fine. You're in racist ass British, just
- 34:07Speaker 1: like my people are from racist ass America. Not gonna happen.
- 34:12Speaker 1: They're never going to accept you. You're not pure. They
- 34:16Speaker 1: want white people, They love white. They think white as right.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Sick of them had a chance to have some real
- 34:24Speaker 1: style and beauty in there. The only people to have
- 34:26Speaker 1: a beautiful that came out of that entire palace was
- 34:29Speaker 1: Diana and her. Everyone else look at Prince Charles, mistress.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, queen, now you know that? Oh my god,
- 34:42Speaker 1: have you seen the foutos? She's the queen now, No,
- 34:50Speaker 1: no one says all hell to the queen. They all
- 34:53Speaker 1: go oh hell, the queen you, oh god, you having it.
- 35:02Speaker 1: They're not even celebrating death. This is a disaster. So
- 35:08Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to the book. Call u spell spe
- 35:18Speaker 1: we rich spell. That's what it's for. That's amazing. They
- 35:25Speaker 1: have a wonderful life now, they're making money, they're very
- 35:28Speaker 1: well revered and everything you know. Shut up, Harry, stopped
- 35:31Speaker 1: telling the truth, Harry, keep running your Mike Palot tell
- 35:35Speaker 1: it all, Okay, run it out the flag pole, tell
- 35:40Speaker 1: the truth. The queen is dead. Talet, all right, I
- 35:46Speaker 1: think you have a dame of a damn about Charles
- 35:49Speaker 1: Talat and cut those damn horns off. All right, thank you,
- 35:58Speaker 1: the early aviding hand. Twenty minutes. You're welcome. Coming up
- 36:03Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, Steve is gonna help some
- 36:06Speaker 1: people get healthy this year. We'll talk about it right
- 36:09Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show, all right, So Steve,
- 36:14Speaker 1: you're in New York right now, and you'll be a
- 36:16Speaker 1: special guest. I love this. You're going to be a
- 36:19Speaker 1: special guest on Sherry Shepherd's new talk show tomorrow. That's
- 36:23Speaker 1: gonna be fun. What a great show she has. Love
- 36:25Speaker 1: her new show, such great energy. UM can't wait to
- 36:29Speaker 1: see you. Sherry has done as good a job if
- 36:32Speaker 1: I've seen anybody do a on a talk show. Yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 1: she has all the two. She's very, very engaging, she's
- 36:41Speaker 1: very likable, she's very authentic, and she has the nerve
- 36:45Speaker 1: to be funny. Yeah. Yeah, it's like she was made
- 36:48Speaker 1: for this role. She was. You know, the timing is
- 36:51Speaker 1: right for her right now. You're also going to be
- 36:53Speaker 1: Steve on the Ahota and Jenna Show, the Today Show.
- 36:57Speaker 1: You're gonna be on with those beautiful ladies. Yeah, do
- 37:00Speaker 1: that too. So now why are you going you run
- 37:03Speaker 1: this mission now to help people get healthy? Well, my
- 37:07Speaker 1: new product is out. It's called Elevate You, and it's
- 37:10Speaker 1: a green drink that I came up with that I
- 37:13Speaker 1: took me a year and a half to get the
- 37:16Speaker 1: right formula it had because I've been taking green drinks
- 37:20Speaker 1: from different companies before and always understood, but I always
- 37:24Speaker 1: knew what was missing, and so I finally got with
- 37:26Speaker 1: somebody that could put first of all the things that
- 37:28Speaker 1: was missing, because all green jakes do address you on
- 37:32Speaker 1: a certain level, but I wanted to go deep into
- 37:34Speaker 1: the cellular level, because if you drink this drink, it goes,
- 37:38Speaker 1: it goes at you with your mitochondriacts, which is everything
- 37:42Speaker 1: to do with your cellular development. So that's been really
- 37:45Speaker 1: really helping me a lot of ladys. So I wanted
- 37:47Speaker 1: to do something to help everybody else. So I came
- 37:50Speaker 1: out with this new product. It's not a gimmick, it's
- 37:52Speaker 1: not a gag. It's the real deal. They set me down,
- 37:54Speaker 1: They had me tell my truth about what really motivated me.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I had a couple of things I was dealing with
- 38:00Speaker 1: and in secrecy, just trying to get through it. And uh,
- 38:03Speaker 1: I've started developing more energy, you know, I mean like
- 38:06Speaker 1: even flying back, you know, being in New York. You know,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm handling this jet LaGG. Jet LaGG is real. Oh,
- 38:13Speaker 1: by the way, jet lag is real. Don't let nobody
- 38:18Speaker 1: fool you about that. You drink what you want to drink.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Jet lag real. Yeah, ain't no green drink for that.
- 38:25Speaker 1: But it does help me get over it and get
- 38:28Speaker 1: through it better than I used to. And so I'll
- 38:30Speaker 1: be out promoting those promoting a product on Sherry Shepherd
- 38:34Speaker 1: on hold up, I'm doing h. Rachel Ray's show. I'm

- 39:27Speaker 1: Yes you did, sir. Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 39:30Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll talk about celebrating your winds too early,
- 39:34Speaker 1: too early. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 39:38Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, so we all know that
- 39:41Speaker 1: sometimes you can celebrate your winds too early. Before Republican
- 39:46Speaker 1: Kevin McCarthy was voted in after fifteen times fifteen as
- 39:54Speaker 1: Speaker of the House. Word has it that a Republican
- 39:57Speaker 1: representative sent a letter saying that Kevin McCarthy he was
- 40:00Speaker 1: illegally occupying the Speaker's house, basically saying that he hasn't
- 40:04Speaker 1: won it yet, So what does that mean he needs
- 40:07Speaker 1: to be sworn in He hasn't taken officially. Yeah, he's yeah,
- 40:12Speaker 1: uh huh. So So here's a question for you guys,
- 40:16Speaker 1: without getting political, of course, is there a time in
- 40:19Speaker 1: your life where you celebrated something before you had it?
- 40:23Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Before you should have come
- 40:27Speaker 1: on what? Oh God? I did? What happened? I got
- 40:33Speaker 1: I booked the show. It was a Jamie Jamie FARSI
- 40:37Speaker 1: him to do a show called um uh it was
- 40:40Speaker 1: it was oh God, variety show like that and and
- 40:46Speaker 1: the show. And I came home, celebrated through a party
- 40:50Speaker 1: that I gotta. I got a TV sto and in
- 40:55Speaker 1: the show. Never happened. God, so never happened. Oh you
- 41:03Speaker 1: spend all that money? Oh Man got a call from
- 41:06Speaker 1: his manager at the time, was Marcus King. Got a
- 41:09Speaker 1: call from Mark We got your own shop? Were good?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Oh good Man went home, throw a party, spent a
- 41:14Speaker 1: whole bunch of money. Yeah, did not happen at all,
- 41:19Speaker 1: just spending money. What about you, junior? Oh the thing
- 41:24Speaker 1: they tease me about every time I go back to Houston.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I mean playing against Wooly Ride High School and football.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I was running back. I broke out from the one
- 41:31Speaker 1: yard last, ran all the way to the fire. I
- 41:35Speaker 1: started putting my hand up and got tackled at the other.
- 41:39Speaker 1: One said, you didn't know. So now my whole name
- 41:43Speaker 1: at the barber shop is nine and nine didn't come
- 41:49Speaker 1: down to nine. You went to wooler Ridge, right high school? Man.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I celebrated, just yeah, all right, come on, Steve. I
- 42:04Speaker 1: knew you have something my biggest Womans nineteen seventy eight. Yea,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I ordered that triple plumb cutness Vinyl, Vinyl roof crushed
- 42:21Speaker 1: the Loure seats Burgundy, burgundy, burgundy white stared wheel. Wrapp
- 42:28Speaker 1: had already ordered it because of the I was getting
- 42:32Speaker 1: a big commission check for selling this life insurance couple
- 42:36Speaker 1: life insurance policy to this couple. It was all a goal,
- 42:40Speaker 1: she said, I just need my husband to see this.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Can you come by one more time? I came by,
- 42:46Speaker 1: I was I had to brochure in my briefcase of
- 42:48Speaker 1: the cutness. He said, we're not gonna do it. What
- 42:54Speaker 1: excuse me? Excuse me? Now that's what the husband said.
- 42:57Speaker 1: We're not gonna do it. We don't want the policy.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna look somewhere else. So I lost two things
- 43:03Speaker 1: that day. What well, that night, I lost the cutlasts
- 43:08Speaker 1: because now there's no way I can get it because
- 43:10Speaker 1: I ain't got the money. But I went to work
- 43:13Speaker 1: the next day and lost my job after the white
- 43:19Speaker 1: dude said, and we're not gonna do it. Yeah, because
- 43:22Speaker 1: when I got up, I ain't cuss him out. But
- 43:26Speaker 1: the table got turned over in the tables, just don't
- 43:31Speaker 1: get turned over the table table. My hand got caught
- 43:37Speaker 1: up under when I stood up real fast, know you
- 43:41Speaker 1: flipped that table? That was nineteen seventy eight. I'm straighthood.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I ain't famous, I ain't I ain't told a joke
- 43:51Speaker 1: yet for a quarter, didn't have a brand to concern
- 43:56Speaker 1: myself with. Was wide open and available for all lawsuits.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Because I have nothing, you can win. So nineteen seven
- 44:04Speaker 1: eight was the prime time to mess with me. I
- 44:07Speaker 1: had nothing. Golden gloves, yeah, flipping. I got into work,
- 44:13Speaker 1: I walk came in the next morning, everybody was looking
- 44:16Speaker 1: at me. Damn hard you good, Tom, want to see
- 44:19Speaker 1: you all right? Coming up next, the nephew was in
- 44:27Speaker 1: the building with the prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:32Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 44:38Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:41Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is why
- 44:44Speaker 1: do they have matching pajamas? Why do they have matching pajamas?
- 44:49Speaker 1: We'll talk about it up coming up in just a
- 44:54Speaker 1: few because right now the nephew is here with today's

- 54:24Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here It
- 54:26Speaker 1: is berry letter subject, why do they have matching pajamas? Why?
- 54:32Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am writing to get your opinion
- 54:35Speaker 1: on a big issue I'm having with my boyfriend. We've
- 54:38Speaker 1: been together for three years, and I haven't spent any
- 54:41Speaker 1: holidays with him and his family. He spends my birthdays
- 54:45Speaker 1: with me, but he's usually with his family when it's
- 54:48Speaker 1: his birthday. I know that if a man treats his
- 54:51Speaker 1: mother nicely, it's a sign of how he'll treat his woman,
- 54:54Speaker 1: but not in this case. I practically had to beg
- 54:56Speaker 1: him to meet his mom and sister. My therapist isn't
- 55:00Speaker 1: of my boyfriend, and she thinks I can do better,
- 55:03Speaker 1: but I'm in love with him and can't just toss
- 55:05Speaker 1: him away. This Christmas, we exchanged gifts early and he
- 55:09Speaker 1: flew three hours away to be with his family. We
- 55:13Speaker 1: are both forty two years old, so I hoped he'd
- 55:15Speaker 1: grown up since last year and didn't have to be
- 55:18Speaker 1: up under his mother for Christmas. I thought at the
- 55:21Speaker 1: least he'd invite me to go with him, but he didn't,
- 55:24Speaker 1: and I had to go to my parents house along
- 55:27Speaker 1: with my married brother and his family and my married
- 55:30Speaker 1: baby sister and her husband. My man and I barely
- 55:33Speaker 1: got to spend New Year's Eve together because his flight
- 55:36Speaker 1: was delayed for three hours. We celebrated my birthday on
- 55:39Speaker 1: January third, and at dinner, he slid me his phone
- 55:43Speaker 1: so I could take a picture of us. While I
- 55:46Speaker 1: had his phone, his sister sent him a photo that
- 55:49Speaker 1: popped up on his phone. It was a picture of him,
- 55:53Speaker 1: his sister, his mama, and a pretty woman. He said,
- 55:58Speaker 1: the woman is his mom hairstylist. That may be true,
- 56:02Speaker 1: but why didn't Why did they all have unmatching pajamas?
- 56:09Speaker 1: Is she a relative? That's what I asked him. He
- 56:13Speaker 1: laughed and said, no, they're not related. I then decided
- 56:17Speaker 1: that he must be dating her, and he said, I'm
- 56:19Speaker 1: making a big deal over matching pajamas they decided to
- 56:23Speaker 1: wear for Christmas. He keeps joking about it, but I
- 56:26Speaker 1: need answers. Am I being a fool? Well? You know,
- 56:34Speaker 1: I don't know. This is all crazy and it sounds
- 56:37Speaker 1: very strange to me. Sure it could have been a coincidence,
- 56:41Speaker 1: and she could have just happened to have some matching
- 56:43Speaker 1: pajamas in her purse when she went over their house.
- 56:46Speaker 1: But you gotta know that this photo shoot was planned.
- 56:49Speaker 1: They've been in contact with this woman. He said she
- 56:52Speaker 1: wasn't a relative. So is she a good friend of
- 56:55Speaker 1: his mom's, the so called hairstylist, because she's very comfortable,
- 56:58Speaker 1: very familiar with the family and all of that, very
- 57:01Speaker 1: comfortable to just be your mom's hair stylist. So you've
- 57:05Speaker 1: really got to look at this whole scenario. He never
- 57:08Speaker 1: ever spends holidays with you, never ever. He doesn't even
- 57:12Speaker 1: invite you to holidays, so you could turn him down.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But I'll say this, whether she's a hairstylist or not,
- 57:19Speaker 1: which we don't think she is. This sounds like a
- 57:22Speaker 1: classic case of a man who's living some sort of
- 57:24Speaker 1: double life here, and you're a major player and it
- 57:27Speaker 1: you will continue to be just that until you do
- 57:30Speaker 1: something about it. You can't keep taking this from him.
- 57:33Speaker 1: It's easy to spend your birthday together because the whole
- 57:36Speaker 1: world isn't celebrating it, celebrating it. It's just you guys.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Christmas and the other big holidays are, on the other hand,
- 57:43Speaker 1: are trickier, a lot trickier, because everyone in the world
- 57:46Speaker 1: is celebrating them at the same time. Families are together.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You know you're getting side piece treatment here. They never
- 57:54Speaker 1: get to spend the actual holiday with their man. It's
- 57:57Speaker 1: always a day before, the day after, or in your case,
- 58:00Speaker 1: January third, not January first like the wives. So after
- 58:05Speaker 1: three years, I'm gonna say this to you, three years
- 58:08Speaker 1: of this neglect, you should be pretty tired of it.
- 58:10Speaker 1: And just because you're in love with him doesn't mean
- 58:14Speaker 1: he's good for you. Okay, Steve, lady, what is wrong
- 58:21Speaker 1: with you? Why did you write us? Why are we
- 58:26Speaker 1: dealing with this? You say you're writing to get your
- 58:29Speaker 1: opinion on a big issue that you haven't with your boyfriend. Now,
- 58:32Speaker 1: y'all been together three years and you ain't spent a
- 58:36Speaker 1: holiday with him or his family. Let me tell you something.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Holidays are for special people. If a man loves you,
- 58:50Speaker 1: he's gonna be with you. All right, Cool, Now, let's
- 58:54Speaker 1: move on. He spends my birthdays with me. So your
- 59:00Speaker 1: birthday could be April twenty night, Well, that ain't nothing.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Did July sixteenth? That that ain't nothing? Now? I bet
- 59:10Speaker 1: you if your birthday was December twenty fifth, I bet
- 59:13Speaker 1: he wouldn't be there. I bet if your birthday was
- 59:18Speaker 1: New Year's Eve, he wouldn't be there. See, lady, you
- 59:23Speaker 1: you you're ignoring and obvious. Uh, he's with his family
- 59:28Speaker 1: for his birthdays. I know if a man treats his
- 59:30Speaker 1: mother nicely, it's a sign of how he'll treat his woman.
- 59:33Speaker 1: But that's not the case. It is the case. You're
- 59:36Speaker 1: just not paying attention to it. It's a sign of
- 59:39Speaker 1: how he'll treat his woman. I practically had to beg
- 59:42Speaker 1: him to meet his mom and sister. Yeah, so she
- 59:45Speaker 1: let y'all meet. Now he'll go apart. That threw it
- 59:49Speaker 1: from me. My therapist isn't fun of my boyfriend and
- 59:51Speaker 1: fun of my boyfriend? And thanks? I could do better, right, well, anytime,
- 59:58Speaker 1: and I've seen this, come on anytime you need a
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: therapist to date, you damn show don't need to get
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: married because y'all ain't even in therapeutical situations yet. Y'all
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: just dating. If you dating and need a therapist to dating,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: this relationship is doomed. You need a therapist to be
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: your damn boy freddy girlfriend. Man, Please, this is this
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: is a mess. Right, So when I come back, I'll
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: just tell you the rest of the cause, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: all right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: letter subject why don't they have matching pajamas? We'll get
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. The subject is why do they have
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: matching pajamas? Well, she's dating this dude. She forty that
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: both of him is forty two years old, which his
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: boyfriend girlfriend a little bit late for that. He's been
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: together three years. And you ain't spending no holidays with
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: him and his family. That's called holidays is for special people.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: He spends his birthdays with me. Well, that's just your birthday,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: could be any day. That ain't no special day. He's
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: just special to you, like Shelly said. But he's usually
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: with his family when it's his birthday. I know, if
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: a man treats his mother nicely, it's a sign of
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: how he treats his woman. But that's not the case.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Yes it is the case. It's Finnish show up in
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: your letter. I practically had to beg him to meet
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: his mom and sister where you met him you ain't
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: been back over that since. Probably then you say, my
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: therapist isn't fund of my boyfriends. She thinks I could
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: do better if you need a therapist to date, if
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you have to have therapy to date. This don't have
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: marriage wrote on it nowhere, because as I said earlier,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you ain't even in a therapeutical situation yet. You ain't
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: even married therapeutical situation. You ain't even in that. You
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: ain't ready to go, but you all ready Now I'm
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: leaving fool you him? Where are you going so now?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: But I'm in love with him and I can't just
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: toss him away. Okay, Well, this Christmas we exchanged gifts
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: early and he flew three hours away to be with
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: his family once again, Holidays is for special people. We
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: are both forty two years old, so I had hope
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: listened to this line that he'd grown up since last
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: year and didn't have to be up under his mother
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: for Christmas. Wait a minute, so at forty one he
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: wasn't He wasn't full grown yet. Oh that's what she's saying. Yes,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you was hoping that at forty two he had grown
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: up and didn't have to be up under his mother.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: For Christmas. I thought, at the least he did invite
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: me to go with him, but he didn't, and I
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: had to go to my parents house along with my
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: married brother and his family, and my married baby sister
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and her husband my man. In that barely my man
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: and I barely got to spare New Year's eat together
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: because his flight was delayed for three hours. Well that's
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: what he told you. I told you he his flight
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: was delayed. He had to spend New Year's evey way.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: He was at we selling my birthday on January third.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: You get the third. You don't need to eat, got
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the girl? Why aren't you listening to this letter? And
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: at dinner he slid me his phone so I could
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: take a picture of us. While I had his phone,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: his sister sending him a photo that popped up on
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: his phone. It was a picture him, his sister, his mama,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: and a pretty woman. He said, the woman is his
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: mom's hair stylish. Let's stop right there, his mama's head style.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Now listen to me, He for the two. His mama
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: is at minimum in her sixties, possibly seventies. You know,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: good in hair where her hair stylish ain't gonna be attractive?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: No more. She ain't the hair stylish she worked at
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: the beauty show. She's been doing your mama hair that
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: pressing set for years now, That ain't her. That are
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: some very attractive hair stylist. I must tell you this
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: for a fact, Lord had mercies. Some of the finest
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: people I've ever seen have been hair styling, But not
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: your mama hair stylish though your mama hair stylist has
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: been styling and doing her bangs for twenty seven Yes,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: your mamma go to the beauty shop, you know her styles,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: then kept you with her kids before. You know that
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: pretty ass woman in that picture ain't no damn hair stylers,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Oh your mama's, he said. The woman is his mom's
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: hair styles. That may be true, the hell that's true.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Why did her seventy year old mamma gonna find this
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: young fine as girl that doesn't even know how to
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: do her Hell? They don't do hell like your mama
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: wearing no more. They stopped doing that long time ago.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: But why did they have all have old matching pajamas?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Because you wear matching pajamas at Christmas? Is she a relative? Now?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: He told you she wasn't a relative. He laughed and said, no,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: they're not related. Related with a fine as you didn't
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: hit that in the last related this. I then decided
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: that he must be dating her, and he said, I'm
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: making up a big deal of a matching padamas they
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: decided to wear for Christmas. He keeps joking about it,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: but I need answers. Am I being a fool? You're
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: not only being a fool. You've been a fool and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you is a fool. You know that's the answer to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: that question right there. You need a therapist to have
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: a boyfriend. You need to get rid of the boyfriend,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: so you had to you quit going therapy. If he
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: loves you, he spends special days with you. Holidays are
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: for special people. Those are the rules. You're not special.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: You're never going to be special. And the special chick
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: had on the matching pajamas, You're fine. Chick with the
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: matching pajamas. That's where he goes every Christmas. That's who
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: he went. You decide piece thank you all right? See
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: thank you post your on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Harvey has them on Instagram. Oh Mama got a five

- 1:07:21Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, now
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: it is time for junior and sports talk. Kh Junior,

- 1:07:31Speaker 1: last night was a college basketball championships in February, I
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: mean January. Did y'all see that? It was? It was crazy.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I know it was football, but it looked like sixty
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: five to seven Georgia sixty five TCU seven, and it's
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a blowout. I told my had me all hyping my
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: wings on, got my popcorn ready, got ice cream for nothing?
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: They get basketball scores. Man. It was bad. It was
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: something half man. It was. It was so crazy man,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: because like dude, I mean like after they first touchdown,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: you just didn't see nothing for the rest of the game.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: They should have him that touched down to the fourth.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: We could have really used that touchdown later. Yeah, way
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: too early. Man. Can you imagine being on that sideline
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: dog when when we're gonna get back down there never
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that's an end. So man, congratulations back to back national
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: football championships for the Georgia Bulldogs. Man. Since Bennett got
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: his second, he was also m VP of the game.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: That's his fourth one though for the college football playoffs. Man,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: he had a great career, man, a walk on at
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Georgia and came to back to back national championships. A
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: great story. Man, that's a great college story, right different Texas,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: good God, him and Dog. We need everybody. We need
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: a whole Georgian team, and we need every all twenty
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: two starters. We could just take the draft everybody with
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: a Georgia jersey on, come on, everybody on the bench. Yeah, man,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: and then John here Man. They fired Lovely Smith yesterday.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Many this controversy it is because he was so so junior.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: What I'm hearing is that Lovey kind of had an
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: idea he was gonna get fired anyway. It was so
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: love decided to go ahead and and win the game, yea,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: and take that number one pick with him exactly right,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: y'all gonna fire me. We're prepared to be number two, man.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Because it's it's also sad, man that you can't you
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: can't expect these guys to practice all week, then come
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: out here on Sunday and just throw the game so
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: y'all can get we can get another pick for next year,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: whoever coming in here next year for the help us
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to be a better team right away. Right, We're not.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: We got too many issues. We ain't got receivers, we
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: ain't got we ain't got dbs. I don't understand. I
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: don't understand why it was hard to lose. When you've
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: been losing all this year, it was hard for you
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: to lose one moment. It was the coach time. We
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: already tired with him one time. I know, I know, yeah,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I know. I mean, listen, we're trying to get the
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: first round peak. Yeah, but Chicago got the first round pick,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: but they don't need no quarterback. We still donna get
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the first quarterback. Well, they can get it. They could
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: get the first quarterback and use it as a bargaining too.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: They can trade a round for whatever. Hey, hanging out,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: love it? That's right, Junior. All right, thank you. Coming
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: up next at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, we
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: have a question for you, a situation ship question. TJ writes,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: My new girlfriend has an issue that I actually think
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: is criminal, and I don't know what to do about.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: TJ go ahead to Tommy. When we go to the
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: grocery store, she'll purposely, purposefully put certain items on the
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: bottom wrack of the shopping cart and then pretend to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: forget about them as she walks out without paying for them.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I've made it
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: clear that I won't ever be going shopping with her
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: if she pulls that, because I want no part of it.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Now she's calling me whack, and she says and says
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: it's wrong of me to feel that way just because
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: she's a quote, frugal shopper. Is this as big a
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: deal as I think it is? That's for you, miss,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: miss whacky whacket, Gonna get your ass arrested. Yes, that's
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that's still it. You have every right to feel that way,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: and if you don't like it, then you whack. Your
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: girl is thief. She's not ale shopper, y'all. No, that's
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: a thief. Your ass going to jail now, dog, don't
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: don't it. Don't don't. Don't build your life around this,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: because let me tell you something that ain't the only
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: thing she's still in. Like a case of water, hut,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the watermelon on the bottom, you know, good, twenty four
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: case of coat. Yeah, I know what go down now? Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: the can of ham and the turkey, the expensive items. Yeah,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: not this, but the self checkout though that you sir, Oh,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: that's how. That's why I told you. It's no way
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: they could have had self checkout when I was coming
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: in the eighties. It's no way. That's not a self
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: checkout these it is called free gross. When when she
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: gets caught, what is she saying? What do they do
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: when I forgot that was down on my bad? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: maybe I told you they're gonna shut your shut your
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: whack ass mouth and quit act wax real me and
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: go to prison here trying to alcohol straighten everything. You
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: got no time to show for your life. I want
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: a man with a record. Yeah all right, how much
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you didn't done? You ain't doing? No time? What you got?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: You a run up when you're talking about something. How
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: much time you done? Girl? Stared this case of water
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: up this bottom. You're scared of this little case right here.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: They ain't gonna pay that. You ain't gonna get him
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: six months. Oh, you ain't got six months for me?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Right right? Yeah, man, you need to start dating somebody else. Yeah.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Thank check the half and see if some of your
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: stuff ain't this still in right, let's not go t
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: J shout out since we're going there, since we talk
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: about J. But you know, some man, it's crazy now
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: in this world that you can have an affair at
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: your job and a fan consensual adults, Yeah, and lose
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: your damn job, confident that he will be getting his
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: job back, that he'll be back at work statements. Yeah,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: there's just a lot of people. I said that. When
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I stop, I said, I'll be back from your job.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: You stop me back on the stealing, I'll be back then, Yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: don't be back, Carla. I was confident when I said,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Miss Columbia, I was confident about your confidence. All Right,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. The mega million
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: billion dollars jackpot. That's right, I said, billion with a
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: bee just keeps getting bigger. No winner Friday night, nobody won,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: So yeah, go on, you played before, right, right? All
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: this is getting up number number two of billion, and

- 1:18:04Speaker 1: real crazy. You canna be looking real crazy. Thirty days
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: of that right there? You're gonna No, it's not good.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: That's not good. I can wait a year. It's a

- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of it. Okay, all right, So you're going for a year,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: nothing for a year? All right? All right? Would you
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: rather be despised by your family and friends? But greatly
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: loved by the jail in a republic, or be loved
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: by your family and friends and greatly despised by the
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: general public. Which one, Oh, don't want my family? Family better.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I've been both of them. I've been both of them.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: You've been both. I've been each for long stretches of
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: ten hated by your family and loved by the public,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: and ye loved by your family and hated by the public. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I've been both of them. From long piers often we
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: ever had a word? Man? He raised? He said, man,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: what I don't have both of them? Okay, all right,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: So you have not a choice between the two, you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: know hard, but experience if you had. I've had experience
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: with both, Tommy said, he chooses family at the end
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: of it. I rather had a family. Yeah. I stay
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: in the house. I've had to do that. You do
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: know that I've had to stay my ass in the house.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Just feel some love and support. It's gonna be all right, daddy,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: shut up, don't know if it's gonna be all right.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: We love you, Dan. That's today's probably would you rather
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: this ignorant show? Uh? Coming up? In forty nine minutes
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: after the hour, our last break of the day and
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: some closing remarks sport day baby, Dave Harvey. Right after this,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: you're listening to show all right, guys, here we are.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day on this Tuesday.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: It's been a good day, Junior in the building. Yes,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: thank you? Oh man, Oh my god. Yeah. Well that's
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: think a boy living my life. Man, I don't hand
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: out of head. I didn't. I hadn't done it at all. Yes,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I don't had I don't. I don't hadn't head it.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: You know, it's really man. I was talking to somebody
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: and he was talking about this guy was about forty
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: some years old. He said, he said, oh, mister Harvey,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: can I teach you something about manhood? I SA stopped
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: stop right there, man, let's just stop right there. What
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: is it? What is it you fit to teach me
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: about manhood that I don't know? Well, I'm gonna share
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: this lesson with you. Man, it's not gonna be about manhood.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: You can share a life lesson with me, but you
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: can't tell me nothing about manhood nothing. I have no
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: new lessons to learn about manhood. I can learn something
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: about life, about building, about growth development. I can learn
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: all of that. But there ain't nothing nothing you can
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: tell me about manhood. Zip I am an expert at manhood.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I ain't got no new lessons I can learn about manhood.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I've won, I've lost, I've overcome, I've been defeated. I've won,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I got the championship, I lost the title. I ain't
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: all what what you find to say? He said, Noah,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: And then what he shared with me was so damned simple.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I went, boy, boy, boy, I have grandkids. Yeah, and
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: as far as how all his kids, it's young one.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I'm teenagers. I said, boy, you don't even know what's
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: coming you. You you don't even know the rest of this.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: I got grandkids. What you're fit to tell me about manhood. So,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: but we were having a discussion earlier this morning, Junior,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: we never got to finish. What was your question, Junior? Well,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: I just you know, I have went through something, man,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: and I just I was angry, and ain't I was bitter,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and I was I was just trying to work my
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: way through it. And then you know, you pose this
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: question to me, man, say, well, but which one you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: want to be? When God pull you do? Which one
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: you want to be? You want to be bitter or
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you want to be which one? Well, do you want
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: to be bitter about what you was going through? Yeah,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: or you want to be bitter about what he pulled
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you through? Which which one you want to be bitter about?
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Because you do have a choice. Now, do you want
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: to be bitter about what you were going through? You
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: were angry about it because you felt like God had
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: allowed something to happen to you, that He wasn't there
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: for you, that he allowed this to occur. You felt
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: this was unfair, unjust, So you want to be bitter
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: about that or not that God that bought you through
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: it got you on the other side of it, you
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: want to be bitter about that? Which one do you
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: want to be bitter about? And let me share something
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: with you. That's what the average person gets. What this
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: is how you freeze your blessings because you better about
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the wrong thing. See how are you bitter about what
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: you going through or been through? Especially after God get
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you through it? Now you want to be mad at
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: him because he got you through it? Or you want
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to be mad at him because he allowed you to
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: go through it? See? See the going through it is
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the test most things happen to you is a test
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: of your faith. The rest of the stuff happens to
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you is lessons to get you to the next level.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: That's what I found my life to be, a life
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: full of lessons to the next level. And and and
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: a and Sometimes God uses strong people to teach weak people.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Sometimes God uses you and your strength and your survival
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: rate and the way you handle stuff to show people
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: who don't know how it's done. Somebody close to you,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Junior is going wild. I can't believe her. June right there,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: that boy something else. He keeps going down and keep
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: coming back. See, sometimes God uses the strong, some of
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: his best soldiers, because God ain't gonna put it on you.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: If you can't burick, he don't put nothing on you
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: that breaks you. Now you can allow the devil to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: come in and tell you God ain't listening, He don't
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: love you no more, He ain't close by. No. That's
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: just you not facing and talking to God, that you
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: listening to the other force. So what I've learned to do.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: My wife and I just went through something very similar
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: over New Year's even New Year's Day, and we had
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: to look at each other and say, you know what,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: the devil is busy. That ain't even us, you know,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: and we had to go wild. That's crazy because that
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: ain't you and that ain't me. That's just not how
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: we are. Now, all of a sudden we found ourselves
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: in a situation where we was at odds about something
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: that wasn't even us. And we had to look at
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: the whole thing. And now we sit back and now
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: instead of going wild and that wasn't cool New Year's Eve,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: now we send up going boy, look at God. So
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: ce Junior. You gotta remember what I've always said, behind
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: every moment of adversity, there's a lesson and there's a blessing.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Those two things happened behind everything that happens to you
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: in life. What happens to the average person is they
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: let the adversity bury them so deeply that they don't
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: even look and see the lesson, and they don't stick
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: around for the blessing. You keep talking about the adversity.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Everybody got adversed. Timmy went through something, not what Timmy
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: can be better about what he went through, or he'd
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: be grateful for what he went through. What would you
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: get to pick and you can be better about it?
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: The whole time. So until you learn the lesson. Could
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: it be that sometimes things happen over and over because
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: we won't learn the lesson. If I was you out here,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: I'm learned the lesson. The fact of the matter is,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: look at shining brighter than you ever shine before. You
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: got somebody love you, standing by you, with you, tick
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: you down there, set with you. You got wife. Now,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: don't miss the blessing. Those are my closing remarks that
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: they I hope you got something from it. If you didn't,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: we'll trying to get in the mall. God will. We'll
