- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all sit looking back to back giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the mosiing bus things and it's not good to
- 0:25Speaker 1: mother by. Don't join you gotta turn you got a
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your back. Uh huh, I show will good Martin. Everybody
- 2:04Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one it all. It's Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well all right, I've learned something and its sharing time.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 2:26Speaker 1: all that he allows me to learn in my life.
- 2:31Speaker 1: One of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 2:38Speaker 1: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 2:44Speaker 1: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say
- 2:48Speaker 1: is in every challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned
- 2:56Speaker 1: something so so valuable. So here's what I've You know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 3:05Speaker 1: different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more. Now.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 3:20Speaker 1: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 3:24Speaker 1: and just as he really is. He really is. He's
- 3:27Speaker 1: a fair and a just God. What's most beneficial to
- 3:31Speaker 1: us is he happens to be full of mercy and grace.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from
- 3:44Speaker 1: his grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:04Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:13Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:24Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:28Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:31Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:34Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through when
- 4:56Speaker 1: it hide made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing
- 5:05Speaker 1: suicide is they leave the God out of their life
- 5:09Speaker 1: and they start allowing that other voice to control. And
- 5:13Speaker 1: if it's really true that God never puts more on
- 5:15Speaker 1: you than you can bear, as long as you stay
- 5:18Speaker 1: connected to God, you can get through anything. But you
- 5:22Speaker 1: lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that
- 5:28Speaker 1: relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:32Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with now? And it
- 5:38Speaker 1: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 5:41Speaker 1: good and evil, it's positive and negative. It's God's satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:55Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 5:59Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:03Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:22Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear,
- 6:24Speaker 1: that's a fact. Okay, Now with that fact in mind.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:31Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:35Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:39Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:48Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:00Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:02Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:05Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:08Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:11Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:14Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:17Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude. Because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:25Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:40Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:44Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:51Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum. I mean, I'm just
- 7:55Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep unders standing this thing right here. So
- 8:02Speaker 1: let me give you an example. In my life, I
- 8:05Speaker 1: had gotten so busy at one point that I had
- 8:09Speaker 1: begun to complain about how busy I was. This is
- 8:15Speaker 1: true because I am busy, but it ain't the busy
- 8:19Speaker 1: part because I asked to be busy. You know, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: asked God to give me opportunities and to make a
- 8:26Speaker 1: way for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:33Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:44Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:50Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:53Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy embraced the fact that what all comes along
- 9:01Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:12Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:15Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was instead
- 9:18Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what,
- 9:21Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:23Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:26Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:35Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:45Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pull out these blessings that
- 9:48Speaker 1: you won't have room enough to receive. You gotta act
- 9:51Speaker 1: like you're glad for what you got in order to
- 9:53Speaker 1: get more. You feel me, Let's go one, two, three, four,
- 10:04Speaker 1: Boys and girls, gentlemen and ladies, Vegans, serious meat eaters,
- 10:11Speaker 1: this show is for you. But today I dedicate my shoulder.
- 10:16Speaker 1: All the brothers and sisters is locked away behind the walls. Y'all,
- 10:20Speaker 1: keep your head up. Man, God still loves you. Please
- 10:22Speaker 1: understand that he does. Man. Everybody make mistakes. Everybody make mistakes.
- 10:28Speaker 1: There's a lot of good people behind the wall. Man.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I hope y'all. Man, just feel better, just that somebody
- 10:34Speaker 1: out there thinking about you. Man, pull it for you,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you know, make something out yourself. It ain't over all right.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Welcome to the ride, Steve Harvey Morning Show, Charley Strawberry.
- 10:44Speaker 1: No glamor just me, Good morning Steve. Who Well, we
- 10:49Speaker 1: ain't there to see it, so okay worthy moment though
- 10:54Speaker 1: I heard the woo yeah, yeah, no glam just me. Well,
- 11:01Speaker 1: don't worry about the same over here, caller Pharrell, Girl,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I am with you. Good morning, Lashes, Junior U morning.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Everybody whoever said silence was golden. It was clearly talking
- 11:20Speaker 1: time in my draws. Baby. That's how we're doing it
- 11:24Speaker 1: right now. So I got up today and I decided
- 11:29Speaker 1: I just shaved today my head, my face, did my mustache,
- 11:36Speaker 1: lined it, trimmed it, died it. Just gave myself the
- 11:40Speaker 1: works and looked at the mirror and didn't know who
- 11:44Speaker 1: the hell I was, I said, welcome back, Steve Harvey. Yeah,
- 11:50Speaker 1: because what I haven't grown a full beard, so I
- 11:53Speaker 1: just been cutting it. Once you get past it scraggy
- 11:56Speaker 1: rough you know, in a rough section, rough section, I
- 12:00Speaker 1: just go on and shave it down. I had it,
- 12:03Speaker 1: you know. I like it when you get to a
- 12:04Speaker 1: certain point where it's all popped out and it's even great,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and then it's just sticking straight out. Once it started growing.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It don't grow all at the same time, so you
- 12:13Speaker 1: gotta wait. That's a ugly shot. Gets accusedly killed it
- 12:17Speaker 1: right about it now, you know. So that's what I
- 12:19Speaker 1: did today. It's the exciting, exciting day for me. I shave. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I gave myself a pedocure, and I just I love.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I can't stop looking at my feet. I'm so excited.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And you did good. I did it last weekend. My nails. Huh.
- 12:33Speaker 1: If I give myself a pedocure, you ain't gonna believe it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I know, good hair, Well, I don't know how to
- 12:41Speaker 1: do that. I look like just trying to bend open.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Get that foot in your hand, it's gonna be healed. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I got to put mine up on something. I used
- 12:57Speaker 1: to do it before. You know, nails, I'm so popular.
- 13:01Speaker 1: But you know you go back to your old s.
- 13:06Speaker 1: The reason you used to do it because you had
- 13:08Speaker 1: the money and go nowhere to get him done. That's
- 13:10Speaker 1: why you used to do it. Yeah, but you know,
- 13:12Speaker 1: Neil salons are on every corner now, Steve, they weren't,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know. But yeah, yeah, that too. Okay, I used
- 13:19Speaker 1: to cut my own hair, how about that? Never did that?
- 13:23Speaker 1: You know why I had the money? Go down that
- 13:26Speaker 1: damn Bob. Clearly you can't do the back all right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we're
- 13:35Speaker 1: gonna do some asks to Cello because why the chief
- 13:39Speaker 1: Love officers in the building in the Harvey right after this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Show. All right, Steve, here we go.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Time now for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, and
- 13:52Speaker 1: we have some good questions from Steve Harvey f M
- 13:55Speaker 1: dot com. Keep them coming. This one is from bridget
- 13:59Speaker 1: and Montgomery, Alabama. She says, my husband and I are young, newlywed.
- 14:03Speaker 1: My younger brother was staying with us when the sheltering
- 14:07Speaker 1: place started, and we allowed his girlfriend to stay with
- 14:10Speaker 1: us too. This was a huge mistake. This twenty year
- 14:16Speaker 1: old girl has the worst attitude and a potty mouth.
- 14:20Speaker 1: She refuses to clean up, and she does not shower daily.
- 14:24Speaker 1: My brother tolerates her foolishness and defended her for not
- 14:28Speaker 1: bathing by saying, we're stuck in the house, so who cares.
- 14:32Speaker 1: We care? She's stinky and she's a nuisance. They have
- 14:38Speaker 1: nowhere else to go. How can we make this work? Wow?
- 14:43Speaker 1: First of all, everybody got somewhere to go. Yeah, because
- 14:47Speaker 1: the moment you can't come in here, you gonna thank
- 14:49Speaker 1: of something now, just like they thought of your place.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Maybe they need to think of some other place. But
- 14:54Speaker 1: then who's gonna take on me in because you can't
- 14:57Speaker 1: just go stay with nobody no more so you might
- 15:00Speaker 1: be stuck with him, but you're gonna have to lay down.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's your house. You have to lay down. Rule Now.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I don't know who don't want to show? You can't
- 15:07Speaker 1: be up in here. You know, these houses ain't a
- 15:10Speaker 1: meg we've we've brought already. Once you live in the
- 15:14Speaker 1: same house with people, social distancing this gone girl, No, no, no,
- 15:20Speaker 1: you got to do something in here. Yeah, you know,
- 15:23Speaker 1: but I don't know, I don't know what's wrong with
- 15:25Speaker 1: your brother, because let me tell you something, I ain't
- 15:29Speaker 1: ever been that much in love with no damn body.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Stinking is allowable, but that's a deal breaker, yes, stinking.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. Marjorie made me so
- 15:40Speaker 1: bad one day, made me so mad. One day we
- 15:42Speaker 1: was in here and talking and I had just worked out,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and I ain't went on socks and my gym shoes
- 15:46Speaker 1: now and I'm there behind my desk. I'm going to
- 15:48Speaker 1: take them and put them a little spray on them.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But I hadn't got to it yet. She came on
- 15:51Speaker 1: the other side of my desk and said, wait a minute,
- 15:54Speaker 1: what what what is that I smell? I should probably say?
- 15:58Speaker 1: She said, oh no, oh no, you got to get
- 16:00Speaker 1: up and go take a bath. Steve you No, no,
- 16:03Speaker 1: we're not doing it. So hold on, bab I just
- 16:05Speaker 1: took my shoes off. Now I'm going upstairs a show.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But I'm on this conference call. Now I'm on a
- 16:09Speaker 1: conference call. I got to put the call on hole.
- 16:11Speaker 1: She talking to me about these damn shoes is under
- 16:13Speaker 1: my desk. If your ass wasn't on the other side
- 16:15Speaker 1: of this dish, you wouldn't even be in it. So
- 16:18Speaker 1: guess what happened. Guess who I am. Guess what happened?
- 16:22Speaker 1: My ass off that damn conference call. We're gonna stay
- 16:25Speaker 1: up to that damn shower and do them shoes outside
- 16:30Speaker 1: because we're Yeah, absolutely next, that's a deal breaker, all right.
- 16:34Speaker 1: This is from Frank out of North Carolina. It says Steve,
- 16:37Speaker 1: my wife has male friends that call her day and
- 16:40Speaker 1: night to talk about their dating problems. Since we've been
- 16:43Speaker 1: stuck in the house, she's been doing her online workouts
- 16:46Speaker 1: with her male friends. But when I invite her to
- 16:49Speaker 1: work out with me, she said, it's hard for her
- 16:52Speaker 1: to stay focused with me. I don't think she's attracted
- 16:55Speaker 1: to any of these guys, but I'm sure the guys
- 16:57Speaker 1: are interested in her. If this iss was reversed, my
- 17:01Speaker 1: wife would not tolerate me talking to females like that.
- 17:05Speaker 1: How can I stop her without looking jealous? Well, first
- 17:08Speaker 1: of all, you are jealous number two. You should be
- 17:13Speaker 1: jealous at number three. Just reverse the situation. Ask your wife,
- 17:20Speaker 1: how would you feel if I started talking to some
- 17:23Speaker 1: female friends and they called me, And you are absolutely correct.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Your wife may not be interested in none of them.
- 17:31Speaker 1: She might be at the house board still but guess
- 17:33Speaker 1: what your best to believe they're interested in her and
- 17:36Speaker 1: you know that. So now sold you. This is your family,
- 17:41Speaker 1: this is your wife. You could do it anyway you
- 17:42Speaker 1: want to. And I know people gonna go with Steve.
- 17:45Speaker 1: That's old fashioned. It's okay to have friends. Well not,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I've been here, you know. Look look, look, look, you
- 17:54Speaker 1: have all the friends you want because I can't have
- 17:56Speaker 1: female friends. I wish I would. Margerine, who you talk?
- 18:00Speaker 1: I don't talk to some girls. They got some dating problems. Hey,
- 18:03Speaker 1: you got a TV show, on radio show solve all that.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Ain'tbody fit to call this house? And then holding you
- 18:08Speaker 1: on line y'all FaceTime and each other working out? What
- 18:12Speaker 1: are you kidding me? That's that's and then I can't
- 18:16Speaker 1: work out with you because I can't focus, but you
- 18:19Speaker 1: can focus with these other men. Sounds sounds like a
- 18:23Speaker 1: little problem with me. Partner. You stop where you must
- 18:26Speaker 1: be young, Stop worrying about feeling jealous, because that's what
- 18:29Speaker 1: this is. Yeah, and it should be. That's exactly what
- 18:33Speaker 1: this is. It's called jealousy. It's allowable. M all right.
- 18:38Speaker 1: See this one is from Cherrelle and Philly. She says,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm divorced and my ex husband is a sorry deadbeat
- 18:44Speaker 1: that cheated on me. I was a breadwinner during the marriage,
- 18:47Speaker 1: so I was ordered to pay alimony to my ex
- 18:50Speaker 1: husband after the divorce. I just found out that my
- 18:53Speaker 1: ex husband is having a baby with the woman he
- 18:55Speaker 1: cheated on me with. I plan to ask the courts
- 18:58Speaker 1: to stop his alimony payments because I shouldn't have to
- 19:01Speaker 1: pay for his child and that help for he cheated
- 19:04Speaker 1: on me with. He said, I'm bitter and low down
- 19:07Speaker 1: if I cut him off financially, Steve, what do you think? Well,
- 19:11Speaker 1: he was bid in lowdown. See see all of a sudden,
- 19:15Speaker 1: See you could be bid in lowdown, but I can't
- 19:17Speaker 1: be bid in lowdown. See this time, I'll see all this.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You go low, we go high. That ain't for every situation, right,
- 19:26Speaker 1: tell you right now. I appreciate it. Sound good, but
- 19:30Speaker 1: that ain't real life. Yeah, you go low, I go
- 19:35Speaker 1: damn near jest ass low. You go low, I bridge
- 19:41Speaker 1: your ass, I get up under that. You go low,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I tunnel. I got a lot of way he's a
- 19:49Speaker 1: doing it. But what you're not gonna do? I'm not
- 19:51Speaker 1: sending the money over there for that now. And one
- 19:54Speaker 1: of the ways you can get out of it is
- 19:57Speaker 1: you can easily say and start filing for petition, because
- 20:01Speaker 1: this coronavirus is allowing people to get out of aum
- 20:04Speaker 1: under a lot of things. COVID nineteen. Yeah, this COVID nineteen. Man,
- 20:11Speaker 1: you may be able to get out of this sending
- 20:13Speaker 1: that child support, that alimony over there to a dude
- 20:16Speaker 1: that ain't working, because you probably ain't working, and if
- 20:19Speaker 1: you're working from home, which you probably ain't, you might
- 20:22Speaker 1: as well gonna get out under Yeah, and don't be
- 20:25Speaker 1: letting him make you feel guilty. They don't know a
- 20:28Speaker 1: lot of nerves. You're dirty and low down if you
- 20:30Speaker 1: leave me hanging right here. No, I'm not taking care
- 20:33Speaker 1: of you and her and a baby many. I'll tell
- 20:37Speaker 1: you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna get behind on
- 20:39Speaker 1: this alimony. What you're gonna do? Yeah, all right? Coming
- 20:43Speaker 1: up next, the nephew in the building would run that
- 20:47Speaker 1: brank back right after this you're listening show coming up
- 20:53Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Miss Anna's standing by
- 20:56Speaker 1: with today's National coronavirus news update, and in entertainment news,
- 21:01Speaker 1: Floyd Mayweather's daughter man this she was arrested and accused
- 21:06Speaker 1: of stabbing a woman. And some good news Tyler Paris.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Tyler Perry's generous, very generous, big tip. We'll talk about
- 21:14Speaker 1: all of these series at the top of the hour.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Right now, it's time for the nephew to run that
- 21:18Speaker 1: brank back. What you got for his nav? Pump your brakes, mom,
- 21:22Speaker 1: Pump your brakes, mom, momm Okay, watch yourself now. Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 21:29Speaker 1: pump your breaks. Let's go home. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 21:34Speaker 1: to reach Natalie. Please. Yeah, this is Natalie. Natalie. How
- 21:38Speaker 1: you doing. My name is Darren. I'm with your Homeowners Association.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Oh okay, hey Darren, how are you doing? Listen? Um,
- 21:48Speaker 1: we got a we got a bit of a problem,
- 21:50Speaker 1: if you don't mind me asking, who's who who actually
- 21:53Speaker 1: brings your kids home from school? Uh? Each day? Oh
- 21:58Speaker 1: my mom gets my kids for me and she dropped
- 22:01Speaker 1: them off. Okay, okay, okay, Well we have a we
- 22:06Speaker 1: have a bit of a problem. The kids are fine.
- 22:09Speaker 1: There's there's no issue with the kids at all. But
- 22:12Speaker 1: you know, we've had a meeting here at the HLA.
- 22:14Speaker 1: We've been getting some complaints. Uh it seems like your
- 22:18Speaker 1: mother is is uh really speeding down the street real fast,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and you know everyone's complaining about it that you know,
- 22:28Speaker 1: it's a lot of kids walking home from school and
- 22:30Speaker 1: it seems like your mom is driving real fast when
- 22:33Speaker 1: she's coming down the street to drop your kids off.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Did you know anything about this? Uh? No, not at all.
- 22:40Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound like her. Okay, what type of cards? Uh?
- 22:47Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Natalie, We're we're we From
- 22:50Speaker 1: what I understand, it is a what kind of car
- 22:54Speaker 1: is your mom had? Is a board escape or something
- 22:57Speaker 1: like that? From a little suv? Is that what you're moms? Yeah,
- 23:01Speaker 1: she has a little red stuv. Okay, all right, So
- 23:08Speaker 1: the problem is that that's the same car. That's the
- 23:10Speaker 1: one we're talking about. And it seems like, you know,
- 23:13Speaker 1: your mother is is flying down the street and she
- 23:17Speaker 1: drops the kids off, and when she leaves, she's flying
- 23:19Speaker 1: back out of the neighborhood and a couple of times
- 23:22Speaker 1: some of the neighbors have told her to slow down,
- 23:23Speaker 1: and you know, I don't know if she's flicked them
- 23:27Speaker 1: off or set something out the window, you know, but
- 23:30Speaker 1: you know, this is stuff that we just cannot tolerate. Huh. Well,
- 23:35Speaker 1: it really doesn't sound like my mom. But you know, okay,
- 23:39Speaker 1: you know what, Natalie, what we're not gonna do is
- 23:42Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do is act like it's not
- 23:43Speaker 1: your mamma. It's your mother that's doing this. So what
- 23:46Speaker 1: we need you to do is tell your mama to
- 23:48Speaker 1: slow out down. So we don't ask problem, all right,
- 23:52Speaker 1: because I tried to be nice with you at first.
- 23:54Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be a denial figured it's not
- 23:56Speaker 1: your mamma, then we got issue. First of all, Darren
- 24:01Speaker 1: from h O A, I need you to watch your
- 24:03Speaker 1: chauls and who is you're talking to? All right? I
- 24:06Speaker 1: need you to climb that all the way down? All right?
- 24:09Speaker 1: Have you said that I would? You need to slow
- 24:12Speaker 1: your damn mama down. That's what you need to do.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Slow your mama. What she can do is stand in
- 24:18Speaker 1: the middle of the street and she flying down and
- 24:20Speaker 1: so hopefully she can knock you out the way. Okay,
- 24:23Speaker 1: don't talk to me like that. You're being ruined, disrespectful.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I would ask her if this her, because I don't
- 24:28Speaker 1: think it's hard. But you're not gonna talk to me
- 24:30Speaker 1: like that, okay, So your mama can just drive down
- 24:33Speaker 1: the street and damn what she wanted to do. Myama
- 24:37Speaker 1: could do whatever she want to do. She'll grow on.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Don she can't do it in the neighborhood that I'm
- 24:42Speaker 1: a member of the h O and she can't do
- 24:45Speaker 1: it there. Okay, I don't mind whatever your mama arrested
- 24:48Speaker 1: with your kids in the car. If I got to,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I wish you would. I wish you would have my
- 24:54Speaker 1: mama arrested with my kids in the car. You're gonna
- 24:56Speaker 1: have more problems than you ever had. Okay, you and
- 25:00Speaker 1: I have my mama arrested. You're gonna get arrested and
- 25:03Speaker 1: you're gonna be sent to the hospital. How about that. Okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: let me tell yourself to tell your mama, so slow
- 25:10Speaker 1: down beneath streets. This is the last one. And I'm
- 25:13Speaker 1: giving y'all this the last one. Well, you know what
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm saying. You ain't got to get no one. It's okay.
- 25:18Speaker 1: We can have a real conversation about it. We can
- 25:21Speaker 1: meet and talk about it, because ain't gonna talk to
- 25:23Speaker 1: me like that. And you and I ain't telling my
- 25:25Speaker 1: mama nothing. I ain't telling out a small own thing,
- 25:27Speaker 1: not that. What you're gonna do? What's your mom, do
- 25:30Speaker 1: there not that. Let's meet about it. And And I'm not
- 25:32Speaker 1: bringing my husband too. Say you got so much to say,
- 25:36Speaker 1: you don't say that. I don't want you to keep
- 25:38Speaker 1: that same energy. Okay with my husband. I want you
- 25:40Speaker 1: to talk to him like you're talking to me. I
- 25:43Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I ain't worry about your
- 25:46Speaker 1: husband and none of that. All right, I'm gonna say
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this right here. I'm gonna say this
- 25:50Speaker 1: right here. Tommy is the one that told us that
- 25:52Speaker 1: your mama was speaking out the street commedy one said, Tommy,
- 25:57Speaker 1: put it out, Timmy. Tommy said, your mamma was the
- 26:01Speaker 1: one running up and down the street fast going part
- 26:04Speaker 1: to pick the milling out. Tommy. The one said that
- 26:07Speaker 1: I know who timmy shoes. But Tommy can kiss my.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You can kiss my, and any other neighbors who got
- 26:14Speaker 1: something to say about my mama can kiss my. How
- 26:16Speaker 1: about that? You're gonna shoot it, let me shoot it.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Do you know nephew Tommy from a Steve Harvey Morning show?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Do you know who starts me? Why are you going?
- 26:35Speaker 1: Mamaly's Mike's God like you talking questions even me about

- 27:17Speaker 1: You got me? Everybody coming this one more day before
- 27:20Speaker 1: you go. What is the baddest and I mean the
- 27:22Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. You know, it's the
- 27:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. And tell Steve I said, hey,
- 27:33Speaker 1: be working good and there you have it. You played
- 27:37Speaker 1: tom your break, your break. Y'all. Wait though, y'all, wait,
- 27:43Speaker 1: just give me a couple more days. I'm doing some
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm doing some some lockdown pranks. So y'all just hold tight.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Comm Me got something for you. You planking people. Now,
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm pranking people that can't get out of the house.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Y'all ain't riddy with it? You know where they? I
- 28:03Speaker 1: mean straight IGNI y'all when I'm gonna get y'all some

- 28:08Speaker 1: on the nephew. Okay, how's the show coming, Tell me
- 28:11Speaker 1: it's coming, it's coming. Working with Jade's cool. Yeah, j
- 28:15Speaker 1: j Jay so so damn fast, so quick, and I've
- 28:19Speaker 1: been trying to keep Oh man, I'd be trying to
- 28:21Speaker 1: keep up with him because Jay is fast, real fast,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you know. Jay Man to Jay, old school Jay, that Jay.
- 28:30Speaker 1: That dude come from that era when that was all
- 28:32Speaker 1: it was. Wasn't no TV shows for you. You just
- 28:36Speaker 1: had these jokes. That was it it was. There was
- 28:40Speaker 1: a different dude created back then where he comes from.
- 28:42Speaker 1: So that's that's what that is talking about. Man, It's
- 28:47Speaker 1: like getting out there with with George. You're trying to
- 28:49Speaker 1: just just just hate. It. Don't matter either Jordan, Jude,
- 28:53Speaker 1: either way it goes, don't matter. Shut up, Julian balanced
- 28:57Speaker 1: each other out and show all right, we gotta watch
- 29:03Speaker 1: that coming up at the top of the hour. Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Entertainment and national news right after this, you're listening to. Wow,
- 29:15Speaker 1: this story right here, Floyd Mayweather's nineteen year old daughter
- 29:19Speaker 1: Ayanna was busted for felony aggravated assault. This was early
- 29:24Speaker 1: Saturday morning in Houston. That's right, Tommy. She's accused of
- 29:28Speaker 1: getting into an altercation with rapper NBA Young Boys. Baby Mama.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Ayana reportedly showed up a young boy's home and found
- 29:36Speaker 1: him with another woman. Ayanna told the alleged victim that
- 29:40Speaker 1: she was the rapper's Beyonce, so the woman should lead.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Things escalated and at one point Ayanna allegedly stabbed the woman.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Her name is Lepatra Jacob. Ayana Mayweather was charged with
- 29:54Speaker 1: aggravated assault, and yesterday Ayanna posted bond and the Houston
- 29:59Speaker 1: judge told her to stay one thousand feet away from
- 30:01Speaker 1: the victim and no possession of any weapons. Floyd posted
- 30:05Speaker 1: a video of him working out and boxing with his
- 30:07Speaker 1: son with a caption never claimed to be perfect, but
- 30:10Speaker 1: I strive to be the best father possible. I saw that. Well, yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: you know, Floyd, listen, man, this isn't a reflection of
- 30:21Speaker 1: your parenting. I think what people fail to realize is
- 30:26Speaker 1: that when our children get out on their own or
- 30:29Speaker 1: they leave the house, just like we did when we
- 30:33Speaker 1: were growing up, we did things totally against everything our
- 30:36Speaker 1: parents taught us or raised us. All of us did.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And so in these times now with social media, all
- 30:45Speaker 1: your kids flaws plays out more of a national attention.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So Floyd, you know, ain't got to be perfect. You
- 30:54Speaker 1: know he did, He's doing the best he could, but
- 30:56Speaker 1: you're talking about a possible love triangle and stuff like that. Man,
- 31:00Speaker 1: you get out of hand, these people start hand and
- 31:02Speaker 1: then you know, cause now we don't know what the
- 31:05Speaker 1: real story is. You know, did you get a knife
- 31:07Speaker 1: out and you got cut with it cross your hand allegedly? Yeah, yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: you know, you know, it's kind of like you call
- 31:15Speaker 1: it with all the incidents witness No, no, no, no,
- 31:23Speaker 1: I'm talking about when I say allegedly your your case
- 31:28Speaker 1: in situation that never was made public because it wasn't
- 31:31Speaker 1: called on camera, but sugar and gas taking no social
- 31:37Speaker 1: media doing call a day call, it wouldn't be on
- 31:41Speaker 1: this show, and neither would out, none of us would
- 31:44Speaker 1: if we had cameras back and all. That's allegedly too
- 31:51Speaker 1: right there, you know what this is. But hopefully there
- 31:55Speaker 1: is a victim to hope that girl recovers fully, and
- 31:58Speaker 1: you would the guy would have stopped it. He would
- 32:00Speaker 1: have got between it and all nine one one, so
- 32:05Speaker 1: you know, you don't know. Awful, Yeah, that's just horrible.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Hopefully it really is. Get it together, yeah, all right,
- 32:13Speaker 1: And other entertainment news, Tyler Perry to the rescue again.
- 32:16Speaker 1: He's just so generous He recently tipped forty two of
- 32:20Speaker 1: Houston's restaurant employees in Atlanta twenty one thousand dollars. Now,
- 32:25Speaker 1: this is about five hundred dollars tip to each server
- 32:31Speaker 1: and each employee of Houston's. And I mean, you know,
- 32:34Speaker 1: Tyler's so generous, he really really is, and he's always
- 32:38Speaker 1: coming to someone's aid. Yeah, Now where was he sitting
- 32:42Speaker 1: in the restaurant with all him He probably did pick
- 32:45Speaker 1: up the probably no, yea, he got it to go, Yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 1: he got it to go. Yeah, Now it was at Houston's. Yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 1: they said Tyler got a whole lot of money. If
- 32:55Speaker 1: he's sitting in the restaurant, anybody go put him at yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 1: all right, Time to get caught up on today's headline, Steve,
- 33:04Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much, everybody.
- 33:08Speaker 1: This is Andrew put the News. You know, pretty much
- 33:10Speaker 1: ninety percent of US residents are either under orders to
- 33:13Speaker 1: stay home or being advised to stay home whenever possible,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and there are signs that that strategy is working, especially
- 33:19Speaker 1: in the region with the most coronavirus cases in the
- 33:21Speaker 1: country that would be New York. However, New York Governor
- 33:24Speaker 1: Andrew Cuomo can't forget how long the Trump administration took
- 33:27Speaker 1: to start trying to fight the virus, and how it
- 33:30Speaker 1: seems that the president still wants to start rolling back
- 33:32Speaker 1: to stay at home in social distancing bands. We have
- 33:35Speaker 1: been behind on this virus from day one, and this
- 33:39Speaker 1: virus has kicked our rear end. Now is not the
- 33:42Speaker 1: time to slack off on what we're doing. In fact,
- 33:45Speaker 1: Cuomo's increased fines for public gatherings, which he said are
- 33:48Speaker 1: still a problem because some people are just totally obnoxious.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Right do you have to act irresponsibly in a way
- 33:56Speaker 1: that could get you sick or someone else sick, and
- 33:59Speaker 1: then I have to say an ambulance to pick you
- 34:01Speaker 1: up and bring you to an emergency room that's already
- 34:04Speaker 1: over burdened. Again, the governor has doubled defined for disobeying
- 34:07Speaker 1: social distancing guidelines to one thousand dollars. This word out
- 34:11Speaker 1: of Chicago. While Shytown is only twenty three percent black,
- 34:15Speaker 1: see the officials say that the African Americans are nevertheless
- 34:17Speaker 1: accounting for more than half of the COVID nineteen deaths.
- 34:21Speaker 1: That's right, twenty three percent black, but over fifty percent
- 34:24Speaker 1: of the COVID nineteen deaths elsewhere. Authorities say four members
- 34:27Speaker 1: of a family in Louisiana have all died of the coronavirus.
- 34:31Speaker 1: The members of the Franklin family ranged in age from
- 34:34Speaker 1: fifty eight years old to eighty six years old. The
- 34:37Speaker 1: coronavirus problem intensifying in the UK. In fact, the Prime
- 34:40Speaker 1: Minister over there, Bars Johnson, has now been moved into
- 34:43Speaker 1: intensive care because his COVID nineteen symptoms have been getting
- 34:47Speaker 1: worse and not better. Johnson is fifty five years old.
- 34:50Speaker 1: He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after ten
- 34:53Speaker 1: days of self imposed isolation. There have so far been
- 34:56Speaker 1: early have around, have been around at fifty four to
- 35:00Speaker 1: deaths rather in England and again as he was in
- 35:03Speaker 1: self isolation, apparently his symptoms got worse and not better.
- 35:06Speaker 1: So he's hospitalized. Well it was and then it wasn't.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Now it is. I'm talking about the Wisconsin primary, which
- 35:12Speaker 1: the Democratic governor Wisconsin TONI. Evers tried to shut down
- 35:15Speaker 1: for health reasons postponed till June, but the idea was
- 35:19Speaker 1: swiftly rejected by the majority Republican Wisconsin Supreme Court. The
- 35:23Speaker 1: number of COVID nineteen infections on the rise in his state.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Governor Evers issued an executive order yesterday afternoon calling for
- 35:30Speaker 1: a primary postponement or at least no in person balloting,
- 35:33Speaker 1: you know, by mail or something, but the Republican majority
- 35:36Speaker 1: in legislature and the Wisconsin Supreme Court reinstated the election
- 35:39Speaker 1: in only a few hours. Starting today, all Starbucks employees
- 35:43Speaker 1: are required to where some sort of mask or facial
- 35:46Speaker 1: covering at work. In fact, Starbucks officials say they provided
- 35:49Speaker 1: their works with a tutorial demonstrating how to make their
- 35:52Speaker 1: own mask. Finally, Tyler Perry's given folks upset about all
- 35:56Speaker 1: the hairdresses and nail salon's clothed because of the Corona stuff.
- 35:59Speaker 1: He was speaking to half the group Mary Mary Erica Campbell,
- 36:02Speaker 1: and he put it like this, Oh, y'all run out
- 36:04Speaker 1: there trying to get your hair done, trying to look cute.
- 36:07Speaker 1: The case. There's another person that does hair. There a
- 36:10Speaker 1: makeup too. That's an undertaker, the undertaken. Now back to
- 36:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Mornicio, you're listening to show New York's new
- 36:19Speaker 1: coronavirus cases dropped for the first time yesterday, which is
- 36:23Speaker 1: good news. However, in other parts of the country. The
- 36:26Speaker 1: coronavirus death rate for New Orleans is double that of
- 36:29Speaker 1: New York. Yeah, that's sad. In Chicago, research shows that
- 36:34Speaker 1: more than half of the COVID nineteen cases are in
- 36:37Speaker 1: the African American community. In Detroit, it continues to become
- 36:42Speaker 1: a national focus, with Detroit having the third highest number
- 36:45Speaker 1: of cases in the country. We all saw the viral
- 36:48Speaker 1: video of the of the Detroit bus driver Jason Hargrove,
- 36:52Speaker 1: who complained about it. Yeah, this was this was really terrible.
- 36:56Speaker 1: He complained about a woman passenger not covering her mouth
- 36:59Speaker 1: while coughing on his bus, and sadly, Jason Hargrove passed
- 37:04Speaker 1: away from COVID nineteen. His widow m Yeah, missus, Desha
- 37:09Speaker 1: Hargrove is pleading for everyone to please stay home. She said,
- 37:13Speaker 1: this is serious and you don't want to be in
- 37:15Speaker 1: my situation planning a funeral for your loved one. So Steve,
- 37:20Speaker 1: we we just we have to encourage everyone to stay home.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Please stay home. This is not optional. Look, we have
- 37:29Speaker 1: to view it like this. You have to protect This
- 37:34Speaker 1: is not just protecting yourself, so you don't get it.
- 37:37Speaker 1: This is to protect anybody that you love. Let me
- 37:41Speaker 1: give you an example of what can happen. You can
- 37:44Speaker 1: go outside because you can get it airborne. You can
- 37:47Speaker 1: get it off cardboard, plastic, stainless steel. I have a
- 37:51Speaker 1: list of how long the COVID virus leaves on different surfaces.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And it was sort of a man. I kind of
- 38:00Speaker 1: got this today from somebody, and I'm gonna give it
- 38:03Speaker 1: to y'all a little bit later on, and I'm gonna
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you how it lives on certain surfaces.
- 38:08Speaker 1: You can get it from anywhere, cardboard, stainless steel, countertops, airborne,
- 38:13Speaker 1: direct contact. It's not just handwashing. You gotta be careful
- 38:17Speaker 1: so many things. So now a delivery bag can come
- 38:20Speaker 1: to your house, somebody with COVID nineteen who packed it,
- 38:24Speaker 1: who doesn't know that they're showing any symptoms, could cough,
- 38:28Speaker 1: put their hand on the bag, You pick it up,
- 38:30Speaker 1: get it on your hand, take it in your house.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Inadvertly you're not thinking boom. So now you've got to
- 38:38Speaker 1: be careful. Now you get it, you don't know you
- 38:40Speaker 1: have the symptoms, and you take it into your house
- 38:43Speaker 1: with the people you love, and you got an older
- 38:46Speaker 1: person living there who with a previous condition now you're
- 38:50Speaker 1: hurting the people that you really love. It's not just you.
- 38:54Speaker 1: We've got to get together so we can protect ourselves.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I love ones and the other people in the public
- 39:01Speaker 1: who are unaware. We're working very hard on this end
- 39:04Speaker 1: right here. If we do these things, we can flatten
- 39:08Speaker 1: this curve and we can get out of this. But
- 39:11Speaker 1: until we all start taking this serious, every single person
- 39:15Speaker 1: in this country, we're going to keep fighting like this.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour, we're
- 39:21Speaker 1: gonna switch gears, lighten things up a bit. Here's the question,
- 39:24Speaker 1: what odd, strange, mundane thing have you started doing to
- 39:29Speaker 1: pass time? We're going to talk about that. Oh, all right,
- 39:33Speaker 1: after this, we'll be right back. You're listening to show,
- 39:39Speaker 1: all right. So, having to spend days on end indoors
- 39:42Speaker 1: has so many people just incredibly bored that they're coming
- 39:46Speaker 1: up with all kinds of bizarre ways to pass the time.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Some people are I love this one. Some people are
- 39:53Speaker 1: counting rice, just counting, yes, counting strug rice. Yeah. I
- 40:01Speaker 1: like that one too. Yeah, just count the rice, the colonels,
- 40:04Speaker 1: so you know they're counting strawberry seeds, et cetera. So
- 40:07Speaker 1: Steve I gotta ask you, what strange thing? I know
- 40:13Speaker 1: you're doing something strange. What are you doing to pass
- 40:16Speaker 1: the time? I know you're not counting? Wait for I
- 40:22Speaker 1: got these vapor cigars because my wife didn't ask me
- 40:27Speaker 1: to cut back, So I got me some vapors about
- 40:31Speaker 1: you and loves you. M Yeah, okay, yes, Steve and so.
- 40:40Speaker 1: On the box it says, uh, this one particular brand
- 40:44Speaker 1: that I like, you get eighteen hundred puffs. So I've
- 40:48Speaker 1: been counting the puffs on this electronic cigars and I
- 40:53Speaker 1: want to tell y'all, so eighteen hundred a lot of
- 40:55Speaker 1: damn puffing. Let me tell you something. Do that at
- 40:59Speaker 1: one time you ain't a's gonna get sick. Probably. Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 1: So I'm three days in and I'm on a twenty
- 41:05Speaker 1: one hundred and forty two posts. You Yeah, I just
- 41:12Speaker 1: write it down if there ain't got nothing to do,
- 41:13Speaker 1: like you know, a little note section in your phone.
- 41:16Speaker 1: So I just I count the puls you know, wh
- 41:18Speaker 1: I'm walking around the yard. I puff a little bit,
- 41:20Speaker 1: walk with the dog, you know, puff a little bit,
- 41:24Speaker 1: walk with the dog, Drank some water, Puff a little bit,
- 41:28Speaker 1: walk with the dog. Yeah, me and the dog. Then
- 41:31Speaker 1: actually got close. I've actually began talking to him, like,
- 41:38Speaker 1: what do you talk to the dog about? She and
- 41:42Speaker 1: that wiping his paws off and everything. He's so sick
- 41:44Speaker 1: of getting your damn pauls washed, he was. You know,
- 41:48Speaker 1: dogs don't like that you wash, it falls off, you know,
- 41:51Speaker 1: because she's been he's been outside. Oh, Marjorie is the Yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 1: so the dog get his paw still, Like I'm going
- 41:58Speaker 1: damn taking this too far. He feels the same way.
- 42:02Speaker 1: So the other day I was out there with him
- 42:04Speaker 1: and he laid his head on my left and he said, damn, man,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I'm sick of the dog, he said, he said, He said,
- 42:16Speaker 1: you know why, dog? I said, I know, dog. He
- 42:19Speaker 1: said why ain't the only one you called dog? And
- 42:22Speaker 1: I said, well, you know, so, raz we had type
- 42:26Speaker 1: of exchange. You are very close. Yeah, yeah me. And
- 42:30Speaker 1: that's the craziest thing out of that. What about you, Junior.
- 42:36Speaker 1: YEA ain't gonna beleat this. But I actually sat here
- 42:38Speaker 1: at the table and opened my blind and washed the
- 42:40Speaker 1: tree bullet. It was naked when we started this quarantine.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Now it just prouted those really amazing watching leaves come in.
- 42:52Speaker 1: That is really something really you need to take in
- 42:54Speaker 1: the nature. I sat here about four or five hours
- 42:56Speaker 1: a day and do that, like watching paint. All right, nephew,
- 43:02Speaker 1: I got nothing special. I have a my mama bought me.
- 43:06Speaker 1: There was a couple of years ago, and I never
- 43:08Speaker 1: used it. I've been pressure washing everything just because just
- 43:14Speaker 1: like the patios on the side of the house steps
- 43:19Speaker 1: to take you out in the yard, I've just been
- 43:20Speaker 1: pressure washing. Seeing a sign of dirt, I see something,
- 43:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna you know what, I'm a pressure wash that
- 43:28Speaker 1: I'm a pressure wash. Can it just give me something
- 43:33Speaker 1: to do. I'm you know, I'll be walking outside like
- 43:35Speaker 1: I'm really going away. I'm going out here and pressure
- 43:37Speaker 1: wash this thing. I'll be back out. That's it. That's
- 43:41Speaker 1: all I got to do, right, Steve, I knew you
- 43:43Speaker 1: have something else. I asked you for the first time
- 43:46Speaker 1: three years of living here. You know where my look
- 43:49Speaker 1: grandkids used to have the TP up that I had
- 43:52Speaker 1: to buy for him. That time, the t people that
- 43:56Speaker 1: prying when they was taking it back, so that we
- 43:57Speaker 1: took that down until they just got it was back there.
- 44:01Speaker 1: And so I walked back there the other day and
- 44:06Speaker 1: took a headger. One of the things that cut shrubbery. Yeah,
- 44:10Speaker 1: I cut it down, cut a little hole where I
- 44:14Speaker 1: could see through the gate, and I've actually been looking
- 44:18Speaker 1: at the neighbor's house, all right. Loving Up next it
- 44:25Speaker 1: is the nephew with today's frank phone call. That's right
- 44:28Speaker 1: about calling police and reporting they ask or something going on.
- 44:32Speaker 1: You're listening to show coming up at the top of
- 44:37Speaker 1: the hour right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry
- 44:40Speaker 1: letter for today, Steve. I gotta tell you you're gonna
- 44:42Speaker 1: love this subject. Tommy not so much. The subject is
- 44:47Speaker 1: I'm way more stupid than Tommy. Wo subject subject is
- 44:57Speaker 1: what I'm way more stupid than Tommy. It's gonna be
- 45:02Speaker 1: hard to read right here right now though. The nephew
- 45:08Speaker 1: is in the building with today's praying phone call. What
- 45:11Speaker 1: do you have for us today? Nephew, your wife is
- 45:15Speaker 1: cheating on both of us. Now, that's just disrespectful right there?
- 45:21Speaker 1: You know that? Now, that's just that that right there,
- 45:26Speaker 1: your wife getting on both us. Come on, come on now,
- 45:31Speaker 1: you do not have any an it. Come on now,
- 45:35Speaker 1: how dare you? I mean, how hell can a person
- 45:38Speaker 1: be you know, wow to be cheating on me? And

- 45:49Speaker 1: Let's go get though. Hello, I'm trying to reach Terrence. Please,
- 45:55Speaker 1: who's calling? Who's this? Hey? My name is Mark. My
- 45:58Speaker 1: name is Mark. How you doing, bro? I work with
- 46:00Speaker 1: um with your wife, Veronica. We're on the same sales
- 46:02Speaker 1: floor together. I think I met you before, but I
- 46:05Speaker 1: don't know if you remember meeting me. But um, I
- 46:08Speaker 1: work at the job with Veronica. Is everything on right
- 46:11Speaker 1: there or what's going on? No? No, no, everything is
- 46:14Speaker 1: straight here at the job. Not a problem at all

- 46:22Speaker 1: I just you know, I actually, like I said, my
- 46:25Speaker 1: name is Mark. Man. You don't remember me, Terrence, But
- 46:27Speaker 1: I just wanted to talk to you, Like I say, um,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you know, I got some things on that that's been
- 46:31Speaker 1: bothered me for a minute, and I you know, I
- 46:33Speaker 1: just I just kind of wanted to reach out to you,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and you know, just kind of have like a little
- 46:38Speaker 1: a little hard to hard talk with you. Man. So
- 46:39Speaker 1: maybe you know, uh, you know, we can get things
- 46:42Speaker 1: in a in a better position. But I just wanted
- 46:44Speaker 1: I just wanted me and you to have a conversation. Wait, man,
- 46:49Speaker 1: how did you get mine? Veronica? Give you my number?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Or how did you get my number? That's what I'm
- 46:52Speaker 1: trying to like, what's going on? I mean I had,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I had, I've had your number. I just I just
- 46:57Speaker 1: I just had never reached out to you before. Well,
- 47:00Speaker 1: like I say, though, man, this this, this has been
- 47:02Speaker 1: bothering me for a minute and I wanted to get
- 47:04Speaker 1: it off my chest so you and I can try to,
- 47:06Speaker 1: I guess, fix this whole issue. But I just want
- 47:09Speaker 1: us to see if we can fix it. You know,
- 47:11Speaker 1: we fix the issue. What's the issue? I don't understand.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm not following you. I don't understand what like what
- 47:17Speaker 1: is the issue? So but now you know, like I said,
- 47:21Speaker 1: I went on to talk to me, what's going on? Okay, Yeah,
- 47:29Speaker 1: your wife, man is cheating on both of us, and
- 47:34Speaker 1: we gotta figure out how we gotta do something about this. Man,
- 47:37Speaker 1: all right? I mean, did you say she's eating on
- 47:39Speaker 1: the both of us? What cheating? She is cheating on

- 48:10Speaker 1: me with you. No, no, she cheating on both of
- 48:13Speaker 1: us with somebody else. I know. I've been noticing her
- 48:18Speaker 1: going out with this, you know, going to lunch with
- 48:20Speaker 1: this other cat. So I'm like, I got pissed off
- 48:22Speaker 1: about it. So I said, you know what, I can't
- 48:25Speaker 1: take you no more. I'm calling Terence. You're saying to
- 48:28Speaker 1: me that my wife has been cheating around a job
- 48:31Speaker 1: with somebody else. She cheating on both of us. Dude,

- 49:12Speaker 1: and then you know, don't come back. That's our thing though.
- 49:14Speaker 1: But you know now, you know I'm noticing. You know,
- 49:17Speaker 1: she she didn't want out, you know, she didn't want
- 49:19Speaker 1: to lunch a couple of time with his brother named Alan,
- 49:20Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, no, no, it ain't gonna go
- 49:22Speaker 1: down like this here. You know what I'm saying? Are

- 49:34Speaker 1: I need you to step up as the husband and
- 49:36Speaker 1: fix this. But you're telling me that my wife is
- 49:40Speaker 1: cheating on both of us. Didn't you know, cheating on
- 49:42Speaker 1: both of us? If she's she's cheating on me, you're
- 49:46Speaker 1: telling me that you with my wife too, that you've
- 49:48Speaker 1: been messing around with my wife. That's not That's not
- 49:53Speaker 1: the part I'm trying to talk about. I'm trying to
- 49:54Speaker 1: talk about this dude named Alan. Man, That's what I'm

- 55:51Speaker 1: you're way more stupid than Tommy. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 55:56Speaker 1: a thirty seven year old married man, with the most
- 56:00Speaker 1: perfect wife a man could ever ask for. She accepted
- 56:04Speaker 1: me with all my flaws and we never argue. Instead,
- 56:08Speaker 1: she calls me out on my bs and we talk
- 56:11Speaker 1: things through logically. I have a female friend that is
- 56:15Speaker 1: single and bitter, and whenever I brag about my great marriage,
- 56:19Speaker 1: she always throws shade. She always says that my wife
- 56:24Speaker 1: is hiding something because women love to argue. She even
- 56:28Speaker 1: implied that my wife may be cheating on me, because
- 56:31Speaker 1: if she won't argue with me, she doesn't care about me.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I started believing my friend and wanted to test my wife.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I started picking fights with my wife just to see
- 56:43Speaker 1: what would happen. One night, I started an argument and
- 56:46Speaker 1: my wife was not having it, so she suggested that
- 56:49Speaker 1: I go for a ride to cool off. I took
- 56:52Speaker 1: my stupid behind over to my female friend's house. She
- 56:56Speaker 1: poured up drink after drink, and we got comfy and drunk,
- 57:01Speaker 1: and she took advantage of me. This was the worst
- 57:04Speaker 1: sex I ever had. When I got home at three am,
- 57:08Speaker 1: my wife was up and had been worried all night.
- 57:12Speaker 1: I had to keep acting mad until I could take
- 57:14Speaker 1: a shower and sober up. I felt so guilty. The
- 57:17Speaker 1: next day, By midday, this other woman started calling and
- 57:21Speaker 1: texting me like crazy. She wanted me to come over
- 57:25Speaker 1: so we could talk about what's next for us. I
- 57:28Speaker 1: was like, wtf us. My response made her furious with me,
- 57:34Speaker 1: and she threatened to come to my house and talk
- 57:37Speaker 1: to me in personal I'm all stressed out because she
- 57:41Speaker 1: won't stop calling me. This woman is like one of
- 57:44Speaker 1: the boys, and I can't tell my wife I had
- 57:47Speaker 1: a one night stand with her. In fact, I don't
- 57:49Speaker 1: want anyone to know. Stephen Shirley. What should I do?
- 57:54Speaker 1: All right, Tommy, he's thank you. I was gonna say
- 57:58Speaker 1: that even you aren't this stupid? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 1: you're way more stupid than Tommy. You are absolutely right.
- 58:08Speaker 1: You are absolutely right on so many levels, because I
- 58:13Speaker 1: mean my wife, My wife listened to the show. Baby,
- 58:15Speaker 1: I ain't never done nothing like this him for this
- 58:17Speaker 1: boy hit it done baby for him. It is somebody
- 58:21Speaker 1: most stupid than me. Babe, Baby, don't get points, but
- 58:27Speaker 1: you ain't done this. So what did you watch? Yeah? Yeah,
- 58:30Speaker 1: you're not stupid as this guy, So shut up the girl.
- 58:34Speaker 1: But you're about to change that. Yes, about to help
- 58:37Speaker 1: you here? Yeah, yeah. I mean, come on, come on, dude,
- 58:46Speaker 1: I mean, you cannot be this stupid. Who is this stupid,
- 58:51Speaker 1: this evil, trifling woman that you call your friend. I
- 58:56Speaker 1: mean she set you up. You made the case for
- 58:59Speaker 1: why married men and women should not have friends of
- 59:03Speaker 1: the opposite sex. How can you buy all this stuff
- 59:06Speaker 1: that she told you about your about your wife. Women
- 59:09Speaker 1: don't like to argue. Where does she get that from?
- 59:12Speaker 1: Especially mature women? They don't like to argue? I mean,
- 59:16Speaker 1: come this is come on, but you made the case
- 59:20Speaker 1: why we shouldn't have friends of the opposite sex. Also
- 59:23Speaker 1: with drinks involved, and she kept giving you drink after drink,
- 59:27Speaker 1: and then you're stupid behind drove home drunk. I mean,
- 59:31Speaker 1: this letter is just stupid upon stupid upon stupid, just
- 59:35Speaker 1: layers and layers and layers of stupid. She's no friend
- 59:40Speaker 1: to you. She's no friend to you. She was just
- 59:42Speaker 1: really trying to break up your marriage. That's all this
- 59:45Speaker 1: is saying. That's what she was doing. She was in
- 59:47Speaker 1: your ear. What do you mean, what do you mean
- 59:50Speaker 1: all you know, just doing all of this and you
- 59:52Speaker 1: say the sex wasn't that great, so it wasn't even
- 59:55Speaker 1: worth it. You messed up really badly here, and you
- 59:58Speaker 1: better pray that this crazy so called friend of yours
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: does not tell your wife, and if she does, you
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: better hope and pray that your wife that you can
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: convince your wife to give you another chance. It's way
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: more complicated than that, but we gotta go. Steve. Come on,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: this is crazy. The subject is simple. I'm way more
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: stupid than Tommy. Now I found that hard to believe,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: but throughout this letter you proved me wrong, your ass,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: he is stupid. Okay, when we come back, I'm gonna
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: tell you just hot damn stupid you really are. Okay,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: all right, Steve, thank you. We'll have part two of
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: your response coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Today's subjects I'm way more stupid than Tommy. Yeah, you are.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I'm way
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: more stupid than Tommy. Well, ain't no recap. Let's just
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: get it on. This letter says I'm way more stupid
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: than Tommy. He immediately started proving his damn point thirty
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: seven year old married man with the most perfect wife
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: a man could ever ask for accepting me with all
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: my flaws that would probably be including the fact that
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you're stupid and we never argue. Instead, she calls out
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: my bs. We talked things through logically. You got a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: female friend that's single and bitter, and whenever I brag
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: about my great man, she always throws shade. That's why
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: she's single and that's why she bitter. She always said
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: that my wife is hiding something because women love to argue,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and that surely made a good point. Women don't love
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to argue. They really don't. Now they don't go there
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: if you push him there. But that ain't what they
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: like to do. I can tell you that or a fact. Okay,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: so now let's get that out the way now. She
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: always says my wife is hiding something because women loved that.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: She also said that your wife is probably cheating on me.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: That's why she don't argue with you, so she don't
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: care about you. Now, this is how stupid this fool is. Yeah,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I started believing my friend Holdly Women Award. You started
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: believing the single, bitter ass friend that ain't got nobody
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: telling you about somebody that you got and don't nobody
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: wanted her. Okay, all right now, and I wanted to
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: test my wife. Hold let me back a little bit.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Didn't you just say you're married to the man, the
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: most perfect wife a man could ask for. You want
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: to go home and test her? Folk? What? Because you're
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: stupid ass friend saying something? And I'm gonna tell you
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: who you're stupid as friend really is. Though I want
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to see it right now, but I can't. So I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: started picking fights with my wife just to see what
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: would happen. One night, I started argument. My wife wasn't
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: having it, so she justested I go for a ride
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to cool. Long great move. I took my stupid ass
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: over my female friend's house. She pulled up. Drink after
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: drink after drink. We got comfy and drunk. She took
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: advantage of me. Now, see hold up, dog, listen to me.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: She didn't take advantage of you. For a man to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: have sex, you have to get yourself in a certain position,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: So anybody took advantage of you. Let's stop that hard.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: For a woman to take a man, you have to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: be aroused. You got a roused with them drinks in you.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: She took advantage of me. Now, higoto. This where the
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: letter gets stupid. This was the worst sex I ever had.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Oh and y'all don't know why because I'm I'm fenn
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to pick out a piece of this letter I found
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: when I got home at three. Ayem, my wife was up,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: had been worried all night. I had to keep acting mad,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and because I could take a shower and sober up,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I felt so guilty the next day. By mid day,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the other woman started calling and texting me like crazy
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: because she can't believe you had sex with her. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you why. Here it come, he comes.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: She wanted me to come over so we could talk
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: about what's next for us. I was like, what us,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: ain't no, damn us. Then your response made her furious
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: because she it was us last night. She was y'all
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and us last night, and she was furious with me.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Y'all ready, here it comes, it comes. She threatened to
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: come to my house and talk to me in person.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I'm stressed out because she won't stop calling. Here we go.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: This is it. This woman is like one of the boys.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I can't tell my wife I had a one night
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: stand with her. In fact, I don't want anybody in
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: the mote. No, you know why because she not only
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: was one of the boys, she looked like one of
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the boys. See that's listen to me, y'all. This he
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: got drunk, had the worst sex he ever had. It
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: wasn't no. I had always been curious about her. Now
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: she wanted the boys because she looked like one of
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: the boys. She don't he don't want nobody to know.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: And you cannot tell your wife. Why would you. You
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: gotta go over here and talk to this chick and
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you got to say listen, yeah, this can't go no further.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I really like you as a friend, and I don't
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: want to hurt our friendship. You gonna have to play
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: the game now part that's gonna make you sick to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: your stomach. We have such a great friendship. I can
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: talk to you about anything. I'm sorry this happened. I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: don't want this to come between our friendship. Your friendship
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: means too much to me. You got to get into
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: this game deep now it's play active. But what your
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: stupid ass bed not do. It's going there and tell
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: your wife this happened. If your dumb ass do that,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: don't stop listening to our show. We don't want you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: as a listen to no more. Really no really, you
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: gotta meet her or diary anything, just throw it away.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: You don't want your ass listening to this damn show
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: no more. If you take your stupid ass in there
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: and say something your wife, your dumb ass, your stupid
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: ass to learn the lesson that. Go over there and
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: fix it like I told you, and get back to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: the best wife on the planet. That right mess round
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: had the worst sex you'd never had because she ain't
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: got no practice, she ain't had no sex. Nobody else

- 1:10:40Speaker 1: in the neighborhood and I didn't got pulled, though this
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: is yesterday. Is it wrong that I let the window
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: down and started sneezing and coughing out the window? Is

- 1:13:29Speaker 1: have Mercy up on the phone. Don't let her call
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: if it ain't Sunday. She got time, She ain't got
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: a way to go. What is she talking about? Any
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: and everything? Do you know there's a fight up in Brenham, Texas?
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Did you know her sister Milby and Catherine ain't been
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: talking for the last two weeks. I don't know why
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about it. So I'm saying you wanted somebody
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: to talk to something. Yeah, but it's not huddle. She
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: talked so slow, because you know, old people don't tell
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: you right off the bad when they come on the phone.

- 1:14:17Speaker 1: me once a week. I appreciate waste. We talked about
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: once a week though, we just talked on like week
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: because Junior talked about an hour, because you know, we
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: got to catch up. Yeah, I ain't talking a little
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: dude one talking wait a night too. Yeah, yeah, I

- 1:14:41Speaker 1: a body call. I ain't talking a little dude that
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: day though, I've been talking to my wife every day.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, we are out all right.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Coming up more more of today's strending stories of the
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. At twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: the acting Secretary of the Navy, Thomas Maudley blasted the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: now fired commander of the USS, Theodore Roosevelt, and called
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: the former commander, Captain Brett Crozier, naive and stupid for
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: for intentionally leaking a memo that he sent to his
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Navy bosses warning about coronavirus spreading aboard his aircraft carrier.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Captain Crozier wanted to let his sailors off the ship
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: to stop them from being infected. The captain was fired.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: We all recently saw on social media the massive salute
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to Captain Crozier and the sailors thanked him for his actions.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: While mister Acting Secretary of the Navy, people believe you
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: got it wrong, and Captain Crozier is hailed as a
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: hero for risking his career to save his sailors lives.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The captain should have received gratitude and not punishment. Sending
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: prayers of healing to Captain Crogier because he has now
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: tested positive for COVID nineteen. Man, after all that, you know,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: he lost his job. Yeah, he lost his job trying
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: to save other people. Yeah. See, man, that's when the Navy,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: that's when the other seat you got to be a
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: look and see. I don't think that you can go
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: against the naval court in the regular court. I'm not
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: sure about that. I think they have a separate judicial system.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: So that's like, that's like that's an injustice, man, cause
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: some butthole's been sitting around. You don't tell that about
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: our naval ships, all right, Marl of the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Morning Show and some trending news coming up at thirty
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour you're listening to show. New
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: York's new coronavirus cases dropped for the first time yesterday,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: which is good news. However, in other parts of the country,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: the coronavirus death rate for New Orleans is double that
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: of New York. Uh, yeah, that's sad. In Chicago, research
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: shows that more than half of the COVID nineteen cases
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: are in the African American community. Uh. In Detroit, it
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: continues to become a national focus, with Detroit having the
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: third highest number of cases in the country. We all
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: saw the viral video of the of the Detroit bus
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: driver Jason Hargrove, who complained about it. Yeah, this was
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: this was really terrible. He complained about a woman passenger
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: not covering her mouth while coughing on his bus and sadly,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Jason Hargrove passed away from COVID nineteen. His widow, Um, yeah, missus,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Desha Hargrove is pleading for everyone to please stay home.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: She said, this is serious and you don't want to
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: be in my situation. Planning a funeral for your loved one.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: So Steve, we we just we have to encourage everyone
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: to stay home. Please stay home. This is not optional. Look,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: we have to view it like this. You have to protect.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: This is not just protecting yourself so you don't get it.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: This is to protect anybody that you love. Let me
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: give you an example of what can happen. You can
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: go outside because you can get it airborne. You can
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: get it off cardboard, plastic, stainless steel. I have a
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: list of how long the COVID virus lives on different surfaces,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and it was sort of amazing. I kind of got
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: this today from somebody, and I'm gonna give it to
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: y'all a little bit later on, and I'm gonna show
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: you how it lives on certain surfaces. You can get
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: it from anywhere, cardboard, stainless steel, countertops, airborne, direct contact.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: It's not just handwashing. You gotta be careful so many things.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: So now a delivery bag can come to your house,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: somebody with COVID nineteen who packed it, who doesn't know
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: that they're showing any symptoms, could cough. Put hand on
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: the bag, you pick it up, get it on your hand,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: take it in your house, inadvertently you're not thinking boom.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: So now you gotta be careful. Now you get it,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: you don't know you have the symptoms, and you take
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: it into your house with the people you love, and
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: you got an older person living there who with a
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: previous condition. Now you're hurting the people that you really love.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: It's not just you. We've got to get together so
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: we can protect ourselves, our love ones, and the other
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: people in the public who are unaware. We're working very
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: hard on this end right here. If we do these things,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: we can flatten this curve and we can get out
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: of this. But until we all start taking this serious,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: every single person in this country, we're going to keep
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: fighting like this. All right, coming up our last break
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: of the day. It's the last break of the day,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: sad life, yes, sorry, and coming up some closing remarks
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: minutes after right after this you're listening show. All right,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day on this Tuesday,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: last break of the day. It was a good day.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Huh yeah, you guys think, yeah, yeah, that's all we got. Yes, yeah,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: as we learned, you know, get used to this. New normal,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I gotta change that light and infridgerated
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: that what I got to do today when I get
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: off here with y'all. Wow, it's out out. Oh time,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: he's raining out here, man, So yeah, walking in the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: backyard is out. I did something other dad never done.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I literally cig on and see how long I could
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: walk in the rain yesterday before it go out. Losing
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: It doesn't matter time. Yeah, yeah, I can't do my
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: makeup tomorrow. Okay, you know, try to think of things
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to do. Steve might We'll clean that chimney that's dirty,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you know, Mike, we'll clean that. Are you watching that
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: new show we teld you about Steve on Netflix Wentworth? Yes, yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I just started. That's so good. I fell asleep, so
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I gotta go back catching later on to day. All right,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: let's go closing remarks. You know what, during this time
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: right here, I want to tell you all, talk to
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: you about upside, because there's an upside to this situation.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: You just got to look forward. You know. It's all
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: in what you hope for and inspire. It really is, man,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: It has a lot to do with it. Your attitude
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: through the whole thing. You can win behind this and
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: as precautions we all have to take. We got that.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: But there's a victory in this for those who believe
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: there is an upside. There's a lot of possibilities after this.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Because this is going to be over. Nothing lasts forever.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Then we don't know. We can plan and all like this,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: but we just really don't know. But the one thing
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I do know that this two shall pass. This is
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: not the end of the world. This is not the
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: end of time. It's going to pass. And all I'm
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: thinking about are the possibilities. Number One, I'll be relaxed,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: We'll all be refreshed, We'll all be well rested. So
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: guess what the possibilities when this is old. It's almost endless.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: There's a lot to be grateful for during this time
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: right here, but you have to look for it. You
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: have to look for this time of refreshment and ease.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: You have to look for the time to improve several
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: areas of your life. You have to look for the
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: family time. You have to look for the ability to
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: get to know one another better. You have to look
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: for It's a lot of grateful stuff some people are
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: walk coming out of. It's gonna be better cooks. It's
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: just all types of things. Possibilities and gratitude is everywhere.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: And then there's going to be opportunity behind this. That's
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: going to be an opportunity for you to change and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: grow after this, because nothing will be the same after this.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: We will go back to a new norm after this.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: So guess what. Sometimes when you don't jump, sometimes you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: get pushed. Sometimes when you don't jump, you get tripped
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: off the cliff. But one way or the other, behind
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: this there would be a new norm, I think. And
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: but in that new norm will create an opportunity for
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: a lot of people to reinvent themselves. Some of us
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: needed to move on from a situation anyway. This may
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: be the gift inside this box, but we got to
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: open it. There as a lot of joy in this
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: time right here, but you got to look forward. It's
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: some fun stuff, some funny stuff, some joyous moments happening
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: in this, but you got to look forward. There is
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: also a lot of hope in moments like these as
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: a lot of times, man, were you now if it
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: wasn't for hope, what would you do? Think about that
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: for a moment, if it wasn't for the element of
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: hope what you do hoping that when this ends, you
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: can go ac over here, hoping when this ends, you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: can start doing this, hoping when this ends you can
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: become that hope is very valid in a time like this.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: There's a lot of that going on right now. I
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: hope this ends. I hope we flatten the curve. It's
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: a lot of hope. When this hope can be a
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: positive spin. You know, there's a lot of dreams that
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: can come out of this. You've had a lot of
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: time to sit around. You could dust off some of
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: those dreams, you know, some of those things that you
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: forgot about, some of those things that you stop, stop
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: striving for. You know, some of those things, you know,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: some of those things you thought you didn't have time for,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: some of those things you thought wouldn't be a good time.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: But since we thought about what was going to be
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: a good time, did anybody think that this would be
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: happening at this time now? Which just goes to showcase
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: none of us predict the future. Now, you got all
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: these people going back over years and this psychic said
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: this or this minutes to have predicted this and so forth.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: And I ain't disputing that but really know, because if
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: they really know, if they really knew, wouldn't they have
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: really done something about it. So looks a lot of
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: times in here where you can fulfill a lot of
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: dreams and dust them all. You can make plans. You
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: got time now, you can set goals. You get pretty
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: creative right now because you got the time. There's a
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: lot of good can come out of this time. You
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: just got to look for those are my closing remarks
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: or as always I would love to say, have a
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: good weekend. But when Sadday and Sunday get here, guess
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: what it's gonna be, just like Thursday. So now we
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: got to worry about the weekend no more, because if
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: coronavirus ain't no more weekends, they all days for all
