Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:06Speaker 2: we were right. I hate to say it, but a
- 0:08Speaker 2: convention bomp does not exist anymore. With the new candidate,
- 0:12Speaker 2: Kamala Harris, well, that's exactly right.
- 0:14Speaker 3: We've got a serious fight at the top of the
- 0:16Speaker 3: ticket for who's going to be the next president. Now,
- 0:19Speaker 3: borders are Kamala Harris was in Texas yesterday. She was
- 0:23Speaker 3: in Houston, you're in my hometown. Of course, she didn't
- 0:26Speaker 3: go to the southern border. Instead, she went to talk
- 0:29Speaker 3: to the teachers' unions. We're going to break that down
- 0:31Speaker 3: and really underscore what this election is all about, which
- 0:34Speaker 3: is the open borders and the threat to safety and
- 0:37Speaker 3: security of every family in America. We're going to break
- 0:40Speaker 3: that down in depth. We're also going to talk about
- 0:43Speaker 3: the director of the Secret Service finally finally resigned. Of course,
- 0:47Speaker 3: nobody gets fired in the Joe Biden administration, but she
- 0:50Speaker 3: finally resigned after disastrous testimony before the House of Representatives.
- 0:54Speaker 3: We're going to talk about that and the catastrophic security
- 0:58Speaker 3: failures that led to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
- 1:03Speaker 3: An assassination attempt that came within a half inch of
- 1:06Speaker 3: being successful and changing the entire course of history. And
- 1:11Speaker 3: why those security failures happen, what we need to do
- 1:14Speaker 3: to prevent them going forward. We're gonna get into that
- 1:15Speaker 3: as well.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's certainly important, especially with those security failures, and
- 1:20Speaker 2: what we now know will break that down.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Let me tell you about Blackout Coffee real quick.

- 1:33Speaker 2: I did that for too long. And there's also something
- 1:35Speaker 2: else when it comes to coffee. There are a lot
- 1:37Speaker 2: of really woke liberal companies out there. Now I don't
- 1:40Speaker 2: want to get my money to them. If you're like me,

- 2:55Speaker 2: Kamala Harris, she's in Houston. I just saw our motorcade
- 2:59Speaker 2: about twenty minutes ago. I kid you not as you
- 3:01Speaker 2: and I are recording this. She's all about coming to Houston.
- 3:04Speaker 2: But dead, gummet. She still won't go to the border.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Will she?
- 3:09Speaker 3: So borders are Kamala Harris when she comes to Texas.
- 3:12Speaker 3: She never ever ever goes to the border. In her
- 3:16Speaker 3: entire tenure as Vice president. She's been to the border once.
- 3:18Speaker 3: She went to El Paso for like twelve minutes. They
- 3:20Speaker 3: cleaned it up so she didn't see illegal immigrants, and
- 3:23Speaker 3: then she left. She did not go to the Rio
- 3:25Speaker 3: Grande Valley. She did not go to Eagle Pass, she
- 3:27Speaker 3: did not go to Del Rio.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Instead.
- 3:30Speaker 3: She is utterly a wall. She is nowhere to be found.
- 3:33Speaker 3: But she did go to Houston to talk to the
- 3:36Speaker 3: American Federation of Teachers, the big teachers unions gathering now.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Randy Widgarden, who runs the AFT, is a hard left
- 3:45Speaker 3: Democrat activist, and it is striking. I'll tell you two
- 3:49Speaker 3: words Kamala Harris did not say when she spoke to
- 3:52Speaker 3: the Teachers Union in Houston, learning loss. She did not
- 3:56Speaker 3: accept even one iota of responsibility for the school shutdowns
- 4:02Speaker 3: that Kamala Harris champion, that Randy Wigarden champion, that shut
- 4:06Speaker 3: schools down in the wake of COVID Tens of millions
- 4:09Speaker 3: of school kids across this country had their schools shut
- 4:12Speaker 3: down for over a year, and it had devastating learning loss.
- 4:17Speaker 3: And in fact, the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris shutdowns
- 4:20Speaker 3: of schools resulted in the single greatest increase in the
- 4:25Speaker 3: racial divide on reading tests and math tests ever recorded
- 4:31Speaker 3: in this country since we began taking those tests. In
- 4:34Speaker 3: other words, what did the policies of the Democrats do?
- 4:36Speaker 3: What did the policies of the Teachers' union do? It
- 4:39Speaker 3: dramatically hurt especially low income African American kids and low
- 4:44Speaker 3: income Hispanic kids. And when Kamala Harris is in Houston
- 4:48Speaker 3: to address the Teachers' union, not one word about it. Instead,
- 4:51Speaker 3: she was screaming about the need for more gun control
- 4:54Speaker 3: and the need to control our children. I mean, it is,
- 5:00Speaker 3: it's frightening. It's a manifestation of just how extreme she is.
- 5:06Speaker 3: And again, not a word about the invasion playing out
- 5:11Speaker 3: at a southern border that Kamala Harris was ostensibly in
- 5:15Speaker 3: charge of preventing.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You know, there's also something else that really makes me laugh.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I just got done doing Fox News and they're talking
- 5:21Speaker 2: about Democrats are now are trying to convince the public
- 5:24Speaker 2: that she actually wasn't the borders are. She was more
- 5:27Speaker 2: just kind of like an ambassador for the for the administration,
- 5:31Speaker 2: so she really wasn't in charge of the border. It
- 5:34Speaker 2: was more like an honorary kind of thing, not reality.
- 5:37Speaker 2: To try to separate her from the disaster at the border,
- 5:41Speaker 2: which includes a policy of wanting to get rid of
- 5:43Speaker 2: ice all together and saying in her own words that
- 5:47Speaker 2: illegal immigrants should not be looked at as someone illegal
- 5:50Speaker 2: and they shouldn't be charged with a crime. When you
- 5:53Speaker 2: come into this country illegally, it should not be a crime.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Look, her policies and immigration have been a disaster from
- 5:59Speaker 3: day I served with Kamala in the Senate, and she
- 6:03Speaker 3: was extremely liberal. She was the most liberal senator when
- 6:06Speaker 3: she was in the Senate. And when it comes to immigration,
- 6:09Speaker 3: she's always supported open borders. She's been vocal about wanting
- 6:12Speaker 3: to abolish ice. She's been vocal about wanting to make
- 6:15Speaker 3: it not a crime to cross into this country illegally,
- 6:18Speaker 3: and the policies we've seen under the Biden Harris administration
- 6:22Speaker 3: have reflected her open border political priorities. She's not concerned
- 6:27Speaker 3: at all about the people who are losing their lives
- 6:30Speaker 3: as they cross illegally into this country. She's not concerned
- 6:32Speaker 3: at all about the children who are brutalized by human traffickers.
- 6:35Speaker 3: We know this because she won't do anything to help
- 6:38Speaker 3: those children. She's not concerned about the women who are
- 6:41Speaker 3: brutalized and raped by human traffickers. She's not concerned about
- 6:45Speaker 3: the hundreds of thousands of Americans who've died from fentanyl
- 6:48Speaker 3: overdoses because of her open borders. And I'll tell you,
- 6:52Speaker 3: she has no concern for the Americans who are being
- 6:57Speaker 3: murdered day after after day after day, for the children
- 7:02Speaker 3: who are being raped day after day after day, every
- 7:06Speaker 3: damn day.
- 7:07Speaker 4: It is happening.
- 7:09Speaker 3: And it sounds harsh to say she has no concern
- 7:12Speaker 3: about that, but it is the only conclusion you can reach,
- 7:15Speaker 3: because if she did care about them, this administration would
- 7:19Speaker 3: change their policies. They would stop releasing illegal immigrants. And listen,
- 7:23Speaker 3: I want to take a chance you and I did
- 7:25Speaker 3: two live podcasts from the RNC in Milwaukee last week,
- 7:28Speaker 3: but my entire speech to the RNC was on exactly
- 7:32Speaker 3: this topic. It was entitled every damn Day, and it's
- 7:35Speaker 3: not very long, It's only seven minutes. So I want
- 7:37Speaker 3: to play it right now on the podcast so you
- 7:39Speaker 3: can hear what I said at the RNC, because it
- 7:42Speaker 3: really does underscore what the stakes are in this elections
- 7:46Speaker 3: and what the very real human costs are of the
- 7:49Speaker 3: Kamala Harris and Joe Biden open borders we've had the
- 7:52Speaker 3: last three and a half years.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it was an incredible speech.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I was on the four watching it as you were
- 7:57Speaker 2: giving it, and it was amazing the reception of people
- 8:00Speaker 2: with the facts you're bringing here.
- 8:01Speaker 4: It is God bless Donald J. Trump.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And let me start by giving thanks to God Almighty
- 8:18Speaker 3: for protecting President Trump and for turning his head on
- 8:27Speaker 3: Saturday as the shot was fired. Together we lift up
- 8:34Speaker 3: in prayer all of our leaders for protection, and our
- 8:38Speaker 3: prayers are in particular with the family of fire Chief
- 8:42Speaker 3: Corey Comparatory and the others injured on Saturday. Never before
- 8:54Speaker 3: has an election mattered so much. We are facing an
- 8:59Speaker 3: v Asian on our southern border, not figuratively, a literal invasion.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Eleven point five million.
- 9:11Speaker 3: People have crossed our border illegally under Joe Biden.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Look around you.
- 9:22Speaker 3: This arena holds about eighteen thousand souls. Now imagine six
- 9:29Speaker 3: hundred and thirty nine arenas just like this, filled to
- 9:33Speaker 3: the brim. That is eleven point five million people, larger
- 9:39Speaker 3: than all but eight states in the nation. But the
- 9:44Speaker 3: numbers don't show us the true price that our country
- 9:48Speaker 3: is paying.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Every day.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Americans are dying, murdered, assaulted, rapes by the illegal immigrants
- 10:02Speaker 3: that the Democrats have released. Teenage girls and boys wearing
- 10:09Speaker 3: colored wristbands are being sold into a life of sex slavery.
- 10:18Speaker 3: This is evil, and it's wrong, and it is happening
- 10:24Speaker 3: every damn day. Think of Kate Steinley. She was thirty
- 10:34Speaker 3: two walking with her father on a San Francisco pier
- 10:40Speaker 3: when a bullet tore through her heart. The man who
- 10:45Speaker 3: fired that gun he'd been deported five times. Every damn day.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Think of Lake and Riley, just twenty two years old,
- 10:59Speaker 3: a nurse with dreams of healing others. She went for
- 11:05Speaker 3: a job and never came home, her life taken by
- 11:10Speaker 3: someone who should have never been here. Every damn day.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Or Rachel Morin, a beautiful mother of five, raped and
- 11:23Speaker 3: murdered in suburban Maryland by an illegal immigrant the Democrats released,
- 11:30Speaker 3: every damn day. Or Joscelyn Nungary, only twelve years old.
- 11:40Speaker 3: It was just one month ago today that she was
- 11:44Speaker 3: brutally raped and murdered in Houston by two men who
- 11:47Speaker 3: were supposed to be detained and monitored, but instead released
- 11:53Speaker 3: and allowed to roam free every damn day. These aren't
- 12:01Speaker 3: just stories or statistics. There are daughters, our sisters, our friends.
- 12:11Speaker 3: The families don't care about the empty numbers. They care
- 12:16Speaker 3: about the empty chairs at the dinner table, about the
- 12:22Speaker 3: voices they'll never hear again, about the laughter lost, and
- 12:30Speaker 3: about the dreams that will never be fulfilled. I've sat
- 12:34Speaker 3: with these families in living rooms where the silence is
- 12:38Speaker 3: so loud that it hurts, where photo albums are opened
- 12:46Speaker 3: with trembling hands. How did we get here? It happened
- 12:52Speaker 3: because Democrats cynically decided they wanted votes from illegals more
- 13:00Speaker 3: than they wanted to protect our children. Today, as a
- 13:09Speaker 3: result of Joe Biden's presidency, your family is less safe,
- 13:16Speaker 3: Your children are less safe, The country is less safe.
- 13:23Speaker 3: But here's the good news. We can fix it. And
- 13:27Speaker 3: when Donald Trump is president, we will fix it. We
- 13:46Speaker 3: know this because he's done it before. I know this
- 13:51Speaker 3: because I worked hand in hand with President Trump to
- 13:55Speaker 3: secure our border, and we achieve the lowest rate of
- 13:58Speaker 3: illegal immigration in forty five years. It's real simple. He's
- 14:11Speaker 3: done it before and he'll do it again. So tonight
- 14:21Speaker 3: I speak for Kate and Laken and Rachel. Tonight I
- 14:29Speaker 3: speak for Jocelyn, and let us go forward together and
- 14:35Speaker 3: keep our sacred oath to defend the Constitution and to
- 14:41Speaker 3: protect the American people. Let us secure our borders, enforce
- 14:45Speaker 3: our laws, protect our children, and restore the future.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Sinner, you hear that, and your speech, I think actually
- 14:56Speaker 2: is even more important now than it was when you
- 14:58Speaker 2: gave it, because this is going to be the election
- 15:00Speaker 2: With Kamala Harris, she wants an open border. She believes
- 15:05Speaker 2: people coming across are are should not be prosecuted. She
- 15:08Speaker 2: believes that ice is the enemy, the agents, and they
- 15:11Speaker 2: should be abolished. She wants to give healthcare that we
- 15:15Speaker 2: pay for as taxpayers to every illegal immigrant, which is
- 15:18Speaker 2: on giving them another incentive to come here. And she
- 15:22Speaker 2: doesn't believe in the rule of law when it comes
- 15:25Speaker 2: to people that break in the United States of America.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump is going to have to make this a
- 15:29Speaker 2: hardcore election issue, so is everybody else in my opinion,
- 15:33Speaker 2: on the ballot.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Look, this is I think the number one issue. If
- 15:37Speaker 3: you look at American families across this country, your family
- 15:40Speaker 3: is less safe today because day after day after day,
- 15:45Speaker 3: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are releasing illegal immigrants, They're
- 15:48Speaker 3: releasing murderers, they're releasing rapists, they're releasing child molesters. And
- 15:53Speaker 3: the risk every single day of terrorists coming across the
- 15:56Speaker 3: southern border goes up and up and up. We will
- 16:00Speaker 3: tragically another major terrorist attack. It is all but inevitable
- 16:05Speaker 3: given the Biden administration's weakness number one and open borders
- 16:09Speaker 3: number two, and that is front and center. There is
- 16:12Speaker 3: a reason that this election is very much about safety
- 16:15Speaker 3: and security, and I think at the end of the day,
- 16:17Speaker 3: that's why Donald Trump will be reelected because people want
- 16:20Speaker 3: their families to be safe.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Will there be accountability for the fact that Kamala Harris
- 16:25Speaker 2: also is just now they're trying to act like she
- 16:27Speaker 2: wasn't the borders are. I mean, she has to own
- 16:30Speaker 2: this right and trying to say she's not really in charge,
- 16:33Speaker 2: she was never really in charge after saying she was
- 16:35Speaker 2: in charge seems a certain insulting the American people.
- 16:40Speaker 3: It is ludicrous. I will give the Democrats credit. They
- 16:43Speaker 3: have remarkable hutspot. They're just shameless. I told a number
- 16:48Speaker 3: of Republican senators yesterday, I said, listen, any time we
- 16:52Speaker 3: do not refer to her as borders are Kamala Harris,
- 16:55Speaker 3: we're committing political malpractice. That needs to be her title
- 16:59Speaker 3: and she and she needs to have it every single
- 17:01Speaker 3: time we reference her. Now, what is amazing is in
- 17:04Speaker 3: the last forty eight hours the media that there's been
- 17:07Speaker 3: a whole spin job on almost every media cycle say no, no, no, no,
- 17:10Speaker 3: she wasn't technically the borders are. She wasn't really in charge.
- 17:13Speaker 3: It was just sort of theoretical. The funniest was Axios,
- 17:17Speaker 3: which is, you know, a big political news outlet that
- 17:20Speaker 3: every politico reads regularly. Well, Axios had this whole story
- 17:26Speaker 3: about how she wasn't really borders are. Their own publication
- 17:30Speaker 3: Axios three years ago referred to her as borders are
- 17:34Speaker 3: Kamala Harris. And then what they did it was beyond hysterical.
- 17:38Speaker 3: They issued a correction. You know what, they corrected their
- 17:41Speaker 3: story from three years ago. Yeah, the story from three
- 17:44Speaker 3: years ago. They issued a correction. Ooh, sorry, we acknowledged
- 17:47Speaker 3: she was borders are when it actually happened, but now
- 17:50Speaker 3: it's politically inconvenient, so we are I mean, it's out
- 17:53Speaker 3: of Pravda, so we're just gonna erase it out of
- 17:55Speaker 3: the record, so it never happened. The good thing is
- 17:57Speaker 3: the American people aren't stupid. Thinks they're stupid. The Democrats
- 18:01Speaker 3: think they're stupid, but everyone knows she was. The borders
- 18:04Speaker 3: are and no amount of dissembling can hide that.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile.
- 18:10Speaker 2: If you have a cell phone, and probably nine nine
- 18:12Speaker 2: percent of you do, you may not know that when
- 18:15Speaker 2: you pay your monthly bill every month the big mobile
- 18:17Speaker 2: that you are giving big donations by default to democratic causes, candidates,
- 18:23Speaker 2: and organizations, including organizations like Planned Parenthood. That is why
- 18:28Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile was started about ten well over ten years ago,
- 18:32Speaker 2: more than a decade ago. Patriot Mobile is America's only
- 18:35Speaker 2: Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I say only, I
- 18:39Speaker 2: mean it now. Patriot Mobile is incredible because they actually
- 18:43Speaker 2: take about five percent of your bill every month, that
- 18:46Speaker 2: no extra cost to you, and they give it back
- 18:48Speaker 2: to conservative causes and organizations. Yes, that support your First
- 18:54Speaker 2: and your Second Amendment rights, support the free speech, support
- 18:58Speaker 2: this sanctity of life. And that is why I love
- 19:01Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. Now. I switched to Patriot Mobile. And look,
- 19:04Speaker 2: there's a lot of people that say, I don't know
- 19:05Speaker 2: about switching. I need my great coverage I have. Now,
- 19:09Speaker 2: Look in twenty twenty four, you're using the same exact
- 19:12Speaker 2: cell towers. When you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're gonna
- 19:15Speaker 2: get the same coverage that you're used to, and when
- 19:18Speaker 2: you pay your bill every month, you know you're sitting
- 19:20Speaker 2: up for the values that you believe in. Switching has
- 19:23Speaker 2: also never been easier. You don't even have to go
- 19:25Speaker 2: to a store. You just have to call them and
- 19:28Speaker 2: they do everything over the phone.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It is easy.
- 19:31Speaker 2: They have one hundred percent US Space Customer Service team
- 19:34Speaker 2: because they believe in actually employing great Americans, and they
- 19:39Speaker 2: make switching that much easier. So keep your same cell
- 19:42Speaker 2: number you have now, keep your phone you've got, or upgrade.
- 19:45Speaker 2: The team will help you find the best plan for
- 19:47Speaker 2: your needs and you make a difference in what you
- 19:49Speaker 2: believe in every time you make a call. Just go
- 19:52Speaker 2: to Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict that's Patriotmobile dot
- 19:57Speaker 2: com slash verdict or nine Patriot that's nine seven to
- 20:02Speaker 2: two Patriot get free activation when you use the offer
- 20:05Speaker 2: code Verdict join me. Make the switch today and make
- 20:08Speaker 2: a difference with every phone call you make Patriotmobile dot

- 20:15Speaker 2: I want to move on to the other big news
- 20:16Speaker 2: and that includes Secret Service director has resigned. We've had
- 20:20Speaker 2: so much going on, lack of you know, is Joe
- 20:23Speaker 2: Biden alive as he well, can he talk to the
- 20:25Speaker 2: country after he went to hiding. Is he going to
- 20:28Speaker 2: resign from office or is he going to stay friend
- 20:30Speaker 2: of the six months we've now gone through that. This story, though,
- 20:33Speaker 2: continues to unravel about just the shocking malpractice by the
- 20:40Speaker 2: leadership of the Secret Service.
- 20:42Speaker 1: She has resigned.
- 20:43Speaker 2: The FBI director testified before Congress, but there are still
- 20:46Speaker 2: a significant number of questions that remain about the Secret
- 20:49Speaker 2: services failure to secure Trump. I want to get your
- 20:53Speaker 2: reaction to Fox News on this report just on the
- 20:57Speaker 2: issue of the BODYCM foot and it was bodycam footage
- 21:02Speaker 2: is showing I think even more shocking Grassy talking about this,
- 21:06Speaker 2: take a listen.
- 21:07Speaker 5: And new bodycam video obtained by Senator Chuck Grassley shows
- 21:11Speaker 5: events immediately after the shooting and Brian Yennis has more
- 21:14Speaker 5: on this.
- 21:15Speaker 6: New body camera video shows Beaver County Emergency Services Unit
- 21:19Speaker 6: officers running toward the shooter after the assassination attempt against
- 21:23Speaker 6: former President Trump for your host here. The officers then
- 21:29Speaker 6: try to figure out how to access the roof of
- 21:32Speaker 6: the AGR building from where the shooter fired.
- 21:34Speaker 4: That's the ladder right here.
- 21:36Speaker 3: We use the ladder.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Yeah, once up the ladder and on the roof, and
- 21:41Speaker 6: a parent Secret Service agent is overheard.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Here's a roof outside of the fence SAT.
- 21:46Speaker 6: And a trail of blood leads to the body of
- 21:48Speaker 6: twenty year old Thomas Crooks. An AR fifteen style rifle
- 21:52Speaker 6: is also seen laying next to him, as well as shell.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Casings perfect long.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Those gunshots captured in new video from that horrifying day.
- 22:15Speaker 6: An officer begins to search Crook's body, finding a cell
- 22:18Speaker 6: phone and a transmitter.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Is the device?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Great colored?
- 22:25Speaker 4: Tall?
- 22:26Speaker 6: Officers responding concerned about whether there's an active device?
- 22:30Speaker 7: I feel like gaad Kelly get.
- 22:34Speaker 6: The video also confirms accounts of pictures of Crooks and
- 22:38Speaker 6: his possessions being shared with the Secret Service before the shooting.
- 22:42Speaker 6: This is the guy, yes said, Yes County is in
- 22:50Speaker 6: These videos given to Fox were exclusively given to Senator
- 22:53Speaker 6: Chuck Grassley's office from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit
- 22:57Speaker 6: and compliance with congressional requests and you On Wednesday, a
- 23:02Speaker 6: medical update on the two survivors of that shooting. David
- 23:05Speaker 6: Dutch has been discharged from the hospital and James Copenhaveer
- 23:09Speaker 6: remains in serious but stable condition.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You listen to this report, and the whistleblowers are coming forward,
- 23:15Speaker 2: Chuck Grassey getting this video. A Hawley, for example, has
- 23:19Speaker 2: gotten apparently whistleblowers that are also exposing information to him
- 23:24Speaker 2: about the fact that drones were offered a Secret Service locally,
- 23:29Speaker 2: but apparently we're turned down saying now we don't need those.
- 23:32Speaker 2: The more we find out, the more terrified am I
- 23:35Speaker 2: am for the safety of anybody under Secret Service protection.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Look, and this is an ongoing problem. This is a
- 23:41Speaker 3: problem going forward. Sadly, this was not the only threat
- 23:44Speaker 3: directed at Donald Trump and Secret Service. It was a
- 23:47Speaker 3: catastrophic failure. There were clearly insufficient numbers of agents. There
- 23:51Speaker 3: needed to be more agents. They needed to cover the
- 23:53Speaker 3: full perimeter, They needed to cover the full distance from
- 23:56Speaker 3: which a sniper could fire. There was nobody on that
- 24:00Speaker 3: that roof was an obvious site line for the risk
- 24:02Speaker 3: of a sniper. There should have been at least one
- 24:04Speaker 3: agent on that roof. There were not enough counter snipers.
- 24:08Speaker 3: There were no counter snipers that had visibility to that
- 24:12Speaker 3: roof on the side where the sniper was hiding and
- 24:14Speaker 3: crawling up on the slanted part of the roof that
- 24:17Speaker 3: There was also no aerial support. There were no drones,
- 24:19Speaker 3: there were no helicopters. And we also have the report
- 24:24Speaker 3: that on the day of the rally, the Secret Service
- 24:28Speaker 3: pulled off members of Trump's regular detail reassigned agents to
- 24:32Speaker 3: protect First Lady Jill Biden. Now, the First Lady should
- 24:35Speaker 3: be protected, but the magnitude of threats directed at Donald
- 24:39Speaker 3: Trump in almost any universe, I would venture to say,
- 24:43Speaker 3: is hundreds, if not thousands of times greater than the
- 24:46Speaker 3: magnitude of the threats directed at the First Lady. And
- 24:49Speaker 3: I think it is likely that it was a political
- 24:51Speaker 3: decision to turn down repeated requests from the Trump campaign
- 24:57Speaker 3: from the Trump Protective Detail for more recent sources. They
- 25:00Speaker 3: saw the degree of the threats they were facing, they
- 25:03Speaker 3: knew they were understaffed, and yet the Secret Service director
- 25:08Speaker 3: listened she was hand picked by First Lady Joe Biden.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I'll tell you why I think they picked her. I
- 25:13Speaker 3: think a big part of the reason they picked her
- 25:15Speaker 3: she used to be on Biden's detail when he was
- 25:18Speaker 3: vice president. I think they picked her because they wanted
- 25:20Speaker 3: the Secret Service to do everything they could to help
- 25:24Speaker 3: cover up Joe Biden's enormous mental diminishment. They wanted to
- 25:28Speaker 3: put you know, there are multiple reports about how even
- 25:31Speaker 3: White House staff and how even like the Service staff
- 25:35Speaker 3: and the White House residents were not allowed to get
- 25:37Speaker 3: close to Joe Biden. And it was the Secret Service
- 25:40Speaker 3: really trying to keep this secret from America. And I
- 25:43Speaker 3: think they trust, They trusted the Director Cheatle to be
- 25:48Speaker 3: part of their press operation. Kimberly Cheatle was I think
- 25:51Speaker 3: picked because of her political loyalty to Joe Biden. But
- 25:55Speaker 3: you look at the decision number one to turn down
- 25:59Speaker 3: Secret Service protect to Robert F. Kennedy Junior, completely indefensible.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I believe that was made for partisan political reasons, and
- 26:06Speaker 3: number two not to adequately provide coverage for Donald Trump. Again,
- 26:10Speaker 3: I believe that was made for partisan political reasons, and
- 26:13Speaker 3: it speaks volumes that she didn't resign the day it happened.
- 26:17Speaker 3: She didn't resign two days after it happened. She didn't
- 26:19Speaker 3: resign even a week after it happened. And of course
- 26:22Speaker 3: Joe Biden and nobody in the administration fired her. Kamala
- 26:26Speaker 3: Harris didn't step up and say she needs to be fired.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Alejandro Majorcis, the head of Homeland Security, didn't step up
- 26:33Speaker 3: and say she needs to be fired. She finally resigned
- 26:36Speaker 3: when it became unbearable. And it was only after her disastrous,
- 26:41Speaker 3: disastrous performance testifying before the House that she was shamed
- 26:46Speaker 3: into resigning. But even now we don't have any confirmation
- 26:51Speaker 3: that there is the protection that is needed to ensure
- 26:54Speaker 3: that another attempt is not made on Donald Trump's life.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it was brutal for her in the House, and
- 26:59Speaker 2: also so just showed how incompetent she was as a leader.
- 27:02Speaker 2: I want to play representative Mace. One of the things
- 27:04Speaker 2: she said to her, take a listen.
- 27:06Speaker 8: Would you say leaking your opening statement to punch Bowl News,
- 27:10Speaker 8: Politico's Playbook, and Washington Post several hours before you sent
- 27:16Speaker 8: it to this committee as being political?
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yes or no?
- 27:20Speaker 5: I have no idea how my statement got out.
- 27:23Speaker 9: Well, that's bullshit.
- 27:25Speaker 8: So, mister Chairman, I would like to ask unanimous consent
- 27:29Speaker 8: to enter into the record. Articles by punch Bowl News,
- 27:31Speaker 8: Political Playbook, Washington Post all done at five twenty four am,
- 27:36Speaker 8: six twelve am, six thirty four am, a solid three
- 27:39Speaker 8: to four hours before this committee got your statement with.
- 27:43Speaker 4: That object to ordered.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Okay, they cared more about getting her statement out to
- 27:48Speaker 2: try to cover their ables's center to the press, friendly
- 27:52Speaker 2: press that she was going to make than actually testifying
- 27:56Speaker 2: about the President of the United States of America for
- 27:58Speaker 2: President Trump almost being murdered in front of the American
- 28:01Speaker 2: people in the world.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Look, this was all a pr battle.
- 28:05Speaker 3: And in this administration everything is partisan politics. Why was
- 28:10Speaker 3: the withdrawal from Afghanistan so disastrous because the White House
- 28:14Speaker 3: said a partisan political deadline, we must have everyone out
- 28:18Speaker 3: by the anniversary of September eleventh, because that's a political
- 28:21Speaker 3: victory we want to claim. Never mind if American servicemen
- 28:24Speaker 3: and women might have to die to do that. Never
- 28:26Speaker 3: mind the military advice that we cannot pull out a
- 28:29Speaker 3: bagra Mayfield until we've evacuated everyone.
- 28:32Speaker 4: That advice doesn't matter.
- 28:33Speaker 3: We've got a political objective when it comes to every
- 28:37Speaker 3: decision they make. Why Why did Joe Biden and Kamala
- 28:40Speaker 3: Harris allow American citizens to be murdered and children to
- 28:43Speaker 3: be raped every day by illegal immigrants? They release why
- 28:47Speaker 3: because they've got a partisan political objective. They want to
- 28:49Speaker 3: let in as many illegals as possible, some of whom
- 28:52Speaker 3: they hope will vote illegally in this election, the rest
- 28:55Speaker 3: of whom one day they hope to grant amnesty and
- 28:57Speaker 3: make them citizens. They hope they'll vote in later election.
- 29:00Speaker 3: But it's all about votes, and that partisan view trumps
- 29:05Speaker 3: actually keeping people safe. You look at the response of
- 29:09Speaker 3: the Secret Service. You know, Kimberly Cheedle didn't admit they
- 29:12Speaker 3: did anything wrong. That The New York Times reported that,
- 29:16Speaker 3: and this is that. There are also Jonathan Martin, who's
- 29:18Speaker 3: a reporter for Politico and it is one of the
- 29:21Speaker 3: top political reporters in Washington.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Here's what he tweeted.
- 29:24Speaker 3: The Secret Service quote expected the sizeable contingent of officers
- 29:28Speaker 3: from local law enforcement agents to contain any threats outside
- 29:32Speaker 3: of the secured zone, but assigned almost all those officers
- 29:35Speaker 3: to work inside it. According to numerous interviews with local
- 29:39Speaker 3: law enforcement and then Jonathan Martin continues, this is his tweet,
- 29:43Speaker 3: My God. With law enforcement focused elsewhere, a would be
- 29:49Speaker 3: assassin roamed freely outside the perimeter. The only officers who
- 29:54Speaker 3: got close to him were the ones who left their
- 29:57Speaker 3: designated posts to do so. Their job had been to
- 30:02Speaker 3: direct traffic. That's stunning. It is manifest in competence. I
- 30:08Speaker 3: think it is in competence at the top from political
- 30:11Speaker 3: leadership that is more focused on partisan political objectives than
- 30:15Speaker 3: on the solemn job of keeping their protectees safe. And
- 30:19Speaker 3: the result was a catastrophic failure.
- 30:22Speaker 2: You talk about just the bureaucratic bs whether or and
- 30:27Speaker 2: this reminds me of what happened in our pull out
- 30:30Speaker 2: in Afghanistan at the airport that cost American soldiers their lives.
- 30:33Speaker 2: We knew we had apparently a bomber there, right they
- 30:38Speaker 2: saw somebody, There was a call that went out. No
- 30:41Speaker 2: one apparently could make the decision on how to deal
- 30:43Speaker 2: with them. Game over suicide. Bomber decides to do it
- 30:48Speaker 2: and it cost American their lives. You'll look at this guy.
- 30:52Speaker 2: There was so many I would say, dumb criminal moves
- 30:57Speaker 2: that this guy, as a criminal did before he ever
- 31:01Speaker 2: got up on that roof. That was warnings that any
- 31:05Speaker 2: logical person would know, don't let this guy in around
- 31:10Speaker 2: this venue. Example of that is the damn range finder
- 31:13Speaker 2: which she was asked about.
- 31:15Speaker 9: Did he have a rangefinder? There were some reports that
- 31:19Speaker 9: the individual had a rangefinder that would certainly raise my suspicion.
- 31:24Speaker 9: Did he have a rangefinder?
- 31:27Speaker 5: Yes he did, But may I explain that at a
- 31:30Speaker 5: number of our sites, especially when you're at outdoor venues,
- 31:33Speaker 5: a rangefinder is not a prohibited item. It is sometimes
- 31:36Speaker 5: an item that is brought in by individuals are going.
- 31:39Speaker 4: To be anybody.
- 31:40Speaker 9: Anybody confront him on that, Anybody ask him questions, what
- 31:44Speaker 9: are you doing with the rangefinder? Anybody confront him on
- 31:49Speaker 9: his presence where he was in proximity to the president.
- 31:52Speaker 5: So, again, to my knowledge, I believe that that was
- 31:54Speaker 5: the process that was taking place, was to locate the individual.
- 31:58Speaker 9: Did they confront him?
- 32:00Speaker 2: I mean they would know he had it to then
- 32:03Speaker 2: be able to confront him. It's a very simple question.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So the guy's got a range finder. Apparently no one
- 32:08Speaker 2: confronts him on that. They then start putting out pictures
- 32:12Speaker 2: that the FBI everybody has of this guy they can't find.
- 32:15Speaker 2: They put the president up on the stage, they get
- 32:17Speaker 2: on top of the roof and they're like, oh, hey,
- 32:19Speaker 2: look you here, we got the guy that we sent
- 32:22Speaker 2: the pictures out about. And then if you go back
- 32:24Speaker 2: in time to what I mentioned a moment ago center,
- 32:27Speaker 2: you also had the other concern, and that is from
- 32:31Speaker 2: this whistleblower that said, hey, law enforcement partners offered drones
- 32:37Speaker 2: to the Secret Service before Butler Pennsylvania Trump rally. This
- 32:42Speaker 2: Secret Service decline. But this twenty year old shooter he
- 32:47Speaker 2: used on the day of the rally. Really, you see
- 32:51Speaker 2: a drone in the air and you're good with it.
- 32:53Speaker 2: You see a range final, you're good with it. You
- 32:55Speaker 2: lose the guy you put the president on stage.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Look, my assumption is that the person was vastly undermanned,
- 33:02Speaker 3: and that the senior leadership of the Secret Service was
- 33:06Speaker 3: not treating Donald Trump as the presumptive Republican nominee as
- 33:10Speaker 3: the next president of the United States, and they were
- 33:12Speaker 3: undermanning him for partisan political reasons. Not only that, so
- 33:16Speaker 3: The Washington Post on July twentieth wrote a bombshell story.
- 33:20Speaker 3: The headline was Secret Service said to have denied requests
- 33:23Speaker 3: for more security at Trump events. Top officials repeatedly rejected
- 33:28Speaker 3: requests from Trump's security detail for more manpower and gear
- 33:31Speaker 3: at events before attempted assassination, at times citing lack of resources,
- 33:36Speaker 3: people familiar with the asks say, and here's what the
- 33:38Speaker 3: Washington Post reported quote. Top officials at the US Secret
- 33:42Speaker 3: Service repeatedly denied requests for additional resources and personnel sought
- 33:47Speaker 3: by Donald Trump's security detail in the two years leading
- 33:50Speaker 3: up to his attempted assassination at I rally in Pennsylvania
- 33:53Speaker 3: last Saturday. According to four people familiar with the requests,
- 33:57Speaker 3: agents charged with protecting the former president requested magnetometers and
- 34:01Speaker 3: more agents to screen attendees at sporting events and other
- 34:04Speaker 3: large public gatherings Trump attended, as well as additional snipers
- 34:08Speaker 3: and specialty items at other outdoor events, said the people,
- 34:11Speaker 3: who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss secret
- 34:14Speaker 3: security discussions. The requests, which have not been previously reported,
- 34:19Speaker 3: were sometimes denied by senior officials at the agency, who
- 34:22Speaker 3: cited various regions, including a lack of resources at an
- 34:26Speaker 3: agency that has long struggled with staffing shortages. These rejections,
- 34:32Speaker 3: in response to requests that were several times made in writing,
- 34:37Speaker 3: led to long standing tensions that pitted Trump his top
- 34:42Speaker 3: aid set his security detail against Secret Service leadership, as
- 34:46Speaker 3: Trump advisors privately fretted that the vaunted security agency was
- 34:51Speaker 3: not doing enough to protect the former president. Now, what
- 34:56Speaker 3: did the Secret Service say in the wake of the
- 34:59Speaker 3: attempt as set fascination. Well, that they put out Here's
- 35:04Speaker 3: what the Secret Service spokesman said on July fourteenth. Quote,
- 35:10Speaker 3: there's an untrue assertion that a member of the former
- 35:14Speaker 3: president's team requested additional security resources and that those were rebuffed.
- 35:20Speaker 3: This is absolutely false. In fact, we added protective resources
- 35:26Speaker 3: and technology and capabilities as part of the increased campaign
- 35:31Speaker 3: travel tempo. Now that's a tweet by Anthony goog Lemi,
- 35:37Speaker 3: who is the Secret Service spokesperson. It was an official tweet,
- 35:42Speaker 3: and it was a flat out lie. And by the way,
- 35:45Speaker 3: it wasn't an assertion that a member requested additional security.
- 35:49Speaker 3: What the Washington Post reported was that his protective detail,
- 35:53Speaker 3: the Secret Service agents on the detail repeatedly requested additional
- 35:58Speaker 3: security and repeat heatedly, they were turned down. Why is
- 36:02Speaker 3: it that the Secret Service is publicly lying on the
- 36:05Speaker 3: record and trying to cover up their disastrous failures.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and the excuses are getting truly incredible. Before I
- 36:12Speaker 2: tell you about that, I want to remind you about
- 36:15Speaker 2: what's going on in Israel. The people in Israel right
- 36:18Speaker 2: now still very much desperately need your help. They are
- 36:22Speaker 2: absolutely under attack, this time with a massive rocket attack
- 36:26Speaker 2: that just came in from Hesbla. Since October the Seventh
- 36:29Speaker 2: attacks on Israel have increased, with Iran and its proxies
- 36:33Speaker 2: launching attack after attack, hundreds and hundreds of drones and missiles.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Israel and the Israeli people are living with the harsh
- 36:41Speaker 2: reality of terror every day, and the need right now
- 36:45Speaker 2: is bomb shelters. The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
- 36:48Speaker 2: is on the ground right now addressing all the urgent needs,
- 36:52Speaker 2: and that's why I want you to partner with IFCJ today.
- 36:56Speaker 2: While praying for the best, IFCJ is also preparing for
- 36:59Speaker 2: the worse by packing emergency bomb shelter kits that can
- 37:03Speaker 2: be delivered immediately to those in desperate need. And your
- 37:06Speaker 2: life saving donation today will help assemble and place these
- 37:09Speaker 2: kits with enough food and life saving emergency supplies for
- 37:12Speaker 2: twenty people huddled in a bomb shelter. The cost to
- 37:16Speaker 2: put together and distribute these kits is just two hundred
- 37:19Speaker 2: and ninety dollars and your gift will help save lives.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And thanks to a matching challenge from a generous IFC supporter,
- 37:28Speaker 2: your gift will be doubled in impact to help provide
- 37:31Speaker 2: twice the support. Now, all you have to do is
- 37:34Speaker 2: call them triple eight for eight eight IFCJ. That's eight
- 37:39Speaker 2: eight eight four eight eight IFCJ eight a eight for
- 37:45Speaker 2: eight eight IFCJ. You can also go online to support
- 37:49Speaker 2: IFCJ dot org to give that's one word, support IFCJ
- 37:55Speaker 2: dot org to stand with the people in Israel. I
- 37:58Speaker 2: even got to say there were some Democrats that were
- 38:01Speaker 2: even shocked over just the absurdity of the Secret Service
- 38:06Speaker 2: screwing this up. One of them was a Democrat on
- 38:08Speaker 2: the House Oversight Committee that was questioning the Secret Service
- 38:11Speaker 2: director before she resigned. And this was just about the
- 38:15Speaker 2: roof and where the shooter was. It is shocking, Listen.
- 38:19Speaker 7: Pri Cheetel. As you know, the shooter began shooting at
- 38:24Speaker 7: six eleven pm Eastern on July thirteenth. NBC reported that
- 38:28Speaker 7: at five point fifty one pm, twenty minutes before the
- 38:31Speaker 7: shooting began, the State police informed the Secret Service of
- 38:34Speaker 7: their concern. Now, the rally was not pause at that point, correct, No,
- 38:39Speaker 7: And according to NBC, just two minutes later, at five
- 38:42Speaker 7: point fifty three pm, the Secret Service notified it's snipers
- 38:47Speaker 7: about the gunman. The rally wasn't paused at that point either, correct.
- 38:53Speaker 6: No.
- 38:54Speaker 7: Let me show you some video footage by rally goers.
- 38:57Speaker 7: If you could play the video on the screen up here,
- 39:01Speaker 7: This was taken two minutes before the shooting start. If
- 39:04Speaker 7: you could turn up the volume.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Dangerous, ma'am.
- 39:22Speaker 7: That doesn't look like suspicious behavior. That looks like threatening
- 39:25Speaker 7: behavior to me. And the rally wasn't pause at that
- 39:28Speaker 7: point either.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Correct.
- 39:30Speaker 5: I can tell you, as I stated earlier, sir, that
- 39:32Speaker 5: the moment that the shift surrounding the president were aware
- 39:37Speaker 5: of an actual threat.
- 39:39Speaker 4: That's a threat right there.
- 39:41Speaker 7: The guy's on the roof and everybody's yelling at him
- 39:43Speaker 7: yes and directing the officer's attention to him. The rally
- 39:47Speaker 7: was not pause at that point. Correct.
- 39:49Speaker 5: We are currently still combing through communications and when communications
- 39:54Speaker 5: were passed.
- 39:55Speaker 7: Well, I can point you to this communication. It's two
- 39:57Speaker 7: minutes before the shots started ringing out director title, Yes
- 40:00Speaker 7: or no? Was there ever a moment where the Secret
- 40:04Speaker 7: Service actually considered pausing the rally.
- 40:07Speaker 5: The Secret Service would have paused the rally had they
- 40:10Speaker 5: known or been so.
- 40:12Speaker 7: The answer is no, an actual threat, the answer is no.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Correct.
- 40:16Speaker 5: I can speak to you in generalities.
- 40:19Speaker 7: No, No, I don't want general communication. The answer is no,
- 40:23Speaker 7: you did not consider pausing the rally. Correct.
- 40:26Speaker 5: The people that are in charge of protecting the president
- 40:29Speaker 5: on that day would never bring the former president out
- 40:32Speaker 5: if there was a threat that had been identified.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Well they did, because we've now identified three points and
- 40:40Speaker 7: the twenty minutes before the shooting that the threat emerged.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I mean, Senator, you listened to this, and I worry
- 40:47Speaker 2: final question for you about not just the incumbency of
- 40:51Speaker 2: the directors resigned, but the people that she's hired in
- 40:54Speaker 2: the bureaucracy underneath her. She may be gone, but if
- 40:58Speaker 2: there's others that trick all the way down to the
- 41:00Speaker 2: events level and this is allowed to happen, I mean,
- 41:03Speaker 2: for goodness sake, their excuse about the roof being too
- 41:06Speaker 2: sloped to put people up there, well, guess what where
- 41:08Speaker 2: the counter sniper team was. We found out that roof
- 41:11Speaker 2: was actually sloped at a higher degree of angle than
- 41:14Speaker 2: the roof where the shooters shot from, So she was
- 41:16Speaker 2: lying to us.
