- 2:05Speaker 9: You're listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 9: I want it only Steve Harvey Man oh.
- 2:09Speaker 8: Man got a radio show, got good one for you today.
- 2:13Speaker 9: And it just happened to me. You know, I was
- 2:15Speaker 9: going through something that I've been going through for a
- 2:18Speaker 9: long long time and just weary of it all. And
- 2:21Speaker 9: I've been talking to God about it, and I mean
- 2:24Speaker 9: for years.
- 2:25Speaker 8: Though.
- 2:26Speaker 9: What happened was I had had to go through some
- 2:30Speaker 9: more of it yesterday again a situation. But you know what,
- 2:34Speaker 9: after it was over, you know, I kind of laid
- 2:37Speaker 9: in it for a little while. You know how you've
- 2:38Speaker 9: been going through something for so long and then even
- 2:41Speaker 9: if it's over or appears to be over, you still
- 2:44Speaker 9: kind of lay in it a little bit, and you
- 2:46Speaker 9: know you have a while. Man, I can't believe I've
- 2:49Speaker 9: been dealing with this this long, even though even though
- 2:52Speaker 9: it's over. I don't know how you do it, but
- 2:55Speaker 9: this was so good for me. Have you ever counted,
- 2:58Speaker 9: Steve Harvey? Many many times you made it? And so
- 3:01Speaker 9: that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's what I
- 3:04Speaker 9: did this morning when I woke up. I was actually
- 3:08Speaker 9: taking an inventory account of how many times I made it.
- 3:12Speaker 9: How many times, man, I didn't have the rent and
- 3:16Speaker 9: somehow I came up with it. How many times I
- 3:18Speaker 9: didn't have my house payment and somehow I came up
- 3:22Speaker 9: with it. How many times I was out of money,
- 3:25Speaker 9: did not have enough, didn't see no way, but somehow
- 3:29Speaker 9: I came up with it. How many times I got sick, thought, well, man,
- 3:34Speaker 9: this one right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 3:36Speaker 9: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 3:42Speaker 9: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 3:46Speaker 9: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times,
- 3:53Speaker 9: somehow I made it. I look at all the accidents
- 3:57Speaker 9: I've been in, but he kept me mad. I think
- 4:01Speaker 9: about even the simplest times of like stepping off a
- 4:04Speaker 9: curve and almost got hit, but I made it. I
- 4:07Speaker 9: was just tripping the other day. I was thinking about
- 4:10Speaker 9: the times that I've been hit by a car and
- 4:13Speaker 9: it could have been worse, but it wasn't, And I
- 4:15Speaker 9: made it through that too. I was thinking about, Man,
- 4:18Speaker 9: when they count you out. Do you know how many
- 4:21Speaker 9: times I've been counted out? He's done? He ain't gonna
- 4:25Speaker 9: be nothing, He ain't nobody. See what I told y'all,
- 4:29Speaker 9: look at over that they counsel this. He offered that
- 4:32Speaker 9: he out of here. He ain't gonna make it. He
- 4:34Speaker 9: didne got fired. Man, You know how many times I've
- 4:37Speaker 9: been counted out? You know how many times they done
- 4:39Speaker 9: wrote me off? How many times have you been written off?
- 4:42Speaker 8: Man? But here you still stand? Yeah, you ever tripped
- 4:44Speaker 8: on it?
- 4:45Speaker 9: Take an inventory, y'all of how many times? Count the
- 4:50Speaker 9: times you've made it? What about the times man, when
- 4:52Speaker 9: nobody was there.
- 4:53Speaker 8: To encourage you?
- 4:55Speaker 9: But you still here though you have tripped on that?
- 4:59Speaker 9: Ain't nobody called you and told you good day? Nobody
- 5:01Speaker 9: called you and told you recently thank you. No one's
- 5:04Speaker 9: called you and told you how much you meant to them,
- 5:06Speaker 9: how much you've done for them? Or man, you can
- 5:08Speaker 9: make it. Never give up. Keep your head up, man,
- 5:10Speaker 9: keep grinding. But you still here, even when nobody. Have
- 5:14Speaker 9: you counted the times man, that you made it anyway?
- 5:19Speaker 9: Have you counted the times that you felt like quitting,
- 5:22Speaker 9: you felt like giving up, you kept going?
- 5:26Speaker 8: How about the time this is a good one right here?
- 5:28Speaker 9: How about the times man, when everybody's standing around saying,
- 5:31Speaker 9: ain't no way, ain't no way. Man, I can't tell
- 5:34Speaker 9: you how many times I've heard this, ain't no way,
- 5:37Speaker 9: and then somehow there is a way. You know why,
- 5:40Speaker 9: because he make a way.
- 5:42Speaker 8: You understand.
- 5:43Speaker 9: You know how many times I've heard this one right here, Steve,
- 5:47Speaker 9: listen to me, man, nobody ever before has done that.
- 5:51Speaker 8: You can't do that. How many times you done heard
- 5:54Speaker 8: no or you know anybody that done that? You can't
- 5:58Speaker 8: do that.
- 5:59Speaker 9: No one has ever done that. I made it anyway.
- 6:04Speaker 9: You know, they don't normally or we don't normally allow this,
- 6:12Speaker 9: but in this case, for you, we gonna make an exception.
- 6:16Speaker 9: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 6:19Speaker 9: I'm onto something? How many times have you heard in
- 6:23Speaker 9: your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally allow this,
- 6:29Speaker 9: but we gonna make this exception in your case, how
- 6:33Speaker 9: many times you done heard that?
- 6:36Speaker 8: Have you ever counted the times that you made it?
- 6:41Speaker 8: Everybody out except me?
- 6:45Speaker 9: How can that be? You know you're the only one
- 6:48Speaker 9: that got through this? Congratulations? Wow, man, I don't hardly
- 6:54Speaker 9: see this too many times. But do you realize that
- 6:57Speaker 9: normally this is what happened to people? But man, and y'all,
- 7:00Speaker 9: I don't know how your name came up, but here
- 7:02Speaker 9: you are. Wow, it never happens like that. You ever
- 7:05Speaker 9: counted those times I was doing it yesterday? I was
- 7:09Speaker 9: doing it this morning. I was just taking an inventory
- 7:12Speaker 9: everybody of how many times I've made it? So what
- 7:15Speaker 9: I learned yesterday was when God gets you through something,
- 7:20Speaker 9: when he pulled you out on the other side, no
- 7:23Speaker 9: matter how difficult or how long it took. When He
- 7:26Speaker 9: gets you out on the other side, why don't you
- 7:29Speaker 9: get up, dust yourself off, and start trying what you
- 7:34Speaker 9: laying that for?
- 7:35Speaker 7: Man?
- 7:35Speaker 8: Wallowing in it, going over it, recycling it in your mind.
- 7:40Speaker 9: So many people can't move forward because we keep recycling
- 7:45Speaker 9: stuff in our mind when clearly it's time to move on,
- 7:52Speaker 9: it's time to let go, it's time to go and
- 7:55Speaker 9: see what God has for you. Stop looking at what
- 7:59Speaker 9: you lost lost, what you lost was probably not yours
- 8:04Speaker 9: to have in the first all.
- 8:05Speaker 8: Oh, in the first place. Do you know the things
- 8:14Speaker 8: I've lost?
- 8:15Speaker 9: Now, I'm not talking about losing a loved one, a
- 8:17Speaker 9: mother or father, nothing like that. I'm talking about innate
- 8:20Speaker 9: objects or situation. Do you know the things I've lost? Man,
- 8:24Speaker 9: I look back on it. I wasn't supposed to have
- 8:26Speaker 9: them in the first place, or they was doing me
- 8:28Speaker 9: no good. I wasn't wasn't mine to lose, but I
- 8:31Speaker 9: claimed I lost it. Come on, man, take an inventory everybody.
- 8:35Speaker 9: Start looking at the things man, that God has brought
- 8:37Speaker 9: you through. Start looking at how many times He allowed
- 8:40Speaker 9: you to make it, and get glad about him. Waking
- 8:42Speaker 9: up in the morning, Man, get glad about your life.
- 8:44Speaker 9: Start feeling something positive about your situation. You cannot expect
- 8:49Speaker 9: God to continue to bless you if you're not grateful
- 8:53Speaker 9: for the things that you have. Why would God sitting
- 8:56Speaker 9: down here looking at you, upset and laying in the
- 9:02Speaker 9: wall of what you are not grateful for? You just
- 9:07Speaker 9: can't find the scene and find no gratitude in your
- 9:09Speaker 9: heart about nothing, but you steady asking God for something.
- 9:12Speaker 9: So now you think God is crazy? You think he
- 9:14Speaker 9: gonna give you some more stuff to not be grateful for.
- 9:17Speaker 9: Are you kidding me? Why would he do that. He's
- 9:21Speaker 9: too full of too much mercy to send you through
- 9:24Speaker 9: that over and over and over. The more I give
- 9:26Speaker 9: my child, the more ungrateful they are, the less gratitude
- 9:30Speaker 9: they show. But I'm gonna keep dumping it on them
- 9:32Speaker 9: so they can keep feeling ungrateful and then show like
- 9:34Speaker 9: a gratitude. God's not gonna do that to you. Come on, man,
- 9:39Speaker 9: have you ever counted how many times you made it?
- 9:45Speaker 9: I can't count how many times God then got me
- 9:47Speaker 9: through something. But when He gets you through it, you
- 9:50Speaker 9: ain't get up and get on about your business. Don't
- 9:52Speaker 9: lay that in it. It's over, it's done, you made it,
- 9:55Speaker 9: you survived it.
- 9:56Speaker 8: Let's go. Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.

- 12:04Speaker 9: I used to oh, oh, I used to karramit. Now
- 12:08Speaker 9: that's used to them days gone though it's gone. Hey man,
- 12:13Speaker 9: let me explain some t I got a basketball, right,
- 12:16Speaker 9: got a cord net on it, so it rained outside.
- 12:19Speaker 9: So you know, when it rained the cord the net
- 12:21Speaker 9: tighten up. I'm out there with Marjorie, we shooting balls.
- 12:24Speaker 9: We ain't made one in about six shots. She messed
- 12:27Speaker 9: around and threw one in and it's stuck in the neck. Oh,
- 12:32Speaker 9: you gotta jump up there and knock it out to
- 12:34Speaker 9: get you down. And you know, I just stuck in
- 12:37Speaker 9: the neck. And she said, baby, get that. And I
- 12:40Speaker 9: stood there and look, I said, damn, that used to be.
- 12:47Speaker 8: Dog in today.
- 12:49Speaker 9: So the first time I didn't realize how much hops
- 12:52Speaker 9: I had lost, and I just missed the whole net
- 12:54Speaker 9: and everything. Then my wife was looking at me. So
- 12:57Speaker 9: I went back and took two steps, got up there
- 13:00Speaker 9: and just badly got it out the net. But when
- 13:03Speaker 9: I came down to the ground, the shock of had
- 13:07Speaker 9: never hadn't jumped that fine years.
- 13:10Speaker 8: The shock me shut mine tie.
- 13:14Speaker 9: Butt up and pushed it up in me a little bit.
- 13:18Speaker 9: That just went up in me like I inhaled my
- 13:22Speaker 9: butt inside of it. I just I didn't know what
- 13:24Speaker 9: to get it yeah, we quit after that.
- 13:28Speaker 5: We get it.
- 13:29Speaker 3: We get it.

- 13:34Speaker 10: See coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,

- 16:15Speaker 2: a little bit longer than usual. But we don't give
- 16:18Speaker 2: a fuck about that as long as she's happy.

- 40:26Speaker 8: Mother Ferguson.
- 40:29Speaker 9: You keep on here, keep on, Mama Ferguson. You keep

- 40:54Speaker 1: What you need to do it shut your pie hole, right,
- 40:57Speaker 1: shut it? Shut your pie Oh.

- 41:46Speaker 8: How close can I get?
- 41:49Speaker 1: Right up on the wall?
- 41:51Speaker 9: Man?
- 41:52Speaker 4: You get it for?
- 41:53Speaker 6: Look up and see who's at the door.
- 42:00Speaker 1: We're out of it.
- 42:01Speaker 8: Right right up the right to it, baby, right, baby, three?
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's never.
- 42:14Speaker 8: Boy. That was a clufter fluff, wasn't. Three.
- 42:22Speaker 1: It's going up next morning.
- 42:23Speaker 10: Listen, it's more Shenanigan's Nephew in the building with today's
- 42:26Speaker 10: prank phone call. Right after this you're listening Hard Morning
- 42:31Speaker 10: show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 42:34Speaker 10: about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 42:37Speaker 10: The subject is three years later, we're still friends. We'll
- 42:41Speaker 10: get into that in just a little bit, but right
- 42:44Speaker 10: now it is time for the nephew and today's prank
- 42:47Speaker 10: phone call. What you got for it, nephew, Well, we're
- 42:51Speaker 10: gonna go down to the church, y'all.
- 42:53Speaker 8: We're gonna go down to the church.
- 42:55Speaker 1: That's with these church people.
- 42:58Speaker 11: And then the best one, sir, They the best cussles,
- 43:01Speaker 11: church folks, is the best cussles.
- 43:03Speaker 8: They cover it up.
- 43:05Speaker 11: But they didn't they been you know, they didn't. They
- 43:08Speaker 11: didn't made it over. And they they they got a
- 43:11Speaker 11: new life. But but they ain't forgot. But they ain't
- 43:14Speaker 11: forgot their old life. And sometimes you can make them,
- 43:18Speaker 11: you can make them slide back to it.
- 43:19Speaker 8: This right here.
- 43:20Speaker 11: Now you've seen the movie, but this is the prank.
- 43:24Speaker 11: I'm gonna say that one more time. I don't think
- 43:26Speaker 11: y'all heard me. You've seen the movie movie, but this
- 43:32Speaker 11: is the prank. This is right here, is called the
- 43:34Speaker 11: Preacher's Wife. Oh well, I'm gonna say what more.
- 43:40Speaker 8: God, you seen the movie, but this is the prank
- 43:45Speaker 8: that dog. If you would.
- 43:48Speaker 11: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach in your sister Angela.
- 43:51Speaker 11: Sister Angela, please, how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton.
- 43:56Speaker 11: I'm calling you from our greatest Baptist church. How you
- 43:59Speaker 11: doing this morning?
- 44:00Speaker 7: Oh? I'm fine, I'm fine. Good year from your brothers.
- 44:03Speaker 11: Yeah, listen, I know that your husband, Reverend Johnathan, is
- 44:08Speaker 11: actually one of the candidates that we may be choosing
- 44:11Speaker 11: to be our pastor since our past pastor has stepped down.
- 44:15Speaker 7: Yes, yes, yes, I'm very proud of my husband. I
- 44:19Speaker 7: think you make a very good candidate. As a matter of.
- 44:21Speaker 11: Fact, here at the church, we've been asking a lot
- 44:25Speaker 11: of the deacons and and and assistant ministers here have
- 44:29Speaker 11: been asking different questions different things that they would be
- 44:33Speaker 11: doing once they became pastor. You know, like your first
- 44:36Speaker 11: one hundred days, what would you try and change here
- 44:38Speaker 11: at the church or try and make.
- 44:40Speaker 8: Better so to speak.
- 44:41Speaker 7: Yeah, but what my husband, he's on here right now?
- 44:43Speaker 7: Do you need to speak to us?
- 44:45Speaker 8: No, not right now.
- 44:46Speaker 11: What we've decided to do since Angela is actually call
- 44:51Speaker 11: the wives and ask them a few questions.
- 44:54Speaker 7: Oh, okay, that's a little different.
- 44:56Speaker 11: And we don't we don't want to take up too
- 44:58Speaker 11: much of your time. You know, a lot of times,
- 45:01Speaker 11: if a pastor is stressed at home, nine times out
- 45:06Speaker 11: of ten, he's likely to be stressed at the church.
- 45:09Speaker 11: So I guess, my, my, my biggest question to you
- 45:13Speaker 11: is is your husband stressed at home?
- 45:19Speaker 3: No, not that I know of.
- 45:21Speaker 7: He eats regularly, he's on a good diet. You know,
- 45:24Speaker 7: he gets just goes to the doctor regularly, gets his physical.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 45:29Speaker 9: At home.
- 45:30Speaker 7: I don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed
- 45:32Speaker 7: that he certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention.
- 45:35Speaker 11: Okay, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I
- 45:37Speaker 11: don't know. I don't think you follow me, Sis, Andrew.
- 45:41Speaker 11: What I'm saying is he's stressed behind closed doors? Is
- 45:46Speaker 11: he stressed in that fashion?
- 45:49Speaker 7: I'm not too sure I follow you. You said behind
- 45:51Speaker 7: closed doors? What exactly did you mean.
- 45:53Speaker 8: By that is he is he stressed in y'all's relation?
- 46:00Speaker 8: Is he stressed?
- 46:02Speaker 7: Are you asking me about my personal business?
- 46:04Speaker 9: Brother?
- 46:05Speaker 11: Well, what I'm saying is if he's stressed at home,
- 46:07Speaker 11: he'll be stressed at the church. And if he's stressed
- 46:10Speaker 11: at the church, then the members are stressed. Then the
- 46:13Speaker 11: congregation is stressed. So the stress starts with you.
- 46:18Speaker 7: Excuse me.
- 46:19Speaker 11: If you are making sure that he's all right at home,
- 46:22Speaker 11: he's gonna be all right at the church.
- 46:25Speaker 7: I'm sorry, brother, What was your name?
- 46:27Speaker 8: Brother Clayton?
- 46:27Speaker 7: Brother Clayton. I appreciate you conducting whatever interviews you guys
- 46:33Speaker 7: need to conduct with the candidates. Wise, I do think
- 46:36Speaker 7: that's pretty much personal territory and I really don't want
- 46:39Speaker 7: to answer those kind of questions.
- 46:40Speaker 11: It's not personal since Angela, when is so many other
- 46:44Speaker 11: people involved? See, that's why I'm asking you the question,
- 46:47Speaker 11: is your man's stressed behind?
- 46:49Speaker 7: Brother Clayton? I could assure you, yes that my husband
- 46:53Speaker 7: is not stressed at home. If I get your drifted,
- 46:56Speaker 7: he is not stressed behind closed doors. Brother, and I
- 47:00Speaker 7: would appreciate you if you don't call with these kind
- 47:02Speaker 7: of questions. Are you asking other candidates.
- 47:04Speaker 11: Why these kind of questions, Well, I was the one
- 47:08Speaker 11: dedicated to call to give you a call, and that's
- 47:11Speaker 11: the question that I decided to come up with because
- 47:13Speaker 11: I want to know if a man is going to
- 47:15Speaker 11: be stressed, because if he's gonna have tension at the church,
- 47:18Speaker 11: then the congregation is going to have tension. The church
- 47:21Speaker 11: is going to have tension, and the church cannot move
- 47:23Speaker 11: forward in the direction on which.
- 47:25Speaker 7: My husband and I have been married twenty to five years,
- 47:28Speaker 7: and they've been twenty five good years. If you get
- 47:31Speaker 7: my drift, Okay, he is not stressed at home, and
- 47:35Speaker 7: whatever goes on at home, my husband has sense enough
- 47:37Speaker 7: not to take it to the church. That is not
- 47:39Speaker 7: something he's going to do. So you don't see that
- 47:41Speaker 7: about anybody else being stressed at the congregation in.
- 47:45Speaker 13: The pulpit nowhere.
- 47:46Speaker 7: Okay, we asked it together at home, and I appreciate
- 47:49Speaker 7: it if you don't ask me those kind of questions,
- 47:51Speaker 7: but sometimes just ask me.
- 47:52Speaker 11: But sometimes a woman does not realize that a husband
- 47:57Speaker 11: is stressed. You understand that there's a possible way that
- 47:59Speaker 11: you don't know that he's stressed.
- 48:02Speaker 7: So how can you get let me get your phone
- 48:04Speaker 7: matter of fact, let me get your full name. What's
- 48:06Speaker 7: your first name.
- 48:07Speaker 8: Let's just go with brother Clayton right now. Could you
- 48:09Speaker 8: please answer this question? How can you guarantee that he
- 48:12Speaker 8: is fully not stressed?
- 48:15Speaker 7: Brother Clayton, I call him the Lord real quick, hold on,
- 48:19Speaker 7: Brother Clayton.
- 48:21Speaker 3: I'm an honorable woman.
- 48:22Speaker 7: I'm a woman who stands by my man. Okay, but
- 48:26Speaker 7: you are asking me some questions that are very personal,
- 48:30Speaker 7: very private, very confidential. You are asking me questions that
- 48:34Speaker 7: that a a question of the sancty of my marriage. Okay,
- 48:37Speaker 7: my husband is not stressed, and if I don't send
- 48:43Speaker 7: him away from my home stressed.
- 48:46Speaker 13: Okay, how do you know?
- 48:48Speaker 5: I know?
- 48:49Speaker 8: But what are you doing to make sure that it's
- 48:52Speaker 8: less stressed?
- 48:52Speaker 7: To Clayton, I'm about to end this phone call. Okay, now,
- 48:55Speaker 7: if you.
- 48:58Speaker 11: That we know, we are need to know that Reverend
- 49:01Speaker 11: Johnathan is not stressed at home. They put they assigned
- 49:04Speaker 11: me to talk to you, and that's what I'm going
- 49:07Speaker 11: to do, and I'm going to leave.
- 49:08Speaker 13: He is not stressed.
- 49:09Speaker 7: I don't know who told you that the man is
- 49:11Speaker 7: not stressure.
- 49:11Speaker 13: He act to stressed around you.
- 49:14Speaker 11: I bet you, I bet you he's stressed because your
- 49:17Speaker 11: stress ain't me right now, now, we're both stressed out.
- 49:19Speaker 8: How can we understand that that man is not stressed?
- 49:22Speaker 13: That's the end of this conversation. Do you understand me?
- 49:25Speaker 13: Give me your full name right now.
- 49:27Speaker 11: Give me some intimate details, and then I'll give you
- 49:29Speaker 11: my number cross the line.
- 49:31Speaker 13: You wait till my husband gets here.
- 49:33Speaker 7: If this is gonna cost him the candidcy that this's so,
- 49:35Speaker 7: be it, We'll find another church.
- 49:37Speaker 13: I'd have some choice words for you right now. Oh
- 49:40Speaker 13: brother Satan, I will give you my name right now.
- 49:43Speaker 13: Do you have a mean Yes, I'm gonna write it
- 49:45Speaker 13: right now.

- 50:11Speaker 7: Hold On, you said, this is nephew Tommy.
- 50:20Speaker 11: From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your husband got me

- 50:29Speaker 13: I don't mean that. Oh, lor trust me.

- 52:09Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live, just like we
- 52:13Speaker 1: read this one right here. Who knows it could be
- 52:16Speaker 1: your letter?
- 52:17Speaker 2: You just never know.
- 52:19Speaker 14: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Strawberry
- 52:21Speaker 14: Letter with my good friends.
- 52:23Speaker 4: Shirley Strawberry.
- 52:24Speaker 10: Thank you, my good friend Junior. Subject three years later
- 52:29Speaker 10: and we're only friends. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm thirty four
- 52:33Speaker 10: years old and my significant other is thirty nine and
- 52:37Speaker 10: we've been together for three years. I call him my
- 52:40Speaker 10: significant other because he has yet to define our relationship.
- 52:43Speaker 10: We started as friends, just like most couples do, and
- 52:46Speaker 10: we got closer. He told me that he didn't want
- 52:49Speaker 10: anything serious, but he enjoyed spending time with me. We
- 52:53Speaker 10: started having sex a month after we met, and at
- 52:56Speaker 10: that time I was very busy at work and helping
- 52:59Speaker 10: my sister with her new baby, so I was not
- 53:02Speaker 10: ready for anything serious either. Then my guy tore his
- 53:06Speaker 10: acl and he needed something someone to help him out,
- 53:10Speaker 10: so he came to stay with me for a week.
- 53:13Speaker 10: I was crazy about him, so taking care of him
- 53:16Speaker 10: came naturally. Whenever we're together and his phone rang, he'd
- 53:20Speaker 10: tell the caller he was with me, and he'd called
- 53:22Speaker 10: them back. This made me confident about the direction our
- 53:26Speaker 10: relationship was going in, so I never asked him if
- 53:29Speaker 10: we were boyfriend slash girlfriend. After two years, we were
- 53:33Speaker 10: stuck together like glue. If you saw him, you saw me.
- 53:37Speaker 10: That all changed last week when we double dated with
- 53:40Speaker 10: one of my girlfriends and her fiance.
- 53:43Speaker 1: They got engaged recently and they are so in love
- 53:46Speaker 1: you can feel it.
- 53:48Speaker 10: My friend asked my guy if he'd been thinking about marriage,
- 53:52Speaker 10: and my guys spoke up and embarrassed me so bad.
- 53:55Speaker 10: He said, we're not that serious yet. We're best friends
- 54:00Speaker 10: and we love each other, but we are not exclusive.
- 54:04Speaker 10: He told my friend that I'm aware of our status
- 54:07Speaker 10: and I'm not pressuring him for a title. I sat there,
- 54:10Speaker 10: looking stupid and holding back tears. He said he does
- 54:15Speaker 10: plan to get married one day, when the time is right.
- 54:18Speaker 10: What I heard is that I'm not the one. Is
- 54:21Speaker 10: he wasting my time or is he dating others to
- 54:25Speaker 10: get it out? Of his system before he proposes. I'm
- 54:28Speaker 10: so confused. Okay, come on now, I really do not
- 54:34Speaker 10: want you to be confused right now. I don't want that.
- 54:37Speaker 10: I need you to be good and woke. Okay, because
- 54:41Speaker 10: this man just told your good friends and you what
- 54:46Speaker 10: he really thinks of you in no uncertain terms, and
- 54:49Speaker 10: you heard him tell them, so please be clear.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He said you're not exclusive.
- 54:55Speaker 3: You are not.
- 54:56Speaker 10: Exclusive, which means yes, he's seeing other people, okay.
- 55:02Speaker 1: And that marriage will happen one day when the time
- 55:05Speaker 1: is right.
- 55:06Speaker 10: Well, if it's marriage you want with him, you can
- 55:09Speaker 10: no longer sit back and allow.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Him and him only to define this relationship. You have
- 55:15Speaker 1: a say in this too.
- 55:16Speaker 8: You're in it.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Your feelings matter, and if you've changed and you want more,
- 55:21Speaker 1: you have to let him know. It's been three.
- 55:24Speaker 10: Years, and after three years you should feel extremely comfortable
- 55:28Speaker 10: in expressing yourself to him, and with a lot of confidence.
- 55:32Speaker 10: I might add, remember he had no shame, no trepidation
- 55:36Speaker 10: when he spoke his mind to your friends, and you
- 55:38Speaker 10: should do the same. You should do the same, otherwise
- 55:41Speaker 10: you could be spending another three years in this holding pattern.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Of a relationship. Not nowhere it's going and I know
- 55:49Speaker 1: you don't want that. Steve, speak up, girl.
- 55:52Speaker 8: Steve, Well.
- 55:56Speaker 9: This letter, you've explained your situation there, So what you
- 56:02Speaker 9: want our advice for?
- 56:03Speaker 8: I don't understand. Uh, you're thirty four, he's thirty nine.
- 56:09Speaker 8: I call him my significant other. He don't call you nothing.
- 56:20Speaker 8: I call him my significant other.
- 56:25Speaker 9: And then you justified by said because he has yet
- 56:28Speaker 9: to define our relationship.
- 56:30Speaker 8: Oh no, that's cause you ain't defined.
- 56:34Speaker 9: You just you just what what you waiting on him
- 56:36Speaker 9: to do, because all throughout the letter, he show you
- 56:39Speaker 9: what he gonna do, which ain't pretty much, ain't about nothing.
- 56:43Speaker 8: Well, you say we started as friends, just like most couples.
- 56:50Speaker 8: That's not how it usually works.
- 56:51Speaker 9: But okay, as we got closer, he told me he
- 56:58Speaker 9: didn't want anything serious. Okay, you typed this, so obviously
- 57:05Speaker 9: you heard it. He told you he didn't want nothing serious,
- 57:14Speaker 9: but he enjoyed spending time with me. We started having
- 57:18Speaker 9: sex a month after we met. Well, that's when he
- 57:21Speaker 9: really enjoyed us. I'm spending time with you because y'all
- 57:25Speaker 9: was having sex and I was very busy at work
- 57:30Speaker 9: helping my sister with her new baby, so I wasn't
- 57:32Speaker 9: really ready for anything seriously. Well, see you got into
- 57:36Speaker 9: the relationship like a lot of people do, and you
- 57:40Speaker 9: you was wanting something, but you was talking about you
- 57:44Speaker 9: ain't want nothing either. Well it don't sound like that
- 57:46Speaker 9: in the letter, because I don't think what you at
- 57:48Speaker 9: the table crying for later on if you ain't want nothing.
- 57:52Speaker 8: See, then my guy tore.
- 57:54Speaker 9: His ACL and he needed someone to help him out,
- 57:57Speaker 9: so he came and stayed with me for a week.
- 57:59Speaker 9: I was he's about taking care of him naturally. So
- 58:05Speaker 9: now when he needs you for convenience, here he come.
- 58:11Speaker 9: Now he need a woman. Now, see he need nothing sious,
- 58:14Speaker 9: but that see that tore in ACL. That's a serious injury.
- 58:18Speaker 9: So now let me closey on up to this girl
- 58:21Speaker 9: that I'm using, and I'm gonna go stay at her
- 58:23Speaker 9: house for a week because it's serious. Now, but minego.
- 58:27Speaker 9: He told you he don't want nothing serious, but that
- 58:29Speaker 9: injury didn't tighten him up till now he ain't come.
- 58:32Speaker 8: All right, I'll tell you the rest of him when
- 58:34Speaker 8: we come back.
- 58:35Speaker 1: All right, you heard him.
- 58:36Speaker 10: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 58:39Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Today's subject. Three years later, we're still friends. We'll get
- 58:44Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy
- 58:49Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 58:50Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 58:54Speaker 10: the subject three years later, we're still friends.
- 58:58Speaker 9: Well, lady, that's it. You're dating the man. You were
- 59:01Speaker 9: just friends, you say, like most couples. Then are y'all
- 59:05Speaker 9: got closer?
- 59:06Speaker 8: And he told you.
- 59:08Speaker 9: I don't want nothing serious. He told you that top
- 59:12Speaker 9: of the letter. But he said he enjoyed spending time
- 59:15Speaker 9: with me. Well you know why because right after that,
- 59:17Speaker 9: y'all said, y'all start having the sixth a month after
- 59:20Speaker 9: we met.
- 59:21Speaker 8: Well, no good in here will are you enjoying this time?
- 59:23Speaker 9: But you now now you was okay with that, you say,
- 59:28Speaker 9: because you was busy at working. You was helping your
- 59:29Speaker 9: sister with a new baby. So I was not ready
- 59:33Speaker 9: for anything serious either. Ah, boy, that ain't what this
- 59:39Speaker 9: letter say because you wrote and the whole time in
- 59:42Speaker 9: the letter you sound like you was thinking someone was
- 59:45Speaker 9: gonna get serious. Right, Well, then you got towards acl
- 59:52Speaker 9: He needed somebody to help him out, so he came
- 59:54Speaker 9: and stay with.
- 59:54Speaker 8: Me for a week.
- 59:55Speaker 15: Because you know why, because the HCl is a serious injury.
- 59:59Speaker 15: So your house for a week, you loved it because
- 1:00:04Speaker 15: you're crazy about him.
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: Think care of him just came naturally, as it does
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: with a lot of women, because a lot of women
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: are very nurturing by nature. Women are the best nurturers
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: in the world. So you had a chance to take
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: care of somebody, show him how much you love him,
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: how serious you are, Why he had that serious injury.
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: Girl, you're making that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: Happen and now here going the part that I really
- 1:00:34Speaker 9: want you to talk about. So taking care of him
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: came naturally. Whenever we were together and his phone rang,
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: he tell the caller he was with me, and he
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: called them back. This made me confident about the direction
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: of our relationship was going on.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: When so you're ignoring the fact that the phone ranging,
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: you just go damn that.
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: You Your takeaway with that was he tell everybody, I'm
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: I'm with her, I'll call you back.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: That gave you confidence.
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: Girl, You forgot he told you this wasn't nothing serious,
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: and based on the conversation, he tell that to everybody.
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: So now when the girls do call him on the phone,
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: he didn't already told him they gotta toe on a
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: cla he's staying with his friend.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: I'm with her right now. I'll call you back.
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: And they cool with that because he done told them
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: they ain't got nothing serious.
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: But mostly he done told them you ain't serious.
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: And if you don't think he told him that, that's
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: why he's so coolly answering this phone, because why he
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: got it. He put his phone on vibrator. If he
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: was trying to hide something he ain't got you though,
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: he can leave it open because you ain't serious. He
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: told you that, but he told anybody else that. So
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: now that made you confident about the direction your relationship
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: is going in. So I never asked him if we
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: were boyfriend and girlfriend. Mistake.
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: After two years, we were stuck together like glue. Okay,
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: if you saw him, you saw me.
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: That all changed last week when we double dated with
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: one of my girlfriends and her fiance. They got engaged
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: recently and they are so in love and you can
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: feel it. My friend asked my guy if he been
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: thinking about marriage, and my guy spoke up and embarrassed
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: me so bad. He said, he's not that. We're not
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: that serious yet. See, because his acl fixed. He told
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: you two years ago he wasn't looking for nothing serious.
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: He said, we're best friends and we love each other,
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: but we're not exclusive.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: I don't know why that affected you. He been asking
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: the phone the whole time.
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: What he told my friend that I'm aware of our
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: status and I'm not pressuring him for a title.
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: He told the truth. He told you he didn't want
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: nothing serious.
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: He ain't never gave you a title, and you know
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: you're aware of it because he told you that, And
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: you ain't pressuring him for a title, because you said
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: back in the letter you ain't never asked him if
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: you were boyfriend and girlfriend. You said that, so you
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: can't get mad at this guy in this letter at all.
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: I sat there looking stupid and holding back tears. He
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: said he does planning to get married one day when
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: the time is right. What I heard is I'm not
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: the one. Is he wasting my time? Or is he
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: dating others to get out of his system before he promoted?
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: Where do you get this stuff from that? You keep
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: reading into this? You said, is he dating others to
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: get it out of his system before he promot?
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: He thirty nine?
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: What he thirty nine? Lady?
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: What do you mean he's trying to get this out
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: of his system before he proposes. He never told you
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: he wanted to marry you. He's never mentioned marriage to you.
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: You ain't even his girlfriend, and he told it to
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: you in front of your friends. Why you're still there
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: hoping and waiting is beyond me. What are you waiting for?
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Lady?
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: You know the answer to all of this. Stop reading
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: more into something that ain't there. All you need to
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: do is go in and say, look, I want a title,
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: I want to know what his relationship is, or we're
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: gonna have to end it bye, and he's gonna just
- 1:04:51Speaker 9: go on over there with the mother Girls's.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Called Thank you.

- 1:06:01Speaker 6: right now.
- 1:06:02Speaker 14: There is no reason why me and Helen should have

- 1:06:45Speaker 14: and she needs to really not be there no more.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: And if I come back down there, I'm coming over
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: the count and knocking all your stamps down.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: That's all I come on, miss that.
- 1:06:53Speaker 14: Well you know what she hollering, though she's saying, it's
- 1:06:56Speaker 14: so loud talking that other people in line.

- 1:07:00Speaker 1: And so you were embarrassed.
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: I was absolutely bared about because I got the wrong envelope.
- 1:07:05Speaker 14: If I said I wanted that tomor you keep telling me, well,

- 1:08:05Speaker 1: It's too much.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: You bought the car I had on the cars. If
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: y'all was in your price running, you could have got
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: a great, big old hus car. You down there in
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: a smart car and you're just in there looking like
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: some playdough.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Morning show?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: All right, you guys, pay attention to this because this
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: story is crazy.
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: Uh. It can be painful to find out your son
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: isn't your son, all right? That can be painful because
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: your partner was unfaithful. However, a man posted on TikTok
- 1:08:45Speaker 10: to explain what happened to him. The post is a
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: video of him distraught and crying in it, and he
- 1:08:53Speaker 10: reveals that he found out that his son is actually
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: his uncle.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Did you get that his son is actually his uncle?
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: So?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: How did this happen? How did this happen? What happened?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: What happened?
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: Well, the man's grandfather invited him and his girlfriend to
- 1:09:12Speaker 10: stay with him, and during that time, the man's girlfriend
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: wound up having an affair with his grandfather.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: You get it so far?
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: Crazy?
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: That led to the baby boy, which the man thought
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: was his And it turns out his grandfather has done
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: stuff like this before, because the man captioned his TikTok post,
- 1:09:38Speaker 10: can't believe I expected more from a man that had
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: a whole other family around the corner from my granny's house.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: So this grandfather has just that's his uncle. Yeah, he
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: thought it was his son, but this is really your uncle?
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: What because you got a friend?
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: Then, hey, hey, who you talk to? Shut up? Junior,
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: I'm your.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Aw I'm your your grandma when your girl?
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: So how old is debate?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Let's read on Tommy.
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: The man says he still wants to be part of
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: his son slash uncle's life, but also questions why his
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: grandfather would hurt him this way. In a different video,
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: he describes how he found out, saying his girlfriend's phone
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: kept ringing, just ping, ping, ping, so he checked to
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: see what was going on and saw the text were
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: from his grandfather. Then he found year's worth year's worth
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: of messages from his granddad, including pictures and explicit stuff.
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm not raising my uncle.
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: I'm not.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I'm not fret all sounds crazy, right.
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: I'm not my own dad. But I don't know who
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: this dude is. I still want to be in my
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: son's life. I don't. I don't understand. Man, does it
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: ever say how all the child?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: It never said the child was. It's not like it's
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: an official story. It's on TikTok.
- 1:11:09Speaker 12: So he hosted himself crying and you know all the details, you.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: Know, worked with Bill. If he said years and years
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: of messages, then it's some time it went back.
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: Yeah, you know, and he could have gotten attached to
- 1:11:24Speaker 9: the little boy. Yeah you don't love him and all
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: like this, regardless.
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: As to who he is.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: How he found out it was the granddaddy.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Well he know, yeah, well I guess, but he didn't
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: say that.
- 1:11:41Speaker 10: But when he saw those texts, he knew something was
- 1:11:44Speaker 10: up from the grandfather year's worth of messages.
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: Have you told your daddy because that's your daddy, daddy?
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Huh right, right right, you don't know that could be your.
- 1:11:54Speaker 11: Mom's dadda anyway, hoping my granddaddy anyway, my granddaddy.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: Is whoever is the whoop of my granddaddy?
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Who?
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:12:07Speaker 10: The girlfriend, Yeah she slept with his grandfather.
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: But still, I mean, I'm just saying, I don't know.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: It was a convenience. What he says, you want so.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: Many will well you get so many wheel Now.
- 1:12:32Speaker 12: That's heartbreaking, is And some of the comments people were
- 1:12:36Speaker 12: saying that, you know, to the young man, you didn't
- 1:12:38Speaker 12: deserve that, you know, you know, if you still want
- 1:12:42Speaker 12: to be in the little boy's life, be a mentor.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: To you know.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: Yeah, you know that's hard.
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: That's who suffers the little boy because the man he
- 1:12:51Speaker 10: thought was his father all this time is his uncle.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Is his nephew, right, yeah, it's his nephew. You just
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: shake your hand when you need it. The crazy Yeah, all.
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: Right, all right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: Well, apparently single parents are having a hard time dating
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: and popular dating apps have failed them. So a brand
- 1:13:23Speaker 10: new app for single parents launched on March second, which
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: was National Single Parents' Day.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: The new dating app, it's.
- 1:13:30Speaker 10: Called Stir, will cater to the specific needs of single
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: parents who aren't finding luck on mainstream dating apps. Studies
- 1:13:39Speaker 10: have shown that single parents naturally gravitate toward each towards
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: other single parents. I think that's natural because they didn't
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: have to explain their constraints, and as they are in
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: the same stage of life, so I.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Think it should be interesting. What do you guys think?
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: But what if they both have, like, you know, seven kids,
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: like Steve or something, and they're trying to make a connection.
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: What do you guys think I need to if I'm single,
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: I need to know how many damn kids you gotten?
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: Up?
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: You got five? Six kids?
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: Then I don't that's not I need to Can we
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: fill that out when we when we type in our information.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: We need to know that datable? Is that what you're saying?
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: If she has five? Well me, yeah, okay for me?
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I think because I'm six children?
- 1:14:23Speaker 10: What well, what if you have five or six kids?
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: You want somebody to date you?
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: But I'm not looking for somebody that got What we
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: don't need is another five not as team.
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: So would you get someone with children?
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: I could say somebody with children, but it can't be six.
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: What's your limit?
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: Dog?
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: Dog?
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: About about one two. Okay, yeah, yeah, it possible, were
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: not last May.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: But what's gonna date you guys?
- 1:14:52Speaker 10: All right, we'll let more of the Steve Harby Morning
- 1:14:54Speaker 10: Show coming up in thirty three minutes after we'll play
- 1:14:56Speaker 10: around it.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Would you rather? Right after this You're morning Show? All right, guys,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: it is time for another round.
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: Of would you rather? Would would you rather soak in
- 1:15:11Speaker 10: a hot tub full of tide? Or would you rather
- 1:15:15Speaker 10: gargle with pickle juice?
- 1:15:17Speaker 9: I'm gonna goggle with that pickle juice. I made that
- 1:15:20Speaker 9: mistake beforemling. What do you mean you remember? Because when
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: we was little, we didn't have money for bubble bath
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: all the time, so we used to put detergent in
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: the bath tub, whisk it around. Yeah, and I didn't,
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: you know, twisk it around, swish it up good enough.
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: And that oxen doll had blue bleaching crystals in it. Well,
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: I was a little boy. I didn't know, and I
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: didn't rint off good. Walking down the hall the next day.
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: And my ass start burning. I didn't know that's what
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: the hell was going on.
- 1:16:09Speaker 9: And as I was walking and rubbing it together, I
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: was melting them blue bleaching crystals further they started bleaching
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: my ass. Now, you teel, you don't really know what's
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: going on. But I got a full situation going on
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: right now. My ass on fire because I got some
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: melting detrigent crystal.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: So that's why you've rather.
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: A pickle juice.
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: I can rewrist, but you get to walking, you walk
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: around that detergent melting in your ass.
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: I'm telling you right.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Now, all right, would you rather be without your teeth
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: for one week? Be or would you rather be without
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: your you know what for one week?
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: Teeth? Take them teeth out?
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: My bad, my bad? No, I'm I think I came
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: to part from Well, if you can put it back, no,
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: damn it, no memory.
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: Well, first of all, I'm not gonna be able to
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: do that, because, first of all, I'm not gonna ever
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: recover from you.
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: Taking it off. That why my ass is not gonna
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: make it.
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: Yeah, because watching you put it in a zip lock
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: and walk away too much.
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: Oh No, I'll never recover from that. It's no way.
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: And the possibility that you could mix mine up with
- 1:17:54Speaker 11: somebody else, that's an issue for me here.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: Nah, I got the wrong zip lock.
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: Come on, man, but how do you think you're leaving
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: this room with it is your bigger problem.
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: This is not Rottlow, this is not him.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Be quiet. Thus today's d would you rather come up?
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: We'll close out the show.
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: With some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey,
- 1:18:22Speaker 10: our fearless leader.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Right after this, you're.
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: Listening Harvey Morning Show. We love to hear your inspirational
- 1:18:30Speaker 10: closing remarks. Steve, your motivational closing remarks. And I got
- 1:18:33Speaker 10: one for us today, I.
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: Got one for you today. I think it's important.
- 1:18:43Speaker 9: That everybody, everybody really really up your expectations. I mean,
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: really really focus focus on upping your expectations this year,
- 1:19:01Speaker 9: really put a positive twist on your life. You can
- 1:19:05Speaker 9: do that, man, you can up your expectations. You have
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: a say so in your outcome. But you have to
- 1:19:12Speaker 9: adjust the attitude. You've got to think positive. You've got
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: to focus on the positive things that's happening in your life.
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: You have to take inventory constantly of everything that's going
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: right in your life. Stop focusing on the negative. Everybody
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: got something wrong. That's not a person living that ain't
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: got something wrong. So what Yeah you got something wrong.
- 1:19:36Speaker 9: Yeah you're not where you want to be. But guess
- 1:19:39Speaker 9: what you can be on your way. And that's the
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: thing that people lose focus of. Sometimes they get so
- 1:19:46Speaker 9: caught up into where they are now that they lose
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: focus on where they could be going, where you're headed,
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: where you're at now.
- 1:19:55Speaker 8: Let me explain something to you about right now.
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: Right now is a very fleeting moment, because let's say
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: you're talking about something now. Do you know in just
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: what sixty seconds is now a part of the past.
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: It doesn't matter where you are, it's where you're going.
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: Don't get stuck in where you are. Somebody sent me
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: a plaque one time, and I keep it on my
- 1:20:21Speaker 9: desk in Atlanta, and I was going through a real, real,
- 1:20:25Speaker 9: real dog period in my life. And he's a friend
- 1:20:28Speaker 9: of mine, and he knew it. He's an accountant, as
- 1:20:32Speaker 9: a matter of fact. It's Roger Saltered and I'm saying
- 1:20:34Speaker 9: my financial up in Chicago, and he knew I was
- 1:20:37Speaker 9: going through a dog dog period in my life. And
- 1:20:40Speaker 9: he sent me a plaque and I keep it on
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: my desk, and the plaque said, when you're going through hell,
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: just keep going. And that registered with me, because why
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: would you be going through hell and stop there? So
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: you're just gonna put it on park in the middle
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: of hell, or doesn't make sense to keep going because
- 1:21:04Speaker 9: it just ties into what I'm telling you. It doesn't
- 1:21:07Speaker 9: matter where you are, it's where you're going. You've got
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: to get your focus to move in the right direction.
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: I'm gonna give you this scripture again in case all
- 1:21:16Speaker 9: of you is something I read all the time. It's
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: Ephesians three twenty, and I read it every day. You know,
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: I memorize it.
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: But it says.
- 1:21:26Speaker 9: God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all that I
- 1:21:32Speaker 9: ask or think. Because I honor Him, his blessings will
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: chase me down and overtake me. I will be in
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: the right place at the right time. People will go
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: out of their way to be good to me. I
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: am surrounded by God's favor. This is my declaration. If
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: you read this every day and you implement this once again,
- 1:21:56Speaker 9: It's Ephesians three twenty. Now I got the Bible with
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: the four different translations in it, so I can understand
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: what I'm saying. So this is not the King James
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: version I gave you. It's a translation of what it
- 1:22:10Speaker 9: actually means. But memorizing the scripture for how what it
- 1:22:13Speaker 9: means is what you need. You don't gotta go word
- 1:22:15Speaker 9: for word. You need to get the meaning of it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 9: Don't trip on that other part right there. But if
- 1:22:21Speaker 9: you incorporate this in your life on a day to day,
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: you'd be amazed. What can happen to you? You all
- 1:22:29Speaker 9: can put your life into the realm of expectations.
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: I expect good things to happen to me.
- 1:22:36Speaker 9: Even when something bad happens to me, I still look
- 1:22:40Speaker 9: for something good to happen to me, and it always does.
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: I don't care what mistake I've made.
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: God has always gotten me through it, and He's done
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: the exact same thing for you.
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: He's always gotten you through it. Just look at your life.
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: All that stuff you thought you wasn't gonna make it through,
- 1:22:59Speaker 9: He got you, man, He pulled you through it somehow,
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: all them days you didn't think you was gonna make it.
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: You remember where you was, and then look at where
- 1:23:06Speaker 9: you're at now.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:23:07Speaker 9: If you think that you're in a worse place now
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: than you were in your past, why don't you get
- 1:23:13Speaker 9: back to that Expect something good to happen to you.
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: Live a life filled with positive expectations.
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: Don't do not bury yourself by going through hell and
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: then staying there.
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: Some people cannot get out of their misery because they
- 1:23:34Speaker 9: won't kill quit acknowledging the misery. Look, if the Bible
- 1:23:39Speaker 9: says a man is as he's thinking, and all you
- 1:23:42Speaker 9: ever think is old woe is me, then guess what
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: old woe is me?
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: But if you look for the upside, the bright side,
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: if you.
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: Look for and then live a life and expectation that
- 1:23:57Speaker 9: there's some good out there for you, then good comes
- 1:24:00Speaker 9: your way.
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: That's the way it is.
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: That's not a theory of mine. That's a promise of God.
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: I ain't up in here spew and nothing. I think
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: I'd have seen this stuff work for me. You know
- 1:24:14Speaker 9: how many public mistakes I've made. Y'all been watching me.
- 1:24:20Speaker 9: Y'all has been fans of minds for years. You all
- 1:24:23Speaker 9: have seen the evolution of me. Now, he ain't through
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: with me yet, but you've seen me back when I
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: was this, when I was that, when I made that mistake,
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: when I made this mistake. But you know what, I
- 1:24:36Speaker 9: never allowed the mistakes to bury me or define me.
- 1:24:40Speaker 9: I expected something good to happen. And guess what I've
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: recovered from them all. He's pulled me through them all.
- 1:24:47Speaker 9: He'll do the same thing for you Ephesian three twenty.
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: Start reading it every day, man, and live your life
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: in a positive expectation.
- 1:24:55Speaker 8: That'll help you.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: So you better say that I just did.
