Pinnacles Fire Ignites Near Cody | Cheyenne News
A new wildfire, the Pinnacles Fire, has erupted in Shoshone National Forest near Cody, burning in the Fish Hawk Drainage south of Howell Mountain. Though currently small at one to two acres, it’s already drawing rapid response — including a helicopter on scene and more air support and firefighters en route. The Forest Service has closed the Fish Hawk Trailhead for public safety as crews stage and battle the blaze. Updates will follow as this fast-developing situation unfolds.
