- 0:02Speaker 1: There are a lot of Americans that are asking this
- 0:04Speaker 1: question about what's happening in Minnesota, and that is Hold
- 0:07Speaker 1: on a second. As we're talking about ICE and all
- 0:10Speaker 1: the attacks on ICE agents and the shootings, what happened
- 0:13Speaker 1: to the billions of dollars in fraud that was uncovered, Well,
- 0:18Speaker 1: we're looking into that. That's exactly what we know is
- 0:22Speaker 1: coming out of the FBI. But what the FBI Director
- 0:24Speaker 1: Cash Hotel also says is there's going to be a
- 0:27Speaker 1: full investigation into the active actions of the left wing
- 0:32Speaker 1: terrorist organizations that are doing much of this in Minnesota.
- 0:38Speaker 1: He said this earlier today on my good friend Benny
- 0:41Speaker 1: Johnson's show, Take a Listen.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Okay, so this is breaking news. So are you and
- 0:47Speaker 2: the FBI and perhaps other intelligence agencies are fully aware
- 0:51Speaker 2: of this coordinated effort to attack federal law enforcement, to
- 0:54Speaker 2: impede them and potentially insurrect and so there is now
- 0:57Speaker 2: an open investigation into the into these chats and into
- 1:01Speaker 2: this coordinated network. Yeah, some of them are, some of
- 1:04Speaker 2: them are fleeing. Some of them are very scared. Now
- 1:06Speaker 2: you can see their chats. They're they're very, very worried
- 1:09Speaker 2: now that they have been exposed, Well, they should be.
- 1:13Speaker 3: If they broke the law, you should be worried. It's
- 1:15Speaker 3: that simple. If you didn't break the law, there's really
- 1:17Speaker 3: nothing to worry about on that front. And so you know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: we're going to continue as I've said from day one.
- 1:24Speaker 3: We will protect law enforcement. We will make sure they
- 1:27Speaker 3: have the security and safety to do their jobs. We
- 1:29Speaker 3: will also ensure that civilians have the ultimate protection of
- 1:33Speaker 3: the First and Second Amendment. But it is my job
- 1:35Speaker 3: to adjudicate the difference when there is a breaking a
- 1:38Speaker 3: federal statute or state law in the furtherance of a
- 1:41Speaker 3: crime or violence against law enforcement officers, and that's when
- 1:44Speaker 3: we step in.
- 1:46Speaker 4: And that is when we step in. Now. He wasn't
- 1:49Speaker 4: done there.
- 1:50Speaker 1: He also talked about they've identified the funders behind the
- 1:54Speaker 1: left wing groups attacking ice in Minnesota and what does
- 1:57Speaker 1: that look like.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Ash you've been doing And I saw some announcements just
- 2:00Speaker 2: this morning, some major arrests of some of the left
- 2:06Speaker 2: wing terrorists who've been attacking law enforcement, attacking federal agents,
- 2:10Speaker 2: stealing rifles. I believe it was an FBI rifle or
- 2:13Speaker 2: a DOJ rifle in this January fourteenth attacking. Gives update
- 2:16Speaker 2: on that.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Absolutely. Look, we've always said that, you know, we are
- 2:20Speaker 3: going to defend absolutely your right to peacefully protest under
- 2:24Speaker 3: the First Amendment, and we're also always going to uphold
- 2:27Speaker 3: your right to bare arms in the Second Amendment. That's
- 2:29Speaker 3: never changed. We're going to equally protect all of those
- 2:31Speaker 3: The only thing we're not going to do is allow
- 2:34Speaker 3: any of those amendments to be violated when you pursue
- 2:37Speaker 3: a course of action of violence against law enforcement. It's
- 2:40Speaker 3: that simple. That position has never changed. So on January fourteenth,
- 2:43Speaker 3: you referenced a mob literally rioted and destroyed federal police vehicles.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Of course we jumped into action. We caught and arrested
- 2:51Speaker 3: four individuals responsible for breaking those vehicles apart and dismandling
- 2:55Speaker 3: them completely. But I have an update for you. In
- 2:58Speaker 3: that vehicle was firearms Stitmich, thankfully we recovered, but was
- 3:02Speaker 3: information about law enforcement, federal agents and their personal information.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Individuals use that personal information on the ground to issue
- 3:11Speaker 3: threats of life against not only FBI agents, but their
- 3:15Speaker 3: wives and their children. So just last night, the FBI
- 3:18Speaker 3: arrested one of the individuals responsible for making those threats
- 3:21Speaker 3: to federal law enforcement and We're gonna have more rest
- 3:24Speaker 3: on that same matter today and tomorrow. We're not done.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And that's the distinction. You want to go out there
- 3:30Speaker 3: and peacefully protests, have at it. You want to go
- 3:33Speaker 3: out there and use your secondment and right to bear arms. Okay,
- 3:38Speaker 3: no problem, But look at the situation in Minnesota. This
- 3:41Speaker 3: is not something that just happened overnight. They've been riding recklessly,
- 3:45Speaker 3: destroying federal vehicles, ramming federal agents, literally hitting them, striking them,
- 3:50Speaker 3: and as you just highlighted, using coordinated attacks to threaten
- 3:53Speaker 3: their families. None of that is lawful and none of
- 3:56Speaker 3: that will be tolerated. You do not get to touch
- 3:58Speaker 3: law enforcement. And we've got also investigations I'm going into
- 4:02Speaker 3: the funding of this. We've made actual, substantial progress. I
- 4:06Speaker 3: just can't publicize it yet, but we've actually found groups
- 4:11Speaker 3: and individuals responsible for funding it because it's not happening organically.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's not happening organically. Now we also know the FBI
- 4:21Speaker 1: Director Cash Pattel spoke about the investigation underway in the
- 4:25Speaker 1: Minnesota shooting. There's a lot of people that are obsessed
- 4:28Speaker 1: over that most recent shooting, and this is what he
- 4:32Speaker 1: had to say. About the transparency aspect of that investigation.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Joing me now with more on the investigation is the
- 4:38Speaker 6: director of the FBI Cash Partel Director. Thanks sorry much
- 4:43Speaker 6: for being here this morning. And I know that this
- 4:46Speaker 6: is a DHS investigation, but there is outrage across the
- 4:50Speaker 6: country that there is another killing. Someone is dead at
- 4:55Speaker 6: the hands of border patrol. What can you tell us?
- 4:57Speaker 3: Great to be with you, Maria, and look Secretary No
- 5:00Speaker 3: stated perfectly. You do not get to attack law enforcement
- 5:04Speaker 3: officials in this country without any repercussions. You do not
- 5:06Speaker 3: get to do that in Minnesota, LA, or anywhere else.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And the interagency is leading the charge out there. We've
- 5:12Speaker 3: already arrested with the Interagency those that violated the Face
- 5:16Speaker 3: Act and impeded a priestful prayer in church. We've already
- 5:19Speaker 3: just last night arrested four more individuals involved in the
- 5:23Speaker 3: damage of government property that we saw the videos of online.
- 5:26Speaker 3: We've arrested in other individuals who've meant threats to law
- 5:29Speaker 3: enforcement online. So we are not messing around. It doesn't
- 5:32Speaker 3: have to be in person. If you threaten law enforcement
- 5:34Speaker 3: officials or civilians, we are going to come find you.
- 5:37Speaker 3: And as for this latest shooting. Yes, DHS and HSI
- 5:40Speaker 3: are the lead, and the FBI is processing the physical evidence.
- 5:43Speaker 3: So we're in possession of the firearm, which is going
- 5:45Speaker 3: to go to our laboratory. But as Secretary Nome said,
- 5:47Speaker 3: no one who wants to be peaceful shows up as
- 5:50Speaker 3: a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two
- 5:53Speaker 3: full magazines. That is not a peaceful protest. And you
- 5:57Speaker 3: do not get to touch law enforcement. You do that anywhere.
- 6:00Speaker 3: FBI is going to be following, leading the charge to
- 6:02Speaker 3: arrest those But.
- 6:04Speaker 6: How was he threatening border patrol? You've collected the evidence,
- 6:07Speaker 6: you said, right, you have the handgun in your possession,
- 6:10Speaker 6: that's right, And how was he using that handgun in
- 6:13Speaker 6: terms of threatening border patrol? What was the threat? He
- 6:15Speaker 6: had his camera right, he was filming it.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's something that I let the DHS and the prosecutors
- 6:20Speaker 3: because they are the ones investigating that case. I don't
- 6:22Speaker 3: want to stylize that evidence, but I trust the men
- 6:24Speaker 3: and women on the ground, who are trained professionals, to
- 6:26Speaker 3: only use it when it's absolutely necessary. And I trust
- 6:29Speaker 3: Secretary of Nomes leadership and DHS and HSI to do
- 6:32Speaker 3: the right thing as they've always done in these scenarios.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Christyomes said that the individual approached US Border patrol officers
- 6:39Speaker 6: with a nine millimeters semi automatic handgun. Was the gun
- 6:43Speaker 6: visible or did Border patrol see the gun after they
- 6:47Speaker 6: shot him?
- 6:48Speaker 7: Again?
- 6:49Speaker 3: All the moose pieces of the investigators are being led
- 6:51Speaker 3: by DHS and HSI, and I don't want to comment
- 6:53Speaker 3: on their ongoing investigation.
- 6:55Speaker 6: I understand, But you have the evidence. What can you
- 6:58Speaker 6: tell us about the evidence you collected.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It's sent to our FBI laboratory where it'll be fingerpristed.
- 7:03Speaker 3: We'll use ballistics examination toolkits to see if any casings
- 7:07Speaker 3: were fired, and we'll examine all the casings that were
- 7:10Speaker 3: found on the scene.
- 7:11Speaker 4: How much.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Of this has to do with some of the rhetoric
- 7:16Speaker 6: in your view, Just two weeks ago, the Governor Tim
- 7:20Speaker 6: Waltz told residents to get their phones and start filming
- 7:25Speaker 6: whatever is happening, and when they see border patrol, listen
- 7:28Speaker 6: to this. This is just two weeks ago from Governor
- 7:31Speaker 6: Tim Walt's watch.
- 7:34Speaker 8: If you see these ICE agents in your neighborhood, take
- 7:37Speaker 8: out that phone and hit record. Help us create a
- 7:40Speaker 8: database of the atrocities against Minnesotan's not just to establish
- 7:44Speaker 8: a record for posterity, but to bank evidence for future prosecution.
- 7:49Speaker 9: Your reaction.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I think that type of rhetoric is exactly what's leading
- 7:52Speaker 3: to violence against law enforcement. That is totally baseless and unnecessary.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And for the State CEO to do that against our
- 7:58Speaker 3: law enforcement communities disgusting and revolting, and it should be
- 8:02Speaker 3: examined thoroughly as to anyone who's involved in inciting this
- 8:06Speaker 3: type of violence. It is absolutely improper, unlawful and will
- 8:10Speaker 3: not be tolerated any type of violence against law enforcement.
- 8:13Speaker 6: But it's not stopping. People are mad at ice and
- 8:17Speaker 6: want border patrol to stop. You saw what's happening right
- 8:21Speaker 6: now in Minneapolis. People are protesting in the streets, pushing
- 8:25Speaker 6: border patrol out.
- 8:26Speaker 7: How will this end?
- 8:27Speaker 3: This will end thanks to President Trump's brilliant leadership to
- 8:30Speaker 3: always back the blue. Law enforcement will hold the day.
- 8:33Speaker 3: The constitution and the rule of law will hold the day.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It is a tough time right now, but I believe
- 8:38Speaker 3: that our law enforcement officials on the ground, DHS, FBI,
- 8:42Speaker 3: local police force across the country are moving in the
- 8:45Speaker 3: right direction, and we will call these riots and we
- 8:47Speaker 3: will prevail. That's what we always do.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You can hear Cash Mattel making it clear they're not
- 8:52Speaker 1: going to back down. They're going to do what the
- 8:55Speaker 1: law says. They're going to go after the worst, and
- 8:59Speaker 1: no matter what the Left tries to do, including the
- 9:02Speaker 1: governor as you heard there just two weeks ago in
- 9:05Speaker 1: an official address to the people in his state. I
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to be clear that was an official address, like
- 9:11Speaker 1: what you would see the equivalent from the Oval office.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It is truly incredible to watch a governor tell his
- 9:21Speaker 1: citizens to turn on law enforcement. If you want to
- 9:25Speaker 1: know how we got to where we are now, with
- 9:27Speaker 1: the anarchy and the chaos and the streets and people's
- 9:29Speaker 1: lives that have been lost, it is because of this rhetoric.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Now the President is saying two things. One, we're going
- 9:39Speaker 1: to look into the corruption of the fraud. We're opening
- 9:42Speaker 1: investigations where we believe there needs to be investigations and
- 9:46Speaker 1: there will be accountability for these actions. He also says
- 9:50Speaker 1: we're going to look into people like elam Omar, and
- 9:53Speaker 1: we're not just gonna sit back and act like what
- 9:55Speaker 1: they've done had nothing to do with corruption either. They're
- 9:59Speaker 1: going on a fact finding mission and if Democrats are
- 10:04Speaker 1: upset about that, The question that should be asked now
- 10:08Speaker 1: is what are they hiding. I think we should know
- 10:12Speaker 1: who's paying for all of this. It isn't all out
- 10:16Speaker 1: civil war. That's what the Democrats said they wanted in Minnesota.
- 10:20Speaker 1: But now Tim Waltz has called President Donald Trump. And
- 10:23Speaker 1: here's what we've been told about that conversation, Donald Trump
- 10:27Speaker 1: putting up on true social The Governor Tim Waltz called
- 10:31Speaker 1: me with a request to work together with respect to Minnesota.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It was a very good call, and we actually seem
- 10:37Speaker 1: to be on a similar wavelength. I told Governor Waltz
- 10:40Speaker 1: that I would have Tom Homan call him and that
- 10:43Speaker 1: what we're looking for are any and all criminals that
- 10:47Speaker 1: they have in their possession. This is exactly, by the way,
- 10:52Speaker 1: what hundreds of other cities do when they catch a
- 10:54Speaker 1: criminal it's an legal immigrant, and then they work with
- 10:57Speaker 1: federal authorities ice to make sure that they are taken
- 11:01Speaker 1: into custody. That's not what they do in sanctuary cities
- 11:04Speaker 1: or states like Minnesota.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Back to the President's.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Own words, the governor very respectfully understood that and I
- 11:12Speaker 1: will be speaking to him in the near future. He
- 11:15Speaker 1: was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and
- 11:18Speaker 1: so am I We have such tremendous success in Washington,
- 11:22Speaker 1: d C. Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana and virtually
- 11:27Speaker 1: every other place we have touched, and even in Minnesota
- 11:31Speaker 1: crime is way down, but both Governor Waltz and I
- 11:35Speaker 1: want to make it better. Signed President Donald J.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Trump.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Now that wasn't all that the President had to say
- 11:41Speaker 1: on this issue. He also hours before that put out
- 11:45Speaker 1: this statement on true Social I'm sending Tom Homan to
- 11:49Speaker 1: Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in the area,
- 11:53Speaker 1: but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom
- 11:57Speaker 1: is tough, but fair, and report directly to me. Separately,
- 12:00Speaker 1: a major investigation is going on with respect to the
- 12:03Speaker 1: massive twenty billion dollar plus welfare fraud that has taken
- 12:07Speaker 1: place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for
- 12:12Speaker 1: the violent, organized protests going on the streets. Additionally, the
- 12:16Speaker 1: DOJ and Congress are looking at Congresswoman Ilamo mar who
- 12:21Speaker 1: left Somalia with nothing and is now reportedly worth more
- 12:25Speaker 1: than forty four million dollars. Time will tell all. Thank
- 12:29Speaker 1: you for your attention this matter. President Donald J.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Trump.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Now you put that together with the White House Press
- 12:36Speaker 1: Secretary as she laid it out today from the podium
- 12:40Speaker 1: at the White House, exactly what the plan is and
- 12:44Speaker 1: what the President's had to say about moving forward and
- 12:47Speaker 1: keeping all Americans safe. The President wants law and order,
- 12:51Speaker 1: not anarchy and chaos, which is what Governor Wald and
- 12:54Speaker 1: Mayor Fry have given us. Take a listen.
- 12:58Speaker 10: It is President Trump's hope and wish in demand for
- 13:02Speaker 10: the resistance in chaos to end today.
- 13:05Speaker 9: That's why President Trump spoke with.
- 13:06Speaker 10: Governor Walls directly this morning, and he has outlined a
- 13:10Speaker 10: clear and simple path to restoring law and order in Minnesota.
- 13:15Speaker 10: Number One, Governor Waltz, Mayrefry and all Democrat leaders should
- 13:19Speaker 10: turn over all criminal illegal aliens currently incarcerated in their
- 13:23Speaker 10: prisons in jails to federal authorities, along with any illegal
- 13:27Speaker 10: aliens with active warrants or known criminal histories for immediate deportation.
- 13:33Speaker 10: Number two, State and local law enforcement must agree to
- 13:36Speaker 10: turn over all illegal aliens who are arrested by local police.
- 13:41Speaker 10: And then, thirdly, local police must assist federal law enforcement
- 13:45Speaker 10: in apprehending, in detaining illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes,
- 13:51Speaker 10: especially violent crimes. If Governor Walson Marefry implement these common sense,
- 13:56Speaker 10: cooperative measures that I will add have already been implamed
- 14:00Speaker 10: minted in nearly every single other state across the country.
- 14:04Speaker 10: Customs and border patrol will not be needed to support
- 14:07Speaker 10: ICE on the ground in Minnesota. ICE in local law
- 14:10Speaker 10: enforcement can peacefully work together, as they are effectively doing
- 14:14Speaker 10: in so many other states and jurisdictions. Additionally, President Trump
- 14:18Speaker 10: is calling on the United States Congress to immediately pass
- 14:21Speaker 10: legislation ending sanctuary cities once and for all. American cities
- 14:26Speaker 10: should be safe sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only, not
- 14:31Speaker 10: for dangerous illegal alien criminals who broke our nation's laws
- 14:34Speaker 10: and do not belong here.
- 14:36Speaker 9: We hope Governor Walls will.
- 14:38Speaker 10: Do the right thing and continue to work with President
- 14:41Speaker 10: Trump to keep the American people safe. Following their call
- 14:44Speaker 10: this morning, Americans overwhelmingly want exactly what President Trump is delivering,
- 14:50Speaker 10: strong borders in strict immigration enforcement against the worst illegal aliens,
- 14:55Speaker 10: of which there are still hundreds of thousands to deport
- 14:58Speaker 10: from the interior of our country. The most peaceful way
- 15:01Speaker 10: to carry out this vital public safety mission is for
- 15:04Speaker 10: Republicans and Democrats to do it together, and for state
- 15:08Speaker 10: and local law enforcement to work together with federal law enforcement.
- 15:12Speaker 9: We want to let cops be cops. You wouldn't know.
- 15:16Speaker 10: This continues to be a very popular policy position from
- 15:19Speaker 10: the biased media coverage over the course of the last
- 15:21Speaker 10: few days, but polling shows huge support for this exact thing.
- 15:25Speaker 9: President Trump is calling for.
- 15:27Speaker 10: More than eighty percent of Americans favored deporting illegal.
- 15:31Speaker 9: Aliens convicted of violent crimes.
- 15:33Speaker 10: A country unable to deport criminals who enter it illegally
- 15:37Speaker 10: is no country at all.
- 15:39Speaker 9: The Open Border's agenda.
- 15:40Speaker 10: Of Kamala Harris, Tim Walls and the Democrats was already
- 15:43Speaker 10: on the ballot on November fifth, twenty twenty four, and
- 15:46Speaker 10: it was resoundingly rejected. President Trump will never back down
- 15:50Speaker 10: from his promise to deport violent, criminal illegal aliens and
- 15:54Speaker 10: make America safe again.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Caroline Levit is absolutely right.
- 15:58Speaker 1: The President was elected to do exactly what he's been doing,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and that is getting the worst among us out of
- 16:03Speaker 1: this country that broke into this country illegally. And if
- 16:07Speaker 1: you go back to exactly what the White House put out,
- 16:10Speaker 1: they've made it clear and transparent what they are demanding.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Number One, that Governor Waltson, Mayor Fry and all the
- 16:16Speaker 1: Democratic leaders should turn over all criminal legal aliens currently
- 16:20Speaker 1: incarcerated in their prisons and jails to federal authorities, along
- 16:25Speaker 1: with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known criminal
- 16:29Speaker 1: histories for immediate deportation. They also demand that state local
- 16:33Speaker 1: law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal aliens
- 16:37Speaker 1: arrested by local police. Now, again, this is all exactly
- 16:40Speaker 1: what the law is state you must do.
- 16:43Speaker 4: The president is not asking.
- 16:45Speaker 1: For anything outside of what the state of laws say
- 16:48Speaker 1: in this country. Number three, local police must assist federal
- 16:52Speaker 1: law enforcement and apprehending and detaining illegal aliens wanted for crimes.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Ice and local law enforcement can peace well, we work together,
- 17:01Speaker 1: as they are effectively doing in so many other states
- 17:04Speaker 1: and jurisdictions to remove violent criminals from American neighborhoods. There
- 17:09Speaker 1: are literally hundreds of cities in America where what you're
- 17:12Speaker 1: witnessing in Minnesota is not happening because law enforcement is
- 17:15Speaker 1: working together. That's what it's supposed to be. Many times
- 17:19Speaker 1: when you see tragedies where they say they say local
- 17:21Speaker 1: law enforcement and federal law enforcement are working together. Right, local,
- 17:26Speaker 1: state and federal working together, especially when you're dealing with criminals.
- 17:30Speaker 1: But these individuals like Governor Walton, mayor Fry, refuse to
- 17:35Speaker 1: do this. They put illegal immigrant criminals ahead of American citizens.
- 17:40Speaker 1: The other thing that the President said, Additionally, he's calling
- 17:45Speaker 1: on the United States Congress to immediately pass legislation ending
- 17:49Speaker 1: sanctuary cities once and for all, because he understands that
- 17:53Speaker 1: every time there's a safe haven for these types of criminals,
- 17:57Speaker 1: it cost Americans their lives. It allows them a safe
- 18:00Speaker 1: haven to set up corruption and also to set up
- 18:03Speaker 1: crime syndicates. It also allows for illegal immigrants to steal
- 18:07Speaker 1: from American taxpayers. We've witnessed all of that in Minneapolis
- 18:11Speaker 1: and the surrounding area. American cities, he said, should be
- 18:15Speaker 1: safe sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only, not for dangerous
- 18:21Speaker 1: illegal alien criminals who broke our laws and do not
- 18:24Speaker 1: belong here. He said this, we hope Governor Waltz will
- 18:28Speaker 1: do the right thing and work with President Trump and
- 18:32Speaker 1: his team to keep America and the American people safe.
- 18:36Speaker 1: So it is clear now the President United States of
- 18:38Speaker 1: America is saying, look, I am representing you. Americans overwhelmingly
- 18:43Speaker 1: did exactly that an election day. They wanted strong borders,
- 18:47Speaker 1: they wanted strict immigration enforcement against the worst criminal legal aliens,
- 18:52Speaker 1: of which there are still hundreds of thousands to deport
- 18:54Speaker 1: from the interior of our country. You wouldn't know it,
- 18:58Speaker 1: the President says, from the bias media coverage. The polls
- 19:01Speaker 1: show huge support for this very thing. More than eighty
- 19:04Speaker 1: percent of Americans favor deporting legal aliens convicted of violent crimes.
- 19:10Speaker 1: The most peaceful way to carry out this vital public
- 19:14Speaker 1: safety mission, the White House says, is for Republicans and
- 19:17Speaker 1: Democrats to do it together, and for local and state
- 19:20Speaker 1: law enforcement to work with federal law enforcement to get
- 19:23Speaker 1: it done together. President Trump also saying he will never
- 19:27Speaker 1: back down from the promise to deport all violent criminal
- 19:31Speaker 1: legal aliens and make America safe again. It's a new year,
- 19:36Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. You've probably heard the name bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
- 19:41Speaker 1: So the question so many people have is is it
- 19:44Speaker 1: safe and is it something that I should be invested in.
- 19:47Speaker 1: It's a question I want to get answered for you
- 19:49Speaker 1: today in joining me now to talk about that. As
- 19:51Speaker 1: a co founder of Bitcoin Ira Chris Klin, Chris, I
- 19:55Speaker 1: appreciate you being here, and it is pretty cool to
- 19:58Speaker 1: see what's happening in the cryptos. It has become normal.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It now can be a part of your IRA. The
- 20:04Speaker 1: federal government has changed the rules. They're accepting cryptocurrency like
- 20:08Speaker 1: it's a stock.
- 20:09Speaker 11: Yes, absolutely, and it's really driven itself into a mainstream space.
- 20:13Speaker 11: I remember a decade ago when we first started bitcoin
- 20:16Speaker 11: IRA and everybody was like, are you crazy, kid? You're
- 20:19Speaker 11: putting bitcoin in retirement accounts? Is this even possible? And
- 20:22Speaker 11: you fast forward to where we're at today, where countries
- 20:25Speaker 11: are building stockpiles, corporations are building stockpiles. Strategy, for example,
- 20:29Speaker 11: is pretty much its entire business models around this. It's
- 20:31Speaker 11: a piece of diversification that every major player in the
- 20:35Speaker 11: space and economics is looking at, and so should too,
- 20:37Speaker 11: the individual sovereignty of the average American looking to put
- 20:40Speaker 11: it inside of their retirement.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You guys actually have a really cool stat that you
- 20:43Speaker 1: told me about at dinner, and that is that your
- 20:46Speaker 1: clients seventy five percent were born before nineteen seventy six.
- 20:51Speaker 1: So the idea that you may be missed out on this,
- 20:53Speaker 1: or if you're a little older, it's a young man's
- 20:55Speaker 1: game in crypto that is also just not true.
- 20:58Speaker 11: That's definitely one of the myths I want to come
- 21:00Speaker 11: to bunk with you and your audience isn't This isn't
- 21:03Speaker 11: our grandfather's economy, and grandfathers are buying bitcoin and putting
- 21:07Speaker 11: it inside their retirement for long term holdings, especially now
- 21:09Speaker 11: that they're thinking about inheritance and handing some of these
- 21:11Speaker 11: things down. But yeah, that was actually shocking to me.
- 21:14Speaker 11: We've discovered that in twenty eighteen that seventy five percent
- 21:17Speaker 11: of them were older than my parents' generation. And what
- 21:21Speaker 11: we found from surveying all of them was this is
- 21:23Speaker 11: something that they think is new age and that I
- 21:25Speaker 11: think almost every American, especially older ones, has a genuine
- 21:28Speaker 11: concern of watching what's happened to the US dollar over
- 21:31Speaker 11: the last four or five decades. And there's always been
- 21:33Speaker 11: gold and silver's a potential hedge, land, real estate, these
- 21:36Speaker 11: scarce assets and bitcoin. While it may seem oh that's
- 21:39Speaker 11: digital and it's different, it's scarce. There's only twenty one
- 21:42Speaker 11: million assets bitcoin that will ever be mined. Nineteen and
- 21:45Speaker 11: a half million have been mined so far, and you
- 21:48Speaker 11: and I actually won't live our kids will probably live
- 21:50Speaker 11: to see the last one get mined. This is something
- 21:52Speaker 11: you know, we're in a world of abundance since I
- 21:54Speaker 11: was born in nineteen eighty five. It's abundance. We just
- 21:56Speaker 11: printed and printed and printed more. This is a moment
- 21:58Speaker 11: in time where we may be able to revert back
- 21:59Speaker 11: to scarcity, and there'll be a day we're just saying
- 22:02Speaker 11: I have one Bitcoin will be life changing.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Chris.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I hope a lot of people that are watching this,
- 22:06Speaker 1: you guys, will go and find out more. It is
- 22:08Speaker 1: amazing what you can do in your retirement account now,
- 22:12Speaker 1: just like your other investments, with bitcoin cryptocurrency. Find out
- 22:16Speaker 1: more right now at bitcoinira dot com, slash ben that's
- 22:20Speaker 1: bitcoin ira dot com slash ben and see what cryptocurrency
- 22:25Speaker 1: can do for your portfolio. Senate Democrats are now threatening
- 22:31Speaker 1: to vote down key funding bills, particularly homeland security funding,
- 22:36Speaker 1: unless changes are made. What does this mean another government
- 22:40Speaker 1: shut down? The Whiteouts and Republicans are rejecting the democrats
- 22:44Speaker 1: demands for what they say is decoupling homeland security funding,
- 22:49Speaker 1: which increases the chances of a partial government shut down.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Now.
- 22:54Speaker 1: The Democrats opposition comes amid fallout from controversial actions, they
- 22:59Speaker 1: say by federal immigration agents, but critics argue this decision
- 23:03Speaker 1: is creating political chaos and uncertainty now in the budget
- 23:07Speaker 1: process and the standoff over the DHS funding means essential
- 23:11Speaker 1: agencies like the Pentagon and education programs could face lapses
- 23:17Speaker 1: in funding if the Democrats choose to shut down the
- 23:22Speaker 1: government yet again. Now, opponents argue Democrats are playing hardball
- 23:26Speaker 1: politically rather than negotiating, which could also hurt their standing
- 23:30Speaker 1: with the public, and we can trust in the government
- 23:33Speaker 1: operations in general under their leadership. There's also a bigger
- 23:38Speaker 1: part of this Democrats going all in to attack law
- 23:42Speaker 1: and order, to attack law enforcement, and now wanting to
- 23:47Speaker 1: deliberately defund law enforcement. Is this really the message they
- 23:51Speaker 1: want to be sending to voters ahead of the midterms.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Apparently they say yes. Now, how likely is it that
- 23:58Speaker 1: we will have a government shut down? Senator Ted Cruz
- 24:01Speaker 1: and I sat down and talked about exactly that, and
- 24:04Speaker 1: here's what he said about his prediction of will we
- 24:07Speaker 1: actually have another partial government shutdown? And what we're now
- 24:12Speaker 1: witnessing is Democrats, I think, feel like this issue plays
- 24:18Speaker 1: to their base, It engages their base, and they're now
- 24:22Speaker 1: going to use it to justify another government shut down.
- 24:28Speaker 4: This is my opinion.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I want to get your thoughts on it because I
- 24:31Speaker 1: think that we're headed there for this reason where they're like, hey,
- 24:35Speaker 1: we have a justification now for what we want to
- 24:37Speaker 1: get rid of ice. When we get rid of ice
- 24:39Speaker 1: funding funding for them? Is that wor' showing the government
- 24:41Speaker 1: down over? Are you seeing the way I'm seeing it
- 24:44Speaker 1: now that this is where we're headed.
- 24:46Speaker 7: Yes, But before we get the shut down, I want
- 24:48Speaker 7: to point out because politically, it's more than just their base. Yes,
- 24:52Speaker 7: it is true that these violent protests energize their base, drives, turnout,
- 24:57Speaker 7: drives fundraising. The crazies get all the more excited the
- 25:01Speaker 7: more violence the left foments. But it's about more than that.
- 25:05Speaker 7: It's also about totally capturing the news cycle, taking the
- 25:10Speaker 7: fraud and corruption out of the news cycle. That's a
- 25:13Speaker 7: totally separate objective that is critically important to them. But
- 25:16Speaker 7: there is a third one ben which is not the
- 25:19Speaker 7: base of the Democrat Party, but rather moderate women soccer
- 25:24Speaker 7: moms who may not be deeply politically engaged, and historically
- 25:30Speaker 7: moderate suburban women have been a swing vote. If you
- 25:33Speaker 7: look in the last decade, the two most predominant political
- 25:38Speaker 7: movements we've seen is that we've seen number one, blue
- 25:41Speaker 7: collar voters moving right. That's moved Midwestern states. States like
- 25:46Speaker 7: Ohio have gotten a lot red. They used to be purple.
- 25:48Speaker 7: Ohio's now read. But we've also seen suburban voters, particularly
- 25:52Speaker 7: suburban women, moving left, and that's moved what used to
- 25:56Speaker 7: be red states to purple. States like Georgia and Arizona,
- 26:00Speaker 7: both of them. Just a few years ago they had
- 26:02Speaker 7: four Republican senators from Georgia and Arizona. We now have
- 26:06Speaker 7: four Democrat senators from Georgia and Arizona. The reason is
- 26:10Speaker 7: suburban women in Atlanta and Phoenix move left. The Democrats
- 26:15Speaker 7: of the media are seizing on this to tell stories
- 26:19Speaker 7: and understand they're looking for not the person that is
- 26:22Speaker 7: following every development, but just the person who's living their
- 26:26Speaker 7: life and taking in what's happening and seeing a headline.
- 26:31Speaker 7: You know, Ice shoots mother of three, Ice shoots ICU nurse,
- 26:38Speaker 7: Ice apprehends five year old child. That story was everywhere,
- 26:42Speaker 7: by the way, it's a total lie. It's absolutely false.
- 26:45Speaker 7: In fact, what happened is Ice came to apprehend the father.
- 26:49Speaker 7: The father ran off and abandoned the five year old child,
- 26:52Speaker 7: and understandably, Ice was not going to leave a five
- 26:55Speaker 7: year old child alone on the street in the middle.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Of death outside.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they would leave alone period. But the
- 27:03Speaker 1: argument that the left has made, I'm like, let me
- 27:04Speaker 1: get this straight. You guys want the kid to be
- 27:06Speaker 1: left alone just to wander the streets of a city
- 27:09Speaker 1: and be alone.
- 27:10Speaker 4: That's insane.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And then in the winter when they could freeze death,
- 27:13Speaker 1: that's also insane.
- 27:14Speaker 7: They by the way, they found the woman, the mother
- 27:16Speaker 7: of the child. It is reported they found the mother
- 27:20Speaker 7: of the child. They knocked on the door, tried to
- 27:21Speaker 7: give the child back to her. She wouldn't take him.
- 27:24Speaker 7: She closed the door and said, no, I won't take him.
- 27:27Speaker 7: And so, look, the purpose of that story is not
- 27:30Speaker 7: actually factual journalism. It is entirely about telling a story
- 27:35Speaker 7: to pull on people's heartstrings and to cause suburban voters
- 27:41Speaker 7: who are not paying close attention to say, oh, this
- 27:44Speaker 7: has gone too far. If they're shooting moms and nurses
- 27:47Speaker 7: and arresting little kids, clearly it's gone too far. This
- 27:51Speaker 7: is a political campaign, and tragically it's a political campaign
- 27:55Speaker 7: that is costing people's lives. But because look, the political
- 27:59Speaker 7: campaign has had some real effect. It is it is
- 28:02Speaker 7: having a fact We saw you know John Kasik speaking
- 28:07Speaker 7: of suburban women. We saw John Kasik put out a
- 28:13Speaker 7: whole video saying, you know, oh, oh, I'm just I'm
- 28:17Speaker 7: hurting so much. We must stop, we must stop arresting illegals.
- 28:22Speaker 6: You know.
- 28:22Speaker 7: Unfortunately that's the target audience. And in the world of politics,
- 28:28Speaker 7: we've got to realize that we've got to confront the
- 28:32Speaker 7: bad stories with stories that are compelling, and it's where
- 28:35Speaker 7: tone matters, and I would encourage Look, the administration is
- 28:39Speaker 7: doing a fantastic job securing the border. Illegal crossings have
- 28:43Speaker 7: dropped ninety nine percent. It's phenomenal. They're doing a terrific
- 28:47Speaker 7: job going and arresting violent criminals, murderers and rapists and
- 28:51Speaker 7: gang bangers, which is why we've seen the murder rate
- 28:55Speaker 7: drop twenty percent. We covered that in the last podcast,
- 28:58Speaker 7: that the murder rate has dropped twenty percent sent across
- 29:01Speaker 7: the country. That's a massive success. What I think the
- 29:04Speaker 7: administration could do better is the tone with which they're
- 29:08Speaker 7: describing this. That immediately when an incident like this happens,
- 29:13Speaker 7: they come out guns blazing that we took out a
- 29:17Speaker 7: violent terrorist, hooray. And the problem is, particularly for someone
- 29:22Speaker 7: not paying attention if you're being told this is a
- 29:25Speaker 7: mom of three and there's no indication you know, she's
- 29:28Speaker 7: not waving an ISIS flag or doesn't have a suicide
- 29:32Speaker 7: vest around her. Yeah, escalating the rhetoric doesn't help, and
- 29:37Speaker 7: it actually loses credibility. And so I would encourage the
- 29:41Speaker 7: administration to be more measured, to recognize the tragedy and
- 29:45Speaker 7: to say we don't want anyone anyone's lives to be lost.
- 29:49Speaker 7: And the politicians who are pouring gasoline onto this fire,
- 29:55Speaker 7: they need to stop.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I agree with you there, and I also think, look,
- 29:58Speaker 1: facts matter. Blaming what happened is very important to five
- 30:02Speaker 1: year old story is a perfect example. All the morning
- 30:05Speaker 1: news shows, ABCNBCCBS, they led with that story and ran
- 30:08Speaker 1: it into the ground that morning, that a five year
- 30:11Speaker 1: old was detained by ice, and they didn't correct that story.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Not only is the Democratic Party looking for an opportunity,
- 30:17Speaker 1: so is the media and they now believe that like
- 30:21Speaker 1: this civil war and hold this flag up is you
- 30:24Speaker 1: know and planet is we as Democrats were willing to
- 30:26Speaker 1: shut down the government to defund ice. That's going to
- 30:29Speaker 1: be the premise, is what I've been told from from
- 30:32Speaker 1: many in the media that I've talked to and some
- 30:34Speaker 1: of my friends on the left, they're like, yeah, we're
- 30:36Speaker 1: gonna shut down. We're justified this time, way more than
- 30:38Speaker 1: we were last time. Last time we really weren't justified
- 30:41Speaker 1: very much in shutting down the government, but we tried
- 30:43Speaker 1: it anyway. Now they actually feel in bolden do you
- 30:46Speaker 1: think a government shutdown is going to come?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Yes or no?
- 30:49Speaker 1: Yes, yes, okay, and it's going to be tied to
- 30:53Speaker 1: this issue, right, yes, yes, a.
- 30:54Speaker 7: One hundred percent. The last government shutdown, which was the
- 30:58Speaker 7: longest government shutdown in USS, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats
- 31:01Speaker 7: forced through really to show his radical base that he
- 31:05Speaker 7: was fighting because he's scared of being primary by AOC.
- 31:09Speaker 7: But they also did it to tee up the issue
- 31:11Speaker 7: of health care and the cost of health insurance premiums.
- 31:14Speaker 7: Mind you, the premiums have skyrocketed because of Obamacare, because
- 31:18Speaker 7: of their policy. But they did the shutdown. It was
- 31:22Speaker 7: entirely with an eye towards November that they say, look,
- 31:25Speaker 7: we fought like crazy on health insurance, and the mean
- 31:28Speaker 7: Republicans didn't give us what we wanted, which was fifty
- 31:31Speaker 7: billion dollars in corporate welfare subsidies to giant health insurance companies,
- 31:35Speaker 7: and that's why your health insurance has gone up. Now
- 31:38Speaker 7: that's factually wrong, but it is a political narrative they're
- 31:43Speaker 7: telling here. They are going to tell the narrative, we
- 31:48Speaker 7: will not fund ICE under any circumstances, and we will
- 31:51Speaker 7: shut the government down. And by the way, the media
- 31:54Speaker 7: covered for them so much. Their base was so happy
- 31:58Speaker 7: with the shutdown. I think if they perceive very few
- 32:01Speaker 7: downsides to shutting the government down. Now, this shutdown that
- 32:06Speaker 7: will happen on January thirtieth will be will likely be
- 32:09Speaker 7: smaller than the previous one. And the reason is we've funded.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Still explain explain whide because does that mean they're being
- 32:15Speaker 1: more strategic in how they're doing it, or explain that.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Now between the two we have passed some appropriations bills.
- 32:22Speaker 7: So once appropriations bills are passed, those departments are funding,
- 32:27Speaker 7: so AG that the Department of Agriculture is funded, and
- 32:30Speaker 7: so everything that goes through AG is funded, CJS, Commerce,
- 32:35Speaker 7: Justice and science that is funded. Energy is funded, water
- 32:38Speaker 7: is funded, Interior environment, ledge branch, military construction in the VA,
- 32:45Speaker 7: all of those are funded. So the shutdown will not
- 32:48Speaker 7: impact any of those. So what would a shutdown impact?
- 32:52Speaker 7: It would it would impact Defense, the Department of War,
- 32:55Speaker 7: It would impact the Department of Labor, It would impact HHS,
- 32:59Speaker 7: It would impact the Department of Education, It would impact
- 33:03Speaker 7: the Department of Transportation and Housing in urban Development. It
- 33:06Speaker 7: would impact the SEC, the FCC, the independent agencies, And
- 33:11Speaker 7: it would impact DHS, the Department of Homeland Security, and
- 33:15Speaker 7: ICE directly under that. And I think you're going to
- 33:18Speaker 7: see the Democrats force a shut down. And actually you
- 33:21Speaker 7: don't have to take my words for it. Here, let
- 33:24Speaker 7: me read for you what Schumer tweeted out to the world.
- 33:27Speaker 7: He said, quote, what's happening in Minnesota is appalling and
- 33:32Speaker 7: unacceptable in any American city. Democrats sought common sense reforms
- 33:37Speaker 7: in the Department of Homeland Security spending bill, but because
- 33:40Speaker 7: of Republican's refusal to stand up to President Trump, the
- 33:44Speaker 7: DHS bill is woefully inadequate to rein in the abuses
- 33:47Speaker 7: of ICE. I will vote no. Senate Democrats will not
- 33:52Speaker 7: provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if
- 33:56Speaker 7: the DHS funding bill is included. Area is explicitly unequivocally
- 34:02Speaker 7: threatening a shutdown. I think that's what we're gonna see,
- 34:05Speaker 7: come James.
- 34:06Speaker 4: And by the way, he's not the only one.
- 34:07Speaker 1: So Elizabeth Warren was responding to another tweet.
- 34:10Speaker 4: I want to read it.
- 34:10Speaker 1: It was just the tweet she was responding to to
- 34:13Speaker 1: give it context. Says reminder, DHS legislation that funds ICE
- 34:17Speaker 1: at current levels without policy restrictions is in the Senate
- 34:21Speaker 1: and needs sixty votes to pass. Deadline is next Friday.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren puts that out there with this and she says, quote,
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm a hell no, not a penny more for ICE.
- 34:31Speaker 1: We should not fund this terror. So she's also jumping
- 34:36Speaker 1: on board with this as well. And then there's other
- 34:38Speaker 1: centers have come out and so this is why I
- 34:40Speaker 1: say this isn't a one off. This is clearly a
- 34:43Speaker 1: coordinated attack, is the best way I can describe it.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Well, here's Chris Murphy on CNN, give a listen.
- 34:49Speaker 5: I want to ask about what you're leader. Chuck Schumber says,
- 34:54Speaker 5: the Democrats are going to vote against a government funding
- 34:56Speaker 5: package that is before the Senate soon and it includes
- 35:00Speaker 5: money for the Department of Homeland Security. How is that
- 35:03Speaker 5: going to play out?
- 35:04Speaker 8: Well, we can't vote to fund this lawless Department of
- 35:08Speaker 8: Homeland Security.
- 35:09Speaker 1: We can't fund this lawless Department of Homeland Security center.
- 35:13Speaker 1: That's pretty bold words if you ask me by a
- 35:15Speaker 1: center that clearly is like, hey, we're all on the
- 35:17Speaker 1: same page.
- 35:17Speaker 4: This is what we're doing. Now.
- 35:19Speaker 7: Yeah, Look, that's the position of every Democrat. And understand
- 35:23Speaker 7: this is the same position that is abolish ICE and
- 35:26Speaker 7: abolish the police. They're saying they're going to refuse to
- 35:30Speaker 7: fund the Department of Homeland Security, the department that is
- 35:34Speaker 7: charged with keeping us safe, with securing our border, with
- 35:37Speaker 7: protecting our families, and the Democrats are saying we won't
- 35:41Speaker 7: fund it. So what will happen. I think there's a
- 35:45Speaker 7: chance we see Congress put together an appropriations package that
- 35:48Speaker 7: funds everything but DHS, that that might be that might pass.
- 35:54Speaker 7: In terms of DHS. I think the Democrats are going
- 35:58Speaker 7: to force a shutdown, and I think they want it
- 36:00Speaker 7: to be extended and in order.
- 36:02Speaker 4: This is not a short one.
- 36:04Speaker 1: To be clear, you think they want this to be painful,
- 36:07Speaker 1: almost like they're running in the midterms on this issue
- 36:09Speaker 1: of ICE.
- 36:10Speaker 7: I think they want to be able to tell their base,
- 36:13Speaker 7: we are defunding ICE, we are abolishing ice, we are
- 36:17Speaker 7: against law enforcement. We'rew the criminals. That's their messaging.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Well, keep following this story.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I can promise you that we've got a lot more
