- 0:04bomb where we make your brain do backflips.
- 0:08Today we've got 8 absolutely bonkers facts that'll make you
- 0:11say no way at least three times. So smash that like button and
- 0:16let's dive into the weirdness #8 butterflies taste with their
- 0:21feet. Imagine stepping on your lunch
- 0:23to see if it's yummy. That's what butterflies do every
- 0:26single day. They have taste sensors on their
- 0:29feet, so when they land on a flower, they instantly know if
- 0:31it's delicious. No forks, no spoons, just fancy
- 0:35foot tasting #7A group of flamingos is called a
- 0:40flamboyance. Scientists really nailed this
- 0:43one. A bunch of pink fabulous birds
- 0:46standing on one leg? Yeah, that's definitely a
- 0:48flamboyance. Other boring animals get groups
- 0:51called herds or flocks. But flamingos?
- 0:53They get to be flamboyant. Number six, your stomach gets a
- 0:57new lining every few days. Your stomach acid is so strong
- 1:01it can dissolve metal. So how does your stomach not
- 1:04digest itself? Plot twist, it kind of does.
- 1:08Your stomach grows a completely new lining every three to four
- 1:10days. It's basically redecorating
- 1:12constantly #5-A baby panda is smaller than a mouse.
- 1:18When giant pandas are born, they're absolutely tiny, about
- 1:21the size of a stick of butter. A newborn panda weighs only
- 1:25about four oz, which is smaller than most pet mice.
- 1:28But don't worry, they grow up to be those chunky bamboo munching
- 1:31giants we all love #4A sneeze travels at 100 mph.
- 1:38Chew that little sneeze you just did.
- 1:40It blasted out of your nose at highway speeds.
- 1:43Your sneeze can zoom through the air at 100 mph, sending
- 1:46thousands of tiny droplets flying up to 30 feet away.
- 1:49You're basically a human sneeze cannon #3A cloud can weigh over
- 1:55£1,000,000. Clouds look all fluffy and
- 1:59light, floating around without a care in the world, but a typical
- 2:03cumulus cloud weighs about £1.1 million.
- 2:07That's like 100 elephants just chilling in the sky.
- 2:10How are they even floating? Science is crazy #2 sea otters
- 2:16hold hands while they sleep. Stop everything.
- 2:19This is the cutest fact ever. Sea otters hold hands with their
- 2:23buddies while they sleep so they don't drift apart in the ocean.
- 2:25They literally form Otter rafts of cuteness.
- 2:28I'm not crying, you're crying. Number one, you can't hum while
- 2:33holding your nose. OK, I know you just tried it,
- 2:36everyone does. When you hum, the sound actually
- 2:40comes out of your nose, not your mouth.
- 2:42So if you plug your nose, the sound has nowhere to go.
- 2:45Don't worry, I tried it too while writing this.
- 2:49And there you have it, 8 facts that just scrambled your brain
