  Speaker 1: Y'all know what time y'all don't know y'all back a
• 0:10
Speaker 1: suit on, looking back to back down, giving them more
• 0:15
Speaker 1: like the milan buck things in the cubbing good it,
• 0:21
Speaker 1: Steh listening to the movie together for study. I don't
• 0:38
Speaker 1: join joining me. You gotta turn you, you gotta turn
• 1:40
Speaker 1: the turnour got to turn out. Then turn the water,
• 1:47
Speaker 1: the water go me. Come come on your fad uh huh,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: I sure will a good morning everybody. You are listening
• 2:05
Speaker 1: to the VARs, come on dig me now, one and only.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man?
• 2:13
Speaker 1: How good is God to me? And part of the
• 2:16
Speaker 1: mission and the reason that I have a radio show
• 2:20
Speaker 1: is to become a share of more and more of
• 2:23
Speaker 1: a share of you know. I used to hear my
• 2:26
Speaker 1: mother say it to me all the time. But God
• 2:28
Speaker 1: blesses you to become a blessing. And I think the
• 2:31
Speaker 1: more you understand that about yourself, I think the more
• 2:34
Speaker 1: blessings will flow your way. I think that once you
• 2:37
Speaker 1: understand the principle, that you know it. But it's kind
• 2:42
Speaker 1: of tied together with some other scriptures, and I'm not
• 2:45
Speaker 1: too knowledgeable about them, of course, as usual, but I
• 2:49
Speaker 1: do know what I've heard you know, and you know
• 2:52
Speaker 1: if you look at something simple as do unto others
• 2:54
Speaker 1: as you would have them do unto you, wouldn't you
• 2:58
Speaker 1: want somebody to help you if you needed help. I
• 3:02
Speaker 1: just know how to get it down there to where
• 3:04
Speaker 1: I've been able to understand it. If there's a scripture
• 3:08
Speaker 1: similar that it says do unto others as you would
• 3:12
Speaker 1: have them do unto you, or if that's you know
• 3:17
Speaker 1: in a prayer, would not you want somebody to help
• 3:21
Speaker 1: you if you needed help? You've heard you reap what
• 3:27
Speaker 1: you sow. Do you understand that if you so discord,
• 3:33
Speaker 1: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: hate gonna come your way. If you blog nothing but
• 3:41
Speaker 1: negative comments about people, your life will be filled with negativity.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: If all you do is talk about people, then guess
• 3:48
Speaker 1: what somebody got to turn that gun around and talk
• 3:51
Speaker 1: about you. See, it just stands to reasons. So what
• 3:56
Speaker 1: I've learned in my life and through all the miles
• 4:00
Speaker 1: and tribulations that I've had, is to take those lessons
• 4:05
Speaker 1: and share them with people in case you ain't heard
• 4:07
Speaker 1: it from somebody else. See sometimes and the reason it
• 4:11
Speaker 1: seems like I'm redundant at times, is what I am
• 4:15
Speaker 1: is because I'm always trying to find a different way
• 4:18
Speaker 1: to say the same thing. Because it's a funny thing. Man,
• 4:22
Speaker 1: You got to hear it a certain way for it
• 4:24
Speaker 1: to click with you. How many times have I heard
• 4:30
Speaker 1: a saying and then I heard it a different way
• 4:34
Speaker 1: that it clicked with me? You know, I've heard of
• 4:39
Speaker 1: this saying right here, remember this now, everybody's not happy
• 4:43
Speaker 1: for you. We've all heard that, right, everybody's not happy
• 4:46
Speaker 1: for you. Well, that's very simple that I don't need
• 4:50
Speaker 1: no explanation. That simply means of all the people you
• 4:55
Speaker 1: know or do not know, when something happens to you
• 4:58
Speaker 1: and you celebrating, everybody's not going to join in on
• 5:02
Speaker 1: the celebration. That's all that is. But then you take
• 5:06
Speaker 1: it one step further. My father used to say something
• 5:08
Speaker 1: to me all the time. He says, son, everybody come
• 5:11
Speaker 1: with you, can't go with you. I didn't get that
• 5:13
Speaker 1: when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you can't go
• 5:16
Speaker 1: with you. He said, you're gonna lose some of these
• 5:18
Speaker 1: friends you got along the way. But I don't care
• 5:21
Speaker 1: where you get in life. No, this right here, everybody
• 5:25
Speaker 1: can't go with you. If you are constantly trying to
• 5:28
Speaker 1: improve yourself, you constantly have to take assessment of the
• 5:32
Speaker 1: people around you. Because if you are going to continue
• 5:35
Speaker 1: to go and continue to grow, then guess what you
• 5:39
Speaker 1: got to have people that's on the goal and willing
• 5:41
Speaker 1: to grow, or else guess what you're gonna learn the
• 5:47
Speaker 1: valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butch Lewis.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: I was talking with Butch Lewis one time, and man
• 5:55
Speaker 1: with a good brother man, he say, every successful man's
• 5:59
Speaker 1: doing what I call he got rope work to do.
• 6:02
Speaker 1: He got rope work to do. He got to put
• 6:05
Speaker 1: in work on rope. And I'm sitting there listening to
• 6:09
Speaker 1: Butch Lewis and all the money he had made and
• 6:11
Speaker 1: all the people's lives he had changed, and all of
• 6:13
Speaker 1: the moves he was making, and his incredible skills as
• 6:17
Speaker 1: a negotiator on behalf of some very very wealthy people.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: He was just an amazing man with no education. But
• 6:24
Speaker 1: he read everything. He Butch Lewis read all that, all
• 6:27
Speaker 1: the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything. He said,
• 6:31
Speaker 1: you got to put in rope. And I was sitting
• 6:34
Speaker 1: there listening. He said, here is the analogy, little brother.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: He said, you are on rope. There's a thick rope.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: You have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
• 6:49
Speaker 1: just below the knee, and they tattered, and you got
• 6:52
Speaker 1: dirt on you and you're sweating. There's this huge, huge
• 6:55
Speaker 1: raw rope over your shoulder that's burn marks on all
• 6:59
Speaker 1: of your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon.
• 7:03
Speaker 1: That wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
• 7:09
Speaker 1: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
• 7:13
Speaker 1: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
• 7:19
Speaker 1: all on that wagon. Man, they're just sitting there. He's saying,
• 7:23
Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon
• 7:26
Speaker 1: up the heel. The only thing with it is, can't
• 7:28
Speaker 1: nobody help you pull your wagon. You pull your wagon alone.
• 7:33
Speaker 1: He saying, Now, what you can do along the way
• 7:36
Speaker 1: of pulling your wagon, as you can find yourself a
• 7:39
Speaker 1: good wife, a good woman. He's saying that what that
• 7:41
Speaker 1: woman does is she get down off the wagon. She
• 7:45
Speaker 1: fan you while you pull it. She put water on
• 7:47
Speaker 1: you while you pull it. She put stuff in your
• 7:50
Speaker 1: mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out the
• 7:52
Speaker 1: way while you pull it. But she but she pull
• 7:55
Speaker 1: it for you. But she is equally as important as
• 7:58
Speaker 1: you are on the pull of the rope. He said,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: you hear me clearly now, young soldier. He said, NA
• 8:03
Speaker 1: get this hell, He says, people on your wagon that
• 8:06
Speaker 1: you're responsible for. But you want the people on your
• 8:10
Speaker 1: wagon to help you get your wagon to the top.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: So what you hope is that they got their foot
• 8:16
Speaker 1: hanging over the side pushing, They got one leg over
• 8:19
Speaker 1: the back, or maybe both legs over the back pushing.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: They got they might have their butt on the wagon,
• 8:25
Speaker 1: but they push you with both legs. They're back facing
• 8:28
Speaker 1: your back, maybe some of them facing you when one
• 8:30
Speaker 1: of them got left leg hanging over trying to push.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: And you hope that all the people on the wagon
• 8:35
Speaker 1: you pull it is back there at least trying to
• 8:38
Speaker 1: help the wagon get to the top of the hill.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: Here goes your problem. Though everybody ain't pushing, everybody ain't pulling,
• 8:45
Speaker 1: ain't bear, everybody ain't pulling, Everybody ain't kicking rocks out
• 8:48
Speaker 1: the way. You got some people on your wagon that's
• 8:51
Speaker 1: just laying on the wagon drinking lemonade, looking at you,
• 8:56
Speaker 1: talking about how long it's taking you to get your
• 8:58
Speaker 1: wagon up to the top, looking at you, telling my
• 9:01
Speaker 1: whitest wagon, so slow. Then when you start picking up
• 9:04
Speaker 1: picking up speed, they want you to pull harder, you
• 9:07
Speaker 1: to pull faster, you to pull mole. Then they want
• 9:10
Speaker 1: you to throw what you then earned on the way
• 9:12
Speaker 1: up the hill backed on the wagon so they can
• 9:15
Speaker 1: have MO. But guess what, they ain't helping you get more.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: But they got a sense of entitlement that since you
• 9:20
Speaker 1: got mold, they should have MO. Everybody come with you
• 9:24
Speaker 1: can't go with you. Sometimes you gotta kick the people
• 9:27
Speaker 1: off the wagon that ain't pushing and pull it and say,
• 9:30
Speaker 1: hey man, I'm sorry. I thought I could do this
• 9:33
Speaker 1: with you, and I thought you was going with me.
• 9:35
Speaker 1: But it's clear to me you ain't nothing but dead weight.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: And it ain't my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: I have carried you as long as I have to
• 9:43
Speaker 1: carry you. You are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible
• 9:48
Speaker 1: for my family, my wife, my children. I'm not responsible
• 9:51
Speaker 1: for you. You got to get off my wagon because
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: I'm a man on rope. I'm on a mission, baby,
• 9:56
Speaker 1: I'm pulling. You're listening show, Ladies and gentlemen, please please
• 10:03
Speaker 1: your undivided attention. Steve Harvey Martin Show about to kick off,
• 10:07
Speaker 1: and today's show is dedicated to that person of most
• 10:14
Speaker 1: importance and we all have them in our lives. Today's
• 10:18
Speaker 1: show is dedicated to the people who come and tell
• 10:22
Speaker 1: you they have a hard out, anybody who comes to
• 10:29
Speaker 1: you and tells you listen, this has to be finished
• 10:33
Speaker 1: at this time. This show is dedicated to people with
• 10:37
Speaker 1: what's called in our business, a hard out out. How
• 10:42
Speaker 1: many times I've been on my show, man and some
• 10:44
Speaker 1: guest of little importance comes in and wants the whole
• 10:50
Speaker 1: show to be wrapped around because they have a hard out?
• 10:55
Speaker 1: You know? How many times out of hand that on
• 10:57
Speaker 1: my show? Oh I'm sure y'all, ain't y'all have? Oh Doc?
• 11:01
Speaker 1: The people that have come on my set and with
• 11:04
Speaker 1: excuse me, and it's usually the publish is usually not
• 11:07
Speaker 1: even that person. They have a hard out. It not
• 11:10
Speaker 1: be going really really really stop that, ladies and gentlemen,
• 11:15
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show has a hard end. We're on
• 11:20
Speaker 1: right now. Shirley st Hey, Good morning, Steve, Colin Farrell,
• 11:26
Speaker 1: good morning, what's up, crew, I'm gonna say good morning
• 11:29
Speaker 1: to somebody that never say good morning too, but I
• 11:31
Speaker 1: want y'all to hear her, boy Monica Barns, good morning,
• 11:35
Speaker 1: hey By. Just thought y'all wouldn't wanted to hear what
• 11:42
Speaker 1: Junior morning, morning, nephew, Timmy top top top baby, Thursday morning, Uncle, Steve.
• 11:51
Speaker 1: That's what it is. It is. It is boy ball boy.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: Interesting game yesterday. That well, the verdict, the president. Oh yeah,
• 12:04
Speaker 1: the dude, I mean not the verdict, yeah, the sentence,
• 12:09
Speaker 1: the sentencing, the sentencing, the punishment, and you're talking about
• 12:13
Speaker 1: the president going off tweeting, I ain't watch it. Yeah yeah, yeah,
• 12:22
Speaker 1: yeah yeah yeah yeah no lost it, lost it. Yeah.
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: But you know, man, it's it's it's just I can't
• 12:28
Speaker 1: even believe what they're doing. But then I can, but
• 12:32
Speaker 1: then you can exactly exactly, Steve. It's but it is
• 12:36
Speaker 1: the most blatant show of Here's here's what throws me
• 12:40
Speaker 1: about the Republican Party. Their beloved Constitution, that their beloved
• 12:46
Speaker 1: forefathers wrote that they hang on their walls and they
• 12:51
Speaker 1: put it in your face when it comes to anything,
• 12:54
Speaker 1: anything at all, if it comes to freedom of speech,
• 12:57
Speaker 1: if it comes to the second of men meant to
• 13:00
Speaker 1: write to bear arms. They weighed that constitution, but when
• 13:03
Speaker 1: one of them violates the constitution, they stopped waving it.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: They put it right now, they set it down, act
• 13:10
Speaker 1: like they never read it. Don't give a damn what's
• 13:16
Speaker 1: in that constitution. He'd do what he want to do.
• 13:20
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morner Show will address it all today. What
• 13:22
Speaker 1: you got, Sharley, Well, you know Bernie Sanders too is
• 13:25
Speaker 1: a little um oh yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, but
• 13:29
Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
• 13:31
Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty two after the hour, talk
• 13:33
Speaker 1: about more political news and Bernie Sanders right after this.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, So Democratic President Joe
• 13:42
Speaker 1: Canada to Bernie Sanders has canceled all campaign appearances due
• 13:46
Speaker 1: to a health issue. Bernie, of course is mister Sanders.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: I should say it's seventy eight years old. He was
• 13:51
Speaker 1: hospitalized in Las Vegas last night after experiencing chest pains.
• 13:56
Speaker 1: Doctors discovered a block to artery and inserted too. Then
• 14:00
Speaker 1: Bernie's campaign says he's resting comfortably now is and is
• 14:05
Speaker 1: in good spirits. It has cleared his schedule until further notice. Wow,
• 14:10
Speaker 1: he is, he's cleared his schedule now, so he needs
• 14:13
Speaker 1: some rest. Yeah, seventy eight, he is the oldest. Yeah
• 14:16
Speaker 1: he Sidney. Yeah yeah, he has to recover. Yeah he
• 14:20
Speaker 1: really does get well. Yeah, Yeah, he's gonna it's gonna
• 14:23
Speaker 1: take a minute now. I wish him well though, I
• 14:24
Speaker 1: really do. And campaigning it's hard. I mean, this is
• 14:27
Speaker 1: not easy. Okay, Yeah, it's they've been doing this for
• 14:31
Speaker 1: I mean it's going to be over a year when
• 14:33
Speaker 1: it's all said and done. You know, he did it before,
• 14:36
Speaker 1: and he did it before. Yeah. Yeah, So you got
• 14:40
Speaker 1: to be in some shape, don't you. You need to
• 14:42
Speaker 1: be fit. Huh. Yeah, well you know, I mean it's
• 14:45
Speaker 1: it's mentally grinding, you know. I mean you got same questions.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: You got to speak to crowds of people. You gotta
• 14:52
Speaker 1: do interviews, you gotta debates, you got to raise money. Yeah,
• 14:56
Speaker 1: you know, he is stressful. He stressed very much. So
• 14:59
Speaker 1: you you have in trouble getting in and out the
• 15:01
Speaker 1: CARDI and your hands don't need to be president. That
• 15:04
Speaker 1: ain't distress. We're talking about the problem. Rocking your way out. Yeah, people,
• 15:19
Speaker 1: mister president, get out the car. We're here. Yeah, it's
• 15:29
Speaker 1: a bit visual right now. Oh my coat, give me
• 15:34
Speaker 1: your head, boy, let my arm go. This is what
• 15:38
Speaker 1: you don't want to hear from you. Yeah, who has
• 15:40
Speaker 1: the presidential in halom? Oh? Gosh yeah, who has the presidentially? Yeah?
• 15:47
Speaker 1: But we wish him the best. A speedy recovery for
• 15:50
Speaker 1: Bernie Sands, definitely, yeah, mister president, mister president, do you
• 15:54
Speaker 1: have your night? Wow? All right, go out there and
• 15:58
Speaker 1: get them tiger. I remember six minutes. I'll throw another one.
• 16:02
Speaker 1: Catch it with your mouth. Got the president up there
• 16:08
Speaker 1: like he all sealed, trying to catch his mads and
• 16:13
Speaker 1: other political news guys. President Trump accuses the Democrats of
• 16:17
Speaker 1: wasting everyone's time and energy on b S. Yeah he
• 16:21
Speaker 1: said it, well, but he said it Tommy, just dude, Yeah,
• 16:27
Speaker 1: I don't care say it again. On what did he do?
• 16:30
Speaker 1: Didn't didn't he What do you do with the girl? Well, girl,
• 16:34
Speaker 1: stormy stormy day from his pres Oh he did all
• 16:41
Speaker 1: that though, ain't nothing, but he's the president. Come on
• 16:48
Speaker 1: for Sureley, did you see what he was talking about
• 16:50
Speaker 1: Pompey versus Adam Shift and how qualified Pompey was and
• 16:54
Speaker 1: then he said Adam Shift couldn't carry his blank strap.
• 16:58
Speaker 1: And you know, I don't want to use the word
• 16:59
Speaker 1: because think I'm so awful, but he couldn't carry his
• 17:03
Speaker 1: blank strap. And you know what I mean, Dog, if
• 17:06
Speaker 1: you're gonna type out the whole word b asked, I
• 17:10
Speaker 1: think it's okay to say jock strappy, I really do. Dog.
• 17:16
Speaker 1: You got the dumbest way of deciding horse fair at
• 17:20
Speaker 1: what eight horse best and horse not? That's why, Man,
• 17:24
Speaker 1: when you get a person that's never been poor, that's
• 17:27
Speaker 1: never served people, that's never had to care for anyone,
• 17:30
Speaker 1: he can't govern a nation of people who need things.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: He can't, Nope, because if you need anything, you cannot
• 17:38
Speaker 1: expect to get it from a person who's never needed nothing.
• 17:41
Speaker 1: He doesn't understand that kind of need. Also Steve, during
• 17:44
Speaker 1: yesterday's press conference, take a listen when journalists Jeff Majors
• 17:48
Speaker 1: asked the president what does he want Ukraine's president does
• 17:51
Speaker 1: Zelensky to do about issues with Joe Biden and his
• 17:54
Speaker 1: son Hunter. Take a listen. We have the president of
• 17:57
Speaker 1: Finland ask him a question. I have one for him.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: I just wanted to follow up on the one that
• 18:00
Speaker 1: I asked you, which did you hear me. You want
• 18:02
Speaker 1: did you hear me? Ask him a question? I will,
• 18:05
Speaker 1: but giving you a long answer. Ask this gentleman a question.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Don't be rude. No, sorry, I don't want to be rude.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: I just wanted you to have a chance to answer
• 18:13
Speaker 1: the question that I asked to answer. Everything it's a
• 18:16
Speaker 1: whole hoax. And you know who's playing into the hoax,
• 18:19
Speaker 1: people like you and the fake news media that we
• 18:21
Speaker 1: have in this country. And I say, in many cases
• 18:24
Speaker 1: the corrupt media, because you're corrupt. Much of the media
• 18:27
Speaker 1: in this country is not just fake, it's corrupt. And
• 18:30
Speaker 1: you have some very fine people too, great journalists, great reporters,
• 18:35
Speaker 1: but to a large extent, it's corrupt and it's fake.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: Ask the president of Finland the question. Please, no, I
• 18:43
Speaker 1: won't that rect or run out right now? So now
• 18:46
Speaker 1: now you canna tell me how to do my job.
• 18:48
Speaker 1: You gonna tell me how to do Here's a problem
• 18:51
Speaker 1: when this president keep talking about something is fake and
• 18:55
Speaker 1: something is corrupt, and you can put that up in
• 18:58
Speaker 1: the same sensence. This is the same time when he

Speaker 1: protest that ten year term. The reason well because before
• 34:27
Speaker 1: the jury decided on the sentence, the prosecutors showed them
• 34:30
Speaker 1: some of Geiger's racist and violent posts over the defense's objection.
• 34:34

• 34:51
Speaker 1: Another tech suggests that she adopted German shepherd. Although it
• 34:54
Speaker 1: may be racist. Geiger says, oh that's okay, I'm the same.
• 34:58
Speaker 1: I hate everything in every but y'all. One Pinterest reads,
• 35:02
Speaker 1: I wear all black to remind you not to mess
• 35:04
Speaker 1: with me because I'm already dressed for your funeral. Another
• 35:07
Speaker 1: one reads people are so ungrateful, no one ever thanks
• 35:10
Speaker 1: me for having the patience not to kill them again.
• 35:13
Speaker 1: After seeing all of that, the jury gave Geiger only
• 35:15
Speaker 1: ten years. She's reportedly eligible for parole in five. By
• 35:19
Speaker 1: the way, Amber Geiger is the first female member of
• 35:21
Speaker 1: the Dallas PD to be found guilty of murder. The
• 35:23
Speaker 1: last time a jury convicted any Dallas cop and murder
• 35:26
Speaker 1: was in the seventies, but in the last three years,
• 35:29
Speaker 1: four Dallas County officers have been indicted for murder, and
• 35:32
Speaker 1: Geigo is Geiger rather is the third to be convicted.
• 35:36

• 37:15
Speaker 1: you find out how the relationships going, and yeah, you
• 37:18
Speaker 1: follow up. I follow up with with the young man
• 37:21
Speaker 1: that was sick, you know, Alex, I follow up with him.
• 37:24
Speaker 1: This is Sea the last season from the last season,
• 37:26
Speaker 1: from season one, and uh man, that brother had to
• 37:29
Speaker 1: learn how to walk all over again. Wow. I mean, yeah,
• 37:32
Speaker 1: he's on a cane now, but he's getting stronger and stronger.
• 37:34
Speaker 1: But it's it's it was an uphill battle for this brother.
• 37:37
Speaker 1: I mean, he was in a coma for months. The
• 37:43
Speaker 1: brain they said, brain flew. I've never heard that before
• 37:46
Speaker 1: in my life. So this was something so bizarre. Man,
• 37:48
Speaker 1: it just it's kind of just freaked everybody out. But
• 37:51
Speaker 1: much love to Alex. Uh he moving moving forward, trying
• 37:55
Speaker 1: to get back. Man, Please get this short. That so
• 37:56
Speaker 1: my mama could ask could ask me about where's Timmy
• 37:58
Speaker 1: coming on the teeth Saturday night? And it's it's the
• 38:04
Speaker 1: couples they watching too, even singles watching, but there's more
• 38:06
Speaker 1: couples watching. The two people you know me and are
• 38:09
Speaker 1: saying that's you. You are just like that, and the
• 38:11
Speaker 1: women doing it back to the men. So everybody get
• 38:13
Speaker 1: to tune in. So so if everybody was wondering why
• 38:17
Speaker 1: Tommy was, you know, dieting and losing weight and everything,
• 38:20
Speaker 1: this is why ready to live look decent? Yeah, this
• 38:23
Speaker 1: Saturday October fifth, he wanted me to be a fat host.
• 38:27
Speaker 1: So he said, I was all right, that's what. Ain't
• 38:31
Speaker 1: you ship numbers? Not now warm? Ready to roasting by
• 38:42
Speaker 1: her very nephew, Jommy this Saturday October fifth, ready for love?
• 38:46
Speaker 1: Ain't really ready for a meal? Coming up in thirty
• 38:51
Speaker 1: four after the hour, Amber Geiger sentenced to ten years
• 38:54
Speaker 1: for killing both of them John and his brother forgives her.
• 38:58
Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening while
• 39:04
Speaker 1: a Dallas jury sentence Dallas police officer amberg Geiger to
• 39:08
Speaker 1: ten years in prison for fatally shooting both of John
• 39:12
Speaker 1: as he ate a bowl of ice cream in his
• 39:14
Speaker 1: own apartment. The state asked the jury to sentence Amber
• 39:17
Speaker 1: to twenty eight years. That was the age both of
• 39:19
Speaker 1: John would have been this year. The ten years sentence
• 39:23
Speaker 1: punishment was met with booze and jeers by a crowd
• 39:26
Speaker 1: gathered outside the courtroom. One woman said the sentence was
• 39:29
Speaker 1: a slap in the face. However, in a stunning moment,
• 39:32
Speaker 1: both of John's brother, Brent. John told Amber Geiger on
• 39:35
Speaker 1: the stand inside the courtroom, I forgive you and go
• 39:39
Speaker 1: to God. Take a listen. Let speak for myself. I
• 39:43
Speaker 1: forgive you, and I know if you go to God
• 39:48
Speaker 1: and ask him, he will forgive you. And I don't
• 39:52
Speaker 1: think anyone could sit again. I'm speaking for myself, not
• 39:56
Speaker 1: even bad on my family. But I love you just
• 40:00
Speaker 1: like anyone else. I'm not gonna say I hope you
• 40:02
Speaker 1: rot and die. It's just like my brother did. But
• 40:07
Speaker 1: I see I personally want the best for you, and
• 40:11
Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna ever say this in front of my
• 40:15
Speaker 1: family or anyone. But I don't even want you to
• 40:18
Speaker 1: go to jail. I want the best for you because
• 40:23
Speaker 1: I know that's what That's exactly what both of them
• 40:25
Speaker 1: would want you to do, and the best would be
• 40:27
Speaker 1: gave your life to Christ. I don't know if it's possible,
• 40:30
Speaker 1: but can I give her a hug? Please? Wow? Wow,
• 40:35
Speaker 1: what another different kind of human man. But they said
• 40:39
Speaker 1: the same thing about his brother, I mean about both.
• 40:41
Speaker 1: You know he was that kind of guy. It's just
• 40:43
Speaker 1: such a guy. When I watched this on television yesterday,
• 40:49
Speaker 1: it all right, It really choked me up man, because
• 40:54
Speaker 1: I was feeling that young brother man because he he
• 40:58
Speaker 1: has to he has to live with this the rest
• 41:03
Speaker 1: of his life, and he chose not to make hate
• 41:09
Speaker 1: a part of the rest of his life, right right.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: That that's a special person to be able to fix
• 41:18
Speaker 1: in your mind the correct way. Now, I don't know
• 41:23
Speaker 1: that about me. I don't I don't know that about me.
• 41:28
  Speaker 1: I don't know, absolutely, absolutely not. I don't know that
• 41:35
Speaker 1: I could have. I appreciate it. He made me pause
• 41:39
Speaker 1: and think, but I do not know if I could
• 41:44
Speaker 1: have done it exactly his way. I could have maybe
• 41:47
Speaker 1: done a version of it. I know. I know for
• 41:54
Speaker 1: a fact. We're not hugging that. I know. But you
• 41:58
Speaker 1: did you did hear what he said us? No? No, no,
• 42:00
Speaker 1: I understand exactly what he said, and it was most powerful.
• 42:04
Speaker 1: I have a closing remark I'm gonna do about that.
• 42:07
Speaker 1: I've been thinking about this, so I'm gonna save my
• 42:09
Speaker 1: remarks because he said that's what his late brother would
• 42:11
Speaker 1: have wanted. You know. Wow, Yeah, that was stunning a
• 42:19
  Speaker 1: human being. I was. I don't know if I can
• 42:21
Speaker 1: reach that. So let me ask hunt. You probably noticed
• 42:24
Speaker 1: when they give you ten years this is not federal.
• 42:27
Speaker 1: What do you really get in all actuality? Well, he
• 42:32
Speaker 1: she can be up for parole in five years. Okay, yeah, wow,
• 42:40
Speaker 1: Now that this was a jury sentence though, right, the
• 42:42
Speaker 1: judge didn't do this right, Yeah, it was different. I
• 42:46
Speaker 1: didn't know juries could give out sentencing like that. That
• 42:49
Speaker 1: was I was kind of surprised to hear the jury
• 42:51
Speaker 1: did the actual sentencing. Yea. When Tommy asked that question
• 42:55
Speaker 1: yesterday and we were like, judge, yeah, you said, who's
• 43:00
Speaker 1: going to send her? But in this case, yeah, it
• 43:02
Speaker 1: was the jury. Wow. Wow. Well, God, God bless the
• 43:07
Speaker 1: John family. Yeah, just God bless them. So you can
• 43:11
Speaker 1: post your comments on the both from John's story at
• 43:13
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram or Facebook. Coming up next,
• 43:16
Speaker 1: we'll switch gears and nephew Tommy is here with a
• 43:19
Speaker 1: prank phone call for today that's coming up right after
• 43:21
Speaker 1: this you're listening to. Coming up at the top of
• 43:27
Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
• 43:30
Speaker 1: letter for today, subject I am not the one to
• 43:33
Speaker 1: play with okay right now though, yeah, you heard me,
• 43:36
Speaker 1: I'm not the one now to play with right now though.
• 43:39
Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today's prank phone call? What
• 43:42
Speaker 1: do you have for us today? Now? Moving next? Dough?
• 43:50
Speaker 1: Who moving next? Dough? Dwine? You know your neighbor? Who
• 43:53
Speaker 1: moving next? Machine? Who moving? Neck though? Let's go hello,
• 44:02
Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach uh mister Dolan. Dolan, Dolan, Dolan,
• 44:08
Speaker 1: mister Dolan answer? How you doing? My name is uh
• 44:12
Speaker 1: Clifford Cooper. Yeah. What can you do for you? Mister? Uh?
• 44:16
Speaker 1: You you you live at uh? Uh? Check you out
• 44:20
Speaker 1: a drawn? Why do you want to know that? Well? Actually,
• 44:23
Speaker 1: I'm at sixteen twenty three. I bought I bought the uh,
• 44:27
Speaker 1: I actually bought the house that was for sale next
• 44:29
Speaker 1: door to you. Okay, well congratulations, But how did you
• 44:32
Speaker 1: get my number? Actually the realtor told me that he
• 44:36
Speaker 1: had your number because I said I wanted to reach
• 44:38
Speaker 1: out to the neighbor's next door and he told me
• 44:41
Speaker 1: that mister Dolan was actually the person next door and
• 44:44
Speaker 1: and uh he didn't think you would mind me me
• 44:47
Speaker 1: actually getting the number. Okay, well I'll talk with the
• 44:50
Speaker 1: real little layer. But what can I do for you, sir? What? What?
• 44:52
Speaker 1: What I what I wanted to know is do do
• 44:54
Speaker 1: you have any problems like living next door to to
• 44:57
Speaker 1: to black? People. I'm sorry what you just ask me?
• 45:01
Speaker 1: I mean, like like I you know, like I said,
• 45:03
Speaker 1: I just bought the place next though, And I want
• 45:05
Speaker 1: to know, do you have any problems, you know, living
• 45:07
Speaker 1: next door the black people? Uh no, sir, I have
• 45:11
Speaker 1: no problem. I'm assuming you're a black man, and uh
• 45:15
Speaker 1: I have no problem with that. I judge people by
• 45:18
Speaker 1: their actions, not their color. Okay, now do you do
• 45:20
Speaker 1: you do you have any any black people experience? Well? Yeah,
• 45:24
Speaker 1: I've worked with, gone to school with, has several friends
• 45:27
Speaker 1: of many different ethnicities. Uh but what what is it?
• 45:31
Speaker 1: What's this? How is this relative? Well, you know, like
• 45:34
Speaker 1: I said, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be living next
• 45:36
Speaker 1: to you, and I'm just making sure that you know,
• 45:38
Speaker 1: you and I can coincide, coexist, but rather on the
• 45:42
Speaker 1: same block and not really have a problem with one another.
• 45:45
Speaker 1: Base Because what I'm trying to say, well, do you
• 45:47
Speaker 1: have a problem with white people? Uh? No, No, No,
• 45:49
  Speaker 1: I don't have a problem white people. Uh. I'm cool.
• 45:52
Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just trying to make sure you know, Uh,
• 45:55
Speaker 1: I mean, because me and you already have a bit
• 45:57
Speaker 1: of a problem already, you know we do. Yeah, yeah,
• 46:01
Speaker 1: we have a problem. I mean, I'm bound bothering me
• 46:04
Speaker 1: while on that work. What's your problem? Okay? Well my
• 46:07
Speaker 1: problem is this is that, you know, after purchasing the property,
• 46:10
Speaker 1: I went downtown to the city and actually looked at,
• 46:14
Speaker 1: you know, the layout of this entire property. And when
• 46:17
Speaker 1: I look at it, you actually twenty five close to
• 46:21
Speaker 1: thirty feet over the property line. Well, now you look
• 46:24
Speaker 1: at the wrong map. No, No, the fifth that separates
• 46:27
Speaker 1: my backyard from your backyard. You have thirty feet over that.
• 46:31
Speaker 1: That's impossible, you know, listen, and I know it is.
• 46:34
Speaker 1: Let me let me know. I'm gonna tell you, uh,
• 46:36
Speaker 1: look at you got a jacouzi in your backyard right,
• 46:39
Speaker 1: So you don't given spine on me. No, I haven't
• 46:42
Speaker 1: inspired on you, sir. I'm just telling you close to that,
• 46:46
Speaker 1: not far from that fish line, don't. Don't you have
• 46:48
Speaker 1: a jakouzi there? Well, as a matter of fact, I do. Yes. Okay,
• 46:51
Speaker 1: Now the pools, the pool is okay. But but if
• 46:55
Speaker 1: I if I pushed that fish line back thirty and
• 46:57
Speaker 1: actually get the property that I'm supposed to have, well
• 47:00
Speaker 1: I'm pretty much oh yo yo youo jacuz you'll ha
• 47:03
Speaker 1: to Nancy. Okay, let me tell you something. I've been
• 47:07
Speaker 1: in that house for ten years. We put that sense
• 47:09
Speaker 1: up when we moved in, and it was based on
• 47:12
Speaker 1: the property line. That was that was the set when
• 47:15
Speaker 1: ten years ago. I don't know what you're looking at,
• 47:19
Speaker 1: but my sense is not moving. My Jacuzi is not moving,
• 47:22
Speaker 1: and there's there's no changing that. Okay, Well, let me,
• 47:26
Speaker 1: let me let me. I'm glad you hear your voice
• 47:28
Speaker 1: what you wanted the voice. No, no, no, no, no,
• 47:31
Speaker 1: you hear you hear Old cluff at Let me tell
• 47:33
Speaker 1: you so. Uh, Either we're gonna take the fifth line
• 47:36
Speaker 1: and moving where supposed to be. Oh, We're gonna put
• 47:39
Speaker 1: a gate between uh two yards, and I'm gonna be
• 47:43
Speaker 1: able to come and get in this jacozy and pool
• 47:45
  Speaker 1: whenever I want to. All right, let's let's let's let's
• 47:48
Speaker 1: talk about this. First of all, there's gonna not gonna
• 47:50
Speaker 1: be a gate, okay. And as far as you just
• 47:53
Speaker 1: coming over and getting into Jacuzi at will, I got
• 47:57
Speaker 1: a real problem with that. Uh you've called me at work.
• 48:00
Speaker 1: I'm on the job and I'm having to listen to
• 48:02
Speaker 1: this on a future neighbor who's making weird claims about
• 48:08
Speaker 1: how he owns part of my lamp. Got back, I
• 48:12
Speaker 1: hold to jakouzi. S no, no, you did not pay
• 48:15
Speaker 1: for that JACUZI. You did not pay for that tense.
• 48:18
Speaker 1: You just showed up making a He called me at work,
• 48:21
Speaker 1: and and and and then you hand me some story
• 48:25
Speaker 1: with no evidence. I'll go down to the city hall
• 48:28
Speaker 1: and look at those papers myself, because I don't trust
• 48:32
Speaker 1: word you're saying. I've been there for ten years. I've
• 48:35
Speaker 1: had ten other neighbors in that backyard. Y'all cycle through
• 48:39
Speaker 1: once a year, I swear, and I've never had any
• 48:42
Speaker 1: problems with him until you come along. This is some okay. Well,
• 48:46
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. There's something you need to understand.
• 48:49
Speaker 1: You got a new black neighbor, and you got a
• 48:51
Speaker 1: new black neighbor that owns part owns your jakouzi, because
• 48:54
Speaker 1: you're over the fifth line, all right. And as soon
• 48:57
Speaker 1: as I move in, I'm coming and I'm getting in
• 48:59
Speaker 1: my jakouz. See you, wo man, you know what I mean.
• 49:03
Speaker 1: Don't move into that. I'm gonna use the jacouzi on Monday,
• 49:07
Speaker 1: Wednesday and Friday. You get it on Tuesday, Thursday and
• 49:11
Speaker 1: the weekend. That's it, because blade is damn jacouzi belongs
• 49:14
Speaker 1: to me, the jacouzie of the home, my black man
• 49:17
Speaker 1: and a white man, and we're gonna get along. Bladam line.
• 49:20
Speaker 1: Look here, let listen here, you who are you to
• 49:23
Speaker 1: dictate what days I get to use my jacuzi because
• 49:27
Speaker 1: it's not coming over to mind, not just you ain't
• 49:29
Speaker 1: were crying. It's our jakouzi because you you built it.
• 49:33
Speaker 1: That's the only thing that makes it yours. It being
• 49:36
Speaker 1: on my part of the property I was making mind.
• 49:39
Speaker 1: So therefore we're gonna share his damn jakouzi, and we're
• 49:42
Speaker 1: gonna try to get you jacouzie. I'm passing your across
• 49:46
Speaker 1: the fence. I will be there on Monday's Wednesdays, and
• 49:49
Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be I'll be standing out my jacouzi
• 49:52
Speaker 1: with a shotgun. You take one step over to my property,
• 49:55
Speaker 1: my property line. I swear if I can jump through
• 49:59
Speaker 1: this phone, i'd ring your neck. You know who's gonna
• 50:01
Speaker 1: be in there with me? Who the gonna be in there?
• 50:03
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have cutting hell in the damn jacouse. Who
• 50:07
Speaker 1: cutting hell? My co worker? Man, this is nephew. Tell
• 50:14

• 52:49
Speaker 1: I am not the one to play with, Dear Stephen Shirley.
• 52:54
Speaker 1: I am a fifty four year old black professional man
• 52:58
Speaker 1: who has been married for twenty five years. I am
• 53:02
Speaker 1: six six and two hundred and seventy pounds, and I
• 53:06
Speaker 1: am not to be played with. But my wife seems
• 53:09
Speaker 1: to think she could play me and get away with it.
• 53:13
Speaker 1: We're in the middle of a divorce now because I
• 53:15
Speaker 1: found out that she was taking and sending nude pictures
• 53:19
Speaker 1: to an ex boyfriend. I also found out that she'd
• 53:22
Speaker 1: been having an affair with the guy for almost a year.
• 53:26
Speaker 1: When I confronted her, she told me that she's been
• 53:29
Speaker 1: unhappy for a long time and she needs more. I
• 53:32
Speaker 1: filed for divorce immediately, But as I mentioned, I am
• 53:38
Speaker 1: not the one to be played with, So I went
• 53:40
Speaker 1: to visit the guy she was sleeping with. You. When
• 53:44
Speaker 1: we read that line again, seventy went to visit me.
• 53:48
Speaker 1: He went to visit the guy. He went to visit
• 53:51
Speaker 1: the guy that she was sleeping with. I told him
• 53:54
Speaker 1: that I knew everything and that he could have my wife.
• 53:58
Speaker 1: This guy said that he's married and what he my
• 54:00
Speaker 1: wife had was just a fling. He said he'd never
• 54:03
Speaker 1: leave his wife for her or anyone else. So I
• 54:06
Speaker 1: found his wife and I went to see her too.
• 54:09
Speaker 1: It was all in my plan to get revenge, but
• 54:12
Speaker 1: I didn't expect for his wife to be as fine
• 54:15
Speaker 1: and pretty as she is. I told her about my
• 54:19
Speaker 1: wife and her husband's affair, and she was not shocked
• 54:22
Speaker 1: or upset. She said she knows her husband as a cheater.
• 54:26
Speaker 1: She started flirting with me and eventually told me that
• 54:30
Speaker 1: she has needs of her own that are not being
• 54:32
Speaker 1: taken care of. Well, well, you know, I offered to
• 54:38
Speaker 1: help her with her needs and she couldn't resist. So
• 54:42
Speaker 1: here we are months later, and we both have admitted
• 54:46
Speaker 1: that we're falling for each other. There is nothing better
• 54:49
Speaker 1: than revenge. But but I don't want my new woman
• 54:53
Speaker 1: to find out it was all a gain in the beginning.
• 54:56
Speaker 1: Should I keep our affair a secret a little longer
• 54:59
Speaker 1: or should I show my wife that two can play
• 55:01
Speaker 1: that game? Please advise, Steve Nah, Please advise Steve, you
• 55:12
Speaker 1: ain't that's right. Well, I mean, you know, this is
• 55:17
Speaker 1: just a big old nasty mess here. Um, I didn't
• 55:20
Speaker 1: think just like apparently, I don't see. Not to interrupt you,
• 55:24
Speaker 1: but mine is not gonna start off with this a
• 55:27
Speaker 1: big old nasty man. Okay, well it is all right,
• 55:32
Speaker 1: thank you, sir. I just didn't think like everyone else
• 55:35
Speaker 1: that this letter was gonna end up like this. I
• 55:37
Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be some fighting. You know, maybe
• 55:40
Speaker 1: I don't know something a little more serious than how
• 55:44
Speaker 1: this ended up. Now it seems like everyone is just
• 55:47
Speaker 1: one big happy family. You're with his wife. Uh, he's
• 55:51
Speaker 1: with your wife. Except for your wife. When she finds out, um,
• 55:56
Speaker 1: you know how her side piece, you're your girls. H
• 56:00
Speaker 1: new girl's husband feels about her, She's not gonna be
• 56:03
Speaker 1: too happy. It's gonna be quite a blow to her
• 56:05
Speaker 1: ego and her self esteem. Uh you were pretty easy, huh.
• 56:09
Speaker 1: She was that fun and that pretty huh. And it
• 56:15
Speaker 1: was an opportunity. So now you guys are are are
• 56:18
Speaker 1: involved in a relationship. So it looks like, uh, what
• 56:22
Speaker 1: you guys are gonna just do a trade off thing.
• 56:24
Speaker 1: You know, her husband is gonna have something to say
• 56:28
Speaker 1: about this because he's not interested in leaving his wife.
• 56:31
Speaker 1: He's just not what is wrong to get to the
• 56:36
Speaker 1: bottom of girl. You know, I just this this. You
• 56:47
Speaker 1: know you you guys do what you do. I mean,
• 56:49
Speaker 1: if that's what you think. Revenge, This is all about
• 56:52
Speaker 1: revenge and everything. I mean. The thing for you to do,
• 56:56
Speaker 1: if you really want to be with her, of course,
• 56:58
Speaker 1: is to go ahead with a divorce proceedetings with your
• 57:00
Speaker 1: wife and to marry this woman if she divorces her husband.
• 57:03
Speaker 1: Other than that, you guys are all having an all
• 57:06
Speaker 1: having an affairs. Jesus. All right, Steve cool? Thanks Sherley, Shelly, listen,
• 57:12
Speaker 1: I want to compliment. You pay your compliment. You did
• 57:14
Speaker 1: a wonderful job. You did as best she could. That problem, well, Shirley,
• 57:21
Speaker 1: you know the problem you have with this letter is
• 57:24
Speaker 1: he said, Steve, please advise Steve. He knew, Shelly, he knew.
• 57:30
Speaker 1: You can't. You can't help him because you're not gonna
• 57:34
Speaker 1: feel what he feels. And it's understandable. It's some letter, Shirley,
• 57:39
Speaker 1: where you take a woman's perspective and you touch on
• 57:41
Speaker 1: a lot of stuff I don't think of because you
• 57:44
Speaker 1: have an angle I don't have, so I respect that
• 57:47
Speaker 1: this fitting for your man. I'm not the one to
• 57:50
Speaker 1: get played with. Did the older damn letter? With? What
• 57:52
Speaker 1: this letter about? Been married twenty five years? And here
• 57:56
Speaker 1: the facts before we get any other fact. I'm fifty four,
• 58:01
Speaker 1: been married twenty five years. I damn to half my life.
• 58:05
Speaker 1: But now hear what you need to know. I'm six
• 58:08
Speaker 1: six and two seventy and I am not to be
• 58:12
Speaker 1: played with, clearly, But his wife seemed to think that,
• 58:18
Speaker 1: you know, she could play with him, get away with him.
• 58:21
Speaker 1: We're in the middle of a divorce now because I
• 58:23
Speaker 1: found out that she was taking and send the new
• 58:25
Speaker 1: pictures to an ex boyfriend. Also find out that she'd
• 58:29
Speaker 1: been having a fair with the guy for almost a year.
• 58:32
Speaker 1: When I confronted her, she told me she had been
• 58:34
Speaker 1: unhappy for a long ass time and she needs more.
• 58:38
Speaker 1: I don't know how much more you need than sixty
• 58:40
Speaker 1: six two seven. What are you looking for? How much
• 58:45
Speaker 1: more is it? I certainly don't have more at six
• 58:50
Speaker 1: two two thirty five. I don't have more. I probabise
• 58:54
Speaker 1: your kid ain't got more shoulder last time, ain't got
• 58:59
Speaker 1: I don't know what mode you comboxive. He's six six two.
• 59:04
Speaker 1: Hang on, we'll have part two of your coming up
• 59:10
Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. Subject up today's letter.
• 59:13
Speaker 1: I am not the one to play with. We'll be
• 59:15
Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on,
• 59:21
  Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters. So don't recall I am
• 59:24
Speaker 1: not the one to play with. He to be played with?
• 59:28
Speaker 1: Fifty four, married twenty five years. He's six six two seventy.
• 59:32
Speaker 1: He ain't to be played with, but the damn wife
• 59:34
Speaker 1: thinks she can play. So he found out she's been
• 59:37
Speaker 1: taking pictures sending into the dude. Then find out touch
• 59:40
Speaker 1: shee been having an extra Metal of faun, she says,
• 59:44
Speaker 1: and when he confronted her about it, she says she
• 59:47
Speaker 1: needs more. We left trying to figure out what more
• 59:50
Speaker 1: do you want? He's six six two seventy y what mold? Okay?
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: But obviously you won't more so then, but as I mentioned,
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: I'm not to be played with. So I went to
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: visit the guy that she was sleeping with. That right here,
• 1:00:15
Speaker 1: it's where this letter starts to take a turn, where
• 1:00:18
Speaker 1: every man here and this going this as yeah, she said,
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: you don't play with me. I want to pay him
• 1:00:25
Speaker 1: a visit to the guy she was sleeping with, told
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: him I knew everything and that he could have him.
• 1:00:32
Speaker 1: See here, want her no more? He threw with him,
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: you know this ain't no left. You can have them.
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: You know, I'm just letting you know this right here now.
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: But now let me show you what happened. Though. He
• 1:00:42
Speaker 1: scared his punk ass so bad when he said you
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: can have her. First thing, he said, I'm married and
• 1:00:51
Speaker 1: just jack, I wouldn't leave my wife for her or anybody.
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: I don't want her. See because if he said because
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: if he just said you can have it, he said, thanks,
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: he'd ha knocked his ass into the midute. Next week,
• 1:01:07
Speaker 1: he'd woke up in a coma Sherley. If he'd answered
• 1:01:10
Speaker 1: that question wrong and you could have her, thanks man, fuck,
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: I love your wife, that would have been it. This
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: guy said he's married, that he and my wife was
• 1:01:22
Speaker 1: just a fleeing. He said he never leave his wife
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: for her or anyone. So six six found his wife
• 1:01:31
Speaker 1: and went to see her too. It was all in
• 1:01:34
Speaker 1: my plan to get revenge. I would he was just
• 1:01:37
Speaker 1: gonna tell it, But he didn't expected his wife to
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: be as fine and as pretty as she is. I
• 1:01:42
Speaker 1: told her about my wife and her husband as a fan.
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: She wasn't shocked up and said she said, you know
• 1:01:46
Speaker 1: her husband cheating. She started flirting with me and eventually
• 1:01:50
Speaker 1: told me that she got needs or her own that's
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: not being taken. Now. I know she got needs because
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: her man ain't six six two seven. You're looking at
• 1:02:01
Speaker 1: all it beefcake in front of you. You start thinking loud,
• 1:02:05
Speaker 1: what is all this hill by Christmas? To me? I
• 1:02:12
Speaker 1: got knees and can't get mad. But I bet she
• 1:02:15
Speaker 1: can do something. Well, you know, I offered to help
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: her with her needs and she couldn't resist. Boy, I
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: know that right. So here we are months later and
• 1:02:30
Speaker 1: we both have to admit, admit it that we are
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: falling for each other. Oh this it got good. Now.
• 1:02:36
Speaker 1: There's nothing better than revenge. But I don't want my
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: new woman to find out it was all a game
• 1:02:41
Speaker 1: in the beginning. Should I keep our fans secret a
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: little longer? Or should I show my wife and that
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: two can play this game? Please advise Steve or you
• 1:02:50
Speaker 1: came to the right player player boiling the hill. First
• 1:02:55
Speaker 1: of all, you do not tell her that it was
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: all a game to begin it. But what you do
• 1:03:02
Speaker 1: say is when I came over, there was about revenge
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: for me. I just wanted him to feel hurt and
• 1:03:10
Speaker 1: wanted his marriage to be in pain the way mine
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: had to go through it. But when I saw you,
• 1:03:17
Speaker 1: I said, Wow, how could he do this to some
• 1:03:20
Speaker 1: woman like this? And then I found out you knew
• 1:03:23
Speaker 1: he was cheating on you like all women do. And
• 1:03:27
Speaker 1: then you just said that you have needs and I
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: got needs, and we began to share with one another.
• 1:03:33
Speaker 1: And so now here we are and we have this moment.
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: So tell her that you came for revenge, but after
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: you saw her, you could not imagine how he could
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: do this to a woman like you. And so we
• 1:03:51
Speaker 1: started seeing each other, and what I found it you
• 1:03:54
Speaker 1: was everything I wanted, because that's why y'all falling for
• 1:03:58
Speaker 1: each other. In the words of an old friend of mine,
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: fair exchange ain't no robber. If you got my wife
• 1:04:11
Speaker 1: and I got chow wife, and both our wives is
• 1:04:14
Speaker 1: cool with being got bam got you change. So now
• 1:04:22
Speaker 1: here's what you do. Don't tell your wife nothing, why
• 1:04:25
Speaker 1: you can't why you can't wait to rub this in
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: her face. Let her get the divorce, let her discover
• 1:04:34
Speaker 1: that the dude don't want her. Yeah, but then let
• 1:04:40
Speaker 1: me explain something to you. What you're worried about what
• 1:04:43
Speaker 1: he gonna do if you take his wife? What even
• 1:04:46
Speaker 1: to do? You ain't to be played with your six
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: six two seven? What a podcasts gonna do when he
• 1:04:52
Speaker 1: finds out you got his wife? And if you worry
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: about what your wife gonna do when you tell her
• 1:04:56
Speaker 1: you're sleeping with his wife, what he gonna do? Not
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: a day damn thing. Y'all gonna live happily. Laughter, and
• 1:05:03

• 1:08:08
Speaker 1: going down, my girl, Maxi and Water say not just impeachment,
• 1:08:12
Speaker 1: need to go to jail, solitary confinement. And then y'a
• 1:08:15
Speaker 1: almost slipped up and say and let our Kelly out.
• 1:08:18
Speaker 1: I was like, oh, you went too far, too far.

  Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Tommy, let's go, let's go. It's
• 1:08:56
Speaker 1: that time, getting ready, getting ready to get ready. She
• 1:08:58
Speaker 1: is here, call a friend with what reality update? All right,
• 1:09:03
Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Here we go. Let's talk about Basketball Wives.
• 1:09:08
Speaker 1: We switch it up a little bit. Yeah. So on
• 1:09:12
Speaker 1: Basketball Wives, Shanny invited the girls on a trip. Here
• 1:09:17
Speaker 1: we go, Steve to Costa Rica because she needed to
• 1:09:21
Speaker 1: do a site check on a real estate opportunity and
• 1:09:25
Speaker 1: it's you know, she might have a possibility of owning
• 1:09:28
Speaker 1: a resort. So she invited the girls to come on
• 1:09:31
Speaker 1: down anyway. You know how we do it, girls trip drama.
• 1:09:35
Speaker 1: So first, some of the women in Byron Scott's family
• 1:09:39
Speaker 1: are having issues. Byron Scott's daughter in law, Kristen, and
• 1:09:44
Speaker 1: his fiance are beefing, and you know, Kristen, she kind
• 1:09:47
Speaker 1: of started a lot of the drama last season. And
• 1:09:50
Speaker 1: then you know, she said the Byron Scott, you know,
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: it's not being a good grandfather. So you know that
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: was a lot of drama between Byron and good grandfather
• 1:10:02
Speaker 1: A yeah, round right grandfather dad a head, Yeah, yeah,
• 1:10:13
Speaker 1: that's her husband. Yeah. So it was so it was
• 1:10:15
Speaker 1: just a lot of drama there, Steve, so Cecie, who
• 1:10:19
Speaker 1: is uh Byron's fiance, she just got sick of the
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: drama and so my girl, she is kind of she
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: was like a doormat during the season. She just let
• 1:10:28
Speaker 1: people say whatever, Well honey, she got fed up in
• 1:10:31
Speaker 1: Costa Rica and she started checking them all. So it
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: was team cec your girl, O g Jackie Christie. You
• 1:10:40
Speaker 1: know she's on another side of Yeah, I love Jackie's
• 1:10:44
  Speaker 1: my favorite. I wouldn't watch a real you don't need
• 1:10:47
Speaker 1: to security. Yeah, all right, So anyway, Shawny, Evelyn, Kristen, Malaysia, Phoebe.
• 1:10:56
Speaker 1: It was just all of this arguing back and forth.
• 1:10:59
Speaker 1: So that and Shanny decides to throw this pool party,
• 1:11:02
Speaker 1: and then Cec she got sick of arguing with her
• 1:11:04
Speaker 1: future daughter in law, so she tried to leave the
• 1:11:06
Speaker 1: pool party. Guess who took off running from behind to
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: get after CC down the ramp at the resort. Yes, yeah, yes,
• 1:11:24
Speaker 1: I was so mad at her. She took off running
• 1:11:27
Speaker 1: with like a bamboo or some kind of plant leaf
• 1:11:31
Speaker 1: in her hand, but she was trying to I don't
• 1:11:34
Speaker 1: know what she was trying to do, but she kind
• 1:11:35
Speaker 1: of ran up on CEC from behind him, you know OG,
• 1:11:40
Speaker 1: you know O G don't play So her and CC, Yeah,
• 1:11:44
Speaker 1: and she fell. Evelyn bust behind, Yes, she fell trying
• 1:11:50
Speaker 1: to get after this girl. It was just really really ugly.
• 1:11:53
Speaker 1: You want to think that this behavior it was in
• 1:11:56
Speaker 1: the past and just stop all this fighting and arguing.
• 1:11:59
Speaker 1: It was It's just really really messy. So Worre has
• 1:12:02
Speaker 1: it too on social media. Steve that Byron Scott is
• 1:12:05
Speaker 1: not happy with Shawnee and that he's been watching the
• 1:12:08
Speaker 1: show and he's on the show quite often, but he's
• 1:12:11
Speaker 1: been watching the show and he does not like the
• 1:12:13
Speaker 1: way Shannie is treating his fiance cc cc so um,
• 1:12:18
Speaker 1: there's some on the show, yes, CEC that's the one
• 1:12:23
Speaker 1: who Evelyn ran up on. Yeah, well you just say,
• 1:12:26
Speaker 1: you know, dog, if you're gonna take the check, you
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: gotta take the mess. Yeah. And that's reality to you
• 1:12:33
Speaker 1: mess with the check because of the mess. Yeah. Right,
• 1:12:38
Speaker 1: And Seanny ain't who you want in this case, right,
• 1:12:41
Speaker 1: Hill partner, no check, they're not ready to know. Yeah,
• 1:12:48
Speaker 1: And then you need to bring all of your show
• 1:12:51
Speaker 1: so they can be ready to love and stop all
• 1:12:53
Speaker 1: u arguing and hating. That's right, Steve. And and then
• 1:12:56
Speaker 1: there's some mess last night on the show with og
• 1:13:00
  Speaker 1: I don't know, she's kind of like flirting with Evelyn's
• 1:13:03
Speaker 1: ex husband, Chad Ocho Cinko, and it's just it's not
• 1:13:11
Speaker 1: a show. Yeah, but she kind of DMed him on
• 1:13:14
Speaker 1: social media and she brought all that mess back up
• 1:13:17
Speaker 1: and Evelyn, it's just too much basketball wife. So we'll
• 1:13:22
Speaker 1: continue this conversation you can hit me up at lip
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: Spark Carla on social media and we'll talk about love
• 1:13:28
Speaker 1: and hip hop, Hollywood too to be two K drama
• 1:13:30
Speaker 1: with Little Fizz and April and omrah good it just
• 1:13:34
Speaker 1: never you're listening to. Okay, So, Steve, this woman who
• 1:13:44
Speaker 1: walked and walked straight into the lions den at the
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: Bronx Zoo over the weekend and survived, I might add,
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: was high. She was high when? Yeah, go ahead? This
• 1:13:55
Speaker 1: according to the cops. They say they found video of
• 1:13:57
Speaker 1: her smoking right before the stunt. They've identified the woman
• 1:14:01
Speaker 1: she jumped to fence entered the Lion's enclosure over the weekend.
• 1:14:04
Speaker 1: They say her social media shows her smoking something that
• 1:14:07
Speaker 1: looks like a weed right before walking. She just realized
• 1:14:11
Speaker 1: in New York. Didn't they need to reverse it? Okay,
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: two questions. Yes, was she white? No, Steve, she was
• 1:14:19
Speaker 1: she was black. Yeah, this was a weed. No, No,
• 1:14:23
Speaker 1: this wasn't weak. It's dipped in something. It was. That
• 1:14:31
Speaker 1: isn't what we do. A lot of people smoke weed.
• 1:14:35
Speaker 1: Ain't that weed is not fish climbing weed is man.
• 1:14:42
Speaker 1: Damn that fills high. That's weak. So she stared down
• 1:14:48
Speaker 1: the lion and in his enclosure. Then she did a
• 1:14:51
Speaker 1: few dance moves and she was just a few feet
• 1:14:54
Speaker 1: away from the lion. Steve, you know, she was taunting him.
• 1:14:58
Speaker 1: But the lion thank god I didn't Yeah, he didn't
• 1:15:01
Speaker 1: go yeah quick, God God just took care of her. Yeah,
• 1:15:08
Speaker 1: because he could have mauled the mess out of her.
• 1:15:11
Speaker 1: But when she seed his video too, when she sobers up. Yeah,
• 1:15:16
Speaker 1: all right, Mark marks the Steve Harvey Morning Show and
• 1:15:20
Speaker 1: some trending news coming up at thirty three after the hour,
• 1:15:23
Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening mon show. While a Dallas
• 1:15:28
Speaker 1: jury sentence Dallas police officer Amber Geiger to ten years
• 1:15:32
Speaker 1: in prison for fatally shooting both of John as he
• 1:15:36
Speaker 1: ate a bowl of ice cream in his own apartment,
• 1:15:38
Speaker 1: the state asked the jury to sentence Amber to twenty
• 1:15:41
Speaker 1: eight years. That was the age both of John would
• 1:15:44
Speaker 1: have been this year. The ten years sentence punishment was
• 1:15:48
Speaker 1: met with booze and jeers by a crowd gathered outside
• 1:15:51
Speaker 1: the courtroom. One woman said the sentence was a slap
• 1:15:53
Speaker 1: in the face. However, in a stunning moment, both of
• 1:15:56
Speaker 1: John's brother Brent, John told Amber Geiger on this stand
• 1:16:00
Speaker 1: inside the courtroom, I forgive you and go to God.
• 1:16:03
Speaker 1: Take a listen, speak for myself. I forgive you, and
• 1:16:11
Speaker 1: I know if you go to God and ask him,
• 1:16:14
Speaker 1: he will forgive you. And I don't think anyone could
• 1:16:17
Speaker 1: say it again. I'm speaking for myself, not even bad
• 1:16:20
Speaker 1: for my family. But I love you just like anyone else.
• 1:16:24
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say I hope you rot and die.
• 1:16:28
Speaker 1: It's just like my brother did. But I see I
• 1:16:33
Speaker 1: personally want the best for you. And I wasn't gonna
• 1:16:37
Speaker 1: ever say this in front of my family or anyone.
• 1:16:41
Speaker 1: But I don't even want you to go to jail.
• 1:16:43
Speaker 1: I want the best for you because I know that's
• 1:16:47
Speaker 1: what That's exactly what both them would want you to do.
• 1:16:50
Speaker 1: And the best would be gave your life to Christ.
• 1:16:52
  Speaker 1: I don't know if it's possible, but can I give
• 1:16:55
Speaker 1: her a hug? Please? Wow? Wow? Different kind of human man,
• 1:17:02
Speaker 1: But they said the same thing about his brother, I
• 1:17:04
Speaker 1: mean about both such a great guy. When I watched
• 1:17:09
Speaker 1: this on television yesterday, it really choked me up, man,
• 1:17:16
Speaker 1: because I was feeling that young brother man because he
• 1:17:22
Speaker 1: he has to he has to live with this the
• 1:17:27
Speaker 1: rest of his life, and he chose not to make
• 1:17:33
Speaker 1: hate a part of the rest of his life, right right.
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: That that's a special person to be able to fix
• 1:17:42
Speaker 1: in your mind the correct way. Now, I don't know
• 1:17:47
Speaker 1: that about me. I don't I don't know that about me.
• 1:17:52
  Speaker 1: I don't know, absolutely, absolutely not. I don't know that
• 1:17:59
Speaker 1: I could have. I appreciate it. He made me pause
• 1:18:03
Speaker 1: and think. But I do not know if I could
• 1:18:07
Speaker 1: have done it exactly his way. I could have maybe
• 1:18:11
Speaker 1: done a version of it. I know. I know for
• 1:18:18
Speaker 1: a fact were not hugged that I know. But you did?
• 1:18:22
Speaker 1: You did hear what he said? Those Steves? No, no, no,
• 1:18:24
Speaker 1: I understand exactly what he said, and it was most powerful.
• 1:18:28
Speaker 1: I have a closing remark I'm gonna do about that.
• 1:18:30
Speaker 1: I've been thinking about this, so I'm gonna save my
• 1:18:32
Speaker 1: remarks because he said that's what his late brother would
• 1:18:35
Speaker 1: have wanted. You know, Wow, Jess. Coming up next, we'll
• 1:18:40
Speaker 1: do our last break of the day, and then, of
• 1:18:43
Speaker 1: course we will have some closing remarks from the one
• 1:18:46
Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine
• 1:18:49
Speaker 1: minutes after you're listening all right here we are Steve,
• 1:18:55
Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this Thursday. It's
• 1:18:58
Speaker 1: been a good Thursday. A lot of things going on
• 1:19:01
Speaker 1: in the news, A lot of things busy, busy with
• 1:19:04
Speaker 1: people playing with lions. Yeah, that was crazy, crazy. Calm
• 1:19:13
Speaker 1: us all down, put everything all into perspective and give
• 1:19:15
Speaker 1: us something to hope and dream for it time. I don't.
• 1:19:18
  Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know if that's what this is
• 1:19:20
Speaker 1: gonna be today. I really don't, because I want in
• 1:19:25
Speaker 1: another direction. Well my clothes remarks. Today is going to
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: be a commentary. Okay, I don't do commentary often, um,
• 1:19:40
Speaker 1: but today I wanted to talk about this brother by
• 1:19:44
Speaker 1: the name of both of them, John who was murdered
• 1:19:48
Speaker 1: by this police officer, Amber Geiger, and the reaction to
• 1:19:55
Speaker 1: both of John's eighteen year old brother. I watched it,
• 1:20:00
Speaker 1: young man at eighteen years old talk about forgiveness and
• 1:20:06
Speaker 1: then he begged this woman to hug him and asked
• 1:20:09
Speaker 1: the court can I please hug her? Now? Let me
• 1:20:12
Speaker 1: tell you something. I was choked up when I watched this.
• 1:20:17
Speaker 1: I watched it yesterday on the news because as he
• 1:20:21
Speaker 1: was hugging her and asking the court to please allow
• 1:20:25
Speaker 1: him to hug her and saying that he didn't want
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: her to even go to jail, and he was debating
• 1:20:31
Speaker 1: on whether he was gonna say this in front of
• 1:20:33
Speaker 1: his family. I was imagining what this eighteen year old
• 1:20:39
Speaker 1: young man could have possibly been thinking. Now I don't
• 1:20:43
Speaker 1: know exactly what he was thinking, but maybe he didn't
• 1:20:46
Speaker 1: want his big brother's memory to be that of hate.
• 1:20:52
Speaker 1: Maybe he didn't want that hate to be his own
• 1:20:57
Speaker 1: form of cancer. Maybe he knew that his brother has
• 1:21:01
Speaker 1: never hated anybody in his life, and he wasn't gonna
• 1:21:06
Speaker 1: tie his memory by hating someone on his behalf. So
• 1:21:13
Speaker 1: this eighteen year old young man chose to forgive because
• 1:21:20
Speaker 1: Hayden don't get his brother back. Hate, don't honor or
• 1:21:26
Speaker 1: tell the story of who his brother was. And he
• 1:21:30
Speaker 1: said so in his commentary to the fact that this
• 1:21:33
Speaker 1: is not what his brother would have wanted, because he
• 1:21:36
Speaker 1: knew his brother intimately. It was his big brother, So
• 1:21:41
Speaker 1: he chose to forgive. I was amazed at this young
• 1:21:47
Speaker 1: man's strength and and and and because he even pleaded
• 1:21:54
Speaker 1: with the court to allow him to hug her. And
• 1:21:57
Speaker 1: as he hugged her to Bailiff went up on that
• 1:22:00
Speaker 1: just looking at him. But you could look into Bailif's
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: face like, Wow, he couldn't believe it. I don't know
• 1:22:06
Speaker 1: if people really understand what all and how many times
• 1:22:12
Speaker 1: people in this world have to forgive. Most people have
• 1:22:18
Speaker 1: had to forgive many times. Well, since this is a
• 1:22:24
Speaker 1: race issue, and for those of you who don't think
• 1:22:29
Speaker 1: that this is a race issue, it's why we can't
• 1:22:34
Speaker 1: solve racism, because there are those who won't even acknowledge
• 1:22:39
Speaker 1: racism even when it's blatant. So how do we solve
• 1:22:44
Speaker 1: something when people keep denying that it exists. This case
• 1:22:51
Speaker 1: was another case about racism, And since this is about race,
• 1:22:57
Speaker 1: let me say this first. I know for fact that
• 1:23:00
Speaker 1: there are whites who have had to forgive some black
• 1:23:04
Speaker 1: person or some person of color. Of that, I am
• 1:23:09
Speaker 1: sure that's got to be a fact, But where as
• 1:23:13
Speaker 1: black people have had to forgive at a disproportionate rate.
• 1:23:20
Speaker 1: That young man's mother said that she was grateful for
• 1:23:23
Speaker 1: the verdict, but the tactics used to try to clear
• 1:23:28
Speaker 1: this officer, these blatant race tactics had to stop. She
• 1:23:33
Speaker 1: was talking about in Dallas. But it ain't just Dallas,
• 1:23:36
Speaker 1: it's nationwide. It just case was just held in Dallas.
• 1:23:41
Speaker 1: So let's be real. Were as black people we have
• 1:23:45
Speaker 1: had to forgive so many times. For so many years,
• 1:23:51
Speaker 1: we've had to forgive. We've had to get over it.
• 1:23:56
Speaker 1: We've had to understand, we didn't had to just go
• 1:23:59
Speaker 1: d or with it. We've had to just let it go.
• 1:24:03
Speaker 1: We've had to just wait on it, wait and see.
• 1:24:07
Speaker 1: We've had to wait while everybody processes it. And here's
• 1:24:11
Speaker 1: my favorite one of all, we've had to be patient. Well,
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: we're tired. We've been tired. As a matter of fact,
• 1:24:22
Speaker 1: we're sick and tired of being sick and time if
• 1:24:25
Speaker 1: you want to know the truth about it now, Look,
• 1:24:28
Speaker 1: I'm not going to do a list of injustices that's happened,
• 1:24:33
Speaker 1: but my closing remarks, we just don't have the much time.
• 1:24:37
Speaker 1: But just let me just say a couple of things.
• 1:24:38
Speaker 1: Didn't a black woman get five years for registering her
• 1:24:42
Speaker 1: child at her daddy's address so the child could go
• 1:24:45
Speaker 1: to a better school. Didn't she get five years? Didn't
• 1:24:49
Speaker 1: a black woman get twenty years for killing her husband
• 1:24:51
Speaker 1: who beat her, Yes, sir, but didn't Felicity Huffman in
• 1:24:56
Speaker 1: the big college cheating scam of the year, she got
• 1:24:59
Speaker 1: four teen days, just two weeks. A woman just wanted
• 1:25:04
Speaker 1: her child to get a batter School. She got five years.
• 1:25:07
Speaker 1: It's three thousand people in prison who got life with
• 1:25:10
Speaker 1: no parole for non violent crimes. Ninety one percent of
• 1:25:14
Speaker 1: the people is black. Here's a fact. If this young
• 1:25:19
Speaker 1: man who died was the police officer in this case,
• 1:25:25
Speaker 1: and the officer who was at home meeting ice cream
• 1:25:30
Speaker 1: was a victim in her apartment ten years oh, you'd
• 1:25:35
Speaker 1: have had another zero on it and a very strong
• 1:25:38
Speaker 1: chance that he would die in prison. Those are my
• 1:25:42
Speaker 1: closing remarks. Y'all, have a great weekend for all. Steve
