- 0:19Speaker 1: me true good it. Steve har listening to move to
- 0:26Speaker 1: other study, I don't join join me to be doing me.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Have you gotta turn hur you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, turn got to turn out to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come, come on your baby at it?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I show will good morning everybody you are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: got one. Hey. You know I thought I think of
- 2:17Speaker 1: my life in terms of blessings. You know, I take
- 2:19Speaker 1: mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to my life.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I hardly ever dweil on you know the what's well.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I can't say that I don't think about the what's
- 2:31Speaker 1: wrong in it because I have to, because I have
- 2:33Speaker 1: to address problems as they arise. But I try not
- 2:37Speaker 1: to let them consume me. I let the consumption part
- 2:41Speaker 1: be about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred
- 2:46Speaker 1: in my life, the good things that God has done
- 2:48Speaker 1: for me, the power that he's displayed in my life,
- 2:52Speaker 1: the protection he's given me over the years to being
- 2:56Speaker 1: tucked under his wings. I focus on the things that
- 3:00Speaker 1: promises me. I think of all all the goodness that
- 3:03Speaker 1: I perceived to come my way. I think that has
- 3:06Speaker 1: a lot to do with me learning more and more
- 3:09Speaker 1: about the law of attraction in terms of you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: what you think and what you put out into space,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and what you pray about is what you receive, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and so I've become better and better at that. It's
- 3:22Speaker 1: not to say that I'm I'm not human and I
- 3:24Speaker 1: don't have moments where I think a little bit too
- 3:28Speaker 1: long about what's going wrong and what enemy is about
- 3:31Speaker 1: to attack and what they're going to do and saying
- 3:34Speaker 1: and all of this is his. That's not to say
- 3:36Speaker 1: that I'm not concerned about it. But I try to
- 3:39Speaker 1: duel mostly on the positive. And one of the things
- 3:42Speaker 1: that I learned, you can have an incredible life, all
- 3:47Speaker 1: of us. We can have incredible lives if we just
- 3:51Speaker 1: let God drive. See. The problem that I had years
- 3:56Speaker 1: ago was I was the driver of my life, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: I was taking myself into directions that I thought would
- 4:04Speaker 1: be best for me, and I aimed at things that
- 4:07Speaker 1: I thought I could accomplish, and I set goals that
- 4:12Speaker 1: I saw myself being able to attain. I was driving
- 4:17Speaker 1: when I gave up and I let God drive. I
- 4:21Speaker 1: then opened up my mind and my spirit to what
- 4:25Speaker 1: God had for me, for what God could see for me,
- 4:30Speaker 1: for what God could do in my life, well, for
- 4:33Speaker 1: what God wanted for me. Now he wanted for me
- 4:38Speaker 1: and he wanted of me. See, that's the connection that
- 4:42Speaker 1: you got to try to make. Well, not try, that's
- 4:45Speaker 1: the connection that you got to make to really get it. Now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: Listen to me. What I don't want you to do
- 4:50Speaker 1: is do like me. Don't be afraid of the what
- 4:53Speaker 1: for of the what he wants you to do part see,
- 4:57Speaker 1: because that ain't gonna be nearly as demanding and as
- 5:00Speaker 1: offsetting as you think it's gonna be. See. I thought
- 5:03Speaker 1: that if I did God's will, that if I let
- 5:06Speaker 1: God tell me what to do, that it would cause
- 5:09Speaker 1: me to not to be able to do a certain
- 5:11Speaker 1: some things I wanted to do well, which is true.
- 5:14Speaker 1: But the stuff I wanted to do was all detrimental
- 5:17Speaker 1: to my well being and my future and my growth
- 5:20Speaker 1: and development as a man. I was stopping my own
- 5:23Speaker 1: growth as a man, because see, I was doing what
- 5:26Speaker 1: I thought I should do as a man. But when
- 5:29Speaker 1: you give it over to God, to God has a
- 5:31Speaker 1: much better plan for you than you can ever have
- 5:33Speaker 1: for yourself. And God knows a better way, far better
- 5:36Speaker 1: than the one you know. I want you to believe that. Man,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you gotta understand that part of it. And that's the
- 5:41Speaker 1: part that I finally got through my head to let
- 5:44Speaker 1: God do it his way and to show me a
- 5:47Speaker 1: better way, and to teach me a better way and
- 5:50Speaker 1: expose to me a better way. And when I opened
- 5:53Speaker 1: up my mind to what God was talking about, I
- 5:56Speaker 1: began to see things totally differently, and things started coming
- 6:01Speaker 1: to me totally differently. If you've been a friend of
- 6:04Speaker 1: mine or a fan of mine over the years, I mean,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you've had to see it, the change. You've had to
- 6:10Speaker 1: see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge that every
- 6:15Speaker 1: chance I get, because I promise God I would, and
- 6:18Speaker 1: I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But then again, if I told it all day long,
- 6:24Speaker 1: would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
- 6:26Speaker 1: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me
- 6:30Speaker 1: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
- 6:34Speaker 1: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
- 6:38Speaker 1: or I'm complete, because I'm still shocked. You can't be him.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:45Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:47Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
- 6:51Speaker 1: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 6:53Speaker 1: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 6:56Speaker 1: of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
- 7:00Speaker 1: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
- 7:03Speaker 1: have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
- 7:05Speaker 1: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See
- 7:08Speaker 1: you got to get that part right, man to stumbling
- 7:10Speaker 1: falling part is coming. But see you get God in
- 7:13Speaker 1: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow,
- 7:18Speaker 1: roll over, laid their languish. That's what God is for.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So when you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong,
- 7:30Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused that's
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to happen to you the moment you make a
- 7:39Speaker 1: decision to do better, the moment you try to be more.
- 7:43Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers man, and he
- 7:46Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people as on his
- 7:50Speaker 1: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:53Speaker 1: met one or two of me in your life. They're
- 7:56Speaker 1: just busy with the business of nothingness. They just busy
- 8:00Speaker 1: about to do about the destruction of others. You said,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I know him, you know him. They coming. But here's
- 8:07Speaker 1: what you got to hold fast too. They can't take
- 8:10Speaker 1: away nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't
- 8:14Speaker 1: make you. See, people who claim to have made you,
- 8:18Speaker 1: if they're so in to make you business, why don't
- 8:21Speaker 1: they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with you no more,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and they're so busy in them I made you business,
- 8:27Speaker 1: why don't they make somebody else? Since since you want
- 8:31Speaker 1: to get credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: responsible for someone else's success, then you should easily be
- 8:40Speaker 1: able to take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:43Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:46Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that I
- 8:50Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God the
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:57Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show. What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours. I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise that you ain't got
- 9:26Speaker 1: twelve minutes to give him out the day. That don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: make no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life
- 9:33Speaker 1: God has given me in exchange for so small of
- 9:36Speaker 1: effort that I put forth. Don't let the effort you
- 9:38Speaker 1: got to put forth to God seems so dawning that
- 9:40Speaker 1: you don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems
- 9:43Speaker 1: like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what
- 9:45Speaker 1: he'd be given us for real. So if you want
- 9:47Speaker 1: a real life, you want a real shot at what
- 9:49Speaker 1: you can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you can become who you really are. Go to God.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening. Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It is time. Steve Harvey Morning Show is
- 10:09Speaker 1: on cracking. It's moaning time, ladies and gentlemen with four

- 10:46Speaker 1: ain't the top of the morning, Uncle Steve. Shirley Caller

- 11:01Speaker 1: I phone us I forgot. Yeah. But it's such a
- 11:06Speaker 1: slick thing now because all you got to do to
- 11:08Speaker 1: sink your phone up is laid next to your old
- 11:12Speaker 1: phone and go through and hit the buttons. Yeah, it
- 11:15Speaker 1: sinks up right next to each other. That's pretty Did
- 11:18Speaker 1: you do it? Huh? It looked easy though, Let me
- 11:25Speaker 1: you didn't even do it? Hell no, let me ask
- 11:28Speaker 1: you something. So if I had an iPhone and lady
- 11:32Speaker 1: next to my wife, Yeah, hell, let's go ahead. I'm
- 11:38Speaker 1: just going along with this eaveness. Yeah, yeah, sink car
- 11:42Speaker 1: right on up? Yeah yeah, both of them. Phone getting
- 11:47Speaker 1: thrown after window. Why we drive? I'm talking about dogs.

- 12:04Speaker 1: his cell phone tape to his thigh? What's wrong with
- 12:07Speaker 1: the phone on a rope? What's wrong? But you say,
- 12:11Speaker 1: tim me right there next to the soap. I don't

- 12:47Speaker 1: Please don't swipe sad that's bad, man, got bad? Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I had a friend of mine who wife got his phone,
- 13:02Speaker 1: huh and said, give me your cold. He looked at us,
- 13:06Speaker 1: said I can't do that, and she said, no, for real,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I'm serious, give me your cold. He said, I can't
- 13:17Speaker 1: do that. She said, do you have something to have?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Something to hide? He said, no, I can't give you
- 13:24Speaker 1: that cold, though. You got that right? All right? Listen,
- 13:32Speaker 1: coming up steven thirty two after the hour. Our girl

- 16:20Speaker 1: or gronkle Gron had made a statue of Steve, you know,
- 16:29Speaker 1: made out of the little kiddy blocks legged blocks. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: what is the legos lego? No, the one the statues
- 16:40Speaker 1: of Steve, the little the little brown block. You know,
- 16:44Speaker 1: Lincoln law, it's Lincoln law. But they was brown when
- 16:49Speaker 1: I was going up, I didn't win a card making
- 16:51Speaker 1: brown lego been white people. And I've seen that big
- 16:58Speaker 1: white man bus that statue are gonna run up there
- 17:00Speaker 1: and putting my walker in his like. I couldn't believe it.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I said, I know this big Honory can't set up

- 17:13Speaker 1: man statue? Oh look, you know? Good? Sorry, big stupid
- 17:20Speaker 1: looking Steve looked at him, you know. And then I
- 17:22Speaker 1: had to catch myself. I said, well, you know, I
- 17:26Speaker 1: don't think magic gonna let him put that in his house.
- 17:30Speaker 1: No house. I went on and got on. I don't
- 17:34Speaker 1: do resolutions. Oh okay, what do I do? Oh? Faith walks?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Oh yes, man, I am. I've been around long time.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm full of faith. It's it's what it is. It's
- 17:46Speaker 1: gonna be what I what I says, it is Lord

- 17:55Speaker 1: I mean what I need? I got everything. What I need?
- 17:58Speaker 1: A resolution? My only resolution to get twenty twenty one. Yes, ma'am,
- 18:05Speaker 1: you know I got your secret, sister down. What's the secret? Well,
- 18:09Speaker 1: you know, living alone life, Yeah, you know, eating as
- 18:13Speaker 1: good as you can. But every nine you need some pie,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you know, and you need a piece of pie. I
- 18:20Speaker 1: don't gotta keep you know, you know, you know, depriving
- 18:23Speaker 1: yourself kills and a lot of people. You know, you
- 18:27Speaker 1: gotta have moments of happiness or a piece of pie
- 18:30Speaker 1: every nine. Then you know how they say apple keep
- 18:32Speaker 1: the doctor away. Yes, ma'am, that ain't true. That is
- 18:36Speaker 1: not true. Oh it's not you know how many apples?

- 18:55Speaker 1: and got every illness you can have. You eat pies
- 18:58Speaker 1: and you just fine. She eating peat and cheating pills
- 19:01Speaker 1: like she is vegetable and on a night stand. If
- 19:07Speaker 1: they put them pills in color, she have or produced that.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But you're praying for every day right now now now
- 19:19Speaker 1: she's ninety six. Why would I would I pray for? Well,
- 19:24Speaker 1: the little a little longer. Ninety six is a good run.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You ready for the goal. I ain't ready for the goal.
- 19:30Speaker 1: But if she ain't praying to stay here, what if
- 19:32Speaker 1: I'm wasting mine? Did you have a funny way of
- 19:38Speaker 1: looking like I ain't. I don't try to pray for you.
- 19:40Speaker 1: If you don't pray for yourself, you're ninety six. If
- 19:43Speaker 1: you tire to being here, well I just called to
- 19:45Speaker 1: the funeral. Well, pray for yourself. You know what I mean.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Let's let's keep it real now, keep it a hunting.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Pray for yourself for a hundred, for more years, for
- 19:58Speaker 1: more years. She'll be oh years done at Trump. Oh
- 20:02Speaker 1: he's well, let's hope. Let's not hope for that. Yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 1: And you know we the black people ain't gonna get
- 20:08Speaker 1: out and vote right, you know the time they voted right,
- 20:11Speaker 1: Obama is running. It ain't voted. Sense, what do you
- 20:13Speaker 1: think we can do to rally them up to get out?
- 20:15Speaker 1: And yeah, because we might be going to wars, sister otell,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm not going, no, West, We not you personally. Now

- 29:17Speaker 1: a few other motorists jumped out of their cars to
- 29:20Speaker 1: help the lady. The helpers managed to stop traffic and
- 29:23Speaker 1: waited with her until an amulance. Amulance arrived. Word has
- 29:27Speaker 1: it that she was diabetic and fainted in the sidewalk.

- 30:30Speaker 1: pitch man too. You see him on all the commercials.
- 30:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Though, he's more than the pitch man. Yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 1: he just pitches. No, man, this dude is a business mogul.

- 31:37Speaker 1: And it was like, no, we're gonna try. I was like,
- 31:38Speaker 1: all right, Boss, Frank Shack, we can try that. I
- 31:42Speaker 1: called Shack and told him I was with Seanne now,
- 31:45Speaker 1: and I don't want you coming back here picking up
- 31:48Speaker 1: the kids at the house. You're gonna be confusing them.

- 32:56Speaker 1: do to And Shanny's way t than you, Temmy. I'm
- 33:01Speaker 1: just putting that out. Oh shut up, Oh boy, all right,
- 33:14Speaker 1: coming up next, um, Steve, let's go to headlines. Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thank you, Steve. Thanks everybody.
- 33:22Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. The US Pentagon
- 33:25Speaker 1: says that Iranian forces launched fifteen ballistic missiles against two
- 33:29Speaker 1: military bases in Iraq yesterday, evening bases where American military
- 33:33Speaker 1: men and women are are stationed. Yesterday's attack marks the
- 33:36Speaker 1: most significant Iranian attack in what is now a growing
- 33:39Speaker 1: conflict between the United States and Iran. President Trump tweets
- 33:43Speaker 1: at quote all as well that there were no American casualties.
- 33:46Speaker 1: He's promising to address the nation later on this morning.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Iron's actions follow, of course, last Friday's drone attack that
- 33:52Speaker 1: killed their very popular military general because seems solomony, and
- 33:55Speaker 1: also it follows the threat issued directly yesterday from the
- 33:58Speaker 1: White House. I Iran does anything that they shouldn't be doing,
- 34:03Speaker 1: They're going to be suffering the consequences, and very strongly.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Iran's foreign minister says General Solimani was an Iraq on
- 34:09Speaker 1: a diplomatic mission when the President ordered him killed, and
- 34:12Speaker 1: that he's now going to end all talks about prisoner
- 34:14Speaker 1: exchanges between Iran and the US. However, the Trump administrations
- 34:17Speaker 1: defending its actions, saying Solomoni was in Baghdad planning an
- 34:21Speaker 1: attack on Americans. Secretary State My Pompeo says that's the
- 34:24Speaker 1: only reason he could have been there. Is there any
- 34:26Speaker 1: history that would indicate that it was remotely possible that
- 34:28Speaker 1: this kind gentleman, this diplomat of great order, Kasam Sulimani,
- 34:33Speaker 1: had traveled to Baghdad for the idea of conducting a
- 34:35Speaker 1: peace mission because he was being sarcastic there. However, Iraq's
- 34:39Speaker 1: Prime minister insists that he was trying to mediate things
- 34:41Speaker 1: between the Saudis and the Persians, and that the general
- 34:44Speaker 1: was in Baghdad to negotiate for the Iranians. Pompeyo claims
- 34:47Speaker 1: the Saudis told him that Solimani was not interact to
- 34:51Speaker 1: work on any peace degree. Meanwhile, Iranian officials on the
- 34:53Speaker 1: scene of a deadly plane crash in the capital of
- 34:56Speaker 1: Tehran that was a Ukrainian jetliner and all one hundreds
- 35:00Speaker 1: seventy six people aboard were killed. No Americans on board.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Both the Iranian and Ukrainian officials now say the crash
- 35:06Speaker 1: was most likely due to engine failure. They do have
- 35:08Speaker 1: the black box, so we will see. Situation in Iran,
- 35:11Speaker 1: where many are calling for revenge, is prone to the
- 35:12Speaker 1: US State Department to issue security alerts for Americans in
- 35:16Speaker 1: a bunch of countries inside and outside the Middle East.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Facebook says it's barring what are called deep fake videos
- 35:22Speaker 1: in a campaign to get rid of fabricated online clips
- 35:24Speaker 1: that look real because of artificial intelligence and stuff. In Washington,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell says he can count on
- 35:31Speaker 1: enough Republican votes to approve the basic rules needed to
- 35:34Speaker 1: officially start the Senate impeachment trial without the help of
- 35:37Speaker 1: any Democrats. For the second time in less than a week,
- 35:39Speaker 1: a powerful earthquake rattle Puerto Rico. Yesterday one person in
- 35:42Speaker 1: the town of Pusse was killed. Finally, today they're on
- 35:46Speaker 1: an up note. Today's national bubble bath day Bubbles. Now
- 35:53Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Comedian George Lopez. He is a friend
- 36:01Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, he's caught the
- 36:05Speaker 1: attention of the Secret Service. Oh. Over the weekend, an
- 36:09Speaker 1: Iranian official eulogizing slain military general Cassim Salamani reportedly put
- 36:16Speaker 1: an eighty million dollar bounty on Donald Trump's head. I
- 36:19Speaker 1: think Steve you mentioned this even yesterday, George Lopez commented
- 36:23Speaker 1: on an Instagram post. We'll do it for half. Lopez's comment,
- 36:28Speaker 1: he immediately came under fire, with many saying it should
- 36:31Speaker 1: be considered a threat against the president. And it's been
- 36:35Speaker 1: brought to the brought to the attention of the Secret Service,
- 36:38Speaker 1: which is now looking into the matter. Okay. According to TMZ,
- 36:43Speaker 1: George Lopez could expect a visit from federal agents to
- 36:46Speaker 1: discuss whether he was threatening the president or just making
- 36:50Speaker 1: a bad Joe you can't do you know, you remember
- 36:57Speaker 1: Kathy Griffin, Yeah, when she had his head off on
- 37:02Speaker 1: that joke. They're not doing that no more. They're not
- 37:05Speaker 1: doing that. They're not doing that no more. Fellas. So, brothers,
- 37:08Speaker 1: be conscious of this stuff right here. Plus, you gotta
- 37:12Speaker 1: understand man, they're protecting this man. Ye at all costs.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Jokes are no jokes. They taken all that serious, man,
- 37:21Speaker 1: they're taking people's careers. Kathy Griffin is out of the business.
- 37:25Speaker 1: You ain't heard nothing from Kathy Griffin. They took her
- 37:28Speaker 1: off the New Year's Eve thing she was on with Anderson.
- 37:32Speaker 1: You ain't heard from her, man, They don't. They don't
- 37:37Speaker 1: play that, man, y'all, y'all got to watch these jokes.
- 37:40Speaker 1: You can't play with this one right here now, with
- 37:42Speaker 1: this dude, no sir, red because especially if he hear
- 37:46Speaker 1: about it that he makes a phone call. Hey, get
- 37:48Speaker 1: on this. They got the goal. He doesn't have a
- 37:50Speaker 1: sense of humor. No man, no, no, no, man, this
- 37:53Speaker 1: dude is real. Y'all got to be careful. Many secret
- 37:57Speaker 1: service pay about that. They didn't see it, all of it.
- 37:59Speaker 1: And he's been attention more to social media than he
- 38:01Speaker 1: is to work. So yeah, because every day it's all
- 38:05Speaker 1: he's watching, is that right there? Yeah? And then if
- 38:08Speaker 1: you comment on it on Instagra, yeah absolutely, yeah. Yeah,
- 38:18Speaker 1: but once you say that, I'll do it for half,
- 38:22Speaker 1: you know, come on, man, you got to be come
- 38:24Speaker 1: on now. Yeah, I be very careful and can we
- 38:27Speaker 1: just pray for our troops right now with the crisis
- 38:30Speaker 1: and middle easy serious and prayers. Yeah, it really, really,
- 38:35Speaker 1: really is. They've been deployed over there and I had
- 38:39Speaker 1: to leave their families and all of that. All right,
- 38:42Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Rapper
- 38:45Speaker 1: the Baby and Lizzo are sick of social media right now.
- 38:49Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this you're listening to
- 38:54Speaker 1: all right. So Lizzo has apparently had enough of trolls
- 38:58Speaker 1: on Twitter. She reached her breaking point over the weekend
- 39:02Speaker 1: and announced that she's taking a break from the social
- 39:05Speaker 1: media site. She says, Yeah, I can't do this Twitter,
- 39:09Speaker 1: sugar honey, ikes tea anymore. Too many trolls. She wrote,
- 39:13Speaker 1: I'll be back when I feel like it. Also, Rapper
- 39:15Speaker 1: to Baby posted if social media wasn't such a lucrative
- 39:19Speaker 1: tool in business that I'm in, I wouldn't be on it.
- 39:23Speaker 1: He went on to say, Lost Souls Influenced by Lost
- 39:26Speaker 1: Souls the Baby posted an encouraging message for people to
- 39:29Speaker 1: find themselves without false without a false sense of security
- 39:33Speaker 1: from the internet. Wow, that's that's really that's yeah, that's
- 39:40Speaker 1: a great thought, man. Yeah, it's so sad that this
- 39:44Speaker 1: has become the devil's playground because you know, social media
- 39:47Speaker 1: can be such a great positive thing. I choose to
- 39:52Speaker 1: only do positive stuff. If I'm not doing a little
- 39:55Speaker 1: animated character, funny stuff, I'm trying to do release motivational
- 39:59Speaker 1: series to motivate people. That's it. I'm not going on
- 40:02Speaker 1: their dog and nobody talking about what they ought to
- 40:05Speaker 1: do to somebody who they think there is. I don't
- 40:08Speaker 1: even have time for that. I really don't, man. And
- 40:12Speaker 1: it's sad how many people take the time out of
- 40:16Speaker 1: their day that they could be doing something positive to
- 40:20Speaker 1: spend the time when negative. And then the other flip
- 40:22Speaker 1: side to that is what the average person does not
- 40:25Speaker 1: seem to get through their head, is you reap what
- 40:28Speaker 1: you sold? See yeah, yeah, this go come back. And
- 40:32Speaker 1: because it's the law of attraction. Now, when something happens
- 40:37Speaker 1: to a person that's negative or bad, that doesn't necessarily
- 40:40Speaker 1: mean they're reaping something. See that's the other part. People
- 40:44Speaker 1: think that if you have a mishap or a misstep
- 40:47Speaker 1: in your life, it's some form of punishment. No, it's life. No,
- 40:52Speaker 1: that's all it is. Bad things happen to good people
- 40:57Speaker 1: all the time, all the time, because we are human
- 41:01Speaker 1: and we are subject to life, and we are human,
- 41:04Speaker 1: and that that's called circumstances. But circumstances does not determine
- 41:09Speaker 1: who the person is. That's just the current situation they
- 41:12Speaker 1: find themselves in. If you keep walking, you're gonna be
- 41:16Speaker 1: on the other side of it, just like you have
- 41:19Speaker 1: every other thing that's happened to you, when you flunked
- 41:21Speaker 1: out of school, when you when you lost your loved ones,
- 41:25Speaker 1: when you got divorced, when your job closed, when you
- 41:29Speaker 1: when you, when you, when you when when you were
- 41:31Speaker 1: told you weren't gonna ever gonna make it. You've gotten
- 41:34Speaker 1: past all of those things, and you'll get past the
- 41:38Speaker 1: new stuff too. But they seem to think that when
- 41:42Speaker 1: something happens to you that that's all nicey Nah, he
- 41:45Speaker 1: get that nine nine and that nah. Man, keep watching
- 41:49Speaker 1: the movie. Ye keep watching this movie, man, This movie's
- 41:56Speaker 1: aren't going Yeah. What about when they take a TV show,
- 42:02Speaker 1: rob you know what, You keep watching the movie, you
- 42:12Speaker 1: might look up and discover that your TV show that
- 42:15Speaker 1: they took from you, that was national, has been replaced
- 42:19Speaker 1: with a TV show that's global. I had more viewers
- 42:25Speaker 1: on January sixth of one clip that my entire TV
- 42:30Speaker 1: audience for a week look at God. So now you
- 42:35Speaker 1: went one more time, Steve, say that one more time.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I have more people who looked at let me tell
- 42:41Speaker 1: you the truth two clips. Two clips from the show
- 42:45Speaker 1: was viewed on Facebook on Monday than the total viewership
- 42:50Speaker 1: of my talk show on TV for a week. Wow
- 42:55Speaker 1: at God's Wow. Look man, so you I went from
- 43:00Speaker 1: national to international and ain't lost a beat the movie
- 43:06Speaker 1: ain't oval That's right, That's right, You've still been winning
- 43:15Speaker 1: all this time. I mean Jesus. Yeah, everybody, we come back.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you something about how good God really? Okay,
- 43:25Speaker 1: I'll tell him. I know what you done. Do you
- 43:27Speaker 1: want to save it for closing? You want to say
- 43:30Speaker 1: it right now? You want to save it for closing?
- 43:32Speaker 1: This sounds like a closing remark, Steve, He really does. Yeah,
- 43:39Speaker 1: keep doing it all right? Coming up next, Nephew Tommy
- 43:43Speaker 1: is here with today's praying phone call. That's right after this.
- 43:47Speaker 1: You're listening, all right. Coming up at the top of
- 43:52Speaker 1: the hour, guys, about four minutes after. To be exact,
- 43:55Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today's subject. I have bums
- 43:59Speaker 1: living with me? Bums living with me. We'll get into
- 44:06Speaker 1: that right now. Nephew in the building with today's prank
- 44:09Speaker 1: phone call? What you got for us? It's twenty twenty, Shirley,
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yes it is, sir. I got that dp C A
- 44:15Speaker 1: What is that? Dp CA? Do people can emo? No?
- 44:21Speaker 1: I like that though, DPCA. That's a dead person da
- 44:26Speaker 1: Collection Agency. Twenty twenty could be your year, twenty twenty
- 44:30Speaker 1: the year baby. I'm going in with it hard though,
- 44:32Speaker 1: dp See Carlin, did you hear what I said? I said,
- 44:35Speaker 1: dp C? How your nephew? Come on? Dead Person Collection Agency?
- 44:40Speaker 1: Come on, cat dog, let's go but brand new twenty twenty.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Come on man. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Darrel
- 44:47Speaker 1: police Z Darrel. This is uh Tony with DPCA. We
- 44:52Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call. How are you doing today? Uh? Well,
- 44:56Speaker 1: what's what's the company? Uh? DPC eight? What do that mean? Uh?
- 45:01Speaker 1: DPCA is a dead Person Collection Agency. We actually collect
- 45:07Speaker 1: money from those that have been, that have that are deceased,
- 45:10Speaker 1: but people still owe them. Have you familiar with um
- 45:14Speaker 1: Carlton who passed away six months ago? I know him, Yes,
- 45:19Speaker 1: he could do. But what do you want from me though. Okay,
- 45:23Speaker 1: it's been brought out understanding that you actually owed mister
- 45:27Speaker 1: Carlton Fisher twelve hundred dollars. Is that correct? Nah? Nah,
- 45:31Speaker 1: we're talking about nah? Okay, So how how though, as
- 45:37Speaker 1: mister okay, let me let me get this. Let me
- 45:39Speaker 1: need a clear understanding here you actually worked with mister
- 45:43Speaker 1: Carlton Fisher, correct fact? Yeah? That right? Yes, okay, So
- 45:48Speaker 1: have you borrowed money from mister Carlton Fisher before? Why
- 45:52Speaker 1: you asking though? I'm asking you a clear question, sir,
- 45:55Speaker 1: have you borrowed money from mister Carlton Fisher before? I
- 45:59Speaker 1: don't feel like I chance though today? Your business though?
- 46:03Speaker 1: Oh no, it is my business because I'm with the
- 46:05Speaker 1: collection agency and it's been brought to our attention that
- 46:10Speaker 1: you owe twelve hundred dollars to him. I don't know
- 46:12Speaker 1: what you talk about, and you didn't even send me
- 46:14Speaker 1: no letter, so I don't even know what's going on.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I'll repeat myself again, Sir, my name is Tony. You
- 46:20Speaker 1: send me a letter, though, you send me a letter,
- 46:22Speaker 1: send me a letter though I haven't sent you a letter.

- 46:29Speaker 1: you owe this money to mister Pisher. I see, I'll understay.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I don't understand. You didn't send me no letter though,
- 46:34Speaker 1: and then you're gonna call me though, definitely no sense. Okay.
- 46:38Speaker 1: So here's the deal, sir. If you don't play the twelvehinder,
- 46:40Speaker 1: we will come and take something. We will confiscate something
- 46:43Speaker 1: of the same value. So I'm letting you know send

- 47:21Speaker 1: let you know that we will come and compensate something
- 47:24Speaker 1: of the same value. Well, I let you know, but
- 47:27Speaker 1: I'll let you know first though. You cannot do anything
- 47:29Speaker 1: without sending a letter. You did not send me no

- 54:07Speaker 1: it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I have bombs living with me, Dear Stephen Shirley. My
- 54:13Speaker 1: friend called me one night saying her house got shot
- 54:16Speaker 1: up and she was coming to my house with her kids. Yeah,
- 54:19Speaker 1: her house got shot up and she was coming to
- 54:21Speaker 1: my house with her kids. I didn't question her, ask
- 54:24Speaker 1: her how long she was planning to stay. I just
- 54:26Speaker 1: told her to come over with her three kids. My
- 54:29Speaker 1: son and I have a two bedroom apartment, so we
- 54:32Speaker 1: moved some things around so my friend could have some space.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Three days later, my friend asked if her baby daddy
- 54:39Speaker 1: and his mother could come stay at my house because
- 54:42Speaker 1: they were all homeless since someone fired thirty two shots
- 54:46Speaker 1: into the house. I told her that it was fine.
- 54:49Speaker 1: My friend, Yeah, thirty two shots into the house. I
- 54:54Speaker 1: told her that it was fine. My friend gave me
- 54:57Speaker 1: one hundred dollars for the first week. I have extra
- 55:01Speaker 1: adults and children at my house and one hundred dollars
- 55:04Speaker 1: is not enough to cover food, toiletries, and my utilities.
- 55:08Speaker 1: The next week, her baby daddy's mother gave me an
- 55:12Speaker 1: additional forty dollars, and I went off on her and
- 55:15Speaker 1: told her that it was not enough money. I told
- 55:18Speaker 1: her they needed a plan or a timeline to leave
- 55:21Speaker 1: my apartment. The woman told me that I needed to
- 55:24Speaker 1: talk to my friend. Before I got a chance to
- 55:26Speaker 1: talk to my friend, the woman told my friend that
- 55:29Speaker 1: I want them out of my house. My friend called
- 55:32Speaker 1: me and cursed me out for not being supportive during
- 55:34Speaker 1: her time of need. I could not believe she had
- 55:37Speaker 1: the nerve to think I was wrong. Now there is
- 55:41Speaker 1: tension in my home and I have to keep asking
- 55:43Speaker 1: these freeloaders for money, and my friend's son is a
- 55:46Speaker 1: bully and he's always fighting my son. I told my
- 55:50Speaker 1: friend that she, the kids, her baby daddy, and his
- 55:53Speaker 1: mama will have to find somewhere to go. She told
- 55:57Speaker 1: me if I put her out, our friendship is over.
- 56:01Speaker 1: I have to admit she's had my back in a
- 56:03Speaker 1: lot a lot in the past, and she's helped me
- 56:05Speaker 1: out financially. But this is ridiculous and I want them out.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I value our friendship and hate that she gave me
- 56:12Speaker 1: an ultimatum. How should I handle this? Please advise? Well,
- 56:16Speaker 1: it kind of sounds like you handled it already. You
- 56:19Speaker 1: told her that she wanted her out, and that sounds
- 56:24Speaker 1: like it's handled to me. The friendship is over according
- 56:27Speaker 1: to your friend, though. I mean, but that is a
- 56:30Speaker 1: lot a lot of people in a two bedroom apartment.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Let's count them. It's you got your friend, her three kids,
- 56:38Speaker 1: that's four. You got the baby daddy, that's five. You
- 56:40Speaker 1: got the baby daddy's mama. That's six people. And then
- 56:44Speaker 1: it's you and your son. That's a lot of people
- 56:47Speaker 1: in a two bedroom apartment. I mean, I'm all for
- 56:50Speaker 1: helping friends. I'm all for helping friends, especially when they're
- 56:54Speaker 1: in need, but this is really an inconvenience for you
- 56:58Speaker 1: and the baby daddy and the mama though. That's the part.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I mean. This man should be trying to make a
- 57:05Speaker 1: way for his family and not laying up on you
- 57:09Speaker 1: like this with his mama. I don't get that. And
- 57:13Speaker 1: you're upset about one hundred dollars and forty additional dollars.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I think you should have told her right then and
- 57:18Speaker 1: there that it wasn't enough. But my question is did
- 57:21Speaker 1: she have it? I mean, she had to leave her
- 57:23Speaker 1: house and all of that, so does she have it?
- 57:25Speaker 1: You know? I mean, you guys are supposed to be friends,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and you said that she helped you out in the paths.
- 57:30Speaker 1: So this friendship thing, I mean, you know, that's the
- 57:32Speaker 1: quickest way to end a friendship when you live together.
- 57:35Speaker 1: But I think she did take advantage of the situation
- 57:38Speaker 1: when when she invited her grown baby, daddy and the
- 57:42Speaker 1: mama in to live with you guys. So I mean,
- 57:45Speaker 1: you know, it's your house. You don't want to be
- 57:47Speaker 1: uncomfortable and under your own roof for anything like that.
- 57:51Speaker 1: So um, she said she's going. So again, I think
- 57:54Speaker 1: the problem's been handled. The friendship now is a different situation.
- 57:58Speaker 1: You gotta hand you guys, got to work that out.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Steve Well, I have a different opinion about this damn level.
- 58:08Speaker 1: And it's what I do right here, ain't. I ain't
- 58:10Speaker 1: gonna players rein their game with y'all. No, No, let's
- 58:14Speaker 1: gonna let's gonna get this letter up. Well, I could
- 58:17Speaker 1: look at it good. Oh. My friend called me one
- 58:21Speaker 1: night saying that her house got shot up and she
- 58:26Speaker 1: was coming to my house with her kids. I didn't
- 58:29Speaker 1: question her. What let's stop, let's stop this damn nudder
- 58:35Speaker 1: right here. My friend called me one night said her
- 58:40Speaker 1: house got shot up and she was coming to my
- 58:43Speaker 1: house with her quids. I didn't question her. What the
- 58:48Speaker 1: first damn thing? I want to know? What did you
- 58:52Speaker 1: just say? My house got shot up? Your house? What
- 58:57Speaker 1: you mean it got shot up? Girl? It got shot up?
- 59:02Speaker 1: Why so she was coming to my house with a kid. No,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you're not, No, no, I damn Why did your house
- 59:11Speaker 1: get shot up? It has anybody been arrested for the shooting?
- 59:20Speaker 1: The here? You mean you're coming over here? I did
- 59:23Speaker 1: not question her first damn thing. When you called Steve, say, dog,
- 59:29Speaker 1: a man, what's happening. My house just got shot up?
- 59:32Speaker 1: Click click Steve, huh dog, it's me, huh huh. What
- 59:40Speaker 1: was happening? Dog? My house got shot up? Click hold that,
- 59:45Speaker 1: hold that click, no time for this in my life.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Hold it, hold it. Oh, no, nobody to get the
- 59:50Speaker 1: house shot up? No more, no more. Okay, we'll have
- 59:54Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three
- 59:56Speaker 1: minutes after the hour U I'm living with some bumbs.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I have bums living with me is the subject of
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: all right, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. Steve the s
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: recap I have bums living. We didn't even had chance
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to get in to it. A lady called her girlfriend
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: one night with her three kids and saying, can I
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: come over? My house just got shot up. I did
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: not question her, be damned, first thing I want to know,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: it's whole house got shot up? And what is you
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: coming over here? Fall? Has anybody been arrested? None of
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: them questions? So I didn't question her, ask her how
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: long she was playing in the state. I just told
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: her come on over with three kids. My son and
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I got a two bedroom department, so we moved some
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: things around so my friend could have some space. Three
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: days later, my friend asked if her baby, his daddy
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: and his damn mama could come stay at my house.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Hell no, hell no, you're rage ass baby. Daddy can't
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: come to my house and it's fat ass mama. Hell now,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: what is we're doing now? You already got the three
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: kids over here. Now you've been the brain. Your bumbass
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: baby daddy and his mabby hell Na, y'all can't come
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: over here. But guess what you did that too? And
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: then guess what you do said that the baby daddy
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: in the moment that they could come stay in the
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: house because they was homeless. Since somebody five thirty two
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: shots in today house, what it's some more damn shooting,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: gets two shooting? Your house got shot up. Now they
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: don't went over there looking for you and them damn kids,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: and theyn't shot thirty two more shots into his and
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: your baby daddy housing. This fat ass. Now they finned
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: come over here. They finned come over there with all
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: them shooting fatty two shots. Ain't nobody's shot. Well, it's
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: gonna be easy next time because the house is crowded.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: But they don't miss everybody next time. That's why. Now
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: you ain't your fat mama ain't coming over my damn house.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: But oh no, you're a Christian, so here you go.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: You let them in. I see Christianity, man, Sometimes Christianity
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: just go too damn far, oh boy, And this is
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the case of just being an extra Christian. My friend
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: gave me one hundred dollars for the first week I
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: got extra adults and children at my house, and a
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: hundred dollars ain't enough to cover food, torn trees, and
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: my utility. The next week, her baby daddy with his
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: broke ass, gave me an additional farted dollars, and I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: went off on her. You should have took that farted
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: dollars anyway, told him it was not enough money. I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: told her they needed for playing for timeline to leave
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: my Probably, I don't need no timeline. Y'all ass out now,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: But see you as me, that wouldn't have been over there.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: You're super Christian, so here you go. Before I got
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: a chance to talk to my friend, a woman told
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: my friend I want him out of my house. My
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: friend called me and custom me out for not being
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: supportive doing her time. Custom me out. You're calling me,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: cussing me out. You're the want to bought your ragged
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: ass family over here. If you're all you got two
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: holes and shot up seventy five bullets fired, ain't nobody
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: dead and now you have brought all the begging ass
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: people over my house. With farted dollars and a hunting
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and miss me with that. I tell you what, y'all
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: do you fitting get cussed right back out? Not as
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: tension in my house. You're damn right. You ain't on
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the gunman to come back. You're damn right. It tens over.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: That's a loose gunman that's shooting up housing. As soon
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: as he finding that dads over that he fitted come over.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: That s if you're damn right, it's tension. It's just
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: a project. Best sitting up in here, man, This tension
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to my house, and how to keep asking these freeloaders
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: for money? And my friend's son is a bullet. He
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: got a lot of nerve, he got nu he over
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: there jumping on your boy. You ain't jump on nobody
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: when they were shooting them damn bullets in that damn her.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Where was your big bullet? Punk ass that? Then? Now
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: you didn't hit jumping on my baby because you're tired
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: of getting shots fired at. You should have stopped that gunman. No, Shirley,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: you took the little little neat, dampy and all that.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: It ain't none of that in this They well you
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: usually do. So I don't want to hear. I told
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: my damn friend and her and her kids, who fucking
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: babies dad in your fat mammy? Got to find somewhere else, mammy.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: She told me. If I put her out, our friendship
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: be friendship. Friends wouldn't have bought all him brought that
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: gun into my house. You finna get your house shot up?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: What kind of the friend draws fire to your house?
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Y'all ain't friends. Friendship was over when she bought up
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: a big and baby daddy over there in her fat mama.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: There was no mention in the letter about his mother's weight.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: If one hundred dollars don't feed you, why you think
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: that if she were skinny we could all eat off
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: for this hundred. Put somebody big ass sitting down, sucking
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: down seventy dollars worth, and I want them out. I'll
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: vale y'all friendship, And I hate that she gave me
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: a how should out hand? He ain't got no friend,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You got trouble. And I'm gonna tell you something. Your
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: house ain't the house no more. It's a homeless shield
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: by y'all. Remember the debt? Yeah all right, Steve, we
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: got it. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter and
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM on Instagram. You got Tent City and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: demand now coming up at forty six after the hour.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Tell me something good, good news for you're listening to
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: all right, I mean we got to talk about the
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: outrage over President's tweet last night. I don't understand it,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: but then again we do, right because of who he is. Um, Steve,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: the statement was something like this or his tweet, I
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: should say, um, all is well. Missiles launched from Iran
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: at two military bases located in a rock. Assessment of
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: casualties and damages taking place now, So far, so good.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: in the world by far. What what? How do you
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: say that as a statement the president last three years.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I've been surprised because because every time it becomes more
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and more outrageous, it's like, is there no limits? There
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: is what he will do? Well? You know, I do understand.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from, Tommy. I understand where
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: the girls are coming from from, the ladies are coming from.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Um yeah, um, because you get stunned, but you go
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: like Okay, but this instance though, the severity of this instant, Yeah,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: that's maybe you can grasp this that this ain't the
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: appropriate time. But why are you tweeting? That's No president
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: has made a statement about war on social media before,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: or on on on anything else for that matter. Yeah,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you know, and I don't. I don't even know where
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: he was trying to come from with all a will
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: was he saying? Was he trying to say that because
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: he didn't so far the assessment was no casualties. Yeah,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: when he put it out last night, they were assessing
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: the casualties and damages. But for him to even say
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: that in such a serious situation and time, you are
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the president tweeting. Yeah, you're tweeting and saying stuff you
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: don't know yet. Yeah, you have no idea, But how
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: do you all well, and with missiles and innocent people
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: and lies troops, and how do you say that anyway?
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Family members you know, concerned about you know, their family
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: members who have been deployed. I mean, come on, all
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: is well, so far, so good? Really, mister president, Ain't
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I'm how you say that. I'm just talking about because
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you know Tommy, Tommy, and I understand where you're coming
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: from I do, I mean, I get it. Yeah, this
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: is what he said. All is well. This was launched
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: from Iran A two military bases located in the rank
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: assessment and casualties and damage. He's taken place now So far,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: so good. We're the most powerful and will equipped mimentary
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: in the world by far. I'll be making the statement
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: tomorrow morning, meaning today. Yeah, you could have waited any
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: other president if it does not affect him. He does
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: not care because your baby ain't older, because his kids
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: are not over there. He's never served, he's never served,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: he's never served military. All of that will be back.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, guys. So New Year's Resolution Survey. Okay,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: that's what we're talking about right now. According to a
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: new survey, the second Friday in January is when most
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: of us quit our resolutions. No my January sick me.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I said, no, me bit a piece of chicken January
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: sec as soon as pop I opened up. I did
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: that on first body. So that's Friday, January tenth. Also
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: listen to this, that's this coming Friday. Sixty eight percent
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: of people feel so overwhelmed keeping their fitness goals that
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: they'd rather just avoid starting them altogether. And there are
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a lot of things that people are willing to do
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: instantly to instantly achieve their fitness goals instead of working out,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Like listen to some of these Uh, they want to
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: only eat plain oatmeal for every meal for one year.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: They'd rather do that for a whole year. A whole year,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: just plain oatmeal. Just rather do that. These are people
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: then work out than do a fitness team. Oh no,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: work out because they're not go eat some plain oatmeal.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: You have no idea what that he is? Yeah, yes, Musha,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: you would rather eat plane. Didn't work out? Oh no,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you've got to be kidding me. Can even workout at
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: least after that you can have a steak and vegetables
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: or some fishing vegetable. But you're gonna sit around and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: just not do nothing and see playing breakfast. I don't
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: want to be there. Hold on, hold on, but then
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: let me explain something. What do you know what you're
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: gonna look like when all your food is just open.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: You're gonna look like that? Damn over, what do you
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: look like? Do you have any idea what you're gonna Wait?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: If you just eat just out do you understand that
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: horses eat. Okay, this is something else they rather do
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: than work out what shave their head rather than workout,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: rather than that's stupid it right there, didn't work out
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: any damn days. But you know what, when you're first
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: getting into shaving, you here, some people don't know what
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: they're doing and peeking and cut their Yeah, cut the dog.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I know people that take thirty minutes to shave the head. Yeah.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: How long does it should it take? It depends on
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: how the size of your head is that it well,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I got a big ass head in this three minutes.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You could be done three minutes. I can't be done
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: that faster. No, I could show you how well you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: got a different raisor out there you got that thing?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: You show me what kind of raising you got? Oh, brahm,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I'm telling you man, if I show you what I do,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: if I I'm gonna do a video, man, rich ass
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: or what it is? You can buy this rich ass
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: razor at Target. Now you're talking her like everything. You
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: got to have it, Richard. It is all right. So
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: this is something something else they would rather do than
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: work out. This is crazy, right here. Spend one month
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: alone in the woods. Well out electricity. I'm going to
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: the gym. You ain't gonna have to work out there
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: because your hand's gonna be skinny, because your assa, you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: don't have no idea what you doing in the woods.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: You don't need some calamine. Your cardio gonna be up
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: for show. All that running scared and know what was that?
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: What was that? I could never do that? When we
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: was in Africa? Ever, it was dark dark. It was
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: another kind of dark. I remember Steve did about that. Yes,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: it was another dark and a get you on the path.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Me and Tom were running. Man, you could not see
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: your hand in front of your face. Really, yeah, and
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you hit a whole jungle. Some people would rather stand
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: in line at the DMV for a full day than
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: to work. I'm doing that either. I wouldn't do that.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: At the DMV, he talked to you crazy, not nice.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: They are not nice and you gotta take it. Yeah. Oh,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I could never do this. I wish the DMV you had,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: you know, you know, I wish they could like the
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: view that chick for late. Let people a chick late. Now.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: It's so sweet, aren't they. Okay, here's the last one.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here. Yeah, they don't want
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to take a shower or bathe for two weeks. We'll

- 1:16:04Speaker 1: after the hour right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: all right. So Lizzo has apparently had enough of trolls
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: on Twitter. She reached her breaking point over the weekend
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and announced that she's taking a break from the social
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: media site. She says, Yeah, I can't do this Twitter,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: sugar Honey, iced tea anymore. Too many trolls. She wrote,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I'll be back when I feel like it. Also, rapper
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: a Baby posted if social media wasn't such a lucrative
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: tool in business that I'm in, I wouldn't be on it.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: He went on to say Lost Souls Influenced by Lost
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Souls the Baby posted an encouraging message for people to
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: find themselves without false without a false sense of security
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: from the internet. Wow, that's de pump. That's really that's yeah,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that's a great thought man. Yeah, it's so sad that
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: this has become the debs playground, because you know, social
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: media can be such a great positive thing. I choose
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: to only do positive stuff. If I'm not doing a
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: little animated character, funny stuff, I'm trying to do release
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: motivational series to motivate people. That's it. I'm not going
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: on their dog and nobody tell about what they ought
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to do to somebody who they think there is. I
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: don't even have time for that. And it's sad how
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: many people take the time out of their day that
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: they could be doing something positive to spend the time
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: when negative. And then the other flip side to that
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: is what the average person does not seem to get
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: through their head is you reap what you sold. See Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: this gonna come back. And it's the law of attraction. Now,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: when something happens to a person that's negative or bad,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that doesn't necessarily mean they're reaping something. See, that's the
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: other part. People think that if you have a mishap
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: or a misstep in your life, it's some form of punishment. No,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: it's life. Bad things happen to good people all the time,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: all the time, because we are human and we are
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: subject to life, and we are human, and that's called circumstances.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: But circumstances does not determine who the person is. That's
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: just the current situation they find themselves in. If you
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: keep walking, you're gonna be on the other side of it,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: just like you have every other thing that's happened to you,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: when you flunked out of school, when you when you
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: lost your loved ones, when you got divorced, when your
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: job closed, when you when you, when you, when you,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: when you, when you were told you weren't gonna ever
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: gonna make it. You've gotten past all of those things,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and you'll get past the new stuff too. But they
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: seem to think that when something happens to you that
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: that's all nice. Se Nah, he get that nine and
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: nine and that Nah man, keep watching the movie. Yeah,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: all right, coming up, you do not want to miss it.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Don't go anywhere. Steve Harvey's closing remarks at forty nine
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: this Wednesday hump Day. Was a good day, yea, yate. Yeah.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: And we're not going to take up any more time, Steve,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: because people have been waiting for today's closing remarks. Well,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: you know, it's really something that I was thinking about,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: and it started with how I was assessed in my
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: own life, and then as I began to assess it,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I started thinking about of how many people's lives are
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: running a parallel course to mine. I mean almost everybody.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: It really is almost the case for everybody. If you
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: are a person that's seeking happiness or success, then you
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: can relate to what I'm about to say to you
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: because all of us, all of you, myself included, have
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: faced moments where it just didn't go the way we planned.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: It just didn't go the way we thought, and it
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: showed didn't go the way we had hoped, but it
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: went anyway. And it happened to me this year, well
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: last year, it happened to me in twenty nineteen. A
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: couple of things happened that I well, I had been
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: forewarned of it, but I just I didn't know it
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: really and then it happened. But like I've always said
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: to you, all life is tempercent. What happens to you
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: is ninety percent what you do about it. So as
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I had these doors closed in my face and I
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: began to pray about it and talk to God about it,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I also found myself being privy to what the haters
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: were saying, and what the Internet was saying, and what
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: so called friends of mine will go, Man, you all right, man,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: your show gone. You all right, You're gonna be okay. Man.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: They say they took that in a little big shot.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: They say, Man, this over man, you man, you man,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right through all this. Here here's
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: what I realized, and I want to share with you,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: and you can run your life, and I'm sure you
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: can relate to what I'm saying. Those people who were
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: writing me off, those people who have written you off,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: those people who say you're finished, those people who think
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: there's no way you can rise from this one. They
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: got to know this, that this that we are living
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: is a movie. And the thing about a movie, it
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: has a beginning, it has a middle, and it has
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: an end. But this movie called life that we are
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: in the only end to this movie. It's when our
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: life is over. And till our life is over, the
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: movie is constantly being constructed. Now here's the beautiful thing
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: about this movie. We end. This movie has only one writer.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: The script writer to this movie is God. He is
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: the one who controls the script to your life. But
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: here is the catch to it. You are the director. See,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: the director makes choices in a movie. The director decides
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: what's the mood, how, what's the tone, what's the flavor,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: How we're doing this, what's our motivation. When we're talking
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: to the actors, we give them the motivation for Well,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: if you got a director that wants to give you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: the positive information, which you are the director of the movie,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: what the script says, the pitfalls, the trials and the
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: tribulations in the movie, what the script says, It's okay,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: it's just the ten percent that's happening to you. It's
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you got to do the ninety percent. You got to
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: keep doing the movie. Because God is the architect and
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the author of this movie. Nobody else. The haters are
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: merely movie critics. All their job is to do is
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: one thing, find something to criticize about the movie. They
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: don't even mention the good part of the movie. They
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: ain't there for you when you win in in the movie.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: They not there for you when things go well in
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: your movie. They are there for one reason only to criticize.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: They are the movie critics. Why how else would they
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: have a position if they wasn't the critic, what would
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: they do? The critics job is to criticize, find something wrong.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: They're not the movie helpers. They're not the movie or
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: goal getters. They the movie critics. That's all the hater is.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: And they don't even write the good stuff. You got
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: to keep doing the movie. My heavily Father, your God
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: is the writer of this movie. And in this movie
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: that gonna be some Evan flows. You gotta beginning, You
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: got a middle. All you got to do is keep
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: doing the movie. You're the director. You have the choices.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: When you blow a scene, all you got to do
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: is get with the writer, come up with the next script,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: rewrite the next scene. You can actually pray to the creator,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: who is the architect and the writer of this movie
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: just called your life. You can either pray and get direction.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You can pray and get consultation. You can pray against guidance,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and you know how to direct the scene for the
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: next one, even if you blow a scene in a
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: over all you got to do is keep watching movie.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Keep in mind, now, movie critics only have one job,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: that is to criticize. But what they got to do,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: and what they're gonna end up doing, is what everybody
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: else is gonna be doing. Y'all. They're gonna keep watching
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: the movie. You're gonna show up somewhere else in another scene.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: And what they're gonna say, then, oh they get church
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: mouse quiet? Then don't they the critics of your movie
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: get real quiet when you shineing, when God raise you
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: up and show you out again, why the critics at
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: then I ain't a Oh Lord, they church mouse quiet?
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Then you got to keep watching the movie because the
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: movie ain't over. Man. The writer of this movie is
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: your heavenly father and you are the director. Don't weary
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: about them critics. Man, keep watching the movie. You might
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: mess around in the next scene. You're looking real good.
