- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all all looking back to back down, giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them just like theming buck things. And it's not me
- 0:20Speaker 1: through good Steve Haring to mother star, don't joy. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn You got to turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn, got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Y'all, come, come on your bad
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will. Good marded everybody you're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now, one it all.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well all right,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I've learned something and it sharing time. And I am
- 2:23Speaker 1: ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all that he
- 2:27Speaker 1: allows me to learn in my life. One of the
- 2:32Speaker 1: best lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you some
- 2:40Speaker 1: great lessons. Challenges brings about some of my best results.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say is in every
- 2:51Speaker 1: challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned something so so valuable.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So here's what I've You know, I've known this, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've just learned it at a different angle. Appreciation and
- 3:09Speaker 1: gratitude is the key to having more. Now. I don't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know how that sound to you, but I can't tell
- 3:21Speaker 1: you how true it is. God being fair and just
- 3:25Speaker 1: as he really is. He really is. He's a fair
- 3:28Speaker 1: and a just God. What's most beneficial to us is
- 3:32Speaker 1: he happens to be full of mercy and grace. And
- 3:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his
- 3:46Speaker 1: grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: for him just touch in my life the way he has,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:14Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:25Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:29Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:32Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, forget how rough. It was got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through when
- 4:57Speaker 1: it hid made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing suicide,
- 5:06Speaker 1: is they leave the God out of their life and
- 5:10Speaker 1: they start allowing that other voice to control. And if
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's really true that God never puts more on you
- 5:16Speaker 1: than you can bear, as long as you stay connected
- 5:19Speaker 1: to God, you can get through anything. But you lose
- 5:23Speaker 1: that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that relationship
- 5:30Speaker 1: with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with now? And it
- 5:38Speaker 1: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 5:42Speaker 1: good and evil, it's positive and negative. It's God's satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:55Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 5:59Speaker 1: to stay up in. If you're not trying to be
- 6:03Speaker 1: righteous in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:22Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's a fact. Okay, Now with that fact in mind,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:31Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:35Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:40Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:48Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:01Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:05Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:08Speaker 1: wondering at all, like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:11Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:14Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:25Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:41Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:02Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:05Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had began
- 8:10Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:15Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part
- 8:21Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy. You know, I asked
- 8:23Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:27Speaker 1: for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:33Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy, embrace the act what all comes along with it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Because to whom much is given, much is required. You
- 9:04Speaker 1: got to start embracing the requirement part if you want
- 9:09Speaker 1: to continue with the giving part. So I changed my attitude.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I caught myself and I started thinking him and showing
- 9:16Speaker 1: real gratitude for how busy I was, instead of complaining
- 9:19Speaker 1: about how busy I was. And then guess what. It
- 9:21Speaker 1: opened up the windows of heaven and some more blessings
- 9:24Speaker 1: got poured out. It just works that way all the time,
- 9:27Speaker 1: for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody. So listen,
- 9:32Speaker 1: y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to
- 9:35Speaker 1: having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to
- 9:39Speaker 1: continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's the only
- 9:43Speaker 1: way that you can get those windows of heaven to
- 9:46Speaker 1: open up and pour out to these blessings that you
- 9:48Speaker 1: won't have room enough to receive. You gotta act like
- 9:51Speaker 1: you're glad for what you got in order to get more.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You feel me, let's go. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: let me have you undivided attention please yesterday open up
- 10:08Speaker 1: the show with a throwback, and it felt so good
- 10:11Speaker 1: to me. I'm gonna do it again. I'm on. When
- 10:17Speaker 1: you think of love, gotta get it on your mind. You,
- 10:24Speaker 1: when you think of love, gotta get it on your mind. You,
- 10:32Speaker 1: when you think of love God, and get it on
- 10:38Speaker 1: all over your mind. He he, you know that real
- 10:57Speaker 1: bad Loune slinger and threw that extra on that for
- 10:59Speaker 1: no reason. Shirley Strong Barrier, Hey, good morning singer. You
- 11:04Speaker 1: are yes Colin for real? All right, I'm looked up
- 11:09Speaker 1: at the ending. Oh gay lord, up lord, everybody singing
- 11:14Speaker 1: fool nephew, Tommy top top top, Let's get it. Hey,
- 11:20Speaker 1: Well Tuesday day, same president. I mean, man, you know what, man, seriously,
- 11:30Speaker 1: this has been for full years of foolishness, complete and
- 11:39Speaker 1: other b s. Man, I ain't never seen nothing like it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I've never seen another country do this that's supposed to
- 11:46Speaker 1: be a powerhouse, a great nation. It's the most embarrassing dude.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And these ignorant and I'm gonna say it, man, ignorant
- 11:57Speaker 1: Republicans who are actually believed even that this election was
- 12:01Speaker 1: rigged just because this so asked loser said so Now
- 12:07Speaker 1: you didn't believe that too. You got to be as
- 12:09Speaker 1: gullible as his ass. He is stupid. Well, if they
- 12:14Speaker 1: believe that, then they didn't win either. The Yeah, some
- 12:18Speaker 1: of them, some of them seats, so to speak. But
- 12:23Speaker 1: why is he bad? Yeah? And he's only mad where
- 12:27Speaker 1: he lost? Where I mean? Man, he said nothing by
- 12:35Speaker 1: the Alabama, Mississippi Louise Hannah did nothing. Yeah, he mad
- 12:49Speaker 1: now because more black people voted for Biden than Obama.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Here's what this man don't understand what. We voted for
- 12:59Speaker 1: Obama because we loved him and wanted to see history made.
- 13:06Speaker 1: We can't stand you, Moden. We loved him, though we
- 13:11Speaker 1: can't stand you loved him. See he don't see. So
- 13:19Speaker 1: who we loved is gone. All we had to do
- 13:22Speaker 1: was turn our fury against somebody who has shown us
- 13:26Speaker 1: nothing but but hatred and in disregard. So now we
- 13:31Speaker 1: got a chance to slap somebody back. We slapped your
- 13:34Speaker 1: ass right after White House asked the CLO coming up
- 13:39Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show, all right, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now for Steve's favorite segment. It's called asked
- 13:50Speaker 1: the CLO, the Chief Love Officer, the clue as the
- 13:54Speaker 1: nephew calls him. So I have to ask you, clo.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Are you ready? Yeah, all right, let's get it. This
- 14:00Speaker 1: is from Sugar like her name Sugar in Austin, Texas.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Sugar says, I'm a thirty year old engaged woman and
- 14:08Speaker 1: my fiance used to be my boss. When we first
- 14:11Speaker 1: started dating, he said we should keep things between us.
- 14:14Speaker 1: We got more serious, I got a new job, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: then he proposed. My old co workers found out we
- 14:21Speaker 1: are engaged, and they had a fit. One of my
- 14:25Speaker 1: former co workers told me that she used to sleep
- 14:27Speaker 1: with my man. My fiance admitted it and said it
- 14:31Speaker 1: was a mistake. He said, I'm the real deal and
- 14:34Speaker 1: the woman of his dreams. So why didn't he tell
- 14:37Speaker 1: me this before we got engaged? Tom? Why would he volunteering?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, do you understand the rule is when
- 14:47Speaker 1: you're sleeping with a worker or the boss, you keep
- 14:50Speaker 1: it undercover. He kept it undercover because it was nothing
- 14:53Speaker 1: to it. Now, they didn't found out that you got
- 14:57Speaker 1: an engagement ring. Now here she come. We want to
- 15:00Speaker 1: notify you, and now you're mad at him? What you
- 15:03Speaker 1: mad at him? Fault? Everybody got a pack You slept
- 15:06Speaker 1: with somebody before you met him, Sugar. All right, we
- 15:12Speaker 1: ain't told Hill. You ain't told him everybody you slept with, Sugar.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Come on now, Sugar, see that ain't the name that's
- 15:26Speaker 1: on the birth certificate. You earned that name. Come on,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and how did you earn that name? Oh? Oh, because
- 15:36Speaker 1: you heard it more than once. All right, we're moving on.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think Carrie and Dthan Alabama says. My husband is
- 15:47Speaker 1: a firefighter, so he sleeps at the station when he's
- 15:50Speaker 1: on duty. Sometimes when he's away, we do a little
- 15:53Speaker 1: freaky dicky stuff on FaceTime. And the other night we
- 15:56Speaker 1: were on FaceTime and I had just gotten out of
- 15:59Speaker 1: the shower, so I rubbed lotion all over my breast
- 16:02Speaker 1: for him. I noticed that my husband's battalion chief was
- 16:06Speaker 1: watching too, and I quickly hung up. My stupid husband
- 16:10Speaker 1: told me it was no big deal because they share
- 16:12Speaker 1: pictures and videos of their wives and girlfriends all the time.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Who all the time? Right, I've been withholding sex to
- 16:26Speaker 1: punish him, he says, I'm overreacting. What do you think? What? Dog?
- 16:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't see how the wife is up
- 16:33Speaker 1: for sharing photos? An I don't not the wife? Dog, No, No,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm not even somebody, your your fiance, somebody you seriously dating.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I don't understand this. What y'all doing down at the
- 16:48Speaker 1: five stations? How much free tank? Maybe you need to
- 16:50Speaker 1: go home. Stops leaving down that. They need to wash
- 16:52Speaker 1: the trucks, They need to do something. What are y'all
- 16:54Speaker 1: down that going on around him? I've been watching. Got
- 17:00Speaker 1: a dog? Y'all can train down there? Ain't y'all got something?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Y'all greaves the pole? Can't your hand sliding contest the roads?
- 17:10Speaker 1: You're doing? Take all the grease off that pole? He
- 17:12Speaker 1: who can climb up the pole? The fast man? Oh,
- 17:17Speaker 1: y'all showing your wife robbing lotion on her breath, that's
- 17:21Speaker 1: that's it really is. And it's not a picture or video.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It's actually your wife doing this in real time. That's crazy.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That's crazy. You overreacted. No, I'm not you sharing pictures
- 17:33Speaker 1: of me, your wife with another man throng with you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That's why she got off the phone. That's why she
- 17:39Speaker 1: hung up in your face. That's why you ain't had
- 17:42Speaker 1: none in a womnute. Yeah, that's why she's been holding
- 17:45Speaker 1: sec withholding it from you. Yeah, I don't know, no, right,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I got I don't know no black people do it.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I don't know white people do it. I don't know
- 17:54Speaker 1: no white man to do it with. They wive. I
- 17:56Speaker 1: don't know what this came from. Yeah, but at your
- 17:59Speaker 1: job you're taking You're letting all your co workers see
- 18:03Speaker 1: your wife. That's craziness. It's craziness. It is water. Hold
- 18:08Speaker 1: out and roll it back up. Find something to do
- 18:12Speaker 1: for re y'all. Ain't that friendly? All right? So we're
- 18:17Speaker 1: moving on Sonia and New York says. I'm a fifty
- 18:19Speaker 1: three year old female and I'm dating a great guy
- 18:22Speaker 1: that's seventeen years younger than I am. He's a millionaire
- 18:25Speaker 1: and he spoils me with the best of the best.
- 18:28Speaker 1: He's never been married because he's been focused on his career. Recently,
- 18:33Speaker 1: he told me he wants to spend the rest of
- 18:35Speaker 1: his life with me and wants to have a child
- 18:38Speaker 1: before he's forty. He doesn't know my real age. When
- 18:42Speaker 1: we met, I told him I was only four years older.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I'm afraid of losing him over this, but I can't
- 18:47Speaker 1: keep the lie going any longer. How do I break
- 18:50Speaker 1: the news to him? Lord? Not that old? First of all,
- 18:57Speaker 1: your voice and quit sounding like you for sweer, sweeter. Listen, listen.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I can't keep this up in and longer. This is
- 19:10Speaker 1: just too much. Now. I know I told you I
- 19:13Speaker 1: was four years Yes, listen, this is my real voice.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I know I told you I was four years older.
- 19:21Speaker 1: That you can tell very well tell the voice. I
- 19:26Speaker 1: am much older than you. Now. I didn't want to
- 19:31Speaker 1: say this to you. Uh huh, but I was classmates
- 19:36Speaker 1: with your mama. Yeah. Now listen to me. Me and Jerdine,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I've been knowing Jerdy let Mark quick crying. Listen to me.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Just just a bigger punk as your daddy is. That's
- 19:51Speaker 1: what your daddy said, because your daddy was sleeping with Jerdine,
- 19:54Speaker 1: ain't me? You ain't know that evil? Oh listen to me?
- 20:04Speaker 1: What is your tripping for? Has been good? Not the
- 20:08Speaker 1: only thing we needed? Listen. We can't hand no cheeris?
- 20:15Speaker 1: I said cheeries? Well what you want me to say? Children?
- 20:19Speaker 1: And what didn't you know? I was foughty hands no cheeris?
- 20:25Speaker 1: This gig is up? I still take penicilla, all right?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Thank you? CeeLo. Coming up next, have you temmy and
- 20:37Speaker 1: run that prank back right after this? You're listening? Coming
- 20:43Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, miss Anne will
- 20:45Speaker 1: be here with today's national news and an entertainment news.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Halle Berry is responding to Lisa Ray about the suggestion
- 20:52Speaker 1: that Hallie is bad and bed Tommy, I love you,
- 20:58Speaker 1: but what you not fishing? Let's start talking about handy now,
- 21:01Speaker 1: that's what you're not gonna do. All right, we'll talk
- 21:04Speaker 1: about at the top of the hour, but right now,
- 21:07Speaker 1: the nephew is number. I got her number. We're not
- 21:13Speaker 1: to run that, frank back, I apologize, had it for anything?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Lisa Ray said that she got you. Don't. You don't
- 21:22Speaker 1: talk negative of halle Berry. You don't do that her.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You couldn't even say hello when you were this okay,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I was shot, Okay, Okay, I choked when I see
- 21:33Speaker 1: I choked. I got that. Okay. But there ain't nobody
- 21:37Speaker 1: gonna sit here and be disrespectful to her. Now that's
- 21:39Speaker 1: not gonna happen too. Band hunt all right, Marsha Larnson,
- 21:46Speaker 1: what you got? What you got? Now? I've been taken
- 21:51Speaker 1: up back by Harley. I'm media ministry, Media ministry. Let's
- 21:57Speaker 1: go hello, lost, I'm trying to reach Dre Andre. Yeah, Dre,
- 22:05Speaker 1: you're the person that runs the media at the church.
- 22:08Speaker 1: You over the sound system and everything and all the um,
- 22:11Speaker 1: the screens and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, I work
- 22:14Speaker 1: with the church. Okay, how long have you been at
- 22:16Speaker 1: the church, man, I've probably been at the church for
- 22:19Speaker 1: like five years now, about five years. Okay, okay, listen.
- 22:22Speaker 1: My name Doug Man, Doug Newsom, and uh I haven't
- 22:25Speaker 1: I haven't joined the church yet, but I've been coming
- 22:28Speaker 1: because my cousin, you know, my um, uh, my cousin
- 22:31Speaker 1: them go there, and they've been going there for quite
- 22:33Speaker 1: a bit. My cousin, Uh I got I got one
- 22:36Speaker 1: cousin that's in the choir. Uh Latrise you know who
- 22:39Speaker 1: Latrice is? Right? Yeah, yeah, I know you ain't a
- 22:43Speaker 1: member of the church yet. No, No, I'm not a
- 22:45Speaker 1: member of the church yet. But you know, I've been
- 22:47Speaker 1: in there. You know, I'm liking the service and everything.
- 22:49Speaker 1: So you know, it's just a matter of time, you know,
- 22:51Speaker 1: uh uh, when I feel like I'm ready to actually join.
- 22:55Speaker 1: But I ain't gonna lie. Man. I'm calling you because
- 22:58Speaker 1: I got a bit of an issue about, uh about
- 23:01Speaker 1: something I've been noticing for the last three weeks that's
- 23:03Speaker 1: been going on in the church, and I wanted to uh,
- 23:06Speaker 1: you know, I had to ask around who was over
- 23:08Speaker 1: the media? Yeah, that's that's okay. So, uh, man, I
- 23:15Speaker 1: don't know what's happening, and I ain't gonna lie. I
- 23:18Speaker 1: gotta be real with you. It pissed me off. But
- 23:21Speaker 1: for the last three weeks, you know, when my cousin
- 23:25Speaker 1: get ready to sing, you know, I don't know why
- 23:27Speaker 1: when she get up the sing that the mic just
- 23:30Speaker 1: go out, you know what I mean, the mic just
- 23:32Speaker 1: go completely out? Was she getting ready to sing? And
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm like, wait, what this don't make no sense? You know. So, man,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I ain't been It's not like I'm timing it. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, we don't have the best equipment
- 23:42Speaker 1: at the church, you know. We we just got to
- 23:45Speaker 1: work for what we got. I mean, it's not like

- 23:50Speaker 1: the MIC's get a glitch. Man, But see but see that.
- 23:52Speaker 1: But see that's my problem though. The problem I'm having
- 23:54Speaker 1: is the glitch happening every single time my cousin get
- 23:58Speaker 1: the mic. You know, That's that's the problem of hem.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so every time latrees get up there
- 24:02Speaker 1: the same then you know they might go out. I
- 24:05Speaker 1: came three weeks straight. I ain't hearing my cud saying

- 24:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying is just right here though, And I'm
- 24:33Speaker 1: being as real as I can. Which if if Latrese
- 24:36Speaker 1: might go out on Sunday, immediately after that service is

- 25:34Speaker 1: That just ain't gonna happen. Like I told you, it's
- 25:36Speaker 1: a glitch. But you ain't coming up to the church

- 26:08Speaker 1: named Doug. He ain't gonna come to the church. What
- 26:11Speaker 1: my that's gonna happen? Okay, what what what makes you
- 26:13Speaker 1: think you can't get your ass drake? What makes me
- 26:16Speaker 1: you over here threatened somebody over here with the media.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You want to come test these hands and come test

- 26:30Speaker 1: so you're at the church right now. I'm at the
- 26:32Speaker 1: church right now. Okay, okay, Now, if you want to
- 26:34Speaker 1: catch school, you're gonna need the church after you don't
- 26:38Speaker 1: get this as okay, Hey, Bob tell DJ then we're
- 26:42Speaker 1: gonna go to the church out No, no, tell him.
- 26:44Speaker 1: We've been to roll up there to this damn church. Okay,
- 26:47Speaker 1: come on, call all up, call all up. Now you're
- 26:49Speaker 1: fenna get your whipped out. So you didn't push it
- 26:51Speaker 1: up on the wrong one. Now you're pushed up on
- 26:53Speaker 1: the wrong one. So all this little you're talking cool,
- 26:56Speaker 1: You're funn have eight dudes right now talking. So Douggie,
- 27:01Speaker 1: you can bring Johnny, you can bring Billy, you can
- 27:03Speaker 1: bring whoever you want, but it ain't gonna happen. Okay, okay,
- 27:07Speaker 1: cool in real talk, Doug, you don't call me talking
- 27:10Speaker 1: to all this book. How you about to come up
- 27:12Speaker 1: here and whoop? And now you need like seven eight
- 27:15Speaker 1: other guys back in the day, we should just handle
- 27:17Speaker 1: this one on one. And now you want to come
- 27:19Speaker 1: up here talking all that. You're gonna bring every cousin
- 27:21Speaker 1: you've got in your house. If you want to do this, man,
- 27:24Speaker 1: come up here, Let's do it one on one. Oh
- 27:27Speaker 1: oh oh oh oh. You you're scared of something. Ain't
- 27:29Speaker 1: nobody scared, but you're talking that. You whooping mine? And
- 27:32Speaker 1: now you want to bring up every disciple you know? Man,
- 27:36Speaker 1: you know what, Bring whoever you want. Just don't bring
- 27:38Speaker 1: nobody you want bad because I'll put you all down. Okay, Well,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here. I'm gonna bring Timmy
- 27:42Speaker 1: with me, and Tommy gonna be the one. It's gonna
- 27:45Speaker 1: act a damn fool with you. I'm telling you that
- 27:46Speaker 1: right now, Tommy. So you don't know Tommy. No, I
- 27:50Speaker 1: don't know Tommy. Okay, dude, you know nephew Tommy from
- 27:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey more on the show? Are you number? Hey? Man?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Latrese got me to prank phone call. You might of
- 28:05Speaker 1: fact the whole choir is in on this and they
- 28:08Speaker 1: know that I am pranking you, Drake. Man. Now you
- 28:12Speaker 1: got me on turning up on the radio. Now, I
- 28:15Speaker 1: gotta go ask for forgiveness. All that smack. I don't
- 28:18Speaker 1: talk now, come Sunday. I'm turning everybody's mic off. Okay, man,
- 28:26Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this, Drake, what is the baddest
- 28:28Speaker 1: that I mean, the baddest radio show in the lay?
- 28:31Speaker 1: You know, it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And Yo, Tommy,
- 28:34Speaker 1: if I could turn your mic off, I turn that
- 28:40Speaker 1: all right, nephew, thank you? Coming up at the top
- 28:44Speaker 1: entertainment and national news right after this. You're listening Steve
- 28:49Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and entertainment news. All right, Tommy, listen up.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Halle Berry is responding and laughing off negative comments made
- 28:58Speaker 1: by Lisa Ray regarding her sex life. Lisa Ray made
- 29:02Speaker 1: a comment about Hallie sex life while on Fox Souls
- 29:05Speaker 1: Cocktails with Queens with her co host Claudia Jordan, Vivica A. Fox,
- 29:09Speaker 1: and Selena Johnson. The comments made centered around the reputation
- 29:14Speaker 1: of Hallie not being great in bed. When Lisa Ray
- 29:17Speaker 1: was asked to clarify whether she was insinuating that Hallie
- 29:20Speaker 1: was a bad lover, Lisa Ray said, that's what they say,
- 29:23Speaker 1: that's what I read, that's what I heard. Hallie then
- 29:26Speaker 1: retweeted an article that covered the Cocktails with Queen's segment
- 29:30Speaker 1: and wrote, miss at the real Lisa Ray. One asked,
- 29:33Speaker 1: my man Van Hunt, He'll tell you all you need
- 29:36Speaker 1: to know, and then she you know, ended it with
- 29:39Speaker 1: a crying, laughing emoji. Uh. Hallie sex life has been
- 29:44Speaker 1: a hot topic recently after earlier this month, she revealed
- 29:47Speaker 1: that she had her first orgasm at age eleven. Well,
- 29:56Speaker 1: o't what the hell was going on? Okay, tell you
- 30:00Speaker 1: right now. I was trying to figure out. I was
- 30:04Speaker 1: trying to figure out what was wrong. Why am I
- 30:09Speaker 1: sitting here watching this Elvis Presley movie feeling this way?
- 30:13Speaker 1: That's what I was trying to absorb and work through
- 30:16Speaker 1: and orgasm. Matt Levin, that's what Hallie said. But anyway,
- 30:21Speaker 1: how Lisa Ray know that Hallie ain't good in bed.
- 30:24Speaker 1: What E's coming from? What Hallie Ray said. That's what
- 30:28Speaker 1: she heard and that's what she read, and that's what
- 30:31Speaker 1: they say. That's what Lisa Ray said. Who you know streets? Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I ain't never heard that. Well, I ain't in the streets,
- 30:40Speaker 1: so I ain't never the street just because anything. Yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and Hallie took it well, Hallie Dally joked about it herself. Yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 1: she's asked, tell you all you need to know. Go ahead,
- 30:58Speaker 1: Van Hunt, Dan Hale, you hate he got him help.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But look, who's very quiet though? You hurt? I just
- 31:08Speaker 1: don't like it what's talking about her? Cry? I just
- 31:13Speaker 1: don't like it when people start talking about her and
- 31:16Speaker 1: being disrespectful. It's her what Hallie bet, what Lisa Ray
- 31:21Speaker 1: was doing, it's very disc slander. Who slander? It's slander.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It's just you're just wrong. You're just not a good person.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You're not do that. What oh man tell me Hallie
- 31:38Speaker 1: is listening. I apologize for somebody speaking about you like that.
- 31:42Speaker 1: It's just wrong for yourself. Together, quiet Carla, because she's
- 31:51Speaker 1: a good person. All right. Can we move on now
- 31:55Speaker 1: because there we have something else to cover as well
- 31:59Speaker 1: a tissue. I know, Cartie b Okay, we're moving on. Nephew.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Cardie b Is apologized to dry up. Cartie b Is
- 32:10Speaker 1: apologized after making some tone deaf brags about a big
- 32:13Speaker 1: Thanksgiving celebration. Cartie was criticized for getting twelve kids and
- 32:18Speaker 1: twenty five adults together to celebrate Thanksgiving, even though it
- 32:23Speaker 1: seemed she appreciated the quality time with family. She understood
- 32:26Speaker 1: the criticism and tried to address people's concerns by speaking
- 32:30Speaker 1: to the safety precautions she took. She said, sorry, my bad.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad. I just
- 32:35Speaker 1: had my family in my home for the first time,
- 32:37Speaker 1: and it felt so good and it uplifted me. I
- 32:39Speaker 1: spent so much money getting everyone tested, but it felt
- 32:42Speaker 1: worth it. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. All right,
- 32:46Speaker 1: We're moving on. There you go. Time for today. Thank
- 32:51Speaker 1: you man. Let's go to miss An ladies and gentlemen.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Miss Ann trip. But the news, well, hippie, the first
- 33:00Speaker 1: doses of fives coronavirus vaccine have arrived in the United States.
- 33:04Speaker 1: That it's here. The vaccine produced in Belgium flown over here.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It's in the storage facility in Michigan. Health officials say
- 33:10Speaker 1: the minute the government says it's okay for use, the
- 33:13Speaker 1: shots can be rushed to wherever they're needed. The Sentence
- 33:15Speaker 1: for Disease Control meets today a panel from that anyway
- 33:18Speaker 1: from the CDC to discuss who should be first in
- 33:20Speaker 1: getting it, most likely hospital and other healthcare workers. Also
- 33:24Speaker 1: at the top of the list adults with underlying conditions,
- 33:26Speaker 1: people over sixty five years old, also folks who work
- 33:29Speaker 1: in grocery stores. By the way, the federal government has
- 33:31Speaker 1: also launched something called get This Operation Stolen Promise. It's
- 33:35Speaker 1: aimed at identifying preventing the production of bogus vaccines. That's
- 33:40Speaker 1: the world we live in. They have now been two
- 33:43Speaker 1: other confirmed election losses for Donald Trump. Yesterday, Wisconsin officially
- 33:47Speaker 1: certified Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election there,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and Arizona's Secretary of State Katie Hobbs announced that he
- 33:53Speaker 1: recount shows Joe Biden won more votes than Trump in
- 33:55Speaker 1: her state, and contrary to what Trump claims, she says
- 33:58Speaker 1: there was no evidence of any nanigans. Of those three
- 34:01Speaker 1: point four two million ballots cast, over eighty eight percent
- 34:04Speaker 1: of them were cast early, which provides more proof that
- 34:07Speaker 1: Arizona's ballot by mail system works. It's been another case
- 34:11Speaker 1: of a white man shooting and killing an unarmed black teenager,
- 34:14Speaker 1: supposedly for loud music, this time in Oregon. Authorities say
- 34:17Speaker 1: that forty seven year old Robert Paul Keegan is under arrest.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Police say Keegan's totally responsible for the murder of Aiden
- 34:24Speaker 1: Ellison because he had a gun and he just wanted
- 34:27Speaker 1: to use it. There was no reason to murder the
- 34:29Speaker 1: young man. Eight years ago, another white man shot and
- 34:32Speaker 1: killed an unarmed black teenager. At that time, it was
- 34:35Speaker 1: in Jacksonville, Flaherty you may remember this case was supposedly
- 34:37Speaker 1: playing loud music outside of a convenience store in the
- 34:40Speaker 1: parking lot. That white man is now serving a life
- 34:43Speaker 1: prison sentence. By the way, the American Medical Association is
- 34:46Speaker 1: now declared racism to be a public health threat and
- 34:50Speaker 1: for its victims. The AIMA says it causes mental health
- 34:53Speaker 1: issues like depression and anxiety, poor physical health like diabetes,
- 34:58Speaker 1: high blood pressure, heart disease, and kidney disease. The American
- 35:01Speaker 1: Medical Association has now pledged to confront systemic racism and
- 35:05Speaker 1: also police brutality. According to MZ, doctors say that the
- 35:09Speaker 1: original James Bond Sean Connery died of respiratory failure brought
- 35:14Speaker 1: on by pneumonia, and they also say because of his
- 35:16Speaker 1: age also that also factored into how he responded. The
- 35:21Speaker 1: ninety year old Oscar winner died on October thirty first.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And finally, today is National Courage Day and also appropriately
- 35:27Speaker 1: enough rose apart. Today we honor all of those who
- 35:33Speaker 1: had enough courage to stand up and put their lives
- 35:35Speaker 1: on the line. Many lost their lives. Now back to
- 35:38Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 35:43Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here, we are a lot of things
- 35:46Speaker 1: going on. You know, it's still very political in the
- 35:50Speaker 1: state of Georgia because of the Senate runoff races. And
- 35:54Speaker 1: did you have a special message to the voters? And
- 35:56Speaker 1: try what I got a message for y'all, And I
- 35:59Speaker 1: won't you all to understand something that we've got a
- 36:03Speaker 1: little bit of unfinished business because we want to send
- 36:08Speaker 1: a clearer message to presidents that this nothing was fraudulent
- 36:13Speaker 1: about this election. That is real. Now for those of
- 36:17Speaker 1: you to still doubting that your vote works or not.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I don't know what more proof than you need than
- 36:22Speaker 1: to watch in real lifetime as the votes came in
- 36:26Speaker 1: from Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Philly, and we all know
- 36:30Speaker 1: who stayed out. Get your ass down there and get
- 36:34Speaker 1: in line and vote. Sick of this is one of
- 36:38Speaker 1: the most important elections that we're gonna have. We can
- 36:41Speaker 1: win two Senate seats and send a clear message to
- 36:43Speaker 1: Trump with a parting guilt. Go get in line if
- 36:46Speaker 1: you look. If you can stand in line to get
- 36:48Speaker 1: in the club, and you can spend your damn rint money,
- 36:51Speaker 1: you can stand in line to vote again. Yeah, just
- 36:54Speaker 1: get on down there. If you can stand in line
- 36:57Speaker 1: at the Best Buy to get that big ass team
- 37:00Speaker 1: that don't fit in your little last car. If you
- 37:03Speaker 1: can't get in that line again, okay, if you can
- 37:07Speaker 1: get in line at that damn DNV to get your
- 37:10Speaker 1: driver's licensed in your baby's names, so you can stand
- 37:14Speaker 1: in line again. Sick of this here, man, If you
- 37:18Speaker 1: hadn't been in that damn line at the Red Lobster,
- 37:21Speaker 1: eat them damn biscuits that you know you don't need, yea,
- 37:26Speaker 1: get your ass in the voting line. The chatter biscuits
- 37:30Speaker 1: was happening. Yes, standing in line at the damn Center
- 37:34Speaker 1: Bun Place. Get your ass in the voting line. The
- 37:37Speaker 1: ball just backed up round the corner. They're good though
- 37:44Speaker 1: you standing in line outside the beauty supply Place. I'm
- 37:48Speaker 1: gonna be honest with you after you get out of line,
- 37:51Speaker 1: and it don't help some of y'all. Get your ass
- 37:53Speaker 1: in the voting line, even if you've been in last,
- 37:57Speaker 1: because if you don't stand in line and again, all
- 38:02Speaker 1: the stuff you like to stay in the fall will
- 38:05Speaker 1: be gone. You got you got deep with this standing
- 38:13Speaker 1: standing in the line, standing countdown? Is owner standing in
- 38:21Speaker 1: the Live days standing standing in the line? WHOA get
- 38:31Speaker 1: your ashen line? Thirty four minutes after, we'll talk about
- 38:40Speaker 1: this story involving a black restaurant owner in Texas. Right
- 38:43Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Morning Show, a black
- 38:49Speaker 1: restaurant owner in Dallas, Texas went off, I mean really
- 38:52Speaker 1: went off on a section of mostly black women after
- 38:55Speaker 1: one of them got up in their booth and tworked.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And now the black restaurant owner is getting dragged and
- 39:03Speaker 1: some people are plotting him while also defending his actions.
- 39:07Speaker 1: The incident went down at a joint called True kitchen
- 39:10Speaker 1: and cocktails. It opened just about five months ago. When
- 39:14Speaker 1: there is it? Is it nice? Yeah? Okay, well it's
- 39:20Speaker 1: owned by a black guy. His name is Kevin Kelly Um.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Multiple women got up and danced on their chairs against
- 39:27Speaker 1: a glass wall. Take a listen. I invested a lot
- 39:30Speaker 1: of money in the buying this building. Get to developing
- 39:33Speaker 1: this concept so black people can have somewhere nice to
- 39:36Speaker 1: go to. Okay, nowhere where we can feel good about ourselves,
- 39:39Speaker 1: and they somewhere where our people can feel good about
- 39:43Speaker 1: ourselves that they culture. Okay, yeah, now, no real talk,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and so all that's working. Taking the peak. Don't bring
- 39:51Speaker 1: it here because we're a restaurant. And so beyond that,
- 39:53Speaker 1: seventy five percent of our customers, the ladies, and I'm
- 39:56Speaker 1: gonna be in the show, respect for themselves for how
- 39:58Speaker 1: they carry themselves here. So how can I other being
- 40:00Speaker 1: to respect himselves? And you guys are talking on last year?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Do you want to do it? You have my restaurant
- 40:04Speaker 1: because I need it for our people and I need
- 40:06Speaker 1: it for our culture. So don't do it. I'll don't
- 40:08Speaker 1: do it again. I don't want to hear it. You
- 40:09Speaker 1: don't like that, get out because I don't need your money.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I need to provide something for my people. They don't
- 40:14Speaker 1: do it again, thank you. I'm not mad at him.
- 40:17Speaker 1: That was a black restaurantstail. Look, it's supposed to run, man.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It's not a place to twerk, you know, man. And
- 40:27Speaker 1: like he said, he wanted to have somewhere nice for
- 40:29Speaker 1: black people to go, and then there's always somebody gonna
- 40:31Speaker 1: mess that up. Go to the club, Magic City, go
- 40:35Speaker 1: to strip club. You want to twork, Go anywhere, man,
- 40:38Speaker 1: Why are you in this man's establishment talks? Kids come
- 40:40Speaker 1: in here to eat. There's people come in here to eat,
- 40:44Speaker 1: have dinner, everybody. Everybody. Don't think your ass is fine.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I might want to see all that. Okay enough. A
- 40:52Speaker 1: lot of people did not like Kevin's tone. They felt like,
- 40:56Speaker 1: if it's a restaurant, it's bumping music, it's serving boots,
- 41:00Speaker 1: it's promoting itself like a club, that's right for dancing.
- 41:03Speaker 1: So that's what the ladies did. They got up and danced.
- 41:06Speaker 1: He eventually apologized for using profanity during his speech, but
- 41:10Speaker 1: he says he's standing his ground on the twerking. So
- 41:14Speaker 1: you know, I mean what you said, Junior. You know
- 41:17Speaker 1: there's a lot of things going on, you know, running
- 41:19Speaker 1: the restaurant. Man. You know it's hot in that kitchen,
- 41:21Speaker 1: you know, so get it as stressed and everything. You know,
- 41:24Speaker 1: he had just had a grease fire. It could have
- 41:26Speaker 1: been a lot of reasons why he went off like that.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Ain't saying his tones. You know, I didn't like his tone.
- 41:31Speaker 1: What I mean, I didn't have a problem with his tone.
- 41:34Speaker 1: It's his place, you know, it's I don't But look, man,
- 41:37Speaker 1: hey listen, do you know what people have to go
- 41:41Speaker 1: through the open up businesses, what they have to go
- 41:44Speaker 1: through to get the loan, the all the permits that
- 41:48Speaker 1: were licensing. Man, do you know what you got to
- 41:50Speaker 1: go through to have this? Man? And then you you
- 41:53Speaker 1: have a vision for what a place you try? So
- 41:55Speaker 1: what you playing music and that It don't mean you
- 41:58Speaker 1: got to stand up, put your ass up in the
- 42:00Speaker 1: window and start twerking. This ain't I think it's disrespectful
- 42:06Speaker 1: of the other customers that don't pay. People come in
- 42:08Speaker 1: there and eat, They don't come in there and see
- 42:10Speaker 1: you twerk. If he hired dancers for twerking on the tables,
- 42:15Speaker 1: that would be different. That was New York boy boy
- 42:22Speaker 1: boy be out of here so fast. I ain't got
- 42:26Speaker 1: no problem with his tone. I support the brother, And look, man,
- 42:29Speaker 1: you know what we gotta stop with all this. This
- 42:31Speaker 1: is our freedom mess. We we are a people who
- 42:35Speaker 1: are steady trying to climb. Were steady trying to climb.
- 42:40Speaker 1: We can't have nobody stopping the climb. You don't know
- 42:44Speaker 1: what this young man went through to get his place,
- 42:47Speaker 1: and and maybe he don't want to see it. He said,
- 42:49Speaker 1: I don't need your money. He tried to have a
- 42:53Speaker 1: right to refuse service. Yet we didn't call to I
- 43:00Speaker 1: found out that was his third time over there. Now
- 43:03Speaker 1: I understanding that was his asking him to stop. Tone. Yeah,
- 43:12Speaker 1: all right, I know that it was offensive to some
- 43:17Speaker 1: of the others. I can promise you with the tworking
- 43:21Speaker 1: or the tone, the working to some of the other women.
- 43:26Speaker 1: You don't know in Dallas. No, I don't a going
- 43:31Speaker 1: to behavior. It was just just man might have a
- 43:34Speaker 1: wife tone. We got to go. Uh coming up next, nephew,

- 45:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay something. They're not gonna get going good
- 45:49Speaker 1: till about ten. So I'm gonna say I'm gonna say
- 45:52Speaker 1: this to you right now. You think you guys could
- 45:55Speaker 1: probably go to midnight maybe twelve thirty if I if
- 45:59Speaker 1: I make that thing nine five thousand dollars sounds good

- 46:09Speaker 1: gonna be an awesome party. We're gonna we're gonna bring this. Okay,
- 46:12Speaker 1: all right, we got that out of the the way. I'll
- 46:14Speaker 1: tell you what I think. The main thing that we
- 46:16Speaker 1: haven't gone over is we haven't gone over to songs.
- 46:20Speaker 1: And that's what that's what's gonna be an important for
- 46:22Speaker 1: this show down. Now you you can. I you got

- 46:36Speaker 1: I'm ready. I just want to be clear you guys,
- 46:38Speaker 1: when you go, when you gotta go do gigs, you
- 46:41Speaker 1: do have people that won't certain uh songs? Am I right?
- 46:45Speaker 1: A wrong? Yeah? Usually? Yeah. Just if you got a request, definitely,
- 46:49Speaker 1: let us know we could commodate. All right, all right,
- 46:52Speaker 1: well here we go. Huh, here we go. I want
- 46:55Speaker 1: you to write this down. I got I got something
- 46:57Speaker 1: that we gotta make sure this is gonna be doing
- 46:59Speaker 1: the high out of the party. Here we go. Okay,
- 47:02Speaker 1: Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks. Okay, right, Kenni
- 47:07Speaker 1: sen whiskey. That's Chris Faithful, you know that. Okay, I'm
- 47:12Speaker 1: not telling fun that's Jason all things. Hold off for

- 47:20Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's that's everything. We're gonna do everything.
- 47:24Speaker 1: We're gonna do that said country bro. I gotta tell
- 47:29Speaker 1: you right now, man, R and B. That's our specialty.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Did you gotta know that? You know what I'm saying?
- 47:34Speaker 1: We played R and B. You did not know that? Oh?
- 47:38Speaker 1: All I know is you guys come hand men. They
- 47:42Speaker 1: tell me you guys and saying any thing in the world.
- 47:44Speaker 1: All I know is I want to say that gun country.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I want you to that gun country music going on
- 47:50Speaker 1: round that. But you know, our specialty is R and B.
- 47:54Speaker 1: That's our specialty. You know what I'm saying. It's not
- 47:56Speaker 1: like we're training monkeys where we could just learn something new.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I spent like that. You know what I'm saying. That's man, Man,
- 48:03Speaker 1: let's let's get let's get one. Let's get one thing understood.
- 48:07Speaker 1: You're the person that said monkey, I ain't sick. But
- 48:11Speaker 1: no yo yo, I'm just I'm no. And you know
- 48:15Speaker 1: that we're an R and D band. That's our big thing.
- 48:18Speaker 1: That's what we promote ourselves as. Let me ask you something, richie,
- 48:22Speaker 1: but he ain't something. Now you not do you not
- 48:26Speaker 1: want to make the five hound no of that you
- 48:29Speaker 1: and I have already in nootiating. I don't like being
- 48:32Speaker 1: disrespected though. You know what I'm saying, No disrespecting you.
- 48:37Speaker 1: You're just We're an R and B band. We are
- 48:40Speaker 1: a country you know what I'm saying here, Richie, you
- 48:44Speaker 1: got something his country music. I have no problem with
- 48:46Speaker 1: country music. It's just that we have a full horn section,
- 48:50Speaker 1: which doesn't really work with country music. You know what
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm saying. We play R and B. It's not our genre.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Well what you should thing, But if I don't hear
- 49:04Speaker 1: uh let me see Your Girl by Cole Swindale. Didn't
- 49:09Speaker 1: didn't that, it ain't gonna work for me. I gotta
- 49:12Speaker 1: get that. I gotta get slow burned by Tim Hitts.
- 49:16Speaker 1: I gotta get all my roddy friends were coming over
- 49:19Speaker 1: by I ain't William. I mean that, y'all. You know
- 49:22Speaker 1: what Wait wait, wait wait wait. Kevin over at the
- 49:24Speaker 1: bank is telling men that you guys can sang anything
- 49:28Speaker 1: in the world, and I know you ain't telling me that.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Kevin's line, I mean, he's maybe he should have told
- 49:34Speaker 1: you explicitly what we do and what we play. You
- 49:36Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, I've never met anybody in my life.
- 49:39Speaker 1: I'm playing problem playing Guard Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldan
- 49:44Speaker 1: Brooks and Duns Blake Shelton, Cole Swindale. Lady, ain't you
- 49:49Speaker 1: don't sit here and tell me you can't play none
- 49:52Speaker 1: of these songs. I want you to get on the
- 49:55Speaker 1: stage and sing the songs that we won't. We ain't
- 49:58Speaker 1: got time to find another group. Everybody, what I don't know.
- 50:01Speaker 1: I don't feel about your stupid party. You know what
- 50:04Speaker 1: I'm saying. You came to us to play music, and
- 50:07Speaker 1: then we told you what we do right right now?
- 50:10Speaker 1: You know, right now, I feel like I feel like
- 50:12Speaker 1: we had a stand off and the oka al all right,
- 50:19Speaker 1: all right, let me let me talk to my band,
- 50:21Speaker 1: all right, because this is going this is going unnecessary
- 50:24Speaker 1: too far, you know what I'm saying. Maybe we can
- 50:25Speaker 1: make it work, all right? Let me ask you something?
- 50:28Speaker 1: Is Dre the bass player? Yeah? Correct? Okay? Can I
- 50:34Speaker 1: tell you something about Dre? What about him? Tree? Got

- 51:32Speaker 1: had to laugh. Kid. He went, Okay, I didn't want
- 51:35Speaker 1: to be clear. You don't want to say monkey? Yeah, man,
- 51:39Speaker 1: I said, yeah, I don't like too much. Yeah, where

- 54:02Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry LETTA thank you Nephew, subject why
- 54:07Speaker 1: the good Guys Always Finished? Last. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:10Speaker 1: a forty nine year old black man and I met
- 54:12Speaker 1: a thirty nine year old black female and we hit
- 54:15Speaker 1: it off. She told me she'd just gotten out of
- 54:18Speaker 1: any emotion emotionally abusive relationships, so I wanted to treat
- 54:22Speaker 1: her extra special. She told me that she wasn't used
- 54:25Speaker 1: to men being honest and reporting in to her throughout
- 54:29Speaker 1: the day. I thought that it may be too much
- 54:31Speaker 1: for her to handle because she has major trust issues,
- 54:34Speaker 1: but I stayed with her. I was happy to help
- 54:37Speaker 1: with her bills. I even paid her rent for two
- 54:40Speaker 1: months when she got in a financial bind. Then the
- 54:44Speaker 1: drama started and she started comparing me to her old boyfriend.
- 54:48Speaker 1: She expects me to dress a certain way, and she
- 54:51Speaker 1: always criticizes how I get my hair cut. It's clear
- 54:56Speaker 1: she's accustomed to bad boys and that's not my style.
- 55:00Speaker 1: The more I did to help make her life easier.
- 55:02Speaker 1: The more disrespectful she got. When school started back, I
- 55:07Speaker 1: told her I could pick up her son daily and
- 55:10Speaker 1: keep him until she got off work. He's twelve and
- 55:14Speaker 1: she doesn't want him staying in the after school program
- 55:17Speaker 1: because of COVID nineteen. I work from home, so I
- 55:20Speaker 1: was trying to help. She had a fit about it,
- 55:23Speaker 1: and Darner accused me of indecency and wanting to spend
- 55:27Speaker 1: time with her son. I didn't like it one bit,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but after a day or two passed, I could see
- 55:32Speaker 1: where she was coming from. I've been with her for
- 55:34Speaker 1: ten months, so I thought it was cool, but my bad.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I talked to my pastor about my relationship, and he said,
- 55:41Speaker 1: some woman. Some women don't know a good man when
- 55:43Speaker 1: they see one, and she's one of them. I wanted
- 55:46Speaker 1: to show her a different way of life because she's
- 55:49Speaker 1: a beautiful woman. My pastor advised me to walk away
- 55:52Speaker 1: until she gets help. What do you think should I
- 55:55Speaker 1: let her go? Yeah? I think you should. I appreciate
- 56:01Speaker 1: what you're trying to do with her, but why continue
- 56:04Speaker 1: to put yourself through this? Really? I think your pastor's right.
- 56:08Speaker 1: She doesn't understand that she does have a good man.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Your intentions are good but unappreciated here. And do you
- 56:16Speaker 1: know how many women would love to have a man,
- 56:19Speaker 1: a good man like you, who helps him out financially,
- 56:22Speaker 1: helps him with the kids, and the big one one
- 56:25Speaker 1: who's honest and who checks in and does all the
- 56:28Speaker 1: things that you say you do. You're not over there
- 56:32Speaker 1: lying and cheating if you can't get her to reset
- 56:36Speaker 1: and reevaluate you and this relationship. I just think, you know,
- 56:40Speaker 1: she needs to realize that this is what she should want,
- 56:43Speaker 1: although she doesn't want it. You say she wants a
- 56:45Speaker 1: bad boy, then yes, I think you should let her
- 56:48Speaker 1: go and stop wasting your time. Steve, hey man, look
- 56:55Speaker 1: I got she may be beautiful, but some wrong. You know,
- 56:58Speaker 1: some people can't let go of the past and which
- 57:02Speaker 1: prevents them from having any type of future. How many
- 57:06Speaker 1: times have I said on this radio show that you
- 57:08Speaker 1: can't drive your car looking in the rear view mirror.
- 57:12Speaker 1: How many times have I said that? And this woman
- 57:15Speaker 1: right here, now she got a problem. Now she told
- 57:19Speaker 1: you she wasn't used to me and being honest and
- 57:22Speaker 1: reporting it in to her throughout the day. Now you
- 57:27Speaker 1: you you thought that might be a problem because she
- 57:30Speaker 1: wanted you to be honest and reported and you ain't
- 57:32Speaker 1: hand no problem. You give it a try, and you
- 57:35Speaker 1: know she got some major trust issue, and so you
- 57:37Speaker 1: stayed with her. Now you're helping out with her bills.
- 57:40Speaker 1: You paid the rent for two months when she got
- 57:43Speaker 1: in financial trouble. And now the drama started, and she
- 57:46Speaker 1: started comparing me to her old boyfriend. And here here
- 57:50Speaker 1: where we got to start thinking about getting out dog
- 57:53Speaker 1: if she was in an abusive relationship, emotionally abusive, and
- 57:59Speaker 1: wasn't getting cheat it right. She expects you to dress
- 58:03Speaker 1: a certain way, and she always criticizes how cutting my heir.
- 58:09Speaker 1: If you like the way he dressed better than me,
- 58:14Speaker 1: and you liked his hair cut better than me, why
- 58:18Speaker 1: don't you just go back to his abusive ass? WHOA See?
- 58:24Speaker 1: Now you know this is what non abuse looks like.
- 58:28Speaker 1: This is what non abuse dresses like. Now, if you
- 58:33Speaker 1: want the same old, same old, they're just going back
- 58:36Speaker 1: into it. But this is what non abusive looks like.
- 58:40Speaker 1: And this is what it dresses like. Now it's clear
- 58:44Speaker 1: she's accustomed to bad boys and that's not my style.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Well let her go get another bad boy. See, some
- 58:50Speaker 1: people ain't happy, man. Some people don't know how to
- 58:52Speaker 1: move on. Some people are so accustomed getting treated bad
- 58:57Speaker 1: that they think it's the norm. It's what President has
- 59:00Speaker 1: been doing to this country. He'd delied so many times
- 59:03Speaker 1: to these Republicans that they accepted as the norm. Now
- 59:07Speaker 1: he says it's a fraudy election. Guess what, Now everybody
- 59:10Speaker 1: believe it. Let her go and feel how she want
- 59:14Speaker 1: to feel. She liked bad boys, Go get another bad boy.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I'm not to do. Just high cut my hair. It's
- 59:24Speaker 1: a hair cut. I like a part in my hell.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I got to go to work. All right. We'll have
- 59:31Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 59:33Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, subject why the good Guys Always
- 59:37Speaker 1: finished Last? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, all right, Steve, come on, let's
- 59:45Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject why the good Guys Always
- 59:48Speaker 1: finished last? Why? I don't know, man, I can consider
- 59:53Speaker 1: myself a good guy. Bro. I'm doing all right, So
- 59:57Speaker 1: I don't think that's true. I think some good guys
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: end up with bad women. That's what I think, and
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: that's what I think happened in this letter. To this
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: for the year old man. Then a thirty nine year
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: old female hit it off. She was in an emotionally
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: abusive relationship, so he went out his way to treat
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the extra special. She said, she wasn't used to me
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and being honest and reporting it into her throughout the day.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: You know, I thought it might be a little bit
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: too much for me. But then she went on try
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to give it a shot, because you know, he went
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: on trying to give it because she got some trust issues.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: But I stayed with her. Then you're helping with her
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: bills and everything for two months. She got in fund.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: But then she started comparing me to her old boy Fred.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: She expects me to dress a certain way, and she
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: always criticized how I get my hair cut. Like I said,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: your abusive boyfriend dressed a certain way and got his
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: hair cut a certain way. Well, this non abusive man
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: dresses like this and gets his haircutting like this. That's
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: what makes me different from him. Now, if you want
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the same thing, then going back over there, it's clear
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: that she's accustomed to bad boys and that's not my style.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: The more I did to help make her life easier,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: the more disrespectful she got sea dog. Listen to me.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: She wanted them women where she ain't. She ain't happy
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: less there's some drama going on. But I know people
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: like that day. They just ain't happy lest some messages
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: going on. They don't know how to leave well enough alone.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: They don't do none of that. They just they just
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: got to have some junk going on. So when school
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: started back, I told I could pick up her son
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: daily and keep him until she got off work. He's twelve.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: She don't want him stand in after school program called
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: of COVID nineteen. So the brod tried to help out.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I work from home, so I was trying to help.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Now get a load of this. He tried to help.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: She had a fit about it, and damn near accused
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: me of indecency and wanting to spend time with her son. Wow,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I hold up. I didn't like it one bit. But
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: after a day or two passed, I could see where
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: she was coming from. One holder, man, Hold, at what
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: point do you see where a woman coming from that
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: is accusing you of being indecent with her twelve year
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: old son? What? What what did I do that? Oh?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I see where you're coming from. We was hugging what No,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: don't this is again? Now, I don't know if her
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: abusive relationship before included something with her son, and then
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you might have a problem because maybe something abusive happened
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: to her son. And if that's what you're talking about,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: then you can see where she's coming from. Oh Kate,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: But once again, bro, we ain't talking about you. Though,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: we ain't talking about you. So now I've been with
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: her ten months, I don't know how to hear you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: hadn't done this for ten months. Dog, ain't no way
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in him? So I thought it was cool. But my bad.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I talked to him a past about the relationship. He says,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: some women don't know a good man when they see one.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: That's true. I want to show her a different way
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: of life because she's a beautiful woman. My past advised
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: me to walk away until she gets help. Do you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: think I should let her go? Run? Dog? Yeah, dog,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: get out of air. Listen to me. Everything you do.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: She got a problem with you, try to help with
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: her son. She got problem with that you're dressed a
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: certain way. She got a problem with that. You get
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a hair cut, get the little pot put in your
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: head because you square you know she got a problem
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: with that. She don't like nothing you do. You help
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: her with her bills she made. You're sitting up here.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: She wants some drama in a lot. You know, y'all
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: just walking the house, start cussing. One day she'd go,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: oh my god, I love you. I love you. No
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: see Broun, listen to me. Your pastor is right until
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: she gets help. Walk away, because bro, you find to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: blow another ten months. I got she fine, But remember
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: what somebody's grandmama told me a long time ago. I
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: don't care how fine a woman is. There's a man
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: somewhere sick and tired of her ass. I don't care
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: how fine she is. You can believe that. I don't
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: care how rich you dude is. That's a woman somewhere.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Don't give a damn about that money a minute. But
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: there are some women somewhere and don't care about that.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Some woman to sit up in there and whatever. But
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: you know, man, I would get on out, man, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: go on and find you somebody that appreciates getting treated well.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I wish I would often take care of you little
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: punk as. And he accuse me of someone let it
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: bragged as staying I didn't get the cold. Yeah, but
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: there's no Steve. But there are plenty of women who
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: would have gate him, plenty. You got frustrated, sta we
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: got mad man went down here to so she don't
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: want to catch a cold? Well, I let him stay.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: You want to see my seven point m want to
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: see this little hardhead boy. I'm trying to help you out. Yeah,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: let's skip that. I'm not I'm not gonna continue to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: see nobody that accused me of being decent with a
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: little kid. Man. Let me you better get out of
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: that though. Yeah, all right. Post your comments on today's

- 1:06:33Speaker 1: this already talks of another possible fight of Mike Tyson.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: And y'all ain't gonna bleed this. You said, it's not
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: saying Mike Tyson. Okay, Okay, Mike Tyson. But he fights

- 1:07:00Speaker 1: thought it was but possible to fight against Evan the
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: holy Field. Tyson fought twice back in the day, back
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: in early Yeah. He holy Field say he gonna get
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: back in the ring with the same person who bit
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the ear. I'm holding my ears right now. Is he
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: gonna be high again like he said he was Saturday? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: So you know the first fight man here, he was
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: a great champ man let Brown. He beat Tyson left
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Brown the first time t KO. Then he won the
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: second fight against Tyson where he was disquite Tyson was
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: disqualified for biting the ear. But holy Field said, come

- 1:07:56Speaker 1: debts that I love it. I love twenty five million. Yes,

- 1:09:05Speaker 1: and truthfully to the American people is one of the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: most important duties of a president. The statement was taken
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: as a rebuke of the Trump administration, which, of course
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: has been criticized for attempting to spread untruth. Just call
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: it what it is, spread lies in the White House
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: briefing room while slamming the media for fake news. So
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: there you have it. The girl, the lates, the women

- 1:09:57Speaker 1: on Saturday. Twisted his ankle. A day later, doctors determined
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: that he suffered a hairline fracture or hairline fractures in
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: his right foot. He's going to have to wear one
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: of those orthopedic walking boots for a while several weeks. Actually, yeah,

- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Trump playing with his grandchildren, the grandkids up at the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: White House talking to Donald Trump? Anything? Have you seen
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: any sign of affection with Donald Trump and his wife?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: The only person he kissing the mouth is if uncle.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: You know. Milani slam that hand away every time, every
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: time that away away from me. That relationship gotta be over. Yeah. Meanwhile,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: the lame duck president is still in denial about the
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: election results. He also through the Justice Department and the
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: FBI under the bust, yet again claiming that they haven't
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: done their job by investigating his unfounded claims of voter fraud.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Ain't his board to hear to the d o J.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Bar oh attorney, he's ahead of d J. I don't
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: know what it is, but it's over. You're denial. We're
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: not counting on. Get them boxes in there. Let's get
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to the left. Everything you own in a box to
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the lab. The stuff off this night stand. Let's get
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: the bath room out of there. Let's just get get
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: all these toiletries. We don't need nothing. What is all this?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: That is all this saff in here? Get out? Yeah?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: What does he do with these golf balls in this bed? Man?
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Just do y'all think he's gonna refuse to leave? Though?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I hope you do. If yeah, yeah, it'd be great TV.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I hope. I hope they put him on a forklift
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and bring his as No. I want him to go
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: in with mace twist ties. All of it coming in.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Mister President, step outside, put your hands up, get on
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the ground, Get on the ground. That's what I want,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the whole thing, flash bangs and everything. And then he says,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: after the Electoral College confirms everything, then he'll leave. That's
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: what he said. But he's told like a hundred million lines.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I'll think he's gonna and Biden doesn't want him there.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I'm sure. Yeah, just give me my Bible so I

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: We've said it a lot, every lot. That's a good one,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: would you say, Steve, that's very close. That's close. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: yes yes. Pandemic. The word pandemic is not just technical,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: but it's become general now. It's probably the word by
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: which will refer to this period in the future. Other
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: buzzwords like quarantine, asymptomatic were runner up, runners up, So
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: there you go, pandemic corns. I thought sugar honey iced
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: tea was real big. You got more words? What else
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you got? If you could describe this year in one word?
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: What would it be that you can say sugar honey,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: sugar honey, ice issue like blackish, like sugar honey, sugar

- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I'm grateful. So the key, gratefully the key. More of
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Morning Show and Entertainment News. All right, Tommy, listen up.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Halle Berry is responding and laughing off negative comments made
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: by Lisa Ray regarding her sex life. Lisa Ray made
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: a comment about Hallie sex life while on Fox Souls
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Cocktails with Queens with her co host Claudia Jordan, Vivica A. Fox,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: and Selena Johnson. The comments made centered around the reputation
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: of Hallie not being great in bed. When Lisa Ray
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: was asked to clarify whether she was insinuating that Hallie
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: was a bad lover, Lisa Ray said, that's what they say,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: that's what I read, that's what I heard. Hallie then
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: retweeted an article that covered the Cocktails with Queen's segment
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: and wrote, miss at the real Lisa Ray. One asked,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: my man Van Hunt, He'll tell you all you need
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to know, and then she you know, ended it with
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: the crying laughing emoji. Uh. Hallie's sex life has been
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: a hot topic recently after earlier this month, she revealed
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: that she had her first orgasm at age eleven. Eleven. Well,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I didn't know what the hills going on that, Okay,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, trying to figure out.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I was trying to figure out what wrong I Why
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: am I sitting here watching this Elvis Presley movie feeling
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: this way? That's what I was trying to absorb and
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: work through and orgasm and even that's what Hallie said.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: But anyway, that Hallie ain't good in bed? What else
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: coming from what Hallie said? That's what she heard, and
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: that's what she read, and that's what they say. That's
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Lisa Ray said, you know streets. Yeah, I ain't never
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: heard that. Well, I ain't in the streets, so I
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: ain't never the streets just because she mean anything. Yeah,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: and Hallie took it well, Hallie Dally joked about it herself. Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: she's asked her an, I'll tell you all you need
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: to know. Yeah, go ahead until you hate, you hate.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: He got a hail. But but look, who's very quiet
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: though you hurt? I just don't like it what's talking
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: about her crying? I just don't like it when people
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: start talking about her and being disrespectful. It's her, what
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Hallie be, what Lisa Ray was doing, it's very disst slander,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: it's slander. It's just just just you're just wrong. You're
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: just not a good person. You're not do that. What
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: oh man, tell me I apologize for somebody speaking about
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you like that? Is this wrong? All yourself together? So quiet, Carla,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: because she's a good person. All right, coming up, it's
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: our last break of the day, it is. And if
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you don't believe it, stick around, And of course we'll
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Harvey coming up at forty nine minutes after right after this,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you're listening String Show, All right, Steve. Right before we
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: get to your closing remarks, we have to remind Georgia
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: that this is a very important election coming up. Here's
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the information for the Georgia Senate runoff date. You can
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: request your absentee ballot right now, because December seventh is
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the voter registration deadline in Georgia. Now December fourteen through
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: the thirty first early voting, that's when you can early vote.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: And then January fifth of next year, twenty twenty one
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: is the actual election day. That is when we will
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: go to the polls yet again and vote for Reverend
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Rafael Warnock and John Ossoff. We are sending them to
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: the Senate, We're sending them to DC. Okay, so here
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: he is an even number of Republicans and Democrats and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Vice President elect Kamala Harris will be the tiebreaker and
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: it would be a nice partying kill for absolutely. Absolutely.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And you know, let me clarify something that I said
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: in an earlier break that I had a blessed year.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I'm not a person who's callous and I do understand
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: that's people who struggle this year. I'm very aware of that.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: All I was saying was I feel so blessed this
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: year that I'm still alive, that my loved ones are here.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: And at the same time I realize that everybody's loved
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: ones ain't here. But the blessing in that is that
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you are. You know, nobody wants to lose a love one.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: All of us on this show have suffered that loss,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and I mean deeply close to us. Nobody wants that.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, I'm still grateful
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: that I'm here, that God has spared me, that God
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: has strengthened me and gave me the wherewithal and the
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: fiber and the strength to get through the difficult times.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: I've had a lot of bad news in twenty twenty,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: but I ain't had no more bad news than nobody else.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: It's some people that had some horrific news in twenty twenty.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Somebody asked me one time, in the middle of the pandemic, man,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: it's got to be the worst shiar of your life,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: wouldn't you say, I said, now, not twenty Actually wasn't
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: my worship? He said, Mary how could you say that
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: we ain't working right now? It's a pandemic. Brother. If
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I could describe to you some years of my life,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you would sit over here and feel the same gratitude
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I feel. But ain't that true about all of us? Though?
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: If you really take inventory of your life as rough
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: as twenty twenty has been, there are millions of us
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: listening to this radio show that has that's had rougher
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: years than twenty twenty. I know we didn't lost some
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: key people out there. I know some people have lost
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: some key people, but I hadn't lost some too, and
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I've had some rougher years. But through all of it,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the part that I maintained is the fact that God
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: has blessed me in spite of the things that life
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: has happened to have thrown at us. Of all the
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: things life has tossed you, don't you feel some sense
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: of gratitude for the fact that He strengthened you and
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: gave you favor, and he gave you mercy and grace
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: and allowed you to survive at all. Don't you get it? Man?
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Don't let the devil rob you of that moment of
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: realizing that there is a blessing behind some of these
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: moments of adversity. The devil's job is to make you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: think you ain't blessed. His job is to rob you
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: of your destiny. His job is to make you not
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: be able to see the good things that God has
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: done by causing you to focus on only the things
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: that's happening in your life that's negative. But I have
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: news for you. Everybody has something negative going on in
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: their life. Every last one of us has something negative
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: going on in our life. You're not the only one.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: But the devil will get up in your head and
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: have you thinking yours is worse than anybody else's. And
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you going through something that you can't believe because that
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: you ain't nobody else you know going through it, but
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: just somebody going through it. And it's somebody going through
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: it way in you. So, in spite of all of it,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: find the gratitude in twenty twenty. I know it just
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: seems like one big piece of bad news after the next,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: But there's some good in this. Man, You just got
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to open your eyes and become keenly aware of all
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: the things God has done. God has been good to
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: so many of you, man, so many of you in
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: spite of how it went, But how about how it
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: could have went? Do you ever think about that? Sometimes?
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Because when it's going bad for me, you know, and
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: I have a tendency to do, I think, Man, this
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: could have been worse if it wasn't for His grace
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: and mercy. This could have actually been worse than it was.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: As bad as it is, as bad as it was,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: do you realize it could have been worse? Have you
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: ever thought about as bad as it was and as
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: bad as it is, do you know that it could
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: have been you? Have you ever thought about it? Man?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I do, and I get grateful when I'm having down moments.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I had one the other day. I caught myself and
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I started going over everything I was grateful for. Gratitude
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: erases a lot of misery, man. But if you never
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: take the time to become grateful, to show gratitude, you're
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: gonna miss out on a lot of blessings. Man, Because
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: as the devil parks itself around you and tries to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: get in your vision, your hopes, your dreams, your memory
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: and all of this, he will set it up to
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: where you can't see actually what God is doing for you.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Sometimes man, you have to realize that in your moments
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: of downness, in your moments of despair, that do you
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: really realize that God is processing you, that He's actually
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: preparing you for something you ask for. He it has
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: got to get you ready, gotta get you season some
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: problems you face so he can teach you how to
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: deal with them, so when they come the next wave,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: you'll know how to cope with them. God is good, man,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: don't ever lose sight of that. Please, don't be grateful.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: God is good. He always has been, he always will be.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Now let's get to the polls in Georgian vote, because
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: he gots to go and take them two seats with him. Amen.
