- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man, Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Man. God been good to me. Man, he's
- 2:17Speaker 1: been so good to me. Wow. You know why I
- 2:24Speaker 1: say it like that. What makes it amazing is because
- 2:26Speaker 1: it's been in spite of myself. I mean you know
- 2:30Speaker 1: what I mean by that. I mean I mean that
- 2:33Speaker 1: he's been good to me in spite of all the
- 2:37Speaker 1: craziness I've done, all the foolishness I've got myself involved with,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and not only got but knowingly got myself involved with,
- 2:47Speaker 1: all of the stupid decisions I've made. Put all that
- 2:53Speaker 1: to the side and he's still been good to me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Bring it all and put it on the plate, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: he still being good to me. Man. That's amazing man.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And I'm sure there's a lot of people that can
- 3:05Speaker 1: say the exact same thing. I mean, come on, man,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody, got no
- 3:11Speaker 1: microphone in your face, I got nobody and got no
- 3:13Speaker 1: spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got no came
- 3:16Speaker 1: in your face. I got nobody problem and your body
- 3:18Speaker 1: blogging about you. But let me tell you so, if
- 3:21Speaker 1: you break it down and be real about it, Oh
- 3:23Speaker 1: you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't done
- 3:26Speaker 1: something ladies included. You've done something out the box. You
- 3:29Speaker 1: woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 1: We've all done it. So with all that's said and done,
- 3:38Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:42Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And it's and it's willing is willing man to show
- 3:49Speaker 1: you your future. He is willing to show you your life.
- 3:53Speaker 1: He is willing to let you take a peek at
- 3:56Speaker 1: the blueprint. Man. That's an amazing God right there. Because
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't know, I know I couldn't do it. I
- 4:02Speaker 1: couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him, you know, today man,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I want to encourage brothers out there. And when I
- 4:08Speaker 1: say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's of the male species.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I don't care about your color. I really really don't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't even have time for that in my day
- 4:17Speaker 1: a matter a matter of fact. Sometimes when you get
- 4:19Speaker 1: to discussing race, and I just get tired of it sometimes,
- 4:21Speaker 1: so I just wish, you know, some some days I
- 4:24Speaker 1: just want to wake up, just do me. You know.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I I got what what what the skin tone is?
- 4:29Speaker 1: I got that. But I just want to wake up
- 4:31Speaker 1: some days and just going by my business and do me.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I don't want to have to deal with something. I
- 4:35Speaker 1: get tired of talking about the issues ain't gonna make
- 4:37Speaker 1: them go away. But sometimes I get tired, so to
- 4:39Speaker 1: damn talking to brothers, all the brothers of the male species.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about men today. Man. If if if you
- 4:48Speaker 1: ain't doing it all, if you're feeling empty, man, start
- 4:51Speaker 1: today completing your your process and your journey. And you
- 4:55Speaker 1: know what I'm saying by that, if there's a part
- 4:57Speaker 1: of you're just missing as a man, and and and
- 5:00Speaker 1: and now, man, I'm talking to you so you know
- 5:03Speaker 1: some ladies listening, but you know what I'm talking about.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's it's some part of you that's missing as a man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: if you ain't really been in touch with your kids
- 5:12Speaker 1: like you supposed to now for whatever the reason is.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And please no, I do understand how sometimes women can
- 5:22Speaker 1: use children as pawns. It happens all the time. I've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been through it. I've been through it, man, I know
- 5:28Speaker 1: what it feels like, man to want to do something.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But because you ain't got this or you ain't doing
- 5:34Speaker 1: this thing, I ain't gonna let you have this. You
- 5:36Speaker 1: gotta fight through, Fellas, you got to fight through. You
- 5:41Speaker 1: got to fulfill your end of the deal. And I
- 5:45Speaker 1: got how difficult they're making it. I got how man,
- 5:48Speaker 1: it's gonna come with some drama, but you gotta fight
- 5:51Speaker 1: through it. Because man, we need fathers to be fathers.
- 5:55Speaker 1: That's really what we need. If you're a man out
- 5:57Speaker 1: there and you are a father of a child, we
- 6:00Speaker 1: need you to do your job. We I'm talking about
- 6:04Speaker 1: the our community, our situation, us as a people, all
- 6:09Speaker 1: of us. We need you to be a father, period. Hey, man,
- 6:15Speaker 1: I ain't coming down on you. I'm just your boy.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm your man. And I've been in the same predicament,
- 6:22Speaker 1: in the same hole myself. Why I couldn't get to them,
- 6:26Speaker 1: where they were used as pawns, where they were told
- 6:29Speaker 1: things about me that wasn't even true. I've been through it.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You can't see him, you don't come on, okay, okay,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I got all that. You ain't sent this. You ain't okay,
- 6:37Speaker 1: Hey got all that? If if, if you can call
- 6:42Speaker 1: them sometimes, tell them you're thinking about them, Tell him
- 6:46Speaker 1: you love them. If you can get a letter to him,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if you can get a message to your children through
- 6:52Speaker 1: one of your relatives, start the process today. Be a father.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's your job now. Because you're ignoring him. Are you
- 7:02Speaker 1: acting like they ain't over there? Or you don't back
- 7:04Speaker 1: him out of your mind because the situation got too difficult.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got that, I got that. But you got to
- 7:11Speaker 1: step up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You gotta send the money. If she talking about If
- 7:16Speaker 1: you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna see him.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Send what you got. If she if taking it over
- 7:21Speaker 1: there is too much drama, send it through a relative,
- 7:23Speaker 1: give it to her mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:25Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:27Speaker 1: for the baby. Because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:30Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:33Speaker 1: to pay when you have to deal with that, because
- 7:36Speaker 1: clearly I know hell have no fury like a woman's going.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Please know I know that. Please no, And that's a
- 7:43Speaker 1: real statement. That ain't no saying, Steve got That's that's
- 7:46Speaker 1: the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you
- 7:51Speaker 1: have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long way
- 7:56Speaker 1: to your children. Just hey, look, because I've made it's
- 8:00Speaker 1: apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't there
- 8:04Speaker 1: for you. I was out grinding and hustling, and I
- 8:08Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I apologize. No. I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:14Speaker 1: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:16Speaker 1: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologize for
- 8:19Speaker 1: sending you through that. But now, man, I'll tell you what.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:31Speaker 1: and daughter. I want to be in your life. I
- 8:34Speaker 1: ain't got a lot, but guess what, I know a lot,
- 8:37Speaker 1: because if you're a man and you're a father, please
- 8:39Speaker 1: know you know something that child don't know. You have information,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you have experience. That's all they needs. Sometimes they have
- 8:46Speaker 1: somebody to talk to. That daughter yours just needs to
- 8:50Speaker 1: know from her daddy, how should a man treat me? Dad?
- 8:55Speaker 1: What should I look for in a man? See, they'll
- 8:58Speaker 1: take that information from you because they know it's coming
- 9:00Speaker 1: from the right place. And then you know that your
- 9:03Speaker 1: son needs you because you know how difficult it is
- 9:07Speaker 1: if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You already know how funky that is right there. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: come on, man and met your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:20Speaker 1: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:23Speaker 1: note up to the school. Do something, man, Get your
- 9:26Speaker 1: thinking caps on, fellas, but stand up and be fathers. Man,
- 9:31Speaker 1: make the step to be fathers. Do you know that
- 9:35Speaker 1: if every man that was a father would just stand
- 9:39Speaker 1: up and be a father's that would be no need
- 9:41Speaker 1: for half the mentoring programs we're trying to start out here.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But we have mintoring programs because there's such a lack
- 9:48Speaker 1: of fathers out there. But guess what, it really ain't
- 9:51Speaker 1: no lack of fathers out there, because y'all have made
- 9:54Speaker 1: these babies and you got these kids, and it was
- 9:57Speaker 1: you and it's your seed. So it's your job. It
- 10:01Speaker 1: ain't my job. It ain't my job to raise your kids.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's your job. Now, Fellas, Like I say, I ain't
- 10:11Speaker 1: coming down on you, but I'm telling you the truth. Now,
- 10:14Speaker 1: why is it that I'm lying in this hill. You
- 10:18Speaker 1: made a baby, that's your baby, that's you'll see. They
- 10:21Speaker 1: look just like you. That's your job. If those of
- 10:27Speaker 1: us that are fathers would just be fathers, I could
- 10:31Speaker 1: shut the mentory and camp down. Now. I will say
- 10:36Speaker 1: I apologize because I don't want you to think I'm
- 10:38Speaker 1: coming down on you. But I've been through this myself.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I ain't really coming down. I'm just reminding you this
- 10:44Speaker 1: is our job. These are our children, this is our responsibility.
- 10:48Speaker 1: We all men. There is no excuses. You you don't
- 10:52Speaker 1: get you don't get cut a brake on that one.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Sorry you're listening to ladies. Gentlemen, May I have your attention, please,
- 11:05Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make no steak Body,
- 11:10Speaker 1: Make no steak body, and what it is? All right?
- 11:18Speaker 1: That's up, hey Steve, how you doing? You good calling
- 11:22Speaker 1: for real? Good morning Steve. What's up? Crew? Julia? Morning up,
- 11:27Speaker 1: Jethan and Brown. I'm the captain lofting Tony We okay, fantastic,
- 11:34Speaker 1: fantastic boy. You went way back. Yeah. Well, yeah, yesterday
- 11:44Speaker 1: I couldn't know watch the hearing because I was working
- 11:49Speaker 1: all day. Yeah, he didn't see No, I didn't see
- 11:53Speaker 1: much of it at all, So he gonna get all
- 11:56Speaker 1: he's gonna get voted here in the day. Well, yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: looks that way. It was a sad day though, you
- 12:04Speaker 1: know it was. It was a sad day to watch.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You know what has come to our country, politics, the division,
- 12:13Speaker 1: you know, the partisan politics. It was just a I
- 12:17Speaker 1: don't know, a sad state. Yeah. Victims rights, women's rights, yea.
- 12:26Speaker 1: The sad part of it is to me, it's exactly
- 12:29Speaker 1: what a combination of what all of you are saying.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Power and position precedes and has presidents over everything. Oh yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 1: they could care less what happened to this woman. We
- 12:43Speaker 1: need a conservative, right wing Republican judge. Period, so we
- 12:48Speaker 1: can have more of what we want in place in
- 12:51Speaker 1: terms of policies and laws. They don't care what this
- 12:56Speaker 1: woman is. And as Kamala Harris, democrats from Carolina said
- 13:01Speaker 1: Senator Kamala Harris, I mean from UM said Carolina, California.
- 13:06Speaker 1: But as she said, they voted in Neil Gorcis. He
- 13:09Speaker 1: was conservative. He was a Trump pick. Uh. They need
- 13:13Speaker 1: a conservative judge that doesn't have this looming over his head,
- 13:17Speaker 1: this sexual assault charge looming over his head like this,
- 13:21Speaker 1: that's what they need, you know. They voted in uh,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Neil Gorcie. He got in there, and and they would
- 13:26Speaker 1: vote in another one, she seemed to be saying, but
- 13:28Speaker 1: not this guy. Look, it's gonna be some Republicans and
- 13:34Speaker 1: conservatives as judges. It's gonna be some Democrats. I got that.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You've gotta have a right wing and a left wing
- 13:41Speaker 1: for the for the Okay, I got that. That's not
- 13:45Speaker 1: the problem. She is absolutely correct about this. The sad
- 13:49Speaker 1: part about this is normally you would have some type
- 13:54Speaker 1: of investigation to find out who's telling the truth. But
- 13:58Speaker 1: I do not believe that as woman would come forward,
- 14:01Speaker 1: put another man in the room and create this story.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I believe this happened to this woman. She was very believable.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Even Republicans said she was believable. She was very believable.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And when we come back, I'm gonna share with you
- 14:16Speaker 1: what somebody said to me. All right, Uh, when we
- 14:20Speaker 1: come back, like Steve said, uh, he'll share some more
- 14:23Speaker 1: of history and we'll talk more about the Senate hearings yesterday. Um, wow,
- 14:30Speaker 1: the Judiciary Committee, and we'll be back at thirty two
- 14:34Speaker 1: after the hour right after this. You're listening to well, Steve,
- 14:39Speaker 1: we talked about it earlier. Dr Christine blas Ford began
- 14:43Speaker 1: her appearance yesterday morning, uh, in a session before the
- 14:46Speaker 1: Senate Judiciary Committee. And after she gave her testimony, then
- 14:51Speaker 1: Judge Brett Kavanaugh gave his. But before we get into that,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you said you were going to share a story with us. Well,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I just said, somebody was talking to me today and
- 15:00Speaker 1: it was a couple, a guy and a and a woman.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I don't want to mention their names, it's not important.
- 15:07Speaker 1: They came up to me and they said, Steve, we've
- 15:09Speaker 1: heard everything you said about this, but let me ask
- 15:12Speaker 1: you something. Have you ever made any mistakes that you
- 15:15Speaker 1: had to be forgiven? For I said, a little over
- 15:18Speaker 1: half a million. So I said, okay, So where we're
- 15:23Speaker 1: going with this? They said, how long does a person
- 15:27Speaker 1: have to pay for a mistake? They said, now, I
- 15:32Speaker 1: don't know. But didn't you make mistakes when you were
- 15:35Speaker 1: in high school? I said, I made tons, I stole
- 15:38Speaker 1: some stuff. I jumped on some people. I did a
- 15:42Speaker 1: lot of stuff. I ain't never assault it no woman,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I said, so, if you're going down that route, no,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I got probably probably forgave me for stealing them, for
- 15:52Speaker 1: jumping on a couple of people. I got that. I
- 15:54Speaker 1: never assaulted a woman. He said, But this is it
- 15:57Speaker 1: was in high school and he made the mistake. I said,
- 16:01Speaker 1: here's the problem I have. Now we're trying to give
- 16:04Speaker 1: a job to a guy that's a lifetime appointment of
- 16:07Speaker 1: the most highest court in the land, The most honorable
- 16:12Speaker 1: position available in America is a Supreme Court justice. I said,
- 16:17Speaker 1: the problem that I have is, as you're saying, he
- 16:21Speaker 1: probably made a mistake in high school. I could live
- 16:24Speaker 1: with it if he would say, hey, I did do
- 16:27Speaker 1: that when I was a high school student. It was
- 16:30Speaker 1: a horrible mistake. I'm glad it wouldn't. No further, my
- 16:34Speaker 1: humblest apology. I would have a better time for giving
- 16:37Speaker 1: a brother. But if you're gonna lie about it at
- 16:41Speaker 1: fifty three, on the eve of your coronation into the
- 16:46Speaker 1: highest most trusted position in the in America, the Supreme
- 16:51Speaker 1: Court Justice, if you're gonna lie and say you don't
- 16:54Speaker 1: know her, you didn't do this, see you, Lyne thirty
- 16:59Speaker 1: six years later? Now now for that right there? What
- 17:03Speaker 1: you want me to do with you? Now, partner? See,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I would be better with the man if he said,
- 17:09Speaker 1: man I was a high school student. I would. Man,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I probably did that. I'm so so grateful that it
- 17:16Speaker 1: getting go any further to her and any pain I've
- 17:19Speaker 1: caused this woman, I'm more than apologetic about it. Man.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It would give her something, And at the same time
- 17:27Speaker 1: I can say, wow, man, God made a mistake. Admitted
- 17:30Speaker 1: to it. He was in high school seventeen. I would
- 17:33Speaker 1: have a better time trying to grapple with it. But
- 17:37Speaker 1: if you're gonna listening to this woman yesterday, if you're
- 17:40Speaker 1: gonna lie at fifty three years old about something you
- 17:43Speaker 1: did a seventeen, that don't really speak volumes for your
- 17:47Speaker 1: character right now? Dog? But okay, Steve, let's look at
- 17:50Speaker 1: it this way. I've yet to find someone who has
- 17:53Speaker 1: been charged with something like this to admit it initially.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I mean, we can go down the line with men
- 17:59Speaker 1: who've been charged, you know, time after time after time,
- 18:03Speaker 1: from President Bill Clinton to you know, on and on
- 18:06Speaker 1: and on Bill. Everybody said they didn't do it at first.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Everyone says that. So I don't know if you're going
- 18:12Speaker 1: to get anyone to just right say, you know, when
- 18:17Speaker 1: you initially asked them if they did it, If they're
- 18:19Speaker 1: not going to lie, I mean, you're not gonna get that.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But I said I would take it better if a
- 18:26Speaker 1: person came to me and said, Miles, in high school,
- 18:29Speaker 1: I got drunk, I was with another dude. He jumped
- 18:32Speaker 1: on the bed and bumped us off. She ran out.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm so glad she got out. Man, it would have
- 18:36Speaker 1: been a horrible mustain. I'm so sorry I could talk.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I can forgive you for that. I can forgive you
- 18:45Speaker 1: for that. But at fifty three, if you're sitting over
- 18:48Speaker 1: there with the woman and you're gonna steal lie about it,
- 18:52Speaker 1: but were you lying on the eve that we're gonna vote,
- 18:54Speaker 1: whether you get one of the greatest positions available to
- 18:57Speaker 1: you as a judge. Come on, man, your character right now?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Bart Kavanaugh to me is a liar. Bret Bart, what
- 19:05Speaker 1: difference he makes the duel is a liar because that
- 19:10Speaker 1: woman right there, it's no way this woman brings this
- 19:13Speaker 1: up with another man's name in the room. Now, if
- 19:17Speaker 1: you go find his drunk ass, alcoholic ass dude that
- 19:21Speaker 1: that wrote these two books about being a drunk, if
- 19:23Speaker 1: you could get him to remember any damn thing, but
- 19:27Speaker 1: at least have an investigation. But it's not just this woman.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's some old women that they came out. They don't
- 19:33Speaker 1: even want to hear from them. Ain't no FBI, but somebody, man.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I think their minds are already made up. All we
- 19:42Speaker 1: can hope for is that there is some amount of
- 19:46Speaker 1: decency in the Great Moral g OP Party. I don't
- 19:52Speaker 1: think that. Don't get ready, get ready, y'all because about
- 20:00Speaker 1: to find out if it's any left, and it's not,
- 20:03Speaker 1: it's looking slim because they are riding with the leader
- 20:08Speaker 1: who ain't got no problem lying. I mean, man, this dude,
- 20:12Speaker 1: this president said it's six years ago. Yeah, where's the
- 20:17Speaker 1: police report? Where's that? Then he said, if this hadn't
- 20:20Speaker 1: happened to me. If this hadn't happened to me, I
- 20:24Speaker 1: wouldn't be as understanding what I've been falsely accused. Yea twice.
- 20:34Speaker 1: We know accurately. Dog, you haven't bought a chick off, Dog,
- 20:40Speaker 1: you haven't took a chick to your house where your
- 20:43Speaker 1: wife stayed. His morality is real low. He's the leader
- 20:50Speaker 1: of the party, so how how do you expect? And
- 20:53Speaker 1: they all got to follow if they want to keep
- 20:55Speaker 1: their power in their position. You know. The thing that
- 20:58Speaker 1: tripped me out was on Fox News. She saw an
- 21:00Speaker 1: interview having Off did on Fox Projects of the Church.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Now he gets in front of of the committee and
- 21:09Speaker 1: now all of a sudden, we drank in high school. Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: we did a lot of drinking. Now it's two different versions. Now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: this woman's story stayed the same the whole time. Yeah,
- 21:16Speaker 1: he changed because DA was gonna bust him in a lot.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Yeah all right, Well coming up, Well we'll change gears
- 21:26Speaker 1: for a minute here and come back to this. We'll

- 28:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Doesn't see what I'm talking about? That

- 28:59Speaker 1: You're gen that would have that would have been telling
- 29:01Speaker 1: me though, because I keep yeah stupid. Did you come around?

- 29:54Speaker 1: a great time, your time. I got you till you
- 29:57Speaker 1: get back. All right? Coming up in entertainment news, Jennifer
- 30:05Speaker 1: Hudson will play the Queen of Soul in a biopic,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and christ Higen she's clapping back again. We'll talk about it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Show. All right, guys. In today's entertainment news,
- 30:21Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson is about to start in the role of
- 30:25Speaker 1: a lifetime. Jennifer was on The Ellen Degenerous Show and
- 30:29Speaker 1: she opened up about playing Aretha Franklin. I remember in
- 30:32Speaker 1: one of the Queen of Souls interviews she said that
- 30:35Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson was on the list to play her in
- 30:37Speaker 1: a biopic. Jennifer says, it's always been my dream to
- 30:41Speaker 1: play Aretha, and it's actually happening. Congratulations, congratulations to Jennifer Hudson.
- 30:48Speaker 1: I think she's absolutely perfect, perfect choice. Yes, and let
- 30:52Speaker 1: me tell you something. That girl can flat out saying
- 30:55Speaker 1: oh absolutely, yes, sir, Yeah, I think she's absolutely I'm
- 30:59Speaker 1: out a fact. I don't really know anybody who could
- 31:01Speaker 1: do a better job. You know. Look, there's some actresses. Well,
- 31:05Speaker 1: I don't know if Fantasious the actress that Jennifer is.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because Jennifer the voice. Yeah, Fantasia, I don't
- 31:14Speaker 1: know if she has the acting experience. I think dream
- 31:16Speaker 1: Girls and all that stuff kind of gave Jennifer. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: and she does have an oscar on her shelf. But
- 31:25Speaker 1: Fantasia can sing. Now, who do you think is better? Well,
- 31:33Speaker 1: we're talking about a couple of slight different styles, just slightly.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I think if you won't just flat foot it good, ranching, bellowing,
- 31:49Speaker 1: I think it's Fantasia. If you want somebody that's more
- 31:54Speaker 1: rounded of a singer, uh, a lot of voice control quality.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I could probably do more styles, I would have to
- 32:04Speaker 1: go with Jennifer hud But I'll tell you what that's
- 32:09Speaker 1: really not. That's almost not a fair question. Because Jennifer Husson,
- 32:15Speaker 1: when she stand there and blow, you're gonna get your
- 32:17Speaker 1: feelings hurt. You're gonna find out something about Jennifer Husson
- 32:24Speaker 1: and both of them loved Aretha Franklin much. Both of
- 32:27Speaker 1: them loved her well again. Congratulations to our girl, Jennifer
- 32:31Speaker 1: Hudson and other entertainment news. When will people learn to
- 32:37Speaker 1: leave Chrissie Taguan alone? Uh? She can? You got? Another
- 32:42Speaker 1: social media site has had to take their account down
- 32:45Speaker 1: after coming for Chrissie Teagan. Chrissie recently posted a picture
- 32:50Speaker 1: of herself with shorter hair, and one of her followers
- 32:53Speaker 1: told her, you look beautiful, but you said, but you
- 32:56Speaker 1: should grow your hair long again. Girls with round faces
- 32:58Speaker 1: should not have short hair like that because it makes
- 33:01Speaker 1: your face look huge. Yeah, that's like, that's like the
- 33:07Speaker 1: lady who told you to take that beard off, right,
- 33:10Speaker 1: you know, thats off your face? That ain't your look? Yeah? Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and yourself. But how do you start off a sentence
- 33:23Speaker 1: with you look beautiful, but you should cut grow your
- 33:26Speaker 1: hair long again. Girls with brown faces shouldn't have short hair.
- 33:29Speaker 1: It makes your face look huge. What did Chrissie say? Christie, Chrissie,
- 33:35Speaker 1: Just like Steve, it's never one to let an opportunity
- 33:38Speaker 1: to clap back. Go to wait. She said, honestly, wow,
- 33:41Speaker 1: thank you because when I wake up each morning, I
- 33:43Speaker 1: wonder what whatever her handle was would do, and then
- 33:47Speaker 1: I try to make her as happy. Uh so this
- 33:50Speaker 1: was a mistake on my part. Yeah. After Christie's followers
- 33:57Speaker 1: jumped on board, the commenter was forced to delete her account.
- 34:01Speaker 1: So there you go. They do not play. Time for more, Um,
- 34:04Speaker 1: we'll talk about this with miss Anne. I'm sure a
- 34:07Speaker 1: time for more in the historic Kavanaugh hearing yesterday and
- 34:10Speaker 1: more headline Steve go ahead, that is, and gentlemen, miss
- 34:13Speaker 1: ann trip, thank you very much, and he has a
- 34:16Speaker 1: lot of stuff going on this morning. And welcome everyone.
- 34:19Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. A lot of
- 34:20Speaker 1: folks watched it, so I know a lot of people
- 34:22Speaker 1: folks out there. Did. The Saint Judiciary Committee yesterday finally
- 34:26Speaker 1: heard from the woman who says its Supreme Court nominee
- 34:28Speaker 1: Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were in high school.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Both Kavanaugh and Christine Blaisie Ford testified, with Dr Ford
- 34:36Speaker 1: going first describing how she was held down and then
- 34:39Speaker 1: later how she was muzzled and fear for her life.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Brett put his hand over my mouth to stop me
- 34:43Speaker 1: from yelling. This is what terrified me the most, and
- 34:46Speaker 1: it's had the most lasting impact on my life. It
- 34:50Speaker 1: was hard for me to breathe, and I thought that
- 34:53Speaker 1: Brett was accidentally going to kill me. After Dr Ford
- 34:57Speaker 1: spoke to the Judiciary Committee, Brett Kavanaugh denied allegations in
- 35:00Speaker 1: a mile stern and slightly weepy way. This whole two
- 35:04Speaker 1: week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit,
- 35:09Speaker 1: fueled with apparent pent up anger about President Trump and
- 35:13Speaker 1: the two thousand and sixteen election, fear that has been
- 35:17Speaker 1: unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of
- 35:21Speaker 1: the Clintons, and millions of dollars and money from outside
- 35:25Speaker 1: left wing opposition groups. He refused to answer either yes
- 35:29Speaker 1: or no. One asked if he would ask for an
- 35:31Speaker 1: FBI investigation into the charges against him level by now
- 35:34Speaker 1: three women. Nevertheless, Republicans say they intend to take a
- 35:38Speaker 1: vote on Kavanaugh's nomination later this morning and send the
- 35:41Speaker 1: match to the full standard for ratification. That's going to
- 35:43Speaker 1: take a vote. That vote is scheduled for nine thirty
- 35:46Speaker 1: this morning. Now this is over the objections and not
- 35:48Speaker 1: only the Democrats, but now the American Bar Association says
- 35:52Speaker 1: they should stop and they should investigate these charges before
- 35:55Speaker 1: they take a vote. But again, Republicans on the Judiciary
- 35:58Speaker 1: Committee or not, they don't care about that. Also, four
- 36:00Speaker 1: Republican governors say they should stop the vote, but they're
- 36:03Speaker 1: not going to do it. By the way, um, even
- 36:05Speaker 1: if he loses this vote in the committee, that his case,
- 36:09Speaker 1: Kavanaugh can still be put to the main the main Senate,
- 36:12Speaker 1: the full Senate, and he can be ratified. Is happening
- 36:14Speaker 1: before it happened with Clarence Thomas. Okay. President Trump apparently
- 36:18Speaker 1: like what he saw, by the way, tweeting that that
- 36:20Speaker 1: Kavanaugh's testimony wasn't his word, powerful, honest, and riveting. Okay.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Later today, something called a Million Fathers March takes place
- 36:28Speaker 1: in some ninety U S. Cities and twenty nine states.
- 36:30Speaker 1: It's an annual event designed to get dads involved in
- 36:32Speaker 1: their children's educations. Kenneth Broswell of Fathers Incorporated tells me
- 36:37Speaker 1: it takes various forms. It is going to be a
- 36:39Speaker 1: march at certain schools, but other schools are going to
- 36:42Speaker 1: be having daddy dads and doughnuts, and some schools are
- 36:45Speaker 1: going to be having full fledged programming some dads. Some
- 36:48Speaker 1: schools will have dads reading to their children. Some schools
- 36:51Speaker 1: will have dads volunteering that day for other things to
- 36:55Speaker 1: do around the school. But what we're trying to do
- 36:59Speaker 1: in the total ally of the effort is to make
- 37:01Speaker 1: sure that fathers are actually engaged in whatever the schools
- 37:04Speaker 1: need for them to do with respect to their education.
- 37:08Speaker 1: The fathers March dot Com find out what's going on
- 37:10Speaker 1: today's National Beer? Did Brett Kavanaugh says everybody likes beer?
- 37:17Speaker 1: Here's up Steve Harvey Nation find out if Uncle Steve
- 37:20Speaker 1: is smart than his nephew. Will be back twenty minutes
- 37:22Speaker 1: after the hour and Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:25Speaker 1: to show alright? Yesterday was historic, the historic hearing of
- 37:31Speaker 1: Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and it was a dramatic
- 37:35Speaker 1: day of testimony. During Christine Blasi Ford's opening remarks, she
- 37:40Speaker 1: emotionally recalled the assault in detail. Take a listen to this.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I was pushed onto the bed and Brett got on
- 37:47Speaker 1: top of me. He began running his hands over my
- 37:51Speaker 1: body and grinding into me. I yelled, hoping that someone
- 37:57Speaker 1: downstairs might hear me, and I tried to get away
- 38:01Speaker 1: from him, but his weight was heavy. Brett groped me
- 38:05Speaker 1: and tried to take off my clothes. I believed he
- 38:09Speaker 1: was going to rape me. I tried to yell for help.
- 38:14Speaker 1: When I did, Brett put his hand over my mouth
- 38:17Speaker 1: to stop me from yelling. Yeah, compelling, compelling testim very compelling.
- 38:25Speaker 1: See if and I'm in there in the coom. He
- 38:30Speaker 1: wasn't there. He was taking care of their children. Might
- 38:35Speaker 1: have been a little hot. You didn't left the car
- 38:38Speaker 1: runner and don't open this. Don't come back later in
- 38:46Speaker 1: the day yesterday knocked his ass out man and Joe
- 38:49Speaker 1: Keith and I'm sending his aim to him right. Then
- 38:52Speaker 1: Brett Havana came on. He was angry and defensive. He
- 38:56Speaker 1: said that the allegation will not get him to quit.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Then it was Senator Lindsey Graham from your state, James
- 39:03Speaker 1: not Carolina. Yes he is. He slammed the hearing as
- 39:07Speaker 1: an unethical sham, and Kavanaugh has nothing to apologize for.
- 39:12Speaker 1: He said, take a listen. If you wanted an FBI investigation,
- 39:15Speaker 1: you could have come to us. What you wanna do
- 39:18Speaker 1: is destroy this guy's life. Hold this seat open and
- 39:22Speaker 1: hope you win in You said that, not me. You've
- 39:27Speaker 1: got nothing to apologize for. He was angry, Lindsey Graham, Well,
- 39:34Speaker 1: listen to me. He's right. The Democrats want the seat
- 39:39Speaker 1: to be held open, but they came with a legitimate reason.
- 39:43Speaker 1: The mistake that was made on the Democrats part was
- 39:48Speaker 1: Feinstein or whatever her name is, had the letter weeks ago,
- 39:52Speaker 1: but now the lady asked to remain anonymous. She did so.
- 39:56Speaker 1: The fine Stein couldn't bring out the letter because the
- 40:00Speaker 1: lady asked him not to. In order for this to
- 40:03Speaker 1: have any effect, they had to convince the lady she
- 40:06Speaker 1: had to talk. After several attempts, she finally agreed. Then
- 40:11Speaker 1: they come forward. It was not too late. Now he
- 40:16Speaker 1: got the nomination, but that's still not too late for
- 40:19Speaker 1: an investigation, especially from something as such a serious allegation.
- 40:24Speaker 1: This ain't no he hit my car and then left
- 40:27Speaker 1: the park a lot without paying me. Right. Do you
- 40:29Speaker 1: want the truth or not that? Yeah? Alright, yeah. The
- 40:35Speaker 1: Judiciary Committee will vote on Kevina later this morning. We'll
- 40:38Speaker 1: all be watching, and the Flora will vote on Saturday.
- 40:41Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 40:43Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, So, Steve,
- 40:49Speaker 1: where is Tommy? What is going on with your nephew?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Where is he? You keep asking me? I know he
- 40:54Speaker 1: in Nashville. I know that he's in Nashville and he
- 40:59Speaker 1: worked last night. You haven't heard from him home here
- 41:02Speaker 1: from nephew. Yeah, you're the captain of team Tommy President.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I don't need to keep up with I don't know
- 41:16Speaker 1: where he on? You on you me? Ever? Man, you
- 41:19Speaker 1: don't have got me talking to me when you get
- 41:20Speaker 1: in trouble. He ain't in trouble down. That's setting out
- 41:23Speaker 1: all these shows, said nash Show. Then if old Show
- 41:26Speaker 1: didn't field, I guess I'm making it now on Steve.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Your phone's bringing answer your phone? Hello. You got to

- 43:49Speaker 1: I didn't said, are you for real? Dog? You thought
- 43:53Speaker 1: after the cavanof thing, we'll be working a dog. We
- 43:57Speaker 1: got bills to pay up in here. We whoever they
- 44:00Speaker 1: put the hell in there, we got to come to work. Okay,
- 44:02Speaker 1: let me ask you this here. You thought that, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: you thought we weren't working today? Why did you call me?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Always call you, you know, uh, checking on you. I
- 44:15Speaker 1: don't want to know. Hey, dog, Hey, tom let me um,

- 44:23Speaker 1: call check over? I'm at work. I'm working, dog. I
- 44:28Speaker 1: don't miss none of my gigs. Man, I understand that
- 44:32Speaker 1: how many shows did you do last night too? And
- 44:38Speaker 1: that that that's too much for you? Well, I mean,
- 44:40Speaker 1: I just I didn't think we were coming in the
- 44:44Speaker 1: day because we're trying to buy a chateau. Hey, we
- 44:49Speaker 1: got to get out of here. Listen, you're not here, nephew,
- 44:52Speaker 1: but Junior is, and he's gonna bring up the prank

- 45:16Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject he cheated and I embarrassed him.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Take my mind out. He cheated and I embarrassed him.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Is the subject for today's The Strawberry Right now, Junior
- 45:29Speaker 1: is then for the nephew with today's praying phone call.
- 45:31Speaker 1: What's you got, Junior? Gotta good with funny? What's your
- 45:35Speaker 1: Your son didn't make the tea? Yeah, your son didn't
- 45:40Speaker 1: make the tea? Read a cat. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 45:44Speaker 1: to reach Ms. Lillio. This is she. This is coach
- 45:49Speaker 1: Watkins up at the up at the school. How are you, hey,
- 45:52Speaker 1: Coach Watkins? I'm fine. What can I do for you? Listen,
- 45:56Speaker 1: We've had Malik out for the last week and a half.
- 45:59Speaker 1: He's been coming to pry this here at at the
- 46:01Speaker 1: Junior High School, and m wanted to reach out and
- 46:04Speaker 1: give you a call about everything that's going on. Oh yeah, well,
- 46:07Speaker 1: I know he's really excited. He can't wait to start
- 46:09Speaker 1: the season. He's he's he's ready. You know what, I'll
- 46:13Speaker 1: be honest with you. He's a great kid, and uh,
- 46:17Speaker 1: he's got a good heart, and he's really really really
- 46:20Speaker 1: trying and trying to produce as much as possible. Well,
- 46:23Speaker 1: you know, he loves the game and he's been playing
- 46:25Speaker 1: since he was a little kid. He yeah, yeah, and
- 46:28Speaker 1: you know this is uh, you know, this is the
- 46:30Speaker 1: seventh grade. This is the first time some of these
- 46:33Speaker 1: kids have played um organized football, and this is the
- 46:36Speaker 1: first time playing school football. And it's it's a big
- 46:39Speaker 1: it's a big transition that if you've been playing Little
- 46:42Speaker 1: League ball or Pop Warner or whatever you want to
- 46:44Speaker 1: call it, it's a it's a big difference, in a
- 46:46Speaker 1: big transition to go from one to the other. You understand, Yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I do understand. But Malik has been working really hard, yes,
- 46:53Speaker 1: and he's ready. Well well, well let me let me
- 46:55Speaker 1: say this. My main reason for calling you is letting
- 46:58Speaker 1: you know that Malik as right now, is not going
- 47:02Speaker 1: to be able to make the cut as far as
- 47:06Speaker 1: what you mean, he's not gonna be able to make
- 47:08Speaker 1: the cut as far as being on the team for
- 47:10Speaker 1: this year. Now, I got you said. Wait, wait, you
- 47:16Speaker 1: said that Malif he's not gonna be able to make
- 47:18Speaker 1: the team, he's not gonna make the team. He's a
- 47:22Speaker 1: great kid. You know, he's a great kid. You know,
- 47:24Speaker 1: he's a great kid. But women now, he didn't play
- 47:27Speaker 1: Pop Warner and he was a starting quarterback. So what
- 47:31Speaker 1: are you talking about? He's not gonna make the team
- 47:32Speaker 1: this year. He was the best toy had out on
- 47:34Speaker 1: that squad. Okay, and you know what I've I've heard
- 47:37Speaker 1: a lot about him. I helread he did a great job,
- 47:39Speaker 1: and he about him. Wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Have you seen his start wheny touchdowns in the season.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Understand the kids is out there doing that. But you
- 47:47Speaker 1: know what, but right now, we've got a lot of
- 47:49Speaker 1: different kids that are coming into this particular school, so
- 47:53Speaker 1: you know, the competition has gone greater and greater than
- 47:56Speaker 1: what we could possibly understand. Wait a minute, when this
- 47:59Speaker 1: is seven rain, First of all, everybody makes the team.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Nobody gets cut in the first place. You got an
- 48:04Speaker 1: A team and the B team. So you're telling me,
- 48:07Speaker 1: my baby, they made none of them teams right right now?
- 48:10Speaker 1: Ms Lydia, Uh you know, uh, Malick, Like I said,
- 48:14Speaker 1: Malik is a great kid. I like it. I know
- 48:16Speaker 1: what Malick is. I know that he's a great kid
- 48:18Speaker 1: and he's a ball player. Now I make sure that
- 48:20Speaker 1: so don't come telling me that he's not good enough
- 48:23Speaker 1: to make the cut on on this seventh grade team. Well,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I'm telling me who who is the quarterback? Who, yeah,
- 48:29Speaker 1: you tell me what's going on? Who is the quarterback? Well, actually,
- 48:32Speaker 1: right now, my my my my son is the quarterback.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Your son, but well meant actually the quarterback. He hasn't
- 48:42Speaker 1: done any pop warn or anything, but he really has
- 48:46Speaker 1: what it takes to be. He never played football before,
- 48:49Speaker 1: or he's never played organized football, but he he's gonna
- 48:53Speaker 1: be the quarterback for the seventh grade team. Is that
- 48:56Speaker 1: what you're telling me? Well, yeah, my son is actually
- 48:58Speaker 1: starting quarterback. But that but that easy to hear. No,
- 49:01Speaker 1: sons don't make the TV and my son score twenty
- 49:05Speaker 1: touch down? Twenty touchdown? Is that what you're telling me?
- 49:08Speaker 1: Hell no, I'm calling up to that cool tomorrow. I
- 49:11Speaker 1: will be up there tomorrow. Wasn't to me explain something
- 49:16Speaker 1: of no, no, no, no, no, no no. I don't
- 49:20Speaker 1: know what this is. It's nepotism or whateverything you got
- 49:23Speaker 1: going on around here. But hell no, my son ain't
- 49:26Speaker 1: Nathan what. Hell no, you're gonna be smoking the city
- 49:31Speaker 1: tomorrow when I get up there. Ms Lydia. What I
- 49:34Speaker 1: want to say this is this, if your son would
- 49:36Speaker 1: take a year off, lord and try to get itself
- 49:39Speaker 1: together and get his fundamentals together together, a greater football
- 49:45Speaker 1: player when he gets to be headed to the eighth grade.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Was the right star last year? What's you talking about
- 49:50Speaker 1: this fundamentals together? Yo said, ain't never even pros. But
- 49:53Speaker 1: you know what I've I've worked with my son and
- 49:55Speaker 1: you know, and it's a little on. It's a little
- 49:58Speaker 1: awkward for me to try to talk about what my
- 50:00Speaker 1: son has done. Yeah, it's gonna be hawf for you
- 50:02Speaker 1: to talk about because you don't know what your son
- 50:04Speaker 1: is done. Because ain't nobody ever seen your son? You
- 50:06Speaker 1: just got this dream probably something that you ain't did
- 50:09Speaker 1: you want to live vicars through him? Hell no, that
- 50:14Speaker 1: like little school. I played in hard school and let
- 50:17Speaker 1: me play this. I'm trying to do the best that
- 50:20Speaker 1: I can and the best of my ability to make
- 50:21Speaker 1: sure that everybody gets a good and fair shot at
- 50:24Speaker 1: what's going on. But he but he don't get to play.
- 50:27Speaker 1: So what about didn't get the probably work out? Show
- 50:35Speaker 1: that to the mother mother's that's some boy. I bet you.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I guarantee you this my son to be starting this year.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I guarantee you this. You don't want it to Okay?
- 50:42Speaker 1: Right now? All I can say is I need Malik
- 50:45Speaker 1: to actually bring his cliques back because my son's gonna
- 50:48Speaker 1: need him to play in him. Cleave your son again,
- 50:54Speaker 1: your son running down that field, Me gonna rust barefoot.
- 50:57Speaker 1: He ain't get mine nothing, man from records understanding is
- 51:01Speaker 1: that the clicks actually came from This is the one
- 51:04Speaker 1: that told you that my son can't fight your record sation.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Everybody thinking about your records. You your mama and the
- 51:11Speaker 1: day she bust your man. I'm not gonna sit and
- 51:14Speaker 1: go back and forth with you. All I'm trying to
- 51:17Speaker 1: say is in that mo league's gonna about to do
- 51:20Speaker 1: you start looking for a new get your resume together.
- 51:23Speaker 1: You know what, ma'am. I'm not gonna go back and
- 51:24Speaker 1: for I got one more thing I need to say
- 51:26Speaker 1: to you. Nothing that you ain't. You ain't got nothing
- 51:29Speaker 1: else to say to me. My son to be playing
- 51:32Speaker 1: and I'll be up there tomorrow. I have one more
- 51:34Speaker 1: thing I need to say to you or you listen.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Only thing you need to tell me who I need
- 51:38Speaker 1: to talk to tomorrow. Now. I'll let you know that
- 51:41Speaker 1: as soon as I tell you this are you're listening to?
- 51:43Speaker 1: I'm listening what this is, nephew caught me from the
- 51:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your sister Aina got me to

- 52:49Speaker 1: you know my nephew didn't make the team. I knew
- 52:50Speaker 1: he wasn't gonna make the team. You know, he didn't
- 52:53Speaker 1: make the band call. He halled band equipment, Like that's
- 52:59Speaker 1: his job. He's a manager of the band. Yeah, he
- 53:03Speaker 1: hall band equipment. That's here job, my nephew. Now he
- 53:06Speaker 1: wants me to come out to the game. Yeah, see

- 53:56Speaker 1: on parenting, and more, please submit your Strawberry letters to
- 53:59Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter,
- 54:03Speaker 1: right Steve, Yeah, asking girl, Yeah yeah, come all right,
- 54:14Speaker 1: it's that time. You already know his Time for the
- 54:16Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter with my friend Shirley Strawberry, Thank you friend.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Subject he cheated and I embarrassed him. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 54:24Speaker 1: My husband cheated on me two years ago when he
- 54:26Speaker 1: was away on a work related trip. I could tell
- 54:29Speaker 1: he was different when he got home. So for the
- 54:32Speaker 1: past two years I asked him over and over if
- 54:35Speaker 1: he cheated on me, and he denied it. About a
- 54:39Speaker 1: month ago, while we were in a heated argument, he
- 54:42Speaker 1: admitted that he cheated and told me who the woman was.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I went on Facebook and found the woman and saw
- 54:48Speaker 1: that they are still Facebook friends, and he comments on
- 54:51Speaker 1: her photos and sends her direct messages. That made me
- 54:55Speaker 1: even more angry. I felt betrayed and humiliated, so I
- 55:00Speaker 1: put a post on my Facebook page and tagged my
- 55:03Speaker 1: husband and this woman on the post, so it also
- 55:07Speaker 1: showed up on their Facebook pages. The post said, in
- 55:10Speaker 1: all caps, he cheated on me with her. I knew
- 55:14Speaker 1: it was impulsive and the wrong thing to do, so
- 55:17Speaker 1: I removed the post thirty minutes later. Well that was
- 55:20Speaker 1: long enough for everybody to see it and react to it. Now,
- 55:24Speaker 1: his entire family hates me. He's upset with me because
- 55:28Speaker 1: he says it could affect his job. He cheated on
- 55:31Speaker 1: me and kept talking to her for two years, But
- 55:34Speaker 1: I'm the bad person. Now. He has blocked me from
- 55:36Speaker 1: his Facebook page, and he opened another bank account for
- 55:39Speaker 1: his personal youth and I don't have access to it.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I know my marriage is wrecked, but I'm willing to
- 55:45Speaker 1: fight for it. Am I being a fool? Should I
- 55:47Speaker 1: just leave him and move on with my life? Look,
- 55:51Speaker 1: you didn't cheat on him. He cheated on you, remember that.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Let's not get this twisted. Let's not let anybody flip this.
- 55:59Speaker 1: None of that. You were. You were angry and like
- 56:02Speaker 1: you said, you felt betrayed and humiliated, and not to mention,
- 56:06Speaker 1: they are still in contact two years later and he
- 56:09Speaker 1: lied about it for two years. So so this is
- 56:12Speaker 1: what he gets. I say, he gambled on his marriage
- 56:15Speaker 1: with this other woman while he was out of town
- 56:17Speaker 1: for work, and he lost. Um. He says it could
- 56:20Speaker 1: affect his job. Well, I'd like to know how how
- 56:23Speaker 1: could this affect his job? You took it down the
- 56:25Speaker 1: post down after thirty minutes, right, Well? Has he is
- 56:29Speaker 1: he still working? Has he been fired yet? No, he's
- 56:31Speaker 1: still working, right, So don't take on that guilt for
- 56:35Speaker 1: any of this. As far as his family goes, you
- 56:38Speaker 1: are not married to them, Okay, you are not. He
- 56:41Speaker 1: did the cheating, he did the lying, and he's got
- 56:43Speaker 1: to pay for it. Sorry, Steve. Well, what an interesting letter.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you how I was feeling it. I'm
- 56:55Speaker 1: gonna read this letter and the thoughts that was going
- 56:58Speaker 1: to my head. As we will along, my husband cheated
- 57:03Speaker 1: on me two years ago when he was away on
- 57:06Speaker 1: a work related trip. I could tell he was different
- 57:09Speaker 1: when he got home. So for the past two years
- 57:13Speaker 1: I asked him over and over and over if he
- 57:18Speaker 1: cheated on me, and he denied. My man, my man,
- 57:26Speaker 1: that he denied it. Stay strong, Rijo la all the way,
- 57:33Speaker 1: keep reading. I was sitting here at Shirley. I didn't
- 57:36Speaker 1: interrupt you. I told you I was gonna give you
- 57:40Speaker 1: the letter as how I felt along the way. Pride
- 57:46Speaker 1: was feeling my heart up until that. He denied it
- 57:50Speaker 1: for two years, over and over in the home. About
- 57:54Speaker 1: a month ago, we were in a heated argument. He
- 57:59Speaker 1: admitted he cheated and told me who the woman was? What? Uh?
- 58:05Speaker 1: Keep reading? How stupid are you? Know what? Heated argument?
- 58:12Speaker 1: How you that damn man? You forgot to ride the
- 58:16Speaker 1: light out? What did he think that? He said? He did?
- 58:20Speaker 1: You know what I said? I mean, I ain't that
- 58:22Speaker 1: small quick calling me small? She don't think I'm small?
- 58:28Speaker 1: She I don't think I'm small? And you just confess
- 58:34Speaker 1: what don't know? So what your wife called you small?
- 58:41Speaker 1: What the hell you bring u? And he told me
- 58:47Speaker 1: who the want? That's I can't think of what he did? Argument?
- 58:50Speaker 1: You could have you can think I'm small. Don't nobody
- 58:53Speaker 1: else think I'm small? She ain't got no problem with me,
- 59:01Speaker 1: you damn food. So I went on Facebook and found
- 59:05Speaker 1: the woman and saw that they are still Facebook friends,
- 59:08Speaker 1: and he comments on her photos and send her direct messages.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Not in a part with That made me even more angry.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you got mader at that than the
- 59:21Speaker 1: fact that he cheated on him. You you what the
- 59:27Speaker 1: mad part was when he came out and told you.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Then you saw that they've been talking for two years,
- 59:34Speaker 1: you got madam. I felt betrayed and humiliated, so I
- 59:38Speaker 1: put a post on my Facebook page, tag my husband
- 59:41Speaker 1: and this woman on the post, so it also showed
- 59:45Speaker 1: up on their Facebook pages. The post said he cheated
- 59:50Speaker 1: on me with her. Well, that was true. Didn't he
- 59:55Speaker 1: tell you that's what he did? That was true? You
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: didn't lie. He told you that. See, this fool ain't
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: got nobody to blame for this but hisself. He told
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you it was Sheila because you kept calling him small.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: But that's probably what the heated argument was about, because
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell you can snap and
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: say names for. So he cheated on me with her?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I knew it was impulsive and the wrong thing to do. Well,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: two wrongs don't make a right. But posting he cheated
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: versus him cheating with another woman for several years, I
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: think yours was kind of pale in comparison. I think
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: yours was pretty small. So I removed the post. Thirty
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: minutes later. Well, you don't must not know about cyberspace,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: do you. They don't give a damn if you put
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: it down. Thirty minute later, somebody screen shot that baby.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Well that was long enough for everybody didn't see it.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Now he's entire family hate me. Why would you say
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he cheated Now he didn't talk. No, let me tell
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you why family hate you. Because he didn't told the
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: family he didn't cheat with her. He told the family
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: you trying to ruin him. That's why the family hate you. See,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: if the family knew he cheated on you, the women
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and the family would understand. But he hadn't told him,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you try. He hadn't told him. The family don't know
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: he cheated with this woman. I'll be back with the
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: rest of the all right, Well, well at first two
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: of Steve's response, coming hour right after this, you're listening
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Steve show. All right, Steve Let's recap today's letters subject
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: he cheated and I embarrassed him. It ain't nothing to recap.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: This woman, Uh got a husband went on the bars
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: the trip cheated on him. I didn't notice at first.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: She ask him about it. For two years, he held
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: on to the lie till the messed around. Got it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Heated agu. They was arguing about her not being satisfied.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Probably at the house. I could satisfy. You know you can't.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You too small? Probably said something like that. That hurt
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: him so bad. He was Sheila, don't think, who the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: hell is Sheila? The girl to think I'm bigg enough? Okay,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: So then he'd said her name. She didn't. Went on
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: lie and find a woman tagged impulsively his Facebook and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: her and said he cheated on me with her. Then
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the woman said I knew it was impositive, the wrong
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: thing to do. I removed the post thirty minutes later,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: but that was long enough for everybody to see and
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: react to it. Now his entire family hates me. His
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: family hates you because he didn't told them you ain't
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: never cheated on this woman, and now you didn't put
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: this on his page? Probably mess his job that's why
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the family hates you because they don't know the whole story.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: He's upset with me because he says it could affect
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: his job. Well it ain't. You didn't think the cheating
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: was gonna affect our marriage, Well here you go. He
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: cheated on me and kept talking to her for two years.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: But I'm the bad person now. He has blocked me
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: from his Facebook page. He opened another bank account for
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: his personal use and I don't have access to it.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I know my marriage is wrecked, but I'm willing to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: fight for it. Am I being a fool? Should I
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: just leave him and move on with my life? Well,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: first of all, I don't know how old you are.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I don't know if you've got children involved in this,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: But it takes two people to make a marriage work.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: What you really need to find out if he wants
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to make it work. You need to find out if
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: he wants to fight for you. Need to find out
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: if he wants your forgiveness. You need to find out
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: if he's done cheating. You need to find out if
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: he want to make it work with you. See you,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: you can go and fight all you want, but if
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: he ain't fighting with you, it ain't gonna work. So
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that's a real simple ask. Now, let me play you
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: something to He didn't open this checking account, and you
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: don't have access to it. I have an account that
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Marjorie has no access to. Marjorie has an account that
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I have no access to. We have that agreement because
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: even as a married couple, we still want to have
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: some form of individuality, and that's why we do it.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: She gets her allowance, I get my allowance. I'm not
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: allowed to ask her what she does with her money.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I can't stop her from spending. She wont to go
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: by grandkids cash me at Jackie's, which I'm against. I'm
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: grown sound against. Damn baby, grand baby, damn. I'm say
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you know, I got my issues too. But this her
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: account now, she can't say nothing to me. If I
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: want to buy four thousand cigars with my money, she
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: can't say nothing more. That's a lot in four thousand more. Uh.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: He blocked you from Facebook. See that's how you can
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: stay out of his business on Facebook. You know why
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: you blocked from Facebook? Because he's gonna say something else
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: on Faceboo to Sheila, Hell, yeah, but I got news
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: for I got news for you, though, she ain't only one.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You don't block nobody for one, No, there's some other
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: business for you. Get to dig in two deep, come
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: in no photos like isn't that Drew? Wow? So now
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you want to ask me and am I being a fool?
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Well not necessarily. But if he don't want the same
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: thing you want, you all food? Should I just leave
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: him and move on with my life? They got to
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: be young, because grown folks that don't say, do I
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: just leave him? Move on my life? So I'm assuming
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: y'all young. I don't know what the deal is. But
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: whatever the deal is, we can't make that call for
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you course, Shelly, can you leave him? Get you somebody else?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Because you didn't say that? Okay, what did you say?
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I said he made his bad. He's gotta lie in it. Now.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I agree with you. If if they're gonna make it,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you know they it has to be both of their decision.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: If not, looks like he's moving away from her though
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: different bank accounts, all of that different bank account blocked
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you on Facebook? And look good? Pretty stinky? Yeah, pretty funky? Okay,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, here we are. This is how the
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: woman's name came out. This was how the name Sheila
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: came into the argument because for two years it was denied,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: and then they got into a heated argument. Here is
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: what happened. White lying, Brad, I'm not lying, Brad. Look
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: me in the face and tell me you're not lying.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I know you lying. I just want to hear the
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: truth from you, because I know I'm looking at you.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I ain't been with nobody. I keep telling you how
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: many times I gotta tell you, why are you lying
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to me? I ain't lying, baby, I'm telling you that
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you keep asking me, saying what you want me to do.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: You're lying this not on top of that? And you're
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: small too? What you heard me? You're small? What you
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: mean I'm small? What other definition of small do you need? What? What? What? What?
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I'm small? How small? Like that's small? His example? Though,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you're talking about my parts, every pot, every part small
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: small as in small small. I bet she don't think
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I'm small? Yeah, yeah. On the trip she was in
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the hotel, Holly, pretty out, All right, we got a guy,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: We get we get it. Guys, we gotta get out
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: of here. You can email up here to came knocking
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: on the door or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey you small so small walk
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: passing all right? Coming up in ten minutes more of
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: historic hearing on Kavanaugh and Dr Ford. You're listening to
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. At the Senate Judiciary Committee
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: hearing yesterday, Dr Christine blais Ford began her appearance in
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: an extraordinary session by reading a prepared statement, speaking with
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: visible emotions. She was very emotional. She said she was
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: terrified Steve to give her testimony, but felt it was
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: her civic duty to tell the committee what had happened
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: to her and Brett Kavanaugh while they were in high school.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Then in the afternoon, it was Brett Kavanaughh's turn. He
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: came out angry, guns blazing. He said, I've never sexually
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: assaulted anyone. Judge Kavanaugh's sharp criticism of the Democrats was crazy.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: He went in on the Democrats and a long, angry,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: detailed statement. His statement. His opening statement was about forty
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: five minutes long. He frequently um interrupted as he tried
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and repeatedly failed to fight back tears. Perspective. Supreme Court
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Justice Brett Kavanaugh defended himself to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Take a listen. You've given it your all. No one
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: can question your effort. But your coordinated and well funded
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: effort to destroy my good name and destroy my family
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: will not drag me out. The vile threats of violence
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: against my family will not drive me out. You may
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: defeat me in the final vote, but you'll never get
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: me to quit. Never. Wow, that's great. If game, that's halftime,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go out and weird one for the Dr
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Christine Blasi Ford said that she was certain it was
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Brett Kavanagh who assaulted her. Kavanaugh pushed back, said, uh,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: that is confirmation. Now turned investigation has become a national disgrace.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: He said it was a circus. I mean he was
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: belligerent and defiant in in you know, the whole afternoon,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and the Republicans basically took up for him. The senators, Um, yeah,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: they took up for him. You know, the woman, the prosecutor,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the prosecuting attorney, steve that they had come in from Arizona. Um,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Rachel Mitchell was her name. During the first half, she
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: questioned Dr Ford, But when it came to Brett Kavanaugh,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Judge Kavanaugh, the senators, I guess had had enough. She
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: asked him one question and then they took over from
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham on Yeah, she retired at like she just
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: retired at Halfttack from the Buffalo Bills and shed from
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: the exactly exactly. I want to see the film in
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: that game who hit him? Yeah? That made him go,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I'm not not coming back. I'm taking a shot, you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: know what. I'd like to see him taking his clothes off,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: doing the tup to himself and and not going back
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: out there. That's the video out. Also during the testimony,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Steve Um, Senator Amy Globuchar had asked Judge Kavanaugh if
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: he had a drinking problem. Then he returned, he turned
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: around and asked her the same question. Take a listen.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: So you're saying there has never been a case where
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you drank so much that you didn't remember what happened
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the night before. A part of what happened you're asking about, yeah, blackout.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I don't know, have you. Could you answer the question,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Judge and just to you that's not happened. Is that
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: your answer? Yeah? And I'm curious if you have. I
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: have no drinking problem. Okay, I know I am What
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: are you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. He did come back
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: and apologize. I guess someone pulled his coat tail and said, hey,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you were out of line, very out of line to senator. Yeah.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: She ain't on trut touching nobody nothing. Yeah, do you
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: not see? Not asked when see, I don't need to
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: be in the city. And she was very upset because
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: her father was an alcoholic and she did not appreciate
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: him saying that. And she talks about that and her
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: father's ninety and he still has to go to Surely,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: did y'all see how much water he was drinking at
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the beginning of the year. Yeah, he wanted to drink. Yeah,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I mean you know, and he had to pee in
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: a minute a bathroom break. Yeah, he was dr Ford
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: asked for coffee, She asked for caffeine. She was like
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: feeding for her with them many people a judicial hearing
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: type st you have to pee, Kevin on this ain't
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: no doubt that's where I had the Navy blue suit.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: At least try to hide it because the NAVYA don't
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: show up well anyway, his faith will be decided later
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: this morning. Jay to think that he won't get nominated.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I think he will and why do you think he
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: won't Jake us think that he's bad bad, he's damaged goods.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: And the Republicans are already in a spot where they're
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: gonna lose seats, they're gonna they're gonna not stand behind
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: this guy. I just don't think they're gonna vote him in.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: You think it's a bad look for the Republicans, This
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: is a horrible look for them. And they can sit
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: up and say it's politically and all that if they were,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: but listen to me. Sexual assault is not political. It's
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: something that really happened to this woman. And so you know, look,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: at least have a hearing and see what it's about.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: All the Republicans are saying, are you waiting until we
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: nominated him and then you bought this stuff forward? Well,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: how did they know? Here's the stuff came up. It's
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: some more people that they came up. At least see
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: who's telling the truth? Yeah, investigating, Yeah, all right, we'll
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: find out something later this morning, coming up at the
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: top of the hour, Week four in the NFL. And
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: guess who's here. You guys did pimping in the building.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Morning Show. Alright, Week four

- 1:18:27Speaker 1: end of the last year. Yeah, you going nine, y'all? Yeah,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you know you know what you're tracking. We track Jests
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: and Jaguar who you got him? Jets and Jaguars. You know,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: the Jaguars hurt me last week because I pit them
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: over to Tennessee Titans and they ain't go with three points.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: But the big dog skining board from l s U
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: heat back. Yeah, Linard, yeah yeah, anybody named linnart with me?

- 1:19:05Speaker 1: all right. The three of the old Dolphins versus the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Patriots who wanted to man, look here, I'm going with
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: the Dolphins. My emmy put the Patriots in a trick bag.

- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I'm saying. Man, I'm pulling for Houston. Okay, you don't
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: almost say you're gonna get your first win. But if
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: you don't, good lord, don't. Man. All right, here we

- 1:24:33Speaker 1: now here? Now? Who the quota back I pulled for
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the for the Niners. If they bring back Capack, I

- 1:24:51Speaker 1: charges come on and hurt me. Man, I really don't.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: But I'm gonna go with the Chargers on this one.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Right here. You know what I'm saying. Philip Rippers is

- 1:25:08Speaker 1: the Sunday night game on Sunday night. You know the
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Sundnight gan't gonna be a good game. This is the
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, who you're gonna
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: do this arrival here? Now, let me explain something to you.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Pittsburgh kind of found their way back a little bit. Okay,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: okay in Baltimore aren't there. But I can't stand the
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: damn Steelers. Man, you can't. You don't like the Steeler,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: and I don't like nobody but the coach. Okay, that's it.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: This is the coach. Yeah, because he get the hair,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: he got his hair cut line and the way Steves
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: toll he oh yeah, my dad. That's why I like here.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: I love everyone right there. I like that why I
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Receival and Tonio Brown, Yeah, I like that dude. Shot.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Don't like nobody else, Well, I don't know him. Oh yeah,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you don't like because don't you don't know touching on
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: people in the bathroom. A here we go, last game
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Chiefs and the Broncos Chiefs sending Bronco cheese. Man, I
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: don't can We got to go? All right? Big Pete
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: MoMA's stry morning show coming up right after this. You're
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: listening to show, alright? Yesterday was historic, the historic hearing
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and it was a
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: dramatic day of testimony. During Christine Blasi Ford's opening remarks,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: she emotionally recalled the assault in detail. Take a listen
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: to this. I was pushed onto the bed and Brett
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: got on top of me. He began running his hands
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: over my body and grinding into me. I yelled, hoping
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: that someone downstairs might hear me, and I try to
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: get away from him, but his weight was heavy. Brett
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: groped me and tried to take off my clothes. I
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: believed he was going to rape me. I tried to
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: yell for help. When I did, Brett put his hand
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: over my mouth to stop me from yelling. Yeah. Compelling,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: compelling testimony, Very compelling, see if and I'm in there
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: in them. He wasn't there. He was taking care of
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: their children in the car might have been a little hot.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: You didn't left the car runner and don't open this.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: Don't come back later in the day yesterday knocked his
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: ass out man and Joe Keith and told him right Queen.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Then Brett Havana came on. He was angry and defensive.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: He said that the allegation will not get him to quit.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Then there was Senator Lindsey Graham from your state, James's
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: not Carolina, Yes he is. He slammed the hearing as
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: an unethical sham, and Kavanaugh has nothing to apologize for.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: He said, take a listen. If you wanted an FBI investigation,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: you could have come to us. What you wanna do
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: is destroy this guy's life, hold this seat open, and
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: hope you win in You said that, not me. You've
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: got nothing to apologize for. He was angry. Lindsey Graham, Well,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: listen to me. He's right. The Democrats want the seat
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: to be held open, but they came with a legitimate reason.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: The mistake that was made on the Democrats part was
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: fine Stein or whatever her name is, had the letter
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: weeks ago, but now the lady asked to remain anonymous.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: She did so. Define Stein couldn't bring out the letter
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: because the lady as to not to. In order for
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: this to have any effect, they had to convince the
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: lady she had to talk. After several attempts, she finally agreed.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Then they come forward. It was not too late. Now
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: he got the nomination, but that's still not too late
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: for an investigation, especially from something as such a serious allegation.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: This ain't no. He hit my car and and then
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: left the park a lot without paying me. Right. Do
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: you want the truth or not? And you know that yet.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: The Judiciary Committee will vote on Kevina later this morning.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: We'll all be watching, and the Flora will vote on Saturday.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with one more break. This
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: is Friday. Steve's got some closing remarks for us. We're
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: coming back at forty nine after the hour. You're listening,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: all right, Steve, We've come to the end of the
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: road for this week. This is our last break of
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: the day on this Friday. Leave us with some closing remarks.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: You know something, man, I'm not gonna take long to
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: tell you this, but what's the old say that the
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: grass is always greener on the other side. So when
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: you hear that, what they're saying is almost like a
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: warning to people be careful because it always appears that
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: the grass is greener on the other side. And so
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: many people spending their life standing at the fence looking
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: at somebody else's grass and then acknowledging the fact that
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: their grass is greener. It causes you to do nothing
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: about your own yard. And then some people have the audacity,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: and you see it on the internet all the time
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: that if they look over there and your grass is greener,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: they try to kill the grass or throw some weeds
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: in it. But you know what I come away with,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I don't worry about that because here's what I know.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I'm too busy working on my own grass to notice
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: if yours is greener. That's really the truth. I'm really
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: so busy working on my own grass that I don't
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: have time to notice if yours is greener. Because if
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: it is greener, let's suppose your grass is greener, why
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: can't mind be just as green. I ain't saying we're
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: gonna have the same yard. We're just talking about the
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: color of the grass that's in your yard. You don't
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: have to have the same size house I got. You
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: ain't got to have the same size house ed ain't got.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: You ain't got to have the same size how Oprah got.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have the same size yard they got.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: But if you take care of your business, you can
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: have grass just as green as everybody else if you
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: just handle your business. The gold in life is to
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: get your grass to be as green as it can.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: So when you go outside to pick your crops, it
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: got some fruit to bath. And God will always supply
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: your needs. So even though it may look like somebody
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: got made more fruit and they orchard, let me tell
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: you something if you can't. If you got an orchard
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: full of apple tree a thousand apple trees, and I
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: got one apple tree in my yard, but you got
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: a thousand apple trees in your yard when it's time
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: to need, how many apples can you eat? Let's say
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: you eat apple six apples, that make you fool. My
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: one tree got six apples on it, so we both fool. See,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: at one point in time, you're gonna have to get
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: content with where you are in your process of the journey.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: Stop looking at everybody grass, Stop looking at everybody orchard.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: They grass greener than mind. They got more apple trees
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: than mind. Hey, man, eat apples off your tree. You
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: might find out that you have enough. But if you
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: could wear and counting mind, you're gonna mess around their worms.
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: Get on yours. I'm too busy working on my own
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: grass to even notice that your grass is greener. Change
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: your commitment to everybody else and from everybody else's business.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: Change your commitment to your business. If you the time
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you spend worried about them, looking at them, talking about them,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: if you took that same amount of time and spending
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: on yourself, you have any idea what you could accomplish.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: That's why haters man is so much trouble man. You
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: don't even understand. Let people hate all they want. They
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: tending to too many other people's business. Don't get into
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: hate business. It serves nobody. And that's another thing. Somebody
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: asked me, how do I deal with my haters? I
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: keep all my haters in my classroom. I just got
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: them watching me, because that's all they can do. They
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: can't stop nothing God has for me. They can't take
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: away one blessing God gives me. They can't do nothing
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: to me. You can't bring no harm on me that
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: I won't be able to survive. I'm not saying that
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: it don't bother me sometime I don't. I'm not saying
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: that people don't attack me sometimes. But when you get
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: through attacking me, I'm gonna weather you're stone. I'm Isaiah
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: forty three one and two. I can walk through the
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: rivers and not be overturned. The waters will not overtake me.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: I can walk through the fire and not be burned,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Nor were kindling set upon my clothing. I would have
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: been through some fiery situations and came out on the
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: other side. And if there was no kindling, there was
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: no signs that I was even in a fire. Now
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: understand something. What that scripture does not say that when
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: you walk through the fire that it ain't gonna be
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: ungodly hot day. Now, It's been plenty hot for me
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: on plenty of days, many occasions. Oh, I'd have made
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: some mistakes in front of the world before I didn't
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: had to deal with some stuff. But when I got
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: through what no signs that I was ever in the fire.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: That's the god I said. I have no concern about
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: what people say they're gonna do to me. I have
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: no concern about hot green your grass is. On the
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: other side, I have no concern about how many apple
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: trees in your orchard. I'm too busy tending to my
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: own grass to even notice that yours is greener. And
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: if I do look over there, congratulations on your beautiful
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: green yard. I'm getting mine there too. That's all it is.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Fix your attitude. Change your attitude. You'll change your altitude.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Those are my closes remarks. Sure drop the MIC's that
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: was good? Yea. We have a great weekend. For all
