- 0:15Speaker 1: theming buck bus things in it. Me good it Steve
- 0:21Speaker 1: ha listen to movie together for STU. Please, I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: joining me. You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn, got to turn them out, to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your baby
- 1:59Speaker 1: it uh huh, I sure will come on and everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, okay,
- 2:14Speaker 1: here we go. You know what's important, What's what can
- 2:20Speaker 1: be a huge part of your success is if you
- 2:25Speaker 1: if you find a balance, if you find a balance
- 2:30Speaker 1: in your life. That's that's been very important for me.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And I've really never phrased it this way until now,
- 2:37Speaker 1: but I was kind of thinking about it after my
- 2:40Speaker 1: wife and I mean we set up one night recently. Man.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 2:46Speaker 1: kind of an inspirational moment of the show, and I
- 2:49Speaker 1: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 2:53Speaker 1: you and God. And that's that's the apex of it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: That's that's the that's the top of the crown. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: gotta form the relationship with God. If you don't, everything
- 3:03Speaker 1: else struggles. It's hard to be a good husband without God.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's hard to be a good family man without God.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's hard to be successful without God. Man, it's hard
- 3:12Speaker 1: to be hard to get through this thing called life
- 3:14Speaker 1: without God. So that's clear. But at the same time,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you can't talk about God. Twenty four seven. You got
- 3:23Speaker 1: to go to work. Come on, man, let's just be real.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I ain't your past, and I ain't at your church,
- 3:28Speaker 1: but let's just be real about it. You know, if
- 3:31Speaker 1: people tell you got to keep your mind stayed on
- 3:33Speaker 1: Him and all like that, that's that's a true statement.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Gott to keep your mind stayed in that area. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: don't not here to tell you how to live, but
- 3:40Speaker 1: you got to keep your mind stayed in that area
- 3:42Speaker 1: of God, of doing the right thing, caring about people.
- 3:44Speaker 1: That's what I took it as. Now, I could be wrong.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I apologize if I'm not saying that the way you've
- 3:49Speaker 1: been taught. I can only do me now. But after that,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you got to go to work. You got to have
- 3:55Speaker 1: some fun. You gotta take care of your business and
- 4:00Speaker 1: that's to balance. You have to find so it. Once
- 4:04Speaker 1: you focus on shooting up your relationship with God, you
- 4:08Speaker 1: got you gotta balance this now. Now you got to
- 4:13Speaker 1: allocate some time. I don't care who you are, for
- 4:16Speaker 1: your family. If you're gonna have a family, you got
- 4:19Speaker 1: to allocate some time for them. See, we can't just
- 4:22Speaker 1: marry these women or make these kids and then neglect them.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And fellas, especially if I'm talking to me and out him, ladies,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you can listen to. But listen. If you find yourself
- 4:34Speaker 1: struggling in your life, man, and you can't seem to
- 4:36Speaker 1: get it together, let's just go over a couple of things.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The first two things, if you find yourself struggling, you
- 4:42Speaker 1: can't seem to pull it together and reach your goals
- 4:45Speaker 1: and get to where you want to go. Let's just
- 4:48Speaker 1: do a check how is your relationship with God? And
- 4:53Speaker 1: then next how much time are you taking to allocate
- 4:57Speaker 1: for your family? Now, your family don't always live in
- 5:01Speaker 1: your house, but if you made them, they yours and
- 5:06Speaker 1: the responsibility to them is never lessen because you don't
- 5:09Speaker 1: stay that no more. Because you and the girl broke up,
- 5:12Speaker 1: you and the woman don't speak a man that don't
- 5:15Speaker 1: ever release you from the obligation feel me when I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: telling you this now, because I'm not telling you something
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm wondering about. I've had to live through them years.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So two things you can start looking at. If you're
- 5:29Speaker 1: not where you want to be, and you ain't, you
- 5:30Speaker 1: ain't really solid. You can't figure out why you keep
- 5:33Speaker 1: spending your wills. Have you just done a random inventory? Man?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Have you just checked on your relationship with God? Have
- 5:39Speaker 1: you checked on the time you're spending dedicated towards your family,
- 5:43Speaker 1: your children that you've created. If them two things is
- 5:46Speaker 1: out of saint man, that I can tell you right now,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you can go on and get to explain in yourself
- 5:51Speaker 1: away just like that. A man, how come you ain't
- 5:54Speaker 1: where you want to be? Mancuz man, I really ain't.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But if you really ain't, then you really ain't. The
- 6:00Speaker 1: third thing is you got to allocate the necessary time
- 6:04Speaker 1: for your business. You got to handle your business. All
- 6:09Speaker 1: of this, man, is the way it works, and the
- 6:14Speaker 1: order the order is God first, family second. Then you
- 6:23Speaker 1: got to handle all your business. But as me, and
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is what we do. If I don't handle my business,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I can't take care of my family. True statement. But
- 6:33Speaker 1: if your business is in front of your family, you
- 6:35Speaker 1: out of order. Nah. That's all we're talking about now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't it. See that's that's all we really saying here now,
- 6:41Speaker 1: fellas you know, you know, I mean, I mean, come on, man,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know, let's let's have a real conversation about being better.
- 6:48Speaker 1: You know, if you have created these children, you got
- 6:50Speaker 1: to handle your business. You may not like the girl
- 6:54Speaker 1: no more. You and the woman might have broken up,
- 6:56Speaker 1: y'all might go your own way, But what that got
- 6:57Speaker 1: to do with the child though? Man, you got to
- 6:59Speaker 1: handle your business. They got to know who daddy is.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's your obligation, man, And God ain't letting you off
- 7:04Speaker 1: the hook for that. Try it, Go ahead and try it,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and thank you. Gonna get off the hook with that
- 7:10Speaker 1: because you're not man, You just not. I'm sorry, man,
- 7:16Speaker 1: dog Steve, why are you coming like that? Because I
- 7:18Speaker 1: did it like that. I did it, man. I was
- 7:22Speaker 1: over here trying to reshape my life, getting myself up
- 7:24Speaker 1: on my feet when I was a homeless man and
- 7:26Speaker 1: trying to come back. Man, I thought I had to
- 7:28Speaker 1: take care of me first and then so I can
- 7:30Speaker 1: neglect it, care about them kids. Man, that ain't high work. Man,
- 7:34Speaker 1: God keep us knee on my neck for a long
- 7:36Speaker 1: time for that one right there, until I finally learned
- 7:39Speaker 1: the lesson hold up, man, put these phone calls in,
- 7:43Speaker 1: Go spend some time, do something. And then it started
- 7:47Speaker 1: turning around for me. You know, I can't beat there
- 7:49Speaker 1: all the time because I am out here on the
- 7:51Speaker 1: ground in the hustle. But at the same time, Man,
- 7:54Speaker 1: some more phone calls, some more letters, somemohaha, he he's something,
- 8:00Speaker 1: Then take care of your business. Man. You got to
- 8:03Speaker 1: work hard to be successful. You know. Sometimes I don't
- 8:06Speaker 1: put that in there. I just live in and I
- 8:08Speaker 1: expect my sons to emulate that. But I gotta talk
- 8:11Speaker 1: to him all the time. How hard you got to
- 8:13Speaker 1: work to be something. It's an all out of salt
- 8:17Speaker 1: on it. Man. If you gotta target in mind, you
- 8:19Speaker 1: gotta go. You gotta wake up every day trying to
- 8:21Speaker 1: get there. And you can't get tired of it because
- 8:25Speaker 1: it's it's it never ends. You're gonna always be this way.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That's how life is designed and set up. You got
- 8:33Speaker 1: to be a hard worker, man. If you're always looking
- 8:37Speaker 1: for some time to chill and man, I wanta go
- 8:39Speaker 1: do what I want to do, you ain't gonna make it.
- 8:42Speaker 1: In order to be successful, you have to do a
- 8:44Speaker 1: series of things that you're uncomfortable doing, and work is
- 8:48Speaker 1: the thing that most of us are uncomfortable doing. It's
- 8:51Speaker 1: so much easier to chill, man. I wish I could
- 8:54Speaker 1: kick back with a cigar man all the time, but
- 8:58Speaker 1: I can't, Man, I can't because I got to work.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Then the last piece of the balance balance piece is
- 9:11Speaker 1: you gotta take some time out to enjoy yourself. But
- 9:15Speaker 1: if you ain't where you want to be, you ain't
- 9:17Speaker 1: got a lot of time to enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man,
- 9:21Speaker 1: that this balance is even. It's a whole lot of God,
- 9:25Speaker 1: a whole lot of family, a whole lot of business,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and a little bit of chilling. The chilling can't be
- 9:32Speaker 1: equal to the family, the business, or your God. If
- 9:36Speaker 1: the chilling is equal to any of them, you ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna make it. Quit chilling, man, and go to work
- 9:42Speaker 1: like a man. Do what you post to do. Work
- 9:45Speaker 1: on your family, work on your relationship, work on your God,
- 9:48Speaker 1: work on your business. And then when you chill, you
- 9:51Speaker 1: might not chill is long, but you show gonna chill bigger.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You're gonna ball bigger babies. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: have your attention please, today's show it's dedicated to the
- 10:07Speaker 1: men and women of the military. Today Steve Harvey is
- 10:13Speaker 1: dedicating this show to those brave soldiers, those men and women,
- 10:18Speaker 1: those career military people in all branches, the baby, the

- 13:26Speaker 1: ja black Horse nor MoMA nickname black Horse. Okay, all right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after we'll find out what
- 13:36Speaker 1: the crew did over the weekend. Weekend review. Right after
- 13:39Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. All right, so it's Monday.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Let's find out what the crew did over the weekend.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Let's start with you, Steve. Would you do this weekend
- 13:51Speaker 1: as well? I actually played golf this weekend. I wouldn't done.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I wouldn't took lessons at a golf course that I
- 13:58Speaker 1: won't say the name and spit again spot down that Friday, Sadday, Sunday,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and took lessons for three hours each day and then
- 14:10Speaker 1: went out and played nine sometimes eleven. I just had
- 14:15Speaker 1: a good time. Man, I myself, question about your golf lessons.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Now that you're taking lessons, what do you need help
- 14:22Speaker 1: in h you know, memorizing the lesson must repeating the lesson. Okay,
- 14:30Speaker 1: go oh, it's a hard game. Ain't anybody talking trash
- 14:35Speaker 1: in golf? Uh? Please? And they don't play on Sundays. Please,
- 14:39Speaker 1: all you got to go out there with him. It's
- 14:41Speaker 1: gonna be a bunch of times they're gonna be going,
- 14:43Speaker 1: oh damn, I don't know what. I can't do this.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Too many hours a waste. No, it's fun, I mean,
- 14:49Speaker 1: but four hours of like nine two hours, three hours,
- 14:51Speaker 1: nine holes, four hours you're supposed to be finished with
- 14:54Speaker 1: eighteen Well you're not, you think, but not necessarily. But
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's really good ball in the rougher Lott. It depends
- 15:02Speaker 1: on how many balls in the water. Jay, I've only
- 15:07Speaker 1: played twice and ended up with the same ball that
- 15:11Speaker 1: I started with. I've only kept the same ball twice.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I was one time I was with Bruce Smith and
- 15:19Speaker 1: I kept the same ball, and then one time I
- 15:22Speaker 1: played in Florida and I kept the same ball. But
- 15:25Speaker 1: only twice. Never, what do you like about golf? The grass?
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's only a foursome and nobody wants to pitch you.
- 15:37Speaker 1: We're not a celebrity on the golf course. Nobody like that.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Oh he's a celebrity out there. We played and I
- 15:43Speaker 1: forgot what island we were on. What was we in umber?
- 15:48Speaker 1: We at man? These people they was on a boat
- 15:51Speaker 1: and Satan Island. Steve said, Cayman. Oh my god, they
- 15:57Speaker 1: was coming out of nowhere on this boat. Save Harvey,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Save Harvey. Yeah, it just be it'd be a little
- 16:04Speaker 1: bit sometime. But golf course is one of the sanctuaries
- 16:07Speaker 1: where and most of the guys out there they're so
- 16:09Speaker 1: focused on what they're trying to do that they don't
- 16:11Speaker 1: give a damn who you are. You guys are holding
- 16:17Speaker 1: out over there. Sorry, we've seen Can you be quiet,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to play school day. Man. You know you
- 16:34Speaker 1: changed though you You used to smoke a cigar on
- 16:36Speaker 1: the course, but you don't even do that. Numb you
- 16:38Speaker 1: wait focused, I wait till I'm through now. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 16:41Speaker 1: I discovered I'm not good enough to smoke and try
- 16:44Speaker 1: to play. So one at a time, one at a time,
- 16:48Speaker 1: one at a time. You can ruin your cigar smoking
- 16:52Speaker 1: experience with a couple of bad shots. Yeah, I would
- 16:56Speaker 1: like to smoke and play golf, but I wouldn't be
- 16:58Speaker 1: smoking no cigars. So the day they don't allow that
- 17:02Speaker 1: out there. I think get the woods. You can smoke
- 17:05Speaker 1: whatever you want. Time. They don't allow that. Somebody gonna
- 17:11Speaker 1: smell it. You got Yeah, this weekend I wouldn't see.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't see a movie called Get Me My roy Cone.
- 17:22Speaker 1: If you want to know anything about Donald Trump, you
- 17:25Speaker 1: need to go see this documentary called Get Me My
- 17:27Speaker 1: roy Cone. It's where he got his attitude from. This
- 17:31Speaker 1: guy represented him when he had tried to keep black
- 17:34Speaker 1: people out of his apartments in New York. It's a
- 17:36Speaker 1: real good documentary. And I saw Rambo to kill Counting
- 17:40Speaker 1: Rambo really hot. Oh my god, it's really hot. Yes,
- 17:45Speaker 1: that's what I did this weekend movie. Oh he still
- 17:49Speaker 1: got it man. Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of time.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You you don't know what he need. He needs subtitles,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but he ain't going with him, but he needs him
- 18:06Speaker 1: in there. Man, he eats subtiles. But it's a real
- 18:15Speaker 1: good movie. Though I met him a couple of times. Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: he's a good guy, real cool dude. You know he's
- 18:24Speaker 1: the highest paid guy over at Paramount for residuals for
- 18:28Speaker 1: Rocky and Rambow. I've never gotten a residual. I wouldn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: know what that. Yeah, you do you gottum think like
- 18:37Speaker 1: a man? Stop it, man, you think we're not gonna
- 18:43Speaker 1: sit here and act like you going through a pole moment.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I know you're not gonna act like that. I didn't
- 18:51Speaker 1: get that from that, Tommy. I just said, I don't know.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He just sitting and he not getting residual That is
- 18:56Speaker 1: not true. He's getting residual Yes, every time that movie.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Do you get residuals from things like a man? Me?
- 19:04Speaker 1: He no, no, no, no, Why are you so soft spoken? Yeah? Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: do you get residuals from think like a man? It
- 19:13Speaker 1: was my book. Okay, so that's a yes, because the
- 19:18Speaker 1: book still on the chelf making money. He's still getting money. Ye,
- 19:22Speaker 1: thank you, Yeah, okay, the movie still come on, it's
- 19:27Speaker 1: still yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I saw you, Tommy, I actually
- 19:32Speaker 1: saw your scene. Do you get checks from it? I
- 19:34Speaker 1: don't get what he gets. You ain't write it. Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I checked me like thirty dollars, thirty two dollars, thirty
- 19:45Speaker 1: realty or they ain't not from the movie though. You
- 19:51Speaker 1: were in the movie too. Yeah, but I got killed

- 22:23Speaker 1: scarf on appropriately. Cam wants twenty thousand dollars for the visit.
- 22:29Speaker 1: We don't have it in our budget, but it's YO call, Pastor,
- 22:32Speaker 1: but they want to. They've scarts keep falling off and
- 22:35Speaker 1: they don't know how to keep make it hold on
- 22:37Speaker 1: like Cam's the hand holes. I'm for some reason, we
- 22:42Speaker 1: haven't trouble with this right hill because Cam Newton football
- 22:48Speaker 1: player at all. It's one thing for him to be
- 22:54Speaker 1: injured this year coming out ere we dressed as credit Garble.
- 23:00Speaker 1: It started to trouble us trying to find out if
- 23:06Speaker 1: Cam is going through something that it is anything we
- 23:10Speaker 1: need to do to int see baby intervention. We are
- 23:18Speaker 1: praying for Cam and his health and all it looks like,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and more than his health, were gonna pay for him
- 23:26Speaker 1: to come in at night. I need to let him
- 23:28Speaker 1: come in for what deacon, I must not be. They
- 23:30Speaker 1: want to learn how to tie the scarf so it
- 23:32Speaker 1: don't fall out like he'll he'll, Oh, it wasn't that.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I wasn't listening. I was not carried. Yeah, we move
- 23:42Speaker 1: on to the neckle now, go ahead, all right, listen past,
- 23:46Speaker 1: we gotta issue here. Our last all white party of
- 23:51Speaker 1: the year was a disaster. Brother Clement Journe again was
- 23:56Speaker 1: the person over the event. He invited two hundred white
- 24:00Speaker 1: people to the party. He thought that's white. An all
- 24:03Speaker 1: white party was, but too, I was the black people
- 24:08Speaker 1: and all the white people. I was looking at each
- 24:12Speaker 1: other in an outrage. The member asking for a redo.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Even now it's after Labor Day, they still want to
- 24:19Speaker 1: have a party. We be in a church. Must be
- 24:25Speaker 1: open to our white brother now, and we're gonna have
- 24:32Speaker 1: to be a little more claire next time we say
- 24:35Speaker 1: all white party. To him, it was all white to them,
- 24:43Speaker 1: but to the rest of the blacks it was confusing.
- 24:50Speaker 1: It's either it's we just gonna have all white parties
- 24:53Speaker 1: or black out parties. Either way, we got to be
- 25:00Speaker 1: or clear. Go ahead now, moving right around past the
- 25:08Speaker 1: eye let's see here out here it is p I
- 25:12Speaker 1: is throwing a Gucci party to reinstate them back into society.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You can now get back to the GG. Pastor, do
- 25:22Speaker 1: you want hill Gucci Rod? Finished the one that we
- 25:26Speaker 1: started but we stopped. How do you want to move on?
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm so damn confused with TI. I don't know when
- 25:34Speaker 1: we boycotting. What we boycotting is the boy cart who
- 25:40Speaker 1: put him in charge? Your boy cards? And I just
- 25:45Speaker 1: don't know what to say about this. Now ordered my
- 25:48Speaker 1: Gucci Rod sometime are going out. They told the order
- 25:51Speaker 1: We're gonna be delayed because or TI wanted to not
- 25:56Speaker 1: do Gucci h but I told him to put the
- 26:00Speaker 1: two gs on my sleeve anywhere in our warden. When
- 26:03Speaker 1: they thought told me that was gooch, I told him
- 26:06Speaker 1: it was good God. All right, Pastor, I listen. We
- 26:15Speaker 1: have not found out who it is. Whomever it's putting
- 26:19Speaker 1: I owe you notes in the offering envelopes will be
- 26:24Speaker 1: that with Pastor. The deacon board is UH wanting for
- 26:29Speaker 1: missing to suspend them from the church for two months.
- 26:32Speaker 1: It's YO call. But whoever putting these I owe you
- 26:35Speaker 1: notes in the u alfering Nomlope we were gonna find them,
- 26:40Speaker 1: but we want to have who It was last week
- 26:45Speaker 1: the full government employees that we have kids to church
- 26:50Speaker 1: and they said they was gonna give us our old
- 26:53Speaker 1: us because h the national debt was over a trillion
- 26:58Speaker 1: dollars and they could see or add that. They said,
- 27:05Speaker 1: when Trump reduces the debt as he promised, or the
- 27:09Speaker 1: start to pay it, tis until then is our old us.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And just so you understand that we had two hundred
- 27:17Speaker 1: of them this past weekend. They was all from the
- 27:21Speaker 1: all from the white people that we had asked to come.
- 27:25Speaker 1: The wheelchair swimming team has their first swim meet this
- 27:31Speaker 1: coming Saturday. They are asking for our prayers as well
- 27:35Speaker 1: as three lifeguards for desperate man just Y Well figuring
- 27:40Speaker 1: out what we're gonna do that that we're gonna let
- 27:41Speaker 1: most of the water out the pool coming out Entertainment
- 27:47Speaker 1: National News two feet of water. They're gonna be everything
- 27:52Speaker 1: you're listening show in Today's Entertainment News. Big I Heart
- 28:01Speaker 1: Radio Music Festival twenty nineteen. It was this past weekend
- 28:05Speaker 1: in Las Vegas. We have to give a huge shout
- 28:08Speaker 1: out to Alicia Keys, R and B singer her She's
- 28:11Speaker 1: a bad girl. And Chance the rapper. Chance got the
- 28:15Speaker 1: crowd all into Yeah yeah, he got the crowd all
- 28:18Speaker 1: into his performance. He took him to Chetch nephew also
- 28:22Speaker 1: Steve our buddy, Yeah yeah, yeah, our buddy, Ryan Seacrest.
- 28:26Speaker 1: He had an exclusive backstage interview with Alicia Keys, and
- 28:31Speaker 1: he asked Alicia Keys if she how does she feel
- 28:34Speaker 1: about people talking to her about their opinion? So take
- 28:38Speaker 1: a listen. I do ask people not to give their
- 28:40Speaker 1: opinion less and then less they're asked for it. Though
- 28:43Speaker 1: no one in here no opinions, opinions, But don't you
- 28:46Speaker 1: think like, wouldn't you think like if I said, hey,
- 28:49Speaker 1: how do you like my outfit? Then it's cool if
- 28:51Speaker 1: you're like, oh, you know what, I love it? Or
- 28:54Speaker 1: I don't like it someone. But when people are just
- 28:55Speaker 1: like I don't like, like I didn't ask you, I've
- 28:58Speaker 1: edited all those people out of my life. The job
- 29:01Speaker 1: cut them out. And then Brian asked Alicia Keys about
- 29:04Speaker 1: casting her friends Michael B. Jordan's and her music and
- 29:09Speaker 1: her new music video Show Me Love with Miguel. So
- 29:12Speaker 1: take a listen to Alicia telling Ryan all about that
- 29:15Speaker 1: I love that video. Take a listen if you haven't
- 29:17Speaker 1: seen it. It's hard to describe, but it's uh. I
- 29:20Speaker 1: call it a visual sonic experience. It certainly is, because
- 29:25Speaker 1: I think that's the only way with with some precipitation,
- 29:28Speaker 1: a lot of elements with right, but that with Miguel
- 29:34Speaker 1: so cool, Michael B. Jordan, isn't the videos always husband, Marco,
- 29:39Speaker 1: Miguel and I are on yours. You know. I personally
- 29:42Speaker 1: went out to my friends and I said, I really
- 29:44Speaker 1: have this particular vision. I really wanted to show this
- 29:47Speaker 1: particular vision that you have. If you haven't seen it,
- 29:50Speaker 1: go see it right now. And I and I wanted
- 29:52Speaker 1: it to feel like different sides of this experience of
- 29:56Speaker 1: life and love. All right, we love you, Alicia Keys
- 30:00Speaker 1: And In other entertainment news, Okay, guys, last night, the
- 30:03Speaker 1: seventy first Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were last night. Homer Simpson,
- 30:09Speaker 1: Anthony Anderson. They opened up the Emmys. The show followed
- 30:13Speaker 1: the footsteps you guys of the Oscars and was hostless
- 30:17Speaker 1: and some of the winners and nominees included a building.
- 30:22Speaker 1: So now I'm assuming everybody's going hostless because we're so
- 30:26Speaker 1: politically correct now, we can't find anybody that people like
- 30:32Speaker 1: that hasn't done or said anything that someone finds offense.
- 30:36Speaker 1: That's where we're right. We can't give you can't give
- 30:39Speaker 1: people second chances. He's a comedian or she's a comedian. No, No,
- 30:44Speaker 1: you're right, No unforgiving society going on right now. It
- 30:50Speaker 1: seems that way some of them. Yeah, yeah, it really is, Steve,
- 30:55Speaker 1: You're right. People deserve an opportunity to host and be
- 30:59Speaker 1: a pardon. Yeah. So anyway, Billy Porter, Tracy Ellis, Ross,
- 31:04Speaker 1: Viola Davis, Alton K. Sterling. Last night and the Emmys
- 31:08Speaker 1: said goodbye to Game of Thrones. The show is gone,
- 31:14Speaker 1: John Snow and them, because you're still unhappy, you wanted
- 31:19Speaker 1: to come back and end again one last episode the
- 31:25Speaker 1: Five Jane I didn't care up man, Yeah, but they
- 31:37Speaker 1: put John snowback on that wall. I was mad, Jane
- 31:40Speaker 1: on talking about why would I go to the wall
- 31:45Speaker 1: and they ain't no more White walkers don't get us
- 31:50Speaker 1: and dragons burn damn wall down. All right, Time to
- 31:59Speaker 1: move on, Steve. Let's get caught up on today's headlines, please,
- 32:04Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Miss An Tripp Okay, thank you very
- 32:08Speaker 1: very much. Yeah, one of the dragons did burn part
- 32:10Speaker 1: of the wall down, that's true. Anyway, This is answered
- 32:13Speaker 1: with the news President Trump arrived in Houston yesterday and
- 32:16Speaker 1: pledged to help those parts of Texas affected by the
- 32:18Speaker 1: recent torrential rains courtesy of course tropical storm Meldon. We're
- 32:22Speaker 1: making the federal government totally available, so you'll let us know.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Any questions, you'll let us know. But you know, that's happened,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and they made a lot of progress, and hopefully now
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's going down pretty good. And people here just fix
- 32:32Speaker 1: it up. They get used to it. They fix it
- 32:34Speaker 1: up and be nice if they don't have to get
- 32:36Speaker 1: used to it. For a little while, we had Harvey,
- 32:38Speaker 1: and now we have this. Yeah. By the way, the
- 32:40Speaker 1: UN's holding a climate change summit in New York today,
- 32:43Speaker 1: however Trump is not taking part. The President, meanwhile, is
- 32:47Speaker 1: still insisting that nothing in proper transpired in a phone
- 32:50Speaker 1: call this summer with the Prime Minister of Ukraine. The
- 32:53Speaker 1: first time you heard about it, he said that he
- 32:55Speaker 1: denied it, and that's fake news. Now he says he did,
- 32:57Speaker 1: but it was okay the government Whistplower reportedly says that
- 33:00Speaker 1: Trump actually tried to pressure Ukraine into investigating potential political
- 33:05Speaker 1: rival Joe Biden's son who has a financial dealing in
- 33:08Speaker 1: that country, by threatening Ukraine with the cutoff of funds
- 33:11Speaker 1: and stuff. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schifft tells CNNDED,
- 33:14Speaker 1: if nothing was wrong, president can clear it up. That's
- 33:17Speaker 1: the case, then why doesn't the President simply release the
- 33:19Speaker 1: transcript of that call? And I don't know whether the
- 33:22Speaker 1: whistle blower complaint is on this allegation, but if it is,
- 33:25Speaker 1: and even if it isn't, why doesn't the President just
- 33:27Speaker 1: say release the whistle blower complaint. Clearly he's afraid for
- 33:30Speaker 1: the public to see either one of those things, and
- 33:33Speaker 1: we're determined to make sure that the public does. Trump
- 33:36Speaker 1: claims that a president's conversation should not be challenged because
- 33:39Speaker 1: he's the president. According to the website the Route, the
- 33:42Speaker 1: clothing company, the clothing chain. Actually, H and M under
- 33:46Speaker 1: fire again over the way they depict black children in
- 33:48Speaker 1: their ads. Reporter CAREW. Daniels says, this time it's a
- 33:51Speaker 1: picture of a young girl with her natural hair pulled
- 33:54Speaker 1: back into a totally unkempt ponytail, just grabbed and thrown
- 33:57Speaker 1: back there. But unlike the last time, and H and
- 34:00Speaker 1: M had little black boy in a sweater that read
- 34:02Speaker 1: coolest monkey in the Junger Rima that one where all
- 34:05Speaker 1: the Swedish based H and M. This time is not
- 34:07Speaker 1: apologizing and it's not removing the little black girl's picture
- 34:11Speaker 1: that is H and M. The World Health Organization says
- 34:15Speaker 1: that nations must start investing more in providing healthcare for
- 34:19Speaker 1: those in low and middle cancome countries. The United Nations
- 34:21Speaker 1: Organization says globally five billion people five billion with the
- 34:25Speaker 1: bee will lack access to even basic medical services come
- 34:28Speaker 1: twenty thirty unless the issue is addressed and soon. Colin
- 34:32Speaker 1: Kaepernick's Nike ad has won an Emmy as Outstanding Commercial.
- 34:36Speaker 1: That's a Nike ad that features Kaepernick's face, the light
- 34:38Speaker 1: Nike logo and the words believe in something, even if
- 34:41Speaker 1: it means sacrificing everything. Speaking to that the Exonerated five,
- 34:45Speaker 1: they were kind of awarded because the film When they
- 34:48Speaker 1: see Us that one and Emmy and adopted the box
- 34:50Speaker 1: office Dalton Albey to down twos. Now back to the
- 34:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show You're listening to show. Antonio Brown
- 35:01Speaker 1: was released from the New England Patriots and announced that
- 35:04Speaker 1: he is quitting the NFL because the league is corrupt
- 35:08Speaker 1: and has screwed him out of millions of dollars. The
- 35:11Speaker 1: Patriots released a statement and said, had Antonio Brown not
- 35:16Speaker 1: sent intimidating group text messages to the female artists who
- 35:20Speaker 1: accused him of unwanted sexual advances, Antonio would have played
- 35:25Speaker 1: in yesterday's Patriots game. Now, the artist's attorney contacted the
- 35:30Speaker 1: NFL and the New England Patriots and said that Antonio
- 35:33Speaker 1: Brown violated the league's personal conduct policy, which prohibits stalking, harassment,
- 35:40Speaker 1: and other forms of intimidation. Well, Antonio Brown, you know,
- 35:44Speaker 1: he tweeted up a storm after that, saying, among other things,
- 35:48Speaker 1: that he will not be playing in the NFL and
- 35:51Speaker 1: that these owners can cancel deals or do whatever they
- 35:56Speaker 1: want at any time. So you know, this story was
- 35:58Speaker 1: trending all week in long So let me say first
- 36:01Speaker 1: of all, Steve, tell me what you said about this,
- 36:04Speaker 1: what I said about Antonio Brown. A lot of people say, well,
- 36:08Speaker 1: he's really not that educated, and that's that begs the different.
- 36:11Speaker 1: But what he don't have this is just my opinion.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It's common sense and you can get that anywhere. You
- 36:17Speaker 1: don't have to be that educator that have common Yeah,
- 36:25Speaker 1: you can get that from your mamma, them from Auntie
- 36:28Speaker 1: right right yea. And now the next timmy, what did
- 36:33Speaker 1: your wife say it was okay to do It's all
- 36:36Speaker 1: right to shut the blank up. Seriously, it's okay. But
- 36:44Speaker 1: you know, man, this guy is so infatuated with social
- 36:48Speaker 1: media like he thinks. See, let me tell you something, man,
- 36:52Speaker 1: this guy, Donald Trump, got everybody thinking that they're just
- 36:57Speaker 1: as relevant on social media. So now he tweeting out
- 37:02Speaker 1: stuff foreign policy, stuff about the Emmys, stuff about rappers.
- 37:10Speaker 1: This president is tweeting about stuff ain't got nothing to
- 37:13Speaker 1: do with the government. Then he talking about his personnel,
- 37:17Speaker 1: and he's got people thinking that everybody is relevant on Twitter.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And antonio' brown thinks he's relevant on Twitter. He would
- 37:27Speaker 1: be more thought of as relevant on Twitter than relevant
- 37:31Speaker 1: in his job or his profession. And this is a
- 37:34Speaker 1: very very sad case of a person committing a career suicide.
- 37:41Speaker 1: This is a really a guy that's self destructive and
- 37:45Speaker 1: he's not taking advice for anybody. He doesn't have anybody
- 37:49Speaker 1: around him in his ear going, yo, waity man, you've
- 37:52Speaker 1: fen to do what you fin to say? This about
- 37:54Speaker 1: who you really think that's smart. And I think this
- 37:57Speaker 1: kid man has duck himself in a hole that's gonna
- 38:03Speaker 1: be pretty difficult to recover from, especially in NFL. He's
- 38:08Speaker 1: cutting off your nose to spite your face. So yeah, well, okay, fellas,
- 38:14Speaker 1: let's keep this conversation going. Coming up at thirty four
- 38:16Speaker 1: after the hour, more on this Antonio Brown situation the NFL.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 38:27Speaker 1: The Patriots released Antonio Brown for sending intimidating text messages
- 38:31Speaker 1: to the artist who accused him of sexual misconduct. Antonio
- 38:35Speaker 1: said he was quitting the NFL. He also tweeted, we
- 38:38Speaker 1: will see if the NFL Players Association will hold them
- 38:42Speaker 1: accountable when they can just avoid guarantees anytime. So what
- 38:47Speaker 1: Antonio was saying is that the Patriots signed him to
- 38:50Speaker 1: a fifteen million dollar deal with a nine million million
- 38:54Speaker 1: dollar guaranteed signing bonus. Antonio was scheduled to get five
- 39:00Speaker 1: million dollars. Yeah, he was scheduled to get five million
- 39:03Speaker 1: dollars today today on Monday, if he wasn't cut. But
- 39:07Speaker 1: Antonio Brown went further and took aim at the Patriots
- 39:11Speaker 1: owner Robert Craft, saying that there's a double standard for
- 39:14Speaker 1: him and and other NFL players or big wigs, if
- 39:19Speaker 1: you will. Antonio was citing, you know, of course, Robert
- 39:23Speaker 1: Kraft's arrest after he visited a massage parlor that was
- 39:26Speaker 1: allegedly part of a prostitution ring. And you guys were
- 39:31Speaker 1: talking about this. Yeah, can I tell you what I
- 39:36Speaker 1: told Junior, because Junior and I had a bet. Junior
- 39:39Speaker 1: said that, you know, it was no big deal that
- 39:41Speaker 1: he would get picked up by another team, And I said,
- 39:45Speaker 1: Uber won't even pick his ass up. How about that? Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 1: even if that Antonio Brown get picked up by another two,
- 39:59Speaker 1: he lost half his money when he went to New England.
- 40:02Speaker 1: They can offer him peanuts now if but it's going
- 40:08Speaker 1: to be very difficult because of this last text. And
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't understand the texting, because it's the texting that
- 40:16Speaker 1: got you in trouble in the first place. Because this
- 40:19Speaker 1: girl who bought these civil charges against him has incriminating
- 40:24Speaker 1: texts against him. So when this new girl came out
- 40:29Speaker 1: the artist with what she said, he text her, yeah, dog,
- 40:35Speaker 1: they sent this to the NFL, yeah, her attorneys, yes,
- 40:40Speaker 1: the artists. Yeah, this is this shows the disrespect to
- 40:43Speaker 1: women of the women that you're involved with. So that
- 40:46Speaker 1: doesn't help. It's a disrespect. But also what makes you
- 40:51Speaker 1: think that authorities are not going to see your text messages?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Why are you threatening a woman? Yes? Man, this climate
- 41:00Speaker 1: does not allow for that. Are you nuts? What's wrong
- 41:04Speaker 1: with you? Man? Tommy? It doesn't matter. It's all right
- 41:12Speaker 1: to shut the blank up. Well, I was gonna say,
- 41:20Speaker 1: even the climate. It doesn't matter the climate. What he
- 41:23Speaker 1: has done. You know what I'm saying, his behavior towards women.
- 41:27Speaker 1: You know, he's lost endorsements, Nike has saying hey, you
- 41:30Speaker 1: can't be a part of our organization. And now these
- 41:33Speaker 1: football teams are saying the same thing. You are. You know,
- 41:37Speaker 1: New England gave him an opportunity. They wanted to let
- 41:39Speaker 1: the investigation play out and see what happened. They allowed
- 41:42Speaker 1: him to play. And then you send intimidating text messages
- 41:46Speaker 1: to this woman who did not go to the police
- 41:49Speaker 1: and follow police report on your sexual misconduct. Yes, yeah, seriously, man,
- 41:57Speaker 1: So you pick up your phone and your friends. It
- 42:00Speaker 1: was a group text message, so you're the people that
- 42:03Speaker 1: work for you. You're saying intimidating things to this woman.
- 42:06Speaker 1: So her attorney is a going to the NFL and
- 42:09Speaker 1: the Patriots and like this guy still works with you,
- 42:12Speaker 1: And was the pictures of this woman's kids on this
- 42:17Speaker 1: text too. I heard that he mentioned their kids because
- 42:21Speaker 1: on Instagram he was going on Instagram and talking about
- 42:25Speaker 1: her income. And you know, just it was wrong what
- 42:29Speaker 1: he did. And you know the Patriots saying, hey, you
- 42:33Speaker 1: can't play for us. And then now you're attacking Robert Kraft.
- 42:35Speaker 1: You think he gonna pay you. You're talking about the
- 42:38Speaker 1: man that could possibly pay you not gonna get them.
- 42:41Speaker 1: It's hard to help a fool, you know. Seriously, that's
- 42:44Speaker 1: why the NFL Players Association it's gonna have trouble with
- 42:49Speaker 1: this one, because these people don't just not pay you.
- 42:53Speaker 1: They're gonna point to clauses in the contract that any
- 42:57Speaker 1: behavior get your mental to the brand, the football team
- 43:01Speaker 1: or that NFL shield can cost you your job and
- 43:06Speaker 1: your income. They're not just taking money, man, without they're
- 43:09Speaker 1: go to court. They got long money to go to court.
- 43:11Speaker 1: This is really a sad case. Well, we'll keep an
- 43:13Speaker 1: eye on it. Coming up next though, Nephew Tommy is
- 43:16Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're
- 43:21Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 43:25Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after today's

- 45:39Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Okay, you know I need Actually, what the
- 45:44Speaker 1: reason why I called you was. I'm trying to I'm
- 45:48Speaker 1: trying to get that you know, I'm trying to get
- 45:50Speaker 1: that ninety dollars back. Wait a minute, let me ask
- 45:53Speaker 1: you something. First of all, how did you get my number? Well,
- 45:57Speaker 1: the dude that um, who is dude? Who's that through
- 46:00Speaker 1: the back. You know, the guy that hooked y'all up
- 46:02Speaker 1: as far as doing the bachelor Billy Billy, the ones
- 46:05Speaker 1: that got y'all to to come and do the bachelorette party. Okay.
- 46:08Speaker 1: What I'm trying to you know, tell you is is
- 46:10Speaker 1: that I got the number from him, Okay, okay, and

- 47:24Speaker 1: you this money I wouldn't get I was trying to

- 47:50Speaker 1: saying I was giving ten, but not get that belong
- 47:53Speaker 1: to me. I'm not given you're calling me working me
- 48:00Speaker 1: up till you're not a dollars. I'm not giving you
- 48:04Speaker 1: your man. I'm gonna give you a tip, but i
- 48:07Speaker 1: ain't giving you no ninety dollars tip you did, you
- 48:09Speaker 1: got no having you till dollars ain't lady. Look, I'm
- 48:13Speaker 1: not gonna city and going to go ahead with you

- 48:21Speaker 1: me lad with more time, I'm gonna come find you
- 48:22Speaker 1: and kick up first of the ball. I'm not giving
- 48:25Speaker 1: you a dawn then and dollars back. Thanks for the trip.
- 48:28Speaker 1: You shouldn't been the first place, Like I said, keep home.
- 48:32Speaker 1: That's fine, lady on the reil. I ain't trying to

- 53:10Speaker 1: Shelley's not here, everybody, So we're gonna do it a
- 53:14Speaker 1: little bit different today. I'm gonna read it and I
- 53:19Speaker 1: guess we go. How are we doing this today? Carler?
- 53:22Speaker 1: You read it? Here we go? Subject I should curse
- 53:28Speaker 1: him out and call his wife. Yes, Dear Steven Shirley.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I've been married for almost twenty five years. My husband
- 53:37Speaker 1: and I have been through a lot, but we're still together.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I have a situation that I need help with, and
- 53:44Speaker 1: it doesn't involve my husband. A year ago, a guy
- 53:48Speaker 1: at the gym came on to me. It was fun
- 53:51Speaker 1: at first because it was all hugs and kisses, but
- 53:54Speaker 1: then it escalated to sex. We were intimate on several
- 53:59Speaker 1: accoun asians and each time I was so ashamed. It
- 54:04Speaker 1: went on a couple of months before I tried to
- 54:07Speaker 1: end it. I have a real problem, though, because now
- 54:11Speaker 1: I can't get this joker to leave me alone. I
- 54:15Speaker 1: avoid him at the gym, and he just won't leave
- 54:18Speaker 1: me alone. He tries to hug me, grab my booty,
- 54:23Speaker 1: or anything just to touch me. I will admit that
- 54:27Speaker 1: he's charming, so I gave in a few more times,
- 54:32Speaker 1: but that was it. Though. Now I need him to
- 54:36Speaker 1: understand that it has to stop. God warned me of
- 54:42Speaker 1: the consequences of my actions, and he has been too good.
- 54:47Speaker 1: He has been too It does a word missing. I'm
- 54:52Speaker 1: guessing I'm assuming that he has been too good to
- 54:56Speaker 1: me to keep doing something he has told me not
- 55:00Speaker 1: to do. Yeah, that's a word, miss it. I thought
- 55:03Speaker 1: about reporting my ex lover to management at the gym,
- 55:07Speaker 1: but that may turn into an even bigger issue. Plus,
- 55:11Speaker 1: this man has a wife and a kid in college,
- 55:14Speaker 1: so I don't want to do anything to hurt his family.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I told one of my good, good girlfriends what was
- 55:20Speaker 1: going on, and she suggested that I curse him out
- 55:23Speaker 1: real loud, make a scene, and then punch him real hard.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Knowing this man, he will be turned on by all that. Jesus,
- 55:36Speaker 1: I just want him to keep his hands off me,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and pleading with him is not working. What can I
- 55:44Speaker 1: do to get him to leave me alone? How about
- 55:47Speaker 1: threatened to call his wife. I wouldn't actually do it,
- 55:51Speaker 1: but do you think it would work? Please advise? Let
- 55:55Speaker 1: me just say this before you answer. Caller, Lord Jesus,
- 56:00Speaker 1: okay for real? I mean you know the only way
- 56:07Speaker 1: out of this situation is to cut all ties with
- 56:12Speaker 1: this man. Number one, you need to change gems. That's
- 56:15Speaker 1: number one. Number two, no social media. You have to
- 56:19Speaker 1: resist all the urges and all the temptations to get
- 56:22Speaker 1: with this man. I'm talking on friend him on Facebook,
- 56:26Speaker 1: on tweet his Twitter block him on the Graham I'm nothing,
- 56:31Speaker 1: no contact with this man at all. You need to
- 56:34Speaker 1: figure out what's going on in your marriage. Why are
- 56:37Speaker 1: you getting with some random guy at the gym to
- 56:41Speaker 1: have sex with instead of your husband? Twenty five years
- 56:45Speaker 1: you've been married to this man. What is it? Are
- 56:46Speaker 1: you bored? This is a fantasy for you. This is
- 56:50Speaker 1: just not cool. You are making some very very bad decisions.
- 56:54Speaker 1: You're lying, and you're cheating, and you're in a full
- 56:57Speaker 1: blown affair and you're husband. It will destroy him. It
- 57:02Speaker 1: will destroy him if he finds out. You have to
- 57:05Speaker 1: resist the temptation to see this man because you know
- 57:08Speaker 1: in a letter Steve, it was like she was just so,
- 57:11Speaker 1: you know, we kids, and then it happened a couple
- 57:13Speaker 1: of times, and then it happened a couple of times again.
- 57:15Speaker 1: This is serious. This is nothing to be taken lightly.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You have to fight the urge to get with this man.
- 57:21Speaker 1: And if you involve his wife, this may not go
- 57:26Speaker 1: the way you think it's gonna go. She may involve
- 57:29Speaker 1: your husband. So my advice to you is to avoid
- 57:32Speaker 1: all that change Gems, resist the urge and temptation to
- 57:36Speaker 1: get with this man, cut off all contact completely or
- 57:41Speaker 1: else you're gonna have a big problem on your hands. Steve. Uh,
- 57:45Speaker 1: this is crazy, Yeah, because she's sister. I don't really
- 57:50Speaker 1: believe this letter. I don't. I don't even see why
- 57:53Speaker 1: you're writing. I don't. I don't believe because it's too much.
- 57:57Speaker 1: You've been married twenty five, so you got to be grown.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I'm assuming let's say you got married at twenty or
- 58:04Speaker 1: twenty five, you gotta be in your mid forties to
- 58:07Speaker 1: fifty something. So you met this guy to gym. He
- 58:14Speaker 1: came on to It was fun at first because it
- 58:17Speaker 1: was hugs and kisses, but then it turned into sex. Now,
- 58:21Speaker 1: you said you was intimate on several occasions, and after
- 58:25Speaker 1: every time you was a shame. You know. He went
- 58:29Speaker 1: on for a couple of months before you tried to
- 58:31Speaker 1: end it. Now you say, the problem is you can't
- 58:35Speaker 1: get this man leave you alone. So you avoid him
- 58:38Speaker 1: at the gym, but he won't leave me alone. He
- 58:40Speaker 1: tried to hug me, grab my booty or anything. Just
- 58:42Speaker 1: to church. Well, he's been hugging you, y'all been having sex,
- 58:48Speaker 1: so I'm pretty show he's had his hand on your
- 58:50Speaker 1: booty many times. Then you say. After all that, I'll
- 58:56Speaker 1: admit he's charming. So I gave me in a few
- 59:00Speaker 1: more times. Okay, wait a minute. Wait, you either trying
- 59:04Speaker 1: to get out of this or you ain't. But all
- 59:07Speaker 1: he got to do is grab your body, your booty
- 59:09Speaker 1: because he charming now and he back in. So but
- 59:14Speaker 1: that's it now, though, Nah, I want this to stop.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Here we go with this one right here. God warned
- 59:22Speaker 1: me all the consequences of my action, and he'd been
- 59:25Speaker 1: too good to me to keep doing something he'd told
- 59:28Speaker 1: me not to do. He was good till you fo.
- 59:30Speaker 1: You did it. M We'll be back, all right, Steve. Yeah,
- 59:35Speaker 1: Part two of your responds at twenty three after the hour.
- 59:38Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Today's Strawberry Letter. You want
- 59:44Speaker 1: to recap this, this foolishness. Here, this woman been married
- 59:50Speaker 1: twenty five years ago, messing around with this dude. It's
- 59:53Speaker 1: this gem and she hadn't told him. He wants it
- 59:57Speaker 1: to be over with, but he's so charming. He grabs
- 59:59Speaker 1: her booty and all this head. Next thing you know,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: they'd had sex a few more times. So now but
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: this is it though, Now I wanted to stop, and
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: then God warned me of the consequences of my action,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and he'd been too good to me to keep doing
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: something he'd told me not to do. Okay, now let's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: let's let's go over this slide. Whether God has been
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: good to you or not, which he has to all
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of us. You know, sleeping with this man is wrong.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: So now you want to act like you're having this
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: real religious moment, which can happen, can be true. But
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: come on now, if you either you want to stop
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: or you don't, but it don't sound like you do.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Then she said, I thought about reporting my ex lover
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to management at the gym. What what? What? What's that
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: gonna do? He don't work, got the gym, He just
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: go to the gym. Management ain't got nothing to do
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: with this, got to do with what the hell is
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the gem? Go, sir, sir? What are you doing? Can't
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: keep grabbing her ass like that even though y'all been
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: kicking it. Yeah, but call it is said, why don't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you switch gems because you like the attention? You keep
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: going back down to this gym. Now you said you're
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: gonna report the management, but that might turn into an
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: even bigger mess. Plus this man's got a wife and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a kid in college, so I don't want to do
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: anything to hurt his family. What okay, you know you
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: can just end it. But then you said, I told
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: one of my good girlfriends here, wouldn't let it get
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: real hood? What was going on? Her girlfriend suggested that
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I cuss him out real loud and make a scene
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: and then punch him real hard. Now, you don't think
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: when they press charges against you that your husband gonna
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: want to know why you punch this man real hard?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: And custom Mountain. That's an ignorant ass response. Then you said,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: knowing this man, he gonna be turned on by all
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: of that. Now, obviously you hit him pretty hard before.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: And yeah, obviously she's hit him pretty hard before because
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: she said, knowing all this, this man will be turned
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: on by all that. So they're they're beating on each
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: other now, chop me, punch me, oh baby, doing some more. Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: that's what's happening. That's what that means. That's yeah. I
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: just want him to keep his hands off me, and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: pleading with him is not working. What can I do
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to get him leave me alone? Carlinson, to change gems
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and stop messing with us? How about threatened to call
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: his wife. I wouldn't actually do it, but do you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: think it would work? Oh yeah, it'll work. Call his wife.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: He'll leave you alone then, But like Carlin said, his

- 1:03:28Speaker 1: let you do is you're not gonna come up in
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: here and mess up my happy home. And then you
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: some famous man once told me one time, you can't
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: kill my dog and expect your cat to live. So
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: now when you go over here and ruin this man's house,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: you think they just gonna let you you exist in
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: your happy home? Are you nuts? Lady? This ends as
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: soon as you say it ends, But you go to

- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the attention, stop playing. You're a grown ass woman. If
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you tell a man to leave you alone at the gym,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: how far can it go at the gym? You're end
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: the gym. But what happened is you keep meeting his
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: ass somewhere at the most dawn. Yea, yeah, stop, then
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: y'all do it. Y'all doing your gym workout down at

- 1:04:31Speaker 1: So now don't don't don't come to me with all
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: of this righteous stuff you got going on, because lady,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: nobody's buying it. You're doing this, and this is going on.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: You don't even need to write us a letter because
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: this end when a grown woman in it. Grown women

- 1:11:22Speaker 1: You know you're good. Yeah for people. Excuses people make

- 1:11:32Speaker 1: they fit and trim, how they know what to do
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: For somebody like me, it can't relate to me. I

- 1:11:47Speaker 1: When I go inside a place where people work out.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: My asthma kicks up, so I can't go that I

- 1:12:13Speaker 1: My niket ain't ready for the naked. I'm not good
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: with excuses people make to not go to the gym.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: They don't have no hand seniz in now. I didn't
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: see none last time I was there. Yes, excuses people
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: make not to go to the gym. I just don't
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: feel comfortable putting a towel on my butt. That's been
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: on somebody else. But I just don't when you right,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I like that one. All right, guys, thank you. Coming
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: up next, we got music, more fun, more foolishness. At
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. You're listening Hearty morning show, right, Steve.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You know it's Monday, after all the football games. Watch
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the game yesterday? Yeah? Yeah, well let me talk to
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Tommy first, Tommy the Texans one. How about the Texans baby, Yeah,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: he's the Texans one. That quarterback that boy there. Let
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: me tell you something. Desha is coming into his own.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: He is doing his thing and he's confident about himself now.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: And I hate the fact that we went in at
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: the last second. That's bothering me. It Whin does a win.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: But I think that they got to get to the
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: point where you could put the game away in the
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: third for the top of the fourth quarter instead of
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: instead of going down to the last second of the game,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: and you got everybody in Houston having a heart attack.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You can, we can be better than this, but it's won. Well,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: let's talk to you about your Browns. What a battle,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield, Oh Dawn, come on, talk to me. It's
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: gonna come to Joe. You got a good squad, you
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: really do. Yeah, Man, you that a good team. What
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: do you mean you can't win them all? How about
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: we can't win at all? How about Steve? How about
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: molding one in a row? How about that? Hell? Yea,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back at thirty three after the hour.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Angry Browns fan, you're listening to show the Big I
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Heart Radio Music Festival twenty nineteen. It was this past
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: weekend in Las Vegas. We have to give a huge
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: shout out to Alicia Keys, R and B. Singer her
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: She's a Bad Girl, and Chance the rapper. Chance got
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: the crowd all into Yeah yeah, He got the crowd
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: all into his performance. Also Steve our buddy, Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: our buddy. Ryan Seacrest. He had an exclusive backstage interview
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: with Alicia Keys, and he asked Alicia Keys if she
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: how does she feel about people talking to her about
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: their opinion? So take a listen. I do ask people
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: not to give their opinion less and then less they're
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: asked for it. Though no one in here no opinions.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: But don't you think like, wouldn't you think like if
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I said, hey, how do you like my outfit? Then
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: it's cool if you're like, oh, you know what, I
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: love it? Or I don't like it someone. But when
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: people are just like, I don't like like I didn't
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: ask you. I've edited all those people out of my life.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Cut them out. And then Ryan asked Alicia Keys about
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: casting her friends Michael B. Jordan's and her music and
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: her new music video Show Me Love with Miguel. So
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: take a listen to Alicia telling Ryan all about that.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I love that video. Take a listen. If you haven't
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: seen it, it's hard to describe. But it's uh. I
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: call it a visual sonic experience. It certainly is, because
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I think that's the only way with with some precipitation,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: a lot of elements with right, but that with Miguel
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: so cool. Um, Michael B. Jordan is in the videos
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: always husband, Marco, Miguel and I are on. You know.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I personally went out to my friends and I said,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I really have this particular vision. I really wanted to
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: show this particular vision that you have. If you haven't
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: seen it, go see it right now. And I and
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I wanted it to feel like different sides of this
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: experience of life and love. All right, we love you,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Alicia Keys and and other entertainment news. Okay, guys, last night,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: the seventy first Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were last night,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Homer Simpson, Anthony Anderson. They opened up the Emmys. The
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: show followed the footsteps you guys of the Oscars and
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: was hostless, and some of the winners and nominees included
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Billy Porter, Tracy Ellis, Ross Viola Davis, Alton K. Sterling.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Last night and the Emmys said goodbye to Game of Thrones.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: The show is gone. John and the ending because y're
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: still unhappy. He wanted to come back and end again
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: one last episode. They got great five, great yield. They
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: just stopped Jay that season. I didn't care, man, Yeah,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: but they put John snowback on that wall. I was mad,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Jaye don't talk about why would I go to the wall?
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: And they ain't no more White Walkers don't get us
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and dragons wall down? All right? Coming up, Steve is
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: up next with today's closing remarks at forty nine after
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: the hour you're listening to. Okay, Steve, it's that time
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: closing remarks. It's been a good month. You know. I
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: want to I want to encourage people, but I gotta
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: tell you the truth about it. Um. You know, um,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: it's it's sort of all. I've decided to go forward
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: with the truth as I've learned it, and I've decided
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: to ignore they sayers and people who don't want to
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: hear the factual part of how difficult success is. But
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: if you explain it to people and they understand that
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: you've gone through the hardships of trying to become successful yourself,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: when they face hardships, I think they can see it
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: better for themselves and Dean sand has told me one time.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: He says, Steve, stop throwing the life raft to people
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: swimming away from the boat. He said, just throw your
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: life raft to them. People they want to be saved.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: And so and that's saved in just an analytical sense
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: or an analogy that he was using in terms of
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: people who want to be motivated or encourage or given
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: the tools for success. So in light of that, here's
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: something else I want to remind people love, because people
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: don't like to hear about the uncomfortable side of it.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You know, they want to just go. You know, I
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: want to sleep long as I want. You gotta get
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: this much sleeping. Okay, fine, fine, fine. I had to
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: come to that resolution after speaking the truth about sleep
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: as I know it. As I know it, I can't
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: tell you anything I don't know. I don't know how
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: to be successful sleeping a third of your life. I
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: don't know anyone that made it to success sleeping a
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: third of their life. I just don't know anybody. Now,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: if you're wealthy, you can sleep eight hours, but if
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you're trying to get there, I just don't know anybody
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: that's done it that way. And that's all I was
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: trying to speak about. So what I'm about to share
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: with you now is another thing. See and I want
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you to understand something about when you see people with
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: what you consider convenient lives. Convenience is built by inconvenience.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: It's just the way it is. Convenience is built by inconvenience.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: If you want to have a convenient life, you are
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: going to have to inconvenience yourself on many, many occasions,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: and it won't be just some every now and then.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: In order to have a convenient life, you are going
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: to have to spend a great deal of your current
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: life being inconvenient. It's the only way it's done. For
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. That's a
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: scientific law, but it's also a spiritual law. If you
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: do good to everybody, good will come to you. If
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: you do evil to everybody, evil gonna come your way.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: So convenience is built through inconvenience. For every action, there's
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: an equal and opposite reaction. So if you put out evil,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the equal and opposite reaction will be the equal is
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you gonna get evil to the opposite is is you
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: won't be putting it out, It'll be coming back to you.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So do you understand what I'm trying to say? So,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: if you want a life of convenience, it is built
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: through inconvenience. Another way to look at it is and
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: what I just had to come to terms with all
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: my journey to success. And this is not a negative, y'all.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: It's okay because success is very, very hard. It just is. Man.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I wish I could tell people it's not hard, but
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: it is. You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. If
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you're trying to be comfortable, you're going to have to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: get okay with being uncomfortable for stretches at a time.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry if that doesn't sound right to you.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: But if you talk to successful people, they will share
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: that information with you that you have to be comfortable.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Because it's uncomfortable
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to become successful. It's inconvenient to become success us for
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: it really really is. But these are things that you
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: have to be willing to cope with to get the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: equal and opposite reaction. The equal part is this, The
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: opposite part is this inconvenience will become convenient. That's it's
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: just that's the way it works. Man, I wish I could.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm saying it to you the
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: way I want to deliver the message. But I'm just
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: trying to get you to understand that it's okay. But
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: in your moments of uncomfortableness, in your moments of inconvenience,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you can rest assure that God is with you all
