- 1:42Speaker 2: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 6: You probably got to turn mouth turn out a wad
- 1:47Speaker 6: then up, look me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I have something, and it so describes how I was living.
- 2:17Speaker 7: It so captures the feelings that I had about beginning
- 2:23Speaker 7: on the pathway of my dreams. It so describes how
- 2:28Speaker 7: I felt when I was about to attempt something. And
- 2:33Speaker 7: I have some striking news for you. It describes often
- 2:37Speaker 7: how I feel still today to a degree. So let
- 2:41Speaker 7: me tell you what that is. Here's an analogy that
- 2:45Speaker 7: I've heard a couple of different ways, but I've kind of,
- 2:49Speaker 7: you know, fixed it around to where I can drink
- 2:52Speaker 7: it better, and I think it fits my personality to
- 2:55Speaker 7: describe it to people best this way. I've talked often
- 2:59Speaker 7: about the urgency of doing something with your life, of
- 3:05Speaker 7: getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting it off,
- 3:09Speaker 7: and waiting on all your ducks to line up in
- 3:12Speaker 7: a row, and waiting until the stars align themselves. If
- 3:16Speaker 7: you're waiting on such a thing, you're never gonna get started.
- 3:20Speaker 7: I don't know too many people who can say that
- 3:22Speaker 7: all the ducks just lined up in the row. Things happen.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Even when you get them lined up. One of the
- 3:28Speaker 7: ducks get out of line, or somebody knock over the domino.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Something happens. But here's the point I'm getting at. God has.
- 3:38Speaker 7: So many blessings available to you. You who's listening. God
- 3:46Speaker 7: has so many blessings available to you from where you
- 3:50Speaker 7: are right now. I don't care what you've gotten yourself
- 3:55Speaker 7: into or what you've done. God has so many blessings
- 4:00Speaker 7: that he can send your way. But you have to
- 4:04Speaker 7: do something. See a lot of people just sit around
- 4:09Speaker 7: and go man, I don't know. And something always happening
- 4:11Speaker 7: to you. You're always getting a break, You're always doing this.
- 4:14Speaker 7: You always do man, do nothing come my way?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Listen to me. If nothing ever comes your way. You
- 4:20Speaker 1: know why that is?
- 4:21Speaker 7: It's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not.
- 4:25Speaker 7: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:28Speaker 7: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:31Speaker 7: to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:36Speaker 7: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:39Speaker 7: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:43Speaker 7: He can set the ducks up in the row. But
- 4:45Speaker 7: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 7: hearts and set the ducks up in the row. For
- 4:51Speaker 7: what have you put forth any effort? Have you made
- 4:54Speaker 7: a single step in any direction to do the right
- 4:58Speaker 7: thing or go the right way? That gives him something
- 5:01Speaker 7: to put his finger on. Come on, man, God can
- 5:05Speaker 7: only bless you according to your faith. If you have
- 5:10Speaker 7: a little bit of faith, give him that. Let him
- 5:12Speaker 7: work with that. You know, man, I didn't always start
- 5:15Speaker 7: with these speeches.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You hear in the morning. Now. I ain't always had these.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I grew to these. I stumbled my way to these.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I messed up my way to these. Here.
- 5:25Speaker 7: I got it wrong so many times to be able
- 5:28Speaker 7: to sound like I got some sense, I said it often.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do you know how many
- 5:35Speaker 7: times I have had to have failed to have what
- 5:37Speaker 7: I have in my head today. I'm telling you, man,
- 5:41Speaker 7: it's a process. People get mad at the process. You
- 5:44Speaker 7: got to do something to give God something to work with.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He'll bless you.
- 5:49Speaker 7: But what you want me to bless If you ain't
- 5:50Speaker 7: putting forth any effort, you can get blessed from wherever
- 5:54Speaker 7: you are in your life. Wherever your starting point is,
- 5:57Speaker 7: wherever you find yourself wound up, you can get it
- 6:01Speaker 7: back from there.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 1: done it. I got over.
- 6:06Speaker 8: Man.
- 6:07Speaker 7: I learned some things along the way. Because here's the deal.
- 6:10Speaker 7: As long as God keeps waking you up in the morning,
- 6:12Speaker 7: he ain't through with you yet. When he's done, you're done.
- 6:15Speaker 7: But if God still has a plan for you you
- 6:18Speaker 7: wake up in the morning, he still got some more
- 6:20Speaker 7: work for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 7: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:25Speaker 7: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 7: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:31Speaker 7: walk towards him a little bit.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Here's the deal.
- 6:34Speaker 7: I know it's hard for the average person to start
- 6:38Speaker 7: because the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if
- 6:41Speaker 7: I fail? What if I don't get picked? You know,
- 6:44Speaker 7: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 7: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 7: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:52Speaker 7: gonna be a full time comedian after winning an amateur
- 6:55Speaker 7: night one time. Quitting your job, following your dream, going
- 7:02Speaker 7: for it despite all the nay says, it's like stepping
- 7:05Speaker 7: off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the
- 7:10Speaker 7: edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:16Speaker 7: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 7: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:29Speaker 7: and allow me to drift down.
- 7:32Speaker 1: See.
- 7:32Speaker 7: I've never scott dived before, but I would imagine part
- 7:35Speaker 7: of the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm
- 7:37Speaker 7: not going to sCOD dive to find out. I think
- 7:41Speaker 7: part of the thrill for people is the danger part
- 7:45Speaker 7: of throwing yourself out a plane and how it feels
- 7:48Speaker 7: to be free falling, but the whole time they're free falling,
- 7:52Speaker 7: having this exhilarating, over the top moment, you have got
- 7:57Speaker 7: to believe in your heart of hearts, I've got the
- 8:00Speaker 7: hope with everything in you that when you pull this
- 8:03Speaker 7: cord the shoot opens or else. This ain't a good
- 8:06Speaker 7: move at all. But you've packed your shoote yourself. You've
- 8:10Speaker 7: taken the lessons, so you go ahead and you make
- 8:13Speaker 7: the leap. Now, the only thing about quitting your job
- 8:15Speaker 7: and following your dream is you ain't really been trained
- 8:18Speaker 7: all that good for this. You done packed your shoot
- 8:21Speaker 7: but you ain't never opened it before. So I walked
- 8:25Speaker 7: off this cliff, That's what it was like. And you
- 8:27Speaker 7: following your dreamers like you walking off a cliff. Here's
- 8:30Speaker 7: the part where people don't never make the jump. They
- 8:33Speaker 7: see somebody like myself who jumped off the cliff and
- 8:37Speaker 7: the parachute don't open right away, and I hit a
- 8:40Speaker 7: couple of rocks on the way down. I got my
- 8:43Speaker 7: back cut up pretty bad. They see that three years
- 8:47Speaker 7: living in a car, man, he got it life toe
- 8:49Speaker 7: down jumping off that cliff. I ain't jumping off that cliff.
- 8:52Speaker 7: But see, what you don't understand is you don't know it.
- 8:56Speaker 7: But eventually the shoote will open, and I'm at the
- 9:00Speaker 7: parachute opening part of my life man, where it's shoot
- 9:04Speaker 7: then open, and I'm drifting and I'm able to guide
- 9:08Speaker 7: my chute over the Paris and glide. I've glided over
- 9:11Speaker 7: the Africa.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And seen what it looked like. It's a slow ride down.
- 9:15Speaker 7: When the pass chute finally opened and my back didn't
- 9:18Speaker 7: heel too and the cuts that I had on me,
- 9:21Speaker 7: I remember now I know how to stay away.
- 9:23Speaker 1: From the edge.
- 9:24Speaker 7: But the Paris chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 7: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 7: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 7: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:36Speaker 7: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:39Speaker 7: my dream. Your parachute is going to open, but I'll
- 9:42Speaker 7: tell you one thing for shore, It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 7: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:47Speaker 7: off that cliff. God to get the passchute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 7: But you got to jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:53Speaker 7: ain't it now? Question is the end of this story
- 9:55Speaker 7: right here today? When you jumping, you're listening hardy morning, Wake.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Up, wake up, wake up, wake up, rise and shine,
- 10:04Speaker 1: give yourself that stretch of that moaning you on and
- 10:07Speaker 1: sit on the edge of the bed, thank the man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and then you got to get up, get out and
- 10:11Speaker 1: get something. It is that great getting up Thursday morning.
- 10:15Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 10:16Speaker 1: That's what it is. It is a sound of the
- 10:18Speaker 1: one and only Nephew Tommy and I am here with
- 10:21Speaker 1: the beautiful Lady Shirley Strawberry. Call of Farrell and Junior Kill.
- 10:27Speaker 1: That's kill, Junior Boy Space. That's what I call him, Kill,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Junior Boy Space. Yeah. Everybody good, yes, good bye?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Ready for the fourth of July. Everybody good, Yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 9: Good man.
- 10:39Speaker 1: We're healthy, We're alive. We have a lot to be
- 10:41Speaker 1: thankful for. We Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 8: So yesterday we were talking about Junior when he was
- 10:50Speaker 8: planning is uh barbecue for the fourth and.
- 10:54Speaker 1: The twelve to three window?
- 10:56Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 10:57Speaker 8: Yeah, So how's that going? Because you know, your Father's
- 11:00Speaker 8: Day Jamboree was a.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It was a bus Yeah, epic fail.
- 11:06Speaker 10: Optimistic about this fourth but I have no faith in
- 11:10Speaker 10: it because of the Father's Day Jamboree. Probably I probably
- 11:12Speaker 10: don't know what's gonna happen, but that's what I wish.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 11:15Speaker 9: I found out my wife's family will be here, so
- 11:18Speaker 9: you know that way I have I.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Have excuse me, excuse me. You found out, Yeah, you met.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they be here for four Monday. They'll
- 11:32Speaker 9: be here on third.
- 11:33Speaker 1: So I found nobody. I found out what does that
- 11:37Speaker 1: mean on social media?
- 11:39Speaker 9: Wasn't no, it was just just a random conversation with
- 11:43Speaker 9: her passing through the kitchen. Family be here Monday.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Oh really better than that? We can't.
- 11:49Speaker 10: Yeah, well, you know the twelve to three is out.
- 11:51Speaker 10: I think it's gonna probably be out because they're gonna
- 11:53Speaker 10: be here.
- 11:53Speaker 9: And they staying there too.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Okay you are up stairs. Yeah, wait a minute, wait
- 12:06Speaker 1: a minute, they staying, They staying at your house. I mean,
- 12:10Speaker 1: ain't no hotels me about that? They can say it
- 12:13Speaker 1: and he.
- 12:13Speaker 9: Man, hey, man, I obviously don't make no decisions in
- 12:17Speaker 9: this house. Okay, that's all. Don't even worry about time.
- 12:19Speaker 9: I'm good.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Well, no, no, no, no, you're the man of the
- 12:22Speaker 1: house hold. On hold on. You call the shots at
- 12:25Speaker 1: your house.
- 12:26Speaker 9: So I'm gonna call them shots and be right there
- 12:28Speaker 9: on them.
- 12:28Speaker 1: On that couch.
- 12:29Speaker 9: Let me pick a choice. Here, this bed, at this couch,
- 12:31Speaker 9: the family is staying tim.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And see and see. That's why I bought me a
- 12:35Speaker 1: one couch. Always have a good couch because you never
- 12:38Speaker 1: know how it's gonna go out, get you a good couch. Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: so when the argument jump off, you know when you
- 12:43Speaker 1: go to the couch, it's damn me just as good
- 12:45Speaker 1: as the being. That's your logic, and stead no, get up,
- 12:54Speaker 1: you don't. You don't wind up on it. Get you
- 12:57Speaker 1: a good one though. You pick your battles, not an
- 13:00Speaker 1: award that you can get into. No, no, I ain't. No,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm not going to be walking through my house and
- 13:05Speaker 1: just find out somebody coming by there. Oh my wait,

- 54:36Speaker 1: I caught my boyfriend spending time with his wife.
- 54:39Speaker 6: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been in a relationship with a
- 54:42Speaker 6: man that has been separated from his wife for almost
- 54:45Speaker 6: a year. She has filed for divorce and he keeps
- 54:47Speaker 6: dragging out the court date because he doesn't want to
- 54:50Speaker 6: give her the house. He and I spend all of
- 54:52Speaker 6: our free time together, and I've stayed at his apartment
- 54:55Speaker 6: many nights. There were no signs that he wanted to
- 54:58Speaker 6: reunite with his ex. I don't snoop or ask a
- 55:01Speaker 6: lot of questions. I'm more of a go with the
- 55:04Speaker 6: flow girlfriend. I don't even mind that they share custody
- 55:07Speaker 6: of a dog, because a dog loves me. Lately, my
- 55:11Speaker 6: boyfriend has been out later than usual after work, and
- 55:14Speaker 6: when he comes in he's already eaten. He showers and
- 55:18Speaker 6: falls asleep on the couch. If I am not at
- 55:20Speaker 6: his place, we talk until he falls asleep, which is
- 55:23Speaker 6: usually early around ten pm. Two nights ago, he called
- 55:27Speaker 6: me after work and said he had a bad headache
- 55:30Speaker 6: and he was going to take it easy and relax.
- 55:33Speaker 6: A couple of hours later, I gave him a call
- 55:35Speaker 6: to check on him. I got concerned when he didn't
- 55:38Speaker 6: answer my text messages or calls, and my first instinct
- 55:43Speaker 6: was to go check on him. I got to his
- 55:46Speaker 6: apartment and his lights were on and I could hear
- 55:49Speaker 6: music inside, so I knocked really hard.
- 55:53Speaker 1: He didn't answer, so.
- 55:54Speaker 6: I went to my car and I was about to
- 55:56Speaker 6: call his mom when I noticed his wife's car parked
- 56:00Speaker 6: next to his. I'd seen it numerous times when she
- 56:03Speaker 6: dropped the dog off at his house. My first reaction
- 56:07Speaker 6: was to bust out her windows, but that's so out
- 56:10Speaker 6: of character for me. I left him a voicemail message
- 56:13Speaker 6: to tell him that I saw his wife's car and
- 56:16Speaker 6: that I was done with him. He hasn't even called
- 56:18Speaker 6: me back to explain or beg me to take him back.
- 56:21Speaker 6: He said, he hates his ex wife, so how could
- 56:24Speaker 6: he do me like this? Well, cruel because he's just
- 56:28Speaker 6: not man enough to tell you the truth, that's all.
- 56:30Speaker 1: He's not man enough to do that period.
- 56:33Speaker 6: He just wants to continue to lie and cheat and
- 56:35Speaker 6: deceive you, that's it. But because he changed his actions,
- 56:39Speaker 6: you already know that something was up. He stopped coming by,
- 56:43Speaker 6: he stopped answering your calls, all that he's working late.
- 56:46Speaker 6: Now that's a change in his behavior, so you know
- 56:50Speaker 6: you know something's going on. Plus you have proof you
- 56:53Speaker 6: saw his wife's car out there with your own eyes
- 56:56Speaker 6: and that was enough for you. Well let that be enough,
- 57:00Speaker 6: because you need to move on with your life. He's
- 57:03Speaker 6: back with his wife. It's pretty obvious they're spending time together.
- 57:07Speaker 6: He's kicked you to the curb. I know it's ugly.
- 57:10Speaker 6: It's painful right now, but time will heal your wounds,
- 57:13Speaker 6: and this too shall pass. So stop looking for him
- 57:16Speaker 6: to call you and beg you back. It hasn't happened yet.
- 57:19Speaker 6: It's not gonna happen.
- 57:20Speaker 1: He's not gonna do it.
- 57:22Speaker 6: Start putting your life back together without him. He's not
- 57:25Speaker 6: worth all of this. And remember that unless they're completely divorced,
- 57:30Speaker 6: there's always that chance that they could.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Get back together. There's all of all that chance. Come on, nephew,
- 57:36Speaker 1: you wouldn't have known nothing if it wouldn't have been
- 57:38Speaker 1: for that dog. That's the only reason why you know
- 57:40Speaker 1: all this evidence is because of this doll. Because when
- 57:43Speaker 1: she dropped the dog off, you saw her car. That's
- 57:46Speaker 1: the only reason why you know her car because it
- 57:48Speaker 1: is doll. And they share joint custody. I don't know
- 57:51Speaker 1: no black people that share some joint custody by no
- 57:54Speaker 1: damn doll. But anyway, it is what it is. Maybe
- 57:57Speaker 1: that's the new thing now, But anyway, he don't want
- 58:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say he don't want you no more,
- 58:03Speaker 1: but he ain't quite sure if he don't want his
- 58:05Speaker 1: wife no more, he's still he walked in the line,
- 58:08Speaker 1: all right. And yeah, when you went by the house
- 58:10Speaker 1: and banged on the dough, you want to hear from
- 58:13Speaker 1: somebody because women always want to hear it. Yes, they
- 58:16Speaker 1: was in there doing it. Okay, they was doing it
- 58:19Speaker 1: while you was knocking on the dough. I'm sorry. You
- 58:21Speaker 1: need to know this. You need to hear it from
- 58:24Speaker 1: someone that knows they was in depth doing it while
- 58:28Speaker 1: you was knocking on that dough. And that's why. And
- 58:30Speaker 1: when people are doing it, they don't answer the dough
- 58:32Speaker 1: and that's why. But let me ask you this, why
- 58:34Speaker 1: why are you finish? Go in and get in the
- 58:36Speaker 1: car and call his mom?
- 58:37Speaker 2: What did you?
- 58:38Speaker 1: But you roll with you the roll with the flow girlfriend,
- 58:42Speaker 1: But now you calling everybody? You the guy in your
- 58:44Speaker 1: in your car late at night and rolled over there
- 58:46Speaker 1: and see what's going on? Read worry by what?
- 58:50Speaker 5: What?
- 58:51Speaker 1: She wasn't worried? She was curious, that's not he told him.
- 58:54Speaker 1: He wasn't feeling well. He told her that she was worried.
- 58:57Speaker 1: You ain't go over there with no zoup. You ain't
- 58:59Speaker 1: going there with no soup and some and some nice
- 59:03Speaker 1: thorough flu. You ain't go over there with that. No,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you went over there to see that's what you wanted
- 59:08Speaker 1: to do. And you knocked on that door. And when
- 59:09Speaker 1: you guess what, nobody answered the door. That's when you
- 59:13Speaker 1: really see. Yes, they were doing it. Okay, And and
- 59:16Speaker 1: and listen, back together, if you just chill, if you
- 59:20Speaker 1: just chill, well, no, let's not even chill. He don't
- 59:23Speaker 1: want you. He don't want you. And here I'm sorry
- 59:27Speaker 1: they're back together. Well, I don't even know if he
- 59:30Speaker 1: want her. He just over there for the time being.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Really okay, I'm just letting you know that. And he
- 59:34Speaker 1: probably don't. You want the dog. He don't know what
- 59:36Speaker 1: he wants right now. You don't know what he wants
- 59:40Speaker 1: out of it. It's not the dog fault, but I'm
- 59:43Speaker 1: just saying he confused, He confused, He don't know what
- 59:45Speaker 1: he wants. He don't want the girlfriend. He don't know
- 59:46Speaker 1: if he wants the wife, him and the dog. You
- 59:49Speaker 1: don't know what he wants.
- 59:50Speaker 6: All right, we'll have part two of the Strawberry Letter
- 59:52Speaker 6: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The
- 59:55Speaker 6: subjects that caught my boyfriend spending time with his wife.
- 59:58Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: hard Morning show.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: All right, we have to recap today's Strawberry letter. The
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: subject I caught my boyfriend spending time with his wife.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: A young lady wrote this letter. She's been in a
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: relationship with a man that has been separated from his
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: wife for almost a year now, not quite a year.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: The wife filed for divorce and he kept he keeps
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: dragging out the court date because he she says, he
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: doesn't want to give her the house. So the lady
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: who wrote the letter says the husband and her spend
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: all of their free time together.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: She stated his apartment night times.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: There were no signs, no signs whatsoever that he was
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: still into his ex or he wanted to reunite with
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: his ex. She's not the snooping kind. She's just kind
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: of a go with the flow type of girlfriend, she said.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: But lately his.
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: Her boyfriend, the husband has been you know, making excuses
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: like you know, he comes over later and late, or
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: he doesn't come over at all, he stays at work late.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: You know, he had a headache, he couldn't he was
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: just gonna go to bed and all of this. So
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: she got worried one day and she went over there, uh,
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: to his house to check on him because he said
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: he wasn't feeling well, he.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Had a headache.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Well, come to find out there it's loud music playing,
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: the lights are all on, and then she notices the
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: wife's car in the driveway. So, uh, he didn't answer
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: the door. So she's suspecting that they're back together, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: she wants to know. She said they're done, So she
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: wants to know why he hasn't called to beg her back.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: And he said he hated his ex wife. So what
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: is this all about, Junior?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: What you got?
- 1:01:41Speaker 10: Because I'm just going to give you an equation. You know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 10: math have a lot of equations in.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: Let me let me just let you know. Wife is
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: greater than girlfriend.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Just right there.
- 1:01:56Speaker 10: Wife is greater than girlfriend. She outright you why she
- 1:02:00Speaker 10: know about you? She ain't worried about you, And I
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: can't believe you over hered the girlfriend. One A why
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: he's spending time with the wife. The nerve of you
- 1:02:07Speaker 10: to ask why he's spending time, I'll tell you where
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: us they're going.
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: They in there playing age town a loud knocking the boots.
- 1:02:14Speaker 10: Because wife is greater than girlfriend, that's not a problem.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: They in the body rockets.
- 1:02:23Speaker 10: Yeah, they're not worried about you because wife is greater
- 1:02:27Speaker 10: than girlfriend.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You think you think that's.
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: Something they're gonna be doing some more stuff that you're
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: gonna be mad at. You fitna be mad a long time.
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: Because I'm telling what you're gonna do when they take
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: that trip to Cancun. And because wife is greater.
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: Than girlfriend, I can't believe he took her, took his wife.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: U huh?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: The wife file for divorce?
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: Yeah that that don't matter, because but it's the wife
- 1:02:48Speaker 10: filed for divorce is greater than the girlfriend. See what
- 1:02:51Speaker 10: you're gonna do when he buy her another call? Because
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: the wife is greater than the girlfriend. I don't know
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: why you're sticking around asking questions. What you're gonna do
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: with he great?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Horring?
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: Wife is greater than girlfriend? Hey, how about he going
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: back to church with her? I bet you're gonna be
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: upset then, because wife is greater than girlfriend.
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: I don't see why you are made.
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: What you're gonna do when they take a ski trip
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: to Tennessee, You're gonna be mad for a while because
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: the wife is greater than the girlfriend, simple as that.
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: I don't I don't see how you how you mad?
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: What if he buy a new car? What's you gonna
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: do then?
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: Because it's his wife, he has to take care of her.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: It's his wife greater than girlfriend.
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: That you ma'am, You ma'am could stop asking these questions
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: that and look look that car you saw in the
- 1:03:35Speaker 10: parking lot.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: He could say that was that? Ain't the only one
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: they made with what you say? In the prank timming
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: that they throw the blue came in? How you know
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: that was the white car?
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: You have no idea?
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: What is you tripping? Both?
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: He's spending time with his wife, not another girl. His
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: wife and his wife outranks girlfriend. You think surely you
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: think he ain't told his wife about his girlfriend.
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: She already saw it. Bring the dog over there, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: so it doesn't matter to him. He got he got
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: the wife and he got the girlfriend.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: What is it?
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Tom, the dog know everything that's going on. If
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you talk to the dog. Yeah, if you get a
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: conversation with the dog, hes gonna let you know everything
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that happens is goinground the house. The dog know anything, and.
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: The dog like you. So why don't you just ask
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: the dog?
- 1:04:25Speaker 10: Well time, Yeah, she here Monday, Wednesday, Friday, that's when
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: she comes. You over here on savingday Sundays, Yeah, she'd.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Be over here.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: So I like the fact that she said she was.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: She told him she was done with him, So just
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: be done and move on with your life. That's it,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: it's over.
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: Move on.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She But why do why do females and y'all just
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: tell me this? Why do ladies never just say I'm
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: done and keep it moving? Why do they have to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: always have this this button up of closure to it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: That's what we like. We like closure, we But you're
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: not going to get that.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: You got.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Not all someone right, I can move on whatever. By
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: But she's saying, order to move on, right, But she's
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: saying she's done. But at the end, but at the end,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: what is she saying? Why is he not big and
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: for me back? Why is he not see what?
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: What?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: What's her ego? That's her ego talking? You do want
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: him to beg you back. You know you do want that.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: That is her ego talking. But the best thing she
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: can do for herself is to move on, be done
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: with him.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Like she said, that's it, that's right, it's over, and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: she cares about him. Yeah.
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: The part with women we care if there's a chance,
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: if there's a chance or an opportunity that this relationship
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: it can be fixed or we can work on it
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: if she wants to. Then that's a part too where
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: women try because of the time invested. Women are about
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: all this time that I put in and again it's
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: time back. That's something that we do a lot, and.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: We're emotional because men don't do that. Yeah no, yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: that's said Shirley.
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: You'll be marra wait till they spend time at Disney.
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: You really can be mad, all right.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: Look, post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Barby FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: Strawberry Letter podcast on the free iHeartRadio app. You can
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: download it right now. I'm coming up at forty six
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: minutes after the hour. It's Junior and Sports Talk right
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: after this.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: You're listening Hardy Morning Show, All right, Junior is here
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: with guess what sports talk? There's Sports Junior the time.
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: Some sports happen to be kind of talk about it. Man,
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: this is a big day for James Harden.
- 1:06:36Speaker 10: James Harden has to make a decision where you can
- 1:06:38Speaker 10: return to the Philadelphia seventy six ers and or is
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: he gonna go somewhere else and be an unrestricted free agent?
- 1:06:44Speaker 10: But he's if he stays with Philly, he's gonna make
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: thirty five point six meion next season.
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: So it's a big heart much yeah, Man, he gotta make.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: A decision today.
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: Not only does PHILLYDEP seventy six is concerned, strip clubs
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: across America we're gonna move because they want to know
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: what the city is he coming to because he gonna
- 1:07:02Speaker 9: upgrade him right away. I'm telling you James then bought
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: some calls and houses with but he spent in the
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: strip club. So everybody want to know, you know, you know, hey,
- 1:07:10Speaker 9: I'm telling your Memphis is in on this, The Nets
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: is in on this.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: He Hawks, the Hawks is in everybody with l An
- 1:07:19Speaker 10: on his wedd do he want to go? So we
- 1:07:22Speaker 10: got to wait for that decision today. Also another big
- 1:07:25Speaker 10: decision could happen to day too.
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: On tomorrow is uh on.
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: Friday, we gotta find out if Dame look it is
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: gonna stay in Portland.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Wow, that's a big one.
- 1:07:37Speaker 9: Because well because Dame Lude has been playing in Portland
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: so long without any help, and they trade off his
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: help and he just saying, you know, like he wants
- 1:07:45Speaker 9: to stay in Portland, but he's he's not closed to
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: find another team to play for us. And two teams
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: that are interested in him is the Nets and the
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: Miami Heat. Now that would help Jimmy out of lot
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: if Dame lived went to Miami and you got to
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: pay a nice healthy ticket for him too many.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 1:08:04Speaker 9: You gonna have to put up three first round picks
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: for Dame Lillard already and plus three or four players.
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: So it's it's a lot just to get Dame Lillard.
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: Now, I don't know if you want to go to
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: the next or to the Heat that those are the
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: two teams who are interested in them.
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: I like to see Dame compete for a ring man,
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: I really would.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: So san Antonio got the number one pick, right, Yeah,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: what's the kid's name? I can't say. Don't say nothing
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: about my mama, that's his name, time victim one young Yeah, okay, okay,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: mama with your ma. But who does san Antonio have
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: with him to actually make that a great squad?
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: We don't, man, They just young team. I mean, you know,
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: they just young. It's a bunch of young players in
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: San Antonio. I mean, I can see victorm making that impact,
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: but he don't. Don't think he has enough to get
- 1:08:57Speaker 10: a ring yet. But that's a start for them. And also,
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: you know, like also too, man. You know they said
- 1:09:03Speaker 10: that the Lakers, Man, the Lakers are gonna keep street
- 1:09:06Speaker 10: clothes and and Lebron.
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: James Anthony.
- 1:09:10Speaker 10: They're gonna keep Anthony Davis, Lebron James, Austin Reeves.
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: They gonna keep pretty much their whole core.
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: From next season, you know, even though they got swept
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: in playoff by the Nuggets. But they said they don't
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: keep their whole course. So it's gonna be anterybet to
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: see what happens in this free agency period.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: What's up with Draymond? You don't like Chris Paul's I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: Come all right, listen, thank you junior for sports Talk.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll tell
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: you where the best barbecue cities are?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening hard morning show. So Americans
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: take their barbecue seriously.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: We all know that, and everyone has their own idea
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: of where you can find the best barbecue. A lawn
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: care company compared the two hundred biggest cities and twenty
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: metrics rated related to good barbecue, including access to tasty
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: barbecue vendors, customer ratings, competition awards, and the number of
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: barbecue festivals. So here are the top ten. All right,

- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you put barbecue, you put barbecue on it.
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, but yeah, Omaha, number eight threw everybody off.

- 1:14:21Speaker 6: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, We'll have
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: The audio recording of Donald Trump talking about holding onto
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: classified documents has gone public.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: We've all heard about it.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: In the clip, recorded after Trump left office, the former
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: president is heard talking to a staffer in New Jersey
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: about holding onto documents from the Pentagon about plans to
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: attack Iran. The recording, which is a key part of
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: Special Counsul Jacksmith's case against Trump, lies in the face
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: of Trump's claims that he declassified documents before leaving the
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: White House or that he was unaware that the documents
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: he kept after leaving office were classified. In the recording,
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: Trump is heard saying, quote, see, as president, I could
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: have declassified it.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Now I can't. Isn't that interesting? It's so cool? What guilty?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: It's so cool? Yeah, don't mess this up. Okay, you
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: heard it from the horse's mouth. I've never seen somebody
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: that gets to be as stupid as they want to
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: be as a as a former president, well as a president,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: and as a former you could just you could just
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: say and be as stupid as you want to be
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: and get away with it. It's amazing to me. He
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: gets so many passes, so many passes.
- 1:15:51Speaker 9: Should be in jail.
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: He really should should be in jail, He really should.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: If this were Obama, he'd be up under the jail.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: You know what, you know?
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: See the day, no light of day, a four hour lockdown.

- 1:16:48Speaker 9: You need to go over there and get you some
- 1:16:49Speaker 9: of that shark man?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Or falling off the bone with that driver up on
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the shop. That's better than that bath back. I'm not
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: gonna eat this bath back. Give me that shark, okay, sark?
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, because people eat bess. I don't know, aboudy
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: just saying, you know, I had some great white last night.

- 1:17:32Speaker 5: It is?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: What all right?
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: Would you rather have an elephant's trunk attached to your
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: face or would you rather have a neck as long
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: as a giraffe?

- 1:18:04Speaker 1: in your nose.
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: You're just having a long elephant trunk, yeah, okay, oh yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: on a long neck.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: No, I want to get an elephant trunk.
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: I'm gonna take the giraffe, nick, Okay, I would have
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: some height.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: On me, but ain't. None of your shirt's gonna fit
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: though your shirt.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: I'm gonna be up there, all right.

- 1:18:40Speaker 6: ride a camel around the pyramid?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Which one? Blinding or right? Camel? I'm not tying myself
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: up going through the Amazon. No, I'm gonna zip through.

- 1:19:04Speaker 1: one I'm pold to be in between? I just that's
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: just so confused to me. I just know I'm gonna
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: fall off. I'm not on the right part of the camel.
