- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will come on and everybody you are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on now dig me one and only.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Man got a radio show. What God doing, y'all? Huh?
- 2:16Speaker 1: What are you doing? What are you doing in your life?
- 2:18Speaker 1: He's doing something, He moving, he working. Don't lose your
- 2:21Speaker 1: patients though, so I did that before. Don't lose your patience.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Don't don't. Don't get so sick of waiting that you
- 2:30Speaker 1: take matters into your own hands. Don't do that. Boy,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you're blowing it. Listen to me. You're listening to somebody
- 2:38Speaker 1: who's done it that way. I had a dream. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: had a vision. I had some hope, I had some faith,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I had some aspirations, but I got a little impatient
- 2:49Speaker 1: waiting on it. So I tried a couple other things
- 2:51Speaker 1: move it along. But I can't tell you how I
- 2:54Speaker 1: messed it up. Then I messed it up. Then, because
- 2:56Speaker 1: God gave me the power of decision, what I had
- 2:59Speaker 1: to do was then in after I took matters into
- 3:01Speaker 1: my own hand, messed it up. Now, guess what, He
- 3:05Speaker 1: still got something from me. But now I gotta fix
- 3:08Speaker 1: all the mistakes. Now, I gotta straighten them out. I
- 3:11Speaker 1: gotta I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay for
- 3:14Speaker 1: my transgressions. All of that, All of that, it's gotta
- 3:17Speaker 1: go down. You can't do something wrong and not pay
- 3:22Speaker 1: for it. It's just it's you call it, Calma, call
- 3:25Speaker 1: it whatever you wanna call it. Every action has an
- 3:28Speaker 1: equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just stays
- 3:34Speaker 1: sunny all the time, you might think it's cool, but
- 3:36Speaker 1: there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dog,
- 3:39Speaker 1: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:42Speaker 1: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite. You need the darkness,
- 3:50Speaker 1: so you can get your break from that sun. You
- 3:53Speaker 1: need to rain so you can nourish the roots, so
- 3:56Speaker 1: so that sun can it can soak up the sun
- 3:59Speaker 1: and get the bitter fit of the sun. If you
- 4:01Speaker 1: don't get the opposite, you you got a problem, man.
- 4:04Speaker 1: And it happens throughout nature, it happens throughout your life.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Don't think that you can do wrong and not have
- 4:11Speaker 1: to pay for that. See somebody as we're just going
- 4:14Speaker 1: to get with that now, because that's it. You reap
- 4:19Speaker 1: what you soul. That's it. That's that's that's standard. That
- 4:24Speaker 1: that's that's a rule, that's the law of nature. That's
- 4:27Speaker 1: God's law. You can't get around that. Don't care who
- 4:30Speaker 1: you are. You want to be the world's greatest drug
- 4:33Speaker 1: pin You're gonna die just like that. You read misery
- 4:37Speaker 1: on other people's lives, misery coming to your life. You
- 4:41Speaker 1: can justify it and call when I'm in a gang,
- 4:44Speaker 1: this is my hood. You call it whatever you want
- 4:46Speaker 1: to call it. With that foolishness, you file and you
- 4:49Speaker 1: out of line, and you're gonna pay for that. Do
- 4:51Speaker 1: you think this is man? We we we we think
- 4:54Speaker 1: man because we'd have made a decision that we think
- 4:57Speaker 1: is best for us and no matter how to fect
- 4:59Speaker 1: nobody else. We got the right to make that call.
- 5:01Speaker 1: No you don't, No, you don't. Whoever is telling you that,
- 5:06Speaker 1: whoever's misguiding you into the gang life, telling you, yeah, man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you need to be this a way to be down
- 5:11Speaker 1: with us. I'll tell you what. Get yourself stuck on
- 5:13Speaker 1: chuck with that gang. See how many of them be
- 5:15Speaker 1: there for you. Oh, they'll go around the corner with
- 5:17Speaker 1: you and start shooting. But okay, when it's time to
- 5:20Speaker 1: do some time and and and they can lessen their centers,
- 5:24Speaker 1: you're gonna get that time. They're gonna point their finger
- 5:26Speaker 1: dead at you. I watched for eight hours all the time, man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I watched a lock up row all the time, all
- 5:31Speaker 1: the time, man, all the time. Ain't no real cold
- 5:35Speaker 1: dudes out there, just holding to the mantre and sticking
- 5:38Speaker 1: to it. Even the mob turns stateside, evidence go fed
- 5:42Speaker 1: all that. Now we are the other hood. We didn't
- 5:45Speaker 1: created this ignorant mess called no snitching. With that ignorant mess,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals
- 5:51Speaker 1: as a code of honor. If you do dirt and
- 5:54Speaker 1: you get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name
- 5:57Speaker 1: up if I was with you. That's a code of
- 5:59Speaker 1: honor amongst the the ease. Now, so many code of
- 6:01Speaker 1: honor thieves that then came out of prison. They ain't
- 6:04Speaker 1: gotten no honor. They then bought that stuff back to
- 6:05Speaker 1: the street. Now that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching.
- 6:08Speaker 1: No snitching, you gotta be crazy. That's for people who
- 6:12Speaker 1: disobey the law. That's who people have made a code
- 6:15Speaker 1: of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you
- 6:18Speaker 1: get busted, don't drag me down. What you just do
- 6:20Speaker 1: your time? Oh man, you can't bring that stuff out
- 6:23Speaker 1: here to me. I'm a law biding citizen. Dog. I'm
- 6:26Speaker 1: trying to live right over here. Man. I don't want
- 6:28Speaker 1: to crack house up street from my mama's house. I'm
- 6:31Speaker 1: trying to do right out here. Man, you can't do
- 6:33Speaker 1: wrong and expect wrong not to come to you. You
- 6:36Speaker 1: gotta make a decision every day to do right. Ask God.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I was watching this thing on TV. This gang down
- 6:42Speaker 1: in Miami. They say a pray before they go out
- 6:45Speaker 1: and do a hit. What what? What? You're crazy? Who
- 6:50Speaker 1: who have you? Let tell you? This hottest work got
- 6:54Speaker 1: something ritual they go through. Man like God going honor
- 6:57Speaker 1: them and protect them on on some dirt. God ain't
- 7:00Speaker 1: got no protection you on dirt. You got what you
- 7:02Speaker 1: got coming. You made a decision. You go down there
- 7:06Speaker 1: to get something you you might got get got See,
- 7:11Speaker 1: we got to come on. I'm talking to so many
- 7:13Speaker 1: men out here right now. I should have said that,
- 7:15Speaker 1: didn't me getting, but my conversation kind of got away
- 7:18Speaker 1: from me. I was gonna talk to you about something
- 7:19Speaker 1: else this morning. But they're just only man because our communities. Man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's just going to the pot man, cause it ain't
- 7:25Speaker 1: nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they
- 7:30Speaker 1: see that young dude over the doing wrong. Look at
- 7:32Speaker 1: them foods over that man, Go over there and talk
- 7:34Speaker 1: to one of them. Put them to the side. Man,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you might not be able to approach the group, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, Let
- 7:42Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 7:46Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 7:50Speaker 1: you was doing. You know. It's like time he did
- 7:53Speaker 1: a prank phone call one time as a limo driver,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and the dude the prank was he called this limo
- 8:00Speaker 1: company to ask this limo driver to take him to
- 8:04Speaker 1: this location late at night, and the limo driver got
- 8:08Speaker 1: a young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I don't normally work like that. But how long you
- 8:12Speaker 1: need it? He said for just about an hour. He said, well,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: just needed for one hours. He said, okay, I'll give
- 8:21Speaker 1: you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave the address. The
- 8:26Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank, he said, yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 8:32Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He said yeah, and I'm gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 8:38Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it
- 8:41Speaker 1: that to do with the limo. He stopped writing. He said,
- 8:44Speaker 1: hold hold on, hold on, man. You want me to
- 8:48Speaker 1: take you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're
- 8:51Speaker 1: gonna be in there for a few minutes and you're
- 8:53Speaker 1: gonna come out, and you want me to float it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: He said, sir, I don't do stuff like that. He said,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you got the wrong company. He said, what made you
- 9:00Speaker 1: call here? He said, hey, man, don't worry about that.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You're limo come to you just dry. He stopped and
- 9:05Speaker 1: took the time out. He said, young man, let me
- 9:08Speaker 1: tell you something. He said, I've been down before, I've
- 9:11Speaker 1: been locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's
- 9:15Speaker 1: what's wrong with you young people today. Instead of going
- 9:17Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 9:19Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna tell
- 9:21Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 9:23Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 9:26Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 9:28Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 9:34Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money,
- 9:39Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 9:41Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 9:44Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 9:46Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 9:48Speaker 1: point I'm making is the man took out time. He
- 9:51Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 9:53Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up, young man. Let me
- 9:55Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 9:57Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no, see, I've done
- 9:59Speaker 1: that when I was young. Now I'm gonna stop and
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you. I'm
- 10:03Speaker 1: gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 10:10Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 10:12Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 10:14Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 10:16Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 10:18Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 10:21Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 10:25Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 10:27Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not
- 10:31Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us, who know what
- 10:34Speaker 1: man who it is is, to start delivering the message
- 10:37Speaker 1: the problem that we have in our communities. We could
- 10:39Speaker 1: solve ourselves. It'sn't escalated to a point because we who
- 10:43Speaker 1: are men won't stop on our corporate climb and our
- 10:46Speaker 1: day to day making money and trying to bawl out.
- 10:50Speaker 1: We won't stop and grab some of these young soldiers
- 10:52Speaker 1: and tell them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 10:55Speaker 1: so I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show, ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 11:04Speaker 1: and girls. When I have your attention, please, this is
- 11:06Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It has unofficially been announced
- 11:10Speaker 1: as one of the more ignorant shows on all of radio.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Unficially I heard second only to the Foxhole on serious film.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Now that's ignorant. I really can't explain that to nobody.
- 11:26Speaker 1: You just have to tune in one evening. That's all. Now.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Oh it's gone. It's they couldn't do it no more
- 11:36Speaker 1: that we have that to look for it. Well, no,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you have to have some people in here to control
- 11:40Speaker 1: your ignance. That's shirley and called. We're not gonna do that,
- 11:49Speaker 1: the one, the one I like it not on this show. No, No,
- 11:56Speaker 1: do you want to rethink your response to that story
- 12:00Speaker 1: hurting the brand. Yeah, all those are good things. Oh no,
- 12:05Speaker 1: you're not, Mr. Little big Shots. You know your titles
- 12:09Speaker 1: in your face? A little big shots? How many brand meetings? No, no, no, no, no. Family.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Every time they throw a show in my face, it's
- 12:22Speaker 1: the same as throwing the check out of window. Yeah exactly.
- 12:27Speaker 1: That reels you in right over back. So you're gonna
- 12:31Speaker 1: just toss these checks out the window because you want
- 12:34Speaker 1: to say that. Let me day something, Mr Apollo, what
- 12:41Speaker 1: you're not gonna do. It's mess our career up to right.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We're not sitting here, but that's real love right there.
- 12:53Speaker 1: All control and I need to pull up, pal. Everybody
- 12:57Speaker 1: needs a pull up, somebody that will pull ow you up.
- 13:02Speaker 1: That's all Kanye need. That's what you need to pull up.
- 13:05Speaker 1: We're not a pull up? Or what the blank you doing? Yeah? What?
- 13:09Speaker 1: First of all, let me just say this, and I
- 13:11Speaker 1: love Kanye, I really do. He's a cool dude. But
- 13:15Speaker 1: somebody drove him to TMZ a time somebody would have
- 13:23Speaker 1: had to say, all right, man, easy, what we're doing today?
- 13:26Speaker 1: A man? Take me down to TMZ. You're gonna go
- 13:29Speaker 1: on TMZ for what I want to talk about? Slavery
- 13:31Speaker 1: and how slavory a choice? I know it was a choice.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Oh not a hell you know? No, no, no, no,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we almost the man. No, hey, hey dog, No we
- 13:43Speaker 1: ain't almost Calabama. No. No. What we're gonna do is
- 13:47Speaker 1: we're gonna go get a drink or we're gonna go
- 13:49Speaker 1: do something like that. But you're not hearing what I'm saying. Now.
- 13:52Speaker 1: This is a kind of ignorance. I like choice. No, no, no, no, yeah. Yeah.
- 13:56Speaker 1: What you do is get on TMZ and say that
- 14:00Speaker 1: you know. Amen? Amen? You know black people? Do you?
- 14:04Speaker 1: You didn't have to pick cottons? Did you? Did you
- 14:12Speaker 1: see that meme of the workers in the cotton fields
- 14:15Speaker 1: and one guy was on the computer opting out of slater?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Ye here my last day here? All right? Well, listen.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Coming up, coming up next hour at seven twenty eastern
- 14:30Speaker 1: and six twenties Central, our friend, the beautiful actress Gabrielle
- 14:34Speaker 1: Union will be our special guest. She's going to tell
- 14:36Speaker 1: us about a brand new movie breaking in. But right
- 14:39Speaker 1: now it is time for something funny, and uh, we'll
- 14:42Speaker 1: do that right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 14:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up next hour at seven twenty Eastern
- 14:50Speaker 1: and six twenties Central. Gabrielle Union will be our special
- 14:54Speaker 1: guest to tell us about our new movie breaking in
- 14:57Speaker 1: right now, though, it's time for something funny and Steve,
- 14:59Speaker 1: as you know, this Sunday is Mother's Day? Can you
- 15:02Speaker 1: give us just a hint? You always plan such beautiful,
- 15:05Speaker 1: big things and surprises for your wife. Marjorie Mama, What
- 15:10Speaker 1: what I'm gonna get that? Hey, that's not you. Your
- 15:14Speaker 1: wife is not your mom? Dog? Why are you buying
- 15:18Speaker 1: stuff for her? First of all, always do nice stuff
- 15:22Speaker 1: for her Mother's Day. Mothers are special people. And this
- 15:27Speaker 1: year she's gonna be with her mom. You know she's
- 15:32Speaker 1: gonna send all of them are gonna be with her
- 15:35Speaker 1: and her mom this. But what is you buying her?
- 15:39Speaker 1: What is you buying herself? Because I appreciate her being
- 15:42Speaker 1: the mother, which allows me to free up to do
- 15:45Speaker 1: my duties as a provider for this family. Because she
- 15:49Speaker 1: is the mother she is, it frees me up to
- 15:51Speaker 1: be the provider that I am. You will show more
- 15:54Speaker 1: appreciation for yours. Maybe you'd be a little bit for
- 15:59Speaker 1: my mom. You're about what for your mama? About stuff
- 16:02Speaker 1: for my mom? But you even think cuss words when
- 16:10Speaker 1: it ain't cuss words. All I'm saying is I buy
- 16:12Speaker 1: stuff for my mama. My wife is not my mamam problem,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and since we own in Houston, she can get this
- 16:25Speaker 1: ignorant ass thoughts. You keep having what you're showing a
- 16:29Speaker 1: lack of appreciation for the fact that she is the
- 16:31Speaker 1: mother of your children. And I appreciate that, but my
- 16:35Speaker 1: children need to buy stuff for that is your damn
- 16:39Speaker 1: kids gonna get the money from their daddy, Dad, as
- 16:54Speaker 1: soon as you have the means to buy Rose Rosses.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Your wife's gonna had wondering why her gifts its little
- 17:03Speaker 1: as strange made with popsicles pitched from the kids. My
- 17:07Speaker 1: wife is very well taken care of, so I don't
- 17:09Speaker 1: want to hear that part now. Ain't nobody said you
- 17:12Speaker 1: wasn't till we're talking about MoMA. She ain't my mama.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You're back on that cool, Keep on with that thought
- 17:21Speaker 1: a matter fact, we can't call. I don't care she
- 17:23Speaker 1: ain't my mama. It's funny right now, it's funny. I'll
- 17:27Speaker 1: tell you what, Tommy. I'll tell you what. Tommy text
- 17:30Speaker 1: me her phone number. I texted to you right now,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and my also text you, she ain't my mama, dog
- 17:38Speaker 1: dog text me I've been the texted tell you right now,
- 17:42Speaker 1: go ahead, I ain't scared. I ain't no scared. Please
- 17:45Speaker 1: just texted to me how you feel this discussion. We
- 17:52Speaker 1: haven't talked about it, but it's funny right now. It's hious.
- 17:57Speaker 1: But she's not my mom. Whole left, but let's gets
- 18:00Speaker 1: revisit on Monday. Hey, man, no, no, no, we ain't gonna.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I didn't sit the number now you know because the
- 18:09Speaker 1: trash talk here is not the trash talk to these
- 18:13Speaker 1: that you hear all that base in his voice here?
- 18:16Speaker 1: That isn't it now? Man, my mom, it's mama's day.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Ain't wife day? Yeah? When you get a wife day?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Then I started buying something wife day. Can you record
- 18:31Speaker 1: this when you go home so we can hear what
- 18:32Speaker 1: that sounds like? Do we hear us says? JA celebrate mother,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I celebrate my mama. Okay, you don't see me buying
- 18:43Speaker 1: stuff for other people. Mama about stuff from my mom?
- 18:47Speaker 1: But Jackie ain't my mama. Yeah, yeah, you need you
- 18:54Speaker 1: need that same pull up? He kanya head. Yeah, ain't
- 18:58Speaker 1: got I'm trying to be that. Yeah, it's not working
- 19:02Speaker 1: it's not I'm trying to say. This ain't the thought
- 19:05Speaker 1: pus you want to put out. Tommy is Kanye his
- 19:08Speaker 1: whole situation. But Tommy is adamant about it here. That's good,
- 19:15Speaker 1: just as cool a mama. He buy stuff and his mama. Listen, listen, listen.

- 38:04Speaker 1: the one and only Gabrielle Union my dog Willie will
- 38:08Speaker 1: pack Money. Gabby. How you doing, man? I'm so good,
- 38:18Speaker 1: feeling so blessed, just happy, happy, happy lady. Right now, girl, girl.
- 38:22Speaker 1: You're riding the wave right now. You're getting it in.
- 38:26Speaker 1: You're doing it. Dog on it. And ladies and gentlemen,
- 38:29Speaker 1: my dog Willie will packle Willie Will's family. Listen, man, listen,
- 38:38Speaker 1: not only his gab line. The way here is the
- 38:40Speaker 1: same gap is whooping ass in this movie, y'all. First
- 38:44Speaker 1: of all, one you know how you run on that
- 38:49Speaker 1: wrong one, the on the wrong one when the gap house.
- 38:54Speaker 1: But she also is producing this with me. This is
- 38:57Speaker 1: the thing I love about. People don't know. She stept
- 39:00Speaker 1: behind the seed and together we went out, got the
- 39:03Speaker 1: fun of that. They found the distribution, hired the director,
- 39:07Speaker 1: all of that, So Gavir and behind the stace. So
- 39:17Speaker 1: sometimes we got to remind ourselves that we are capable
- 39:19Speaker 1: of great man and we can't put limits on ourselves.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We can't just be talent, we can't just be producing
- 39:26Speaker 1: that we can we can be the heroes that we
- 39:28Speaker 1: want to see in our own lives every day. And
- 39:31Speaker 1: I had to remind myself of that, and uh, and
- 39:33Speaker 1: then and then partner with the right kind of people,
- 39:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean, who want to lift you
- 39:37Speaker 1: up and not tear you down. And this is this
- 39:39Speaker 1: is me and Will's third project that we produced together,
- 39:42Speaker 1: and man, I'm just incredibly last. That's right. Well, let
- 39:48Speaker 1: me ask you this, Gavil. You in your role in
- 39:51Speaker 1: this movie as Sean Russell in the movie Breaking in
- 39:54Speaker 1: your Mom, You've playing this getaway with your kids out
- 39:58Speaker 1: to the countryside, but something happens and turns into a
- 40:02Speaker 1: crazy vacation. So tell us what you care about to move.
- 40:06Speaker 1: She's you know, it really all chicks off. And I
- 40:09Speaker 1: don't know how many y'all out there have been on
- 40:10Speaker 1: a long ride with your kids and as soon as
- 40:13Speaker 1: you get where are you going, You're like, I need
- 40:15Speaker 1: a drink. So that's what Seawan did. She said, I
- 40:18Speaker 1: need a drink when you step outside, just give me
- 40:20Speaker 1: a second. And the second she stepped outside for a
- 40:23Speaker 1: glass of wine, the bad guys are in her house
- 40:27Speaker 1: and have taken her kids hostage and she has to
- 40:32Speaker 1: move Heaven and Earth, you know, she and she has
- 40:35Speaker 1: she has in have shoes on. Y'all was there foot
- 40:38Speaker 1: but just for a glass wine. And next thing, you know,
- 40:40Speaker 1: she's got to be you know, she's got to summon
- 40:43Speaker 1: the powers of Wakanda and all the vibrators and whoop,
- 40:48Speaker 1: everybody's asked to try to save herself and her kids.
- 40:52Speaker 1: When you make a system, man, No, that's one thing
- 40:55Speaker 1: you can't play with a mom and her kids. This
- 40:57Speaker 1: movie should resonate with everybody. Everybody, all right? Coming up
- 41:04Speaker 1: in ten minutes, guys at thirty or four after the hour,
- 41:06Speaker 1: more with Gabrielle Union and Will Packer. You're listening to
- 41:13Speaker 1: the Steve alright, we're talking to our girl, Gabrielle Union
- 41:18Speaker 1: and Will Packer. It's about their brand new movie Breaking In. Uh,
- 41:22Speaker 1: it's in theaters right now. Come on, Steve, now, Will
- 41:25Speaker 1: what made you seek out Gabrielle for this movie? You know,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'll tell you. We were working on another project together
- 41:33Speaker 1: and somebody brought the concept to me of what would
- 41:37Speaker 1: happen if you had a mom that actually had to
- 41:40Speaker 1: break into the highly fortified house where the bad guys
- 41:43Speaker 1: are in there with the kids, and you needed somebody
- 41:45Speaker 1: to have physicality. Streams had an amazing skill set that
- 41:49Speaker 1: could not only be physical, but to show depth and emotion.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And I was working with Gap. I said, gab you
- 41:54Speaker 1: know you haven't really like been physical or screen says
- 41:58Speaker 1: bad boys too. Would you be down to get down
- 42:01Speaker 1: again and do an action movie, and and Gabs told
- 42:03Speaker 1: she said, I've been waiting for the right project to
- 42:06Speaker 1: do that with, and so there was never any thought
- 42:08Speaker 1: of anybody else for this movie other than Gas. She's
- 42:11Speaker 1: hus to see when I tell you think got her
- 42:15Speaker 1: she's climbing on rude fawling running through this is We
- 42:18Speaker 1: had a black woman running through the woods with no
- 42:20Speaker 1: shoes on. So you know this movie is just so yeah, Picule,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I don't remember you get yabig Are you sure? I
- 42:33Speaker 1: don't have sues on? I remember that conversation vividly. Ge. Wow,
- 42:39Speaker 1: this movie sounds like it's really good. I've been seeing
- 42:41Speaker 1: the posters, so I just want you to know that
- 42:44Speaker 1: they're plugging this thing, you know, you know, because we
- 42:49Speaker 1: we all know, we all know how it can happen,
- 42:51Speaker 1: and they sometimes don't done always. Uh give us all
- 42:55Speaker 1: the resources and the support and the promotion that that
- 42:57Speaker 1: that that our films deserved, and and we are really
- 43:00Speaker 1: really lucky and blessed in this one, that that we
- 43:03Speaker 1: were able to make a great movie and then get
- 43:06Speaker 1: a bunch of screens. This is the most screens I've
- 43:09Speaker 1: had for a film, and I don't know how long
- 43:11Speaker 1: and over a decade, and you know we are acting well,
- 43:26Speaker 1: you don't have the excuse that. And when we when
- 43:33Speaker 1: we talk about we want more films that are centered
- 43:36Speaker 1: around our stories and around characters that look like us.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I've been in this business twenty three years and I
- 43:42Speaker 1: have never been number one on a call sheet, you know,
- 43:45Speaker 1: starring in a movie about my character. It's never happened, never, never,
- 43:52Speaker 1: So I just hope that you know, if we want
- 43:54Speaker 1: more of this, we've got to support the films that
- 43:57Speaker 1: are coming out that are starring, you know, people that
- 44:00Speaker 1: look like us. If we want, if we want there
- 44:02Speaker 1: to be real inclusion, we got to use our I mean,
- 44:05Speaker 1: the buying power in black and brown communities is so
- 44:09Speaker 1: immensued that we can create stars and keep them there.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I don't think we understand our power. And I just
- 44:17Speaker 1: want us to flex it this weekend and every weekend,
- 44:20Speaker 1: just to let the studios and networks know that we really,
- 44:24Speaker 1: truly do want to see ourselves reflected all the time,
- 44:27Speaker 1: not just sometimes we're on occasion or or event movies.
- 44:31Speaker 1: We want to see all kinds of stories, and this
- 44:34Speaker 1: is how we do it by supporting help people come out.
- 44:37Speaker 1: This week, I'll tell you what alright, alright, listen up,
- 44:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvy Nation, everybody listening. Here's the deal. The movie
- 44:44Speaker 1: comes out, it's in theaters now. It's in theaters as
- 44:47Speaker 1: we speak right now. So listen to me carefully. You
- 44:51Speaker 1: can order your tickets online so you don't have to
- 44:54Speaker 1: stand in line. That guarantees that that ticket gets the
- 44:58Speaker 1: credit for it. Second, Sam, when we go to the movie,
- 45:02Speaker 1: make sure the ticket that you receive has breaking in
- 45:06Speaker 1: on it. Do not accept any other ticket. Make sure
- 45:08Speaker 1: your step says breaking it. They have to give you that,
- 45:11Speaker 1: they hand you something else, give it back down what
- 45:13Speaker 1: you want. We want to turn out in large numbers.
- 45:16Speaker 1: We want to go see this film. This film is
- 45:18Speaker 1: representative of us, of the of the working with cabe
- 45:22Speaker 1: lew and this is our girls, first movie where she's
- 45:26Speaker 1: the lead on the call sheet. That we're not gonna
- 45:30Speaker 1: let this go down without our full support. Gabrielle and
- 45:34Speaker 1: Will Packer, We're looking out for y'all this and I
- 45:41Speaker 1: promise you I'm gonna do the girl. Twenty three years,
- 45:43Speaker 1: this bad girl been in this business. It's our first
- 45:45Speaker 1: time head name on the lead of a call sheet.

- 1:19:56Speaker 1: what That's what I'm saying. Junior with Rockets on, I'm
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I'm with Houston and six. I don't know. Oh you know,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to root for y'all. Okay, what You're gonna
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: have to quit saying stupid? That a stupid You really
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: think that that Golden State ain't gonna push you seven games?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: You I can't have. I'm from Houston. What I do
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: give seven game? You think I want to go seven?
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: I don't want to go. You want to go six? Okay, quick, okay,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: quit won't sick because six it could go the other way.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Now you got a chance if it go to seven,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: because it will come back to Houston. You're not gonna
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: win it up there in Golden State. You're not. I
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: don't like your attitude. I don't like you. You know,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: just believe you know what, y'all. Just like the President,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: what all of a sudden, soon somebody say something gets you. Now,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: that's fake new, see, y'all, Just like man, listen to me,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I have the right to talk trash the way Trump
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about you and Junior. I know what you're saying.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: See y'all. Y'all, y'all donna understand that all the trash
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: talking y'all have been doing it long as me Tommy
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: couldn't do it when he was in Cleveland because he
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: was too shot. They would let me talking, so Tommy
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: couldn't participate in trailer. I've been talking to trash my
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: whole life. Man, Well, how what's that? What's the prediction
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: for Cleveland and Boston? Yeah? What you got for that day?
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Since we can't go and see, we gotta go. What
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: y'all gonna do? Yeah? The Sweet five five, five, four
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: and one, don't y'all could be home. But you still
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: can't do it. Man. Five. It's a superior team to
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Boston without Kyrie Irvin and without that all that white
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: boy that got hurt. Yeah, yeah, they're not. They're not
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: the team they put the Yeah, but I didn't think
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: they get this fall with Kyree and they're doing it, man, Yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: they're doing it, but they ain't seen Lebron ok last night?
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: To do? They asked the amateur, the little light skiing
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: boy had a great game, said, how do you feel
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: about going up against Lebron? Jane? He said, this is
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: my first year. I don't even know. He would all said.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, this this is my first year.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I don't even know. But we're gonna have some meetings
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and figure it out. We're gonna sit down. So you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: think Bron Bron just gonna go in there, his name Len,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: his name is Bron. That Kevin is in five, Bron
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Brown in fact five. And then we're gonna rest and
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: wait on y'all. But we were coming soon we get
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: through with the light skiing boys. We're on that way.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: But let me tell you something. Y'all quit talking about
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: the light skiing boars like that's a like, that's a negative.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Don't know how y'all as boys just hitting them. We
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: don't get I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I can't tell you something. They play dogs are there?
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Have you seen already? Dog don't matter, Copella don't get
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: no black dog. It don't mac skin tone ain't got
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: nothing to do with this. Let's just be honest. Let's
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: stop this interracial hating. Yeah, all them dudes is black
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: and they bring in pain. You quit talking like y'all
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: fing to run through the world channel with six damn games.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: We number one. They number two. That's how it is.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: That's that's so. And Toronto Raptors was number one. We're here.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Toronto Raptors was number one. Number one don't mean nothing.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: We swept theirs. Got you. We number one, they number two.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: They're coming to us first. That's all I'm saying. Man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I want the Rockets to win. I hope they win
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: the whole series, and if they win the whole series,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: they're gonna come with Cleveland. But then, let me explain
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: something to you. It's gonna be what y'all to find
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: out something though, Okay, we're gonna find let's find out
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: something too. No, no, no, you mess. You get your
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: ass in them finals with us with the Cleveland Coals,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: and you've been to find out something about us. Get
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: past Boston first, then we'll talk. Who wha? You got
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: a harder task than I do it? Yeah, well it's
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: gonna be way harder for y'all. Draymond and already said
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: what help? Yeah you think? Oh you got nicknames? Now on?
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Hold on, hey, hold on, little show. That's what y'all
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: is called team but we sent it. But it's too
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: ugly as people calling people. I'm not the leader of
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: this show is ugly, but I'm not up. We'll be
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: back with more of this foolishness. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning, show.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: A survey by Planet Fitness finds at seventy percent of
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: folks say their mom is the strongest person they know,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and strength is definitely important to most mothers. Now, as
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: far as Mother's Day, if you want to know what
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: moms really want, in addition to the beautiful flowers and
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: the gifts and everything, it seems like a little me
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: time is a good start. The survey finds of moms
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: don't make room for enough me time. They are so
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: desperate for it many would do anything for some me time.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: For example, forty percent would be willing to stand in
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: line at the d m V if it meant having
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: more me time. While that's crazy right, While would give
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: up check it out. We'll give up sex for a month.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: And yeah, that's crazy right, you're not a mom? Yeah
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: all right, Carlo. What would you do with your me time? Girl?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: I think I would lock myself up in the bath room,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: bubble bath, a whole bottle of wine and tell everybody
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: don't bother me for yes, at least three hours. Come
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: out of the tub and get in the bed and
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: just watch my favorite movies. Look real prunish, you know,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: don't worry about shut up this is my time you walk? Well,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: I guess Shirley would just spend Yeah, that's what she'd
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: do with her free She did it right, walk out. Yeah.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: What do you think Marjorie would do, Steve with with
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: her free time? Just little me time, just carve out
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: a little bit. And she loves to travel, you know probably, Yeah,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Steven gonna do a couple of smith sides. They're trying
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: to get you with that, don't that's their fame. It
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: takes the whole day, man, it does take a whole day. Yeah.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: What about what about you, junior? What about your mom?
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: A little me time? What do you think she would love?
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: My mom would go to woman and somewhere she gonna
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: she's gonna get somewhere alone by you can't find he
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: can't call another going out there. She got a house
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: side in the country they go to every weekend. Uh huh.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: They go out there. You cannot find it. And she
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: just sitting on the porch. Her girlfriend's laughing. That's nice.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: That's me time. Okay, Tommy, we heard from your wife
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: earlier about right it's gonna be Christmas. She has much
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: stuff to open. You have a lot of stuff comes
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Sundays what get But she will have a spot treatment
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: she can go to on Monday. That way she you know,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: when when when the kids are gone, she can go
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: through my things. But I gotta taken care of. She
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: taken care of, y'all put me on the spotty. I
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: was just doing some jokes. Thank yall. She ain't my MoMA.

- 1:28:08Speaker 1: wine tasting. Wine tasting, yeah, and art, you know what.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: That's the new thing now, art and wine tasting. Yeah. Art, Yeah,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: they have these wine tasting things end up with a
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: pitching drunk painting, painting, yeah, yeah they do. They have
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: parties like snipping paint. Yeah. Yeah, I went to a
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: birthday party like that. All right, Well, we'll be back
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: at thirty three after the hour more the Steve. I
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: haven't more to show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: The Sunday will be Stevie wonder sixty eight birthday. He
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: is a musical Yeah, sixty eight, right, So Steve tell
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: us about the time when Stevie Wonder drove your car.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Remember that, Yes, you know. I didn't know blood People
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: was funny. It ain't blind people. So I just bought
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: this new truck called Lincoln Wood by Lincoln special Edition.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: Truck had black wood painted on the side. It was
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: a pickup truck. Just I didn't want it that big
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: a deal brand knew. I bought it. That morning Steve
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: was supposed to come up and perform on the show.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Stevie traditionally late. Wasn't expect him to be there at seven,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: so I parked my truck. I going upstairs. So he
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: shows up. He ain't upstairs yet. My security guys in
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: on it. He said, uh m's time. I need your keys.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: I gotta movie truck because they're trying to get some
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: stuff in that back door truck. I saw. I gave
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: the key. I'm sitting up here waiting on Stevie. So
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: I get a phone call on the board and the
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: producer said, Steve, you got a phone call on the board.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: So it's going through the public now. So I pick
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: it up. I go Yeah. He said, uh, man, are
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: you doing? I said, Stevie, where you at? Man, you're
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: supposed to be here. Oh, man, I'm just riding around.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: And I said, come on, dog, we're been here waiting
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: on you. We got all this equipment put in here
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: and everything. But you mean you're riding around? He said,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: look out your window and we're on the nineteenth floor.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: So I go over and I look out the window
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and I see my brand new black Lincoln out on
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: the street. I don't see this arm waving. I said,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: you see that um waving out you out the window
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: of your brand new Lincoln with truck. I said, yeah.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: He said, that's me. I'm driving your truck. And he
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: was driving Stevie Water was out on the street behind
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: the wheel of my car. It's me, I'm driving your
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: brand new truck. Many thing right, What does that feel
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: like when you look at the window and you see
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: a blind guy driving your cup? Jake real sick and
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: it was and he had it moving a little bit.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Was moving. Yeah, yeah, I said, he wasn't park he
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: was moving. We were laughing. Man, he really is, Yeah
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: he is. I did his house full of toys one
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: time too Man hosted it for him. It was one
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: of the good on that show. Man introduced his kid
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: named Justin Bieber. You know he had already blew up
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: the girls was in there at the scene because I
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: can't running the only white girls in there. Didn't that
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: just honed Justin Bieber. But I introduced Michael McDonald. Well,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: Michael McDonald came out there. He came up to me, said,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: I don't want to thank you, man, because everybody tells
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: me how you speak of me on your show. He's
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: the baddest he is in the group. This dude. For me,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: we'll go down as one of the great artists keep
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: of all time. I'm not in love anymore. I keep forgetting.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: Things will never be the same again. Keep tell me
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: how come I keep forgetting? Forget? That's for damn show.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Thank you, bitter man. All right, coming up our last
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: break of the day and Steve's closing remarks. Right after this.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Show. Here are our last break
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: of the day, Steve's closing remarks. What you got for Steve?
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: All right? Uh listen uh today this morning, before we
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: got on that hour, was sitting I was talking to
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: j Anthony and Junior when you're having a conversation, and
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: they said, man, you should do that for your clothes
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: and remarks today. So this is based on a conversation
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: we have. We were talking about advancing in life. We
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: were having a conversation about what you are willing to
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: do to advance in life? Are you are you willing
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: to drop everything? Are you willing to make sacrifices? What
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: are you willing to do to get to where you
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: really want to be? So what we were talking, I
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: was talking about a person that I know that had
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: a decision to make. He has a he has a
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: nice home, he has a good job, and he lives
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: in a certain city. Right now, He's got a nice home,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: a good job, and lives in a certain city. An
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: opportunity was presented to him, but the opportunity was in
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: another city. But if he took this opportunity, he would
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: have a better job and which would enable him to
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: buy and even nicer home. He didn't do it. As
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: I was talking to my friend about man, why didn't
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: you do it? He said, Hey, man, because I'm comfortable here.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: I'm all right with this. He said, Man, my job,
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: it's all right. He said, My house is cool. Man.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: It's a little small, but but it's cool, and I
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: like living here. Man. I got some friends, I got
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: some family here, this city right here. I'm gonna just
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: go home, stay here. End of conversation, Steve. I know
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: what You're gonna try to talk to me out of it,
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: but end of conversation. So I stopped talking to him.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: But when I left him, I was sad. I was
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: so sad for this guy, and it never ever stopped
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: bothering me. What he said. He said, I'm okay here,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna just stay here. My job is all right. Man.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: This house it's a little small, but the city cool.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I got some family and friends is cool. I know
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: you're gonna try to talk me out of it, Steve,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: but I'm I'm good right here. But that decision he
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: made really bother me because, Man, I'll tell you why
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: you troubled me so because I said, Wow, here's a
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: guy that I know who had looked over the fence
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: with me. Man, the dude I grew up with. Man,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: we used to ride our bikes, sit on the steps
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: playing that's my car. When they came back. This is
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: the same dude. Man. We used to ride our bikes
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: and act like we was riding out the country. Me
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: and my dude man. We always talked about doing something big,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: and when the opportunity came, he froze because he was comfortable.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: He was comfortable with his alright job in his house
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: that wasn't really big enough, in the city of friends
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: and family that he had. He didn't want to go
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: to the new city. He didn't want the job that
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: paid more. He didn't want the opportunity to buy a
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: bigger homes because it would have taken him out of
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: his comfort zone. Because he wasn't comfortable in the new city.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: He was comfortable in the current city and he was already.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: It just worked himself up to say I'm okay with
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: my house the way it is. You can be okay
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: with the house you with, You can be okay with
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: the job you you can be okay with the car
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: you driving. But if opportunity presents itself to go to
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: become great. There are three things I'm about to give you,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: and all three things say the exact same thing. I'm
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: just saying that three different ways in case you got
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: to hear it. The best way you need to hear it.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: These are all three the same thing, just which one
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: fits you back. You can't get there if you're never
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: attempt to go there one more time. You cannot get
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: there if you never attempt to go there, same thing,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: different way of saying it. You can't go if you
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: never leave. My father, you say this to me all time.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: You can't go, boy, if you never leave, you know, man,
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: you you can't go. If your feet don't move, you
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: just can't. You can't go if you don't leave where
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: you're going. If you don't leave, if you don't leave,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: you ain't going away. You got to leave something to
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: get to the next level. The next level requires you
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: to leave. The next level requires you to go. You
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: can't stay right here and get over there. You cannot. Man,
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: here's the third way to look at it. You have
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: to leave. If you want to grow, you cannot grow
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: staying there. You cannot expect to grow. If you're unwilling
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: to change. If you're unwilling to change, you cannot expect
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: to grow. You can't y'all. Let me say I'm till
