- 0:15Speaker 1: theming buck bus things in the cubby me good it, Steh,
- 0:24Speaker 1: listen to the movie together for stum. Please, I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: join join me in doing me. Honey, you gotta turn you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn turn turn, got to turn out turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it. Uh huh. I show well a good mar
- 2:03Speaker 1: than everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now for one and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:22Speaker 1: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:29Speaker 1: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:32Speaker 1: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:35Speaker 1: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:44Speaker 1: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:47Speaker 1: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:51Speaker 1: displayed in my life, the protection he's given me over
- 2:55Speaker 1: the years, to being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:58Speaker 1: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 1: all all the goodness that I perceived to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:07Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out into space, and what you pray about is
- 3:16Speaker 1: what you receive, you know, and so I've become better
- 3:20Speaker 1: and better at that. It's not to say that I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 1: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 1: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:32Speaker 1: going to do and saying and all of this is his.
- 3:35Speaker 1: That's not to say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:41Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:44Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:54Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:02Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:06Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I was driving when I gave up and I let
- 4:19Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:23Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:28Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:36Speaker 1: he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:51Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do? Part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:57Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and as all setting as you
- 5:00Speaker 1: think it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I
- 5:03Speaker 1: did God's will, that if I let God tell me
- 5:07Speaker 1: what to do, that it would cause me to not
- 5:09Speaker 1: to be able to do a certain some things I
- 5:12Speaker 1: wanted to do well, which is true. But the stuff
- 5:14Speaker 1: I wanted to do was all detrimental to my well
- 5:17Speaker 1: being and my future and my growth and development as
- 5:21Speaker 1: a man. I was stopping my own growth as a man,
- 5:24Speaker 1: because see, I was doing what I thought I should
- 5:27Speaker 1: do as a man. But when you give it over
- 5:29Speaker 1: to God, to God has a much better plan for
- 5:32Speaker 1: you than you can ever have for yourself. And God
- 5:35Speaker 1: knows a better way, far better than the one you know.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand
- 5:40Speaker 1: that part of it. And that's the part that I
- 5:42Speaker 1: finally got through my head to let God do it
- 5:45Speaker 1: his way and to show me a better way, and
- 5:48Speaker 1: to teach me a better way and expose to me
- 5:51Speaker 1: a better way. And when I opened up my mind
- 5:54Speaker 1: to what God was talking about, I began to see
- 5:57Speaker 1: things totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:02Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:05Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:08Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:24Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:27Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, Because it's such
- 6:30Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:43Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:54Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: something that you cannot have because he said you can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: do it. But that's what he'd have for. He'd have
- 7:04Speaker 1: for the moments when you stumble and you fall, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: you go stumble and fall. See, you got to get
- 7:08Speaker 1: that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But see you get God in your life and it
- 7:14Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over,
- 7:18Speaker 1: laid air, languish. That's what God is for. So when
- 7:23Speaker 1: you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because you're going
- 7:26Speaker 1: to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong. You're
- 7:30Speaker 1: going to come under attack, You're going to be lied about,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you are going to be falsely accused. That's going to
- 7:37Speaker 1: happen to you the moment you make a decision to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do better, the moment you try to be more. The
- 7:43Speaker 1: devil got to send his attackers, man, and he controls
- 7:47Speaker 1: certain people. He just got people as on his side
- 7:50Speaker 1: twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all met
- 7:54Speaker 1: one or two of them in your life. They're just
- 7:56Speaker 1: busy with the business of nothingness. They just be about
- 8:00Speaker 1: to do about the destruction of others. You said, I
- 8:03Speaker 1: know him, you know him. They coming. But here's what
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to hold fast too. They can't take away
- 8:10Speaker 1: nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
- 8:15Speaker 1: people who claim to have made you, if they're so
- 8:19Speaker 1: in to make you business, why don't they make theyselves?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more, and they're
- 8:24Speaker 1: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: they make somebody else? Since since you want to get
- 8:31Speaker 1: credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're responsible for
- 8:37Speaker 1: someone else's success, then you should easily be able to
- 8:40Speaker 1: take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:43Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:46Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:50Speaker 1: just hope man, that I'm giving it to God the
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:57Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, But man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show. What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours. I can't give God
- 9:09Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: given honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve
- 9:27Speaker 1: minutes to give him out the day. That don't make
- 9:29Speaker 1: no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life God
- 9:33Speaker 1: has given me in exchange for so small of effort
- 9:36Speaker 1: that I put forth. Don't let the effort you got
- 9:38Speaker 1: to put forth to God seems so dawning that you
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems like
- 9:43Speaker 1: a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what he'd
- 9:45Speaker 1: be given us for real. So if you want a
- 9:47Speaker 1: real life. You want a real shot at what you
- 9:49Speaker 1: can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you can become who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:54Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen might have you undivided attention. Please. This
- 10:05Speaker 1: is morning time. This is Steve Harvey Morning showtime. This
- 10:11Speaker 1: is the time when we gather pull ourselves together, joyce
- 10:16Speaker 1: and the day that the Lord has made. Grateful and gratitude,
- 10:20Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show. But without the
- 10:24Speaker 1: following people, this show would not be possible. Shirley Struggle,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve. I thought it was dry. That was real. Drive.
- 10:37Speaker 1: That was drying. Morning Happy that dry, That wasn't drive. Everybody.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Here we go, Junior boy, I'm gonna give it to
- 10:49Speaker 1: you morning. Uh. Janthany Brown. My new name is post chemo.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Referred to me as post chemo baby. I'm in these streets,
- 11:00Speaker 1: are you lou anymore? I'm out here in the street
- 11:06Speaker 1: and the food you coming, ya ya. I'm in the
- 11:09Speaker 1: building like a Steve. It's Friday morning. Baby. Let's get it, man,
- 11:13Speaker 1: Let's get it. Many a man, we love you. Just
- 11:19Speaker 1: feel a Friday feels different than any other damn day week.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It just feels different. Yeah, Pastor Joe old Since said
- 11:28Speaker 1: make everyday Friday, make it every day of fun. I
- 11:31Speaker 1: like starting something funny. Make every day feeling Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday. Well,
- 11:39Speaker 1: welcome back to work and to the show. Jay, are
- 11:42Speaker 1: you feeling? Are you been? Are you been? What's the morning? What?
- 11:54Speaker 1: What'd you be doing? Jam? We're working. I got writing
- 11:59Speaker 1: books again, have a new book today that we're doing
- 12:02Speaker 1: later on. Yes, that's right, he does, like one a
- 12:06Speaker 1: week or something. Who is that? I don't know. I
- 12:10Speaker 1: don't know it tinker Bell? I guess is that tinker
- 12:12Speaker 1: Bell calling? Who? Who is that? We just got to
- 12:18Speaker 1: work know what it is? Of course it's sure. Yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I know you didn't say of talking to somebody and back.
- 12:29Speaker 1: She don't know where she wanted to live, Yeah, she ma,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm dog it is crazy where she made the decision.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I don't get connected to nothing. She moved this time
- 12:39Speaker 1: called Monica movie. It don't be connected to nobody moving
- 12:46Speaker 1: this morning show. I don't get it. I don't know
- 12:48Speaker 1: what she got doing. I moved because of that she
- 12:52Speaker 1: did Monica single, Monica go like she want to go.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Monica moved and sh I'm moved lonely. Sure what I
- 13:00Speaker 1: want to do? To talk to your damn husband? I did, Okay,
- 13:10Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it. She moved, called Monica when
- 13:14Speaker 1: she moved, move bring that backley move. He think you
- 13:25Speaker 1: all are gonna lead me here? The single he could
- 13:28Speaker 1: do what he want to do. I could do what
- 13:30Speaker 1: I want to do to come up, coming up at
- 13:32Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour, the elves. The elves are
- 13:36Speaker 1: on strike. Tommy's gonna tell you about it, right, I
- 13:40Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with that. You're listening morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Christmas is fast approaching. We all know that time to
- 13:50Speaker 1: get the toys together. However, the elves, I didn't know this.
- 13:54Speaker 1: The elves are on stripe and you guys are here
- 13:58Speaker 1: with some grievances. Uh. I got this. I got this
- 14:02Speaker 1: summer having listened myself because it's something that I'm I'm
- 14:06Speaker 1: good at doing because I'm a former union man and elves.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Elves have decided it came to me with them a
- 14:14Speaker 1: lot of complaints and I'm being they representative. Now. We
- 14:17Speaker 1: wanted Timmy to stand up for him, but then he
- 14:21Speaker 1: was already standing up. They went, we need somebody that's
- 14:28Speaker 1: standing up for it, that look like they actually standing,
- 14:31Speaker 1: So I said I would do it. The elves this
- 14:34Speaker 1: year are going on strike. Well they haven't gone on yet,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but they're threatening to go on strike. The elves and
- 14:43Speaker 1: wanting to sit out this year. Santa Claus is having
- 14:46Speaker 1: trouble because he's trying to talk to these damn elves
- 14:49Speaker 1: about their concern So I'm here with their grievances and
- 14:55Speaker 1: I want to start by saying, these are the elves
- 14:58Speaker 1: grievouss and I will be preparing these statements on behalf
- 15:02Speaker 1: of the Ill Foundation. We the elves who work at
- 15:07Speaker 1: the North Pole, are requesting the following changes. Please show
- 15:13Speaker 1: your support through our website www dot help elves dot com.
- 15:21Speaker 1: If you're gonna help the elves, help elves dot com, Tommy,
- 15:25Speaker 1: don't act like you do. So you know what we
- 15:34Speaker 1: re complaints that the elves have, and here we go.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Number one problem that they have it we the elves
- 15:43Speaker 1: would like to stop making these damn wooden toys. No,
- 15:49Speaker 1: no kid won't no damn wooden toy. And we've been
- 15:54Speaker 1: making them for years Okay, ain't nobody asks for now
- 15:58Speaker 1: one of you? Wouldn't we these wooden pigs block? They
- 16:04Speaker 1: got real toys. Now. Secondly, we the elms, are requesting
- 16:08Speaker 1: to have a casual Friday. So when we got to
- 16:12Speaker 1: wear these stupid ass uniform, tight ass pants, these pointed hats.
- 16:19Speaker 1: We want a casual frid voicing the concerns and elves
- 16:24Speaker 1: have and and considered on going on strike, and they
- 16:28Speaker 1: wanted me to convey this to sent across and everybody listen,
- 16:31Speaker 1: We the elves would like to request a thirty minute
- 16:35Speaker 1: smoke break. They smash, We smoke, and then we want
- 16:43Speaker 1: to be able to go outside and smoke whatever we want.
- 16:51Speaker 1: They try making these without it pills. Don't get high.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Here's the next playing on behalf of the hells Elves.
- 17:02Speaker 1: We the alves have voted to eliminate bring your kids
- 17:07Speaker 1: to work day. The truth of the matter is elves
- 17:14Speaker 1: really don't like kids. We don't damn that because they
- 17:22Speaker 1: think we kids too. Just because we shot get your
- 17:26Speaker 1: damn hands off of me. I drove here into slave.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Next complaint that they have we the elves are uncomfortable
- 17:42Speaker 1: wearing knees. Damn funny toe shoes that herd did. We
- 17:51Speaker 1: want crocs to be the new official Elves shoes, Crocs
- 17:58Speaker 1: and gators to be the new el Shoot the elves,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm doing complain. You don't act like you ain't with them.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You're trying to add a complaint. You ain't Elves and
- 18:13Speaker 1: pilgrims have the same shot. Do you know I'm not
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm not. Well, let's quit playing this game. Next complaint,
- 18:29Speaker 1: We the elves do not like elves shirts and pants.
- 18:33Speaker 1: They ain't got no damn pockets, and we want to
- 18:36Speaker 1: start using fanny paths so when we go outside to
- 18:44Speaker 1: take our smoke break, we'll have our stuff with the
- 18:50Speaker 1: next complaint, We the elves understand that we on the
- 18:54Speaker 1: North pole, but some of the younger elves wants to
- 18:58Speaker 1: cut back on the heat being so high all the
- 19:01Speaker 1: time in the workshop. The older els is fine, but
- 19:09Speaker 1: swear old people. We the elms, would like to assign
- 19:18Speaker 1: ten els each year to ride around with Senna, because
- 19:22Speaker 1: we think it's unfair that we make all the damn
- 19:25Speaker 1: toys and we don't ever get going on fat ass,
- 19:30Speaker 1: just be packing up the sled with the rain d
- 19:33Speaker 1: damn it. We made the toys a couple more quickly.
- 19:39Speaker 1: We the els we still love miss Claus and we
- 19:42Speaker 1: know she's very nice and she's never too busy to
- 19:45Speaker 1: being down and give us a hook. But we still
- 19:48Speaker 1: would like to know exactly what do she do up here?
- 19:55Speaker 1: The cooks, the cooks for everybody. We ain't had nothing
- 20:00Speaker 1: from her. We got at last, we're not least. We
- 20:05Speaker 1: the Ale support the me too movement. That's real strong
- 20:09Speaker 1: up here, and some of the female ales are requesting
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's Santa refrain from saying ho ho ho ho. And
- 20:20Speaker 1: on that note, we're gonna go go is up next. Man,

- 21:42Speaker 1: What happened to ice cream and cake and punch and

- 22:13Speaker 1: on their own that somebody else's child it's okay to
- 22:16Speaker 1: feed them some curry go My child don't eat no goat.
- 22:20Speaker 1: We eat chicken. We eat steak, we eat cow. We
- 22:23Speaker 1: don't eat curry. Goat yo eat it got a birthday

- 22:32Speaker 1: don't want you. If you would have called me to

- 22:43Speaker 1: me and a Bregreen we cause you don't know who
- 22:45Speaker 1: we are dealing with it all okay, I need you
- 22:47Speaker 1: to slow it down for me. Man, I understanding nothing

- 22:53Speaker 1: I can't tell me for floyd Don't I'm like for

- 28:55Speaker 1: If this were the Maury povid show. It would go
- 28:58Speaker 1: something like this, Hunter Biden, you are the father. Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Hunter Biden took a DNA test. It turns out he
- 29:09Speaker 1: is one hundred percent the father of a fifteen month
- 29:13Speaker 1: old love child. Okay. Earlier, Hunter had denied having sex
- 29:18Speaker 1: with London Alexis Roberts, who claimed in a court filing
- 29:22Speaker 1: Hunter was the father. London Alexis, she is he Mary.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I think they're not together right now or something. Well,
- 29:36Speaker 1: you fifteen month old? All right here, let me finish
- 29:44Speaker 1: the story. I know this is crazy, right. Uh. London
- 29:48Speaker 1: Alexis Roberts claimed in a court filing that Hunter was
- 29:52Speaker 1: the father. Record show that the DNA test proved it
- 29:55Speaker 1: with scientific certainty. That's one hundred percent. She se child
- 30:00Speaker 1: support and protection for the baby by the US Secret Service.
- 30:05Speaker 1: She wants the baby to be protected by the City
- 30:08Speaker 1: of the United States. Uh. Yeah, she gave birth in
- 30:12Speaker 1: August of last Lady, you don't get protection from Severa's
- 30:17Speaker 1: Secret Service, from being the vice presidents sons, love child,
- 30:24Speaker 1: baby grandchild. No, no, listen, but you have to be
- 30:32Speaker 1: married somewhere. No, they're not gonna do that. Yeah, well
- 30:36Speaker 1: you marriage somewhere. Here's the answer to you. Guys this question. Yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 1: he's separated. At the time, Hunter Biden was in a relationship.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot about this with his
- 30:47Speaker 1: brother's widow. That's right, that's what it was. The romance
- 30:52Speaker 1: was revealed about the time. He's separated. Yeah, oh oh,
- 30:56Speaker 1: wait a minute, what he was his brother's widow? Wi
- 31:03Speaker 1: no bow, he passed away. Yeah, he was a relationship
- 31:08Speaker 1: with wife. Yes, well, in a relationship with but he
- 31:16Speaker 1: was separate. He was separated from his wife. Alright, we
- 31:20Speaker 1: need another candidate. This don't ain't this o lord? Yeah,
- 31:24Speaker 1: he has three adult daughter penises. Can we can we
- 31:37Speaker 1: bring the penis forward? Please? Yes? Yes, so so let
- 31:43Speaker 1: me ask you this right here. Both passed away. Yes,
- 31:47Speaker 1: he had a widow. Uh huh. Yes, his brother brother
- 31:51Speaker 1: Hunter started dating her. Yes, not was Hunter Mary. Yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: but he was paraded. He was separated. He was separated
- 32:03Speaker 1: and started dating his brother's widow. Yeah, and then he
- 32:08Speaker 1: had another chick that he got pregnant. Baby mama. There
- 32:13Speaker 1: you go, see you go? Is doing two damn much.
- 32:19Speaker 1: He's a man. Yeah, that hunter be hunting. Don't he
- 32:23Speaker 1: need to hunt for a walgreen? Nobody need to hunt
- 32:25Speaker 1: for Walgreen. Well, a hearing has been scheduled for December second.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Uh in this praternity suit and the baby lives in Arkansas. Yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: all right, that's right there, because he didn't then drove
- 32:42Speaker 1: him crazy. All right, Steve, we gotta move on. Let's
- 32:45Speaker 1: get to the headlines. Please, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Trip,
- 32:50Speaker 1: thank you very much. Ann, Good morning everybody. This is
- 32:52Speaker 1: answered with the news and yesterday's impeachment hearings. In the
- 32:55Speaker 1: President Trump's actions regarding Ukraine, lawmakers heard from two other witnesses,
- 32:59Speaker 1: both as defying about Trump's alleged attempts to leverage much
- 33:03Speaker 1: needed military aid to pressure Ukrainian government officials into announcing
- 33:07Speaker 1: that they were going to investigate Joe Biden and his son.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Both witnesses, Fiona Hill, she was a former national security
- 33:13Speaker 1: Ukraine expert, and David Holmes, a stafford at the US
- 33:16Speaker 1: Embassy in Kiev, said they were both saddened by the
- 33:19Speaker 1: whole thing. I've found this particular call subject Macha on
- 33:23Speaker 1: the weather it was conducted surprising. So you heard President
- 33:26Speaker 1: Trump ask Ambassador Sonlin, is he going to do the investigation? Yes, sir.
- 33:32Speaker 1: In fact, Holmes says he actually overheard the phone call
- 33:35Speaker 1: where the President indicated what he wanted the European Union
- 33:37Speaker 1: Ambassador Gordon Sonlin to do. I was shocked their requirement
- 33:41Speaker 1: was so specific and concrete. This was a demand that
- 33:45Speaker 1: President Zelenski personally commit on a cable news channel to
- 33:49Speaker 1: a specific investigation. A President Trump's political rival, and Sonlon
- 33:54Speaker 1: himself called at a quid pro quo. However, Republicans say
- 33:57Speaker 1: that since military aid did eventually arrive and that Ukraine
- 34:01Speaker 1: never made the televised anowment, the announcement that you can't
- 34:03Speaker 1: impeach somebody for what they planned to do but didn't.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Trump friend Benjamin and Yah, who was in legal trouble.
- 34:09Speaker 1: The former Israeli Prime minister faces charges a corruption, bribery
- 34:12Speaker 1: and fraud. The allegations don't force nint Yado out of office,
- 34:16Speaker 1: but he's lost a lot of political power, as evidenced
- 34:19Speaker 1: by two recent inconclusive elections where he's been unable to
- 34:22Speaker 1: keep his control of the government. Ninyah, who was calling
- 34:25Speaker 1: false allegations, they say his false allegations from a tainted investigation,
- 34:29Speaker 1: claims that's fake news, claims his country is witnessing an
- 34:32Speaker 1: attempted coup wording sounds kind of familiar, don't it. Many
- 34:36Speaker 1: community people say he's got a lot of nerve the
- 34:38Speaker 1: former Chicago cop who shot and killed an innocent black
- 34:41Speaker 1: girl named Riquea Boyd seven years ago, asking the courts
- 34:45Speaker 1: to remove the case from his record. Dante Servant was
- 34:48Speaker 1: off duty and street clothes back in March of twenty twelve,
- 34:50Speaker 1: driving by a park near his home when a man
- 34:52Speaker 1: approached his car. He thought, he said, with a gun.
- 34:54Speaker 1: He shot at the man as he drove away. The
- 34:57Speaker 1: guy was only wounded in the hand, but twenty two
- 35:00Speaker 1: year old Roque of Boyd, who was just standing with
- 35:02Speaker 1: some friends, was hit in the back of the head
- 35:03Speaker 1: and died the next day. Former New York City Mayor
- 35:07Speaker 1: Michael Bloomberg is about to make an official reporter Lee.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Bloomberg's now followed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election
- 35:13Speaker 1: Commission declaring himself a candidate for the presidency. He's already
- 35:16Speaker 1: filled papers get his name on the primary ballot in
- 35:19Speaker 1: three states. Finally, we've headed to the weekend where tons
- 35:22Speaker 1: of folks expected to check out the movie Harriet. Because
- 35:24Speaker 1: the word is that it's great. If I'm free, my

- 35:29Speaker 1: going back. Why you back here? Come get you, Harriet.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Welcome to the end of ground Railroad. About midway during
- 35:39Speaker 1: the showing of the movie last week, a group of
- 35:41Speaker 1: black women who had brought their tickets in advance in
- 35:43Speaker 1: Louisiana were embarrassed by three people in the AMC theater
- 35:47Speaker 1: who tried to make them think they were there unlawfully.

- 44:49Speaker 1: at a funeral, three minute remarks. Why are you talking forever?
- 44:58Speaker 1: Why is it doing that? Okay, we gotta keep him moving.
- 45:03Speaker 1: It's three minute remark Come on, cat dog, let's go. Well. Yes,

- 46:10Speaker 1: they say that you're not going to be What do
- 46:14Speaker 1: you mean taking me off? Well, what I'm saying is
- 46:17Speaker 1: they say that you're you're not going to abide by

- 46:41Speaker 1: you to take me off? One of the one of
- 46:44Speaker 1: the family members I'm assuming is who who made the adjustment?
- 46:49Speaker 1: And an adjustment that ain't no adjustment, that's that's changing
- 46:52Speaker 1: the whole program? Who else is on the list? I
- 46:56Speaker 1: mean there's quite a few family members doing different things,
- 46:59Speaker 1: uh throughout the funeral. Okay, So how did you get
- 47:03Speaker 1: to my name? Is what I'm trying to figure out.
- 47:05Speaker 1: That they said, let listen to me, listen, listen to me.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Listen to me, brother, keep listen. Tell me what they said?
- 47:12Speaker 1: It is that you weren't going to abide by the time.
- 47:17Speaker 1: You weren't going to do your remarks in three minutes
- 47:20Speaker 1: or less. Listen, listen, listen, listen. Monty raised me. He

- 49:13Speaker 1: I don't want to have this turn out to be bad,
- 49:16Speaker 1: and we want to have a great homegoing for sister
- 49:18Speaker 1: Deloyd's okay, damn right. And if I don't get to
- 49:22Speaker 1: say nothing, I guarantees, I guarantee you it's gonna be
- 49:25Speaker 1: a truthful one in there. Somebody else don't get things
- 49:28Speaker 1: in the car for tooth. I guarantees that if I
- 49:31Speaker 1: don't get to say nothing, that my monkey funeral, Monethy
- 49:34Speaker 1: didn't pay for the college. I didn't put six thousand
- 49:38Speaker 1: in the funeral. I bet you, I tell you this
- 49:40Speaker 1: I'll tell you this, mister lord. I bet you whether

- 53:22Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject my
- 53:26Speaker 1: work wife is selfish and messy. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 53:30Speaker 1: a loving and respectable married man that likes to flirt.
- 53:35Speaker 1: My wife knows I'm a flirt, and she just tolerates
- 53:37Speaker 1: it because she knows nobody else wants me. I've flirt
- 53:41Speaker 1: occasionally at work, and it gets me a couple of
- 53:43Speaker 1: laughs and eyebrows raised and the ladies flirt back. I
- 53:46Speaker 1: have a real life work wife that I work closely with,
- 53:50Speaker 1: and my wife has met her, so it's no big deal.
- 53:54Speaker 1: What my wife did not know is that my work
- 53:56Speaker 1: wife really likes me, but she respects the fact that
- 53:59Speaker 1: I'm married. We have younger interns that work with us seasonally.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Our most recent intern is twenty six years old and
- 54:07Speaker 1: fine as all get out. I made a few jokes
- 54:11Speaker 1: here and there to welcome her, but it all backfired
- 54:14Speaker 1: on me. This time. She doesn't understand that I was
- 54:17Speaker 1: only kidding with her, and now she started dressing sexier
- 54:21Speaker 1: and rubbing up against me and blowing kisses when she
- 54:24Speaker 1: passes by my desk. On Monday, she came over to
- 54:27Speaker 1: my desk and massaged my back and shoulders right in
- 54:31Speaker 1: front of my work wife. I could tell by the
- 54:34Speaker 1: look on my work wife's face that she was furious.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Instead of a workwife confronting me or the intern, she
- 54:44Speaker 1: called my wife. I had no idea what happened until
- 54:49Speaker 1: I got home, and my wife would not speak to me.
- 54:52Speaker 1: After begging her to tell me what's wrong. She told
- 54:55Speaker 1: me that my workwife called her and said, girl, he's
- 54:59Speaker 1: not going to on us with this young flusy. You
- 55:02Speaker 1: need to put a stop to it. I told her, yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 1: I told I told her my work wife was out
- 55:09Speaker 1: of line. But she sided with the work wife and
- 55:12Speaker 1: now she wants to come up to my job to
- 55:15Speaker 1: see what's going on. What do I do in this situation?
- 55:18Speaker 1: I think there will be a showdown at work today
- 55:20Speaker 1: because it's Friday, Steve, I need your help. Brother. Oh nah,
- 55:25Speaker 1: I don't call on Steve now when it's when it's
- 55:28Speaker 1: too late. Uh, mister loving and respectable married man. You
- 55:32Speaker 1: see what flirting gets you? Huh? You see it gets
- 55:36Speaker 1: you a selfish and very message very messy, messy, messy
- 55:40Speaker 1: work wife. Just as your subject suggests, she is so wrong,
- 55:44Speaker 1: She really really is out of line. You're right about that.
- 55:46Speaker 1: How dare she call your wife with this? Really? So
- 55:51Speaker 1: by that I can say I agree with you again.
- 55:54Speaker 1: She does really like you, and if you weren't married,
- 55:58Speaker 1: she'd be trying to get at you. If she's not already,
- 56:01Speaker 1: it could have been. This could go really really wrong
- 56:04Speaker 1: if you If your wife comes up to the job,
- 56:07Speaker 1: it could go badly for you. Okay, And it's not
- 56:10Speaker 1: over because you were your Your wife could get you
- 56:13Speaker 1: fired if she comes up there and starts some stuff
- 56:16Speaker 1: with these women. So um, I really hope that she
- 56:19Speaker 1: doesn't come up there. You're gonna have to do what
- 56:21Speaker 1: you something works some magic at home. The young girl
- 56:24Speaker 1: also out of line. What is she rubbing on you for?
- 56:30Speaker 1: And huh, well, what is she rubbing? Yeah she's twenty six,
- 56:36Speaker 1: but she still knows it that he's married. What is
- 56:39Speaker 1: she rubbing on you for? Rubbing up against you, touching
- 56:42Speaker 1: on you, blowing you kisses and all that? All right,
- 56:45Speaker 1: come on now, I mean a lot of times there
- 56:47Speaker 1: is a little flirting that goes on at work, but
- 56:49Speaker 1: it shouldn't go any further than that. No touching, no
- 56:52Speaker 1: blowing kisses, no rubbing up against each other. You need
- 56:55Speaker 1: to stop flirting and allowing these women to touch you
- 56:57Speaker 1: and do all this stuff and blow kisses at you.
- 57:00Speaker 1: You sit down when you come to work, Okay, do
- 57:03Speaker 1: your work and go home to your wife and pray
- 57:06Speaker 1: that your wife does not come up to your job
- 57:08Speaker 1: and get everybody fired, because she certainly has a right to,
- 57:11Speaker 1: and the first one would be your So called work wife.
- 57:15Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you said you're gonna let Junior take
- 57:17Speaker 1: over this one. I know you want to get in
- 57:20Speaker 1: though I know you do. I know you do. This
- 57:23Speaker 1: is a tailor man. A little bit though. I just
- 57:27Speaker 1: started off, So Junior go here. Let me just start
- 57:33Speaker 1: off by saying this year. This is what I do
- 57:35Speaker 1: know about this man. Huh, this an ugly man. First off,
- 57:40Speaker 1: you need to understand this man is ugly. Okay, it's
- 57:44Speaker 1: all in the letter. My wife knows that I flirted,
- 57:48Speaker 1: and she just told her because she knows nobody else
- 57:51Speaker 1: wants me. Okay, only ugly people make these type of steaks.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Nobody has something ever said nobody don't, won't. Oh no.
- 58:01Speaker 1: And then here's another telltale sign. I am a loving
- 58:04Speaker 1: and respectable married man that likes to flirt. No loving
- 58:08Speaker 1: and respectable man flirt. They can't be respectable and flirt?
- 58:13Speaker 1: How you do that? But see ugly people? Though? See
- 58:17Speaker 1: only ugly people. Think everybody woke in people? They was
- 58:26Speaker 1: he the type of dude that walk in the rule
- 58:28Speaker 1: and stand in the doorway and pull see don't don't.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Nobody can't do that. Just how I not? This man
- 58:36Speaker 1: is ugly? Now, hear another thing too. He owed too.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I just wanted to offer you a different
- 58:44Speaker 1: way to look at this a little bit. Count stay
- 58:46Speaker 1: out of it. Go ahead. He may be ugly, but
- 58:51Speaker 1: it's a set up, he says. I'm a loving and
- 58:55Speaker 1: respectable married man that likes to flirt. That's a set up.
- 59:01Speaker 1: My wife knows I'll flirt, and she tolerates you because
- 59:04Speaker 1: she knows nobody else wants me. That's a self I
- 59:08Speaker 1: first flirt occasionally at work and it gets me a
- 59:12Speaker 1: couple of laughs and eyebrows raised, and the ladies flirt back.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Here we go. Now they flirting back. And I got
- 59:20Speaker 1: a real life work wife that I worked closely. And
- 59:24Speaker 1: my wife is meta, So it's no big deal. Boy.
- 59:27Speaker 1: What Yeah? Yeah, too much bullcrap in this letter. Go ahead, Junior,
- 59:32Speaker 1: when we come back, Yeah, you finish up? Okay? Cool? Yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 1: we'll have part two response and uh and Steve, you
- 59:41Speaker 1: just heard is gonna tag it coming up at twenty
- 59:43Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Today's subject my wife is selfish.
- 59:47Speaker 1: My work wife is selfish and MESSI. We'll get back
- 59:49Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Let's
- 59:55Speaker 1: get back into the letter. Guys, my work wife is
- 59:58Speaker 1: selfish and MESSI let's j okay. Uh this man head
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: is at work, he gots worth wife. Okay. Now he
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: has another little intern that's twenty six years old that
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: is messing around in his worth wife's relationship. Now here's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: one thing I don't understand. Where's the other part though?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: There's something missing out this letter. Where is the other part?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: What have you and the work wife been doing? See,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: that's the other part. I know, men, I gotta work,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: White Monica don't do none of this for me. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have the worth wife. All my work wife do is
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: fixed my plate, make sure I got my plane ticket,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: make sure I got my hotel numb Monica ain't leaned
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: in it, kissed me not one time. She just makes
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: sure my food is good. Know what the hotel room
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I'm supposed to go to? Make sure my plane ticket straight?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I get to my show, and I sit where I sit.

- 1:00:59Speaker 1: she ain't blue men kiss Now, je let me let junior,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: let me say something else. This man is set up.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: This is a gangster move he's doing. He say, uh,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I have you know that he don't have to wear
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: a wife, don't have to weary about nothing because she
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: knows nobody else wants me. Now when he flirt with
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: the ladies at work, they flirt back. He got a
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: real life work wife. She won't him as a work wife.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: And then what now, he says, what his wife don't know,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: is his work wife really do like him? Now you
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: just saying, don't nobody like you? But now you got
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the work wife to really like you. You got a
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: twenty six year old has been failed for you. And
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: when you flirt with other women, they flirt back. This
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: boy is setting his wife up for his ability to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: food around under her nose without her getting suspicious. Gohad
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you yeah, and that's the reason why you introduced the
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: work wife to your real wife, because that way is
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: right out in pummeling. See, now you got room to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: play in now because everybody know everybody, everybody know everybody.

- 1:18:25Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: to stew all right, it's been a good Friday, a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: good week. Interesting week. Yeah right, yeah, week of work.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I'm glad it's the weekend. Man, I ain't seen you
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: in Friday. I'm not gonna let oh y'all just gang
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: up on me like that. I'm just glad your post. Yeah,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I'm just glad your post. Yes, post chemo back out
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: here in these streets. Yeah. Yeah, everybody have a good
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and Steven's on you take us home with some Hey.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: You know, UM, I wanted to share this with you.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: I think a lot of people, UM, waste a lot
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: of energy in two facets of life. And I've been
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: learning this when I do my morning meditations. The first
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: thing that people waste a lot of energy on is
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: worrying about the future. Uh. God already has your future
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: in his eyesight. He knows exactly what's happening to you
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: at all times. What he does is he unfolds your
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: future for you, one day at a time. Now, worrying
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: doesn't change tomorrow. It never has, it never will. So
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: when you waste a lot of when you put a
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: lot of energy into worrying about the future. I didn't
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: say that you're not supposed to dream, have goals, have aspirations,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: and make plans. I said worrying. Worrying. Worrying does nothing.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: So that's one form of energy that people waste. The
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: other form of energy that people waste and it has
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: no value, is they keep reflecting and going over the past.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Do you know how many people can't move forward because
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: of something that happened in their past and they just
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: won't let it go. That's a wasted energy. You cannot
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: change the past. Once it becomes a part of the past,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: it's back there. You can't do anything about it. Water
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: over the dam, and you can't do a single thing
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: about tomorrow, not one single thing. Those two forms of
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: wasted energy exist in most people's lives, and I understand that.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: So now what I'm asking you to do is understand something.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: There's things that you keep harping on from your pants.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Everything that has happened to you, everything that you're going
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: through is preparing you for your future. Everything you're going through,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: and everything you've been through is preparing you for your future.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Everything you've gotten over, every lesson you've learned, every hardship
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you've had, your sicknesses were creating a you to go
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: into the future. And you just gotta understand it like that,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: when you look back on your life. I look, I
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: was reflecting today. I was thinking about all the stuff
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I did and how it had prepared me for exactly
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: for where I am today. I've had so many setbacks,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: trials and tribulations. I've learned so many things through failure
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: that I actually happen to know a little bit right now.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I'm still learning and there are a lot of things
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: I still got to put together. But I've really become
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: an experienced person because of the experience says that I've
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: had in my past. And I have no regrets of
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: my past because it taught me the lessons I needed
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: to learn to get to the today that I am.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: And as long as I don't keep overburdening myself with
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: tomorrow worrying about it, and I can keep letting go
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of the past, bygones, be bygones, I take all that
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: energy to focus on today. Today. It's where you have
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: to have your focus once again. Not to say you're
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: not to plan, have dreams, hopes, and visions, because you are.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: But I'm talking about worrying about tomorrow. Once I stopped
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: worried about tomorrow, and once I let my past be
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: my past, stopped allowing people to come up to me
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and go, Steve, you doing this now? I remember when
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: you was that? Yes you do remember when I was that,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and guess what I was that? But I ain't that
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: no more. And if you can't accept where I'm going
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: in my life and how I'm improving it, then that's
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: too bad for you. But I'm not going to let
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: you or myself hold me to my past when clearly
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: God has gotten you over it. So if God has
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: gotten you over your past, meaning it's behind you, why
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: would you keep bringing it up? And since you can't
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: do nothing about tomorrow, your focus should be on today today. Really,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: if you think about it, folks, it's absolutely plenty. You
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: don't need nothing else to happen to you except what
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: happened today. Now, if you've got some bad news, you're
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: hoping that tomorrow it turns into some good news. Of course,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: but if you do life right, all of your energy,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: it's sufficient just for today. And if you could learn
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: that critical thing to give up your past and let
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: it go and let God. If you can stop worrying
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: about your future because that's in God's hands and it
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: has nothing to do with you, you would have a
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: better now. You would have a better today, You would
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: make better decisions, you would be more focused, you would
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: be less burdened, and you would just really be an
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: overall happier person. Let it go and let God and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: stop worrying about the future. God got you. If you
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: do that, you'll save a lot of wasted energy and
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you can take that energy into making decisions for today
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: that will help you have a brighter future. Those are
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Hope you understood it. Dig it, have
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: yourself a great weekend. The weekend is here, ass promise,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: have yourself a great weekend. And if you don't, that
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: ain't none of my faults. Okay, we'll droke the mike. Hey,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: guess what what y'all have a great weekend. Here tell
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you Mamma neil Aby said, hey, hey, y'all. Be good everybody,
